Telecharge it,
The president of the United States?
Wait a minute.
It's a Monday.
Does anybody know who the president is?
Does anybody have a clue where the president is?
No, seriously, we have a president.
I swear to you, Kamala Harris said we did just the other day.
We'll get the real answer in just a moment.
This holiday season, I want you to grab the protein bar that actually tastes like a candy bar.
I think it is a candy bar, but it's like in my world where candy bars would be good for you as well.
Built bars are filled with so much holiday goodness, they're practically Santa.
They're rich with flavor covered in real chocolate yet amazingly low in calories, sugar, net carbs, and fat.
And, of course, they're high in protein.
So you get the best of both worlds, delicious and healthy.
Built bar comes in so many flavors, you're going to have a hard time choosing.
You want the raspberry or the mint brownie.
Cookies and cream, the peanut butter brownie.
They're delicious.
The holidays are stressful.
Built bars are going to give you that extra fuel you need to barge through those mall doors
and battle against all the other holiday shoppers
or just standing in endless lines.
Built bars give you that extra something to keep you going.
So throw one in your jacket or your purse.
You never know when you're going to need it.
It's built bars.

Now you've got to think.
Somebody inside the White House said,
wait a minute, Charlemagne the God.
I think we remember that.
It is the Glenn Beck program.
Jeff Katz so thrilled and blessed to be sitting in for Glenn again today.
It's a beautiful Monday and you're thinking as I am, wait a minute, I know we had a president.
I kind of went to bed on Friday and I'm thinking we've got a president.
I sometimes have to wonder if he's all there.
I sometimes have to wonder if he's there at all.
You and I are thinking, well, I don't know, I remember this whole election thing and all right.
But we've kind of figured out that there's somebody in the Oval Office, right?
It's sort of like a giant weekend at Bernies.
I mean, Joe Biden is kind of the designated meat puppet,
and they put him over here,
and he reads whatever's on that teleprompter.
Generally, right down to the bottom where it says,
stop reading now, turn left, smile.
He doesn't even turn left or smile.
I mean, he's just there.
So the other day, we've got the vice president in the United States.
Remember her playing the part of the vice president, Kamala Harris,
while Joe Biden plays the part of the president,
and this, which is really,
if we want to be honest, kind of the third term for Barack Obama.
I mean, that's really where this all winds up, right?
So I've got a little snippet here, and I just want to share it with you.
And just, well, let's take a little.
Charlemagne the God and Kamala Harris, the vice president.
Who's the real president of this country?
Is it Joe Manchin or Joe Biden, Madam Vice President?
Come on, Charlemagne.
Come on, it's Joe Biden.
I can't tell sometimes.
No, no, no, no, no.
it's Joe Biden and don't start talking like a Republican about asking whether or not he's president.
Do you think Joe Manchin is a problem?
And it's Joe Biden. And I'm vice president. My name is Kamala Harris.
And my name is Jeff Katz, usually heard on News Radio WRVA in Central Virginia and this morning filling in for Glenn Beck.
Now that we've all identified each other, we've had our little introductions.
Hi, how are you? Nice to meet you. By the way, who is the president?
I got to tell you something.
Brilliant question.
And the answers, well, the answers are all out there.
They see, everybody's now torched inside the D.C. folks.
The Uber left is going,
Joe Manchin's not playing games.
Joe Manchin.
Oh, we should identify Joe Manchin.
Senator from West Virginia.
Gatfly, all around pain in the rear end.
If you're trying to just jam through the build back better thing, right?
We've all got to be on the hook for, I don't know,
half a billion, two billion, 20 billion, six trillion.
I've lost counts.
And in all candor, I went to public schools.
I can't count that high anyway.
Joe Biden says, listen, I'm going to do a deal.
I think this is where he whispered.
He does that creepy whisper thing.
But I think this is where he whispered.
I'm going to do a deal with Joe Biden.
Wait, Joe Manchin.
No, I'm Joe Biden.
No, hold on a second.
I'm Joe Biden.
And you're right.
You're not.
Okay.
