And it is probably the Supreme Court's decision on whether or not Donald Trump can be on the ballot tomorrow in places like Colorado. So they're given a lot of time, a lot of time. but apparently Colorado took him off the ballot because of Section 3 of the Constitution's Fourth Amendment, 14th Amendment. It says, people are not eligible to serve in government if they engaged in insurrection. Huh.

I want to ask you. Let's just assume that you can just declare somebody guilty of an insurrection. Is there anybody else? Glenn, how are you? Big week this week. A lot going on. Yeah. Super Tuesday. It's tomorrow. So super. State of the Union on Thursday.

That's Thursday. That's Thursday. Wait, you're looking at me like you didn't even realize. No. I course. I mean, I set my whole week up for the state of the union every year. Really?

Everybody loves that. Well, you're expected to be on Blaze TV's coverage, so I do hope that you are. Yes, I do. I am supposed to interview you for it. Really? You should kind of a little nervous that you didn't know was happening. I'm hoping that AI is a little more advanced by Thursday. It has to just generate your interview.

If it doesn't look like me exactly. Like if you have nine fingers on one hand for some reason, we should just assume it's a medical issue. Okay. Yeah. So anyway, so we got that coming up this week. And today we have the Supreme Court coming out and saying whether Donald Trump could be on the ballot or not.

tomorrow. That's a big deal. It's a big deal. Now, I'm, I'm, I'm wondering how, how they're going to put him on the, but didn't they print this without him on the ballot? No, they printed him with him on the ballot, I believe. Okay. So if they say he doesn't have to be on the ballot, then what, I mean, look, is, go to

Kinkos, I don't know, for him to print them. I mean, that's, that's, that should be the least important part of it. They keep acting like this is like, oh, well, these governments just can't turn around reprinting things in a few months. It's like he's already won the primary. Who cares if he's on the primary ballot? He's going to win the primary anyway. That's a little bit of taking the drama away from Super Tuesday tomorrow. But he's basically already won the primary.

So it's really not that important. What's, of course, as important is the general election ballot, which they have plenty of time to print. So they're saying that he can't be on the ballot because of Section 3 of the Constitution's 14th Amendment, says people are not eligible to serve in government. if they are engaged in insurrection. First of all, nobody's charged him with that. I mean, they charged him with, I don't know, making balloon dogs that don't really look like dogs. I mean, they charged him with everything they possibly could.

Nobody's charged him with engaging in insurrection. No, you think, and now they have said it. They've publicly said it, charged it in the colloquial sense, many, many times. And they did it intentionally, right? They immediately used that word over and over and over and over and over again. You mean the media, which is in bed with the deep state and the intelligence community? Yes. So they did that and they did it over and over again because they knew this was one of their outs.

Right. If he decided to run again. And by the way, you'll note that they didn't charge him with any of this stuff until after he started running. But they would have this. No, no. Please don't use the word charged. They didn't charge him with this. They just said this about it.

this at all. But they didn't charge him with anything until he started running. Yes. Right. And so he, they fight, they wait multiple years and then they complain about the Supreme Court delaying. Right. The trial. Right. So, uh, I was just thinking, you know when people were burning the cities down? I do remember that. And Kamala Harris was saying, hey, I'm going to help fund, you know, everybody, everybody gets out of jail. You get out of jail and you get out of jail. She was raising money to bail out the people who did it. Right. And she was supporting BLM, which was calling for the overturning, I believe, of capitalism,

the overturning of the American family was an insurrectionist group. I don't know. Could we say that she engaged in insurrection? Sure. Why not? Everyone is. No, I mean, seriously, though. I mean, if Donald Trump, which I don't know.

How is he engaging in insurrection? If you had him, you know, organizing, you have texts from Donald Trump, organizing the proud boys to go into the Capitol building and overthrow the election, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, all these things they don't have. Well, then you could charge him with insurrection. Correct. They don't have it. That's why they haven't charged him with it. By the way, they didn't even put it in the impeachment. It wasn't even part of the impeachment they ran out there.

They didn't even, like they say it all the time, but they know they don't have it legally. And of course, they would need it legally to take him off the ballot. So what do you think the Supreme Court is going to rule today? Because it's going to come down in probably the next hour. They are going to rule that this is nonsense and his name will be on the ballot. And the question is the over under, let's call it 6.5 votes. Over under 6.5. Do you get a Kagan?

Do you get... No. You're definitely not getting Sotomayor. Forget it. Do you get a Kagan? Do you get a Katanji Brown Jackson? I think it's possible. I think it's...

Now, I will say... Maybe one out of those three, but I don't think so. Yeah, Kagan, maybe. I think it's theoretically possible you can get as high as eight. You cannot get nine because Sotomayor, I can't even imagine Sotomayor taking any stance that does not agree with whatever AOC wishes in the most feverish of her fevering. You mean the justice whose office leaked the... Do you have new information on this?

Oh, no, I don't. I don't know what you... What? It's one of those things that without any evidence, I just believe. History's mysteries. Yes, history. Really, really, really mystery. Yeah, really mystery.

Very hard to figure out which one. You're talking about the... The Dom's decision early, yes. I certainly believe it came from probably Sotomayor directly, but it could have been one of her underling. things. History's mysteries. But that's just speculation, of course.

Allegedly we believe that. But I mean, do you think, because I mean, this, there are two cases that are kind of together on this, which are the, and expected to go reverse ways. The case today says he should be on the ballot and the case that he has immunity, this sort of widespread immunity. Now, my belief is you will get a pro-Trump ruling today. You will get a anti-Trump ruling on the immunity case. And the question is how I think there's an instinct.

And certainly this is a John Roberts type of instinct to try to get these to be real blowouts, 9-0s, 8-1s in the court because it shows you get one on each side. It shows some sort of like unity when it comes to obvious things in their minds. Do you think it's obvious that the president doesn't have immunity for official presidential acts? Yeah, I mean, it's limited immunity. I think you're right. Like the drone strike is obvious. Like he, if he has a drone strike and, you know, he believes as part of our military, you know, again, there's other parts associated with that.

So the drone strike might not be the perfect example. But just to lay it out generally, a military action that he takes is something that I think is obviously within his realm and could not be charged with something where he murdered people on Fifth Avenue, obviously would not be. Correct. Part of that. This falls in the middle, I suppose. I mean, you know, you could certainly make an argument that, you know, arguing for yourself to stay in power after you've lost an election, as this is how they would frame it, making that is not an official act, right? That's something that's helping you. Arguing that you felt that there was real crimes being committed and these crimes, you know, they just need to be investigated.

And this is, of course, how he would frame it. Correct. So, I mean, it depends on where you think they're going to fall in the report. belief and I do not think they're going to fall on Trump's side on that belief. That's my own belief, you know, that's where I think they're going to fall. We'll see. We've got months before this one plays out. The one that's coming out today, I don't think there's any question. I mean, I will be, if he loses it, I will be, well, what about more than stunned? What about the idea that the states are the ones responsible for their elections, not the federal government? Federal

government has nothing to do with it. Which one are we talking about now? The one that you think's coming out today. Well, I mean, I don't think that that. that again, you're talking about a federal issue when it comes to the 14th Amendment. The 14th Amendment. So I think that that's going, look, I, what's I think most fascinating about this. And again, I am highly confident that Trump will prevail here. What's absolutely incredible is how many times we are in this very position where we are predicting nine Supreme Court justices votes. And what is on the other side of that is utter.

chaos. If they were to go the opposite direction on this, it would be national emergency status type of stuff. And we are hours away from this thing coming down. If it goes the wrong way, basically Donald Trump can't win the election. That's basically what is at stake in the next couple of hours. Now, I don't believe we are at any real risk of this. So I am oddly sanguine about this particular. Good word. Thank you. About this. particular period. But like how many times have we stood here or sat here in this particular case? Looking at the Supreme Court as the last line of defense between our country and utter chaos.

