Starting point is 00:00:00 60% of the vans on Amazon come a vendor independent like Sac Magic. Hello, here Camille of Sackmagic. Our compresses, show of fraud are fabriced in Quebec, and our presence on Amazon enlarge our clientele
Starting point is 00:00:10 to world entire. Trouve of little enterprises like that other on our own.com. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. Okay, so we've got a great show. We want to open it up. Thank our sponsor Rough Greens
Starting point is 00:00:22 for making the Blaze broadcast possible. Uno went to the doctor. He's not dying yet. He's not dying. And he's not in pain. He apparently has hot spots. I don't even know what that is. But he came back, shaved all over, and you're like, what the heck?
Starting point is 00:00:39 My dog has had that as well. Really? What is it? I don't know. Some skin issue. I don't want to think about it either. But he's, so he's not dying and he's not in pain. And those were the things that we were really concerned about.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Because the only time he gets up right now is to eat. And he wouldn't have done that before. I think you take his blood serum. and you could make something like Manjaro out of it. Because he never would eat. But we started putting rough greens on his food, and he loves it, full of vitamins, minerals, probiotics, antioxidants, you name it. If it's healthy for your dog, it's probably in rough greens.
Starting point is 00:01:15 Try it out with your dog. I mean, try it out on your dog. Now, with, you know what I mean. Rough greens, are you ffgreens.com slash Beck? Roughgreens.com slash Beck. Or call 833, Glenn 33. That's 833, Glenn 33. Roughgreens.com slash back.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Okay, show begins a new one. Hello, America, welcome to the Glenn Beck program. You know how people say, like, don't California, my Texas? I would like to start saying, hey, would you Florida, my Texas? I mean, I just say, seems like Florida has it down. I'm wondering why? What could possibly be the reason? Have you seen what's happening with the protest all over the country?
Starting point is 00:02:54 and how they're being handled in Florida. Nobody leaves the sidewalk. Nobody's blocking the streets in Florida. We'll show you here in just a second the difference between a good governor and a bad governor. When things go down in this world, a lot of time they go down very, very quickly. It's the old saying,
Starting point is 00:03:15 when did you go bankrupt? How'd you go bankrupt? Well, slowly and then overnight. Things pile up, and then all of a sudden something breaks the camel's back, and we're looking at those things every day. If you've been preparing for emergencies, you know you need emergency food,
Starting point is 00:03:36 but a lot of people haven't prepared. Do you have enough food? I know it sounds crazy, but you and I know that it's not. Your supply should be within reach, ready to grab, go at a moment's notice, and you can secure those supplies at my patriot supply.com. Start with a four-week emergency food, kit. The thing provides over 2,000 calories every day. All the food is protected by heavy duty

It's mypatriotsupply.com. Get as many food kits as your family needs. $50 off each. They'll ship fast and free in unmarked boxes. Save $50 per kit at mypatriotsupply.com. That's mypatriotsupply.com. So I don't know if you saw this. Do you remember the guy who, Yuri Berliner, who came out and wrote that article about NPR? It's a fascinating story. Yes, I do remember this. Fascinating, right? With a free press. Barry Weiss's free press. Yeah. And he came out and he said, you know, we have lost our journalistic integrity at NPR. And he still works there.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Well, he worked there. Incredible. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. He's a senior business editor. at NPR. He said that the liberal bias had tainted its coverage of important stories that we've always leaned liberal. He said, but we've lost our way on journalistic integrity. So NPR has suspended him. Incredible. Yeah. It's funny, with all this talk of tolerance, they couldn't tolerate one single person who said they were too liberal. Well, he didn't ask permission to say bad things. That's fine. Especially from NPR. You know, there's that whole umbudsman tradition. Right? Where like you're supposed to be able to take this criticism. Like even though most
Starting point is 00:05:32 businesses, like if I was working at McDonald's or, you know, I'm working at Burger King, I wouldn't want my employees being out there saying negative things about my hamburgers. But like, there's a tradition in journalism that you're supposed to have the freedom of speech, freedom of the press, these things combining together. into one. Yeah. To give employees who really see a problem and okay to speak out. Well, this is this is the only press thing that you could say,
Starting point is 00:06:00 freedom of the press, because they were fired from the inside. But these are government employees. This is all funded by the United States government and people like you. Not like me. I don't like those people. I've never given them a dime. Yeah, I don't really want to even talk to those people.
Starting point is 00:06:16 I don't know who those people are. The Herb and Emily Schmiminitz Foundation. You don't like them? Really? Yes. No, herb is really not a good guy. You like herb? No, I don't.
Starting point is 00:06:27 It's not herb, by the way. It's herb. Herb and Emily Shmimimimits Foundation. The Shmimimits themselves are good, but I digress. So anyway, he came out and it was published and the new chief executive, Kathleen Marr, came under new scrutiny because she's been an activist for a long time. so people start going through her stuff, series of year old social media posts, criticizing President Donald J. Trump, and embracing progressive causes.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Okay. NPR said that's unfair. Unfair. Oh my gosh. That was unfair because her social media posts were written long before she was named chief executive at NPR, and that she wasn't working in the news industry at the time. NPR said also that while she managed the business side of a nonprofit, she was not involved in its editorial process. And she said in a statement in America, everyone's entitled to free speech as a private citizen. And you're absolutely right.
Starting point is 00:07:31 You're absolutely right. But doesn't that go? If they hired this person with outrageous tweets showing her unbelievable progressive bent and hatred for Donald Trump. To a comical level, by the way. What do you? The tweets are. are legitimately like parodies of liberals. Like they're so over the top.
Starting point is 00:07:52 At one point, she says, you know, I love Hillary Clinton, but I really wish she would stop using the terms boy and girl because they are very, I can't remember, you know, basically like sexist. Sexes. Yeah, but yeah, like making people who are, don't fit into one of those neat categories, uh, they make them feel bad. And it's like, exclusionary. I might have been the word she used.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Like it was something like that. And it's like, that is like, if Saturday Night Live was funny, that would be the joke they would make. Correct. Right. Like, don't call girls and boys, you can't use those terms. She was the one using them. She was this, and this is like 2018 and 19 before it was cool. So she's very, very left wing.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Insanely. If she is the head of the network, well, then you could imagine who she hired and what her principles and practices are. Several NPR employees have urged the network leaders to more forcefully renounce Mr. Berliner's claims in his essay. Edith Chapman, NPR's top editor, said in a statement last week that managers strongly disagree with his assessment of the quality of our journalism, adding the network is proud to stand behind its work. Some employees have begun to speak out.
Starting point is 00:09:06 Tony Kavan, NPR's managing editor for standards and practices. Well, they have that, took issue with many of Mr. Berliner's. claims in an interview with the Times on Tuesday, saying Mr. Berliner's essay mischaracterized NPR's coverage of crucial stories. He said NPR's coverage of COVID-19, one of the lines of reporting that Mr. Berliner criticized was in step with reporting from other mainstream news organizations at the time. Yeah, we said they all sucked.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Right. Right. The fact that you copied the other people who suck is nothing you should be bragging about. May I just, may I just point out? NPR, if everyone was jumping off a bridge, does it make it right for you to jump off a bridge? I mean, wait, like, what are they saying? What? We're just doing whatever anybody else is doing.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Right. I was just following orders. Yeah, no, that doesn't work out well. It's kind of where it was. Like, our accusation at the time was all you guys are doing this group think thing where you're not actually considering the facts of these situations and all the other considerations like personal liberty that should factor into these decisions. And we said, all of you were doing it. And their defense is, yeah, but all of us were doing it.
Starting point is 00:10:22 I know. I know. It's crazy. He also defended NPR's coverage of the Russian interference. I love this one. In the 2016 U.S. election, another area Mr. Burliner focused on noting that Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating the issue, concluded that Russian state actors had made attempts to sway the election.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Well, yes, they did make attention. attempts to sway the election. That's not Donald Trump. Right. It was not the tone of the coverage. No. We talked about this endlessly that yes, Russia was trying to cause chaos here. Of course.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Russia is. That's true. We were saying it before it was cool to say it. Right. But we also said, wait a minute, you think Donald Trump is a Russian agent since 1984? Remember they were saying things like that at the time? And I don't know that that one was NPR. That was somebody else.
Starting point is 00:11:12 But still, this is the. tone of the coverage. And again, their defense is, well, we were all doing it. Like, you know, I was going to go down and expand your analogy and I'm rethinking it right now. So I'm going to go on that reverse ground and instead say the media is doing a bad job. Right. We're all following orders here. Mr. Kevin also pointed out that NPR had no way to verify early articles about Hunter Biden's laptop. Oh my gosh. Oh, you had plenty of ways to verify. You had plenty.
Starting point is 00:11:48 They have no contacts within the FBI, Glenn. The NPR, no. None. They couldn't have tried to. The FBI's on the phone with everybody lying to you again. The same people that lied to you before are lying to you again. And you're like, I got this liar on the phone who's been lying to us the whole time. And, you know, we've been stuck out by him several times.
Starting point is 00:12:08 But he says it's absolutely a plant. Oh, well, then we've got to stop investing. getting everything. We're not even going to bring it up on NPR because we don't, we don't repeat lies. It's incredible. I mean, and because of their irrelevance at some level, NPR gets a pass on their coverage of that. A lot of times we will bring up, we're guilty of this saying, oh, the New York Times didn't do this and the Washington Post didn't do this. And it's true. However, NPR was probably the worst. They were literally mocking the idea that the Hunter Biden laptop could possibly be true. They've never come back and said, here's how we failed.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Right. Instead, they say, well, everybody else was doing it. Yeah. And now they're suspending the people that pointed it out. Yeah. Like, it's the exact. I was just wearing my party pen. That's all.
Starting point is 00:12:59 No, no. You don't need to expand. I'm just, what? It was a focused point. I've rethought expanding the analogy. Why wouldn't you? We're all doing it, Glenn. So, but my point here is, I think,
Starting point is 00:13:14 NPR escaped a lot of the worst of the criticism when they deserved the worst. And then when they get the criticism from their own ranks, they just suspend the guy. I mean, it's comical. It's comical. It's like these organizations don't even attempt to hide it anymore, Glenn. And I think that is, you can just say there's been liberal bias forever. And of course that's true. But the change has been the fact that they don't even try to hide it anymore. They don't even attempt.
Starting point is 00:13:43 And it's not that they don't hide it. It's as if they don't see it. They are so... It's hard to believe it. They are so part of Big Brothers' plan that they don't even understand that they're part of the Ministry of Truth. It's just...
Starting point is 00:13:59 I mean, it is incredible. It's not that they're not hiding it. They don't see it anymore. They don't see what's right in front of their face. And they don't want to. it doesn't seem like they do. I mean, as soon as it's pointed out to them, they just run from it. And this is like, you know, you can make mistakes.
