Starting point is 00:00:00 Tonight, the first 2020 presidential debate. I'm so nervous I could throw up. I don't know if anybody else feels this way. Tonight could be the night that changes everything. Tonight, if Joe Biden fails, it has to be a big failure for the press to even notice. They might not even at that point. But if he fails, it could change the election and make it a lot easier for Donald Trump. If he just shows up and doesn't make any, doesn't just go,
Starting point is 00:00:34 Alzheimer's, he's going to be declared a winner, and that could make things even tougher for Donald Trump. How does he handle it? Ooh, 8 p.m. tonight, Stu does America's pre-show. Then 9 p.m. Blase TV is going to carry the debate live. We're going to be doing some commentary with Stu. also at 1030 I'm going to be there
Starting point is 00:01:00 Stu Pat Steve Dase Dave Rubin Ali Beth Stucky will react to the debates right after so you can watch the debate and then don't listen to the clowns who have been wrong forever come over to the Blaze TV

Starting point is 00:01:32 And we'll see you tonight. We're going to cover it all. And we begin in 60 seconds. This is the Glenn Beck program. All right. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, get your financial house in order. Have you started preparing your family?
Starting point is 00:01:57 probably on Friday, definitely next Monday, I'm going to start talking to you about preparing your family for what is coming and what you need to do. But one of the things is you've got to get out of debt as much as you possibly can. If you have any extra money, God bless you, I know how hard it is right now. But if you have any extra money, use that to pay off debt if you can. Get things under control, especially credit cards. If you have high interest debt, go to American finance. and see if you can refi your mortgage. If you have a mortgage payment that is over 4%, even if it's down in the threes,
Starting point is 00:02:36 you should be calling American financing to find out if you can get it lower with a refi. The credit cards, what are they taken from you? How many pounds of flesh do you give them? You hit 18% interest or maybe even higher. Don't do that to yourself. Just bundle those debts into one low interest payment. and American financing can help you with that. 8009062440, 800, 906, 2440, or go to Americanfinancing.
Starting point is 00:03:07 American financing. NMLS-182334, www. www. nmLS Consumer Access.org. If you happen to be just listening to us and you haven't been following what we say is coming for the next election, the color revolution, America's color revolution. You need to go back and watch some of our shows and listen to some old podcast where we explain that. And we'll continue to explain it. But the idea is that this is the way, what's happening to us right now is the way the United States State Department and the intel of the United States, CIA, et cetera, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:03:52 This is the way that they foment revolution. and they use people like George Soros who comes and helps destabilize the justice system, which George Soros is doing now. But all of this is part of a plan, and it's a seven-step plan. You have to have somebody who is known as a leader, as a semi-autocratic leader, as somebody who's like, they're going to be Hitler, I'm telling you. Then you have to have an unpopular leader. That person has to be also unpopular.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Oh, he's the most unpopular president ever. Do you know his approval ratings are about where Barack Obama's approval ratings were at this time in his presidency? It's about the same. Oh, no, he's the most hated of all time, is he? Then the media prepares that there's going to be election fraud and there's going to be a problem. And this autocratic ruler is going to take over. Those are the first three steps. With that in mind, let me give you this.
Starting point is 00:04:56 This is from the Washington Post. This is not a drill. The Reichstag is burning. America, for five years, my colleagues and I have taken pains to avoid Nazi comparisons. It's usually hyperbolic and counterproductive to label the right fascists in the way those living on the right reflectively label the left as socialists. But this is no longer a matter. of name-calling. With his repeated refusals this week to accept the peaceful transfer of power, the bedrock principle that has sustained American democracy for 228 years, President Trump
Starting point is 00:05:35 has put the United States in some ways where Germany was in 1933, when Adolf Hitler used the suspicious burning of the German parliament to turn a democracy into a totalitarian state. Overwrought, you say? Then ask Yale history. historian Timothy Snyder, a top authority on Nazism and Stalinism. The Reichstag has been on a slow burn since June, he told me. The language Trump uses to talk about Black Lives Matter and the protest very similar to the language Hitler used, that there's some vague left-wing conspiracy based in the cities that's destroying our country. Trump, as he has done before, has made a villain of a minority group. Trump has made a
Starting point is 00:06:22 villain of a minority group. He has sought out once again to fabricate emergencies to justify greater powers for himself. He has proposed postponing elections. He has refused to commit to honoring the results of the election. And now he proposes to embrace violence if he doesn't win. Oh my gosh. First of all, we haven't had a peaceful transfer of power since George Dup. Bush left office. That was a peaceful transfer of power. That was the way it's supposed to happen.
Starting point is 00:06:58 The one from Obama to Trump? No. Obama was using the State Department, the Intel community, the Justice Department. That wasn't a peaceful transfer of power, as we now know. They were doing everything they could to sabotage this president and for them to keep their power in shadow government. So don't talk to me about a peaceful transfer of power. We haven't had one since 2008. It's important to talk about this, not just as an election, Snyder said. It's an election surrounded by the authoritarian language of a coup d'etat. The opposition has to win the election, and it has to win the aftermath of the election.
Starting point is 00:07:41 If not, there won't be another normal election for some time, he said. May I ask you, is this a normal election? What we're going through now is this. a normal election. The left has done everything they could to confuse it. They have done everything they can and are still doing everything they can to mess up the voting standards that we all have. Mail in voting is not standard.
Starting point is 00:08:10 It was standard in Washington State. That's it. We didn't have that. We had absentee ballots, but not mail-in voting. And mail-in voting is notoriously wrong. and I will show you those facts in a minute. There won't be another election. But that doesn't have to happen, Snyder said.
Starting point is 00:08:31 To avoid it, we voters must turn out in overwhelming numbers to deal Trump a lopsided defeat. The military must hold its own. Homeland Security Police must not serve Trump's brown shirts. We as citizens must take to the streets peacefully, but indefinitely until the will of the people prevails. It's going to be messy. So what he's saying is get out into the streets after the election.
Starting point is 00:08:59 But you're right. If it is lopsided one way or another. If it is just, if on election night, it's a blowout, one way or another, we'll know. If it's close, it's going to be tinkered with all of the mail-in ballots. But the electoral college isn't going to matter. because as long as I can scoop up all kinds of votes, you say votes don't matter in California. Oh, yeah, they do matter in California
Starting point is 00:09:29 because the popular vote is going to be used if he wins the electoral college. It's going to be messy. He seems pretty sure he won't win in the election. He just doesn't want to leave office. To have authoritarian's instinct, he has to stay in power or go to prison. Now prison.
Starting point is 00:09:49 It's abundantly clear that Trump, plans to fabricate an election emergency. This is incredible, especially when you watch tomorrow night special on my Wednesday night special where we are going to show you their actual transcripts, their actual own words of what they are planning for the election. First, he claimed mail-in balloting. A tried-and-true system is fraudulent. It's not tried and true.
Starting point is 00:10:20 it's the furthest from it. Now his supporters are trying to harass in-person voters. Did you notice about the woman who ran over the Trump people this weekend? Oh, that's right. The New York Times, they heard about it. They reported it yesterday, finally. But they didn't report that she was a Democrat and she was trying to roll over Trump voters. But other than that, they got the story.
Starting point is 00:10:47 When Virginia's early voting open in this week, Trump supporters descended on a polling station, waving Trump signs and flags, chanting and forming a gauntlet through which voters had to walk. Oh, my gosh. I've never had to do that with the other side. Let's be clear. There is only one political party in American politics embracing violence. Yes, that's true.
Starting point is 00:11:11 Wouldn't you say, Stu? One party is embracing violence? Yeah. I mean, it does seem like there's a lot of elements. There is only one side. This is according to the Washington Post. There is only one side refusing to denounce all political violence. That's a second statement. That's blatantly. The Democrats blatantly will not call out Antifa by name. There is only one side talking about bringing guns to the polls. I haven't even heard that.
Starting point is 00:11:37 One side attempting to turn federal law enforcement officials into an arm of a political party. I think that's true as well. And Trump is trying to use law enforcement to revive tactics historically used. to bully voters of color from voting tactics not seen in 40 years this is such an outrage but it all goes all of it all of it goes to the colors of revolution they have to print these things they have to but i just want you to know trump supporters are not the ones censoring people on social media david limbaugh had a great story the other day they're not the ones threatening their civil liberties. They're not violating the separations of powers, including through their activist courts and lawless executive orders. They're not demonizing other races as the left is. They're
Starting point is 00:12:35 not the ones threatening the integrity of the electoral process. They are. And the left, on the other hand, is promised to stack the Supreme Court, add territories to the union to increase its electoral prospects, circumvent the electoral college, obliterate the integrity of the voting process through rampant, unverifiable mail-in ballots and the elimination of voter ID rules. And then that's not good enough. You're a kid until you're 27 when the government has to pay for insurance, but you're really an adult and you can vote at the age of 16. Republicans aren't the ones threatening to lawlessly invoke impeachment to blow, to, to, to block Trump's lawful Supreme Court nominee.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Those are all on the left. Is someone recognizing that? Or are our voices and your voice going out into the woods and nobody is hearing it? Are our neighbors hearing this? Do they know the truth? The problem is people are not reading or listening to the other side. And we can say we're very reasonable and we are based in fact. And we are.
Starting point is 00:13:57 But your friends are not hearing anything even close to this. So we sound like grand conspiracy theorist, even though we have the facts to back them up. When we say the things like he's not doing that, mail in balloting is fraudulent. It's not tried in true. They don't hear that. They don't hear in Brooklyn, 25% of all mail-in ballots were ruled invalid during the June Democratic primary. 25% were invalid. That's the Democrats.
Starting point is 00:14:35 In a New Jersey special election, 20% of the ballots were thrown out. Four people are being prosecuted for fraud. In a Florida primary, more than 35,000 mail-in ballots were rejected, and over 100,000 ballots were rejected in California. In Pennsylvania, their primary, half of the counties were still counting ballots a week after the election. The story of the discarded military ballots discovered in Pennsylvania, many of them were cast for Trump. There are reports today in Wisconsin, three trays of mail containing absentee ballots found in a ditch. In North Carolina, voters reported receiving two ballots in the mail. Is this sound like something we can trust?
Starting point is 00:15:23 Does this sound like tried and true? your friends aren't hearing those things your friends need to start hearing those things with facts and you can't say I heard it on Glenn Beck and I don't remember the facts I wish you could have listened to it no you have to have the facts and you have to share them with your reasonable friends because there is an attempt
Starting point is 00:15:49 and there has been this is an ongoing attempt to take and totally transform the United States of America. It started in 2008 when Barack Obama promised it. There was no peaceful transition of power. They went after the president. They fraudulently ginned things up and they knew what they were doing. And it was an inside job that started in the White House and used government agencies. the Justice Department, the State Department, and the intelligence community.