That is a terrible place for us to be. This should not be as routine as it is. And honestly, like it would, I mean, you're much more of an expert on whether the country will turn to chaos in the next five minutes. But like, oh, if they say that Donald Trump, that states can take him off the ballot. And they will take him off in many states. Certainly in blue states. There will be chaos on the streets. There will be chaos on the streets.

Even if like, I mean, even if California decides to do it, there's a lot of people in California who really want Donald Trump to win the election and will have their votes basically taken away from it. Well, it won't even be framed as that. It'll be framed as on, on, I think the American side. It will be framed as you don't have a right to choose. Let the people choose. Yep.

That's what a democracy does is the people choose. You say you claim, you lay claim to democracy. Well, the only part of the Democratic Republic, the only part democracy comes in is one man, one vote. If you control who we can vote for, what's the difference between you and Vladimir Mayor Putin. What is the difference? Seriously. I don't know. This and it's so bizarre they're doing it while constantly arguing about how important democracy is. I know. Like this is the only part of the Democratic Republic. This is the only democracy part is the vote they're trying to fix. It's incredible. Like what form of democracy allows you to be the only one listed as an option?

Like that's not demot. That's Saddam Hussein democracy. It is. It is. You know, and I. Well, the same kind of democracy that throws their reporters in jail. It is that type of democracy. The same kind that also show me the man, I'll show you the crime and puts the opponents in jail as well. It's just incredible that they're trying to do this at all because I feel like there used to be. And this is the same thing with a Steve Baker case. You mentioned the reporters being thrown in jail. And we're talking to him later, right? He's on next hour. He's on next hour.

it used to be that when there was a question, when it came to national unity, national, the foundations of what kept us a country, right? Again, these are just pieces of paper. The E pluribus unum. Right. Like, these are documents. You know, a lot of places have constitutions that get overrun every few years

because they don't actually respect them. 17 years is the average length of a world constitution. Right. And here we are 200 plus, right? Almost 250. Almost 250. So you'd think, right, it used to be that when the appearance of that, those things that bind us together were tearing apart, both sides would come and say, wait a minute, guys. Like, all right, like, let's air on the side of not.

This guy, you know, I don't know. I don't even believe he was a journalist. But you know what? He's working at a major conservative outlet. he's criticizing us, like this should be the last thing we do. This is just going to send the signal to half the country that we have absolutely no rule of law anymore. Like the Constitution means nothing. Maybe this is one we skip the misdemeanor charges on.

What's the point of it? What do we get out of it? Chaos. First of all, we're completely lying in this situation. But secondly, what do we get? We get chaos. It's playing into those things instead of trying to disable them. weird that in 2009, I kept saying chaos is going to be the operative word when all of this comes.

Yeah. If you are on the side of chaos, you will be on the wrong side because everyone will be looking for chaos. It's crazy because here it is. All right. Back in just a second with more. 10 seconds. Station ID. So there is a great op-ed by Jonathan Turley about the Blaze writer, Steve Baker, who was arrested on Friday. if you listen to Friday's podcast. Former New York Times writer and now Howard University Journalism Professor Nicole Hannah Jones declared recently, this according to Turley. Have you read this yet?

Yeah, that's great. That journalism is activism. Advocacy journalism is all the rage in journalism schools and on major media platforms. Given that shift in journalism, one would think that these editors and journalists would love Steve Baker. Baker was arrested for covering what he viewed as citizen protests defying the government demanding justice. He did not hide his support for their cause as he reported on what later became a riot. Baker, however, is a conservative journalist, and the protest he was covering became January 6th riot. Now, the Biden administration is arrested Baker on four misdemeanor charges linked to his entry into the Capitol on that day.

Baker would not only later supply stories to his mainstream media outlet Blaze News, but also sell his videos to the New York Times and HBO. So if it didn't have any journalistic credibility, why would they buy that? Journalists often accompany protesters and even mobs as stories unfold. Indeed, there were many reporters in the crowd that entered the Capitol, but Baker, the conservative journalist, was the one charged when others were not. The response from most media figures and groups has been critical. The Justice Department leaves little doubt why they pursued Baker.

The criminal complaint and FBI agent's affidavit repeatedly referenced Baker's support for those who stormed the Capitol. Entering through a broken door like hundreds of others, he walked past Capitol Police who stood by and even directed some protesters. Baker was in the building for only approximately 37 minutes before police let him out. The government claims that the Texas-based writer antagonized police officers. when they blocked his effort to get through a door. He said, quote, are you going to use that, that gun? Are you going to use that gun on us? They also, quote him as later stating in an interview with a local television station

that he was quite excited to see this going on. Do I approve of what happened today? I approve 100%. Now, he has an answer to that one coming up in a minute. He also pointed out his image and footage was emphasizing that his red hat was not Maga, but Yorktown Virginia. He would later joke that it was a shame that he didn't get his hands on Nancy Pelosi's computer given what he might have found.

This is so out of context. In any other context, Baker might be the poster boy for new journalism. J-Schools now encourage students to leave, quote, neutrality behind and push solidarity as a commitment to social justice that translates inaction, end quote. Recent series of interviews with over 75 media. leaders, including Leonard Downey Jr., former Washington Post executive editor, and Andrew Hayward, former CBS News president, reaffirmed this. As Emilio Garcia-Garcia Ruiz, editor-in-chief San Francisco Chronicles stated, objectivity has got to go. So what's the problem with Steve Baker?

She is a national security reporter. She's reported for, I think, ABC. She was on CBS, maybe NBC. She was on Fox. She's a very big deal. She was arrested and held in contempt because she won't reveal her sources. What were her? sources. What did they whistleblow on? They whistleblowed on the Chinese in bed with our universities

and the government. Why does the government need to know who that whistleblower is? It's like they're trying to find the rat. So CBS fired her and then took all of her confidential files. she later got them back. We don't know if they broke her codes or what. I'm sure they could have easily. But now they're demanding that she reveals her source. No. No, no, no, no, no.

They're going after all of these whistleblowers. And the FBI is no different. In fact, there's a group called the suspendables. Have you heard that? The suspendables. these are people that are very, very qualified and very patriotic and have said, we're violating the Constitution like crazy here, and I won't do it. And they've been blowing the whistle.

Steve Friend is now an opinion writer, author, former state and federal law enforcement officer, more than a decade of experience. He worked as first a patrolman, then narcotics agent in Georgia. then he joined the FBI. He's one of these, you know, Boy Scout guys. And then he blew the whistle. And we have him on the phone with us now. Hi, Steve.

Good morning, Glenn. Thanks for having me. Thanks for being on. You were on with me on Friday. I did a special broadcast on Friday after Steve went to jail. Our reporter here that was arrested on. believably, for doing his job. And how do you think, Steve, the FBI agents felt doing that?

Steve said they were very, very polite, but they were the ones here. You know, I'm very disturbed by the fact that this is not just a problem at the very tippy top of the pyramid is a problem down all the way to the very bottom level. And there's an institutional problem in the FBI because they can make your responsibility so granular and so small. And a lot of people are just unwilling, or unable to take a step back and look at the full mosaic of what they are part of, and they just follow orders. But it's very important to note that all FBI employees go to the Holocaust Memorial Museum and the MLK Memorial Museum as part of training.

