Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm being at board of Vyarai. Embarked and profite. Embarque and celebrate. Rigolet. Publiere. Savoyed. Admirate. And profite.
Starting point is 00:00:13 Viarai. The voice that we love. I want to talk about American Giant. American Giant makes great clothing. But they do really more than just make great clothing. They're really trying to help restore America back to her place. Yeah, and they do both of those things, right? Here are some companies that are like,
Starting point is 00:00:29 We are doing the things that you want in the country, which are great. You love that people are, love the country and want to help out with American manufacturing. And of course, American Giant does that. But they also give you clothes that you really like and that are going to last not a year, not a decade, a lifetime. As long as you want them. They're going to be around forever because that's what they do. They're high quality. They go with everything.
Starting point is 00:00:52 I mean, their hoodies. I'm going to have, I, the end of my life, I will be handing down my hoodies from American Giant to my kids. That's going to be, it's part of my legacy. American dash giant.com slash Glenn is the place to go. If you use that address, you get 20% off your first order. American dash giant.com slash Glenn. People that care about the country, they care about the quality of their clothing, and they care about making American manufacturing great again.
Starting point is 00:01:20 So there you go. American dash giant.com slash Glenn. Check it out now. American dash giant.com slash Glenn. Hello, America. There's a lot to go into the, amazing numbers for Donald Trump last night, and it looked, it started the evening out, looking like Nikki Haley was going to close the gap and just be a few single digits away.
Starting point is 00:02:30 She ended up being 11 points out. Over 10 points was really kind of a breaking point, but she is going on. We'll tell you about that. But more importantly, the audio tape that now has been released, remember, Carrie Lake said, Somebody from the GOP came and tried to bribe me to get me to stop running for the Senate. Well, now the video or the audio tape is out, and it is shocking. We'll play that for you in 60 seconds. Now, I've said a million times you are the first responder in an emergency situation,
Starting point is 00:03:06 and if you're the one standing there, sometimes that means using deadly force. Are you prepared for that? However, a lot of times that situation doesn't call for deadly violence. When you are armed with a burner launcher, you have the perfect combination of man-stopping power that won't kill and protection for yourself and for your family. The non-lethal alternative to safeguarding your home that will teach someone a very painful lesson, but a non-lethal lesson. Now, I recommend you have both a gun and you're good at it and a burner.
Starting point is 00:03:39 This is starting to be carried by many police officers instead of a taser because sometimes a taser just doesn't work. This works. This is tear gas and kinetic grounds with a 60 foot range. One shot can incapacitate your attacker or your would-be attacker for about 45 minutes. That's enough time for the police to come. San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, not included. Visit berna.com slash glen. That's b-y-r-n-a-com slash glen.

So I don't know exactly how to work this in every day, but my son has written something on his window, and he gets up every day and he says it. And I think it is so powerful. And it came from Tony Robbins. And I really think it's a mantra that we should start our day with. And I just tweeted it out on X, so you find me on X and you'll see it. But every day I'd like to say this with you. So for now, just repeat after me.
Starting point is 00:05:05 I am the voice. I will lead, not follow. I will believe, not doubt. I will create, not destroy. I am a force for good. I am a force for God. I am a leader. Defy the odds.
Starting point is 00:05:31 Set a new standard. Step up. Step up. Step up, America. We need everyone in the game. You need to realize the power of your voice. You need to realize how much. you can change, how much you already have changed. You have the global elites teetering right now.
Starting point is 00:05:57 They are freaking out so much because you were the voice. I am the voice. I will lead, not follow. I will believe, not doubt. I will create, not destroy. I am a force for good. I'm a force for God, I'm a leader. Defy the odds. Set a new standard and step up when we believe everything changes. You can find that on my Twitter page. You can just go to X.com slash Glenn Beck and find it at Glenbeck. Okay. Well, welcome to the program. Now, I want to start with something that I don't think If we were a liberal show, MSNBC, we would be doing this. But I think conservatives are different. I think I, at least I do, I want to know all the bad things that are happening in my own party.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Because I believe my own party, even though it's not my party, the people on my side, if you will. Some of them are corrupt. And I don't have an answer for who did this, but I want you to just ask yourself, The mom formula. And I'll tell you what the mom formula is after you listen to this. It was last year at CPAC, Kerry Lake made a pretty bold statement, and she said, someone in the GOP,
Starting point is 00:07:34 in the back east GOP, tried to bribe me to keep me from running for Senate. Now, a lot of people can say those things, but do you have the evidence? Yes, she does. And it was released yesterday. I want you to hear this, which was taped, I believe, by her. And it is the voice of the Republican, head of the Republican Party in Arizona. Listen.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Is there a number at which? I can be bought. That's what it's about. You can take a box for a couple years. No. I'll go right back to what you're doing. No. 10 million, 20 million, 30, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:08:24 A billion, no. This is not about money. This is about our country. I think it's disturbing that they would even, that anybody would think this is. To be fair, even me, even me, I'll say this. I want a fresh race right now for the reason that I've never seen anyone. I can't think of a single person in a federal race
Starting point is 00:08:51 who lost, ran in an animal. I can't think of it. If you can think of it, let me know. I am not going to let these people who hate our country tell me not to run. You should call them and tell them to get behind me. So what's going on? What is, I'm assuming this is our friend. This is, this is back east. They, there are very powerful people that want to keep you out. Oh no, they do.
Starting point is 00:09:18 But they're willing to put their money with their mouth is in a big way. in a big way. So, this conversation never happened. This is crazy, though. They should want me. I'm a great candidate.
Starting point is 00:09:31 People love me. These people are corrupt. Well, maybe you're right. They are corrupt. Maybe. This is your rap. Don't go.
Starting point is 00:09:42 If you ever happen, I don't get myself in trouble. This, if you say no, which is fine, it's your choice. Don't tell people. They're going to try to have me murdered. Not either
Starting point is 00:09:52 States world man If that stuff that came out last week Is right about the cartel stuff I hear the car they say the cartels Operating in 50 states right now Like all 50 So What's going on
Starting point is 00:10:04 Who is it? Forget the who Let me just tell you what Let's just say there are people calling around Saying Gosh, no They can't be to never repeat this You say no don't because I got offered
Starting point is 00:10:18 To buy up Yeah Because then we lose our ability get things done other than in the future. Here's my problem. Rather than just say, let's work with her. She's a great candidate. Because they don't own me.
Starting point is 00:10:32 And it pisses me off. Yeah, I said, I don't know what's about ownership. It's about control. I don't know what's about control. It's about being on the team. I guess that. They want to be on the team. They want you to be on their team.
Starting point is 00:10:51 but if they're pushing a globalist agenda I can't do that so what do they want what do they want me to do you want you to stay out for tutors but I'll tell you what I got off of you but you know it's a talking head is in that so the ask of me was
Starting point is 00:11:17 it's kind of funny so the ask I got today from back east was this is he has to stay between us was there any companies out there or something that could just put her on the payroll and give her to keep her out and I said what are you willing to do whatever we need to do
Starting point is 00:11:32 this is about defeating Trump and I think that's a bad bad thing for our country Desantis is not America First this is about the final death blow to Trump
Starting point is 00:11:46 and I don't think that's good for our country I love Trump I love Trump it's not good for our country Jeff it's not at the same time I'm not even sure Trump to me I don't know that you're going to do it I think what it really comes down to for a lot of people,
Starting point is 00:12:07 it's not really about like a controller agenda, it's about the ability to raise money to win, you know? If you really want to know all of what those, Paul takes quality money, I think. And even on their end, like, what makes them the most money? I know, these, all these consultants don't want, their payday to end. And I don't want to make a deal with these kind of people.
Starting point is 00:12:29 This is a hill worth dying on. I am not If they're going to steal the election To make me and our movement go away I'm not letting him do that I owe it to the people of Arizona Or To carry their torch and their voice
Starting point is 00:12:44 Or You don't go away This is the battles right now Jeff Why No, the battle is right now The battle is right now The battle is right now And we don't have time to pause
Starting point is 00:13:01 On this battlefield You're not What you can't scratch their back. It's not afraid of it. Yeah. You don't have anything to offer them. And they're sitting around people that have sucked off of me. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:13:18 It's just, it's, it's a, it's a back-scrushing club. That's all DC is. It's a big back expression. You're in no position to scratch him where he's back, and you've already made it known that if you get there, they're not going to scratch him when he's back. I don't scratch people's back. You know, I've been on the outs for a lot of people for a long time.
Starting point is 00:13:32 I've been scratched me. Where are we in two years? If they steal the election again. Listen to what you're saying. Why don't we do something about it? So that we that people can pick our... What can we do? I'm not willing to accept that.
Starting point is 00:13:46 And I'm going to be the biggest pain in these people's... Go back and tell them that. I'm running. And I'm going to be the biggest pain in their... I'm willing to tell them that. And they're going to have to kill me to stop me. That is incredible. and incredibly slimy.
Starting point is 00:14:10 The name of the guy who is making this offer is the chair of the Arizona Republican Party. I've talked to some legal experts. You're not sure if this is illegal. You're not sure if this is illegal? You're offering someone a bribe. If it's not illegal, it should be illegal. Some very powerful people want you to step aside. Some very powerful people do not want you in.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Now, what can they give you to step aside? Nothing. Money, jobs, nothing. No, we're not trying to stop you. A pause. Just a pause. This is in our own party. Now, let me ask you the mom question.
Starting point is 00:15:06 and I'll give that to you in 60 seconds. First, sometimes when the going gets rough financially, the best thing you can have somebody have is somebody on your side. You want somebody on your side. American financing, they're out there to help you dig your way out, and they are people that know how to do it. They're salary-based mortgage consultants at American financing, just waiting on the other end of the phone for you to call
Starting point is 00:15:32 so they can be that person to help dig you out. They've helped so many people in this audience just like you. Right now, there's great news in the market for homeowners. Interest rates have dropped and are now in the low fives, which is a lot lower than they were last year. If you've been buried in high-interest credit card debt, now's the time to break free. American financing can help you access the cash in your home to pay off that high-interest debt. Last year, they helped customers save an average of $854 a month. That's giving yourself a $10,000 raise.