Starting point is 00:14:22 I don't, and I may be out on a limb on this on talk radio, but like, I don't think it was crazy to be skeptical of the Hunter Biden laptop story. It's a freaking bonkers story. The son of the president dropped off his laptop at a blind guy's repair shop and let it there. right away. I mean, I can understand being skeptical of that story. I believe we were skeptical on day one. We were like, come on, this is too good to be true. I remember thinking, I think the laptop is, it's, there was enough there for me to think it might have been real, but I was very skeptical of the story of how they came across it. It felt like maybe someone inside the Biden came to the household campaign, like leaked it to them. Kind of like the diary. Right, yeah. Like, it seemed like some other chain of custody, if you will. But like, I look. the son of the president got so coked up, he dropped his laptop with all of his prostitute and drug pictures off at a blind guy's repair shop who then got it to Rudy Giuliani
Starting point is 00:15:26 eight days before the election. There is a reason to be skeptical of that story. Like that is completely insane. However, it is your job, especially when the nation's oldest newspaper is the one reporting it as fact. It is your job. job to go in there and take it seriously and try to figure out what the hell is going on. No, not if you have somebody from the government who has been known to lie to you over and over and over and over again and been wrong over and over and over again. You can't continue. You've got to take that liar's word for it because this time he might be telling the truth. Right. I mean, that's, that is their logic. That is their logic. I know this
Starting point is 00:16:08 guy has stuck us out over and over and over again. But maybe this time he's right and this time we got him. Yeah. That's the part that does surprise me a little bit because I'm not surprised they're going to favor left-wing ideals. I'm not surprised they're going to be liberals. I'm not surprised at any of that. I am surprised that when these people come and progressives. Thank you. But what, I am surprised when you put yourself out on a limb to say this person's telling us the truth, it backfires in your face and you don't get angry. But right now, there's no consequence for... I guess there's no backfire, right?
Starting point is 00:16:45 There's no, there's, I mean, has anybody's Pulitzer Prize been taken away? Handing them out just as much, it seems like. Right. Nobody's, nobody for the, the Russia Gate stories that the New York Times, I think they still have their Pulitzer Prize for it. So there is no consequence. Yeah. Yet, there will be at some point.
Starting point is 00:17:04 There is actually in your ratings and your revenues. But there's no consequence yet from the industry, from the people you care about, I'm still getting the award. That's true. And there are consequences that come down the road eventually. Yeah, mainly in the eternal resting place. So are you saying they're all going to hell? I mean, who might have judged. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:26 But yes. Okay, good. Thank you. All right. Back in just a second. You know what's rough. Face in the day ahead of you. And what makes it worse is knowing that as soon as you do face the day, you're going to start hurting.
Starting point is 00:17:37 If you're living with pain, please get your life back. I'm here to tell you I understand firsthand what it's like, and I may have the answer for you. My hands were so bad I could not use them anymore. Yesterday I was back painting, and I've been painting for about six months. I was out painting again, and I can do it because my hands aren't feeling like they're cripple anymore. It's a daily supplement that helps your body fight pain by fighting. inflammation and its name is relief factor. It's 100% drug-free.

It helps reduce or eliminate the everyday aches and pains you're experiencing, and Relief Factor can help you feel better. See how Relief Factor can help you. Their three-week Quick Start Kit, 1995. ReliefFactor.com or call 800 the number four relief, 800. The number four relief.
Starting point is 00:18:37 ReliefFactor.com. When you feel the difference, you know it works. Ten seconds, station ID. Tonight, we're doing a show on something that is extraordinarily concerning to me, and we talk about it very rarely. At least we'll talk about it, but it will be very obliquely. Today we're hitting it on head on. There is a dangerous reform movement sweeping across American medical schools,
Starting point is 00:19:13 and all of the professional medical organizations and hospitals to implement and teach diversity, equity, and inclusion, this is going to come back and be very, very bad. This far-left movement is centered on dismantling so-called systemic racism in the medical field and infusing identity politics in every aspect of health care with total support and incentives from the White House. This is a destructive worldview, and it is now running riot in our medical schools, and DEI policies are being forced on hospitals and doctors all over the U.S., and you will be canceled if you stand up against it. I'm going to take you through how this academic cancer is changing medical school admissions and graduates, what caused this movement to accelerate the consequences of this insanity for patients, and how resistance to this movement will bring swift.
Starting point is 00:20:12 crackdown through the thought police. Ironically, medical DEI is creating new forms of discrimination. Science is no longer being followed. It's no longer steering medicine in America. Politics is. DEI is firmly at the helm now and the real consequences for the future of your health care is at stake. Join me tonight. I will show you the present, the future.
Starting point is 00:20:42 and the past, how diversity, equity, and inclusion will create the next public health crisis, and it's one we never want to see. Tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern, only on blaisTV.com, 9.30 p.m. at YouTube.com slash glenbeck. Okay. Right after a brand new, Stu Does America. People are pumped about that, man. I think we're going to talk about this NPR story. I think that's going to be the monologue today.
Starting point is 00:21:14 I'm so, I can't believe how bad it gets. It's one of those things where you just keep looking at it and you can't believe how bad it gets. And then we, I want to go through all of her tweets because they're so funny. You know, I have to tell you, you, you don't believe anymore. No, I know. I mean, there's nothing. Okay, so I have another horse on the highway. Yes, horse on the highway.
Starting point is 00:21:41 And it's one of those things that you're like, Eh, okay, that didn't have it. Montana, known for its large wildlife, bears, mountain goats, buffalo, elk. Sure. In Butte, Montana, Maeda Smith was driving south on Harrison Avenue with her husband, who alerted her to a strange scene around noon yesterday. I thought he just meant it was like in the parking lot. And then I looked up and I said,
Starting point is 00:22:11 Nope, nope, that's an elephant walking down the middle of the road. There it is. Elephant walking down the road. There's an elephant. What the, it's an elephant. Oh my God. Walking down the road. Now, what happened, apparently, there is a circus that has come to town, and the elephant escaped and was walking down the town.
Starting point is 00:22:36 And they walk fast. Yeah, pretty quick. So they walk fast. The great thing is. All the people were like, we have buffalo all the time, so we know how to handle buffalo. I assume it's a lot like an elephant, which is stay away from the animal.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Right. So they're the one town. But I mean, every day you see something like, hmm, never saw that before. Never, I mean, you're in Montana. And you're driving down the street and Main Street, here comes an elephant around the corner. you're like, hmm, Joe Biden must be in town.
Starting point is 00:23:19 All right. So they, they, I want to talk to you about the international fellowship of Christians and Jews. God willing, this thing with Iran doesn't go any further than it already has. Iran has been attacking Israel by proxy for decades. Hezbollah and Hamas. But the direct attack ups the ante considerably. And we're trying to see what Israel is going to do. We're waiting.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Now, whatever the case, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is upping its efforts to get the bomb shelters put up in as many places as possible, helping the Israelis prepare for a worst-case scenario where they could be in these shelters for days, even weeks at times. These are the places where they're the bus stops, people going to work, kids going to school. They're working to secure food and other basic needs for families who need it or will need it, and they need our help. Please, I know I've been asking you to help out a lot on several different things lately, but the IFCJ really needs your help so we can put these bomb shelters up. Would you please support IFCJ.org? Go there. Support IFCJ.org.
Starting point is 00:24:30 What is the one thing that you would chew your arm off to get out of? I mean, there's one thing that somebody says, hey, can you help me? There's one thing that I'm just, when they say anything but this, I'm like, oh, yeah, yeah, sure, I can help. Anything that you chew your arm to get out of? Yes. You're listening to it, this show. Okay, that's not what I expected. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:28 I feel the same way. Thank you. So the thing that I just, please just don't ask me to take you to the airport. I hate it so much. Oh, yeah. And then if you're doing a trip with multiple airports, like, was on this documentary thing last week. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:43 We went to, I'm trying to think. It was, we had Dallas, D.C., Miami, Denver, Phoenix, Chicago, and eventually back to Dallas somehow. I don't know. It was in like six days, seven flights or something like that. It was horrible. Awesome. I loved it.
Starting point is 00:26:00 And by the way, the last flight was out of O'Hare, like two days before they blocked the road to O'Hare. That's the thing. I would have lost my mind. I'm taking somebody to the airport, I'm in a bad mood. Right. If I have to go actually inside the airport and then onto a plane, I'm in a much worse mood. Okay?
Starting point is 00:26:23 It's turned into, my apologies to Greyhound for saying this, but it's become the Greyhound bus of the skies. Okay, flying now is just like, oh, no. And if you are blocking my way to go to the airport. Let me play this. This is from Chicago. Chicago O'Hare as passengers walk to the airport. Watch, cut forth. There they are. On the grass.
Starting point is 00:27:02 I'm not a fan. Rolling suitcase is not meant to go over grass. No. And, you know, I'm on my way to the airport, and I have to get out of my car, take my luggage on the grass and walk to the airport, I want Palestine to go into a giant sinkhole. It does not make you more pro-Palestine. No, no. Gossens?
Starting point is 00:27:32 Mm-mm. No. I blame, you kind of wind up blaming unfairly the Gossens. Yeah, you do. The Gossens even are like, hey, don't, hey, don't blame that on us, man. Don't. Hamas is saying, okay, yeah, we raped and we pillaged and we killed a lot of people, but We didn't block the way to the airport.
Starting point is 00:27:51 That's insane. I don't understand how this helps you. I don't understand how this would work. What is the theory behind it working? Like, hey, what if we do the things that people hate the most to convince them to join us? That is a strange bit of calculus you're doing there. I mean, honestly, I guess it's just to cause so much chaos that you're just like, will somebody make this stop? But like, how do they make it stop?
Starting point is 00:28:17 It's not, oh, let's all agree that the Gossans are being, you know, eliminated. It's not that. It's people just get angry. Well, let me, let me show you a couple. First, let me go to the Golden Gate Bridge. Here they are in the Golden Gate Bridge. There's a guy just getting out of his car, like a crazy man. And they're just stopping all the cars on the Golden Gate Bridge.
Starting point is 00:28:48 Honestly, what is the theory here? Is it just like, you know, no publicity is bad publicity, basically, like this will wake people out that this is happening because no one's listening to us. So we'll do whatever we have to do. But nobody is the theory. I don't think of the of the poor people in Gaza. I don't. I don't. I think of the poor people in my car.
Starting point is 00:29:09 On the bridge. Yeah. That's what I think of. I would hate living in San Francisco and having to cross that damn bridge. Yeah. And I was thinking about this. Like, imagine if like, our side. of these arguments we're doing these types of things.
Starting point is 00:29:23 And then I realize that that literally never happens. There's never, there's never been any examples that I can think of where like people are blocking the Golden Gate Bridge being like, lower the corporate tax rate. Like that doesn't happen. No, it doesn't. It never occurs. No, it doesn't. No, it doesn't.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Seriously, like even, even, I mean, it's a somewhat jokey policy example, but like, is there ever been anything like this? And I honestly, like, wonder how I would react to it. if I supported something and my side started doing stuff like that, I would really reconsider my support for it. That's probably, it's like a spite change of opinion, which is not a good way to operate your life. But I would be tempted to do it. Okay, now let me show you something, the sidewalks of Florida compared to the streets of Florida. It's a pro-Palestinian protest in Florida.
Starting point is 00:30:17 And here you see it. And the cars are moving. And they're all on the sidewalk. Wow. Almost like a society, a civilization. Yeah, it's almost like we didn't throw 8,000 good years out the window. Yeah. You know, we've been working on this whole civilization thing for 8,000.
Starting point is 00:30:38 It's been a good run. Been a good run. Let's just throw it out the window. And Ron DeSantis seems to be able to handle this. Let me show you one more. This is protesters. in the streets and you have police officers
Starting point is 00:30:54 dragging them to the sidewalk. Ah, they're no longer in the streets, though. They're no longer in the streets. What's going on? Go ahead and block that sidewalk, but not the streets. Not in Florida. Fantastic. They're just still laying there, like they're doing something still,
Starting point is 00:31:08 but now they're a sidewalk. It's a die-in. It's a die-in. So you got to, you know, you can't just, you got to pretend that you're dead until nobody's there. How could you possibly be on the side of people who want to do that. Like, it just, you know, and we've talked about this with abortion before. You know, at the Super Bowl every year, the fetus truck people always show up, you know.
