I think Kamala Harris was the one that Stu and I were worried about. at the beginning because we thought she was the most likable. It turns out she's not the most likable. In fact, she's very unlikable. Her unpopularity outside

of the core Democratic base is unbelievable. Harris collapsed in the presidential polls. She went from, she was tied to second place at 15 percent and she was in low double digits by September.

Her favorability was way underwater with independence with 33 unfavorable to 29 favorable. She was never above water there. And there's a reason for it. She is, she is very, very strident. She is, she is somebody who is a cop, seems to be pro cop, but I don't know how that's going to help her. I worry about that because I think that helps her with the people who are independent or the Democrats who are worried about this insanity that is going on in our streets. But she also has some real, real issues. Let me go to cut one.

This is her as the attorney general, and she's talking about how she brought charges to people. who were whose children were truant at school. And this was about a single homeless mother of three. She was working two jobs and listen to what Kamala said and listen to the glee she has in her voice. We created what we call the DA mediation program where we assigned prosecutors to go and sit with the administrators and principals when they met with all the parents. And frankly, you know the prosecutors in my office who volunteered to do this? My homicide prosecutors. My gang prosecutors.

And they went over there and I said, when you go over there look really mean. And so they did. And invariably the parents said, well, who's the mean looking dude? And the principal would say, well, that's someone that mean DA Kamala Harris sent over here because she said she's going to start prosecuting you if we can't work this out. and through that initiative we found cases like the case of the woman who was by herself raising her three children holding down two jobs and homeless

she just needed some help but by shining this infrared spotlight of public safety on the fact that her children aren't in school we were able to figure that out when she said she just needed help she just needed to be threatened by a big scary uh officer of the law and threatened to put her in jail she she loves jail for some people and doesn't love jail for other people here she is on ice the clan was a what we would call today a domestic terrorist group Why? Why would we call the domestic terrorist group?

Because they tried to use fear and force to change political environment. And what was the motivation for the use of fear and force? It was based on race and ethnicity. Right. Are you aware of the perception of many about how the power and the discretion at ICE is being used to enforce the laws? And do you see any parallels? I do not see any parallels between I'm talking about perception. I'm talking about perception.

I do not see a parallel between what is constitutionally mandated as it relates to enforcing the law. Are you aware that there's a perception? Let's move on. Here she is on race again with Joe Biden on busing. Do you remember this?

Do you agree today that you were wrong to oppose busing in America? No. Do you agree? I did not oppose busing in America. What I opposed is busing ordered by the Department of Education.

That's what I oppose. Well, there was a failure of states to integrate public schools in America. I was part of the second class to integrate Berkeley, California, public schools, almost two decades after Brown v. Board of Education. Because your city council made that decision. It was a local decision. So that's where the federal government must step in. That's why we have the Voting Rights Act.

Okay, so she was accusing him of being a racist, but she also has accused him of being somebody who has sexually assaulted women. Here she is on believing the accusers against Biden. I believe them and I respect them being able to tell their story and having encouraged to do it. Do you believe that the vice president should act for this race? Oh, he's going to have to make that decision from himself. I wouldn't tell him what to do. But now she'll stand by him even though she believed the accused.

users. And then, of course, we remember the Jesse Smollett attack that was completely bogus, and here's what she said. Which tweet? What tweet? About saying that it is a modern day lynching, that, sorry, Jesse Smollett. Okay, so I will say this about that case. I think that the facts are still unfolding. And I'm very concerned about obviously. We dropped the audio. There was more to that. But anyway, we all know what she said.

She was backing Jesse Smollett. As we know, that was complete fabrication on his part. So here you have a woman who I'm not sure who the appeal is supposed to be for. Is she the culture warrior that she sometimes seems she is? Is she the cop? Because the people who like her, you know, all in Medicare for all culture cop. The people who like that don't like the fact that she was a cop, you know, a cop, the top cop. And the Medicare people don't like the top cop thing.

And the people who like the top cop thing don't like her socialist and cancel culture attitude. So where is the appeal here? I'm not sure, but I think it was a safe pick for him only because 50% of the Democratic voters believe that Joe Biden will not finish his first term. That is incredible. That shows you how much they hate Donald Trump, that they will vote for a guy who they don't think can finish his term. So he needed somebody that everybody knew that he that had some kind of real experience in government. At the time, I think, for the independence to be able to say, no, no, no, we've got an attorney general here. We've got somebody who knows about the law and can get this thing under control.

And somebody that people would feel comfortable with, all the while, you'll be. notice how many times stories are started now with historic pick. It's a historic pick because you're going to start hearing the possibility of Joe Biden not making it from the mainstream media. You're going to start hearing that because it will be another Barack Obama. It will be a historic win. Now, the one thing that you should know is that she's always cast herself, I hate to use that word, but she has always cast herself as an Indian, an Indian whose father was Jamaican. She for a long time was not African American. She was an Indian. Now you don't really even hear that. But it's kind of a hard sell because in India they have

a caste system and the Brahmins are the very top. So she is in India. Her family would be the oppressor. So she's kind of got that going for her. as well. If I were Barack Obama, I mean, sorry, if I were Donald Trump, the first thing I would do is I would reach out to Carmen Best. Carmen Best is the Seattle Chief of Police that I think was very reasonable. I'm sure she's a progressive. I mean, she's in Seattle. So I'm sure she's a progressive, et cetera, et cetera. But I think she actually cares. about law and order. And I would reach out to Carmen Best. I don't really even care about the vice presidential role, but Donald Trump needs a strategy for the inner cities.

And I think Americans and independents look at Carmen Best and say, she was at least reasonable and bring her in and make her some sort of a, oh, geez, some sort of a czar, some, some sort of. of a community outreach that can work with these cities that are under siege and bring her into the fold because he needs to have a strategy for law and order because that's I think the only thing that she that that Kamala Harris brings beside the fact that she you know she doesn't like you know she doesn't like Catholics she she also think that abortion should be on demand at any time.

