Starting point is 00:01:00 Now, if Chlorox bleach was something that you drank, would you have your supply at home? No, probably not. I would get some actual food and maybe a water filtration system or something. You know what I mean? Really easy. You can find it all at mypatriotsupply.com. That's mypatriotsupply.com. 2,000 calories a day for optimum strength under stress.
Starting point is 00:01:29 It's really good food. get a three-month supply for everyone in your family now my patriot supply.com. You're about to hear of entertainment. This is the Glenn Beck program. Hey, hey, welcome to Tuesday. Guess what? I'm not on a new kill list. That great.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Except I kind of feel like I'm not doing my job if I'm not. I'm kind of. I mean, there is a part of me that's like, but shouldn't I be on that kill list if I was really doing my job? So I'm torn. Is this good news? Bad news? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:02:47 But I'll tell you about the new kill list. And how much money we're sending to those people? Coming up in just a second. First, I have Bill Blipson here. He's just man on the street. And Bill's got some pain that he's been working on. Bill, how long have you had this pain? 412 years.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Wow, that's right. How old are you? 112. So you've had it since birth. Immediately. Yes. Really? Yes. Wow. Some doctors have pointed out the spear that is going through my leg. Really? It could be related to that. But you don't think it is. I don't think so. No, you know, this medical establishment.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Yeah, you can't trust them. You can't trust them. Have you seen the Fauci guy? So can I ask you, where were you born that you got a spear through your leg? In a spear factory. In a spear factory. Yes. My father was a worker out of a sphere factory. And your father gave birth to you? Yes. Why? Is there a problem with that? No, no, I'm just saying. Is there a problem? No, I'm just saying. Are you claiming, I am not.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Claiming. I just want to know about your pain. Yes. On a scale of one to ten. You might imagine it's a ten. It's a ten. Yeah. There's a spear all the time. Right. Okay. And that's unrelated to the pain. Have you tried written? That's unrelated to the pain. Yeah, I don't think it's calls from the spear. I think, I think, I think, I It's 5G technology. 5G technology. Yes, that's what I believe it is.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Have you tried relief factor? I have not. You should try it. Really? Yeah, it might not work for you. But, you know, 70% of the people who try it go on to order more. So I would just suggest you try it for three weeks. And if the spear pain and the 5G pain doesn't go away, it's probably not right for you.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Yeah, probably. All right. Okay. I'll give it a whirl. Give it a whirl. It's a relief. Raleafactor.com or you call 800 the number four relief. 800 the number four relief relief factor.com feel the different.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Well, that was interesting. How are you doing still? I'm doing well, Glenn. Thank you. Good, good, good. So you're not on a kill list? I'm not on a kill list. And it's disappointing.
Starting point is 00:05:04 You're losing your touch. You're, you're on kill list. I've seen them, but I mean, you're not on this new kill list. I'm not on the new one. Okay. No, I'm not on the new one. And the new one has just put, you know, a friend of the program from human events, Jack Posobic.
Starting point is 00:05:24 He's on the kill list now. And the kill list. Congratulations. The kill list has targeted Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, and Glenn Greenwald. When I saw Glenn in the article, I'm like, oh, dear. And then I saw Greenwald and I'm like, well, wait a minute. I wasn't even nominated. And this list is called the peacemaker.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Now, when you hear the peacemaker, you think, oh, it's peaceful. No, it calls for a retribution against perceived enemies of Ukraine. And Pesobic is pointed out he's an anti-Ukrainian propagandist and provocateur. sure. So he's going to be killed. Or at least that's what they're threatening. And I love the fact that we're sending money over to a country that is developing kill lists for Americans. No, this is not an official government document, I assume. This is, let me see here. This is, this is from the guy who is, you know, the woman who pretends he's a woman who's an American. Here, let me let me just play. Have you seen the new he she that is now? What?
Starting point is 00:06:49 The spokesperson for Ukraine? I don't believe this. Can I come out and just formally say, not in that way, formally say I don't believe this is real. I don't know how everyone tells me it is real. We've checked it. No, this is really the Ukrainian spokesperson who just happens to be a trans person. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:11 That is... It was an American that went over to... I just don't believe it. Ukraine. I don't believe. I don't believe. Was in the army fighting and then pulled from the front lines.
Starting point is 00:07:21 That part I believe. Yeah, pulled from... That part makes sense. From the front lines and then put in with the propaganda, you know, in ministry of information. I just don't believe it's true. So here... If you're watching us on Blaze TV, this is worth... the price of admission for the month.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Okay? You're welcome. We're giving you a bonus by showing you the video of this. Watch. Russia hates the truth that their obsessive focus on a Ukrainian volunteer is simply allowing the light of the Ukrainian nation's honesty to shine brightly. Can we stop for a second? Next week.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Can we just come on. This can't be real. Let me tell you something. I'm going to give Russia such a hit in a minute. I'm in a minute. I'm going to finish this and then I'm going to get. give, I'm going to slap him across the face, all of Russia. I'm going to do it.
Starting point is 00:08:16 And I'm going to look beautiful while I'm doing it. Go ahead. The teeth of the Russian devils will gnash ever harder, and the rabid mouths will foam an uncontrollable frenzy. Stop. Stop. This can't be real. It can't be real.
Starting point is 00:08:34 The rabid mouths are going to froth. They're going to. They're foam. They're going to. They're going, are they going to foam? Is that what's going to happen? They're foaming. They're foaming at the mouth because they're rabid dogs. And they're going to nash their, they're going to nash their teeth. What?
Starting point is 00:08:51 It's legitimately impossible. This is real. This is real. How can it be real? I don't know. Stu, how can anything today be real? But like, this is a country that didn't even allow gay marriage. Like, they're not, I know. This is not a progressive.
Starting point is 00:09:08 This is aimed to America. I know, but come on. First of all, it's aimed to America. It doesn't make any sense that they would, they would, they, they, they found a trans. None of it makes sense. It makes more sense to me that Russia is producing this specifically to try to make Ukraine look bad. That makes more sense to me. This is where the kill list is coming from.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Ah, it's just, hey, this is the kill list. It's coming from that department right there. Now, go ahead. He was talking about the uncontrollable. frenzy. Also the frothing. Quiet. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:09:44 It will foam an uncontrollable frenzy, as the world will see a favorite Kremlin propagandist pay for their crimes. And this puppet of Putin is only the first. Russia's war criminal propagandists will all be hunted down, and justice will be served as we in Ukraine are led on this mission by faith in God, liberty, and complete liberation. Okay, I just have to.
Starting point is 00:10:08 I just want to. point out, we are led by God. And even though the Ukrainian people do not agree with transgenderism at all because of God, I'm their spokesperson. And because we're led by God, we are going to hunt down these people who disagree with us and kill them. I mean, it is hard to believe. Tell me, and this is, I've had quite a weekend. Tell me what you believe. Tell me what you believe in right now. Tell me you can tell me the difference between truth and fiction on any topic. I can't. I mean, I can't.
Starting point is 00:10:46 No, I can't either. I can't. I mean, I've seen this has been confirmed by all these media sources and I still don't believe it. You ever get that, you ever get a story like that where you're just like, no, I'm just not going to believe it. I don't care how many times it's been proved. I'm not going to believe it. Yep. That's where I am on this one.
Starting point is 00:11:00 I'm on that on just about everything right now. I am looking at everything and I'm like, I don't know who to believe. I don't know what to believe. I don't know what to believe. I came in yesterday and I looked at Stu and I'm like, I don't know what to believe. How are? Who am I to get on a radio and say, you know what? This is the truth.
Starting point is 00:11:18 I have no idea. It's a very strange world. Well, I mean, just the guy in the dress with the hair and the guy in the dress with the hair is the guy who made the kill list. Well, I don't know if he made it himself. He might have been doing his nails or something else. Who made the kill list? Well, it's coming from him. He's saying that
Starting point is 00:11:41 Tucker Carlson and what is Jack Pesobic are on a kill list? Yeah, you know, I was trying to rope him in. Look how easily he just called him he. You are misgendering. Okay, cut two of the spokesperson. Oh, more? There has been much discussion recently related to my role within the armed forces of Ukraine.
Starting point is 00:12:00 Yes. Senator Vance recently asked the U.S. Director of National Intelligence, along with the secretaries of state and defense, if I was working in some capacity for the American government. Simply put, I'm an American serving as a Ukrainian infantry soldier and combat medic who was brought from the zero line and assigned to the TDF's media team in the dual role of spokesperson and Russian disinformation analyst. The remaining speculation surrounding me is disappointing. While in Ukraine we are fighting for global liberty and the ideology of victory, too many in Moscow and across the world are still. still caught up and focusing on the tired trope of gender chaos.
Starting point is 00:12:41 Ukraine is a nation. Stop. Stop for a second. Stop. Stop. Stop. People who are critical of gender ideology use the term gender chaos. That's what he said.
Starting point is 00:12:50 They're using the old tired trope of gender. What did you say? Chaos. Yeah. He's saying that was an old tired trope. He's like, they're focusing on the old tired trope of gender chaos. There is no chaos here. You have the whole world.
Starting point is 00:13:06 sense. I don't know. Get me a cigarette. I'm just got to have a cigarette right now. Highly suspicious. I'm going to kill you. I'm going to kill you. Senator Vance, good questions to ask, I would say. Because there's two things that would make sense here, sort of.
Starting point is 00:13:26 One, like, there's someone in our government saying, you know what? Sure, we'll give you these billions of dollars. One of the conditions is you have to appoint. You have to appoint as a spokesperson, someone in the LGBTQQIA 2 plus community to show your tolerance. That's believable. That's believable. That's believable. That you find this too hard to believe that there's somebody like, you know who we could get rid of?
Starting point is 00:13:52 We can't get rid of all these people. You can't do that. You can't do that. No? We could put a guy pretending to be a woman that everybody is dismissing and then give them whole bunches of money and they can come and kill them. these people. I mean, I'm not saying that's happening, but I'm not not saying that either, because I don't know what's happening anymore. Could be like a trading places type of thing, where like there's a couple people, the old people with monocles who are like, what if we make
Starting point is 00:14:21 them have a transgendered person come out as their spokesperson? By the way, J.D. Vance is going to be joining us in about 10 minutes. Oh, yes. Yeah. Let's ask him about this. No. I don't believe it. No. We shouldn't ask him about this. I would like to know. That's not why he's coming on, is it? He's not coming on to answer. No, he's coming on about some other things. Oh, that's what I thought. My first question is, tell me about the Duton address with the kill list.
Starting point is 00:14:48 And why are we giving them money? If this is from the Ukrainian ministry of whatever, where are we giving them money? Well, if it's an official document, anyone associated with it, should immediately be fired. and we should withhold money until that happens, right? I am so tired. These are American citizens you're talking about. So tired of you just blabbing. I'm still listening to the...
