Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello, America, and welcome to Wednesday. Big show for you. Today, you don't want to miss a single second. We've got stuff on Donald Trump and hydroxychloroquine. And Cuomo's great, great piece on how irresponsible that is. Little does he know his wife. Let everyone know he was just taking the natural version of it. He was taking quinine for his cure for COVID.
Starting point is 00:00:33 Quinine is just the natural bark. Hydroxychloroquine is quinine except made by a chemical company. And he's on TV going, it has no properties that can heal you. It's dangerous. Really? Then why did your Earth, Sky, and Space Mother, as a, doctor prescribe it for you Cuomo we have that coming up more news on ukraine big breaking news with joe biden in ukraine coming up in just a second also yesterday something big happened with matt
Starting point is 00:01:10 lauer matt lauer spoke out for the first time and has come out strongly against ronan farrow now this just broke yesterday and two days ago the new york times did a kind of i think a soft porn version of what Matt was talking about. They didn't really expose Farrow. They just said, well, it looks like maybe he's not quite the golden child and might be cutting some corners. Oh, he looks like he is definitely cutting corners and people are paying big time for it. John Ziegler, who is the guy who has been behind the scenes with Matt Lauer over the last
Starting point is 00:01:54 few months, talking to him one-on-one, joins us in one minute. This is the Glenn Beck program. I want to thank you so much for joining us at the Glenn Beck program today. Our sponsor is Relief Factor. Relief Factor, what can I say? If you are in pain, get out of pain. I know that sounds really super easy. I know that's something you probably roll your eyes out if you've been in pain for a long time.
Starting point is 00:02:22 You're like, yeah, yeah, I got it, Glenn. I got it. Nothing works for me. I know I've been there. Would you just try relief factor? Just that's all I ask you. Just give it a try. It's $20.
Starting point is 00:02:32 You try it for three weeks. If it doesn't work, you stop taking it. Now, this would be the dumbest scam of all time if it didn't work for most people, right? I mean, it would be like, I was out $20 and it didn't work. 20 bucks, try it for three weeks. 70% of the people who try it go on to order more every month. I take it three times a day, have taken it three times a day because it works for me. And it has gotten me to be able to use my hands again and be able to get out of pain again.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Get my life back. Get yours back with Relieffactor.com. That's Relieffactor.com. 1-800-58384. 800-5384. Tonight, 9 p.m. Eastern on Glenn TV. Coronavirus tyrants have tried to crush our freedoms. But some Americans are fighting back.
Starting point is 00:03:20 A lot of people are calling to say, how do we help you? I say, open your business. Every officer stood up for what they believed. It'd be a non-issue. I'd close my shop the day they come in here with handcuffs or Jesus comes, one or the other. Is this the birth of a new civil rights movement? Glenn takes back common sense in America. Tonight, 9 p.m. Eastern at blaisdivet.com slash Glenn.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Well, now we have a man named John Ziegler on with us to speak to us about what's happening in the media and Rowan Farrow. And we take you to Rowan Farrow and the media via Matt Lauer. John, welcome to the program. Glenn, good to talk to you. How are you? Well, you know, talk to me. You said that I have a love-hate relationship with America. I just wish I could find out where the love was.
Starting point is 00:04:14 I mean, that's the part of the... You get lots of love from us, John. You get lots of love from us. I think there's a lot of people that look at what you write and appreciate. Unfortunately, we're not in a time that is appreciating, that appreciates people who tell the truth as it is. Some people do it, and they're pilloried for it, but they keep doing it. And in the end, they will be remembered as icons of this time.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Well, I'll tell my wife that. I'm sure that'll make her feel much better. Yeah, I know. Eat all those icons you can get. So, John, you called me, I don't even remember what it was, six months ago or so. And I was driving down the highway in California. and you called me and you said, I just had a call from Matt Lauer. And I said, shut up.
Starting point is 00:05:05 And you said, yeah. And he invited me to his house and I went. Can you tell the story of how this happened and what it was like? Because I read your column yesterday and I read it again this morning. It's an amazing tale. Yeah, there's so many different aspects. the story. I think for your listeners, there's the back story, which I'm definitely a huge part of, but then I'm sure we're going to get to the biggest part of the story, which is
Starting point is 00:05:34 that Ronan Farrow is a fraud, and that the media is completely broken, especially on this issue of sex abuse allegations. But just as a little bit of backdrop, I had appeared on the today show three times when Matt Lauer was the host and three very contentious interviews. He did me no favors. We were not buddies, but he respected my work, and he knew I was someone who would tell the truth, regardless of what the ramifications were for me. That's kind of been my reputation. I'll actually defend people I don't even like if I think that they've been wrongly accused. And I think my track record on my track record on this is pretty outstanding. And so I had kept in touch with one of his producers and he had contacted that
Starting point is 00:06:18 person to get in touch with me. I went across the country, spent about five or six hours with him. And you know me well enough to know, Glenn, that when I do this, this is not a a softball situation. I'm not, actually, when I go into a situation like this, I am trying to prove that the person I'm dealing with or interviewing is actually guilty. So, because, so that I don't have to deal with this. I don't want this, okay? This is not something I'm seeking out.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I want to make sure that the person that I'm dealing with is telling me the truth. And anyone who knows me knows I can smoke out of fraud in about five seconds. So when I spent five hours with somebody in there, kitchen alone. I got a pretty good sense of it. I already felt like I knew Matt pretty well because we've been in a foxhole against each other three times. And then after that, I wrote a column for mediaite saying, there's a completely different story here. Ronan Farrow has, in my view, blown this, but there's no way for Matt Lauer to tell his story in this modern media environment, especially post-Me2, where all the rules have completely changed. The media is completely broken. There's
Starting point is 00:07:26 not enough scrutiny. There's not enough time. Once the narrative is set, it's over with. Well, I wasn't sure what was going to happen at that point when I spoke to you. I didn't know whether Matt would end up doing an interview with Oprah or whatever. Anyway, Matt asked me, he said, look, I have all this information that this book Ronan Farrow wrote is completely false and and provably false, and that Ronan Farrow didn't even people he references in the book, including two of the person that Pharaoh uses to accuse me of rape. Now, think about how insane it is, Glenn, that two ex-boyfriends are willing to speak person who effectively they should have romantic jealousy towards, who can't do anything for them.
Starting point is 00:08:22 They're still in the media business. And, you know, Matt Lauer is now a pariah. And you know how the media business works. I mean, nobody wants to do anything to threaten their gig. This is the easiest way to threaten your gig in the world. Speaking out on behalf of Matt Lauer against Ronan Farrow. Right. And these are key people in the book.
Starting point is 00:08:42 These are key people that Pharaoh uses to corroborate this alleged story of what he now calls rape that he didn't even check with who tell totally different stories. do that not only don't corroborate the accuser's story, but say, no, that didn't happen. Let me tell you what really happened. And so Lauer says to me, after, I mean, hours and hours and hours of conversation, what do I do? What is there a mainstream reporter that I can provide this to that will be fair about this? And I did some research. I talked to some people I thought were possible.
Starting point is 00:09:18 I've been through these wars before. And I came back to him, I said, Matt, there's no way. You can't do it. The media is so broken that what will happen is if you give the information that you have accumulated via your own investigation of this, there's not one mainstream reporter at a major outlet that will have the ability and the guts to actually see this through. They will absolutely turn it against you. They will diminish everything you have found because it doesn't do them any good. Because the truth doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:09:52 It's not about the truth. It's about the narrative. It's about making sure you protect your own gig. Do you protect your position in the media club? That's what this is. It's a club. And no one wants to go outside the herd because they'll get run over. And the easiest way to get run over is going up against Ronan Farrow.
Starting point is 00:10:08 And so I said, Matt, the only way you can do this is if you write this yourself and use your own celebrity, your own journalistic abilities, your own connections to the story to personalize it. And so this was an incredibly long process. I mean, just insane. I mean, I can't even, and maybe at some other point, I'll tell you the full story about all this when we had more time. But the reality is it was, it was months and months, and it was intended to come out way before this,
Starting point is 00:10:39 but obviously the coronavirus situation hit. And there was no way you're going to do that in the middle of the pandemic. But then the New York Times came out earlier this week via Ben Smith, I think you are accurately described. It was a soft push against Ronan Farrow saying, hey, look, is Ronan Farrow really as good as he appears to be? Is he too good to be true? And let's just say, Glenn, that wasn't a coincidence that that came out
Starting point is 00:11:06 when it did and how it did. And this was, there was a plan involved in all this. So that's exactly good news, though, John. That shows that they are softening the land. to be able to possibly flip on Ronan Farrell. I mean, it was an amazing story from the New York Times where they were saying, you know, I mean, he's a golden boy, he's great, but maybe he was thrown into the deep end, you know,
Starting point is 00:11:32 before he was ready to do journalism. And so he didn't know all of the rules. Oh, my gosh, that's your criticism. He's destroying lives, and that's the way you handle it. Oh, wow. And to me, the headline, there's so many interesting aspects of this, but the headline of this entire affair is Ronan Farrow is a fraud. He's not just bad journalism.
Starting point is 00:11:58 He's a fraud. He is a concoction of the news media. They fell in love with him because of Me Too. He got, you could argue, he got lucky. They fell in love with him before. They fell in love with him before. I don't know why. The guy won all kinds of journalistic awards before.
Starting point is 00:12:18 the Me Too movement. He was the darling of the media. Nobody knew who he was. I don't know what happened, but there he was. And so they've been in love with him, and he's been their golden child for a while. But I want to move on from this part of the story.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Let me break for one minute, and I want to come back, and I want you to go over what Matt Lauer posted yesterday in this amazing story where he did the work and said, look, check my work. Here it is. Rowan Farrow did not call these people, did not verify these facts, and I've been accused of rape. And it's stunning.
Starting point is 00:13:05 We'll do that with John Ziegler coming up in just a second. I want to talk to you a little bit about honey, the online shopping. If you are online shopping in your house like we are, I want you to I want you to save money with honey And this is not something that I know of Because I just usually just go Honey will you buy this please could you buy this

It's like having your grandma with their purse online. Who needs Grandma anymore? Honey is a free app. Works in the background, as I said. it's uh it's kind of actually fun watching the price go down it's honey join honey dot com slash back go there now get the app join honey dot com slash back 10 seconds station ID all right so
Starting point is 00:14:41 let's move on from ron and go to matt lauer uh john ziegler is uh with us john uh tell me the takeaways that you have from the the article and the most powerful things that you heard from Matt himself first and that he tracked down. Well, I mean, I probably had a hundred hours of conversation with Matt Lauer over the last seven months since this book came out, and that's probably a conservative estimate. And I think the takeaways from his piece on Mediite, which is about 5,000 words and could have been 8,000 words, in fact, it was at one point close to 8,000 words. I think the takeaways are this, that Ronan Farrow had four people that were prominently mentioned in his book
Starting point is 00:15:35 that are used to corroborate the allegation of rape against Matt Lauer by a former NBC producer. Now, let's be clear. I think one of the biggest misconceptions about this case is that somehow Matt Lauer was fired back in 2017 post-Me-2 for a rape allegation. That's not true. What happened was that Brooke Nevels, a NBC producer, came to NBC, post Me Too in the middle of that moral panic, and said, I had sex with Matt Lauer in his office, in his dressing room. And they asked Matt Lauer, is that true? Matt Lauer said, yes. And in that environment, that was a violation of his contract.
