Starting point is 00:00:00 It's something else here now. Something new. From. Exclusively on Paramount Plus. It's the series Stephen King calls Scarious Hell. Everything here is impossible, but it's also real. Sci-fi Vision calls it the best show streaming right now. We're running out of time and we still don't know the rules.
Starting point is 00:00:19 Don't miss what the movie blog calls something you need to watch. Saving those children is how we all go home. From binge all episodes exclusively on Paramount Plus. In the 1960s, 95% of the clothing Americans bought was made right here in America. Now we're not making anything. Now 97% is made overseas. It is a complete reversal of the way things used to be in this country. But I suggest we can change that.
Starting point is 00:00:48 And so does American Giant. American Giant got into business because in North Carolina, there was this great old factory that was being shut. down. And the guy who started American Giant didn't like it. So he worked with the factory to invest in new machinery and skill development. Ten years later, they are making some of the best American clothing that has come out of America since the 1960s. Best, uh, buy American, buy American Giant. Go to American dash giant.com slash Glenn. Save our country. American dash giant.com slash glen.
Starting point is 00:01:32 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck program. Another school shooting, a tragic one. The president opened yesterday with an ice cream joke. In fact, it felt like a comedic monologue. It was so incredibly insensitive. And the media was worried that we were all using the wrong pronouns for the killer. I've got a few things to say.
Starting point is 00:02:41 We begin in 60 seconds. I don't know if you've seen, but we are in real, real trouble with American meat. We have fewer cattle now than we have had since the 1960s, and they have intentionally gutted the American rancher. And they're giving you now new meat. They're changing laws again. So any meat can be called American. any meat can be called American.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Okay, well, gee, what is the definition of America anymore? What does it mean to be an American? What does American meat even mean? Look, I want to save you money and give you some great, great meat at the same time with good ranchers. Good ranchers is a service that Tanya and I use, and we absolutely love it. It is good American meat, beef, chicken, fish. You put your order together, and as long as you're subscribed to Good Ranchers, your price doesn't go up. The price of meat is going to go up at least 15% this year.
Starting point is 00:03:52 That's what they say. Of course, they're experts, so they always get it wrong. It'll probably be 20%. I want you to go to Good Ranchers right now. You'll get a year of free Applewood smoked bacon. added to each box for a year. So go to good ranchers.com. That's good ranchers.com.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Use the promo code, Beck. Do it today. Well, we had yet another tragic school shooting. And so I want to start the program where we have started too often. Our hearts break for the victims and their families and the entire community affected by this senseless act of violence. I'm a parent. I'm a concerned citizen. All of us fear for the safety of our
Starting point is 00:04:48 children and our loved ones. We share the same goal of creating a safe and secure environment for everyone, but especially in the places of learning and growth. It is natural for all of us to feel anger and fear during these times. And it may seem unnatural to rise above it, but we must. Because it's essential to remember that we have to come together as a society. We must come together and address the root causes of violence. And it's not the gun, but rather the misuse of them by individuals who are mentally ill or have a criminal intent. I for one want to address the problem of gun violence.
Starting point is 00:05:52 I am worried about this with my own children. Every American I don't care who you voted for feels the same. But enough is enough. When will we address mental health? Do you know the damage that we have done to our children just because of COVID? The damage to their mental health? Look at the suicide rate. What is causing all of this?
Starting point is 00:06:28 It is the loss of the old guards of our civilization. There are a few areas I think we need to address. First, the parents and families, I'm sorry. We love you. Our society is sick. It is sick and unrecognizable to most of us. us. Your loved ones have paid the ultimate price for that illness. And I say I'm sorry because I'm part of the society that has an unwillingness to see the truth, apparently. To the mother of
Starting point is 00:07:25 the 27-year-old shooter, I've read your old posts. You've been fighting against guns in school. While we disagree, we both want this violence to end. And I've read your post about your children and how proud you are and the moments of beauty you feel like every mom and dad feels about their child and you were right to feel that way today how confused you must be you should know we love you too you lost a child as well you lost a child to the same society that has an unwillingness to see the truth. But you should also know you're part of our community, and we mourn with you as well.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Now, to the political class and the media elites, you have been dividing us for years. At first, I think I was a part of that. I've tried really hard not to be, but you're not sincere in anything you do. I don't know. At first, maybe you saw, maybe you thought you were right.
Starting point is 00:09:08 And then every time society proved you wrong, you just dug your heels in. Now I don't know. Now is it just a win over your opponent? Is it just crushed the other side? Is it because you believe that everyone who doesn't vote your way is evil? Or is it that there's just no longer care? I'm one American among I think many that no longer believe in you. I can understand why thinking people vote differently than me.
Starting point is 00:09:46 I can. And those people aren't the problem. The problem begins with the people that only care about money or power or so arrogant that they think they know better than the rest of us. And they make themselves or their system into a false God. The arrogance you go after the disaffected, the weak and the weak and the, a hopeless, and you pray on these things, promising to be their savior, if they will only help you gain power of over those who you call their enemies. You have lied.
Starting point is 00:10:31 You have lied through half-truths. You've lied through omission. You've lied through fabrications. You've distorted the truth to where it's no longer recognizable. You call men, women, and women, men. In your world, our children are legally children until 25 for insurance purposes, yet adult enough to alter their own bodies at 8. You have called evil good and good evil. We do not have a gun problem in America.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Per capita, there were more guns 100 years ago than there were. are right now. They didn't have these problems. Is it the gun or is it the people? What we have in America is a truth problem. We have turned ourselves inside out. We have turned ourselves against the basic principles that gave us life and freedom. Oh, and the promise of a fuller life, our women have no more children.
Starting point is 00:11:50 our men have lost all meaning, reason, and faith. From the beginning of time, as Kipling noticed, You promised us perpetual peace. You swore if we just give you our weapons that the wars of the tribe would cease. But we know, if you disarm us, you'll sell us and deliver us bound to our foe. You know, just yesterday, the Wall Street Journal released a poll that showed what American principles we value most.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Children, God, family. They were last in the list. Money was in the top three. Money? Since when has money become a principal? I guess. I guess since money is the God that's so. many worship. Money over principals every time a corrupt bank is bailed out. Money over principles
Starting point is 00:13:25 any time we make those who never want to pay their school tuition, every time we make somebody pay for that tuition that didn't go to school, I guess it's money over principles. What kind of God do we worship that make children flawed? And the gods and the surgical gowns can mutilate and sterilize them to make them just the way they were intended. That's an ancient god that I don't recognize. We all know the words that were written in the summer of 1776. We hold these truths. But other words were written later that year. When things weren't so sunny, It was December 21st. These are the times the tri-men souls.
Starting point is 00:14:52 That turned our nation around. These are the times the tri-men's souls and the modern-day patriots, the lovers of truth and justice. Justice for all, all men, all women. And yes, we can define that. We must stand firm in the face of an ever-growing storm of disinformation, discord, division, the weak-hearted are not going to be able to weather this storm.
Starting point is 00:15:39 But those with a courage to fight for what is true will emerge victorious. We live in a time when our faith in institutions, our faith in everything we know, where our very democracy, our republic is under siege, the way. out is to remember the principles we are drowning in a sea of lies. Cling to the life raft. Cling to the enduring belief in life and liberty, truth and justice. We'll only be able to find our way out if we can rekindle the flame of unity and embrace the American spirit that carried us through so many crisis before.
Starting point is 00:16:54 We've been here before, but this time our American crisis, we have to constantly remind ourselves that it's not an external enemy that we conquer, but the internal divisions that are threatening to tear us apart, and those divisions that are created by monsters of men, who are not just tearing us apart individual from individual, but tearing us and our children apart from the inside out. America, it is high time to reaffirm our commitment to the values that define us as a people. It is our collective responsibility as free people to stand up for those principles of truth.
Starting point is 00:17:58 The seeds of division have been sown by those who seek to manipulate and exploit us for their own gain. to shatter our trust in one another, to instill fear and hatred, where there should be understanding and compassion. Truth is now clouded by conspiracy. The lines between fact and fiction have been blurred. Truth is a light. Everything we face is not insurmountable. But now is the time to return to truth and decency and decency and
Starting point is 00:18:53 injustice for all. Our kids are the ones who are going to pay the highest of prices for what we do now. U.S. Air Force, senior master, Sergeant Israel del Toro Jr. He had one horrific moment. It takes one. He was in Afghanistan. The Humvee he was riding in exploded, leaving him with severe burns all over his body. 80% of his body. Doctors gave him like a 15% chance of survival. But he did. In fact, later, he became the first fully disabled American permitted to reenlist. And he is a gold medal winner in the Invictus games. He's not a quitter. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation made sure that he and his family received a mortgage-free smart home. Not because he's special, but because he was injured,
Starting point is 00:20:04 and that is part of the group of people that they take care of. If you are injured in the line of duty, whether you're a cop, a firefighter, or a military man, they want to make sure that you can go on with your life to inspire others. Help the heroes like Del Toro when they need it most. Donate $11 a month to tunnel to towers at T's. 2T.org. That's T, the number 2t.org.