Starting point is 00:15:14 I'm sorry. Spokesperson. Go ahead. Ukraine is a nation that embraces individual liberty and maintains a devotion to God. The freedom that Ukraine is fighting for is not based on carving out privilege for some, but creating a pathway of prosperity and success
Starting point is 00:15:31 founded in hard work and the rule of law. for all. Neither I nor any Ukrainian is fighting for tolerance and acceptance for any one group, but for the freedom of every human. Come on. I'd like to say, you know, there's something off here. But I mean, that's fairly obvious. But what I would say is that I think, I don't think this is real. I don't think it's real. Well, isn't there something that gonna give you such a hit? I'm gonna put you on my list. Not my kill list because you're not that important, but my slap across the
Starting point is 00:16:11 face list if I ever see you walking down the street slapping you, I'm gonna slap and slap and slap you, tell you're silly. You should not be on the Ukraine enemy list though. You've been very fair with your coverage, right? I mean, like they- Well, we did go in and rescue children. There you go. I mean, other than that, you know, we shouldn't be on a kill list. No. You've helped, you know, rescue people in need. But I do think the government's completely corrupt. Yeah. And I don't think we should be spending any money there. And I also don't want to, yeah. I also don't want to be, you know, in any war, sending planes or anything, really, any more over to Ukraine. I, I, there's some risk associated with such things.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Well, it's only nuclear annihilation. Right, that's the only risk I was talking about. Yeah, that's the only risk. So, uh, I think that's probably we should, I think it's enough. I think it's enough. I mean, so you're saying just the nuclear annihilation is enough to not send over billions of dollars every day. It is. It is for me.
Starting point is 00:17:16 I'm like, I'm like, you know, they're saying that we might be, we might be in a nuclear war. Our president's not too well, you know, and he'll have about 10 minutes to make the decision, whether to fire or not. And I'm, I'm just, I'm, I'm out on a limb here in today's crazy world. But I'm saying, I don't think so. I don't think so. And I could put on a wig if it would make more sense to you, but I don't think we should do it. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Mm-hmm. Now, doesn't Biden have a speech of the UN today? Yeah. So I'm sure that'll, that'll ease any of your concerns. Because he'll knock that one out of the park and then we'll know, okay, he's got a really good vision. he's got this all under control. Sure. Maybe. And Zelensky's there too.
Starting point is 00:18:02 Zelensky's meeting. Maybe he'll come out as a woman for the speech. I mean, that seems to be a very effective tactic. I tell you something. I wouldn't be surprised. No, and you know what? We would all be told we should accept it. And it wasn't anything different than normal.
Starting point is 00:18:16 And if you notice it, you're a bad person. And even more. She's the most beautiful president I've ever seen. The first female president, by the way. She is first female president and the most beautiful person I've ever seen. And if you disagree with that. And if you're like, it's Joe Biden in lipstick. Nope.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Nope. Nope. It's not. No, it's not. You've misgendered that Joe Biden. And we'll put you on a kill list. So we've got that going. American financing NMLS 1-8-2334.
Starting point is 00:18:49 www. www.m.m.l.comer access.org. You know, being smart with your money comes in many different form. saving money where you can and not spending it where you don't need to. Hugely important. Also, getting rid of debt as quickly and painlessly as you can is vital, especially in today's economy. So how's that going for you?
Starting point is 00:19:10 You have debts you're still trying to get on top of. Of course, everybody has credit card debt out the wazoo right now. And you don't know how big our wazoo is. It's pretty darn big. Salary-based mortgage consultants whose only job is to get the right home loan. for you to save you money. They don't charge you any upfront or hidden fees. If you don't qualify or your credit score isn't perfect, they'll help you out.
Starting point is 00:19:33 2,000 of my listeners have called them just in the last few months to help them save money. Small number of those actually didn't have the credit score to qualify. And American financing is running them through the credit care program, which is absolutely free and will help boost your credit score. So call American financing now. 800, 906, 2440. people are saving an average of $700 a month. American financing, 800, 906, 2440, American financing.
Starting point is 00:20:02 Dot net. 10 seconds, station ID. Okay. I have been getting all kinds of calls, all kinds of mail, all kinds of questions from everyone about the stories that are coming out about Tim Ballard. Yes, I have seen the articles. and I pray to God. The allegations in them are not true.
Starting point is 00:20:39 I have spoken to Tim and he has forcefully denied them repeatedly. I don't have any direct knowledge of any of this. Yesterday, some, we call the press people? Yeah, some people asked why Tim is no longer the CEO of the Nazarene Fund. Tim departed the Nazarene Fund several months ago. It was at the release or just around the release of Sound of Freedom as his concentration was going toward his new foundation of Spear. His leaving was not related to the allegations contained in the reports that we're finding out about. Now, again, I pray to God that they are not true.
Starting point is 00:21:29 And I honestly ask you to pray for everyone involved. everyone involved. Okay. How you doing, Stu? I think I'm doing okay. I'm not on a kill list. Not on a kill list today. I mean, I assume after the last, the previous segment,
Starting point is 00:21:49 we probably are on the kill list now, but up until today we were not on a kill list. Not me. I'm for her. You're for her. I'm for her. I'm all about her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Yeah. Okay. Well, that would be, I mean, you know, only in this. In this time. In the Ukrainian military court, we'll see how that works. Only at this time could this possibly happen. And you know what?
Starting point is 00:22:13 You know, if you believe that, you know, everybody wants to go to war with us, this is perfect propaganda to get the Russians to destroy us. Because the Russians are using religious propaganda and saying, you know, the truth that we are so far away from God. and they're in Putin is not a religious guy that's not a religious country but he is using all of the religious things to say look they're going to infect us and the rest of the world and they're going to bring this to us I think this is great Russian propaganda but it's from Ukraine but this is only adding fuel to the fire on the points that that Putin is making about the United States of America, and quite frankly, the rest of the world is making about the United States of America. The Glenn Beck Program.
Starting point is 00:23:13 So Joseph Stalin is supposed to have once said that a single death is a tragedy, while a million deaths, it's just a statistic. Unfortunately, that is the way people think, even if they don't want to. Nevertheless, 64 million lives lost to abortion, not a stat. It is a crime against humanity. It's an insult to God, the God who made us. This is why preborn exists. This is why we have chosen to stand with preborn and everyone else that is fighting against abortion.
Starting point is 00:23:49 But they're not just fighting against abortion. They are fighting for the mothers. They're fighting for the babies. The mothers that choose life, the chance of them choosing life for their baby doubles with an ultrasound. You give that baby an ultrasound, that mom, she sees the baby on the screen, and she doubles the chances, and then you back it up with being the support team for the mom for up to two years after birth of her baby, and it changes the world. Preborn.com slash Beck. Can you make a donation? Preborn.com slash Beck. And it's blazTV.com slash Glenn.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Sign up now. Save 10 bucks off your subscription to Blaze TV when you use the promo code, Glenn. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. I'm going to tell you the truth here on something. You know, J.D. Vance, I've always thought was a good guy, liked him. But my opinion changed on him. When I found out that Mitt Romney said he was one of the worst people in the world, he's become a god to me. J.D. Vance, welcome to the program. How are you? Good, Glenn. How are you? very good. Okay. So first, first things first, we have to ask you,
Starting point is 00:25:16 this spokesperson for the Ukrainian military, I mean, if we didn't live in the world where nothing makes sense, I would say that's completely bogus. But I don't know what's true anymore. If you just
Starting point is 00:25:37 play the video of this person, I would think it was an S&L skit or something. Correct. I can't actually believe this is the real world, but it is. And it shows how far school it is. Let's sort of focus on the substance here, because I think it's very important to sort of nail down what exactly this person said. So number one, they said any, and it's a man, by the way, it's sort of a transgendered man. Yeah. Oh, no. Saying that we're going to hunt, hunt down, hunt down Russian propagandists. Okay. Russian propagandists
Starting point is 00:26:08 are anybody from, if you, if you judge by the standards of the American media, anybody from Tucker Carlson to yours truly. Many friends of mine in the American media have been accused of being Russian propagandists. So is that an explicit threat to anybody who challenges the party line in Ukraine? Because that's what it sounds like. Now, the other thing we have to remember is this is not some random Yahoo, whatever to Ukraine. This is the official English language spokesman for the Ukrainian military. Okay, we know that to be true, right? We know that to be. We know that to be true. Now, here is the crazy thing, Glenn, I don't want to get too much in the weeds because we're still learning a lot. There was a Daily Beast story reported two years ago about this individual where they claim to be a member of the Ukrainian military.
Starting point is 00:26:57 Sorry, sorry, excuse me. They claim to be a member of the U.S. intelligence services. This is two years ago. So are we actually dealing with a person who used to be employed by the U.S. government, went over to Ukraine and now is threatening to kill people for exercising their First Amendment rights? Because that's what it looks a lot like to me. And we need to get to the bottom of this. This, in my view, I'm selfish about this, Glenn, should be the biggest story in American media. This guy, I guess pretending to be a woman or, you know, I don't know which direction this runs. I never do. Pretending to people for exercising their first amendment rights, it is crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:37 If this is an official spokesperson, why are we sending a dime to Ukraine? They are threatening American citizens. And by the way, I don't understand because, you know, the left, well, no, the left has always traditionally hated anti-war people, haven't they? Oh, no, they didn't. We should not be sending a dime to them. Well, that's exactly right. In fact, our tax dollars are being used to threaten American citizens with violence for
Starting point is 00:28:13 exercising their rights, right? Now, this sort of gets to the heart of the lie at the Ukraine-Russia war, Glenn. And I don't know where you are on this, but I've sort of been a skeptic of this from the very beginning. Oh, yeah. If you sort of, if you listen to what people say, they say it's a war for freedom. No stop. Well, we know Zelensky's arresting Christian priests, and now his spokesperson is threatening
Starting point is 00:28:33 American citizens with violence for exercising their rights. We're told it's a war for democracy, and yet they've suspended elections indefinitely. At what point do we look around and say, we're not. funding a war for democracy. We're funding something else entirely. Let's have an honest conversation about what that is. We're funding the Great Reset. That's what's happening. We are funding Black Rock and Goldman Sachs and everybody else going in to rebuild. We've already sent over half the amount adjusted for inflation that we sent for the Marshall Plan. That rebuilt a lot of Europe with the Marshall Plan. We've already sent half of that money over there, and we're talking
Starting point is 00:29:18 about rebuilding while the war is still going on. And he's opened up the stock market. He's Zelensky has. Our stock market. He keeps talking about invest in Ukraine because the business is going to be good. We are funneling all this money to God only knows who. Yeah, it may very well be the racket in the history of the last century. I certainly am open to that. But whatever we're funding, here's what we're, here's what I'm sure about one. We're certainly funding a very deadly war with no insight. We're funding a war that is destroying one of the most, you know, important culturally nations in Eastern Europe. We're funding a war that is enriching a lot of Americans and a lot of defense contractors in the United States of America. And I still am not clear on what our actual interest is,
Starting point is 00:30:12 On top of that, we're exhausting weapons supplies that we may need, God forbid, if there's a war in another part of the world, like, for example, East Asia. So this has just gotten completely out of control. Olensky's going to be in D.C. on Thursday. We'll see if anybody lets me get close to him, because, you know, I've sort of gone back and forth on what I would actually ask him. And I think what I would ask him is the last time you were in town, we were told that the counteroffensive would be a major inflection point. and now we're being told we need to buckle in for the long haul. Is that another $100 billion, another $500 billion? How much are American taxpayers expected to fund this thing?