Starting point is 00:16:14 They got a MeToo scalp, which they needed, NBC did, because they were under all this fire because of the Weinstein situation. and they had been accused of killing Ronan Farrow's story when he was at NBC. That's why he had to go elsewhere with it. And so they decapitate Matt Lauer, and there's all these stories that come out immediately after, because Matt, let's face it, Matt Lauer made a lot of enemies when he was, you know, the king of morning TV for a couple of decades. And one of the most bogus stories, which I'm sure you probably remember, is this whole so-posed a rape button that he had in his office.
Starting point is 00:16:46 You guys remember this story? Yes, yes. The biggest bunch of bologna, anybody who's ever been doing it in a, media office knows how ridiculous this is. Just for the record, everybody at that level had the same button. It didn't lock anybody in an office. It locked people out in the law of office. I mean, just a nonsensical baloney.
Starting point is 00:17:02 The people just latch on to because it fits a narrative that for some reason they want. Anyway, so Matt goes away. He's thinking, you know, his career is basically over, or at least for now, and that, but he's just going to go on with his life, try to repair his marriage. He doesn't understand he's made all sorts of major mistakes. And then this book comes out late last year where Brooke Nevels has now decided to tell Ronan Farrow, or in my opinion, I think Ronan Farrow has helped Brooke Nevels come to the conclusion that actually the sex between the two of them was rape, even though they had an extended affair that they had sex several times after the alleged rape and Sochi during the 2014 Olympics.
Starting point is 00:17:42 And to me, one of the most important things that I learned in all this is that Matt Lauer and Ronan Farrow met before the book came out. And when they met, and Matt Lauer had a friend who was a lawyer there with him, Matt was shocked to find out that this was now an allegation of rape, and that Rowan Farrow actually told Matt Lauer that Brook Nevels had come to the belief that their sex was an act of violence, quote unquote, in hindsight. In hindsight. Now, not just a day hindsight, five years hindsight, post me to hindsight.
Starting point is 00:18:20 Hindsight after the signing, she's going to write a book, after writing a book that might have been published by Ronan Farrow's publisher. I mean, the conflict of interest here is astonishing. And when I heard, wait a minute, hold on, because this is not my first rodeo, as you guys know. And I know how Ronan Farrow works. And my personal opinion is that Ronan Farrow effectively convinced Brooke Nevels that she had been, quote-unquote, raped, because Ronan Farrow needed a hook for his new book.
Starting point is 00:18:53 He had done the Weinstein thing, but that was old news by the time the book came out. So what's he going to do? He needs a new allegation. He needs a celebrity. He would love to go after NBC, because after all, it was NBC that kept Ronan Farrow down with his Weinstein reporting. He has a huge vendetta against NBC. And so this kicks off all the boxes. He gets a new allegation. He gets a new target. He goes after NBC, and all of a sudden, Matt Lauer gets accused of rape.
Starting point is 00:19:22 And so at that point, because Ronan Farrow is the golden child, and because the media is such a bunch of morons and don't care about the truth and just move on from a story as soon as it no longer benefits them, Lauer has almost no options. And so that's how it came to be that yesterday he finally writes the real story of this. and it's also an incredibly important to point out. He goes out of his way to not even mention Brooke Nevels in this story. This is about Ronan Farrow. This is about journalistic malpractice. This is about how is it. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:19:56 I get a little worse. All right. I know you do. I know you do. I'm going to have you take a breath for a minute. I want to give you something from page 387. This is from Ronan's book and then Matt Lauer talking about it. He writes in his book that Brooke.
Starting point is 00:20:13 made makes involving an alleged encounter in my dressing room, which was a floor above the Today Show studio. She said she came to my dressing room to get some photos. She leaned over my desk. I sexually assaulted her with my hands. Then he writes, crying, she ran to the new guy to,
Starting point is 00:20:27 to, uh, that she had started seeing a producer who was working in the control room that morning told him what had happened. He then asked, did did Pharaoh look for the new guy she started seeing? Did he, he, talked to her, talk to him? Did he verify? No, but Lauer did. And I want to go over some of that
Starting point is 00:20:52 with John here in a second. Some of the things that Pharaoh did not do that Matt Lauer did, that are stunning. This is the Glenn Beck program. All right, I believe the concept of buy it once, buy it right, is going to become popular again. That was one of the things that my folks taught me and my grandparents taught me you buy it once why why are you buying a new one uh hustler turf will show you the lawnmower that you're going to buy and it'll be the last i don't care if you're 30 years old it'll be the last lawnmower you ever buy it is unbelievably great it's a zero turn lawnmower uh they're the best in the business because they they came up with them in the 1960s they were the ones who were
Starting point is 00:21:39 making these commercially for you know people who are mowing acres and acres acres and acres and acres of land. And they're made in the center of the country. So that's where they, you know, that's where people reuse things and use them until they drop dead. So they have been doing research on this, the speed, maneuverability. It's just unbelievable. It's the greatest lawnmower out. Make sure you check the website, hustlerturf.com.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Click on the radio offer button at the right hand corner and type in my name Beck. And you'll get details on an extended warranty for free. hustlerturf.com promo code back. And you can go to blazTV.com slash Glenn. Use the promo code Glenn for $10 off. Glenn's Wednesday special is tonight. Don't miss it. John Ziegler is with us now.
Starting point is 00:22:38 He writes for Mediite and he's been tracking this amazing story with Matt Lauer. And he joins us now. John, tell me about the things that were not covered by Pharaoh in his book, he, he, he, he, he didn't seem to verify anything, uh, with, with pretty easy sources.
Starting point is 00:23:02 I mean, he, he, he never went to the boyfriend in the control room and said, hey, did this happen? And Matt Lauer did. And according to his story, uh, he had, well, while it was contentious at first, he spent hours with these people getting their, their story. And they don't match Brooke story or Ronan's story. Yeah. I think it's actually. more Ronan story, but it is technically Brooks story, the person who's accusing him
Starting point is 00:23:31 now of rape, well, at the Olympics and Sochi in 2014. Yeah, the key elements here are that Ronan Farrow's M.O., Glenn, is to tell the story of the accuser by augmenting all of their
Starting point is 00:23:46 little details, to create the impression of authenticity and deep dive journalism, like little, even tiny details, which Lauer illustrates in his piece on media yesterday are actually not even accurate and in most times made up. But where it really gets nefarious is where he will make it appear to the reader as if a story has been verified by another party, a witness, someone who was there, because that's the way Pharaoh describes it. But then when Lauer actually goes to that person because he
Starting point is 00:24:17 knows who they are, even though their names aren't used in Pharaoh's book, guess what happens? Two things are amazing. One, we learn that that's not what happened at all. That's not their version of the story. Number two, Pharaoh didn't even bother to contact them. And three, what's really the most amazing part is it in two of these cases, these are ex-boyfriends of Brooke Nevels. They have no animosity towards her. They should have immense animosity towards Matt Lauer.
Starting point is 00:24:43 He's the guy who broke cheated on them while they were dating Brooks with Matt Lauer. so they should have jealousy towards him. He can do nothing for them. He's a pariah. He's no longer the host of the Today Show. And yet, they felt so strongly about the truth that they were willing to tell him on the record, hey, look, this is not what happened. Ron and Farrow never contacted me.
Starting point is 00:25:08 My version of this story is completely different. In one case, it never even happened. It was just completely made up. And these details matter when you have an allegation that didn't happen for five years. and only happened after Ronan Farrow decides he's going to write a book. He needs a new story. There's the conflict of interest I already referenced. There's a book deal in the horizon for Brooke Nevels.
Starting point is 00:25:33 And what we find at the end is that Ronan Farrow's journalism is so bad that you cannot possibly trust the outcome of it. These are not minor details. This is not, well, he got a guilty guy. He just exaggerated the evidence against him. No, I am very confident saying that Matt Lauer never raped Brooke Nevels. Matt Lauer was a cad. Matt Lauer made huge mistakes. He paid him.
Starting point is 00:26:02 I don't think there's anyone who's ever paid more in the media for infidelity than Matt Lauer did. And you can argue he deserved that. And I've told him that. But he did not deserve to be called a rapist. I don't believe that he deserved to become, you know, this pariah in America. I actually, I mourn the fact that morning television is so horrendous in his absence. There's nobody that does a good interview anymore. Matt Lauer was a tremendous interviewer, and we've lost that in our media culture because of this.
Starting point is 00:26:33 But most importantly, Ronan Farrow is a freaking fraud who should not be trusted and certainly should not have this position of the moral arbiter of all relationships between men and women. It's insane. All right. Let me take you, let me get you back on the facts on a couple of things. Ronan writes, over the course of 2018, I'd learn of seven claims of sexual misconduct raised by women who worked with Lauer. This is an un, as Matt writes, this is Ronan at his most manipulative. Yeah. Explain this. This is astonishing. Yeah. When you read that, you go, wow, there's seven allegations against Matt Lauer. When you read it carefully, as I'm sure you did, Glenn, what you realize is, you know what, that statement, that statement could also be made about those seven same seven women worked without Roker, too.
Starting point is 00:27:28 They worked with a lot of people. Right. Seven claims of sexual misconduct raised by women who worked with Lauer. So that's a true statement, but they're not, they're not claims against Lauer. they're just seven women who worked with Lauer. Exactly. That's unbelievable. Well, but here's the proof, by the way, that that's false. Because in the aftermath of the book, Ronan Farrow, who's a conspiracy theorist, by the way.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Ronan Farrow is a conspiracy theorist. It's not just with Lauer and NBC, but throughout his entire book. I mean, and that doesn't get talked about enough. But one of the, you know this as well as anybody, Glenn, one of the keys, when you see someone who, who is on a story and they say that they don't really have it nailed, they say the worst is yet to come. We've seen this, by the way, with the virus, right? I mean, and the media, the media is still waiting for Florida to blow up any day now, like Linus and the Great Punching patch. I mean, so when they don't really, when they don't have the story nailed, it's the worst is yet to come.
Starting point is 00:28:33 And Farrow dramatically on MSNBC got NBC to release all women who ever signed a non-disclosure agreement with NBC. NBC said, look, if they feel like we're keeping them from speaking about their stories, they are now free to talk. We will not enforce NDAs. And that was portrayed as, oh, bum, bum, bum, all these women are going to start to come out, and this my story about Matt Lauer is going to be proven to be true. That was over six months ago, Glenn. The crickets are still chirping.
