Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, let me tell you about sweat block. If you're one of the people in the world who maybe live in Texas and you're perhaps dealing with 900% humidity and 144 degrees Celsius on a daily basis, you may want to use sweat block. Sweat block, you know, Glenn's been using this for a while. And when he first talked about it, like, I didn't know what he was talking about, honestly. It didn't even sound possible. They had these like magic wipes and you apply them once and they keep you sweat free for days. I didn't even know that was possible, honestly, before Sweatblock. Even Jeffie's using Sweatblock, I've heard.
Starting point is 00:00:35 And if Sweatblock will work on Jeffie, it is a miracle product that I can tell you. Give it a shot. If you haven't tried Sweatblock yet, this message is for you. You're talking about improved confidence, and it comes with a discount. Use the code Beck at Sweatblock.com. Sweatblock.com for 20% off. The promo code Beck at Sweatblock.com. It's also available on Amazon, but why not save the cash?
Starting point is 00:00:56 At sweatblock.com, the code is Beck. What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck program. I'm featuring Pat and Stu today for Glenn, who's on vacation this week, and I believe next. But we'll hold down the fort until he gets back. Something that has never happened before in American history. It just transpired yesterday. And it's not good.
Starting point is 00:02:06 We'll get into what that is in 60 seconds. The tag of a summary. Do you think it's strange how the left seems to hate history and is always wanting to rewrite it? It's pretty simple, really. If you cancel the founding fathers and their ideas, you can cancel our form of government. Everything that we love about this country, you can wipe out. And gosh darn it, doesn't that seem like what they try to do on a daily basis? If you want to give kids a chance to resist these bad ideas, they need to learn the stories and the ideas behind the great American experiment.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Once they learn those, they're going to know what this country is about. The Tuttle Twins, new history books use storytelling to teach powerful ideas and stories behind America's founding. They're beautifully illustrated books that really help your kids learn while they actually are entertained. I know my kids, I don't know that they are entirely interested in learning at this point, but they are very interested in these books and they wind up learning and they don't even know it. They just, we trick them into learning about our history. But they love these books. They love the books because they're just great stories. stories. Go to Tuttle Twinsbeck.com. Right now, you can order the book and you can get entry
Starting point is 00:03:10 info into a new vacation giveaway. Tuttle twinsbeck.com. Order the book. Get the giveaway details now. No purchase is necessary to enter that particular giveaway. But you go to Tuttle twinsbeck.com For more information, Tuttle twinsbeck.com. You know, there are cynical people who are going to say this is all about politics. No. Yeah. Yeah, they will. I think they will. I think the... Where would they get that idea from, though? I don't. These right wing cooks, you know, the ideas they come up with spur of the moment. They're just so nutty.
Starting point is 00:03:45 But the sum will say Donald Trump was indicted simply because of political reasons. And wow, it's true. He was first U.S. president, former or otherwise, to be indicted on federal criminal charges. So, fascinating. And it's all over the document thing. It's all over the Mar-a-Lago documents that he had that, you know, what is he, he's indicted on espionage charges? Well, I think, you know, we've obviously all seen spy movies, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:25 And most of the spy movies are based on a person with legal access to documents that then stores them in their closet. Most of them, yeah. They're almost all like that. Yeah, like most of them are like, okay, wow. Oh, the drama is here, and then you find out, oh, he kept him in his closet, and then they bring them into court. Yeah, when you think of like a James Bond scenario, that's exactly what comes to mind, isn't it? Not that they sold them to spies or they sold them to foreign entities, which he didn't do. Or they tried to profit billions of dollars off a nuclear secret.
Starting point is 00:04:58 That's, you know, that's sometimes, there's an occasional movie that sounds like that. But most of them are, hey, wait a minute, that area where the closet was was too highly trafficked. That's usually the plot for most Bond films. So that area is too highly trafficked, but the garage where Joe Robinette Biden stores his Corvette, nobody's ever been in there, and it is impenetrable. Right. You saw Mission Impossible, the one where Tom Cruise was hanging down for the cables and he was... Yeah, in that garage when he was trying to break into the garage.
Starting point is 00:05:34 That's where that shot was filmed there. It was a Joe... had the laser security system already in there. Yeah. Right. That's how that happened. Right. You would think. There's so many ways to go here. And I think the most obvious one
Starting point is 00:05:47 is the fact that Trump is in the middle of a bunch of investigations by his political opponent and what are the ramifications of that. But can I take one little half step back from that first, Pat? You may. Am I the only one who doesn't really care if Donald Trump or Joe Biden had a few documents from their time in office that were in their garage or closet. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:14 I just don't really care. You don't care. I just don't care. Oh my gosh. These are documents. Now, again, like espionage. Okay, let's say the guy who was recently leaking stuff to his Discord group. Remember this?
Starting point is 00:06:29 He had the documents about the Ukraine war and he was leaking them to his friends at his Yeah. Yeah. You can see how something like that could be a real problem. He shouldn't have had access to those documents. He put them out into a public form. A bunch of people who should have had no access to that information whatsoever got access to that information. Right. Real problem.
Starting point is 00:06:51 We don't know what happened to it. Maybe it could leak two foreign entities. Maybe it could threaten American security. Maybe it could threaten Ukrainian security, which seems to be much more what they're interested in these days. more sacrosa saying than American security. Exactly. Are you kidding me? I can see why that would be a real thing to be concerned about. Now, look, this guy's evident.
Starting point is 00:07:12 You know, his motivation in this case seems to be kind of like, I wanted to be cool among my friend group. I don't know that this indicates that he should be in prison for the rest of his life. But I can understand why that would be a big story. Yeah. Yep. The story we're talking about now, even if you take at least what we know of this indictment and we don't have it yet, we won't have it all until Tuesday, it looks like.
Starting point is 00:07:32 But what basically is going on here is Donald Trump was president of the United States. He could see any of these documents. He had all of this information already. He left office, you might remember, pretty chaotic time when he left office. You know, the period between January 6th and January 20th was a little rocky. If you don't remember that. He leaves office with a bunch of documents. They say, hey, we'd like those documents back.
Starting point is 00:08:00 He gives back a bunch of documents, but not all the documents. And no one is accusing them of selling them to the Saudis. No one is accusing him of selling them to the Russians. No one is accusing him of using these to launch a secret war in another country. What they're accusing him of is not giving them back in a timely fashion when they wanted them. Yeah. And like, look, can they find a legal loophole in this? law to get him in trouble on that. It's possible.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Yeah. But like, step back from that. Does this change the way you think of him? Does this change the way you think he would govern as president of the United States? Do you actually care? No, I really don't. I just don't care. And I will be honest with you, I don't really care if Joe Biden did it either. I don't really care. However, on that issue, I will say, if it's this big a deal with Trump, you've got to reciprocate with Biden. Right. You have to. And that's kind of my point here. You have to.
Starting point is 00:09:02 It's that both of these, neither one of these stories should be the first time a president is indicted on federal charges. It's too stupid of a story. Like, at least some of the other accusations that have been thrown at Donald Trump, again, most of them have had nothing behind them. But at least some of them were serious accusations. This is record keeping. He put it in the wrong filing cabinet. This is what we're going to bring a president down on? It's stupid.
Starting point is 00:09:30 It's just freaking stupid, Pat. But I love the fact that the narrative from the left right now is that it is so important to mention that special counsel Jack Smith would never have brought these charges if he didn't have mountains and mountains of evidence of wrongdoing. This one again? We're getting this one again, Pat? Yes, we are. Yeah. Wasn't that the same thing with what's his face? with the Russian hoax garbage.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Right. Like if you could say like, if you were to plot all of these storylines on a chart and they all started at day, day one, right? And they all had this run of when you found out about them till their expiration date. Yeah. Russia, Ukraine, I don't know. I can't even name all the freaking scandals that they've thrown at this guy. At this point on the chart, they always say they have all the information.
Starting point is 00:10:29 Yeah. They always leak to the press that they have impenetrable evidence that is going to bring this guy down. They always say the same thing at this point. They want it so bad that they just claim they have it. And they don't. And they want you to believe it. They want you to believe it before you see the evidence. They're trying desperately to stop him from running for president.
Starting point is 00:10:52 I think they're at this point, I think they're pretty afraid that he'll beat him. Yeah. I think that's certainly possible. I mean, they certainly don't want him to be president again. Oh, well, that's for, yeah. I think, you know, I don't, I go back and forth on what they're trying to do here a little bit. I know, I do too, but from the perspective of, like, I don't think they can be so naive that they would not understand this would help him in the primary, right? They have to understand doing this to him.
Starting point is 00:11:23 It's going to be a big boost to him. It's going to hurt Ron DeSantis and Tim Scott and Nikki Haley. and all of his other opponents, it's going to galvanize people in his support. And so it likely will help him get through the primary. It's not a guarantee he'll win the primary by any means, but it's possible it will help him. I think it's likely that it will help him.
Starting point is 00:11:42 And if you consider that the option, then I guess you're saying either they believe they're going to beat him in the general. This is going to hurt him in the general, which is, I think, a plausible argument. Yes, us on the right that have followed every aspect of the Russia investigation are going to say, I can't believe they're trying this again.
Starting point is 00:12:00 I can't believe there's another one of these. Some moderate who doesn't know anything about the Russia investigation other than what they see on their occasional Twitter feed or Facebook feed and have no information about this and just keep seeing indictment, indictment, it could be another story in the general. And that's a real concern you have to think about when you're looking at this stuff. Did you see what Jamie Raskin, who was a Democrat from Maryland, had to say yesterday about this situation?
Starting point is 00:12:25 Really hard for me to just not turn. him off. I just can't take it. I applaud you, Pat, for sticking with it and actually reading what he said, because I was not willing to go that far. Now, I didn't listen to what he said, but I did read it because it was only one line. But he said that Trump put U.S. national security in grave danger. Oh, stop. By pursuing, quote, yet another lawless personal agenda. What's the agenda? Really? What did he do? What did he do? He had the in boxes and did he go down there and look at them from time to time? Probably not. He probably didn't even do that. But if he did, so what? He already knew about it in the first place. That's why he took them. I don't know. If you're alleging, if there's evidence that he sold them to
Starting point is 00:13:14 Russian spies, if the FSB or KJB or whoever is in power in Russia now, if he sold them to some Russian spy, okay, and you've got evidence of that. Oh, huge. Photographic evidence. I want him thrown in prison. I can go with you on the grave danger thing. I want to throw in prison if he did that. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:13:36 As I think every member of the audience would. Yes. However, that's not even being alleged here. No, it's not. They're not even accusing him of that. You know, what? Which I guess pretty much means it's not even alleged. That's how that works.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Yeah. My understanding. I mean, you could be mistaken, forgiven for that for that. when you see the word espionage included, as if this guy was hiding, you know, in a trench coat in some, you know, parking garage somewhere leaking to Chinese spies. Now, look, if,
Starting point is 00:14:06 if Donald Trump had a threesome with Eric Swalwell and a Chinese spy and gave them the documents, I would be really worried about that. Well, did he wee on him? I don't know. Let's ask Christopher Steele. And then maybe we could find that out. But, like, Pat, what, I don't know what happened here yet, right?
Starting point is 00:14:22 And it will be months and months and months. after, you know, today that we will probably find out. Probably after the election. Probably after the election. And they'll just continue this garbage. They'll just continue to throw stuff at the wall to see what sticks so they can hopefully derail him by November 2024. And at that point, when we do find out what went on after the election, they will just
Starting point is 00:14:44 bury it on page 18, right? Like they'll say, oh, yeah, he got off. Oops. I mean, what have they said about Russia? Nothing. Nothing. They just don't even bring it up. There's no apology.
Starting point is 00:14:53 There's no nothing. No. So all of this goes on. But like, what's the most likely scenario here? Donald Trump leaves office. He's a guy who thinks he's been wronged in the election. He's angry. He pulls a bunch of boxes of documents that he believes are his.