And you learn there about the banality of evil, and you learn that it's incumbent on you is actually your job to throw the flag if you think we're off the rail. So then why are they going after these guys? If that's part of the training. Well, I think it's a pretty sweet gig to be in the FBI. They definitely make that, no secret about that fact. You know, you have the opportunity in the FBI. Once you are five years in, spirit agent, you have 26 paid days off a year, 13, six days, 11 federal holidays, three paid hours a week to work on your mental wellness, three paid hours a week to work on your physical fitness. And you're making about $135,000 a year. And that is presented to you almost immediately. When I came forward

my concerns about what I saw. I was told, look, Steve, you're risking your entire career. And that was put to me, I was put for decision for all my chips within 30 to 45 seconds of expressing my first concerns. And to me and to other suspendables, we're system idealists. We're not system disruptors. We joined the FBI to follow the Constitution, follow the law, the system disruptors are the criminals. But we all saw what's going on with the Bureau right now. And they are, in fact, to the system disruptors who are departing from their prime directive, which should be to protect the American people from risk of fraud and force. Tell me about Gerrido Boyle.

Gerardo Boyle is a good personal friend of mine. He and I testified last May in front of the Webidivation Committee. He's a indefinitely suspended unpaid FBI agent right now. He came forward with protected whistleblower disclosures, and the FBI facilitated his transfer from Kansas to Virginia and then intercepted him mid-transfer, took possession of his household good, left him without pay, left him homeless in the middle of the winter when he couldn't have clothing for his children, four small girls. And they did that as retaliation for him coming to Congress with his concerns about what he was seeing about risks to parents at school board meetings. And as a result

of that, he's continued to fight. He's been unpaid for over a year and a half now. And that's why when we leaned into this title of the suspendables, Gare just started making lapel pins and T-shirts, and he's using that basically his form of income to support his family. I find this incredible. Tell me about how they just took his, they moved him, transferred him, and then took all of his stuff. Another whistleblower has come forward with more details about this.

The allegation was made that he went to the media with his concerns. He did not. We actually have assigned affidavit from the individual who did. go to the media with those concerns. Garrett went to Congress, as his right to do as an employee under 5 U.S.C. 2303. Did it the right way, just like a suspendable, the right way, at the right time, for the right reasons. And the FBI found out about it, made the allegation, and then also facilitated his transfer, even though he was, quote, unquote, under investigation, which is outside of policy. And because he was transferring, he sold his house. He arrived on day one. They took his

gun and his badge and his credentials. And as a result of that, he couldn't close. on a new house. So he was left homeless and his household goods were being transferred. He had to pay somewhere in the area between $30,000 and $40,000 to get his own possessions back from the FBI. Jeez. And they knew this before they transferred him. I mean, they should have, if they were going to fire him, fire him where he was. They not only knew, Glenn, they allowed him to go to training where he was getting classified material. If you were under investigation, having your security clearance reviewed, you would think that the FBI would not allow you to have access that information, but they did. And this other whistleblowers come forward, and in some pretty colorful language,

it was expressed over at the Human Resources Division, the security office, or the FBI, they said that they were going to F him over. And that was the intent. And that individual who uttered that has since moved on and that works for BDO Seedman. So he has been now, this is 18 months later, he's still not being paid. Because they said that he went to the media, which you say he didn't, and you have a sworn affidavit of somebody who did. What happened to that guy that did go to the media? This individual is one of the anonymous members of our suspenseful. And the allegation was that Garrett had gone to Project Veriton. And that's just not the case. The same information was presented because this is information that a lot of us saw across the board.

It was directed issued from Carlton Peoples within the FBI to use counterterrorism resources to surveil and conduct assessments and investigations of parents at school board meetings as domestic terrorists. And Carlton Peoples was elevated after doing that, and he now runs the FBI Birmingham office. So I just wanted people to know about Garrett, because I remember reading this story about 18 months ago and thinking, this is insane what's happening. Is anybody really fighting this? Who is standing up to the FBI on his behalf?

And on, you know, all of your guys' behalf? Well, Garrett has some legal representation, but the process for him is just long and slow. The allegations of retaliation are going to take years to adjudicate, but he's committed to that because he wants to do things the right way. All of us have sort of formed this coalition of, of individuals. We call ourselves the suspendables.

It was on a lark. We said, we know, we're kind of like the expendables. We had a unique set of skills, but we're all suspended FBI agents. And we've just continued to try to reach everywhere we can. We're sort of in an era right now of not broadcasting, but narrowcasting. There's just so many audiences out there who don't know stories like Garrets and the information that we all brought forward. So we've reached out, you know, to audiences like yours, Glenn, and thank you so much for

for helping us on this. And Garrett and I have a podcast, American Radicals podcast where we talk about this. Garrett writes a substacked called Last Line, which is sort of a reference to being the last line of for law enforcement. And we just keep trying to hammer the message about government weaponization because none of us got into this for personal enrichment or a claim. We just wanted to do the right thing at the right time for the right reasons. and as a result of that, we've all sort of suffer consequences, none worse.

And Garrett, who's a man of honor. It must have been quite shocking to you when you first blew the whistle. You had to have believed that, you know, when the rank and file, when everybody figures out what's going on, they'll stand up. And it must be quite disappointing to see, no, uh-uh. It's incredibly disheartening. I told you one of the times before we talked that I had sort of expected the captain of America and an end game moment where I would hear on my left and look over and see 14,000 agents,

38,000 employees stepping forward, actually truly honoring their oath of office. But too many of them are content to just follow orders. And it was very specifically told to me when I came forward. I said, Steve, your job, your duty is to do your duty to the FBI, not respect the Constitution. And I think too many people have bought into to that and say, and justify what they're doing. doing. And then they also have obligations. They say I have a mortgage, alimony. I got to feed my kids. And my response to them is that's insufficient. You took a position of public trust. He swore an oath. And I would rather have hungry children than morally bankrupt ones. It's our job to raise a standard very much. Yeah, I mean, I don't take a, I don't take an oath at my job. The 7-Eleven guy doesn't take an oath at his job.

Let me give you just an update on my thinking for those who might care or think like I do. I think that you as a family need to be, you need to look at from June to January 7th of next year as a real red zone. As soon as the conventions start, anything could happen this summer, God forbid, but there are so many things that could happen. Because I hope not, but I just don't, I don't trust anything anymore. but, you know, I don't know. I believe in God and I believe in being prepared and being able to walk things back. But I would say that January 8th is the time to go, okay, all right. I think we dodged a bullet this time. But just be prepared. Wow. That's probably the biggest warning I've ever given with, times.

Yeah. Does it make sense? I just sat here on on national radio and said, we've been chaos if the Supreme Court doesn't get the thing right today. Correct. So I guess, yes, I suppose I agree with that. There are a lot of real risks here.

And it doesn't seem like either side is like, you know, if we lose this one, eh. Yeah. You know, no big deal. Yeah. Well, we'll have another shot in four years. That does not seem like what people's heads are right now. So, you know, there's a lot of, there's a lot of bombs in front of us.

And you said, humiliated. Right. Why? I thought I was mentally and emotionally prepared for this because I've followed too many of these cases to not have been. I've seen too many of these guys, even misdemeanor defendants, even misdemeanor independent journalists marched before a magistrate in leg chains and the orange jumpsuit. So I thought I was ready for it until they put

the leg chains on. And I mean, I've never even been fingerprinted for anything in my life. And actually in the moment that it was happening, um, you know, It was overwhelming. And then on top of being chained at your, at your waist and your legs, then they put you in a cage with a meth dealer. And for, and, and of course, Lee can speak to this better than I can. But the process of putting a nonviolent misdemeanor defendant who has been utterly and totally cooperative since the very first phone call from, from the FBI over two and a half years ago. It could have been just an order to appear.

I could have walked in with Lee, both of us with our jackets and ties on. We could have sat in the gallery. They call us up. We stand before just as they did for a felony defendant that day. But I'm guarded by U.S. Marshals with leg chains on. So how many misdemeanors, Lee, have you done where, They're in leg chains.