Starting point is 00:31:30 And like, I would guess that I would at some core level agree with their generalized opinion that abortion's really bad, right? Like, there's something there. But like, no one has ever had their mind changed by the guy driving around with the picture of the growth. fetus on the side of it. No, because it's never just one. Yeah, it's always a lot of people and a lot of fetuses. A lot. Yeah. A lot. Fetai. Is that the plural of fetus? I don't think so. No, I don't think so either, but it should be. I don't say it should fetuses sounds terrible. Well, Octopi always sounds right to me, but it's not. It's not. Talk to pusses. Which is sounds terrible. Yeah. But the point of this is, like, are you trying to persuade people to your cause, or are you trying to show off for your own side?
Starting point is 00:32:19 And a lot of times people wind up just showing off for their own side. It feels great to say these things in a certain way to be the most expensive possible. But I'm on the side of pro-life and I don't like the fetus truck. No. I don't even want to live next to the guy who has the fetus truck. Right. Because it's, like, we know a lot of hardcore pro-life activists who are very effective in their messaging. Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:43 They're not doing it that way because their goal is to persuade people. And, you know, think of people like Lila Rose, for example. Someone who's out there like trying to persuade people to change their mind. We talk to tons of people like this. So what's the difference between, let's say, that and the Holocaust? Because nobody paid attention until you saw the pictures of the Holocaust. Maybe it just wasn't a guy in a truck with a bunch of Holocaust pictures on it. Maybe that's the difference.
Starting point is 00:33:13 I mean, I don't, you know, I guess it's a different era, certainly. and I think there's, you know, this is, we talked about this a little bit with the October 7th video. Like, I don't feel the need to see the October 7th video. I'll see it tomorrow. Crystal clear on what happened there and how it should be handled. If you are not crystal clear, maybe you should see it, right? And you're going to see it anyway. You are crystal clear, but you're going to see it anyway.
Starting point is 00:33:39 And I think that's totally okay. It's just not something I want to do. I don't want to see that. I understand why you're doing it, and I'm glad you're doing it. So you can describe it and tell me what's going on, but I don't want to see it. I don't want to see those. I personally think everybody should see it just like pictures of the Holocaust. I can see that viewpoint and I don't think it's a bad one.
Starting point is 00:33:58 But I think everybody has to make up their own mind on that. Well, I feel so strongly about it, I'm going to stop traffic today. You are? Yeah. You should see bad pictures. Yeah. We're all going to chant. Bad pictures or no pictures at all.
Starting point is 00:34:14 No flights anywhere until. the fight of the picture battle is over. I'm not good at making up the slogans. No, you're not a chanter. We'll put a drum behind me. Conservatives are terrible protesters. We don't know what we're doing on this front. But like I think there's multiple reactions to that.
Starting point is 00:34:33 I like if I was driving down, if I was on the fence on the pro-life pro-choice thing, which I am not. But if I were and I saw the fetus truck, I'm driving around with my kids and we look over and there's a giant, grotesque, you know, aborted fetus. The horror of that is real, of course, and people need to understand what is going on. However, I think I would just be angry at the person who put that in front of my child, right? Like, that's how I would react to that. I wouldn't be like, well, let me think about the policies of abortion now more seriously. Like, that's not how I would take that.
Starting point is 00:35:03 And so you have to think about how people react to the things that you're doing if your goal is to persuade them. If your goal is to be pure and righteous in your anger, then that's a different goal. Like, it might be okay to do it that way. I mean, maybe what they're doing here is just communicating to each other how hardcore they are on this issue. I mean, maybe their goal isn't to persuade anyone. I certainly don't think it's working.
Starting point is 00:35:33 I'd like to know if anybody has ever been changed by the fetus truck or, you know, somebody stopping you to get to the airport. Right. Is anybody, because I'm, I really am at the place where I don't like my commute home. I don't like when I'm stuck in traffic already. Yep. I don't like going to the airport. And if you're going to stop and make that more miserable for me, I mean, really,
Starting point is 00:36:06 It could be, hey, we're chanting for more free ice cream. And I would be, I'd become very anti-ice cream. Right. Right. Like, you will get to any, like, let me give a good example of this. I used to take New Jersey Transit from New York to my house. Oh, you were the one. No, and there was a lot of people in New Jersey Transit.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Believe me, if it was empty, it would have been a lot better. But it was very crowded. And there were people jammed into the seat with you everywhere. It was a miserable experience, right? Like, you're on this thing. every day one way, an hour and a half. Right. It was terrible.
Starting point is 00:36:42 And every once in a while, this is, if you want to know what it's like living and commuting to the dystopia of New York City, if you're around the country, like, what's that like? Well, every once in a while, every few months. It's like living in the back of the fetus truck. Right. It's what it's like. It's kind of like that.
Starting point is 00:36:58 I think the fetus truck is actually probably better. Yeah. But every few months, somebody would jump in front of the train and kill themselves. on your commute home. This would happen, I don't know, every few months. Really?
Starting point is 00:37:11 Yeah. So you're, you know what's so weird is, I was with you, not on the train. Right. I mean, no,
Starting point is 00:37:18 you would never allow yourself to get on a commuter train. It's disgusting. They ride trains? Together? I mean, maybe my own train I could understand, but not with other people.
Starting point is 00:37:34 Anyway, you never, I mean, this is what it's like. to live in New York. He had every six months or so, somebody jump in front of a train and he didn't come in every day and go, my God, somebody jumped in front of this tree. Never brought it up. Never brought it up. In 20 years, never brought it up. That's a new story to me. That's how out of control New York is. It's very true. Yeah. And you get, but what I was going to say is it's actually
Starting point is 00:38:00 darker than that. Oh, okay. It wasn't just that we didn't bring it up, is that without fail, You were pissed off. People were angry at the guy who killed themselves. You're going, oh, come on, just jump off a bridge. These were the conversations that happened all the time. So can I tell you some? Go jump off of a bridge and land somewhere where people aren't commuting. You jerk.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Now we're sitting here for 45 minutes, waiting for them to scrape your bloody carcass off of the rails. He's dead already. Let's move on. Right. Yes. Oh, believe me, that was a legit. Oh, yeah. Because I, no, again, I've never dealt with a train death before.
Starting point is 00:38:40 But like, my guess is that thing's going down the tracks at 80 miles an hour. It's going to hit you and knock you way off the tracks. So basically we're waiting for police to come and to investigate and say, yes, this person did walk out in front of the train. Like, that's basically all that's happening. Yes, this person is dead. Right. And yet, but I mean, there was never, I never saw anyone be.
Starting point is 00:39:03 like, you know, we have to think about the whatever they were dealing with. Let's think about it. You know, maybe income inequality caused this. No, it was. I know. Holy crap of my angry, I want to get home to my kids. Right?
Starting point is 00:39:15 Like, that's what you, that's your mindset in those moments. I can beat that story. Oh, God. I did something even worse. Was it also in New York? No way. Well, it started in New York. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:25 Yeah. So maybe I'll share that with you. Maybe not in just a second. Sadly. Wow. Yeah. You've been through those blinds in your house for a long time. You've been through everything with them.

So it'll give you a little preview of what the story is and it's, we only have a minute left in this hour. We can't, we can't put it here. Well, because it's a, it's a really shameful story, really. For who? The airline? I don't think of it. Have I ever told that story before? No, it's a totally new story.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Totally new story. It's a, there's a, there's a, there's a, there's a, there's a, there's a, There's an aura of shame around you and the story, and you've now broken through that. Right. I got to the place to where, you know, self-respect, self-esteem, it's not really there anyway. No, so don't worry about it. Right. Get off my lawn and tell the story. So kind of a, well, a shameful story that I think you'll relate to as we continue our conversation about people who block the bridges on your way home.
Starting point is 00:43:20 To shout things. They should listen to this and understand the mindset of the American people. When you were little, you've been braced in the course of recreat, always in trying to negotiate, to change the cards of hockey, the bonhom, the bracelets, even of the collation.
Starting point is 00:43:44 You know that each thing has a value well before to have to be and then, the things have not really changed. Negoti-titred TD you permit to renouet with your instinct of negotiation. With, without operation gratuite, no amount on minimum and
Starting point is 00:43:57 no rentalsual. You're made for negotiate. And the appellee negotiate a titre trotidt and and you need to be there right now. Now I want to talk to you about Berna launchers.
Starting point is 00:44:08 But I want to tell you one thing that you shouldn't do with them. And I don't have any legal reason or anything else that would stop you but there's got to be a reason not to do it or at least
Starting point is 00:44:23 to tell you to do it. Okay. Okay, it's a weird setup. Yes. Well, I'm just thinking about the protesters that are on the Golden State Bridge. Now, the good thing is we don't have anybody in San Francisco that listens to us, not a soul. Okay. So, I mean, a little tear gas wouldn't hurt, would it?
Starting point is 00:44:44 Because that's what a burner launcher has. You just don't, you don't, you don't, because you don't want to kill anybody, right? You know, you just want to go home. and so a little tear gas, you know, boom, at their feet from a Berna launcher. Now, that's saying that particular use, I don't know if that would be endorsed by Berna, but what I will say is in those situations, there are times where the crowd turns on you and you are in your car and you better damn well have something like a burner launcher. Yeah, I don't know if you could start something.
Starting point is 00:45:14 No, you shouldn't start. To defend yourself? But to defend yourself absolutely. And that kind of stuff could happen to you and your family. Get a burner launcher when a gun is just too much. Burn a launcher, they have kinetic rounds and also tear gas. It's b-y-r-r-n-a.com slash glen. Burna.com slash glen.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Well, CNN is trying to figure out now why consumers have now slowed their spending. What could possibly cause that? They don't have anything left? I don't know. Maybe that's it. We'll talk about that. and the dark side of living in today's society. That we actually have kind of stumbled on to something that we're ashamed of, but not really. I mean, yeah, we're ashamed of it.
Starting point is 00:47:10 You ashamed of it? Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. But we'd do it again the very next day. We'll tell you about it coming up in just a second. First, make no mistake. We are fighting a spiritual bad. as we protect the most innocent among us, babies and their moms.
Starting point is 00:47:26 Preborn stands on the front line of this battle, and their network of clinics are positioned in the highest abortion areas, often next to abortion mills, where it's unspeakable evil that takes place every single day. Preborns offers God's love and life to protect hurting women and precious pre-born babies. Everything that enters your mind when you hear the words Planned Parenthood,
Starting point is 00:47:51 preborn is the first. the opposite of that. They have a 100% charity rating so you can give with confidence. They will, they come in, they take care of the mom, make sure that she knows that she's not alone, that she's going to be cared for two years after the birth. And they start with giving her a free ultrasound so mom can see the baby on an ultrasound and know that it's not a clump of cells or a tumor. it is a, it's a baby, it's life inside of her. Preborn.com slash Beck. Dial pound 250, say the keyword baby to make a donation.
Starting point is 00:48:30 $15, $28 covers one ultrasound. Up to $5,000 would cover the entire day for preborn. So give now pound 250, preborn.com slash Beck. That's preborn.com slash Beck. All right. So we were talking about the Palestinian that are, well, let's show them again. Here they are on the Golden Gate Bridge,
Starting point is 00:48:58 hassling people who are getting out of their car and they're like, I'm just trying to get home. So surrounding a guy in a way that is borderline illegal. I mean, you have to let people pass, right? Like, certainly the blocking of the road is illegal, but you're surrounding an individual. But is it illegal? Is anybody, then where are the police?