Starting point is 00:15:07 You know, I was in the middle of this. This is a letter from Kim Jong-un to me, to me, Donald Trump. That's me. My name's at the top of it. It says to me. I bring it home to my house. Then these people who just screwed me out of it. Again, this is Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:15:20 These people that just screwed me out of an election now want this stuff back? Screw them. No. Oh, I could. Absolutely. Highly plausible. Yeah, it is. Now, is that consistent with the Presidential Records Act? Probably not. You know, probably not.
Starting point is 00:15:35 If that's the scenario that played out, they may very well be able to come up with some legal justification that if he, you know, if he did it and they knew his intent, they have evidence of his intent, they may very well be able to get him on something. But like. But we're hearing that. every president since Reagan has done this. In some form. In some form.
Starting point is 00:15:59 And intent is the difference. What they're saying here is that he intended to do it. Now, is it possible that he was so angry and just was saying to do it? It's possible. It is. But so what? But like, is that a huge deal? These documents, they weren't leaked to foreign entities.
Starting point is 00:16:13 Anything in a Mara Lago closet is certainly more secure than something stored online. Right? Like, if you live near Marilago, go in there today and try. try to steal a diet Coke and see how that goes for you. Go try to just play golf on the course without actually being a member. Let me, no, no, I'm not. I should probably clarify that before the DOJ shows up. I am not clarified.
Starting point is 00:16:37 But I'm saying this as a hypothetical thought exercise. It would be darn difficult to play the eighth hole at Mar-a-Lago of getting away with it. You think stealing stuff out of Donald Trump's closet is going to be easy? Probably not. It's not. It's ridiculous. Yep. The whole thing is completely absurd.
Starting point is 00:16:55 And yes, you might be able to go in there and find some legal thing you can catch him on. But fundamentally, what are we asking as people who are in the United States citizens of the United States? Voters here in the United States. Is this a reason to vote for him or not vote for him? And the answer is, of course, it's not. It's not neither. It should make no impact whatsoever on his ability to govern. And we'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
Starting point is 00:17:19 3,8-7-27-B-B-E-C. Pat and Stufer Glenn. more than one minute. So pain has gotten aggressive with you, has it? Well, if you get up in the morning, it's already kicking you around like a soccer ball. It only gets worse as the day goes on. And, you know, that is something that a lot of people deal with. Millions of people deal with this every day.
Starting point is 00:17:38 And they don't, you know, so many of them have given up. Something like 30 or 40% of people just give up. They say, this is just part of my life. This is how it is now. Well, it doesn't have to be that way. If you're living with pain that's aggressive and has gotten aggressive with you, It's time to get aggressive back. May I recommend that you give Relief Factor a try?
Starting point is 00:17:55 You could get up getting your life back, and that's a really important thing. The three-week quick start is only 1995. It's a trial pack. It's not a drug. It was developed by doctors. Hundreds of thousands of people have ordered Relief Factor, and about 70% of them have gone on to order more. Go to Relieffactor.com or call 800 for Relief to get the 1995, three-week quick start. Again, it's ReliefFactor.com.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Or call 800, the number four, relief. leaf factor feel the difference. 10 seconds. Station ID. So somehow they made this into seven trumped-up charges. And I guess each of the charges carries a penalty up to 20 years in prison. So conceivably, Donald Trump could be in prison for 140 years. And that would make perfect sense in our justice system. Yeah, when child molesters, gosh, I wish I could remember the stat.
Starting point is 00:18:55 The stat is in, if you happen to have a copy handy, I think it's an inconvenient book. Glenn's bestseller from back in the day. And the average prison sentence for a convicted child molester is like 18 months. It's like it's so absurdly low that I had to check the stat myself 10 different times. I don't remember if it's 18 months. It might be two and a half years. It's very, very little. Less than five years for sure.
Starting point is 00:19:25 And we're going to send Donald Trump to president for 140 years before his filing system. It's crazy. It really is. And, you know, while most news articles point out that that's unlikely to happen, that he would get that kind of time, obviously he wouldn't. But still, I mean, just that there's even a possibility is just assinite. Like, if you were to come to me and say, look, letter of the law, he violated this particular thing. He has to pay a fine if you pay a fine. Right. Like, okay, that's fine.
Starting point is 00:19:56 And we're going to move on and stop talking about this. Right. That's the way it should be handled, but it's not going to be. It's not going to be. And at the same time as we're hearing, and you know, this is part of it, this ties into it. At the same time, we're hearing that Joe Biden maybe got a bribe for $5 million. Five million dollars from a foreign actor. Much closer to the thing a person would be concerned about, right?
Starting point is 00:20:26 Yes. Because that could be a real espionage. That's a real problem. Much more close to that definition. Especially if he's making policy decisions based on that. Especially if, you know, he's procuring promises and actions from foreign governments in exchange for it. I mean, that is far more serious to about the thousandth power more concerning than anything they're accusing Donald Trump of. And he's got the document situation himself to deal with.
Starting point is 00:20:57 between those two things I mean it's just and again it ties in because I think this is a distraction from all the Biden stuff I mean
Starting point is 00:21:06 we'll have to play some of what Biden said yesterday about this it's agonizing I mean for him to even one of the one of the
Starting point is 00:21:14 sentences that he uttered had two words in it and it it's maybe the biggest lie I've ever heard I'm honest was the sentence
Starting point is 00:21:27 I'm honest. Yeah, there he gets. You're honest? Are you? No. Are you? No, he is not. He is.
Starting point is 00:21:34 He's the biggest liar. I think he's a bigger liar than Bill Clinton, which is saying something. Yeah, I think so. I mean, you know, I think that there's this, there is this perception of Biden, and this is a problem because the American people at least felt this way in 2020, that, you know, he was a bit of a bumbling fool. Yeah. But he was. But he's a good guy. He's a good guy.
Starting point is 00:21:56 He's Joe. He's Joe from the neighborhood. What was it that Lindsey Graham said about him? Which is now maybe the worst thing I've ever heard from Lindsey Graham. I was saying something. Yeah. And that's that he was this man of integrity and such a good, good man. That's exactly the opposite of what he is.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Yeah. That is that. I don't think that's even up for debate anymore. Nope. But, you know, look, enough people apparently believe that. And that's shocking to me if you've looked at his history. You're not paying attention if you believe that. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:22 But that's the thing. These elections are won and lost by, by people's votes who don't pay attention. That is something we all have to recognize. And it's an unfortunate part of our country right now. The Glenn Beck Program. So Pat is here to tell you about, of course, the wonderful product called Rough Greens. Rough Greens.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Pat, how many dogs do you have now? Just the one, two? Just the one. Okay. Yeah, that's... The little one, right? The little one. Very tiny.
Starting point is 00:22:53 How many pounds of that thing? Probably three and a half. Is it really? I saw it. Yeah, really about that sense. Well, one bag of Rough Greens must last you like 16 years. Yeah, it lasts a while. But man, does she love it?
Starting point is 00:23:03 And as I've mentioned many times, she won't eat her food without Rough Greens on top of it. And so she looks at you like, okay, something's missing here. All right. Sorry. Yeah, yeah. Good nutrition is green. It's not brown. The founder of Rough Greens, naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black, suggested that we remind all of Glenn's listeners about the fact that rough greens is not a dog food.
Starting point is 00:23:28 It's not a medicine. It's a blend of live and 100% natural ingredients. Exactly what your dog needs. For a free jumpstart trial bag, all you have to do is cover the shipping on it. Go to roughgreens.com slash glen. That's RUFFFF Greens. Roughgreens.com slash Glenn or 833, Glenn 33. Head over to blazedtv.com slash Glenn and use the promo code Glenn.
Starting point is 00:23:55 I'm going to save 10 bucks off your subscription to Blaze TV. This is Pat and Stu for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program, AAA 727 B-E-C-K. So your thoughts on the Donald Trump at Diphon. I keep thinking, like, you know, Glenn always goes away when there's this huge story. I know, that's amazing. And then I step back and say, actually, just every day.
Starting point is 00:24:37 There's something crazy. So whenever he takes a vacation, there's a huge story. Something's going to happen. It really does feel like that is our world now. Do you remember the days in talk radio where you would, I don't know, there's nothing really going on? So let's just mess around today. We'll do your favorite.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Disney characters. We'll talk about that kind of stuff. You just can't, you can't do that anymore. There used to be times in this business where you would struggle for topics, you know, where you'd be like, well, I don't know, this is kind of boring and the news today kind of sucks. Like, that is gone. Yeah. Now it's just a matter of what you can fit in. As Glenn often says, it's Sophie's choice. You've got to pick and choose because there's just not time enough for everything. All right, let's get your thoughts. Let's go to Matt in Massachusetts. Hey, Matt, you're on the Glenn Beck program with Pat and Stu. So let me get this straight. You guys knew that the Trump story is a distraction story, distracting you from Joe Biden. Yet you choose to lead with the distracting story, distracting from Joe Biden. Not only did you distract from Joe Biden, you spent 15 minutes on Trump and five on Joe Biden. Well, we're not done. So we have a three-hour show here. You know, we're pacing ourselves, Matt. We should also note that the Biden thing broke before yesterday's show. We've been talking. We've been talking. We've been talking. talking about the Biden thing for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks. The story just broke overnight. So it is, I think, the most relevant choice to begin a show with. But I do appreciate
Starting point is 00:25:59 your program director capabilities here walking us through how to order our topics. Thank you so much. I do. You still have to, despite the fact that it is a distraction, it's the biggest story there is right now. And I will say, too, like, it's important for us to to be on this stuff, to make sure that people understand the truth. Like, you can't just blow these things off. You can't just say, oh, well, an attack is coming. We see it as an invalid attack, therefore we shan't defend it. Right.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Like, you start doing that and you start losing. And that's what Republicans have done for a very long time. So I'm not going to go ahead. And that's why they're losing. They do tend to lose. That's why. They do tend to lose. My gosh.
Starting point is 00:26:43 Let's see. Chris in Ohio. You're on the Glenn Beck program. Hi. I do totally agree with him. You know, if we look at this, okay, we got two guys that are very high profile, okay? I mean, the highest profile right now. And with the same charges, okay, and we realized that neither one could do anything with any information that they would have because there's going to be a paper trail.
Starting point is 00:27:10 I mean, you know what? We know what's going to happen. So if you take and distract one from the other, what are we missing on the other? what are we missing on the other side? I mean, it's a story. It's certainly, I mean, look, it's an understandable point. I will say they don't have the same charges against them, however. One of them has federal charges filed in the last 24 hours, right?
Starting point is 00:27:35 That is an important thing to cover. We've done... And it's the first time in American history. It's like we're not going to even mention it. Right. All right. We've done endless coverage, endless on Joe Biden and the accusation. against him. We told you on the air years ago he was the most corrupt vice president in
Starting point is 00:27:55 American history. Seriously, what was it? 2013 or 14? I would argue thousands of hours of on the story with Joe Biden. The one, the story that broke in the last 24 hours is the part about Trump, which we're telling you, we are comparing. I mean, I think there is a legitimate comparison here. However, those charges have not come against Joe Biden. We want them to. We talked about the Comer situation. We've had Comer on the air. We've had Jordan on the air. We've had Chip Roy on the air.
Starting point is 00:28:24 We've talked about, we've done all this stuff. We've done all the stuff. It's important. It is a distraction, I think. Though it's a distraction you're going to have to deal with boys and girls. Like we can all act as if this isn't something you're going to have to deal with. But unfortunately, this audience by itself will not pick the next president of the United States.
Starting point is 00:28:45 there's going to be a lot of people out there who don't necessarily know about this, people who don't follow this on a day-to-day basis. And if we're not locked and loaded with the information needed to push back against their claims, we will lose. So ignoring things that happen is not an option. We have to deal with it.
Starting point is 00:29:04 We are forced to. And it's important to note that these particular charges come solely after Donald Trump was no longer president. These are charges that are coming, starting and being finalized by his political opponent. This is a massive line that has been crossed in American history today. We're talking about a precedent that will echo for generations has happened in the last 24 hours. So no, we're not going to ignore.