Starting point is 00:30:51 When, to your point, Glenn, we know that a lot of this is ultimately going to get fundled to the American, or I should say the international corporate class that seems to actually rule the world. All right, let me change subjects. I haven't talked about the UAW strike. Because I don't understand what they're thinking. They're asking for a doubling in salary. And you know what? Everybody's hurting right now.
Starting point is 00:31:14 So if you can get, you know, but this is a doubling of salary. It is the restoration of things that were not financially feasible and taken off during another. They're asking for the world. Meanwhile, because of this administration, Ford loses, what, 30, 35 grand per electric vehicle. They're $2 billion in the whole every year now because of the electric vehicle. They can't even build enough trucks now. You have to wait for a Ford truck.
Starting point is 00:31:53 And China, we just found out, is the leader in 19 higher tech fields, including battery operations and the production of batteries. the production of EVs where they're already dominant. What are we, what, what are the unions and everybody else doing to our factories? Well, look, first of all, we're subsidizing industry to your point that the Chinese dominate. And it's not just the batteries, it's the components, it's the minerals, it's the mining. It's the entire supply chain from when you start digging stuff out of the ground to when you actually start driving these cars, the Chinese dominated.
Starting point is 00:32:36 So every time we subsidize. and EV, what we're really doing is subsidizing the destruction of a gas-powered automobile job with a Chinese EV job. We need to be honest about that. Now, Glenn, I'm sympathetic to the factory workers because, like you said, everybody's getting screwed with Biden's inflation. Everybody's trying to struggle. And yeah, look, a lot of their demands are excessive, but we have to remember this is a negotiation. And what I'd encourage all of my fellow conservatives out there is to remember the real lesson in the last 40 years. My view, that lesson is when we ship our industrial base to China, American consumers lose, American workers lose, and the American people become weaker. We
Starting point is 00:33:17 become weaker as a nation. That's what we're doing here. So we have to keep our eye on the prize here and say, the Biden administration is doubling down on 40 years of failed policy. Let's ship all of our industrial jobs overseas and pretend and hope that workers are going to somehow benefit. they're not going to benefit. Consumers aren't going to benefit. These car companies aren't going to benefit in the end. It's a lose-lose proposition for everybody. So look, I think the workers, some of their demands are reasonable. I think some of the demands are the things that you do when you go into a negotiation. You sometimes ask more than what you think you're going to get. But the core issue here is, look, when you ask who has been the biggest advocate of EVs and the transition to
Starting point is 00:34:00 EVs, Glenn. It has been the big three automakers themselves, the corporate leadership, and also the union leadership. Correct. Who has screwed the union membership and the consumers? I know a lot of auto workers, they are not on board with this transition to EVs. So the leadership needs to better reflect the views of membership here and save this industry. And that's what I say about the unions. I'm not talking about the workers. The unions, the unions are in bed with the government. They're in line with the Green New Deal. They're in line with all of this stuff. I don't know how they benefit in the end,
Starting point is 00:34:37 but there's clearly some way the union heads actually benefit. But the people are being screwed. You're going to lose everyone's job by going to EVs. It's going to happen. Just like, you know, no, we're just going to go ahead and, you know, we're going to make parts globally. And how did that work out for us? This is the same thing.
Starting point is 00:35:01 It's the same thing replayed over again and again, Glenn, and we know who's going to get screwed. It's going to be all of us and it's going to be our workers. Now, here's a crazy statistic on this strike, Glenn. Just focus on Ford. If Ford gave the UAW everything they asked for, everything they asked for, it would cost about $5 billion in 2023.
Starting point is 00:35:21 Goldman Sachs estimates that Ford is going to lose, guess, $5 billion on EVs in 2023. It is a direct, direct transfer from working people and from consumers, of course, because the EVs are more expensive. They have a lot of other issues as well. Direct transfer from those folks to the people who have been getting rich for the past generation of this country. It's a real problem. We have fundamentally an economy that has been rigged by different people.
Starting point is 00:35:48 And right now, the people trying to rig the economy are the climate cult. They're going to get rich from this. I guarantee you they're going to find a way to get rich from this. But we're paying more for cars. We're paying more for used cars. we're paying more for gas, and that is by design. And most importantly, we are destroying our, we go to war. We need those workers and those Ford factories and those GM factories.
Starting point is 00:36:11 We've got to have those. Or we're not going to be able to do anything. It's the reason why we could go from training with broomsticks in 1938 to outmaneuvering the German war machine by 43. because of those factories and those workers. This is insanity. We are cutting ourselves off at the knees every single day in every way and every place. Yeah, and Glenn, we have an economy that's way too built around debt and way too built around financial services and globalization,
Starting point is 00:36:47 not enough around making real things. This is, I think, the fundamental inside the last 40 years. We don't make enough of our own stuff. So go back to Russia, Ukraine. Guess how many artillery shells? the Russians are making per day. Okay? And again, set to the side your foreign policy views.
Starting point is 00:37:02 It highlights their economic power. 20,000 artillery shells a day is what the right is. Oh, my gosh. We're the biggest economy in the world. We make 20,000 in a month. I know. We cannot win the next war if we don't have our own industrial power. And that's what we have to regain.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Oh, gosh. One last question. And that is, the national debt just hit 33 trillion. Do we even know what we're spending this? money on. We are now, we're still spending at the COVID levels. We're two trillion dollars over the budget. What are we even spending this on? And are we going to, is, is Congress going to stand and say enough is enough? Are we going to buckle again? I think the COVID point is the important one, Glenn. You hear a lot of people talk about entitlements in these conversations. And look,
Starting point is 00:37:54 we can have that conversation, but let's focus on the immediate problem. In 2020, Our government, excuse me, 2019, we spent about $4.5 trillion. If we spent just that amount of money this year, we'd have close to a balanced budget in this country in 2023. But we're going to spend north of $6 trillion. We allowed COVID to blow up the federal budget. And there's really been no sustained effort for Republicans to try to put that genie back in the bottle. You ask the question, are we going to buckle? Obviously, you know, this is a House question more than a Senate question because Chuck Schumer runs the chamber on our side.
Starting point is 00:38:27 I hope that they don't. I think that there's an opportunity here. Look, at the very least, to get something, right? I'm a realist. I don't think that they're going to balance the budget in the next two years, but we need to get something out of this, right? Yeah. If we're going to give the Democrats something,
Starting point is 00:38:44 whether it's defunding the weaponized DOJ, whether it's, you know, doing something, all these ridiculous mask mandates that they're talking about bringing back, my personal, you know, I think the most important issue in the country is actually not the debt. it's the immigration. It's the border. If we don't get control of our own border, we don't have sovereignty, we don't have a real nation. Maybe we can get something there.
Starting point is 00:39:05 But if we fold as a Republican Party and we get nothing in response for it, then I think our voters are going to be pissed and they have every right to be so. Oh, yeah, they are. They're going to be more than that. They're just, maybe you're done as a party. It's going to be done. Senator J.D. Vance from Ohio. Thank you so much, Senator. Appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:39:23 Thanks, Lord. You bet. Bye. All right. Every time you had to move, every time you've moved in your life. Don't you wish you just had like a magic wand and you'd be like, I'm with the Ukrainian army and I'm going to make you disappear. And you could make all of the move just done in one day.
Starting point is 00:39:44 No, you don't have a magic wand. Yet, I hear they're working on one. I might be talking about somebody with a magic wand tomorrow. Who knows? You can make your move, whether you're moving. across the street or across the country, you can make it really simple by having the right real estate agent. Now, I started real estate agents, I trust.com.

Clearly, we've been talking a lot about how billions and billions of your dollars are going all over the world to, God knows what. But it's not just the government you have to worry about when you're thinking about how your money's going to get taken from you. It's also cyber criminals. Cybercriminals, of course, are there.
Starting point is 00:41:03 And, you know, you'd think maybe the government's supposed to stop the cyber criminals from stealing your money, but they don't do a very good job at accomplishing that task. So maybe you need to take action and you need the help of home title lock. It's one of the fastest scoring crimes in America home title theft is. And if you get involved in it, if you wind up getting hit with this crime, you are going to feel a lot of pain. We've seen homeowners pull onto their streets and see a bulldozer knocking over their house.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Why? Well, it was sold months previously. They didn't know this. And the new owner was there like getting ready to build their new house. Well, you don't want that to happen to you. There's been all sorts of, even if it's not a bulldozer, you're talking about endless paperwork and dealing with the government and banks and insurance companies. And, I mean, it's going to cost you tens of thousands of dollars just to set it right. Your home, your property, your equity are your most valuable assets.
Starting point is 00:41:52 And home title lock helps you protect them. Home title lock puts a shield around your home's title and property. And the instant they detect activity or tampering. They shut it down. First things first, you need to verify that you aren't already a victim of this crime. Go to HomeTidalock.com and use the code back. You'll get 30 risk-free days of protection. HomeTidalock.com.
Starting point is 00:42:11 The code is back. All right, coming up just a second. Congressman Jim Jordan, he is the GOP House Ranking Member. Want to talk to him a little bit about what's the plan for the budget? What are we going to do with that? Because I'm going to give you such a slap. I'll give you a slap. I will, I will, I will.
Starting point is 00:42:37 We're going to find out about the budget. And also, you know, some new, new things coming out on the impeachment inquiry. And I want to talk to them about what specifically are we looking for? What do we hope to have? And what's standing in the way of that? All of this and more coming up in just a second. Stand by. Thanks so much for listening to us today.
Starting point is 00:43:05 I've got to talk to you a little bit about Mantis X. Mantis X, if you're a gun owner, this is, I think, the best system. It's widely used by the military. Now it was just for our Marines at first. And now everybody in the military is using it. And it is a way to practice firing either at the range or dry firing. And, you know, you always want somebody to be there and watching. What am I doing wrong?