Like an old Saturday Night Live skit.
we've got a deal
Joe Bott, no, I'm Joe Biden
Joe Manchin is
he's going to go along with this
we're going to build back better
and this is a great
re-s oh sorry that was on the notes
I'm not supposed to read that great reset
can you do me a favor please pretend
I didn't say that oh absolutely
Mr. President we'll we'll fix that in
post-production so anyway
we're going to take a whole slew of money
that we don't have
and we're going to spend it
on just a bunch of stuff we don't need.
And in fact, in that big pile of stuff,
there's a whole bunch of stuff we don't actually want either.
What could possibly go wrong?
Well, you and I know exactly what's going on right now,
and you and I know exactly what's going wrong right now.
I didn't even want to ask anymore who the president is
or where the president is.
You know the question I've got, where'd my country go?
Honest to goodness, I'm just trying to figure out.
out where the United States of America has gone.
I've experienced things in the last year.
I've never experienced in my life.
Look, I've got five decades of experience.
I'm just living.
I mean, it's not necessarily huge experience or great accomplishments.
But, you know, after 50 years, you say, I do know a thing or two.
And it's why when I hit 50, I became, as Glenn said, you know, a mature American, right?
Amac, I'm mature.
My wife would argue with that, but I'm pretty sure that I'm relatively mature.
So I experience some stuff I've never experienced before.
Let me give you the examples.
Thanksgiving.
I'm looking for turkeys.
You can't find turkeys.
There's a turkey shortage.
In 50-plus thanksgivings, I swear to you, I've never once thought,
oh, there's not going to be any turkey.
It was one time.
My brother, who was a chef down in Palm Beach, Florida,
he prepared leg of lamb,
which frankly ruined Thanksgiving for everybody
because who won something so delicious and delectable?
We're all looking forward to cousin Shirley's dried out
like shoe leather turkey, and that's what we expected,
and that's what we wanted,
and then my brother filled in that particular Thanksgiving
made leg of lamb with all sorts of vegetables I couldn't pronounce
and stuff I would never buy.
buy. And other than that, never a turkey problem. This year, I have to talk to a friend of mine
who actually owns a supermarket, big supermarket here in Virginia. And he had said to me,
says, Jeff, listen, I know your son's coming home from college. You got the family. You've got to
get a turkey ASAP. Seriously, when they come in, I'll put one aside for you. I said, okay. I said,
And I just thought he was being nice.
And he is a nice guy.
I said, but why do you have to do that, Tom?
And he says, well, there's a turkey shortage.
They can't be a turkey shortage.
I mean, you know, it's, there's never a turkey short.
He says, yeah, there is a turkey shortage.
And just to give you even more good news in about a month, remember this right before Thanksgiving,
he says in about a month, people are going to be celebrating Christmases.
Absolutely.
Everybody loves Christmas.
lights and decorations and, you know, for a handful of people, uh, the actual meaning of Christmas and
religion and charity and those things that, you know, in 2021, we all like to avoid. We shouldn't.
We'll talk a little bit about that, but we do. He says, there's a Christmas tree shortage. And I was
livid. There cannot be a Christmas tree shortage. That's insane. I love you. You're a great guy.
I think the world of you, still coming in to do my shopping there,
but there cannot be a Christmas tree shortage.
He was right on both counts, of course.
Have you been to a supermarket recently where there have been empty shelves?
Now, we live kind of out in the country, farmland.
It's a beautiful place called Hanover County, Virginia.
And don't even think about moving here.
We're all filled up.
No room for anybody else.
But we've got farms and we've got cows and there's grass and trees.
Like right now, I'm looking out this window from my broadcast hut and I can see trees.
And there's grass and some of it has gone dormant for the winter.
But trees and grass and other cool stuff.
And when I look at that window, that's the window I'm.
I always describe as my, seriously, you're an atheist window?
Like, can you look out this window, see what I am seeing, and then turn around and go,
yeah, I, that God stuff, I don't go along with that.
Oh, okay.
So I look at all of this.
And as I said, we're sort of out in the country.
So we've got a local supermarket, which is about five miles away.
And in fact, now when I think about it, we've got one five miles away.
another one maybe seven miles away, both the same brand or company.
And we'll go to one or the other when we need regular stuff.
You know, Jeff, we're out of half and half.
Major crisis.
Jeff, we need such and such.
Okay.