Starting point is 00:29:39 And Donald Trump himself has been discussing the case and the fact that it's a a distraction and he's talking about it anyway. In fact, he's not only talking about it, Pat. He is fundraising off of it. He is focusing, I would argue, it's his central, his central argument for being president again, is that he was victimized by a corrupt system and he can fix it. I would say that's a central argument right now.
Starting point is 00:30:09 Because we already know about the other stuff. There's a lot of candidates in there that will pick, you know, good Supreme Court justices or lower taxes or whatever. his point of differentiation here is that is to say, hey, I was in the middle of this crap. I saw how it worked and I need to be, I'm a victim of it, and I need to be able to step in there and stop it. But you know what? It's been a while since I've had snotty phone calls, so thank you for them. It's been fun. Yeah, I like it. I enjoy it. Let's go to Paul in Connecticut. Hey, Paul, you're on the Glenbeck program.
Starting point is 00:30:37 Hey, too, good morning. Good morning. Listen, now, real quick, do we honestly think that President Trump packed up his own office and his own documents, threw him in the back of the limo and took off. No. I mean, I want to know who's liable for that. And was it a setup? Like they said, oh, these are going to get him in trouble. Throw those documents in there.
Starting point is 00:31:00 No problem. Hide him in the trunk. When he gets down to Florida, he could take him out. And we'll catch him on that. It's speculation, but I wouldn't rule it out, certainly. Not at all. With this group of people. And, you know, look, their argument, what they're,
Starting point is 00:31:15 would say in defense of this is that it's not necessarily that he took the documents. It's that he knew he had them. He knew he was supposed to give them back to us and he didn't anyway. Now, I'm not all that concerned about that. Honestly, like, you know, okay, me, I don't know. You know, I just, I don't think that's that big of a deal. If you're allegation and you have evidence that he then turned around and sold it to China. That's a big deal. That's a big deal. They're not alleging that. They're not even saying that. I mean, there have been some liberal bloggers who have made reference to things like that, but that's all just nonsense. You know, they don't even alleging that. Like, this is just one of those things where it's possible he didn't know. I mean,
Starting point is 00:31:55 he did give, and this is a thing, he gave them 15 boxes of documents. It's not like he tried to hide all of it. He gave them 15 boxes of documents. He may have held onto this because he thought he wanted the memorabilia. He wanted it for his museum. He didn't know about them. He thought that they proved something that he was going to be accused of later, like he thought it proved his innocence. I mean, that's been a theory that people have thrown out there. Some of these documents might have been, you know, situations that he was worried he was going to be attacked with later on, and he wanted to have the document so he could show that he was
Starting point is 00:32:29 right. Right. Who knows what the reason was? This is what we're going to find out over the next, I suppose, months. But, like, the fact that this entire investigation has come against Joe Biden's leading political opponent. You know, they again said publicly in the paper yesterday that they found out about this in the news. They're still saying that. They're acting as if they didn't know any of this was going on and they heard about it in the news just like everyone else. How could anyone believe a
Starting point is 00:33:02 word they say when they say something like that? Obviously, that's not true. Obviously it's not true. Nor should it be true, frankly. See, words that we've got so much. much from Biden yesterday. He was really struggling with whether to call it really good or really bad. He was really good in a bad way yesterday. He proved our point that, you know, there's some decline there. And there's dementia there. And the guy is just not fit to be the president of the United States and the most powerful man on
Starting point is 00:33:38 this planet. He's just not. And yesterday was a really good example of how his mind just doesn't work like you would want a president and his mind to work. He's just not capable of doing things. If you ask him to do something later in the afternoon like they did yesterday, you've got a really good chance. He's not going to be there. He's not going to be all there.
Starting point is 00:34:03 He can't read. He can't speak. I don't know if that's when the medication wears off. I don't know. But he was awful yesterday. And I'm just, I'm scanning for, okay, is this the biggest lie Joe Biden has ever told? I believe this is cut 11. You'd be the judge.
Starting point is 00:34:24 You notice, I have never once, not one single time suggested the Justice Department what they should do or not do. We're else to bring in a charge and not bring a charge. Okay. I'm honest. Just those two words at the end. Biggest lie he's ever told. honest. Right.
Starting point is 00:34:42 So his allegation is, I'm not using the Justice Department in a political manner like Donald Trump did. Right. Which is so, come on. Ridiculous. And we know that Merrick Garland knew about this stuff. Even though he denied, he knew about it. He did know about it. And like, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:35:00 How dumb are we supposed to be here? I lose my, I thought we were supposed to be a country that followed this, you know, that followed the news, that cared, that participated in our republic. Do they really think were this stupid? Like, think of any organization you work in. Would this ever be the case?
Starting point is 00:35:22 The biggest thing you'll ever do. You're charging your political opponent who's the leading candidate and the opposing party. Your leading opponent. And Merrick Garland, the person you appointed to a high-level position, knows about it,
Starting point is 00:35:39 but he doesn't pass that on to you. some way behind the scenes. Now, I would argue, he probably didn't walk in there and say, hey, Joe, by the way, today's the day. That's probably not how they did it, because that would be too traceable. But you're telling me, you don't think that a text was a text, a message, a person walks down the hall, passes a little note to somebody else. You're telling me, Joe Biden walked into that day, not knowing this was going to happen. That's insane. I'm honest. And it's a clear lie. It's an, absolute bold face lie. All right, AAA 727 BECK. More coming up. So ridiculous. All right, if you needed a good real estate agent because, I don't know, you're moving from a blue state to a red state and you are trying to get out from underneath the terrible government you're living under, you need to find a good real estate agent in this new area you're going to. Also, if you're selling a house, a lot of people just go with someone they know, they go with somebody who, I don't know, they saw on an ad. That's not the way to pick.
Starting point is 00:36:40 a real estate agent? A real estate agent, it needs to be screened for the best performance possible, and the way to find that person is real estate agents, I trust.com. This is a company that Glenn started years ago to try to find a good agent after he went through a bad real estate agent experience of his own. And now, thousands and thousands of people go there every day to find the best agent they can find in their area. You don't have to do the back the legwork here. This is something that they're already doing at real estate agents, I trust.com, and it's a free service to you. So go to real estate agents.com.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Real estate agents, I trust.com. Go there. They'll give you the best agent in your area. It's real estate agents. I trust.com. This is the Glenn Back program. When I heard Glenn start talking about American Giant, I had never heard of it, honestly.
Starting point is 00:37:33 I wanted to see for myself if the clothing was really as good as he was saying it was. And it is. It really is. Everything I've worn is so well made. In fact, I'm wearing an American Giant sweatshirt right at this moment. It's an awesome sweatshirt. I love it. is super comfortable, so well made. You can tell the difference in the fabric. My wife, who buys
Starting point is 00:37:49 more expensive clothing than I do, she's used to really high quality material. And she had a pair of leggings from American Giant and just absolutely loves them. I've never seen material like this before. It was like 13 years ago, American Giant started. They rescued a clothing factory in North Carolina that was going to shut down. They wanted to show Americans that we could still manufacture clothing. We could still do it here. We can do much better than the cheap stuff that comes from overseas. Back in the 1960s, 95% of clothing Americans bought was made in America. Now, almost the exact opposite. 97% is made overseas. American Giant is changing that one piece of clothing at a time and you're going to love this stuff. They make the best hoodie you're ever going to
Starting point is 00:38:32 wear and a high quality clothing for both men and women. It's a perfect Father's Day gift made with American cotton, American workers, and American quality. For Father's Day, let your dad know that he's American Giant. It's clothing that will last so long. It gets passed on from one generation to the next. It looks like a Biden 24 shirt. And a lot of people would say, well, I don't want a Biden 24 shirt. right but when you get close you notice that it says anyone but Biden 24 okay and I think I think people will like it because it will fool people into thinking you know they're on your side and they'll walk up and they'll get all
Starting point is 00:40:06 excited and then they'll see it and get very disappointed would that include Marianne Williamson um no no no no I well I don't know I mean if those are the only two choices maybe I would go marry at least you'd be entertaining and she's coherent kind of anyway it's stew doesmerch dot com to get it. Stu does merch.com. The code is Stu10 if you want to save 10%. But Stu does merch.com. You know, one of the
Starting point is 00:40:29 alternatives to him in the Democrat Party, and I just would love to see a sitting president defeated in a Democrat primary. Would that be awesome? It's not going to happen, but it'd be great. But RFK Jr. is a guy who has gotten some notice and a lot of credit from
Starting point is 00:40:44 people on the right. Yeah. And so it might do us some good to go over some of his actual policy positions that you may not quite agree with. Maybe we'll do that a little bit later on. Because I will say, like, I think the right is different than the left in this way, that we are much more willing to talk to and embrace. Embrace is not exactly.
Starting point is 00:41:07 We're open-minded. But if we can find something we agree with you on, we're happy to talk to you about that thing. And that's great. We'll have a conversation about it. We might disagree with you on a bunch of other things, but we're open-minded to talk to you. Where the left, if you talk about Rough Greens. How about that? Rough Greens, Pat, you know, we were talking about this a little bit earlier. You get a dog, you have, I have two dogs now. Unfortunately, we lost President Miles.
Starting point is 00:41:29 I know that's sad. After 18 years. You were, you were probably devastated, right? Oh my gosh, of course. Even though you know it's coming, you know, it's 18 years is a really long time for a dog. But his last years were a lot of enjoyment of rough greens, you know, and like you see this sort of thing with our younger dogs. They love it, of course. they dive into the Rough Greens.
Starting point is 00:41:51 But also, it's one of those things where you see their energy improves, and they seem to be healthier. And that's the type of thing that you can't put a price on, honestly, when it comes to your dogs. You want to do the best thing for them. Yep. You know, dog food is dead food, plain and simple. We've all heard how Rough Greens can brought Uno back from the abyss, it seemed like. And Glenn's talked about that many times.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Check it out, roughgreens.com slash back, Roughgreens.com slash back, or 833, Glenn 33. 833 G-L-E-N-N-33 or Roughgreens.com slash Beck. There's something else here now. Something new. From exclusively on Paramount Plus, it's the series Stephen King calls Scary as Hell. Everything here is impossible, but it's also real. Sci-fi vision calls it the best show streaming right now.
Starting point is 00:42:41 We're running out of time and we still don't know the rules. Don't miss what the movie blog calls something you need to watch. Saving those children is how we all. go home from binge all episodes exclusively on paramount plus what you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment this is the glen back program with pat and stew for glen who's on vacation this week uh more on the donald trump situation it's just a this is just flat out astounding and uh and biden's response to it and Also, just his general demeanor yesterday was just amazing.
Starting point is 00:44:02 And if this were Donald Trump, who couldn't read, couldn't speak, stumbling over everything, making stuff up out of hand, it would be all CNN talked about for the next month. But it's completely ignored with Biden. Anyway, we'll get to that and much more in about one minute. Donna wrote in about her experience with Relief Factor. She said, I couldn't use my right hand because it was so swollen with arthritis. I used to wake up screaming in pain even. But I woke up this morning and my right hand isn't even swollen, let alone painful. I think I'll be able to start sewing again.
Starting point is 00:44:39 I'm amazed at this wonderful product, Rough Greens. Oh no, sorry. Relief Factor. We just did Rough Grings. We were just talking about rough greens. It'd be weird if she put Rough Greens on. That would be really weird. Yeah, that'd be like that horse paste thing that people were using.
Starting point is 00:44:51 Yeah, that's for your dogs. The Rough Greens is for your dogs. Relief Factor is for you. And thank God Donna had it because it's changed her life. Maybe you've tried a lot of different things to combat your pain and nothing's worked. But why not try Relief Factor? The three-week quick start is only 1995. It's a trial pack.
