The Glenn Beck Program - How Biden Accidentally Gave Trump a LOT More Power | Guests: Sean Spicer & Ezra Levant | 2/18/25
Episode Date: February 18, 2025The radical Left continues to lose its mind as the DOGE aims to cut all the wasteful spending, even if that means useless government employees losing their jobs. Some of the latest cuts are the Depart...ment of Education canceling $600 million in grants to radicalize teachers. Pat Gray joins Glenn and Stu to discuss the "reign of terror," as one Democrat representative described it, happening in Washington, D.C. If climate change is the most existential crisis, why does the Left hate the man who has done the most to prevent that existential crisis from happening? The guys also review the latest hit single from leftist protesters. Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer joins to discuss how President Biden helped President Trump take over the Kennedy Center. Glenn reads his letter to President Trump urging him to look into potential fraud regarding America's gold reserve. How would it cost millions of dollars to remove dead people from the Social Security list? Rebel News founder Ezra Levant joins to discuss how Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is behind the current animosity Canadians have for America. Glenn and Stu discuss President Trump's latest actions to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Viaray, the voice that we love that we love.
Oh my gosh.
I don't know about you, but my life is out of control since Donald Trump got in.
Have you noticed?
I mean, we're seeing it in the media.
Everything is falling apart.
It's going crazy.
Everybody is discombobulated.
I don't even know what that felt like until Doge.
Now I know what discombobulated actually means.
Oh, my gosh.
America is falling apart because they're making cuts too fast.
Really?
Because I really, I haven't noticed that.
We begin there in 60 seconds first.
Jeffrey wrote in about his experience with our sponsor Relief Factor.
He says, I just wanted to send a message of thanks.
I'm free of pain in my knee and lower back, which means
I can keep my job.
Let me tell you, it was touch and go there for a while.
Thank you, Relief Factor.

My gosh, everything is in chaos.
Nobody's getting food.
The price of bacon.
Have you noticed?
I can you even afford gas now my gosh the schools are in disarray our children aren't being educated
what do we do with the homeless population that's about to be beaten to death because they're
people in america are so transphobic but there's no classes to learn don't hate trans people
what are we going to do?
And what is Elon Musk doing?
Oh man, he went into the,
he went into the treasury,
and he started having his people work with the treasury people,
and it was actually the treasury people
that found, well, $4.7 trillion in payments
that don't have any, you know,
don't have any code or anything,
so it's almost untracing.
to see where that $4.7 trillion
went?
Don't worry about it.
What?
What?
It's these Doge people
that just keep hyping everything
and saying that there's problems.
There's no problem there.
$4.7 trillion that we just
can't identify where it went.
What do you want a record now?
My gosh.
Keep calm and carry on.
Yeah.
Do you ever hear that?
Just so what?
There's $4.7 trillion dollars.
Just keep calm.
keep going
everything's going to be fine
so now
people are paranoid in Washington
listen to this story
Stu this is sad
this is very sad
government employees are reported
could we have any sad music
Sarah
government employees are reportedly
plagued with anxiety
over the Department of Government
Officiencies
Doge the access
to various computer systems
fearing surveillance of their
communications. Some employees are paranoid that their conversations, their emails, their text
could be surveilled with some purchasing Faraday bags to block electromagnetic signals or to inhibit
potential surveillance. One employee at the General Services Administration responsible for government
procurement say they no longer carry a work out a phone outside of the office. I used to carry
my work phone around with me everywhere after hours on the weekend and
case anything was needed, but now I won't take it out of my office.
Now, the GSA says it doesn't have a plan to surveil its employees, but people are worried
that they're being surveilled now.
Now, I don't, I mean, I, I, I mean, I don't mean, I don't mean, I don't mean to be the
bearer of bad news, but the government's been listening to you and everybody else for a very
long time. What you're just coming around to this? I think the government might be listening. No. No way.
Now, add to that. Anything in your emails or whatever could just be taken without a search warrant.
Your GPS location could just be given. Your banking records could be given to the FBI.
Yeah, that's right. It could happen to you. But only if you're on the right.
and were in Washington on January 6th.
That was the only way that could happen.
So you were safe.
You were totally safe.
Or are you?
This is a reason to make sure the government is transparent.
I don't think there's anybody that wants to be surveilled by the United States government.
That's kind of been one of our points lately.
You know what I mean?
We've been saying that for a while.
Hey, they could become really dangerous.
because they have all of our information.
And you were like, no, that's not going to happen.
I mean, unless you're for Trump, but that's crazy.
Oh, okay, okay.
So yesterday, anti-Trump critics have called for another boycott against the co-founder of Airbnb.
He's decided to join Doge.
I don't know what he's doing, maybe putting people up.
I don't know. I don't know.
$4.7 trillion missing.
Maybe he can get a slice of that.
I don't know.
But he came out and he said that he was going to go ahead and volunteer time for Doge.
Okay, great.
No, not great for the people.
I mean, the people who are the elites in Washington,
you know, the ones that are having to sacrifice right now might lose their cushy government job.
I mean, they've had a job.
They've been promised a job for life.
You know what that's like, right?
Never having to worry about your job?
Never having to worry about even a review?
Because really, everyone around you sucks?
Oh, man, and they might lose...
Where's the sad music, Sarah?
I need some more sad music for the government employees
that might lose their job.
Oh, gosh, darn it.
Can you imagine not knowing if you could keep your job?
A new boss, try this out for size, you probably can't relate to this, but a new boss comes
into your place of work?
And you don't know if he's going to like you, not like you, change direction, you
could just lose your job.
I know you can't relate to that, but for the very first time in American history, these
poor employees of the government who were promised a job for life and pension, better
than any kind of pension you could ever get.
They now question whether this new boss of theirs might fire them.
I don't know how they deal with it.
I don't know how they deal with it.
Oh my gosh, the stress they must be under.
Just horrible, huh?
By the way, Department of Education has canceled $600 million in woke teacher training grants.
You've got to be kidding me.
So, wait a minute.
Are you telling me nobody's going to be teaching our teachers that little Susie could have a dinky sewed on to her body so she could be a boy?
Nobody's going to teach that.
What was sewed on again?
A dinky.
Okay.
Put right there.
And nobody's going to teach that to the teachers.
So the teachers won't be able to teach that to the kids.
Oh, my gosh.
this is chaos people.
This is chaos.
Kind of like, see, I know you can't.
I know you can't relate to this kind of chaos.
But the teachers are now going to have to go into school.
And what they've known to be true, their whole life, you know, that gender is fluid.
That a boy can be a girl.
That, you know, trans is cool.
That drag queens.
I need to grow up their whole life.
knowing that drag queens were cool for kindergartners.
Okay?
They knew what their whole of...
And then all of a sudden, Trump gets in,
and everything changes overnight.
Now all of a sudden,
you can't relate to this kind of chaos in your life
because this kind of chaos has never happened to you
where you believe something your entire life.
You think everybody believes something for their entire life.
And then a group of people get into power and they're like,
no, there's no such thing.
as kids being able to change their gender.
What these teachers are going through, the chaos in their life.
And what is Doge doing?
What are they doing?
Really?
Honestly, what are they doing?
Let me give you this story.
The Washington, D.C. non-profit,
a non-profit, the Amica Center for Immigration Rights,
has been running advertisements on Facebook soliciting donations to disrupt Trump's deportation machine.
Stop Trump's deportation dystopia.
We'll see you in court, Mr. Trump.
Now, you might not have ever heard of this NGO, but the federal government has heard about it.
In fact, they received just last year, nine.
million dollars as a subcontractor to provide legal services through the Department of Justice
Legal Orientation Program. So this is like a quasi-government agency. Here's the good news,
okay? You're going to love this. You've never heard of this group before. You might think,
hey, I don't know. I mean, didn't they promise this at one point we wouldn't take federal tax dollars
to pay for abortions? No, they never promised that. What are you talking about?
You've got a faulty memory.
I don't know.
I'm kind of against illegal immigration.
Why are my tax dollars going to fight against the law?
Are you a doge person?
Are you somebody who likes Elon Musk?
Are you somebody who doesn't understand that the biggest threat to the planet,
an existential threat will be dead in 10 minutes.
We'll all be dead if we'll all be dead if,
we don't take care of global warming in the next, well, about nine and a half minutes now,
hurry up, you're one of those people. And you're for Elon Musk, you know, a guy who believes
the same things that you believe about global warming and has done more, you know, for global
warming than anybody else alive on the planet. But I see why you hate him so much.
because of things like this, he's going to make sure that every dollar that you pay into tax,
which I know you love because it's patriotic, right? Am I right?
Hey, do your patriotic duty.
Pay tax and you love high taxes.
You personally love them, right?
It's not, no, tax somebody else, not me.
No, no, no, not with you.
You love taxes.
And you just want them as high as they can possibly be.
he's just making sure that the tax dollars aren't going to something that you don't necessarily agree with
because it's unconstitutional, you know?
Like, right?
You're for this one.
You're for this one.
You want because that one makes sense.
But can you imagine if those tax dollars, $9 million, Donald Trump, use that to prop up.
you know, a pro second amendment NGO?
Ha, that would be crazy.
We'd have to stop that right now, wouldn't we?
This is incredible what they are doing.
They have zero credibility on any of this, any of this.
How do you defend this?
Just this, just this, $9 million.
Well, $9 million.
I don't know if you know this, but $9 million.
million dollars here, there, and everywhere kind of adds up. Usually adds up to, oh my gosh, where
did I pull this number out? $4.7 trillion that the Treasury just has no idea where they put that.
Look, the world is easy to explain. Our government and what's happening is really easy to explain.
So I'm going to slow the train down a bit. I'm going to explain it. I'll do that in 60 seconds.
America is not done one way or another.
We still have our country.
Thank God for that.
Now it's up to you and me to keep proving that.
It's time to keep pushing leftist ideology back from the pit from whence it came.
And it's time for you and me to put our money into solid American businesses with solid American values.
