Starting point is 00:00:00 When you were little, you had braced in the course of recreat, always in trying to negotiate, to change these cards of hockey, the bonhomes, some of the ballads. You know that each has a value,
Starting point is 00:00:10 well, before having to be and the things have not really changed. Negoti-tit-T-D you can't to renew with your instinct of
Starting point is 00:00:18 negotiation. With, without operation gratuit, no amount of minimum and no free mensuel. You're made for
Starting point is 00:00:24 negotiate, and the appellee-tit-tit-tit-td and fete to you add. Telecharge it right now. You know what? I'm so excited to have you back on your lunch today. I'm going to put a little rough greens on it. I'm going to do it for you as to. Thank you. I thought that was a dog food. Isn't it a dog food?
Starting point is 00:00:42 Hmm? Or is it a... I'm sorry, I can't. Is it... No, it's a supplement. It's a supplement. It's a supplement. Sprinkle on top of the food. I mean, you can put it on your dog's food, but you put it on top of food. And for anybody that you love. And, ooh, I love you and I've missed you. Oh, so dearly. It's actually good to have you back. But anyway, Rough Green. Get this supplement for your dog. You know, all the kibble food, all the nutrition is cooked out of it. And Rough Greens replaces that. And then upsid a bit with some probiotics and all of the vitamins and minerals and antioxidants that your dog needs. I brought this to my vet when I first started thinking about having Uno eat it. And I said, would you put this in your dog's food?
Starting point is 00:01:24 And she said, if you can get your dog to eat this, this would be fantastic. And they love it. Roughgreens.com slash Beck. Rough greens, ruff-fgreens.com slash Beck or call 83333-Glen 33. 833 Glenn 33, Roughgreens.com slash Beck. This is the time for all people. Left, right, center, doesn't matter. If you believe in the truth, now is the time to stand together.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Monroe Harliss wrote a great article in the Federalist about 1984. She starts with, don't you see, the whole eight? name of newspeak is to narrow the range of thought. In the end, we shall make thought crime literally impossible because there will be no words in which to express it. That's directly from the novel 1984. It reads now, if you have read it recently, like a newspaper, honest to goodness, a newspaper. From the left's rejection of objectives, truths to the media's manipulation of the language. We are living in 1984. The latest is now this cheap fakes that the president is somehow healthy. Well, in this case today, all you need to know is
Starting point is 00:03:53 some of the things that are happening right now are directly from 1984 and a little bit of history. We begin there in 60 seconds. Stand by. You know, who you do business with, a lot about you to other people. We live in now a world that, I mean, are you doing Disney? You paying for Disney? You're paying for Disney? I mean, I understand maybe you have little kids, but have you paid attention to what's coming out of Disney right now? Disney is on the ropes and will eventually collapse. It will have to be sold off for parts, I believe. And hopefully someone will restore it. But these companies have gone so far off the tracks and we have to pull our support from them. We have to pull our support from them. It is the only right thing to do for our families
Starting point is 00:04:52 and for ourselves and for our constitutional Democratic Republic. Now here's the thing. When you work with Patriot Mobile, you're going to get away from these three big sell companies that are just funding the left like nobody's business. Their mission is all God-centered and to make sure that they are supporting and defending the Constitution using their profits to support God and the Constitution after they have made a successful company with Patriot Mobile. And this is exactly what Patriot Mobile is. You can get on all three cell networks so you're getting the same exact cell coverage, except you're not spending money a lot more money for yourself or a service than you have to, and you're not funding the left.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Please switch to Patriot Mobile. Get a free smartphone when you sign up today called 972 Patriot. 972 Patriot. Again, the promo code back. Starting point is 00:06:07 How are we here? good nice to have you nice to have you here let's go into a couple of things here um i was reading a story today about uh Donald trump getting ready to go uh to the debate next week and he's preparing and people are speculating why would he ever accept why would he have so you think Donald trump is not going to accept all of the baby conditions that uh joe biden has set for the uh for the the debate. Of course he will. He's not going to be said, they're not going to say to him, oh, well, we wanted to debate, but he wouldn't. He'll do it. And he'll still probably do pretty well. But Donald Trump, I mean, Joe Biden is going to do better than he probably would in any other format.
Starting point is 00:06:55 And Donald Trump said that probably pump him up. Now, I don't know if, I don't know if that is true, but it sure explains the performance of, let's say, the state of the union address, where he was vigorous. He was like, wow, who is this guy? I believe, and we won't know for decades, but I believe they are juicing him on important nights. This is not new. This shouldn't come as a conspiracy theory or a shock to anybody. they did it with JFK and they did it with FDR. In fact, FDR is probably the closest parallel to Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:07:42 FDR, the war was going well. We're starting to turn the tides on Germany, but we hadn't gone into D-Day yet. I'm sorry, FDR comes back from the meeting with Stalin and Churchill, in Tehran. And as he comes back, he's got a really bad violent cough. He starts to lose weight. He's constantly fatigued. His daughter Anna was so freaked out by all of it that she, she pressed the doctors. Please, could you please have him see a cardiologist at Bethesda. So he went into Bethesda Hospital for an examination. And when he came out, everything was great.
Starting point is 00:08:29 No, the president's in perfect health. However, according to the medical notes that were published six decades later, that doctor diagnosed him with reduced lung capacity, hypertension or high blood pressure, which we didn't have a way to treat back then, acute bronchitis, and most seriously, acute congestive heart failure. So now they're not treating him because we didn't have the, medication the only treatment was regulating a patient's lifestyle and you know herbal drugs and then telling him don't drink alcohol tobacco don't do any of that so that means in may of 94 a month
Starting point is 00:09:16 before d day the daily schedule of the u.s. president unbeknownst to the american people was only four hours a day he could only work and and be involved four hours a day. Now, he did that for a while and he started to improve a little bit. But in July of 1944, he had another doctor examine him and he said he's not going to survive the term. And he's got another full term coming up and there's an election. And I don't think he's going to make it for the entire full term in office. panel of experts were called in.
Starting point is 00:10:03 They all examined and they all agreed. He's not going to make it. Okay. Did the American people know that? No. They didn't. It was too important to the country to make sure that he looks strong and vigorous. Well, what do you think is happening with Joe Biden?
Starting point is 00:10:25 Do you honestly think that things that have been done before, are not being done right now. And what's disturbing about it is these people work for us. Now, I understand maybe, perhaps, in war, although no, I don't. No, I don't. I need a president that is vigorous. And if a president is not vigorous, especially at a time of war, I don't know if you're paying attention to what's going on in the world, but we are growing ever so close to
Starting point is 00:10:57 nuclear war. There was a, what was it? It was one of the former Soviet satellite states. And the president came out and he's like, look, you can think whatever you want about the United States or whatever you want about Russia. But we're out of this because it seems as though NATO and Russia both cannot back away from this. and I think we are months away from a nuclear war. And somebody has got to stand up and say, get to the peace table.
Starting point is 00:11:34 And it's very compelling, very compelling to listen to him. So should we know about the president's health? Of course we should. But we won't because we are living in the days of 1984. Listen to these 15 things that, Monroe Harless pointed out in the Federalists. Fifteen ways that 1984 is 2024. Quote from the book,
Starting point is 00:12:07 The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final most essential command. Have you seen this? Have you seen the party demanding you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears? All the time. We're seeing it all. the time. Two, endless wars, quote, they add nothing to the wealth of the world since whatever they produce is used for purposes of war and the object of waging a war is always to be in a better
Starting point is 00:12:41 position in which to wage another war, end quote. Have you seen the video of Joe Biden talking about American weapons being used for direct strikes inside of Russia? And why are, why is, why do some people speculate that the real purpose of this is to get rid of all of our own old weapons so we can make new weapons which will be better in the next war. Isn't this sound like exactly 1984? Number three, separating babies from mothers at birth. Quote from the book, already we're breaking down the habits of thought which have survived from before the revolution. Children will be taken from their mothers at birth as one takes eggs from a hen. What exactly is the issue here?
Starting point is 00:13:32 Well, the issue is the well-being of a child, a living, breathing human who is created for the sole purpose of being sold or ripped away from her mom. This is something that is happening through surrogacy. and honestly later in life it is happening because of political correctness. Four, hatred of purity and goodness. I hate purity. I hate goodness. I don't want virtue to exist anywhere. I want everyone to be corrupt to the bones, end quote.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Well, did anybody see what happened to Butker for being a Christian? They tore him apart, condemned him, Ray Rice? Nothing compared. Five, the news lies. One knows the news is all lies anyway from 1984. Yeah, well, what do you think? Do we all know that the news is nothing but a lie?
Starting point is 00:14:45 And now the news is saying that they are fighting disinformation. Six, the destruction of the family. The sex impulse was dangerous to the party, and the party had to turn it to account. They had played a similar trick with the instinct of parenthood. The children, on the other hand, were systematically turned against their parents and taught to spy on them and report their deviations. The family had become, in fact, an extension of the thought police. Do I need to give you an example? Seven, political correctness.
