Starting point is 00:00:04 The Fusion of Entertainment and Enlightenment. This is the Glembach program. With Pat and Jeffie. Today and tomorrow. And then, of course, Glenn's back on Monday. Triple-8-7-27-B-E-C-K, the phone number, if you'd like to get involved in the show. Got a lot to tell you about it. I mean, much has happened over the last week and a half, two weeks.
Starting point is 00:00:33 I don't know what it was. but something did. Quite a few things. It's got to be a list somewhere. There's got to be. How about the embassy situation that could have been way uglier than it was? Well, with the mourners showing up. Yeah, the mourners, right.
Starting point is 00:00:48 Right. Caused by that darn video from that guy. Right. That guy's video continues to cause us problems. Or maybe this is a new guy in his video, a new video. It's possible. But people are pissed off about that video. I thought some other people, you know, that,
Starting point is 00:01:04 We, as Americans, actually injured, they were showing up mourning and crying and just wanted to, you know, let us know how sad they were. Right. Just sad. And so we'll get into that and lots more coming up in 60 seconds. This is the Glenn Beck program. According to the census, only one in five homes have any home security. Probably because most companies don't make it easy with complicated installations, long-term contracts, astronomical monthly fees.
Starting point is 00:01:38 But SimpliSafe is different, and that's why they've been my choice for home security for a very long time. You get smart lock and video doorbell to defend your front door against porch pirates and an arsenal of sensors to cover every inch of your home. And with SimplySafe, there are never any long-term contracts, just comprehensive professional home security for 15 bucks a month. This is your last chance to take advantage of SimpliSafe's amazing holiday savings. 25% off your system plus a free HD security camera with your order.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Simply safe. They rarely run deals this big, so now is your chance. I have not seen a deal this good until now at SimplySafebec.com. But hurry, the sale ends January 7th. That's simply safebeck.com. Simply safebeck.com. Pat and Jeffie for Glenn today, AAA, 727BECK, the number to call. You know what's refreshing is not.
Starting point is 00:02:48 hearing something about this U.S. embassy being attacked in Baghdad, not hearing something that's a fairy tale because that's what we heard last time. Yeah. And that's what we would have heard again this time. Ah, it's a movie. Oh, they're disgruntled their mourners, a whole bunch of mourners in mourning. Yeah, no. This is an Iranian-backed militia. They've set up several of these groups around the Middle East and one of them happens to be there in Baghdad and this is who's behind it. Iran
Starting point is 00:03:24 is behind it. So, the Pentagon, under the leadership of, I don't know, the commander in chief who's a little different this time than the last one we had. Thankfully. Sent 100 Marines to the embassy. Also, the
Starting point is 00:03:41 soldiers inside the embassy fired tear gas and stun grenades, plus some warning shots. In fact, 62 of the hundreds of fighters who broke down the main door to the compound and set fire to the reception area,
Starting point is 00:03:56 they got a little dose of, hey, no, we're not going to let you just storm in here and take our people. No. So, it's amazing to see what happens when you respond with some strength rather than responding with total
Starting point is 00:04:12 weakness like Carter and Obama did. and a totally different outcome. So hopefully this time there's no, you know, two-year, three-year standoff with Iran while they do whatever they do to our hostages. That would have been horrific. That sure would have.
Starting point is 00:04:32 And look, is it, you know, there's the argument to be made that it's time to get out of there anyway? Yeah, it is. Well, I think it is. I do too. Yeah. I am definitely, I'm not opposed to that at all. They're actually saying that they're going to pull the troops completely out of Afghanistan.
Starting point is 00:04:50 So not peacekeepers or trainers, people that are training their militia or overseers or supervisors. Everybody supposedly is coming home. Good. It's only been 18 years. I don't know what the rush is. What is the hurry here? Let's think about this for a while. We've got another 18 at least to milk this thing, right?
Starting point is 00:05:13 You would think so. Yes, I know. I know. So 18 years. 18 years. Thank you. It's amazing. That's amazing to think.
Starting point is 00:05:22 It's been, we're going on 20 years now in Afghanistan. And look, we've heard the argument, you know, for how much, how many times that Afghanistan is the, you know, the nation killer. Yeah. And it's proven over and over and over again. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's time to stop, stop beating our heads against the wall.
Starting point is 00:05:42 First of all, we thought we could, we could bring. I guess we thought we could remake them in our image in Iraq and Afghanistan. And really doesn't seem to be, it doesn't seem to be possible. No, it doesn't. No, it doesn't. They've just got a different mindset. They've got different priorities. They have a different culture.
Starting point is 00:06:03 And they have different principles of governance. And you know what? Okay. Yeah, it's fine. You know what? Leave us alone. And it's time for us to leave you alone. Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Yeah. I mean, that's. all for that. Now the initial attack on Afghanistan where we went to take out the Taliban was totally appropriate since they were involved somewhat indirectly or directly or indirectly
Starting point is 00:06:26 but we also had to flush out al-Qaeda out of the Afghan area. So, okay, we did that a long time ago. Let's stop with the nation building and come home now. Okay. Does anybody contest that? I don't know. I don't know anymore.
Starting point is 00:06:44 can't be too many people who want us there still. What do you say there? Like a hundred years, like John McCain was talking about in 2008, or a hundred years of necessary? No. How about no on that one? I don't think America needs to fight a hundred year war.
Starting point is 00:07:03 I mean, who's left in the war mongerers? Lindsay Graham, maybe? Yeah, definitely. You think of war mongerers. I mean, that's what you think of, right? I don't know who else, but I'm sure there are some. Yeah, there are some definite hawks like him. But I think they're fewer and farther between.
Starting point is 00:07:21 And boy, that's a shame. Yeah. It's really time. Unless we're attacked, leave them to their own devices. That's my point. Leave us alone. We'll leave you alone. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Which is how we'll leave you alone. That is exactly what our founders intended. And so that should be, I think, our mindset as well. You're not going to go back to the founders. Founders and Constitution thing. Yeah, with the rich white slave owners. Which they're not.
Starting point is 00:07:52 For a couple of weeks during the impeachment, they weren't rich white slave owners. All of a sudden, they're revered like crazy. Well, we love these men like there are dads, like there are very own benevolent fathers. Really? They were the greatest of this democracy. And that constitution was not some dusty old living document. We can interpret any way we want. We go to sleep with that.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Oh, it's, yeah, except I don't want to wrinkle it. So I make sure it's well protected. I sleep on it on top of it. It's in a box that I sleep on because I don't want it to be damaged at all. I don't care. That's how much I love the Constitution. That thing has to be. strictly adhered to.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Right. I mean, so transparent, so obvious. But, you know, they've got no shame. So they have no problem in pretending. Whenever it's convenient for them, that they're all about the Constitution. I had never heard a republic, if you can keep it,
Starting point is 00:09:03 as many times in my entire life, as I've heard it in the last two weeks or three weeks with these Democrats. As Benjamin Franklin said, you've got a republic if you can keep it. I pledge allegiance. Wait, let me consult my notes. To the Republic. Republic. The Republic.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Republic. Democracy Republic. For which it stands. One nation. Invisible with a libertarian. for justice. And a little bit of justice for everybody. Yeah, but man, I love it.
Starting point is 00:09:46 I love this country. Love that pledge and stuff. I'm all about it. The hypocrisy is amazing, isn't it? It sure is. It's truly, truly amazing. AAA-93393. This was kind of interesting,
Starting point is 00:10:02 and maybe a lot of people don't know the significance of Major Garrett actually praising Donald Trump because he used to work for Fox. And so I think a lot of people are under the impression that Major Garrett is, you know, some kind of solid conservative. I don't think so at all.
Starting point is 00:10:18 Major Garrett, I don't know that he's a friend to the right. And not Republicans either. But here is what Major Garrett had to say about President Trump on face the nation. So this is pretty significant because nobody says anything good about Donald Trump on face the nation. I don't think, I mean, is he still alive? I don't know that you can. Right. Right.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Is it even law? I don't know. I don't know. Let's find out. Here's what he said about Trump's minority policies. It can be fairly said that this administration, because of President Trump's quiet prodding, has done quite a bit for funding of historically black colleges and universities. The first step back, which was a massive first step toward criminal justice reform.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Just a couple of weeks ago in this newly signed defense bill, there is a law. that says if you are seeking work for the federal government or any contractor, you don't have to be asked and you cannot be asked about your criminal history until right toward the end. That's a significant change long sought by criminal justice advocates, plus opportunity zones in the tax bill directed at communities of color. That is a legacy on the agenda side that almost any president after three years would want to claim. What? Wow. Yeah, he's right about that. Of course. They cut it off because that's when they dragged him off the case. Yes. He is. missing now. Major Garrett is missing and
Starting point is 00:11:43 we've seen no trace of him after this particular statement he made. But that's pretty brave. That's pretty brave of Major Garrett to go against the flow like that on a show like that when you're in a panel and you know everybody's going to hate you for saying it. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:00 He said it anyway. Good for him. Also, the U.S., according to Chief Justice, John Roberts, the U.S. has quote, come to take democracy for granted, unquote. Well, yeah, who cares? We're not a democracy, so it doesn't matter, doesn't it?
Starting point is 00:12:17 Thank you. While we finally have the Democrats saying that this is a republic, and they've said it several times. They have said it several times, but they throw it in there. Like, I mean, that's the Obama rule, right? They throw the republic in. What do you mean? I called it a republic.
Starting point is 00:12:33 But then the rest of the time, it's democracy. Sometimes in the same sentence. Absolutely it is. Roberts slated, of course, to oversee the Senate's impeachment trial. If the articles of impeachment ever go to the House, so far, that hasn't happened. But he's going to oversee the impeachment trial when it happens. Used his year-end report Tuesday to laud the federal judiciary's work on civic education while issuing a thinly veiled warning about the fragility of American democracy in this fractious time.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Now, why would a Supreme Court justice, even as, Supreme Court justice is giving us this a Bush appointed Supreme Court justice, giving us this democracy nonsense. We have come to take democracy for granted and civic education has fallen by the wayside. Well, yeah, with you as well. Apparently, civic education didn't get you to the point where you realize, we're not a democracy. He said, in our age, when social media can instantly spread rumor and false information on a grand scale. The public's need to understand our government and the protections it provides is ever more vital. It sure is, John. Sure is. We'll get into this a little bit more, but let's take a break for just 60 seconds, and then we'll be right back into it.