We choose to do that.
I don't want your tax dollars to do this.
You can choose to do this.
one of the companies that I partner with, and I'm really proud to partner with, is Patriot Mobile.
Their America's only Christian conservative mobile phone company.
See, I told you he wanted a theocracy.
No, not.
They offer a nationwide dependable coverage with access to all three major networks.
You get the same coverage without sending money to leftist causes and their customer service, I believe, is better than the others.

All righty.
All righty then.
Let's see.
Why don't we just imagine for just a second that our
government is a restaurant, a bustling restaurant, where every section in the restaurant plays a vital
role, okay, because they want to create a memorable dining experience and make the people happy.
At the heart of the kitchen is the chef, okay, in this restaurant, that would be called the president.
He's the chef. He crafts the menu and oversees the culinary creations, all in line with
the original purpose of the restaurant.
So if it's an Italian establishment,
he can't put goulash on the menu.
That wouldn't be good.
Every four years, the diners,
the citizens, if you will,
the diners have the opportunity
to review the chef's performance
and say, yeah, you know,
I don't like his fare.
I don't think it's good.
It's not good for the restaurant.
After all, we the people,
the diners, own the restaurant.
So in the dining area,
the servers, our elected members of Congress, interact directly with the patrons.
They're elected every two years.
They're hired every two years.
Everybody in the restaurant, all the patrons have to say, you know what?
I like him.
I don't like him.
Replace him.
But the servers do that because they're attuned to the immediate needs and the feedback of the diners.
Now, they can relay compliments and concerns to the chef, suggesting adjustments or new dishes based on patrons' desires.
However, they do not step into the kids.
to alter recipes or dictate cooking methods or tell the chef who to hire and fire.
Their role is to represent the diners voices and ensure their satisfaction.
The chef in turn selects his own kitchen staff, the sous chefs, the line cooks,
the dishwashers, without any interruption from the dining room.
And the same can be said for the chef.
He can't interrupt and tell which servers are hired or fired or which are assigned.
to which tables. That's not his job. Now, the servers don't influence the chef's hiring decisions
and vice versa. It's a clear boundary, front of house, back of house. That way the whole thing runs
smoothly. Now, just to make sure that this Italian restaurant remains an Italian restaurant, you've got
a critic who comes in once in a while when there's a problem or a dispute. And when they start
happening between the kitchen and the dining area, the role is to assess whether the chef
and the servers are adhering to the restaurant's founding recipes and standards.
Are they holding that true?
They don't rewrite the menu or manage the staff instead.
All they do is just say, yep, that was what was on the menu and looks like he's creating
that.
Recently, there's been a stir in our governmental restaurant.
the chef has decided to revamp the kitchen, bringing in new staff because it's been wildly inefficient,
and lacking of good flavor.
Gulosh is appearing on the menu.
However, some of the servers are attempting to stop the chef from hiring and firing his own staff,
challenging the chef's authority to manage their own team.
Now, the situation, again, akin to the chef trying to dictate which source.
servers should attend specific tables.
But this is disturbing the force.
I feel like there's a million voices crying out and then suddenly silenced.
The restaurant has the servers, the chef, and the critic.
In the early 20th century, some proposed a different model for our restaurant.
Woodrow Wilson, they suggested that a group of experts should oversee both the kitchen and the dining area,
believing they knew best what patrons should consume.
This sidelined all of the direct feedback from the diners and concentrated the decision-making
power leading to a disconnect between the establishment and the owners of the restaurant.
In fact, it was never fully understood what they were doing, or run by the patrons, who only
eat there.
They're the actual owners.
All three restaurant, chef, the servers, and the critic were part of a covert plan.
to hire someone unknown to the patrons who wanted to run the kitchen and serve only goulash.
The chef is now making the changes to restore it to an Italian restaurant.
This is Glenn Beck.
That's all that's happening here.

Oh my gosh. I was just
talking a minute ago about
the chaos in Washington
and how troubling it is for
those in Washington.
They're just
they're just don't know what's coming next.
Here's Eugene Vidman, a Democratic
representative.
Listen to Eugene here.
We've already seen
that this doge, I called the Department of Government inefficiencies, is causing a reign of terror
chaos across the federal government.
Just this week, they released classified information about a U.S. intelligence agency.
They have access to the American people's personal information, bank accounts and things like that
that they're frankly not entitled to.
And so I have a major, major concern about going to.
I think we all do.
And Futson around with
the internal systems there
in U.S. National Security.
Yeah, I couldn't agree more.
Now, Vindman, is there any relation
to the whistleblower Vindman?
There is a relation.
It's the same person.
No.
Yes.
Really?
The exact same person.
Wow.
So he is an incredible, credible source.
And I love that.
And the things that he does.
Wait, did you get, though, when he said
Department of Government,
inefficiency?
I did, but here's the problem.
Just one of the problems?
What's the problem?
It starts with I.
So it'd be doggy, not doge.
Yeah.
So, wait, could it be inefficiency?
Inefficiency.
It could be.
But that doesn't, of course, not of what he said made sense.
No.
Right. But come on.
He was talking about a reign of terror in D.C.
It's a reign of terror.
It's practically the night of long knives.
Yes.
It's scary.
This is an American hero.
I think the step up.
Thank you.
as a whistleblower to try to stop this fascist dictator we had.
You're a fascist.
Unelected.
A fascist, fascist, fascist, and put the t-shirt and put the word fascist on it.
Yeah.
Thank you, Keith Overman.
Yeah.
So I just think this is sad because your life has been since Doge started.
Oh, completely turned upside down.
Yeah, the all of America.
I haven't gotten the $35 million that the government usually sends me.
Yeah, this time of year.
Really?
Right.
For one.
Yeah, about every quarter to send me another $35 million.
What was that for again?
Because I need to change my, the pat paper that the gerbils are on top of the pet.
Oh, the gerbil paper.
You know how expensive gerbil paper is?
It's crazy.
Yeah.
It's nuts.
It's nuts.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, the whole, can you, listen, can you not hear the chaos and the screams in the streets right now?
I can.
I can.
I can.
I can.
Will my electricity work?
Right.
Is there anybody at the nuclear power plants or are they going to melt down?
We're all thinking the same thing.
Is Elon Musk stealing my social security check even as we speak for that extra $1,200 this month?
They gave control.
You know he needs it.
Yeah.
They gave control of all of our money to 19-year-olds computer programmers who we are not supposed to listen to
as opposed to Greta Thunberg, which we should listen to everything that she says.
Right.
Right. And what's his butt?
The, you know, the vice chair.
David Hogg.
Yeah, David Hogg.
Yeah, well, those two are mature.
Kind of like the other guy we should listen to,
who's very mature, Joe Biden.
We needed somebody like him.
He's sharpest attack.
He's running circles around his AIDS right now.
Nobody even knows.
He has aides.
Yeah, well, and I don't think he does, but, you know,
that's not been confirmed or tested.
Or we don't know because the AIDS scene.
The AIDS programs have all been canceled.
Actually, no, you know what?
Biden did address that, at least in the debate.
Remember, he said, I took an AIDS test.
Barack took an AIDS test.
I do remember that.
So he did actually, at least at that point, did not have AIDS.
Okay, good.
Good to hear.
Yeah.
Good, good.
But, yeah.
So this is going well, I think.
It's going really well.
The resistance is just fortifying.
And I'd be terrified if I happen to be Elon Musk because, you know, it's interesting.
And, Clay, can you walk me through this?
Pat, maybe you can walk me through.
Yeah, sure.
My understanding is...
Okay.
This is just his understanding.
And I think I might be wrong here because I don't see what's happening now doesn't
fit into my understanding of the world.
He's most likely wrong.
Right.
That's what I'm sorry.
Yeah.
So my understanding is the greatest existential threat to this world is global warming, right?
Yes.
Is global warming, right?
Yes.
Well, after white supremacy.
Oh, it's after white supremacy.
I think it's after white supremacy.
Okay.
I didn't know that because I thought,
the greatest existential threat to this nation and this world.
I think it's global warming and then white supremacy.
Yeah.
So that threat, the 0.9 degrees Celsius temperature rise over a century.
Which will kill all of us.
Which will kill all of us.
Even though we'll be dead.
Such a big threat that we have to spend trillions of dollars to solve it, to control that global temperature.
Eighty-seven trillion dollars.
So there's one guy who's been able to actually make some inroads.
on this. He's built the largest electric car company in the world. I love him. He's built
one of the largest solar companies in the world. Yeah, done more than anybody else. He's built a
spaceship company and the possibility that the global warming is so bad we need to escape to
Mars. Yes. It's that bad and he knows it. And that guy is now Hitler because he wants to cut
spending in our government.
Yes.
So if I honestly want to know from liberals,
would you trade
Elon Musk right now?
If you could get a guy who,
let's say Elon Musk doesn't build
the electric car company.
Are we getting the homes?
Doesn't build SpaceX.
We're making this trace.
Do we get them homes?
It's going to be a draft pick and a player to be named later.
We'll get into that in a minute.
But what I'm saying is you give up
Musk and the electric cars
and the solar power and
the spaceships to Mars. You give all that
up and in exchange
you'd have him
not cutting government spending
which I'm curious which one they think is actually
a bigger problem because they've taken this
person and made him into Adolf
Hitler after he solved all the
problems you said were the biggest
after he was the guy who did
everything you were asking for
now you think he's Hitler
it feels
almost as if that
whole bull crap about global
warming and how was their biggest problem
wasn't true at all.
Oh, but you know that can't be the case.
That's nothing.
That's why I said it was why I understand.
And I don't think that that understanding.
No, he was the greatest man to ever live until he became Hitler.
That's clear.
Yeah.
That's clear.
I mean, like, when Hitler was a kid.
Did he have friends?
Sure.
They might have said great things about him.
And then suddenly he became Hitler.
So the guy who's, who's, Hitler basically solved all of our global problems when it
comes to global.