Starting point is 00:43:32 What am I doing wrong? And my favorite is after I've spent like $6 on a bullet, they'll say, I'm sorry, I wasn't watching. Oh, okay. Mantis X is always watching. You put it on the barrel of your gun. and it measures and tracks exactly what's happening at all times with the gun. So as you're squeezing the trigger, are you leaning down, leaning up? What's happening to the gun?
Starting point is 00:43:56 And it shows you in real time on your iPad or on your phone, and you can then correct it. It shows you how to correct your technique. It is amazing. 94% of shooters improve within 20 minutes. I know I did. It is going to save you a buttload of money when it comes. to go into the range. Start improving today. Starting point is 00:45:05 little enterprises like the on our oner.ca. What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is
Starting point is 00:45:51 the Glennback Program. Hello, you're sick freak. Welcome to the program. I'm really glad that you're here today. We're going to, we're going to, delve in to the swimming pool that is corruption, spending, our borders. I mean, we've been clowered in Piven. Does anybody recognize that with our borders?
Starting point is 00:46:17 Just the borders alone. Let alone now, we're $2 trillion extra over budget now. We're still spending at COVID levels. Does anybody know what we're spending it on? Because I don't. Does anybody know? Anybody? Bueller.
Starting point is 00:46:35 Bueller. We're going to start there in 60 seconds. First, Landau Lakes, Florida. Tunnel to Towers Foundation is building a community there called Let Us Do Good Village. It'll have about 100 homes for the program participants. There are two families who have already moved in to Gold Star families, a Gold Star family and actually a family, not Gold Star, it's severely injured hero that served our nation. more to come. It's a special place that they are seeing families coming together and healing together. It's a place where their children can grow up and experience life together.
Starting point is 00:47:12 And it's all thanks to one amazing donation of land on which it sits. Of course, thanks to your generosity, they're building the homes. The Let Us Do Good Village can be just the first of many communities like it. This is your opportunity to help America's greatest heroes and their families heal together. grow together. Every mortgage-free home, the foundation makes good on its promise to do good and never forget the sacrifices our heroes have made for our country and our communities. Donate $11 a month to tunnel to towers at T2T.org. That's T, the number two t.org. Jim Jordan is joining us now. Jim, boy, all of this stuff is related. You know, we've got the craziness that is happening in
Starting point is 00:47:59 Ukraine. They're going to ask for more money. We are $2 trillion over what we brought in. We're spending at COVID levels. And, you know, speaking of money changing hands, we also have a very corrupt government here and Joe Biden and his son dealing with Ukraine, all that money being lost Now, I mean, I don't know what's going on and where you even begin, but let's start with the budget. Yeah, no, no, you're right. We should, I think what we should send over to the Senate here on this, what's called a continuing resolution to fund the government until we get these appropriations bills done is we should focus on a policy that says no new migrants can come in the country. I mean, you got the mayor in New York who's talked about this. You got the, you got the folks in Boston talking about this.
Starting point is 00:48:52 So when you got Democrat elected officials saying this problem is so bad that we, We have a chance, I think, to get a policy victory and stop the craziness that is now our southern border and how this problem is impacting communities all over the country. So I would push for that policy. That's something we're trying to work out amongst Republicans as we speak. But that makes sense to me as something we should do. You pick one good policy, put on this bill and you dare the Democrats. Really, Chuck Schumer? You're not going to fund the government because you think it's appropriate to continue to just allow this unrestricted migration into our nation?
Starting point is 00:49:27 I think the American people are with us on that. And you saw that when it was a Democrat members of Congress up in New York last week, getting screamed at because of the chaos, this crazy open border policy of Joe Biden has caused for the country. So how come we didn't pass all these individual bills? That's what I was told Congress was going to do, you know, last summer. That's what they said they were going to do. Yeah, we should have, we should have done that. I think part of the holdup, frankly, was if you remember when when the House first passed our debt ceiling, bill, the Cud Limits Safe Grow, which was good legislation that actually put in some good policy. Joe Biden said, no, no, no, I want a clean debt ceiling increase. And he wasted three months from February to May of nothing happening. And that sort of was that you needed to get an agreement on what the number is going to be. You know, one of the things my colleague who has said that I think makes sense is he said, we are one half of one third of the government by five votes. So it's
Starting point is 00:50:25 It's tough for the House Republicans to drive all the policy. But we've had, I think, an outsized impact on things when we stick together. So that was part, I think, to hold up. But you're right. We need to get after that. And we need to get it done. We just haven't been able to get agreement here amongst Republicans, which is a problem, too. But by the way, because it seems like Democrats always seem to be able to agree to attack Republicans.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Well, no, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, we come together to go after them. But, Jim, you know, what's crazy is we always fall apart because of the weasel rhino Republicans. They fall apart, they used to fall apart because they were listening to the radicals. And the radicals ended up getting their way. And if we don't have some people, I mean, when you have government, the way it is today, you know, I don't mind being called a radical. If it means disagreeing with everything that's going on in this country, then yes,
Starting point is 00:51:23 color me a radical. I'm not. I'm just a constitutionalist. That shouldn't be radical in America. No, it shouldn't. Well, said, and I think we're agreeing because I actually said this, I've said this in the House floor, I said, we need to as Republicans understand that any differences
Starting point is 00:51:39 that exist between moderate Republicans and us conservative Republicans pale, in comparison between the differences of Republicans and today's radical left, which controls the Democrat Party. So we better understand where the left ones take this country, And as Republicans stick together so that we can stop where the left wants to go. That's what I think we have to focus on.
Starting point is 00:52:01 And I thought we were able to do that many times so far this Congress. But you're right. We need to get these appropriation bills done so that we can get the right kind of policy on those bills to stop the radical. All right. So the continuing resolution this time, you're saying about the border. When is that going to be done? So you have time that your back isn't up against the wall. We're working on.
Starting point is 00:52:22 We just got it. went out of the votes right now and within the conference. And so we're trying to get that. You know, there were conservative Freedom Caucus members who got together with more, more moderate members and came up with this idea that that we focus on that issue, the HR2, the bill we had passed through our committee and through the Homeland Security Committee that would actually protect our border and put in the strongest immigration enforcement legislation ever, put that on this bill, send it over there and say, okay, Chuck Schumer, you're really going to vote against this and light of what your marriage is set,
Starting point is 00:52:52 in your town, okay. That to me is a smart political play and good policy for the country. So that's what we're trying to, but we don't have to vote for it right now. But you'll just let us know who you'd like to vote. We'll let their name be known and help you out there, Jim. The other thing that I want to talk to you about, because we've just taken care of budget and border, do we even know what we're spending over in Ukraine? Do we have any idea? Too much. That's what I know. And they want more. I think this is also going to be another fight that's going to unfold here this fall. Look, you and I have, I voted for the very first, I think, legislation, which condemned what, you know, Russia was doing. And I voted against every other funding for this because no one can, and I'm sure you've talked about this claim.
Starting point is 00:53:46 But somebody tell me what the objective is. what is our goal? Is our goal to get Russia out of the Donbos region? Is our goal to get Russia out of Crimea, which they took back in the Obama years back in 2014, is our goal? What is, no one can tell us what the objective is. And so if you don't know what the objective is, why are we spending so much money, the hard-earned taxpayers of the 4th District of Ohio? Why are we sending it all over there? That is the fundamental question. Until we get an answer for that, I don't think you even, you can go to the next question, okay, it should be, it's like that is the fundamental question that no one seems to have a, certainly the Biden administration doesn't have an answer.
Starting point is 00:54:21 So what is the goal then on the impeachment hearing? What is it you're looking for? And what stands in your way now of finding that? Yeah, I would frame it a different way. It's not that we're looking for necessarily anything. I think it's when you see so much evidence, our constitutional duty to do oversight requires us to move to what's called an impeachment. impeachment inquiry phase of our investigative work. So that's what we're in.
Starting point is 00:54:52 You look at all the, you can talk about the brand, the bank records, the 10% for the big guy, the WhatsApp message, the shakedown message. You can talk about it. But in the end, in my mind, it sort of comes down to like four basic facts regarding Burisma. Hunter Biden was put on the board of Burisma, fact number one. Fact number two, he wasn't qualified to be on the board. Fact number three, the executives at Burisma said, we're under pressure.
Starting point is 00:55:17 we need that pressure relief. Fact number four, Joe Biden goes to Ukraine and gets the prosecutor fired who was applying the pressure. And that fact number four is consistent with what was written in the 1023 confidential human source form that the FBI had, where the confidential human source tells them that that Burisma paid the Biden's money to get a certain policy preference and certain policy outcome. That's pretty compelling stuff. So that's why we have to open this inquiry and then we're going to look into this from all three committees and we're going to see if it leads to impeachment. So that's, but that's what I'm asking you.
Starting point is 00:55:50 What do you need to open up to prove what would be this smoking gun that you're like, okay, that's it? Yeah, certainly, you know, bribery is mentioned in, in the constitution, bribery, high times misdemeanors. Abusive office has historically been used, and I think is, is an impeachable offense if president, and Biden abused his office. And I think this is why it's so important to figure out what exactly happened in the Hunter Biden investigation, why it was handled the way it was, why they let the statute of limitations expire for certain tax years. Was it because those tax years dealt with the income coming from Burisma?
Starting point is 00:56:33 I mean, no one, why did they let that statute expire? Why did they wait so long to appoint the special counsel? We're looking into all that. But the inquiry is certainly warranted. And then you look at the abusive office, you look at the bribery issue as you go through the inquiry. Thank you very much. Jim, I appreciate everything you guys are doing. Thanks for coming on in the program, the GOP House Ranking member.
Starting point is 00:57:05 We are, I will tell you, please tell all those who are thinking about, well, I'm going to be moderate on the budget. You probably shouldn't. Because if you blow this one, you know, I think the American people are done with the Republican Party. You can't blow this one. Important we do what we said. Glenn, thanks for, thanks for all you do. Take care of him.
Starting point is 00:57:28 Bye-bye. Jim Jordan. All right. Doug lives in Colorado. He's the outdoorsy type. I don't know what that means. Well, I know what it means I don't like Doug. I mean, I might like him as a person, but I'm not hanging out with Doug.
Starting point is 00:57:42 But he's the outdoorsy type who enjoys hiking in the mountains. mountains. Why? Over time, he says age and the gradual wearing down of the body started to catch up with Doug. Yeah, because you're climbing mountains. Why do you think God created like, you know, the land cruiser? Hello? Maybe because he didn't do the very healthy thing. He let his body rest very, very frequently. It's, I mean, it's, it's, it's works for me when I rest very, very frequently. Like, I'm resting now. The pain in his knees and his feet got so bad that he was no longer able to hike without stopping to rest every little bit ways. And he was starting to despair. He's like, this is my life. I love this. Well, he decided to give relief factor a try.