How many times you see that? In a case like this, almost never. I've got clients right now that are charged with felony drug cases that we are negotiating with the DOJ for voluntary turn-ins. There's an active warrant on one that I was speaking with this morning. And the DOJ is working with us to do a voluntary turn-in to a magistrate. We'll do a same-day hearing. She'll process through pretrial services and be out.

No leg chains, nothing. This was determined by the DOJ in Washington. They had us turn Steve into the FBI at their headquarters 7 a.m. Walked him through, processed him, put him in leg chains and a waist chain, handcuffs to his waist, and then took him directly to the marshals down at the Cabell building here in Dallas. Yeah, no, I don't remember anybody in leg chains and irons for BLM, setting cities on fire. No, in fact, most of those were just catch and release if they bothered to catch at all. In fact, most of them had their cases dismissed, and then many of them have been awarded cash payouts from the government because they were unfairly arrested or prosecuted because obviously we had to understand what their frustrations and what made them burn a building down.

So I was really encouraged by the op-ed that came out from Jonathan Turley. Yeah, this weekend. He makes the point that you, you know, might be a activist journalism or a journalist activist, you know, whatever this new thing is that they're doing. Right. Because you have an opinion. And Stu and I were talking about it earlier this morning. Yes, you have an opinion. I have an opinion. But that doesn't mean that you are.

finding the story you want to find, you could still have an opinion on things, but as long as you're honest enough to say, I'm going in and I don't know what's going to happen. I have an idea what could happen, but I'm going to tell the truth no matter which side it falls on. Is that who you are? Well, see, that that's the thing that obviously not only the charging documents themselves because the charging documents are what they call the statement of facts. They are in fact specifically put together for the purpose of constructing a narrative for prosecution, out of context, comments. More importantly, and this is the key, Glenn, and look, I'll tell you what, I'll let, I'll let,

let me let an NBC, the court reporter, the guy who does every one of the cases, J6 cases for NBC. He's there every day. His name's Ryan Riley. And he tweeted out yesterday. He said if it wasn't for Steve's language on January 6th before he entered the Capitol. And then after that evening, this case almost certainly wouldn't have been brought. Okay. So, wow, that's interesting here in America.

Let me go through the actual charges and let's take them one by one. Can we do that? So here are the charges. You want me to read them? Yes, please. Okay, so these are the charges listed in the criminal complaint. That's not the formal filing of the charge. That would be either in information and misdemeanors or an indictment on felonies.

But this is the criminal complaint that issued the arrest warrant with the supporting affidavit and statement of facts contained. And Steve's right. It is written with the intent to create a language and narrative. There's no question. So of the four charges that Steve's been charged with 18 U.S.C. 752A1, that's knowingly entering or remaining in any restrictive building or grounds without lawful authority. That's the one that carries up to a one year in jail penalty, minimum of six months.

18 U.S.C. 1752A.2. Disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or ground. 40 U.S.C. 5104E2D. Disorderly conduct in a capital building. And then 40 U.S.C. 5104E2G. parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a capital building. Okay, so the, I don't know, I'm sure you know this now, I don't know when you found out, but the Speaker of the House released 5,000 hours of videotape, much of it centering around you and showing that you weren't parading or picketing or being disorderly at all. Ever.

ever. Not at all. So how do they make that charge? That's going to be fascinated to see. Well, you know, this is, this is, and again, I don't want to get into being the legal expert or even trying. I mean, I did stay at a holiday and express last night. But the point being is, is that they always, because I followed so many of these trials, they always overcharge. But that's not just J6. That's just, that's DOKs. And that's to scare you. into a quick plea deal. Correct. They get their, you know, they're notching their belt and their points towards whatever their next, you know, career advancement goal are. And that's essentially what's happening here. Technically, yes, I went in the building.

Okay. So if that is a crime, then it is a crime. But charges. Hang on. If that's a crime, then the crime has to be punished equally. So the New York Times, the Washington Post, every single journalist would have to be charged with that crime. I mean, I think Steve and I were talking earlier, and I think we've estimated that roughly 60 journalists went into the rotunda, went into the Capitol building on that day. Six to seven have been charged now out of 60, rough.

All of those have been right of center media, all of them. So you are being made, let's see if I can find it from NBC. You're made into a total clown by NBC. The same guy whose tweet I just read. Correct. And he says that you are just a, you're in a cover band. You weren't a journalist at the time. I don't know who defines journalists now.

He refused to call me a journalist. Instead, he said, now I'm a writer for the Blaze website. That was his only way of getting around having to acquiesce to what I was doing that day. I apologize. I got to know Ryan a little bit when we were in trial back in the fall of 22 for three months for the Oathkeeper's trial. I always found him to be a really reasonable fellow. I like some of his work. But I agree.

The article that he wrote regarding his Steve. Steve. It was. And it was petty. It was completely unnecessary. I thought it was really poor reporting. And it was done, not unlike the complaint, not unlike what we see when we're talking language, it was done to establish a narrative solely to disparage, Steve. So how do you, first of all, how do you combat the journalist thing? With him going in, that's a six-month sentence. could be. And he has said, well, yes, technically I did. I did violate that. So how do you defend that?

Well, number one, I'm not the only attorney on this case. We've got about five of us that are volunteering on this. And we're volunteering because we got to know Steve during trials in D.C. Great reporting. Always loved spending time with him. He was one of the few conservatives in the press pool there. One of the other attorneys. No, he's a musician. NBC news, a musician and libertarian writer who was a frequent presence at the federal courthouse in Washington, D.C. during the Oathkeeper's seditious conspiracy trial. What were you doing just hanging out there all the time? Well, the worst thing that I was doing is about half of my reporting was on the press pool. They didn't like that. Because I always sat in the back of the room so I could watch them and see what they were doing, see what was on their screen, see which games they were playing. during the important testimonies, to see who was pre-writing their stories and then just hanging out in the hallway talking,

because that's what they do, and they're really good at it. They can pre-write two or three stories in a day, and then as soon as the rulings or the motions are filed, they can then fill in the blanks and boom, submit, submit, submit, you know, and they get out. And then more importantly, I was able to show on certain very significant testimonies

how the comparison of how the various journalists withheld. Because see, we all know it is, it is, it's not that they lie. It's the lie of omission. It's when you're only covering the government's case in chief and their witnesses. And then all of a sudden they get out and go for coffee break during the cross-examination. How can you tell the truth about what happened in that trial? Back in just a minute with more in just a second. And all they're trying to do is make his. language, something that, you know, you could go to prison for. Because you didn't say anything, except one thing that I read. You said to the cop, as you were trying to get through a door, are you going to use those things on us? Right. No, and I wasn't trying to get through the door,

trying to push past anybody. What had happened was, and unbeknownst to me at the time, is only just a couple of minutes before, there had been a shot inside the Capitol just on the other side of the staircase from where I was, the stairwell where I was. And you didn't know that. Of course not. I had no idea, you know, in the part of the capital where I was where you actually saw me typing and texting and taking notes. At that, it was just a minute or two after that that there was a shot that happened. We couldn't hear it over there. And then I walked down that hallway and then suddenly for the first time all day, weapons are drawn. We had not seen a single weapon drawn all day long. Even in the fiercest battle out on the front west terrace that I got, you know, an

hour's worth of video out there, not a single officer pulled their weapons. Even though I consider many of the attacks that they, they faced that day, that they were justified had they done so, but they didn't. Great restraint. And then all of the sudden, for no reason with which, you know, for which I was aware, guns were out. I mean, high ready, they were all there. And so I'm seeing weapons. And so I asked them, because all of a sudden, it's not one cop. It's all of them have their guns out. And the radios are squawking like crazy. We need a triage, blah, blah, blah, blah, you shots fired. And it's chaos. And I said, are you going to use those weapons on us? Are you going to use those weapons on us? And then all of the sudden, one of the cops runs over, I've got it,

I mean, got it full frame right in my camera. He runs over to me. He goes, if any of you guys have any guns and I said none of us have guns we've got cameras and then he goes and then he stops and he goes oh okay okay and then he apologetically says hey it's not us it's not us i've got that film what does that mean he's trying to let us know that this chaos that was happening was not their fault it's not us it's not us we're not doing this and and when when i learned only minutes later because i walked past them FBI medics trying to resuscitate this person. I couldn't tell that it was a woman on the floor with all the blood and the confusion and the compressions and all this other stuff.