Did Hitler not take care of the Autobahn?
He did.
Did he not create the?
In fact, there's a song about it.
He's the same thing.
Bon, Bon, Otto Bon.
I mean, that's how.
It's a short song.
Wow.
It is a song.
Yeah.
Speaking of songs, there's a new song out.
Oh, yeah.
Really?
Yeah, there's a new song out.
And this one, you know, the one thing the left has that we don't have.
Songs, really good singers.
Really good songs.
That's true.
Solid.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I just want to give you this.
this beautiful, beautiful song, written and sung by a guy just out on the street protesting.
Okay.
All right, here it is.
Trump is not a king.
He's not a king.
Trump is not a king.
Trump is not a king.
Sing along.
Never turning back.
There's no turning back.
Never turning back.
Everybody.
Stop the fascist now.
No.
Stop the fascist now.
Stop the fascist now.
Stop the fascist now.
Stop the fascist now.
No turning back.
So no turning back?
No turning back.
So we should keep the fascist going?
No, there's no.
No, there's no.
The Musk regime.
Oh, the Musque regime.
Now, I just want you to know.
Ouse the Musk regime.
Reims what?
Oast the Musk regime.
Oast the Musk regime.
Yeah, it's good.
I just want you to know he's holding his phone up to his face to read these lyrics.
Well, they're complex.
They are.
They are.
Trump is not a king.
No turning back.
Stop the fascist now.
No turning back.
Ost the Musk regime.
And that's the first time I heard it.
It's that catchy.
Yeah.
And I don't need a phone.
read the lyrics. How did you do that? I'm musical. Did you have a photographic memory?
Photographic. Yeah. Plus it's going to be in your head all day. All day long. That's incredible.
Singing that your co-workers will be driven nuts. We have the other one that really kind of stays in your head the whole time because it's really, it's sure, it's catchy.
But there's no union talk in this one. No union talk at all. Did you hear union? Well, yeah, and the Musk regime would be a very
pro-union song, I suppose.
Because Elon Musk is not a big union guy.
Maybe that's the biggest threat to our country.
Not a union guy.
But, I mean...
There's a hole in the sky where the tree once was.
Somebody's making money.
Yeah.
That, I mean...
That's really good.
That's the classic.
They're good.
Yeah.
There's a hole in the sky.
The tree was in the sky.
The street was right there and they took the tree.
So now you see this.
This hole.
The big hole.
So the tree used to be.
It was in the sky and it rose up higher into the sky, made a hole in the sky.
No, no.
Are you really this stupid?
I think.
Might be.
So the tree was growing from the ground.
Okay.
And you couldn't see this guy because the tree was there.
But now that they've taken the tree around, there's a hole.
No.
It doesn't make any sense.
Where the tree once was.
I'm with you, Glenn.
Normally, I wouldn't abide the stupid shaming.
But in this case, I got to make an exception.
because it's appropriate.
Right.
He's so stupid.
He's so stupid.
Wait, so the hole in the sky where the tree once was.
So there was not a hole there before.
No.
No, because it was filled by the tree.
Yeah.
But now.
But now we can see the sky.
There's no hole there.
We can see the sky.
There's a hole where the tree was.
The hole, but the sky.
I mean, again, there's a plain stupid.
He's just, but stupid.
No, no, no.
You're saying the hole is in the sky.
She specifically says the hole is in the sky.
She doesn't say there's a hole where the,
There's a hole in the tree.
Some people you just can't help, Glenn.
No, I know.
And you try.
You try.
That's true.
I know.
It's fair.
It's fair.
I didn't understand the whole existential threat thing and now I don't understand this.
Let me ask you this.
Dummy.
Okay.
Let me ask you this.
Washington state.
They're thinking about getting rid of Washington, George Washington on their flag.
Yeah.
Because they say, rightfully so, George Washington has nothing to do with their state.
Right.
So there's a whole.
hole in the state where Washington once was.
And somebody's making money.
When they remove him.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But they might notice the name of the state is similar.
It's similar.
But it's not.
It's not the same.
It's not the same.
I think it's,
I think it was named after like Bob Washington.
Yes.
Yes.
He was one of the first timber fellers.
Really?
Yeah.
Tim, he was a timber feller?
He was a timber feller.
He helped create the hole.
Not a timber lady.
He's a timber feller.
Yeah.
Well, at one point, he was a lady.
Now he's a...
Yeah, but now he's a...
But you just dead shamed him.
And I'm really...
Darn it.
Man.
This is really hard.
It's very difficult.
It's created a lot of problems.
Just one more song.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Side are you on?
Which side are you on?
Hey, everybody.
Which side are you on?
Which side are you on?
I'm doing this without looking to my phone too.
Whix?
I...
Oh.
We'll fight against George.
We'll fight.
Divi.
Musk!
No, we land scab within our walls.
We'll fight from dawn to dust.
That was beautiful.
Which side are you on?
Which side are you on?
Hey, hey, hey.
Which side are you on?
Which side are you on?
Which side are you on?
That was beautiful.
Man.
And I feel the energy out on the streets to go and sing those kinds of songs and stand in the cold in Washington.
Don't you feel it?
It's electric in America.
People are just wandering around going, I don't know what to do.
I can't even feed my children because all the stores are closed because of Doge.
What do I do?
What do you do?
Whose side are you on?
Okay, it's that simple.
Thank you, Pat.

Glenn Beck.
We'll be right back.
Welcome to the Lendbeck program.
We got a couple of things happening next hour.
We're going to talk about, does the United States want to leave NATO?
Did I say that out loud?
Do you?
You're that far on it?
Yeah, the way they are behaving right now, I don't think we have a lot in common with NATO,
with the direction the leadership is going.
And yesterday, Starmer in England said, you know, we'll put boots on the ground.
in in Ukraine if we have to.
Not me.
No, I mean, we've been promised over and over again.
We would not be doing that.
So no, we will not be doing that.
We don't have to leave.
I mean, it'd be nice if they did, if they paid for most of it, you know, we can be there as a helper.
It still is a pretty big deterrent.
Yeah, it is.
I will say.
To what?
To Russia.
To places like Russia.
Yeah.
For example.
You know, Russia.
I think, again, I mean, they're pretty clear about that and that they don't want Ukraine joining it for that reason.
Sure.
Because they want to go into Ukraine and they don't want to start a war with NATO.
Sure.
But that probably means they don't want to go into Finland or they don't want to go into Poland as well.
So I don't know.
I mean, I do think there are problems with the organization.
I don't know that leaving it or having it dissolve is necessarily a good outcome for the world, though.
Well, I don't, you know, I don't see us doing that unless they just,
just become, you know, dead set against the things that we stand for, which is freedom of speech,
which they are doing right now. I worry about, I worry about Europe. I think Europe is they're not
listening to their people. And, you know, when you get somebody to rise from a populist movement
in, let's say, people, places like Germany, it could not be good. It might be okay, but it also
could be a really bad thing.
But the longer they remain not listening and responding to the populace, the higher those odds go.

Oh, America, welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
I've got a fantastic story to share with you.
I read about it the other day and call up Sean Spicer and like,
can you come on to tell this story?
It's so satisfying, so satisfying.
But we're going to start in the Wayback Machine.
We're going to go back a few years.
before there was a court case or anything else,
and Sean Spicer was just serving his nation.
We'll get to that in 60 seconds.
First, what are you looking at when you walk down the meat aisle?
The grocery store.
You're looking for a good price, of course,
some high-quality meat that you can feed your family with pride.
How about raised in America?
Are you looking for that?
Every cut of meat from good ranchers, beef, chicken, pork,
all raised right here in America.
It's free from hidden additives like antibiotics, hormones, even seed,
oil's just American meat. And they're upholding the values of tradition because when you shop
with good ranchers, you're directly supporting local farms and local ranches here in the United
States. These are the people who have been feeding us for generations now and good ranchers is
working to keep them in business. Can you help and get a great price on meats, chicken, fish,
wild caught salmon, every box for a year plus $25 off. When you subscribe to Good Ranchers, it's not too
late to start this new year off right. It's Good Ranchers. New year, new meat offer. Good Ranchers.com.
Good Ranchers.com. Good Ranchers.com. American Meat. Delivered. My friend, Sean Spicer,
how are you? I'm fantastic. How are you? I'm so good. I'm so good. I don't want you to tell the end of the
story yet. I want you to start. No, no. Yeah, I want you to start at the beginning. What happened when you left
the White House and Biden took over his president?
I'll make you back one step further.
Okay.
So I stepped down as White House press secretary and the president has always been kind and
and offered to appoint me to a couple boards.
He appointed me to two of them.
One of them was the White House commission on fellows as a commissioner there.
And then he also was kind enough to make me one of his appointees to the board of visitors
of the U.S. Naval Academy.
So I was sworn into office.
Joe Biden comes into office.
And so on January 20th,
myself and all of the White House commissioners
at that fellowship committee resigned
because it's a White House commission
and the new president has a right
to have people for White House commissions.
Fair enough.
Well, September 1st, I get an email of 2021
and it says, Dear Mr. Spicer,
thank you for your service
in the U.S. Naval Academy Board of Visitors.
By 6 o'clock tonight,
please submit your resignation or you will be fired.
And I thought to, whoa, what?
Now, just for context, remember Glenn, September 1st, my term ended November 1st, 60 days later.
I was like, you couldn't wait 60 days just to have it for free.
So I was like, I'd been sworn in the office.
My term was, you know, ended that time.
And I obviously wasn't going to get reappointed.
Biden had his right to appoint his people.
Great.
So it turns out that he fired everybody, myself from the name.