Starting point is 00:16:30 And this is their final play, and we have to be ready. First, peace of mind is worth its weight in gold. Wasn't that long ago. Most of us out of our house during the day, at work, at school, just out. You remember when you didn't have to worry about keeping your doors locked? Boy, those are the days. now a huge number of us are home during the day. We're working or going to school remotely.
Starting point is 00:16:59 In some places, thankfully, it meant a slight decline in break-ins. There's your COVID silver lining, but it's not like that everywhere. And when your kids aren't at home as much as they are now and you're not home as much, you're going to see that rise in crime and it will be a dramatic rise, I think. But your kids are at home. Somebody breaks in during the day, man, the stakes are a lot higher. Simply safe makes it easy and affordable to have the best home security on the market. That's simply safebeck.com. Get a free HD security camera at simply safe beck. Beck.com. 10 seconds, station ID. I'm going to give you a story and I don't have an answer to.
Starting point is 00:18:02 to it. I just think that you should be aware. Three stories that nobody is connecting and they very well may not be connected. These all three might just be some glitch in the system. But I was struck by
Starting point is 00:18:18 three stories that happened last night. Police departments in several states reported interruptions to 911 emergency call service last night. The Minneapolis Police Department also in Delaware, Arizona, Indiana, Colorado, and Pennsylvania.
Starting point is 00:18:39 They were not operational. So you call 911. It didn't go through. It was for phone calls and text messaging. So if you needed police or fire or medical assistance in Minneapolis, you had to call a different number. And the system just healed itself. Thank you, Jesus.
Starting point is 00:19:05 It all of a sudden, it just started working again. So nothing to worry about or see here. Also, there was another story that was going on. Now, this started over the weekend. But apparently, health care workers and the health care system, the Pennsylvania headquartered health care giant, which is called United Health Services, one of the biggest health care providers in the country,
Starting point is 00:19:31 26 acute care hospitals, 328 behavioral health facilities, 42 outpatient facilities all across the U.S. The data and their computer system just mysteriously went down. And they say that it was some sort of a cyber attack. The health care workers that were working there at United Health facilities. One in Florida said it's a hot mess in the ER today. Ambulances with heart patients are being diverted because the facilities, catharization lab was down.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Another worker in California said our ER is closed to ambulances and ORs are closed. All ambulances and surgeries are now being rerouted because they didn't have access to any of their computers. And in another completely unrelated story, and I mean that sincerely, these are not tied together at this point. I just think we should watch and be aware that we may be under attack. Microsoft, the Outlook Office 365 Microsoft Teams, went out for a multi-hour outage last night. Most customers are back online, but that started to happen around 6 o'clock around the time of the 911 outage. We are in a very different world. Stay alert.
Starting point is 00:20:59 hard to believe hard to believe that the end of the year is just around the corner but it is and if you own a timeshare that's great because that means you get maintenance fee season
Starting point is 00:21:14 oh I love that do you have your tree up yet booking a stay at a time share is always difficult this year probably even worse if you've even been able to use it year after year though the maintenance fees
Starting point is 00:21:26 just keep coming and they're getting bigger over time maybe it's something that you should think about getting away from after all probably wasn't a great idea in the first place. If you have a great time share, you know, Disney TimeShare, I know they, they buy them back
Starting point is 00:21:39 immediately and they're really good. But if you're not in one of those, you can schedule a free consultation with the expert advisors with TimeShare Termination Team. They will get you out. They will get you out of that. Put an end to the madness. Time Share termination team. Get a hold of them today.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Get the process started so you don't have to pay another maintenance fee. You'll get 20% off when you terminate your time share. Be sure you tell them I sent you. The number is 888 Get You Out. That's 888 Get You Out. Or you can find them online, timeshare termination team.com. Tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern Sudas America debate pre-show. We'll take you all the way to the post show as well.
Starting point is 00:22:23 Watch it all for free on YouTube. Just go to YouTube and search for Sue. This is the Glenn Beck program. We have Steve in Ohio. Let me go to Steve quickly. Hi, Steve. Hi, Glenn. How are you, man?
Starting point is 00:22:44 Oh, very good. Thanks for taking my call. You bet. So you have a neighbor that got more than one ballot? Well, I was trying to talk to my neighbor. He was a low-information broadcast network kind of guy. Oh, boy. And any time I talk to him about Trump, he would just, you know, blank off or change the subject. Right. And we were talking about the mail-in ballot business, and he said, yeah, my cousin near Grand Rapids had already gotten four mail-in ballots.
Starting point is 00:23:10 Of course, he's a registered Democrat. And none of the registered Republicans that I know about. They shouldn't have gotten mail-in ballots yet, but the Democrats are getting them hand over fist. Well, it's probably because in Michigan, you know, there are just so many more Democrats than there are Republicans, and they want to make sure everybody has enough ballot, and you might make a mistake. You know, you're a Democrat. You might make a mistake. You might make four, and you get your address wrong, or your signature isn't quite right, so you need four ballots so you can just send in that one.
Starting point is 00:23:43 I'm sure that's what's happening, Steve. That or vote early and vote awesome. Either that or voter fraud, yes. You're exactly right. Thanks a lot, Steve. I appreciate it. You know, watching this tonight, it has to be a landslide. The election has to be a landslide.
Starting point is 00:24:03 If every Trump supporter doesn't go out and vote on election night, and I mean get everybody you know to go with you and vote, you say your vote doesn't matter. This time it really does. Because if he loses the, if he wins the electoral college but loses the popular vote, which is almost guaranteed to happen because of New York and California, they are going to make a big deal out of it. And they're going to try to get the election based on the popular vote. They will say that he's an illegitimate president because of the popular vote. So you've got to keep that as close as possible.
Starting point is 00:24:40 I've been running the numbers on this. And you can play with the percentages of. vote and see who's you know if Trump has to do better than he did last time to win with the changes in demographics if everything plays out the same same turnout for each group and each group has the same vote share Trump will lose the election so he has to do better than he did in 2016 let's roll some numbers can we roll numbers and okay so let's roll some numbers let's say trump what did Trump have with African Americans last time yeah so here's a yeah well African Americans, he had 8%
Starting point is 00:25:16 of the vote of African Americans. Let's bring that up to 15% of the vote. Okay. I think that's reasonable. Maybe. Yeah. I mean, that's not Candice Owen says he's going to get 30. I don't know about that. No, but if he goes 8% to 15% of the African American vote, he would then
Starting point is 00:25:32 win the election. However, as you point out, still lose the popular vote by about 3 million. Okay. Let's go Hispanics up 4%. Think that's possible? Including the Are we changing African Americans back to their... No, leave that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Okay, so 4%. So yeah, do I think it's possible? Yes. I mean, he's got 28 in 2016. Give him 30. So 30, okay. White male or white voters that are on, have no college education. So it's broken up into white non-college graduates and white college graduates.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Okay, so go very differently. Yeah, go give give. give white no college. What did he have? He had 69% of the vote last time. Give him 70. Okay, we'll take him up to 70 here. And the graduates.
Starting point is 00:26:22 What is that one? He won 46% of white college graduates. He gave him 42. So he's going down? Yes. Okay. There's more college graduates that are a little older now.
Starting point is 00:26:36 Okay. And then anything else you want to change? Asian others is the other category. We haven't moved at all? No, I don't. I don't know. Okay. So that would give a result of Joe Biden 308 electoral votes, Donald Trump, 230.
Starting point is 00:26:49 Wow. And leave his, leave his numbers alone, Trump's numbers alone on white college educated. Okay, so we'll move him back to 62 there. Whatever he had. Yeah, whatever he had last time, just the same number. Okay, that would be Donald Trump 306, Joe Biden 232. That's how tight this is. These things move by one and two percent, and they move the.
Starting point is 00:27:12 the entire election. Again, in that scenario, however, Donald Trump loses the popular vote again. Now, they've already been coming after the electoral college for the past few years. They will, of course, ramp that up even higher if this happens. To get him, it's interesting to try to find a way, let's say we give 15% of the African American vote. That's up from eight.
Starting point is 00:27:31 We go from 68 to 7, or excuse me, 28 to 30% of the Hispanic vote. We'll keep all that the same. And we go from. let's say 72% of white non-college graduates, then we start getting into basically a tie in the popular vote. So is it possible for Donald Trump to go from 68 to 72% of white non-college graduates? Very possible. And now that has him losing no white college graduates, though.
Starting point is 00:28:00 And that's the part where I think he's struggling the most. You know, you're talking, it's, you know, you look at this again, it's suburban moms. It's, it's that type of group that seems to be, the issue here for Trump. Now, you can also play with the turnout. So if even if he stays around, let's say 70%, a little bit less,
Starting point is 00:28:23 would you start cranking that turnup up? He, you know, instead of 50, I think the turnout for white non-college graduates was 55%. The turnout for white college graduates was 72%. So white college graduates turn out much, much higher numbers than whites that do not, did not go to college. I think that number is going to go higher. Turnout for white non-college graduates?
Starting point is 00:28:45 College graduates. Higher than 72. Yeah, and I think it could go higher, could go higher for non-college. So let's say, let's crank those up a couple of points each. How about black turnout? Up or down? Up. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:29:04 I think up. Yeah. Hispanic turnout? Maybe down or flat. Because it was the wall last time. Yeah, right. Okay, that is, so playing with that a little bit, we now have Donald Trump at 310 electoral votes.
Starting point is 00:29:25 Joe Biden 228. However, once again, Biden still wins the popular vote. I mean, you know, as long as he has a couple of states ahead in the electoral college, as long as he wins, you know, two states or three, if it's one, we're screwed, uh, because they will just dismantle it. They'll find a way. But if he can lose at least one state to their meddling, you know what I mean? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Then I think you're okay. You know, look, if you win 3010 electoral votes, there might be an argument to change the electoral college that the left will make, right? We can expect that. There's not an argument that the election was fraudulent. Now, the Democrats, as I pointed out before, in every election of my adult life that they have lost. They have said it was a fraud and it was stolen.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Every single one of them. So they will say that again in almost any circumstance, right? I mean, no matter what happens, they're going to say it was stolen from them. But is it going to be credible with the American people? Now, like, you could argue that for a good chunk of the American people, the Bush Gore thing was credibly stolen. Now, it's not true. All the media recounts show the opposite. George W. Bush won the election fair and square.
Starting point is 00:30:41 But there- I just remember the days when you could trust the media at least that much where you could say after the recal... They were in the bag for Al Gore. Yep. But eventually they came out and said, no, we've done all the recounts, no matter how we recount it, George Bush wins. Yeah, unless you came up with some fraudulent standard, some crazy standard that any time we, you know, any, it was a ridiculous thing they had to do to get to any other conclusion. The ones that were counted by the media that came back with the standards that were accepted were all in the favor of Bush. and look, Bush won the election, but there's probably 35, 40% of America that sits back and says that was actually Alcourse, right?