Starting point is 00:20:33 10 seconds. Station ready. Can we please play Joe Biden coming out to address the Nashville shooting? Here's what he said. My name is Joe Biden. I'm Dr. Joe Biden's husband. And I ate Jenny's ice cream, chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream.
Starting point is 00:21:06 By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs. You think I'm kidding. I'm not. That's how he walks into a room. He walks into the room and then says, we have to stop gun violence. It's ripping our communities apart. Ripping the soul of the nation. We have to do more to protect our schools. No, we don't.
Starting point is 00:21:34 We need to heal the hearts of Americans. Do you know what, while the legacy media was scrambling to find out the real gender. My gosh, police have misgendered the Nashville shooter. If that's your priority, she was biologically a female.
Starting point is 00:22:09 She's a female. Unfortunately, she has been so screwed up by this society to where she didn't know up from down right from wrong. Can you imagine the mental health? Well, officials had used
Starting point is 00:22:31 she and her to refer to the suspect, who, according to social media posts and a LinkedIn profile, appear to identify as a man. Mm. Mm. And they continued, and there are no signs of mental illness. Really?
Starting point is 00:22:53 No signs? None whatsoever. None. You're never going to solve this. the Glenn Beck program. Well, if you're a Joe Biden fan, and really, I mean, who isn't? He loves ice cream, and so do I. You're probably thinking everything is just fine with the economy, the banking industry.
Starting point is 00:23:19 I mean, you know, he told us. I mean, how much more assurance do you need? This is the big guy, and he's got everything under control. How are we screwed? If you want your kids to know why banking, energy, housing, food, all mess. up, you need to make sure you get this free book, the Tuttle Twins and the messed up market. It has nothing to do with Joe Biden. It has everything to do with the philosophy that is running our country. This is crucial information for your family. You can learn from it as well.
Starting point is 00:23:53 The book explains how the government will mess up markets every single time. So your kids will have the tools to know what to look for, how to fight back, and how to come back on top when society decides, you know, this isn't working. Get your copy of the Tuttle Twins in the messed up market. You just pay for shipping. It's free. Go to Tuttle Twinsbeck.com. This week only, it's free. Tuttle Twinsbeck.com.
Starting point is 00:24:19 Help us fight against big tech and government censorship. Use the promo code will not be censured. Censored. BlitzTV.com slash Glenn. So the slaying of children in Tennessee at a Christian school was a person who police described as transgender. Now, in sheer coincidence, this is the week that transgender activists have slated for a day of vengeance. The group run in part by former Democratic staffer who raised money for firearms
Starting point is 00:25:09 training and specifically called for action in Nashville, the city where the shootings took place, and specifically named the Daily Wire's offices there. I mean, it's just sheer coincidence. The main day of vengeance is scheduled to occur in Washington, D.C., 11 a.m. Saturday. People are asked to show up wearing a mask at the Supreme. Court. Now, Brett Kavanaugh has been a target of LGBTQ activists. He narrowly avoided an assassination attempt by a far-left activist just last year. Other events will occur March 31st, according to promotional materials. That is also the Trans Day of Visibility. But organizers
Starting point is 00:26:07 wrote, we need more than visibility. The time is now. Trans-radical activist Network says. The site quotes participant at the Stonewall Riot saying, I remember when someone threw a Molotov cocktail and I thought, my God, the revolution is here. The group planning vengeance is run in part by a former staffer for Virginia Democrats. Now, let me ask you, how long does this have to happen? Before Democrats, good Democrats, people that, you know, are normal people look at their own party and say it's been taken over by the insanity of radicals.
Starting point is 00:27:02 Pat Gray joins us. Pat, is it my memory playing tricks on me or this isn't the first trans person that has done a mass shooting recently? I believe we counted four this morning. that just that we can think of in the last couple of years. Can you name them? There was, I probably not right offhand and I don't want to make a mistake because then, you know, I'll get bombarded on. Okay, okay. But, yeah, I believe there's been four trans shooters.
Starting point is 00:27:39 And it's, you know, and as you were just talking about the week of vengeance, how long did we hear about Sarah Palin targeting that? Arizona district, you know, for an election. And then Gabby Giffords got shot. And it was her fault because she incited it. Even though it was a guy who was really upset with punctuation, literally. Right. It was the act of an insane man.
Starting point is 00:28:08 Now, here's, I'm not saying, in fact, I want to make it very clear. This is not what transgender people do. They don't go out and kill people. They don't do that. They also don't go out and molest little children. Some people do, just like some straight people do. Some straight people go out and kill people. Some transgender do.
Starting point is 00:28:36 But I'm telling you, if you have four in a population this small, if you have four, you have a problem with mental illness. And transgender people, you want to know who's going to get you into all kinds of trouble, are all of these radicals that are confusing the minds of children, of children. Imagine growing up and you've got some kind of problem. You don't know what it is. You just, you want to be popular, so you're going to go do the hard thing, you know, which is the easy thing, you know, which is the easy thing.
Starting point is 00:29:19 be popular nowadays. You're going to just look for an easy excuse because your teachers are pounding you every day. Maybe you were born in the wrong body. Yeah, maybe I was. You go to a doctor. Yep, you were born in the wrong body. We can fix you. You're fixed. And then what happens? And then what happens? You go through all of that and now you're trapped. That wasn't the answer. What do you? What do you think? And then what about all of the people that are trans? They want to be a different sex.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Okay. What do you think happens when leadership from Washington and media says that there's a genocide going on? If you think that's a genocide, what are you going to do? well like most people who believe abortion is a genocide you will fight in the courts and you will pray for peace and a change of people's hearts but if you don't have a peaceful god instead you have people winding anger up in you what do you think is going to happen and you know who's going to get the brunt of all of this? Us, we will.
Starting point is 00:31:01 For saying this on the air, we will be deemed the enemies of peace. When we're saying our children are suffering and mainly because you're introducing things into their life that caused nothing but confusion. What do you think introducing children, little children, to sexual positions? What do you think that does to children? My gosh. And when you bring it up, you're a fascist who's trying to ban books on something we used to all agree. I bet until five, ten years ago at the most. Five years ago.
Starting point is 00:31:48 There was probably 95% agreement on this. Do we happen to have, Sarah, the clip of, I think it was on Bill Mars show where Dennis Prager said, well, you know, calling men and women, you know, and women can go in and play, or men can go in and play women's sports and you don't have it? Okay. And Bill Maher said, what are you even talking about? And it was insane. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:24 Five, six years ago. Insane. And now for some reason, our neighbors are either silent about it. Silence is an act of standing up. Your silence puts you into the camp of, I agree this to be, this is true. You cannot remain silent. When the battle of truth, basic truth, is raging because you're not on the sidelines. You're actually on the opposing side.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Because the people who are standing up are going, come on guys, it's not just me, right? It's not just me. But you're afraid. You're afraid of what? Do you realize how many more of us there are than those who want to manipulate control, destroy your family, destroy your children? They're in a vast minority. All you need to change a country is 17% of really committed people.
Starting point is 00:33:40 That's it. That's it. They don't even have that. Here's the clip from Bill Maher. These are giant left-wing lies. We're talking about degrees. To say that men can menstruate is a lie, and that is now what is said. Wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:33:59 Hey, wait, where did that mean? You never heard it. Well, okay. Check it out, folks. Check it out. Anyone who says a man can not menstruate is considered transphobic. I missed this whole story. You did.
Starting point is 00:34:12 I did. Tell me where you're getting this. Just Google it. Can men menstruate? Who is saying this? You're talking about a very small story. Oh, really? That how do you allow men, biological men, to run against women in the races in Connecticut and set all the high school records?
Starting point is 00:34:27 Okay, I know. They're called men. The Nation magazine said they're women. Okay, but I would agree with you on that. The way you framed it is nonsense. No, I framed it perfectly accurately. No, no, no, no, you didn't. What you're talking about is, yes, someone who is transgendered was a man, now claims to be a woman.