She was the first prosecutor to use California eavesdropping laws against a journalist. She's the one that brought the lawsuit against the journalist that got the tapes of Planned Parenthood selling body parts. That was her that got the charges brought against him. She believes that pro-lifers should be treated like segregationists. She has argued this publicly. You know, 70% of Americans believe that there should be restrictions on abortion, but she says they're acting outside. Anybody who wants to do that as acting outside the bounds of democratic legitimacy?

She called the Knights of Columbus extremists. Wow. So how is she going to unite? Well, she might be able to unite on the fact that she doesn't like gun owners, pro-lifers, homeschoolers, traditional religions, because they all have reason to fear persecution in an administration where she has sway. And I do believe she will be the next president. I can't believe there's a group of people that want to elect somebody that they, at the top of the ticket that they believe is out. but apparently that's enough for some people. Bernie supporters don't like him.

Bernie, of course, has sold. I mean, he sold his soul. But the press secretary for Sanders? No. We're in the midst of the largest protest movement in American history, the subject which is excessive policing. And the Democratic Party chose a top cop, the author of the Joe Biden crime bill to save us from Trump.

The contempt for the base is, wow. Michael Tracy said Biden's selection is nightmarishly bad pick in every way. Kamala's presidential campaign was a total humiliating disaster, one of the worst of all time. Considering the amount of unearned hype she received, did everybody miss that or what? Jordan Charidan said another progressive left. Well, there you have it. Joe Biden gives the middle finger to progressives, Black Lives Matter protesters,

black voters under the age of 50, status coup, co-founder, Jordan Charitin. Biden's going with a strategy, brilliant move of picking somebody for VP who's despised by both the right and the left. Another progressive. This is when everyone

who either said that they would never vote for Bernie in the general election or argued that he could never win because he's a social Jew will attack anyone criticizing Harris for strategic or moral reasons as handing the election to Trump. If you look at some of them, for instance, Corey Bush in Missouri, what is happening to Missouri? Nobody ever heard of her until she was a, Black Lives Matter street activist on the front lines of Ferguson. And then she started calling, she started something called the Truth Telling Project to help

advocate for reparations. Now she claims to be a pastor, but we've looked for evidence of her church, the kingdom embassy international. We can't find in a single address for its location. She was quoted in the Toledo Blade in January saying, Mike Brown happened. the ministry started right there in the streets and that became my ministry. So I guess Black Lives Matter is her religion, which I guess is consistent at least with the left. And the street protests and the riots are her church services.

But she has been a member of the St. Louis Democratic Socialists of America. she headlines events at a place called the St. Louis Education Society. That is the headquarters of the Communist Party USA. She pals around with Angela Davis. And she's not the only one. The Democrats have lost their minds and lost their soul to, I can't believe I'm saying this, actual communists. And we have more on this. and some of the results from last night coming up.

And the idea that the media seems to think that Biden shows her to help with the black vote, which is not what is happening here at all. No. We'll get into that. He doesn't need help with a black vote. No. He beat that crap out of her in the primary with black voters. Yeah.

He's fine with black voters. She does. She can bring in a lot of cash, though. That is one thing people are overlooking. And we're going to get into all the details on that tonight. So how do you think this? you think this was a good choice

you know I mean I think it's a safe choice it shows that he thinks he's ahead and he doesn't need to shake it up all that much I think he's not taking a huge risk here is that she's already gone through this very recently she you know I think it's you know as I said back when I think we said this on the year a bunch of times

what you have and what you could beat up on over the in the primary is what you put in your ads during the general. And she was beat up on her prosecutorial record and that she was kept putting people in prison. And that's the type of thing that now with half the Democratic Party wanted to defund the police is going to be something they're going to play up. And all of a sudden her prosecutorial record will be important. And it's one of those things she's not going to be running from at all anymore. That'll be kind of an interesting thing to play out. You know, I think it was probably the.

choice he needed to make, especially when he eliminated 95% of the population by saying he had to go with a woman and then a woman of color and then really a black woman. You had about 6% of the population. I take out kids. You're probably about 4% of the population to choose from. And she really was the only, I mean, Val Demings. Like, no one's even heard of the person before Carrot. Bass? He put himself into a corner where there was no one else he could really. choose because if 50% of the Democrats believe that he's not going to finish his term, you have to have somebody that has experience that Americans can look at and go, yeah, I could, okay, I could see her as president.

Yeah. And, and, you know, she was already there, right? And, you know, she definitely, look, she had major problems in her campaign, but she was also one of only three or four Democrats that ever popped at all. You know, she was every, you know, there was Elizabeth Warren, her, Buttigieg had a little bit of a run and Biden was there the whole time and of course Bernie. Outside of that, I mean, there was really no other people that, you know, that made any dent in that field and she was one of them. Yeah. Okay. Let me, let me tell you that's tonight on Stu does America. You

this, give a glimpse of what we have uncovered. You know, this reminds me of what's about to happen in January 2021. So just in a few months, reminds me a lot about 1994 in July, July 1944, the United Nations Monetary and Financial Conference. We now know that as the Bretton Woods Conference. But it makes me think if you would have been broadcasting on radio back in 1944 and you had said, hey, I just got information about what's about to happen. The global international monetary system is about to change. And members of the UN, CEOs, the global financially and the political elite are all meeting in New Hampshire to rechange all the rules, to reset everything.

You probably would have been laughed out of broadcasting. Well, that is... Hang on. I would have been. I would have been. And I probably would have been kind of okay with it back in 1944 because America one. You know, when we did Bread and Woods, that was America gaining all of the power and financial muscle. What's happening this January is the exact opposite of that. The exact opposite. So now,

since they elevated the United States in 44, now they want to put the United States down at the bottom, or actually they want everyone, I guess, in the middle, which was, which basically means further down in the middle for them is further down the ladder on the bottom. That's what's going on. They're calling it the Great Reset. And the things that I've seen on this is outright scary.

You're going to hear a lot of things that are going to start coming out pretty soon. They're going to call them stakeholder, quote unquote, capitalism. Some people are calling it progressive capitalism. But what it is is national socialism. It's national socialism. And the UN is pushing this.