Starting point is 00:13:58 You have heard me talk about Mike Lindell, the inventor of my pillow, and how his pillow has given me a great night's sleep, which I need. Now, from time to time, he'll send me something to try from pillows to the sheets to the towels i've loved them all so far you're the one who have built this into an incredible company and have trusted mich lindell to give you a great night's sleep so mike wants to do something for you and that is his geez at dream sheets which are great he's going to give you an incredible deal these sheets come with the world's best cotton they are ultra soft they're breathable yet extremely durable and right now the geese a dream sheets buy one get one set free plus shipping with a promo go back remember all my pillow products come

Starting point is 00:15:21 guy. I know. The one person. A Bush appointment. That you'd think would get it right. He should get it right. Right? And he's complaining about the education. Yes. Which is ironic. But he described a 1788 riot that incapacitated
Starting point is 00:15:39 John Jay while John Jay was working with Alexander Hamilton and James Madison on the Federalist papers. Those were the three guys. Madison Jay and Hamilton. Hamilton wrote most of but Madison and Jay wrote a few on the Federalist papers. A series of articles published to promote the ratification of the Constitution. Jay was hitting ahead with a rock while trying to quell the riot,
Starting point is 00:16:02 which was sparked by a rumor, this is why Roberts is talking about rumors, that medical students were dissecting the body of a recently deceased woman. So they were so incensed that medical students might be dissecting a body that they showed up and protested and even hit a Supreme Court justice, eventually a Supreme Court justice. The Chief Justice, John Jay, in the head with Iraq.
Starting point is 00:16:31 Wow. He said, Robert said, it's sadly ironic that John Jay's efforts to educate his fellow citizens about the framers' plan of government fell victim to a rock thrown by a rioter motivated by a rumor. This also shows that back in the late 1700s,
Starting point is 00:16:49 It was pretty interesting because you could see the highest elected officials in the land. Right there. Out in public. Just walking around in public with no security, nobody around him. It'd be like, you know, John Jay, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, picking out produce, it's Safeway. Right. In the middle of a whole bunch of people who hate his guts and are there shopping as well. Taking a break from the case, huh?
Starting point is 00:17:22 I just need some fresh turnips. They'll get back to the courts. It's amazing to think that that used to be the case. I mean, they just walked around like that. Like, no protection whatsoever. It's kind of like, I guess, in the 50s when people didn't lock their doors. You didn't have to then. I guess in 1788, they didn't feel like you had to then.
Starting point is 00:17:45 I mean, they felt like they weren't supposed to either. Yeah, yeah. And then all that. Also, how do they even know what they look like? It's not like they were on TV all the time. They were only on TV part of the time, you know, a lot less. The rock throwers, you know, they saw John on Instagram. Oh, is that what it was?
Starting point is 00:18:02 Okay. Yeah, he was posting stuff on Instagram. Hey, look at my fresh turnips and Safeway. Fresh Turnips. Had a bumper crop this year. Yeah. Yeah. And I sold some of them to Safeway.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Yes. Kept the rest. So that's how they do. So Roberts, according to this article, has become the nation's leading champion of judicial independence since being appointed. This is why he keeps doing, making rulings that go against what we thought were his conservative values. Because he wants to be seen as an independent. I'm not beholden to anybody. I'm not on the right at all.
Starting point is 00:18:42 He's gone so far. I'm all about the democracy. Right. All about the democracy. Yeah, that's the problem. So despite being, you know, appointed the Supreme Court by George W. Bush, in his new report, Roberts called the judiciary a source of national unity and stability, but added a cautionary note. We should also remember that justice is not inevitable. We should reflect on our duty to judge without fear or favor deciding each matter with humility, integrity, and dispatch.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Hmm. I think what you should do is pay attention to the Constitution and decide whether it's constitutional or not. Isn't that what you're really supposed to do? Isn't that what the Supreme Court is supposed to do? And he's talking about education and we should be educating ourselves. And then he doesn't even mention the Constitution when describing his job. This guy is so much worse than I thought he was going to be when he was a lot. appointed. I thought he was going to be a pretty decent pick. And that has not been the case. But they're in the middle, the Supreme Court right now, their term this year includes cases on
Starting point is 00:19:58 LGBTQIA2 plus discrimination, abortion, and gun control. So this is a big term. Good. We want someone who cares about the democracy. Yes. Yes. Yeah. And we want somebody who's concerned about their legacy rather than the Constitution. And he's all about... He is all about his legacy. You are right. I don't think there's any doubt about that. So they're going to hear arguments on, also on Trump's effort to prevent his financial
Starting point is 00:20:31 information from being turned over to Congress in late March or early April. So we got that to look forward to as well. That will be really fascinating to see how they rule on that and see whether, whether this president is forced to do something that he doesn't have to do. There's no law that says he has to do this. And so I'm going to be fascinated. I mean, I want to see Trump's finances like everybody else. I'm really curious.
Starting point is 00:21:00 But you know they'll beat him to death with that. Oh, yeah. No matter what's in it. Whether he took advantage of tax breaks or, you know, whether it doesn't matter. More money than 300 million of us combined or whatever they case may be, they'll attack him for it. There's just no doubt about that. So that's another interesting thing they're going to be hearing very soon.
Starting point is 00:21:22 We'll keep an eye on that for you. It's Pat and Jeffrey for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. You're listening to Glenn Beck. Mortgage rates are so low right now. It is truly the right time to review your financial goals and set the course for your family's future. My choice is American financing. They're a family-owned national mortgage banker with a salary-based mortgage consultant. So they're in it for you. If it's your goal to purchase a new home, maybe you could
Starting point is 00:21:59 use a little more space or you're downsizing. They can help. If you're looking to consolidate debt into one low payment or just reduce your interest rate to pay less over the life of your loan, American financing can save you thousands of dollars. And if you're in a variable rate loan, I urge you get into a fixed rate. American financing, the only lender I endorse, the people I trust. No commission, no upfront fees, and no pressure. They'll cover you coast to coast in 10 minutes. 800906
Starting point is 00:22:29 2440. That's 800906 2440 or online at Americanfinancing.net. American financing, NMLS-182334 NMLS Consumer Access.org. Pat and Jeffrey for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program, Triple-8 727B-E-CK. So
Starting point is 00:22:54 the other thing that might be going on, except when does when does Congress reconvened? Oh, who knows? They've got, they're back home working with the people
Starting point is 00:23:08 and their constituents. Right. So it doesn't matter. Ever so closely to everything that their constituents have to say. They're back home. Taking notes, you know, copious, copious notes,
Starting point is 00:23:23 contemporaneous and copious notes. Yes. So, I think maybe it's Monday they come back and maybe the if they don't send the articles if Pelosi doesn't send the articles of impeachment over to the Senate
Starting point is 00:23:39 right when they get back. I think this is a delay tactic and maybe they won't do it at all. Maybe they won't because I think what they want to be able to say is look, he was impeached and this president
Starting point is 00:23:58 has to answer for that. I mean, he's got that stain on him. Whereas if they go to the Senate and they have the trial and he's acquitted, then it's done. Well, sure, but I was acquitted. So there was nothing to it. And they don't want that. And I also, if Nancy holds out to it, I'm sorry, speaker Pelosi holds on to the, doesn't send it over to the Senate,
Starting point is 00:24:23 and just holds it and waits until the election. Mm-hmm. Right? in hopes that she figures. Hoping that the Senate, they get the majority back in the Senate. Because you figure, okay, Trump's going to win, right? We've already given in that Trump's going to win. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Good luck. Good luck Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren or Pete Buttigieg or Bernie Sanders beating Donald Trump. I'm sorry. Yeah. I doubt that it's going to happen. So if they flip the Senate, then she can send it over and kick him out of office, right? Well, they'd have to get to two-thirds. And there's no way they'd do that.
Starting point is 00:24:54 But here's the thing. If they have a majority of senators convict, all they'll say is, well, look, it's just because we couldn't get those Republicans on board. There were too partisan. We had a majority that wanted to remove him from office, which would, you know, that'd still give them a talking point. Yes, I would. I don't know if they're going to, I mean, if they draw it out that far, they might really, first of all, they're not going to win the Senate back, I hope. And I think there's a possibility that Republicans win back the House. So if we had the House, we, meaning the Republicans,
Starting point is 00:25:31 if Republicans get the House and the Senate and keep the presidency, well then you have. Look how much we'll get done. Look what they did last time that happened. Oh, my God. There was that huge thing. They did the thing. You know, the one deal.
Starting point is 00:25:47 Oh, you know, no, no. No, and they almost did the other one thing that. Yeah, the thing. Yeah, yeah, they never So we've got that to look forward to. Yes. That's the problem. The Republicans have so many issues
Starting point is 00:26:03 of not getting, and they've shown us that they don't get things done when they have the opportunity. No way, I remember it was the... Yeah, we got what? We got a decent, we got a minuscule tax cut. Oh, so there was something. There was something.
Starting point is 00:26:19 It was something. But, But outside of that, what did they do? Pretty much nothing. Pretty much nothing. Didn't do anything on spending. They didn't do anything on the border. We've cut the budget.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Oh, sliced it to the boom. Even with not having the house where we've cut the budget. Well, were we over a trillion dollars in debt this last fiscal year? Well, over a trillion. Like I said, cut the budget. Ah, whatever. Nobody even cares about the budget anymore. Nobody cares.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Well, we're not Republicans, not Democrats. We wanted to, we didn't want, we didn't want Washington to shut down. That's why he signed the last, the last, the spending resolution or whatever. Yeah. And when was the last time we had a budget? Was it 2009? I think it was. It's a long time. I think it was 10 years ago.
Starting point is 00:27:10 It's pathetic. I've been a long time. I mean, the budget is just spend. It doesn't matter. And pretend that, wow, we've got to do it. And it's got to. It used to be that there were Republicans who would at least give lip service to the debt situation. They don't even do that anymore because President Trump doesn't care about the debt.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Well, he's good. He owns the debt. I mean, he's the debt king. Which is what he said. Yes. So he doesn't have a problem with it. So neither do Republicans have a problem with it. At some point, that's going to bite us in the butt hard.
Starting point is 00:27:48 And so it would be nice if, you know, maybe. they'd wake up to that issue, but I don't see that happening. Well, when they get the house and the Senate and the White House, then, you know, like they've done in the, again, like they've done in the past, then things are fixed. Did you see the Buttigieg tweet on Christmas Day when he wished everybody a Merry Christmas? He tweeted out, today I join millions around the world in celebrating the arrival of divinity on earth. who came into this world, not in riches, but in poverty. Right. Okay, no problem so far.
Starting point is 00:28:27 Not as a citizen, but as a refugee. Wait. What? No. No, he didn't come into the world as a, if you're talking about the time he spent in Egypt, maybe you can kind of make that point, you know, after Herod released a decree that all the two-year-olds would be killed. And so Mary and Joseph Flavis. led with Jesus to Egypt for a while
Starting point is 00:28:52 until things cooled down. And I guess that portion of his life could have been considered refugee status, but certainly not his birth. They went from the country in which they lived to the country in which they lived. They went from Nazareth to Bethlehem. Those were Israeli cities.
Starting point is 00:29:14 Okay, so both of those cities in Israel. And they were citizens. I'm trying to say that they went to... They went from... In a country that they lived. To another city. In a country where they lived. Because it was the same country.
Starting point is 00:29:33 So that doesn't make you a refugee. No. No. As Tom Petty would say, they didn't have to live like a refugee. No, baby, they didn't have to live like a refugee. Because they weren't refugees. So assinine. Why did they go to Bethlehem?