Starting point is 00:49:22 If it's illegal, where are the police? They should have them stationed at the bridge. There should be bridge police. Right. Like when you know these things are going on, you get police there and remove these people immediately. Immediately. And you push. Oh, what a surprise.
Starting point is 00:49:35 That's what's happening in Florida. And you what? I heard the word push. You know, again, it was another sentence. That was an edited sentence. You heard the editing in real time. I'm just thinking of the location of where you are is at a top of a bridge. And that's, I had a thought.
Starting point is 00:49:51 And I stopped. Here are these protesters in Chicago blocking the way to Chicago O'Hare. And, oh, they got the drums, too, so it's even better. Even more annoying. Yeah. And people are just getting out of their cars, and they are just walking in the median, dragging their suitcases behind them. I hate them. All I'd want to do is support Israel.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Yeah. Like, the rest of my days would be spent giving money to just the IDF directly. You know what? There should be that they should do that. They should have IDF soldiers. Just with Venmo scans. Just standing there. Want to give to us?
Starting point is 00:50:29 Yeah. Want to give to us? So anyway, that's a great fundraising tool. It is. It is. So we were talking about it. And then Stu revealed something that I, that I had never heard before that happened on the train as he went from the New Jersey side to Manhattan every day, an hour
Starting point is 00:50:50 and a half, he would take a train to go do the show there. And now we work there for five, six years, something like that. Yeah. And I've never heard this story, which is when you hear the story, kind of interesting that I never heard it. Because it, I mean, it wasn't a story. It happened often. You know, I would say between four to six months, you'd be on the train commute and you're going, you know, 80 miles an hour or 70 miles an hour down the train, you know, and you're mindlessly staring at your laptop with all sorts of weird smells of cultures you don't recognize all around you. Oh, man. Wafting through your nostrils.
Starting point is 00:51:31 And all of a sudden the train would stop and you just roll your, oh, no, what's going on now? And you don't know what it is. It could be a stupid delay in the tracks. There could be traffic. There could be a technical issue. There's all these different things it could be. And some of them mean you stop for two minutes and they keep moving. Some of them mean it could be hours.
Starting point is 00:51:49 And then you get the news filters its way down the train car to train car. And you find out that no, this time, it's one of those times where someone has decided they want to kill themselves and have jumped out in front of the train have killed themselves. Now the train is stopped. We cannot move because the police have to come and investigate this person who's killed themselves. Now, I just want to point out. I just want to point out this is a different Anybody wants to know what it's like
Starting point is 00:52:20 Living in New York City Right there And it's not that story It's the fact that He never once came in To work and said Oh jeez man The worst thing happened
Starting point is 00:52:32 Somebody killed themselves He would be late And he would just say Trains Yeah that's all he would say Trains He would never say Somebody jumped in front of our train
Starting point is 00:52:45 And killed themselves You wonder why some of the people in the media are dead inside. This is part of it. It really is. Like just living in that city, it makes you have all sorts of calculations of like, hey, hey, this person who is obviously mentally ill and probably is going to go murder someone who started abusing some woman on the train. Rats crawled on over my leg on the way in. Like you have all these weird things that you do and you justify as normal living in this place. and that was one of the things.
Starting point is 00:53:16 And by the way, the reaction was never like a solemn, oh my gosh, what was that person going through? And I started thinking about that in the concept of the conversation about the Palestinian protesters because the conversation of the people in the cars is not, gosh, maybe the Palestinians have a point here. Maybe Gaza really does need to be free. It's like, these people are the worst people on earth.
Starting point is 00:53:39 I hate their cause. I hate everything about them. I want to get home. And when we were on the train, that was the same thing. Like, all right, the body can't still be on the tracks, right? Like, let's just keep going. And we'll tell the police where it was.
Starting point is 00:53:52 They can come look at it. Is this a new thing? Or when people were crossing the mountains, you know, with the wagon trains and poor old Jebediah, you know, drop dead halfway through. Sure. Were there people in the wagon train where they're like, it's Jebeda, it's going to die anyway. Let's keep going. Right. Let's keep going.
Starting point is 00:54:12 And everybody was like, no, we've got to stop and pray and bury him properly. Were there people that were like, come on? They're like, you know, I mean, look, Jebediah's six-year-old daughter died a few miles back, and he was fine leaving her behind. It would be what Jebadaya wanted for us to keep rolling through the mountains. He wanted us to get to the other side quickly before the snow came. I think this is a rather modern thing. Maybe it's not.
Starting point is 00:54:44 It's cold and it's, you know, it is a, it's somewhat cold, but it's also somewhat understandable, I will say, in the moment. Like, because you look, you're living your life. And like, you know what? It felt like, I'll be honest with you, on the train, it felt selfish. It was like, you could have jumped off a bridge. And no one, and it would have been, it would have been sad for the family the same way. It would have been sad for you the same way, but it wouldn't have stopped us from getting home to see our families.
Starting point is 00:55:13 And that is how I know it sounds really cold and dark, but that's how every person on the train thought about it. Okay. So now I have a worse story than you that I've never told you. Okay. And this happened probably 20 years ago. And there's been a lot of shame on this story. Really? Yeah. I felt bad about it. Well, not so bad. But I felt bad enough to not share the story. Okay. because I was, I mean, I think I was just surrounded by monsters. It wasn't me. It was the other monsters. It was the other people there.
Starting point is 00:55:47 Sure. Sure. They're the bad ones. So my wife and I, we were in Brussels or some Godforsaken place over in Europe. And we're over there. And we didn't have the best of times. And we were flying back. And the plane was really late.
Starting point is 00:56:06 And I'm like, and we're. We're landing in New York City, so that doesn't make, you know, it's not like, hey, you got a prize at the end. And it's direct from Brussels to New York. Direct from Brussels to New York. So you know there's probably all those Frenchy French politicians, Europeans on board. So you don't want to talk to anybody anyway. So we're sitting there. And I just keep seeing, you know, they show you the little airplane and you're like, oh, look, it's only 14 million hours before we're going.
Starting point is 00:56:38 we get home. And so I'm calculating in my head by the time we get out of traffic and we get it's going to be like 4 a.m. by the time we get home and I got to be at work at 6. And we are flying over London. We get past London and we hear, boom, is there a doctor on board? Oh, oh, boy. That's never a good sign. Is there a pilot on board? It's better than that one. Yes, it is. Yes, it is. Okay, so is there a doctor on board? Okay, so everybody starts looking around, and I see this guy about three seats behind us,
Starting point is 00:57:19 and the stewardesses are all around him, and he's clearly dead, clearly dead. So there was no, was there a struggle? I think he had a heart attack, you know, and just kind of like, you know, went down. Wow. Yeah, and so a doctor comes and he's doing this. the chest compressions and everything. They're not bringing him back, okay? He's dead.
Starting point is 00:57:41 They ask everybody in the row to move. All the people in the row are all standing there. Now, they're in business class, okay? Mm-hmm. And I understand, you know, you've got to lay him down flat and you're going to try to, but he's dead, okay? Right, right. He doesn't care if he sits in the back row.
Starting point is 00:57:59 You know, you can't. He has the seats back. You know what I mean? He's dead. Right. He's dead. Like he doesn't care about the bathroom smell. No.
Starting point is 00:58:09 Right. He doesn't care. Doesn't care. It's true. All right. But they ask everybody else in that row to move. And I start feeling bad for the people and the rest of the... But you're not feeling bad for the dead guy.
Starting point is 00:58:19 You're feeling bad for the people in the row. I'm like, wow, they paid a lot of money for that. And they're going to go back sitting the last row with bathrooms. Wow. And then I hear... Bing. Oh, this is your captain. We've had a incident on board, nothing to worry about.
Starting point is 00:58:40 But it looks like we'll be heading back to London to land. Now, you have a choice at that point. You have a choice. You have a choice of, well, he's dead and we should get him to a morgue or whatever as soon as we can. And then there's the other choice. He's dead. There's 500 of us up here that are not. not dead and have to continue on with our lives.
Starting point is 00:59:10 Okay. Now, I don't want to sound completely callous because my wife was next to me. We prayed for him and we prayed for his family. Not to say my heart was entirely in it at the time. I might have added and please don't turn the plane around. But so they didn't, they didn't. So they're flying and we're thinking, oh, come, you'll, I mean, what are the odds? He took off in Brussels.
Starting point is 00:59:35 he's landing in New York. The chance that he's from London. Oh, it's like 0%. So why lock his body up in a third country and then have to worry? Wait a minute. Seems like you're rationalizing a little bit. Why would you do that? And so then finally, you know, it goes on and we're getting further and further away from
Starting point is 00:59:55 London. We're over the Atlantic now. And I know they're looking and, you know, they got a tape measure out or whatever they do up front. And they're like, which is, is it closer to London? London or should we go all the way? Yeah, that's all tape measure. It's all done by tape measure. And so they find it, bing. Uh, ladies and gentlemen, we have decided that we are indeed going to land in New York. We're not turning back to London. And a cheer went up. Wait, the crowd cheered? Crowd cheered.
Starting point is 01:00:22 It seems a little cold. Did you cheer? Oh, no. That would have been wrong. Oh, okay. I mean, not outwardly. Right. Okay. You know, you kept that inside. And it would have been a little worth, I'm not sure they could have seen his body as clearly as I could. So these people are in the back. The peons who could could not afford business class are in the back and they're cheering. They're cheering. But that's why you keep a curtain between those people and the business class. We might be thinking the same thing, but we're certainly not going to outwardly.
Starting point is 01:00:56 Now, was there a thought? Because they're cheering, they don't know. This person's dead. They just heard there's an incident and we're going to keep going. Well, they don't necessarily know. It's kind of like the train. So you're not giving them any exception here. No, it's spread. We all knew what was going on.
Starting point is 01:01:13 Now that's pretty dark because you were like, you were thinking about where you're going to land. Right. Which is. And that's why I said for 20 years I haven't said this out loud. Because it's a little, it's shameful. Instead of thinking of the dead person and their family, you were thinking about how do I get home faster? And like, yes, of course we can just transport this carcass all the way to New York City. Right.
Starting point is 01:01:32 And the odds are his family's there. That's a justification. I'm not going to give you any points for that. that. You just thought about afterward. Okay. Probably a good shot. Was there a moment, and this is going to be tough to be honest on, but I'm going to
Starting point is 01:01:44 ask you anyway, was there a moment that you thought, you know, we're in business class. Like, should the body be with the coach people? Was there a moment you thought of that? No. No. Okay, good. No, but I did think the body should be with the coach
Starting point is 01:02:00 people, not because they're in coach, but because the other people paid for those seats and now they're sitting back by the bathrooms. That's just not right. Yeah. He's dead. He's dead. He's dead.