They've been pushing this all the way you mentioned agenda 21. They change that to agenda 2030. Some people laugh that off. We're like, there's no way they could pull this off. Well, the Great Reset implements everything that they've set on Agenda 21, Agenda 2030 to fuse private businesses with government institutions, to fuse them together. I mean, that's national socialism. That's what it is. That's their plan. The organizations that they put in charge at the UN will now be weaponized. They'll now be given, you know, a law type, you know, authority so that they can enforce this stuff. It's crazy.

And it will mean the end of the dollar and the supremacy of the dollar. It will be the end of capitalism as we know it. The reason why they don't care about the small businessman. They only care about the global giant corporations. And those giant corporations will play ball with this. They did in German. with national socialism. The difference between communism and national socialism is one is workers of the world unite.

And we're going to take all of the companies and all private property and we're going to hold it as the government until everybody calms down and everybody's on board and then we're just going to share everything. Well, that never happens. National socialism doesn't say workers of the world unite and really mean it like. we're all going to share. It is a hybrid where the government tells the corporations what to do, how to behave, what to manufacture, picks all of the winners and losers. And they never say, we're going to give it all to the people. They say, we're going to share it with the people.

But when they say the people, they really mean government. That is the people. The government is the people. the government is the people. And all of this is coming your way and going to be decided by, are we going through in this episode all of the people that are involved who are going to be sitting at that table? Because it's stunning. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, everyone. And that's when you think, oh, Glenn, Beck, this is never going to happen.

You know, they wouldn't have the power to pull this off. I want to with some of the people we call out, members of the IMF, members of the European Central Bank. I mean, think about just the IMF, and we talked about Bretton Woods. Bretton Woods was, that's where they created the IMF. Now you have that group at the head of the table supporting this, saying, oh, yeah, we're going to get this done. The people that are involved in this is the top of the top of the top of the food shine in both politics, business, everything, they're all on board. It's really, it's stunning. And it's stunning to me how many Americans in our government and how many Americans in business.

top of the food chain of global American corporations are in and have been in on this for a while. And I think it goes to event 201. I mean, all of these things just dovetail. There's no way this is a coincidence. They all dovetail. Yeah, it really is amazing. You and I have had long conversations on just trying to see who are all the people that are involved and all the different people that are connected. You know, we did these shows, not even thinking about who might be connected over the past several months.

But we did the show on Event 2-1. We're like, that's kind of weird that, you know, the same people involved in Gen 21, 10, 2030, they were there. You know, that's kind of strange. You know, and who's this group that was bankrolling them, the World Economic Forum? Who are they? This is kind of strange. The forced recession. You know, that's kind of strange.

Why would they think that they could just force us into recession? That's never happened before. There's no precedent for that. All of the same people connected, everything, marching towards what I, believe is going to happen in just a few months in January. And this is the real reason why they hate Donald Trump. The reason why the, I believe, the, you know, the head guy of, what was it, MI5 or MI6?

I can never remember which one's the international spy. Is it six? Am I, five. Am I, my six, yes. MI6. So the head guy of MI6, he's, he's giving information through back channel. and helping with the impeachment and all of the stuff with Russia, he's helping. You have the Italians helping.

Why? Because there is a plan and it's in place. And Donald Trump stands in the way. So do the people in England. They stand in the way. That's why they were so against Brexit. It's going in the wrong direction. and and it will happen.

It will happen. And it will only be somebody like Donald Trump and quite honestly you that have a chance to stop it. But you have to know the language. You have to know what to listen for. You're going to start hearing people all over talk about the great reset. Well, it's time. We got to have a great reset. We got to reset this whole thing.

California and I think this applies to every school district all around the country. She's a teacher. She is joining us now. We're not going to get into any other details because this is how hostile of an environment it is now to speak out if you're a teacher. Welcome to the program and thank you for your courage. Thank you. Thank you so much for having me on.

You're welcome. So tell me what happened to you just a few weeks ago that made you say, wait, wait, hold it. What's happening now? Well, to be honest with you, the wait, wait, hold on what is happening has been over a decade in the making. So just specifically a couple weeks ago, I started noticing, you know, I'm watching the news and it's all about race. And they stopped using the term civil rights. and they started using the term critical theory. And I went, what is critical theory?

Which I think a lot of the country is going, okay, I mean, it's probably just kind of of research there's been more research done. Well, it didn't sit right with me. So I listened to a couple podcasts about it. I did my own research online. And I found out it's founded by Karl Marx. Red flag, red flag. Okay.

Literally. It's safe. Yeah. Uh-huh. Facts, data. and the scientific method are a white concept. So if you use facts and data to just prove an argument against a black or an oppressed person, you are proving you are racist because, again, facts and data are, quote, false whiteness.

So they will- I want to reiterate critical race theory. It holds, and I'm quoting, data, facts and the scientific method are white. and inherently racist. Therefore, if you use data to disprove an oppressed person's narrative, you are proving your ties to racism by using facts. It is... So this is why we can't have conversations, because as soon as you say, well, you know,

I hear you on the police thing. I hear you on the shootings. But let's talk about black on black crime, which exponentially has a higher death rate. That person would say, well, you're false. You're using facts. my feelings are worth more, which is craziness to me. So that was the first huge red flag, okay? So then I dug a little deeper.

Capitalism is racist also because it was developed by whites and does not force racial equity. So these are the foundational principles of critical theory. I about fell off my chair. So I've been feeling really passionate about just getting this out here, but I mean, I knew it was kind of creeping into the educational system. I hadn't seen that term used yet, but I've seen little things like that happening. So anyway, a couple weeks ago, the week before school starts, we have to have a training. And I noticed that the training is on race.

And I'm thinking, oh, man, I'm in California. They better handle this well, right? I open up the training and right across the top it says critical race theory. Glenn, I wanted to quit on a spot Or go on a crusade Or text all my friends I have their kids in public school Just like, get out now

I cannot believe what I'm seeing But of course I want to read through it Give them the benefit of the doubt Because maybe the people who developed this Don't know what critical theory is So here are the main points that they taught us Now this is in the training This is in the training document

for California teachers. Okay. Not all California teachers, but I can tell you that it is endorsed by the California Department of Education, the California School Board Association, the Association of California School Administrators, Bay Area Schools,

the California Conservation Corps, and a bunch of other districts who have hired them to train teachers, okay? And you are not in a small school district in California. So it's a, it's a large number. I'm in a small-ish district, small enough to where I'm nervous, but I'm going to be identified. So people, people know me, so I'd rather, you know, stay anonymous. But yeah, yeah, okay, okay.