Starting point is 00:31:19 For that to happen, I think you have to have your right coming down to one state that's very close, maybe two states that are very close. I mean, if you look back at the Clinton election with Trump, you know, they were in if about 40,000 people changed their mind and switched their votes appropriately spaced over four states. the election swings to Clinton. So that was a very close election when it comes down to the number of votes that would have needed to be switched. I mean, that can give you maybe some confidence that it's very difficult to steal an election. That was a stealable election. It was. And I think they learned that.
Starting point is 00:31:58 I think if they could suppress, I think their goal is they learn from. Remember, they were meeting to figure out how to win this election or take this election or shut him down. on inauguration day. They all met on inauguration day and laid these things out. So they've been looking for ways to make sure that that never happens again.
Starting point is 00:32:21 And if it was stealable then, it will be stealable this time. I think too part of the situation last time is they were very confident, right? They thought they were going to win without the need to pull any shenanigans. This time is, look, this is the craziest election we're ever probably going to see.
Starting point is 00:32:37 So you say they're not, You say they're not confident? I don't think. I think they're terrified about what happened last time. Right. And I think they are, I think that they are terrified, but really, really confident in some regards because of how many tools they have on the table. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:32:58 They have so many ways to rig this, switch this. It just takes a little, it takes just a few of those things to go a little. right. None of them have to go entirely right. Just a few things going a little right and they can turn the tables. And I think they are I think they're arrogant. I mean, why
Starting point is 00:33:20 would the Democrats suddenly side with violence in the streets, with, you know, repealing your guns? They're not, they're not moderating at all. No. They're going the opposite way. They're going the opposite way. Joe Biden is
Starting point is 00:33:35 outwardly running a more leftist campaign than he ran in the primary. And there's only two reasons for that. You know something that we don't know, and so you don't care anymore, or you're so misguided that that's who you think America is. And there's no indication of that's who America is. I mean, I think that's who the Democrats are. They are a far left, you know, group of crazy people. And I think they believe things like the coronavirus plus the George Floyd stuff, plus all the stuff that. that's been happening is allowing them to go further than they normally would in an election. I think they see this as an opportunity to push farther than they ever would.
Starting point is 00:34:16 I mean, this is progressivism one-on-one, right? You take what you can get. And they think they can get more. And look, there's nothing signaling to them that they're losing this race. We can all sit here. I keep hearing so many people on the right so confident that Trump is going to win because he, quote, unquote, won last time and the polls had Clinton favored. Well, again, set your expectations here a little bit. The polls are better for Joe Biden now than they were for Hillary Clinton.
Starting point is 00:34:45 And it is... And Joe Biden is not hated. And Joe Bright, and that was the secret weapon of... That was the secret weapon of Donald Trump in 2016. Yes. Everyone, including the people voting for her, hated Hillary Clinton. They don't feel that way against Biden. Correct.
Starting point is 00:35:00 They think they're worried about him being, losing it a little bit. That's all true. But they don't despise him. They also, I've heard this from several people who vote for, or are we going to vote for Joe Biden. I just, he's not a radical. Right. He's not a radical.
Starting point is 00:35:16 So he can surround himself with radicals. But he'll overpower them. They will think that, they will think that, well, he's going to be in charge. And then you follow it up with, does he seem in charge? Well, I don't know. I mean, he's not going to run if he's, you know, if he's in dementia. you. That's why tonight is so important. He has to be seen as placating the radicals. He has to be seen as a, you know, daughtering old guy, you know, like, you know, like all of our grandfathers
Starting point is 00:35:48 get eventually, you know, he's got to seem like that. If he can pull off that he's not that, he's strong, he's alert, he's got it, you know, he makes the typical Joe Biden gaffs, but he just holds it together, this is going to be a very good night for Joe Biden. I will tell you, if I were Joe Biden, I would try to approach this with the eye of having a moment, you know, the sister soldier moment everyone always talks about from the Bill Clinton campaign, a moment where you say, I'm not going to pack the court. Yeah. I'm not going to, I'm not going to, we're not defunding the police. None of this is on the table for me. I don't want any of it. All this crazy stuff. I don't want to add states and and, and all that stuff that that you keep hearing suggested that Donald Trump keeps saying I'm doing. I'm not doing any of that.
Starting point is 00:36:34 I don't want any of that. I love this country the way it is. If he has that sort of moment, which I don't know that he's capable of, I think his whole party would revolt. All right. Make sure you're watching the debates. We're going to have the pre-coverage with Stu. Then we're going to have the actual coverage. Starting point is 00:37:10 We've been telling you about Rough Greens for a while now because of the amazing things that is done for my dog, Uno. Uno is a different dog. He really is a different dog. He's like a puppy again. And the more I feed him, Rough Greens, the younger he gets. I mean, I've been feeding him for like six months now,
Starting point is 00:37:29 and I saw the first immediate change was he would eat. then I noticed that he would eat his food and he was just seemingly a little happier. Then I started noticing, as he kept going on in eating rough greens, that he was healthier. And he started to really change. And then he started looking younger and acting younger. It's a process to watch that is truly amazing. This is not a dog food. This is something you put on top of it.
Starting point is 00:37:55 And they have probiotics and antioxidants and vitamins and minerals and omega oils. some of the stuff that your dog needs to live, that is all cooked out of kibble food. You put this on your dog's food. They love it. And that will be the first change you see right away. They love it. Within three days, they will not eat anything else. Give your dog rough greens.
Starting point is 00:38:16 RUFF greens.com slash Beck. Roughgreens.com slash Beck or call 833, Glenn 33 now. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. I'm going to tell you the strategy, and I'll go into great detail on this. In hour number three of today's broadcast, we're going to spend an hour with Steve Dason. We're all just going to get together and talk about what we think is happening with the debates tonight, how what Trump should do, what Biden could do. But I believe that Biden's attack is all going to be about not what the New York Times printed about taxes. But the conclusion they came to because they didn't come to a conclusion that he broke all kinds of laws and he should go to jail.
Starting point is 00:39:10 No, they came to a different conclusion. And that's going to be the attack of Joe Biden today. And I hope the president is being alerted to this and has a great response. I'll give you what they're doing and what I think is a great response coming up on today's program. Also, Selena Zito talked about Heartland of America, what is on their mind. And Ted Cruz next. You know what I'm going to do?
Starting point is 00:40:41 I'm going to go, I'm going to go home and make some ribs for tonight. That's what I'm going to do. A little rib party? A little rib party tonight. So you're not going to show up to our coverage? I thought you were. Yeah, I am going to. I'll bring the ribs.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Okay. Okay. Rectech. I have a grill called Rectec, and it is unbelievable because it has smart grill technology. I can't cook outdoors. I'm a pretty good cook indoors. I can't cook outdoors. Really?
Starting point is 00:41:04 Yeah, I don't know when the meat's done. I just burn it every time. It's too hot or, oh, it's awful. But this has. smart grill technology. It's a rec tech grill. It'll be the last grill and smoker you will ever want to buy. I mean, the ribs and the steaks and everything, they come out perfectly. RecTech. Check them out now. R-E-C-T-E-Q, R-C-T-E-Q.com. Recktec.com. Compare them to, you know, the best one you can find in Home Depot or wherever. There is absolutely no comparison.
Starting point is 00:41:38 No comparison. So why did you tell me to compare them? Oh, because I want you to look at the best, and then I want you to go online and look at rec tech, because they are priced competitively against the best out there, but they are so far above because they can spend that extra money, not giving it to the middleman, and putting it into the product. It's just amazing. RecTech, R-E-C-T-E-Q-C-E-Q.com. Ted Cruz joins us here in just a minute.
Starting point is 00:42:04 Stand-bye. 15 seconds. Fusion of entertainment. and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck program. Okay. All righty then. Who's nervous about tonight's debate?
Starting point is 00:42:56 Come on. Tonight is a very important night. Joe Biden against Donald Trump. If Joe just holds it together, the expectations for Joe Biden are so low. If he just doesn't look like he's wet his pants, He's going to be okay. And he will be declared the winner.
Starting point is 00:43:16 And this could be the last debate because if he comes out fine unscathed, you know they're going to be saying, we're not dignifying Donald Trump with another debate ever. They'll lock him in the basement and you'll never see Joe Biden again. So the debates tonight. But also there's some other things going on. Really important. We have the SCOTIS nomination.
Starting point is 00:43:38 We have the ballot fraud that is going on. The Senate race. some of those things we're going to talk to Ted Cruz about. He joins us in 60 seconds. This is the Glenn Beck program. Okay, I don't know if you know this. I discovered this when we were looking into Obamacare, and we're seeing how bad this was for seniors, Obamacare,
Starting point is 00:44:06 how bad it really was. And the benefits that would happen to anybody, these pharmaceutical companies, et cetera, they could get all kinds of benefits from pushing it. And then I found AARP pushing it. And I thought, how could that possibly be? Well, I learned my lesson because they're not really for you. They are just a giant machine that will take whoever's got the most amount of money
Starting point is 00:44:30 and they will do work that is not really in your best interest, especially if you're a conservative. That's why AMAC was started, the Association of Mature American Citizens. It's like AMAC, sorry, it's like AARP, except these guys actually fight for you. It's the best choice for you. You'll get all the discounts, car insurance hotels, roadside assistance, phone service options, all of these things. But you also get an organization that fights for your values and stands up for your God-given freedoms. They stand up for the Second Amendment.
Starting point is 00:45:05 They stand up for life. Things like freedom of speech. That is what really puts up. over the top. So get the same great service, if not just a little better, with AMAC. Plus, get somebody who's fighting with you, not against you.
Starting point is 00:45:23 Amac.amac.us.us. That's AMAC.comac. dot U.S. slash Beck. Amac is better. Better for you. Better for America. Ted Cruz, Senator from the great state of Texas and author of a new book that comes out, I think, today one vote away how a single Supreme Court seat can change history. A great book where he
Starting point is 00:45:55 explains how it already has and let you noodle on what it means for the future. Ted Cruz. How are you, sir? Glenn, I'm doing terrific. How are you doing today? I'm good. I'm good. I want to get to your book here in a second. First, any thoughts about the debate? Well, I think the debate, it ought to be interesting. I think there'll be some fireworks. My assumption is Biden will take a couple of shots at Trump, and I think Trump will take several shots at Biden. What I hope happens is that we see a real contrast of ideas and a contrast of visions. I think we win if we contrast free enterprise with socialism. I think we win if we contrast the rule of law and the Constitution and Bill of rights with chaos and anarchy and riots in the street. I think Joe Biden wants to make it just a
Starting point is 00:46:52 personality contest on whether or not you happen to like Donald J. Trump. They think they win that. I don't know if they do or not, but I know, and I'm confident we win if we focus on the competing visions and what's better for America. So in a related question, I'm worried about losing the presidency, but I am terrified of losing the presidency and the Senate. And there's a real chance of that. The two are closely correlated. If you look at the Senate seats that Republicans are defending, they're in purple states. They're in states that are tough.