Starting point is 01:02:10 I'm not saying he treat him with disrespect, but he took up a whole row. A business class. Business class. I mean, he took up a whole row. That wasn't right. That just wasn't right. I mean,
Starting point is 01:02:23 I feel like if you're already in one of the back rows of coach, you've kind of made a deal. You might be next to a corpse. I feel like that's part of the ticket. You know, like when you do that, they're like, there might be a corpse next to you. you like that. You know, it's like, shut up, dead man. You kind of feel that way. Here,
Starting point is 01:02:42 you want some nuts. Here's a bag of nuts. So now I'm only bringing this up. This feels in hopes that people who are shutting down the bridges and the highways to the airports for whatever God-forsaken thing, I don't, I really don't care. I don't care if you're like, Jesus loves us and you've got the drum and you're like, Jesus loves us. And you're like, Jesus loves us. everybody, Jesus loves everybody. If you stop people going to the airport, if you stop people from going home after a hard night, nobody's going to hear that. Nobody. Nobody's going to listen. And how do I know? Because I've been on a plane with 500 people that cheered when we weren't going to drop the dead guy off. It's sad that you brought the story up after the finale of Curb Your
Starting point is 01:03:33 Enthusiasm because it would have made a great episode of that show. that would have been incredible. I did feel a little like Larry David. Yeah. It's very Larry David. Yeah. Okay. How often do you find yourself just going through the motions when it comes to feeding your dog?
Starting point is 01:03:47 Bowl is empty again? Guess it's time to grab the big old bag of kibble and just fill her up and walk away and not think about it unless your dog was like, Uno, and he just doesn't eat. He hates eating. Now he doesn't. Not because I change food, but because I put a supplement on it that he loves. It's rough greens. A little goes a long way. Sprinkle it on your dog's food.
Starting point is 01:04:10 It has all of the vitamins, minerals, probiotics, everything your dog needs. And they're going to give you your first trial bag for free just to make sure your dog likes it. All you have to do is pay for shipping. 833, Glenn 33, 833, G-L-E-N-N-33. Rough Greens, spelled RU-F-F-Ruff Greens.com slash Beck. Call them today. 833 Glenn 33. 10 seconds, station ID.
Starting point is 01:04:45 Is there a, because we talked about this, the, sort of, I don't know, this is almost like a fantasy league, you know, because I think the main thing people look at when you talk about the Palestinian protesters is not like their cause or, you know, even like the legal ramifications of it. It's what you would do if you were in the situation where you're first and they are all in front of you. What do you do? Like the guy in the Golden Gate Bridge got out, tried to convince them, was screaming at them. That doesn't seem to work. You know, and like I know, you can all say, oh, I'm just going to gun it and go. Like, you know, you're not going to do that. First of all, the problem with that is
Starting point is 01:05:18 modern cars are going to stop you. I was thinking about this with my plan the other day where you just you announce I'm coming forward. I'm going to take my foot off the break. My car is going to roll forward and then I'm going to put my head down under the scaring wheel
Starting point is 01:05:34 so I could not see what's going on. So if you do not get out of the way, this is on you. That was kind of my plan. My fantasy league plan of what I do in that situation. But I think a lot of these modern cars, because they want to avoid collisions, would actually stop. They get up to the person and just stop. You should have a non-homicide override. Because you don't want to kill anybody. Yeah. You don't want to kill anybody. So it's not homicide.
Starting point is 01:05:57 No. At least that's what I would tell the judge. Right. And you know, you should have a, no, it's a Palestinian protest. And you push a like a free Gaza protester button in the car. Yeah. Yeah. And you just push that button and it's like, oh, I won't stop. Because again, I want them to get out of the way. Right. That's my goal. It might steer around as best it can. but if it happens to hit somebody, well. Like, is there an AI update for like a Tesla that will just somehow figure out a way to navigate you through the Palestinian protesters? That would be good. That would be an Elon Musk feature. I would be very much.
Starting point is 01:06:28 I might buy a Tesla if I had that. If you had something like, you know, electrified skin on the car, I mean, just saying. Okay. Well, it was like a, you know, a taser. Yeah. Or like some of those James Bond features, right? How about? Remember that a tear gas comes out of the front or something?
Starting point is 01:06:44 Right. How about, like, one of those. old Wild Wild West train scoops that used to get like the cows off and the train could just slow down and just like roll the cow off the side. How about a car where the grill kind of just comes down and just makes like a people scooper? And just scoops and gently to the side. See, that's the sort of innovation we used to have in this country. Why we're not number one anymore. I'll take that right. Ever notice how every time you go to buy meat in the grocery store. The price tag is a little higher, but the package feels a little lighter at the
Starting point is 01:07:19 same time. It's weird how that happens, isn't it? Starting point is 01:08:28 You will save 20 bucks off Blaze TV. Okay. So there's a new number out now on what it costs to live in the United States of America. It's a little higher than it used to be. And I don't know if anybody's noticed that they're having a hard time making ends meet. Comfortable to live comfortably is defined as the monthly income needed to cover a 50, 30, 20, 20 budget, which allocates 50% of your earnings for necessities like housing and utility costs, 30% for discretionary spending, and 20% for savings or investments.
Starting point is 01:09:32 Wow, I don't think a lot of people are living like that. Nobody's living like that. Nobody's living like that. Well, wait, but 20, I mean, that percent of what, though? Like, if you're making $10 million, you know, what is it? I mean, you don't need to have a 50, 30, 20 lifestyle to live comfortably. Right. Right.
Starting point is 01:09:51 Right. They're saying this is the, they're saying what? This is the minimum. This is what it takes to, you know, to live comfortably in America. So, so. This is not talking about, I think Jeff Bezos is pretty good. I don't think he needs, I don't think he needs an article. So they're saying, like, what?
Starting point is 01:10:07 They're basically reverse engineering the number you need to hit that. Is that what you're saying? Yes. Okay. Okay. All right. I'm just trying to understand how. So here they are.
Starting point is 01:10:18 Most costly states. Massachusetts, $116,000. Hardcore conservative state. Hawaii, you're going to see this a lot. Hawaii, 113. Another conservative red state. California, 113. Big red state there.
Starting point is 01:10:33 New York, 111. Wow. And rounding out the top. Yeah. Topping out the top five is Washington State with 106. Another big red state. That's amazing. So all $100,000 and you cannot live comfortably. That's incredible. Okay. Now, to live comfortably in these states, you need to earn double what most single earners typically make. The median income for a single full-time worker is around $60,000. The national median for living comfortably is $89,000.
Starting point is 01:11:14 So there's a shortage there. And those are statewide numbers to point out. So it's a lot worse in these cities. Like there was a time, I don't know, this is eight to ten years old now when I remember looking at this. But, you know, they give you those guidelines of what you need to buy an average home, right? Like, what do you need to earn to buy an average home in the market? And in the market of San Francisco, the several of the players on the,
Starting point is 01:11:39 on the roster of the San Francisco Giants did not earn enough money to buy the average home. It's crazy. In the market. So let me go through this. Alabama to live comfortably, $83,000. Alaska, $96,000. I don't know if that's ever, I don't know if you're ever comfortable in Alaska. Unless you could change the climate completely.
Starting point is 01:12:00 Yeah, right. Arizona, $97,000. Arkansas, 79. California, 113. Colorado 103. Connecticut 100. Delaware 94. Florida, 93. Think of that. In Florida, it's 93. In Colorado, it's 100. Georgia, 96, Hawaii 113. Idaho, 88. Illinois, 95. Indiana, 85.
Starting point is 01:12:31 Iowa, 83. Kansas, 84. Kentucky. 80. Louisiana, 82. Louisiana, 82. Maine, 91. Why? You're spending bear traps? Maryland. It's a northeast state. Maryland 102. Massachusetts 116.
Starting point is 01:12:50 Michigan 84. Minnesota 89. Mississippi, 82. Missouri 84. Montana, 84. Nebraska, 83. A lot of these are like the bargain basement states. I know.
Starting point is 01:13:05 You're going to make $85,000 to, live comfortably. And that's just putting away some money for retirement. Like, that's not like living, you know, you're not flying private. Yeah, but you're not living paycheck to paycheck if you would live that way, if you'd do 50, 30, 20. Right. Nevada, 93.
Starting point is 01:13:24 And nobody does that. Do you know anybody who is young that has put 20% of their salary away for savings? I mean, it depends on what you mean by young. As you're starting out, you're just trying to make it, right? And pay your bills. but as you get older, like if, you know, you're trying to put some money away. I mean, that's... 20%?
Starting point is 01:13:41 It's hard to do. Really hard to do. Nevada 93. By the way, 50, 30, 20. Where are the taxes on this one? Is that... This is post-tax revenue, I assume. Because, uh, yeah, I mean, another 30s going to taxes.
Starting point is 01:13:55 So which part of it are you taking out? Nevada, that's why nobody saves. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, New Hampshire, 98, New Jersey, 103. To live in New Jersey. New Mexico 83, New York 11, North Carolina, 89, North Dakota, 52. North Dakota.
Starting point is 01:14:15 This is why people go to the Dakotas, I suppose. It's North Dakota, though. I mean, you don't even have the presidential thing on the mountain in that Dakota. That's true. Was that the Doug Bergam state? Yes, it is. So there you go. You got those eyebrows.
Starting point is 01:14:32 Those are kind of like, they are on the Mount Rushmore of eyebrows. I don't know that counts. Ohio 80. Oklahoma, 80, Oregon, 101. Pennsylvania, 91, Rhode Island, 100. Oh, my gosh, for Rhode Island? South Carolina, 88, South Dakota, 81, Tennessee, 86, Texas, 87, Utah, 93. Vermont, 95.
Starting point is 01:15:00 Virginia, 99. Washington, 106, West Virginia, 78. that's a state you could live in. Wisconsin, 84, Wyoming, 87. Wow. I mean, first of all, the red and blue state is, I don't know if it's perfect, but it's darn close to perfect as far as the differences.
Starting point is 01:15:18 It is. And you look at that and you just, you think, the old, it wasn't that long ago that we would say, oh my gosh, you know, that guy's earning six figures. It's doing really well. Yeah. But, I mean, that's just not even doing really well. No.
Starting point is 01:15:31 I mean, like, it's the way you're supposed to plan for your future. Yeah. And now you need to earn six figures in most states, or at least close to most states. And it's going to get worse. That's the problem. It's going to get worse. How are companies going to be able to keep up with it? How's that going to happen?
Starting point is 01:15:45 How's that going to happen? Yeah, but eventually people can't afford to produce the products that people want and people can't afford to buy the products that they need. I mean, you just recited the slogan for bionomics. Yes, I did. That's exactly it. Yes, I did. Yeah. Starts.
Starting point is 01:16:04 Bottom up. Bottom up. First people to be heard, the bottom. And eventually it hurts all the way up. In another remarkable story, the IMF has come out and said that Biden has got to stop money, printing money and spending money. The International Monetary Fund sounded the alarm on the Biden administration's rampant spending as, quote, out of line with what is needed for long. term fiscal stability. No. Yeah. Yeah. What?
Starting point is 01:16:39 Mm-hmm. It feels like it's right in line with exactly what you're supposed to do with each budget is spend trillions of dollars more than you have. I thought that was the way you're, that's the way you're supposed to be fiscally responsible. What is the 50, 30, 20 number for the United States right now? Like, it's like 80, 50, 0, 80, 80, 50, negative 30, right? Like, that's what we're doing. The savings is negative. 30% of the budget.
Starting point is 01:17:06 We're spending mandatories like 80% of what we have. And then there's another 50% discretionary. It's insanity. And we're getting to that point very soon where just the interest on the money we've already spent is going to be more than our entire defense budget. We're going to have to borrow over a trillion dollars a year just for the interest. I mean, this is unsustainable. And I don't, I really don't understand.
Starting point is 01:17:34 understand why more people can't see this. You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means. All right. Let's say you've got credit cards and your balance is $10,000. If you only make the minimum payment amount, it's going to take you eight and a half years. It's crazy.