Starting point is 00:29:04 There's not been one, not one person who has come forward and said, yep, I signed an NDA with NBC because they were protecting Matt Lauer. Matt Lauer abused me or harassed me, whatever. And let me tell your story. And by the way, trust me, as you know well, the media would have been all over that if it had happened. But it hasn't happened because it didn't exist. Because Ron and Farrell lied,
Starting point is 00:29:25 and that's the way he lies in the book. He lies by portraying something that appears to be true using the credibility he's been given as this media superstar. And most readers aren't going to give that much scrutiny. They're not going to be that cynical because they think this guy's credible. when he's actually a total fraud. Okay, listen, this is what Mediite put as an editor's note.
Starting point is 00:29:49 After Matt Lauer submitted this piece, response to Ronan Farrow's book, Catch and Kill, Mediite editors independently fact-checked the accounts of the four witnesses and the subjects Lauer spoke with and cites in this piece, all confirmed in early February that Lauer's account of their conversation was accurate. So Lauer has a case, a lawsuit against the publisher of his book. Is he going to file? I mean, look, John, you know, publishers, at least with conservatives, publishers make us go through all kinds of circus hoops to be able to put any fact in any book.
Starting point is 00:30:34 They check them six ways to Sunday. They challenge us every step of the way. where was the fact-checking? How could this book have been possibly written when they didn't fact-check and didn't call the sources to make sure that those people were truly on record? How did this happen? Well, it happens because Ronan Farrow is perceived as untouchable and already vetted. And that's the most dangerous thing that can happen in any news story. I've seen this dozens of times where everyone thinks someone else is doing the vetting and no vetting.
Starting point is 00:31:09 gets done. But as far as a lawsuit is concerned, as you know, because Matt Lauer's obviously a very public figure, the legal burden here is incredibly high. Matt has considered this. Matt has kept his options open. He would, in theory, love to do it, but in practice, and he and I have talked about how this would go down. It's a very expensive and arduous process that could end up going in all sorts of different directions. He is not, in any way, shape, or form ruled that out. I'll tell you what else, though. I'll tell you who is going to sue Ronan Farrow over this book. Is Dylan Howard, the former editor of the National Enquirer.
Starting point is 00:31:44 He's going to sue Ronan Farrow. And he has made it very clear that everything that Farrow wrote about him in the book, some of which even relates to Lauer, is totally false. So Ronan Farrow is going to be sued over this book. I don't know whether or not Matt Lauer will be doing the suing. But I can tell you, I mean, the thing that your listeners need an understand is, Matt Lauer did not rape this woman. Ronan Farrow didn't do his job.
Starting point is 00:32:07 Ronan Farrow is not to be trusted, and the media needs to hold Ronan Farrow accountable. They won't, though, because he's essentially too big to fail. This narrative has been set, and it is the worst example of how broken the news media is that I can possibly imagine. Well, I can't, I mean, I said to you, did you watch the Apple show, The Morning Show,
Starting point is 00:32:28 when you called me seven months ago? And I said, because I think that's closer to what happened, although at the end of the first season it looks like he is kind of a bad guy and kind of a rapist but it's you know before I hit that episode I thought this is probably the Matt Lauer story to where he is he's just kind of going along and clueless and people are changing the point of view and they're not looking and they're not saying to him and it's It's destroying people, absolutely destroying good people. And look, the guy had an affair.
Starting point is 00:33:10 He admitted it. It was consensual. And maybe that's against your corporate policy, but it happens all the time. I mean, read history. And it's going to continue to happen. But we've got to stop destroying people because it happens and allowing this to go on. And I think Ronan Farrow is going to be remembered. watch the reaction to this one is going to be remembered as McCarthy from the McCarthy hearings
Starting point is 00:33:39 that McCarthy had some things right but he had a lot wrong and he was the worst messenger and a lot of people that were communists got away with it because he so discredited the hunt for real communists in our in our country that it became a joke and and helped the communist out after that because it had gone so far and so many lives had been destroyed by this guy and the committee for un-American activities. I think we're in the same thing. This is the new red hunt. It's the new Hollywood blacklist. They're not covering this with Matt Lauer because he's on a blacklist.
Starting point is 00:34:27 You're not to help him. You're not to say anything. He's dead to everybody. And that's the Hollywood blacklist. And I think Ronan Farrow is going to be remembered in the end as McCarthy, a guy who by hook or by crook did things that destroyed people. He got rich off it. He got famous. He had power.
Starting point is 00:34:51 And in the end, what did he do? He probably will end up destroying any good that has been done by the Me Too movement because nobody's going to believe anything anymore. more. Well, I hope you're right, Glenn. You have more faith sometimes than I do about how it's all going to turn out because I think everybody who's in charge here is invested in a narrative. And that's why I mentioned he's too big to fail. They can't, they can't go against Ronan Farrow. I mean, the New York Times had the goods on him and they only, it was a glancing blow because they're afraid, they're afraid of, I always say it's, but it's so important for people understand the media culture. The elite media is a
Starting point is 00:35:35 club. It's a club. This is basically high school. No one wants to be out of the popular kids club, right? You don't want to be at the popular kids' lunch table. I mean, I was the kid that never cared about that. This is a shock to you, I'm sure. But for people that are in the media, this is what's important to them. Their prestige, they're part of a club, keeping their gig, keeping their alleged credibility. And the only
Starting point is 00:36:02 the easiest way to lose that is to go up against the Ronan Farrow. Because you go outside this herd, you get run over. And it's funny you mention about Steve Carell's character in that TV show being a bit naive. I think Matt Lauer was a bit naive. He's an incredibly smart guy. But I think that when you're almost like an animal who's been in a zoo for too long, you lose your survival instincts. And he did not see what was coming for him.
Starting point is 00:36:30 All right. John, thank you so much. I appreciate it. You can follow him at John Ziegler or Ziegler at Zygman Freud on Twitter. It would be interesting to me to see if anybody in the media actually takes this on and runs with it. Yeah. And one of the things I think is important for the conservative audience, because, you know, Matt Lauer is not a character that people are like, oh, I'm really rooting for the guy. But Ronan Farrow is somebody who has been really important in this. He's been basically the face of journalism in the Me Too movement.
Starting point is 00:38:33 And he is also the guy who tried to leverage that credibility to get Brett Kavanaugh thrown off at the Supreme Court. people forget that he was the guy giving credence to some of the more out there Avanadi level people who were going, the gang rape and all the crazy fringe sort of accusations against Kavanaugh. He was the guy who really pushed that into the mainstream. And, you know, it's one thing to say, well, of course, Lauer's out there saying he didn't do these things. You know, he got in trouble for it and he's trying to defend himself. That's understandable. But when you read his account of this, he's not saying,
Starting point is 00:39:09 you know, oh, believe me. He's saying, this is who Ronan Farrow said was the source of this. I went to that source. They said he never even called me, let alone got the story right. And then Mediaite went and checked
Starting point is 00:39:25 with those sources as well and confirmed it wasn't just Lauer lying about it. So we have multiple, he's seven or eight different varieties of this showing that, forget the fact that Ronan Farrow is doing good or bad. He's just not doing journalism at all. in a lot of cases.
Starting point is 00:39:40 This is the Glenn Best program. You've heard me talk about my Toccova's boots and how much I love them and what a great company they come from. It's a small business that's doing things the right way down here in Texas. Well, given the challenges that we're going through as a country, Tukovus has asked me to speak about something else that comes to mind every time I put on my Tukovus boots, the cowboy. Now, you know, I'm not a working cowboy, but I know some of those guys.
Starting point is 00:40:09 And not being one of them, I wouldn't pretend to be. But what I see in them, I see in other people too. Because in many ways, cowboy is just a mindset, an uncompromising can-do attitude, a willingness to help even when it's really hard. And most of all, the cowboy knows that the good guys always win in the end. Starting point is 00:42:51 He's very excited. But then again, I also pet him and say, who's a vicious killer? You are? He also wags his tail. So I don't know if he understands what I'm saying. But he's, he is, just so active and running around and being the dog he should be. But that's because we started using something that we put on top of his food or mix it in. Starting point is 00:44:10 It's one of these days, man. I'm sorry. It's, uh, you know, we have all this new technology that we put in,
Starting point is 00:44:18 uh, right before, uh, COVID. And we were so afraid when I went to, when I went to work from home that none of this technology would work. And, uh,
Starting point is 00:44:28 and today is the first day that it's not, It's not working. And I'm in a paperless studio without any notes in front of me because all of the paperless notes are not showing up on my computer screen. So it's been fun. So I'm kind of bluffing my way through the show today. But I do that every day. So I should be pretty good at it. I wanted to get Jason Buttrill on with us.
Starting point is 00:44:54 Jason is our chief researcher. And he is the guy who really went neck down. deep into Ukraine. And our Ukraine special with Joe Biden, nobody's checked in on it. But there's a couple of really big developments that happened yesterday in Ukraine that, you know, everybody else in the world is covering. But why would the American press cover this? Because it involves Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Jason. Thanks, Glenn. Wow. Two huge stories that dropped within about 24 hours of each other. We'll get to more about that in a second. I think that is on purpose. And not necessarily a good thing, but again, we'll get into that for a second. But the first story that dropped was that the prosecutor general that Biden had fired and the quid pro Joe was Victor Schokin.
Starting point is 00:45:47 And he's been actor just after justice for the longest time on this in February. He went to the court and said, hey, I was mistreated by Joe Biden. they masked, to use a term that's out in the public now, Joe Biden's name and official court documents in Ukraine. Now, Ukrainian media has been all over this. We're reporting on it nonstop. Nobody over here has. But the judge in February of this year said that, yes, Joe Biden, it looks like he did a criminal act when he did the quid pro Joe. That was pretty much just swept under the rug. No one's heard about it. But the prosecutor general now, the current one, was supposed to investigate that. that and continue this. It's actual criminal investigation against Joe Biden in Ukraine. Well, the process is he did. Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on. Hang on. This is a really,
Starting point is 00:46:36 really big deal. I want to make sure that you understand what he, what he just said, it's a criminal investigation by their equivalent of our attorney general. So it's our, it's our bar. And it is all revolving around Joe Biden saying, hey, I told them, you know, that they got to, they want the money. They got to fire this guy before the, before I get on the airplane. And he said, Obama knew all about it. And we've been telling you, no, he wasn't, he wasn't a bad attorney general, if you will. He was a good guy. He was just on to Burisma and the goings on of the Obama administration.