Starting point is 00:15:14 Don't you see the whole aim of newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end, we shall make thought crime literally impossible because there are no words in which to express it. egg producers, birthing people, chest feeding. Eight, persecution of political opponents. Power is a means. It is an end. The object of persecution is persecution. Reporter. President Trump refers to himself as a political prisoner and blames you directly.
Starting point is 00:15:45 What's your response, sir? He just smiles. Nine, the innocent or suffering. How does one man assert his power over another, Winston? by making him suffer. Exactly, by making him suffer. Obedience is not enough unless he is suffering. How can you be sure he's obeying your will and not his own?
Starting point is 00:16:05 How about the 75-year-old Paulette Harlow, who's in poor health? She also was somebody who, I believe, survived a communist concentration camp. She's in prison for two years for praying outside of an abortion. Caution Clinic. Truth is redefined. Freedom is the freedom to say that 2 plus 2 equal 4. 11. Hypocrisy from government agencies. The Ministry of Peace concerns itself with war. The ministry of truth with lies. The ministry of love with torture. And the ministry of plenty with starvation. These contradictions are not accidental, nor do they result from ordinary hypocrisy. They are deliberate exercises in Doublethink.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Remember, the FBI is a terrorist organization. It's the American Stasi. It exists entirely to terrorize the American people on behalf of a corrupt and evil regime. No, no, no. The FBI is the center of truth. Contradicting beliefs. Double think means the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one. one mind simultaneously, accepting both of them. Just so we hear, we're clear here, Democrats who are
Starting point is 00:17:25 campaigning against Trump based on dubious charges of sexual assault, they engineered, are still inviting people like Bill Clinton to headline big ticket events, along with his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, even though that's been well established, they're still okay with that. 13. Dates altered. Every record has been destroyed or falsified. Every book rewritten. Every picture has been repainted. Every statue, street building has been renamed. Every date has been altered. Well, in an attempt to replace Easter, the most important Christmas or Christian holiday of the year with transgender day, I think, you know, that kind of does it. This is the beginning and worse is coming. 14. No trust. We have cut the links between child and parent, between man and man.
Starting point is 00:18:14 No man and woman. No one dares trust a wife or a child or a friend any longer, but in the future there will be no wives. There will be no friends. And statistics are lies. The fabulous statistics continued to pour out of the telescreen. As compared with last year, there was more food, more clothes, more houses, more furniture, more cooking pots, more fuel, more ships, more helicopters, more books, more babies, more of everything. Except for poverty, disease, crime, and. insanity. That is where we are, America. We are living in 1984. You know what? I will. I will. I will stand up right now and stand up for our ranchers and all of our, all of our traditions and farming and making our own food here. You know, I tell you, it is, July 4th, Independence Day, just a couple of weeks away. And this is an important one. Will we stand and sing with Bruce Springsteen born in the USA? Or will we make it one of meeting?
Starting point is 00:19:29 Because we are on the cusp of losing everything we hold dear. And this government is doing everything they can to impoverish the people of America and destroy our ways of life, including the rancher. So I will. I will stand up. Will you stand up? An easy way to do that is with Good Ranchers. Good Ranchers is a company that is doing business with all local ranchers all across America. Okay, so three years ago, the Biden administration decided to spend $42 billion to provide high-speed internet to any home or business. and in the rural areas, and none of that has happened. After three years, none of that has happened. Not one.
Starting point is 00:21:01 In fact, it's not projected to go into place until 2030. So Elon Musk is saying, you know, this is government waste. This is the way government works. And it's absolutely true. Who built the country? Who built it? Who built the railroad? Was it the government or was it?
Starting point is 00:21:23 Vanderbilt. Who found oil and brought us into this new century? Rockefeller or the government? Who invented the internet and then made us the information center of the world? Was it Al Gore or was it Steve Jobs? Nikolai Tesla, Edison, Musk. Those are the names we remember, not Senator anybody. The Gaza Pier. We have. have now spent $230 million on that. They didn't account for bad weather. They didn't know maybe the waves would get choppy. And so now we have to take it down. We spent $230 million on it and it's a failure. In the infrastructure bill, $7.5 billion was spent on charging stations all across the country. after two years
Starting point is 00:22:23 we have seven charging stations seven no eight i'm sorry as of may we now have eight all for that seven point five billion dollars wouldn't the world be
Starting point is 00:22:41 a better place wouldn't america be better off if we would have taken forty two billion dollars and handed it to Elon Musk and said provide internet, free internet. Give them your starlink. Everybody gets a star link.
Starting point is 00:22:59 $42 billion. You could have had that done in six months with Elon Musk. Instead, we won't see any of that. God forbid those rour people have any internet. I mean, they'll just start filling it with disinformation. We're going to wait until 2030. Unbelievable. Wake up, America, wake up.
Starting point is 00:23:27 John in Chicago heard me talking about rough greens. He writes in, he said, So I heard your ad, and I said to myself, yeah, right. I found out my parents had purchased some, and I asked if I could try it out of my own dog. He's very, very picky. He'll wait to see if there's any table scraps going into his bowl before touching his food, or sometimes he just won't eat at all.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Well, that doesn't happen anymore, Glenn. This is crazy. He wolves down his food immediately. Thank you, Glenn, and thank you, Rough Greens. Rough Greens is not a dog food. It's a supplement developed by naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black. You sprinkle it on the dog's food. Remember, brown food is dead food.
Starting point is 00:24:05 This gives your dog everything it needs to be healthy. The folks at Rough Greens are so confident that your dog is going to love it as much as my dog does, and apparently John in Chicago's dog does and his parents. Starting point is 00:24:35 Head over to blazTV.com slash Glenn, the code voter fraud. Right now you can save 30 bucks off your subscription to Blaze TV. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. Blaze Media Managing News Editor. is somebody I don't usually have on. Usually says, no, no, no, no. Welcome to Leon Wolf. Hi, Leon. How are you?
Starting point is 00:25:28 Glenn, thanks so much for having me on the program today. It's good to talk to you again. It's been a while. Yeah, good. I know. Good to talk to you. So, by the way, great stuff happening at the Blaze. Congratulations. Blaze.Blaze.com is better than it's ever, I think, ever been, by far better than it's ever been. And you brought a story that we're keeping in front of the paywall because it's so important. You talk to a guy that just doesn't want to talk to anybody. I don't know how you got this.
Starting point is 00:25:56 But there is a guy, a Democrat, who has been fighting against Anthony Fauci and warning that he's going to destroy the world and kill all of us since 2001. Yeah, 2001 was really when it began. You know, I started, you know, researching this. I wanted to really understand, like, how, you know, there's been a lot of discussion about gain of function research. And so I wanted to, you know, like, get an understanding. When did this start? You know, what's been the progress of it? What's the history of it?
Starting point is 00:26:33 What I found going back to, you know, old news reports, even as far back as 2001, when the program began, was that there was one name that continued to pop up over and over and over again, that when people would go and find people, let's get the side of the story that doesn't want this to continue. And it was the same guy over and over again, and his name is Dr. Richard Ebright. And I had followed him on Twitter since the beginning of the pandemic. I didn't really know much about him, but I thought this is fascinating. Here's a guy, you know, I've been following him for two or three years. He's been doing this for two decades. And I thought to myself, you know, the world has heard Anthony Fauci's side of this story. ad nauseum. I think somebody should get this guy's side of the story because it feels like he's
Starting point is 00:27:17 probably been right. So I reached out to him, called him, and he immediately, graciously agreed to give me his time. And, you know, what you see is the result of that. So in the story you go on, you know, it was right after 9-11 and we had anthrax and, you know, we got to prepare in case they start using bio-weapons. And that's when Anthony Fauci started saying, we need gain of function research. And why was Albright against this? So Ebright, or his position? Ebright, sorry. Yeah, Ebright's position, which I think has been vindicated, is that the more biological agents that you put in the hands of researchers, the more dangerous and not less dangerous that you make it. Because historically, and this is true, most biological attacks have not been carried out by
Starting point is 00:28:09 terrorists. They've been carried out by people who were researchers with access to grind, who released them on purpose. And in fact, as I'm sure your listeners will remember, he said that in 2001. The final result of the anthrax investigation was not completed until 2008, totally vindicated that because the person who released all the anthrax was an authorized government researcher who had legal access to the anthrax. That's how he got a hold of it. So he's been right about this all along in every step of the way. And, you know, I just think it's remarkably prescient how accurate he's been. And I want your listeners, if they can, to put themselves in his shoes because I think it's hard for me to even imagine this.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Here he is, he's been saying this for 20 years. And among other things he said is, you know, even if nobody releases this on purpose one day, you can have an accident. LabLaply. He's been warning about this for so long. You know, even if somebody did not say, didn't it didn't even say that even if it doesn't happen on purpose, if we are doing this, we're going to have so many labs all around the world that it just increases the chance that something will leak from one of them, right? That's absolutely correct.