Starting point is 01:17:51 And by the time you get it paid off because of the compounding interest, my gosh, especially if that interest is, you know, 20%, 25, 30, as much as 35%. You know how much you're going to have to pay? those eight and a half years. You can't let that happen. If you're a homeowner, you want to work on ways to get out from underneath that high interest debt, please give American financing a call.
Starting point is 01:18:15 Their salary-based mortgage consultants have saved so many people just like you, so much money over the years. Starting point is 01:19:46 I adore the canolies. Attain, there's a decision of limited. Reserved to R-Canada.com
Starting point is 01:19:52 or or to your agent of voyage. The conditions apply. There's a couple of things
Starting point is 01:20:08 going on. First of all, we start with Donald Trump. Only one third of U.S. adults say
Starting point is 01:20:14 Trump did something illegal in the Hush Money case. The jury selection began
Starting point is 01:20:19 Monday. I think they set seven people yesterday. And I'm sure he's going to
Starting point is 01:20:23 trial, while close to half think that he did something illegal in the other three criminal cases pending against him. And also, they don't think that the majority of people don't think that he's getting a fair shake in these trials. Yet half of Americans, if he is convicted of falsifying business documents to cover up hush money payments to the woman who said she had a sexual encounter with her, they think that he should go to jail and he would be unfit to serve his president if convicted. Was that percentage again?
Starting point is 01:21:02 Half. Half of Americans. But of course, that includes almost all Democrats, right? Correct. It's a very... But all you need to lose is 5% of voters, your toast in this election. It's interesting. I don't know that I believe them.
Starting point is 01:21:17 I mean, I keep coming at this skeptically. Like, I don't know the person who's like, you know, right now I'll vote for Trump. But, you know, tomorrow, if he gets... convicted of this whole business records thing. I don't even think I've met that person. I don't think that person exists. But I mean, maybe take it out of real hardcore people who are in politics and just people who kind of, you think about a patriotic American who's believed in the legal system their whole life. Maybe don't, don't follow politics all that closely and see, like, I'm not going to vote for a convicted felon. I mean, there probably are people who are like that.
Starting point is 01:21:48 I mean, that would have been me, you know, 10 years ago. Well, you're too involved. I think you would care too much about the details. I think you need to be disconnected to the details as well. You're living your life. You know, you've been more... No, but that's what I mean. Ten years ago, I would have never seen anything like this happening. I wouldn't have even thought of that somebody is going after somebody that's running against the president of the United States and they've just shoveled bull crap. I don't know. I mean, I think you're, you're forgetting how old you are because, you know, 10 years ago, Glenn, this is like 2014. Okay. So 20 years ago.
Starting point is 01:22:24 30 years ago maybe. Like, you're a morning show host. You might be, you know, back in the day. I could see that. But like, I think for people who are looking at the details and ins and outs of this every day, they're not going to fall for that. But a person who's been working at, you know, I work at, I own my own plumbing business. And like, I don't have time to deal with all the crazy news stuff.
Starting point is 01:22:43 But like, this guy, wait, this guy committed a felony. He's been convicted. I mean, I'm not going to vote for that guy. Maybe there's someone out there. I can't imagine you're switching sides, though. Or prioritizing that over. that over the fact that your plumbing business is being hit by biodynamics every day.
Starting point is 01:22:58 Correct. It's hard to believe those people really exist. I think at the end of the day, they convince themselves, wait a minute, I've got to make this decision based on something else. They do. They seem to be so confident that the Democrats do. And everyone knows it's the economy, stupid. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:15 Look at people cannot afford. They have no savings left. Prices continue to go up. I think they think they can convince people the economy is improving and good enough. And I will say the polls show over the past 18 months that it is working. We've gone from minus 60 on the economy, polling-wise, to about minus 18. Now, minus 18 is still horrible, and he will probably almost, Biden will almost definitely lose if the economy is at minus 18 when the election occurs.
Starting point is 01:23:51 But if it's around zero, he's got to. good chance of winning it. So he's gone from minus 60 to minus 18. If he can get that number to zero, historically, that's usually enough. How do you get this to zero? You don't have any oil left. So you can't open this strategic oil reserves anymore unless you empty them, which, you know, he might do. You can't bring the interest rate down, which would make free money available again. I think they were hoping that was happening. We saw the inflation numbers that were terrible. But again, like, you look at the Republican Party who didn't spend much time talking about that. I mean, the messaging from Republicans was not, hey, guys, the
Starting point is 01:24:32 inflation thing got worse. Powell's out there saying he's not going to reverse the rates. Like, it's not been more about like whether we're going to throw Johnson out or, you know, there's a bunch of different stuff people are talking about. It's not that. They're not focusing on that. And I think, you know, look, when you have the entire media telling you over and over and over again, that the economy is actually good. We don't understand why people aren't getting this. It's going to have an effect. The question is, is it enough of an effect to overturn one of the worst inflation-related economies we've seen in the past century? And right now, it's not enough. It has not worked yet to the degree that would get him over the hump in an election. Like,
Starting point is 01:25:15 if the election were held today, I think Trump would win it. But if it keeps going at this pace, It's going to be really freaking close. You remember the, it was the independent news channels that used to run, it's 10 o'clock. Do you know where your children are? It's like, wait a minute, you haven't thought about it. It's 10? What kind of parenting was happening in the 80s?
Starting point is 01:25:36 I think there should be something that it's like, it's 10 o'clock. Have you checked the price of milk and gas today? Because if people, I mean, I can't imagine when I'm going to the store and I'm looking at prices and going, what? Yeah. How is every American not there? I think many of them certainly were there. And look, prices have only gone up from 18 months ago. They just haven't gone up as quickly. So, you know, but again, eventually people start getting used to where they are and the new normal sort of kicks in and people adjust their expectations and partisan policy kicks back in. For the first time ever. Right, but like mid-2020,
Starting point is 01:26:20 There's not, you know, you got the midterm election, but we're far away from a presidential. And remember, even in that scenario, Republicans underperformed. What happens in 2024? The Glenn Beck program. If you know Christians in your life, you've probably heard, I think Jesus is coming. If you listen to this program, you've probably heard me say that. I think Jesus is, that's more of a hopeful thing for me. It's like, I see no way out.
Starting point is 01:27:40 Maybe Jesus can come and solve it. But how close are we? I mean, nobody's going to know the time or whatever. But there are some things. Is that right from the Bible? What verse is that? No one's going to know the time or whatever. What verse?
Starting point is 01:27:56 Yeah. It's in Glenn's Book of Revelation. Oh, yeah. Well, that is in there. Yeah. So anyway, nobody's going to know. But there are signs that we look for. And something that's been kicked around on the Internet lately
Starting point is 01:28:09 is this red heifer story. The red heifer, there are 10 red heifers that need to be sacrificed. The tenth is the sign of the red heifer of the savior or the redeemer of the world coming back. Okay. But is that right? I mean, is that the way the, I don't know. Is that the way the Jewish prophecy is written? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:28:40 I grew up, you know, always hearing about the end of days, but I don't know how much of it has really been done. Where we are on the list. It's a big checklist. It's like every Saturday Jesus gets a honey-do list, and he's like, okay, I got to restore Israel and the gathering of Israel. Now the red heifer thing. Where are we on his honey-do list?
Starting point is 01:29:00 We're going to go there in 60 seconds. Let me ask you a question. What are you truly an expert at? Come on. there's something, at least one or two things you're really good at. Some hobbies we're okay at, then, you know, we pretty much suck at everything else. But with that in mind, when you're looking to buy or sell your home, you need to get a real estate agent who is truly an expert at it. Somebody that that's the thing, they're like, yep, I'm not a hobbyist. I am really good at this
Starting point is 01:29:29 one thing. You need somebody who really doesn't suck. That's why I started my company, Real Estate Agents I Trust.com, over a decade ago. Was there any thought about making it real estate agents that don't suck? Oh yeah, no, there was that conversation. Really? Yes, absolutely there was. It's real estate agents, I trust.com. I didn't know how to pick a real estate agent at all, and I've moved a lot in my life.
Starting point is 01:29:55 And every time, lose money on houses, no idea how to get a good real estate agent. So I started working with the 500 best real estate agents in the country, according to the Wall Street Journal. and I learned a lot. And we decided to put this into a company that I don't charge you anything for this information. We go, we look at all of the people and you call us up and say, hey, I'm moving from here to here, need to sell a house here, buy a house here, whether it's across the street or across the country, and we will help you find the right real estate agent. Real estate agents, I trust.com.
Starting point is 01:30:31 Real estate agents, I trust.com. Bill Cloud is with us. He's from Shoresham Ministries. He's the founder of that and Jacob's 10th Follow Ship founder. Welcome to the program, sir. How are you? I'm doing well. How are you today?
Starting point is 01:30:48 Very good. It's good to have you on again. So, Good to be here. Tell me the red heifer thing. I heard back in the 90s, I think it was. People were talking about the red heifer that, you know, they're rare. But I think there was a, I think it was an American farm.
Starting point is 01:31:04 Maybe Florida. I'm not, I can't remember. that had a bunch of red heifers and the sent him over to Israel. Is that right? Yeah, I think the, it was from Mississippi was the farmer. Anyway, I don't remember that. But anyway, it was back in the late 90s, 97. And there was one red heifer.
Starting point is 01:31:24 They even named her Melody. And I think they put her on the cover of Newsweek or time or something like that. But anyway, you know, it created a big stir about the red heifer. And red heifer is connected to the idea of the possibility of a rebuilt, temple. And so, yeah, there was a lot of chatter back as far back as the late 90s. Okay, so there's been nine red heifers that have been sacrificed since Moses, and that's to purify the temple? Well, the red heifer is basically, thematically, it's the antidote for the golden calf. The golden calf is, you know, about rebellion, death. Moses has that
Starting point is 01:32:03 ground into powder, mixes it with water, people drink it. That identifies. is guilty, death. The red heifer, it's burned, the ashes are collected, it's mixed with spring water or pure water, and then those who have been contaminated, and particularly with contact with something that is dead, you're purified and you're cleansed ceremonially. And so the idea is that you can approach God, where before, with the golden calf, I'm not going to go with these people. If I go with them, I'll have to kill them.
Starting point is 01:32:35 They're so stubborn, but then he made allowance. And so it is for ceremonial cleansing in order to approach God. So that's important in relation to the rebuilding of a temple because they don't have a temple at this point. Religious Jews see the temple as the manifestation of God's presence on Earth. They want to be able to approach God in that regard. And so the ashes of a red heifer with the waters of purification are essential if things are going to be cleansed. the temple mount, all the utensils, all the implements that go into the sanctuary and the people who go up to the temple mount. Okay. So in a nutshell. In, I think it was on the 100th day
Starting point is 01:33:19 anniversary of October 7th, Hamas came out and they talked about really the red heifer and said that the Jews are going to start purifying the temple mount and, you know, this is an act of war. and they knew exactly what the red heifer meant. But we've had a red heifer before. Why have we not, why did they not use that red heifer and make that to 10th? And why is this one supposedly the 10th? Well, the one that I referred to from 97, you know,
Starting point is 01:33:55 they were watching it, but it actually grew some hairs that were, you know, for different color because this red heifer has to be entirely red. There can't be hairs of the, different color, which is why it would make it so rare. So my understanding is at this point, among these red heifers, they feel like they have some that are still qualified, you know, that would be eligible to be, you know, slaughtered and burned, etc. So, yeah, as far as the Muslim world, and particularly, you know, the likes of Hamas and the Hezbollah and people like that, that's going to get them up in arms. And so that's, I would say that that's what makes it a little different, is that they're reportedly among these red herders, some that they feel are qualified to be slaughtered for that purpose.