It's called epic education. You can go on their website and look everything up. Here are their main points. Oaning property is whiteness. Must be abolished. So no one should own property. Okay. White people will only help a black person if it is in their own self-interest.

That to me, I mean, let's just flip that back. A black person will only help a white person if it is in their own self-interest. If you said that, you'd be called a racist up and down, but if you flip the color of the skin of the person you're talking about, you're a compassionate person. Right. And because, and because, of critical race theory, you defending that by saying flip that around proves that you are a racist. Exactly. Exactly. That's why we're not getting anywhere. That's why we can't agree to disagree. That's why we can't talk about the real issues of what's going on. That's why we can't talk about, I mean, I am a white female teacher, and I have had reverse racism against me multiple times in my own classroom. I walk on eggshells around my students of

color because I want to make sure that they know that I love them, that I care about them, that I want them to succeed because I've had more experiences than I can count where if a black student doesn't get the grade they want, they're storming my door. I've been cussed out. I've been almost fired. Parents have gone to the superintendent to try to get me out. Even when I have documentation proving why that student got the grade that they got, nope, it's because you're white.

it's because you're white. And I'm going, if I said that about you, I'd be thrown in jail. It's just insane. So, okay, the other points are racism is inherent with all white people from birth. They can't help it, and they are unaware of it. Racism is permanent. So in my mind, if they believe it's permanent, why are we talking about it? Why are we trying to solve it?

Well, it's permanent in white people. people. Yes. Well, and I'm a Christian. I believe we all have sin, right? But to say that your sin is that you are racist just because you're white, it takes the individuality out of it and just, you know, this is a group sin. I don't care if you've been a kind of person to every black person that you've ever met. I'm telling you, I've gone way out of my way to make sure that they feel loved. And not that I'm perfect. I'm sure that I've screwed up many times. But to say, just because you're white, you were racist. It is exactly what caused, it's exactly what caused or allowed slavery to happen. Exactly. Exactly. We said, blacks are different. They're different than us.

They have some sin or some mark or whatever, and that's, they can never achieve. Yeah, that's how you, that's how you do it. Because your skin is dark, you are going to be my slave because you're not as intelligent as me. You know what I mean? All of these things, I mean, it just flipped the other way. It's just amazing. So there's a couple more. Children should be raised by a tribe, not a nuclear family with two parents.

So that's where you see parental rights being taken away slowly in school. So that's what I mean by this has been a slow kind of fade away from, I mean, don't talk to your parents about, you know, if you feel like you have homosexual feeling. Don't talk to your parents if you feel like you're a boy and you're really a girl. And teachers will tell you, and to some extent, I agree there is a safety thing with parents at home because you don't know how parents are going to react to that. There might be abuse going on there. But in this training, they actually said, do not talk to your parents about this because they might not be enlightened enough to realize their own racism within them.

So let's just see this between us. Yes. And I've been reading articles. an article and article now about teachers being worried because now we're all at home learning that parents, when they get their curriculum at home, they're going to go, wait. My kids being taught this and they're going to be outed. So I have a tweet thread from Matthew K. He's a teacher. So this fall, virtual class discussions will have many potential spectators, parents, siblings, etc., in the same room. We'll never be quite sure who's overhearing the discussions. What does this do for

our equity inclusion work. How much have students depended on the somewhat secure barriers of our physical classrooms to encourage vulnerability? How many of us have installed some version of what happens here stays here? Well, conversations about race are in my wheelhouse and remain a concern with a no-wall's environment. I am most intrigued by the damage of the helicopter snowplow parents who can do honest conversations about gender and sexuality.

I mean, conservative, he goes on conservative parents are my chief concern. Yes. I mean, they're threatened, yes. And the thing is, is, you know, this is America. We should be able to have these hard conversations. I strongly agree with this. I strongly disagree with it. And that's what we've lost.

It's no longer, let's hear both sides, which is actually in this training, we want to talk about the counter story. And they give the example of, well, we're tearing down. the monuments because George Washington was a slave owner. The real story is, you know, he owned slaves who didn't really deserve to be, you know, in history and all the thing. So, okay, what about the counter-narrative about reverse racism? You know, we can't, we can't talk about both sides, and their whole point is,

let's talk about the other side. It's just unbelievable to me. So tell me how many other teachers feel this way like you do, that you're just, you You've seen the slow boil, but now you realize this thing is boiling over. It's teaching now dangerous things. It's become a cult. And you're in it. Are there teachers that agree with you, or are you in the minority?

What? Oh, I am definitely in a very small minority. I reached out to a few of my colleagues after this training, because it was all on Zoom. And you have to be really careful. I texted them, hey, how did you feel about that training that we just did? And every single one of them called me and said, why you ask? Because they didn't want to put it in writing. They didn't want, they wanted to know why I wanted to know.

They wanted to know if I was a safe person to talk to. And I just kind of phrased it like, you know, there were a couple things that jumped out at me. Like, I would only help a black person if it was in my own self-interest. That rubbed me the wrong way. and owning property is a white idea and no one should own property. Like that didn't sit right with me. And as soon as I said that, a bunch of them opened up going, yeah, this was garbage, but they couldn't put their finger on why.

They just knew that there would be little bullet points in here that, oh, that didn't really sit with me. Because, again, especially on the Zoom call that we had where we had the actual training speaking to us, it's all about compassion. It's all about why wouldn't you want to listen to? steps or black students, why wouldn't you want to support them more? So they're phrasing it that, I mean, if you're just unaware that you've been hurting them for decades. So let's talk about that.