Starting point is 00:45:06 It's not a drug. It was developed by doctors. Hundreds of thousands of people have ordered Relief Factor at about 70% of them go on to order more. Go to Relieffactor.com or call 800 for relief at the 1995. At the 1995 3-week quick start. Again, ReliefFactor.com or call 800 the number four relief. Relief Factor. Feel the difference.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Here's some of what Donald Trump truthed yesterday on truth, social. The corrupt Biden administration has informed my attorneys that I have been indicted, seemingly over the boxes hoax. I didn't know he was calling it that. The boxes. I like that. Even though Joe Biden has 1,750 boxes at the University of Delaware,
Starting point is 00:45:46 additional boxes in Chinatown, D.C. He's renamed D.C. Chinatown because of Biden's involvement with the Chinese. with even more boxes at the University of Pennsylvania and documents strewn all over his garage floor where he parks his Corvette and which is secured by only a garage door that's paper thin and open much of the time. I've been summoned to appear at the federal courthouse in Miami on Tuesday at 3 p.m. I never thought it possible that such a thing could happen to a former president of the United States who received far more votes than any. sitting president in the history of our country and is currently leading by far all candidates, both Democrat and Republican in polls of the 2024 presidential election. And then he finishes off with, I am an innocent man. So, uh, interesting take from Donald Trump yesterday on what's
Starting point is 00:46:47 going on. Trump is obviously very focused on his defense here. We've been talking about the case against him and whether it's something we should really be worried about as a country. Uh, You know, one of the things we should probably, though, think about is we've talked about how the government has been unfair to Donald Trump many, many times. We've covered all the accusations against him over the years, most of which turned out to be kind of nothing, right? A lot of times early on, they would say they had all this evidence and then it would kind of fall apart under the microscope.
Starting point is 00:47:17 And we all kind of had this sense. I think most people on the right have this sense of, look, the Biden administration will do whatever they can to destroy Donald Trump. They'll come after him. They'll, you know, the media is doing the same thing. And they are using the apparatus of the government to target Donald Trump and hurt him and punish him. I think we all believe that's true, right? That's not overstating.
Starting point is 00:47:41 No, I don't think it is. The case, is it? So if we believe that, what do we think happens here? I think a lot of people have not come to this realization that if you combine what you believe about what the government's trying to do, with the fact that they have the power and the fact that they've indicted him multiple times what makes you believe this doesn't end with him in prison
Starting point is 00:48:04 that's a good question I'm not saying it would be right distraction or not that could be the result yeah because if you believe that the if you believe he's really being targeted and they have this power that's where you'd think this would end up
Starting point is 00:48:19 now of course there's one probable way he can avoid it which is winning the election right or someone on the Republican side who's friendly to him winning the election. Many of these candidates have already kind of come out and said, like, look, if I win, I'm going to pardon Donald Trump because this is crazy. But you have to believe that if Joe Biden has the power, they're going to do everything
Starting point is 00:48:39 they can to use it to put Donald Trump behind bars. I mean, they may very well do this here. It's a real thing that could happen. A lot of this stuff feels fake and silly. Like, you know, the author that was suing him for sexual assault and like couldn't remember what year it was. Some of the stuff seems so silly. It was a civil case.
Starting point is 00:49:01 It didn't seem to have any credibility whatsoever. So it's kind of easy to push to the side. And I think that's how I feel with this case in a lot of ways and that it doesn't seem to be at all a serious case. But we don't make these decisions. The Biden DOJ is making them currently. It reminds me of people who say, well, I don't care if they're, watching everything I do. I'm not doing anything wrong. Yeah, you're not the one who decides
Starting point is 00:49:30 what you're doing is wrong or right. You're not the one who gets to choose that. And just like, we're not the ones who decide whether or not Donald Trump goes to jail. So it is a possibility. You know, they want to keep him out of office so badly. Yeah. That I think they'll do anything. You think they'd stop at some, some precedent setting, you know, jail time? I don't think so. And they'll do whatever they can to destroy the sky. I think we all know that inherently. And yet I think when it comes down to what this could look like at the end, we kind of think, oh, well, it's just an election tactic or they won't really go through with it.
Starting point is 00:50:05 They may very well go through with it. They're in the middle of going through with it right now. They're trying to go through with it. So one of the big charges against Donald Trump, and one of the things you're going to hear a lot about in the coming days is this audio tape they have. and this is, I would say, central to the case against Trump. An audio tape where they say a central point of Donald Trump's defense is dismantled. One of the things Trump has said over and over again is I can, I'm the President of the United States. I can declassify these things.
Starting point is 00:50:37 I can declassify them even by thinking about them. This is the way he talked about it. Now there's legal questions around that, I would say. But like he does have pretty much unlimited power. to declassify things as president in the United States. He does not have that power once he leaves office. Of course, he can just declassify them when he's in office. Now, he does not, there's a lot of questions about whether, what process you have to go through.
Starting point is 00:51:03 Some courts have said you got to go through some established process. Some have indicated basically you don't have to do much of anything to declassified documents. That'll be fought out in the courts. But like, there's a serious legal argument on Donald Trump's side to say that basically if he says they're declassified while he's president, they are declassified. And that would clear him from some of the issues that he's dealing with here. They would not be classified documents anymore. Therefore, a lot of this could theoretically go away.
Starting point is 00:51:32 One of the things that the prosecution has here, if you will, is an audio tape of Donald Trump talking to his autobiographer. This has been talked about and rumored for a while. Now multiple news organizations are. reporting that they have heard it or can... They're saying they can confirm the details. It's a little weird the way they're wording it. They're not necessarily saying, hey, I just listen to this tape and here's what it says.
Starting point is 00:51:59 They're saying like, here's the tape. Here's what the tape says according to sources. So it's really important to understand the tape might not even exist. Honestly, the media has been so bad with this stuff. At this point, I don't even know if the tape exists, let alone says what they say it says. But it's important for you to know what their attacks are. so you can know if they should be fought back against and how to fight back against them. So the tape basically is a tape between Donald Trump talking to his autobiographers.
Starting point is 00:52:30 And this totally supports the idea that he held onto these documents because he believed it would exonerate him against people accusing him of things. Right. Mark Millie is a guy we all know, the general that has now become a Trump opponent, has criticized him publicly, but was working with Trump at the time. time. And he apparently is talking about Millie. He's complaining about a meeting with Millie. And he says this. He's a, Millie said that I wanted to attack Iran. Isn't that amazing? I have a big pile of papers. This thing just came up. Look, this was him. So he apparently at this point is showing to his biographers, not autobiographers, biographers, biographers, that he has the paper. He has it in his hand. You can hear papers rustling around. they presented me with this Trump says this is off the record
Starting point is 00:53:21 but they presented me with this this was him talking about Millie this was the Defense Department and him we looked at some this was him this wasn't done by me this was him all sorts of stuff Who is he saying it is then?
Starting point is 00:53:35 Millie, okay he's saying it's Millie he's saying it's him Trump is saying it's him it's Millie so Millie had the idea But he's only said it like 30 times in one paragraph so I was confused sorry I want to make sure I'm directly quoting and this is, you know, you know how Trump speaks. I know. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:53:51 So he's basically saying Millie's the guy who wanted to invade Iran, not me. Okay. That's basically what he's saying here to his biographers. He says all sorts of stuff, pages long, look, wait a minute, let's see here. I just found, isn't that amazing? This totally wins my case, you know, except it's like highly confidential. Secret. This is secret information. Look. look at this. So he is saying he knows it's confidential, he knows its secret, and he's showing it to his biographers to essentially provide a defense for himself against these accusations that he
Starting point is 00:54:26 was the guy that wanted to invade Iran. Now he says, this was done by the military and given to me, and he says in this audio tape reportedly, again, I'm heavily hanging on that. You might think that's paranoid, but at this point, we cannot be too sure. this is what CNN in the New York Times and others are reporting, but he says also as president, I could have declassified, but now I can't.
Starting point is 00:54:55 So he's acknowledging that it's confidential, he's acknowledging that it's secret, and he's acknowledging that he did not declassify it while president. At least that's according to what the media is saying. This is the central piece of the case against Trump here. They're trying to say, okay, he knew this stuff was secret. He knew that he was doing the wrong thing. he knew he hadn't declassified them, and yet he was going this way anyway.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Now, I think it's important to note that Donald Trump says a lot of things that are not legalistic. I don't know if anyone's noticed this about him. You know, if he were to say, this is sort of like saying, okay, well, Donald Trump, he said in a tax filing that his property had depreciated and it was not in great shape. And then he went on TV and said it was the best building ever. we've caught him. Donald Trump brags about stuff. This is not new information.
Starting point is 00:55:51 We all kind of know he does this. And the fact that he was trying to make this document look more important to his biographer is not at all surprising. Right? This is how he talks. Now, that's not going to help him in a courtroom. The fact that we all know that he kind of says stuff is not going to help him in a courtroom.
Starting point is 00:56:07 But in reality, we all know that he does say stuff like this. He makes definitive statements. that make things look larger than they are. Now, this may have been a top secret document. Maybe it was. I don't know. But the fact that he says it was a top secret document does not mean much, honestly.
Starting point is 00:56:25 That's just the sort of stuff that he does. In addition to that, it's not surprising necessarily that he would be saying that he had not declassified it. I don't think that was ever a real legal defense. It was more of a public defense, right? Like, the fact that his defense is, I thought. I thought about it when I was president and that meant there did classify it. It's not really a legal defense. It's just showing how much power he has his president, which is true. He does
Starting point is 00:56:51 have a ton of power as president. But like stepping back from the again legalistic part of this, the fact that he had a document in his possession about an invasion of Iran that exonerated him from a claim being made by others that he was the one that wanted to go to war is something that you can totally understand he would want, right or wrong, and you can totally see how this would not be a central case against his governing style.
Starting point is 00:57:24 The fact that he keeps a document saying that he does not want to invade Iran because people are saying he did is very central to what Donald Trump would do. He would want to prove he was right. He would want to prove his defense. He's been accused of a million things and he wants to be able to show that he was innocent of these things, right?
Starting point is 00:57:46 So, like, you can understand why he'd want to keep a document like that. And you can understand why if he gave that back to the government, as they requested, he would no longer have the evidence needed to provide his defense. You could understand all of this. Yeah. And you could understand this is not him selling it to Iran. It's not him selling it to Russia. It's not him trying to win some contract with somebody and giving this to them.
Starting point is 00:58:10 them as a bribe. Right. He's not betraying the country. Right. He's not committing treason. He's trying to defend himself against people who are falsely accusing him of things. That might not be something that gets him out of trouble legally. But I doubt the American people would really see that as a massive scandal.
Starting point is 00:58:30 The fact that he's holding onto a document he's already seen so that he can show that other people aren't lying about him is not the type of thing you, in terms. indict of sitting president over federally. I mean, it's just, I don't know. And yet, here we are. Here we are. More coming up in one minute. To celebrate the launch of the new American history books for kids from the Tuttle Twins,
Starting point is 00:58:55 they want to send your family to Boston for historical vacation. You'll never forget. We were just talking how important historical documents are. And I'll tell you this, when you, how many times has Glenn been able to shut a reporter up when he pulls out a document and it just shows the ex-from 1785 that says the opposite of what the reporter is saying. It's an incredibly powerful tool. Knowing history is so important. And it'll make your kids different than other kids.
Starting point is 00:59:24 It'll make your kids have a real foundation. When others come to them and they say, hey, you know, actually, let me tell you about critical race theory. When they know the actual facts about this, they're going to be much more equipped, but much better equipped to actually. push back against this and carry on your values into the future. Not just you worry about kids going off to college and falling away. Well, some kids don't.
Starting point is 00:59:50 And the kids that don't have real foundations. The Tuttle Twins, the whole experience exists to provide your kid that foundation. And now they can even send you to Boston to check out the real historical sites themselves. Go to Tuttle Twinsbeck.com. Order the book. You got to get this. My kids love

Order the book. Get the giveaway details. No purchase is necessary to enter the giveaway. Go to Tuttle Twinsbeck.com for more information. It's Tuttle twinsbeck.com. 10 seconds. Station ID. So yesterday was a really fun day for America, of course. All the things with Donald Trump being indicted. We also had Joe Biden hosting British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at the White House.
Starting point is 01:00:47 But before we show you what transpired yesterday, let me go back to last year, maybe like a year ago, when Biden told us what Rishi Sunak's name was and that he'd been named Prime Minister. And whether it's the United Kingdom or just today, we've got news. Rashid. Rasheed. Rasheed. Is now the prime minister. As my brother would say.