Starting point is 00:47:22 and so they swept him out, but no charges were ever filed. No one ever had anything to accuse him of except for Joe Biden and apparently Barack Obama. Everyone in Ukraine saw this as we on our research staff saw it as a political move to protect Joe Biden, the United States, you know, the corrupt people from the United States, and get rid of this guy and disqual. discredit him. Well, he wants his name back. And all of these things that have been hidden are now coming out. So Jason, what happened the latest? So now it came out that these official court documents finally did come out. They're trying to pressure the court, the prosecutor general saying,
Starting point is 00:48:16 hey, continue this. The judge ruled in the favor that you should investigate him. Continue that on. So that's the court documents that just got released. Now, literally, almost simultaneously, the audio tapes. Now, this is amazing, Glenn. Audio tapes between first is in 2015, audio tapes between John Kerry, phone conversation between him and the current Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko. That leaked somehow. Now, that's an official encrypted call either from the White House, the State Department, Air Force One, something like that. It's hard to tell.
Starting point is 00:48:50 But that phone call leaked. And it was John Kerry basically saying, hey, Joe Biden's about to come down. He wants this prosecutor general shoken fired. Now, there's a sling of other, a slew of other phone conversations. There's about 10 of them or so all in all. But in those conversations, it's Joe Biden specifically saying it sounds exactly like it's him. They haven't been verified, but it does sound authentic to me of him saying, I want this prosecutor general fired. And Petro Poroshenko eventually saying, I'm doing this for you. I got. fired. Now, a lot of the people that are reporting on this, the Washington Post is reported on this, they're basically calling it a big nothing burger. They're leaving out a very, very important part of the phone call. Imagine that. It's amazing when you read it. They're like, hey, this is a nothing burger. But when you actually read through it and I've read all the transcripts, I've listened to the tape, there's one very specific part where, and this is a quote, Poroshenko says, despite the fact that we didn't have any corruption charges on him, we don't have any information about him doing something wrong. I asked him to resign. Now, none of the Western media is pointing that out when they're calling this a nothing burger. This is Patrick Poroshenko saying, look, he didn't do anything wrong. So he said that on the phone. He said that on the phone to John Kerry. He said that to Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:50:03 He said this to Joe Biden because Joe Biden was like, hey, did you get that guy fired? And he's like, yes, I did. He did nothing wrong. Do we have that on tape or is that only a transcript? We have that on tape. You can listen to Poroshenko. Say that specifically to Biden. Okay.
Starting point is 00:50:20 I want you to do me. a favor. We got to cut that in the control room. I'm sorry, but I mean, I'm flying by the seat of my pants. I've been for two hours. I'd be just trying to get my show prep back up. So could somebody in the control room cut that audio? Jason, make sure the control room has it. Cut those pieces of audio and then we'll have you come back maybe next hour just for a few minutes to play that audio because that is stunning. That's stunning. Now, one more thing. the in the redacted
Starting point is 00:50:50 email to herself from Susan Rice was released what was it yesterday and it shows now that that President Obama knew that they were and Biden was there that they were targeting Flynn specifically
Starting point is 00:51:09 can you tell me the latest on that yeah so it's really interesting this email is getting redacted in bits and pieces, the latest redaction shows that they were specifically talking about what information they were supposed to, they were going to transmit over to the Trump transition.
Starting point is 00:51:26 One was very specifically, they were like, we don't know if we can give this information over because it has to do with the Russians. And Flynn, very specifically, was the reasoning for that because of his calls with the Russian
Starting point is 00:51:42 ambassador. Comey was the what they knew. actually said. Right. But they knew at the time the FBI had confirmed there was no relationship with the Russians, right? Amir hours before they had this meeting, the FBI closed the investigation. This is the very next day.
Starting point is 00:52:02 So they had just got finished saying, look, he's not even a part of this investigation anymore. Then all of a sudden you have Comey saying, hey, I don't know. Maybe, you know, we shouldn't because of this Flynn thing. Flynn was their way to continue to spy into the Trump campaign. There's absolutely no question after all this.
Starting point is 00:52:19 He was their way. They went after him. And oh my gosh, what we are preparing right now is absolutely insane. If you thought that it was weird that Italian diplomats over in Italy
Starting point is 00:52:30 were requesting unmasking? Oh, I told you. Oh, Glenn. Oh, I knew you would, man. We talked about this. Yeah, baby. When Laura Logan and I were
Starting point is 00:52:41 talking a week ago and we saw the Italian ambassador. Jason was there and we kind of just looked at each other off the set and I was like, what is that all about? And he's like, I am going to find out. Really? Can you give me any hint on this? This story belongs in Hollywood and it involves, gosh, how do I do this without exploring everything? It involves all Western intelligence agencies all gathering at one spot in Italy. Five eyes?
Starting point is 00:53:19 Bigger than? Not specifically. Huh? Okay. Okay. All right. Go ahead. But specifically, but very specifically German, British, Italian, multiple different spy
Starting point is 00:53:33 agencies. They all gather in Italy for a very specific purpose. And they all been working together, uh, including allegedly targeting members of the Trump campaign. This is insane. It's an absolutely insane. You know what this is? Did you see, uh, did you see, uh, James Bond, uh, what is the, what is the one with the, with the octopus, uh, you know, not octopusy, but the, the new James Bond where there is, Spector, Spector. It's almost as if specter is real and they are looking for that you know in one of the james bond movies where they are saying you know we just if we combine everything we'll be able to control all information etc etc it's
Starting point is 00:54:22 almost like that was happening here that the the other western uh allies we're working together with the trump i'm sorry with the uh obama administration to to foster this deep state You mentioned in your last show that John Brennan was getting, you know, not kind of off the record, but out of official protocols and channels, he was getting this information from British, their version of the NSA, the GCHQ. That was out of the ordinary. Why was he doing that? Well, the CIA and John Brennan can't target American citizens. He can't do that. But Western allies, their intelligence agencies don't operate under those rules.
Starting point is 00:55:06 They can target U.S. citizens. This is so bad. This is so bad. This is so bad. Okay, good. All right, Jason. Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:55:15 Get that audio and then come back next hour. We'll just squeeze you in someplace next hour. All right. Let me tell you about our sponsor. I'm going to come back in one minute back to the show. First, let me tell you about American financing. If you haven't called American financing right now, you really need to. Americanfinancing.

That's a lot of money, especially over the lifetime of your loan, but could mean a lot of money to you just every single month, a whole, almost a whole point? Are you kidding me? If you take your high interest credit card debt

What kind of difference in your life would this make. Call them. Ten minutes. No, no hassle, no pressure, nothing. Just call them at 800, 906 2440, or go to Americanfinancing.net. Do it now, Americanfinancing.compancing. American financing, NMLS, 182334, www. www. NMLS Consumer Access.org. 10 seconds, station ID. Do you need to reset so I'm in sync? All right, welcome to the, welcome to program. There's a couple of things that I want to hit. Have you seen, Stu, the hydroxychloroquine story, the latest version of this story that Donald Trump has been taking. And now,
Starting point is 00:57:34 what's his name? Cuomo has come out and he did a big deal on television about how this is irresponsible and it's like drinking chlorox bleach. I think Biden said that. No, it's not like drinking chlorox bleach. This is ridiculous. But the Cuomo thing I absolutely love because he's on saying there's no scientific proof. It's not being used by doctors, blah, blah, blah. And yet, because of his wife's crazy-ass doctor blog that she runs, you remember, can you explain this doctor a little bit? Yeah, Dr. Moonlove or?
Starting point is 00:58:09 Yeah, it's pretty much her name. So, yeah, Chris Cuomo's wife runs a lifestyle magazine slash website. And this makes that makes. that makes goop look sane. Yeah, it's very goop-like, if you know, Gwyneth Paltrow's ridiculous site. It's that type of stuff.
Starting point is 00:58:28 It's, you know, really fringy sort of new age treatments and things that are not based in, you know, science at all. I mean, and she embraces all of them. Like for, I mean, you know, we joke about the bleach thing. She actually advocated bathing in bleach to help cure COVID-19. Now, she gives the qualifier
Starting point is 00:58:49 of only a certain amount in a large bathtub and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But she was doing the exact things. Chris Cuomo is on TV criticizing. And you might say, well, look, you know, and I know you say this about Tony all the time. You know, my wife's completely nuts and you can't trust anything that she says. And a lot of people might say that about their wives. Hold it. But I mean, like, you can disagree with your wife, right?
Starting point is 00:59:11 I'm, of course, kidding about Tonya, but you can say that about your wife. She totally sees the world differently than me, right? like that would be a defensible position, except for the fact that this doctor, who is well known as a, you know, sort of a holistic healer and has started all sorts of, she has all sorts of wild views about,
Starting point is 00:59:34 you know, changing the aura and your energy to cure your illness and all these things. Correct. That is the doctor that not only treated Chris Cuomo's wife for COVID-19, but also treated Chris Cuomo for 19, for COVID-19. all sorts of things that are way beyond anything that Donald Trump has talked about or advocated for when it comes to a treatment. Chris Poe was actually treated that way and they're described on the site as treatments,
Starting point is 01:00:03 which is I don't even know if that's legal to give out that type of advice. All right. So he was taking quinine. And if you remember our story about the origins of gin and tonic, Yeah. Quinine was the tonic, the tonic for malaria. And it was, it's made from a bark, I think, and it fights malaria. It's as oldest time, all right?
Starting point is 01:00:30 The 1700s. Well, she was making quinine from the bark, because she's a naturalist. But hydroxychloroquine is quinine, except it's made in a laboratory instead of with bark. Mm-hmm. Okay. So while he's on TV saying, this is ridiculous. It has no property. There's no research that shows us an help.
Starting point is 01:00:54 He was taking the natural, the bark quinine, where the president was just better living through pharmaceuticals. It's the exact chemical compound just made with pharmaceuticals. instead of cutting down a tree, Chris, why would you cut down a tree? Strip it of its bark. Oh my gosh. It's crazy. These people have gone absolutely nuts and no one is willing to hold anyone accountable. It's hard to imagine anyone in the media being more disingenuous than Chris Cuomo has been during this time.
Starting point is 01:01:33 I mean, he's out there criticizing other people for going outside while he's breaking a protocol without a mask while having COVID. while having COVID-19. He's interacting with people outside of quarantine. He's faking his return from quarantine on a news network that will not criticize him for doing so. And this is really, I mean, when you look at her blog and you actually read it, she describes everything they did to treat themselves with this doctor who does not appear to be licensed, by the way, in the state of New York. So that's a whole other element of this.
Starting point is 01:02:07 because in fact, I think it's only 16 states actually license, quote, unquote, doctors like her. And so they don't, they don't even, it's not even available license in the state that they were being treated in. But if you look at all of these descriptions, you know, she's talking about how the moon is the reason she's having temperature spikes because there's a full moon. I mean, we're talking like way, way out there. Of course no. Yeah. Come on. Everybody knows about the moon.
Starting point is 01:02:35 The moon, the gravitational pull, pulls the temperature from the cold. core of your body closer to the skin. Sure. That's the way it works, obviously. You know, again, you and I, you can believe all this stuff all you want. You can treat yourself with bark all you need to. That's fine. But you can't come out and be critical of the president for having something that has far more scientific backing than anything they did for COVID-19. And not only is Chris Cuomo not even, should be critical of Trump. He doesn't even disclose all this stuff is happening. Like he doesn't even say, look, my wife's nuts and we did a lot of crazy stuff. I'm fine with that. But this is, he should be honest. Nothing like that. He just denies it.
