We're going to talk a little bit about what's happening. on our border, probably the most unpopular thing the president has done, not even most likely or likely, it is, according to polls. And that's saying something because that's a pretty low bar. It's his handling of the border. He's now giving everybody smartphones. Oh, well, so you get across the border, you get free health care, and you get free smartphones. That's fantastic. Now I

really want to go. The governor of Texas has decided, no, no, no, we're going to get tough. Really? Are you, Greg? We'll talk about that. And so much more. Also, Biden yesterday said again, if I'm going to war, I'm going to go with you guys. I don't know what that even means.

It was in context of Ukraine. Again, I don't know. The Hunter Biden laptop, now CBS says, 150 transactions by Hunter Biden were flagged as curious by U.S. banks. Really? I thought that was a fake. We began in 60 seconds. Boy, I don't know if you saw, but the Fed, in the Fed minutes yesterday, they talked about the next rate hike will be half a point.

They are going to, they're going to jack with these. And they're also saying that they are going to start selling off, you know, all of the things on their balance sheet because they got too much on their balance sheet. So we got to get rid of some of this stuff. Really? Who's going to buy it? Let me ask you that. Who is going to buy it? Oh, and by the way, what they're selling off their balance sheet are our treasuries because they had to buy the treasuries to be able to print the extra money. So they just printed it and took a treasury note and said, yeah, yeah, that's just legal.

That's legal. We're doing that. So now they have these trillions of dollars. Well, who's going to buy them? Especially now. Who is going to buy them? Well, somebody will buy them. But how much interest are we going to be on the hook for with all of the spending and all of these trillion dollars that the Fed just print it up?

How much? How much? You're going to pay. They're not going to pay. Right now, interest rates have gotten to a point to where they are in just the last couple of months suppressing people from buying houses at an enormous rate. All right. Thank you. Let me start with Joe Scarborough. Joe Scarborough yesterday came out and was very upset. that the Biden story, the laptop story had been suppressed by Twitter and Facebook. He was very

upset yesterday. Thought it was shameful. Here he is. Post comes out with it. They're the only one that comes out with it. And then it is banned on social media. That's bad. Yeah. That's horrific. That's bad. Because, again, it is, I think we have to, you know, you have to say.

It's a real story. Oh, wow. That is big of you. Thank you, Dan Abrams, for pointing that it is a real story. And you have to say that. And it was horrific what Facebook and Twitter did, according to Joe Scarborough. Now let me take you back into the time tunnel, tunnel, tunnel, tunnel, tunnel. To a time when Joe Scarborough's memory has been wiped clean. Here's a super classic from the same guy who said it was horrific.

That's what conservatives think they can lie through their teeth. These right-wingers think at Wall Street Journal editorial pacing. They can lie through their teeth and talk about Facebook having problems and Twitter having problems with a story that even the New York Post knew was a lie. They knew it was such a lie. We'll get to this. That they put a woman's name on the story reportedly that didn't even know her name was going to be on the story. The man who wrote that story knew it was such a lie. The New York Post knew it was such a lie that he refused to put his name on that story.

They published a series of lies penned to them by Rudy Giuliani who admitted that nobody else would take it, but Rupert Murdoch's New York Post. Okay. Because, all right. Thank you, Joe. It's weird. It's almost like what you were saying. there is horrific. Is that the same person? You're saying that person that you, the first clip and the second clip, the same person? Well, it's the same person, but he's kind of a chameleon. He goes wherever the

winds are going. You know what I mean? I'm a conservative. I hate conservatives. I love conservatives. I hate conservatives. That's true. That's not true. That's definitely not true. It's horrific. It's an outrage. You should go to jail. That seems to be totally true. That's Joe Scarborough. Those two clips are almost like a person who believes they can say absolutely anything and no one will ever notice. Yes. They just completely disagree with themselves. And you know what?

It's true because no one watches MSNBC. Okay. It's good reasoning then. Let me show you something that I was really kind of excited about when I first heard. I thought, yeah. And I'll tell you how it ends in a second. But first, here is cut eight. Governor Greg Abbott from the great state of Texas.

To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off by the Biden administration to Washington, D.C. Wow. We are sending them to the United States Capitol where the Biden administration will be able to to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border. Oh, it's done with such compassion.

Such. I mean, it was almost a little Rondocantus, wasn't it? And when I say a little, I mean, maybe like his pinky, I mean on his foot. And I think you can walk without a pinky. I think you could lose the pinky on your hands and your feet and you're fine. So when I say a little Rondesendez, I mean the appendages. that you could lose and still not notice. That's how much of Ron DeSantis he was.

Okay. Why is that? Because what he said, now listen carefully. Listen very carefully to what the governor said, because it was revealed later. But he knows, because listen to what he's saying. Played again. To help local officials.

Help local officials. Those communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration. Yeah. Texas is providing charter buses. Providing? To send these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off by the Biden administration. Okay.

So that sounds, what's wrong with that? What's wrong with that? That sounds great, doesn't it? The key word here is providing. Providing. We're providing tour buses. Okay. What are you?

We're upset about paying for it? No, no, no. No, no. These illegal immigrants need to volunteer to get on to the buses. Texas is providing to send them to the hellhole of Washington, D.C. Now, I mean, even if you don't speak a word of English, you hear Washington, D.C. As they're pointing to a bus, I don't get on that bus. I don't understand, though.

I've been told that illegal immigrants are treated terribly by Texas and wonderfully by Washington, D.C. Yeah, no, we're just... Why wouldn't they want to go to Washington, D.C. immediately? What? Wouldn't that be their priority? Because even if you're not in America, you don't want to go to Washington, D.C. I don't understand. We're told over and over again by the media, the people who treat illegal immigrants fairly are the people in the blue states and the blue communities who are embracing them and giving them all these programs.

Why wouldn't they want to go to Washington, D.C.? I don't understand. So now Ron Desan, Rick DeSan, Ron DeSantis, you're so well versed in this story. You almost know his name now. We're getting to the point where we think by the, well, I do know what it is. By 2024. Yeah. Election night. Yeah.

Ron DeSantis wins the presidency. I call him. You're going to. President DeSantis. There you go. That's how we solve this. You're never going to get the Rick and Ron thing out. Yeah, I've never.

But eventually, if he becomes president, you can say that. You know what you should do. Governor DeSantis. Governor DeSantis. There you go. Governor DeSantis. So anyway, Governor R. DeSantis. Governor, I don't know.

I don't know why you have a hang up on this one. I think it's Rick Santorum. I don't know why. I mean, I never think of Rick Centaur, but that's the only thing I can. Well, every time that you get this name wrong, I think of one specific thing. Yeah. Go ahead. Say it.