Starting point is 00:16:02 It's a great way to start the new year. And if you start today, you might be able to delay two mortgage payments. American financing at 800906 2440, 800906 2440 or Americanfinancing.net. NMLS-12334, NMLS Consumer Access.org. APR for the rates in the 5, starts at 6.275% for well-qualified buyers. Call 800906 2440 for details about credit costs and terms. 10 seconds. Station ID. Okay, so let's ask the mom question of this, because who's responsible? He says it's the powers back east, some people back east. Now, I think I know who he's talking about because I have heard through the grapevine for the last few years about this kind of stuff, not this blatant, but this kind of stuff
Starting point is 00:16:59 happening because somebody's got a big huge treasure chest. Now, the mom question is motive, opportunity, and means. Let's ask mom, who has the motive to stop Carrie Lake from going into the Senate? Who has the opportunity to do it? And who has a giant Senate chest that has used it in, I think, ways that the average Republican would not be very proud of? and we have seen this treasure chest used against Republicans who are the only choice in some states. Who has the means? Check, I'm thinking of someone.
Starting point is 00:18:01 The opportunity, check again. And the motive. Giant check. Now, I have absolutely, I don't know who you came up with, but I have no idea. if that's true. That's why I don't want to say a name. Because I don't know. But we damn well better find out.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Every single person in this audience should be calling the GOP National Headquarters today and saying, what the hell is this? I'm sorry, I won't accept that you can't find, for some reason, we had somebody leak a SCOTUS. decision, put our Supreme Court justices lives at risk, and somehow or another, they couldn't, they couldn't get that one of the two people that had access to it. They couldn't figure out who it was. You've got like two to four people maximum that had that. You can't figure it out. Ha, I'm so sick and tired of this. Every single
Starting point is 00:19:20 person that writes a check to any GOP person, you should not fund the GOP until this is exposed and cleaned up. This is corruption at the highest levels. No, no, this is, this is, what did he say? This isn't about control. This is about ownership. I thought he said it wasn't about ownership. is about winning the election. No, he said it was about ownership. And then it's about being on the team. It's about being able to raise money. Right.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Yeah. Okay. She said it was power and control. And he said, no, it's just ownership. They want you on the team. So in other words, they want to own you. That's the problem in Washington. And I'm sorry, we cannot say we're the good guys if this stuff is happening in our own party.
Starting point is 00:20:18 this is the kind of stuff that we all say we're against. Are we against it in our own party? Because I am. I'm pretty sure you are too. Did you hear how slimy that guy was? It's not me. It's not me. I mean, I'm just the messenger.
Starting point is 00:20:37 I'm just saying I got a call from back. You know what happens when I get a call from back east? First of all, my gosh, was Lucy right about, you know, that Christmas is run by the syndicate back east? My gosh. So I got a call from back east. You know what I do with that call? I'm not doing that.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Do your own dirty business. Click. But see, he has ambitions. He wants to go higher. He wants to be one of the bigwigs that he can call out West someday and say, look, here's what I want you to do. Shame on you, Jeff DeWitt.
Starting point is 00:21:22 on you. Do you have, do you have no pride? Do you have no love of country, of decency? Do you not know what ethics are? I suggest you start looking them up, Jeff, because you're so far away from ethical. It's shocking. This is what Donald Trump is fighting. And let me tell you, This is exactly the kind of stuff that Nikki Haley allowed to happen in her own camp. She knew really bad organizations and funds that fund the Democratic Party in all kinds of ways, went to her and said, look, we'll fund you. And she said yes. This is not good by any stretch of the imagination.
Starting point is 00:22:33 and each of us should be, in fact, can you get the number to the national headquarters of the GOP so people can call and write today? Because you should call and write and say not another dime to any candidate, none. You think it's hard to raise money before? Now without, with this out, unless you clean house on this and show us who did it, you're done. If you haven't already, I want you to consider saving a life today, maybe even more than one. You can do that by donating to the ministry of pre-born. Abortions are coming to your own home now through medicine. They call it medicine, just like the Nazis called it medicine.
Starting point is 00:23:26 It's abortion drugs. And the abortion pill accounts for over 50% now of all abortions. It's 24-7. This is why the ministry of preborn is so important. They have rescued 280,000 babies from abortion, and every day they rescue another 200 more. When a woman considering an abortion hears her baby's heartbeat and sees the baby on ultrasound, the baby's chance at life is doubled. Preborn shares the free heartbeats and God's love for mom and child, and they need your help. This is something that will make us people of...
Starting point is 00:24:04 merit in the eyes of God. I truly believe that. And we need to be righteous people in his eyes. Preborn.com slash Beck, preborn.com slash Beck or keyword baby at pound 250. BlazTV.com slash Glenn. Use the promo code Glenn 30. You'll save 30 bucks off your subscription to Blaze TV. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
Starting point is 00:24:45 May I suggest that if you're upset at the GOP, in Arizona getting a call from back east and saying, look, let's make her go away. Offer, jobs, money, whatever it is. And them doing it, Jeff DeWitt in Arizona,
Starting point is 00:25:06 actually doing it, and he sounds so unbelievably slimy. I mean, it's like a movie. Yeah. It's a bad movie, too. Like a movie where, like, they wouldn't actually capture the subtleties as to how this is done.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Yeah. Like, it would be like two, this is too obvious. They never do it like this. And then they have it. They do it. Yeah. I would suggest you call the RNC and D.C.
Starting point is 00:25:30 202, 863, 8500 and just say, you know, here's what I'm going to say. I'm not giving a dime to the GOP, not a GOP candidate. Nothing. Not a dime will go to you until at least you tell me who originated that phone call from back east.
Starting point is 00:25:50 Now, I have my suspicions, but I don't know. But you thought it was hard to raise money before. You're doing this kind of backroom dealing? Nope. Not interested. And neither was Carrie Lake, apparently. No. She couldn't be bought for $10 million, $20 million, a billion.
Starting point is 00:26:12 I just want to make it really clear to the Arizona Republican Party. Carrie Lake can't be bought, but I, Pat Gray, can be. Wait. than a billion dollars. I'll take the 10. The 10 million to be fine. And you will stay out of the Arizona race? And I'll stay completely out of the race.
Starting point is 00:26:29 I can either run or not run, depending on what you want, for the 10 million. Run as a Democrat. I honestly, it's an independent. Right. Honestly, I think for a billion dollars, I would run or not run, whichever you prefer. But I'm going to use maybe half of that money just to destroy you. I mean, yeah. Will you give me the money to destroy you?
Starting point is 00:26:55 Okay. Yeah, I'll take that. I'm basically like a live golfer. I'll take it and do whatever the hell you want. You want me to golf in Saudi Arabia? What do you need? What do you need from me? You let me know for a billion dollars.
Starting point is 00:27:07 So I give credit to Carrie Lake for... So we have established for the audience that we're all horrors. Right. We're just haggling overpriced. Over price. Everyone's got the price. Ours probably cheaper than you might expect. Really bad, really bad. And I think it's probably not illegal though, right?
Starting point is 00:27:27 I don't think it is. Off air. It's sleazy. But is it legal? It should be illegal. Like if our own Pat Gray was going to run for, he decided he wants to be. Pat, you want to run for Senate in Texas. And Blaze media came to you and said, Pat, we really love Pat Gray on leash.
Starting point is 00:27:44 We don't want that to stop. That's a business interest. We'll double your salary so you don't run. That's a business interest. Right. Well, I think that's what he's saying. Right? He's saying, look, because she is bringing up the idea, well, you want to stop Maga and you want to stop these things that are good for country. And I'm sure that's how she sees it. But like someone else might see it as, well, we think you're going to not win and we want to run a candidate that will win. So what can we do to make you not wrong? You know what's weird? It always happens in the Senate this way. Instead of backing the candidate fully that the people have chosen, there's always somebody, I don't remember, who has the strings of that fund, always says, you know what? I'm going to do. I'm going to do. I'm. going to pour money into somebody so we have a Democrat instead of a Republican.
Starting point is 00:28:27 Get behind the people. Get behind the person that the people choose. Yeah. The GOP shows her. Right. Okay. You may not like it, but that's your job. Now get the person that the people have chosen elected. And you may not be able to do that, but it's your job.
Starting point is 00:28:47 Spend the money. Get behind. I mean, this is this is where it is so unseemly to me. This is the elitist saying, we know better than the people of Arizona. Now, people all over the country might say, well, she's not going to win.
Starting point is 00:29:07 People in Arizona say, well, she's not going to win. It doesn't matter. She went through the process. She's the candidate the people chose. And they should be supportive of that. Exactly right. And they're not. But I mean, you know, it's the question of legality is sort of on the side here, right? I don't think it's illegal. I don't think. I don't think. I mean, it should be.
Starting point is 00:29:27 It feels that way. And certainly the way it was done. It was done in a way like that you'd see in a lifetime movie. Yeah. Like if there was a lifetime movie about bribery in the Senate, it was that clumsy. Yeah. So like, it's shocking in that way. No. I mean, I think it's worse than that. I think it is. I think it is, I think it was as bad as a Hallmark Christmas movie. look, I can get you a job at the Keebler Elf place. Right. Just shut your cookie place down. That's all I'm asking.
Starting point is 00:29:55 You'll make so much money. No, I'm not going to do it. I'm going to keep my cookie company right here on Main Street. And Carrie Lake is played by Candice Cameron Burray. Right? That's how that plays out. I do think that that's possible. It's a strange, you really wouldn't, we all know stuff like this happens in Washington.
Starting point is 00:30:14 We all know this stuff happens, but I'm surprised that it's that. over. Like, whatever you do, don't say anything about this news lady who's been on TV exposing stories for decades. Whatever you do, don't expose this story. It's so clobisy. I want to make it very clear and on the record, it's not me. I'm just carrying the water for someone else. I have no idea what I'm even saying to you right now. I'd say it's ham-handed, but that's an insult to all pork products. It really is. It's so pathetic. It's so bad. But entertaining, I will say entertaining. And you're right, Glenn.