Starting point is 00:47:28 And most of the outcomes, the presidency and the Senate go together. We either win both or we lose both. There's a couple of very narrow slices where you win one or the other, but in all likelihood, it's all good or all bad. And Glenn, if we wake up in January of 2021 with Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi in charge, God help us. God help us. They will do more damage in two years than Obama did, Nate. I don't think we, I don't think we, I think the fundamental transformation of America is done at that point, unless we have the Supreme Court holding to not the Republican point of view. I don't want that.
Starting point is 00:48:15 I want somebody who's holding to the Constitution. Will the, if Amy Coney Barrett is, is pass through and wins her nomination, is that enough on the Supreme Court to be able to hold this country together? Well, I think she is a strong nominee. I think the decision to nominate Judge Barrett may well be the single most important decision. President Trump has done in office. As you know, I've got a brand new book came out today called One Vote Away, How a Single Supreme Court's seat Can Change History.
Starting point is 00:48:56 And the book, before I was in the Senate, I was a Supreme Court litigator. What I did for a living is argued cases in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. And what the book does is each chapter talks about a different constitutional liberty. So there's a chapter on free speech. There's a chapter on religious liberty. There's a chapter on the Second Amendment. There's a chapter on U.S. sovereignty. There's a chapter on democracy and elections, and it talks about Bush versus Gore.
Starting point is 00:49:24 I was part of the legal team that represented George W. Bush, and the case went all the way to the Supreme Court in a contested election. We could easily see that this November. And what the book does is it really tells inside war stories of what's going on at the court. It takes you behind the curtain who the justice and are, what they're doing, and many of the landmark cases in each of these areas, I litigated. And so I tell the behind the scenes who the parties were, what was going on. And I'll tell you, it really is striking on issue after issue after issue. So many of the landmark cases are five to four, meaning we're just one vote away.
Starting point is 00:50:06 One more leftist judge is the difference between losing our rights to free speech, religious Liberty the Second Amendment versus preserving and keeping those rights. Well, we have John Roberts, who I think has been wrong on all of the big constitutional questions. I don't even know who he is anymore. I mean, he just seems like he's worried about PR or I don't know what. But do. Go ahead. It's painful and unfortunate, and I've known John Roberts 25 years. John was a former clerk to Chief Justice Rehnquist, as was eye. And I got to say, what has happened to John in the last couple of years, and particularly this term, has been horrific. He has become Sander Day O'Connor. And personally, I think it's driven by
Starting point is 00:50:56 antipathy for Donald Trump. It is difficult to imagine two people more antithetical, more opposite than John Roberts and Donald Trump. And there are a whole series of decisions this term where John Roberts sided with the left on the court in a way that was really inconsistent with the Constitution, inconsistent with the laws. And one of the things I try to do in this book, one vote away, the last chapter is all on Supreme Court nominees and how to get it right. And it traces the history of Supreme Court nominations going back to Dwight D. Eisenhower. And if you look at it, and you know this, Glenn, Democrats are nearly 100 percent. Virtually every Democratic nominee votes exactly as the Democrats would want in almost every case.
Starting point is 00:51:45 Republicans are terrible at this. We don't even bat 500, and there's a clear pattern. There's a difference between when we get it right and when we get it wrong. If you look at those justices who stayed faithful to their oaths, who stayed faithful to the Constitution, Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, Sam Alito, Chief Justice William Rehnquist, my former boss, every one of them had a long proven record as a conservative. They had stood up for the Constitution. They were constitutionalists, and this is the critical piece. They had been excoriated by the press. They had
Starting point is 00:52:21 been pounded by the press, and they hadn't wavered. That's what produces results, that was what produces consistency. On the other hand, when Republicans have a stealth nominee, someone that doesn't have a record, someone that hasn't been criticized, 100% of the time, they turn. out to be a disaster. All right. So does Barrett have that long record? Ted? Sorry. Does yeah. Does, does, does, does, uh, does, uh, Barrett have that record? I lost the audio. We lost the audio with Ted. Are you, can you hear me, Ted? Uh, okay. You're, you're coming back. Sorry, sorry, Glenn, the audio is fading in and out. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm asking if Amy Coney Barrett has that record, that long record.
Starting point is 00:53:10 You know, I hope so. Uh, her credentials are very, very strong. She was, she was first in the class at Notre Dame Law School. She clerked for Justice Scalia. She's been a law professor at Notre Dame for 20 years. She has been one of the most respected appellate judges in the country for the past three years. She's also a mom of seven kids, which is amazing. I can't even imagine doing that, much less doing that along with everything else she's done. And so I hope she proves a strong and consistent constitutionalist. My preference is always for a longer proven record, but I think everything we know about her is strong and encouraging. Okay. You're in your book. You do break down Gun Rights Chapter 3, Religious Liberty, School Choice, abortion, free speech, crime, law, and order,
Starting point is 00:54:08 and then democracy and the electoral process. All All of those are about to be lost. All of those are about to be lost. How? Go ahead. Every one of them is hanging in the balance. Let's start with free speech. One of the things I talk about in the book is the case Citizens United. Now, a lot of people have heard of Citizens United. The Democrats hate that decision. They attack it constantly. Most people don't actually know what Citizens United concerned. Citizens United, was a nonprofit organization that made a movie critical of Hillary Clinton. And the Obama administration wanted to find them for criticizing Hillary Clinton. And the question there was, can we, as citizens, criticize our politicians? At the oral argument, the Obama Justice Department, Justice Sam Alito, asked the Obama DOJ, under your argument, could the federal government ban books? If it disagreed with the book, if it didn't want the book to criticize a politician, could it ban books? And the Obama DOJ said, yes, we could ban books. Now, fortunately, the Supreme Court rejected that radical proposition,
Starting point is 00:55:26 but the vote was five to four. There were four justices willing to take away our free speech rights, to make it, give the government the power to make it illegal to make movies, to make books, to criticize our politicians. That is, I think, a profound threat. to our liberties. In the book that Ted's just put out one vote away, he talks about the electoral process, which Ted, if the president, and there's a good shot, he wins again without the popular vote. The Democrats are prepared with states just to say, we're delivering all of our votes for the electoral college to the popular vote winner, which is not, that's not the way it works. can they do that? And how do we hold on to the electoral college, which I think is the most
Starting point is 00:56:19 important thing for the balance of our country? Well, I'm deeply concerned that we're headed for a period of chaos in the weeks after election day. I think by any measure, this could be a close election. And if it's close, Joe Biden has already made explicit that if he doesn't win, he intends to challenge the legitimacy of the election. Bush versus Gore, as you mentioned, there's an entire chapter talking about Bush versus Gore. The last time we had a significant contested presidential election in the courts. I was a young lawyer. I was on the George W. Bush campaign at the time.
Starting point is 00:56:55 In fact, Heidi and I met on that campaign. We were at cubicles about 20 feet apart from each other on the campaign. I was down in Tallahassee the entire time of the recount. It was chaos on election night. George W. Bush had won. The votes were counted. He won. He was declared president. And then the votes were close enough that Al Gore challenged it. And he filed a whole series of lawsuits all throughout Florida seeking to reverse the outcome of the election. And what he was seeking to do was throw out votes that were for George W. Bush and try to find new votes that were for him. And then that's what anyone in a recount, if you've lost, your incentive is keep counting and counting and counting, to you can change the outcome. Well, it was utter chaos. I remember we had a war room. with a white board with seven different cases all on the white board any one of which
Starting point is 00:57:47 could could flip the presidency of the united states that case went to the u.s. supreme court twice the first time we won unanimously nine zero the supreme court vacated the decision of the florida supreme court senate back said they got it wrong the second time it went up to the court we won seven two on the violation so seven to the supreme court agreed what was happening in Florida violated the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution. But critically, it was 5-4 on the remedy, on the outcome, where 5-4 the court ruled, enough is enough. We've counted the votes. The votes have been counted four times. George W. Bush has won all four times. Under the law, the election is over. It's time to move on. That decision, we had 36 days of uncertainty
Starting point is 00:58:39 of chaos, the country in the world, didn't know who the next president was going to be. I think we could see it much, much worse this year. Instead of just one state, Florida, I think Biden, if he loses, could challenge in three, four, five states simultaneously. We could see chaos. You know, there's this group, I'm sure you know, about, called the Transition Integrity Project. Oh, yeah. And it's a group of Biden supporters, hard Democrats and leftists, but graybeards in the Democratic Party, and then also a bunch of Republicans who are never Trumpers who hate the president also. So they're almost all Biden supporters. And they ran through what they called war games about the election. And they had John Podesta
Starting point is 00:59:22 played Joe Biden. Now, John Podesta, as you know, was Bill Clinton's chief of staff. He was Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman. So Podesta is a respected figure in the Democratic Party. He played Joe Biden in the scenario that they labeled clear Trump victory. So clear win. What Podesta playing Biden did was challenge the outcome of the election, get Democratic states to send electors who voted for Biden, even though the people in the states didn't vote for Biden. And actually, in this scenario, they had three states, California, Oregon, and Washington try to secede from the country. It is. We could be facing. chaos. And it's why we need a nine justice Supreme Court. I agree with you. In fact, I have a
Starting point is 01:00:10 special tonight going through those actual transcripts to show the American people. These are radicals that will not accept no for an answer. Ted Cruz, thank you very much. Ted Cruz, his new book is out today. It is one vote away how a single Supreme Court seat can change history, a lot of behind the scenes. Ted Cruz. All right. Starting point is 01:01:49 I mean, this has been it. We've kind of been dealing with an election year that was not an election year. And it's been COVID year and race riots year and everything else. Tonight we actually, I feel like the election kicks off. You have a debate. And this is what I think everybody is, you know, on the right at least has been looking at and saying like, we need a chance for Joe Biden to have to stand there and not with a teleprompter and actually answer for his.
Starting point is 01:02:15 positions and the things being done on his behalf in the party. And Chris Wallace, I think, is a good guy to do that. I have some confidence that he'll actually ask Joe Biden a couple of tough questions and impress them a little bit. Here's the thing. Joe Biden is going to take the approach that Jimmy Carter took with Ronald Reagan. And if somebody hasn't told Donald Trump this story, they need to. Ronald Reagan got his butt kicked in the first debate.
Starting point is 01:02:45 by Jimmy Carter. And he, uh, he, he, he, he was a guy that was all numbers. He was all,
Starting point is 01:02:52 you know, you don't know about this program and the farms program and this program. And in the end, Ronald Reagan won because he was, he was told by Roger Ailes, look, America doesn't care about those details. They don't care that you don't know all the ins and outs of every detail.
Starting point is 01:03:11 They want to know that you will have competent people around you that will know those details, but you are holding fast to the things you believe in. You believe in the American people. You believe government is the problem, not the solution. If Donald Trump is very, very focused on, you know what, I don't know the details because I believe in the American people to rebuild. It wasn't government. I got government out of the way. You put government in the way, and that's why you couldn't create more jobs than you did. I took it, got government out of the way, because the American people will do it every time. If he remembers that, he'll win.