Starting point is 00:34:44 As a woman, okay, is beating the... dog out of other women in the race because, of course, they had more muscle mass and even Martina Navratilova came out and said, this is ridiculous. You might as well not have women's sport. This is a far cry from saying men can menstruate.
Starting point is 00:35:02 I agree. But that's not where anyone went with that, but you. Look at that. Five years ago. Five years ago, the entire audience of Bill Maher laughed. There wasn't anybody that was saying, no, no, no, no, wait. That's true. Now you have
Starting point is 00:35:21 men in women's feminine product commercials. You have men advertising tampons. There's no place to put that, dude. There's no place to put that. You don't have the same equipment as women do.
Starting point is 00:35:39 And if you're bleeding from that area, see a doctor. That's not normal? Once a month for men? No, it's weird. No, it's really not. It's really not. We are denying reality and we are paying for it with our children. Back in a minute. Someday when you're looking back over all your financial history down through
Starting point is 00:36:08 the years, how are you going to feel about the money that you spent paying on high interest credit cards? When you compare the initial principle of that credit card to the actual amount you intended on paying, the difference is going to be massive. Most credit card interest rates now are in the 20s. Maybe it's time you get out from underneath those high interest debts. You could be refinancing your home's mortgage at a much lower rate right now and rapidly closing the gap between you and financial freedom that you want for yourself and your family.
Starting point is 00:36:45 American financing is a family-owned mortgage company that's in it for you. And they're saving people just like you an average of $700 a month. Plus, you could end up being able to delay up to two mortgage payments and close in as little as 10 days. So the call is free. There's no reason to wait. Just pick up the phone, see if they can help you. American financing. The number is 800-906 2440.
Starting point is 00:37:12 800-906-2440 or go to Americanfinancing.comnet. American financing, NMLS-182334. www. nmLS consumer access.org. Join the conversation. 888727 back the Glenn Beck. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. By the way, we were just talking about the four trans shooters. Here are the facts.
Starting point is 00:37:58 Colorado Spring Shooter identified as non-binary. the Denver shooter identified as trans. The Aberdeen shooter identified as trans. The Nashville shooter, trans. Now, that's a very small part of the population. What's going on? Are we even allowed to point that out? Has any traditional newspaper
Starting point is 00:38:30 pointed this out. Is anybody looking for the answers and the connection and what's happening to that community? Nah. No, why would you do that? Let's talk about guns. Can't take it. We're going to talk a little bit about global warming
Starting point is 00:38:54 and the latest to get rid of our cars. That's good because, man, Has it been hot lately? Has it? Well, if you remember the quote in an inconvenient book where we talked about how there would be no snow by 2020. Oh, right. It would be a thing of the past. Children will not know what snow is by 2020.
Starting point is 00:39:22 And boy, I tell you. Wow, did that hold up or what? It did. Wee. Yeah. Even in Los Angeles. Well, they don't know what snow. snow is, but they had it there and they were like, what's this, mommy?
Starting point is 00:39:35 Was it the first? I think it was the first time in recorded history they had snow at the Hollywood sign. Yeah. It was either the first or second. I mean, it's unbelievably rare. Yeah. Well, it happens. But it does.
Starting point is 00:39:49 It happens. You know what caused that? It wasn't global warming or global cooling or global climate change. Wow. Raccoon dogs. Raccoon dogs. Raccoon dogs. I don't know what changed that.
Starting point is 00:40:00 Yeah. Really? Yeah, a lot of people don't know that, but I have it on good authority that raccoon dogs. Pretty much everything, you know, the majority, not yesterday's, but the majority of shootings, raccoon dogs. Oh, wow. Yeah. They're the ones that are dragging these semi-automatic death machines right to the children's feet. That is the technical term form, I think, semi-automatic death machines.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Yeah. It is. It is. Yeah, it is. By the way, the professor that was suspended at Wayne State University, he was suspended with pay after writing on Facebook that it is more admirable to kill a right-wing speaker than it is to shout them down on a college campus. Wow. Yeah. Stephen Schaviro, college liberal arts and science professor, said that, you know, he doesn't advocate violating.
Starting point is 00:40:59 federal and state criminal codes. But it is far more admiral to kill a racist, homophobic, transphobic speaker than it is to shout them down. Really? Wow. Wow, that's amazing. When right-wing groups invite shut speakers
Starting point is 00:41:16 to campus, it is precisely because they want to provoke an incident that discredits the left and gives them more publicity and validation for these reprehensible views than they could otherwise attain. unbelievable. By the way, he was suspended, but don't worry about him. He's getting pay.
Starting point is 00:41:35 So he's just a little paid vacation. He'll be back. Don't worry. I mean, what do you think? They're crazy? The Glenn Beck program. Let me talk to you a little bit about, let me talk to you a little bit about sweat block. If you, if you sweat like I do sometimes, I keep the studios ice cold because sometimes I sweat a bit. not today because it's cool outside but uh i wear sweat block because when i when i uh do uh sweat especially outside in the summer and stuff it's not pretty it's really not pretty and uh not not not not not doesn't smell it i don't smell like flowers when that happens sweat block i want you to try their
Starting point is 00:42:21 uh their wipes the sweat block wipes you just open this up and you take out the little towel and you wipe it under each arm and you're done for a week. It is really amazing. Really amazing. Sweat Block. If you have a problem of sweating or know somebody who does, go to Sweatblock.com. Use the promo code.
Starting point is 00:42:39 Beck, get 20% off. Sweatblock. Dot com. She knows. How? Did you blouse? No. The Devil Wears Prada 2.
Starting point is 00:42:48 He's the movie event 20 years in the making. Honestly, can't with the secrets anymore, so I think we just should tell her. Will you two please spit it out already? This Friday, be the first to experience. It's only in theaters. In light of the recent scandal, I'm here to restore your credibility. Oh, because we're a team now?
Starting point is 00:43:06 That's a nice story. The Devil Wares Prada 2 in Theaters Friday. What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck program. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. Hey, have you ever wondered, what's the plan to plug all these cars in? Do we need extra infrastructure or are we just going to find an outlet to plug my car in? How is that going to work?
Starting point is 00:44:22 And especially if we're going to do it by 2030. And why are all the car companies? I mean, is the demand really that big that all the car companies are like, we got to get rid of the combustion engine? Yes, it built the world, but we got to get rid of it by, well, let's be reasonable. What do you say? 20 minutes. We talked to a car expert about this.
Starting point is 00:44:46 He's done some of the noodling on it, and it doesn't seem to work out. We'll go there in 60 seconds. Somewhere, very close to where you are right now, there's a real estate agent, and this isn't the old garden variety agent. This person doesn't moonlight as a pizza delivery driver. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Starting point is 00:45:09 Whatever they call these people, they're not the people who are picking up the stray golf balls at the golf course. These are the people that are actually out every single day, dedicated, professional, that is selling homes and buying homes and getting the job done right. The person that is working with our company, real estate agents, I trust.com, are somebody that we have vetted. We work with constantly. We monitor their progress.
Starting point is 00:45:42 the level of satisfaction that they bring to you, the customer. There will a lot of buying and selling a homes over the years, and I can tell you from experience that the most important thing you face is making sure that your agent is the best of the best. So let us help you find them. You just write to us, tell us where you're buying and selling, could be in the same city, could be different cities. We'll help you find the right real estate agents.
Starting point is 00:46:05 It's a free service to you, real estate agents. I trust.com. That's real estate agents. I trust. dot com. All right. So we have kind of an interesting kind of an interesting situation.
Starting point is 00:46:20 I don't know if you saw this, but an eminent Oxford scientist has spoken out now. But he's probably not the right kind of expert. Have you noticed we're all supposed to listen to the experts unless they disagree with the other experts? I mean, it's really easy to tell
Starting point is 00:46:40 which experts you. you should listen to. Does the government agree with those experts? If they do, then they're the right experts. If they don't, then they're dangerous experts that should be silenced. Well, he's saying we're going to run out of electricity here because wind power fails on every count. Now, while we're disabling some of our power generation plants, anything that's with coal, we're disabling them and dismantling them here in the United States, so there's no way back. We're also buying electric cars,
Starting point is 00:47:19 or at least I don't know if we're buying them as much as somebody selling them. And everybody, I think, just based on how many car companies are going all electric, these car companies must be selling buttloads of electric cars, right? The demand has got to be crazy for them. Well, maybe not. Maybe not so much. I talked to Paul Bryan. He is Car Coach reports editor at large. For 20 years, he was on the management team running the Chicago Auto Show. He also managed the Alpha Romeo IndyCar team. He's a Emmy Award winning broadcaster, all about cars. talking to him over the weekend and wow, I heard
Starting point is 00:48:15 stuff I've not heard before. So we welcome to the program now. Paul Brian. Hi, Paul. Hey, good morning. How are you? What a nice surprise to be with you? Terrific. How are you? So I wanted to talk to you a little bit about our email exchange over the weekend about why is everyone
Starting point is 00:48:35 ending the combustion engine? What's happening? Is demand really that big? Big? No, Glenn, no, it's not. I know you're going to find that argument. I need to set out at the start here. I am not an anti-EV guy. I'm an anti-EV guy right now. I'm against it when it's an agenda. It's not an option. I'm against it when we frankly have to go to China for most of the I'm going to say we need to make the batteries and other things in there. I'm against them when we need government subsidies to get customers through the door. And then once they get through the door and they take a look at the price of the car versus an internal combustion car, they kind of go, hmm, let me think about that. And the weird thing for me is that there's no soul there.