Naval Academy Board, Russ vote from the Naval Academy Board, and then a guy named H.R. McMaster
from the West Point Board, who by the way, H.R. McMaster, you remember, was a National Security
Advisor to Trump, three-star Army General, who was a graduate of West Point, a distinguished professor
at West Point, and the Friday after that Tuesday email was going to be honored at West Point as a
distinguished alumni in their awards ceremony. So, anyway, he fires September 1st. I don't resign. I said,
if you, I'm not resigning, you can fire me if you want. And then Stephen Miller in America
First came to me and said, we have an idea. I said, okay, what's the idea? He goes, we want to sue
Biden. Now, Glenn, I'm not a lawyer. Right. And I said, guys, I watch a lot, a lot of law and order,
but how in God's earth, if we sue the guy in September, I mean, my term ends November 1st.
We're never going to get back on the board. And they said, no, no, no, let's go to court and make Joe
Biden argue that he has the absolute authority to fire anybody.
And because we're not going to win the case.
They'll rule against us.
And I was like, oh, this is brilliant.
The only people, but here's the kicker, the only people who were willing to put their
name on that lawsuit are myself and Russ vote of all of the other people that were
so honored that President Trump had appointed them.
And they went to everyone and said, hey, well, you sign on to this.
And they said, uh, thanks, we're busy.
vote. So the case became Spicer et al v. Biden. It goes up to the court. The court says the president
has the absolute authority to that. We appeal the decision. It goes to the appeals level. And the court
again reaffirms the decision that Joe Biden and the president of the United States had the absolute
authority to fire anyone. And the media started calling Glenn and they go, you lost the case. And I said at
the time, did I?
So Donald Trump gets elected.
And this is where it gets really fun.
You'll love this.
And now you know the rest of the story.
Here it comes.
Thank you, Paul Harvey.
So I write this story in this op-ed for the New York Post saying, hey, guess what?
Spicer v. Biden has given President Trump the authority to fire anyone he wants.
I hope that President Trump executes it.
And the White House is tweeting, you know, sending me messages back.
Guess who we just fired?
Guess who we just fired it?
I'm living in this glory.
Well, I write this piece for the New York Post explaining, hey, here's what we did.
Here's the legal basis.
All of these people who are about to get fired by Trump should thank President Biden for this.
Now, here's where it gets fun.
The New York Post in the editing process says to me, okay, well, was it just the service academies?
And I said, no, they had the right to fire.
And they said, well, give us some examples of commissions that the president can appoint to.
There's like a couple hundred or two.
And I start reading one of the editors.
I said, well, they could fire, you know, there's the Battlefield Commission, there's the Truman Scholarship, there's the Kennedy Center.
She goes, put that in the op-ed, put that, people will identify with that.
And then we went, we added a couple other examples to the op-ed.
So the op-ed gets published in the New York Post, and it gets a lot of coverage, whatever.
And President Trump continues to fire people, and when they fire the board of the Kennedy Center,
the Washington Post calls, you know, the spokesman for the Kennedy Center.
And he says, are you going to be opposing President Trump firing you?
And on the record, the spokesman for the Kennedy Center says, we can't.
Spicer v. Biden sets the precedent for this, gives the president the authority to do this.
Now, here's the kicker.
The Washington Post called me and says, what do you think about what the Kennedy Center saying?
Now, I have a hard enough time keeping up with President Trump.
I don't focus on what the Kennedy Center is saying.
I'm sorry, that's really not my thing.
So I said, I don't know.
And they go, are you serious?
You don't know that they just cited your case as the reason that they can't oppose or object to what President Trump just did?
And I said, oh, my God, that's amazing.
I'm glad to have played a small apartment.
A day later, the reporter calls me back and says, I went in red all of the court documents.
And you're right.
And I said, of course, what do you mean?
Yeah, I wasn't lying to you.
And he said, I've got to write this big story.
And I said to my team at the time, my family, I was like, oh, my God, this is not going to go well.
The Washington Post wants to write a story about Spicer v. Biden and why it's given the president, the authorities.
And then I get a text and it says, hey, we're running, we're putting the story up.
And I go, oh, like, these don't, these things don't end well for people like me and people like you.
It's like, you don't get that, it's like getting a call from the IRS.
Yeah.
It doesn't go well.
And they go, hey, I'm from the Washington Post and I'm writing a story about Glenn Beck.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Yeah.
So I click on the story and I'm reading and I'm like, okay, okay, okay,
like when's the bad part coming?
And the only part is I normally, you know, there's that phrase, Glenn,
where people say that they hate watch MSNBC or something.
Yeah, yeah.
And I hate, I hate read the comments.
I had to do it.
I had to do it.
I normally will not read the comments.
I don't read the Twitter replies, whatever.
But I read the comments.
And these snowflakes, they're so offended.
Vicer's an evil person pursuing the president.
I'm like, wait a second.
Context, never in the history of the United States had any president ever removed somebody
from a service academy board prior to their term being done for anything less than malfeasance.
And even that, we can't find an example.
Never.
Joe Biden was so pet at me.
The comments, there's like thousands of comments when you click on the Washington Post story.
I posted it on all my social media stories
if someone wants to go read it.
And I was like, wait a second
you're mad at me.
They're like, I can't believe you did this.
And I'm like, wait, wait, wait, I did nothing.
I literally had 60 days to go.
I'm sure I would have gotten some little, you know,
medallion from the Naval Academy said,
thanks for your service, be on your way.
And yet, here they are.
Like, all these snowflakes putting comments
in the Washington Post that like, I'm the bad guy.
Because why?
Because I stood up and said,
said, hey, you want to argue that you have to do this, then give a future Republican president.
Now, at the time, myself and Russ Vote had no idea that President Trump hadn't even declared
for re-election yet. But we thought to ourselves, hey, you know what? We'll stand up now.
Like I said, I watch a lot, a lot in order, but that's my legal prowess here.
So the idea that this case now, which we thought at the time, hey, let's try it, has now
become the basis for which President Trump can run around and say, you're fired, legit, is amazing.
And I'm just, I'm like, the post wrote in the story that I was giddy.
I think that's an understatement.
I am so ecstatic that not just that President Trump can execute on this strategy and that it was
Joe Biden that set the president and gave us this gift is such sweet poetic justice.
You know, whenever anybody tries to force their way, it never ends well.
Everends well.
But think about this.
They tried to deep platform Trump.
They censored him.
They took them off the ballot.
They sued him civilly and criminal.
And it just, it's backfire.
Backfire.
Backfire.
Backfire.
Learn your lesson, folks.
Like, I just, to me, I get such a kick out of this because these dumb-dums keep thinking,
if we just go after one more time, it'll work.
And it doesn't.
So what is the strategy now?
Do you think they have?
I mean, because none of this is working.
I hope that it's continuing.
I mean, I just love the fact that they keep trying, they double down on stupid.
And they're like, what if we just try it one more time?
And I'm like, God bless you.
But the idea that's just at some point, you know, you take, I was, I was, take the loss and just say, let's regroup, let's retreat.
He's not running again.
Maybe we stop making it about him and we think about what we're for.
I don't tend to give a ton of advice to the Democratic Party, but at some point recognize it for 10 years.
You've tried to say that Donald Trump's the problem.
we're going to come up against them, and it hasn't worked.
So maybe, just maybe, you try to rethink this whole strategy.
So I don't really care.
That's their problem, not much.
I, you know, I performed at the Kennedy Center 10, 12, 15 years ago.
And it was like it almost took an act of Congress to make that happen.
I mean, you can rent out the Kennedy Center and do whatever you want on there.
Well, they had a problem with me.
And they told me at the time, I was the first show ever done at the Kennedy Center that displayed the American flag on stage.
I found that incredible.
But I don't care what happens at the Kennedy Center.
It doesn't matter to me.
But the left is freaking out.
They're just freaking out.
See, here's the thing.
There's a bigger arc that I think is taking place.
In the first term, we were somewhat apologetic.
We were like, you know, remember, just think about this.
And remember, the Kennedy Center is just one thing.
So President Trump can keep firing everybody.
But when in 2017, we came in office, the Kennedy Center honors, right, which is supposed
to be this annual thing where all these leftists and awards and they celebrate each other,
they said, we won't come if Trump shows up.
And so Trump was actually magnanimous and said, you know what?
I just, you guys go on, have your event, I won't go.
Okay.
And I think that there was a lot of feeling around and trying to,
understand the trappings. And like I said, it was, it was just, it was new. What do we do? How do we
approach this? This term, he says, screw it. You're all fired. I'm taking over the board.
I'm in charge. I'm putting my people. And I love it. This idea that we have learned.
And this is what I mean about the arc. It's that don't be, don't be, you know, don't be afraid.
Don't be apologetic. Fight. Go out there. Why are we seating ground at the Kennedy Center?
why isn't that Glenn Beck is the only person that puts an American flag on it?
Why aren't we saying, you know what?
Let's bring in more people who do that.
Let's be proud.
Let's be patriotic.
Let's use this institution to celebrate America.
But I don't understand.
The mentality is so different now.
It's let's fight.
Let's do this.
I think it's absolutely fantastic.
I thank you for what you did.
And the only thing that would make it better is if you or I were on the board of the Kennedy
Center and we could announce that Lee Greenwood's residency was now taking place at the Kennedy Center.
I think you, like, just so you know, now that you've, like, that's definitely not going to be
the last time that we hear that.
You can take credit for it, but I have a feeling that we would be leading the residency of like
several other country artists that come into to play there.
Thank you so much.
I appreciate it.
John Spicer.

Somebody's got to make a meme for that.
Can you imagine how they would freak out?
They just freak out.
I don't know what they expect us to do.
You know, what are they, what are they?
Well, it's just going to be people with banjos up there playing all the time.
Well, banjos.
I thought that was artistic.
I thought we should appreciate those kinds of things.
I know NPR will have banjo bluegrass nights from time to time.
Is that not belong at the Kennedy Center?
I mean, what do they expect us to do?
That's why I really want a meme of Donald Trump announcing Lee Greenwoods.
residency at the Kennedy Center.
I would not be surprised if that happens at all.
And they would believe it.
The left would absolutely believe it.
I would believe it and would not be surprised if it happens at all.
I don't know if residency.
But I have absolutely a show?