Starting point is 00:29:31 That's absolutely correct. There was a New York Times did a profile on him 20 years ago, and that was the exact point that he made. And here comes 2020. He's been saying this. Fauci's been poo-pooing him this entire time, saying this definitely not going to happen. And lo and behold, here the thing he's been warning about for 20 years happens. And he must have thought to himself, finally, it's terrible that this has happened, but at least I'm about to be vindicated.
Starting point is 00:29:57 And amazingly, through the efforts of Fauci, you know, Fauci convinces the world that he's somehow the good guy in all this. I might have lost my mind if I had been. trying to warn about this for 20 years. And the guy who's responsible somehow becomes the hero of the whole story. And he's a registered Democrat. I mean, he's testified now in front of Congress and he registered Democrat. He said, I voted for Biden. A Biden sign in my lawn. And so you can't really make this into a partisan kind of thing. So where is he, where is he at now? Are people starting to listen to him at all, or is Fauci still going to win on this gain of function stuff?
Starting point is 00:30:41 No, he thinks, and I agree, that there is an emerging bipartisan consensus that something needs to be done. And his testimony, I would encourage anybody who hasn't yet because it was not, it didn't get as much TV coverage as the Fauci hearing in front of the house a couple of weeks ago. But his testimony in front of the Senate on Tuesday, him and there were three other witnesses. I thought was a rare example. Like most of these are just kind of dog and pony shows, everybody's showboating for the cameras. I really felt that the Democrats on the committee, including Gary Peters of Michigan, Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, they were all asking, I thought, really good, intelligent questions that signaled, I think, that people are starting to wake up that we got to get a hand.
Starting point is 00:31:31 handle on this. I mean, this is literally their existence of humanity that this continues. I mean, we, it's tough to say this about a pandemic that killed 20 million and counting, but it could have been so much worse, given, given what they've been working with this entire time, and something does need to be done. And I think it is going to be done probably sooner rather than later. Did you talk to him at all about this bird flu thing? Yes, Mark. I mean, sure. you know, kill 60% of humanized mice. You know, that humanized mice are intended to, you know, predict with some degree of certainty
Starting point is 00:32:18 how many people would actually die if they got the same thing. So we can't say for certain, but you think about a virus that could spread as efficiently as COVID did that kills 60% of people instead of about 1% of people. Imagine how devastating that could be. And they just did this research with no, risk-benefit analysis. Nobody beforehand said, hey, wait, should we even do this? I mean, even the New York Times, you know, back then, just absolutely flipped out about it. I mean, they did an editorial that was not written by a single person, but the entire editorial board signed on says, this research should never
Starting point is 00:32:57 have happened, and the virus they created should have been destroyed. And that just wasn't happening. So does he think it's going to happen with bird flu? Does he think that this is real? You know, it's, it obviously is a concern. I don't know, you know, where the path of it is going to go, but it certainly is a concern among livestock currently in the United States. And just the prayer at this moment is that it doesn't jump into the human population and become transmissible in the way that they intentionally made it so in 2011. We are dealing with a world of mad science. scientists from the tech world with AI to Fauci and and all of the things that we're doing there with with nuclear weapons we're we are living in a time where the leadership of science has gone insane insane and we're going to pay a price yeah it's you know
Starting point is 00:34:10 Reading through this stuff, and the problem is that for so long, we have taken their word for it, that this research that they're doing, and I was guilty of this as well, they assured us, you know, this is being done at the most secure facilities. It's all completely safe. Please don't worry. Everything is on lockdown. And you read in here about stuff where they were found to be transporting highly dangerous, infectious materials around the whole. of CDC and Ziploc bags, leaving them unlocked in refrigerators that had anybody in the
Starting point is 00:34:47 building, including janitorial staff, had access to. Smallpox files laying around in unlocked storage areas. I mean, it's absolutely insane. Researchers accidentally sent deadly H5N1 bird flu to researchers and mislabeled it as non-deadly H9N2. And the researchers only knew about it, when they opened the vials, gave it to chickens, and all the chickens died right away. They were like, wait a minute, this wasn't supposed to happen. It's absolutely, it's insane. The level of negligence that we have seen from the scientific community, all that together, it's very clear. They should not be continued to allow to handle this.
Starting point is 00:35:32 I mean, it can't continue this way. There's a story now on Theblaze.com, lab wars, inside one Democrats, 20-year-old crusade to save the world from Anthony Fauci, Part 1, and it is in front of the paywall so everybody can get it. I just want you to know, Blaze.com is asking people for $3 a month. If you read the Blaze, $3 a month, that's it. And it will unlock all of the stories that we have. Now, these are not the aggregate stories, the stories that everybody has that are easily rewritten or everything else. By the way, we do not use AI.
Starting point is 00:36:14 We never will use AI. So those stories are rewritten or put together by actual human beings. But then we have upped our commitment to investigations, to real journalism, actual journalism. The rest of the media will go to the government and they'll get the money and they'll just become one in lockstep with the government, even more than they are right now. Starting point is 00:37:23 The Blaze has never, ever been anywhere close to as good as it is right now. So thank you for that, Leon. And thank you, Glenn, and thanks to Matthew and Tyler for the work that they've done on that as well. And I just want to encourage your readers. As you note, this is part one. Part two is probably going to drop early next week. Part three is the really scary part because what's incredible to me is that after all this has happened, and I understand that people disagree about the lab like theory.
Starting point is 00:37:50 We don't know that it's definitely true. We don't know that it's not true. But I think everybody at this point would admit probably it's at least 50% true that this happened. And the takeaway of this from the scientific community is not, we need to stop doing this research. It's we need to do even more and more dangerous research. It's really terrifying.
Starting point is 00:38:11 So unless something happens, we could be looking at a very serious situation. I think this is the most important story I've ever covered by far in all my years of doing this. Well, Leon, thank you so much for your work. I appreciate it. Starting point is 00:47:29 It won't last long. Mypillow.com. Before we get to Carol, I want to give you some highlights from this Blaze Media and the blaze.com story, Biden's phony numbers mass true economic pain. The official government numbers in the U.S. economy have been contradictory and confusing for quite a while now. What is clear upon closer examination is that the federal government's overspending and over-regulation are doing serious damage to the economy, and we have yet to see the worst results of those policies. The unemployment increase seems to contradict recent signs
Starting point is 00:48:06 that the economy has been weakening. In addition to the conflicting rise in unemployment, other signs of deterioration include stagnant retail sales, a slowing of consumer spending, weak industrial production, manufacturing orders, increasing consumer debt, depressed by new housing starts, falling annual earnings of full-time employees, and rising commodity prices. The Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell admitted he believes the White House has been cooking the books. This is the Fed chair. stating last week, you have payroll jobs still coming in strong, even though there's an argument they may be a bit overstated. The only job growth in the U.S. is for illegal aliens.
Starting point is 00:48:54 Listen to that. The only job growth in the U.S. are for those illegal aliens who will work for below minimum wage, which also explains why inflation hasn't spiked in the past year as millions of illegal aliens were hired. Legally resident American workers saw no job increase in the past year. And unlawful residents willing to accept wages Americans can't are dragging everything down in the wage category. With employment conditions for American workers stagnant at best, the job market is another indicator that the economic growth is slowing and the Federal Reserve should lower interest rates to reduce its suppression of economic activity. However, they decided not to because it will spike inflation again. The markets have already priced three expected interest rate reductions for the year.
Starting point is 00:49:53 However, suggesting a correction is an order. Even so, the stock market stayed steady after the Fed's interest rate announcement, with the Dow falling slightly and the S&P 500 and NASDAQ rising to new record highs. Economist Robert Geneschi Genetsky calculates that the S&P 500 is currently overvalued by
Starting point is 00:50:17 34%. If investors decide the market is near peak and start selling, taking their profits before prices fall, there is more trouble. This overspending continues from the federal government as well. In the first eight months of the current
Starting point is 00:50:34 fiscal year, the federal government is already accumulated more than one point $0.02 trillion in additional debt, with a staggering deficit of $348 billion last month alone. Investors reportedly believe the U.S. economy is about to enjoy a significant expansion because of AI. That's boosting the stock markets, the shares in tech companies, chipmakers, and even utilities. The government's stimulus injection may be waning and the Fed's interest rate hikes starting to bite, as indicated by the slowing housing and manufacturing production. Higher interest rates hinder business from investing in production and consumers from spending on goods that support those businesses.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Additionally, the Biden administration has implemented a regulatory program that will directly cost the economy $3.95 trillion in 2025 and indirectly result in a staggering $75.05.5.5.000, and indirectly result in a staggering $75.05,000, trillion in opportunity costs for 2025 alone. That might take a bite no matter what AI is going to do. Carol Roth is here with us. Carol, are we beginning to see all of the signs of the wheels coming off of this thing? I've been seeing the signs of the wheels coming off of this thing for quite some time and they're sort of hanging on by a thread. Now certainly a lot of the numbers that are put forth are meant to window dress and say, oh, no, look, the wheels are still turning and they're doing just fine and they're going to last for a while. But we have seen cracks and when you peel back the onion and you look at things like the deficit to GDP, which are about two times
Starting point is 00:52:31 the historic average at a time when they're telling us there's an expansion, we know there's something wrong. Because normally when you have an expanding economy, that means you're taking in more revenue at the government level, and that means that you're running less of a deficit because you have more, you know, money input. What's happening now is the Biden administration has flipped that on its head, and they're using deficits to window-dress the appearance that we have growth. And we're seeing that start to crack because even that, you know, window-dressed growth is starting to come down, We saw the first quarter GDP come in almost a percentage point lower than expectations on the first reading. The second reading was even lower.