Starting point is 00:29:51 Because they were supposed to pay their taxes like all citizens of that area. So they went to another city. They couldn't just drop it in the mail. They don't pay their town. What are they doing? I think the postal service was a little slower at the time in the area. I mean, if Joseph and Mary are moving faster than the postal service. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Why do we still have that? on a donkey. Keep in mind. So that would have been like, you know, it was 100 miles to, it was from Nazareth to Bethlehem. It's about 100 miles. So I think it's about the distance from,
Starting point is 00:30:35 so it would be like a citizen in San Antonio going to Austin. Is that person a refugee? No. No, they're not. They're not a refugee. Maybe they don't have to live like a refugee. So ridiculous. Yes, it is.
Starting point is 00:30:51 You know, it just shows the ignorance, the stupidity, the fact that they're trying, that he's, especially Buttigieg, trying to politicize the gospel, I just can't stand that. I really hate it, really hate it, especially when he doesn't know what he's talking about. And he's always talking about, you know, we should be more charitable by paying taxes that are forced out of our pocketbooks to the government. That's not charity. That's not charity. No, but I mean, he certainly believes that. I mean, there's no question about that. I mean, when you look at whoever, whenever they release their taxes and you want to say,
Starting point is 00:31:28 Joe Biden only gave you to 1% of his income to charity. Well, I mean, he's at least living by what he. Yeah, he shouldn't even have given that. He's being consistent because he believes in the government doing the acts of charity. When it isn't, it's, how could it be considered charity when they force it out of you? Right. That is not what Jesus was. was talking about.
Starting point is 00:31:50 P. That's not. No, it has nothing to do with charity. So, but they, you know, he continues to get away with it. He's up to, I think, 24% at the last poll in Iowa. And Iowa is now a month away from tomorrow. One month from tomorrow will be the Iowa caucus. Isn't that amazing?
Starting point is 00:32:11 That sure is. I mean, it's on us now. Do we have like 80 debates before that? I think we have either three or five. four debates between now and then. Still too many. Maybe three. I think we have three this month.
Starting point is 00:32:25 Still too many. We had the one right before. Right before break. Which was great. I'm sure it was. I didn't watch one second of it. I can pick a copy for you if you'd like. I'd do your art.
Starting point is 00:32:39 I can't ask you to go to that kind of trouble. No, I just can't. I wouldn't feel good about it, Jeffie. It just wouldn't feel good. Because it was really good. Yeah, I bet it is. Get it all. That it is.
Starting point is 00:32:49 beginning to end. I'll wait until it comes out on on demand, you know, stream it. Willing to pay almost any price to see that. Yeah. Yeah, because I'm sure that was great. So it'll be fascinating to see, first of all, who qualifies for these three. Well, he's, I mean, he's busy raising all kinds of money. I mean, they're talking about how much money he's raising, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:12 So, yeah, okay. So he was at 24%. seems to me Sanders was at 21. Elizabeth Warren at 18. Then Joe Biden at 15. Fourth, almost, well, he's nine points behind Buttigieg. Well, look, fat. I mean.
Starting point is 00:33:32 You're going to challenge me to some push-ups now. Maybe run around the block together. Nobody ever said. I mean, the guy is just a tad off, right? So, I mean, he's still hanging in there and he's Joe Biden and he's got the name recognition. Yeah, but he's not doing one. Well, in the first couple of caucuses. And, you know, if you lose the first two,
Starting point is 00:33:54 good luck. The momentum is not on your side. Good luck. Yeah, you've got a real tough road after that. So it's going to be fascinating. The last time was that he was still, he was leading in Florida, right? So he's trying to say that he was leading in Florida, I think. Was he leading?
Starting point is 00:34:13 Oh, he's also leading in South Carolina. But, but, you know, Still. Still, if you... By the time you lose... You lose... You lose... Iowa, New Hampshire.
Starting point is 00:34:23 And I'm not sure where he stands in Nevada. I think Nevada's the third one this year. But if he were to lose three, the first three... I know. He'd be a really tough shape. Really tough. I mean, you can't wait for those later ones. And they're saying...
Starting point is 00:34:36 I was reading articles all during break about how Bernie Sanders has seen a renaissance in his campaign. And his doctor just gave him a clean bill of health. he's totally healthy. He'll live till he's 175. Man, shut up. Whatever. Right. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:34:54 So we'll see. But we're getting close because Iowa, again, one month from tomorrow. I mean, I will say Bernie does draw some crowds. Right? I mean, he's drawing big crowds. Not like President Trump does. No, but he brings in, no, no. I mean, those guys would almost kill to have crowds.
Starting point is 00:35:13 Oh, they would. Yeah. Absolutely. I think they would. But, I mean, I don't know that. He brings in the stars and, you know, he's got AOC. So I don't know that they're all technically there for Bernie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:23 You know, it's like, oh, we're here to see the stars and here carry a Bernie sign. So, you know, I don't know. I don't know that I buy it. If you're in the New York area or anywhere around there or you plan on a trip to be there for the Times Square ball drop, I don't
Starting point is 00:37:20 understand. I don't either. I don't either. They claimed this year they had 65 viewing, viewing pens, they were called. That's because you're fenced in. You have to go through, you have to go through checkpoints. You weren't allowed backpacks, large bags, umbrellas, no personal drones, no alcoholic beverages, no bathrooms are available. No bathrooms. You're going to be there for hours.
Starting point is 00:37:43 There's nowhere to go to the bathroom. They don't bring in porta-potties for that? Oh, man. I mean, that's a nightmare. I know. So what are they going to, they're going to go on the corner of some building. You have to wear a diaper, right? That or you pull down your
Starting point is 00:37:59 pants and pee in the street. And if you got there and you had something that they weren't going to allow into the viewing pen. They just turned you around. You weren't able to be able to set it down or forget it or anything. They never mind you. And they did a big story about how cool it was that Domino's was out there selling pizza to everybody at about 30, 33 bucks a pop. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Isn't that price gouging? Thank you. Isn't that emergency price couching? No, it's just a great thing. Arrest of Domino's pizza. I know. Wow. If you did that during a.
Starting point is 00:38:31 storm? Oh, yeah. They'd shut it down. Oh, they'd shut you down. Yeah. That would be the worst, the worst people on earth. Yes.
Starting point is 00:38:38 New Year's Eve. Oh, it's so great of them to be able to sell you a cheese pizza for 30 bucks a pot. Yeah. It must have made a fortune. Oh, yeah. I mean, they interviewed people. They were like, oh, yeah, it was so great. And they needed to come around.
Starting point is 00:38:50 And then you get to hear some rap artist I've never heard of as a treat. No, would you get to see the giant ball drop. And then the ball goes from way up there to down a little bit lower. Whoa. Well, it drops to zero, which is mid-down. I, come on. What a nightmare that is. I could not do it.
Starting point is 00:39:11 How is that fun? And then afterwards, how do you even get home? Because you can't get off that island when there's a million people trying to do the same thing? No way. Nightmare. Yeah, we're pretty hardcore part of years, as you could tell. Oh, man. At home.

Starting point is 00:42:26 You know where you turn. Psychic, Nikki. Of course you do. Psychic to the stars. Many of her predictions from last year came to fruition. And listen to what she forecast. Okay. You would never have seen these coming.
Starting point is 00:42:43 Worldwide protests. Yeah. I don't know where she came up with that, but that happened. It happened. Now, she said this was going to happen last year. Before it happened. Right. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:56 How about this? A roller coaster ride in the stock market. Meaning stocks will go up. Then they'll come down. Then they'll go back up again. Then they'll come back down again. Then they might even out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:11 And then even out for a little bit. But that happened. They went up and they came down and then they went up. So. So. I mean, right now you've already proven your point. Right. But there's more.
Starting point is 00:43:22 There's still more. Extreme weather events. Who would ever see an extreme weather event? What? Like a tornado or a hurricane? Snow? What? This was globally, though, right?
Starting point is 00:43:37 Yes. Yeah, okay. So somewhere. on the globe, there would be an extreme weather event. I mean, no normal person could have foreseen any of those events. You've got to
Starting point is 00:43:50 be psychic in order to come up with this. So, it didn't stop there either. Here's what she's saying this year. She's not resting on her laurels. Because after a year like that, I would just shut up and say, I know, I've done what I can. You saw what I did. I just showed you.
Starting point is 00:44:06 It just showed you. everything I can. This is psychic Nicky. Psychic Nikki. She now says, get this, Hillary Clinton, is a possible candidate
Starting point is 00:44:20 in the 2020 elections. Whoa. She's going right out of the limb already. Out of the blue. Which is what she says. If she does run, it will be out of the blue. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:34 All right. And she's not the only, possible eventual candidate. Michelle Obama could run. No, but who's ever considered that? And Oprah Winfrey? What? She doesn't say Oprah.
Starting point is 00:44:47 But she says Oprah could, could run. Regardless, she does see a female candidate in our future at some point. Thank you. I didn't, I didn't ever think there would be a female candidate. Did you? No, I mean, I don't like to be psychic. Aren't they all barefoot in kitchens somewhere? What?
Starting point is 00:45:11 Here's what she said, though. Get this. I feel good about Michelle Obama, although she could deny it. There could be a female vice president as well. I see the initials M.O. What? Can only mean one thing. Michelle Obama?
Starting point is 00:45:32 Right. Right? And look, Michelle. that's unbelievable wow again no normal person could have foreseen any of that uh no no but she says whoever winds up on the ballot they're going to have some serious issues well certainly global warming could make the list of serious issues what and this i'm quoting now and the new generation as well is going to be worried about climate and change and ecological disasters.
Starting point is 00:46:08 Wow. She is amazing. She's powerful, man. She is powerful. Don't mess with Psychicin Nikki. The psychic Nikki is she actually real? Yes, she's actually. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:46:24 Of course she is. Listen to this. I love this is my favorite part. Now, I'm quoting, now I see a lot of penguins and polar bears leaving the Arctic. If you see penguins leaving the Arctic, that would be amazing.
Starting point is 00:46:41 Well, I mean, they already have. There are no penguins in the Arctic. They're in the Antarctic. They already left. They left a long... They were ever there. They left a long time ago, went to the other end of the planet.
Starting point is 00:46:53 Okay? But now she sees a lot of penguins and Buller Bears leaving the Arctic and dying and coming down for food. All the Arctic Circle and all the ice shell. are melting. Greenland, Iceland. Greta, meaning Greta Thunberg, obviously, is certainly on the right track here, what she's doing.
Starting point is 00:47:11 I think she's really fantastic. And I think you're going to see more of these activists coming up, not just her, but others, the younger generation. So that's a trend, too, she says. Wow. Whoa. And there already is one from the younger generation. look at this climate change kid from Columbia you won't believe this
Starting point is 00:47:36 really yeah do we have the Colombian kid the 10 year old from Columbia we want to we have to care for the environment Columbia's leading climate fighter 10 years old there is no plan B he says this is the only planet in the universe
Starting point is 00:47:55 that harbors life and if it's the only one and it comes to an end, then life ends. Wow, that's powerful logic right there. So we spoke to the Colombian Senate. I call on you all as senators of the republic on the government and the Senate to legislate for life on the planet. Okay. You could stop that now. Wow.