Starting point is 01:01:17 go figure. Interesting, isn't it? And the conservative party. That's interesting. Huh? Yeah. Well, he seems to be saying, go figure. They elected a guy who's of Indian descent.
Starting point is 01:01:35 Prime Minister. Plus, he got his name wrong. It's not Rashid Sunuk. It's Rishi Sunak. But he shows his racism on a regular basis and it's completely ignored every time. Every time. It's so weird.
Starting point is 01:01:53 You just said his name and it's unusual, I guess, for a name from somebody who speaks English, right? It's obviously from India or somewhere in that neighborhood. So his brother would say go figure on like, how did that happen? Yeah, this guy. In the conservative party. In other words, like these conservatives actually elected someone who wasn't white. Like, that's kind of what he's saying, I guess. It's hard for me to actually trace his thought patterns mostly.
Starting point is 01:02:22 I think it's exactly what he's saying. He's just so bad, and he's saying it again about a person of Indian descent. In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian Americans moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking. He's not. No, he's actually being racist. He's not joking.
Starting point is 01:02:47 about being racist. He's showing you he is one. Yeah, it's not like a racially based joke that he thought would be funny even though he didn't believe it. He actually does believe it. He does believe it. Right. So then Biden forgets Sunnack's title yesterday and
Starting point is 01:03:03 can't come up with Winston Churchill's name. All in the same general sentence. But we should totally have elected. Well, Mr. President, I just promote you. Mr. Prime Minister, it's great to have it. bathroom you see the first baptister you see point out so anyway right and there's an awful lot of
Starting point is 01:03:23 stories that are told probably a bunch apocry about uh we're prime minister like you take pass of that anyway wandering round at three in the morning yeah Winston Churchill's bothering uh bothering Mrs Roosevelt yeah so you you don't he can't come up with Winston Churchill's name there he's uh it really every day it it It makes your jaw drop. It really does. That this man is somehow president of the United States. It somehow became the most powerful man on Earth.
Starting point is 01:03:58 It is. And you'd think, like, every once in a while, he can speak normally. He sounds like normal. The fact that he can't seem to project his voice at all. It's so shallow. I mean, I can barely even hear him in these clips. It's really incredible. I know.
Starting point is 01:04:15 All right, we got more to come on the Glympec program with Pat and Stu coming up. end back program. When we lose one of our service members or first responders, the tragedy just, you know, doesn't just end on that day, especially for their families. Who's there to help them pick up the pieces? Well, it's tunnel to towers. When veterans who have served our country end up living on the streets, who reaches out with a hand of help?
Starting point is 01:04:48 Well, it's tunnel to towers. This foundation is in the line of duty programs. The Gold Star, fallen first responder, smart home and veteran homelessness programs are are all dedicated to honoring our nation's heroes and their families, and their never-forget programs engage people in 9-11 remembrance across America. They host over 80 runs, walks and climbs per year. They have dozens of golf outings and barbecues. They also work to educate kids of all ages to help our nation never forget what happened on that day. More than 95 cents of every dollar you donate to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation goes to its programs. Check them out for yourself
Starting point is 01:05:23 today. They're a great organization. Never forget the sacrifices of our country's greatest heroes. Donate $11 a month to Tunnel to T-T-T-T-T-O-R. It's T-the-N-N-N-2-T-O-R. T-2-T-R. Don't forget to use the promo code, Glenn, G-L-E-N-N for $10 off your subscription at blazTV.com. It's Pat and Stu for Glenn this week. There's an interesting new Gallup poll out for about the last, I don't know, 10 or 15 years, seems like the split of conservative to liberal in this country has been fairly even. I mean, usually, I remember in years past, conservatives outnumbered liberals by a little bit.
Starting point is 01:06:29 You wouldn't think so because it's the liberals and their policies that we're always being beaten over the head with. But that's just because as conservatives, we like to just live our lives and, you know, not show up with a cardboard sign on a, street corner when everybody else is at work. And conservatives don't do that because they're at work too. Liberals, they got nothing better to do. You know, they're unemployed and they got nothing to do but write something on a sign and go out and hold it up. But according to this latest
Starting point is 01:07:01 values and beliefs survey done by Gallup, 40% of Americans identify as conservative. 26% is liberal. That's a 14% split. That's huge. Yeah. That's huge. Yeah. It's interesting. And that split has existed before.
Starting point is 01:07:21 It's not a completely new phenomenon. That big? Yeah. Has it? I don't know if it's been that big. Maybe a little bit less than that. It's an interesting one though because it shows that it really tells a lot about those words in particular. I think there's a lot of Democrats who consider themselves conservative Democrats, right?
Starting point is 01:07:37 Even though we would like to meet them. I think. I'd love to meet them. You know where I think you, I think you do meet a lot of them is in the African American and Hispanic communities, who are very socially conservative and don't see themselves as crazy liberals. They don't see themselves as woke. But tend to vote Democrat, you know, tend to still vote Democrat for whatever reason.
Starting point is 01:07:59 I would say ill-advised reasons in my mind, but do that. You know, you almost like if you were to say, hey, you're a conservative Democrat, some people you can see that person. We just talked about them. Can you picture who the liberal Republican is who would, again, self-identifies as a liberal Republican? We can all point to many Republicans we think are too liberal. But like people who say, yeah, no, I'm a proud liberal Republican. Not very common. Right. There's a lot of Joe Manchin types out there that will say, I'm a conservative Democrat, even though he's not a conservative Democrat. He's just a Democrat. But he's more conservative than AOC. Right.
Starting point is 01:08:35 Yeah. And he's probably a real Democrat as opposed to. a Marxist like AOC, Joe Biden, or just about anybody else who was in leadership in that party. This is kind of interesting too. So 40% conservative, 26% liberal, 31% consider themselves moderate,
Starting point is 01:08:53 somewhere in the middle. And I think that's what a lot of people like to identify with because it seems nicer. Yeah, non-committal. Yeah. Less extreme. And so you say, yeah, I'm really moderate, I guess. I'm conservative on something. and not so conservative on others.
Starting point is 01:09:12 But it's the first time in a while I've seen a split quite that big. So you would think that would give us a shot, that would give conservatives a shot at winning the presidential election in a year and a half, wouldn't you? I mean, you'd like to believe that. You hope that's the case? Because if it doesn't turn out that way, we're in really, really deep trouble. Yeah, I agree.
Starting point is 01:09:40 And it shows that there's real growth opportunities, I think, for conservatives who can say, hey, look, you know, we're going to bring to you a sensible package that does not alienate all of your views, but connects with you on a lot of the stuff that makes people say that they are conservative. I think people want to run away from the AOC wing. A lot of Democrats really do see that as different. You know, they don't want to be that person. Now, I think, unfortunately, when you vote for the even moderate, what you think is a moderate Democrat, you wind up empowering AOC. Look at the difference in voting between the moderate Democrat and AOC. It's almost impossible to find. When you're talking about people who are in office, those people vote in lockstep on the Democratic side.
Starting point is 01:10:28 You can find a real difference between, you know, Lindsay Graham and some Freedom Caucus member. There's a real massive gap between those two. And we can cite Mansion and Cinema as a couple of, I guess you'd call them moderate Democrats. Technically, cinema's an independent now. But you can talk about them as moderate Democrats. And there are a couple of those people. Not many. They still vote in lockstep 90% of the time, even when they do supposedly exist.
Starting point is 01:10:57 And what's happened lately, I think, is that a lot of conservatives have sort of fallen for, the theory that maybe RFK Jr. is one of those sort of conservative Democrats, that he's more moderate, that he's in the middle. I mean, he's said some really great things if you weren't a big fan of mandated vaccines or getting a shot at all. He's said some great things about the border, although it's a new one for him. And he's really good on cryptocurrency. He has been really good at that, which is, you know, I don't know, odd in some ways, I guess. It is. I wouldn't normally place that on his platform.
Starting point is 01:11:37 But I give him credit on that. He's been good on that. So if you, but when you dig into his policy positions, just a little bit further. All right. On those three issues, yeah, we, you know, and you mentioned this last hour, conservatives love it when they can connect with a liberal on anything. And we want to talk to him and we want to praise them. You know, it's a lot like Bill Moore.
Starting point is 01:11:58 Every once in a while, he shows some real common sense. And you're like, wow, look at this. this? Well, then you dig into, all right, where really is RFK Jr. on policy positions? So, I looked it up yesterday. And he was asked a whole series of questions to which he mostly responded, yes or no. How about raising taxes on the rich? Yes, he's in favor of that. Do you support increasing taxes for the rich in order to reduce interest rates for student loans? Yes. Do you favor teaching critical race theory in our public schools? Yes.
Starting point is 01:12:37 Should government pay for college? Yes. Should there be more climate regulations in the United States? Yes. Should the federal government continue to fund Planned Parenthood? Yes. Again, these are JFK policy positions. JFK Jr.
Starting point is 01:12:56 I'm sorry, RFK. JFK doesn't have too many. good candidate at all right now. Not right now. Are you in favor of drilling in Anwar? RFK Jr.? No. Are you in favor of building a wall on the southern border? No.
Starting point is 01:13:13 Should the border one is what I want to take a quick step on? He lately, over the past couple of weeks, has suddenly become some border hawk. Like, I don't... It does not seem to be real to me. And now there is some consistency with old school Democrats on that. And that's part
Starting point is 01:13:29 of what I think the appeal is among Democratic voters to RFK Jr. Because he is consistent on like, for example, the anti-war aspect of the Democratic Party that has been in existence forever, right? He's very anti-war. And the rest of the party is all of a sudden really hawkish. And really hawkish all of a sudden out of nowhere. So like he's connecting with some of those voters.
Starting point is 01:13:50 The vaccine thing is another one. Like that one has been around obviously for a long time and, you know, certainly lots of crossover between conservatives who oppose mandates and other aspects of the vaccine stuff. there's consistency and and and but remember that that has always been largely a movement on the left. I mean it was Jenny McCarthy. It was, you know, RFK Jr. has been for a long time the voice of, of this movement. And he's been obviously on the left, you know, Jim Carrey when he was married to, to, uh, to, or Jenny McCarthy.
Starting point is 01:14:22 Another, uh, big moment there. I, I mentioned this article a while ago because it was hilarious. But it was a, um, an article is 2015. an article from the New York Post, I think it was, that here's the top 10, top 10 out anti-vax, faces of the anti-vax movement or something in celebrity culture. And so they listed them and almost every single one of them
Starting point is 01:14:48 was a left-wing figure with one exception. Can you guess who it was? One exception. One guy on the right who was listed as one of these top 10 faces of the anti-vax movement? I probably should know. I don't. You won't. You won't.
Starting point is 01:15:07 Donald Trump. Because Donald Trump. I was going to say Donald Trump and yet he's responsible for warp speed. Right. Now he's the one guy, the one thing conservatives seem to have a problem with Donald Trump on is Operation Warp Speed. Back then, he was the face of the anti-vax movement on the right because he had made some, you know, comments about all. or whatever. And then you have all the other ones. We're all left-wingers.
Starting point is 01:15:34 And now all those people are probably out there mandating that you go get a shot. Like, none of this makes any sense. No, it doesn't. No, it doesn't. Anyway, so go, you're back to RFK. Neither, by the way, does warp speed. That's not possible. You can't hit warp speed. Oh, really? According to the theory of relativity from Newton,
Starting point is 01:15:50 the closer you get to the speed of light, the bigger your mass becomes so that by the time you would get there, you would slow down so much that you'd almost be going zero. The whole thing's a lot. It's a lie. It's all a lie. Don't buy into it. Don't buy into warp speed. It's not real. Should the government, back to RFK Jr., should the government support a separation of church and state? By removing references to God on money, federal buildings, national monuments, yes, is his policy position.
Starting point is 01:16:21 Guys, not a conservative. Not at all. No. How about universal basic income? You favor that? Yes. Yes, he is. Oh, my God. Do you support common? Corps? Yes. Yes, he does. Oh, my God. Oh, how about how about hydraulic fracking, which really saved this country when everybody else was going into recessions? No, no, there shouldn't be any. Would you increase or decrease military spending? Decrease, of course. Do you support your big climate change guy? How about renewable, endless energy from nuclear energy? No. Hmm. Should the current estate tax be decreased?