Starting point is 00:53:15 So now as is it the second reading, we're at 1.3% for the first quarter, and we're expecting a third reading. And we know things keep getting revised and revised. So this is that they're putting forth to make it seem like everything looks great. We've seen those cracks, and they're just becoming larger and larger. So do you think that there's any way possible that anything, excuse the pun here, trumps the economy? I mean, they always say in elections, you know, it's the economy, stupid. And no matter how you window dress this, everyone knows I don't have as much money or my money doesn't go as far as it used to and I'm having a hard time keeping up. at almost every level this is happening.
Starting point is 00:54:10 So this is an interesting question. There was a mom-mouse poll that came out yesterday that showed far in a way that the economy was the biggest issue. Number one issue on people's minds. But there is a disconnect by party. And obviously when you have the Republican side, and I would think to some extent the independence as well, there's more of a connection with the fiscal reality that's going on, and it becomes, you know,
Starting point is 00:54:39 we cannot afford literally for more years of that. There's a disconnect from the Democrats who don't believe in math and reality anyway. And so even though they may be hurting personally, they're going to make excuses and say that it's for, you know, any sort of litany of other reasons, and it doesn't have anything to do with these specific policies that we know have driven these outcomes, you know, whether it's things like the American Rescue Plan and they direct stimulus that's literally called stimulus, that over-stimulated the economy and caused inflation, they're going to tell you, oh, no, look, inflation has come down even though they're still going to the same grocery stores, the same gas stations, having to pay
Starting point is 00:55:25 the same rent, and they're believing in buying into the gaslighting. So that's my concern, is when you have so many people who are decoupled from reality and being fed this propaganda and this gaslighting and they're willing to eat it for basically their cults, that that is not going to show up in the polls the way that it should if we were operating, you know, with some sort of normal baseline. Carol, I'm going to take a quick break early here because I don't want to interrupt you on this petro dollar thing because I have seen stories that say, This is true.
Starting point is 00:56:02 This is stories that say it wasn't true. I don't think there ever was a, there wasn't a concrete deal. It was more of a handshake with Saudi Arabia with the petrol dollar, wasn't it? Or did we have a written deal? So I was surprised when I saw this as well. You know, I wrote about this and you'll own nothing. We have a whole chapter on it.
Starting point is 00:56:20 And there was a deal put in place, but never wanted to come across anything that said we have a specific expiration, but we know deals that, you know, are made can be shifted and changed. any point in time and I think that's the point we want to talk about. Okay, so we'll do that next because the petro dollar, if the world goes off the petro dollar, that is the beginning of the end of the dollar. It's just a matter of time and what are people replacing it with? And so far, central banks are not replacing it with any currency at all. We'll talk about it here, just a second standby. First, let me tell you about relief factor.
Starting point is 00:57:01 You know, not everything about the good old days was always great. For example, if I told the men my grandfather's generation that had severe pain, you know, that I had severe pain in my hands, they would have been like, yeah, probably from sucking your thumb too much, you whiny little baby. Rub some dirt on it. Quit complaining. I can't imagine the things that people in the past had to, I don't ever want to, you know, wouldn't it be nice if we could go back and.
Starting point is 00:57:28 live and no no no it no it wouldn't George Washington had holes drilled in his jaw and in his mouth to put teeth in there without anesthesia no no thank you no thank you now there are some natural things that you can do without pharmaceuticals to relieve pain and that that would be relief factor it's really good to reduce your Even if you're not in pain, most of our pain comes from inflammation. Also, most of the disease and problems that we have in our body come from inflammation. So if pain is affecting you or you just want to feel your absolute best, try relief factor. Over a million people have tried it. 70% of them go on to order more month after month because they feel better.
Starting point is 00:58:23 800 for relief. 800 for relief. It's relieffactor. 10 seconds, station ID. Okay, so Carol, explain why the petro dollar is so important. All right, so there's a story that was going around last week that the Saudis had ended this agreement that had been put in place in the 70s. So what happened was that when the U.S. went off the gold standard, they were very concerned over what was going to happen. So they created this secret delegation that went to Saudi Arabia as part of a diplomatic tour.
Starting point is 00:59:09 And there was a lot of chaos going on at that time. So not only do we go off the gold standard, the embargo put in place by the Arab oil exporters, it sent the price of oil sky high. So the big objective was basically they, the U.S. didn't want crude oil, you know, energy, which is obviously really what fuels growth around the world, to become an economic weapon. And they knew, okay, well, now we're off, you know, off the gold standard. We've got the Fiat currency.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Wouldn't it be great to have somebody, you know, finance their deficits? So what they did is they went to the Saudis and they said, okay, look, you come, you take all, you know, we're going to, you're going to agree to basically price oil and dollars. That's around the world, oil is going to be priced in dollars. And you're going to have all of these excess, all this excess money. we want you to plow that back into U.S. Treasury. Everything that you get in that you don't spend, you want to plow that back into treasuries.
Starting point is 01:00:09 And why did they want that? Because obviously that helps the U.S. finance their deficits at a very cheap rate. And the Saudi said, okay, we'll do that. But, you know, what we want in return is, you know, basically some economic and military support. And so they made this deal that was brokered. The interesting part is there was a secret piece of it, and that was that the Saudis did not want everyone to know
Starting point is 01:00:35 that they had this huge treasury stockpile. So for more than four days... Why? Wait, wait, wait. Why? Why didn't they? Because they didn't want everyone to know that this was sort of the underpinnings of the deal on how closely they were in bed with the U.S. and the U.S. Okay. Yeah, this is what they did.
Starting point is 01:00:55 So this was actually uncovered by a Bloomberg. report. So for 41 years, what the U.S. Treasury did when they broke out what central banks held the U.S. Treasury, and you can go and see, oh, China holds this, Japan holds this. They lump Saudi Arabia in with 14 other nations. So basically, you know, we had cut this special deal, and it looks like now that there's all this, you know, wonderful demand for treasuries around the world, and, you know, it was kind of unclear that there was this alliance going on. So what does that do? It creates a massive demand for the treasuries because not only are the Saudis in there as huge buyers,
Starting point is 01:01:36 but when you have, you on sort of a de facto basis, the oil being priced in U.S. dollars, then every other central bank is also going to want to make sure that they have a stockpile of a dollar equivalent security, that if they need dollars, they can cash in. And of course, as opposed to holding actual dollars, when you hold the treasury, you do get some income, right? You get an interest rate. Right. So basically this is created, you know, huge demand for treasuries. It means that the interest, you know, was artificially suppressed by that demand
Starting point is 01:02:08 and that, you know, the U.S. government was able to finance their deficits. It also meant that trade around the world was done, you know, in U.S. dollars. So not only are these central banks holding them in the reserves, but there's all this trade that's happening in U.S. dollars. So this actually worked out for quite some time. The Fed holding basically the World Reserve currency and managing it, they held the U.S. dollar fairly stable. And when you saw the price of gas go up, that they would loosen monetary policy. And when it was too low, they would tighten it so that it would stay in some sort of a range.
Starting point is 01:02:49 And sometimes that was at odds with what was going on domestically, but as the holder of the World Reserve currency, That was their job. So hang on just a second. Stop here for a second. Because I just want to make the point. This is right now where we're about to see the change. And it's not happening now. It's already happened.
Starting point is 01:03:09 When we got off the gold standard, we promise the world we'll never put ourselves, you know, absolutely first and go off and do crazy spending and, you know, and just break everything for America. And that's why it was at odds sometimes the Fed's policies were at odds with the United States policy or wants and needs because they had to balance it for the world. And then what happened, Carol? Yeah, so for the economic longks out there, that's called the Triff and Dilemma, you do sometimes have to make these tradeoffs between what happens domestically and what happens internationally. What happened, if we come back to today, is that the Fed has managed to hold.