Starting point is 00:48:17 Wow, that's powerful. Now, apparently he knows that there is no other life anywhere in the universe. So this kid's in the know and we should listen to him. Look, because he's 10. They are, though. Yeah. They are. I know.
Starting point is 00:48:33 I mean, and we had, I mean, Angela Merkel. Is it Angola? It's Angola Merkel? She even said that in one of her year-end speeches that everything humanly possible has to be done to deal with climate change during the new year. I mean, okay. She's right. And she probably got that from the 10-year-old from Columbia. Or psychic Nikki.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Or psychic Nikki. Who had more predictions. Get this. As if all this weren't enough yet to show you the power of psychic Nikki. I mean, I'm ready to have a sit down. I want to see what's in front of that. I'm glad you're sitting because you'd fall over if it weren't for the fact that you're sitting right now. You still might.
Starting point is 00:49:16 I don't know. You might tip right over backwards in your chair when you hear this. It's going to blow you away. I'm quoting now. A lot of people will have their own businesses. Wait. No. When will that start to happen?
Starting point is 00:49:30 Aren't all businesses government owned? How is that possible? I think they'll work out of home. I don't think there's going to be a lot of stores in the next 10 years. Now, wow. Some people might say, well, she read the article where 9,400 businesses closed last year. And she's just extrapolating that that's going to continue because of the internet. But no, she's foreseeing all of this.
Starting point is 00:49:55 She says, get this, people are shopping online. What? Stores are going bankrupt. I think everybody's going to do it from one master big computer where they can go and do whatever they want. Right. Then she says, a lot of people will retire. The baby boom will retire earlier. Well, let's see.
Starting point is 00:50:22 If you're in the baby boom generation, they already retired. If you're on the mid to upper end of it, you're already retired. I'm on the lower end of the baby boom generation. I don't know, dying. Yeah. So. Yeah. But they're, I mean, they're what, 80 some of them, 85 in the baby boom generation.
Starting point is 00:50:44 And she says, and the next generation, their home life will be more luxurious because they're going to have everything they want right there. Get this. Imagine a world. Like psychic Nikki predicts. where there won't be a need to go to a movie, they'll have it in their home. What? You mean like something like on demand?
Starting point is 00:51:04 What? That's not possible. Or a streaming service? That is not possible. I can't even imagine it. I'm not going to be able to stay at my home and watch a film or watch a show. You can't promise these things to me and get my hopes up like this and then squash him. I hope she's right about this.
Starting point is 00:51:21 What are you talking about? Get this. If you want. to order food. You can get it in your home. Huh. Is she? What would you call that? Like DoorDash or, um, Uber eats? I mean, I'm just taking stabs in the dark. You know, I'm, I'm pursuing maybe a company called Grubhub. What? I know. It's a silly name. It's a silly name. But they would just bring food to you, whatever, you know, just bring it to you. How would they do that, though? Well, I see, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:51:54 I don't know. Maybe we asked, like, Nikki, because I don't know how that stuff works. Okay. I mean, you go online, and then you'd order what you wanted, and then you'd tell them where you were at, and then someone would bring it to you there, I guess. Do they make it at their house and then bring it to your house? Well, they'd make it from the, I guess, I don't know. I don't know, Pat. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:52:14 Because it couldn't drive to a store, pick it up there and then take it to your house. Now you're just being sick. There's too many steps involved there. Oh, you just. She's got some numbers, too, for you. Oh, boy. If you're a numbers player, I don't know what you'd do with these numbers. Maybe you play the lottery with them.
Starting point is 00:52:29 But here's what I'm quoting. These are quotes. I like 10 for you. I like the number 10. I love the number 10. I like the number four, which is unlikely. Hold on. 10.
Starting point is 00:52:40 I like the number four, which is unlucky for some people, but lucky. What? Wait. Wait, what? It's unlucky for some people, but lucky. Yeah. Okay. Then she goes further.
Starting point is 00:52:53 13 is usually bad luck in North America and good luck in Europe. I like 13. Yeah. Okay. So, so far we've got 10, 4, 13. And that's what she says. I've got 10, 4, and 13.
Starting point is 00:53:10 But there's more. It doesn't help me in the lottery for you know. Well, I guess there's more. Yeah, it does. I love 21 for you. Okay. So she loves 21. And then I like 22.
Starting point is 00:53:20 Ooh. How about that? Okay. I love 19. Oh. So 18's gone. 18's out the window. It's a stupid.
Starting point is 00:53:29 I mean, I know it's your number because that's all you can say, but she doesn't like it for you. Okay. So then there's, let's review here. There's 10, 4, 13, 21, 22, and 19. Okay. And I'm further quoting. And I like five. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:47 That's my power play. Five. Five is the power. Okay. So 10. 4, 13, 21, 22, and 19. And she likes 5 for you. All right, excellent.
Starting point is 00:53:57 Yeah. If you think I'm not playing those numbers, you are sadly mistaken. I like the number 46, if anybody's interested. And 47. Well, you're not Nicky. I know. So don't even start with me. But I do like 48 for you.
Starting point is 00:54:11 And 12. I like 12. Well, you know what? You know what I love 12? A lot of people don't like 18, but I think it's lucky. You like it, right? Even though it's unlucky, it's lucky. Lucky. Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:25 So weird and so stupid. I mean, how many times do we have to be shown how un-psychic these psychics are? I mean, sure, there's some that are real. No. Sure, there's some that are real. I can see the future and know that. Only the ones with the 1-900 numbers from years ago. Remember them?
Starting point is 00:54:46 Some of those were actually real, yes. You're right about that. Yeah. If you experience pain on a daily basis, I know exactly how you feel. It can be debilitating. It can control your life. The aches are easy to understand. When it really hurts to do the basic chores, emotionally, the effects of pain can be just
Starting point is 00:55:10 as dramatic. I have spoken to so many people in this audience that has started to take relief factor. The change emotionally is as dramatic as the physical relief, maybe even more. As you might know, Tanya and I started taking relief factor several months ago. After about 10 days, subtle changes started to become significant, and I've been able to stop taking all prescription pain medications, all pain medications entirely, and stop the terrible side effects of those awful drugs. Many on my team, here are the Blaze, are faithful takers of the 100% drug-free relief factor, and we have had great success in taking our lives back. Try it. Get a three-week quick start package for only 1995. Take it as directed. That's less than a dollar per day, and if it works on you like it has with me, you're going to get it. It's your life back.
Starting point is 00:55:54 Relieffactor.com. Pat Gray and Jeff E for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program. AAA 727 B-E-C-K. She also likes psychic Mickey does robots in the future. No. Yeah, robots are going to be a thing, I guess. At some point, I mean, this sounds ridiculous. What are we, Twilight Zone territory now?
Starting point is 00:56:28 But she says a lot of people are going to retire and robots are going to replace some of them. Oh, no. And here's what she speculated on. maybe I'm just trying to make it as spine chilling as it really is you know
Starting point is 00:56:45 maybe a robot will come and deliver no like a I don't know a drone sort of robot sort of situation I know that sounds strange she says but I really see it when the computers weren't here
Starting point is 00:57:03 people said that's not going to happen well the robot are going to take over for sure. There's going to be flying robots, small robots. In the future, they'll all be robots. You may have a robotic wife or husband or boss. Wow. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:57:25 You might have a robot boss right now and you just don't even know it. Thank you, Psychic Nikki, for these incredible chilling. Because there wouldn't be. There's no companies out there using robots. now. No. I mean, that's unheard of. Yeah, it's crazy. Science fiction stuff. It's not a company like, I don't know, Amazon using 200,000 already. Right. You know, doing jobs. Here's the sad part, though. There are people who swear by psychics like this and kind of map out their life. Well, I swear by, you know, the ones that know what they're talking about. No. Psychic Nikki.
Starting point is 00:58:00 I don't even think psychic Nikki is real. She is real. No. She's absolutely. Look her up. Look her up. psychic Nikki is real she's a psychic to the stars in fact Hollywood actors and actresses use psychic Nikki for I don't know what they're lucky numbers or something I I don't know maybe to plan what movies they do claims to be an astrologer and a clairvoyant wow see she claims to have all right so I apologize she is real she claims to have inherited her gifts from her father who had the as well.
Starting point is 00:58:39 So her father may have actually seen, I don't know, people moving in vehicles with round things underneath them. I don't know. I don't know if he was that. Round rubber things, like four of them. I don't know if you could see something like that, yeah. That would be her father. Yeah. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:58:59 You're right, Pat. I mean, there are... She's the real deal, man. She's the real deal. I'm saying she's the real deal. She's legit. And you could get a reading from her too. I don't know that I want to, I don't want it. Do we have a pricing structure? I wonder what that would cost to get a reading from psychic Nikki. I'd like to know. A much of these scam artists actually get milk people. Yeah, scam people would charge you way too much. But whatever psychic Nikki is charging you. Whatever she charges.
Starting point is 00:59:26 Thank you. Because if you want to know what's happening in your future, she is the one to tell you. Available readings. We have to talk to her. We do. We do. I would love to. Let's work on that for tomorrow See if we can get psychic Nicky on to tell us about some of these chilling predictions Yes, we have to talk about psychic Nikki and see what she has to say Because again, no normal person could see any of this stuff
Starting point is 00:59:50 In the future Well, none of it. None of it Get this too. Last year during the year, she actually predicted a Donald Trump impeachment process. Nobody saw that coming. No, she did not.
Starting point is 01:00:03 Despite the fact that every single person in the Democrat Party was talking impeachment, the day he was inaugurated. You could have never foreseen an impeachment process. Wow. Is she something else? She sees more surprises, too. She doesn't name what they are,
Starting point is 01:00:19 but there's going to be more surprises in 2020 this election year. Hmm. Wow. I just, I mean, there's a whole list here. It's hard to leave. I've even got a phone number now. Oh, you got a phone number?
Starting point is 01:00:35 Okay, good. Yeah. Definitely have to do that. And she, of course, likes Greta, Greta Thunberg. Greta Thunberg's parents, apparently, they say, thought her climate activism was going to be a bad idea. But she had gotten so depressed because of the climate change she was learning about and thought she had no future. They said, okay, well, honey, you can go out and talk to people about it. And so that's kind of saved her sanity, I guess, and she's out talking about.
Starting point is 01:01:07 Rather than saying, hey, Greta, don't listen to everything they're saying to you on this climate change thing. Don't let them scare you out of your mind because it's really not a thing. Okay? No. The planet has warmed less than one degree in a hundred years. It's not that big a deal. Okay? It'll let you know if it is.
Starting point is 01:01:26 It'll be okay. Yeah. It would have been a kind of a cool parenting thing to do, but no, that's not what they did. Triple-A-7-27-B-E-C-K. You're listening to Glenn. back. 11 student groups, including the Harvard College Democrats, signed a petition accusing their school paper
Starting point is 01:01:45 of showing cultural insensitivity for contacting ICE for a comment after a protest against the agency on campus. That's it. They just reached out for a comment. Thankfully, there is something we can do about the madness and the destruction of our civilization by these woke activists. It's as simple as a service you use every day.