Let's root that out. But again, the scary part was they never actually defined what critical theory is, which talks about, like I said in the beginning, the scientific method is false. Capitalism doesn't force equity. So this is communism. and it says right there it's developed by Carl Marks. But again, to go back to your question, there are people in my district,

but, I mean, I just talked to them on the phone the other night, and they all said, I can't believe you're even going on the Glenn Beck show because I would be terrified. I mean, we don't even go to each other are at my district. I commend you for your courage, and we all have to understand that freedom is not free, and this is our,

generations battle. We are going to lose it unless people have the courage to stand up. I encourage any teacher that is experiencing these kinds of things to call in. We will protect your identity, but your voice must be heard, even if it is augmented like it is now. Your voice must be heard. People have got to start talking about it and letting others know they're not alone. thank you again and I

If you're going to take, if you're going to teach them that the community is really their parent and not their parents and that their parents don't know stuff because they're not enlightened, you're not going to get away with that for very long unless the parent is trapped. Well, Governor Newsom is trapping parents. into these schools now.

You were just hearing from a teacher who had the mandatory training of critical race theory. That is Marxism. And we've just posted this on glenbeck.com. so you'll be able to find what she had to go through, what the training was all about. If you miss that interview, it's pretty frightening. This is happening in California,

but I can guarantee you the seeds are everywhere. And as I said before the break, there comes a time when you have to just be, the mask has to come off. You can only go so far. Then the mask has to come off. Well, with the great reset that it, is coming. The mask has come off. And now they are saying, yeah, we're Marxist. And yeah, we think all

white people are racist. And yeah, we think that's what needs to be taught. And yeah, owning property is racist. All of this stuff. Well, when you get to that point, you have to trap kids in. This is why all over the country, the really progressive states are now trying to cut the funding for any kind of charter school. They're making it difficult for any other private schools to reconvene. They want everybody in the public school system. And in California, they've gone even further. They're fining people and giving parents penalties if you hire a tutor. Carl DeMaio is the chairman of Reform California. He's the host of the DeMio report. He used to have a show on 600 Kogo, which is which is outside.

I mean, it's in San Francisco. I can't imagine having these points of views in San Francisco and the headache that you must have had there, Carl. Welcome to the program. Tell me what the governor is doing and how you stop it. Well, just real quick, I'm still on radio in San Diego, which is AM 600 Kogo. But I can tell you right now, even San Diego is drifting farther to the left. because, you know, frankly, Republicans in California have not been fighting back. They've allowed Democrats like Kamala Harris to take over our state politics without much of a fight.

AB5, this law that they passed and went into effect earlier this year, basically bans independent contractors. You're not allowed to hire, you know, an accountant. You're not allowed to hire a graphic designer. You're not allowed to hire anyone under an independent contract. They must be a full-time employee. And the reason why the Democrats are trying to implement AB5 is that, number one, they ultimately want you to be in a union because the government unions and the trade unions will bankroll Democrat political campaigns with the dues of the members.

But they also want the tax revenue. When you're an employee versus an independent contractor, you have to pay payroll tax, unemployment insurance, workers' compensation. You have to make all sorts of filings with the government. And you also are subject to labor law. And the Democrats have done an extraordinary job making labor law so complicated that the plaintiff attorneys out there, which who are Democrats and contribute to Democrats, can shake down small businesses with frivolous lawsuits. And so this is part of a larger plan, Glenn, to really take over every means of production. in the economy by getting everyone classified as a full-time employee.

And I'm telling you, I talk to independent contractors. They don't want to be employees. They like the idea of working their own hours, their own hours, flexibility, innovation. They get to pursue their passion. An event planner wants to do event planning, whereas if they get a full-time job at a corporation, they may only be able to do event planning a third of the time or a quarter of the time because, frankly, the company doesn't need more than that. So this is really bad for workers.

It's bad for business. And the only people who benefit from it besides the trial attorneys are Democrat politicians who get campaign contributions and higher taxes. So who authored AB5? AB5 was authored by a former labor union leader, Lorena Gonzalez, who is now in the state assembly. And this is very unusual. But Joe Biden, running for president, took time out of his campaign three weeks ago to tweet his support for 85, this little-known state law in California. And so to your point that you made at the opening, absolutely,

this is going to happen nationwide if Joe Biden is elected president. Every single independent contractor needs to think twice about this election because you can talk to people here in California who are Democrats. I'm talking about musicians, event planners, drivers. Drivers. They're Democrats, but they've been put out of work because of 85 in California. And that law is going to put those same people out of work in every state in the union if we elect Joe Biden because he's endorsed the law. He wants to make it the law of the land. Okay, so tell me about the teachers. If you hire a tutor now, you have to a, obey this law. Do you think that this is just about the unions or is it also to kind of hold hostage the parents who can't, I mean, one of the things that's happening around the country, people are hiring tutors and, you know, it's five families and they go in, they hire somebody and it's a contractor and they, you know, have their kids go to school, you know, the five families put together one teacher and they kind of do it themselves. That's what's the trend now.

in America. But this would put a stop to that. Is this only about labor unions or is this about more than that? I think this is an unintended side benefit for the Democrats who don't want kids to actually go to school at home. When Governor Gavin Newsom and other Blue State governors shut down the schools, they did it not because science demonstrated some sort of risk for kids to be in those schools. They did it because the powerful teachers unions demanded it. The teachers unions want to be able to have their members collect a full paycheck without actually having to go into school and do the work. Everyone notes that online and distant learning is not effective for keeping our kids on pace to achieve educational outcomes.

And so parents, as you just said, have taken it on their own to talk to each other and pass the hat to hire a tutor, to hire a teacher, to create what they call pod schools, little tiny pod learning opportunities. And now under AB5, if the parents did that, they will open themselves up to penalties and fines. Governor Gavin Newsom, in the midst of a pandemic, decided to put $20 million into the state budget to enforce AB5.

Remember, we're $56 billion in deficit, but he somehow came up with $20 million to enforce AB5 in the middle of a pandemic. That's how aggressive they are being in enforcing this law. So next year, when those tutors, when those teachers who were paid as independent contractors, because that's how all the parents are doing it, hey, let me give you some money and then I'll just issue you a 1099 at the end of the year. When they file their taxes, they will have to report all of that income that they earned from parents for tutoring on Schedule C of their IRS forms. The state of California will pull that data, issue a notice, demand notice to the tutor asking them for a list of their clients and a copy of their contract, any sort of paperwork to demonstrate what did you do, what were the terms and conditions. And none of that will pass muster under AB5.