Starting point is 01:17:03 No. No, it should not. Which is the most, I think, immoral tax on the face of this planet. That somehow the government is due 50% of everything that you accrued during your lifetime, despite the fact that you paid taxes on it your entire lifetime already. Why should you have to pay again? Usually multiple times. Yeah, many times. You probably have invested it.
Starting point is 01:17:25 It's probably paid again. and then you get taxed again because you die. Right. It's crazy. That is a pretty rough one. Absolute insanity. So just a few positions. I mean,
Starting point is 01:17:36 some of those I didn't even know. Because we all knew the climate thing was a big part of the RFK situation. I mean, he has gone to the point. He really called people a traitor. Yeah. He called, not just people.
Starting point is 01:17:49 Let me give you a couple of the people. Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. He called him traitors and said they needed to be treated like traitors. Pat, in the Constitution, what happens to traitors? They're put to death. They're put to death. He actually did say, too, he wishes there was a law
Starting point is 01:18:05 by which you could punish these people. Yeah. And then said, Oh my gosh. Talked about being a traitor. And then went on to say, when he was called out and say, hey, are you really calling for all these people's deaths? He said, no, he'd rather just put them in prison
Starting point is 01:18:18 for the rest of their lives. Okay, well, that's way better. People who disagree with him on climate change. This is an authoritarian. He's not the guy. To levels that no other candidate hits, arguably. Would I like to see him be Joe Biden in a primary? Yes.
Starting point is 01:18:36 Do I love the chaos he's bringing to that primary? Sure. I do. But it's also important to separate that this guy would, first of all, would be a horrible president of the United States. Horrible. No matter what you agree with him on, you may have found three or four things you agree with him on. He would be a horrible president of the United States, a person willing to use his power to imprison his political opponents who disagree with him on climate change.
Starting point is 01:19:00 This is not a guy we should be like, oh, wow, let's run to him. He's a disaster. As we talked about on my show a few times, that's an amazing, that's an amazing stance, too, for a guy who wants you to go with him on the hazard of vaccines, something that virtually, you know, most of the country, most of the mainstream accepts. Okay, yes, we should get vaccinated against things and have our kids vaccinated. Even if you don't like this, you know, a particular vaccine or two. You know, the general concept of it is not particularly controversial outside of that movement.
Starting point is 01:19:29 Yes. So, but does he grant the same sort of benefit of the, benefit of the doubt to people who deny that climate change is catastrophic? No. No. No. He's not arguing. He is not arguing for the vaccine, for the vaccine stuff that you might agree with him on, on personal liberty grounds. Though he makes that argument a lot, he'll talk about personal liberty a lot.
Starting point is 01:19:52 That is not the actual reason he's making that argument. You can tell because he wants to steal other people who disagree with him all of their liberty completely. He wants to put them behind bars for the rest of their lives. He wants to threaten them with something that is punishable by death. Amazing. By the way, you're listening to the Glenn Beck program. And more coming up. All right. Patriot Mobile.
Starting point is 01:20:19 What a great company. Patriot Mobile. And if I could just throw this in right before Patriot Mobile. Isn't Glenn? going to interview him sometimes soon after he gets back. And I'm sure that this conversation will come up. Yeah, that's going to be fun. You know, and it should.
Starting point is 01:20:30 That is going to be fun. Yeah. I mean, look, they'll find plenty of ground to agree with, I'm sure. But hopefully he calls him out on all this stuff. I know he will. Anyway, it seems like not that long ago when the third rail for conversation in business was the same as the dinner table, religion and politics. You listen to talk radio to talk about politics and religion.
Starting point is 01:20:46 You know, you don't want to talk about that when you're selling a product. Well, Normie capitalism is dead. And it's just gone. that's been murdered by the left. So what do you do? We have to come up with a parallel economy and Patriot Mobile is a great part of that parallel economy. They are America's only Christian conservative wireless provider

Uh, AAA 727 B.E.C. Something that has never happened before, a women softball team won. I mean, they play a lot of games in softball.
Starting point is 01:22:20 It's like baseball. You play 60, 70 games depending on what tournaments you go to and if you make it as far as they did. They were 61 and 1 on the season. Wow. When their third straight softball championship. That's incredible. Yeah, amazing. I mean, I would like to talk more about that, but I don't care because you just gave me a bunch of kexy cookies.
Starting point is 01:22:40 Yes. And now I'm fascinated by them. instead of you. The Kexie cookies are also delicious. We've got the Father's Day box, which includes this. My new favorite cookie, I've tried just a little bit of it. But it is a lemonade raspberry cookie. Oh, so good.

Starting point is 01:23:09 Pat and stew for Glenn. More is on the way. Hang in there. The Glenn Back program. You know, we've seen this with the very rare pro-life Democrat who gets just tossed from, well, it's almost non-existent now because they get tossed from the party. They're almost extinct. Yeah. And we've talked to a lot of people. I can't think of a, I can't think of a pro-life Democrat as a politician.
Starting point is 01:23:36 Yeah, I can't think of one off the top of my head. Is there one? I, man, I don't think so. Not that I. I mean, we saw this in the last in 2000. was it, 2020, they just threw them out of the party. They said you can't be in the party
Starting point is 01:23:50 if you're pro-life. They don't even want them. So one piece of disagreement with the Democratic line gets you tossed from the Democratic Party. Republicans, like, if there's a Democrat that agrees with us on like one little thing, we're like, please come talk to us. We will adore them. Yes, to the end of time.
Starting point is 01:24:08 That's true. It's partially because everyone vilifies people on the right. But I think people on the right, too, are so used to getting criticized, to getting pushback from the media mainstream sources, that when we're much more willing to talk to people we disagree with. I mean, like, all right, like, okay, I don't think you're right on X, Y, and Z, but let's talk about, you know, A, and whatever that other topic is, let's talk about that
Starting point is 01:24:34 and see if we can find some common ground on that. A lot of times we can, and I think that's the situation with the R of K, because I think people are forgetting all the other crazy things he believes. But we'll share some of those crazy things. things he believes. Coming up, also, much more from Joe Biden yesterday is an astounding day. Coming up on the Glenn Beck program with Pat and Stu. If you're on the East Coast yesterday, they were telling you not to even go outside in places like New York City and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I mean, the pollutant index was higher than a lot of people had ever seen it.
Starting point is 01:28:54 Janestine on Fox News said Harrisburg had the worst air quality ever in American history. Yeah. And I know. It's not good. I didn't see the Harrisburg numbers, but the record previously was, I think, I want to say it was Portland. or something from wildfire situation. And New York's particulate matter level, like, quadrupled it? Double or quadrupled that level?
Starting point is 01:29:18 Really is incredible. And you've seen the footage, of course, you can't see anything. It's half of these places. What I found was interesting. There was this crazy woman who's out there in the middle of, like, the haze. The whole city of New York looks orange, and she's standing there in Times Square, just yelling like, we need to stop climate change. We can't be breathing all of these.
Starting point is 01:29:41 These fumes, you know, we need. She said, sent a change. We need to be livable future people. Livable future people. That was, I believe her quote. We need to be livable future people. Okay. We played this clip on the show last night,
Starting point is 01:29:56 Studez America. By the way, 8 p.m. Eastern on blaishtiv.com slash glen or on YouTube.com slash studis America or on podcast, check it out. And we played this clip of this crazy, crazy person. person just screaming and you're just thinking like the real risk here is you being out screaming now with no protect like this is the time that you probably want to be inside you can scream
Starting point is 01:30:20 about climate change later if you really want to oh we have the clip here let's listen to normal livable future people now I love that phrase and I want to keep using it because it's true Pat we must live like normal livable future people I have well I've been saying that for years. People ignored it because I'm not a female screaming in Times Square. In a bikini. Yeah. You know, I got fascinating. People do tend to listen to women in bikinis more than you, I will say. You know, the problem is they have the left, has done this to people like her, you know, to our youth who think that we've only got eight years left because four years ago, the, the catastrophic prediction was extinction level catastrophe. within 12 years. Well, now we're down to about eight. And so they've done this their whole lives
Starting point is 01:31:28 to these kids in school. And they scared the crap out of them. Their fair mongering worked. And so now this is what you have. This is the result of that. This is how it works. And it scares the hell out of people. You know, it's easy to sit here and mock them for calling themselves normal, livable future people, which you should do. But also, the reality has to hit us at some point that these are people who are now maybe 20 years old, but were 10 years ago 10 years old. And they were getting hit in the face with this every single day at school, by their dumb parents probably,
Starting point is 01:32:03 certainly by the media, telling them that catastrophe was around the corner at any moment and everyone is out to kill them. Well, yeah, that's what you turn into when you feel like your life has been threatened for 10 years from the time that you're 10 years old to the time that you're 20. Yes, you're going to be an insane person on the street screaming about normal livable future people.
Starting point is 01:32:21 Yes. Yes. That is the result of all of that. So we need to stop that immediately. Let me at least attempt to give some context on these fires because we got this from everybody yesterday. You know, Justin Trudeau year after year with climate change. We're seeing more and more intense wildfires and they're going to start happening in places where they don't normally. Of course, you know, if anyone's to blame here, it's probably Justin Trudeau because he's done such a terrible job.
Starting point is 01:32:47 in a myriad of ways. But I will say, of course he's going to blame climate change. ABC News, how Canada's wildfires and air quality warnings are connected to climate change. Washington Post, smoke brings a warning. There's no escaping. Climate change's threat to Earth. Come on. Let's see.
Starting point is 01:33:07 The Guardian. Canada's wildfires are part of our new climate reality. Experts and officials say. So experts are saying it. Which experts? just experts of which officials, just officials, experts and officials. Then you've got Alberta is on fire, but climate change is an election taboo, which is fascinating because all I hear are Democrats talking about climate change all the time.
Starting point is 01:33:31 How is it taboo? Taboo. They talk about it all the time. So you look at the pictures and they're pretty dramatic, right? You see that. And it is understandable that people would ask questions when, you know, the whole sky is orange all the sudden. But this happened back with the Australia situation back
Starting point is 01:33:49 in 2019, 2020. We mentioned this a little bit yesterday. The historical burn levels are down dramatically since, really, since the 1960s when it comes to burn. And you'd think, okay, well, this is the time that global warming was supposed to be kicking in.
Starting point is 01:34:07 We were told that it was unprecedented in 2019, 2019, the amount of burn that went on in Australia. but no, actually it was one of their lowest on record, below average. And one of the arguments they make is, well, it's going to get worse later on. And there are some models that show that we'll get a little bit worse later on. However, when you look at that in comparison, you know, the historical burn levels used to be about 12% of Australia would burn on a daily basis, which is incredible to think about. I mean, these things happen all the time.
Starting point is 01:34:42 These fires happen all the time and they burn out of control all the way. the time. Usually they're affecting like bears in the woods. When they affect people, people tend to notice. But the increase in the climate model is like 1%. We've dropped by about two-thirds since the old days. And this is in Australia. The model shows increasing by about one point. Now, are they going to be right? I'm going to tell you right now, I don't think they're going to be right. I think they're going to, they've overstated the case here. But even if they are right, it's still much, much better than it was. And that's because of capitalism.
Starting point is 01:35:19 It's because of technology. It's because we've developed so many ways to push back against these fires. Now, you may say, as some would, that maybe you're just talking about Australia, because we know how many more fires there are here all across the world. The globe is a blaze, Pat. However, when you look at the, this is not from me, this is from scientific studies, which goes back to global historical reconstruction of fire areas, areas that have dealt with wildfires and also satellite measurements that we have today.