And there you have it. Another example of why Glenn Beck is in the Radio Hall of Fame. There it is. There it is. You're exactly right. Exactly right. Do you get his name wrong? I don't get his name wrong.

Are you in the Hall of Fame? I am not in the Hall of Fame. Enough said. Anyway, Governor DeSantis, you know, he said that he was going to send people up to Delaware, and it was great. He didn't because he tied it to those. ghost planes in the middle of the night. And he said, we don't know when they're coming in.

We would have to be prepared to meet them at the airport. So I don't know if that was a loophole that helped him get out of it or not. But he did say, when these ghost planes land, we are going to bust them and send them to Delaware. All right. If the United States government can take illegals and just dump them, into our border towns. These towns do not have the capability of doing it. I for one, as a Texan, am sick and tired of what this government, U.S. government, is doing to Texas. They are intentionally

doing this to Texas. And the entire country, don't get me wrong. Because they're hitting every state. They're hitting every state. So they're doing it to all of our communities. But I really really don't understand why we can't take people who the feds just dumped into a city have no connection to that city. I don't know why we can't pick them up, put them in a bus, and feed them well, treat them well.

They can all be singing the Flintstone songs along with John Candy and Steve Martin as they take their train, plane, or automobile some other place. A blue state. That does seem logical to me. Though I will say the legal aspects of this are always an issue, right? Then don't toy.

Don't dance around it. Then say, then the governor shouldn't come out and say, we're providing and then reveal the details. And oh, by the way, are the details? Right. But like, is Ron DeSantis doing this by force? No. So it might be. No, I know that.

I know that. But don't be a used car salesman. You're saying that. You didn't read the fine print. Right. You're saying that he's, the way he's announcing it, obviously, I think the average person would hear that announcement and say he's, when he finds an illegal immigrant, he's going to put them on a bus and ship them to Washington, D.C.

When in reality, he finds them, not when he finds them. They're being dropped off at city. I don't know if you've seen the interviews with the mayors of these border towns. Oh, they can't believe. And a lot of them are Democrats, by the way. And they are pulling their, the United States government is pulling these buses up and then just dumping them into these towns. Okay.

The town, there are more illegals in these towns than there are townsfolk. Okay. Right. I don't understand why the state can't say, yeah, this is out of control. You're going over here. And we're going to dump you at 1,600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Logically, I obviously agree with you on this. But I mean, I remember the Arizona case where Arizona not just had an announcement by the governor,

but passed a law that was going to enforce immigration. law and it got overturned in the Supreme Court. Yeah, well. So I don't, I don't, maybe there's just no way to do that. I'm sorry, but this, the constitution is not a suicide pact. No, I don't. But you know. When the government does not abide by the laws itself, when the government is, is abusing the

rights, it was set up to protect. I don't, I'm sorry. I'm not leaving America. Joe Biden's America left me. I'm still in America. I still believe in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I believe in equal justice. I believe in the rule of law.

Joe Biden's administration and Joe Biden's America and the left, they don't. So I'm still holding old glory. I'm still here with my pocket constitution and declaration of independence. And I still abide by all of that. But the government doesn't. when is it going to be enough for states and governors just to say, I'm sorry, but you're not going to collapse my state and me just sit here and take it? The good news, though, is if Greg Abbott were to lose, we can, I'm sure Beto will handle this more appropriately. Oh, yeah.

He'll nail it. Oh, no. He'll nail this whole thing. It'll be fantastic. It'll be fantastic. And by the way, even if they do say, oh, you can't do that, Supreme Court. How many buses could we get to Washington, D.C., before the court case and an injunction? I think we could get a lot.

So let's load up a lot of them. And then we just let them go in Washington, D.C. They'll have their smartphones so you can track them. And then, you know, when the federal government says, hey, you can't do that. Okay. All right. well, tell us where they are with their smartphone and we'll ask them to come back on the bus. We'll give them optional buses to come back.

Stu. Yes. Here's the latest from CBS News on Hunter Biden. Cut five. CBS News has learned that more than 150 transactions involving either Hunter or James Biden's global business affairs were flagged as concerning by U.S. banks for further review. Some of those concerns included large wire transfers. This week, Grassley released bank records indicating James Biden's company, the Lion Hall Group, was paid directly by a Chinese financed consulting firm. What? These records come directly from the banks. No third party. You're absolutely right. In our interview, Grassley did not allege the Biden's broke the law, but he said it's concerning that both Hunter and James Biden were promised retainers for their China work

totaling $165,000 a month in 2017 after Joe Biden left the vice presidency. This 2019 subpoena, verified by CBS News, shows federal investigators also sought Hunter and James Biden's business records from a major U.S. bank dating back to 2014 as part of a separate probe by the U.S. attorney in Delaware into possible violations of tax and foreign lobbying laws. Huh. Huh. Now that's interesting. 2014. 2014. This is all of the stuff that we presented.

We didn't have those documents, but these are all of the things that we presented during the impeachment of Donald Trump. We presented all of this because it tied directly into what was happening in Ukraine. And the media covered for it. Do you remember at the beginning of Iraq when they were rebuilding parts of Iraq? Do you remember who got the big contract? has zero, zero construction experience. None. You remember who got the big contract for rebuilding places in Iraq, rebuilding houses and things in Iraq?

I don't. Joe Biden's brother. Yeah, that was what, you know, he's not had a lot of attention on it. No. Where, you know, Hunter, obviously the splashy, you know, cocaine off the hooker's bellies type stories have made a lot of news. but his brother in Peter Schweizer's book, not even this most recent one,

but a couple of books before that was highlighting all of his brothers. This is a crime family. This is definitely a crime family. And, you know, it's interesting. As this heats up, does Joe Biden resign only to get a Nixon,

a pardon from the new administration, the vice president who would become president, A pardon for he and his son. Is that possible? Is that probable? Oh, yeah. They're not going to jail. I can tell you that.

Then that's a Dave Grohl's book, which you outsold by about 50%. None of these books came, none of the other books came even remotely close to how many books you sold. And yet, you're number 15. By the way, down two slots from last week and that we were number 13.

Number one on books gained both of those weeks. I am, uh, I'm going to proudly put that on the, when the soft cover comes out, I'm going to put that. I think he can do it. I'm taking a vacation because, man, America, you're wearing me out. Incredible. Congratulations. That's a big accomplishment. I mean, I don't remember maybe so. Maybe there was a book that did this. I don't ever remember seeing a book.

Christmas sweater. Christmas sweater, though. But it died. It was out for like six weeks. And then Christmas was over and it died. Yeah, I was thinking maybe common sense. Common sense was. After that many weeks.