Starting point is 01:03:08 No, that's not true. Right? No, that's not true. Yeah, it is. No, it's six to eight central, seven to nine Eastern. Wow. No, that is true. You're right.
Starting point is 01:03:18 Yeah, you're right. I don't even know when the show's on. So you can listen live or watch live or, you know, check it out on the podcast. Starting point is 01:03:43 So we just happened to be looking over some of the, I don't know, she's got like 600 predictions, the psychic Nikki predictions. Actually, I don't know that I want to read anymore because I know. It's too scary. It is so, so chilling. But I guess a monster storm is going to hit Boston sometime. Oh, no. I can't even conceive of such a thing.
Starting point is 01:04:06 That is way too far out there. Where did she predict the tornadoes are going to happen? Giant tornadoes. In places like Texas. in Kansas, Missouri, and Missouri, where they almost always happen. Yes. But they're going to again, she predicts. So, I.
Starting point is 01:04:30 Unbelievable. I don't know if it's possible. I don't think it's possible. Chilling. Well, this, uh, this really hacks me off. Prediction number 203. A few, she sees a few problems around the marriage of Barack and Michelle Obama. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:04:45 No, I won't hear of it. No, that's not even possible. those two lovebirds could never have a problem in their marriage. They're too perfect. They would never have a problem in their marriage. Have you seen her arms? Look at her arms. I have.
Starting point is 01:05:03 A new species of snail will be found. See? Actually, I couldn't have seen that. I could not have foreseen that. Only psychic Nikki could do that. So, I mean, these are amazing. Some of them are amazing. Yeah, you know what?
Starting point is 01:05:21 That's the word. That's the word because number 43 in her, one of her predictions is a famous divorce in Washington, D.C. No. I mean, all these predictions, now, seriously. Oh, she predicts Kellyanne Conway will divorce. Now, they're fighting on Twitter all the time. She and her husband. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:05:45 I think they're. What? You think it's a show? It seemed to be, yeah, they seem to be, you know, fine with it? Yeah, they seem to be okay with the opposite. Yeah, I don't know what's going on there. But she predicts they're going to divorce.
Starting point is 01:06:01 Well, then it's going to happen because psychic Nikki says so. Right. And look, when you're a psychic, and I've been, you know, off and on psychic over the years, you see things and they come to you, and sometimes they're a little blurry. and you're not quite sure, you know, but you have to report them. That's where the phrase, I see this around you. So it's a little nebulous because it's a little foggy in your vision there. So I see it happening around you.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Well, what does that mean? That means I don't see it exactly, but I see it around you, you know. It's there. Right. Yeah. Okay, a shark, prediction number 324 for the year. A shark will kill a movie star. Wow.
Starting point is 01:06:48 That would be, if that happens, I'm going to believe in psychic nicky, if that happens. Now, this one is so far out there. I hate to even say it out loud, but it's 334 on her list. A bank robbery in Chicago, Illinois. I don't see that happening. I mean, that just can't happen. It can't. This is kind of interesting, too.
Starting point is 01:07:15 345, a baseball team is going to be kidnapped in. for ransom. Baseball team? Like the Yankees or you're seeing that around the Major League baseball or is this little kids playing baseball or the kind of baseball team
Starting point is 01:07:31 are we talking about here? I don't know. A plane will be hijacked in Houston. That would be amazing too because when was the last time anything it was hijacked? Huh. That went, I mean, 9-11, right? I mean, I don't know the answer to that, but I'm guessing that it's 9-11.
Starting point is 01:07:54 She's got 675 predictions on the year. Well, just on that list. Oh, and then she's got star predictions. Yeah, she's got star predictions. Oh, I like number one. Kanye West will have a meltdown. What are the odds of that? Nobody could foresee that.
Starting point is 01:08:07 And you've got wild international weather predictions, which is where the giant tornadoes are going to, you know, came down. Okay. All right. And it's, it's got 56 of those. She's got royal. and she's got death and health watch list. I mean, you've got to be right on a couple of these. Yeah, because she predicted like 200 people are going to die. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:28 Well, some of them came true. She's got everybody from Tony Bennett to Bill Cosby. Elon Musk, Ivanka Trump. Oh, this is a death and health watch. So she's covered there. Like if any of them get a cold, see? I told you. Tell you.
Starting point is 01:08:46 Health watch. She, they had poor health for three days. Told you. Right. I'd hate to be on that list, though. Right. Well, that would bother me. I mean, she's also said, and this, this, someone should get messages to George Clooney because this is, he made the list.
Starting point is 01:09:05 Oh, no. He needs to be, uh, careful around motorcycles and cars. The rest of us don't. We can just cross the street. Willie nilly. Doesn't matter. Well, no, not willy-nilly. Maybe higgly pigly.
Starting point is 01:09:17 Okay, Higgily Piggly crossing the street. We don't have to worry about motorcycles or cars. George Clinton is just to be concerned. You better look both ways before you cross, George. Thank you. You better do that because psychic Nikki says you need to be careful. All right. AAA 93393.
Starting point is 01:09:35 Also, did you see the Boeing who's trying to get into the space race along with Amazon, Elon Musk, a whole bunch of Virgin Atlanta? They all want a piece of that. Yeah. Richard Bronson, Boeing failed at getting their Starliner craft to dock with the space station. Yeah, it went up and it was such a good deal. But they went, oh, gee. Didn't quite have it in the right orbit. Just bring it back.
Starting point is 01:10:03 Let's bring it back. How is it possible that we're actually worse at spaceflight now in 20? Well, now it's 2020. How are we worse at 2020 than we were in 1969? I don't know that we are, really. It kind of feels like we are. I mean, we're still, we've got plenty of, so what, we still have to hit your ride. Right, with the Russians.
Starting point is 01:10:27 Hey, can we, can we bum a ride off you to a space station for a year or two? And then you give us a ride back. It's a round trip. We'd like to. Yeah, no. We were going to set somebody up to get our guy, but we couldn't quite get it right. It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing.
Starting point is 01:10:46 And I thought, you know, I thought that the, and maybe, maybe it will turn out that private business is doing this. It has, right? I mean, they're doing. But they've had some issues like this space stocking thing. I know, we're sending up, you know, hundreds of billions of satellites every day. And, you know, they're all, you know, those seem to be fine. And Elon's, you know, sending his rockets up and bringing him back. And we do it.
Starting point is 01:11:07 We've had, we've had some success. And I think Virgin, I think Virgin has gone, gone out into space and come back. and they're getting ready for try to sell some space flights. I'm not sure about what's Amazon. Blue origin. Blue origin is Amazon, right? Yes. And so I don't know what kind of what's ready to Sessie's had.
Starting point is 01:11:27 Is I think ready to do like space tourists this year. But you barely get into like the outer atmosphere. You don't actually get into space. You get to a weightless condition for about 30 seconds and you come right back. We are not driving you by the space. for a wave. No. You're not going to orbit the Earth.
Starting point is 01:11:48 And you know what that costs? $250,000. I mean, you say that like... Like it's a lot. Like it's a lot. Okay. You get me to the edge of space and I'll float for 10 seconds. I mean, we saw a guy for Red Bull.
Starting point is 01:12:01 Do that in the balloon. Big deal. I don't, man, that doesn't seem worth it. Now, if you take me up there for a week or something and I'm orbiting the Earth... Seriously, even just a... Let me fly by. Give me a drive by the... space station. Let me wave. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:16 Right. Halk the horn. Or flash a light to me. Dock it. Let me stay a night. Well, not for $250,000. What are you? Crazy. This isn't Motel 6, my friend. We're not leaving the light on for you. Okay. Not for 250,000. You're going to be paying more for that for a night.
Starting point is 01:12:35 Yeah. I would think that price would come down, though. I would hope. It would hope. Or just the edge? Yeah, for just the edge of space. Okay, that's it. Not worth it. No, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:12:50 Because we've been, you know. I mean, if you've got your buddy, $250,000. Yeah, that's like nothing. Yeah, just throw it away. I spit $250,000. Yeah. But for those of us that are, you know, maybe looking $250,000 as a stretch.
Starting point is 01:13:08 What do you pay? $150,000 is that what you'd pay for? That's the top. I'm not paying any more than that. I wonder what that will eventually come down to. Because it always, with new technology, it always starts sky high like this. Like you remember when the flat screen TVs were $10,000? Sadly, I do.
Starting point is 01:13:26 And now they're, you know, you can get a really gigantic TV for $500, $600 now. Oh, some of those are cheaper than that even. Yeah, like the smaller, like the 45-inchers or whatever, I've seen those for two or 300. On Deal Dash, some client bought one for 10 cents or whatever.
Starting point is 01:13:49 That commercial is amazing to me. I bought this 900 foot television for $1.50. I bought this Mercedes Benz. Planned new S-500
Starting point is 01:14:04 class 550 for just $28 $28. Did you really? Wow. Yes, I did. That's a good deal. Is that typical of the deals I can get a DoorDash?
Starting point is 01:14:17 It could be. It could be. I bought my house. 28,000 square feet for $93. That's going to happen to you. Just go to deal dash.com. All right.
Starting point is 01:14:36 Triple-8-933. more Glenn Beck for No, Pat Gray and Jeffie over there, for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. You're listening to Glenn Beck. You know, there's a saying in business, if you don't know your numbers,
Starting point is 01:14:55 you don't know your business. And now the rapid pace of business, it's hard to keep up with those numbers. Can you afford to expand? Can you make that new hire? It's amazing that football's almost over, isn't it? It's incredible to me. It's serious. Something Glenn would never, he would never complain about or ruminate over.
Starting point is 01:16:24 football season is almost over. To actual men, I think a lot of us are concerned about the fact that football is almost over. I know we have the new league starting up. All right? That's going to start up pretty soon. So maybe we... The XFL? Is that a little bit of that?
Starting point is 01:16:39 It's in the spring, right? Or are they doing the fall? Yeah. We're close to it right after the Super Bowl. So I don't know. But college, I'm more of a college football guy than I am NFL. But I mean, I'm there with the NFL. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:53 And let's just stop. I mean, I know we joke around about there were, you know, the 800 bowl games that happened since the 1st of December till now, still ongoing until the 13th. But it's nice to have those games. It is. It's nice to have those games there. It just is.
Starting point is 01:17:10 I know, I know, you know, you don't really care about Northern Illinois State School of the Blind. Yeah. But you watch them. But when they play Cinesias, it's, you throw out all the records, man. And one of those two six and six teams going up against each other on December 4th. But I love it. I do too. You turn on the TV and there's always a bowl game on.
Starting point is 01:17:37 I like that. I do too. Including today, there's going to be more today. There's probably one playing right now. Just TV art. Don't go there. Right, right. So I bet it just goes by so fast.
Starting point is 01:17:51 It's just amazing. And it's amazing Christmas is over. years is over and here we are at January 2nd. Happy New Year, by the way. Happy, Happy New Year. Other way. People will still be saying that March 3rd. They will. Or 30th. March 30th, people will still be wishing you a happy new year. And I call moratorium on that. We need to stop that. Stop it.