Starting point is 00:30:51 Like, this stuff has to be called out. Like, how can this be happening? It's so pathetic. You know, this is what, you know, this is what conservatives have been saying for a long time about the threat to our democracy, the threat to our republic, that there are elitists and big money that are just pulling all the strings. get what they want because too many people are corrupt and they'll do whatever the system tells them to do. Here's the prime number one textbook example of somebody coming in. Now, are the Democrats doing this? Yes. Worse. Worse. But this is the problem with our republic. The people have spoken. Let it play out. I mean, I don't know if you guys saw the story today about Michelle
Starting point is 00:31:47 Obama from the New York Post? Yeah, it's a column, correct? It's a column, yes, because it's not actually news. But let me see if I can find this. Michelle Obama, okay, this is a sick political environment, semi-VIP's itch to get you to write what they want. Then for their own political purpose, they tell you they doubt what you wrote. These professional doubters have their political motives.
Starting point is 00:32:14 However, some info now and then, comes from, I'm told, credible sources, few have access to and usually not meant for the noses of the media. Whatever that means. What's told is Hillary and husband are now toxic. Nicky, the old guard will pee on her. And the sore loser laws prohibit candidates from running in another party after they lose their own party. Reportedly, I'm being told, Obama has pulled donors. His plan, around May, Biden announces he's not running. The so-called plot that comes to the August convention is that Michelle will get nominated. Former First Lady Michelle Obama may be planning to get in the 2024 presidential race,
Starting point is 00:33:02 according to post-columnist Cindy Adams. Next step, Hunter's father, the temp, drops out just before that convention. For now, he still play acts like he's a real candidate because he would become a lame duck if he does it now. Understand this is the squalid squad that is responsible for much of screwed up Congress. Their mishmash bodes badly for our future. Moderates cannot even override the divisiveness. What this nation needs now is a centrist, a strong, tough leader of the majority mass of independent voters. D.C. is now so screwed up that it bodes badly for the country. Fears and thoughts of the dysfunction are not unwarranted. Voters have massive
Starting point is 00:33:45 blame on both sides. Republicans split between three groups. They can't even unify when it comes to pointing a damp Biden into the direction of the John, and moderates cannot override anything. The U.S. needs a centrist, strong, tough, leader, the independent voter mass that comprises the majority. And Mrs. Obama's team has already sent a survey to the heavy-duty donors asking how they'd feel about her as a candidate. The process has begun. A VIP doctor in charge of a major hospital called me and said, you must do something. The system is broken.
Starting point is 00:34:22 There also exists the new group of no labels. The assumption is that they name some appealing candidate after March 15th, whom they are now quietly vetting. Mid-February, we should begin hearing murmurs. We don't have that as a story that is coming again through the column. but that's exactly Yeah, it's Cindy Adams too They're gossip columnist
Starting point is 00:34:48 Yeah So I mean she may be right on this She may have some inside source But I mean I You don't know Exactly take this to the bank No but it's not it's I think that there are
Starting point is 00:34:59 We know for a fact Through all sorts of reporting That they are There is at least enough bubbling Under the surface That they are planning for Some sort of plan B And I have her May
Starting point is 00:35:12 I've heard May or August several times where they would swoop in if his poll numbers stay as bad as they are. Or actually, I think, get worse. I think if they stay where they are right now, probably he's not going anywhere unless some health problem pops up. But if they get worse, I mean, if Donald Trump is winning this by, let's say, I don't know, eight, nine points routinely in polls, you've got to think that maybe they do pull the plug on this. And they don't want Gavin Newsom. Yeah, because his track record in California isn't conducive with winning a national election. He's driven that state into the ground. So Michelle Obama makes a lot of sense if they're going to make a change.
Starting point is 00:35:57 She's popular for some reason. I don't know why. I don't know how that happened. It's so untested too. The second she gets up in front of the American people, there's no reason to believe these appropriations to hold. Why does she have to get in front of the American people? I mean, look, she's going to be running for president. United States, she's going to have to get in front of the American people at some level.
Starting point is 00:36:15 Yeah. I mean, look, people still had opinions on Biden. I mean, it's going to be hard. It would be hard. But it's possible. I am not going on that stage with a man who is that violent. Oh, she might not debate. Oh, that's true. She'll do that.
Starting point is 00:36:28 But still, she's going to make speeches. She's going to say stupid stuff. She did it in the campaign. But I don't know. Maybe it would hold. Maybe it would hold. I will say the only two possibilities for this job, in my mind, are Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris. It would be really
Starting point is 00:36:44 hard for them to overpass Kamala Harris. If they did it with Michelle Obama, they could justify it. They have to though. They know that Kamala, she can't win. I don't think she can win. Look, I think you're right. She's terrible. Yeah, she's terrible. There's a new book out. There's a new book
Starting point is 00:37:00 out called Amateur Hour. Kamala Harris in the White House. And it's all about her bullying, who she really is, and that the president knows she cannot be the president. And, you know, so they're already seeding this field. So, all right.
Starting point is 00:37:17 All right. Pack Ray from Packeray Unleash, thank you so much. Again, if you would like him to run or not run for Senate in Arizona or any state. Or not. Okay, good. For how much again? $10 million. $10 million.
Starting point is 00:37:29 I'll tell you what is your price? I'll do it for nine. I'll do it for eight. How about if you run for nine and I'll not run for eight? Does that work out? All right. That's good. All right.
Starting point is 00:37:40 My price, by the way, I'm a high class hooker. I'll do it for a billion. I'll do it for a billion. But I'm going to use that money to destroy you. That's a terrible deal. I mean, look, we're just better at negotiating than you. All right. I'm not going to tell them I'm going to use the money to destroy them.
Starting point is 00:37:56 You just did. You just did. You're on the air. They're not listening. Relief factor sleep. Starting point is 00:39:13 60% of the vans on Amazon come to vendors independent, like Sac Magic. Hello, here Camille, the Sac Magic. Our compresses chode-fraud are fabriced here even in Quebec,
Starting point is 00:39:32 with the tissue that we have chained to have been to sagnet. Our presence on Amazon enlarge our base of clientele
Starting point is 00:39:39 to the world entire. SacMag, is the compress that all the world prefer. At partire of this,
Starting point is 00:39:44 we're we're great. We're like the other on Amazon. C. Isn't it amazing?
Starting point is 00:39:59 You know, notice that both in Iowa and New Hampshire, the news media was able to count everything in one night. Everybody was able to go on one night just to vote. It's amazing how that works. It didn't work in 2020. Remember the Democrats, they could, I don't know if they ever really figured out who won Iowa in 2020. They just kind of gave up and then we're like, let's just delete the state next time. Just crazy. It's just amazing.
Starting point is 00:40:27 But this year went pretty smoothly. Yeah. In both cases. Now, it's a lot easier for it to run smoothly when you have double-digit margins. It makes it a lot easier. Oh, yeah. We don't know. Maybe there were 500 votes that were switched from one place to the other and like some
Starting point is 00:40:42 controversy, but like it doesn't matter because you get, but you get a 10 point margin. I will tell you that it was pretty amazing because I, for some reason, the only channel I could get was CNN. I mean, I'm sorry, no, CBS, which I didn't even know was still on the air. but I'm watching CBS and they come out and they're like, we're going to, we're going to go to, you know, Fipper McGiggle down at the GOP and Trump rally. Fibber? What's going on? I love Fibber McKill. And he said, well, I ought to tell you, this is the first report.
Starting point is 00:41:20 I have to tell you, being at a Trump rally, you see all kinds of things. I just saw discredited scandal-ridden Santos, the congressman from New York, he just was here and he may even be breaking his terms of parole. Oh no. But quote,
Starting point is 00:41:42 those are the kind of people you see show up at a Trump rally. And then just normal in the normal course of conversation. Oh, yeah. And then they came back to Fibber McGigle later and Fibber is like, you know, I had a chance to talk to Santos, but these again are the kind of people that you find at a Trump rally. It was so disingenuous, so.
Starting point is 00:42:06 I didn't giggle. What's sad is Fibber McGiggle? If you can't trust Fibber McGiggle, who can you trust? And the answer is absolutely not one. Just shameless. Oh my gosh, that's me. Time to talk to him. Hello, my name is Glenn Beck.
Starting point is 00:43:21 I'm the host of this lovely program, along with my. My crazy sidekick. Hey! Stubery Gear! Hi! Who is a producer and a writer and really not much help on this show, but... No! He does...
Starting point is 00:43:37 Don't even like the show! So he's just like you. Welcome to the program. We're going to talk a little bit about border, the border and what's happening in Texas. And who is being a helper on the border? Really. Who's... Because they're so great.
Starting point is 00:43:55 So great. Oh, wait a minute. Hang on another plane full of illegal's is leaving Texas. Is it a Boeing plane? It's a just let me hear if I see it. Yeah, it's trying to start and get that Boeing plane there. Give it more gas. All right. Anyway, we'll get into all of that and more here in the next few minutes. I'm a big fan of the free market and I think people who founded this country understood that the best way to exist in a society was to strive toward a balance of freedom and moral responsibility. I try to use my freedom wisely. I try not to take it for granted. I, for one, like if I were, you know, let's say in charge of the GOP in Arizona,
Starting point is 00:44:42 and I got a call from back east, I wouldn't try to bribe a candidate. You know, I wouldn't say, hey, listen, I want to have a conversation and this never happened. And here's a bag full of cash and jobs. what do you say you take those and just kind of disappear for a while? I don't know. I don't think I'd do that. But some do choose that. Now, Patriot Mobile, I don't think any of the people would do that either because their mission statement as a company is to passionately defend our God-given constitutional rights and freedom and to glorify God always.