Starting point is 01:34:43 And they've already built the ramp, I guess, to the altar, and they've built an altar, which I don't know if that's been done before. And they're claiming that before the Passover, somewhere, you know, around this time, that they're going to, slaughter the heifer and burn the heifer ceremonially, correct? Well, from what I understand, let me backtrack just a minute. An altar, there were people who had built, quote, unquote, altars in times past to make a statement,
Starting point is 01:35:20 a political statement. I mean, 67, religious Jews have been pushing to rebuild the temple. In 1990, I was in Jerusalem at the Western Wall and a group that wants to see the temple rebuilt came in with what they said was going to be the cornerstone of the temple. And it was symbolic. It was a protest. It was saying, hey, we're here. We're going to push for this.
Starting point is 01:35:40 So through the years, there have been different things that have happened. And it seems to me it's particularly around the time of Passover when you hear all this chatter and also in the fall feast around the Feast of Tabernacles. So as far as this altar, I've heard rumors. I haven't seen anything that's absolutely verified. But here's the issue. If a group of people have red heifers and even goes so far as to slaughter it and burn the ashes, is that going to be accepted by the greater religious community? Right.
Starting point is 01:36:13 That's uncertain, frankly. Yeah, because who has the authority to do it? Well, that's just it. You know, it's entirely possible, and I want to underscore that word possible, that the group that is pushing this right now who have these heifers, if there is one that they deem to be qualified to be slaughtered and burned. Okay, so they do that. Is the greater religious community going to regard that and accept that? Here's another issue. What about the Israeli government? I tend to think they're going to frown very much. Yeah, very much so.
Starting point is 01:36:50 You could have ashes. They could do it. They can have ashes that are just sitting there. Point being is just because you have a red heifer, and I'm not saying that's unimportant, but just because you have a red heifer, and even if they burn it, which is when I'll perk up and take notice, even then if you have the ashes, that doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to start next week in rebuilding the temple. Right. Because if they burn a red heifer, Glenn, everybody's going to hear about it, including the Muslim world, including the Israeli government. It's going to, that would be a provocation. Now, one day it's going to happen, but is it now?
Starting point is 01:37:28 Who knows? So, Bill, the people who are doing it are the people from the Temple Institute, who, from what I understand, I was over there. I talked to some of them while I was over there last couple of times. They say they have everything that is required to rebuild the temple. They say if the temple, if it could be cleared so they could build it, they have everything they need to build it, build it except for the red heifer at the time. You know, and permission to go up on the temple mountain build it. Is that true? Do they have everything? That's what I was told years ago.
Starting point is 01:38:11 Yeah. I mean, for years, the Temple Institute has been, you know, creating the garments for the priests, all the different utensils, all the different furnishings. And, I mean, this is going back 15 years or more, you know, when I was there at the Temple Institute visiting, they said, yeah, we've got all those things. The only thing that they didn't have was, you know, the Ark of the Covenant. And as you said, you know, there was an eligible red heifer for the waters of purification. So I think, you know, they're very, very motivated to see the Temple rebuilt. but I believe that they also realize that it's not just getting everything together and boom, here we go.
Starting point is 01:38:56 There's a lot of things that are going to have to be considered. So what has to – we've made a lot of progress, and these things could take a thousand years to check off the last couple, and it could happen tomorrow. You never know. How far down the line are we on the known prophecy of the known prophecy of the – of the things that have to happen before, you know, the clock starts ticking for the return of Christ. Well, I think the clock has already started ticking.
Starting point is 01:39:32 Now, let me say this. When it comes to Bible prophecy and being fulfilled, it is my experience that it almost never happens the way we think is going to happen. It just always happens the way it's written. And then when it happens, we go, oh, that's what he meant, you know. So it doesn't happen necessarily according to our interpretation. It happens the way God says it's going to happen. So that being understood, here's Bill's opinion.
Starting point is 01:39:57 When seasons change, the weather changes. And every spring in our part of the country, and you're familiar with it there in Texas as well, when springtime comes around, you know, you have the potential for violent weather. And sometimes we get severe thunderstorm watches, but that if the conditions, you know, worsen than it can become a warning. My opinion is this constitutes a thunderstorm watch. It doesn't mean that we're under a warning. It doesn't mean it's necessarily imminent. Now, things can change tomorrow, as you said, and all bets are off and everything's going really fast. And when you say that this is a warning, not a watch, you're talking about the red heifer. I'm thinking that the presence
Starting point is 01:40:41 of red heifers constitutes, if I can put it this way, you know, we're under a thunderstorm. watch, not a warning. It doesn't mean that the rebuilding of a temple is imminent. It means that there are people in the land of Israel who want to see that happen. They've been working toward that. They've been preparing for that. They're going to have everything in place when the time is right, at least in their eyes. And can I say this as well?
Starting point is 01:41:07 You know, sometimes the Bible describes things that, well, the Bible prescribes, you know, God said, don't eat the fruit of that tree. And then the Bible describes what people do. And they ate the fruit of that tree. And so the Bible does talk about there being a temple in the last days, but does that mean that God sanctions it or does it mean that people pushed for it? And that's a big difference. And so that's why I say our interpretation sometimes, things don't happen the way we think
Starting point is 01:41:36 it's going to happen. But back to your question, where are we? I do believe we're in the last days. And I do believe the Messiah is returning. Is he going to return in my lifetime? I don't know. Nobody knows that. So in that thing, I want to make sure that I'm focusing on all the things that he said were important.
Starting point is 01:41:57 And with all due respect, he didn't say, okay, be on the watch for a red heifer. He didn't. I mean, I'm not trying to demean the role of a red her. effort will play as it relates to the end days. But that's not what he said to be on the lookout for. What he said was, you need to be careful that no one deceives you. You need to be aware of in the last days the lawlessness in the world is going to become so pervasive that if it were possible, even the very elect would be carried away by it. And it's going to be so bad that some people are just going to give up. They're just going to quit their fate. And so these are the things
Starting point is 01:42:42 that he said that you and I need to be aware of. So, you know, sometimes, and I want to be very careful, and I'll say this because, you know, I've taught prophecy for, you know, 30 plus years. I believe in Bible prophecy. I believe that God says these things, and they will happen according to His well. But sometimes we can get so focused on what we think is going to happen or what we want to happen that we can lose sight of what God is actually doing
Starting point is 01:43:10 and saying in this moment. And so I'm not ready to declare that because there are red heppers in Israel that there's going to be a third temple built, you know, right away. I don't know, but I'm not ready to say that. If they burn a red heifer, we're all going to hear about it, I guarantee you. And if they burn a red heifer, then I'll go, oh, okay, well, let's pay attention and see what happens now. Right. Because they can sit there for a long time. It doesn't mean that they have to build it.
Starting point is 01:43:37 It's just one other thing off the checklist. Right. you know, and things could be that way, and they could sit in, you know, limbo for a while, or, you know, conditions can change. Iran can decide to do something like they did the other day and wrap it up, and people, you know, take that as an opportunity to do certain things. I mean, things can happen overnight, 9-11, you know, our world changed overnight. So I'm not going to discount that possibility.
Starting point is 01:44:03 I'm just saying that for me, as far as this Red Heifer component of Bible prophecy, I'd say, okay, we have a thunderstorm watch. We just need to be watching and seeing what happens. And it doesn't necessarily mean it's imminent. Bill, I'd love to have you back maybe tomorrow if you have time, because I'd like to talk to you about the relationship between Russia and Iran and what we're facing there, and if that plays a role in any of the things that we are supposed to be looking for. But also you mentioned the Ark of the Covenant.
Starting point is 01:44:36 You can't have the temple rebuilt without the Ark of the Covenant. And there seems to be some people that believe, don't worry, we know exactly where it is. Could I get you to come back on the program? Talk about those things. Yes. Great. Sure. Just let me know when.

I want to have him back because he is, there are people that say they know where they are, the covenant is. And it's, where do they say, it's been Ethiopia for a long time? I was in a warehouse. It's, it's what I say. Just to check the United States government.
Starting point is 01:46:22 We're always behind it. But anyway, it's hard to believe that, can you imagine if somebody said, we found the arc of the covenant? What? It would be kind of a big deal. It would be a really big deal. Don't look at it directly. Don't open it. Whatever you do. If it opens. I want to check and see what's inside. Don't do it. Don't do that. Don't do that. it. Have you watched the movie? The documentary. But they think that they know where it is. And it's the people who are with the Temple Institute, the people that have, you know, built everything in advance. I've seen a lot of it. They just finished the golden menorah, which was a really big deal because it's a giant menorah and it's solid gold. And so they finished all of the, they have everything except for the,
Starting point is 01:47:14 the Ark of the Covenant. And they say, don't worry. We know exactly where it is. You need like an archaeologist. Someone, someone maybe who's a professor, you know, to kind of go where? Like you'd have to be like at Stanford or something.
Starting point is 01:47:31 He's something like Stanford. Yeah. Yeah. And, you know, maybe his dad was someone who also. All right. All right. All right. But imagine that in our lifetime hearing,
Starting point is 01:47:41 oh, we found the Ark of the Covenant. I mean, it would be almost like the aliens thing happening. And that happened, we were all like, oh. UF what? Oh, yeah, I don't know. I'm not paying attention. Kardashians are on new season. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:47:55 But I would imagine there's going to be a picture of this and verification of this. As much as they could verify it. It'll be right after deep fakes take over and no one will believe it. That's right. Maybe. Yeah. Maybe. All right, back in a minute. So they always tell you, never bring a knife to a gunfight.
Starting point is 01:48:16 That's true. you bring a gun or a bazooka or whatever will get the job done as fast and from a distance as possible. But what they never tell you is that, you know, to bring a gun to a knife fight is going to be a problem. There's a situation where there's danger that can be solved without having to resort to the use of lethal force. If you pull your gun at a fist fight, there's going to be problems for you. you. Starting point is 01:49:31 Tonight, Stu does America. Glenn TV, back to back. Don't miss it. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. We're glad you're here. It's time for Sports Talk with Glenn Beck. No. It's...
Starting point is 01:50:05 Yeah! No. It's really not. Do you have the sports talk music? Sports talk with Glenn Beck, America's preeminent sports expert. A man who knows all sorts of things about activities with bouncing rubber balls. Can you name who Cass Sunstein's wife is? Samantha Power! Okay, well, that's, yes.
Starting point is 01:50:31 Okay. It took me a minute, but I think that was it. Yeah, it's good. It's good. You know, Glenn, you are such a sports expert. Shut up. I got it. I thought I'd bring a couple of issues to your attention.
Starting point is 01:50:43 Now, I know you know about these already, but if you want to pretend like you don't for the audience's benefit, you bring them along, that's fine. All right, all right. Let's go. Okay. So, Caitlin Clark, do you aware who Caitlin Clark is? She's tall. She's... Okay, well, that's pretty good.
Starting point is 01:50:57 Basketball. She's basketball. She's basketball. Yes. Something just happened with her. Yes. That's why you're talking about her. great analysis.
Starting point is 01:51:05 A lot of people wouldn't have picked that up. All right. Stu's probably talking about that because nothing happened with her would be the initial thought of most people. But you figured that one out. You noodled it. She's a college basketball player. Or at some point was.