Starting point is 01:18:16 All right. Triple 8-933. Also, Ed Pat unleashed on Twitter. Let me show you how some of these extreme, what are they calling it, extreme chaos, climate people or extreme something or other, they're standing out in the middle of the street again in Washington, D.C., blocking commuters. Take a look at this, and you're going to see some real happy people. Really? Yeah, some really happy people about the protesting going. When do we want it? Now, we've got to climate justice.
Starting point is 01:18:47 We're going to be. Sometimes soon. I'll listen to this. What strategy would you suggest? Not making me burn more gas by sitting here at traffic. I could. I don't know how long this is going to take. Oh, we're going to be here a while.
Starting point is 01:19:02 I'm trying to be here all day, sir. Unreal. For the climate. I've got to be here into the planet. For the climate. Yeah. All right, man. You pat me on the arm.
Starting point is 01:19:10 I'm smacking you in the face. All right. You can stop that. So these commuters are trying to get to work, and these people are standing in the middle of the street. I'm driving through them. I am too. Slowly?
Starting point is 01:19:22 But I'm driving through. I have made a conscious decision. If that happens, I'm driving through it. I yell out my window. You better get out of the way because I'm going to work. And you're not going to stop me. I don't know that I yell out my window, but... I'm telling them.
Starting point is 01:19:35 I'm telling them, and then I'm going. I'm going to hawk my heart and go. Hawk my heart and go. You know, and don't try to hurt them, but drive slowly through them. I'm moving my vehicle through you. They will move. I guarantee it. They'll move.
Starting point is 01:19:47 Right? Yeah. The problem is they'll beat on your car and they'll dent it and they'll ruin your paint job. but at least she'll get to work. You're listening to Glenn Beck. The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck program.
Starting point is 01:20:16 With Pat and Jeffrey today for Glenn, who is back on Monday. AAA 727 B-E-C-K. Still have a lot to talk about, you know, the impeachment processes. Will Nancy Pelosi, when they come back from break? which I think is Monday, right? I don't think they're back yet. They're not coming back today. They wouldn't come back end of the week, right?
Starting point is 01:20:41 Is the second? No, I don't think so. Yeah, I think they'll come back next week, January 6th or whatever. Will they then send the articles of impeachment to the Senate and get this thing going? I say no. I say no, too. I think they're trying to stretch this out for whatever reason. I don't know why.
Starting point is 01:20:58 You know, we talked a little bit earlier about the possibility of, you know, stretching it out until after the election and hope. that it works out, you know, a better time to send it to the Senate. But, I mean, that's a silly outlook. Yeah. I don't think it's working for them. No, it's not at all. I think it's alienating people more than anything else.
Starting point is 01:21:17 We'll get into that and much more in 60 seconds. This is the Glenn Beck program. According to the census, only one in five homes have any home security. Probably because most companies don't make it easy. With complicated installations, long-term contracts, astronomical monthly. fees. But SimpleSafe is different, and that's why they've been my choice for home security for a very long time. You get smart lock and video doorbell to defend your front door against porch pirates and an arsenal of sensors to cover every inch of your home. And with SimplySafe,

This is your last chance to take advantage of SimpliSafe's amazing holiday savings. 25% off your system plus a free HD security camera with your order. SimplySafe. They rarely run deals this big. So now is your chance. I have not seen a deal this good until now at SimplySafebeck.com. But hurry, the sale ends January 7th. That's simplysafebac.com. Simply safebeck.com. Pat and Jeffie for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program, AAA 727BEC. So you still are Disney Plus free, right? I am.
Starting point is 01:22:46 Because you've been claiming for a look. I'm going to get that. I'm going to get it. I'm good. I'm good. I'm going to get it. I know. I want to see Magillaria. I'm waiting.
Starting point is 01:22:56 I want to see Madelari. I'm going to get it. But you haven't gotten it. No. Still haven't gotten it. No. You have the app, right? I see it on the screen.
Starting point is 01:23:08 Every time I open up the app. There it is. No, you know, baby. because I'm cable free now. You can't. Are you really? Cable free now, 100%. Okay, so you've saved a lot of money doing that.
Starting point is 01:23:19 But, you know, you got some money to spend on it. But, you know, like I've got YouTube TV now. That's like 55 bucks a month. Is it really? Yeah. And do you get live sports on that? Yeah, that's the only reason I got it. I got live sports and I get Walking Dead, which I do.
Starting point is 01:23:33 Oh. It's like an AMC. Yeah. So if I could, you know, we'll see. But I've got all. You're not going to get it. You're not going to get it. are you just you're just
Starting point is 01:23:44 I've heard a lot of people have cancelled their subscription after the Mandalorian's over with yeah that wouldn't surprise me yeah I mean there were only eight episodes eight and I got we had torn reviews through the whole thing right now you watched them all right you've seen them all so yeah reviews from you
Starting point is 01:24:03 that I got from the first let's say the first quarter to half went to kind of okay to better. Yeah. And then at the end, really good. Really good. That seems to be the overall review package of it.
Starting point is 01:24:18 Yeah. Yeah. I thought the last two episodes were really good. Yeah. And got me interested. And now it's over. Okay, good. Now I'm really into it.
Starting point is 01:24:28 And I want to see more. And now how long do I have to wait? A year and a half? Maybe. A year? I don't know. But you can go back and watch season one, whatever you want, right?
Starting point is 01:24:38 On demand. Yes, I can. And then there's, There's so much other Disney stuff on the app you can go and watch. Yes, there is. They're sleeping beauty, a little mermaid. That's what I mean. That's why I'm questioning getting it.
Starting point is 01:24:49 Yeah. Now that I have it, I'm questioning having it. I know. Although I like it for Mandalorian. I'm with you. And they're coming out with a... It's nice to say you have. And apparently, there's an Obi-Wan Kenobi series like the Mandalorian coming to Disney Plus.
Starting point is 01:25:07 Okay. This year. Okay. this year. All right. At least that's what I just read. So since where this is what the third of the year, the third day of the year. So it's the second day of the year.
Starting point is 01:25:18 This December 20th next year you're going to have the new. Yeah. I'll maybe. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know when it comes out. Maybe it comes out soon, which would be nice to tide you over until Mandeloria comes back. It's just that.
Starting point is 01:25:33 And they did it in probably a good way because it stretched it out for eight weeks. You know, because they only gave you one at a time. They didn't give you the whole season at once, which is what on Netflix, that's what Lost in Space just did. Now, I waited a year and a half. I didn't even care about it. I'd forgotten what happened. And I thought, I'll try it.
Starting point is 01:25:55 And I was hooked right away. Watched all 10 episodes. I'm done. Whole season's gone. Yeah. Now it's another year and a half again before I see that again. That's worth the binge, right? It was.
Starting point is 01:26:05 It was worth the binge. I liked it. It was fun. It does that. You know, I mean, I love. I love that. I don't want to hear wait around that whole appointment watching. No, thank you.
Starting point is 01:26:16 Right. Right. Don't make me wait until Friday. Give it to me right now. And I'll just watch one after another. I'll worry about. What do you care about? I'll worry about what I'm watching.
Starting point is 01:26:24 Thank you. I'll worry about what I'm done after when I've done, all right? It's true. And I think what Disney was counting on is that they probably knew, okay, as soon as this is over. A lot of people are going to just cancel. So maybe that's why they stretched it out for eight minutes. And they give you the eight weeks and you find other stuff that's on the... Right.
Starting point is 01:26:42 Yeah, there's no reason. By then, by then the kids are already enjoying it every day, so you're not going to get rid of it. Right. Yeah. What I think Disney needs is more original programming. I mean, that's exclusive to Disney Plus. And it's a good thing that Disney won't be able to afford producing any of that.
Starting point is 01:27:00 They've got no money. They don't know what they're doing. They only made like, what was it? They've got like... $3 billion on their movies last year? At least. That's just on movies. At least.
Starting point is 01:27:10 Yeah. Yeah. Then you got the parks and you got ABC television and you got Hulu. Then you got all these other, you know, the Star Wars franchise. You've got the Marvel. Well, the Marvel probably all of that fit into the movies, the movie intake. Yeah, yeah. What else?
Starting point is 01:27:25 ESPN. Sports. I mean, come on. I think they made something like, I don't know, 10 billion in profit or something. Something close to that. They've got the money. Bob, by here, man. That guy does not know what he's doing.
Starting point is 01:27:36 They've had some brilliant leaders. They certainly have, yeah. they've been really fortunate since Walt died that they got some really good leaders in the 80s they didn't and look how it floundered they had the black caldron
Starting point is 01:27:49 you know they just stumbled around in the darkness for a while until they finally got leadership that was what's his face Eisenberg in the first place right? I don't remember
Starting point is 01:28:03 is that his name Eisenberg I believe so and then Iger after that yeah and they were both excellent leaders for and got him back on track all those places need that right I mean we just we just lost
Starting point is 01:28:15 you know David Stern the former NBA commissioner yeah really horrible that we lost him but I'm not a big NBA fan but when he was he was the visionary for that league
Starting point is 01:28:26 right I mean all these leagues it got him to where they are yeah I mean these guys all have these visions and if they take it to the next level it works yeah it does you know all right triple eight 900, no, triple 8, 727,
Starting point is 01:28:42 B, E, C, K. If you'd like to get involved in the broadcast, we've got to talk about this. A little incident that happened in Kansas, where the officer got a cup of coffee at a McDonald's with the words effing pig written on the cup. So, of course, people went into high,
Starting point is 01:29:08 gear looking for the guilty employee and they didn't find out. Oh wait. No? Yeah, no. I love this story because originally they he posted in the police department say you know it's a horrible thing and they posted and then the McDonald's owner is like
Starting point is 01:29:25 I don't think my employees would have done something like that. Let's go back and look at all the videotape we have of the store. Oh wow. Oh wait no. None of my employees did do that. Hello, police department. None of my employees did do that. And here's proof. Yeah. This is unfortunate because this is the first one I've seen along these lines where a police officer has done something like this and then claimed, because usually it happens the other way around or it's Islamic discrimination where they're crying about Trump supporters and then it
Starting point is 01:29:58 didn't really happen. Yeah. How many times have we seen that? A lot. Yeah, many times. but now you've got the police force doing it he was only on the police force I mean he wasn't on the police force very long I'm not sure you know he was in the military before that I'm not sure what you hoped to accomplish yeah I don't know from doing something like that I don't either it's weird say that it was a joke because you get caught every time you get caught every time
Starting point is 01:30:26 and you're right the manager or the store owner We thoroughly reviewed our security video from every angle, which clearly shows the words, were not written by one of our employees. And good for him for believing his employees. Right. I mean, the employees are like, well, we don't know what he's talking about. Right. And so instead of just saying, you know, while we've, the entire crew that served the police officer,
Starting point is 01:30:53 we've fired and we've backed it up and having, you know, the world's come to an end. He believed his workers. Good for him. Yeah. Yeah. The guy had been with the department for two months. Yeah, not very long at all. Why would you do this?