Starting point is 00:49:43 And I know that you appreciate the soul of the car. And I would contend that Mozart never wrote a symphony. That's as beautiful as a Ferrari V-12 at 7,000 RPM. And I don't want to feel like I'm driving on Noralco. Santa did back in the 60s. I saw it. Yes, he did. Right.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Yes, he did. Right. But I don't know. I think it's a cultural shift. or perhaps generational. When you or Pat or I were growing up, there was a great mystery. There was a wanderless to America.
Starting point is 00:50:26 And maybe when I was working with Alpha on the IndyCar project, when I would spend as much time as I did in Italy, it was like smaller. Everything was more compacted. And then the technicians and the engineers, we would come over here for the series, they were astonished at the scope and the size of America. And they kind of went, now we're starting to get it. They're starting to understand.
Starting point is 00:50:57 And I just, every time I get into an EV, the first thing, even before I get into it, I'm thinking about what's my range. And that's even been assigned to psychosis now because everything has spent. Range anxiety is what that's called. So why this big push? Why are these car companies? You told me that the after 10 years of just constant selling EVs, the demand is still around 3%. Yeah, if you, it isn't, and if you put in all of the different variants of electrics, it's going to be a tick higher than that.
Starting point is 00:51:44 But the pure ones, yeah, they've got a lot of work to do because they've got a lot of marketing work to do on top of that. You've got a car that's more expensive initially when you walk through the door, then the proponents would say, well, Yeah, but I'm not going to spend as much as I am. So are all of the car company people, are they all for the EV? Are they, are the CEOs and, I mean, these should be car guys? Yeah, publicly or privately. There's two different answers. There's two different answers to that question.
Starting point is 00:52:24 Okay. Private. Yeah, privately, you know, and they're going, oh, what a bottle of Advil this is. And, you know, they have to meet what's going on from the government agendas that are out there. You've got California, which is out of control and has been out of control since the 70s really on their emissions, demands on the industry. All of the emission stuff that we have on cars in all 50 states basically run off of, standards and demands that are emplaced by the California Air Resources Board CARB.
Starting point is 00:53:10 And they sell about 40%, 35, 40% of all cars in the United States. So it's very difficult for a manufacturer to make two different versions of cars. They're not going to make it California compliant. They tried that in the beginning, and it really didn't work. So when California, says we're not going to take any more combustion engines as of what? I think they said 2030. That means,
Starting point is 00:53:39 2035, that means the car companies can't make two different kinds, so they're just going to make what California wants, right? Yeah, exactly. That's insane. Of course it's insane. And privately, when I'll meet with executives and have dinner or cocktails after dinner or something like that,
Starting point is 00:54:00 I'll say, man, this is tough, but, you know, what are we going to do? There are execs in the industry that are starting to turn. There are even now countries who are starting to turn. If they were right up the road from you there at Toyota, where they're headquartered in North America, they're building a blend of vehicles. They're saying, hey, we are buying this. total EV conversion thing as, you know, it's not going to take the way that everybody thinks
Starting point is 00:54:41 it's going to take. The goals and the standards are being set up by bureaucrats who have zero idea of how the automobile industry works or really how business works for that matter. So it's really tough to pick an arbitrary number. So you hang on, you have other car companies, but you don't seem to have American car companies doing that. It's almost like we're just killing ourselves on this. You have, you know, Dodge is making the ultimate engine. I mean, this is the golden era of muscle cars. And it's over.
Starting point is 00:55:25 And it's over. It's crazy. I went to the briefing on that car. Glenn is talking about the Demon 117, which is the last call edition of this muscle car from Dodge. And they announced 1,025 horsepower. And me with gasoline in my veins, I said, oh, sure. So you couldn't get 10205 horsepower. out of it. What a bunch of slackers.
Starting point is 00:56:01 Yeah, I mean, you've got some wonderful cars out there right now. They're making, I mean, look at how successful they've been with the Demon series when it first came out at 700 horsepower. 707, what it was. And then they said, hold my beer. Watch what we're going to do here. Are they able to go back or you kick the door? When you stop making these engines.
Starting point is 00:56:26 You know, it's a multi, you know, Dodges isn't Dodge anymore. Dodge isn't, you know, a Detroit-based place. You know, it's Stalantis now. So you've got large European influences in there. And you're going to start seeing a lot of the global platforms that are being used for cars that we're going to see here in America. Heck, that the demon that you're talking about, the car that we're talking about here with a thousand, 225 horsepower, originated as an E-series Mercedes back two owners ago.
Starting point is 00:57:14 Chrysler, you know, it was even before. Yeah, it bought them. And that was a Daimler product at that point. Wow. Paul, thank you so much. I think we are just headed for, we're already in Crazy Town. But when you talk about getting rid of, get there fast. I know, a little faster.
Starting point is 00:57:37 We've got a lot of horsepower currently. Paul, thank you so much. I appreciate it. You're most welcome. You bet. Paul Brian. You can follow him on Twitter at the Paul Brian. Knows an awful lot about cars.
Starting point is 00:57:50 And it will take us. years, years, decades to flip this fleet over. And yet, what are we doing? I mean, I can see them. Do you know that they are talking now about a new carbon fuel? This is, let me look this up real quick. They, the new carbon fuel that is being made in Italy and Germany, they're saying that they want exceptions to make an internal,
Starting point is 00:58:22 combustion engine, but they are working on a new fuel that works like gasoline or diesel. And it will have zero emissions. Currently, it's at $45 a gallon. But, you know, if that's, I mean, if that's a problem for you, you shouldn't be driving anyway, really. It's currently at $45 a gallon, but they say by 2026, it could be. down to eight, which is, you know, that puts you on par with Europe. So, and wasn't it Barack Obama who said you'd be paying eight or $10 a gallon for gas? Yeah, it was.
Starting point is 00:59:03 Congratulations. Here we are. There's some things your dog definitely doesn't need the royal treatment for. For instance, don't put him in yoga pants and have them work out with you. Stop it. Don't sneak your dog into the theater to see John Wick. He doesn't care. he understands the storyline.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Yes, even a dog can understand that storyline, but he doesn't like it. He doesn't like it. Here's an area where you can and should give your dog the royal treatment. The food he eats. Now, the food he eats, you can look at, let's say, kibble food and say, I'm feed him kibble and that's good and it's great cost-wise. But he's not getting the nutrition he needs.
Starting point is 00:59:49 And it might be one of the reasons why he's not eating it. Okay. He's not getting enough out of that kibble food. So this is where Rough Greens comes in. It's a supplement. You sprinkle on the food full of vitamins, minerals, probiotics, antioxidants, things that are going to make your dog healthy and happy. They have a special deal for you.
Starting point is 01:00:07 Go to Roughgreens.com slash back and get your first bag free. It's free. Just pay for shipping. Go to Rough Greens. RUFFF Greens.com slash back or call 8333 Glenn 30. 833, Glenn 33 or RUFF Greens.com slash back.
Starting point is 01:00:24 10 seconds. Station ID. You know, yesterday we played this, and I think it's worth playing again. Do we have cut one from yesterday, John Kerry? He was talking about the Inflation Reduction Act. Now, the Inflation Reduction Act, what do you think that's supposed to reduce, Pat?
Starting point is 01:00:51 Carbon emissions? Exactly right. It is an act that has nothing to do. with inflation has everything to do about fighting climate change. Here's what John Kerry said about the, what is called the IRA, the inflation reduction act. Well, we're doing a lot more than just the IRA. The IRA is a package that in and of itself can get the 40%. But in addition to that, the president is issuing executive orders.