But when we do our big market visit, we drive probably, I don't know, 20, 25 minutes to this other store, which is in another area.
Because the quality is so much better.
But when we do our local marketing, local store, it's a big company.
Some of the shelves are empty.
I've never seen empty shelves at a supermarket.
The only time I've ever seen partially empty shelves have been at those times when people were, you know, restocking the shelves, putting fresh things up there.
But to walk into a major supermarket chain store and see empty shelves.
shelves. I just can't help but think to myself, that's not America. That's not at all what we
signed up for. I mentioned the half and half for a reason. I'm sitting here with a steaming
cup of coffee and I put half and half in it. I went into this big brand name store. It's two weeks
ago. And I went to the dairy section, refrigerator, to get half and half. We go through a lot
of half and half. And it's empty. I mean, not like a small container, not a big container, not a medium
there. There's nothing there, nothing but empty shelves. And so I find one of the employees. I said,
hey, can you get me a half and half from the back? I just assumed, right? Because after 50 years of living in the
States, I just assumed there'd be half and half in the back. She says, yeah, let me go back
and get you some. And she comes back out. She said, we have none. And I sort of chuck. What do you mean
you don't have any? We don't have any. How can you not have half and half? Sir, I don't know.
That's what you need to go look again. You don't understand. This is a crisis.
Sir, we don't have any. I'll get you the dairy manager. Okay. So here comes the dairy manager.
Where's the half and half? I don't know. We don't have any. What do you mean? You don't
half. When is it coming in? Is it going to be like in 20 minutes because I'll stand right here? I will
wait. I am not going to move till you get the half and half in. Sir, we don't have any.
When is it coming in? We're not getting any. What? Now, I'm a city guy, right? I didn't think
there was anything between the cattle, the head of cattle and the supermarket. I just assumed all
the meat came in styrofoam and shrink wrap and that's the way it was. I didn't realize it was
another part of this equation. I said, well, what do you mean you don't have any? We don't have any
at our warehouse. I said, so you're telling me there's not a single one of this brand name
supermarket that has half and half. That's right. And I thought to myself, well, there you go,

Jeff Katz sitting in for Glenn Beck today.
Coming up just a couple of moments from now, Mark Morgan is going to join us.
Now, the name is probably familiar to you because you've seen Mark Morgan testify before Congress, the House, the Senate.
You've seen him as a leader in the law enforcement community on the federal platform.
Mark Morgan's a fascinating guy, started his career.
The United States Marine serves as a Los Angeles police officer, goes to law school, winds up as one of the big bosses at the FBI,
winds up then appointed by President Barack Obama to be the chief of the United States Border Patrol.
But wait, there's more, because I know you're thinking, wait a minute.
Hold on.
That whole seventh floor of the FBI, not really crazy about those guys in the last couple of years.
I know.
But he wasn't there then.
He was there before that.
And appointed by President Obama, Jeff, is that really, really what we're interested in?
Well, he was then appointed by President Obama.
Trump to be the director, the commissioner of Customs and Border Protection. In other words,
Mark Morgan's one of those guys that I think you and I look at and say, wow, true, honest
to goodness, public servants. So he'll be with us in a couple of moments because the crisis on the
border is getting worse and it is all political. The crisis in the stores, I mean, it's a little
closer to home, right? I mean, I think about this and I wonder, you know, my boys are of
age that they are, well, they don't like trucks anymore. They don't like cars anymore.
My oldest guy just came home from college. He's a student. He's a sophomore. There it is.
At Stanford University. Brilliant kid. Brilliant kid. He just got an email. And he came up to me,
I guess two days ago, three days ago. He's a dad. I said, hey, dad. I said, yeah, I have to share
something with you. I'm thinking, oh my gosh, when your 20 year old, 20 year old son starts a sentence with,
Dad, I've got to share something with you. All sorts of crazy things run through your mind, right?
And what he had to share with me is that he had gotten an email from Stanford telling him,
you don't have to come back to campus. Now, I don't have to come back to campus. Now, I, I don't,
look at this kid, and I've always referred to him as our litigator, right? I mean, he's just
brilliant. He's always argued everything. Doesn't agree with anything I believe it. I mean,
just, whatever. But he is a brilliant young man. And I thought, well, there's no way he's getting
kicked out of school. His grades are exemplary. Let me, let me brag for just a moment. Now,
Jeff Katz's son is maintaining and has maintained for two years at Stanford University, a perfect
4.0 grade point average, but wait, there's more.