But of course, common sense was number one in week one. Yeah. Your book didn't, we didn't have any books to sell in week one. And that's why we were number 14, I think, on the New York Times list. We were bouncing around that 13 to 15 area. Strangely, still number one on Book Scan that week. Incredible. But anyway.

Just incredible. So I want to go to Ryan in South Carolina who is talking about our border. Ryan, how are you? I'm doing well. How are you? Very good. I was calling just to discuss the illegal immigrants coming across and the federal government, you know, spreading them all over the place. And human trafficking is illegal no matter who's doing it.

And I've heard you talk a bunch of times about how local sheriffs are really going to be important in major constitutional matters and states' rights. and why can't our local sheriffs, you know, arrest these bus drivers for human trafficking? At minimum, this would push this story across the country on the national stage and get this. Sheriffs, I leave that to you. We've got to have a lot of sheriffs listening to us. Can you do that? Would that be legal to do that?

I mean, some of these, if they're just chartering buses, you just show up for work one day. You got a bunch of people and all of a sudden you're getting arrested for you've been trafficking. You know, but you know what.

I mean, you know where you're going eventually too. The thing that I like about Ryan's suggestion, I'm not saying that that's something we should do. I don't know. I'm not a local sheriff. But, uh, ooh, I should be. That'd be fun, wouldn't it? Yeah, that would be fun. I deputize everybody.

You need to carry a gun. Anyway, the, that's, I think, the thing that bothers me about Greg Abbott. Because Greg Abbott has just told the federal government what he's going to do. So you could have quietly pulled buses up right next to the bus's Homeland Security is renting. All the people are coming out and you can have a flyer, beautiful, Washington, D.C. It'd have to be full of lies. but you've got to come here. The benefits are great and everything is free.

It's wonderful. Just get on this bus. And they wouldn't have been warned in advance. Now that Governor Abbott has said this, shockingly in a election year, now Department of Homeland Security is going to say, hey, by the way, they're going to try to get you on buses and go someplace else. Don't do it. Okay.

So, all right, you won't do that now. why didn't he do that? Even if he said, I'm only going to take the volunteers. Why wouldn't you do that without announcing it first? Well, I mean, I got to believe that a press gathering is, there's a calculation being made here. He's in the middle of the election year and he wants people to know about it. Yeah, I don't really care about words anymore.

I don't know about anybody else. He's saying he's doing something, right? His argument, I mean, like, when that bus, when those buses start to take off, you let me know. I guess we can. I mean, look, I think you're right to be skeptical and I don't know what you can do legally in these situations. This is why. I don't either, but you know what?

These states are the victims and these border towns are the victims of federal policy. People like Joe Biden are victimizing these communities and they can and have been doing it for a long time. And states and cities have not been able to fight back successfully against it legally. So, I mean, there's only so much I suppose you can do, but... Well, you know what? I would test the limits. I would have, you know, I have access. If I'm governor, I have access to some really good attorneys.

Yeah. And I'd say, guys, do you think you know this for absolute sure? There are definitely people who would give an alternate argument. Right. And they'd say, no, we can make that case. Great. Load them up. Tomorrow morning, 6 a.m., they're taken off. If somebody calls, you know what?

I'm not around until 2 in the after. By at least that time, they're out of the state of Texas. Well, if they left at 6 a.m., okay, call me at 9 p.m. And they'll be out of the state of Texas. But once you get 100 buses on the highway anywhere, and the left finds out, and they're like, we need to stay. And they find some federal judge that says, you can't do that. You've got to stop the buses right then.

That's your press conference. And they certainly have rights. I mean, they have rights, you know, at some level. Who? Who? The states, I mean, I think he should get a bunch of buses and have two lines. And one sends them back to the border, back to Mexico. And the other one, it sends them to D.C.

You can choose. You want to stay. You just go there. You want to go back home? We'll get you there, too. We're a wonderful state like that. We're very accommodating. They're just destroyed.

When the law is lifted of Title 42, when that's when that's lifted. May 23rd, by the way. It's going to be a disaster, just an absolute humanitarian disaster. People don't understand. Imagine your town of a thousand people having 5,000 illegals camped right outside of your town. With what? How am I going to help them? What are you doing to us?

There's no infrastructure for that. I mean, honestly, like, if you're going, let's just take this into the realities of the left-wing world that we don't enjoy. If you're going to accept hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants per year into your country, the correct place for them to go are large cities, right? Because they have infrastructure there. As we've been told over and over again, They're the only people who like those that look different than them.

So why wouldn't they all go to San Francisco and Washington, D.C. and New York City, the place that they claim will care for them. Why are you sending them to conservative outposts in the middle of nowhere with no infrastructure? And not even warning. And not even warning. Not even warning the states of the city, just showing up. how is that good for these people? How is it good? If you really care about them, you're just going to dump them on a street and you're not going to tell anybody.

No organization is there other than probably voter registration. Nobody is there to welcome them, to answer questions, to be a bridge. Sometimes charities step up. Sometimes some of that stuff happens sometimes. But you put it to a community with, as you mentioned, a thousand people. Do you mean the emergency? The emergency, yeah. End the emergency order. What is the negative of having the emergency order right now? They never end. Just they just worry about what could happen in the future with it being open. Never end. It gives governors too much power.

I mean, way too much power. I don't like the emergency declarations at all. Yeah. they almost always lead to bad things, but I just don't, I haven't seen, because it seems like the only reason they're using it at this point is to, is to stop these. Well, that's what he says. That's what he says. And, you know, I don't know.

Fine. If that's what you actually believe, but I trust the people to make a decision. I trust the people to do the right thing. So we have inflation. We all know that we have inflation. And it's not just here in America. Inflation in Peru is getting so bad now.

The Peruvian authorities have been in a scuffle in the streets. Six people were reported dead. Then the president came out, put a state of emergency out, placed the capital under curfew. the next morning he had to backtrack and withdrew the curfew because nobody listened to that curfew. His, I love this statement. You're going to love this, too. His statement to the press is, Bruce not really going through a good moment, end quote, suboptimal.

Suboptimal. Now 11 people are dead. It is because of high gas prices and high food prices. Everything is hitting the economy. their inflation now is 9.5%, almost 10% is what they're dealing with. We're at 7.5, but that's only because we calculated it in a crafty way. If you calculated it the way we did when we had inflation like this last time during the 1970s and 80s, we would be at about 15% inflation.

That's the real number that you're feeling right now, not the 7.1.4. or 7.5%. Just still really bad. Still bad. Still bad. Still very bad. So they're trying to blame the rise in food and gas prices on the Ukrainian war, and that is contributing, but prices were already on the rise before the invasion began. And that's because we're flooding the U.S. dollar all across the world. I mean, Noah, build a freaking arc. The money wave is coming.