Starting point is 01:01:22 There'll be changes on automobile, on light truck, heavy truck, heavy duty. a number of initiatives that are being taken by states, subnational cities. They really kept us in the game, frankly, during the Trump administration when he pulled out of the agreement. But we've 75% of the new electricity that came online during the Trump administration came from renewable resources. So we have a lot of other options, tools, if you will, in the toolkit besides the IRA. Sure. Sure we do. So, you know, he's got the IRA, the Inflation Reduction Act. Why do we pay attention to these people?
Starting point is 01:02:01 Why do we listen to these experts who tell us? That's an honest question. I'd like an answer. Why do we continue to listen to the experts? Pat, can you name an expert that the media has touted in the last 15 years that has been correct? Oh, absolutely not. On anything. No.
Starting point is 01:02:24 No. The war. Inflation? Inflation. The economy. Right. At all? What's, what the experts tell us what's causing school shootings?
Starting point is 01:02:36 Nope. Experts are designing new gun regulations. Will that work? Nope. Experts tell us what. What? What do they tell us that has been right? We're living in Woodrow.
Starting point is 01:02:54 Wilson's utopia right now. We are a managed society, and that never works. That never, ever, ever works. But this is what Woodrow Wilson wanted, an all-powerful administrative state that would just make the laws. Remember, in his favorite book, which was about the administrative state, he read it two times. And it was his favorite book. He wanted everybody to read it. You should read it. It's an awful book. But it talks about how eventually you just get rid of the constitution. You get rid of all the state
Starting point is 01:03:32 constitutions and you don't need the legislative arm anymore because you just have the best managers. And what's great is you don't know the names of any of the real managers. It's all middle management. And middle management's great, isn't it? Don't you just love middle management? Oh, man, if I could just live in a country run by middle managers.
Starting point is 01:04:00 Oh, I think we'd be fixed. Well, they are fixing us, kind of in the way vets fix animals, but they are fixing us. That's for, that's for sure. Coming up just a second, standby. More 888-727 BECK, AAA 727 Beck. The school shooting yesterday, apparently, because Tennessee banned gender surgery.
Starting point is 01:04:26 So you don't want shootings. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Would you say that if somebody shot up a whole bunch of kids because of high taxes? Would you be like, see, you shouldn't pass any high taxes? Oh my gosh, these people. Completely out of touch and experts.
Starting point is 01:04:46 The Glenn Beck Program. Look, if you're tired of staring at the back of your eyes, You're fully awake. Just please, Lord, let me get some sleep or the sweet release of death here soon, please. I can't take the pain anymore. If you're tired of being exhausted every day, then could I ask you just to try relief factor? Would you do it? I know I've talked about it for a long time.
Starting point is 01:05:15 There is relief factor, the pain medication. And now, if you just can't get to sleep, try relief factor sleep. It's amazing. Relief factor. Just like the stuff you take for pain, relief factor sleep is 100% drug-free. It's a blend of natural ingredients designed to promote healthy sleep by reducing anxiety, distress, improving mood, promoting relaxation. It's great.
Starting point is 01:05:43 I take it a couple times a week. Unleash the power of great sleep by calling 800 the number four relief. 800 the number four relief. Call it now. At blazedtv.com, promo code will not be censored.
Starting point is 01:06:19 Hey, uh, you know, no big deal, nothing to, NASA just spotted a gaping black region on the sun. the so-called coronal hole. I like that. Shut your coronal hole. I mean, it's not really a hole. Which is good. Yeah. Which is good.
Starting point is 01:06:43 A hole in the sun might be a problem. Hole in the sun would be bad. Would be bad. Okay. So it's not a hole in the sun. It's just a really large region much cooler than the rest of the sun. I wonder if we could build hotels there. And it appears to be black.
Starting point is 01:07:03 And they're saying that it's going to speed up the solar winds, which are crazy this time of year. They really are. You know, those solar winds. I get outside and I'm like, ooh, that solar wind. And the agency warned of minor to moderate geomagnetic storms as a result, which are really... Those are fun. You like those? They're fun, yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:28 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What was the last geomagnetic storm that you were in? And what was that like, Pat? I think it was... Geomagnetic storms. I think it was about three months ago.
Starting point is 01:07:39 Three months ago, really? Yeah, they were just standing there. Right. Outside my house and these geomagnetic winds. It blew right past me. Right. Is there any rain with that? Like 3,500 miles an hour.
Starting point is 01:07:53 Wow, that is crazy. It almost knocked me down. So those were the solar winds, though. Those have nothing to do. Or do they come with the geomagnetic storms? Yes. Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:03 All right. They do. So the hole is kind of super massive. It's 300 to 400,000 kilometers across, which could be the size of a ruler or, you know, the-we have no idea because metric measurement just doesn't. No idea. Doesn't work for Americans. No, no. I think that's a lot, but it could be 12 miles.
Starting point is 01:08:26 So it's actually the size of 30 Earths. Now, that's hard to imagine because you don't really think of the Earth as like I'm standing outside looking at it. Like you do with your car. You know, how many cars would that be? We can imagine that. 20 to 30 Earths. This is the distance between Earth and the moon, which takes us, what, three days to travel? Yeah, about that. But we're traveling now 55 miles an hour to save fuel. So it takes about three days to get, you know, with a rocket.
Starting point is 01:09:06 Mm-hmm. You know. Going 17,000 miles an hour. Yeah, that's fast. That's fast. In kilometers? No idea. It's like 80. Yeah, I think. I don't know. Or, or eight million. It could be 80 or eight million. I don't know if it's more or less. I, you know, you go up into Canada and they're like 85, you know, kilometers an hour. and you're like, what's that all about? Yeah. Is it 120 or 40? Don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:09:35 So I only know I should slow down when I see a little Canadian school bus. Then I'm like, ah, we might be in a school zone. Right. If they have those up here still. I'm not sure they do. But it's a good thing. There's a picture because I don't read Canadian. Do you?
Starting point is 01:09:52 No, I don't speak it. I don't read it. No. The pictures help. but it's nice, you know. Yeah. They don't have the school signs anymore. It's more of an indoctrination camp.
Starting point is 01:10:03 So that's good. Just, you know, I want to share this story. It came out yesterday and I wasn't going to share it. But the theme on today's program is, well, I mean, if you were judging just by the last story, we're all going to die. But that is, that's yesterday's episode or Friday's episode. Today's episode is we're all going to die if we don't start speaking the truth. Now, I've done this for almost 50 years now. I've been sitting behind a microphone since I was 13 years old.
Starting point is 01:10:43 And I have never read these words put together in this order. a transgender individual that identifies as a female reportedly broke down in tears after being punched in the testicles by a TSA agent. You've never read that before? I've never read that before. No, I was not aware. I read that three times last week alone. Did you really? In separate incidents.
Starting point is 01:11:15 Yeah. Wow. Yeah. Punched in the, a woman punched in the testicles. Okay. TSA, that's a quote, TSA agent at JFK airport, punched me in the genitalia,
Starting point is 01:11:29 yelled at me, this is a woman, yelled at me for having a penis. Okay. Now I'm trying to imagine this scene where the TSA agent is like, why do you have that penis? That's not going anywhere.
Starting point is 01:11:45 You know better to bring that penis through this line. What? I mean, how were they yelling? I would like to know. the details. You're getting yelled at for having a penis. Yeah, that's not really well explained in the article. Now, it could be, I'm just trying to use something, and I'm old-timey, something called logic and reason. It could be that maybe the TSA officer was a woman frisking and was a little
Starting point is 01:12:14 surprise. That's either a pipe bomb or something I'm. I don't want to be touching. Yeah. And that would be like, if that's not a pipe bomb, what the hell are you doing in my line? Right? Yes. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:12:34 So, anyway, this person sobbed in the stall because my testicles hurt so bad. I think. Well, if you got punched in the testicles by a TSA agent. As a woman? Yeah. You'd probably be crying in the bathroom stall yourself. Well, women are always crying in the bathroom stalls. Is it because we've accidentally punched them in the testicles?
Starting point is 01:13:04 I think in most cases, the answer to that is no. Is no. Huh. Yeah. Okay, I didn't, you know, I don't want to. Right. You don't want to assume too much. Right.
Starting point is 01:13:16 I mean, how do I know that there aren't a lot of women, the vast majority of women, that have penises? We don't know that. Right? There's no way to tell. No way to tell. No way to tell. And I would just, again, I'm old fashion, but I'd say a woman with a penis and testicles is a man. Wait, what? What kind of hate? Are you preaching here today? No, I know. I know the audience is in shock and they're like, what? Yeah. But I'm going to go out and say, Glenn, you're mongering in hate. That's what they're saying That's what they're saying, but I say, no, I'm mongering in the truth.