Starting point is 00:58:33 He says a few weeks in and I realized my pain was basically all but gone. Three week quick start, 1995, trial pack, not a drug, developed by doctors. so it doesn't whack you out. It's not, it's all natural. And it will, if you try the quick start, about 70% of them of the people who try it, go on to order more. So go to Relieffactor.com or call 1,800 for relief. 1,800, the number four, relief. 1995, three-week quick start. Relieffactor.com. Feel the difference. 10 seconds, station ID. So the House Republicans launched impeachment inquiry. Last week, what is the percentage of independence that support this? Hmm, I haven't seen this poll. I mean, I think there's a larger number than you'd think that. 81% of Republicans support it.
Starting point is 00:59:50 Yep. Only 12% of Democrats. Okay. Where are the independents? Yeah, you'd think it'd be somewhere. in the middle there. I don't know. I probably say 53%.
Starting point is 01:00:06 Shut up. 50. Sorry, you went over. That's the way the game works. That's, that's, I mean, I don't know that I would have guessed that high a couple of months ago. I think they've come a long way in explaining this. And one of the things I think you can give real credit to in the house is they've done a good job presenting this information in a credible way without really getting over their skis on it.
Starting point is 01:00:34 Right? Like I think it's tempting to just say, oh, well, you know, we know he's, you know, without the evidence. And they have stopped and then they said, well, let's wait for the evidence and have trickled it out when they've had it locked down. And I think it's done a lot to convince people. Correct. There really is something here.
Starting point is 01:00:50 Yeah. And I think they've, I mean, I've hated the slow dribs and drabs, but they're not coming to conclusions. They're just saying, oh, here. the latest. And there's a lot every single day that comes out on this. Yeah. That doesn't look good. The other thing to take away from this is the mainstream media. It doesn't have the power it used to. If 50% of independence are like, yeah, I think
Starting point is 01:01:18 impeachment's warranted here. The only one's not getting the message are the diehards, the Republicans or the Democrats. And I think it would be exactly. the same if it was reversed. It was same, same charges, same everything. Yeah. And that makes me sad. It's amazing. And I think listening to, you know, Jim Jordan laid out when he talk about a fact pattern, right, those four steps he outlined there, that gives you a plausible story, right?
Starting point is 01:01:49 Like, okay, this is all suspicious and this is the storyline. But the pieces he sort of just went over, you know, the WhatsApp message and the text messages from the business associates and all these things. things, bank records, that's the evidence and the evidence that supports that fact pattern. And the media is still trying to claim that there is no evidence that supports this fact pattern at all. When that may have been plausible five years ago, I mean, I don't know. I mean, even then, I think there was enough to make you suspicious. But now having what we have from the laptop, having all these even separate email accounts
Starting point is 01:02:26 and text message accounts from people. who worked with Hunter Biden and did not, it did not come through the laptop. People that have, that have, were separately texting with each other about this as it was happening. Correct. It's just impossible for you not to believe that there's evidence here.
Starting point is 01:02:43 So do you know the, the IRS supervisors that have come out, it's Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler? And they came out and they said, you know, it was last summer when the, uh, when we came out.
Starting point is 01:02:59 and said, yes, we're very optimistic about bringing felony charges against Hunter Biden for not paying his taxes. And, you know, they've been working on it since 2014. They even assigned somebody to prepare an indictment. And then all of a sudden, the U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C., Matthew Graves, a Biden appointee, refused to bring the charges. And he's like, well, we're going to wait for a. I got to wait for a while. You know, I'm not sure. We're going to. And then the Statue of Limitations runs out.
Starting point is 01:03:34 And one of their things is just, why did that happen? Why wouldn't they file the charges? We do it. They file the charges and we get it done. We kept warning them that the Statue of Limitations is running out. It looks like they slow walk this intentionally for that. But do you know who, do you know who Joseph Ziegler is? is. He's a, he's a Trump supporter. Oh, no, sorry. No, he's, he's been a special agent for 13 years,
Starting point is 01:04:11 has earned multiple commendations, and he describes himself as a gay Democrat married to a man. So it looks like we have somebody here who's just trying to do their job. And that's the problem with us now. You know why you can't believe anybody? Because you don't know if they have a horse in the race. Because it seems everybody has a horse in the race. Oh, he's only saying that because he wants. Where are the people that say what they mean and mean what they say? Can we find them?
Starting point is 01:04:53 They used to be everywhere and the one who would lie to your face was rare. I feel like it's going the other way. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. You know, when people can just get on TV, get in, and just lie to your face, that's why we don't have trust with anyone. Because all of those who are at the top of our society seem to be doing that. Yeah. Once in a while my mind brings me back to 2004 when John Kerry's campaign was upended by saying, I actually did vote for the $8 or $7 billion before I voted a guy.
Starting point is 01:05:33 That's right. Remember that? It was like a huge moment in that campaign. Yeah. And like, it wouldn't even be a blip today. Like I, it's legitimately no one would care. No one. No one. They would paper over that in 10 seconds. It wouldn't even be a one day story today. Because we just have built in now this idea that everyone lies to us all the time and we accept it all the time. And I wish we didn't, but we have. You can't do anything. anything. I mean, that, you know, the, the Cloward Piven idea is overwhelm the system. Yeah. So the system is overwhelmed and, you know, it just will collapse on its own weight,
Starting point is 01:06:16 i.e. too many immigrants here coming across our border. It'll just collapse on its own weight. Same thing. If you overwhelm the system with lies, this system is not built for an entire society just to not care about truth. just not built for that. And it'll collapse on its own weight. We've got to start telling the truth, no matter if it hurts or not. The Glenn Beck Program. Most people spend a lot of time focusing on self-sufficiency and preparedness.

So the Justice Department announced a new rule to amend ATF regulations. Now, who has seen this coming? They have expanded the definition of a firearms dealer to include now those, anyone who sells even a single firearm. So if I don't sell anything except the one,
Starting point is 01:08:42 and I sell it to stew, I'm now a firearms dealer? What? Why would they do that? Well, because if you sell one gun and you're profiting on it, you need to conduct a background check, and those records are going to be possessed by the ATF, and then they're going to be digitized and put into a searchable database, which, gosh, that sounds like gun registry, doesn't it?
Starting point is 01:09:12 a little bit? I mean, maybe a lot. Aidan Johnston is here with us. He's with gun owners of America. He's the Federal Affairs Director, and he's up on this. Aidan, that sounds like something that's illegal. Well, this is a total infringement on your Second Amendment rights. The law does not give Biden the authority to implement backdoor, universal background checks, or backdoor registration checks, but he's sure doing it anyway.
Starting point is 01:09:45 So what is the, what is the recourse on this? Well, the Biden administration is going through the rulemaking process. So we have the Congressional Review Act where Congress can strike down this rule, and we already have a Congressman Andrew Clyde, who's preparing to use that process to strike down this rule. But of course, gun owners of America also plans to file a lawsuit. and take this rule change down in court, but we have to wait until the final rule is published. Right now, it's the proposed rulemaking phase, and it's time for the public to comment and tell the ATF why they shouldn't implement that final rule.
Starting point is 01:10:26 So just so people understand that there's no such thing as a coincidence, what made this rule change possible? Well, last summer, folks might remember that a bunch of Republicans got together with every Democrat and passed the biggest gun control in decades. It was called the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. And there were a dozen things wrong with that gun control bill. And Gunners of America, we opposed it. We told Congress what was wrong with each thing.
Starting point is 01:10:59 And one of the things we mentioned was if you change the definition of what it means to be a gun dealer, they're going to weaponize it against this. And we knew Obama tried to do this on his last stay in office with an executive order and Trump reversed it. So as soon as they touched that definition, of course Biden was going to do the exact same thing. And gee, isn't this Senator Cornyn's compromise? Yes. And in fact, this definitional changes. His little baby, his personal mission when he went to the negotiating table was to make this change as if what we really needed was more government regulating your private business. It is remarkable to me that this guy is from the great state of Texas. It's truly remarkable.
Starting point is 01:11:42 I don't know how that happens. Okay, so what do Americans need to do? Well, right now, like I said, we're in the proposed rulemaking phase. So you have to go to regulations.gov, or to the federal register, and submit a public comment and tell the ATF, no, don't do this. Now, if you don't want to do all that, you can also goa or, or, will help you. If you become a member, we're going to be sending out an action alert. It'll help you comment. It'll give you a model to submit to the ATF. And that will help us down the road when we
Starting point is 01:12:19 file a lawsuit. We'll be able to say 100,000 gun owners, 200,000 gun owners said that this is unconstitutional for X, Y, and Z. And the judge will take that into consideration. So that's the next step. Then like I said, we're also going to be fighting this in Congress. But unfortunately, the way things are, Biden's issue to rule. He's abusing his executive authority, and it's a bit of a waiting game until this becomes finalized in a few months. And for those who don't know, why is this such a bad deal to have them half a registry? Well, so universal background checks might sound nice in theory, right? Who wants a criminal to get a hold of a gun? but there are a million ways that criminals always circumvent their background check system and less than 10% of criminals in jail actually obtained a gun legally.
Starting point is 01:13:10 But universal background checks are only enforceable with a gun registry. To know who did and didn't run a background check, you have to know who owns what gun. And if you own a gun that wasn't registered to you, then it must have been transferred without a background check. So this all plays in to something else that just, Biden has also been doing, which is turning the forms 4473, which you filled out if you bought a gun of the gun store, into permanent gun registration forms, and then sending those to a database in West Virginia.
Starting point is 01:13:44 How is he doing that? That's illegal. Well, in part, it's been going on for a long time. When a gun store goes out of business, all of their records are supposed to be sent to the ATF, and using that statute, which has been around for decades, The ATF has compiled over 900 million records in this database in West Virginia. So almost one billion records of gun owners, the guns they own, their serial numbers. And now the Biden administration last August changed another rule and said those records can no longer be destroyed by a gun store once they become 20 years old,
Starting point is 01:14:24 which was the previous way of ensuring that most gun records didn't end up in this database. a permanent complete gun registry was never created. But now that means there is a, there is a record of every single firearms transaction going back to August of 2002. Every gun that was ever sold at a gun store with a background check has a 4473 with a name, the social security number, and the serial number of the gun that that person bought. Okay. Again, talk to the people who don't know anything about guns.