Starting point is 01:03:55 the dollar, not stable, either for the world or domestically. So it's not like they even made the tradeoff. They just abandoned it altogether. But going back to 2005, they decided when the price of oil shut up due to China's increase in demand, Hurricane Katrina, a whole bunch of things, that they just weren't going to play this game anymore. And that's when things started to crack. Then we had the Great Recession Financial Crisis and so on, so forth. with government continuing to run these huge deficits and just, you're creating a really challenging situation economically. So the big issue, if you are these countries around the world that now have everything priced in dollars, all of your major commodities, because it's not just oil at this point, you know, it then started extending into food, everybody's trading in dollars, we're in the poll position. when you have these huge swings in the dollar,
Starting point is 01:04:53 that means that threatens you as a nation because now you may not be able to afford energy or you may not be able to afford the food for your country. That's a national security issue. And so countries are getting sick of that. We weaponize the U.S. dollar, and at the end of the day, they're starting to move away from it, which threatens our ability to have cheap financing
Starting point is 01:05:17 and our standard of living. And so the Saudis did not break a deal. We've broken the deal long ago. And they're just all doing what would normally be done. It's no longer good for me. It's got to be good for both of us. And so they didn't stop the deal. They're just naturally moving away.
Starting point is 01:05:38 And the money is going to gold, not other currencies at this point, correct? Correct. You got it. Nailed it. All right. Carol, thank you so much. We'll talk again, my friend. My pleasure.
Starting point is 01:05:52 More in just a second. Carol Roth. Glenn. Nick. While we're talking about this, you know, I just said that the central banks are turning to gold, and that is true. They're not moving to a currency. They are moving to something tried and true. Everything is up for grabs.

It's a brand new podcast that comes out once a week. And it is the backstory of history. How nothing really is happening without being connected to something else. Episode three of the new history podcast series called The Backstory is out this weekend.
Starting point is 01:08:05 In fact, I believe, is it just Saturday? We just release it on Saturday, right? Sarah, is that correct? wherever you get your podcast. I'm going to give you a little bit of taste of episode three because it's on Woodrow Wilson. Here it is.
Starting point is 01:08:27 The three men scattered along the mile long pier and lit small fires. Then they fled much faster than they had arrived. It didn't take long for the guards to notice the fires. Some of them immediately sent for the Jersey
Starting point is 01:08:44 City Fire Department. The rest of them wisely ran for their lives. The time was 208 a.m. Dozens of train cars, warehouses, and the entire pier exploded almost in unison. The massive blast was felt as far away as Philadelphia and Baltimore. Scientists later assessed the explosion to be the equivalent of 5.5 on the Richter scale. Almost all of the windows within a 25-mile radius were shattered, including Lower Manhattan in Brooklyn.
Starting point is 01:09:27 Every building in Jersey City within a mile radius of the blast was destroyed. The dynamite filled over 80 train cars, blew a crater in the island so deep it was below sea level and water gushed in, creating a giant pond. In the end, at least five people were killed, including a 10-week-old baby in Jersey City who was knocked out of its crib by the explosion. There were perhaps hundreds of additional victims because the barges at Black Tom Island
Starting point is 01:10:01 were a haven for vagrants and immigrants. Suddenly at 2.40 a.m., a second blast rocked the island. The debris shower from the combined explosions lasted two hours. Firefighters ducked behind the railing of their boats and blindly aimed their hoses at the island to avoid the tornado of shrapnel. Artillery shells and other munitions continued exploding for days. Total damages were estimated at $20 million, the equivalent, of over half a billion dollars today.
Starting point is 01:10:39 The explosion on Black Tom Island was the most destructive terrorist attack in the U.S. until September 11, 2001. Schrapnel from the second major explosion was embedded into the right side of the Statue of Liberty, which faced Black Tom Island. The force of the blast actually pushed Lady Liberty's torch arm against her crown. The resulting damage to the internal framework of the statue's armed closed it off to visitors. Prior to the Black Tom Island terrorist attack, people used to be able to climb all the way up to the torch. But that part of the Statue of Liberty has been closed to the public ever since that night.
Starting point is 01:11:25 Throughout the wild explosions on Black Tom Island that night, the light inside the torch never went out. But it is symbolically appropriate that Americans' access to Liberty's torch was cut off at a time when the Oval Office was occupied by President Woodrow Wilson. This is a great series. It is the point of this eight part series this time on the backstory is how we have just been conned for 100 years into listening to experts and how experts have used different things to move us one way or another. How they have just really tied our hands. This one, because of these things, we went into World War I, not because of Black Tom, but because the president and the experts thought that we were, we should go into war, because it'll be good for America, it'll change the world, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 01:12:39 Because of that, essentially all types of protests were made punishable by law. they launched the most severe restriction on the First Amendment freedom ever. Sending and receiving mail was subject to approval of the post office. American spies, American spies, blanketed the nation. They reported right to the Justice Department. They carried out vigilante justice on their neighbors with no legal repercussions. Sounds like the old Soviet Union or communist China today. But from 1917 to 1919, this was the reality.
Starting point is 01:13:16 in America. And it was a national nightmare, and it was all driven by progressive ideals. Mainly the deception that experts in government knew best on how to keep Americans safe. Don't miss episode one, two, and now three of the Beck story. Episode three is this Saturday, wherever you get your podcasts. And Glenn, you know, I don't take any pleasure in compliment your work or abilities.
Starting point is 01:13:48 But I was on vacation, and maybe this is something about my vacations, but I listened to, it was episode two of this, about Madison Grant, largely. Really good. I mean, it is a really good podcast. It is, you know, really dives in deeply, tons and tons of facts. And you know me. I've read far too much about that era. There was a ton in there.
Starting point is 01:14:12 I didn't know. I mean, it was really, really well done. And I don't know if you had anything to do with it other than voicing it. I assume no. No, it was really, really good. It's a great, you know, there's a lot of these that exist on the left. A lot of these really well-told histories the way the left wants you to understand the world. And the fact that there's some out there on our side and but just using facts and spelling things out the way that they actually happened.
Starting point is 01:14:40 I think it's really important. I just finished voicing episode five, which is on the Supreme Court and the experts and how they have completely just, you won't believe what has happened in the Supreme Court since 1920. You just, Stu, it is absolutely incredible and you will understand the leak of the overturning of Roe versus Wade. You'll understand. You'll be like, I got it. I got it. I've seen this one before. I learned stuff in that podcast that I never knew, never even thought that it could be like that.
Starting point is 01:15:21 Anyway, it's the Beck story. Getting all kinds of reviews from Apple podcasters. It says the format is awesome. Love the deep dives into history. Keep making them. Glenn, you hit a lot of buttons with the first episode for me. Looking forward to episode two on eugenics. Love the new backstory, extremely interesting backstory to history.
Starting point is 01:15:43 I love this series, five stars. I look forward to more. Please, please, please keep making them. From Spotify users, I really like this new podcast a lot. Keep them coming. I'm enjoying this. I would love to hear more. This is the truth that needs to get out.
Starting point is 01:15:57 This is very eye-opening as it tied everything together as it relates to the issues today. This episode, episode two, is so important and it should be made into a documentary. Wonderful narrated, Glenn, keep going and learn so much. Another five stars. I'm thankful for this major history lesson. I knew very little of it. Huge eye-opener. Episode two was amazing.
Starting point is 01:16:17 I'll listen to it twice now. I'm going to listen to it again. Commenting on episode two, five stars. I work in the medical field. I found this fascinating. Thanks, Glenn and team, wonderful. New bits of this history stuff, because I'm a buff myself, but so well done and so clear.
Starting point is 01:16:34 Please continue to make. more. You can find it this Saturday, the Bex story, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is the first season of it. We hope to make several seasons all on different topics, but on history. Again, this one is, we're trying to explain the Fed and the Treasury and Washington and the central banks. They're the ones that got us into the trouble. They're the ones that have been, you know, taking and tweaking the economy. They're the ones that told us we had to violate our capitalist principles to save the free market. They're the ones that design TARP and everything else, and it's not working out. And yet we're still going back to those same experts. Why are we so well trained? Why do we stop? and say, well, I don't know. As a parent, I don't know. You know what's right for your kids. Why do you defer to the experts? Oh, man, it's an amazing story in all fronts. The Beck story

Glenn's newsletter is free and full of useful info delivered every day right to your inbox. Sign up at glenbeck.com. I want to talk to you about something extraordinarily serious for people like me and people who have a conservative voice in America.
Starting point is 01:20:29 A billionaire George Soros, according to the New York Post, is trying to record. recruit the Democrat-controlled Federal Communications Commission to help fast-track his takeover of the nation's second biggest radio network. Soros pumped $400 million into Odyssey in February. It's a network that serves 165 million monthly listeners and includes a handful of conservative shows like Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck and Mark Levin. But the influence is likely to be muted if the billion. A billionaire takes over and imposes his agenda, as has happened with his other media acquisitions. The idea that George Soros is buying hundreds of local radio stations right before a national election and will keep broadcasting Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity and other conservative talk radio host on Odyssey
Starting point is 01:21:23 is just not credible. That's a source that had knowledge of the deal. However, to take control, Soros Fund Management needs help from the FCC. because the money being funneled into buying American airwaves comes from abroad. Under existing FCC rules, foreign company ownership of U.S. radio stations is not allowed to exceed 25%. But a filing acquired by the Post details Soros asking the commission to make an exception for him. the Soros group will usually petition to get its foreign funding sources vetted by the FCC first, but they're trying to waive that process and put it off until sometime down the road, indicating that those foreign stakeholders will be given special warrants in the meantime.