He's actually gotten A pluses, which I didn't even know you could get in college.
So he has a 4.2.
Now, that being said, I'm thinking, you're not going to get kicked out of college because of academics.
You're, I know you're not getting kicked out because of a failure to pay tuition,
because I just sold my spleen last week to pay.
for this quarter. So what is it? He says, because of the increase in COVID cases, the first two weeks
of this quarter, spring quarter, winter quarter, whatever it is, will be conducted virtually.
Now, this is how it started last year, or the year before. Or was it last year. When was our
coronavirus crisis? You know, for a second, I had kind of forgot.
about some of it, like we had sort of kind of gotten back to the real world and everybody had a life.
But wasn't it like 18 months ago, 20 months ago, where we were told, what was it then?
It was two weeks then, wasn't it?
Hey, two weeks to flatten the curve.
Yeah.
Now, I kind of thought to myself even then, two weeks.
But they're two government weeks.
So, all right.
I'm willing to cut you.
some slack. I'm thinking three, four weeks by the time you get the paperwork done, there's
going to be bureaucracy, there's machinery, minutia, manure, whatever it is, something with an M.
So, yeah, that, all right, four weeks. And then it was six weeks and eight, now here we are
what, 18, 19, 20 months later. The world, in many cases, has simply reopened, right? You look at
Florida, you look at Texas. Everybody's got to.
life. Then you look at some of these places and you think it to yourself, you can't even go outside
anymore. The city of Philadelphia is setting a brand new record for homicides, murders, nobody getting
prosecuted, but they're going to make five-year-olds and three-year-olds and four-year-olds wear masks.

And if you're looking for some of the things I've been talking about,
as I am thrilled to be sitting in for Glenn this morning,
you can hit me up on Twitter, Jeff Katz Show, Facebook.
I've got everything posted over.
there, The Jeff Kat Show, and give it a like if you don't mind, because I really do think it bugs
the people at Facebook, because I think they're kind of doing the stuff that the Twitter people did,
you know, where they would shadow ban and they take followers away and all that good stuff,
so help me annoy Facebook. Look for The Jeff Kat Show on Facebook. I mentioned to you,
we've got empty shelves, something I've never seen in my life. I swear to you, I've never seen
empty shelves like this in my life. We've got all of the discussions. We've got all of the discussions,
about COVID. We need to get jabbed. We shouldn't get jab. We need to get jab. We have to get
jabbed. You're going to get jabbed again and again. Whatever it is. Oh, and by the way,
just in case you didn't notice, we've got millions of people streaming into the United States
illegally via the southern border and, uh, no questions of them. Nothing. So what kind of sense does this
make? I have no idea. Mark Morgan is somebody who has served this nation for,
for decades.
United States Marine,
Los Angeles police officer
gets appointed
by President Obama
after his service in the FBI
to be the chief of the border patrol.
And then President Trump comes along and says,
hey, by the way, Mark, listen,
I want to change a little thing here
and I'm sure he's thinking, oh man, I know job.
And instead President Trump says,
I want you to be in charge of the entire thing,
Customs of Border Protection.
The man knows a thing or two
about what's going on.
and I'm so happy to say that he's joining us. Mark, thanks for being here.
Jeff, as well, I really appreciate you letting me on.
The pleasure is ours, and I hope I didn't miss anything,
because your CV is like 82 pages long,
so I just kind of got the highlights if that's okay.
It is. Unfortunately, when you ran off like that,
it makes me sound like I can't keep a job.
I think there's just somebody always coming along going,
Mark, we got something even better for you.
you know, as a matter of qualification, I want to point out again, and maybe you can discuss
this a little bit.
This is not like vast right-wing conspiracy, vast left-wing conspiracy, because you have served
presidents of all varieties, correct?
That's right.
35 years, six administrations, both Republican and Democrat.