Starting point is 01:15:00 guns that are listening and they go, well, that's not so bad. We should know who has, who has what guns. Why is this, but how can this go wrong with the American people? Of course. Well, now the federal government has a list of everyone who owns a gun and what guns they own. That's a prerequisite for gun confiscation. Gun registration always leads to gun confiscation. We've seen it time and time again, whether it's Australia or Nazi Germany. When the government knows what guns people own. That is a list of guns to take. And the people in the Weimar Republic did it under the Weimar Republic trusting their government and just didn't think about, oh, wait a minute, what happens if bad guys take over the country? And they did. And you had to turn in your gun. And some
Starting point is 01:15:48 people waited. You know, they were still within the rules, but they waited. But the law at the time became if you have a gun, we shoot before we ask questions. So now people were trying to get their gun to the police station, but if they take it to the police station, they'll be shot and killed because they're holding a gun. And it didn't work out well. Didn't work out well. For the German people, you know, when they were turning their guns in,
Starting point is 01:16:18 also didn't work out a little later when they had no guns. But, no, of course that. Our founding fathers, when they wrote the Second Amendment, recognized that it was necessary to the security of our free state. Our freedoms are able to be retained by the people because we have this check on the government. But if the government has the ability to take your firearms in a moment because they have a billion records and a gun registry that needs to be destroyed, well, that is a threat on your Second Amendment. And that undermines the security of our free state. Aidan, thank you so much.
Starting point is 01:16:54 I really appreciate what you guys do. It's gunowners.org, isn't it? That is correct. Yeah, gunowners.org. Gun owners.org. Thank you so much, Aidan. I appreciate it. You know, our Constitution isn't worth the paper it's printed on
Starting point is 01:17:09 if you don't stand up for those rights. You know, they're trampling. All right, I got a right. What are they doing? They're taking away my right. Yeah, well, you can say that all you want. But until you put into action by standing up, letting your voice be heard, telling all your friends, all the gun owners
Starting point is 01:17:29 that you know, this is what's happening. Because did you know this was happening? This happened last week. Did you know this was happening? They have overwhelmed the system far more than Barack Obama. You know, what really pisses me off, I can guarantee you, I can guarantee you that the GOP has not sat down and, and. had a group of constitutionalists sit down and say, okay,
Starting point is 01:17:59 what is it that they've just done that we need to undo? What is it? What's our plan of attack? They plan for years while they're out of office. For years. All four years of Trump, all they did was war game. When we get power back, what are we going to do? And they make all of these tweaks.
Starting point is 01:18:20 And before you know it, you don't have any rights. left. You know, it's one thing to say, well, we're not going to, you know, whatever, we're going to fight the government with pistols. They got tanks and planes. Yeah. Yeah, that's weird. They do.
Starting point is 01:18:39 Yet it seemed to do pretty well for the people in Afghanistan. Like, I don't want to fight that. But don't tell me that small arms don't make a difference. And I don't ever want to fight the United States government, ever. But if they go rotten, if they go, I mean, if we're in the Weimar Republic years and all of a sudden we go into what comes next, yeah, I would say we shouldn't probably turn in our guns. It would probably be a bad thing because history may not repeat itself exactly, but it does rhyme. The Constitution, the more we go down this road and you haven't learned the Constitution. I haven't learned the Constitution.
Starting point is 01:19:28 We don't understand the Bill of Rights, the more we're going to lose. It really is amazing, too, that I don't, I think because we've been so blessed in this country to have a Constitution that has lasted this long and been taken seriously for most of the time the country's existed, we don't realize how rare that is. No. Right. Like, and I think recently, a lot of us have had to wake up to the fact that, you know, they're doing stuff like the student loan thing is a great. example of it. Just doing it. Just doing it. And you're just like, wait a minute, what about the Constitution? And you realize their answer to that is, so what?
Starting point is 01:20:05 That's basically their comeback. And when they say, and a bunch of times, you realize that, you realize how quickly this gets all slip away, right? Yeah. It is just a piece of paper. And the Republicans, many of them say, look, yeah, I know, I know, Constitution. I love the Constitution. But we have things to do. Once they say but, I love the Constitution.
Starting point is 01:20:30 But. But. No, no. There is no, but. We follow the concept. All of our problems. All of our problems. Every story, we should do this show.
Starting point is 01:20:41 Every story I could connect it to one of the things in the Bill of Rights or the Constitution that is being violated. Every story that comes out, I can show it to you. Show it to you. That is. who we are. And we cannot lose that. And we're, it's,
Starting point is 01:21:04 it's close. I mean, I always thought the Constitution was hanging by a thread in the past. I don't know. It's like one thread and it may have already been cut. Time is running out to stand good, decent, honorable, honest people that just want a future for their children. They want freedom for everybody.
Starting point is 01:21:28 but that means tolerance in a sane way. More than a minute. Imagine you're walking on a tight rope. You're right in the middle when all of a sudden you see somebody taking a giant chainsaw to the rope. Yeah, well, that's what's happening with the Fed. Okay, you're walking out on this tightrope. You're trying to keep your budget. Federal Reserve has interest rate hikes that are starting to have severe negative consequences.
Starting point is 01:21:55 Economic safety nets are snapping. Americans are right in the crosshair. for disaster. Remember all those savings you were relying on during the pandemic? Starting point is 01:23:30 It's very large. It's more like luggage, Samsonine. And you're just dragging along and you lose it. You think your employer is going to be upset because you were just supposed to take it out, you know, for a walk and then bring it back to the bank. Yeah, I think they'd be a little upset. Now, let's suppose in that suitcase was also not just the money, but like all of the secret plans that we have, you know, as a country and you lose it. That would be a big suitcase, but yes, they'd be upset about that. Well, it's on a thumb drive, but it's a big thumb, but it's a thumb drive.
Starting point is 01:24:08 Isn't that kind of what this F-35 story is? the pilot goes out with a $150 million plane that has all of our most precious secrets in the plane. He ejects, we don't know why. It was on autopilot. And it's a stealth plane so you can't track it. They don't know where it is. He ejects and it goes down somewhere and they've been looking for it near Charleston, South Carolina. and they couldn't find it, couldn't find it.
Starting point is 01:24:42 And now they just found it. And they have the Navy, or I'm sorry, the Marines going in, searching for all of the pieces of this plane. I don't know. That's more than a bad day for the pilot. Suboptimal. Suboptimal. Suboptimal.
Starting point is 01:24:59 And the transponder that is on the plane just wasn't working. You know, it wasn't. It's a very weird story, I will say. Yeah. Yeah, I hope there weren't any Chinese fishing boats out in the area or maybe a Chinese balloon that might have been in the area. Back in a minute. The Glenn Beck Program. Sponsored by Jace Medical.

Okay, somebody who I think exists to make the rest of us look bad. He's the number one New York Times bestseller and USA Today bestselling author of more than 40 novels. Who does that except a show-up? There are currently more than 35 million copies of his books in print worldwide, translated into more than 24 languages.
Starting point is 01:30:03 Richard is also the recipient, but he's not 80, and that's how many countries there are. So there's got to be at least 80 languages. Richard is the recipient of numerous awards, including two first-place storytelling world awards, the Romantic Times Best Women's Novel of the Year Award, and five-time recipient of the Wilbur Award. Seven of Richard's books have been produced as television movies, but not eight.
Starting point is 01:30:28 His first feature film, The Noel Diary, starring Justin Hartley from This Is Us, is debuting, well, debuted last year. In 2011, he began writing Michael Vey, a number one New York Times best-selling young adult series, which has won more than a dozen awards. there's nine number one sellers in that one. Richard is now the founder of the Christmas Box International, an organization devoted to maintaining emergency children's centers and providing services and resources for abused, neglected, and homeless children, and young adults.
Starting point is 01:31:06 To date, more than 125,000 youths have been helped by the charity for his humanitarian work. Richard has received the Washington Times, not the humanitarian of the year. Oh, no, that's too small for Richard. He won the Humanitarian of the Century Award. And the Volunteers of American National Empathy Award. He's a showoff and he's here.
Starting point is 01:31:31 Hello. How are you, Richard? That was a very generous introduction. Well, I'm a slacker. You are? Really? Yeah, right. You make me feel like I've done nothing in my life.
Starting point is 01:31:43 Richard Paul Evans is with us. You have Michael Vey 9 coming out. Congratulations, Richard. It's a great series. Thank you. This one is called The Trader. Tell me about it. Well, the last book, Michael Vey 8, ended on a cliffhanger because Michael's best friend went to the other side.
Starting point is 01:32:11 And if you like politics inside books, you'll love this one because it's a very compelling argument about where America is today and why Jack leaves. Give me a bit of the argument. Well, he just says it's a crumbling culture, and some things, ideologies endure. So, and the Chaskey had been around. So we've been around for hundreds and hundreds of years. We're just waiting at our turn. Okay.
Starting point is 01:32:42 So tell me, where did you get this idea? I mean, this is the one thing I love about really great authors is they go different places, they see different things, write them down, and then just churn on it for a while. Yeah, this one, I was in a hotel room, right? I called my watch because you're coming home, I said, honey, I've got to go to the Amazon. Like, what? I need to go into Amazon. And I've already booked my flight.
Starting point is 01:33:13 I go deep in the Amazon. It wasn't fun, lots of mosquitoes. But, like, I'm just kind of putting the story together. And I go, are there any air strips? And I go, well, there's a drug cartel house when about 30 miles ago. Let's go see. And he goes, are you stupid? No.
Starting point is 01:33:29 I said, well, they're not going to be using it right now. It's like, how do you know that? Okay, I'll give that to you. We won't go to the airstrip. Yeah, that's probably a pretty good idea. Probably a pretty good idea. Richard, tell me the, you know, we have so many people that have been reading this series. and I just, I know you do and I do as well,
Starting point is 01:33:49 just think this would make the greatest TV series ever. And it is changing the lives of kids. And it started really with your son, right? It did. My son, Michael, has Tourette syndrome. And by the way, he adores you, Glenn. He's a good kid. He is a good kid.
Starting point is 01:34:11 But he struggles with, you know, with his Tourette's. And I wanted to kind of normalize Tourette syndrome. I was hoping kids would read it. What I found is that the whole series has really appealed to kids with any disability, especially autism. I have a grandson with autism. And it's like it's just really, I mean, I'm at signing. I remember when I'm six, the first six kids had autism and lying.
Starting point is 01:34:36 And one of the parents said, you've never come out for anything. And I go, I love it because they feel empowered. They feel strong. They feel normalized. and because my main character has a disability, has threats. I remember I call it a disability because I have threats and it's like, I think it's opened many doors for me. So I love that.
Starting point is 01:34:54 I love that about Dave, but Michael's a good kid in the world of swagger and trying to be mean. It's like Michael loves his mother. Yeah. So, you know, he's a good kid. And I got a letter from a young woman in Paris a few years ago. And she goes, Mr. Evans, you probably even wondered where I am.