Starting point is 01:22:26 Can you imagine? Forget that it's George Soros. foreign investors coming in and taking the second largest radio network and we're not vetting them. We don't know who it is. By the way, the Soros Fund Management brokered Univision $60 million sale in 2022 of 18 mostly conservative Hispanic radio stations, including the right-wing powerhouse radio Mambi. Soros invested a chunk of cash. in also to the liberal podcast network crooked media the home of pod save america in june 2022 when he bought the latino media network he bought mambi a mainstay of miami's hardline
Starting point is 01:23:19 anti-communist cuban exile community for decades and 17 other spanish language radio stations and for an estimated 60 million dollars the new formed network was then given and run to two former Democratic operatives, Stephanie Valencia and Jess Morales, who worked on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's political campaigns. Venezuelan-born former Radio Mumbai host quit the station after she learned of the takeover of that summer. Ironically, she now hosts a conservative Spanish language radio show on Radio Liberty 790 on the Odyssey Network in Miami, created after the demise of the old Radio Mambi.
Starting point is 01:24:11 So George Soros killed the anti-communist pro-Cuba radio station and network, and by buying all of them up and changing the format and not, you know, making sure it wasn't anti-communist. And now he's buying Odyssey. and he's going to do it again. And this will affect 165 million Americans. You know, people think radio is a thing of a past. It is not a thing of the past.
Starting point is 01:24:44 It is still the place where most people get their news, information, and entertainment. The Glenn Beck Programme. 60% of the vans on Amazon come to vendors independent, like Sac Magic. Hello, here Camille, of Sac Magic. Our compresses, hot-fraud are fabriced here even in Quebec, with the tissue that we're
Starting point is 01:25:08 in New York and the aviose our vines, our presence on Amazon enlarge our basin of clientele to the world entire. Sac magic, it's the compress that all the world prefer. At from here, we're grandi. Trouvee de
Starting point is 01:25:20 little enterprises like the another on Amazon.ca. Hello, America, welcome to the Glenn Beck Program. There is something trending today that I find puzzling and baffling
Starting point is 01:26:35 about how you can't fight against ideas. Yeah, yeah, you can and you must. And I'm going to explain this to you here in just a second. First, let me tell you about the tunnel to towers. There are young people working in this building right now who are either too young to remember 9-11 or were even born after it. That's crazy, isn't it? Sadly, unlike the young adults who work for me, most of their generation, know almost nothing about our nation's darkest day. The guys I work with, thank God these men and women that are in their 20s are just brilliant, and they know more than 80,000 people are still suffering from 9-11
Starting point is 01:27:19 related illnesses. The day is still taking lives. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation's 9-11 Institute helps educators teach K-12 kids by providing non-fiction, personal accounts, told through videos and the Discovering Heroes book series. They have a curriculum that is scripted social studies lessons, a ton of fun activities for kids and historical background for teachers so they can teach with ease. They have a Speakers Bureau for classrooms, even a mobile exhibit museum with 9-11 artifacts in it.
Starting point is 01:27:54 Please, won't you join the Tunnel to Towers Foundation's critical daily mission? More than 95 cents of every dollar you donate to Tunnel to Towers goes to its programs. Help our nation honor its vow to never forget. Donate $11 a month to Tunnel 2T at T2T.org. That's T, the number 2T.org. So this is trending on X right now, and it's about Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari. He's the IDF spokesman. And you've seen him possibly in press conferences and interviews and video clips, trying to show the world. what Gaza really is like, the terror tunnels under the houses and the streets and the yards of deep and hundreds of miles long and filled with weapons and workshops and schools and the weapons
Starting point is 01:28:49 and the UN facilities, the command post under the hospitals, missile launchers everywhere. That's what he's been doing and he's seemed really solid until last week he was in doing a Israeli TV interview. Sorry, it wasn't last week. It was this week. And he said, whomever thinks it's possible to destroy Hamas is wrong. Hamas is an idea. Whomever thinks it's possible to make it disappear is wrong. What? No, you're wrong. First of all, Hamas isn't just an idea. Ideas grow and grow until they become almost an entity. This is the demand. embodiment of timeless, ageless hate. It is a culture of death and child sacrifice. It is one of the
Starting point is 01:29:48 worst evils humanity has ever produced. And it starts with the Nazis. Yes, its core ideas. But Hamas is more than just an idea. It is like the Nazis. That was more than mine Kamp. Stalin's USSR was more than Marxist ramblings. Yes, all of the ideas were at their core. Yes, Nazism is an idea. And we haven't wiped Nazism out after all of this time. It's still here. And it's thriving in Hamas and other places in the Middle East. Yes, hatred dies hard. And no, we're we no longer need reminder. that anti-Semitism is incredibly difficult to get rid of. Thank you very much.
Starting point is 01:30:41 Yes, we still have murder. We still have violence. We still have rape. We still have theft. Not even the Ten Commandments could do away with those. Not only God himself might have something to do with the way God created us and gave us freedom of choice. It has something to do with human nature, I'm pretty sure.
Starting point is 01:30:58 But should we have given up on eradicating the Nazi part of Nazi Germany? Should we have stopped at Berlin's gates? You know, we can't win. Nazism is an idea. It can't be eliminated. There's really no point. We should stop this. Should we have done that?
Starting point is 01:31:20 Should we have allowed Stalin to take the whole world? Should we end all policing like they're starting to here in America? Because someone's always going to steal and murder. I don't know if you've seen that where they are trying to do things like that. It's not going real great. I'm up here in the mountains, the mountain west. We're mowing our lawn in front. We just have field grass.
Starting point is 01:31:53 We mowed the front of the lawn around the house. So no rattlesnakes are right up against the house. Well, there will always be snakes. Yeah, but shouldn't we at least try to keep the snakes away? Couldn't we try to, I don't know, take them at least remove, those that are right at your feet of your children or under your children's bed for the love of peace or will you just say you know there's always snakes honey I'm not gonna mow the lawn there will always be snakes are you seriously suggesting that we're not better off than we would be had we left the Nazis in power or if the USSR hadn't lost the Cold War are you seriously trying to say that we wouldn't be better off Yeah, you're right. Their ideas are not dead and maybe they never will be. But Nazi Germany is dead and the world is immeasurably better for it.
Starting point is 01:32:55 It's not just an idea. It's not just an entity now. It's a government. Shouldn't we not try to take out Hamas? Take out every last member we can. Deny it both rule over territory and the ability to harm anyone ever again. You know, well, it's just Israel, Israel, Israel. Really? Really? Do you think that when they're done with Israel, they'll stop with the Jews? History has shown that we can.
Starting point is 01:33:36 You know why we fight communism so hard now? Because the left infiltrated our schools, our media, and everything else. And whitewashed the Soviet Union. Stalin was worse than Hitler, far as death toll. But we don't watch documentaries about Russia all the time, do we? I don't know why. But boy, they've made quite a killing on the Nazi stuff. And maybe it's because the Nazis had snappy uniforms designed by Hugo Boss.
Starting point is 01:34:15 Maybe it's because a country we could relate to is one of the scientific wonders of the world suddenly went dark and insane. But we've taught it. it over and over and over again how bad that is. And yes, that idea still is around, but we're not fighting a government. This, I think, was a huge boost to Hamas's morale and that of its friends and poison for the Israeli morale. Are they in a fight that the IDF itself doesn't think it can succeed and win? If you're fighting and you don't believe that you can and will prevail, then you will not prevail. Think about all of those who have fought and died and bled. The hundreds of thousands of Israelis still displaced from their homes. Almost nine months in, the millions who fear
Starting point is 01:35:30 and pray for their relatives and friends in uniform, the millions more who understand that if Hamas doesn't die today, if we don't take out this snake and mow the lawns and cut the heads off of all of them we can find, it will come back tomorrow and maybe bring some friends. and do worse than last time. Was this message approved by his government? Because the government is supposed to be in control of the army. The government said the security cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,
Starting point is 01:36:09 has defined the destruction of Amos military and governing capabilities as one of the goals of the war. The IDF, of course, is committed to this. Okay, this should terrify everybody. not just Israelis. Because at best, this is politics. Israelis trust the IDF to the rank of colonel. Anybody above that political appointments, you know,
Starting point is 01:36:37 at least as much as their military merit appointments, they don't trust them just like we don't trust ours. We trust our soldiers. But when you get up atop of the Pentagon, it's all politics. same thing except Israel's government is in real trouble it may fall the parliamentary system and all Netanyahu's chief rival has left the war cabinet now during a hot war for obviously political motives at worse this is a sign of one more very serious breakdown in the west's moral fiber this time it's it's the last useful fighting force in the area
Starting point is 01:37:20 This isn't about refugees. This isn't about territory. This is about good versus evil. Civilizational. Existential. Not just for Israel. The West is riddled with supporters of Hamas and their clones. They're marching in our own streets. Do you think if Hamas is re-energized it's going to be good for America? are common enemies declare openly and often that they intend to take down the great Satan not just the little one Israel is the little Satan we are the great Satan
Starting point is 01:38:08 they will come for the as they say the Sunday people not just the Saturday people if Israel fails in this the world will be darker for it but it will not stop there they will come for the rest of us This, I don't even, spokesperson is all I can, is wrong. We must stand.