As you said, I served as cheap the United States Border Patrol under the Obama administration
and then finished off my career as the Acting Commission of Customs and Border Protection
under the Trump administration. So, Jeff, you're absolutely correct. This is not a
person thing for me. This is about America. Well, let's talk about America then. I don't mean to
phrase it like this, but the hell is going on down there on the southern border. How can we not
say, please slow down as you're entering the country, if not, you know, stop completely?
That's exactly right. And this is why I like to, I try, every conversation I have, Jeff,
I try to introduce facts to that.
Facts that are undisputable that really tries to take politics out of it.
Let me give you a couple of facts that I think are very important.
The first 12 months, the first 12 months of the calendar year under this administration,
two million apprehensions.
That is more apprehensions our southwest border than in the history of our border,
more than in our lifetime that we've ever seen.
Another number, 600,000 Godaways.
Because border patrol, the very limited.
resources are being pulled off their national security mission to process two million apprehensions
large area of the border are wide open and this year 600,000 godaways that 600,000 illegal aliens that
evaded apprehension got past the border toll and made their way to every town, city, and state.
That, just for your listeners, that is the size of the state of Vermont just in the past 12 months.
The last number I'll give you 400,000 turnbacks. Those that tried the illegal entering, couldn't evade
apprehension but didn't want to get caught and turn back. Add that 3 million. Three million
immigrants have tried to have been successfully entered our southwest border in 12 months.
Okay. Now, the first number, though, Mark, 2 million apprehensions. Now, you know, I used to be a
cop. I'm thinking, man, that's a lot of busts. That's good news, isn't it? We're arresting a lot of
people that are breaking the law. I mean, isn't that a good number? It would be if you follow the
came through and consequences were actually applied and those that filed fraudulent or fake asylum
claims were removed it would be a good thing but that's not what's happening in this administration
they they have totally destroyed every effective you know the network i call it of tools authorities
and policies we had to actually apply consequences those that were breaking in our country and filing
false claims they're not doing that look here's another number of that two million you're looking at around a million
county year that they have released into the interior United States. Look, I was listening to you.
You're talking about how everybody's got to get jabbed, right? If you want to keep your job
on the table is American citizen, you've got to get jabbed. Guess what? They've released,
intention to release about a million illegal aliens into this country. The majority of them
are unaccompanied minors and families. And guess what? None of them, unless you're an uncumptuying
minor, you're not tested, nor is there a mandate to get jabbed. Although you've traveled through
COVID hotspots, you've been kept in overcrafts.
the un-sanitary stash houses for days and weeks before you illegally entering.
And what's this, what this administration says, no problem.
We're not going to test you.
There's no vaccine mandate.
Come on.
Even though their own CDC says when it comes to families, they should not let them in
to reduce a further spread of COVID.
That's where we're at right now.
Mark Morgan is joining us on the Glenn Beck program.
Mark served as the chief of the United States Border Patrol as the commissioner of
Customs and Border Protection.
So 2 million, you say there's no consequences.
Now that, all right, so you apprehend these people.
Just make this clear to me, Mark, and you got to speak slowly because I'm not nearly as smart as you are.
But you get these two million people and you do the paperwork and then what?
What, like a hug, a kiss, a pat on the rear end, like it's a football game?
What are we doing?
Yeah, it's even worse than that.
So what we did, one of the most significant loopholes that was created by just horrible legislation is,
is that if you were unaccompanied or mine or a family and you broke into our country,
we could not detain you.
We could not detain you long enough to get through the immigration proceedings, so you had to be released.
And we knew that more than 90% of those that we released that came here illegally did not have a valid asylum claim.
That's very, very important.
So they remained in the country illegally.
And we knew that under President Trump, we went to the president.
We said, Mr. President, this doesn't make sense.
He goes, oh, it doesn't.
So what can we do?
So that's how the Remain in Mexico program came.
Jeff, that was an instrumental program.
is it closed that loophole.
No longer was if you made it to our border illegally with a kid,
was that your automatic passport in the United States.
We said, no, we're not going to release you.
You're going to remain in Mexico.
You're still going to get due process to the United States,
still go through the assignment process,
but we're not going to release you to then abscond and never come to court again.
This administration stopped that, the remaining in Mexico program.
They reinstitute a catch and release.
So right now, if you're a family, you walk up to our border,
you say I'm here illegally.