And then I realized that somebody was shot. And then I got the actual footage of her being brought out of the building and and followed her down the ramp on the gurney as they're working on her. And that was when I said into, you can hear it in my camera. I was like, oh, crap, it's a woman. And then I actually said, she's gone. Because you could see in her eyes. It was, I've seen death before, and she was gone.

And that was the only thing, that's the only time inside the building for any reason to anyone that I ever even opened my mouth. I didn't chant USA, USA. I didn't sing the national. Anthem. I didn't participate in any, you know, abusive language. You weren't a Trump supporter. No, no. And then, and then to be in a moment completely surprised to have guns all around you drawn, I wanted to know if I was about to get shot. Right. I asked a question. Right. That's all I did. That's not abusive language. But back to what you mentioned earlier as we were talking about, the statement of facts, it's a narrative. Right. Your language is included in there out of context.

with the intent to distort what you were doing. And wait till they see the video of the cop coming up to me and apologize. It's not us. It's not us. Okay. So were you to see that? Are you going to wait for the trial? No, we're going to see that. Oh, no. You'll see it. Because there's some other things that they said, that you said.

Again, after or before. So shouldn't be a part of this trial at all because it's what you did inside, not what you said. But I want to get the explanations on all of those. We are talking now to Steve Baker, who was arrested during this program on Friday, investigative journalist, Blaze Media correspondent, and his attorney, James Lee Bright. And I want to go through some of the things that are, the FBI is saying that really the NBC is the main driver of this. A copy of an FBI affidavit provided NBC News by defense attorney William Shipley indicates that federal prosecutors are going to focus on comments from Baker that show he was sympathetic to the mob, including when he referred to Nancy Pelosi as, excuse the language, a bitch. After talking about somebody, the mob raiding the former Speaker's office in a comment which he said he regretted he didn't steal government property during the attack. Okay. So tell me about let's start with a Nancy Pelosi bitch thing. Yeah, I actually walked down the hallway, where they call the Speaker's hallway into her suite of offices.

And when I walked in that hallway, there were, I was probably one of just a handful of people actually going in and there were just all of a sudden dozens of people leaving. And I looked into a couple of the offices and saw that there was actual, this is the first time all day I'd seen any property damage itself on the, on the. interior that it turned over tables desks um rifled through uh bookshelves and knocked the knocked all of those contents onto the floor as soon as i saw that i knew i needed to get the heck out of dodge so i turned around it's all captured on my camera including the property damage how i went in went oops saw the damage oops i'm getting out of here and i started leaving and so when myself and my best friend that night another writer of some esteem by the way who was uh we'd gotten separated during the day and we finally reconnect back at our hotel room later that night.

And we started watching the news and we cracked open a couple of adult beverages and then we decided to turn on the camera to upload to YouTube, kind of a postmortem on what we had experienced that day. And so I'm telling him that story about seeing the property damage inside of Pelosi's office. And I said something to the effect of, yeah, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving biotch. Okay. And then I was interviewed by the FBI and asked why I said that. And I said, because it wasn't McConnell's office. And they said, what do you mean by that?

And I said, because if it had been McConnell's office, I would have said it couldn't have happened to a more deserving bastard. And then I followed it up. And when we get the transcripts to my FBI interview, we'll be able to prove that I actually did this. And I said, what part of me being a libertarian in hating both sides, do you not yet understand. Absolutely.

Okay. So then you said they got to Pelosi's office and, you know, it couldn't happen to a more deserving. The only thing I regret is that I didn't like steal the computers because God knows what I could have found on their computers if I had done that. When did you say that? Immediately after that on the same video with my best friend with drinks in hand joking about what we were seeing on television already talking about the someone maybe had allegedly stolen computers out of that. So we're yucking it up going, no, I wish I had to done that. Ha, ha, ha. I honestly, I have to say, I would have made the same comment afterwards if I were in your situation watching it at the time.

you know, probably not on the same day, but darn close, where I would have said, can you imagine what was on that computer? I kind of wish we had it. But that wouldn't mean that I wanted to steal it, you know, or that I really would steal it if I said. Yeah, because you were there, you had access. They're trying to say that you had motive to do it,

but you didn't do it. So how is that a crime? It's not. I mean, it's just, again, it's language being included in the statement of fact. to drive their narrative. If Steve had wanted to do anything at all that day, he was right there. The door was open. People were going in.

He saw it was trouble and he left. Everybody always asked, what was my mindset that day? My mindset that day was to, I had my man on the street microphone and a tripod. My mindset was, is that if there was anything specific or interesting or groundbreaking that was going to be said from the stage at the ellipse that day, either by Trump or. somebody else that was speaking, I was going to do man on the street interviews, capture that, take it home, upload it to YouTube, my blog channel, and, you know, it's end of conversation. We had no idea where that day was going and how it would develop. But as soon as I arrived on the West Terrace and I saw that it was a battle, everything changes.

Everything did. All of a sudden, it's game on. And when I say game on, it's time to do my job. and so I started non-violently, not aggressively, not abusively, on the edge. Filming the events that were taking place. And then professionally, as did every other one of those 60 journalists, professionally worked my way through and documented what I could.

And if you didn't have any journalistic integrity of the work, why did HBO and the New York Times buy it from you? You know, look, I was contacted instantly by dozens of agencies wanting to represent me. My first call that I received on the next morning was Fox News. I had already done interviews on WUSA that night, two of them. And that is just a product of, you know, my work output would be their interest. Right. So tell me about the WUSA interview because this, the FBI, according to the FBI, they asked you, do you approve of what happened today?

And you said, I approve 100%. That's quote. Clip, edit, and that's all they took out of almost 30 minutes worth of interview. What is the context that makes that good? The context is that I understood the spirit of what was happening. These people had been locked down for a year. I didn't. I don't think I even addressed the election because I wasn't even 100% on the election controversy at that point. That it was a stolen situation.

In fact, it was 22 months after the election before I ever came to my own conclusion. And so it was a long discussion that I had with two different of their reporters, one actually on the lawn of the Capitol after I'd seen Ashley Babbitt. In fact, I'm walking by this group of guys and they're all standing listening to the headquarters studio. They're just learning that somebody's been shot inside the building. As I'm walking past them and they hear, I said, oh, yeah, I've got a video of that. And they're like, what?

Can we see it? Yeah. So then they interview me for about 15 minutes with the, you know, the capital in the background over my shoulder. I'm talking about, you know, there's a darkness under that dome, blah, blah, blah. I'm pontificating from my libertarian viewpoint about what was going on that day. And then I finally, you know, and I hadn't had the opportunity to even see a restroom in about, you know, 10 hours at this point. So I leave the Capitol grounds and go find a sandwich shop somewhere where I was able to take care of that, get a sandwich.

And then I get a call from WUSA, the lead anchor, the evening news for WUSA, the CBS affiliate in D.C. calls me and ask me if he can talk to me. So I go set up my tripod, my camera, pull out my microphone on the street for a, you know, hit out there on the street. And he interviews me, gets about 15 minutes worth of comments from me again. And then when they run the story, they use less than 15 seconds of clip, clip, clip. And when I, again, going back to my FBI interview, when they addressed that, I said to them sitting across the table. I said, did you see the hard edits in that? Did you see? I'm just trying to

find the hard. Because you have said to us for, well, ever since I've known you, you did not agree with what happened. You know, you found the violence reprehensible. You said that. I've been consistent on that since my first article. The very first article I wrote condemns the violence. I say there, I saw bad people doing bad things, good people doing good things, and some otherwise good people doing some stupid things. They got caught up in the moment. You can agree 100% with the reason why these people were frustrated and why they were there and disagree with the behaviors of the 300 people that did stupid stuff. And the video, the unedited video would show that. That's correct.