In Germany, if you went to the grocery store on Sunday, this just a few days ago, you bought groceries. If you forgot something, you really regretted it if you went to the grocery store on Monday. Because Monday, food prices went up between 20 and 50% on every item. They're freaking out just a little bit. Now, farmers and ranchers have been ringing this bell for a while, but the federal government is not doing anything about the real crisis that is happening with the farms and the ranches. Why? ESG. They're going to cripple them.

But in the meantime, if you look at the food commodity price index, it's up with vegetable oil, cereals, dairy, meat, sugar, way above normal. rising. A large chunk of the wheat production comes from Ukraine and Russia. Bizarrely not us anymore. I don't know when that changed, but it's shameful, shameful what we have done. Not only is the wheat production now closing down in Ukraine and Russia, but also fertilizer. Just from inflation and the Ukrainian war, we are now looking at shortages coming in food, fuel, fertilizer, Aluminum and neon. Yes, no more eat signs. Can't make them.

Can't make them. Actually, neon is used to make silicon chips. There's no issue with that. No issue with that. No chip shortage whatsoever. Now, aluminum affects the price of all of your canned goods. China is locking back down again due to another wave of COVID, and it is as serious as it was the last time when everything stopped coming from China.

We don't have any idea how bad this is going to get. We are now, listen to this. We are now the largest food importer in the world. We import more food than anyone else. China has more than double our population. yet we double the amount of food that we import. I mean, they have almost four times our population. Yeah.

Yeah, but we import. That should tell you how out of control this country is, how we have just paid attention to all of the wrong things. We aren't making our own medicines anymore. We're not making anything. If the world, nobody's really talking about this. If the world does go bipolar, We now have a unipolar world.

The United States in the West pretty much runs everything. You go bipolar like we did with the Cold War. All of that fuel that comes from the Soviet Union. All of the medicine and chips and everything else that comes from China. Gone. What does that mean for us? So here's what it means to me. Prepare.

and I want to go through some things with you on how to prepare your family. Now, I know that Bloomberg has said, ride the bus, or my favorite was eat beans. I love that one. I mean, at least Marie Antoinette said cake. You know what I mean? But let me try to give you some things. Is he riding the bus to Bermuda? Yeah, he is.

Yeah, he is. he's got his house down there. Yeah. So let me give you a few things that I have come up with and also Carol Roth, who's going to be on the program tomorrow, also came up with. And she's been working with people online saying, okay, what are you doing? We have to think like our grandparents, if your grandparents survived the Great Depression. Inflation means your dollar. It's not the price of the goods that is going up.

This is so important to understand, and you can learn about it in the Tuttle Twins books. It means that your dollar is worth less. The products aren't worth more. Your dollar is buying, has buying power that has been lessened. Okay. So when the prices increase, what you can buy decreases in volume. Okay. For items that you believe are going to go up in price,

and this is in a new article by Carol Roth at blaze the blaze.com, you try to lock in the prices today. This has been something I've been saying, buy two of everything. If you need one, buy two and store the other one and don't use it. Don't use it. This way you're not paying the higher price in the future. You're saving money by buying two of everything right now. Also, you might want to talk to goods and services providers to see if they can give you a discount on any

bulk purchase or paying in full today. Just make sure that the goods aren't perishable or that you know how to properly store them. For any ongoing services you pre-buy, make sure they're from companies you believe will still be in business when you need to use them. She said Twitter followers responded that they are cutting out grocery stores and going straight to the farmers. This is a fantastic idea. Some are finding friends and families to split a cow for meat freezing as much as they can to secure better pricing. Others with the ability to care for them are getting chickens for eggs, etc. Many individuals are planting or canning vegetables dealing directly with local farmers via the farmer's market or contacting them directly.

And this is helping keep important food prices down. I can't recommend highly enough that you either plant your, own food if you're a farmer plant your food if you have space for a garden plant your own food you can't do any of those things go meet the farmers and talk to them directly because they need your support and you need their food um the other thing is get into a farmer's market and if you don't have a farmer's market start one we need farmers markets in all of our towns you've got to think locally. that Carol said in December I established a local Liberty urban homestead market. It's a group on Facebook. The goal is to set aside some space we have in our urban and suburban homes to grow or raise something to exchange with others. Completely voluntarily

decentralized and peer to peer. This is really a great idea. Anything that you can do that's voluntary, decentralized and peer to peer is great. Bartering is peer to peer. And it is always used in tough economic times.

Goods, food products, all of it can be bartered. If you have a skill, like you need somebody to tell you a story, I'm there. I'm there. You know what I mean? I've got skills that are so valuable in things. like the Great Depression. Yeah, I can, I can sit and talk

or not talk. I could tell stories. I don't know that you're capable of not talking. I think there's just talking. All right, well, I can work on the rest of that. I got no skills. You and I both, we're dead.

We starve to death. I've got no skills. We provide finely marbled meat to cannibals. It's exactly right. Exactly right. If you go the barter route, make sure you're very clear about the expectations of both parties. Having something written down helps avoid problems in the future. Also, note that barter transactions are taxable.

Make sure you keep track of the bartering and speak with your accountant for guidance on how to account for all of this and the tax implications. You've got to do that. You want to make sure that you're... This brings me to the next thing that I think is one of the toughest. Location, location, location. Live near like-minded people. Lots of them. Texas, Florida, mountains, any place.

The Amish. Any place, I mean, you'd have to wear black, but I imagine you could blend in. What, I can't use the blender or the TV or the radio? What? Just put on a black dress. You're fine. I mean, even if you're a man, it'll be fine.

They are so woke. Any place where God plays a role, because you are going to need to be around like-minded people who believe in a higher power for good. That's kind of important. If you can't move, fine, most people can't. If you can't move, create a network of people. Find a network and create it. start your 9-12 project to get whatever it is, but find a network of people around you that you can contact

and you can work together. Don't be alone. By the way, when this hits, where you are is where you will be. I am convinced of that. I could be wrong. But I don't see people buying a lot of gas for trucks and things going across the country. When it happens, that's where you will be. Make sure you think about that right now.

Moving is a serious consideration. It is so tough. I mean, I've got kids in school. You have maybe kids in school. Family, you've built a life. It's really tough. But at least consider it if you are alone in the area. I'm going to take a quick break.

Then I'm going to come back and talk to you a little bit about money, electronics, your school and your life at home and life at work. Coming up in just a second. I don't know if I would be embarrassed by that because my outcome would be terrible compared to yours. But, I mean, that's always been the case of all situations. And so far, you know, it's worked out okay. It's really fine. Just keep going. Yeah. Soy sauce, duck sauce.

you are fine. Right. You're fine. That's basically all the food groups. That's right. Soy sauce is one food group. It's duck sauce is the other. It's meat and vegetables.