Starting point is 01:03:15 Of course, that's amazing. Because no one holds him accountable. This is the Glenn Beck program. All right. I want to talk to you a little bit about real estate agents I trust. The world has been a little mad maxish, if you will. I mean, you know, well, I was going to say nobody is, you know, on top of a, you know, some sort of an armored truck, you know, transporting gasoline, but I might be doing that on my road trip here on my vacation. So I'm not going to say, anyway, the future, what it holds, I have no idea. Fed came out yesterday, so they think that the actual unemployment rate now is just over 30% in America. Hopefully, as we open up, things will start back up.
Starting point is 01:04:01 I'm not so sure. but let's get through it together. One thing that is opening up now is real estate. It looks like there is a real estate boom going on right now where houses are starting to sell. Construction was way down. They stopped, so houses are hot right now. If you're looking to sell your home or buy a new one, you need the best real estate agent. You can find it's real estate agents.
Starting point is 01:04:25 I trust.com. That's real estate agents. I trust.com. Go there now. Sell your house now if you have. have to or buy the new house real estate agents i trust dot com make sure to check out stew does america it's every night at 8 p.m. Eastern on blaze tv or go to youtube and search for stew i'll be the first one there this is the glenbeck program we're so glad that you're here uh let me talk to you a little
Starting point is 01:04:59 bit about uh some of the things that are going on around the country right now first of all i i have to just bring you up to speed i'm we're going to try to get uh Craig telson on with us i don't know if he will but i have to apologize to him right up front. Craig T. Nelson, you know him, Stu. He was the actor in coach.
Starting point is 01:05:19 For sure, but many, many things over the years. Had a great career. Great. I don't know if you remember this. He was on with us one time and he was, I don't remember what he was even on for.
Starting point is 01:05:33 We'll have to look for it. But he was on this show one time. One time. There's a story that, came out that from Hollywood where they're admitting it and they have no problem with it, that he was up for the role that the Married with Children guy has in modern family. I mean, that's a huge role. Huge role.
Starting point is 01:06:00 Huge role. It was between him and the guy from married with children. And he was in the catbird seat. Now, they said in this deal, he was. asking too much money and they had heard that he was a prima donna that he was hard to work with is what they said but then the article that goes on to say but then he was on the glenbeck radio program and the producers heard him and this scared them uh they didn't want uh that kind of temperament on the on the staff because he was questioning the government and they just
Starting point is 01:06:41 thought that was a little too far. And so because of his appearance on this program, he lost that role on Modern Family. Is that true? I'm sorry, man. That's incredible. Why would you publish that if it wasn't? It was from a Hollywood rag. It wasn't from a conservative. They're proud of it. They're fine. Well, you know, and the reason they're fine is because it sends a message to anyone else who have, who might be. And I don't even know that his, I mean, I'm looking at, uh, some of the comments. And, you know, they, he's talking about not like having huge government giveaways, but he's not like, you know, coming out as a hardcore conservative, I don't think. I mean, he may be. But this is why this is intimidation for other people who might come out and
Starting point is 01:07:27 admit that they have a view that that might not align with Hollywood, right? You lose gig. I mean, that is, I mean, what is, what is the cost of, of that decision to him? Multiple millions of dollars. I mean, Ed O'Neill has, you know, he's won awards for that show. I mean, you know, he's very good on it. No, it's a maker. It's a maker break role. Yeah, it's a career defining role. I mean, like, we kept saying the married with children guy.
Starting point is 01:07:51 I mean, he's probably much better known as the modern family guy. Mm-hmm. And he loses that role because he came on our show one time. It looks like it was on CNN, too, the headline news show. Well, let's get, let's, let's see if we get Craig T. Nelson on. He probably will go into some sort of a seizure when we, when they say, Glenn Beck wants to know if you want to come on, but let's at least call him. Let's run the rest of your career too.
Starting point is 01:08:17 Just to apologize. Yeah, let's just to apologize for that. If he won't come on, Craig T. Nelson. I'm sorry, dude. They had no idea that's wrong that you would lose a job just because you're on a radio show or a TV show. I mean, that's crazy talk. Absolute crazy talk. All right.
Starting point is 01:08:39 Let me switch gears. What they just did with Craig T. Nelson was exactly what Stu said. Scare people into silence. They want to make examples of people. This is Solilinsky 101. Make examples of people. Well, the states are doing this all over the country right now. And I want to talk to Lindsay Graham.
Starting point is 01:09:01 She is another salon owner who is now being fined $14,000 for reopening the Despite her stay-at-home orders, she has opened her salon. Welcome to the program, Lindsay Graham. How are you? I'm great. Thank you for having me this morning. All right. So you're in Salem, Oregon, and the question has got to be asked, why, Lindsay, why are you in Oregon?
Starting point is 01:09:31 Why are you in Oregon? Yeah, I'm starting to question that myself. It's such a beautiful state, and it's just gone crazy. All right. So they issued you a citation from OSHA because they illegally deemed your independent contractors, the stylist in the salon, as your employees. Tell me what happened. Tell me what happened. Well, the day before I even opened my salon, which was May 4th, I was in their cleaning and I received a visit from OSHA. and he said it was a friendly visit to let me know what would happen if I choose to move forward opening my doors the next day.
Starting point is 01:10:13 What he told me was that he would get a warrant to come in and conduct an investigation and he would cite me $1,000 for violating the mandate. So basically operating a hazardous workplace. And if I didn't comply and shut my doors, he would issue me a $70,000 citation. So I opened my doors regardless, and OSHA did. indeed get a warrant and they conducted investigation, which I cooperated with. I interviewed with them. I provided documents. And in the end, despite all of my truthful answers about my independent contractors, he decided at the end of the week that those independent contractors were employees
Starting point is 01:10:52 and therefore I was operating a hazardous workplace for my employees and he cited me $14,000 and gave me three days to close my doors. But it's pretty easy to, it's, it's, It's pretty easy to know if these are contractors or employees. I mean, your records would show that. Yes, there's a very, very definite and clear difference. And like I said, I was very truthful because I knew that they were independent contractors and there was no way they could be deemed employees. So it'll be interesting in court to see how they decided they were employees.
Starting point is 01:11:29 They're citing examples like if I have a dress code or if I allow them to use the same scheduling system, then they become employees, which is ridiculous to insiduate. Yeah, I can't have rules in my salon for my independent contractors. And if I do, that the state can decide that they're employees, which changes my entire business structure. So this is alarming for salons around the, around the United States that they're, that they're going to try to do this. So, Lindsay, why are they doing this to you? Do you think? What's happening? I'm positive that they're using every possible government organization to try to bully and intimidate me into shutting my doors. They have used OSHA, health licensing office, CPS, Child Protective Services, if you can believe it.
Starting point is 01:12:21 They've used the city of Salem to threaten me. How? How? How? Wait, wait, wait, wait. How were they using CPS? So I opened my doors to my salon on May 5th and on May 5th. And on May 8th, Child Protective Services showed up at my home when I was at work to question my home about a, quote, claim that my household was endangering my children.
Starting point is 01:12:46 Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Lindsay, how are you so calm about this? I'm not. I'm livid, and I've already cried and bald and screamed. And I have no words for the tactics that the government's using against me, but I've had time to kind of. to adjust my thinking and come up with a plan of attack
Starting point is 01:13:06 or defense even, if you will. I'm not calm, but I have a really great team of attorneys, and we are going to tackle this head on because it's very, very clear that there is bullying and intimidation by the government directed at me and my family and my business.
Starting point is 01:13:23 I mean, you come after my business, that's one thing. You come after my family. Oh my gosh, I would lose my mind. I'd lose my mind. mind. So this is, you think this is being coordinated from the governor's office? I do, yes. I really do. And there's been some things that have come to light that can back that theory up very prominently. And so we are confident that there is, there are higher
Starting point is 01:13:51 ups that are conducting these, pulling these strings directed at me. Can you, can you tell us any of those things that have come up? I don't believe I can. They, just, they, my attorney found them yesterday, and, um, but I think eventually they will come to light and they'll come to light in court, um, but we are, we are shocked at some of the things that we're finding out that have been done. So, uh, I, I would encourage their education. It's going to be interesting. Why did you open up in the first place? Why don't you just go along to get along? Why don't you just do that? I, I would have loved to have done that, but I also would have love to have kept my home and kept my businesses and kept, you know, the life that I've worked
Starting point is 01:14:36 15 years for. My husband and I own six businesses, and we actually, I actually took four weeks off for maternity leave before the quarantine. And so we had not budgeted for a government shutdown. No one would, no one has budgeted for a government shutdown. And at the four week mark, I said, listen, we're going to lose these businesses. We're going to, we're choosing to pay our mortgage instead of the leases on these, the government hasn't come through with their loans and their grants and their unemployment money that we don't want anyway. We want to, we want to work and we want to run our businesses, the good old-fashioned American way, we're hard workers. And at four weeks, I said, we can't survive this if I don't go back to work. And we make most of our income
Starting point is 01:15:20 for me being a hairstylist and taking clients and having my salon open. And honestly, I wanted my my stylists that work there to be able to come in and run their business and do their clients. So I said, ladies, I'm doing this. And if you want to join me, let's make a living because, you know, we're all going to lose everything we've worked for if we don't. And so that was the decision I made. And I actually didn't mean for it to go public. I shared a story about it in a Facebook group. And I didn't realize it was a public group and it started getting shared. So I went, Uh-oh, well, this is making the news now, so I guess I have to do it. Right.
Starting point is 01:16:00 And is that, do you think, is that, is the town supportive of you at all? I'm really disappointed in Oregonians. They are less supportive of me than the entire nation is. When this went local, I had to endure quite a bit of verbal and keyboard abuse. You got to get out of there. You got to get out of there. Sincerely, you got to come to Texas. Our governor, they put a, so they put a, in Texas, in Dallas, they put a salon owner in jail,
Starting point is 01:16:31 and our governor went nuts, and she's out of jail, and we're not arresting anybody anymore. I mean, that's what you need. This, this governor is, I mean, you're all states out of control. Right. All we're asking for is a little support. I don't understand how that's a controversial or political issue to be able to earn your living. So I'm very confused why this is such an uproar that I needed to work and provide for my family. It's very interesting to watch.
Starting point is 01:17:00 But I'm very thankful the nation has rallied behind me. I'm getting positive, encouraging messages and prayers from all over America. And I am brought to tears most days from the support. So very thankful for that. That's great. Lindsay, thank you so much for talking to us. We're going to follow your story. Please stay in touch with us.