Starting point is 01:03:53 Is the Glenn Beck program? Leftist corporations like Verizon have empowered radicals to tear our country apart by funding their efforts. Most recently, they spent $10 million to Al Sharpton and others like him. In your wildest dreams, would you give Al Sharpton in his group a dollar? No. No way. No way. Well, they have.
Starting point is 01:04:13 They've taken lots of your dollars and passed them on to Al Sharpton. I mean, he's really only the beginning. Starting point is 01:06:35 I do want to hear from somebody that was heard from a lot right after the election because she's the only one that called it really right on the money. And that's Selena Zito. And Selena is with us now. Hi, Selena. How are you? Hey, Glenn. How are you?
Starting point is 01:06:52 Very good. You are, of course, a columnist for the New York Post, a national political reporter. for Washington Examiner, co-author of the Great Revolt which talked about
Starting point is 01:07:03 the first race in 2016 and what the media missed. What are you feeling today? Because I'm about to throw up.
Starting point is 01:07:11 I'm so nervous. Well, you know, I totally get that. I also feel, you know, sort of, you know, like racy-heart
Starting point is 01:07:20 kind of anxiety feeling. Right. And I think that's pretty normal, especially if you are a political junkie like you
Starting point is 01:07:27 and all, I are. But more children of Americans are not as obsessed. You would think they were based on the constant coverage on cable news and or on social media. That, you know, most people, though not live and die by American politics. I think that going into this evening, the onus is on Joe Biden to do a number of things. to either win voters over, earn someone's vote, going to lose votes, not necessarily that will go to Trump, but people will take a look at him and say, it depends on what
Starting point is 01:08:16 lane you're in. They could look at him and say a number of things. First of all, he's too far left, or he's too moderate. But the third problem, and I think this is the one people are sort of anticipating, is that he's not on his game anymore and that he has lost, I think that gaffs are his problem. Right. I think that his problem is saying things like he went to an historic black college, which he did not. Those are not gaps.
Starting point is 01:08:49 Those are problems. But also, don't you think, I think there's a lot of people that I've talked to at least that are voting for Donald Trump, I mean for Joe Biden, and they, they say, well, he's not part of the hard left. So if he looks like he's part of the hard left, that's a problem. But the other thing is they always say is he's not part of the hard left. And I mean, he's just going to get the job done. And he'll keep those people at bay.
Starting point is 01:09:15 But if he doesn't look like if he has a moment where he's confused or any of a senior moments, I think people are also tuning in to see if he is going to be, if he's at, if he's actually there. Do you hear that concern at all? Right. Yeah, absolutely. I do hear that concern. And I also hear the concern from people.
Starting point is 01:09:41 And to your point about being either part of the far left, he's going to lose moderate voters who don't particularly care for Donald Trump's comportment but think that they have a safe choice with Biden if he goes too far left. He's going to lose them. That does not mean they go. to Trump, that does mean they sit at home. He also could lose people on the far left. I have a really, like, illustrated story about this in my latest column at the examiner,
Starting point is 01:10:13 where there was this house that I passed almost every day, just filled with, like, Bernie Sanders paraphernalia. There was a full, you know, a life-size sign of him. There had to be at least 30 signs in the... There's one tiny little sign in this yard that says Meteor 2020. So if Biden, you know, those are the undetected voters, right? Those are the ones that you have to, if you're a Democrat, and if their needs are not met, that they're going to just sit it out and essentially say,
Starting point is 01:10:55 hey, you know what? We told you guys we wanted someone left. You gave us Biden. He doesn't have our back. He's not with us on our issues. We're not showing up and y'all can just have Donald Trump. Wow. So if he's asked tonight about the police, which he should be asked about,
Starting point is 01:11:14 he has not reigned in the violence until very recently. And then he's even come out and said the only one that's talking about defunding the police is Donald Trump. Is that going to be effective? No. You know, there's this assumption that by the political strategists and in large part by my profession, that they still think it's 20 years ago where people don't have the access to work things up and find out of it through. Because we have such a large distrust in my profession, and quite frankly, we have earned it, people are not going to take what someone says at face of value as being the God's truth. And so they're going to woke up and say, is he consistent on this?
Starting point is 01:12:09 Well, no, actually, he's not. And he is, when he falls into that trap of being considered a typical politician, which, by the way, is based on both sides. Yeah. Okay. And if he starts speaking like a traditional politician, politician, and he is one. He spent 40 years in Washington.
Starting point is 01:12:34 If he starts slowing out big words and concepts and trying to sort of talk down, not just to Trump, but to voters, he really has a problem in earning their support. The article you wrote, Forgotten Counties will make their voices heard is, I mean, everybody should read this. You talk about a county that was Democrat. notoriously Democrat. And the small counties, little by little, had been moving towards the Republicans.
Starting point is 01:13:08 And you talk about one where it was lopsided for the Democrats forever. And now it's a Republican. The registration has gone off the charts for the Republicans there. And you mentioned several counties in Pennsylvania are like that. Is that enough? I mean, Donald Trump needs every single vote. he can get in some of these states, just to battle the possibility of a rigged election. Are the numbers for Trump, do you think, solid and bigger than they were in 16?
Starting point is 01:13:48 So what I think was, in 2016, I wrote in August of 2016, there's 10 counties to watch that if just 2,000 more voters showed up in these counties for Trump over Romney, that Trump would win. Didn't matter what happened in Philadelphia. Didn't matter if Hillary Clinton was able to replicate Obama numbers and or exceed them. He would still win. And I said by 40,000 votes, it was actually 44,000 votes. Those numbers need to increase.
Starting point is 01:14:22 I'm not increased. They need to remain steady. Plus, they need to draw out 1% more voters to be able to. to offset the Philadelphia numbers. Again, doesn't matter what the turnout is. What matters is if you get this 1% more. Also, I'm really keeping my eye on the top key Pennsylvania that go from Warren all the way over to Wackawanna.
Starting point is 01:14:51 These are the counties that I call the energy counties, and these are in agriculture counties. These are counties where a lot of voters did not show up, for Trump, even though they would, uh, were Republican, but because they thought the way he talked was more like a liberal Democrat from the outer Bronx of New York. Right. Now he has a record and the record is something that they're very supportive of, uh, energy workers because of loosening the regulations, agriculture voters, because of the trade deal.
Starting point is 01:15:27 They love that trade deal. Now, you, you draw out about 2,000 more voters in those eight counties. And again, the same scenario exists. Also, you have to continue to draw out voters in those original 10 counties. And almost all of them have switched their registration from Democrats to Republican in the past four years. I will tell you that I know a lot of people like me that that's a first election in 2016. First election, I didn't vote for a Republican or a Democrat. I voted for an independent. That's the first time I've ever done that. And I know a lot of people that did that or just didn't vote because they couldn't vote for Hillary Clinton and just couldn't vote for Donald Trump. He didn't have a record. They didn't believe in him. Now they do.
Starting point is 01:16:14 And those people come out. Yes, absolutely. I had a story just about a week and a half ago from Camberget County, Pennsylvania. And I walked into the county Republican office. These are one of those counties that has changed the registration. There was a gentleman there who was in his 50s, who had been a Democrat all of his life, did not vote for Donald Trump in 2016, and Switz was changing his party affiliation along with several dozen other people. There was a line outside the building. Wow. And then he was voting for Trump this time.
Starting point is 01:16:46 These are the people, if y'all read the Great Revolt, in the back of the Great Revolt is a self-identified Trump voters in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Iowa. And we asked them, did you tell a family member, friends? or a pollster that you were going to vote for Trump. 34% of them said no. And 2016 is like a Disney movie compared to what we're experiencing right now. All right, Selena, thank you so much. We'll talk again.
Starting point is 01:17:18 And by the way, happy birthday. Thank you, Glenn. 20 again, Selena Zito. Thank you so much. LifeLock is our sponsor. And in a world where we are individually, being taken and absorbed into the folds of collectivism, it is important that you hang on to your identity

So we now know from Giuliani yesterday. So what was the drug test thing all about that Donald Trump keeps tweeting about? Giuliani has been on TV today. And he's throwing it all out there. He's throwing all out there.
Starting point is 01:19:07 Yeah, he has an exchange with Fox and Friends that's making the rounds right now where he's basically saying Joe Biden has some effects of dementia potentially. Right. And is taking some sort of Adderall or ADD medication to keep him focused. And the price, I mean, look, a lot of people have said that, but the priceless part of this is watching the three Fox and Friends anchors try to like get themselves through the moment where they realize this isn't really news. It's more of just Giuliani throwing stuff out there. It's his opinion. Yeah, which is fine, I guess. Like they are very uncomfortable and they try to cut him off multiple times. And Rudy just powers through.
Starting point is 01:19:42 He does not care. One thing you can say about Giuliani, he just does not care. He doesn't care about what you think about him. He just goes for it. There's a reporter from, I think, the Daily Beast who just tweeted this. Around midnight last night, Giuliani texted me that he's going to be flying over with Trump on Air Force One to Cleveland for the debate debate today. And then there were a bunch of texts about dementia, ADD drugs, senile old,
Starting point is 01:20:02 broken down old crook. And you get the idea. He just doesn't care. This is going to be an amazing thing to watch tonight, though. I mean, there's been such build up for this, for months and months and months. Every time you hear a poll or you feel like maybe Trump's not doing so well, everyone says, just wait for the debates. Because the debates are going to come and it's going to be Joe Biden versus Donald Trump on the same stage.
Starting point is 01:20:26 Everyone's going to be forced to watch this thing. They're all going to see an A-B comparison of a guy who, you know, look, for all the things that you say about Donald Trump, he's still got all the energy, he's still on of all this where you see what Biden does. I mean, he sometimes feels like he's about to fall asleep. Sometimes he seems like he's very excited and angry and about to punch somebody, you know, as he's walking through the floor of a factory somewhere. Other times, he's completely discombobulated and has no idea what word is coming next. You can't sometimes he's reading stuff. All the, the prompters are gone. Everything's gone. He's going to have to stand up there and they're going to go man to
Starting point is 01:21:02 man, no, well, I don't know, can they have notes? I don't think they can. I think they can have maybe one card or something. Or they can write during the debate maybe. Yeah, but they're not. I don't think they're allowed to come on with anything. Right. Maybe they can just take notes of what was said during that. Either way. They can come in and write somebody says, don't forget these things. That's all they're doing while they handshake, which won't happen tonight. But they'll he handshake. And then they remember, they go right to the podium and they write stuff down. And you'd have to say, Glenn, I think you'd agree with this, although maybe you're a little hesitant.