It really is. I mean, what else do you need? Meat and vegetables. It's a vegetable. That's pretty much a vegetable. Vegetable. Duck sauce isn't made of duck. I think it is.

But we can count it. We can count it. All right. So let me go with money. The money that you have right now, you are going to lose. Let's put $1,000 in your bank account. You will lose 10% of that every year, just leaving it in the bank account, 10% of that every year for the next 10 years. So what does that leave you with in the end? That's not good. It's not good. I'll tell you that. It's not good.

And that is not coming from me. That's coming from Barack Obama's Treasury Secretary. He said that a couple of weeks ago. And he said, that's baked in. That's bare minimum. Bare minimum. So your money is going to be worth less and less until it's worthless. And then they will change over in the currency. So what do you have as a storehouse to be able to keep your money valued at something?

What can you buy that will forever hold its value? Well, that's where gold and silver come in. Some people will say Bitcoin. That's risky. I mean, but everything is. But gold and silver, I know, and silver can be used for bartering. Gold can be used for bartering. It's good that way, and it's biblical.

I mean, it's been there forever. When the world goes insane and governments go insane, they devalue their money, and everybody returns to gold. So gold. But also, food has great value. cigarettes have some value. Liquor. I mean, let me just tell you, as an alcoholic,

I would have, I would have, I would have, you know, you have a problem with your neighbor, I would have eaten them if I had to, if you had alcohol and I had none. So, but I'm not saying playoff the desperate alcoholics. What I am saying is. That seems like what you're saying. Well, it's not that I'm not not saying that.

but I am saying that it is also medicinal. It is something when, I mean, because. Ah, I like that. That's an alcoholic talking right there. Ah, it's medicinal. If anybody watched 1883 and you saw what they had to do in 1883, I better have a lot of alcohol on my hands. But anyway, so alcohol, cigarette sugar, ammunition, guns, seeds.

Those are all very, very important. Skills are really important. I mean, can you fix an engine? I can't. I can't fix a new engine. I don't know anybody that can fix a new engine, but I can't even fix an old engine, which brings me buy a truck or a vehicle prior to 1979.

Something you can learn to fix yourself. Try to have at least two weeks, if you can, 30 days of cash on hand. So in other words, whatever you spend, if you can, have it, I think, for a couple of weeks, if you can. That's a lot of money. But try to have whatever it is that you would spend minimal. That way, if there is a banking crisis, which this will go into a bank shutdown like it

did in the 1930s, they will do that. And you're going to need to have something on hand. otherwise you're like, but George, all my money's in the savings and loan, you're going to need to have some cash. More in just a minute. No, it's not good. Not good. Stu just said, I have an old pre-1979 car, but it's British. Nope.

We all survive. Okay. Well, most of us. survive. We make it through this. It's going to be bumpy and rough, but we've done it before. Humans have done this before. We are very literally and figuratively out of shape. We don't understand. Don't waste. We don't understand reuse, repair. We don't get that. We are a very disposable group of people. The head of Black Rock came out, what was it last week, and said, you know, this is a generation of people who just want everything now and they've never had to deal with real need. And they've got a real eye-opening experience.

Oh, well, thank you, Mr. BlackRock. But we do. We all do. All of us. And I can't tell you, you know, it's weird. I do this show for everybody. but I know there are people that listen to the show differently, they have ears that hear and eyes that see,

and so I hope you're in that category. But if you are, and I take this medicine myself, believe me, we have to be in shape. We have to have our bodies in shape. It's going to be harder for medicine and everything else. There will be shortages of things. So we just need to be as healthy as we can, eat the right things and do that mind, body, and spirit.

It's critical. And sometime in the future, I'll explain why, but start on that now. Buy a house, by property. Don't overspend. Don't get crazy. But don't be afraid of the future. Don't be afraid of the future. have to move on everything I'm doing right now has a double purpose. If it doesn't serve now

and through a storm, I don't do it. I've changed a lot here recently. I feel strongly that the seasons have changed. And with it, I am shockingly to myself, changing as well. Because you talked about the K. Schiller Index and how high it is right now. I mean, this is a very overheated housing market. I guess right now is the good time to buy. I don't want to give anybody financial advice. What I'm trying to say, I guess, is don't spend your days worrying about tomorrow. Do the next right thing.

Okay. Understand that what's coming tomorrow is unlike anything we've witnessed in our lifetime, unless you live through the Great Depression. we have not witnessed anything like this before. And so you've got to think out of the box. That's why our grandparents were so afraid because they didn't think that kind of stuff could happen. And then it happened. And they were pretty prepared for things because they lived, you know, on farms, they canned and everything else.

So they weathered that storm. But it freaked them out so much that all the way until my grandparents died, they were still saving every scrap, every can, wrapping paper. They always saved all of it. And they used to say, you don't know how fat it can come. Well, we don't. We don't even think it can come. So stop all excess spending.

Stop spending on stupid stuff. And when you do buy things, buy quality. You got to teach your kids and maybe yourself. Don't buy things with holes in it. Okay, because you're going to earn those holes. Those clothes are going to earn holes eventually. Measure twice, cut once. Consider fuel efficient trucks, SUVs, if you can find them.

Make, get off electronics as much as you can. Make paper copies of all of your important documents. Know where the deeds are to anything that you own. Learn to use a map. teach your kids how to use a map and then have maps. When it comes to business, if you are, you know, somebody else's employee, be the one employee that no one can fire. Be the Swiss Army knife. Whatever needs to be done, do it.

Don't wait for anybody to ask. You see something, do it. Be the American worker that we used to be. if you are in business for yourself, be the product or the service that no one can cancel. Stay in business, just preserve, preserve, preserve, honesty, integrity, and charity needs, it's paramount in business and really in life. No one is going to know who to trust unless you have engaged in honesty, If you have integrity and you are known as a charitable, kind, helpful person, you're not going to help anybody because nobody's going to listen to anybody.

You need to be known as a source of good and light. This is a conversation we're having with my kids right now. I'm not sending you to school. You want to go to school? Fine, you pay for it. But I am not paying for your destruction. Also, I don't think everybody needs to have the higher education. I'm not enamored by Yale or Harvard or Columbia.

I don't really care. I don't really care. Did you learn what you needed to learn? Now, if you're a doctor, I mean, an actual hands in someone's chest doctor, yeah, I want you to go to the best school. But, you know, there is something to be said for trade schools as well. My son wants to eventually build his own car. Good. You should start with knowing how to change a spark plug.