Starting point is 00:45:17 They are the first American, Christian, conservative mobile phone company. Why aren't you with them yet? going to save you money. They're going to give you exactly the same coverage because they're on the same cell towers as everybody else. And they have affordable plans for your budget. Excellent coverage. Top notch U.S.-based customer service. Just call patriotmobile.com slash back or call 972 Patriot. 972 Patriot or Patriotmobile.com slash Beck. Is that plane taken off yet? I don't. No. Those Boeing planes are they're really good they're really good and i'm i think everybody at boeing should be very very happy
Starting point is 00:46:03 um anyway uh todd bensman is with us he is the author of overrun yeah it's a it's a it's a book about the border uh he's also with the center for immigration studies senior fellow we had him on uh what a couple of weeks ago and i asked him do you have you heard because we had just seen evidence that the united nations doctors without borders and a couple of other organizations were actually printing maps and and giving instructions out, printed instructions, how to get to the United States from Central and South America. And I thought this was just incredibly awful. The Red Cross was involved.
Starting point is 00:46:46 He said, I have something on that. He's back to tell us about it now. Todd, how are you? I'm doing great. Thank you. And yes, I do have a, I have a, I have a piece out in the New York Post yesterday and a longer version of it at c.is.org. The United Nations has been very accommodating on this question of how they are assisting,
Starting point is 00:47:14 aiding, and abetting the mass migration crisis to our southern border by publishing their budget for it. They just published it on December 29th. It's an open record. It's online. I've got links to it in these pieces, and I analyze it. It's a 130-page document that is for 2024. It's what they're going to give in 2024. They envision, in short, $1.6 billion in handouts from our southern border south
Starting point is 00:47:51 all the way to the cone of South America. Okay. Wait, 1.6 billion just in 2024? Just for 2024. Because I know in 2022 they started at half a billion. And then they went down a little bit to 450 million in 2023. In 2024, they're going to what? 1.6 billion because obviously demand is higher. You've got policies at the border that are attracting, you know, millions of,
Starting point is 00:48:24 people from all over the world, so they've got to accommodate that. And the $1.6 billion includes, for example, $327 million for cash debit cards and cash handouts along the way. That'll be given to immigrants deemed especially vulnerable, but I've met a lot of them who have these debit cards. they'll pose for me for photos and videos with their debit cards. And there's nothing particularly vulnerable about any of them. I mean, a lot of them are full-grown men, young men. Some of them are families, et cetera. And what do they use these debit cards for?
Starting point is 00:49:12 You can use it for food or anything you want. You can go into a store in the area. These are going to be, this is called cash-based assistance. It'll be given to about 624,000 people in 2024, according to their budget document. They'll also be very helpfully providing what they call humanitarian transportation assistance. This is to help them cross borders. They know that most of these folks are illegal, that they are unauthorized, that they're crossing borders without permission, that they're in-connor. without documents, but they don't care.
Starting point is 00:49:55 They're still going to give humanitarian transportation for that purpose, including all the way to the U.S. border. They'll be passing out tens of millions of dollars in food, in shelter and rental assistance vouchers for something they call protection to, to help ensure that, you know, the cartels can't get a hold of them, that they can pass fairly safely through all of these countries. They want to help in total for 2024,
Starting point is 00:50:34 3 million illegal immigrants as they cross in 15 different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. And they lay it all out. And they also are using to help. them divvy out all of this aid 248 NGOs. They're all named in the document. I offer in my piece a link to their to the list of who they all are and they also even go so far as to provide a very helpful interactive public tool where you can search around and pick out whichever NGO seems interesting to you and you can see what they're doing and how much money they
Starting point is 00:51:21 get and what they're doing down there. And they're U.S. NGOs, their international NGOs. 248 of them. 15 U.N. agencies are involved in the handouts. They increase the number of NGOs by 20 this year. So they're really flocking in to get a piece of this. So how much is the United States, the taxpayer, giving for this particular project without us even being asked or known about it?
Starting point is 00:51:54 Well, the United Nations is, I mean, I'm sorry, the United States is the UN's biggest donor every year. We give money to them through the State Department, through Congress, through the White House. We provide, you know, billions of dollars to the UN. To fund this one, the UN this year is actually changing their model. They're going to a direct directly to the consumer asking for individual donations, you know, like a political campaign. You know, we're looking for 20 bucks here and there to raise, you know, their billions of dollars to help globally all of this,
Starting point is 00:52:40 including the ones that are coming to our southern border. So, okay, so that's in 2024. But you point out in your article that, we already have paid, as they paid in last two years, 765 million, I'm sorry, in 2022, we gave 391 million. So we're paying for at least half of this. Right. It gets very opaque, Glenn, about how the money flows through the UN. Right. You're not going to be. able to put a FOIA in to figure out exactly which of our U.S. dollars went to what programs.
Starting point is 00:53:30 You can't really get a handle on this anywhere. I mean, I know congressional offices that have been studying this for a couple of years now and they can't really get a handle on exactly how the money flows. But, you know, we can, I think, reasonably assume that if the U.S. is providing most of this, the UN's annual budget that, you know, most of this money that's getting spent down there is coming from the U.S. Treasury. Okay, can you help me out on another story today that I, I find amazing. By the way, find all of that information from Todd Benzman, and you can find it on, the article is called United Nations to hand out hundreds of millions.
Starting point is 00:54:22 in cash to U.S.-bound immigrants in 2023. That's part one. Part two is also found at c.is.org. CIS.org. Again, you have Doctors Without Borders. You have the Red Cross. And as he said, hundreds of NGOs. What are we doing? Why would you give to the Red Cross?
Starting point is 00:54:46 Why would you give to Doctors Without Borders if this is what they're doing? No, thank you. I don't want them handing out maps to show people how to get here to America. No, thank you. Anyway, there's another story out that we're asking ourselves, gee, how did these drug cartels get their hands on American military weapons? You can't buy these on the market. You know, there's no gun show loophole for cartels. to get a shoulder fire rocket.
Starting point is 00:55:23 How do you suppose these cartels are getting all these American military items? So I've done a lot of reporting on the armaments of cartels and how they get them. The kind of weaponry that you're talking about is most likely coming from depots in Central America that are filled with arms that were provided, you know, usually on a secondary market or, you know, that were provided by the United States over the decades. A lot of it's older stuff, but it's, you know, since American governments still have these weapons and also the Mexican army has these weapons that we give them. And there is, there is some, there is some pretty good reporting that Mexican soldiers and officers that who are corrupt are selling weapons out of their own
Starting point is 00:56:29 depots to the cartels. So that's two ways. But listen, they have weapons from all over the world. They've got Israeli weapons, Galil machine guns, the Israeli Galil, which is a fabulous weapon. but they also have, you know, weapons from China. They have hand grenades from China. They've got lots of, they have mines. They have, and they make their own weapons, too.
Starting point is 00:57:06 They make tanks. They build their own tanks. They build their own tanks out of, yeah. Is there any good news on the border? Is there anything that is changing anything that is helping? anything that is helping anything? Well, I just published a piece about two or three days ago, also in the New York Post, where the Mexican government has decided all of a sudden, after shuttle diplomacy with the Biden administration,
Starting point is 00:57:40 to clear out thousands and thousands of migrants, rounding them up and putting them on buses and airbus. planes from our border and shipping them down to their southern border with Guatemala and holding them there. Those those scenes that we saw just a few weeks ago of 10 and 12 and 15,000 turning themselves in over our border every single day. Those are those are over now, but it's for, I believe, a political reason for the Biden administration for the campaign. They have the Mexicans doing a lot down there all of a sudden that they never did. For example, they shut down all the freight trains to migrants and they're blocking and guarding the depots. They are bulldozing migrant camps and really clearing them out. Now, the numbers are still at 5, 6, and 7,000 a day, which is just catastrophic.
Starting point is 00:58:45 but those are being less covered in the media. Like when did you see, when was the last time you saw Fox News drones down there? I mean, everybody's kind of gone away in January. That really is the policy objective of this administration. Singular policy objective of the administration is to just get rid of the big congregations that make for good media to just get rid of the clumps and break them up. and so that nobody sees them.
Starting point is 00:59:16 I don't know what Mexico is getting for all this. They've asked for $20 billion. I'm going to guess that they're getting some of that or that they will soon get some of that. There's a lot of diplomacy still going on high level between Mexico and the Biden administration. But don't be fooled by it. Those people are down there. They're coming one way or another. They're going to be coming.
Starting point is 00:59:40 Todd, thank you so much. I appreciate all your hard work on this. You can find his stories at c.org or the New York Post. You can find the latest story, United Nations, stand out hundreds of millions in cash to U.S.-bound immigrants. Thank you. We'll continue this conversation, and we're also going to talk to the head of the Texas Department of,
Starting point is 01:00:03 what is it? He is the lieutenant of the Texas Department of Public Safety. He's down on the border, and he's going to tell us what Texas is to. doing in just a few minutes. Texas lawmen are standing lockjawed and toe to toe with the bandits that have no reverence for the law whatsoever. But in this Western, we're not, we're not waiting for the feds to come in. The federal government are the bandits. Supreme Court just voted five to four enabling Joe Biden's goons to continue to let massive waves of illegals invade our country. On tonight's Wednesday night special, I have Texas lieutenant governor, Dan Patrick, in studio. Where does all this end up?
Starting point is 01:02:03 Where does, what does Texas have up their sleeves in this Wild West showdown? You'll hear directly from the Texas government tonight, as they join me in the Mercury studios for my Blaze TV show at 9 p.m. Eastern 8 Central. I previously called this an invasion. It is. And if Texas fails, so does the entire country. Fully funded, well-organized, globalist plan to move massive amounts of people all over the world. Why?
Starting point is 01:02:36 Well, we just told you about the United Nations and the Red Cross and smaller NGOs right here in the United States. Tonight, I'll show you all the documents. Their hand-delivered maps they give out in South America and what happens when they arrive at the border. It's infuriating. It is shocking. And everything hinges on the next move between Texas and the U.S. government. Whomever wins will determine whether this country remains the one that you and I grew up in or not. Don't miss tonight. A Wednesday night special 9 p.m. Eastern on Blaze TV, 9.30 Eastern on my YouTube channel,

Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. we're hoping the head of the Department of Public Safety is going to be joining us from Texas here.