Starting point is 01:21:31 if you're going to pick one person who the mainstream media is going to accept as a moderator, Chris Wallace is not a bad choice. I mean, he's going to be harder on Biden and push him more than some MSNBC person or a CNN person. But he's still, he's not conservative. I'm not saying he's conservative. I'm just saying that like, again, they'll still say he's from Fox. But to start for this first debate, I mean, it's probably who you want, right? Well, better than Anderson Cooper.
Starting point is 01:22:03 I mean, you could have someone on MSNBC doing this. They had Rachel Maddow doing some of these debates. Yeah, and they'd be fine with it. They'd be fine with it. Yeah. So probably the best choice here is Chris Wallace. And tonight, they talk about race. They talk about security.
Starting point is 01:22:21 And some of the problems that each have. First, let me tell you about American financing. American financing going to help you get your, your life in order, get your finances on track. We want you to look at what they have to offer right now. Starting point is 01:23:20 but you could say, look, I'll cut you in on it. I'll pay you even some more. Is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the global. The Glenn Ben program. This is not helping my mood at all. I have Stu and Steve Dase in my studio for the next hour. They're talking about poll numbers and all these things that are just making me sick to my stomach.
Starting point is 01:24:09 Because it's just the free world at stake. And tonight is debate night. It could be the first and the last of the presidential debates, depending on how it goes. We're going to walk you through it, what we expect, what we're looking for, and urge you to watch our coverage tonight. We're going to cover it unlike everybody else. We're going to actually cover the debate, you know, like the Olympic judges. The Russian judge will give him a one on that answer.

Starting point is 01:25:21 All right. My pillow. Have you tried my pillow yet? You know what? I could tell you that there is nothing that would make me try a my pillow. There was not, because I look at the ads, I see the pillows and I'm like, nope, I would not be comfortable with that. And there's nothing that would get me to try it. Really, there would be nothing.
Starting point is 01:25:40 Then Michael Indell walked into my office because they sent me one and I were like, I got to have a meeting with Mike Lindel. They're trying to get me to do my pillow. And I tried it and I hated it. And I told the rep, it's not going to happen. And, you know, when you meet somebody, you don't want to say your pillow sucks. And so he walked in. It's an interesting beginning to a commercial.
Starting point is 01:26:02 I know. I know. Well, he came into my office and he said, nice to meet you. And I said, nice to meet you, Mike. And he said, you know, so did you try out the pillow? And I said, you know, I, and he stopped me and he said, you hate it, don't you? And I said, well, yeah, now that we're being frank, yes. I didn't enjoy it.
Starting point is 01:26:21 He said, which pillow do you have? I said, I don't know. I'm a white one. He said, you have the wrong pillow because they become one where you have a big head like mine and you need a lot of extra support or a thinner one. And he said, I'll get you the bigger one. Just try it again. I did. I sleep with it every night now.
Starting point is 01:26:38 I can't sleep without it now. And it bothers me. Wrong again, Beck. Anyway, my pillow. They have the geese at dream sheets. Once again, two for one, low price. Steve Dase is joining us now. He's going to be joining us for the presidential debate. It will be myself, Stu, Pat, Steve. Dave Rubin is joining us. Ali Beth Stuckey also going to react to the debates live. And Steve is with us now. Steve, how do you feel today?
Starting point is 01:27:33 Are you confident or you, I mean, it's just the free world. That's all it is. I just, and I, I've done that a lot this year when I've been asked questions about various topics. And you know me, I like to just fly off the cuff with certainty. Even if I'm not entirely certain, but that's just how I roll. Yeah, that's you. You can beg for permission or ask forgiveness, right? You know, he's backpedal on a fly ball, easily or run up on it,
Starting point is 01:27:58 easier to get a back pedal. But I don't, and this is where there's this tension we have for us. Are we a movement or an industry? And I get that it gets a lot of clicks, and I've pointed out his obvious dementia too. And I don't say this. You know, we were one of the first people to talk about this on our show last year. and I don't say this to be mean it's clear that he is mentally
Starting point is 01:28:21 incapacitated in some way I feel bad because I watch my grandfather go through this. I do too. I watched my wife's grandfather go through this and it's so... And he was a brilliant man, a surgeon and I feel like I don't want to have to attack him on this level. On the other hand
Starting point is 01:28:37 a major political party has put up somebody who is clearly just a front operation for whatever they want to do behind the scenes because he's not going to be the one making the decisions. They even say it It's the Harris administration. It's only the future of my own children at stake. And so I want to be merciful to his plight.
Starting point is 01:28:54 On the other hand, you're throwing his plate down my throat in order to justify whatever you want to do to my kids in their future. And so I feel like I have to attack it at the exact same time. And so I feel as if now that our entire conservative media has glommed on to the Biden dementia thing in the last few months, we have now, we have reduced his expectations to ash. If he shows up and is a mouth breather and doesn't scream. for the metamusel in the first 15 minutes, done, Biden win.
Starting point is 01:29:20 Right. And I think this is where there's this tension, and we saw this a lot in 2016, between click-servative media and the conservative movement. And it's just not, as someone that's been on a presidential debate team, has been in the spin room after a presidential debate on behalf of a candidate. All of this, really, is about managing expectations. There's two goals you have in a presidential debate. One is to successfully manage expectations before and after,
Starting point is 01:29:44 and then two is to create the right kind of viral moment as opposed to the wrong kind of one. Because something's going viral at the end and you don't want to be on the wrong end of the gun, right? And I just feel like we've already lost objective number one. I mean, the debate's only 90 minutes and not two hours. We have a notoriously cantankerous moderator and Chris Wallace who the questions will all be seven minutes long. So that's far less time Biden has to talk. And we just have we've reduced his mental capacity to if they inject him with Keith Richards like drugs for the night and he survives. It feels like, hey, we lost the election tonight.
Starting point is 01:30:19 And I think this is where, you know, the constant tension we have between what draws us clicks on our websites and then what actually wins elections and advances public policy. I feel like what draws us clicks kind of won this battle. I think that there are people that are looking at Joe Biden, I think on the other side, both sides. And they see it. And I don't, you know, there would be a lot more viral videos of him having those senior moments. He doesn't have them every day. Agreed. So the chances are he's not going to have one of those tonight.
Starting point is 01:30:54 But there are a lot of people. And this is why I think that it's dangerous for Donald Trump if he performs really well. I mean, if Biden performs really well. Because there are a lot of people that are not paying attention to the news. They are worried about, you know, he's kind of old and the things are on fire. But they really still believe that he's a moderate and that he's the old Joe Biden. If he shows up as the old Joe Biden and sounds like a moderate and Donald Trump doesn't dismantle that,
Starting point is 01:31:26 you could see a very big spike in the polls for Joe Biden. Something that is universally true about elections. And I think one of the great misnomer's is that Donald Trump has uprooted the way that elections and things are decided. And he is not. the cake is all still baked the same. We're talking about all the same demographic groups. We always talk about. We're talking about the same states we always talk about.
Starting point is 01:31:50 The cake is still baked the same. It's just the frosting is zanier. The frosting on top is zanier. It's unicorn frosting. Yes, but the cake is still baked the same. And so along those lines, when elections are about issues, Republicans win. When elections are about personalities, Democrats win. Donald Trump won the last election for two reasons.
Starting point is 01:32:11 Jim Comey delivered a letter to, Congress the week before the election saying, let's code Colombo. I got one more question on Hillary's emails. After Trump had performed poorly in the debates, the one debate he did do well, it was the debate after the NBC tape came out, so it almost didn't count. All right? The election looked like it was over. Comey hit pause on the election. The other reason he won the debate is the number one issue that drove him in his electorate, judicial nominations. If you look at that was the number two overall, most popular issue in the election. Of those that made that their number one issue, true Trump won those voters by 15 points,
Starting point is 01:32:46 okay? Meaning that when he looked in the camera in front of 90 million people four years ago and said, I'm going to appoint justices like Amy Coney Barrett that will vote to overturn Roe, that was the issue that gave people that really were squeamish about voting for such a character, the rationale, the justification, the conviction, whatever word you want to use to say, okay, I know he's going to do that better than Hillary Clinton, so I'm in. He needs to make it about issues tonight and not Joe Biden's dementia. So I, if he does make it about his dimension, it'll be bad.
Starting point is 01:33:13 I agree. I agree. And I think the, the message he needs to send is not just about the Supreme Court. He needs to say, my record speaks for itself. I kept my promises. And I promise this to you. Your country, your city, your neighborhood will be safe. Agreed.
Starting point is 01:33:31 Under my administration. Our economy will come back under my administration. And this nonsense with this Marxist, stuff will end with my administration. If he says those three things, that's where I, that's where I think people live, the economy, safety, and the future. I don't disagree. And I, you know, he has a, he had a very compelling case for re-election prior to March 12th. And then he made one of the worst decisions, I think, that's ever been made in the history of human management, handing the country over to Anthony Fauci and Debbie Burks for four months. And, and by seating that ground, and if you look at
Starting point is 01:34:10 I can tell you for a fact, because I've had sources tell me this. The irony is he handed the country over to Fauci and Burks for four months and let's bedazzle our face shields and shut everything down and all the craziness that we heard from those two. And yet their internal polling at the Trump campaign tells them that the number one weakness they have, and that's why they're weak in places like Arizona, is seniors believe that they left them to die and weren't serious about the virus. okay and he won that group I think by about nine points in 2016 and that's the big group that they have seen a decline with on the COVID issue how about how many points um I've heard it's bad and if you
Starting point is 01:34:49 look at all the internal polling of the of the of the public polls they show that issue as well and that's a difficult needle for him to thread because outside of seniors literally everyone else that would vote for Trump wants their kids back in school wants their lives back suburban women who were all Karen six months ago are now like, I don't want to watch my kids for nine more months, but him back in school. And so that he's got a thread, a needle there where he needs to show that
Starting point is 01:35:15 on one hand, I took this seriously. On the other hand, he can't champion lockdowns, because that turns off a lot of other potential Trump voters that want America to look like Ron DeSantis is Florida right now. I'm curiously because you're talking about threading this needle, and it's an interesting one. He has a difficult,
Starting point is 01:35:30 a difficult job here, I think, to be reelected at all. It's not an easy road. You mentioned something where it's one of the worst decisions we've seen in the history of human management. And I hear that all the time from Republicans and Trump supporters who say the coronavirus thing was terrible, the way it was handled. How do you vote for him if he committed one of the worst?
Starting point is 01:35:59 How does Trump convince people vote for me even though you hate that I shut down in the country for six weeks? This is why he has to make it about issues and not personalities. Is he needs to make, and this is where we can actually tie the dementia into the issues. And, you know, I had an interesting conversation with my mom a couple weeks ago. And she's kind of my one person, moderate swing Democrat voter focus group. They had me at 15, pro-life, but thinks government should do things for people that they can't do for themselves, hates Republicans because they think they're all a bunch of corporate prostitutes who hate single moms like her.