And mechanics and people who can fix things, they are going to be wanted and needed. Forget all of this crap that that's beneath my son. No, it's not. Teach your kids. College is not a given. Educate yourself at all times. Always be reading and have hard copies.

of important books learn old or lost practices mending canning farming fixing an engine serve and share in your life this one has taken on new meaning to me recently I understand this now more deeply than I ever have I am I'm I'm a guy who I like to collect stuff I mean I mean, if you watched the show last night, I showed you the missile collection that I have from Russia, Russian missiles that they're actually using now on the Ukrainians. I have a bunch of them and I have a bunch of stuff that the Ukrainians were using to fight the Russians just to be able to tell the story visually. I love collecting stuff. Yeah. Every dollar I make, and I would encourage you to think this way, every dollar you now make needs to be viewed as sacred money.

What can I do to help build up? I just kind of go straight with you. Remember when I said, when I start talking like this, you'll know, I think I'm there. You need to think about your money as building up the kingdom of God. You need to start preparing the way. And don't spend money on stupid stuff because we are going to need each other. Teach your children the things that matter. Forget about running them to soccer practice if you're not teaching them values and principles.

Teach those things first. Do with less now. It will help your family take the shock a lot better. Read the Bible. Plan, pray, listen, obey. Have a gun. Know how to shoot it. Have ammunition.

Understand that anger is a part of your life. This is so important. Anger will be a part of life. but never feed it. Be honorable in all of your dealings, especially when nobody is going to know. Be honorable at all times and be optimistic and happy because life does go on. Life is going to get really good. Should we choose?

Life is going to get really good. It's going to suck on the way there. But it is going to get good. make plans for the future, get married, have children. Don't listen to people who say, you're going to bring them up in a world like this. Yeah. Because they were meant to be born at this time. I'm telling you now, our children, our children are important.

And they were born for this time. And they will be able to help heal and rebuild. They are critical. Don't buy into the life. If you want more, there's a much more on the website at glenbeck.com. Full capacity, small farm. ranch, goats, cows, pigs, chickens, other livestock, able to produce food perpetually for yourself, your family, and others. I do have a lot of animals. Yeah, I know. You do. It's basically a zoo at my house, but I don't think I want to eat them. Yeah, iguanas don't count.

I would say, the only part that says food perpetually for yourself, I don't know. I could be a very bad farmer. And also, you eat a lot. Yeah. So, all right. What emergency supplies do you have on hand? Huh? Supplies?

No. Basic first aid. over-the-counter medicines, flashlight batteries, manual can openers, blankets. Yeah, okay. All of the above, plus portable emergency kits for the whole family, sleeping bags, water for your purification, basic gas or solar. No, I don't have a generator like that. Oh my gosh.

All of the above plus barter items such as gold, silver, ammunition, building hardware, clothing, major first aid supplies, including antibiotics, basic surgical equipment, capacity to generate energy. This is not even the highest level? No. Basic surgical equipment? Yeah. I do have clothing.

All of the above, plus farming equipment, solar bank with deep storage batteries, horses, ATVs for travel with stored feed and fuel, heirloom seeds, fertilizer, compost, compost, surgical kit, including scalples, clamps, sutures, staples, blood transfusion. What self-defense equipment do you have access to?

Wishful thinking, whatever's within reach, something on hand, like a baseball bat, handgun, rifle, shotguns, battle rifles, at least 10,000 rounds. Guns are at the bottom of a lake of a boating accident, unfortunately. My too, that's weird. I don't have any. What plans have you made for disruptions? This gets interesting. It's a good timing because I have so many people I want to launch into space. Oh my gosh. We should make a list. Yeah. You know, I was talking to a friend, what were we watching the other day? And I thought, what is it that would stop all of us right now? And we would just go, oh, my. Gosh. Is there anything? Anything that we could accomplish. I mean, I don't even, I think landing a man on Mars would be one of those moments, but not really. Not like it was

in the 1960s. I mean, it would be incredible. It would be incredible. But would it stop the world and have them go, oh my gosh, I never thought man could do that. No, I believe we can do it. It's just a matter of like putting the resources in that direction. That's what we

want to do. So have we lost all awe? A lot of it. I think so. It's accomplished a lot. It's weird, isn't it? It's talking to my son, and he's like, why haven't we been there already? I mean, there's nothing in their minds that man can't do. Hello, America. There is a new manufacturing facility that is being opened up, or they want to open up, in Grand Forks, North Dakota. It has several large-scale production facilities. They make animal nutrition. It seems like a good thing.

It'll attract 200 jobs. There's a couple of problems with it. One of which is it's a Chinese company opening up their first manufacturing plant in America. Okay. However, the city council has seemingly cut all kinds of corners and they want this to go through no matter it seems. what the people say. We're going to talk to somebody who is living this right now and wants to explain what's going on

and would also like some explanations on what's going on. We go there in 60 seconds. Now, come on, man, America needs you. around into something like, you know, fear of the Chinese. You're just Chinapobic. No, no, I'm not. And I don't think the guy who is standing up and trying to fight against this plant in North Dakota, in North Dakota is either. It's Ben Graduleski. Is that right? Yes, that's correct. Oh, my gosh.

You have way too many letters in your name. Ben, first of all, let me just ask you a couple of quick questions just so I know where you're coming from and we're really clear on it. Okay. You don't have a problem with foreigners. No.

Okay. You're not, you're not, uh, Asia phobic. You're not like Chinese people. I don't trust them. Oh, no, not at all. Okay, good. Uh, because that, you know, I'm sure is being said or could be said. And, uh, I'd like to not repeat the, uh, 1940s.

Hey, let's round up the Japanese. Um, the people are different than the, uh, than the country. All right. So we've established that. So there is this. plant being built and as I understand it, the community was not consulted by this. It's just going through the city council and they're trying to shut people up who are against it, right? It appears to be that way, yes. Okay. Tell me what's happening. Well, so apparently the city

leaders have been working on bringing this project to town for somewhere around two years before they even brought it into the public eye. And it came into the public eye late last fall, early, early winter. And then since then they've just been pushing it through. There was never any, you know, question to the citizens of the town, hey, do we want this manufacturing plant? Is this something we want to put our tax dollars towards to entice to come here? There was never anything like that.

And there just seems to be a lot of issues with it that are coming along. with this plant and we don't have a say in it. So let's go through some of the issues. I would have to say, even though I asked those first two questions, I do believe this is different. Is this a, I mean, I'm sure it is, a communist party owned or at least partially owned company from China? Well, they say it that it is not. They assure us it is not.

I don't know. But however, there's been studies done that show otherwise by independent analysis. Okay. Analyst, rather, you know, so. Okay. And the people trying to sell us, the plants assure us that everything is a-okay, though. Yeah, there's no such thing as that in a communist country. All right.