Oh, of course he would do it.
And what's wrong with that?
There's nothing wrong with that.
I mean, he should be able to.
You remember the trouble we had getting into the Kennedy Center?
It was impossible, basically.
And it was all history.
It was all legitimate.
There was nothing in it that was.
was anti-anything.
They want these institutions, though, right?
They want institutional capture very important on the left.
And the arts are probably the place they've targeted the most.
And, you know, I mean, they've succeeded largely.
They have succeeded.
And it's time to push back against those things.
I mean, to me, honestly, the Kennedy Center, what we should do with it is listed on Zillow, frankly.
I know.
And get rid of it completely.
There's no reason for to even have anything like that.
But especially when it has to do with the federal government, someone will take that over privately and they'll be happy.
And they'll make a lot of money with it.
Sure. Or lose a lot of money. I don't care.
Yeah.
But the bottom line is that it shouldn't be the business of the federal government at all.
But considering it is, it should be at the very least representative of the country, right?
Not just a left-wing-only institution.
What about Lee Greenwood as the Phantom of the Opera?
There's a show.
I like it.
You can direct it.
Are you going to get on the Kennedy Center board or what?
Oh, I would kill to.
I would kill to be on the board.
I mean legitimately should be.
I legitimately should be.
I mean, seriously, it would be a really good choice.
You're one of the very few conservatives who have taken art seriously for decades.
You legitimately were on the 100 most important people in the world of art by a real art magazine several years ago.
You have, I mean, you sell paintings for more than Hunter Biden can even sell them for.
Like, legitimately, you should be on that.
That would be a really, a really good thing, I think.
I love that.
If this thing is going to exist, you should be on that board.
Well, I think they already have appointed all members of the board.
Kick somebody out.
Yeah. Expand the board.
Do whatever you need to do.
I'm the person that could bring the residency of Lee Greenwood to the Kennedy Center.
You know, you couldn't put me on a board
Because I would want to do things like that
Just to drive them insane
Oh, and that's totally inconsistent
With the way Trump thinks
That's what he lives for
What are you talking about?
We absolutely, you seriously,
like there should be a movement
To get you on that board
You do it, I mean, number one,
You would actually take it seriously
And you would do a good job
And also, you would have many ideas
that were serious ideas that would piss the left off to no end.
This is what you were made for.
Oh, yeah, it would.
Your entire life is leading to this moment.
You should absolutely be on this board.
Well, I wrote the president a letter yesterday and posted it,
and Elon Musk retweeted it right away and said, yes.
And I was asking for a role in something else that he's doing.
And there's a chance he just might do it.
Maybe not with me, but there's a chance he's going to do this.
I'll talk about it in the next break.
Stand by.

It's almost like great minds think alike
and then I think that way sometimes too
because Elon Musk this weekend said we should go in
and see the gold reserve.
On Friday, I gave Ricky a letter that I
wanted to send to the president
and ended up sending it yesterday morning
because it needed edits.
But anyway,
It just said, I want to read it to you.
Dear President Trump, I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits in the years that I've had the privilege of observing and reporting on your leadership.
One thing has remained abundantly clear.
You are a man who values transparency, accountability, and the right of American people to know the truth about their government.
It's in that spirit that I'm reaching out to you with a request of historic significance, one that could restore the faith in our financial system,
silence speculation and reaffirm the trust in the American people in the foundational intent.
of our economy. For decades, the question of America's gold reserves has been a subject of
controversy. Fort Knox, the vaults at the Federal Reserve and other depositories reportedly
housed the gold, the gold reserves that underpin our nation's financial security. Yet,
though on paper, America is the world's largest holder of gold, there has been no full
independent audit of these reserves in over 70 years.
This is led to widespread speculation, conspiracy theories, and growing distrust in our institutions.
At a time when Americans are most skeptical than ever of their government and financial elites,
a simple yet profound act of radical transparency could be a game changer.
I'm asking you for the opportunity to bring a camera crew under the strictest security measures
to document and verify the presence of America's gold reserves.
This would not be a spectacle or a stunt, but a serious.
journalistic endeavor to restore confidence in what should be an unquestionable truth,
that the wealth of the American people is indeed intact and accounted for.
The implications of this cannot be overstated.
Restoring trust in our monetary system,
with inflationary concerns rising and increasing discussions about digital
currencies and central bank interventions,
proving the existence of our gold reserves would reinforce the strength and stability
of the U.S. dollar.
B. shutting down speculation.
From Wall Street insiders to everyday citizens, many have questioned whether the gold we
claimed have is actually there.
A definitive answer provided through an open and verifiable process would put an end to decades
of uncertainty.
C. Defining Act of Transparency.
You have long been the champion of exposing corruption and inefficiency in our government.
What better way to demonstrate your commitment to the people?
than by doing what no administration has done in nearly a century,
opening the doors to America's vaults and letting people see the truth for themselves.
As someone who has spent my career seeking the truth,
I believe this moment is not about gold.
It's about reaffirming the principles of honesty and accountability that made America great.
If our reserves are indeed secure, as the government claims,
there should be no reason why the American people cannot see them with their own eyes.
I understand the sensitivity surrounding national security,
but I am more than willing to work within the necessary parameters
to ensure that this is done in a responsible manner.
But I firmly believe that this is a unique opportunity for you to demonstrate once again
that you stand with the American people against the forces of secrecy and unchecked power.
I'd welcome the opportunity to discuss this further at your convenience
and explore how we can make this a reality.
This could be a defining moment in your legacy of fighting for transparency and putting America first.
Thank you for your consideration, sincerely, Glenn Beck.
Sent that letter to the White House yesterday, and I also tweeted it.
I would love for you to retweet.
Immediately, Elon Musk retweeted it and said yes.
And Senator Mike Lee got into the fray.
somewhat because people were saying, oh, that's not true.
They haven't.
No, there hasn't been full transparency since the 1950s.
In 19, I think it's 1974, they let some senators in without camera crews to verify that,
yeah, the gold is there.
Well, that's not an accounting.
Where is the accounting of our country's gold?
And I'm pulling these numbers out of my butt here.
So don't hold me to these exact numbers.
but in like 1940 we had like 697 million ounces of gold.
Okay, that's a lot of gold.
It's my understanding we're down to about 160 million ounces of gold.
Okay, I think, I'm not sure, but I would do my homework on this.
I think most of that is because we are, we rebuilt Europe.
We took our resources and sent it back to Europe to rebuild Europe.
Don't know if that's what happened to it, but those numbers are out.
So there's something that is clearly that happened, and it was all on the up and up, I believe.
But those 167 million ounces of gold are those at Fort Knox?
They say half of it is underneath the streets of New York in the federal
reserve vault where they are holding it for us.
I'm not really comfortable with the Federal Reserve holding our cold.
I don't know why we wouldn't have it in Fort Knox, but that's a different story.
But both of them need to be audited, audited, meaning somebody needs to go in and count every brick.
And not just count up and across.
Right.
You take each brick, weigh it, and do an analysis on it, and count it, and put it
back in. It'd be fascinating. I mean, it's been a while since we had an Al Capone's
vault type of special, and we can go in there and there just be like papers on the floor,
and it'll be fascinating. Yeah, that would be, it was a letdown with Al Capone.
Not on this one, in this one. It would be big news. It would be big news if there was nothing in the
vault. Yes. And I don't know. I mean, I, it's hard to know exactly what's going on with all
that, but we should know. And honestly, like, they have this bill coming up, this reconciliation
bill, I think it would be very easy to put in there an annual, a bi-annual review to check this out and make sure it's all in there.
Do you know that nobody knows, no one single person knows how to get into the vault?
It's like several people that have their portion of opening the door at the vault.
So it takes several people to open it.
Really?
Yeah.
I mean, I just love, just for, I mean, and they wouldn't show that to us, you know, you know, and here's what you do.
next to open the vault.
I mean, they're not going to show that,
but it would be fascinating to know the security just on that building.
Do they have a get smart type of thing going on?
Yeah, you get into a phone booth and you go down.
Yeah.
They should just put that in even if it's not necessary.
Right.
Right.
We're wasting money on so much other stuff.
Why not this?
We spent, what, $10 million on people getting circumstized in Mozambique?
Right.
We can't get a phone booth?
Why not get a cool phone booth?
Yeah.
That whole situation with the social security numbers where there's millions of people that
are like 130 years old that are,
have social security numbers and are technically still in the books.
They say, you know, it's actually not that big of a deal that, you know, they've been,
a lot of it is, you know, it's just paperwork stuff and they're not actually receiving payments.
I think it's something like 98% of the people over 100 are not receiving payments.
Now, it does indicate that there's probably a few people that are and we should find out who is
on that list because there are some people that actually, of course, are over 100.
years old. So some of those should be fine, but we should be able to check that out pretty quickly.
And they're like, you know, the question is cost benefit analysis here. It's like the benefit really
just to take a bunch of, you know, numbers off of a list doesn't really do much good for the American
people and it would cost five to $10 million to do it. Why? Why would it cost $5 to $10 million?
Let's just start here. Everybody over 130, you just immediately delete. If one of them says,
hey, what's going on with my Social Security payments?
I want them in the world record book.
If I want them in the world record book, let's meet them.
And let's triple their payments until they die.
Just for fun.
You know, maybe at 1.30, we automatically triple your payments if you can make it that long.
At 105, I'm thinking about doing that.
Okay, fine.
Congratulations.
You made it to 105.
At 110, I cut you off.
But, like, there's no secondary question as to why it would cost five to $10 million
to remove a bunch of names from a list of people who can't pop.
possibly be alive? That's going to cost us $10 million? It's like when they always say that
with the wall. It was like, it's going to cost $10 million a mile. Why is it going to cost $10 million a
mile? I mean, it's just absurd. And they keep doing these things to us over and over and over
again. And the left, of course, puts all sorts of weird restrictions on it. It's not as if every
single thing you see. Because when you see, oh gosh, there's people that are 190 years old.
with social security numbers that are active,
the immediate thought, understandably, would be,
okay, well, that's a real scheme
and someone's stealing money or whatever.