Starting point is 01:31:05 He said he did it as a joke. What? No. That's not funny. What do you mean? You did it as a joke. Ha ha ha ha ha. Oh, right.
Starting point is 01:31:13 You claimed that somebody wrote that. Right. It wasn't described as a joke. Right. You were pissed off about it. And you were trying to get somebody fired at the, at the McDonald's apparently. That's not a joke. No.
Starting point is 01:31:26 No, it's not a joke at all. I don't know why you would do that. It's really strange. I don't know. what you get out of it. And this was in Kansas. Maybe he thinks it's not, I mean, in today's world, you know, everything goes national so fast that, you know,
Starting point is 01:31:38 I don't know what you're hoping to think nobody's going to hear about it. So you're just going to be the, you know, get free coffee from your McDonald's the rest of your life. I mean, I don't know what you hope. Maybe that's what you're looking for? Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. Triple-8-7-27-B-E-C-K.

Starting point is 01:33:09 It's Pat and Jeffrey for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program, AAA 727. B-E-C-K. Apparently there was a tragedy on New Year's Eve in Houston. Yes. During a celebration. How many times do we hear this over and over again? It happens and it's so sad when it happens. And it's because people, I guess, think that when you fire a weapon. Right.
Starting point is 01:33:32 The bullet goes up into the air and then through the atmosphere into space. It's flying around. I mean, a bullet does more than the space companies do. Yeah, it actually goes up into space. It just flies around. It just flies around. Or it blows up in the atmosphere. Right.
Starting point is 01:33:46 You know, once it's up there, if it's just gone, it's over. Yeah, it just leaves. It's not what happens? What do you mean? The bullet goes up in the air and then it decides, you know what, it's time to come down and it comes down. Huh.
Starting point is 01:33:59 That's called gravity. It is. Gravity. If I'm not mistaken, yeah, gravity. It is. That's what happened. And people are fired off weapons. What went up did come down.
Starting point is 01:34:11 On New Year's, on New Year's Eve or New Year's, celebrating the new year in Houston, and a family is out in their driveway, and the mom all of a sudden bullet in her neck. Oh. And they don't even know where it came from.
Starting point is 01:34:26 Jeez. And killed her? Yeah. I mean, now the, you know, the family's lost their mom, sister, wife, whatever. Because somebody fired a gun in the air. Right. And they didn't even know where it came.
Starting point is 01:34:37 They're looking for shells. They're looking for banging on all the doors. I mean, that's unbelievable. came from in the United States of America. That's unbelievable. It sure is. Now maybe, you know, maybe you have the bullet, you know, you're able to, you know, find out what gun it came from if it's possible. Maybe, you know, at some point down the line, you find out who shot the weapon.
Starting point is 01:35:01 But, I mean, as horrible as it is, obviously the person didn't mean to harm anyone. but the point is not firing the weapon into the air. Yeah, that's a good safety tip. Yeah, good safety tip. What goes up? It does definitely come down. I don't want to speak for the NRA? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:19 Because, I mean. But you think they frown on that? I would think that they frown on that. I think they do too. Yeah, they're kind of into gun safety. And that doesn't seem safe. No, it doesn't. To me, just randomly firing bullets into the air.
Starting point is 01:35:31 No. I never understood that. I really don't understand it. And I never understood, you know, obviously in a, you know, in a suburban setting. Ridiculous. It's, it's asinine.
Starting point is 01:35:43 And really sad. And a real tragedy occurred because of it this time. Jeez. I, you know, what does it take to get through to people?
Starting point is 01:35:52 I don't know. I don't know the answer to that. Now, are they sure it came from like up above or it wasn't fired from like a drive-by thing? That's what they said. Yeah, they said that it came from up above.
Starting point is 01:36:03 Oh, man. AAA 727, BECK. Let's go to Mark in Pennsylvania. Hey, Mark, you're on the Glymbach program. Good morning. Good morning, gentlemen, and I use that term loosely. Yes. Well, okay. You were speaking about Nancy Pelosi holding up these, the impeachment. Yeah, the trial. I'm pretty sure there's this pesky little thing in the Bill of Rights about the right to a speedy trial. Oh, yeah. Hmm. Now, does that not count? Yeah, I guess not. It doesn't apply to presidents. I don't think so. I guess. No, that probably doesn't count for the Senate.
Starting point is 01:36:39 No, that doesn't count. Yeah, of course that counts. And I don't know how long you can delay this thing and still call it speedy. But if they try to stretch this out until, say, the election, that certainly doesn't qualify as speed. I don't think. Yeah. Appreciate the call. That's a good.
Starting point is 01:36:58 I mean, we'd have to pay storage on that, too. Yeah. Right. Well, right. Look, there's all kinds of things because nobody really knows what she's doing, right? or at least nobody's who, anyone who does hasn't raised their hand and said, I know what she's doing. She told me.
Starting point is 01:37:13 So, I mean, it's really a strange direction to take. It is. It is. Appreciate it. Thanks, Mark. And it's a hard sell, I think, to the American people. Because the American people think, okay, well, you impeached him. Let's have the trial.
Starting point is 01:37:27 Do what you're supposed to do. Right. If it was important enough for you to rush this thing through in three or four weeks, why isn't it important enough to get those articles now that you just passed over to the center? And obviously it wasn't important than Nancy. She didn't want to do it. I mean, she didn't want to do it to begin with. Well, she just wants because she knew this wasn't going to help politically.
Starting point is 01:37:50 And it's not helping politically. No, correct. So now that they've actually impeached him, though, they still have that. And they can still use that during the campaign, which I think they will all the time. time. They'll talk about, you know, you want to elect a president who's been impeached. I would think it would work better for the Democrats to have it go to the Senate and get it. Well, he's going to be, he's going to be cleared in the Senate. And they don't want that. But still, you're able to say, you know, we impeached him. We did our job. Those darn Republicans.
Starting point is 01:38:28 Right. And they will. They'll do that. Right. But now all you've got is, you know, we impeached him and. And nothing. And the other problem is, the longer you draw this out, the worst it's going to be for the three senators who are in the presidential race. Because they got to be there for the trial. When you finally do start the trial, they're going to have to be there for the trial. You can't be out campaigning when the trial is going on. You can't. That's a shame.
Starting point is 01:38:55 Yeah, isn't it? And so you've got Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders. and Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders. Is that it? Now? Clobuchar. Oh, yeah, Amy Klobuchar. Yeah, and Amy Klobuchar, who are all in the Senate,
Starting point is 01:39:15 and they're going to have to be part of the trial. Are you going to hang them up during their campaigns and make them sit in Washington and listen to all the testimony? I don't know. I mean, they're in a weird position right now, and it's not a winning position. Any way you look at it. Because when they finally do the trial, he's going to be acquitted.
Starting point is 01:39:32 Hopefully they'll do the trial well enough that they'll call witnesses and show what a sham this was in the House. Well, that's what Trump keeps saying he wants, right? Yes. But I never thought that was going to happen. I just never thought it was never going to happen. They want something quick and they want it done fast. And McConnell has said that he, you know, he's just going to let the beginning, you know, you get your say and then we're having a vote. Let's get this thing over with.
Starting point is 01:39:59 And that's what he's going to say, right? The American people are done with it. And maybe, you know, maybe that's the deal that he's got with Nancy on the side. Look, hold it for a little while. Then it's so we don't have to have the trial. And then send it to me. And I'll say the American people are done with it. There's no need for a trial.
Starting point is 01:40:18 Now he's colluding with Nancy Pelosi. Yes, that's what I've decided. That's exactly what's happening. I don't know that I buy that. But, uh, yes. In fact, no, I won't say that. But it would be nice if they would send the articles of impeachment to the Senate. And let's just get this done.
Starting point is 01:40:39 Let's just see what happens now. All right. Let's let him have a say. And then let's finally move on. Be done with it. Be done with it completely. Because I think after he's reelected, which I also believe is going to happen, they could start this whole process all over again.
Starting point is 01:40:55 They'll try to find some other issue. do it all over again. That's how much they hate it. Never mind working for your constituents or the people. Right. They have no care for you. At least at least Clinton claimed to want to get, well, let me get back to work for the American people. He said
Starting point is 01:41:12 that about the impeachment situation. Their attitude's a little different this time around, isn't it? In every single aspect of it. It's amazing. What hypocrisy. Triple-8. 727. B-E-C-K, Pat Gray and Jeff Fisher.
Starting point is 01:41:33 You might know him better as Jeffrey. For Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. You're listening to Glenn Beck. All right, I want to tell you what I'm getting my wife for Christmas, because she sent me an email. And if you don't believe what I say is true when I tell you about the commercials, ask my wife about all of the stuff that we use that you hear me talk about. And with X-Chair, I have an X-Chair.
Starting point is 01:41:59 I have one in the studio. I have one in my office. and my wife sent me an email and said, I want an X chair for Christmas. And so what happened? I'm laying my head down on my pillow at night. And she says, you know, they're $100 off.
Starting point is 01:42:12 I'm like, I know, honey, I read the commercials every day. So don't believe me, my wife does. The best chair I've ever sat in and she sits in my office chair as well. She knows. Right now, you'll save a hundred bucks off the model of your choice. Plus, if you use the code X wheels,
Starting point is 01:42:29 you're going to receive a free upgrade to the X-wheel blade caster. There's high-performance wheels for your chair. It's X-chairbeck.com. That's X-chairbeck.com. Or call 1844-4-4-X-Chair. X-chairbeck.com. Packray, whose show Packray at least, immediately precedes this particular show, the Glenn Beck program, and Jeffrey for Glenn today and tomorrow. And then Glenn returns on Monday. Triple-8-727, B-E-C-K.
Starting point is 01:43:06 Congratulations to the city of the Great. city of Baltimore. The great city of Baltimore, Maryland. For the fifth consecutive year, the city has reported more than 300 murders. They reached 347. Yeah, per capita, that's the most ever. I mean, it's... They've had more than that, but that was when their population was quite a bit higher.
Starting point is 01:43:27 It's incredible. Yeah, it is. I mean, 347 in a town of 600,000 people, keep that in mind. when New York had something like 316 in a city of 8 million goes to show how bad things are in Baltimore boy no kidding really bad and Dallas is Dallas is over 200
Starting point is 01:43:47 I mean we're we're starting to try to climb in there horrific and we had the horrible shooting in Fort Worth in Fort Worth yeah there was a shooting at a church nobody's talking about this of course because a good person with a gun ended it. And I mean, quickly, six seconds into the shooting, the shooting was over. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:44:11 Now, sadly, shot two people at pretty close range and killed them both. But the armed security person at the church shot him dead right away. I mean, within six seconds, this thing is over. The footage was incredible, how fast it happened. Do we have the footage? Can we play that? I don't know that we have it, but I mean, the footage was just incredible that I saw. It happened.
Starting point is 01:44:36 I mean, you see how fast something like that happens. It happens way in the back of the church, and it's not graphic, but you do see people fall. But yeah, I mean, when the shooter... Oh, I mean... Three shots. Two from the killer. And one from the security person, and it's over. And nobody's talking about that because it is, as we said.