Starting point is 01:36:32 You've been quite a disappointment to her. But we have fascinating conversations because we're really close, so we're very honest with each other. And we had the conversation a couple weeks ago where she said, you know, something's wrong with Joe Biden. And I wonder, because she hates the racialist stuff. She hates that stuff. You know, you got to remember, she's a single mom, worked herself up from nothing, went to college, raised a family. And to hear all this victimology and all this stuff, she doesn't buy into any of that. And so the riots and everything else, she was really mad that Trump didn't call out like literally the Marines and like crush all of these people.
Starting point is 01:37:02 and she said to me the other day we were talking about this and she said, you know, I wonder many times if I'm going to vote for Biden, who's actually president during the day and making the decisions? Because it's not him. And I wonder if it's the people behind
Starting point is 01:37:15 some of these groups that are doing these riots and things in the streets. And I think that's where you can tie those messages together and force Joe Biden to show that he is strong enough to say, no, we're not going to ban fracking.
Starting point is 01:37:29 No, we're not going to you know, toast a glass to Antifa. How is he going to be able to do that? When you look at what he has to, he has to say he's against defunding the police. He has to say he's against all of- So we're talking Joe Biden is the he this time. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:45 He's against the riots that were going on. He is not going to pack the Supreme Court. You know, he has to walk back almost everything he said. How he's going to do that. and remain credible and not have Donald Trump go, wait, but you said, even Chris Wallace might follow up a question, might follow up a question. Yeah, I mean, I give him better odds than Martha Radditz. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:18 I think if both sides do what they're supposed to do in the debate tonight, Donald Trump successfully made the case that America was a pretty good place until March 12th, 2020, that he had done a pretty good job, that, you know, we had seen the last. largest median income of family households growth in this country since 1968, well before I was born. All right? So he wants to make the case that he, of where he took us until March 12, and we're already getting back there.
Starting point is 01:38:45 Look at the jobs report. The end of the month, we're expecting a 30, one major investment house is forecasting a 32% increase in GDP. If he does his job, he's going to make the case. We called timeout on March 12th for an extraordinary circumstance that we, no presidents ever faced. We had to figure it out on the run. And now we're figuring out. We're back on track. And the kids are going back to school. And you're watching Big Ten football and all this kind
Starting point is 01:39:07 of stuff. He wants to make a return to normalcy case. Joe Biden probably wants the entire debate to be about COVID-19. Because if it's about any other issue, any other reason that you would view Joe Biden as, okay, he's a safe Democrat. I don't like what Trump tweets. I don't like the way he behaves. I don't think Biden's a communist. So he's a soft landing for me. He's taking all of those issues off the table. And so he wants to, he wants to, he wants to to make the entire thing about COVID. And I think Trump wants to make the entire thing about anything but COVID if they both are successful tonight in doing what they want to do.
Starting point is 01:39:38 I think Joe Biden is going to have a harder time on COVID than maybe you think, though, because I don't think, as you said, except for that older group, everybody's done with a lockdown thing. And all you have to say is you said you were going to bring a national lockdown, which you can't do constitutionally. but who is for a national lockdown? I think that that will hurt Biden, but God only knows. God only knows.
Starting point is 01:40:08 Okay, let me just take a quick break for our sponsor this half hour. It's Norton. Norton security, what they do is they have a toolbox, and they have a toolbox of all these different things that will help keep your family protected in real time. You have the real time protection tools. like when you're on Wi-Fi, a VPN with bank-grade encryption. That's one tool.
Starting point is 01:40:34 That's a big tool. You need a VPN. But they also have 360 safe cams, which notifies you if someone is hacking into your system and attempting to activate your webcam. They have, you know, all of the usual Norton virus protection that comes in that toolbox. So it's a toolbox that you can add and detract on different things, depending on what you need, but this is the basic and it is the best. No one can prevent all cybercrime, but Norton 360 powerful ally for your cyber safety.
Starting point is 01:41:06 Get up to 50% off your first year with the annual subscription at Norton.com slash Beck. That's Norton.com slash Beck save 50%. 10 seconds, station ID. So, Steve, what do you think about the Rudy Giuliani call today into Fox and Friends talking about the Adderall, you know, that he's probably on and he's an old broken down old man. That's not the Trump strategy, is it? Do you think?
Starting point is 01:41:46 I mean, I don't, I didn't understand this Adderall thing until just last couple of days. Like, why does he want a drug test? What is that? I just don't think that's effective at all. I think, you know, if there's one thing I've learned a lot about the last few years, it's, you know, I know a lot about how to lose to Donald Trump because I was on the campaign. before it came down to him and us and them and we did. Okay?
Starting point is 01:42:10 So one of the things that we, I think, and had to learn this on the fly with him is trolling and strategy and tactics are all the same to him. When you throw stuff out there, if it works, it's a strategy, and then we pursue it as a tactic. If it doesn't work, it was just a troll. And maybe it got you off message, but if not, our own base loved it and glommed onto it
Starting point is 01:42:33 and rallied them, and we just move on to whatever the next jello we're going to move. throw against the wall is. And I think what's made this difficult for guys like the three of us in this room is we are always assuming a deeper meaning and everything. And I think sometimes, you know, John Lennon and I am the walrus, the reason he wrote that song because he had read in the telegraph that a teacher was taking one of the Beatles tunes and teaching it like deeper meanings from it to the class. And he was like, you know, a lot of our songs are just songs about chicks or pot and there's not a deeper meaning. So I,
Starting point is 01:43:07 I am the Walrus is just a series of randomizations that have no meaning that aren't tied together. And for decades, people have tried to figure out what these things mean and they mean nothing. Okay. And I think that's what it's like sometimes when you're up against Donald Trump is they don't mean anything. It's like, hey, it's a good troll throw out there. See what happens. Okay? And like we sit around here at places like this.
Starting point is 01:43:28 We're like, what does that mean? And where's that? It may not mean anything. It may not be going anywhere. Okay. But if it works, it has a lot of meaning. If it doesn't, it has no meaning at all. So I agree with you 100% and I learned that by watching him speak live in front of a crowd.
Starting point is 01:43:42 He'll throw things out and then he watches so carefully. He wants to know who's this appealing to. But he doesn't have a crowd tonight. Is that going to hurt or help him? I think it could go both ways. I think sometimes a crowd may encourage maybe your worst motivations. But I think the number one issue Donald Trump has more than anything else is that there is a group of people out there that should be voting for him given his record until March 12th and given what
Starting point is 01:44:10 Joe Biden represents that just aren't still after four years comfortable with him as a president. And I think more than anything else he needs to come across as President Trump here this evening. And what you saw on Saturday with the announcement of Amy Coney-Barrant, that was extremely presidential, okay? There was even some self-deprecation in there. Okay? And I think what he needs to do is, is, you know, make people comfortable that he can be their president another four years. All right. More on the debate coverage coming up. We're going to talk about polls in the Senate next. All right. I mean, you could have a pair of fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror of your car and hope that brings you luck or put rabbit's foot in the glove compartment.
Starting point is 01:45:10 Tape of four-leaf clover in the trunk or dump some lucky charms in the gas tank. None of those things are going to work. In fact, the gas tank thing would probably work against you on that. Don't use luck to keep your car together. Keep your car together because you're covered with Car Shield. You're going to be able to get the repairs that you need. I mean the big repairs. They will cover all of those big repairs, anything that is under the policy.
Starting point is 01:45:35 You'll be able to have repaired and you're not waiting for a check to come in. You didn't have to come up with the money to pay the mechanic. They pay it for you. Car Shield has covered. Over a million vehicles. They can cover yours as well. Take my word for it. I have Car Shield on two of my trucks, and I beat those trucks.
Starting point is 01:45:53 I mean, they are high miles and hard work. And they've kept them out of the for sale sign or the wrecking yard because CarShield has repaired them. He's going to be joining us tonight along with Stu. Stu, your coverage starts at 8. 8 p.m. Eastern Glenn. We're going to do an hour pre-show.
Starting point is 01:46:44 You can watch the debate with us. We're going to be kind of watching and maybe doing some live fact-checking, maybe a little bit of commentary on Joe Biden's state. Right. We're not going to be. We're not going to. be talking over. It's too important to talk over. We just, you know, we just might make a comment from once in a while. Yeah. Can you mime it? Yeah. We'll be miming it in the quarter of it.
Starting point is 01:47:03 And we're going to, like the Russian judge, you know, we're going to put up numbers like they did at the Olympics. Combinus? Yeah. So that's happening. And then our, our post-election coverage starts officially at 1030. So you can listen to that podcast as well. All that's going to be at the Blaze. You can watch it on YouTube or Stu, Stu, your YouTube page. Yes. If you go to studeau's America.com, you can get the link there. Okay. We have Steve joining us this morning. I want to spend just a couple of seconds because I've been saying recently, America, you better turn to God and pray like you've never prayed before. And I mean that. Pray like your children's lives are at stake because they are.
Starting point is 01:47:47 and I don't think that people understand how close we are to losing. I mean, this is going to be close in the Senate and it's going to be close with the president. I think, to me, I think we've been in a cold civil war here for a couple of years now. And what I mean by that is I think you have a knee
Starting point is 01:48:13 with two joints that have no cartilage between them. And so it is bone on bone. And I don't know how many leftists really don't want to share a country with people like us. I don't know how many of them that will vote for Joe Biden on November the 3rd represent that viewpoint. I just know pretty much all of the ones that are in any kind of cultural influence or leadership position on the other side represent that viewpoint. And we'll push that agenda if given power. They have made that very, very clear. And there is no coexistence.
Starting point is 01:48:46 There is no coexistence. Right. And you have what John Roberts has done in the Supreme Court over the last several years as he's essentially nullified elections. If you vote against open borders, we nullify that. If you vote against Obamacare, we nullify that. There's only so many times. And I said this, the one and only time I'll probably ever be on Brian Stelter show on CNN, was after the near assassination of the mass assassination at the suburban ball field of the GOP congressman. And I told Brian Stelter that Sunday morning, that was almost an Archduke Ferdinand moment for the United States right there.
Starting point is 01:49:16 There's only so many times that you can disenfranchise the people that own all the guns. There's only so many times that you can ban them and cancel them and then not do the same thing to people that make the exact same mistakes wearing your jersey. There's only so many times you can lean on the people who own the guns. Only so many times an ANTFA person can roll up on their table at a restaurant or pick the wrong BLM thugs, pick the wrong city block. There's only so many times before someone says, you know what, someone needs to do something about that and I nominate myself and then fire up the 1812 overture
Starting point is 01:49:47 and we're off. I really believe we're a powder keg and I don't like that. I'm not I'm not supportive of that. I'm not advocating it. I'm just a weatherman giving you a forecast and those are the those are the atmospheric conditions I see. See I think that you're right in the cities and these protests that the wrong people show up and they're going to be deemed on the right even though could be a Nazi. Those are socialists. They don't like the Constitution. They want revolution as well.