Starting point is 01:05:38 Talk to us a little bit about what they did yesterday. They doubled down. Texas. Ken Paxton came out and said, we're going to protect the sovereignty of Texas. Well within the law, too. Yeah. It's not defying any orders that they just can't do anything if the federal government snips the wire. But the Supreme Court didn't say anything about Texas.
Starting point is 01:06:01 It said, you know, everything about the feds. They can go in and cut it. Okay, go for it. There's a couple of things that we should talk about in the meantime. One, Donald Trump won handily last night. It was interesting to see how the polls started to come out. And they always say, look, there are these counties. counties that haven't yet come in and they're going to be heavy Haley or they're going to be
Starting point is 01:06:30 heavy, you know, Trump. It didn't say that CBS, which is the only, for some reason, the only thing I could get yesterday was, uh, were you in prison? I was trapped. I really was trapped. Don't ask me, but I was trapped. And, uh, so I'm watching it on CBS. And it says basically, you know, it's, it's pretty close to a tie. She's within four or five points. Well, no, that, that's not what it was. I mean, she was that close. for a while in the reported results. But if it was really four to five points, there's no way they call.
Starting point is 01:07:00 And I will say this. They didn't call it. Oh, they CBS didn't? CBS did not call it at that. Almost everybody did call it immediately, which is quite the statement. Honestly, I was surprised they didn't drag the drama out a little bit longer. Well, no.
Starting point is 01:07:13 They wanted to make sure that Haley looked like a victor that was only five points away. That's not, that's not it was. Or I mean, that Trump was a victor, but Haley was right on his tail. Yeah, but why would they announce, Why would they call the race for Trump immediately? You could keep it open. They call it for Trump immediately, because you want that narrow spread.
Starting point is 01:07:31 You want people to see it at that narrow spread and then go away. Okay. Well, maybe that's true. I mean, to me, it just seemed like it wasn't even a contest because the second the polls closed, they were like, okay, we got it, call it. You know, like that's when they have information like that, what they know is it's a blowout. It's not a five point race. They know it's not a five point race. I know that.
Starting point is 01:07:51 So CBS might have been just. Yeah, they were, I mean, they're all calling it. That's the number you see. And you're like, oh, wow, she did a lot better. No, still 11 points away. All right. We have the, we have our guest on. He's made it on, thank God.
Starting point is 01:08:07 It's Lieutenant Chris Oliveras. He is with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Lieutenant, welcome to the program. Yesterday, Texas kind of just doubled down. Did we not? Absolutely. Thank you for having me on, Glenn. So yes, you know, great to be with you and, of course, your listeners.
Starting point is 01:08:26 So as you mentioned, yes, you know, state of Texas, you know, we're not backing down. You know, Governor Abbott made it very clear that the fight is not over with this whole situation at Shelby Park and Eagle Pass. I just got back from Eagle Pass last night to kind of get a rundown of what's happening and what's going to take place with this whole Supreme Court decision. And nothing has changed, at least on our end, with DPS and National Guard. We're still continuing with operations at Shelby Park. we still have restricted access to border patrol in that area. And in fact, you know, National Guard is installing more barriers, more Constantino wire, more fencing along the river to make it more challenging and try to discourage
Starting point is 01:09:05 a legal border crossing. So Texas is not backing down, and we appreciate the support from everyone in Texas, you know, as far as supporting what we're doing and what we've been doing for the last three years with border operations. So we're very thankful for that. They claim that you are, I love this, that you're making it more difficult for them to do their job. But I'm not sure what their job is if, you know, razor wire and fencing, which is built to discourage people from coming across the water. I'm not sure what their job is.
Starting point is 01:09:39 How is this, holding them back from doing their job? Well, it's all on a narrative. You know, Glenn, really, I mean, they're just trying to portray, and I say they, I'm talking about the federal government and even some of those that have been critical of Texas, really trying to create this divide between, you know, federal agencies and the state, which, you know, trying to create some type of conflict that's not, that's nonexistent. You know, we still work great with Border Patrol. All the rank and file agents, the relationship has not changed.
Starting point is 01:10:09 But it does not make their job difficult, for one, because we have soldiers, we have state troopers, that are at that park that are working along the river, they can respond to situations. And if they come across people, you know, any type of illegal immigrants, whether it be a family or child, they still turn them over to Border Patrol. So Border Patrol is still able to respond and process those individuals. We want to focus on those single adults that we are arresting right now for criminal trespass. But this whole concept that's going to make their job more difficult, I mean, that's inaccurate. I mean, we look back in December, a legal pass, we have the largest influx of a little
Starting point is 01:10:45 immigration that we've ever experienced in last three years, every single border patrol agent in that sector was pulled from the field to process people. You had secondary checkpoints, border patrol checkpoints that were shut down because those agents were used to process. So now you have this free-for-all for all the criminal activity for human smugglers to take place. So now by us actually taking over this area, it allows those agents to get back to the field to focus on that criminal work that they like that they want to do they don't want to do administrative work they want to be out the field uh i want to make sure that we're not passing on any disinformation but i i am surprised at our federal government for not tracking this down there is a video that is going around and let me
Starting point is 01:11:29 play it cut four please if you are smart enough you will know who i am but you are really not smart enough to know who i am but soon you're going to know who i am very very okay You're going to know who I am. Now, there is, there's all kinds of things going around that say that this guy was in Guantanamo for, I think, 11 years and was released. However, we're looking at current pictures of the guy and he's a lot older than this guy appears to be. But I don't know. Has anybody run facial recognition on this guy? You know, I saw that video circulate on social media.
Starting point is 01:12:12 And I think that really shows it's a clear example of the threats that are coming across our border, especially when someone is actually saying that you're going to know who I am soon. Those are the type of threats that we worry about. And that's the type of threats that are coming across the border right now that are exploiting the current situation, but yet our own federal government is not doing nothing to stop it. And, of course, when Texas steps up, you know, we're criticized for what we're doing because we want to stop that. We want to stop those public safety and national security threats. Just today, Border Patrol released that there was over 96,000 known gotaways since October 1st for this fiscal year.
Starting point is 01:12:56 Those are individuals that have made it into the country right now. And we don't know where they're at, what their intentions are. And when you hear something like that from that individual on that video, you can only imagine now the type of people that are in the country right now that have been able to get away. and that possibly want to cause harm to our country. The threat is here. I've said that, you know, numerous times, the threat's already here.
Starting point is 01:13:18 And that's why it's so important to have border security. But again, it all goes back to the policies and the fact that there is no consequences in place to discourage illegal border crossings. Well, I just find it hard to believe that our federal government has a video. We know they can run facial recognition. If he's in a database, if he's a known terrorist,
Starting point is 01:13:39 why we aren't talking about that, why the public isn't being told who he is and to keep your eye out for this. It just kind of, you know, again, goes under the wire and nobody seems to care about it. And, you know, we have enough problems. We don't need a terrorist attack on our shores as well. You're right.
Starting point is 01:14:01 That's the last thing we need, right? I mean, of course, but now with this whole situation for the last three years and the number of people that have made into the country undetected, those threats are real. I mean, that's a real, that's a clear reality of the situation. And it does go back to what the federal government has failed to do. And they could have changed this.
Starting point is 01:14:18 They can't change this, but they still refuse to do that. And when you see videos like that circulating, they know the threat is here. They know those type of threats are coming across. But as you mentioned, has anything been done to identify this individual? Probably not. And we probably won't know now maybe days, weeks later, when they actually find out this individual was probably, you know, wanted or maybe on the terror screening database. But by that time, it's too late. And that's
Starting point is 01:14:43 happened in many cases. So that's why it all goes back to having a proper vetting process in place, but that's not being done right now because the agents are just overwhelmed. Resources are strained. And that's why you see this constant flow of people coming across the border unvetted. Lieutenant Chris Oliveras, he is with the Texas Department of Public Safety. He's a spokesperson person and bringing us the news that Texas is not standing down and not sitting down. Thank you so much, Lieutenant. I appreciate everything you guys do. Appreciate you and the support.
Starting point is 01:15:17 Thank you. You got it. Bye-bye. It's just, it's, it's, it's beyond unbelievable to me. It's just, it's just beyond the realm of believability that we can, have this kind of video and the federal government hasn't said anything about it. The federal government is not coming out and saying, hey, he's a known terrorist beyond the watch for this guy.
Starting point is 01:15:54 They haven't said anything. And this is the reason for, is it disinformation? Yeah, disinformation. Which one is the one that you know you're telling? a lie. That's misinformation, right? I think it's, I think it's mis- definitions in front of me because we talked about it so many times. So disinformation is you're just passing something on,
Starting point is 01:16:18 you don't, you don't have a nefarious, and that's what's happening. I don't know if anybody has a nefarious reason for putting this out. He does look like that guy. My team, you know, and who are we to say? My team, we look at it and we're like, I'm not sure if that's the same guy. He looks older.
Starting point is 01:16:37 now than that. But it could be. But where's our federal government? Where is anyone who is actually paying attention to the things people care about? Why do we keep talking about how MAGA is so extreme? Really? Is it MAGA that is extreme? The one that's just saying, hey, I'd like some law and order.
Starting point is 01:16:59 I'd like to make sure that terrorists aren't coming into our country. I'd like to make sure that, you know, we're not enabling people to rape women over and over and over again as they're coming here. One reason why there's not so many women and children? Yeah, because there's a lot of men there. Some of them nefarious. And you have to go through the cartels. You want to send your wife?
Starting point is 01:17:21 You want to send your daughter? I don't. God only knows what happens to them. So misinformation is false or inaccurate information spread without harmful intent. Disinformation is false information spread with the intention to deceive. So that is like you know it's false. You're spreading it to deceive.