The parents then will be penalized for back taxes, unemployment, workers' compensation. they will also be imposed, a fine will be imposed on top of them. The reason why we did the press conference was two full. Number one is we wanted to warn parents, hey, you're going to get smacked if you do this. And number two, we wanted to point out just how flawed the 85 law is, that it would basically create a crime if parents decided to hire tutors. And the state of California basically put out guidance saying, yeah, tutors and teachers are covered under AB5 and that this is a real possibility that they would be penalized.

Carl, let me ask you this question. I think I know the answer because I live in Texas and I also part-time live in Idaho. Both states are being decimated by people coming in from California. But what is the temperature of the people in California? Are they, is everybody cool with this? or have they overstepped or do the average California just like, yeah, man, we're fine with not going to work. We're fine with all of these things. We're fine, not going to school.

And I mean, what is the temperature there? The temperature is when you when you talk to them about what's actually happening, most of them are not aware because the liberal media out here will not give them any bad news. They will not report on any of these scams. They won't report on the damage that AB5 has already done. And so when they find out, they're shocked, they're surprised, and they don't understand, and they try to contact assembly members or state senators, and they're getting the runaround. And so on issues, I believe that Californians are still closet conservatives. Here's the problem we have, Glenn.

The California Republican Party is a big old dumpster fire. They've been leading an organized or actually a disorganized, or actually a disorganized, retreat for about 20 years in California. They've given up the fight. They don't invest in this state. The establishment gets to handpick folks and they run these accommodating what I call seat warmers. These are Republicans who basically take a seat and they don't do anything. And this is happening at the local level, state level, and even in the congressional level. We've got to change that. I do believe that there are conservatives and moderates in California that if given leadership will go in a new direction.

But what's happening is that those same people, to your point, are giving up in California and moving elsewhere. And the irony here is that for every sane, moderate or conservative Californian who gets disgusted and leaves the state of California, you have four liberals that can no longer afford California, and so they move into places like Nevada, like Arizona, like even Texas, and turn those states purple and trending towards blue. These are liberals who cannot afford the policies that they have supported by putting people like Gavin Newsom and Lorena Gonzalez and Kamala Harris into office. I have to tell you, I've urged the governor of Texas to build a Western and

Oh, no, it would have been bad. All right.

Decisions that are largely beyond your control are being made, whether your kids are going back to school or not this semester. And while going to school board, falling on your knees and screaming at the top of your lungs, they have to take your kids back because you're going to lose your mind if you don't. It's unlikely that it works. So you're going to be stuck at home with them for a little while longer. The good reason among many that you should look into getting simple

That's the Fed going in, printing money, and buying up stocks.

That's inflation. And you're going to start seeing that everywhere. Remember, we have talked about this for a long, long time. The federal government now has printed more bogus money and actually printed more dollars than we have in the last 90 years. And we've done that in the last 90 days. That's going to cause real havoc in the market. It's going to cause our dollar to collapse. but don't worry, there'll be a great reset.

When that great reset happens, what are you going to have? When your dollar becomes worthless and less, it eventually becomes worthless, I will tell you right now, I'm considering doing things that I have never done before, and all the financial advisors are screaming at me. Glenn, do you know how much money can be made in the stock market? Yeah, I do, I do. And pigs get slaughtered. I am really concerned that's going to pay out in dollars.

And if you have an ounce of gold and it's worth $3,500, can you make change?

Can you break a $3,500 coin? So I don't know what to do. I'm not advising you, but you really need to think about the future. it is really kind of turned a nasty corner. President and CEO of First Liberty Institute, chief counsel of First Liberty Institute. This is a group that works on protecting the First Amendment, our First Liberty and religion.

Kelly, welcome to the program. Thanks for having me, Glenn. Happy to be on. Am I? Is it an overstatement to say we've gone from the best of times to the worst of times? Yeah, in some ways. I mean, obviously, the short term is just vicious. I mean, I even think back eight years ago, I think we had 48 cases that year. We had 300 this last year.

It's just ratcheting up, and people see it, right? I mean, they're decapitating statues of Jesus. I mean, the best exam, and we've had hundreds and hundreds of churches calling us during this, you know, coronavirus attack on churches going on around the country. But I thought, and I don't know if you saw this going, I bet you did. What would happen in Portland two weekends ago, I thought was the visual of the entire, you know, last four months, which was they took a stack of Bibles and used those to ignite them to light the American flag.

And to me, that was the visual, is if you're going to take America down, you've got to get rid of the church, of religious freedom, because that kind of moral constraint gets in the way of oppressive governments. So, Kelly, there's a, there's a few things. First of all, no one is, no one is, is really even speaking out about the, the literal attacks on the churches. As you said, churches have had statues of Jesus, desecrated and beheaded. you've had all kinds of destruction being done to our churches, and nobody is saying anything.

And that is not a coincidence when you have Marxists marching in the streets. And then we also have the government not recognizing all of the First Amendment. They'll say, oh, you have a right to protest if you're on the right side. But you don't have a right to make your own decisions when it comes to church. And the worst place this is that I have found, New York and California, we've had more protections put in and the Constitution strengthened on the First Amendment over the last three years, thanks to Donald Trump. But it doesn't seem to matter right now what the Constitution says. Yeah, I really do think it's a dichotomy right now. I mean, we're in, let me sort of, this bad news, good news, I guess.

The bad news is we're in a huge battle right now for whether the government controls the church, whether the government controls the First Amendment. I mean, we started out at First Liberty. I mean, people can go, Glenn, if they want, the First Liberty.org, and we have a list of all our victories. We won every case we filed during the pandemic, and we filed smart lawsuits. We knew how difficult it would be to win when judges are going, well, I don't want to overrule somebody who's trying to protect public health. But, you know, we waited. We filed the right ones, and we established a lot of good law. Well, then a lot of people started filing lawsuits that weren't so smart. And you had some bad judges. They were filed in bad places.