That's what you meant. In context, I don't know if we'll ever. be able to get it or not. Well, I mean, it fits with the narrative that Stu and I were talking about earlier today, that you have always been very consistent with us. Because that's the only thing that throws this, and it not legally, not legally at all, but makes you less sympathetic if someone is led to believe that you went in going, Yeah. Break in. Break the windows. Storm the Capitol. And I've never, I've never heard that from you. I've never seen. We've talked about it. And you've always been where we were. And that is, this was a horror show. This was a dark day for our republic because of the way it was handled. Not for the grandmothers that have been arrested for parading, but for the bad guys in there.

And the overwhelming percentage of people that went from the ellipse to the hill, the overwhelming number of people that even went inside, they were just tourists, basically. That's right. And they were. It was cathartic for a vast majority of them after the election, after the year of 2020, which, I mean, those were dark days for our country. Yes. For a lot of reasons. And I've compared some of the behaviors to, you know, how people react after their team wins the championship. people lose their mind. They're foolish. It's a mob mentality. But the overwhelming number of people

that I've met in this process that I've represented were not engaged in the bad behavior that we all look at and we abhor. And it certainly wasn't Steve. Can I ask why have, I mean, because you have done so much to expose the lies. That's why this happened. Oh, I know that. but you expose the lies of the Capitol Police, the two in particular, that were used to put people away by trials. Your trials. You weren't afforded that video. How come these guys have not been released or at least called a mistrial and start again? I don't have answers to that. We fought battles with our judge over delay. Give us to the the end of the J6 committee. Let them go into their sunset and then let us get all the video. Let us see everything. And our judge continually said, no, we don't need to continuance.

The public interest demands that we have this now. Our clients were all willing to waive speedy trial. They were willing to stay in jail waiting to get the stuff that Steve's now seeing that proves two of them committed perjury on our trial. Can this be resubmitted to another court to say you weren't allowed to show the evidence. Our trial is on appeal right now. It is. I mean, and I know the attorney that's handling that appeal.

She's very, very knowledgeable and very good. And I haven't spoken with her since Steve's situation started. I can only presume that those are avenues that she's going to be going down. Absolutely. So, Steve, I want you to know that I have asked you the toughest questions I could ask because I want to lance the boil.

Yeah. I want to know the truth. And so does the audience. I know why this is being done to you because you have been so effective. There's only two reporters, the one at Revolver and you, really, that have been on this from the beginning and have made such a huge difference in these trials. And that is reflected by the support from the Speaker of the House on Friday, releasing 5,000 hours. and all of the video of you in the Capitol so people can see you weren't parading, you weren't chanting, you weren't being disruptive, you were being a journalist. I support you.

Thank you. Thank you. And I want to say thank you as well to those congressmen who have been supporting me all the way up to the speaker. I will say this, though, is that one of the reasons why we've not able to make this situation happen faster for those. those defendants is that we need some documents. I don't need to tell you what they are right now. Those congressmen know what we need. The Capitol police are not subjected to FOIA requests, so we can't go that route. These are not classified documents, but one of those committees has access.

And I am just going to encourage right here on the air because they're listening is please get me those documents. And we can spring these guys that have been unfairly convicted and get them home. home. Their cracks are happening. You're starting to see it. Look at the three-judge unbunk panel that came down regarding the fact that the district courts in D.C. were improperly enhancing. Yeah. 11 levels.

They're public perception questions. They're court of public opinion questions. Let's get off our high horse here, media. I mean, just a couple of weeks ago, you had some journalists talk about you wish Trump was in a convertible because he would be easy to shoot like Kennedy. Shockingly, too, all the journalists out there never really bothered to investigate who that was. Yeah, isn't that weird? Isn't that weird?

they're watching Spanish television. And Karina is the news anchor on something that begins tonight. So tell us about it. Yes, so excited. And thank you for having me here. It's an honor to be here with you guys. And you said it perfectly. Unfortunately, for decades, the Hispanic community has been getting their news for these two major networks, Telemundo owned by NBC and Univision. And unfortunately, In the recent years, these two networks have walked away of representing the Hispanic values. And some people, things or maybe wondering, why do we see the same headlines all over the place? I have worked for both. I work almost seven and a half years for Telemundo and then almost eight years for Univision as well.

So I know this firsthand. And the thing is that, for example, Univision, when they don't cover the news directly, they work with a platform called CNN Newsers, which means that they get all the videos, press releases, that they don't cover directly from CNN. So that's why you see the same headlines and the same rhetoric that CNN uses. And that's a problem. And to me, honestly, as a Christian woman, as an immigrant, as a Hispanic woman, it was hard for me to see that. And I always wanted to be a light in the darkness for my community. And I try to make the difference. And that's why we are launching Vos News tonight, because we really need to provide the Hispanic community a non-vious perspective.

conservative perspective of the news so they can really understand what's going on and they can really make better decisions for their lives and for their families you know soros george soros just bought a radio group that has some of the biggest spanish speaking nation uh spanish speaking stations in the nation you're getting the george soros look at things if that firewall isn't dirt strong that's not going to help. The left has made a move for the Hispanic viewpoint. Is this the first time anybody's made a real conservative effort and a real effort? It is. And you know what? We're going to be the only nationwide newscast in Spanish with a conservative perspective. And you know, that's unbelievable because in the English-speaking world, there are several options and you guys are here to fill up those gaps, you know, providing non-biased information for your listeners and your audience. But the Hispanics didn't have that. And we have to recognize that some of them were one or two jobs or even three to be able to provide for their families. They don't have the time to do

their own research. And a lot of times they watch this TV networks because they like novellas, like the series, Hispanic series, because they feel attached to their culture and all of that. they just listened the rhetoric that they used in the news. And I remember one example on the last presidential election when they were saying the headline was that Republicans were pushing against voting rights for minorities. And I remember myself reading this press release that our producers provide us. And I was, I mean, reading along, and I couldn't find anything that was trying to, you know, to restrict voting rights. I mean, And I have to tell you, it is even harder to vote in Mexico.

In Mexico, you only got one day to vote. There's no early voting, nothing like that. And there's only one kind of ID, the voter ID, that you need to use to be able to vote. So when I was reading this, I was like, what are they talking about? You know, here we have primary election, we have anticipated election. we have several options of ideas that we can present. So all of that, I mean, to me, look pretty reasonable. And I couldn't find something that was really the headline that they were presented.

But again, it was taken from CNN. And unfortunately, it's what Hispanics were receiving. And nobody wanted to be on light or not wanting or the rights to be taken away. So Hispanics are very precise. family, very pro-God. Absolutely. I mean, they are the, you know, in the old days, you know, when my wife's family came over from Italy, it was in New York and it was the full talk with your hands, Italians, and, you know, there

were some bad guys, but there were a lot of just great families that that culture has just melted into ours. But they restored us. Many of these immigrants always restore us because you, you. you've been someplace else and you know what it's like elsewhere. Exactly. Exactly, Glenn. And I have to tell you, I mean, we love God. We love our family. Those are the two main course of the Latino culture and the Hispanic values. There's nothing more important that those two things for us. And you know what? There are more than 36.2

million Hispanics eligible to vote this year. And Hispanics are, you know, are having families. We like big families. So that's why it's very important that they really understand what's going on in politics and they can make informed decisions. So how are you going to, where do people find you? How are you going to let everybody know in the Hispanic community? Absolutely.