Starting point is 01:17:43 Malinformation is information that is based on reality, but is still used to inflict harm on a person or organization or country or whatever. So I think you were talking about is disinformation, which is an actual straight out lie or malinformation, which is somewhat true, but treated in the same way. So in my day, we used to just have lies.
Starting point is 01:18:08 Okay, we had lies. Oh, you old-timey guy. Yeah, yeah. And we had lies of omission and commission, meaning you knew what you were doing and you lied about it. Or you just didn't say anything, but that was a lie because you knew what the truth was. I think, you know, I'm an old-timer, sure,
Starting point is 01:18:29 but I'm pretty comfortable with just using lies or propaganda. Hmm? Whitchiboyle propaganda down, and it is lies. Back in just a minute. Very last words you ever want to hear at the pharmacy is, sorry, we don't have any of that. There's a shortage. What?
Starting point is 01:18:49 I've never heard that before my life until, like, the last couple of years. Now all of a sudden I'm here, there's what? A shortage? What did? Do I live in Somalia suddenly? Starting point is 01:20:17 You're listening to the Glenn Beck program. When you were little, you've been braced in class of recreat, always in trying to negotiate, to exchange these cards of hockey, the bonhomes, some of the collations. You know that each thing has a little.
Starting point is 01:20:39 value, well before to have counted. And from, and the things have not really
Starting point is 01:20:43 changed. Negoti TITT's TED you can't to renewing with your instinct of
Starting point is 01:20:47 negotiation. With without operation gratuit, no amount minimum and any money
Starting point is 01:20:52 and you have done for negotiate, and the appellate T TD is made for you
Starting point is 01:20:57 help you need to now. We're playing a little game off air. How do you, how do liberals your liberal friends, how do they answer questions? There's a great column in the Washington Examiner that lays out six questions that we should ask our liberal friends. And let me go through them quickly. How exactly does Donald Trump pose a threat to democracy?
Starting point is 01:21:36 Why specifically, not generalities, why specifically do you hate Donald Trump? Can you name three accomplishments of the Biden administration? And then there's subsections to that one I want to get into. And do you honestly believe Biden is mentally competent and Kamala Harris should be the president? Should be the president? Well, she's going to be the president if, I mean. If he steps down. if he steps down and if he's just deemed incompetent, which I think would probably.
Starting point is 01:22:12 But you could get a two for one on that call, maybe. We've been saying this for years. And Joe just keeps chugging. Slower and slower, but he keeps chugging. Yeah, he keeps chugging. I mean, honestly, this would be so easy for them if they had a really good vice president. They could step in. It would be so easy.
Starting point is 01:22:31 It would be cake, right? But instead, they picked such a terrible, terrible VP. that they are stuck with Joe Biden at this point. And you know, it's funny is this is supposed to help African Americans and women. You just pick somebody because they're black and a woman and they're completely unqualified. And that's supposed to make America feel good. I mean, how about we just pick somebody who is qualified? You know?
Starting point is 01:22:57 Interesting approach. That's kind of a crazy thing. Proof positive, you think your voice doesn't matter. We had a caller from Maine yesterday who told us what was going on on our northern border. We decided to look into it. Oh, this is worth talking about. You ever think your voice doesn't matter? It does prove positive in 60 seconds.
Starting point is 01:24:11 Out of the ashes of the 9-11 tragedy, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation has risen to the challenge of supporting Americans' heroes and their families. They made a solemn promise back then to ensure that we never forget heroes like the U.S. Army, specialist Michael Hook. Michael was killed in Iraq when his helicopter was shot down, left behind a pregnant fiancé. And thanks to people like you, Tunnel to Towers swept in, paid off the mortgage to their home, bringing love and stability to a chaotic and tragic situation. The foundation works to help out Gold Star families as well as our nation's most catastrophically injured heroes and veterans who are dealing with homelessness. Never forget 9-11 or the sacrifices our heroes have made for us. Go to T2T.org. We had a call yesterday who was reporting something that he had read in the main wire. The editor-in-chief and investigative reporter is Steve Robinson.
Starting point is 01:25:31 He has been doing a lot of work at the Mainwire.com. And he has been trying to cover the politics and everything else that's going on. But one of the things that he has really uncovered and has been on for the people of Maine is how Maine has been overrun by unlicensed Chinese-Chinese. operated grow sites. Now, these grow sites are growing marijuana. They're unlicensed. So they're illegal. And it is, it's China coming in and populating all of this. We checked in to Steve. I wanted to make sure that he was somebody that, you know, actually was credible. He worked for the Howie Car Show, barstool sports. In fact, the police up in Maine used some of his reporting as a
Starting point is 01:26:24 training manual for uncovering this particular problem up in Maine. So thanks for the tip to our listener that called in yesterday. Steve Robinson is on with us now from the mainwire.com. Hi, Steve. Hi, Glenn. Thank you very much for having me on. You bet. So tell me what is happening. Yeah, so the reporting from our perspective really began with the week of a Department of Homeland Security memo. It was a picture of an email that had been sent a around. And what it said was that there were hundreds, over 800 Chinese-owned illegal marijuana cultivation sites operating within the United States. And it specified that there were more than 270 of these sites operating in Maine. And that came as a surprise to me as a lifelong Maynor,
Starting point is 01:27:11 someone who covers Maine politics. I'd heard some about it, but 270 seemed like a big number. So after that initial story came out, we decided that we were going to start reviewing public records, interviewing people in the community and try to see if we could find these locations and really flesh out this story. And so I actually called a buddy of mine in the central part of the state and asked him about it. He's an electrician and he's plugged in with this. And he said, oh, yeah, it's a big problem. There's seven of these in our hometown. And so I went to Dexter where I grew up and I went around and I saw these sites and, you know, you can, you can smell them. And there's other indications based on the property records, the tax records, electrical
Starting point is 01:27:50 permit records where you can put together that it's a pretty big, sophisticated marijuana grow without even having to look inside of it. And then you can look and ask the town, you know, have you guys approved any marijuana grow sites? For the most part, the local police, the county sheriffs, the state police, they know where these locations are. But for some reason, even as this network has proliferated across rural Maine over the last three years, there really hasn't been a tremendous amount of law enforcement
Starting point is 01:28:20 an activity around them. Now, that's kind of starting to change. There's been about eight or nine busts of these facilities, and you're talking about places where they're growing 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 marijuana plants and trafficking that typically out of Maine to places where there are still black markets and they can get a higher value for it. But it's a vast network, a vast organized crime network that is taking advantage of rural Maine, buying up houses that middle class families could be living in, using tremendous amounts of electricity, which increases prices for the rest of Maine, and generally undermining the quality of life for people in the state. So this is happening over six different counties in Maine, and these sites are purchased
Starting point is 01:29:09 by whom? Are they Chinese nationals? Or do they? hire an American to be the name on the, on the title? How is this working? So none of them, none of them that I've found have an American name on the deed. Most of them, according to the Department of Homeland Security, they believe that the sites are operated by individuals who are president in the United States illegally. Some of them may have, wait, wait, illegally or legally? Illegally. They do not have authorization to be here in the United States. And I'll say that the rise of this network in Maine has corresponded with unprecedented levels of, you know, encounters of Chinese nationals at the southern border, according to DHS data.
Starting point is 01:29:56 So there's every reason to believe that the people who are here are operating these sites are here illegally. The Chinese individuals who own these sites are predominantly from Brooklyn and Quincy, Massachusetts. And whether they have legal status or not as hard to discern, because New York and Massachusetts will both give a driver's license to an illegal alien regardless of their citizenship status. And do they speak English? Do they fit in? They operate really apart from the community. They're often never seen outside of the houses. They'll go to grow shops in the areas where they'll show a picture of the product that they want on their phone and indicate that that's what they want for supplies
Starting point is 01:30:44 because they're spending a lot of money at the gross shops. They are treated like VIPs. For the most part, they have enough English to get by if they're ever questioned by law enforcement or a code enforcement officer. We've heard stories about their ability to speak English rapidly going away when they think that they're coming under scrutiny. At a recent bust in Machias, Maine,
Starting point is 01:31:05 that was spearheaded by the Machias Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff's Office, which is, you know, it's one of the most rural counties in Maine. Law enforcement uncovered a PRC passport to Malaysian passports, an airplane ticket that showed a recent arrival from the People's Republic of China. And they also found close to 3,000 pot plants in nine different grow rooms. And they found a number that the meter box had been rewired by someone with a sophisticated understanding of electrical engineering. so as to steal power from the power grid.
Starting point is 01:31:46 And the power company doesn't really know exactly or hasn't told law enforcement how much power was being stolen or for how long. But their best guess is tens of thousands of dollars worth of electricity was stolen and used to create a tremendous amount of marijuana. And they know that they were using through the meter 10,000 kilowatt hours a month in addition to whatever they were stealing. So across the board, the impact of these sites, this operation, are good for the people of Maine. And there's also quite a bit of evidence that the people who are operating these sites are victims of human trafficking. The three individuals who were managing the grow in Machias said that they were paid between $1,000 and $2,000 a month for their work managing that grow. So why is this not being picked up by the state?
Starting point is 01:32:39 Why is nobody doing anything about it? It's illegal. They're not licensed to do it. why isn't anything being done? That's a fantastic question. The governor of the state, Janet Mills, has been completely silent on this, as has her appointed police commissioner.
Starting point is 01:32:57 The congressional delegation, when the original story broke, all four of them sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland asking him to take a look at this. They never received a response. A few months later, Senator Susan Collins sent a letter highlighting the mainwires reporting to the U.S.