Starting point is 01:38:41 We have to take out the monsters and defend the house. Back in a minute. Let me tell about real estate agents I trust. I want you to picture in your mind what it will take to sell your house. Do you know even? What is it going to take in this market to sell your house? Okay. Let me ask you if you know exactly what it takes.
Starting point is 01:39:11 If you know all of the things you need to know, I don't. I don't even know how to interview or didn't know how to even interview a real estate agent. You know, honestly, it's been like, can you sell my house? Yes, I can. Okay, let me sign. That's the way it's been with at least me. I don't know what to ask them. I don't know what to ask about the best business practices.
Starting point is 01:39:33 I don't know what's your ad budget going to be for this house. Tell me about your website traffic. How many people do you currently have looking for houses like this? You know, all of this stuff. And are you an ethical business person? Do you actually care about me in my house? I need a real estate agent I can trust. And that's what we have done.
Starting point is 01:39:58 I've opened up a company and we have spent years, building it and researching, looking for the real estate agents that you could trust. Real estate agents, I trust.com. Go there, tell us where you're buying or selling. We'll try to find the right agent for you if we have one. It's real estate agents. I trust. com.
Starting point is 01:40:18 10 seconds, station ID. It is really, I mean, this is, uh, this is really truly frightening. And then you add on top of it, what is, what is happening. Why is Congress, debating expanded draft and military recruitment challenges. What do you mean expanded draft? You know, I had to call my sister down the other day because she said, Glenn, they've done some,
Starting point is 01:40:54 they're automatically registering for selective service. And I said, we've always had to, we've always had selective service registration. You just didn't know about it because you're a girl. But every guy knows about it. When you turn 18, you have to register for the draft. That doesn't mean you're going to be drafted. I registered when I was 18.
Starting point is 01:41:11 I never served. And, but that's the way it is. But now she calls me up and they, and the rumor was, this is because they're going to reinstitute the draft. Well, you know what? What is this? Congress is weighing proposals to update mandatory conscription, including by expanding it to women for the first time may automatically be registering those eligible to be called up. That's what that's one thing. automatically registering people is one thing but why are they talking about updating mandatory
Starting point is 01:41:52 conscription i guess we should have chip roy on because he's dead set against this find out what they he thinks they're they're up to i mean we are we are about to get our butt handed to us around the world i was talking earlier today stew i i got to find this video i saw it yesterday it was from like i don't know some some country you know around the former soviet block and uh it was their president he was speaking english and he was just doing an interview with a reporter and uh you could see how deeply disturbed he was by all of this and he's like this is going to get the whole world killed this little game of war that russia and america and nato are playing it's going to get all of us killed
Starting point is 01:42:47 He's like because neither side can back away now. If the West backs away, what happens to the West's credibility and NATO's credibility? It's gone, especially because of, you know, Afghanistan and everything else. If Russia backs away, how does he hold his country together? How does he do it? He'll be dead. So there's neither side can back away. And he said, no one is willing to even.
Starting point is 01:43:17 talk peace. He said, I've never seen anything like it. And he said, we're talking about nuclear annihilation of the world if these two powers go to war. Yeah, I don't know. I'm sure you covered it earlier in the week, but there was a leaked negotiation document about Ukraine and Russia early in the war having peace talks. And I don't know if they would, I would say getting close, but had at least gone down the road of something that might end up in an arrangement that ended this thing. and it wasn't pursued nearly enough. Now they're nowhere near these talks. And like to add to your point here, Glenn,
Starting point is 01:43:57 there was a story out today about how North Korea and Putin and Putin, you know, Putin for years and years and years had kind of kept North Korea at arm's length and tried to stop them from advancing their nuclear capabilities because they, just like everyone else on Earth, saw them as really unstable, right? Like they saw this as a threat, potential threat. to them, even though they were somewhat allied, they didn't want to go too far, let them get too far down that road because they kind of like the idea that their technology was pretty crappy and every other missile went into the ocean without doing what it was supposed to. And that was
Starting point is 01:44:38 an okay situation for Putin. Well, now he's been pushed to the situation. And again, a lot of this by his own doing. I'm not excusing Putin by any means. But the fact that the situation exists and that we keep escalating this, we keep admitting that we're escalating it, we keep admitting we're crossing our own red lines, has now pushed him to a place where he's embraced Iran, Kim Jong-un and others. Kim Jong-un. And in exchange for more ammunition and conventional arms is now aligning themselves more closely and allowing North Korea to become a more serious threat to the rest of the world.
Starting point is 01:45:18 So now you have this one situation that you went into that maybe we could have got out of a long time ago. And instead, we keep pushing and pushing and pushing and saying we're going to keep funding this till the end, no matter what. And now we have a whole new threat popping up in another part of the world with another crazy person. And we're going to have to deal with that one too. So let me add this to the fire here. Have you heard about Hungary? NATO is pushing Hungary, you must accept refugees. And Hungary is like, no, we're not going to do it.
Starting point is 01:45:54 There's a couple of countries that know exactly what is happening. You're destroying the Western culture. No. And now they're pushing them so hard. They're going to push them right into the arms of Russia and China, right into the arms. Well, what? I mean, the people of the world should have a say in all of this. Because it's the people of the world that will be vaporized if these people have their way.
Starting point is 01:46:25 Boy, this election has never, ever been more important. And may God save the world, may God save humanity from these mad scientists and social scientists. May God save the Republic. You know, I'm kind of angry with God right now. I mean, not in a, I mean, we're just going to have to have a talk. We're going to sit down. He's going to talk to me seriously and be like, really? And then, you know, I'll have to say, now there's some things here that I don't understand that you're going to need to explain to me.
Starting point is 01:47:21 And one of the, like that's that we're going to, one of those is how come as a teenager, when I don't need the sleep, I can sleep. but as an adult when I want to sleep when I need the sleep I can't sleep what's the deal well until we get to have that face to face with God let's let's talk about Z factor Z factor comes from relief factor teenagers don't need it but if you have a hard time falling asleep it'll help you fall asleep faster sleep better stay asleep longer with no residual effects in the morning because it's all natural. And it comes Z Factor from Relief Factor. Go to Relieffactor.com. 800 for relief, 800 for relief. Relieffactor.com.
Starting point is 01:48:13 And subscribe to Blaze TV right now. BlazTV.com slash Glenn. Code voter fraud will save you 30 bucks. This is quite remarkable what is happening with the liberal TV host. after years of working to silence conservatives and never standing up for a conservative or a conservative even journalist, let alone an opinion person that Rachel Maddow is. They've never stood up for us. I have personally stood up for many of them because I don't believe that anyone should have their right to free speech curtailed.
Starting point is 01:49:17 But that's not what they believe. But now they're afraid that Trump is going to get. in and shut them all down. At what point in his in his first four years did you see that happening? Well, he's so vindictive. Why would he be vindictive? What have you what have you done something to make him vindictive? He might even go through the IRS.
Starting point is 01:49:40 Really? You mean like Barack Obama used the IRS to go after people? The Tea Party? Remember you didn't care about that story? Because it was just the IRS. and it was to tea party people anyway, so it didn't matter. Or he might even go through sponsors to get us driven off the air. Oh, you mean like media matters and what they've done.
Starting point is 01:50:04 Oh. Well, gee, I'd hate that to happen to you. And I mean that sincerely. But will you ever recognize that that's what your side did to us? No, I don't think they will because we're not worthy. of having an opinion. Our opinion doesn't matter to them. You know, I got to tell you, the Babylon B was right when they were talking about the view being taken off the air if Trump wins. The Babylon B said it turned every person in America into a single issue voter. I'm with Trump.