So I think that's important. And another very important topic is the illegal immigration, for example.

So we want to really inform for people who will be watching in South America, Central America, we want to tell them the truth because unfortunately they are being told that they can get here illegally, get everything for free and all of that. And that's not the reality. We want, I mean, people need to know. We have correspondence interviewing them, walking with them and interviewing them, and there's people organizing these caravans of illegal immigration. I mean, that doesn't happen all of a sudden. So we need to provide facts.

And it's important for them to know and realize that that's not the true, that they need to stay there, that they need to follow a legal process. Because honestly, illegal immigration is impacting Hispanics as much as it's impacting anybody else. So I've done this for a very long time, and I have seen my share of death threats and everything that goes along with it. You being Hispanic, speaking Spanish, having it going through South America, Central America, Mexico, and here in America, you're messing with some very powerful people. Absolutely. You're aware of that, and how are you going to deal with that? Well, I am, and I have to tell you that the Lord is my strength, and I am so grateful because this is a calling.

I'm so grateful Orlando Salazar, he is our CEO. He's in the cattle business. He doesn't have any need of getting involved in media, but he got a call from the Lord, and he was obedient. And that's how I met him, and to me was a prayer answer. Because as I told you, I wanted to be a light in the darkness that we're living in this world,

not only here in the United States, but in the world. I know the blessing of being able to be in this country. I have to tell you, I love the United States of America. I was born in Mexico, and it took me 19 years. I just became a Jewish citizen. After 19 years of following different legal processes, My children were born here, and I just feel I can see the difference in the opportunities, in the safety.

Of course, no country is perfect, but America, to me, is the best country in the world. And I feel so bad that people here don't realize that because they haven't experienced what we have experience in Mexico and other countries. I know. So tell me how Hispanics here in America that have come here the right way. how do they view the border situation? Well, they don't like that because, of course, that is making their legal processes taking longer. There's, you know, Hispanics that have came here following a legal process, and probably they are requesting now their parents to live with them or, you know, in the legal way,

and they have to pay, they have to weigh, and unfortunately, or people that real have an asylum, a real threat, real threat. And now they are being left behind because all these illegal immigration and people claiming asylum when they don't really have a case. I would think that one of the things that you would come for, because this is why business came to America, is we had laws and they were equally applied. And we've become this lawless nation on so many fronts. And I would imagine people who have lived this before can see this and go, what are you doing? Absolutely. So, Glenn, for example, a lot of people left their countries because of the violence.

So now seeing that there's, you know, violent people crossing the border, doing what we saw. They're doing in New York, for example, beating police officers and then walking away. No one wants that. Not even the Hispanics. We don't want the bad people. We want the good people to be here regardless of their ethnicity or race. And, you know, we, most Hispanics are very, very hard workers, family-oriented. We have helped building this country as well.

We contribute, I mean, the majority of us. So we don't want this country to be messed up because this is a country that it's been a hope for us and for the rest of the world. and we want to preserve that. It has taken us, look it, we weren't in any of these areas 10, 11 years ago. None. You didn't have networks that were conservative. You didn't have news people that were conservative. You didn't have anything except the cable news companies. And look at it now. And we only have had the two. very, very liberal Hispanic news programs coming from NBC, which is, you know, that's good.

And now we have this. I mean, we're really making progress. Important and important timing, right? As you mentioned, what, 36 million Hispanic people eligible to vote this cycle? And tonight, they'll be in 44 million homes. And you've seen, especially Donald Trump, make really. inroads with the population that, you know, you hadn't seen in several election cycles previous. Can you imagine if just the radio news and television news on Hispanic television radio reflected

even just Fox, even Fox, which is not really that good anymore? But even if it was just that, can you imagine the difference in the voting? They are trapped. If they don't speak English, all they have is the left. That's pretty crazy. Imagine how out of touch we would be. Even if you do speak Spanish, I would probably believe that, you know,

the American English language programming is not focused on the same cultural concerns and issues that are important to many members of that community. So to have someone who is talking to them in their language, but also about their issues. Well, imagine just because it's NBC,

doing, what is it Univision or the other one? I think it's Univision. The, imagine what NBC News is saying about what's happening in our schools alone. Oh, I got it. And how that is such a culture clash.

Yeah, I mean, in English, if they're saying the things that they're saying, can you imagine what they're saying in Spanish? Yeah. Which is probably not being monitored by the, you know, the typical conservative, you know, media that might call them out. They probably say whatever they want, basically. So, uh, v. Vos. Vos. I, I'm doomed if we ever take on another language. Dumed.

You know, I've been working as the head of the nuclear regulatory administration, and those things, you know, they can go boom pretty big. I hear that. I don't. Really. Now, are the walls really held together by peanut butter? That's surprising to me. Okay. So next thing, and I'm going to get to this tomorrow. Last week, the president of France made an insane statement actually suggesting that NATO troops could deploy and engage in Ukraine.

Russia responded with, don't be Napoleon. But there's something else that happened over the weekend that you need to understand. and it's another mile marker on the road to war, and I'll give that to you tomorrow with the full explanation of what it means. Now, we also want to go on the vote. The big news today is that the Supreme Court said, no, Colorado, you can't do that. The states can't take a national candidate off the ballots

because of the 14th Amendment, because the state has nothing. The 14th Amendment is something that the Congress would have to do. Yeah, that's basically what they're saying. And it's fascinating on the legal front. It's a little more complicated than the happy headlines, which I am happy about, legitimately happy about it. A 90 unanimous ruling, including Sotomayor, which I'm shocked. Sotomayor is essentially AOC.

She's the clown of the court. She really has no... She really is ridiculous. And she is trying to make herself out into this sort of Ruth Bader Ginsburg figure. Now, Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a hardcore liberal, but a serious liberal at some level where I don't believe Sotomayor is.

But this was so obvious that they could not do this, that even Sotomayor was on board for this. And also Kagan and Katanji Braun-Jackson. So you get all three liberals. Now, they do have a qualified yes on this, and they say, basically, we agree that Colorado couldn't do that. That's the issue in front of the court. We believe the majority is going too far, basically saying the only way this can be implemented is by legislation of Congress. They kind of leave it open as to what federal powers could be utilized there, but it is kind of, it's interesting to note that they did write a dissent here and say, hey, wait a minute, we're not going as far as the majority.

is. This does, if you want to go down, can we go down on the full House of Cards situation here for just a second, which is kind of, I mean, it's hilarious in a way. But they're basically saying Congress would have to pass a law saying, you know, that he engaged an insurrection and therefore should be thrown off the ballots. And you can't do that right now because the House belongs to the Republicans. Now, remember, the Republicans have a very small majority here. A couple of of house seats somehow change, God forbid, and this situation changes. So that's one thing to think about. Another thing to think about, and again, we're going on the full House of Cards situation here.

This is not going to happen. It's telling you it's not going to happen. But it would rule anything out. You know, a dog-faced alien could come down and take over the White House on January 7th. And I would be like, well, didn't see it coming, but makes sense. Yeah, okay. You know, I guess you could say the whole House of Cards thing had a lot of, the show had a lot of crazy turns. I mean, he made his wife. Which all look tame at this point. He made his wife president.

Spoiler alert. Also, Kevin Spacey was married to her. Also, spoiler alert wouldn't have happened in real life. There's been developments in that case that may make you understand that. But going beyond the House of Cards thing, in theory, let's just say Donald Trump. Trump wins the presidential election. And the Democrats hold the Senate and turn over the House. That new Congress takes seat on January 3rd.

You'll note a couple days before January 6th. So you have a new, in theory, Democratic Congress Democratic president that could theoretically come up with it. Now, it seems like... All they have to do is vote and say he was an Asian. an agent of insurrection and therefore cannot be president of the United States. Now, there's reason to believe in the ruling that the Supreme Court would not allow this to happen, but still it's theoretically possible.