Starting point is 01:50:18 But somebody shows up like that and we're off to the races. But I don't think the average person, I think the average person is, I'll fight, and you come to my house, you come on my property. Oh, you damn right. I'll put a bullet in you. But I don't think they are itching to go out and. I agree. They're not seeking it out.
Starting point is 01:50:40 But they are the ones being sought. out. They're the ones being targeted by big tech. They're the ones being rolled up on by marauding mobs of rioters. And sooner or later, they're going to turn down the wrong city block. Sooner, it just, and I think we got to- But I think those are the people that, that Donald Trump, we would be so, we'd be in so much trouble if we didn't have somebody who was actually listening to his constituents. And I mean this, and I, I didn't even believe this. And, and I, I didn't even believe this. And, And in 2016, and I wasn't sure I believed it, until I really watched him, you know, in person, watched him with people. And he is listening.
Starting point is 01:51:24 He is listening, whether it's just so he can say the most popular things or not, but he is listening. And he has something about him that is very American. He might be a grotesque capitalist, if that's what you want to say. But he loves America, and he's not going to hurt America. There are things that connect with those people in the center of the country that I think whether you were a Democrat or a Republican, you're looking for somebody say, enough of this, enough. And for the agent of chaos that he is, he's not the chaos that people are really concerned about. No, I think you have to ask yourself, if you're not a hardened leftist, and if you're thinking of voting for Joe Biden, I think you need to ask yourself two questions. number one the question you have to ask is all the riots all the all the behavior that you have
Starting point is 01:52:18 seen over these last several months what happens if we incentivize that at the ballot box and we teach these people this is how you win in america you won't get less of it you'll get more that's number one you're incentivizing this understand that and own it don't lie to yourself if you vote for him you are incentivizing this behavior and more of it more of this revolution in the streets the second thing you have to ask yourself is this who's calling the shots all day long? Who's running the country? What's his cabinet look like?
Starting point is 01:52:48 Who are his Supreme Court nominees going to be? What's his brain trust going to be? Because he's going to need, even if the best case scenario of his mental state, he's going to need a strong hand in his cabinet. Who are those people going to be? Ask yourself that question. Who's making the decisions every day if you vote for Joe Biden? I think if you're going in there thinking about it,
Starting point is 01:53:08 you need to answer those two questions for yourself. You know, it's funny because those same questions were asked of George W. Bush, and that's why he introduced Colin Powell and everybody else during the campaign where Joe Biden won't answer. Who's going to introduce Susan Rice? Right. I mean, I mean, that's the problem is all the infrastructure. You may be a Democrat because you're a union person and you hate corporate America and corporatism, and you've got a friend and me. I'm no fan of it myself. Me too. Me too. But understand that the people that are going to make the decisions aren't Democrats like you. They're the ones that are in academia.
Starting point is 01:53:44 They're the ones that put this Anola Holmes movie on Netflix this week. I watch with my daughters. And it's about Sherlock Holmes sister. The mother is a proto-feminist, Antifa, domestic terrorist, with like munitions and explosives to blow up London in order to force women's suffrage and abandons her daughter at 16 and is held up as this is a heroic act. So, quote, she can find her own path. I'm not making it up that is exactly.
Starting point is 01:54:11 exactly in the film. That is not the review I've heard from somebody else because I haven't watched it yet, been anxious to watch it. That's what the movie is about. And her trying to reunite with this proto-antefate terrorist feminist mom of hers. These are the people that are calling the shots if he wins. And you need to ask yourself this question. And I get it.
Starting point is 01:54:32 I want, dude, I spent every day of six months of my life trying to defeat Donald Trump and have the scars to prove it. And it took me a long time to get over this. Okay? But you have to ask yourself this question. Do you dislike his tweets? Because I have to mute him on Twitter. I can't read most of his tweets. They annoy the hell out of me.
Starting point is 01:54:48 Do you dislike his tweets enough to hand the country over to people who, that's their narrative, to the people that you're watching the disruption and the revolution in the streets? Because if you reward them for this at the ballot box, you're not going to get less of this. You're going to get more. I feel as though we are doing the same thing we did, however, with Barack Obama. We're making the same case. You've, no, you have to listen. Look at the facts.
Starting point is 01:55:20 Look at what's really going on. Nobody cared. Then with Donald Trump, we happen to be wrong, but that's what we were saying. Don't go with your feelings. Go with the facts. What do you actually know? Here's a difference for those two situations. You mean, John McCain, except for about three months after he became the Republican nominee,
Starting point is 01:55:41 has spent a lot of his time in the Senate, frankly, agreeing more with Barack Obama than people like us. And then spent his time when he went back to the Senate agreeing more with Barack Obama than people like us. I mean, I mean, the last debate, go count the amount of times Mitt Romney said, I agree to Barack Obama. It's like a dozen or something, all right? This time, there is a clear contrast.
Starting point is 01:56:00 This time, the other guy has a record of what he's actually done, right? We know what policies he will do. So we know that there is a market difference, already actionable differences, between what the country will look like if he is in charge compared to the other guy. And it's going to look like the way it looked on March 11th compared to what it's looked like the last few months in the streets of a lot of urban America. What about the old saying people are more comfortable with what they know? I actually heard somebody say, you know, I didn't vote for Trump the first time around, but, and I don't dislike Joe Biden. Biden, but I don't know. It's better to stick with what you got and what you know.
Starting point is 01:56:42 That's why it's hard to be an incumbent president, Glenn. I mean, they've won re-election in America historically 70% of the time. It is rare to beat a sitting president. It's very difficult to do because of what you just said and the gravitas that goes along with the, with everything, the mass bureaucracy, everything that turns over when you change horses midstream like that. All right. Back in just a second. So I want to talk to you a little bit about relief factor. I have to tell you, I put my back out, the thoracic part of my back, about, what was it, over the weekend, it's been coming on for a while, and I did something and I just threw it out. Oh, my gosh, the pain is so bad. I'm glad I broadcast in the morning because by night I can barely breathe.
Starting point is 01:57:35 and relief factor keeps me out of most pain, except for stuff like this that just happened. And I've been taking it because it does reduce inflammation. I can't imagine what it would be like without the anti-inflammatory medication that I'm taking with relief factor right now. There is something about relief factor that really works. And it doesn't work. I take ibuprofen. It doesn't work.
Starting point is 01:58:04 It's a joke. At least for me, might work for you. You know, I even tried the hard stuff. I'd be profen 800. Slow down, Doc. If you have real pain and it's due to inflammation,
Starting point is 01:58:18 I want you to try relief factor. Relieffactor.com. Call 800, 500, 583,84. 800, 5803.84. It's relief factor. dot com. So, let me pass.
Starting point is 01:58:44 let me pass a thought by you. Okay. I think tonight Joe Biden is, he's going to do COVID. This president killed a whole bunch of people. Mm-hmm. But I think he's also, they were hoping at least. And I think they're going to try to Joe Biden just use the New York Times report as the way to get under Donald Trump's skin. and try to
Starting point is 01:59:14 because the way they're, it's been interesting to watch the report on his taxes that you're talking about, the way that's been promoted by the media. Remember, they have his tax returns because he doesn't pay any taxes. He's cheating. That was the promise.
Starting point is 01:59:28 That was the promise. And Russia. We're going to put a lot of stuff in Russia, which they didn't find. That, you know, Deutsche Bank came over. We'd give you money from Russia. All of that stuff was promised. None of that, what a surprise, came true.
Starting point is 01:59:42 But what, they're spinning it now as is a indictment on Donald Trump, how he's such a bad businessman. He's actually broke. Yeah, that's different than what I would have expected. I expected them to say he's using all these tax tricks to get rid of his tax liability and therefore he's paying no taxes, right? And he's really, really super rich. That's not what they're saying.
Starting point is 02:00:07 What they're saying is he is so bad at running his businesses. that he's losing tens of millions of dollars a year. And the only reason he's been able to keep afloat this whole time is because of the apprentice money. He made $400 plus a million off the apprentice. Smart. Really smart. I mean, we've talked about this a little bit off the air.
Starting point is 02:00:26 His deal with NBC was 50% of the profits of the show. Nobody else would get that. That's incredible. Of the show. Incredible. Nobody gets set. So he made $400 million plus another couple hundred million on endorsements and lending his name to buildings and all those things that he does.
Starting point is 02:00:40 We all know that's part of his business. What they're saying is every time he buys a golf resort, he's losing money like crazy because he's actually terrible at doing that. Which if you're losing money in business, you write off and thus I pay no taxes because I'm losing so much money. So it's interesting. They're not saying he's cheating on his taxes. They're saying he's so bad as a business person that he's really losing tens of millions of dollars on this money and that's canceling out his payments from the apprentice. Because I am absolutely convinced whatever they accuse Donald Trump of doing, they're doing. So they're like, we're all cheating on our taxes.
Starting point is 02:01:17 So he's got to be cheating on his. They got the taxes. They didn't find that. They needed an angle. And the angle they're using is he's actually a broke businessman. They're trying to undermine his strongest suit. Right. That's he still, Trump always does well with the economy.
Starting point is 02:01:33 Even after the COVID thing and we've had this crash, people believe he's good at running the economy. they're trying to undermine that with the tax thing. And not his honesty. I wouldn't be surprised if you heard a comment from Joe Biden about he's just a bad business man. He's broke. He's not some rich billionaire. He's broke. He's doing the same, you know, to our country or whatever, something like that.
Starting point is 02:01:57 If Donald Trump is smart, he will say, well, maybe. But at least I've created jobs. You know, you've had one. one job. You've, this guy got into office. He will not say maybe, by the way. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 02:02:12 This guy got into office when, when Nona Ryder was born. She's had a career, lost her career, and has a second career now. Yeah. Yeah, no, it's true. I think they will try to frame it as,
Starting point is 02:02:28 Hey, Don, either you're losing tens of millions of dollars in, from all of your businesses, or you are, are lying on your taxes. And I think his response will be, it's all fake. The fact that the Times cannot
Starting point is 02:02:44 release these documents leaves them in a position that no one can confirm what the time is saying is true. And they can't release it because whoever gave it to the Times they're going to know. They committed a crime. Now they could easily reproduce these, right, in a way so we could see all of it without the
Starting point is 02:03:00 actual documents. Like here's an interactive sheet. This is what it looks like. They could do lots of things. haven't done that, which leaves it open to, I think a lot of people will just believe they made it up. Now, there's a lot of detail in there. I don't think they necessarily did that, but it's going to be easy for him to say, look, this is fake. You can prove it. Show me. You know what I mean? Show me the documents. Tell me who your source was. Yeah. You can't. And they can't. You guys have been after me over and over and over again. But I think they're going to,
Starting point is 02:03:27 I think they're going to go after him as not a good businessman because Biden needs him to be personally pissed off and fly off the handle. Is the Glenn Beck program.