Starting point is 01:35:54 And what we've seen is a dramatic decrease in the past century when it comes to wildfires. Global burned area from 1901 to 2020 is down by 70%. I'm eyeballing it here, but about 70%. another paper in nature talks about the historical simulation into the modern measurement techniques shows a drop in every measure as far as area burned across the world oh in every measure in every measure is all though I mean that you can't okay you can't get any are is that the best stat you have just down into all measures just all of them and this is you know this is the story over and over again And it's tough to, you know, to talk about, you know, random studies and charts and stuff,
Starting point is 01:36:44 is particularly on radio. But let me give you this. This is from the, and I know this is something that you subscribe to. And you read this article, global trends and wildfire and its impacts perceptions versus realities in a changing world. I know that was something you've. A lot of times I wait for the swimsuit issue. Yeah. I didn't this year because it was just so compelling.
Starting point is 01:37:02 It was so compelling. Okay. Well, I'm going to bore you with this quote. All right. But many people may not subscribe. So let me give this to you. Many consider wildfire as an accelerating problem with widely held perceptions both in the media and scientific papers
Starting point is 01:37:17 of increasing fire occurrence, severity, and resulting losses. However, important exceptions aside, the quantitative evidence available does not support these perceived overall trends. Instead, global area burned appears to have overall declined over past decades and there is increasing evidence that there is less fire in the global landscape today than centuries ago. Perhaps rather than a wildfire problem that has worsened globally in recent decades, the negative and sometimes tragic consequences of fire themselves may be gaining wider public attention and therefore recognition.
Starting point is 01:37:58 The fact that nowadays, latest news reports about disasters from around the world are readily available to large parts of the population may be a contributing factor. What is not spreading equally is the recognition that fire is a fundamental natural ecological event in many of our ecosystems and only a quote problem,
Starting point is 01:38:20 end quote, where we choose to inhabit these fire prone regions or we humans introduce it to non-fire adapted ecosystems. The wildfire problem is essentially more a social than a natural one. That is not a
Starting point is 01:38:37 It's not a borderline comment. That is really, really clear. Our perceptions of these fires are obviously with all the coverage, we see them more, we experience them more. Sometimes they get closer to our buildings, likely because we build more buildings. We expand.
Starting point is 01:38:57 We go into these areas that used to burn regularly. We didn't notice them. Now we're closer to them than we do. But the other huge issue is that we've, got so much more access to the information that we hear about it more. We see them more. Because of Twitter, because of Facebook, because of 24-hour cable news coverage on, you know, a million different networks.
Starting point is 01:39:16 We just hear about it all the time. You hear about it constantly. And, you know, the central part of this is fires are down. They're down. Down. Down. They're happening less frequently. They're passing, they're affecting fewer, fewer Americans and global citizens.
Starting point is 01:39:35 One of the things that you see is that even though they are, of course, because we're expanding our footprint as to where we live, they're closer and closer to areas that we inhabit at times, but we're putting them out faster. We're adapting to this. We're, this is what happens over long periods of time. But the circle of grift is there for the Democrats. And they keep doing it over and over again. They say, you know, you got to vote Democrat. Why? Well, climate change.
Starting point is 01:39:59 It's out of control. It's a catastrophe. Well, okay, we voted you in. Has it stopped? Well, no, it's even worse than we thought. Well, what do we do about that? We got to do something. What do we do? We got to vote Democrat.
Starting point is 01:40:11 Why? Climate change. Has it stopped? No, it's even worse than we thought. Now what? Do something. What do we do? Vote Democrat. Why? Climate change. Has it stopped? No, it's even worse than we thought. And on and on and on and on. How does anybody fall for this crap? It's the same circular argument they use with poverty. With ethnicity, race, or percentages of poor people,
Starting point is 01:40:34 all of it comes back to that same circular argument. Same thing. Amazing. Because no matter how many times you vote them in, they will say the problem has not stopped and it's worse than we thought. And that's why you really need us. Send us your money.
Starting point is 01:40:49 Vote for us. I mean, this is the sad thing is it works. It works. It works for them. Especially works in big cities. Yep. Where over and over again, these cities that are just disasters
Starting point is 01:40:59 that have been voting in the same. same people for 70 years. A hundred years in some cases. A century without a Republican mayor. And they're like, what's going on? There's a lot of problems here. What do we do? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:41:16 I guess we should vote Democrat again. We wouldn't accept this in any other walk of life. If this was a sports team we were talking about, hey, why are they one and 23 every year? I don't know. The problem's really bad. So we, you know, we better. Well, it could be because they're punting on a second down every drive.
Starting point is 01:41:35 Well, what do we do? Punt earlier. Punt on first down. Would that work for the coach of that team? I don't think so. He'd be fired. I think so. Which is what we need to do for our leader.
Starting point is 01:41:45 All right. More coming up in one minute. All right. Let's talk about the Tuttle Twins. They've got a new American history book for kids that's out. And you're going to love it. The Tuddle Twins want to send your family to Boston for a historical vacation. You'll never forget.
Starting point is 01:41:58 The Tuddle Twins have a mission to help families learn from history. They just don't, they're never going to do it. You know that. But Tuttle Twins American History Books do. And here's the thing, your kids are actually going to like these books. It's unlike many of the history books out there. Your kids will actually like the Tuttle Twins books. They'll actually want to read them. And they'll learn things about our history that, man, are incredibly important. Plus, you might go to Boston to check out all

Starting point is 01:43:01 Pat and Stufer Glenn today. You know, we heard in the beginning, you know, we've got these Biden situations that are mostly being ignored by the mainstream media. And meanwhile, they've indicted Donald Trump on seven charges of the Espionage Act. And some of the things that Biden is being accused of right now, and they supposedly have evidence of, they finally got this document that the FBI said didn't exist at first. Yeah, there's no document about, you know,
Starting point is 01:43:34 that form that they're talking about trying to get about the whistleblower informing on, on Biden receiving a $5 million bribe by a foreign agent for maybe policy changes or policy decisions. So first of all, they don't have any. There is no document like that.
Starting point is 01:43:53 It doesn't exist. And Christopher Ray continues to spew that life for weeks, if not months. And then finally, okay, yes, it does exist and we'll let you look at it. But it certainly isn't real. Are we supposed to
Starting point is 01:44:09 leave that now the document was provided by somebody who supposedly is pretty credible in as far as being an informant and now they paid them right yeah it's a $200,000 payment
Starting point is 01:44:25 to this informant now you don't just they don't willy-nilly $200,000 dollars a lot yes so they must have bought into it and it must be accurate so after weeks of refusing to even admit
Starting point is 01:44:39 it existed, this FD 1023 record, the FBI finally caved in and is now allowing all members of the Oversight and Accountability Committee to review the record. And we'll find out, hopefully, soon what the details on some of this are. But it's been amazing. And thank goodness for Representative Comer to have been, you know, pushing this all this time. He and, Marjorie Taylor Green and other people who are in the Republican Party and are going forward despite the fact that everybody's calling them conspiracy theorists. And, you know, they're just trying to persecute this president because it's party bias on and on and on. And yet they keep going forward. I've been pretty impressed with Marjorie Taylor Green.
Starting point is 01:45:33 I, you know, wasn't a huge fan at the beginning. But she's done some really good things and has really stuck to this. and she talked about some of the evidence that they have against Biden and the Biden family. One of the things that's being said now is that they've received so much money in there are so many separate bank accounts. It would take them 10 years to track all of it down. That's pretty astounding if that's accurate. Because Biden asked, where's the money? Where's the money?
Starting point is 01:46:05 Yes. Where's money? Well, that's what we're trying to figure out right now. Yeah. But you're asking us where you put the money? Apparently you put it in so many places that it's going to take them a while. And that's his defense though. Like,
Starting point is 01:46:17 I don't actually have this money, right? Yeah. Now, of course, he's very, very wealthy. It would be hard to really decipher. You wouldn't necessarily notice it like a person coming from the streets and all of a sudden he's living in a mansion. He already has a lot of money. The fact that he's added to that is not going to be incredibly shocking. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:46:32 He's three homes, I think. He's got the one in, you know, obviously the main house in Delaware. where they've got one on the beach I think Rehoboth so he's got that one and then I think there's a third but he's got some nice places to live in addition to the White House
Starting point is 01:46:49 which is you know it's it's tough to get by on that crappy place it's only 53,000 square feet I don't even know how you I don't know how you do it that's that well maybe you can cool the harshness of all that lack of space with you know
Starting point is 01:47:06 selling your son selling $750,000 our paintings. You know what I mean? Yeah. That'll help. Right. That'll help.
Starting point is 01:47:11 A little bit. Yeah. I mean a little bit. It's not going to take care of the problem entirely. Yeah, of course not. It does help just a bit. Where's the money? Where's the money?
Starting point is 01:47:28 The Glenn back program. You've heard Glenn say plenty of times that dog food is dead food. Unfortunately, that's true. That's because nutrition isn't brown. Good nutrition is green. The founder of Rough Greens, uh, natureopathic doctor, Dennis Black suggested that I remind all of you, as Glenn's listeners, that Rough Greens is not a dog food and not a medicine.
Starting point is 01:47:53 It's a blend of live and 100% natural nutrients, which is exactly what your dog needs. It'll get rid of their bad breath. It'll stop their itching and scratching it improves energy, helps with their shine, so many different things. And Dr. Black is so convinced, I mean really convinced that this is going to help your dog too and that your dog will like this food, that he's offering you a free jump start trial bag so your dog can try it out first. Now, I don't know of any dogs.
Starting point is 01:48:23 Well, I know of one dog. It was Keith's dog. Apparently turned up its nose. That is. But the only one, my dog won't eat the food without it on there. Stu's dog loves it.
Starting point is 01:48:34 Glenn's dog loves it. Get a free jumpstart trial bag to see if yours will love it as well. All you have to do is pick up the shipping on it. Roughgreens.com slash Glenn. And it's blaze. com slash glenn to subscribe to blaze tv don't miss out you can save 10 bucks with the promo code glenn pat and stoop for glenn today triple eight seven 2727 b ecc apparently there's this kid
Starting point is 01:49:17 10 year old kid that people are calling baby grunk yes he's sweeping the internet he's uh making waves on tic talk and he's kind of gone viral i just i had just heard about him uh from used to moments ago and I looked them up online and it looks like the kid already has multiple tats all over his body at 10. I don't know if they're real tats or if they're, you know, oh, okay. Temporaries? Maybe temporary? I don't know. But it's a fascinating thing for multiple reasons.
Starting point is 01:49:51 10 years old, I have an 11-year-old son who's playing, you know, he's a good baseball player. He's got a tournament coming up next week. I'm going to be on vacation going to that. And it's fun. I like, I love watching my kid play sports, both of them. Yeah. I mean, there's nothing better in life. that. It's fun. There's nothing better.
Starting point is 01:50:06 You know, the thing that you love about sports is like, oh, you watch your favorite player hit a home run. Well, like, you know, Zach and Ainsley are my two kids, they're my favorite players by a really big margin. Like, they're my favorite players of all time. And I love going to watch them play because, you know, it's just the greatest. I love sports anyway. And this just makes it even better. And so, of course, you cheer your kids on. You do all this. So baby Gronk is crossing an interesting line. Some are saying, because basically, they're turning them into an internet personality. Right. Like they are, he's getting pictures with all these famous people, influencers, celebrities and such.
Starting point is 01:50:42 He's visiting colleges. He's 10 years old. He's visiting colleges. I don't think that's even legal. According to the NCAA right now. An official visit would be illegal. I mean, going and getting your picture taken with a celebrity there. Right.
Starting point is 01:50:54 Like he just went to LSU and got his picture taken with Olivia Dunn, who's a big deal right now. Yeah. She's a gymnast, I think, yeah. At LSU. And she's somewhat. attractive. Some have noticed that. Somebody has said, I heard that she was somewhat attractive.
Starting point is 01:51:11 She was in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, this most recent. Oh, she was even in Sports Illustrated. Yeah, she's that big of a deal. She's one of the biggest, what is it, NIL? Pat, you know this better than I do. You follow college stuff more than I do. NIL is like where the college athletes can now get paid and she's getting paid. For their name, image, and likeness.
Starting point is 01:51:26 Right, NIL. And so they, she has maybe had more money than anybody. And of course she's a gymnast, not a normal sport where you'd be getting these huge payouts. But she's getting them because she has a massive social media following. And she's somewhat attractive. Some, I guess, some of, I guess. Some have said. I mean, you can't even say sports illustrated swimsuit issue does not guarantee attractiveness at this point.