In reality, there are government reports on this
that say that those people,
it doesn't seem like they actually are receiving money.
It's just a record-keeping thing.
But like, why not clean it up?
Take 10 minutes.
That's a 10-minute database delete.
So the story that's going around with this
is that Elon Musk repeatedly claim
that he found all.
kinds of fraud in Social Security.
But I look at the quote, and in the Oval Office press conference, he said a cursory examination,
so first examination of Social Security, we got people out there that are 150 years old.
Now, do you know anybody at 150?
I don't know.
They should be in the Guinness Book of World Records.
So that's a case where I think they're probably dead.
Now, the articles that I'm reading immediately go into, that's just the broken.
system. There's nobody was 150 that's scamming the, you know, the system. That money is,
well, you don't know that for a fact. Just like you can't say Elon Musk. Elon Musk can't come out and
say massive fraud. You can say massive fraud if all of these numbers are still active and paying
out. You could say that. It would be massive fraud. You can't say it's not massive.
fraud. You can say it probably isn't, but this war on words is just insane because what
Stoja said is the point. Why do we have a question on it? There was a story out today,
$4.7 trillion not marked for anything from the Treasury Department. Now, Elon Musk didn't
find this. His people who are working with Treasury people, they're the ones who
found this and brought it to the attention.
And what it means is there's $4.7 trillion of checks where it doesn't, you know,
where it says at the bottom next to your signature, four, nothing's filled in in that space.
They'd have no idea what $4.7 trillion where it went, what it was for.
Now, that could be fraud.
But shouldn't we know?
shouldn't we just look into that?
I mean, I don't understand how people are fighting against this tooth and nail
unless you have something to hide, unless you're afraid something that you've been doing.
This is why the number one search five times more than any place else.
The number one search in Washington, D.C.

Maybe somebody is like, uh-oh, maybe they're going to find something that we're doing.
I don't know.
Could be that.
Could be.
Let's follow through and find out what's really happening.

Glenn Beck will be right back.
Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
We are so glad that you are here.
Thank you so much for listening.
You know, the thing on the gold that we have to be very, very aware of and why it is important is we are talking about putting more assets on our balance sheet.
So in other words, I mean, we're not broke if you want to count all.
of the oil that we have in Alaska.
You put that on our balance sheet, and that takes a lot of debt worry away.
So they're looking at rebalancing everything.
But when you go in and look at the gold, you have to make sure that all of the gold is marked U.S. Treasury.
When we, when, I saw not us, when the Federal Reserve returned the gold of Germany to Germany,
they demanded it be released from New York, sent back to Germany.
It took us about two years to transfer that, but they got it.
But when they got it, it wasn't stamped German.
It had been re-poured.
Why?
Why?
Why wouldn't you return the German gold to Germany?
The speculation is, is re-hypothication that we have used this gold for several countries
and just kept counting our gold and their gold is our gold and our gold and their gold as their gold.
And there's not enough money to, there's not enough gold to cover all of it.
And that all of the countries were in on it.
And that a lot of this gold is not there anymore.
I hope that's not true.
But I don't trust the Federal Reserve at all.
And I don't think we should.
They've been, they've been the ones who have brought us this golden, golden,
era of the stock market where the rich just keep getting richer and the average person is struggling.
That's the Federal Reserve.
I don't think we trust them with our gold.
More in just a second.
Hello, America.
Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
Back in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, Tom Brokaw narrated a special about the allyship between Canada and the U.S.
And here's part of what he said.
In our darkest hours, Canada has been with us.
On September 11th, as the United States shut down its airspace,
Canada instituted Operation Yellow Ribbon,
landing 239 U.S.-bound flights with 33,000 passengers at 17 different Canadian airports.
And then, amid the uncertainty that followed,
entire communities housed and fed those thousands of passengers for days afterward.
Long history of sovereign neighbors, there never has been a relationship as close, productive, and peaceful as the U.S. and Canada.
We share a continent and so much more.
Speaking before the Canadian Parliament, President Kennedy summarized the relationship this one.
Geography has made as neighbors.
History has made us friends.
Economics has made us partners.
And necessity has made us allies.
said Kennedy, let no man put us under.
Do we still feel that way about Canada?
I mean, I do.
I don't know if they feel that way about us right now.
And here's maybe the most important.
I don't really care.
I really don't care.
But we're going to go into what's happening in Canada and Europe.
Is Donald Trump getting out of NATO?
And is that a good idea or a bad idea?
We go there in 60 seconds first.

up in Canada. Ezra Levant. Hello, Ezra. How are you?
It's great to be on the show. You know, I love America and I love Canada too, and I don't think I have to choose.
I also love Trump, by the way. And so it's been a bumpy few weeks because Trump said,
hey, Canada, fix your border problem or we're going to slap you with tariffs. And when you think of
open borders, you think the Mexican border, right? And it's true, the vast majority, numeric,
of the smuggling of people and drugs is from the Mexican side.
But Canada is not perfect. It's getting worse.
There's actually more would-be terrorists that are nabbed on the northern border than the Mexico border.
A lot of Chinese as well.
Exactly.
And the cartels are active in Canada, including not just the Mexican cartels, but there's big meth labs being found in Canada every week.
Here's the thing.
If you look at the announcement that Trump made, this was back, I think, in November.
He said, look, by the time I'm inaugurated on Jan 20, I want you, Mexico and you, Canada, to basically do the preparatory work to seal the borders, start working on it now.
Or else, I'll slap you with a tariff.
So I think a grown-up would say, okay, he wants us to seal the borders.
We should probably do that in our own interest anyways.
And he's got an or else in there that maybe stings a bit, but let's just do the work, because it's in our interest, too.
trouble is Trudeau said,
no, I'm not going to seal the border.
I'm not going to crack down on illegal migrants and illegal drugs,
even though that's something we should do.
I'm going to focus on the or else,
and I'm going to get into sort of a staring contest
with an ally 10 times bigger than us.
And I've watched Trump's announcement.
He wants the border fixed.
The tariff is the or else.
But here's the thing, and I don't know if Trump really thought about this
because he's dealing with bigger fish,
Like he's dealing with Ukraine.
He's dealing with Gaza, and he's dealing with the economy and the fires in L.A.
and getting his nominees through the Senate.
So he's dealing with huge things.
I don't think he's following the minutia of Canadian politics.
Because let me tell you one thing I think Trump didn't count on.
I mean, Trump's a master negotiator.
And the thing about a negotiation is the other guy, you know, you've got to be willing to walk away,
and you've got to make it so the other guy sort of doesn't want to walk away,
because his alternative is worse.
But here's the thing about Trudeau.
I don't know if you remember this, Glenn,
but in January, Justin Trudeau announced he was going to resign.
Yes.
And that's going to take effect on March 9th.
That's like three weeks from now.
So Trudeau doesn't have the interest of getting a deal.
He wants his final few weeks as Prime Minister to be, you know,
an epic superhero coming to save Canada.
He wants to be Captain Canada fighting against the big bad Trump.
he doesn't actually want a deal, Glenn, because that's boring and that looks like he's taking orders from Trump.
If he fights Trump, if he says, no, no, no, I don't want to spend a few billion on border security.
I want to get in a hundred billion dollar trade war.
See, Trump's not used to negotiating with a guy who actually wants to hurt himself.
But why would Trudeau want that?
Two reasons.
Number one, to change the narrative, he's the captain Canada, saving our country.
from the big bad Trump.
We've got a lot of Trump arrangement syndrome over here.
But number two, Trudeau has wrecked our economy through taxes and debt and inflation and cost of living.
So if Trump actually does bring in punitive tariffs, Trudeau can say, uh-huh, this is on Trump.
It's not me.
I didn't wreck the economy.
Trump did.
So the thing is Trump is dealing with a guy who's acting in bad faith.
Justin Trudeau wants a trade war.
He wants our countries to fight.
So let me ask you this.
I've been watching the reaction of some Canadians and they're like,
we're not going to become the 51st state.
Do you guys understand trolling?
Donald Trump, he's calling Trudeau the governor of the 51st state to minimize him as a mock of Trudeau.
We're not thinking about buying you.
We're not offering to buy you.
And we're certainly not sending troops up there to take you.
Do the Canadians just not understand that?
I think it's a combination because here's the thing.
For the last 10 years, Trudeau has tried to denature Canada.
Our founding prime minister is named John A. McDonald's, or John A. McDonald's, our version of George Washington.
He's on our $10 bill.
There's statues of him everywhere.
Trudeau stripped him off the $10 bill.
Trudeau presided over his statues being knocked down.
Trudeau has told us that we are a country that committed genocide against Indian people.
Trudeau calls us sexist, racist.
He says, and he told the New York Times, we have no core values.
We're basically a hotel.
So he changed our national anthem.
Who asked him to do that?
Like he's doing all these things.
He went on.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
He changed your national anthem from O Canada to what?
It's still O Canada, but he changed.
the words. And like, who else do that? He went on Anderson Cooper show and Anderson Cooper said,
well, tell me what's a Canadian. Okay, that's a question you'd expect a prime minister to answer.
He said, well, we're not Americans. That's not an identity. That's sort of a, that's sort of an
attitude. And so here's a guy who for 10 years has derided what it means to be Canada. And he's
given away citizenship to millions. So I think Trump, in his uncanny,
way, detected within Trudeau, a bit of an inferiority complex, a bit of a weakness.
And so that 51st state thing, governor thing, it actually stings because Trudeau has spent
10 years destroying our national identity. And Trump must have, because every time Trump says that,
it actually hurts because we have spent 10 years destroying what's made us Canadian.
And Trump figured it out.
So he's very good.
he's very good at knowing where people's weaknesses are.
I think that's one of his real skills in negotiating.
He knows what the other side is thinking and what they're afraid of.
Let me ask you this.