Starting point is 01:51:19 Yes. In fact, probably the best college basketball player of all time in women's sports. And she's now going to the WNBA. She was drafted number one overall. The WNBA draft. In fact, one unnamed general manager in the league said they would trade their entire team for just her. That's how good they think she is.
Starting point is 01:51:37 And how much money they think she'll bring in, right? Like she... Tens of dollars. No, I mean, legitimately, the highest rated basketball game, men's or women's in the last five years, was her college basketball, I think, the final game. This is like... Tastic.
Starting point is 01:51:54 Higher ratings than the men's college. Higher ratings than Major League Baseball games. Sure. Higher ratings than most of college football games. Like, this was legitimately... a phenomenon. Okay. So she's going into the WNBA. Do it twice. Go ahead. So she's going to the WNBA. WNBA. Yeah. And she. Those those bastards at the NBA won't let her play. And well, they would let her play, I guess, but I don't think she'd enjoy that experience all that
Starting point is 01:52:20 much. But are you saying that she could not play in the WNBA? Yes. That is exactly what I'm saying. And I love her. I'm a fan. I'm a fan. Yeah, all right. Got it. She's going in the WMBA. Big controversy going on right now. Why? Her salary. Glenn. Do you know what her salary is going to be in the WNBA? No, wait a minute. I just want to make sure. Her salary is probably not very much because she's chosen to go into a line of work and work for the witness protection program of sports. Right?
Starting point is 01:52:54 She's going into the WNBA, so she's pretty much in the witness protection program. You'll never hear from her again. And like, let me ask you this. Do you know what team she's going to? No idea. It's Indiana. Indiana. Then their name is, the Indiana.
Starting point is 01:53:09 The Hoosers. Hoosiers. She's not going to the Indiana Hoosiers. She's not going to the... A lateral move from... Okay, I don't know. Perhaps previous years. No idea.
Starting point is 01:53:18 Indiana fever. Fever. Have you ever heard that name before? No. No. I didn't think so. The Michael Bubley song. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 01:53:26 Which was done. A remake. Yes. Not really. Yeah. I think Nancy Sinatra at one point. So it could be a male or a female singing that song. Now, fever.
Starting point is 01:53:34 You know who else doesn't know who the Indiana fever are? All other Americans. I was going to say. Yes. Should have let me answer that one. Because I got that one right. That one you know. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:53:43 Okay. So the idea is that this is, she's going to be making, I think, $75,000 a year or something. Wow. That's going to be her salary going in the WMBA. That much. Now, she is also going to make multiple millions of dollars in endorsements. She is a legitimate star. Does she hate America?
Starting point is 01:54:03 No, it doesn't seem that way, which is incredible. Well, she may not make as much money then as she considered hating America. She should consider it. For her financial situation, she should despise America. And you know, she should block a highway outside of O'Hare Airport. She should do that. What color is she? Ooh, the bad one.
Starting point is 01:54:19 She is white. Is she lesbian? I, I know. Actually, I don't know. I don't know anything about her love life. So she may be. She may not be. She has a boyfriend.
Starting point is 01:54:29 Yes, she has a boyfriend. That's disappointing. That's disappointing. She's hurting her financial future. She's killing her. She'll forever make $75,000 if they allow her to play. Well, right now they're allowing your play very excited about it. So the idea is, though, this is sexist because the NBA pays their players millions and millions of dollars.
Starting point is 01:54:47 Yeah, you know why? You know why? NBA makes millions and millions of dollars on their players. The WNBA does not. In fact, loses money. Right. And it's subsidized by the NBA. Correct.
Starting point is 01:54:58 So you want to, you know, you should raise ticket prices and then have absolutely no one there. And they will raise ticket prices for Caitlin Clark only, and they will put her in larger arenas and they will make money off of her. Maybe she's the one that can kickstart this thing and does something that people care about. That's the thing that people forget is that the early NBA stars also made no money. When people didn't care about the NBA, they also were not making millions of dollars a year. It was only after those people began, built the league, then it turned into a multi-million
Starting point is 01:55:30 dollar factory, right? Yeah. Well, it wasn't just building the league. It was finding a way to just squeeze every human being that likes that game for every dollar they would possibly cough up. That's true. That's called, yeah, that's capitalism. In a way, people don't like that faction. But I mean, if you're willingly spending your money, yeah, that's fantastic.
Starting point is 01:55:52 Sure. And I can't imagine anybody willingly buying a ticket to the W. I would totally buy one to watch her. And then never think about the league again after I walked out of the arena. But still. Okay. So she's like, what you're saying. is she's a circus freak to you. You'll go in and go in and open up the curtain of the tent once to see her, but then you've
Starting point is 01:56:11 seen her, and so you move on. It's kind of all sports. I don't even think that's an insult. Okay, all they're all freaks, right? They're all amazing athletes that do things that I can't possibly comprehend. But you would go see her time and time again, or just that one? I mean, with her, I might go. Okay.
Starting point is 01:56:27 Yeah. She is crossed the line, I think, and made the sport interesting. Okay, good. But it might just be her. I don't intend on watching any women's basketball games that do not include Caitlin Clark. Okay. And in my future. Maybe even my daughter plays.
Starting point is 01:56:41 She could make more money if she played in every game. That's true. Okay. So that's the level of your analysis on that. Yes. So not sexist. You don't think there's any. That's what everyone's saying.
Starting point is 01:56:53 Yeah. Everybody's saying a lot of crazy stuff right now. I mean, I can't believe I have to comment on this. This is crazy. Yeah. But the way the world works. May I steal a point from Bill Burr, the comedian, who points out that, like, you know,
Starting point is 01:57:07 feminists could just buy tickets to the WMBA if they were so worried about this. Just go. How come you don't show up to the games? No, because they want the man to pay for it. Right. Why do men have to support the WMBA? You, I want all feminist, annoying, AOC, hairy armpit women to be at these games,
Starting point is 01:57:27 and they don't show up. You know what? You say you need a man as much. as a fish needs a bicycle. There you go. There you go. Make it happen. Sell your own seats. All right. Now, second sports issue. Oh, God.
Starting point is 01:57:40 Glenn Beck Talk Sports. Wait a minute. Issue two. We're not used. Glennberg. Preeminent man of the people. Yeah, that's me. The ultimate male. That's a man who definitely doesn't go to Broadway eight times a year.
Starting point is 01:57:56 Well, not anymore. Not anymore. He's too far now. He goes to local theater. So I do that. but it's more than just too far away. It's gone crazy. If he goes in, they're definitely charging him with a crime he didn't commit. That's what happens in New York State.
Starting point is 01:58:12 Thank you, Letitia James. Okay. Trevor Bauer, do you know who he is? No. Ever heard the name, Trevor Bauer? I think we've talked about Trevor Bauer, so you have heard his name, but do you remember his name? No. Okay. Trevor Bauer was a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Starting point is 01:58:30 Relation at all to Samantha Power. It's not Samantha, no, Bauer. B-A-U. A rhyme, could be. It could be. That's not how that works at all. Maybe a branch that was like, I got to get away from the powers. Okay.
Starting point is 01:58:43 So this is, you know, a story that you may remember from 2020. He won the Cy Young Award, Trevor. Oh, this is the guy who was accused by all kinds of women for, you know, raping them or whatever. It was a Me Too situation. He lost everything. And then it turns out, no. not so much and he can't get his life back. Okay, so you have some memory of the story.
Starting point is 01:59:04 That's kind of what it was. So basically he was charged by many women of sexually abusing. He was not a, I mean, he did a lot of things he probably shouldn't have. Right, but I think he admitted that at the time. Yeah, he said they're all consensual. Right. And he, if I remember, right either at the time or right after, one of them had emails where she was like, I'm going to get him.
Starting point is 01:59:25 Yes, there was text between one of the women. and her friends saying like she was going to get him for money and she's going to do all these things. Now, if you have some time, it may be worth. If you want to rewatch one of the most tragic things you'll ever see in her life was the Sarah Gonzalez interview with this accuser, which was one of the most devastating pieces of media over the past 10 years or so. Really?
Starting point is 01:59:49 Oh, my gosh. How did I not see that? Oh, it was incredible. I mean, Sarah was just like, so! I don't believe anything. everything you're saying, here's what. If she's on it, she's brutal. It was uncomfortable to watch.
Starting point is 02:00:04 Now, this is, so that all happened already. He released all of these details and it was seemingly obvious something else was going on here that she was trying to get money out of him. So now we have another one, another woman who had accused him of impregnating her back in 2020. She, how's the baby doing? Well, the baby wasn't born. Oh, shockingly.
Starting point is 02:00:26 Now, he did, again, this is not a, I don't know that Trevor Bowers is a good guy. He apparently paid for the termination of this particular pregnancy, which she may have kept this money. She said she had a miscarriage. Maybe she wasn't pregnant at all. Who knows what the actual truth is? What we do know is now that this woman who accused Trevor Bauer of sex assault is now charged with defrauding him. This is by Arizona police who are saying, yeah, this was not true. So is this all leading to the question of when does he get his life back?
Starting point is 02:00:59 In fact, he asked that exact question. Here's his quote. What else do I have to do to prove that this entire situation has been a massive lie? This is insane. At what point do I get to go back to work and continue earning a living? Is that what you're asking me? I'm asking you his question. Good luck.
Starting point is 02:01:15 It's called the memory hole. You know, I've been going over in 1984. I'm kind of in that George Orwell kind of state right now. You know, memory hole comes from. from that book? No, I remember that. You would take the memories and all of the things that prove one thing or another, and you'd put it in a hole in the wall and it would be incinerated.
Starting point is 02:01:35 And it would go up in smoke. It's called the memory hole. Yeah. Okay. His life is in the memory hole. No going to bring you back. Sorry. He doesn't get to come back.
Starting point is 02:01:45 No, this is the way cancel culture works. This is the way the ministry of truth works. The ministry of love or the ministry of hate works. you have enough hate so we can all love. You have enough misrepresentation and mistruth to be able to prove the truth. That's the culture we're in. So don't expect it to work out. Sorry, dude, I really feel bad for you.
Starting point is 02:02:13 Sorry, but you're not getting your life back. You know, when do we get our opportunities back? When do I get my name back? When do I get my name back? I have been doing this job for 20 some years. Anybody who has listened to me over the last 25 years, you know I've said some stupid things, but I've also said some really things that are turned out to be absolutely true
Starting point is 02:02:38 that I was just crucified for saying, when do I get my life back? You know when? Never. It's just part of it. That's the way it is. Now, let's all work so we have a more just society. And the way you get it more just society is not to push
Starting point is 02:02:54 injustice for justice, not to push hate for love. It doesn't work that way. Not to tell people lies to get them to understand the truth. No. No, it doesn't work that way. This is a failed system and it will continue to enslave and destroy and eat people. It will, it is, it will, it's, Inhuman. And it will dehumanize people until it burns itself out when society wakes up. When they go, hey, you know what? Maybe the Lord makes more sense than these social scientists who have brought us nothing but despair and destruction. So, sorry.
Starting point is 02:03:45 I mean, I know that's not in the sports, you know, attitude like, hey, go Rams or whatever. But whatever he plays for. This is been Glenn Beck Talksports. Thank you. We have a video I want to show you here just a few seconds of New Yorkers chanting four more years for Donald Trump. in Harlem yesterday, outside of a bodega that was victimized by a Soros-funded DA. Okay? The guy, the guy defended himself. Look at this.
Starting point is 02:06:22 This is Harlem. And because of Alvin Bragg, this guy who defended his bodega, defended himself, is now being charged with murder, even though it was self-defense.