Starting point is 01:17:21 Our producers will stay in touch. with you, but we want to know what's going on. And if there's any way we can help you, we will absolutely stand with you. So thank you so much, Lindsay. Thank you so much. God bless. You bet.
Starting point is 01:17:35 Tonight, this is another Rosa Parks. And there's going to be a lot of people on the left. How dare you? What was Rosa Parks? What was she doing? She just wanted to ride a bus. No big deal. Just ride a bus.
Starting point is 01:17:47 I just, look, the seats are, the seats are empty here. If somebody who's white comes in and they want to sit down, I'll even get up. But there's nobody on the bus. I'll sit here. That wasn't good enough. That's so simple. It's the same thing here. This is somebody saying, look, I've got to put food on my table.
Starting point is 01:18:10 I've got to put food on my table. And I'll do all of your little masks things and everything else. I'll do all that. But I'm going to go back to work because I'm going to lose everything I have. and so are all the people that work around me and work with me. So I want to do that. That's a right. That is a right.
Starting point is 01:18:29 You have a right to feed yourself. You have a right to be able to pursue your happiness. Yeah, I mean, obviously the intent of the underlying policy is a lot different. But when you talk about the base need here, this is the need to, the most basic need you can have. I need to be able to feed my family. It's what made up shelter. America. People came here because.
Starting point is 01:18:51 they could be free to chart their own course. Anything that stands in the way of doing that is absolutely beyond reason when you're talking about something like the coronavirus. Flatten the curve. We flatten the curve. Open the country back up. And you know, it's amazing. If this was Donald Trump doing this, the woman, if she was having feds come in and
Starting point is 01:19:20 sicked on her. of Donald Trump, the press would be all over it. But because it's an Oregon governor and because it's a Democrat, oh, no, no, everything is fine. This is obscene. It's a new civil rights movement. And I want you to watch tonight. We're going to have a whole, a whole hour of these kind of people who are standing up because something's happening in America. It's a new civil rights movement.
Starting point is 01:19:44 And we'll show it to you tonight at 9 o'clock only on Blaze TV. Please join us and become a member. All right. the coronavirus pandemic has sparked massive increase in the number of cybercrime complaints, according to the FBI. Agency's internal crime complaint center was receiving about 1,000 complaints a day before the pandemic. Now it gets about 4,000 complaints. Now, these are coronavirus-related complaints where people are trying to scam,
Starting point is 01:20:13 promising you a government check or a fraudulent COVID charity or, you know, hey, we can sell you these masks, whatever it is. How safe is it out there? I mean, it's got to get out of the house because it's safer outside the house that it is online, quite honestly. It's important to understand how cybercrime works and how identity theft is affecting all of our lives. No one can prevent all identity theft or monitor all transactions at all businesses. But LifeLock is the group that actually sees the threats that you might miss on your own. and if you have a problem, they work to clean it all up.
Starting point is 01:20:50 Save up to 25% off your first year by using the promo code Beck. That's promo code Beck at lifelock.com, liflock.com, promo code Beck, or 1,800, lifelock. 1,800, lifelock, or lifelock.com promo code Beck, save 25%. And then they run over another bag, and they're like, stop we've got to pick this up so they did they threw it in the back again they thought it was
Starting point is 01:21:30 trash uh no it was uh it was a million dollars in bags just laying there by the side of the road good deed i'll give you the full story coming up next hour thank you very much uh hilary glad you're here welcome uh i i want to talk to you a little bit about uh rough greens our spotlight sponsor if this is what i put on my dog's food every day and he loves it he has gained weight, but not in a fat way. I mean, he was eating so much food from where he used to be. And we couldn't get him to be at the right weight. He was always under by at least 10 pounds.
Starting point is 01:22:19 And the vet would always be, you got to get him to eat. We know. We started putting rough greens on top, which is all the vitamins and minerals and probiotics, all of the things that they need for their digestive system that's live, that you can't get out of the regular dog food. We get a scoop of that and we put it on. It's called rough greens. We mix it into his food.
Starting point is 01:22:38 He loves it. Now he's gained those 15 pounds, but it's not fat. It's active. It's muscle. He is a different dog. You want your dog to thrive. You want your dog to be at its best health. Go to roughgreens.com slash Beck right now.
Starting point is 01:22:54 It's roughgreens.com slash Beck. Or call 833 Glenn 33. 833 Glenn 33. It's roughgreens.com. All right, Patriots. Great show for you. Last hour. Coming up next.
Starting point is 01:23:32 Entertainment and Enlightenment. The Glenn Beck. Enough is enough. I am so tired of hearing from these states about how bad we are and how we're not giving them enough money and how they got to keep the economy closed. You want more money? Open your economy. Open your economy. California, the governor has now just said, we need more money. And if we don't get this federal help, I want to quote,
Starting point is 01:24:06 I hope Americans will consider this. The next time they want to salute and celebrate our heroes, our first responders, our police officers and firefighters, consider the fact that they're going to be the first ones who will be laid off by the cities and counties of California. You know, when you stop giving money to illegal aliens, maybe I'll listen a little bit, but probably not. You want to let your firefighters go and your police officers go?
Starting point is 01:24:34 Good luck to you. you're doing a great job in letting all the criminals out. I'm not paying a dime for you, California. You've been insane since about 1976. I, for one, am done with you. You did to me. Now, all of these restrictive rules, I'm telling you, yesterday, a new bill of rights came out from Donald Trump in an executive order,
Starting point is 01:25:00 which I want to go over. But there is something that is happening with rights, A new civil rights movement is happening. People are starting to pay attention to the Constitution and how big and oppressive our government has become. And not just our federal government, but our local and state government in many cases. There's a new group out that's trying to help those people organize. Stephen Moore is part of it.
Starting point is 01:25:27 We're going to talk to him in one minute. This is the Glenn Beck program. Oh, nice to then. All right. So we have Stephen Moore coming up in a second. First, let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour. It's rec tech grills. Man, I have to tell you, this rec tech grill is the best.
Starting point is 01:25:49 It's smart grill technology, which means I can, you know, lay out the meat that I want to cook, fire up the grill, and then just put it in. And the grill will tell me when it's done. It tells me everything I need to know. I can set the temperature, you know, go away. It'll alert me with the app on my phone. I mean, it's just great. It's great. I haven't burned a single thing now that I have a Rectek grill.
Starting point is 01:26:14 Not one. That's unusual for me. Usually it's like, dad, da, steaks are on fire. Oh, good. Well, I like them extra black. Racist. Built by grillers for grillers. It's Rectecgrills.com slash Beck.
Starting point is 01:26:29 You get your chance to win the same grill that I have with Rectex's father's contest. All you have to do is go to rectechgrills.com slash back and register to win. That's with an S. Rectechgrills.com slash Beck. Make sure you go there and register. And you might want to do that in front of the family. Like, oh, you know, I'd like to win this for Father's Day. You know, they've got all kinds of them you could look at and, you know, probably not going to win, but you could probably go there. You're so. RecTechgrills.com with an S. Rectechgrills.com slash Beck. Go there now. Tonight, 9 p.m. Eastern on Glenn TV.
Starting point is 01:27:04 Coronavirus tyrants have tried to crush our freedoms, but some Americans are fighting back. A lot of people are calling to say, how do we help you? I say, open your business. Every officer stood up for what they believed. It'd be a non-issue. I'd close my shop the day they come in here with handcuffs or a Jesus comes, one or the other. Is this the birth of a new civil rights movement? Glenn takes back common sense in America.
Starting point is 01:27:27 Tonight, 9 p.m. Eastern at blaishtiv.com slash Glenn. Welcome to the program. Glad you're here. Stephen Moore is joining us. He's a fellow of the Heritage Foundation, senior economic contributor with Freedom Works. And he is part of a new coalition. By the way, he still is advising the Trump administration on economics. And Trump wanted him to be our Fed chair. Would have loved that. But he's also part of a coalition now called Save Our Country. And Stephen is here to talk about what's happening in the country and what and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and how this organization can help. Stephen, how are you? Hi, Glenn. Good to be with you, by the way. You are spot on correct. You know, this bill to keep providing money to the states and cities.
Starting point is 01:28:20 This is all this is. You were so right about this. It's just enabling. We're enabling these states and cities to stay closed. The worst thing we could do right now is to encourage them to do that. And I want to say one other thing because I feel so passionately about it. You are so correct about Governor Newsom in California. What he said the other day was this is like hostage taking, right?
Starting point is 01:28:42 We're going to shut down the health system. We're going to shut down police and fire. We're not going to do anything about the pensions. We're not going to do anything about the aid to the illegal immigrants. We're not going to do anything about, you know, all of the other waste in the California budget. We're going to cut the things that the people depend on most. And Washington, Donald Trump never fall for that kind of hostage taking. and the people in California should be outraged by that kind of a policy.
Starting point is 01:29:10 So, Stephen, there are people all over the country. I just talk to another woman. Her name is Lindsay Graham, not related. She's up in Oregon. She had OSHA, the business licensing, the health department, and the Department of Child Protection Services show up at her house because she opened her salon. this is way out of control I heard about this story
Starting point is 01:29:39 and it's crazy it is you know it's Orwellian it's Orwellian I feel like sometimes we're living in the old Soviet Union right now and the left
Starting point is 01:29:50 I do too I do too whatever happened to liberals who used to care about the civil liberties of people and constitutional rights of people and I am so outraged by that as well we have to take our country back
Starting point is 01:30:03 we have to allow people to make their own decisions, not have politicians make decisions for them. Incidentally, I just finished the study, Glenn, that shows that if we were to pass anything close to the new Pelosi $3 trillion bill, which also is an abomination for her to use a health emergency to opportunistically to pass in all this stuff that has nothing to do with health, the National Endowment for the Arts and Environmental Justice grants and bailouts of the Illinois pension. But we're finding that if they were to pass anything like that bill,
Starting point is 01:30:34 the federal, United States government today would be larger than the entire private sector of America. Every business, every worker output. Oh my gosh. That's 52% of GDP. Even socialist countries don't have governments that big. We have got to stop the spending. The idea that another spending bill is going to help the economy. No, Glenn, that spending bills that Congress is passing are hurting the economy, not helping them,
Starting point is 01:31:01 especially when you're paying people in 31 states, more money not to work than to get a job. Oh, it's ridiculous. So, Stephen, first of all, we said we were going to flatten the curve, and we're all for that. Let's not stress out our hospitals, et cetera, et cetera. We're way past that now. And it's very clear to at least half the country that this is benefiting those who want big government and oppressive sort of regulation. Now, the president went the other yesterday. Tell me about his Bill of Rights. Well, this was great. He basically passed a sweeping deregulation plan that is going to help the economy a lot. And this is, in addition to the fact that he also wants to, the one thing I feel,
Starting point is 01:31:51 and I've talked to the president about this, he's all fully on board this. You know, our mutual fund out Lapper loves this idea, Steve Forbes loves the idea, of suspending the payroll tax for the rest of the year, this would actually help every single business. Every single small business in America would get a 7.5% reduction in their payroll cost. You know that, you know, yourself. You're a small, a medium-sized businessman, yourself. Be huge. You hire a, sorry?