Are we, is this going to turn into something?
Well, you know, there was some booing.
There was a hockey game between our two.
No, we're very well aware of it.
Yeah.
And I think people are, some people are sort of startled because the idea of fighting with America is unthinkable.
Like we're, you really, you almost can't tell a difference between a Canadian and American other than how we pronounce a few words like a boot, the hoose.
Right.
How long you'll wait for health care.
Yeah, there's just a few things.
I mean, there are some differences, of course, but I can't think of two countries that are more similar.
Correct.
So the idea that we're in some battle with America, it's confusing to Canadians.
But here's the thing.
And let me just say a quick thing about the first 51st state.
You know how California is this huge electoral college that always goes, Democrat, every time?
Let me say this to my brothers in the United States.
You do not want another 41 million people who will vote Democrat.
Oh, we've made that point.
We've made that point.
I myself would be a Trump supporter in the heartbeat and maybe the province of Alberta, where I'm from would.
Right.
And by the way, I know you have some challenges with.
French, sorry, Spanish bilingualism, you know a quarter of our countries, French.
Oh, we know.
So, I mean, get ready for French to be spoken in your Congress.
I'm just saying, you know, there's probably a few details he didn't think about,
but let me tell you what actually matters.
I don't know if you know, but our free trade agreement that Trump renegotiated with Canada,
it already gives you everything you want.
We have 170 billion, with a B, barrels of oil in our oil sales.
hands, and you have access to it. You have preferential access to it. And so when Trump talks about
slapping that with a tariff, my phrase is, how's that American first? You're the customer.
You need that oil to displace the conflict oil. Yes. You're buying from OPEC. Yeah.
How about instead of slapping oil with a tariff, since that's just going to your refineries.
We're the number one source of American oil other than America. You make about half of your
own oil in Texas and other places. But the other half,
we're your number one source, then comes Mexico, then Saudi Arabia.
How about replace that OPEC oil with more Canadian oil?
And I know Donald Trump's a dealmaker, art of the deal.
Well, how about do a 50-year deal with Canada?
You could buy every one of those 170 barrels of oil, $170 billion.
And that would last you, 50 years, you would be able to displace every single foreign barrel of crude,
$13 trillion deal.
That's a bigger deal than Greenland.
You have access to that oil.
It's yours.
But most of the companies operating there are American-owned.
Even the Canadian companies, they're all listed on your American stock exchanges.
You own the companies that are making the money.
It's American all the way down.
And you don't want China to get access to that oil.
China's poking around Canada's oil sends.
What does China want?
China wants you to push Canada away.
Don't.
Don't, don't, don't, don't do it.
And I just, I think that Trump is shooting at Trudeau, but hitting us.
Don't do that.
I have a creative way to get back at Trudeau, but don't do it by attacking Canada.
What's your creative way?
Well, I'll tell you.
I mentioned before that Justin Trudeau said Canada has committed a genocide against our native peoples.
But he says that in the present tense.
He says, we are committing a genocide.
Really?
That sounds like a crime against humanity.
What if Trump were to issue an executive order saying,
taking notice of Justin Trudeau's confession that he is presiding over a genocide?
We hereby put sanctions on Justin Trudeau and his cabinet.
They may not enter the United States.
They may not fly over our country.
They may not do that.
So just like Trump is doing with that international criminal court,
they've wanted to arrest Natanyahu.
If you smack Justin Trudeau around, he loves going to New York.
He goes down to New York and parties and he sort of does, you know, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Trudeau loves going to America.
If you took that away from him, Trudeau would be floored.
Go after Trude.
You want to punish Trudeau?
Me too.
I got some ideas.
But don't see the Canadians.
Get all the oil you want.
Let's be good friends.
And by the way, you do a $13 trillion deal to buy all our oil for 50.
years. Now we got some money to build up our armed forces and be your best buddies again like we
were on D-Day. Like we were in Afghanistan. Ezra, hang on just a second. Because I want to switch
because Europe is freaking out about Trump saying, you know, I don't know, maybe we don't involve
ourselves in NATO anymore. What he said in Germany, or what J.D. Vance said in Germany was
absolutely right. The people of Germany looked like they were with the United States. But

Ezl Ravant from the Rebel News in Canada.
Did you see the speech by J.D. Vance last week and then in Germany?
You saw them both?
Oh, yeah.
When he was talking to the Munich Security Conference, and he just said,
look, why are you guys abandoning our values of freedom of speech?
And he gave lots of examples.
It was incredible.
And I think it really wobbled them a bit.
It shook them.
Oh, yeah, I did.
I mean, the guy who was, you know, head of the conference cried at the end, saying that we don't have anything in common with America anymore.
And I'm like, wow, that's quite a statement.
He was talking about freedom of speech.
But Canada, I looked it up.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
Well, I was going to say, the U.S.
Go ahead.
No, no, no, go.
Now neither of us are going to go.
Okay.
But Canada and the European Union, they're kind of headed in the same direction.
And I, it's, it's especially Europe, it feels like they're just an organ of the W.E.F.
And they're not listening to their people.
What happens if we, I mean, if we keep our values and they are opposed to our values, we're no longer allies, nor should we be allies?
I agree with you, but there's one difference between the EU and Canada.
The EU is largely unelected bureaucrats.
They have, you know, it's a terrible monster.
Whereas Canada, we are just weeks or at most months away from a new election.
And all the polls show that Trudeau's party, even if someone else leads it, will be thrown into the dustbin of history.
And a new conservative leader named Pierre Pollyev will win.
And he is very much friendlier to America.
He's pro-conservative, pro-Mexervative.
pro-military anti-woke. He's against the carbon tax. He's pledged to scrap it. He's pledged to get rid of our
state broadcaster, the CBC, which is very left-wing. So I'd say one huge difference is that Canadians
are waking up. The last poll I saw for Trudeau, until this latest superhero revival that he's
being able to do by being Captain Canada, he was as low as 16% in the polls. So we were sort of almost
done with Trudeau, but funny enough, Trump sort of pumped him up a bit by giving him the 51st
state battle to fight. Can I throw one more thing at you? Yeah, got about 90 seconds. In energy,
Europe buys a lot of its energy from Russia, which is why Russia could afford to evade Ukraine.
You're buying a lot of oil from OPEC. If you bought Canadian oil instead, you wouldn't have to be
so militarily deployed in the Persian Gulf. You could be there by choice, not by necessity. You
spend $50 billion a year on the U.S. Fifth Fleet defending the Persian Gulf Sea Lanes,
how about just fill up the Keystone Excell Pipeline and get Canadian ethical oil instead?
That's my counter-argument to the terrorists on Canada. Lean into the oil sands. Don't push them away.
Replace your OPEC conflict oil with Canadian ethical oil. And then if you want to play around
militarily in the Middle East, fill your boots. But you're not doing so just to be the security
guard to escort that oil to America.
You divide $50 billion a year into the oil America buys from the Persian Gulf.
It's like a hundred bucks a barrel in military costs just to get that oil.
This is my argument, Glenn, for our countries becoming closer friends, not pushing each other away.
You've talked me into it.
I think we launch military plans against Canada this afternoon and just take all that oil.
You don't need to.
You've already got all the access to it in the world.
It's already in mind by American companies.
I know.
Ezra, thank you so much.
Always great to talk to you.
blessings to you and Canada. Not Trudeau, but everybody up in Canada. We love you guys.
Thanks, my friend. You too. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. All right. There's one other thing that we really,
I'd like to get into here, and that is this rumor that's going around mainly in Europe,
that Trump is going to pull out of NATO. And I'm trying to work up passion to say no.
This is Glenn.
Beck. For far too long, the left is told expecting moms that the child inside them was nothing more than a clump of cells. Nothing more than that. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. We're glad you're here. There's a story about Ukraine today.
It is about all of our allies freaking over in Europe.
Not all of them.
Poland is fine.
But, Poland, or I'm sorry, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Netherlands.
They're like, well, we need a seat at the table for this Ukraine thing.
United Kingdom is the one.
Remember, it was Boris Johnson that went over and said, don't take the peace deal.
Don't do it.
Don't do it.
Well, we're going to let you into the room?
You weren't for peace then, and I don't think you are now.
But they're all claiming that they have to have a seat at the table.
And Donald Trump said, I don't think that's going to happen.
Why should they have a seat at the table?
It's between Russia and Ukraine.
And we're the ones making this happen.
And importantly, it's not between Russia and us.
No, we have a role in that because really without us, Ukraine has no defense.
I mean, is Europe going to step?
up and spend all those hundreds of billions of dollars. Well, they're trying to. And if they
want to, they can. Do you know they spend, if they're lucky, they spend three percent of their GDP,
lucky. I think Poland is the only one that is doing more than that and it's four percent. Most of them
do less than two percent of their GDP for defense. Do you know how much we spend on defense as a
percentage? Right. And that percentage, right? It's anywhere from 15 to 20 percent of our GDP.
fiscal years of spending has typically accounted for 15 to 20 percent of total federal budget.
Fiscal year 2023 of the budget.
That's different than GDP.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Sorry.
Sorry.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, of the budget.
Federal spending was approximately $6.2 trillion.
That was for 2023, 13.8%.
Yeah.
So we, yeah, that's which is, you know, we spend about $850 billion-ish on defense.
3.36 of GDP, right?
Yeah, that's about right, which is actually pretty low historically for us.
Yes. It was a lot higher. A Korean more rare double digits percentage.
Yes.
Yeah, I mean, look, look, this is quite clearly much more a European issue than an American issue.
That's not to say that we have no interest in deterring Russia. We do have an interest in that.
I do see that. I know that's not always the...
Are you willing to put boots on the ground to be peacekeepers?
No. I don't want anything to do with that. I want to stay away from nuclear war with Russia.
That's something I want to do.
Starmor is saying the United States needs to be there as peacekeepers.
Not a single boot goes on the ground. No. No. That's not happening. Not going to do it.