Starting point is 01:13:56 Wow. Yeah. That wasn't actually a female. So you would call yourself a truth monger? A truth mongererer. Yeah, mongering the truth. That's what I do. That's on my business card.
Starting point is 01:14:08 Oh. Yeah. Wow. Mongering for truth. You know, and then it just says local times, check your local listings. Okay. Right underneath that. But that's what my business card says.
Starting point is 01:14:21 So I'm doing that. Now, I'm going to do it again. I'm going to do it again. Okay? Now, this is going to be crazy. All right. But listen to this insane headline. Top Fed official.
Starting point is 01:14:36 Silicon Valley Bank. Mismanagement led to failure. No. What? No, wait a minute. Wait a minute here. Because they had a risk officer. Remember the risk officer that was like,
Starting point is 01:14:51 Hey, it's pretty risky if you don't like trans. And that person was doing trans parties and all kinds of, you know, all kinds of things on risky behavior. And, you know, didn't have anything to do with the banking community. But they had that risk manager there. And apparently, according to the Fed, that's not the risk they should have been looking at. Huh. They said a picture has emerged that shows SVB had inadequate risk management and internal controls. Huh.
Starting point is 01:15:30 Now, they figured that out already? Yeah, they figured it out. Normally that would take years of an analysis. Well, they have the FBI on it, I'm sure. Okay. You know what I mean? That would help. Because they get down to things.
Starting point is 01:15:41 They sure do. Lickety split. So they got that. So that's the picture that is emerging now, that maybe this bank was mismanaged. And it's good that we taught all of them the really important lesson, Hey, that happens to everybody. Here's some cash. Let's move on.
Starting point is 01:16:01 It can happen in a blink of an eye. One minute you're living your everyday normal life, doing the laundry, washing the dishes, you know, going through the drive-through, lunch break, you know. Next minute, mushroom cloud. I mean, Pat, how many times does that happen? Three times to me last week alone. Really? Along with it, were they connected to the testicle thing?
Starting point is 01:16:23 Yes. Wow. I'm not sure how, but I'm pretty sure they were connected. That is pretty amazing. Anyway, maybe it's not a mushroom cloud. I can't imagine what else it would be that would say, hey, maybe we should grab some stuff and get into the car, you know. But right now, if no matter what you're. emergency is, mushroom cloud or, I don't know, flood, you can knock $200 off the popular three-month
Starting point is 01:16:55 emergency food kit. May I suggest some iodine tablets and, you know, and some emergency food, just saying, 2,000 calories a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drink, snacks. This is something that I really urge you to take advantage of because things I who am I to say I think things might get dicey coming up yeah yeah I know things seem really really stable right now but they could turn on a dime and all of a sudden you could be living in a country that you're like I don't recognize any sort of reality I know I know women just punch yourself in the testicles you'll wake up MyPatriotsupply.com. Go there now.
Starting point is 01:17:42 Mypatriotsupply. The Glenn Beck Program. Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program. Pat Gray sitting in for Stu today. Yes. Yes, I am in fact. That is, wow. And you're not in the Hall of Fame.
Starting point is 01:18:17 No, not yet. Not yet. But with more insight like that, I think I soon will be. I think you're going to be turning that around. How could they deny me? I am. I would be voting for you right now. Are you now? I am. Is that true? Yes, it is. Because you're in it? I think it's kind of like the Academy Awards, right? You get, when you get an Academy Award, you're the person that can vote. And so you're like, I don't want them in my club. Wow. So I don't want you at my club. All right. So I vote against all my, all my friends, you know, because I want to be. Because you want to be there exclusively. Yeah, I want to be there exclusively. Say, see, you couldn't make it. Did you read about the Vermont Christian High School that's now being punished?
Starting point is 01:18:58 A couple of weeks ago, their girls' basketball team would not compete against a team with a biological male on it. Right. So they said, okay, well, then you can't participate in any more basketball tournaments. Well, now the Vermont Athletics Association got together and decided that that school, the mid-Vermont Christian school, can't compete in any state tournaments at all, in any sport. So they're just done now, I guess, as a school. Yeah, and good for them, good for them. I know.
Starting point is 01:19:37 To stick to that? Yeah, good. No, no, no. I mean, for the Vermont school board. I mean, what else could happen? Here's Joy Reid yesterday on the school shootings. Got three. In the state of Tennessee, which, you know, ironically, is the Scopes Monkey Trial state,
Starting point is 01:19:51 right? where they used to have a law against teaching evolution in public high schools, in public schools. They now are racing to enact these First Amendment limiting laws to limit things like drag shows. You have rampant book banning. I think Tennessee might be the most aggressive book banning state even more so than Florida. And so they're essentially saying it's too dangerous to allow children to be exposed to a drag show. A drag queen is as dangerous to children. These books are dangerous to children.
Starting point is 01:20:19 But when it comes to guns, they're like, no, put more guns where children are. It is an irony that's hard to get away from during this time of moral panic over books, history, and drag shows. Yeah. So she's blaming, you know, any of the trans laws. So I would, hmm. Hmm. So you would say that if I came out against higher taxes and then somebody went and, shot something up because they didn't like the higher taxes that Biden was putting it.
Starting point is 01:20:55 That would be okay with you? It's the way we solve things. It's all right. You would blame the gun, not the person. Okay. I just want to remember that. Just trying to get the ground rules. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:07 Yeah. And ground rules, B.C. Here's ABC cut two on the shooting. Audrey Hale, said she's a former student of the school and confirmed that Audrey Hill was identified herself as a transgender person. State of Tennessee earlier this month passed and the governor signed a bill that
Starting point is 01:21:31 banned transgender medical care for minors as well as a law that prohibited adult entertainment including male and female impersonators after a series of drag show controversies in that state. So it's no wonder. There's no wonder they did that. Who wouldn't go in and shoot up a school? Yeah. You know, if that was going on.
Starting point is 01:21:51 Totally justified, apparently. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So. Wow. And, of course, here's Joe Biden walking into the room yesterday to make this. Sollum.
Starting point is 01:22:02 This is going to, you might weep over this. My name is Joe Biden. I'm Dr. Joe Biden's husband. And I ate Jenny's ice cream, chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream. By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs. I think I'm kidding. I'm not.
Starting point is 01:22:24 No, I think you're a buffoon. Yeah, no, he's got a tight five that he does before any kind of announcements of any Oh, okay. Any kind of shootings or anything. So he does a five-minute comedy routine. Yeah, I mean, but it is a tight five. It's a tight five right into that. Right into the audience up.
Starting point is 01:22:42 Six death shooting. Yeah, it is really, really good. Yeah, that's great. And then he goes right into, we got to stop gun violence. We got to stop gun violence. violence. And then he does another three minutes on ice cream and he's out. And the crowd loves it. A crowd
Starting point is 01:22:56 loves it. That's a tight show. It is. It is. I mean, not a lot of presidents can do that. I mean, he'll never run over the five or the three. No. No. No. No. It doesn't matter how many people were killed tragically. He just goes in and he does it. He's a machine. So it could have been an entire subdivision of people. Yeah. Doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Yeah. Doesn't matter.
Starting point is 01:23:16 Yeah. Doesn't matter. He'll just do that. Stick to the eight minutes of comedy. Yeah. Of ice cream. I mean, cutting edge stuff. Uh, you know, progressive, dare I say. The Glenn Back Program. We'll say, in the phone, all the world can be a guy of the finance.
Starting point is 01:23:32 Not to have a gross monger in or to play to golf, or to be a pro of the crypto. Not even, no, you have always done of these affairs. And the apply,

Starting point is 01:23:58 What you're about is the Glenn Back program. Hello, America, I just got some breaking news from CBS News. I'll give it to you in 60 seconds. Stand by. It is time to seriously consider how prepared you are for financial hard times. Could be the most fiscally responsible person. person out there. You always made the right choices with your money. You never took risks. You invested wisely. You've got the money to be. Then the recession hits. And then you're,
Starting point is 01:25:13 you're still floating. And then you lose your shirt because in the end, this whole thing is nothing but a sham. Going down through history, we have seen this happen to people time and time again. That's why I urge you. In the strongest of terms to look at investing in precious metals, not a whole bunch, maybe 10%. You know, it could be silver, gold, whatever it is. Consider please investing in something that will hold value while they devalue your dollar. This week, Goldline is extending their self-directed IRA promotion. Receive 6% of free metals delivered directly to your door with a qualifying or
Starting point is 01:26:03 order, 6% of free metals, 401k, Roth, IRA, traditional IRA, TSP account, simple IRA, and more. Just call them. 866 Goldline, 866 Goldline or Goldline.com. Okay, just breaking news. This just came in at the top of the hour to me. Update from CBS News. Police identified the suspect as 28-year-old. Audrey Hale, who they shot and killed at the scene. CBS News is still working to confirm Hale's gender identity. Good luck with that. How are you going to be able to tell?