Starting point is 01:33:13 attorney of Maine. There's some indication that she might be taking, you know, hearing evidence from law enforcement about developing a possible strategy for this. But I think that the real answer is twofold, Glenn. It's when the people of Maine voted in 2016 in favor of legalizing marijuana and in 2020 brought out the regulatory framework, that was a signal to law enforcement that marijuana was no longer a law enforcement priority that they should be focusing on fentanyl. So when they hear about of marijuana grow. They kind of just say, oh, all right, well, it's not really a problem. But the other one is a fear of racism. There's a tremendous amount of concern amongst law enforcement, amongst the power companies, regulators, anybody, that there'll be a perception that they
Starting point is 01:33:59 singled out somebody based on their race, their ethnicity, their nationality. And that has hampered law enforcement's ability to deal with a criminal network that is operating with the tacit, if not explicit blessing of the Communist Party of China. Where's this money going? According to the Department of Homeland Security, a lot of the money is going right back to PRC. And money does not flow back to mainland China without the approval of people in the government there. The money is also being used to finance other activities, according to the feds, like human trafficking, like narcotics trafficking as well.
Starting point is 01:34:39 that's been harder for us to pin down in the course of our investigation because fentanyl isn't quite as smelly as marijuana is. It's harder to pin down. But the Homeland Security does believe that they're engaged in narcotics trafficking. And like any criminal organization that's running rackets, why wouldn't they expand and diversify if they already have a network set up along the I-95 corridor to move product up and down and distribute it to where they can sell it to customers? I can't believe, because this is happening in other. states it's not just Maine as well, so it's happening everywhere. Steve Robinson, he is from the main wire, as in the state, with an E, the main wire.
Starting point is 01:35:22 Dot com. Check out his work. You, Steve, have my producers' phone numbers. You get any more information. You're furthering the story at all. Please call us and update us, William. Absolutely gone. We'll do. Thank you. Thank you. Appreciate it. Steve Robinson, mainwire.com. You know, I just like to talk in case there is somebody who is listening who does not agree with me. So let me talk just to you. And I would love for you to respond. And I'm not going to put you out on the, you know, it's not a gotcha thing. I just don't know how you don't see what's happening to our country.
Starting point is 01:36:17 I mean, I understand if you don't like. Trump, you don't like me, you know, whatever. I get that. But our inflation rate alone should be enough to wake up everybody and go, okay, what are we doing? Do you know that just the introduction of AI in the next couple of years will require 25% of our power grid, just crunching the numbers for AI? 25% of our power will be used for that. We are already, I mean, has your electricity gone up? Do you think your electricity is more reliable or less reliable?
Starting point is 01:37:00 How are you doing with heating oil, if that's how you heat? Do you know that Washington State just ban natural gas effectively? Do you think this is a good idea? Do you think it's a good idea that we're not energy independent? do you actually believe that windmills and solar energy are ready for prime time? Because I don't. Are you more confident in our military or less? And I'm probably with you.
Starting point is 01:37:39 I don't know who you are anymore on the left or on the Democratic side because I don't know. I don't know. I think I know who you are, but I don't know who the people that. that vote for these Republicans, these Democrats who were saying, yeah, we got to go into Ukraine. And I say that about Republicans, too. We got to go into Ukraine. We got to best Russia. You know, we got to be all over the world.
Starting point is 01:38:05 No, no, we don't. When did that change? Because I know when I changed, because I used to be for all that stuff. And I can pinpoint when it changed. And boy, the, you know, turning the country of Afghanistan over to the Taliban, you know, didn't help that at all. Can you tell me how you dismiss seven and by the end of the year 10 million people coming across our border? We don't know who they are. We have no idea. They're not just families trying to make ends meet. It's mainly 20-something men coming across.
Starting point is 01:38:52 100,000 people a year die of fentanyl. That's because of the open border. And we know that's coming from China. Now China is here in America and nobody's saying anything about it. Nobody's doing anything about it. Is it the fact that your groceries and everything else, your cost of living is up 17%, 38% rise of your energy and groceries? And that's according to the government. I don't even believe those government numbers. That's according to them. Is that what's blinding you to saying, oh, that's just really good. I don't know. Do you believe that this president is actually in control of his faculties?
Starting point is 01:39:40 I am not asking these rhetorically. And I am not asking, I just want to know how you get past these things. How you believe that Trump is, and I'll give you, okay, he tried to overthrow the election. Let's say that. Let's just give you that. Okay. Do you see what's happening on the other? other side? Because I want to return to the Constitution. And I don't know. Is there anyone willing
Starting point is 01:40:16 to call and answer those questions? 888-7-27-B-E-C-K. Somebody who doesn't necessarily listen to the show or does all the time, but you don't necessarily agree with me. And you're not seeing a problem with these things. I just want to understand how you got there. Teach me. I want to learn from you. and that's sincere. All right. Believe it or not, I'm not an expert on everything. In fact, there are some areas of my life that I'm absolutely clueless about. My nickname used to be oblivio, because I'm oblivious to a lot of things.
Starting point is 01:40:54 However, when it comes to buying and selling a house, I used to be oblivious, but I am not anymore. I really wanted to know, how do you find a great real estate agent? Because I don't know how to interview them. I don't know how to hire somebody, and this is the most important thing. You just don't go into like Walmart and some guys in the aisle. He's like, hey, I know your sister. I should give me all your money and I'll invest it for you. You don't do that.
Starting point is 01:41:20 Real estate agents I trust.com. We've done the vetting for you. We know the best practices. I worked with the 500 best real estate agents in the country. And they taught me a lot. I still work with many of them. By the way, the 500 best according to the Wall Street Journal. And those are the kind of people that we want to turn you on
Starting point is 01:41:38 to the people who really know the market, no best practices, and know how to sell your home or get you into the right home. It's real estate agents.I trust.com. That's real estate agents I trust.com. 10 seconds. Station ID. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. I just, I'm, I'm really kind of at the end of my rope, not understanding, I mean, I can understand, because I see it on my side. I see it. I can understand why you wouldn't like Donald Trump. I get it. I get it. I get it. I can see why, you know, you would say, hey, clean up your own mess with what's happening in Arizona with the Republican Party, trying to bribe Carrie Lake to stay out of the race for two years. I don't like that. I want that cleaned up. I mean, it's it's what aboutism, but it's fair. Whataboutism. It is. Yeah. It is. I mean, you can't just point out one side and excuse your side. You just can't. Not at this point in the Republic's life.
Starting point is 01:42:53 So we're going to go to the phones after the bottom of the hour and talk to people. Apparently the phones are lighting up. And so I just, I don't want to play gotcha. I just want to understand. I mean, there's a lot of thoughtful people in this audience, including thoughtful people that don't agree with us on a lot of stuff. So we always love hearing from them. But I think the overarching answer to your question is most people just have partisan loyalties and look for any way to be. back those loyalties up. And on both sides. On both sides. I, you know, I think that is true on both sides.
Starting point is 01:43:25 Though I think there is a situation, particularly with Donald Trump, where Democrats just hate him so much, they will not allow themselves to hear an argument that would alleviate any of that hatred. And I want to know why you hate him that much, that you would be blind to other things. Because, like, I didn't start out a fan of Donald Trump's. Didn't. No, no. and still have things that I don't love about Donald Trump, but his policies, not all of them, they worked. I didn't like the way, you know, it was all executive order, and I don't like it with Biden. I didn't like it with Bush. I didn't like it with Obama. You know, those things we have to change.
Starting point is 01:44:08 That is, that's a real problem. But, you know, you get to a point to where you're like, okay, all right, this is almost irrational, almost irrational. I can tell you concrete things that make me say, this person is dangerous. Can you give me those concrete things that are not on your side as well? Big news in the world of online scamming today. So-called mother-of-all breaches has been announced. This is a massive data leak of billions with a B of records from previous data breaches, newly stolen data, privately sold databases.
Starting point is 01:44:55 most of this data is considered sensitive, so it's exactly the kind of data that cybercriminals need to commit identity theft. So, hey, congratulations on that. The mother of all breaches has just been announced. Your personal information is exposed so often, it makes it really simple for a cybercriminal to steal your identity, but you can protect yourself with Lifelock by Norton. Lifelock will detect and alert you to threats that you may not spot on your own, things like loans taken out in your name or cybercriminals pretending to be you. And if you do become a victim of identity theft,
Starting point is 01:45:31 a dedicated U.S.-based restoration specialist will work to fix it. I've never, thank God, had to go to the restoration specialist. Lifelock has always called me if there was a problem and said, are you taking out this loan? Is this you for insurance? Nope. 1-800 Lifelock, 1-800 Lifelock or Lifelock.com. promo code back save 25%.
Starting point is 01:45:53 Lifelock.com, 1-800, LifeLock. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. Let's go to Sam in Iowa. Hello, Sam. Hi, Glenn. How are you? Hi, Glenn. Hi. How are you?
Starting point is 01:46:20 Good. I'm really good. Now, I understand you're a conservative, but you're going to vote for Joe Biden. Yep, that's correct. Okay. Tell me about that. Well, so I think that Donald Trump is a danger to the republic. I think the Georgia phone call that was recorded when he said, find me the votes. You know, just say you miscounted, that's fine. Just make me win.
Starting point is 01:46:45 I think that's too damning to vote for Donald Trump. Okay. Now you're voting for, how did you get to Joe Biden? Does I understand that point of view? Well, it's kind of a binary choice, right? You know, I could vote third party, but at the end of the day, if I don't vote for Donald Trump. I'm really just voting for Joe Biden. Okay. Well, no.
Starting point is 01:47:10 You're actually putting your name on something. So tell me about Joe Biden. What makes Joe Biden better than Donald Trump? So I think we're living in a time of great prosperity and freedom in America. You know, you look back through history. We've got it pretty good today. And people, you know, know, we've kind of freaked out in 2016 after Donald Trump ran. And I had the opinion that, you know, the country's kind of going to go, you know, along the same way. You know, Donald Trump's not going to end the Republic or anything like that. But I kind of feel the same way about Joe Biden. I think that the danger that Donald Trump poses to the Republic is greater than, you know, say, you know, funding the Department of Education. or, you know, other things that they're spending all this money on that, you know,
Starting point is 01:48:11 they really shouldn't be spending it on. I think that the burden of freedom is on our shoulders. You know, we don't have to fight the Japanese on Guadigan now. We don't have to, you know. No, we're fighting different things. Yeah. Correct. But we do have to stand up to the guy who tried to overthrow the American election.