Starting point is 01:35:15 He said, who is he? He goes, she goes, keep reading. And she goes, I'm in the hospital. I tried to take my life.
Starting point is 01:35:24 I only have one friend in this world. And it's Michael Baines. He's here in bed with me. Just I'm holding the book. And thank you so much for giving me someone I can believe in. And it's like, that is the kind of experience I'm having around the world. And it is a global bestseller.
Starting point is 01:35:39 There's more than three and a half million copies in print. And, haven't started Michael Vay. It gets kids to read. It's like, do it. Trust me, they'll like it. They'll like it. So I will tell you that my son, Raff, is a voracious reader.
Starting point is 01:35:56 He was reading, oh, my gosh. I think he read The Hunger Games by the time he was eight. And I'm like, dude, dude, maybe not the Hunger Games. And he's like, Dad, really good. Well written. I'm like, okay. And every summer, we would. read the Michael
Starting point is 01:36:15 Veigh, the new Michael Vey. And we did it year after year. My son has gone to college, and I'm bummed that we're not going to be reading the next one together. But he loved them, and he read them every single summer. We would read, I mean, it was a tradition of ours, and it is a great memory for both of us. So thank you for that, Richard.
Starting point is 01:36:40 Oh, I love that. I love that. So when is it come out? Is it out today? It comes out today. Today is Day Day Day. So number nine comes out today. Okay. And I mean, you remember Glenn a few years ago. I had finished this series at number seven. And people are saying, well, why did you start it up again? You know, part of it was COVID. It was just, I mean, I'm getting thousands of letters from kids saying, please continue.
Starting point is 01:37:04 And they're giving me plot ideas. And I just missed the kids. I mean, my last signing for number seven, we had four thousand. kids can't be a book sign. I'm not exaggerating. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Richard, thank you so much. If you want to get a copy of this, it's on stores now. If you haven't read the series, you should start at number one, but number nine is out now. And it is just a great series.
Starting point is 01:37:31 You know how we were talking just the other day? All of our kids and our families, we sit down. We were just talking about football. And, you know, that Exorcist commercial came on. over the weekend. You're like, can, can we just have anything that we can do together as a family? Is there anything that's not going to insult us or assault us? And this is it. The Richard Paul Evans, uh, electrifying series, Michael Vey. It is back. Michael Vey, nine, the trader. Get it now. Read it with your family. You will have a blast. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 01:38:13 Richard. Thank you, Glenn. You bet. Bye-bye. Okay, our sponsor this half hour is Car Shield. Warranties are designed to expire, and that's just the truth. Starting point is 01:39:49 10 seconds, station ID. So, New York City Council just passed a budget. It's spending some of its time now, advancing a plan that would get rid of those offensive monuments honoring figures such as Columbus and General George Washington. The Democratic-led... No. This is Democratic.
Starting point is 01:40:22 Listen to the name of it and you'll see. It's Democratic-led. Okay. The Democratic-led Cultural Affairs Committee is set to hold a public hearing today on a proposal to yank artworks from city property dedicated to historic figures such as George Washington, Christopher Columbus, and others because of their controversial past. Now, let me ask you, do you know anyone who doesn't have a controversial past? Today? Today? No.
Starting point is 01:40:50 Everyone does. My guess is if allowed for a full investigation, every member of the Cultural Affairs Committee would have a controversial past. Right. Okay. So, you know, Angelo. Angelo is the president of Columbus Heritage Coalition. He came up as a Columbus was a migrant. He vowed to fight any attempt to remove the monument.
Starting point is 01:41:18 and that is one of the most famous places. There's two places that are very, very famous. One is Columbus Circle. Columbus Circle. And it has the statue of Columbus right in the center of it. The other one is the big arch down by NYU. What's it called? What's it called?
Starting point is 01:41:39 Oh, the Washington Arch. And it is to celebrate the victory of George Washington. And there's a statue there. So you'd have to take the art. and chisel everything off, or, you know, just take, get rid of the arch because it's history. And then take away the statue as well, which would be, you know, hey, it would be. It would be something there. This is a bizarre thing.
Starting point is 01:42:08 And I think this is actually sort of a good sign for our society in a way. because you go through our history and there were times in which people were really bad to each other. There were real problems in our country. I don't know if anyone's looked back in our history and all. There's been some eras of strife, I would say.
Starting point is 01:42:29 All right. And it's like when you get to a point where what you're mad about or statues, probably means your real problems have gone away. Yeah. You know, I think in reality, what you're completely,
Starting point is 01:42:42 about here maybe isn't real. Like, if you have someone who has oppressed you, right? That's really bad. And then you go through a period where the oppressor, let's just say, is so adored, like the Civil War icon or something, go back to, you know, for the Confederacy. And they're so adored that they get statues made of them. That era might be bad for other reasons. the era in which everyone's like
Starting point is 01:43:14 our big problem today is the statue they made of the bad guy from 150 years ago that era is not that bad that era is actually pretty sweet maybe people should recognize that it's not quite as oppressive as they might be claiming but what about the statue
Starting point is 01:43:30 of the guy that's 500 years okay yeah well of course I mean we got to get rid of that one right right like did you see this controversy with the the Ebram X. Kendi
Starting point is 01:43:45 where one of his I guess co-antiracist activist is now saying that he's been oppressed by Ebram Kendi and this is going to be a cycle that goes on forever. So so great. But when you read his post he says it goes on and on and on and then he says anti-racism because he's mad at Ebrom Kendi
Starting point is 01:44:04 from manipulating I guess him and their other workers. Anti-racism is not a branding exercise. our campaign or path to self-promotion. I have terrible news for you. It's only those three things. That's all it's ever been from the very beginning. It's just that. And now you've been oppressed by that while participating in that.
Starting point is 01:44:28 This is just like you get to a point where there are people around the world really struggling with real things. And we're like, well, what about that arch? I just, come on. what about that painting of Jefferson that's in the city hall that everybody's talking about? You know that Columbus Circle? Still got Columbus in the circle. We got to get Columbus out of the circle.
Starting point is 01:44:56 Okay, dummy. Can you imagine? How pissed would you be if you lived in New York right now? Oh, God. I mean, you'd be insane. You'd be like, uh, that lady was just raped a block and a half ago. that guy was shot in the foot, that one was just robbed,
Starting point is 01:45:15 and you're sitting here talking about Columbus! And you know what? This story, if covered on CNN, will get favorable coverage, that these people are questioning these things, despite the fact that CNN as a corporation picked Columbus Circle to build their headquarters in New York. They could have picked any other street.
Starting point is 01:45:38 Or in any other circle? Any other circle in the city. They picked that one because it's nice. And it overlooks as you know, Glenn. You remember from back in the day, first of all, fantastic lunchroom. The best lunchroom I've ever been in my entire life at a workplace. Food fantastic. Overlooks Central Park overlooks the Columbus Circle statue.
Starting point is 01:46:02 You can see it right out the window. It's beautiful. We could see it every day at work because we just looked out over the, you know, the newsroom, which was the pit of despair, right into Columbus. Right into Columbus. And, you know, they could, they could have, they could have boarded up the windows so their company, their employees wouldn't see that oppression. But no, they, they kept those glass windows, nice and clear. So everyone could look out and see that oppressor Christopher Columbus, right in the middle of the circle. Yeah. Well, I've got some more good
Starting point is 01:46:31 news for you. Um, woke LGBTQ Americans are shocked, shocked to find out. I can fairly even read this. To find out the Muslim community does not support their values. What? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, what?
Starting point is 01:46:50 The people who brought you Sharia law, they don't. Oh, no. Sharia law is a scam. That's actually a right-wing conspiracy theory. Oh, is it? Yeah. You don't remember that. All right.
Starting point is 01:46:59 So those devout people of a devout faith where, you know, they like to cover up the bodies of people, not the way you do in New York. but cover up living bodies, you know, women. You thought they were for the gay pride parades? If they come up with a trans spokesman, I'm definitely saying it's not believable. That's one step too far for me. But it is, it's amazing because, you know,
Starting point is 01:47:31 the right is seen as these horrible. Again, oppressors in this situation. And I think like the stance of the. right, which is basically like, look, just don't force your stuff on us. And we'll, we don't want the government forcing anything on anybody. And you do your thing. And please let us, we reserve the right to judge your behavior if we, if we feel like it. But we're all going to kind of do our own thing. That seems oppressive to you, I know, but wait until you see the Islamic version of this, because you're not going to like it. It's not a live and let
Starting point is 01:48:01 live situation in this Islamic countries. In some states, some countries, it begins with a tour of the roof. You know? The people were paying billions of dollars to right now in foreign countries for our hostages. Those people, yeah, it usually starts and but it doesn't, it's the last stop on the tour. I'll say that. Well, there is one more stop and that stop is pretty abrupt. It's very abrupt.
Starting point is 01:48:28 It's very abrupt. Sadly very abrupt. But you just keep on thinking that that, them banning the pride flags in the city property is an act of betrayal. Oh, that shows how stupid you really are. The Glenn Back Program. Now picture yourself and your family in a moment of real crisis. Okay? Everybody's screaming.
Starting point is 01:48:54 All the stores have lines of people stretching around the block, waiting to get to the aisles that have already been picked clean. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Sure. Starting point is 01:50:27 read this from the BBC. From the BBC, Russell Brand resurfaced clips give a sobering reminder of naughty's culture. The notis are the knots, you know, as in the zero-zero-zero's of the early
Starting point is 01:50:49 century, the early part of the zeros are the naughties. We're being very naughty right now. From BBC, The Notties aren't so long ago that it's possible to dismiss them as a different age, but there are parts of the decade that British culture would rather forget. Russell Brand was at the center of a messy celebrity scene in the 2000s that now feels like the cool Britannia party gone sour.
Starting point is 01:51:16 The recent allegations against the comedian and resurfaced clips of things he said and did on the air and on stage have provided a sobering reminder of the seedyer side of pop and media culture in that decade. Okay. Hang on. All right, first of all. Russell Brand is kind of like their Howard Stern. Okay?
Starting point is 01:51:40 Okay. You know exactly what you were getting in those days with Russell Brand. Okay? Just think Howard Stern. Now, it's provided a sobering reminder of the seetier side of pop. media culture in that decade. Could I just ask the BBC to turn on the radio and listen to the lyrics of songs they're now playing? Because I guarantee there's something playing on the BBC about somebody's butt doing something.
Starting point is 01:52:14 Among the claims, now listen to this. Resurface Clips is what this is all about. Among the claims in Channel 4's recent dispatched investigation into the Star, there was a clip from his BBC Radio 2 show in 2007 that seemed to have gone largely unnoticed at the time. In it, Brand interviewed Jimmy Seville. Now, Jimmy Seville was a big, big radio host. The, you know, top of the pops. Top of the pops.