Starting point is 01:45:01 You know how you end this? with a good person with a gun. Armed citizens. Yeah. Arm somebody there who can put a stop to it. Because if police have to come to it, that's going to take some time. Oh, my gosh. Everybody in that church could have been shot.
Starting point is 01:45:17 Yes. Everybody in the church. So this guy was psycho. His ex-wife said, yeah, he was crazy. But we didn't think he was this. Well, I mean, that's what everybody says, right? It was a good guy. He was just a little crazy.
Starting point is 01:45:33 We never thought he was that crazy. Well, guess what? He was. He was that crazy. So, I mean, who knows? Why or what got into his head? The guy's nuts. And it's really hard to ascertain who's going to do that ahead of time.
Starting point is 01:45:52 It's really hard. And what do you do when you think, okay, this guy's got the potential. Are we going to lock up all the people that we think might have that sort of mental issue. I don't know how you deal with this. I really, I don't. It's going to take smarter people than me to fix this. Well, and we've had plenty of years of people, you know, smarter than you. Yeah. Working on it. And there's still no answer. So, you know, I don't know that there is one other than, look, good people should be armed with a gun, should be armed. Yes. To stop bad people. And that's the way it should be. And this has already got a law. Right away. you got the Second Amendment.
Starting point is 01:46:33 This whole thing, it really ticks me off with all. There's a law that they can now carry weapons in a church. What do you mean? Of course they can. This is America, as I thought it was. You'll be able to carry a weapon wherever the hell I want. But that's not really the case anymore. It's not really the case, no.
Starting point is 01:46:50 No. I mean, they've requested at my church. So you just read a thing from church authorities in Salt Lake City. Please don't carry guns in the church. I thought, well, okay, then that kind of leaves us vulnerable. It sure does. It really kind of leaves us vulnerable. And maybe the, you know, the solution to somewhere like that is having a security person or two that are still there.
Starting point is 01:47:15 And just make sure that there is a security person who's armed and they're there every week. Maybe that's what you do. I don't know. But it certainly worked in this church. Sure did. Yeah. Sadly, two people lost their lives. Really sad.
Starting point is 01:47:28 really senseless. But it could have been everybody in that church. And it wasn't. Because the guy put him down in six seconds just in the time that he went and pulled his gun and shot him. And it was just like that.
Starting point is 01:47:44 You heard how fast those shots happened to each, how close they were. Pretty amazing. Pretty amazing. AAA 727 B-E-C-K. And we have this heartwarming story. Oh, good. After a really tragic and sad, this heartwarming story of a transgender man who is given birth to a non-binary partner's baby with a female sperm donor.
Starting point is 01:48:12 Isn't that wonderful? Isn't that wonderful? Yes. So the transgender man had the baby. This is a miracle because the woman, no, I'm sorry, the transgender man gave birth. to a child that he had with a transgender, well, non-binary person. So I guess that person doesn't identify as man or woman. But then there was a female person with sperm somehow who donated to the whole cause.
Starting point is 01:48:50 And the whole thing is just really wonderful and beautiful, isn't it? That sure is. It speaks to our wokenness. Doesn't it? Thank you. It speaks to our wokeness here. I'll tell you that. They even had this couple, the non-binary and the trans man, even had a transgender doctor.
Starting point is 01:49:11 So let me read the story to you because it is heartwarming and beautiful. Proud dad Ruben Sharp tells how he gave birth to a miracle baby in Britain's most modern family. the 39-year-old transitioned to a man 12 years ago, except for the fact that he still had obviously female parts because you can't have a baby in a man. So kept the female parts in there as well. But identifies as a man, so obviously he's a man. He's transitioned.
Starting point is 01:49:46 But, you know, he had maternal instincts and six years ago stopped taking testosterone in the hope of one day having a child. Eternal, yeah. And that dream came true when he and partner Jay had a bouncing baby. Jay is non-binary. So does not identify as male or female. The sperm donor was a trans woman.
Starting point is 01:50:09 And even the doctor was transgender. Isn't this wonderful? So they had a sperm donor. Yes. The couple. Right. Who was a woman? A woman who was sperm somehow.
Starting point is 01:50:21 I don't know how that happened. Identified as a woman. but had nail parts because obviously the non-binary and then the non-binary partner I guess a non-binary partner didn't have much to do with the birth
Starting point is 01:50:34 to my knowledge I don't think contributed to much to this sounds like maybe the non-binary didn't want anything to do with the whole thing it does sound like it does although I'm sure not shirking their responsibilities with the baby it's beautiful it's beautiful
Starting point is 01:50:50 it is beautiful and while a handful of other UK men have have fallen pregnant after transitioning from a woman, Rubin and Jay are the first couples to speak out about their remarkable journey. It is remarkable. It is remarkable. It is remarkable. It is remarkable because you don't really see, well, you do.
Starting point is 01:51:14 You just don't, it happens every day where a woman conceives a child from the sperm of a perfect stranger. It happens every day. Every day. every day. Little Jamie arrived three months ago, and the family just enjoyed the best of Christmases. Beaming with pride, wedding photographer Rubin says,
Starting point is 01:51:35 it's taken six years to get this far, but now we have a baby in our arms, and that was the ungoal. I finally feel complete. It wasn't that I was desperate to have the birthing experience or pregnancy experience, but I wanted a child, and I had the facility to do it.
Starting point is 01:51:53 So you're saying You have You got the woman Mechanics inside of you But you identify as a man So Again I'm going to say
Starting point is 01:52:12 You're a woman You're not a man Okay Let's just talk biology here You best still. That was just terrible. Is that terrible?
Starting point is 01:52:25 Yeah. And the person who donated the seed. Are you still going? Is a man, not a woman, okay? Because women don't have that particular item. The road to parrothood has certainly been long and winding. Ruben explains how he began living as a man in 2007 taking male hormones, which left him with a beard, a deep voice, and masculine features.
Starting point is 01:52:49 but raising realizing he wanted a baby Ruben spoke to a trusted trans doctor about the possibility You can't have just a trusted doctor No it's got to be a trusted trans doctor He was reassured it was possible
Starting point is 01:53:05 As he still had his womb And ovaries That's a sentence It doesn't make sense He didn't have His womb and ovaries Again She had her
Starting point is 01:53:19 You hateful. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm just being scientific here. Biological here. So he took a break from his testosterone medicine to enable him to undergo fertility treatment. Ruben met fellow wedding snapper, J. 28, in a pub. The story gets more beautiful every minute.
Starting point is 01:53:43 And the pair hit it off. Are they supposed to, I mean, they could meet anywhere. You don't make fun of where they've met. No, the pub is great. That's great that they met in a pub. All right. I love that. I love that feature about it.
Starting point is 01:53:54 Thank you. As the couple grew closer, Ruben broached the topic of pregnancy. He said, after a few months, I started getting nervous, realizing I was planning to have a kid. I'd been building towards it for three years to this point. I realized I'd have to talk to them using the preferred pronoun of the person who's non-binary in his life. If they didn't want kids, we'd have to break up. Oh, I'm sure glad that did. didn't happen. Thank you. I managed to bring up the subject, but luckily Jay was open to the idea.
Starting point is 01:54:26 Oh, so relieved. That's such a relief. And then there's the beautiful miracle baby birthed by a man who carried him the baby to term and the woman who donated the sperm. A beautiful, beautiful story. You know what I mean? I do. I do, Pat, I do know what you mean Because whenever you have a woman Conceiving a child from the sperm of a stranger I mean, it's beautiful. Isn't it?
Starting point is 01:55:01 Beautiful. It is beautiful. Because then she gives birth like ribbon do. I mean, it sounds hateful. Wait, did you just say she? I think you meant he. I did. Yes, okay.
Starting point is 01:55:12 Or them. All right. Or them or they. And it's all makes perfect sense. Sort of. You're listening to Glenn Beck. You know, there's a saying in business, if you don't know your numbers, you don't know your business.
Starting point is 01:55:29 And now the rapid pace of business, it's hard to keep up with those numbers. Can you afford to expand? Can you make that new hire? Can you launch a new ad campaign? How's revenue pacing compared to last year? Now, most companies don't have a clear picture of their finances, so they make business decisions without that critical information based on their gut or worse, their fear. And that's why many businesses fail.

Where's this reporter that won the lottery? In Spain.
Starting point is 01:56:50 Okay. She's in Spain. She's on the public TV. And she was all excited. She won the lottery. And she was doing a report. And she said, I'm not coming to work tomorrow. Ah, wow.
Starting point is 01:57:01 I won the lottery. Have a nice day. And so the world thought she won the big Christmas lottery. Except that, well, she did, but she didn't win the big jackpot. She only won like five grand. And she came to one. That wasn't enough to retire on? Well, the fans were a little upset with her.
Starting point is 01:57:18 The fans were a little upset. Hey, what are you doing? You didn't win the big money. You're still coming up. She said, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to give you the impression that I won the big money. Oh, so did she, she knew all along it wasn't the big money? It doesn't.
Starting point is 01:57:33 I think that she didn't. I feel like she didn't. And then when she found out after. She was embarrassed. Yeah, yeah. But because, I mean, that's an exciting thing if you think you actually won the big jackpot. Yeah, it'd be nice.
Starting point is 01:57:48 Holy cow. But then if you quit your job and, you know, start booking vacations all over the world and then find out it's $5,000. That's not the same kind of feeling. No, it is not. That would really be kind of disheartening. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:58:06 Not exactly a billionaire. with the $5,000. No. No, no, no, no, no. A billionaire Michael Bloomberg, however, in one month, let's see, he declared for the presidency, I think it was November 24th. Since that time,
Starting point is 01:58:21 he has spent $155 million in advertising. I mean, I can't turn on, I can't, you can't, I personally can not go to a YouTube video without a Bloomberg ad. I've seen him on, ESPN, have seen his ads.
Starting point is 01:58:40 So I don't know if he's, you know, he's obviously spending network money like that. I don't know if he's keeping smaller radio stations and TV stations alive. Yeah, I don't know that either. On behalf of them, I hope so. But for broadcast TV, he's already spent almost 137 million. Wow. Then he spent 7.7 million on cable and almost 11 million on digital ads. That's quite a blitz in one month.
Starting point is 01:59:04 Wow. It's more than Tom Stub. Sire. Those are the two. Those are the only two whose ads I ever see. Have you seen anybody's ads? I haven't seen Biden. Elizabeth Warren. Budajaj, none of them. The only ones I've seen are Steyer and Bloomberg. And I'm speaking for myself, not you here, Pat. But if Michael Bloomberg wants to advertise on Chewing the Fat podcast, you'll accept that money? I will accept that money. Oh, Michael. That's big of you. So I'm here for you. You could probably, look, I'll do it for a million. I'll do it for a million and it will be good.
Starting point is 01:59:40 How many ads would you give him for a million? Whatever it needs. I'd give him up to two ads for that. Up to two ads. So knock yourself home to Michael. Call my people today and we'll work that deal out for you. Seriously. You're listening to Glenn Beck.