And now it's just a mess. Nobody knows whether the Constitution is going to protect them or not. And so we're fighting this out. I hope eventually we get a good case to the Supreme Court, and we can clear this up. But in the meantime, right now, it's just chaos. um... because there are a lot of crazy lawsuits and crazy judges and crazy uh... mayors that that or governors that are doing things that are clearly unconstitutional but you know you've got to get into the courts

and you've you've got to get these things corrected and unfortunately it takes time and right now we don't know where we're going to end up at the end of this because i'll tell you this if the rule is that if the government if a government official declares an emergency then your rights are gone then none of us have any rights because any government officials can declare an emergency. And so things like, you know, you can't sing at church because, you know, you're, because

that's a danger for spreading the virus. But you can scream with, you know, 10,000 people at a protest. I mean, that's just complete nonsense. And it's clearly discriminatory and it's clearly unconstitutional. But that's what's happening out there. We had one situation, Glenn, where they were going to have. have a worship outside, and the county was telling them that it was illegal for them to worship outside on the beach. So there's a lot of stuff going. I will tell people, though, we are winning

these lawsuits if you file them, if you're smart. And I think we're going to eventually win it. To find smart, what does that mean? Well, for instance, what is a smart lawsuit? You've got to know, I mean, take good facts. There are tons of these. And for instance, Let's take the very first one. When we hit at this pandemic, we knew this was very dangerous. There is no case law on what the Constitution says in a pandemic. I mean, we've never had that before, or we've gone into court. We were watching fathers throwing a baseball with their sons being arrested in front of their children, right?

Everybody was like, was the Constitution apply anymore? And so we knew the first case had to be the right case. And so we filed a lawsuit. We thought this was the right case. It was right before Easter Sunday. And it was a church in Louisville that was actually told they could not drive in their cars. They were trying to have a service some way on Easter. So they came in their cars.

They listened over the radio to the pastor. You can't pass the virus from car to car, right? And not only did they outlaw, the governor of Kentucky had said they're going to go to every parking lot on Sunday, church parking lot, right down the license plate of every person, and they were going to be visited their home by police and told that they had to be quarantined. So this is like something from China. And so we filed a federal lawsuit. We got Judge Justin Walker who really laid the wood to the people of, to the Louisville mayor. and what they were doing there and said, that is not what we do in this country.

The Constitution does apply, and it was a great sort of reminder or bringing back the Constitution. That's a smarter lawsuit. Let's get victories, and let's not file, do that sort of Hail Mary type things that, you know, unless you get the right judge, you're not going to win, because this is a new thing for a lot of these judges. and so we have to come forward with good facts, with good arguments, file them in the right place, because this is a very important battle for the future of our country.

What does it mean if Donald Trump is not the president and we have the left take over with as many vacancies that are going to be on the Supreme Court, and they could even pack the court? What does that mean to, freedom when we're so close to losing it with this president and with the Constitution. Yeah, I would tell people, like you said, Glenn, before the pandemic even, I mean, we were really turning the corner on, we've gotten so many good judges in that the law is starting to change.

We're going back to the words of the Constitution with a significant victory a year and a half ago at the Supreme Court in one of our cases that really was a major change. change for religious freedom. And so the good news is, you know, we were really starting to turn things around. And I think what would have been maybe 40 or 50 years, if we can keep that going, obviously that's wonderful for our country. But if you, like you said, if they pack the court, then the court is no longer a court. It's just a political body. Because whoever comes in next time, they'll just add people to the court too. And so now it's a political body. It's not a legal body. it's just whoever you want to vote in, and it would destroy our Supreme Court and the rule of law to that manner.

I have to tell you, I think with John Roberts, there it is a political court now. I mean, he's, I mean, he's, you can't make sense. They're heads or tails of, of, of his rulings, uh, because it just seems to wherever the wind is blowing. Uh, and it's, it's crazy. Uh, Kelly, thank you so much for everything that you do. they were not going to make it and I don't believe that I do believe that if we can wake enough people up, there's enough good people in this country that do have common sense. They do understand what our liberties are really all about. They do understand private property. They understand that it's racist to say all white people or all black people or all people that are purple are racists. there are enough people there. The question is, will they be brave enough to stand up? Will they be brave enough?

We talked to a brave, brave teacher from California today. She wanted her voice disguise because she's doomed if they find out who she is. This is really truly what it means at the very beginning, what it means to say, With firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor. We don't rely enough on divine providence. Not enough of us believe in divine providence. But if we live the way we're supposed to live, if we commit ourselves to follow in his footsteps,

he does not want to see liberties lost globally. Those are things he gave to us. God created us and gave us these liberties. And he is not on the side of anybody who is trying to take the liberty away from anybody else. We must be on the side of liberty, which means even when we don't like somebody else's liberty, the way they're exercising their liberty, we have to stand up for them. Even if they're getting what they deserve and, you know, oh, gee, oh, you've been canceled. Oh, hmm, who would have seen that one coming?

We can't have that attitude. We have to stand with them. And we have to be peacemakers. But it is going to require us to stand. And I believe that this audience has been uniquely equipped. I mean, I just posted something from headline news. We found a show of mine during the Bush administration, where we were talking about critical race theory. We were talking about liberation theology.

And it was when I first kind of stumbled onto it because of Jeremiah Wright. And I'm like, I don't even know what this is. We had an expert on, and we did three days on it. You can see that clip. It's about five minutes. You should watch it. it's why you're not surprised. Everybody else in the country is surprised when things happen, but you're not, because together we've been on this.

John MacArthur. How are you, sir? Well, I'm very fine. I'm chuckling when I hear that because we normally begin with prayer. That was a little bit of a different approach to start a service. Yes, yes. But it is, in California, it is crazy that your First Amendment right to gather and have the services that are essential, I believe, to the soul of each individual and soul of our nation, that's not okay.

but if you decide to engage in a peaceful protest, which looks an awful lot like a riot, you're fine. Yeah, that's absolutely right. The hypocrisy of it is, well, I guess you couldn't even call it hypocrisy. It's just blatant double talk because they're out front with it all. So we are targeted. There's no question about it. I go back to the fact that 364 babies are aborted in California every day. we lead the nation. We'll have about 140,000 abortions this year. There's no moral high ground. The governor

basically had a decree a year or so ago in which he invited people who couldn't get an abortion in another state to come to California, and you could get it here. Funded by tax money. So there's no moral high ground. There's just what we feel is a targeting of churches based on fear, based on statistics that are not believable. You know, just before we move on from abortion, it was Kamala Harris, now the vice presidential pick, that actually began the litigation against the reporter that did the uncovering of the selling of baby body parts by Planned Parenthood. That was Kamala Harris in California.