Starting point is 01:52:48 Everybody loved Jimmy Seville. They found out that he's a child predator and was molesting kids in the hospital. while he was visiting. But nobody knows this at the time. Among claims in Channel 4's recent dispatches, it shows him on BBC in 2007. In it, Bran interviewed Jimmy Seville and apparently offered up his very attractive assistant
Starting point is 01:53:13 to go meet him naked. Sound like Howard Stern? Right. Okay. This is in 2007. He said this to the BBC host of Top of the Pop. another BBC host said hey I
Starting point is 01:53:32 go ahead and take my assistant here she'll get naked funny he said naughty word naughty get it okay when did they expose so to speak Jimmy Seville being a child
Starting point is 01:53:49 predator when was that still 2012 2012 so something that That went unnoticed in 2007. Because no one knew about the accusation. No one knew about it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:54:09 While the clip was from before Seville had been exposed as a serial sexual predator, it scarcely believed now that it was broadcast on Britain's biggest radio station. You know, wait a minute. Hang on just a second. Not that Russell Brand said that. That's not really the problem, the BBC. The problem is you hired that guy and held them up as a hero for decades on the BBC. It's one of several clips of brand pushing the line between outrageous and offensive stuff that were used in a Channel 4 documentary on Saturday. Okay.
Starting point is 01:54:48 They're doing an expose on what they aired 20 years ago and making Russell Brand into the bad guy. you aired it you aired it I mean it's like it's it's it's like Westwood 1 coming in and saying let me tell you something I want to show you some videotape
Starting point is 01:55:13 of what Howard Stern was doing yeah because you were paying him to do it how is that a problem for him and not you I don't know it's crazy and they actually are sort of doing that to start now, right? Like, there's definitely people who are out there looking for... Looking, you spend five minutes and you can find it. You know, of course.
Starting point is 01:55:37 I actually, just over the September 11th, you know, anniversary happened to stumble upon this Howard Stern show from September 11th. Wow! It is a different era. Yeah. The, the difference in what, as that's going on, they're watching planes hit the buildings in real time and why. It's a fascinating thing to watch it from a historical. perspective, but the anger on the show and the way that they were talking, the words they were saying, the things that came out of their mouths, the, it was, I mean, were they singing songs about doing things with people's butts? They were not.
Starting point is 01:56:12 Okay. It was none of that. They were doing that right before the segment. Okay. Right before the planes actually hit the buildings. But it was interesting to just hear the, I mean, Robin Quivers in particular, like, was ready to nuke the entire Middle East. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:56:24 It was like, it was pretty interesting to watch. But like they're going back, you go back and watch those shows. Look, it was a different time. You're going to judge these by today's standards. That's always dumb. It's always dumb to go back to a previous era and judge it by today's standards. It's always dumb to do that. And it does seem to be what everyone wants to do.
Starting point is 01:56:46 Well, I just can't take the employer doing a documentary on how outrageous he was and how he should be stoned to death. at the time they were paying him to do those things. I mean, that takes quite the balls. Well, and the BBC in particular is in the Russell Brand situation is specifically accused. Like, they are like, they were saying they were helping it along. Yeah. That's the accusation.
Starting point is 01:57:17 Yeah. Yeah. So maybe somebody should do a documentary on BBC. Right. Like they were sending cars to pick up the girls that were six. years old for Russell Brand. Which, by the way, was not illegal at the time. It sounds horrible, but it wasn't illegal at the time.
Starting point is 01:57:33 And that's, no one's just saying that it was illegal, but not necessarily the best. Now, why is this all happening to him? Why? Why? Why? Why? It's a good question. I think there's a very obvious answer to it. Go ahead. Well, when he was famous and married to Katie Perry and doing all this, there was no news of these accusations. He was known as a, you know, a bad guy, right? Like a very promiscuous guy to his own telling. He wrote a book about it. He was addicted to drugs.
Starting point is 01:58:00 He was addicted to alcohol. And he's changed all of that. He says he's changed all of that and has become a commentator who has been skeptical of some of the things you're not allowed to be skeptical of. Like COVID. Climate change. Climate change. ESG standards. Yeah. The world economic forum is his biggest thing.
Starting point is 01:58:20 Hmm. And now he's being targeted for this. Now he's being targeted for that. I think you, of course, would agree that if he committed horrible crimes against people, he should be punished for them. Yes. Even if he has reformed his character, he still is held responsible for crimes. Yes. But this does not seem to be what's...
Starting point is 01:58:38 It may not be what's going on. In this culture where we just make accusations and we destroy people. Now, listen. Agreed. Russell Brand has now been demonetized by YouTube. Now, what does that mean? Russell Brand makes his money on his YouTube videos. Okay?
Starting point is 01:58:59 So they've just demonetized him. So they won't sell or give him any money for what he's doing. The BBC said it to remove some programs featuring him from its streaming services. So they were still paying for the guy. Now it looks like YouTube is doing. the same. I'm trying to find the YouTube because the quote from YouTube
Starting point is 01:59:28 is absolutely amazing. Where is it? Where is it? Brent took his online social media platforms, blah, blah, saying it was a coordinated attack. Yes, it was. They said that
Starting point is 01:59:44 now I can't find the exact quote. While you're looking for that, can we just think about quickly about what the line is here? Because there's a process that goes on. when you are going to be convicted of a crime. And that begins with an accusation, then becomes an investigation, then comes a charge filed against you,
Starting point is 02:00:05 then comes a conviction, then comes a sentence, a sentence, right? Why can't these companies just draw a line? Like, make the line, what's the line? A charge? Right, like if someone gets criminally charged with something,
Starting point is 02:00:20 we're going to pull them off of our service. Is that fair? I don't know. I would say conviction is the one. That's what I would go with personally. If you're convicted of a crime, even if you might still say you're innocent, and we have to have some way of sorting this out. That's what our legal system is for.
Starting point is 02:00:36 And if you want to do that, then, you know, if you want to take it off early, you just pay the person. Pay the person. Yeah. So they don't destroy their life. Yeah. The NFL, if you're under contract and someone comes up with an accusation and they think they need to pull you off. They pull you out and they put you on the commissioner's suspended list, but you're still getting paid because, look, there's no conviction. Nothing has been proven.
Starting point is 02:00:58 If you're proven in a court of law to be guilty of a crime, it makes sense you might want to, like that is the line probably. Instead, what it is is if someone accuses you. Now, of course, people have been saying bad things about Russell Brand for a really long time. He's been saying bad things about himself for a very, very long time. All the money that came through YouTube was fine until this news story was written. Again, he has not been even charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one. He has not even been charged. He may be charged and convicted later on.
Starting point is 02:01:29 He might be. But he hasn't been yet. Correct. He says his relationships were always consensual. He was accused of rape and sexual assaults between 2006 and 2013. He denies the claims. Were any charges filed? Did anybody go to the police at the time?
Starting point is 02:01:46 anything, anything. He says it's no, I don't want to judge because I don't know the, we're not in a courtroom. But here's what YouTube said. You ready for this standard, Stu? See if this is a, see if this is a little earlier than conviction. If a creator's off-platform behavior harms our users, our employees or ecosystem, we take action. Now, I don't know how his off-platform behavior in 2006
Starting point is 02:02:30 harmed the- Was that before YouTube even existed? Yeah. Armed your users, employees, or ecosystem. What they're saying is, if somebody calls in our ecosystem and says, I can't believe you guys are doing this, I'm not going to advertise or I'm not going to provide that, you know, that chair for your conference room. I'm not going to do it because you would keep him up.
Starting point is 02:02:55 That harms the ecosystem and they can take action. This is this. We live in the Salem witch trial times. It's true. And you know what, though? I can understand how these companies react this way. I mean, go back to your book, Dark Future and a great reset. And then great example of this is Twitter.
Starting point is 02:03:15 you know, you go use Twitter or whatever the heck they're calling it this week. And I mean, if I get another ad for Cheech and Chong Gummies, I'm going to, like, every one of their ads are just trash. Because there's no companies on there anymore. They've all just left because Elon Musk said, you're allowed to speak freely. So all the companies just left. I mean, he himself is saying that the revenue is down 80%. And he himself is being charged with crimes that are. are not crimes. He's charged with not hiring, you know, new migrants that don't have green card,
Starting point is 02:03:52 don't have anything. That is the DOJ and the Pentagon's rule for a rocket company. It's unbelievable. Christy wrote in about her dog's experience with Rough Green. She says, we have two pointers who hunt at least four days a week, if not more. Their skin has been dry, flaky. Their coats dull and rough. Well, within two weeks of using rough greens, we've been able to see a bounce back level energy, as well as their coats being amazingly shiny and smooth and no more dry flaky skin. We couldn't be happier. Christy, thank you for writing in.
Starting point is 02:04:28 That's a lot of hunting. God bless you, but I need to know where you live so I can go get meat from you someday. This is not a dog food. Starting point is 02:05:02 Join the conversation. 888727. Beck, the Glenn Back program. It's never too early to plan your summer story in Europe with WestJet from rolling countryside. to cobblestone streets. Begin your next chapter. Book your seat at westjet.com or call your travel agent. Westjet, where your story takes off. Gosh, darn it, I'm out of time, and I'm not going to have time to play the Kamala Harris
Starting point is 02:05:47 on combating environmental racism. That is exactly what I would expect out of you. Oh, no, I do have time. I do. Here we go. Play it. Got six, please. or not no apparently that was apparently don't have time for that one
Starting point is 02:06:08 see again you you he were like now people will say oh I guess Glenn doesn't isn't an environmental racist but you could see in reality he was just playing this off what is the how is environmental racist how are you you just you pollute in bad sections of town where they're minorities basically the case right like you let all the pollution happen in countries that of people who don't look like
Starting point is 02:06:30 and areas, you know, near the airport where minorities live in their words. And that's, I guess, some way of, you make the nice suburbs where whiteys live, that's the nice clean area. And you put all the pollution down in the bad areas. Yeah, we do. And that, especially air pollution, it stays there. It does. That's the nice thing. Here it is, here it is.
Starting point is 02:06:53 Question for you is, what measures do you support to combat environmental racism and its impact on vulnerable populations. Yeah, yeah. Here comes a great answer. There's so much there. I mean, we talked about it in terms of equity and inclusion and diversity, right? We need to, first of all, agree and
Starting point is 02:07:15 acknowledge that there are systems that have been long in place that need to be reformed. So, for example, our criminal justice system. Oh, yeah. And the work that we need to do to recognize the disparities that exist there.
Starting point is 02:07:31 Well, I got to tell you, so far what they've done to revamp our criminal justice system, it's working really well, do they? The Glenn Back Program.