Starting point is 01:48:27 So let me ask you about your principles. what do you base your what should we be basing our country and our decisions on what are your principles your guiding principles so I think number one is freedom what does that mean I think I think that we should be able to pursue our interest and as long as we're not stepping on the rights of our fellow citizens that we should be able to do pretty much anything we want you So are you a Bill of Rights person? Is that how you would describe freedom? Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 01:49:09 Yeah, the values inscribed in the bill of rights, absolutely. So do you think that the Biden administration is moving us toward more freedom? I would say no, but I think that the risk of Donald Trump to the two, to the Constitution is greater than the risk of Joe Biden. That's interesting. How did you get there? How did you make that decision? Because there's, for instance, there is now evidence that Donald Trump, I mean, sorry, that
Starting point is 01:49:45 Joe Biden did some deals with his son and China, which would explain a few things. He is trying to usurp the Constitution, for instance, just on student loans. he's gone against the Supreme Court several times, one right after another. There is no no, he is also working with public-private partnerships to silence people that disagree with him. And we have that because of the Twitter files and others that have come out here more recently that are even more disturbing to silence people. is that not a threat to our republic? So the Hunter Biden thing, I'm kind of waiting to see, you know,
Starting point is 01:50:37 the news is still, you know, ongoing. We'll see how that all ends. What I've seen is there really isn't that great of evidence tying Hunter Biden to Joe Biden, that there's an international crime conspiracy that millions of dollars were funneled back and forth or anything like that. You should read a little bit more on that.
Starting point is 01:50:59 I'm not, we're all busy, but you should read a little more on that because that evidence is now there. Absolutely. And, yeah, I'm watching it as it unfolds. But so the Supreme Court and the student loans, you brought up that, I would say that we're still acting within the bounds of the Constitution with that. You know, so the president does something and then the, you know, somebody takes them to court. and it goes to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court decides whether what he's doing is constitutional or not. Right, and they've decided that, and then he keeps doing it. Well, and then they sue them again, and the Supreme Court tells him to stop.
Starting point is 01:51:39 And I think everything there is going within the Constitution. So let's talk about the suppression of, you know, because Donald Trump did say he would like to pull the license, you know, of CNN and others, but there is no license to poll, and people were very upset when he said that during his first term. However, we are seeing things that are very disturbing on the freedom of speech side and the freedom of press. Yeah, absolutely. Freedom of speech, freedom of press, those are, you know, freedom of religion, those are the most important principles in our society. And you brought up the Twitter files from before. Do I like that Twitter is putting a finger on one side of the scale? I don't, but I also think that Twitter is a private company and that Twitter has, you know, the right to make that decision itself.
Starting point is 01:52:40 You know, it comes back to freedom. You know what I mean? If you built this company, you ultimately, at the end of the day, have the right to say how it's going to be. Yeah, but does the government have the right? right to call up and threaten and say, you need to do this. It's your choice, but you need to do this, or there's some things that we can do to make yourself, make you and your company very uncomfortable. No, no. Well, they've been doing that. So I just want to, I just, I, you keep coming back. I think your big thing on Donald Trump is he tried to steal the election, right? Correct. Yeah. Yeah, I think,
Starting point is 01:53:19 So would you give me that the system worked in stopping him from doing that because his own vice president said I'm not doing that? So the system worked? Yes. The people around him were not loyal enough to go through with his plan of tearing up the Constitution. Great. And do you think that that same kind of system, those checks and balances, has stopped? the left from doing all kinds of unconstitutional and very shady things, some illegal things, has that, is there that block from the left on Joe Biden?
Starting point is 01:54:07 Well, yeah, like the student loan thing you brought up. Yeah, that was the Supreme Court, which Joe Biden and many in Congress want to pack. Well, certainly, yeah, that's the progress. of Congress. If something like that was to pass, it would have to go through Congress. Yeah, I'm, I'm very glad that the Supreme Court shut down Joe Biden. Right. Um, on student loans when he exceeded his power. And, and yeah, I, I agree that, but, but, but Glenn, you know, we're talking about policies that are really not to the scope and scale of the threat that Donald Trump poses to the Constitution.
Starting point is 01:54:52 down our energy, giving Afghanistan back to the Taliban, relieving any kind of problems with China, going into Ukraine, horribly dirty country, spending more there, giving them more than we used inflation adjusted for the Marshall Plan, which rebuilt all of Europe. And no strings attached to that money. We can't even track that money. You don't think these things are huge? I wasn't aware that we spent more on Ukraine than the Marshall Plan. Yeah, we did.
Starting point is 01:55:39 Yeah, we did. All right. Well, last question. When all the candidates were still in the race, was there a candidate you preferred over Biden? So I would vote for Ronda Santas or Nikki Haley or Vivek. If any of those were the Republican nominee, I would have voted for them this year. Wow.
Starting point is 01:56:00 I just think that the cult of personality around Donald Trump is not good for this country in a very bad way. You know, this is a New York City real estate agent. You know, he's got New York values, Glenn. And this is not somebody to have over the day. I know. We knew this before. You know, and we've we've hashed over that ground before. But we have seen those New York values appoint a justice that overturned Roe versus Wade.
Starting point is 01:56:36 I mean, I can look at the bad things that I don't like about Donald Trump. And I can look at the good things that I've seen him do. And I can balance those things. But I understand why people might not like. Donald Trump, I just am left still again because I can see if you're right. If, you know, he's got one term and he's, you know, everybody's coming after him and whatever. I could see him. I could see Biden just as easy, although he wouldn't have the energy to do it. I could see somebody else coming in a dictatorship. We are at the point of our life of our republic where
Starting point is 01:57:13 dictators are very likely to set in. But I would. stand against either of them. I don't care if it was Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Donald Trump, Donald Duck. I will stand against that and I will stand for the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. But you have to do it consistently, have to do it consistently. And I go for the one that doesn't seem to have the entire system. hypnotized. There is the system. That's what it's designed to do. Slow things down. I haven't seen anybody slowing anything down in this administration. Thank you so much for your call.
Starting point is 01:58:01 I really appreciate it. Let me tell you about rough greens. Unless you have some things to say, Stu. You're biting your time. Not at all. I'm just, it was interesting. I mean, again, and there's some stuff in there that I didn't agree with. But it was, it was interesting to hear that viewpoint put out.
Starting point is 01:58:17 and you stood by your promise. You're not going to try to fight with the person. I just want to understand them. Yeah. I was left still not understanding. I do understand how people could think anyone at this point could become a dictator. Yeah. And look, I think there are people who draw that line.
Starting point is 01:58:36 I don't think it's a large amount of people. And it was interesting. Your question about the primary was interesting because, you know, a lot of people say they're conservatives and say, oh, well, you know, but I just won't vote for Donald Trump. And he's specified several candidates, even Vivek Ramoswamy, who is very much aligned policy-wise with Trump that he would still vote for. So look, I mean, these people do exist. And it's interesting to hear.
Starting point is 01:59:01 I don't think they're super common right now. I am so glad you're listening. I'm so glad. Yeah. Like, I feel like people get so insane in the primary process. We're seeing this now with the fallout of candidates dropping out. Everyone's attacking each other online and everything. It's like, yeah, it's just.
Starting point is 01:59:16 Like, I don't understand that. We should be able to at least talk with each other and hash these things out. And it's like it's, it's, you just have to, people get so caught up in the emotions of this. It's not supposed to be emotional. We're the conservatives. We're supposed to be doing the opposite of that schick. All right. Our sponsor is Rough Greens.
Starting point is 01:59:38 Unless your dog, you know, gets to stare at a menu and pick out what he wants to eat every night. My dog doesn't. Most dogs probably don't. Then he's eating something. like kibble food that is not healthy. I mean, not healthy. I don't mean like eating at McDonald's every day healthy. I mean, not healthy.
Starting point is 01:59:57 Everything is cooked out of kibble food. Naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black wants to put that back into your kibble food. It's called rough greens. You sprinkle it on your dog's food. It's really healthy for your dog. Dogs like and eat their kibble food. I mean, Uno was the pickiest eater ever. and that solved this.
Starting point is 02:00:18 And then I saw this amazing what I considered a side effect because I just wanted my dog to eat. This amazing change in Uno. He became much more active, much more alert, playful. It was like a different dog. Please try it with Rough Greens. Go to Roughgreens.com slash Beck or call 833 GLENN-33, 833 Glenn 33. And they're going to give you the first trial bag just to see if your dog will eat it for free. I'm telling you it's an amazing product.
Starting point is 02:00:48 Just try it for yourself. Get the first bag free. You just pay for shipping. 833 Glenn 33, 833, Glenn 33 or roughgreens.com slash Beck. This is the Glenn Beck program. You know, I should have said something if I was totally honest with that caller, but I think I alluded to it. But let me say, I have the same concern about Donald Trump.
Starting point is 02:01:34 and really almost any of them, but Donald Trump, because we are entering a time where we have to make a choice and not enough people understand the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence. If they did, we wouldn't be having any of these problems because we wouldn't stand for it, but not enough people are engaged. However, my thinking on this is, and I don't,
Starting point is 02:02:04 think this is going to happen. But you know me, I'm a doomsday guy. Let's say Donald Trump got into office and he started going way unconstitutional. A, you'll have the left and the Democrats throwing up roadblocks anyway, whether it's constitutional or not. You got that. That's true. Even if there's a third of the people who voted for him that say, wait a minute, wait a minute, that's unconstitutional. You stop that. The system would work. But the W.E.F. stuff that is happening behind the scenes that we're putting in through the Green New Deal, which was called the Inflation Reduction Act, which Biden even says that's not what it was, that stuff doesn't stop.
Starting point is 02:02:53 It doesn't stop. and Donald Trump has said he'd do a lot of things in campaigns that he didn't do, like arrest Hillary. He didn't do it. But I have concerns of dictatorship from anyone at this point, because we are at that point in our lifetime of the Republic. The Glenn Beck Program.