So tell me what the other problems are. You're putting out taxes. I assume this is going to cost you guys in tax base? So there's close to $100 million worth of taxpayer dollars that is going to entice this company, you know, through infrastructure, roads, gas pipelines, water pipelines, sewer and water. And there is a 20-year payback program from this company. Okay. That is what they are telling us how it's going to be. So, you know, theoretically at the end of the day, if everything works out in 20 years.

money comes down and in 20 years and they stay, we should have our money paid back, you know, and then some. And the property task. I would assume that it's going to create jobs. How many jobs is it going to create? They're talking 233 direct jobs and 500 or something indirect jobs. Okay. Is what they're saying.

All right. You know, and the average wage on the direct jobs is not that high. I mean, it's 50. it's in the mid-50s, but that's average across the board. So, you know, when you start getting your executives and top high-dollar earners in there, I don't think at the end of the day they're going to be real high-paying quality jobs. And then you have a problem because of the, not you, but the people who are standing up, you had a water problem recently, and they're using, this plant will use more water than the entire town in a day?

It will use slightly less. We use about 7.5 million gallons a day on average as a city. They're going to use about 6.5 million gallons a day. Okay. And do you have the water? According to their studies, yes. But last summer they were requesting that the citizens reduce their water usage because we were running out of water. And I have found several different reasons why, and I've got several different answers as to why that was last summer.

but they don't all really necessarily line up with each other. So that's kind of a big red flag for me. What are the other problems? Well, there's pollution, smell. Smell is a big concern for a lot of people. They're situating this plant on the north, kind of north, northwest side of town, and that's where the prevailing winds come from around here.

So anything that they produce, exhaust or dust or any of that will all be. blowing right across town. Okay. So this, so, so what's happening? You're, you're putting a petition out because you, you're just asking for people to vote on it. Don't leave this up to the city council, right? That's exactly right. We went around, we needed about 3,617 signatures to, to get it to a vote. It was 15% of the last voting population, last gubernatorial election. And we collected 5,318, I believe it was, and turned them in to which the city leaders, the city attorney and the city leaders immediately went to work to, as I said earlier, it seems like they are trying their hardest to disqualify

the whole thing. And how are they doing that? Well, first off, they have a police detective, had a police detective, calling around, calling petitioners, calling the signers with a couple different questionnaires, depending on who they were talking to with a list of, I don't even 10, 10 questions each or something. You know, just trying to ascertain exactly what they were shown, how they were asked, if they were pressured.

It's kind of bizarre. It feels like they're going way above and beyond what they actually need to do to verify signatures. See, I think this is where people always get in trouble. I mean, if there's nothing unseemly about it, just let the people know, just give them all the information. Trust the people. But, I mean, even apparently in Grand Forks, how big is Grand Forks? It's about 60,000 people.

60,000 people and they don't trust the community? Evidently not. It sure is not looking that way. I don't know. Maybe there's a ulterior motive here. It's strange, though. I mean, we've had petitions done in this town in the past, and they have never used police, police detectives, anything like that.

I mean, sure, the city auditor has called folks, you know, randomly to check. But I think a phone call from a city auditor is much different than a phone call from a police detective. So if the petition, when will you know if the petition is going to be deemed valid or not? That's a little up in the air. They had said at the last city council meeting that they were hoping to have it done by tomorrow, hoping to have us an answer by tomorrow. And if it is valid, then it goes for the election? It should go to the June election.

And if it's not, then what do you do? If they say it's not valid? I honestly don't know the answer that. I know if it's thrown out based on invalid signatures. You know, if they cross off too many signatures, we will have seven days to go get those signatures rectified and get them returned in. If it's due to invalid paperwork, which is what they were indicating at the city council meeting, I don't know if we have a recourse. I'm not sure, honestly.

Absolutely. You know, back to the petitions. We've had petitions in the past that were done on the wrong paperwork, and the city attorney actually helped them to get it to vote. And now it seems like we are going in 100% the opposite direction here. So, yeah, it's very disappointing that they're trying to suppress the citizens having a say. It sounds very un-American. I mean, we have debated this story in our production meetings and our produce with the meeting with the producers for a few weeks we've been talking about it

and uh it just keeps coming up because of a couple of reasons i think it's important because you don't know what's happening in your own town you really don't and people it's so easy for people to say oh well it's not happening here it probably is it probably is you would be surprised at the size of the towns that are part of the Agenda 2030 project from the United Nations, which falls right into the Great Reset. You'd be surprised. Money doesn't talk. It screams. And there's been a lot of these towns that are roped into it now, and you would have no idea the things that are going on in our schools. You think that it couldn't happen here. It's not being taught. It is. It is. And the people who you think are really good people, and they probably

are, but they are part of it. They are part of it. Doesn't make them a bad person. Just makes them wrong. And a lot of those people are teachers. No matter what a teacher says to you, I firmly believe if you are in the teacher's union and you know what's going on, you are part of the problem. You're part of the problem because you are funding the group of people and the union that is trying to sever us from our children. It is happening. It's happening everywhere in America. Even a small town that now seems to have something funky going on with this Chinese plant that is coming in. More in a second.

And he knows he's making it. By the way, Amazon, here we come. What are you going to order a bunch of stuff, Joe? Is that what you're going to do? You're going to start ordering. What do you have? You're ordering like, I don't know, hand wipes, you know, depends. What is it the year?

No, you mean, look out Amazon because we're about to put the screws to you. That is using a presidential elected. Paid for by all of the people, union and non-union. That job, his office, is paid by all of us. And he's weaponizing it to come after companies like Amazon because he wants them unionized. Same thing with Tesla. You know, he invited everybody on the Green Revolution. You know, everybody who's got an electric car for GM.

Come on in. Not Tesla? Tesla's leading the world on this. Are you kidding me? They didn't even invite. You know why? Because he's not offering any incentives on Tesla's. He's not holding them up as an example because they've done it without the labor unions.

This is insanity what's going on. The labor unions were the biggest contributors to his campaign. Can you imagine if the Coke brothers who, I don't know, made a different kind of Coke? And all of a sudden the president came out and said, yeah, and you know what? If you're not using Coke, well, I'm going to send two brothers and some other visitors your way. Everyone would be up in arms if he even said Coke. here he is in front of the people who gave him more money for his campaign. This is a payoff.

That's all this was. You scratch my back. I'll scratch yours. You pay and I will get into office and I'll give you much more at our expense and our freedom. This guy is corrupt to the core. anybody who could do with his son and his family what he has done, apparently for a very long time, just figure out ways to get rich off of his name and his position in office and use his family to do it. This guy's a despicable guy. He really is. I mean, let's be honest.