Starting point is 01:32:20 Yeah, the investment that you could make if you were doing well or the money you could save if you were on the line would be enormous. It's the best thing. It's the only thing, really, that I think the government should have done in the first place. I agree. By the way, this would put seven and a half, even for a minimum wage worker, I thought Nancy Pelosi cared so much about low-income workers. They would have immediately, immediately, starting May 15th, a seven and a half percent increase in their pay. Every worker would have seven and a half percent rise.
Starting point is 01:32:50 That would encourage work. It would allow them to put that money right on Main Street. And the thing we've got to get all your listeners, all the people around the country saying is, don't give the money to the politicians. Paul Ossie wants to go with the mayors and governor. Give it right to the people. Give it right for the businesses. They're the ones who produce.
Starting point is 01:33:05 Right. So, Stephen, the regulatory bill of rights that he put in an executive order yesterday, what is this going to do exactly? It's going to get, it's going to require these agencies to review all of their regulations and if they don't pass muster to suspend them. You know, Trump rebuilt the economy. People forget just two months ago. We had the best economy in 30 years. And how did that happen? Well, do you know, I have a small part and helping get that tax bill pass, which was a phenomenal success. And then we cut the regulations. We cut the red tape. We let businesses do their thing. And my God, it's amazing. Two months ago, we had six and a half million surplus jobs in this country. Now we have 35 million people unemployed. I got to say this, God, I think that history books. are going to look back at what we've done in the last three months, and it's going to be nearly unanimous.
Starting point is 01:34:02 It was one of the greatest mistakes our nation has ever made. Oh, I agree 110%. And I want to switch gears here with you. I'm going to take a quick break and then come back, but I want to switch gears on this. Not only is it the greatest mistake, it is also the greatest opportunity. Now, the left is using this for an opportunity to reshape the world and into a more draconian sort of rule all around the world.
Starting point is 01:34:30 But I think if we are not pushing back with our own agenda, and that is more America, not less, more to the people, not less, give people back their rights to be free and to create, it could be also the biggest mistake and the biggest opportunity, because I think we could if we're smart, and then Donald Trump becomes the steamroller that I know he can be, this thing could just take right back off again. But it's going to take real opening of some of these regulations and taxes to spur it on.
Starting point is 01:35:12 So let me switch from that now to there is also going to be remembered a group of people that I think are civil rights leaders. This is a new civil rights movement. And I've been talking about it for a while. It's come in a different package, but this is it. This is it. And I want to talk to you about what you're doing and what this group is, this SOS group, with Stephen Moore in one minute. Stand by. American financing NMLS-182334.
Starting point is 01:35:41 www. nmLS Consumer Access.org. So the reason why Stephen Moore is talking about with the president about, you know, getting the payroll tax rescinded until the end of the year, the reason why that is. so great is because it does put money back into your hands. That's why I've been talking to you about American financing. If you own a home and you're paying over 4%, you're paying way too much, and it's going to put money back into your hands. What can you do with that money? You need to find ways to save money. This is the easiest way. Even if you took out a mortgage at the beginning of the year, you're going to be able to save hundreds of dollars a month just today, even if you took it out six months ago, because the interest rates have come down so far. I want you to
Starting point is 01:36:24 call Americanfinancing.net at 800-906 2440. They're waiting for your call right now. It'll take you 10 minutes. You tell them what your mortgage is, the rate is. You tell them all of the goals that you have. They'll be able to assess in 10 minutes whether or not you know, you should continue the call or, you know, have them go and look for you and to see if they can make your life and your budget a lot better. Americanfinancing.net. No pressure, no strings of tax, and no hidden fees. It's Americanfinancing.net 800, 906, 2440. We pause for 10 seconds station ID. Now, David Louder from Reuters, also the geniuses at Time Magazine, they're so good that they don't even have a magazine left anymore. Lesandra Villa, she wrote for Time Magazine how some
Starting point is 01:37:33 anti-quarantine protests are now being promoted by national players with ties to Trump. I'd like to go back and see all of the times that the national papers in Time magazine talked about how Martin Luther King was actually funded in large part by the labor unions. It's why his job, his justice march to Washington, D.C. was for jobs and justice. Where was that in his dream speech? Where were the labor unions? They were behind it. it takes money to do things like this, but that doesn't mean that they're controlling things. And if they ever start to control you, you call me and I'll expose them.
Starting point is 01:38:17 What is exactly that you're doing, Stephen Moore? Is Stephen there? Sorry, I had mute on there for a second. Oh, there you are. Okay, there you go. We had, we put a coalition of the major conservative groups in the country, our little group, Committee on Leash Prosperity, which is Laffer and me and Forbes and others. And then we've got Freedom Works, and you know Freedom Works, obviously you work with.
Starting point is 01:38:45 Yep, yep, yep, yep. And Alec, which is the state legislative group. We've got CMP. And then we've got all these incredible national conservative leaders, everybody from Ed Nees to Ed Fullner to Newt Gingrich to the former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, you know, Ruff, Laffer, Steve Forbes, an amazing group of people. And the agenda is simple. Number one, open up the economy. It's really simple. We can't have a society.
Starting point is 01:39:14 We can't function if we don't have people producing things. That is a road to total disaster if we don't. And the good news is we're making a great progress on that. I'm actually getting somewhat optimistic. We have 28 states that are up and running. We need people like you, Glenn, to tell the story of what's happening in Georgia, for example. Remember when Governor Kemp opened up the economy? Remember what the left said?
Starting point is 01:39:35 He has blood on his hand. Murdering his own citizens. Georgia has one of the fastest reduction in death rates and hospitalizations. Have you read that in the media? No, I haven't, but I've read it, but not in the mainstream media. Yeah, no, I mean, don't you think they might, you know, if these were stand-up people, they might apologize? No, there's no apologies coming, Stephen. No, they have their agenda and they're going for it.
Starting point is 01:40:02 Yeah, so George is a great story. Florida. How about Ronda Santhus and Florida? He's done an amazing job. Yeah. And this is an amazing thing. Florida, Florida, Red State, New York, a blue state, Florida with Ron DeSantis, Democrat State, New York with Cuomo.
Starting point is 01:40:18 Florida actually has a higher population than the New York does, but New York has 50 times more cases. 50 times more. And yet the left holds up Cuomo as the style. He's the superstar governor. Yeah. They have half the case in the United States or in New York, and they hold it. him up as a success. Meanwhile, DeSantis, by the way, he has more older people, too. You know, Florida has a lot of senior citizens. He's done an amazing job, kept the nursing
Starting point is 01:40:46 up. Those stories aren't getting out there. My point is, Glenn, we can open up this economy and do it in a way that's safe for our citizen. I refuse. I refuse to surrender some kind of moral high ground to the left because they say, oh, we want to keep the economy shut down until every single, you know, life is saved. Meanwhile, we got people suffering from depression. We've got people committing suicide. We got people on alcoholism with drug abuse, child. You have farmers. You have farmers in California. I just talked to the mayor of a small town farming community. It's Atwood, California. Yesterday, he's like, this is going to end in disaster, absolute disaster. He went against the governor's rules and are opening it up because they have
Starting point is 01:41:31 common sense. They're farmers. And they're opening things up. We people will start. starve to death because of this. They will starve to death. We have to have an economy. Yes. Yeah. And they say, oh, you want to put people like you and Glenn Beck want to put greed and, you know, profits over people's lives. No.
Starting point is 01:41:52 When you see 40 percent, did you see that statistic, 40 percent of people will make less than $40,000? These are low-income and working-class America. 40 percent lost their jobs. I thought liberals cared about working-class America. And Glenn, I don't care how many of these. trillion-dollar bills that Nancy Pelosi wants to wants to pass at some point if people aren't producing if they're not working if you don't have put you're not going to you're right you're not going to have food in the grocery stores so so Stephen I mean I think this is intentional
Starting point is 01:42:24 they do care about the poor but only when they are subservient to them when they're when they have to get their their heroin or their money from the government we are destroying the small businesses, which in the last great recession, those small businesses created 80% of all new jobs. 80%. How is the small businessman going to survive? Are you seeing anything on this that is showing any positive signs? The only thing that can save these small business men and women, and you know, me, I think you and I think alike. I mean, the small business men and women who take the risk, put their whole
Starting point is 01:43:09 everything they've got, years of their life, every penny of savings they have into building the business. And then government comes along and then within weeks, they're telling me, if I don't get revenues or customers in the door in the next week or two, I'm out of business. I'll have to sell my assets. And once a business folds, it cannot reopen. You know, it's not like Lazarus. It doesn't come back from the dead. And so that is my fear is that so many of these great business And some of the people call me, they said, I put my whole life into this. And they've literally appeared. You know, they're crying.
Starting point is 01:43:42 It's like when you have a business and you run it and put your whole life into it, it's like losing a child. It really is. I mean, it's like, you know, a family member. And we're seeing millions of small businesses that are teetering on the verge of bankruptcy. And the left says, oh, just keep them shut down for another two or three months. That's just fine. Did you see in Los Angeles the Dudscap mayor there wants to keep the city of Los Angeles shut down for three more months, you're going to have rioting in the streets.
Starting point is 01:44:10 Stephen Moore, how can people get a hold of the SOS? Am I the one who's losing my mind, glum? No, you're not. You're not. You're not. Save our country coalition. Stephen Moore, you can find him at heritage.org. Heritage.org.
Starting point is 01:44:30 Thank you very much, Stephen Moore. We'll talk again. Back in just a second. All right. Let me talk to you. about what Stephen was saying here. We are on the edge. We've got to open back up.
Starting point is 01:44:56 We've got to get moving again. And may I say, if you have money, you have to be somebody who retains money. The big guys are they're all going to have their money. They're all going to have their money. George Soros isn't going to worry about it. Goldman Sachs, I think it's City and Chase or J.P. Morgan have come out in the last couple of months and said, they believe gold's going to be at $3,000 an ounce. If that's true, the world is insane in the next 12 to 24 months.
Starting point is 01:45:28 Insane. It has to be for gold to jump like that. I hope to God they're wrong, but I don't buy gold as an investment. I buy it as a hedge against insanity. And so far, the whole world is insane. And they keep going down this road. Please call Gold Line. Now they're one of the few places still shipping.
Starting point is 01:45:48 on demand with sufficient inventory. So call them now. Find out if gold or silver is right for you. Have something left. 866 gold line. 866 gold line. Glenn's big show is tonight. Go to blaztv.com slash Glenn.