Starting point is 01:51:49 We got to be clear about that. Sure does not. Sometimes doesn't necessarily indicate that it's a woman. Right. Right. We've noticed a couple times here. Some of them have a package. Some of them.
Starting point is 01:51:59 Where a package usually isn't. Isn't. With a sports illustrated swimsuit model. So no guarantees here. But yes, she's a, yes, she's a big, big time internet influencer type that's posting. She does not have a package. I doubt she does. Yes.
Starting point is 01:52:14 I'm going to be, I'm going to doubt that. So, although if she, if she does, I've, I got to say I've been fooled. You know, she does not look like she does. So anyway, the situation here is, what's fascinating is building your 10-year-old into an internet, internet celebrity. Good idea or bad idea. How appropriate is it? You know, is her, what do they call the moms who push their daughters? Like stage moms? Stage moms. Yeah. Yeah. Stage moms. Is he, is he a field dad? Yeah, it's kind of like a new version of that, I guess, right? Yeah. Except, obviously, the payoff here is real. I mean, going to these schools, apparently is a very good
Starting point is 01:52:57 athlete. He's from the Dallas area, too. Oh, this kid. Oh. Um, where, which is where we happen to be broadcasting from. But his dad is, you know, saying he was a music producer, he was an athlete, he knows all these athletes, he works out with him, and he's got all these connections. And he's going to promote his son in this way to make him into a celebrity. His argument is basically, you know, look, I think he's a really good athlete. He may make it, but he may not. And I recognize that. What we're trying to do is basically build him something if it doesn't work.
Starting point is 01:53:29 is this like the insurance policy. If football doesn't work out for him, he's still a celebrity, he's got something to fall back on a big social media account that can turn into a lot of money. They're saying he's making low six figures right now.
Starting point is 01:53:43 Oh wow. As a 10 year old on this. His dad says he's putting every dime of it away. You know, again, like you get these, you know, you don't know, of course, but that's what he's saying. He says, you know, a lot of people look at it and like, oh, this man is crazy
Starting point is 01:53:55 or he doesn't have real expectations for his son. I do. I say he may not make it. So you may as well have $500,000 or a million dollars to start your life out. He may get a scholarship or free school by playing sports, but sports isn't everything. It goes away. Sometimes it isn't God's plan for you. I tore my ACL.
Starting point is 01:54:11 I didn't make it. All I had was a sad story. And so he's like, hey, why not exploit this? Make it into a big thing. So they're posting constantly. They've made him into this figure. He's got all these sponsorships. He's got over 300,000 followers.
Starting point is 01:54:24 This is 700,000 now. 700,000. Yeah. 700,000 followers are. already. Jeez, that's not bad. Not bad at all. Not bad.
Starting point is 01:54:34 It's a lot. Now, I don't know if anyone has ever heard of this particular phenomenon, but there's a phenomenon called the Child Star phenomenon. Mm-hmm. And we've noted over the years that occasionally kids that get incredibly famous wind up being really terrible adults. I don't know, and I hope, of course, that this is not the case with this particular young guy.
Starting point is 01:54:58 He seems like he's a really good kid, actually. Really disciplined, you know, seems really respectful and everything. So this may be, it may not be one of those stories. I hope it's not. But it is risky. And I don't know. Like, I think we've come to that place now where this is so common that everyone wants this fame so much that this isn't really all that controversial. To make your kid into an internet sports celebrity at 10.
Starting point is 01:55:28 Because I don't care how good he is at football. He would not be an internet celebrity at 10 years old, if not for his father posting this stuff on Instagram all the time. As his dad would admit, I mean, his dad seems really excited about what he's been able to accomplish for his kid. It's just a, I don't know,
Starting point is 01:55:45 it's a road that I would not want to put my kids on. I don't care how good my kid was at baseball. I would not be wanting, you know, I posted one picture recently of him. He hit his first home run at practice recently. Zach in batting practice. He's the first one on his team to hit a home run.
Starting point is 01:56:01 I'm very excited about it. I mean, he was thrilled. And I was so thrilled. Oh, posted it on social media. Everyone gets to see it. But like, I'm not giving you 900 updates of his day-to-day life. Like, he's got to be able to live as a kid. Whether he becomes the greatest baseball player of all time,
Starting point is 01:56:15 or he's just, you know, a normal kid. It's got nothing to do with that. That's, I don't care. Right? Like, I don't care if he winds up being a great athlete or not. I would love it because I like sports. Like, that's not the goal for you as a parent, right? Like, if your goal is solely sports, you're going to wind up with a kid who has priorities in the wrong direction, probably.
Starting point is 01:56:38 Yeah. Hopefully that's not the case with this kid. But, you know, I'm reading this headline about him. Who is baby gronk? And this is from NBC News. Did Livy, meaning Olivia Dun, riz him up? Uh, what, I'm unfamiliar with the term Riz. what is that i've heard it recently it's a it's a new slang term that you're supposed to know okay
Starting point is 01:57:01 apparently um let me see i'll give you the you would you need the definition uh-huh um okay here you go uh riz is a slang term often used to describe someone's ability to flirt and to be charming especially for their verbal communication while pursuing a romantic interest so the question really then is whether olivia dunn uh flirted with attention year old? Is that? Sounds as I mean, are we trying to call Libby Dutt a pedophile? What are we doing to her? She seems delightful.
Starting point is 01:57:34 I don't know why. She does. She said he was cute. Okay. Okay. Hmm. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:57:41 And I don't think it was a sexual intro. No, probably not. I mean, honestly, at this point, you know, would we be surprised in this society? I mean, we just had a huge. Almost nothing surprising. I mean, because Livy Donne, I think one of her big, uh, she's an Instagram, uh, Instagram. Instagram and Snapchat and TikTok and all that stuff. But like, did you see this story in the Wall Street Journal about the pedophile rings
Starting point is 01:58:02 they keep breaking up on Instagram where, like they, did you read this story, Pat? It's really incredible. They had investigators who went on to Instagram and went through, I mean, some of the most revolting hashtag searches and all this stuff to try to find if they were exploiting children on these websites. and more than any of the other social media sites, they found it there where people weren't posting, you know,
Starting point is 01:58:32 child porn on these websites, but they were basically advertising it. Like you, they were posting menus of things you could buy. They had, they describe in the story, children who seemed to be running their own accounts to sell themselves to potential people
Starting point is 01:58:53 trying to buy, child pornography, all these crazy things. And like, obviously totally different than what we're talking about here, thankfully. But like there is just this weird, this society is turning in such a strange place. You know, it really is. You know, and I think, I don't know, if anybody understands it better than people like yourself, Pat and me, going up in this stupid industry that we work in. Because, you know, look, radio is, if you're in it, you realize after, of,
Starting point is 01:59:25 short time in it, most of the people involved are insane. Most people who work in this industry are crazy. And I don't know why that is, but I have a couple of theories, which largely it's like a lot of people who, particularly the people who are on the air, and many of them are my friends, and I will tell them to this, to their face, they're nuts. And one of the reasons they're nuts is they spend most of their life trying to figure out how to be as enticing as possible to others. Right?
Starting point is 01:59:55 Like you are constantly trying to say a thing, craft your words in a way that will be most interesting to others. You're constantly trying to impress others. You're looking for their attention. You get a quarterly report or a monthly report of how many people have tuned in to listen to you. And you figure out how many people show up at your events and you see how many people follow you on social media. And that just, it adds weird incentives into. person's life. When that's your job, when your job is essentially constantly striving for popularity, it's difficult to maintain principles. It's difficult to care about things that actually
Starting point is 02:00:36 matter because your job is to get as many people as possible to listen to your stupid voice. Right. So when we decided as a society one day to unleash this industry of constantly looking for others approval on the entire world via social media, there have been some negative consequences associated with that decision. And it's something you wind up noticing on a daily basis. The incentives that are brought along with running a social media account and running your life to try to maximize likes are not healthy practices. A lot of times, as we see on these services, it's wearing very few articles of clothing,
Starting point is 02:01:23 and particularly for women. And for men, a lot of times seems to be bragging about how much money they have. It seems to be the other trend out there. These things are not healthy pursuits. They're supposed to be thinking of higher foundations than that. And I can understand the temptation, obviously, there is money in it if you succeed.
Starting point is 02:01:39 But man, I don't know. As a dad, how would you feel about that with your kid, Pat? What of your 46 kids? It's 47 now. Oh, it is. congratulations. I just checked in with my wife.
Starting point is 02:01:50 We just had our 37. Triple-8-727 back. All right. Jim Rogers, he's the co-founder of one of our favorite management funds, the Soros Management Fund. He says that a bear market is coming, and the U.S. dollar's global dominance is under threat. Is the bear market coming because, I don't know.
Starting point is 02:02:11 Maybe Glenn took a vacation and it's his fault. That's probably it, at least. Since their firm is notorious for crashing the pound sterling, you should take heed when Rogers is talking about a currency collapse. Roger says he's bracing for the biggest market downturn in eight decades, and that commodities are the best hedges against inflation. Also, he owns silver and gold currently. You should be extremely worried, he said, if you're not, you need to know what's going on. I think something bad in the currency market is going to happen in the next two or three years.
Starting point is 02:02:37 Look, Glenn out this week, Gold Line has decided to extend its popular Memorial Day special through the end of this week. Glenn helped design a quarter ounce gold mayflower round. It's beautiful with every tube of 25 acquired. Starting point is 02:03:26 So Pat, I know you're not, I don't want to demean you, but you're not really one of the people, you know. You're not down the masses anymore. You know? Okay. I don't think you're with it enough to really understand the way kids talk today. Mm. And that's why I want to inform you and maybe a few members of the audience what Riz really means.
Starting point is 02:03:46 Because I sounded so unhip. Yeah, you didn't understand. Not knowing what Riz was. It was embarrassing, frankly. I'm sorry. And this is what everyone, everyone, I use this word, you know, 50, 75 times a day now. Oh, wow. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 02:03:57 Wow. Ever since I heard about it. You, if you use it that much, you should own it. Right. It should be my property. Yeah, you should really be paid royalties. That's a good point. When others use the word Riz.
Starting point is 02:04:07 I like that. I like that. Yeah. And I was like, well, where do I go to find out about this word? Because, you know, as a really just cool guy that I am, I just am in step with the youth of today. Mm-hmm. And that's why I went to USA Today to read about what Riz is. Okay. What does Riz mean?
Starting point is 02:04:27 Here's the definition of social media slang term and how to use it. Riz is a slang term often used to describe someone's ability to flirt and be charming, especially for their verbal communication while pursuing a romantic interest. The term can be used as a noun or a verb depending on the sentence. Now, Pat, let me give you some example sentences of this. Marco just tried to riz up Lena. I don't think it went well. Tried to riz up.
Starting point is 02:04:55 Try to riz up, Lina. Okay. All right. They've got this unspoken. Riz. Everything about them just exudes charm. And an unspoken Riz. An unspoken Riz. Okay. Okay. Another one, I heard him practicing his Riz for when he hit the bar later. These are example sentences from USA today. So Riz can really mean whatever you want it to, apparently.
Starting point is 02:05:22 I would say, if I were to classify this back to, you know, as a Gen Xer, I would say it's like how it used to be he's got game. Uh-huh. It seems to be like what it is. Like, I have absolutely no game. None at all. And never did. So I would assume now I have no Riz. And never have.
Starting point is 02:05:42 That's, I think, the way that works, Pat. Okay. Well, we'll work on it during the weekend. And I'll report back to you on Monday. We're going into it. We have a weekend Riz camp. We're going to learn all about it. We're going to a think tank to tell us exactly how to practice.
Starting point is 02:06:00 How to Riz up people that we come in contact with. So by Monday, we'll be risen you like you've never been Rizzed before. Assuming we're using the word wrong. If we're using it, if we're using that right, great. If we're using it wrong, we apologize for whatever we just said. All right. Have a great. We can see you back here Monday.