Starting point is 01:50:49 Last night I did something about how we are, we've entered a time where the government has been weaponized against anyone who disagrees with the government. And I had Harmeet Delano. Do we have that cut from Harmeet where she's talking about, I said to her, you know, what do you think this is all about with Donald Trump? Listen to what she said. How close do you think we are to losing the justice system? Well, I think we're going to see when the sentencing occurs, you know, next month of President Trump and this sham, ludicrous prosecution in New York, which is the worst of the four, the shoddiest of these cases that he's been facing, I think, I personally think the goal here is to trigger civil unrest in this country. And if there's a incarceration sentence passed down, there will be
Starting point is 01:51:48 unrest in this country because of people's shock and protest against this. And I think that's going to be used to crack down on conservatives and, again, try to influence the outcome of this election. That's terrifying. But it's not just Donald Trump. They're making sure that everyone, everyone, the federalist has a great story out. Biden's DOJ wants peaceful pro-lifers in prison for praying. And they go through the prosecution of people that are violating the Face Act. they when Joe Biden took office they have had at least a hundred prosecutions since the
Starting point is 01:52:37 inception of this act in 1994 when he got into office there were two dozen pro-lifers that were prosecuted by the Department of Justice the FACE Act charges that number in the last two years has grown. Just in the first, just in the first 2022 alone, that first year, two dozen people were prosecuted, and including an 80-year-old woman who survived a concentration camp, she got a year in prison. Why? This is just to intimidate people. This is just to poke, poke, poke, poke. The judge, did you hear about the judge that ordered the newspaper guy to court for exposing the trans shooters manifesto?
Starting point is 01:53:38 Now this is that Nashville story that the federal government doesn't want you to hear. Why? Why? We all know why because it works against the government's agenda. That's why. it shows a very frustrated trans person who doesn't believe there's any hope for her at all. Why? Because that's what she's been spoon fed by the left. And so, a newspaper guy, the Tennessee star, he goes and he gets a copy of part of it. It's a diary before. It's not the manifesto. It's part of the diary before.
Starting point is 01:54:23 And he releases it. He does it all legally and everything else. But this judge ordered him to appear in front of court and said, you have some answering to do. Well, he didn't get a chance to answer at all. He got into court and thank goodness, Blaze News investigative reporter Steve Baker was in the courtroom all day Monday. And she steps up and she says, you know, this is a violation of my corridor. order, what are we going to do? And Steve says, it's pretty clear that she kind of was feeling some heat from somewhere because she was kind of also like, I, I don't, I'm going to just, I just want to
Starting point is 01:55:11 gather facts here. She was loaded for bear to put this guy in jail. And then by the time the hearing came, she's like, I just want to gather facts. But she only gathered facts from one side. she didn't ask the guy who she said had to appear with his attorney they only got a few words out and every time they tried to say something she said your your argument isn't right now i'm not ready to hear your argument yet but she was listening to all the people that were throwing him under the bus and then she ended it with i'm going to take all of this under advisement what does that mean That means that that reporter and anybody else now has the sword hanging right above their head, ready to come down at any time. They have to live in fear.
Starting point is 01:56:03 Did I do something wrong? Did I not do something wrong? Should I be doing this now? Can I go and write any more stories? I don't want my head chopped off. This is not America. This is not America. You know what's also not American?
Starting point is 01:56:21 Listen to this. AIDS close to President Joe Biden are beginning to question the campaign's focus on January 6 and the democracy. But they believe that their voice and if they voice their concerns, they'll be labeled disloyal and exiled. This is what revolutionaries do. They eat their own. You know, I was told once, hire the smartest people, hire anybody who is smarter than you. And with an exception of stew, I've done that. Hiring people who are smarter than me because I'm going to throw him a bone.
Starting point is 01:57:01 I don't mean any of this. But Stu has saved my bacon a billion times because he's not necessarily smarter than I am. He is less reactive than I am. And sometimes I start to become a bull in the China shop. And the one thing Stu provides for me is balance. Hold on, wait, take a breath. Otherwise, I think this show would have been off long ago. Okay.
Starting point is 01:57:37 You hire people to tell you, Stu has, I mean, we've had knock down, drag out fights before. Nothing personal, just opinions on things of what can be. said what can't be said and i mean stew they've gotten heated right sure time but it's never yeah but it's never affected our relationship because we know our roles he knows my job is to push his job is to push and that is important and i can't imagine working in a place to where no if i say anything like guys i think we're going to lose the election Glenn uh i think we're going to lose the election Glenn uh i think what you're planning on doing on the air is going to help us lose the network or going to lose all of your listeners. It's still my decision, but they should say it to me. I want, there's nothing
Starting point is 01:58:34 worse than having somebody come to you and say, well, I could have told you that. Well, why didn't you tell me that? Well, you wouldn't have listened. No, you didn't give me the chance to listen. That's why communism never works. That's why fascism never works. because everybody's too afraid. Do you know, D-Day could have ended a lot different if everyone around Adolf Hitler wasn't afraid to wake him up when the attack happened. They let him wake up naturally. They kept calling from Normandy going, uh, can I talk to the furor, please? What would he like us to do? Uh, he's still asleep. You might want to wake him up. No, we're not going to wake him up. You can't run anything that way. But that's what they're promoting. That's why Oakland is. is in the trouble it's in.
Starting point is 01:59:32 Oakland's one of the most dangerous cities in the country. I mean, I think it's always been kind of like that. But, and why has it always been like that? It's always been like that because it's always been bad crap crazy. That's why. It's not crazy enough for you in San Francisco? Just hop a boat. Go over to Oakland.
Starting point is 01:59:51 They're nuts. But now the people are like, you know what? Maybe we shouldn't have hired this progressive mayor and this progressive district attorney because it's not. working out now yeah yeah it's not working out for you is it we are we're living in a country and we started the program and we'll kind of end the program in this the same kind of theme we started the program with 15 things that are right from 1984 that are happening right now right now and you can either choose to look at it or go well no not nothing
Starting point is 02:00:39 Nothing in my life in this country has ever been like 1984. Never. Not in my lifetime. The Red Scare, maybe. But nothing else. There's 15 things we lined out at the beginning of the program. This is it. This looks like 1984.
Starting point is 02:01:00 Like on the nosy. We just have to recognize it. And know that our, our constitution, our representative republic is hanging by a thread. And now it's time for choosing. I know I am not here to please man because you can't please man and God. I know who I work for and it's not man. And when it comes down to it, that's my answer.
Starting point is 02:01:39 And I believe God gave us freedom of choice. And so we must fight for freedom of choice, fight for freedom of speech, opposition in all things. So I don't want where Rachel Maddow gone, she should have a right to say it. I should have a right to say it as well. Opposition in all things. It's good for us to think things out like that. Back in just a minute. All right.
Starting point is 02:02:06 Let's talk to you about our sponsor this half hour. It's the burner launcher. Sometimes you'll want to shoot somebody, but not to kill. them. Now, I'm not talking about, you know, casually going, I just would like to take that person. I mean, there's somebody who is, you know, robbing the store and you're, I don't know, back with the beer, you know, by the refrigerators. And, you know, he's only carrying a knife or he's trying to fistfight. Or somebody who's approaching you who doesn't have a gun and, you know, is challenging you to a fistfight. This hasn't happened, but it could happen at any time, especially when you look at the way our society is breaking down.
Starting point is 02:02:50 The burner launcher gives you an ability to shoot and not kill. Shoot instead tear gas. When you hit tear gas, if you're within six feet of them, they're going to be incapacitated for about 40 minutes. This is legal in all 50 states. no permits or background checks are required. It can be used by all age groups over 18. You can pack it in your luggage. So, you know, let's say, hey, honey, let's take a vacation.
Starting point is 02:03:20 I don't know. In Oakland, you can bring your burner launcher with you. Powerful deterrence. Less lethal option. Burna. B-Y-R-N-A dot com slash Glenn. Get 10% off your purchase now. Burna.com slash Glenn.

Starting point is 02:04:11 The previous content identified as mildly humorous. Humor fluid. The Glenn Beck program will be right back. There's something else here now. Something new. From exclusively on Paramount Plus, it's the series Stephen King calls Scary as Hell. Everything here is impossible, but it's also real.
Starting point is 02:04:53 Sci-fi vision comes up the best show streaming right now. We're running out of time and we still don't know the rules. Don't miss what the movie blog calls something you need to watch. Saving those children is how we all go home. From Binge All Episodes exclusively on Paramount Plus. Disney has just killed Star Wars. Absolutely destroyed it. Tomorrow we're going to talk a little bit about this.
Starting point is 02:05:17 The new Star Wars Disney series, I don't even know what it's called, but it's, apparently it's about lesbian space witches. Is that true? So I think it is. And they, and Luke is, or who's the first little kid? You know, he's got all the metaclorians and all that crap in him. Remember in episode one? Anakin. Yeah, that's Anakin.
Starting point is 02:05:45 Apparently, that was conjured up by Space Witch. No Metaclorians. I mean, oh my gosh. It is. I was really into it. I was into the Star Wars thing my whole life. Oh, I was too. to go see all the movies at the theater, like first day when I could.
Starting point is 02:06:01 Like, they've totally shaken me. I literally have no possibility of watching one episode of this. None. I have no interest at all. Completely shaken me. That's impressive. And I would have never thought that was possible. Because we would say, ah, it's a bad Star Wars.
Starting point is 02:06:16 You know, episode one was bad, but it's still Star Wars and blah, blah, gone. Gone. All that's gone. Dead. Gone. And Beck Program.