You have a son that is this sick. I mean, Hunter is sick. be honest about it. He is deeply, deeply wounded at best. Would you use your son to do this? Would you put him in that situation?

And by the way, if they do talk about arresting him, I'm telling you that kid will sing, sing, sing. He will tell them whatever they want against dear old dad because he according to his emails doesn't really like what dear old dad has done to his whole life.

And then by the time I finished, I thought, I'm pretty sure this is actual. Oh, no. This is a New York Times editorial today. Okay. Opening day of Major League Baseball season, which falls on Thursday after being delayed for a week.

by labor dispute is as good of an occasion as any for fans of the game to come to terms with certain hard facts. I'm talking, of course, about the inevitable future in which professional baseball is what? The inevitable future that baseball is... Gosh. Woke. That it's...

No. Nationalized. The inevitable truth that baseball is nationalized and put under some authority of some federal entity. Why on earth would that occur? Attendance of the games have declined steadily since 2008 and viewership figures are almost hilariously bleak. An ordinary national primetime MLB broadcast such as ESPN Sunday Night Baseball attracts some 1.5 million pairs of eyes each. week, which is to say roughly the number that are likely to be watching a heavily censored version of Goodfellas on basic cable movie channel at the same time in the same time slot. Even the World Series attracts smaller audiences than the average Thursday night football

broadcast, the dregs of the National Football League's weekly schedule. In 1975, the World Series had an average of 36 million viewers per game. In 2021, it barely attracts 12 million per game. Casual... Wait, we're going to... Okay, 12 million a game. We're going to nationalize... Oh, he hasn't started yet.

Okay. Casual observers may assume that despite the lack of popularity, baseball is still somehow insanely valuable. This illusion, Major League Baseball generated around $11 billion in revenue in 2019, but this figure does not accurately reflect the demand for its product. Mike Trout's $426 million contract, is effectively being paid by millions of grandparents

who just want to tune in to Anderson Cooper or the Antiques Roadshow. Oh, stop. As that audience dies off and younger generations of cord cutters take their place, baseball's revenue will plummet. Culturally, the game is increasingly irrelevant. The average age of a person watching baseball

on television, 57. And one shudders to think what the comparable figure is for radio broadcasts. Typical American 10-year-olds are as likely to recognize Jorge Soler, Solair, who was named the most valuable player of last year's World Series as they are their local congressional representative. College athletes drafted by... That's a ridiculous point.

In some parts of the country, participation in Little League has decreased by nearly 50% in the past decade and a half. When my wife and I signed up our five- and six-year-old daughters for T-ball a few weeks ago, we did so partly out of the grim sense of obligation. We might have been Irish parents enrolling our children in step dancing classes. This is your heritage and you're going to learn it and you're going to love it. I don't think I'm like super bullish on the future of baseball as compared to maybe some other sports. I love baseball.

But I mean, this is a ridiculous piece. You're taking out a guy from the MLB MVP who, yes, he wouldn't be highly recognized. But like there are a lot of players in baseball who would be and those are the guys that win the MVP for the entire season. I think it's worth being honest up front about what nationalizing baseball would entail. Well, I'd like to think that the Biden administration could just take all the 30 teams and dissolve the league by executive fiat citing language. Who wrote this? This is pathetic. Who wrote this?

This is written by Matthew Walther. He's an editor of the land. a Catholic literary journal, he writes frequently about sports. He should stop writing frequently about sports. I don't think he's ever heard of sports. So listen to this. It's more realistic to assume

Congress would have to be involved. Legislation would authorize purchasing the teams at their current, although absurdly inflated market valuation. Players, coaches and other staff members would become federal employees. General manager would be appointed, blah, blah. I mean, this has got to be a joke, right?

It's guys. What was April 1st that it was It was posted. I think this, I just got this today in my show prep. So, no, April 7th. It was today. Maybe he's just late by six days. Maybe. Come on.

Why would we, first of all, we shouldn't nationalize it even if it collapses. This can't be true. It is not, we should not be involved in that in any way, anyway. We should not nationalize anything. I would also note that one of the teams plays in Canada, so I don't know why, how you'd be nationalizing the Toronto Blue Jays, that would be an interesting trick. No, he came out April 6th. April 6th.

That is one of the guest essay, opinion, New York Times, April 6th. Now, they've been writing these pieces about how the sport is dying for so many years, I can't even count them. They've been doing it since I was a kid. And look, it has dropped in attendance a little bit. Now, you look at last year, obviously,

it was a COVID year. I mean, some of these parks weren't even open at the beginning of the year. So it was down last year. But I mean, you know, their numbers are fine. If you can't build a business around 68 million people in the parks in 2019. 68 million. You can't build a bit. You need to be nationalized.

Forget it. Not to mention the TV and the digital deals on top of the merchandise and all the other crap that goes on. Yes, at times these teams spend so much money that they can get themselves into trouble. And there's some issues with income inequality between. the Los Angeles Dodgers and every other team in the league. But still, there's no reason. There's not even an argument that it would fail, let alone be nationalized. It's completely

ridiculous. I find it interesting that he says, the average age of people watching it on TV is 57. What's the average person of people that are watching TV? Right. I mean, the cable news average audience is like 72 or 3. But they would think about nationalizing that. They would probably nationalize that. I guarantee you. Yeah, you're right. The TV average age is, I mean, people are watching digital. And then they shudder to think what it is on radio.

Well, most likely it's on AM radio. And unless you're a conservative, you don't even know what AM radio even means. Yes, there's just AM radio. There's news talk radio and sports radio. Yeah, that's it. That's all AM is. So, I mean, this is just, you know, this is none. This is like basically the, we're going to have 700 million people get displaced by global warming next year.

Like, it's like one of those type of pieces. I don't want to be like there's people that are posting on Instagram and Facebook and stuff. My apology to George Soros. Yes. Last April fools. Okay. And they're like, Glenn Beck sold out. He apologized.

I called him. I have sincerely apologized to Mr. Pepperoni eyes. does that sound like a sincere apology for the love of Pete? People are so stupid. But I don't want to be one of those people. When I read this, I'm like, I don't know anymore. I don't know anymore. I don't know.

Is this guy serious or not? Does he really? It's probably, I guess it's serious. The only reason I think it's serious is because this type of piece has been written for a long time, minus the nationalization. That's a new wrinkle. Like the baseball is going to fail. It's not our national pastime anymore.

It's well behind football and basketball now. And there's truth to some of that for sure. I mean, certainly football is the number one sport. But still, this is a pretty freaking healthy business. Hang on. Maybe he's being sarcastic and he's actually writing a pro baseball piece. Okay. Saying, oh, you know, yeah, it's so bad.