Starting point is 01:46:04 Use the promo code. Glenn. You'll get access for 10 bucks off. Right. By the way, Hello America and welcome to the program. Let me give you a story on Ukraine that's just breaking now. The infamous story of Joe Biden's effort to force the firing
Starting point is 01:46:27 of Ukraine's chief prosecutor in 2016 has taken a new legal twist in Kiev or Kiev, just as the former vice president is sewing up his presidential nomination in America. In Kiev last month, district court judge S.J. Volk ordered the country's law enforcement services to formally list the fire prosecutor, Victor Shokin, as a victim of an alleged crime by the former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, according to an official English translation of the ruling obtained by just the news. The court has previously ordered the Prosecutor General's Office and the State Bureau of Investigation in February to investigate Shokin's claims that he was fired in spring 2016 under pressure from Biden because he was investigating Burisma Holdings. The court ruled that there
Starting point is 01:47:21 is now adequate evidence to investigate his claims that Biden pressured. the then President Petroporoshenko, including a threat to withhold a billion dollars in loan guarantees. But when the law enforcement agencies opened the probe, they refused to name Biden as the alleged perpetrator of the crime. Instead, listing the potential defendant as an unnamed American. Volk ruled that anonymous listing was improper and ordered the law enforcement agencies to formally name Joe Biden
Starting point is 01:47:56 as the accused as the accused perpetrator. This is stunning. Now there is audio of this and we bring Jason Betrill back in. He is our chief researcher. He has been on this Ukraine story now with me for what,
Starting point is 01:48:14 almost a year and a half. And we have the audio. Do you want to set this up, Jason? Yeah. So I'm not sure which because there are multiple clips but I think that this clip that we're about to play here is Joe Biden and
Starting point is 01:48:29 Prochenko right as they were discussing, right after Joe Biden said, hey, can you get this prosecutor Shokin fired for me? And Poroshenko calls Joe Biden back up and he says this. Yesterday, I met me with the
Starting point is 01:49:16 general prosecutor Shokin. Despite of the fact that we didn't have any corruption charges, we don't have any information about he doing something or I especially ask him, no it was day before yesterday, I especially ask him to resign. In, as his position as a state person. And despite the fact that he has a support in the power.
Starting point is 01:49:55 And as a finish of my meeting with him, he promised me to give me the statement on resignation. And one hour ago, he brought me the written statement of his resignation. Great. And this is my second step for keeping my promises. Very well indeed. As usual, when I hear your voice. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:50:36 Well, you are doing. Holy cow. That's definitely both of them. There's no question. That's both of their voices. No question. Oh, yeah. And there is Shokin saying, we have no evidence of any wrongdoing.
Starting point is 01:51:32 There are no charges against him. So when Biden said, everybody knew, everybody knew, well, the president of the country that was friendly to you guys. This is not the current guy. This is the old guy that was friendly to Hillary and Obama. and totally corrupt. He even said there is no evidence on that, but I'm going to do it as a favor to you
Starting point is 01:51:56 so I can keep my promises. Holy cow, is that kind of important? A little bit. And to go off of what Stu was just saying, the Washington Post is reporting on this as if it's verified. I've reached out to them to say if anyone off the record has verified the legitimacy.
Starting point is 01:52:14 It seems very authentic. We just haven't verified a, yet. I actually right now I just missed a call from one of my sources in Ukraine who I'm going to call back as soon as I get off with you. We're still trying to figure this out. But this sounds like to me, it sounds like an intercept. Now, if you listen to the entire audio, it's frightening because they say you hear the White House operator. You hear there's many times they're saying I'm calling from Air Force 2 at the moment. I hope the call doesn't get dropped. It's insane. I don't think this is an answer. I don't think it is. I really don't. I think
Starting point is 01:52:47 this is Ukrainian. I mean, it is not he's clear. That that's being recorded on his end, on the, on the President Poirchenko's end. That sounds like a recording from his room.
Starting point is 01:53:03 Yeah, he's got it on speaker. This is. Yeah, this is them. This is from Ukraine. The thing. You don't think so? Well, I, it's, it's very suspect because of the people that release this. His name is Andre Dirkatch. and he's a Ukrainian member of parliament.
Starting point is 01:53:20 He's very, very pro-Russia, very, very pro-Russia. His dad was in the KGB. He actually learned at a KGB university himself when he was younger. And now he represents a block within Ukraine that's very, very pro-Russian. Now, many people will say, this is important to know, because many people will say, oh, it's just Putin trying to give Trump another leg up. That's total bull. This has nothing to do with U.S. politics.
Starting point is 01:53:43 The only thing this has to do is Ukrainian politics. And the Western media. So listen, when we talk to, who is that guy that was part of the, the, the, the AG over there? And then he went to work for the embassy. Remember the Ukrainian guy? What was his name? Andre Teloshenko. Okay.
Starting point is 01:54:05 So Telashenko said to me, and I thought this was interesting. He said, you know, we thought we had, we were going to have freedom. And you guys are just doing the same thing to us. that Russia was doing. And I think this is a Russian leak, but not meant for the United States. Instead, meant for the Ukrainians. Because the Ukrainians will see how corrupt we were and what we were doing. And if we don't clean it up here, any hope that we have that the Ukrainian people would be
Starting point is 01:54:37 pro-American and an ally with us, which we need, otherwise they go to the Russians. if the Ukrainians say there's no difference between Vladimir Putin and the United States of America, we're toast. We're toast. And that's the message that the Ukrainians are getting. Look at this other story. This one comes from the, let me see if I can get it. The Kiev Post, okay, Ukraine's global voice. What do you know about the Kiev Post?
Starting point is 01:55:12 Do you know anything? a balanced one way or another? I've seen them very, very kind of ostrich head in the sand on a lot of this stuff in the past. Okay. So here's what they just released more of this audio. And the headline is Ukrainian MP releases Biden Poroshenko call recordings and spouts absurd conspiracy theory. Now, the recording. things that they have, that they are releasing, that we haven't played for you yet, but we will
Starting point is 01:55:48 tomorrow, are the conversations that they allege between Biden and George Soros and Poroshenko and how Soros and Biden were working together with the United States to exert, and listen to this exerted undue influence over the Ukrainian government under Poroshenko. So what's happening is this is local politics. This is Ukrainian politics. But they are using our bad things to turn people against us. Amazing. And this is something chance? You think it's a chance? Absolutely. I mean, we've already exposed a lot of this on when you did Democrats Hydra. I mean, this is just further, you know, this is further evidence. Verification.
Starting point is 01:56:42 Verification. We've shown you the documents. They're out there. There is one other story that you need to know. This is coming from the Washington Examiner. Democrats on the Homeland Security Committee are urging their Republican counterparts to please prioritize the coronavirus pandemic over their investigation related to Hunter and Joe Biden and Bereave.
Starting point is 01:57:06 Holdings in Ukraine. Oh my gosh. Tuesday in a letter to Senator Ron Johnson, the Wisconsin Republican who heads the committee, Democrats requested an immediate hearing to examine the federal government's response to the pandemic, which is now killed over 90,000 people and affected blah, blah, blah. This pandemic presents an ongoing threat to our national and economic security,
Starting point is 01:57:27 and we're continuing to face dire warnings from public health officials. Please, our committee has a responsibility to ask tough questions on the pandemic. pandemic response and to get answers for the American people. Unbelievable. The goal of these people to now use the pandemic to say, hey, hey, hey, what are you doing? Wasn't that what we were saying the whole time about Trump? What are you doing?
Starting point is 01:57:55 Why are you spending all this money? Get back to work with the American people. Now that they're being exposed and all of this is being verified, now they're all of a sudden, hey, let's not have hearing. Let's not. Mm-mm. That's bipartisan. Why aren't we just being so bipartisan?
Starting point is 01:58:13 Jason, thank you so much. And we'll have a report, hopefully, from you tomorrow with a little bit more on these recordings, and show you the latest on Barack Obama, George Soros, and Joe Biden. It's not going to end well. It's just not going to end well. All right. Let me take a quick break. tell you about our sponsor this half hour.
Starting point is 01:58:40 Do you remember the old story about the boy who picked up some stones in a little brook and then popped them in a slingshot and killed a giant? Life is a little like that giant sometimes, and it brings all the aches and the pains that come with aging and exercise and movement in general. And it can be enough, really, just to get you down and get you to get up every morning and go, I can't do it anymore. I've been there.
Starting point is 01:59:05 I got that t-shirt. when Pete and Seth Talbot founded Relief Factor, it was precisely this sort of giant that they wish to take down. People often take drugs to manage pain, and I don't like the side effects of the drugs. And it just makes you, it doesn't make the pain go away, just makes you not care about it. Well, that's not helping. Relief factor, it reduces the inflammation. My pain is gone. I would say 90% of the time now, where I maybe had 5% of the,
Starting point is 01:59:36 of the time where I didn't have pain before, it's flipped it. Relieffactor.com. Relieffactor.com. It works. Slay your giant. Get your life back. Relieffactor.com, you can call them at 800, 500, 583, 8384. I take it three times a day, have for the last two years. Try it, please. 800, 500, 8384 relief factor.com. You're listening to Glenn back. I just, I have to give you a story here that, boggles my mind. I am fascinated by science and what we don't know. I want to give you a story,
Starting point is 02:00:28 but I want to start with the sources on this story are NASA, the new scientist, and space.com, also nature. So all pretty good credible sources. This, the, the, the, scientists have discovered on a NASA-sponsored research group, the Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna, which, I mean, we've won many awards for our documentaries on that. They had a $35 million project in 2003 to look for and study ghostly particles that fill the universe. Sounds like a scam to me. The project uses a specifically made balloon that detects radio waves,
Starting point is 02:01:16 admitted when high energy neutrinos interact in the Antarctic ice shelf. Well, I mean, who doesn't want to know what those space neutrinos are doing? You know what I mean? According to the new scientist, this balloon that holds an antenna would go up for a month and scan thousands of miles of Antarctic air looking for these energy particles that would be coming down from space and then hitting the Antarctic shelf. And the reason why they picked Antarctica is because of the cold, dry air, and very little, if any, radio signals to distort any findings.
Starting point is 02:01:52 They said there was a constant wind of high energy particles coming from outer space, but they couldn't pick any of them up. So they looked at these two flights over two years, and they found these little bursts or these distortions, but they didn't look into them. There was nothing else. And they're like, what is happening? So they decided to go up on the third flight,
Starting point is 02:02:14 and they decided to look over the data from, the previous flights, specifically at the random noises it recorded. What they discovered, according to new scientist, was something impossible. The signal is not coming from space, but rather it's coming up from the ground. And I'm quoting the scientists now, quote, that means these particles are traveling back in time and could be evidence of a parallel universe. You know, a universe where my dog is not barking behind me. Okay?
Starting point is 02:02:52 They say this may be evident. They have no other explanation. They said, as crazy as it sounds, if that's the only explanation that we have left, that must be the explanation. That doesn't mean that the multiverse is real, but it looks like scientists are now looking at it going, Yeah, it might be.
Starting point is 02:03:14 Where left is right and right is left, up is down, and time goes backwards.