Oh, by the way, I have COVID.
No problem.
come on in. They're going to process you, give you a hug, and they're going to give you a plane ticket
anywhere that that illegal alien wants to go in the United States. They're going to fly you, and they're
never going to hear from them again. Well, how do I get that deal? I could use a weekend away somewhere.
That's insane. Come on. That's just crazy.
It is, but I was just talking to a neighbor of mine whose father is from another country,
who came in legally, and he was talking about all the procedures, how he had to show his back
vaccine card, how he showed he was positive, you know, COVID test, went through all this.
This is a laborious process. He's never been before. And I was talked to him about what happens
illegally. I just explained to you. He goes, well, heck, next time I want to come see my daughter,
I'll just come in illegally to be a lot easier. No kidding. God, I just, listen, Mark, I, you know,
I just had a weekend where I had to take care of all the kids because Heidi, my wife is a devoted
New England Patriots fan and, you know, both divisions. No, no, that's all right. It's not
the Northern Division. It's the Southern Division now.
You know, Brady and Gronk down in Tampa Bay.
So she went to Tampa Bay for the weekend, hanging out,
although it's only the second time in Brady's NFL career he didn't throw a touchdown.
But she's there. She's on the beach. She's sending me pictures, all this great stuff.
My youngest kid, he's 17 years old, works literally across the street.
He walks from our house across the street. It's 90 seconds.
He has to have his COVID information.
They take tests.
But if he came across the border, it'd be like, hey, go to Tampa.
The weather's great.
You're listening to, let me give you another staff.
We're not making this up right now.
We have proof.
This comes from a lot of Democratic mayors on the southwest border that have to deal with the initial surge of the invasion of two million illegal aliens.
Up to 25 percent, and I'm being conservative, of illegal aliens crossing our border, have COVID.
25%. So, Jeff, we know that 25% of that 2 million, and then the 600,000 that get away, have active COVID.
But this administration is still allowing them in, not testing them, no vaccine mandate.
But if you want to do, as you just said, as American citizen, you have to be vaccinated.
And that definition is even expanding moves we go on.
And what planet does that, I mean, set aside how you feel that mandates or not.
But what planet does it make sense to apply the mandate with inconsistency?
That's where we get that this is not about science.
This is about politics.
All right.
And that's my final question to you.
Remind everybody, Mark Morgan, joining us was the chief of the Border Patrol under President Obama,
Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection under President Trump.
You've dealt with these guys.
I mean, you have been, you know, the very highest levels.
I couldn't get even on a guided tour close to the Oval Office.
So I honestly don't understand how this stuff works.
So how is it that this man, who's the president of the United States,
who I'm told is supposed to be upholding, defending, all that good stuff,
how can anybody think that this is a good idea?
Well, he does it.
And look, and this is where, look, I'm not just saying this again,
it doesn't bring me pleasure to say that because I have been in an Oval Office.
I've had conversations with a president.
And it's clear to me that the information is not getting to him,
a lot of this, that a lot of the policies being driven by ideologues and political appointees,
and then they're just giving him a cue card on what he needs to say.
You know, look, there's so many examples I could give you.
But when they were talking about the $450,000 payments to illegal aliens, if you remember that
real quick, Jeff, when he was asked, he hadn't been briefed on it, he didn't have a cue card
to read from, and he actually took a question from a reporter that he wasn't told to call on,
and he gave an honest response. And what was his response? The president said,
Come on, man. Well, that's ridiculous. We're not going to give a million dollars to illegal aliens. Guess what? It was true. It was happening. And listen, 24 hours after he'd been a brief fight by the ideologues, he had to backtrack it. That's where we're at right now in this country.
It's insane. Listen, Mark, number one, I appreciate everything you've done for my country. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Your service is noted and admired. And I also appreciate you making a couple of moments for us today. It's always a pleasure to chat with you.
you. I wish you Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. Hopefully we get a chance to talk again soon.
Merry Christmas. I have to say this. Go Kansas City Chiefs. Oh. All right. That's Mark Morgan,
who I really used to like a good guy. He's seen up close and personal what's going on. And it ain't that
pretty at all, as Warren Zeevon would say. Jeff Katz sitting in for Glenn Beck. It is the Glenn Beck program.