If they could vote and say, yes, he's an insurrectionist. We're going to pull him off the ballot. And then you'd have a couple days to get this over. Now, the way I think I would understand that is whoever Trump chose his VP essentially would take over. So it wouldn't be like they'd be putting Biden in for longer or some Democrat, would be named. But I mean, look, if the, if the American people elect Donald Trump and they just pulled them off, they're like, no, you got to go with your VP now, there would be a little bit of uproar over that. Again, you know, not going to happen, but still, it is a fascinating.

What makes you say that was such, I mean, I don't think it's going to happen either. I don't think it's going to happen. But you say it was such certainty. Well, what makes you say it was a, you know, it's crazy is we used to say, you know, these things aren't going to happen. would, we'd fairly, you know, we'd believe it because crazy things haven't happened. You can't use that same kind of conviction anymore. I say it the same way I said to start this show that Donald Trump was not going to lose in court today. I knew he wasn't going to lose in court today.

There was no way he was going to lose in court today. However, there was definitely a way he could have lost in court today and we all would have been screwed. Like that is like, in reality, I can't imagine anything like this happening, but just to give you the outlying possibility of whether you should get. all your, you know, preparation supplies and head to the mountains right now. Like, if that were to happen, God only knows. If that would have happened a day, I would have gotten all my stuff and head to the mountains right now. You would have. Seriously. He would have been at the ranch. I would have.

Can we address one other big part of this too? Yeah. Which is separate from all the legal back and forth, which, you know, we are going to, I'm sure, cover over the next couple of days in more depth. But can we just stop and pause for a second and focus on how seriously the, media as a whole took this ridiculous ruling from Colorado and the idiotic Lawrence Tribe-esque experts who told us it was the right thing. Yeah. They said over and over again, oh, actually, actually, this can happen. And it's absolutely right.

And we saw expert after expert trotted out on television to tell us, no, really, this is the right way to go. This is really what is going to happen. And the Supreme Court very well might overturn this. And I know. And I may say convinced people who, if they would just use their common sense, when it first came out, you'd say, they can't do that. They can't do that. We know that.

Because he's not been charged with insurrection or anything else. He can't do that. These people came on television and convinced half the country that that was reasonable and really not just possible, but could be likely. And the only thing that would stop it is this right-wing Supreme Court. court that of course will go with the, you know, 9-0. And then it was, but then it was 9-0, and you got even Sotomayor on board for it. So an embarrassing failure for the media yet again, it is important to note these things, even though I know we sound like a broken record on it.

But they convince half the people in the country that like, oh, well, yeah, this is obviously the right thing. Nobody believed it was the right thing. There was never any hope for it legally in the courts. It was always a dead end. it was a Hail Mary of Hail Marys of Hail Marys, and they decided to try it because they're throwing every piece of spaghetti against the wall to see if it will stick. But they never had a chance.

This was always absurd. The people who put it through in the California Supreme Court should be ashamed of themselves. They knew it wasn't real. They knew it wasn't true and they did it anyway. Well, I will tell you, we're sitting knee high in spaghetti right now. Because, and that's going to continue and it's going to get faster and faster and worse and worse. They are just trying anything and everything to win. Ethics, the ends justify the means.

So look how we made, in the end, drown in a pile of spaghetti because this is their approach. And I'm telling you, the lawfare that is coming our way is going to be insane. All right. More in a minute. We have to also talk about the election with DC and the Super Tuesday tomorrow coming up in just a second. So you're getting ready to sell your house. This is the Glenn Beck program. Well, it looks like a new poll out shows that 10% of 2020 Biden voters, now back Trump. Another bad sign for the president. So we have that going for us. And tomorrow is Super Tuesday. Now, yesterday, the District of Columbia, Trump lost to Nikki Haley, which, I mean, there was 2,000 Republicans that voted.

2,000 in the District of Columbia that voted. Which is, and they probably were all Tony Podesta's relatives, just pretending to be Republicans. But that's not the place you want to win. You know what I mean? I mean, you take it as a win, but it's not the, you don't want to hold that one up and go, hey, I won the District of Columbia. It's a little too on the nose, right?

The complaints about Haley being, you know, some D.C. insider these days. Yeah. And then she wins the D.C. primary. Let me tell you something. And everybody that works at McDonald-Douglas loves me. Yeah. Yeah.

But again, people are like, well, why is she staying? in, this doesn't make any sense. Well, why would she drop out right now? I mean, first of all, Super Tuesdays tomorrow. So she has a, you know, a bunch of states that she could pack up some delegates. Can we look through those states? Yeah, quickly. This is the Super Tuesday. Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado,

Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas. I think she's here today, by the way. I think she's in Fort Worth today. She didn't stop by here. Texas. No, she did not. Utah, Vermont, Virginia. And, because I'm patriotic, my favorite Samoa, American Samoa. Oh, I love that one. And I love their cookies. Anyway, go ahead. So tell me how they're shaping up. Which ones could go to her? I don't think any. I don't think she has the chance of winning any of them, frankly. She may, I mean, it's not impossible, but it doesn't make any difference, obviously. He can wrap this thing up by next week, I think,

technically. As far as the delegates go, obviously the challenge for him is not whether he wins this primary in a normal sense. It's more of a legal question and all these other things. But it's kind of interesting to look at this and say, all right, well, what's the point for Nikki Haley, right? Why would she stay in? And I keep asking people who say that to me, why would she go, why would she leave? You know, she's going to go through this. She's going to lose a bunch of these. The embarrassment is already over. She's already lost, right? Yeah. The question now is what is she running for? What is, what is her goal here? Resident of Raytheon. Right. Right. Like, The goal is not to be the Republican nominee or serve in the Trump administration again.

Right. Her goal is, you know, is she, you know, a board member of Raytheon? Is she a professor somewhere? Is she, you know, a... Professor, where? I mean, anywhere that wants to have a respectable conservative, not like these Trump people. She's now looking for, I think, a separate path here. And, like, it's a sensible decision for her.

I mean, you know, Paul Ryan, who every conservative, you know, or every MAGA person, like, does not like it all is on the board of Fox, right? Like, there is a path forward for you if you happen to be a person who can appeal to that, well, sensible right wing view, quote unquote. So I think that's her path forward. She's making her play to be sort of the leader of that wing, which is, again, a much smaller wing, as these vote shares keep telling us. but also a powerful one and has, you know, there's plenty of, there's a bright future for someone who takes that type of stand

and is shown as the alternative to. Mitch McConnell is getting old. He's in his 80s. I know. He's getting old and you're going to need somebody to play the Mitch McConnell role. I don't think, you think she's going to run for,

I don't even know. I just think you need a mascot for that role. Okay. Somebody that's like, hey, the old guard is still standing here. Perhaps. I don't think it's just, you know, look, it's not just one person.

It's not, I know, blowouts are blowouts, right? Yeah. In elections show 70, 30 blowouts. You say, wow, 40 point loss. That side of the party is dead. It's still a third of the party. No, I know. Or a fifth of the party.

And a fifth of one of the two major parties in this country is still a powerful role. And it can't just be completely thrown to the side. There, you know, a lot of these, like, I would just like, I mean, it would be great if they were a fifth of the party were at the side. They're at the front. I mean, I think that's changing, though. It is. Slowly, it is changing.

It is a totally different. It's a totally different party. And like, you're seeing this in the, in the R&C leadership, which again is going to be whoever basically Trump wants. I mean, Trump, I don't know. Trump gets what he wants in this party. He does.

I mean, he's had times where he's liked Mitch McConnell. He's times he liked Ronald. And when he doesn't like them anymore, they leave. That's what happens.