Starting point is 01:26:50 That's the way it is. This is what CBS News and all the other journalists are chasing their tale about today. Was she a girl or was she a boy? She was a girl. Now, I don't want to be hateful, but she's dead. So it's not like I'm hurting her feelings. This is the problem with our society. Has anybody at CBS News decided to look into why we have four, four mass shooters now?
Starting point is 01:27:28 Colorado Spring Shooter, identified as non-binary. Denver shooter, identified as trans, Aberdeen shooter, identify as trans, Nashville, identified as trans. Anybody in the newsroom want to look into that? Or do you need more? There is a sickness. It is not the guns.
Starting point is 01:27:53 It is mental illness that is causing these things. And you don't have to be trans to be mentally ill. You don't have to be a bad guy to be mentally. ill. Mental illness is real. Going in and looking at eight and nine year olds and plotting to kill them is a mental illness. It is a mental illness. There is something so rotten at the core. What do you suppose that could be? Now, it could be many things. Just chemical. mental illness. Sometimes people are predisposed to mental illness.
Starting point is 01:28:42 Okay, we could find that out by talking to mom. All right, might be that. Could be that she had some sort of problem growing up, and she wasn't comfortable in her body. And all of the answers, because all of the medical people in her life and all the school people in her life were probably, telling her, yeah, you're probably a guy. And so she identified as a guy and she didn't get any happier.
Starting point is 01:29:14 Could be that she identified as a guy and she was happier, except people were telling her that there is a liquidation, a literal genocide that is going on. And she felt she had to do something about it. by the way, I mean, I hate to point this out. I'm sure the, you know, media is, is all on top of this. But there was a take action day that was scheduled this week. Revenge Day, specifically for the trans community. One Democratic supporter and co-founder of this movement was
Starting point is 01:30:01 actually paying for people to get gun, uh, gun training. Now, if you're doing vengeance and training for guns, I don't know. There might be something to that. Our friends at the Daily Wire, our prayers are with you. Daily Wire was mentioned by Trans Revenge Day or Vengeance Day. Okay. Great. Great. Could be that. You know what? It wasn't the gun. Definitely not that. It was something inside of this girl.
Starting point is 01:30:50 It was either a chemical imbalance that she was born with that confused her on the truth. Or it's this freaking sick society. that is doing it. My bet is the society. But I could easily be convinced that it was the society that pushes sick individuals even deeper and in the wrong direction. But maybe that's just me. I mean, I have always, always given the, the, left the benefit of the doubt in any of these shooters. When a guy tried to kill half of Congress
Starting point is 01:31:50 by killing all of the Republican congressmen on a baseball field and he was a Bernie Sanders supporter and he stated he wanted to kill all the Republicans, I still said, this is a person with mental illness. They've never given us the benefit of the doubt on the other. other side. I always do. You have four trans people that have just done multiple shootings. Okay. You have four, four multiple shooters. Now, I'm sorry, but that's such a small slice of the population that you shouldn't have four of them on anything, except maybe, I don't know, story hour. It libraries. You don't have a statistic about mass shooters and have four of one category.
Starting point is 01:32:53 Something's wrong. Something's wrong. And you know what the press will say is a response to things like this? They'll say it's my bigotry and my hatred of trans. I don't care. I really don't care. Call yourself whatever you want. Are you happy?
Starting point is 01:33:09 Are you a better person because of it? Are you moving forward? Are you being more peaceful? Good. Then I'm fine. You know, if you're trying to shove anything down my throat, right or left, from religion to transgenderism, shut the hell up. Shut up. I don't have to listen to you. I'm not going to accept something because somebody else tells me to.
Starting point is 01:33:39 That's not the way the world works. That is fascism. but they're going to say that things like this, I'm only saying this because of my hatred. I don't have any hatred. You know what I hate? I hate lies. I hate the constant lying from everyone in the press, everyone in politics, it seems, everyone at this White House, all of its supporters. I'm sick and tired of the medical industry telling us.
Starting point is 01:34:13 me about raccoon dogs and lying in such an insidious way. Put a report out, but don't put any of the, don't put any of the facts out. Don't make sure you don't have any of the real sciencey stuff in there because you'll get caught. Put it out and then pull it off real quick. Make sure that somebody like the Atlantic. Atlantic, are you at any point? Is it? anyone in the media ever going to be, are you ever going to be offended that they think you're so dumb and they used you as a front? Or at some point, I have to assume, you were part of it. Because they've lied to you so many times, a normal human being would go, okay, I'm not listen to you anymore. And in fact, I'm going to expose you because you told me this. I put my
Starting point is 01:35:16 reputation on the line and you were lying and you knew that they were lying. I'm not listening to you anymore, but they keep listening. They keep listening. Don't listen to these so-called experts. What is happening to our children right now is dangerous. It is confusing our children. Our children are innocent. They are ripping the innocence away from our children. And you know what? frustrates me so much. I think about this almost all the time. Almost all the time. I'll be off doing something else and I'll see something or, you know, news will come in or whatever.
Starting point is 01:36:11 And almost always the first time is, what hell happened to people? What happened to people? Where are they? What? Why don't they see them? this. Why won't they see this? Why do they refuse to open their eyes? Is it because you're afraid? If you open up your eyes, it will mean that you have to open up your mouth and you're afraid of losing your job? It will be the greatest thing you've ever done. Mark my words, to lose your job
Starting point is 01:36:52 because you stand for the truth. Be the greatest thing. thing. Have no fear. Have no fear. Or is it because if you admit to yourself now that it was wrong, you've yelled at so many people and condemned so many people that you don't think that you can be forgiven by those people? Or maybe you don't want to admit you're wrong? I don't know what it is, but those are all lies. Whatever that is, that's a lie. The truth will set you free. But do we even recognize the truth anymore? Do you know, 1998, 1998, when they took poll and said, what's an important attribute to an American, to be an American?
Starting point is 01:37:46 70% said patriotism. The love of country. There's nothing wrong with the love of country. In 2019, they had whittled that away to 61%. but that's 1998 to 2019, 70 to 61%. Loss of nine points. From 2019 to today, we've gone from 61 to 38%. 38%. Same time period. Religion.
Starting point is 01:38:23 Important as an attribute to America. Religion. 62% in 98, 48, 48% in 19, and 39% today. Having children, 59% in 1998, now 43, I'm sorry, 2019, 43, now it's 30%. Only 30% of people think that having children is important. Let me tell you something. I didn't want to have children. Gee, how many times have you heard me say that, Pat?
Starting point is 01:39:00 I didn't want children. When I first got married, I didn't want any children. I had two children. Then I got divorced, and then I got married again, and she wanted to have children. And I'm like, I don't want to have children. I've already got two children. I don't want more children. I have two children.
Starting point is 01:39:15 Do you know it takes years to be able to get wisdom like this? There is nothing more important in my life than my children. it is the only thing that gives me true joy is my children and my family. It's what we were sent here to do, to have children and cherish them and raise them. And now 30%, 30%. What the hell is happening to your country? What is not happening to your country? What is happening to you as a human being?
Starting point is 01:39:57 What is more important than the family? Is it your job? Do you think, I mean, maybe Americans just don't ask this question anymore. Why was I sent here? What is my purpose? Was my purpose of life to get a good job and to buy a car and have a house in a certain neighborhood? Is that the meaning of my life? What a colossal waste of time?
Starting point is 01:40:29 how meaningless is that? Is the meaning of my life to just sit here and endure all things? Just to endure them and just say, I'm not saying anything about it. I don't care what they do to me. I don't care. I just don't want to be, I don't want to be, you know,
Starting point is 01:40:51 pointed out as an oddball. Jeez. And by the way, important American attributes, 1998, 31% said money. In 1941% said money. Today, 43% say money. More in a minute.
Starting point is 01:41:19 You know, if I could work at a company that wasn't this company, I would want to find one that has meaning. That's more than just my job. You can go and find meaning, let's say, at a phone. company and you know it's a mobile company and you can be like I we're doing the best out there but is that really what is this what we were sent here for just to make the best sell service I think that's part of it the other part is making the world a better place making the world a friendlier place making the world a safer place standing up for things that really truly matter.