You've heard me talking about my pillow for years and how it's changed the way I sleep.

Beck. It's the Glenn Beck program. Jeff Katz, happy to be sitting in for Glenn today. A thrill and a
pleasure and an honor normally heard on News Radio WRBA in Central Virginia. We of course very, very
happy to be an affiliate of the Glenn Beck program. And I want to make sure that you take a look at
some of the things we're speaking about. One of my great resources is the blaze.com. Another one is
glenbeck.com. I've got a few other things if you want to hit me up on Facebook. One of the things
that that just occurred to me. Now, I live here in central Virginia. I'm so thrilled to be in
Virginia, but I've lived all over the country over the years. One of the places that we spent a lot
of time was Boston. My lovely bride is from this little town, this bucolic town on Buzzards Bay.
They're right by the water. There's never a crue.
crime, all the children are ideal and perfect, and, you know, the streets are paved with gold in
Marion, Massachusetts. And I'm from the city of Philadelphia, where, well, they're not paved
with gold. That's all I can tell you. And while Heidi spent her life smiling and searching out
unicorns and rainbows, I was a cop, right? Very first police job, by the way, one of the greatest was
with the North Wildwood Police Department,
North Wildwood, New Jersey.
What a great community.
I was a summer cop there.
Spent most of my time, actually,
truthfully, just chatting with the college girls
who drove the tram car.
But that's besides a point.
But Boston is someplace where we've spent a lot of time.
And now, first of the year, apparently, guess what?
No eggs.
There'll be no eggs served anywhere in Massachusetts.
Now, why is this?
Well, Jeff, you just told us that Joe Biden
screwed everything off.
I mean, they're empty shelves because of Biden.
This is not Biden. It's another set of crazy Democrats, but it's not Biden.
The lunatics who are absolutely fervently convinced that chickens are people too
have made it fundamentally illegal to sell eggs.
They have all sorts of housing requirements now for chickens, hens.
They have to have a certain accommodation, certain food, certain, you know, friendly people to talk to them and massage them.
And so the farmers are saying, no eggs for you.

Jeff Katz, happy to be sitting in for Glenn today.
And I just mentioned to you, chickens are people and cows are people.
The only thing that aren't people are people, according to the Uber leftists among us.
Now, why do I bring it up?
If you're with me, you're looking at the blaze.com.
And there's great story there.
all about the insanity in Massachusetts.
Now, I lived and worked in Massachusetts for a long time.
My lovely bride is from Massachusetts.
I know Massachusetts.
And Massachusetts, you are no Texas.
I'm just going to say that, and I have to reiterate it.
Massachusetts is not Texas, is not Florida.
And here where I am, I'm in Central Virginia on News Radio, W.R.
RVA. After January the 15th, Massachusetts, you won't be any Virginia either because we're
about to make a big change here in Virginia. You know what happened here in Virginia? We had
people, parents, that said, whoa, hang on a second here. You're doing what in schools? And you're
involving my kids? No, no, we're just not going to do that. And a really interesting
thing happened here. And I'm so excited because my soon-to-be governor in Virginia
picked up on this. Glenn Yonkin. He's a very, very successful businessman, and he said,
you know, I'm going to run for governor. And a lot of people said, yeah, sure, everybody's,
you know, running for governor. But he heard we, the parents. That was the difference. And I just
want to, I don't want to preach, but I got to tell you, wherever you are, we, the parents,
is a powerful clarion call. Because you and I, as moms and dads, have, we have an obligation,
don't we? We have a responsibility to our kids. Sometimes they're a pain in the rear end. I mean,
I don't want to lie. I'm just telling you, sometimes, maybe your kids are perfect, might or not.
not by a long stretch.
But you love them, you take care of them, you know, you water them, give them plenty of sunlight,
man, they grow up.
And then, you know, the plan is they leave.
Sometimes they stick around.
But we, the parents, here in Virginia anyway, said, we're not going to have our children subjected to just bat-crap craziness.
We're not going to have you filling their heads with not.
with critical race theory.
And I know Glenn has done such a great job of explaining critical race theory.
I mean, it really is.
It's just critical theory with a little, a new name.
It's this whole Marxist thing.