So, John, you are now standing up, and did you ever think that you might in this country be put in a position of someday following the Dietrich Bonhoeffer kind of path, where you go to jail for what you believe? You know, it was a reality, and increasingly so. I've been at Grace Church 51 years. Life was fairly benign a half a century ago in terms of the thought of persecution. But in the last 10 or 15 years, this has been coming. It's been coming because of the corruption of the university system, which eventually puts everybody in leadership who has been jaded and sold. an anti-God, anti-Christian, anti-American ideology. So there's an inevitability to it. One way to understand this, Glenn,

I don't know what you're going to say tonight. You kind of teased a little bit on that. I don't know what you're going to say tonight, but I believe it already, even I don't know what it is, because you can just see the signs. Just a simple way that I look at this from a biblical standpoint, the human race has fallen. We know we're all sinners because everybody dies,

and the wages of sin is death and the soul that sins will die. So death is the evidence of sin. So how does God manage to cause flourishing in this massive collision of sinners on the way to death? He built into society four restraints. The first one is the law of God written in the heart. Part of being human is having the knowledge of right and wrong, and it's in the heart. And then God gave a mechanism called the conscience, which is activated when you disobey that law, in the heart. That's why people feel guilty. That's why there's deep fear, anxiety, depression,

sometimes panic attacks over people's sinful behavior. That's a mechanism that God gives them so they don't continually destroy the soul. The second mechanism, by the way, the law of God in the heart has a weapon. The weapon is conscience. The second mechanism is the family and the father and the mother. And believe it or not, the weapon is the rod. The Bible talks about, bear the rod and spoil the child. What that means is that there is loving discipline for misbehavior so that misbehavior has consequences. The third is the government, and Romans 13 basically says the government has a sword, that's their weapon, to punish evildoers and protect those who do good. And the fourth restraint in society are the people of God, the church that are salt and light, salt as a quiet influence,

light as a blazing declaration of truth. So given those four restraints, am I surprised that basically the law written in the heart has been completely overturned and replaced with a corrupt, perverted law? And if your conscience gives you any trouble, you need to silence your conscience because you don't need to take any blame for anything you do. You shouldn't have any shame. So the conscience and the law of God in the heart has been devastated systematically through the sexual revolution, homosexual revolution, and all the other stuff that comes with it, the Me Too movement, social justice, everything.

Then the family, the family is the next barrier, the next restraint that allows humanity to flourish, and what's happened to the family, just complete devastation to the family, to the degree that there is law being made to give some kind of normalcy to trans-so. So the family's under assault. Next comes the government,

the police. You have a generation of people milling around in the streets, destroying everything, because there never have been any consequences to their behavior as they grew up. So now we want to get rid of the police. Well, who's next? There's only one institution left, and that's the church. The police have a sword. The father and mom have a rod. The law of God in the heart has a conscience. The church has the truth. That's the most deadly weapon of all to a world that wants to run from God and do everything that the sinful heart longs to do. So silencing the church is part of it. So did I expect that it would come in my lifetime? Probably. Probably. I don't know that this is something that has come as fast as it appears. I think it's,

it's been growing for decades. No, I think it's, you know, you've never gone in for a prostate exam. and you're 70. Well, all of a sudden, you've got a month to live. Well, you could have seen it coming, but you didn't look. And many of us just turned away and we didn't look. And so we didn't realize we were being rotted from the inside out. You know, I've talked to a lot of people, and I said, you know, it actually gave me a lot of hope if Jesus were coming. Because I know he could fix it and he will when he comes.

But I also wouldn't be surprised if this was the beginning of the end of days, if you will. Do you find that more and more people are going, you know, I mean, are we approaching those times? Well, you know, Jesus said no man knows the day nor the hour. So I'm not one to speculate, but I've never seen as many people hope it's soon. as there are hoping now. Yeah. But I think there's another thing to look at. In the first chapter of the book of Romans,

there's a verse, verse 18, that says, The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth and unrighteousness. No nation has ever held the truth and been unrighteous at the same time to the degree that the United States has,

obviously founded on Christian values, founded on biblical principles. We've held the truth for the duration of our national identity. But we have held the truth increasingly in unrighteousness. And the Bible says God's wrath will be revealed. And here's how it defines that wrath in that same chapter. God gave them over. That's a Greek term that means handing someone over to sentence, to execution, to jail or whatever.

It's illegal. So God handed them over, and first of all, to immorality. So the first way you know, that a culture has been handed over by God is there would be a sexual revolution. And God says, I'm going to turn you over to the consequences of your evil choices. Two verses later, it says God gave them over to homosexuality. So when you see a sexual revolution followed by a homosexual revolution, you're living, Romans 1.

The third statement is he gave them over to a reprobate mind. I used to wonder, what is a reprobate mind, a mind that doesn't work? that's when you look at yourself and you're a man and you say I'm a woman. That's insanity. And out of that insanity, it becomes impossible to go back because all rationality is gone. So I think what we're seeing in America is the wrath of God in Romans 1 revealed on a society and the evidence of it is sexual revolution, homosexual revolution, followed by a reprobate mind. So that America kind of looks like the Jerry Springer show.

It's just deviation for the sake of entertainment. And the chapter ends by saying, even though they know these things are wrong, they not only do them, but they approve them. They clap. They applaud at deviation and perversion. That's a cyclical kind of thing. The Bible also says, God has allowed all out all the nations to go their own way. So we're not the first nation who's gone down this path. This is pretty much how history goes.

So whether this is just our end or whether this is the apocalyptic end of everything, I don't know, but certainly the wrath of God has been released on this country. It doesn't mean there's no grace. There is always grace. This is the day of salvation. Come to Christ. That's our message. Escape the wrath.

Escape the judgment. God will show you grace. But I think America is experiencing that judgment. You don't hear people. say those things anymore, John. And I appreciate your willingness to stand up and say what you believe and call your church back and be willing to go to jail for the things that you believe are true. Thank you for being on the program, John.