Starting point is 01:42:04 In the end, how many lives have you saved when it comes to any life, any human life, comes to abortion? Have you done anything on that? Because that stuff
Starting point is 01:42:18 is the kind of stuff that matters. Patriot Mobile is a phone company that does that. They stand up, and they stand up for freedoms that you and I understand through the Bill of Rights. They're not a woke,
Starting point is 01:42:32 company and their customer service team is all American and they are great. You'll get great service, great product, a better price. You'll save money and your money will be put to work with people who are fighting for things that are right and good. Patriotmobile.com slash Beck. Patriotmobile.com slash Beck. This is a baby step. Starting point is 01:42:58 878 Patriot, 878 Patriot, or Patriot mobile. dot com slash Beck. Ten seconds. Station ID. You know, we talked about the big revelation of CBS News trying to nail down the gender of the shooter. Very important. Police Chief John Drake also said, we have a manifesto, we have a booklet that shows exactly what she planned to do. We have maps that show the entry point into the school, the weapons that were going to be used, the clothing she was going to wear, had drawn it up, almost like a cartoon character. It was exactly what she had,
Starting point is 01:43:49 exactly what she had on during this incident. If they had all of this information, and this was a straight white guy, what would they be talking about today? We would see the manifesto. We would know everything it said. If this was a MAGA supporter, can you even imagine how they'd be handling this?
Starting point is 01:44:12 But now they're just trying to figure out what gender this person is. It's really. Like that is important. Amazing. At what point? I mean, to find out, the person is dead. Yeah. Who cares?
Starting point is 01:44:25 Forget about the, the trans part of it. Yeah. If it was a girl or a boy, a male or a female, and those were the only two choices, which they are, if it was male or female, would it matter? They're dead. But the killer was Kelly. Is that an I or a why? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:44:50 Why does it matter? Mm-hmm. It wouldn't matter. If you're trying to understand it, if you're trying to understand the killer, okay, then maybe that plays a role. What causes a woman who has a natural affinity, naturally born for children,
Starting point is 01:45:08 not everybody has it, but what causes them to kill? Okay. But this is all about not misnaming, not saying she wanted to be identified as a his. Him. Who cares what they wanted to be identified as? They were clearly a sick individual. The Glenn Beck Program.

Starting point is 01:46:51 or anytime and anywhere you get your podcast. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. We're glad you're here. So much, so much going on today. But I think the real story for me is the six people that were killed. three children in the Tennessee school shooting. And the ridiculousness of the coverage of it, it's still a school shooting. People are still dead. But apparently it's not as big of a story as the gender.
Starting point is 01:47:42 And does the discussion about transgenderism, did that cause this person to go shoot children? Well, I don't care if, you know, if you're on my side of any issue. You're not a righteous individual. You're not helping anything. You're nothing but a cold-blooded killer if you go in and start shooting people, let alone children. But look how the media is treating this. And they're spending so much time today when the answer is clear. clear. What is the, what's the biggest problem with our country, Pat? It's the biggest problem.
Starting point is 01:48:29 Progressivism. It's the root. Wokeism. Right. What, what, what allows that to take root? Inaction on our part? I would say if you're looking at the root, the root is a either misunderstanding or an apathy to the fundamental principles of the individual and freedom and individual freedom, individual freedom, individual success, individual failure, all of the things outlined in our Constitution, all the things that are outlined, quite honestly, in the scriptures.
Starting point is 01:49:10 This is not our freedom to lose. God gave us the rights. We then gave it to a government to protect those rights. the government is losing our rights. Imagine, you know, it's like anything. You, let's say, a friend loans me their brand new car. And I would never do this. But, I mean, assuming I would even say, oh, yeah, okay, it's your brand new car.
Starting point is 01:49:38 You love it. Yeah, let me drive it for a few days. If I did. And then I said, hey, Pat, this is really important. This is my friend's brand new car. will you, you run to the store and take that car? How irresponsible am I? Now, if Pat has all kinds of layers of protection around him, he's like a super great driver.
Starting point is 01:50:06 He's super slow. He's like, I don't want to take that car. That's too much. Okay. Then I'm probably a little more apt to let him drive. But once he has the keys in his hands, if I find out, he's cornering at 60 miles an hour. He's driving recklessly.
Starting point is 01:50:23 Drinking. Drinking. I, you know, I say, give me the car back. This belongs to my friend. I should have never given it to you. Why aren't we doing that? Oh, it's different this time. It's government.
Starting point is 01:50:36 No, it's not. It's the same principle. You know, it used to be that we believed in things that were enduring. I was at a great concert by the millennial choir and orchestra yesterday in Dallas. If they come to town, make sure you see it. They're doing their spring concert. Usually it's closer to Easter, but they have so many cities they're doing called I am so blessed. It's unbelievable.
Starting point is 01:51:16 It's absolutely unbelievable what this choir. an orchestra does. It's like 400 voices, kids that are probably four or five all the way up to old people, all volunteer. And it is one of the most incredible concerts. I've never been, have you ever been to a concert where you see a standing ovation in the middle of the concert? Usually people wait, right? You know, you give it at the end. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Have you ever seen it where somebody gets it in the middle? I don't think so. Three in the middle.
Starting point is 01:51:52 Three in the middle. Okay. Just remarkable. And I'm walking out and it's this big, you know, Dallas, fine arts, whatever. And I see all these names carved in stone that donated for that opera house or whatever it was. And I thought to myself, huh, huh, would you give money? like that to anything today that you think anything is is that solid in anything? Because I don't. I don't know what institutions remain. I mean, we make it. There is society on the other side. I just don't know
Starting point is 01:52:38 what it looks like right now. And that's a little terrifying because we used to think that things were eternal. Truths were eternal. Now we just think, no, truth is whatever you think it is. No, that's not truth. That's whatever you think. This is an American crisis, except we have spread this crisis all over the world. All over the world. The pursuit of truth is so lost now because there are people telling you there is no truth. Gang, there has to be truth.
Starting point is 01:53:25 Mathematics is racist. Well, mathematics is racist. Well, mathematics, as racist as it was, brought people to the moon. Now, I don't think you're ever-changing truth is going to work out the calculations that will get you anywhere close to the moon. I don't think it gets you off the launching pad. Truth is truth. And truth, like everything else, it depends on how you deal with it. You know, eventually truth will come home.
Starting point is 01:54:02 It will come home. it's going to come home and it's going to oh my gosh when these chickens come home to roost when we have finally completely destroyed truth and we see the results of no truth oh my gosh it's going to come down on you like a bag of bricks it's going to come down on all of us all of us are going to have to pay for this little summer vacation this this uh what tour into never never Neverland. Everything is, they try to make everything easy now. Thomas Payne wrote, tyranny like hell is not easily conquered. Yet we have this consolation with us. That the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. That means it's worth fighting for.
Starting point is 01:55:03 It's worth standing for. It's worth searching for anything that has value cost you something. We are the most selfish, ungrateful. We all deserve to be slapped across the face. Look at how we live. Even the poorest among us. Look at how we live. We've been given all of this.
Starting point is 01:55:31 And we are pissing it away. And you know why? Because we're apathetic. I mean, it'll always be this way. It was never this way. Never. Thousands of years of people sitting around a fire. And then suddenly, in 200 years, we're standing on the moon.
Starting point is 01:55:55 Gee, that's weird. Why did that happen? Truth. We are at the crossroads. What we obtain too lightly. What we obtain too cheap, we have steam too lightly. it is dearness only that gives everything its value. Boy, these days are going to have such great value in the days to come
Starting point is 01:56:39 because they will not be as plentiful. Will you just today just start saying, I will not tolerate lies anymore. I won't take my life for granted. I will protect the purpose. principles that I know to be true. And if I don't know they're true, I'm going to search for them. The American crisis that we face today is the test of our collective will. As individuals, as individuals, will we find the truth and then unite with others who have found the truth?
Starting point is 01:57:25 And in love and in hope and in faith, return to those principles and live by them. Will we be resolute in our defense of the truth, even when it hurts our own side? Will we be resolute and relentless in our commitment to justice? Will we adopt an unwavering belief in the power of God and the power of the American people to overcome any challenge? We've done it before. We just need the one thing that is the only thing that can in the end unite us. And that is the truth. But first, all of us have to want the truth.
Starting point is 01:58:30 And I fear there's too many. I just don't want it. But today, the American crisis can be solved easily. Not cheaply. It will take a great amount of courage and determination. An unshakable faith and freedom will have a whole new chapter. And our days will be much brighter than we could have ever imagined when we come back together. Every chance you get to lock in the price of something that you pay for,