I mean, we've, honestly, I don't think there's anybody who wants that.
Europe does. Not Europe does. I'm talking about Americans. Poland. Poland is like, we're not doing that.
We're not putting any footprint in Ukraine. None.
Right. I mean, look.
Ukraine has to defend Ukraine.
If Europe wants to be the sugar daddy for that war, they can be the sugar daddy for that war.
And we won't really, like, I won't sit back and be like, oh, gosh, darn it, Russia is still getting attacked by Europe.
I'm not going to sit here.
I'm not going to worry about it all that much.
Russia is going to be being attacked by Ukraine still.
And that war keeps going on.
I don't think it's a good thing for the Ukrainian people.
I don't think it's a good thing for the Russian people.
I don't think it's good thing for the world.
But I do think that, you know, pushing back on Russia has.
some understandable benefits when you're talking about weakening whatever, one of the closest
countries that could compete with us as far as super power status.
That being said, my much larger concern is not being involved in a war with Russia.
I don't want to be in a nuclear war.
I don't want to be in the middle of that.
I don't want something that can spiral out of control in days, in minutes, and lead to
half of our country being destroyed by nuclear weapons and half of theirs.
That's just not something
I'm just staying away from that.
In every war game ever done by the Pentagon,
in every war game,
it is only ended in total nuclear annihilation,
the entire world.
No matter how it starts,
no matter where it starts,
once somebody launches a nuclear missile
within the first hour,
every missile has been launched,
no matter what they've tried.
That's terrifying.
Yeah.
It's terrifying.
And even if you're completely confident
in our side of things,
Right?
Yeah.
Which I know the left doesn't seem to be at all.
I don't know why they are so still pushing for this,
considering they think he's,
Donald Trump's a fascist dictator with a,
with a temper.
Right.
But even if you are convinced that Donald Trump will never launch,
you know,
a nuclear weapon in response to something that Vladimir Putin does,
you still have to be worried about Vladimir Putin.
Right?
Like, you can't sit here and be like,
oh, gosh, Putin should be fine.
He'll never do such a thing.
If he believes he's losing,
he very well might.
we are in a situation now that this has gone on for multiple years.
Ukraine had an opportunity with a counteroffensive that we funded,
and they, I'm sure, fought valiantly in that effort.
But it didn't work.
And now we're at a stalemate.
And if we can get this thing over with, I'm sorry, it sucks for them.
I mean, I don't even say that dismissively.
It does suck for them.
They got invaded and they're going to lose a giant chunk of territory on their eastern side,
if that's the way this thing settles.
sucks for them. It really does. But that being
said, our interest as
Americans, America first,
is to make sure we are not
drawn into a giant war against Russia
that might end up in a nuclear
conflict. Okay, two thoughts.
One, I believe
Donald Trump may be the
only president that is actually
America first, not just
some wuss, but actually
American first and a strong
president that would
not launch nuclear missiles.
I wonder, I mean, I hope we don't ever test it, but I wonder if somebody launched against us, if we would actually launch, because he knows what that means.
And he might just say, take it.
We lose a couple of cities.
Go launch.
I know.
That's a terrible thought.
No, it's not.
Not when you know how it always ends.
You know, you're saying it's not, you're arguing with me that it's not the worst thought.
which I would agree.
Yes, it would be horrible.
In some ways you could argue.
It would be horrible.
That it would be worse if it goes back and forth.
Of course it would.
Although, again, we are, if we just sit here and take nuclear weapons, I don't think we're in a good position either.
And probably not one that lasts.
No.
So either way, pretty much everybody's toast.
I know.
Which is why it always ends that way, right?
It's why it does.
It is.
The second thing is that why are we thinking, why are we thinking,
that our interests are aligned with Europe.
You know, the one thing that I think is happening in America right now is the whole world
is getting off one way or another of all of the deals that were made after World War II.
That's over.
Brexit.
I mean, not Brexit.
Bretonwood, you know.
Yeah.
NATO, you're saying?
And even NATO.
I think those are last century, a hundred years ago.
I think the world is changing so much.
And I think our allies have become the world economic forum.
I mean, the elites, not the people, but the elites in those countries, they're not listening
to their people.
They are not friends of freedom.
They are not going.
I mean, I wonder why we would protect them.
Well, I mean, look, we were aligned with a Soviet Union against the Nazis, right?
So we had very little in common with them.
Yeah, but these are.
our ally allies. We all, we held our nose on the Russians. No, it's true. And I think at some level,
we're beginning to hold our nose. That being said, you know, we always talk about the world changing.
You know, the world's not set up all that terribly for the United States. No, it's not.
I mean, we're kind of the ones winning this, even though it feels like we're losing ground,
which I think is true. We're still the superpower of the world. You still see the, you know,
Donald Trump is not magic. He's able to wield this power because it exists. Right.
And that is important to hold on to.
I don't think we really, like the grass isn't all that much greener in any other scenario.
Holding on to this world order the way it stands now and trying to defend it is what I think
Trump is trying to do.
Recognizing this is actually a positive for us, right?
We want to be, we want to be, we don't want to wield the power all the time.
We want to have the ability to wield it when we need it.
Correct.
But we have to fix our country.
All of us do.
We have to fix our country.
And right now, there's two paths, one that leads to the administrative state where unelected bureaucrats, just like in Europe, run everything.
And if you fall a foul of them, look out.
The other is freedom and a constitutional republic like ours that says, no, you work for us, government.
We don't work for you.
And while there are laws I can break, expressing myself or speaking out about a politician or whatever is not one of those things that is against the law here.
No.
And resetting to common sense.
Those are the two things.
If you get, I'm sorry, I'm going to say, the only thing I know him as is the apple eating politician from Canada.
Yeah.
You get him and you might have another ally.
You get Farage in England.
You might have another ally.
Malay.
I mean, there are some around the world that are.
There are.
Better than they used to be, certainly.
Maybe not perfect, but better than they used to be.
But until that time, man, I'm just not interested in spending our blood and treasure to protect people who admitted over the weekend tearfully.
in Germany that we don't really have anything in common with America anymore.
Holy cow.
What kind of reaction is that?
You're a man.
You're a German.
I mean, like, I know I'm talking to the guy who cried on TV all the time back in the day.
So, you know, I get that there's a little irony here.
But like, come on.
What are you talking about?
This is a guy saying, hey, you know, maybe you guys should watch where your free speech thing is going.
Watch how you're treating this.
Like, Vanskiy being very calm, rational.
case here. You might not agree with it. You don't have to agree with it. You're a sovereign nation.
But to go out and say, oh my gosh, we're going to cry about how the United States, which is being
consistent with its constitution and its principles and its culture and its traditions that have
existed for hundreds of years, you're going to start crying and whining about how, oh, I can't
believe we don't agree with them anymore. Yeah, because I think this is what they were so afraid
of. This is why they're canceling elections and everything else. They,
are terrified that the West, that the people will wake up and they'll say, wait a minute, no,
we're not doing that.
That's why Donald Trump had to be destroyed.
He's opened now Pandora's box of freedom.
And it's going to spread.
And they are terrified of it.
And they really have convinced themselves that they were right.
Well, what does this mean?
Because I keep hearing this, like, oh, Europe, this country, that country, they need their Donald Trump.
Look, if what they meant by that was actual Donald Trump or someone who was identical to Donald Trump, that would be a very good change for you.
Yes, yes.
How Europeans translate what they think Donald Trump is is terrifying.
But you know what makes that worse?
A government, which all of them are, that are stomping every day on the rights of their people and disenfranchising them even more.
Yes, I agree that makes it much worse.
I mean, you'll go for anybody.
You keep doing this to the people in Europe and in England.
They're going to rise up and you're not going to like who they picked to rise up against you.
I mean, they're the ones that will go for the strong man.
We have to watch our own tendencies here.
But at least we have traditions of a constitution and a bill of rights.
Now, I don't know how strong that is anymore, but it's at least a lot stronger.
They have nothing over.
there.
They are playing with fire and could set the whole world ablaze.
All right, back in just a minute.

More Glenn Beck coming up next.
Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
Glad you're here.
You know, we were just talking off the air about, you know, how do we save the country with budget cuts and everything else?
And you're just not going to be able to do it without cutting into things like Social Security.
And that doesn't mean that you cut people who are on it now, you know.
I mean, I'm 61.
the average death now for a guy is 77.
So when Social Security was put in,
the average lifespan for a man was 63.
You weren't intended on getting any of it.
Now 65.
Now if you're 60 plus, I mean, you planned your whole life around retiring at 65, okay?
But that needs to gradually change.
I knew Social Security was going to be insolvent when I was a kid.
I mean, Reagan talked about it.
I never expected Social Security to be my, you know, my only hope.
One little baby step on this, too, I will say, Glenn, is you are one year away from early eligibility for Social Security, which sounds crazy.
You don't seem like that at all.
Which is nuts, by the way.
You're nowhere near, like, wanting to retire.
I don't ever think I want to retire fully.
Right.
Right.
I would also add, in addition to this, you shouldn't have a.
any eligibility for social security.
I know.
You know, you know, you've done pretty well for yourself.
I'm willing to do that.
However, the unfairness of it.
Oh, like I've known my whole life, Social Security was going to melt down by the time I got here.
Yeah.
I've known that.
They've said that.
However, I've paid my whole life expecting it.
Now, because I'm a generous guy, that's fine.
I won't take it.
I don't need it.
However, that is a giant scam.
It is, although that's the weird thing about Social Security.
We look at it as something that is owed to us.
Every other government program, we pay taxes and are annoyed at it.
Yes.
And instead, with this one, they've twisted our mind.
FDR screwed with our mind and said, oh, no, it's actually a savings program.
No, it's not.
It's the same as every other dumb thing we pay taxes for.
Yes, I agree.
And a lot of it, you pay in and you get nothing out.
And that's how it works.
But you have to start with,
waste and mismanagement elsewhere before you even get there.
This is Glenn Beck.