Remember, we're going to knock somebody down.
So we have to build this straw man.
Oh, all of you evil business people.
Oh, all of you folks trying to make a lib, blah, blah, blah.
You're evil.
And it's only because of you that I'm not successful.
Okay.
It's a good way to go.
But we the parents said, guess what?
We don't want you telling our kids that they're victims.
There were a whole slew of moms and dads of all races, nationalities, and ethnic backgrounds and religion, everything.
Black, white, Asian, Latino, short, tall, fat, skinny, ugly, some less than ugly.
I mean, but you see what I'm saying?
And they said, we're just not going to have you telling our children at five years old or six years old.
Yep, you're a victim.
You're thoroughly oppressed.
You'll never amount to anything.
Oh, and by the way, little person, you see that other little person across the room?
Yeah, that's why you can't do anything because they did it all.
They took it all.
And little person number one's going, that's my friend.
That's my pal.
I mean, we just hang out.
No, no, no.
No, you shouldn't do that because you.
Your skin tone doesn't match his skin tone or your skin tone doesn't match her skin tone.
So you can't be friends.
Well, but we are.
Well, that's just wrong.
No, we'll have to fix that all.
You can't do that.
And then on the other side, same lunatics from the AFT, the N EA, all of these big teacher organizations.
The Uber leftists among us there, they're saying, hey, you, you, the little kid over there.
Yeah.
You know, your friend is a victim?
What? Yeah, and it's because of you. You're a rotten, miserable little creature.
Yeah, but that's my friend. You can't be friends with him or her. You can't be friends because you're going to oppress them.
So we, the parents said, eh, thank you, no. Then we had a case which made national, international news.
Right up the road, a place called Loudoun County, Virginia. Loudoun County School Board comprised of all of the
fine upstanding leftist who went along with every single agenda item that they were told to go
along with. They said, hey, we're having a new transgender policy. So, if a boy says he identifies
as a girl, he can use the girl's bathroom, girl's locker room, and if girl says she identifies
as a boy, she can use the boy's locker room, the boy's bathroom, everything will be fine,
keep moving along, nothing here to see. And then something happened. A boy,
13, 14 years old wearing a skirt,
said he identified his girl,
or at least that's what we were told.
And he was in the girl's bathroom.
And he sexually assaulted a girl in that girl's bathroom.
And the school said,
ooh, that's not going to look good for us.
Let's just move him belong to another school.
Don't tell anybody.
No, no reports.
We don't need to, no paperwork.
Just move them along to another school.
And they did.
And the boy in the skirt?
Right.
Sexually assaulted.
Another girl in another bathroom at another school.
And parents, be they Democrat or Republican, liberal, or conservative said, yeah, that's it.
And they threw the flag.
We threw the flag.
And that's why we elected these new leaders here in Virginia.
Now, I mentioned that only because it's the most important issue in our time.
and I'm just curious.
I wanted to get a handle on this.
If you're seeing the same sort of nonsense in your area,
8887-7-27 Beck,
AAA-7-27-B-E-C-K,
I would love to know
if it's just Virginia or are other people
saying, yeah, we are going to stand up.
We're going to do something about it.
This obligation to our children is either real or it's not.
It's either serious or it's not.
I mentioned the chicken story.
If you go to the blaze.com, you'll see the story about the lunatics in Massachusetts.
That's where this whole little chat began, right?
In Massachusetts, voters said, yes, we need more rights for chickens.
What?
Yep.
Every...
to have a minimal amount of space in the henhouse.
What?
Yeah.
And we want them to have certain types of food.
Like what?
Are we ordering in?
Is it an Uber Eats thing?
Or are you going to sign every chicken up for DoorDash?
And if you do, is there a possibility that the chicken you sign up for home delivery actually becomes an entree?
Huh?
Huh?
Didn't think about that, did you?
Massachusetts.
Well, chickens are going to have rights.
People?
Not so much. Babies forget about it.
But chickens should have rights.
Now, these are folks who live in big cities.
These are folks who live in very well-to-do suburbs,
who voted overwhelmingly for the Bill of Rights for chickens.
They've never raised a chicken.
They've never touched a chicken, except if it was deep fried.
And now they're putting farmers out of work.
Actual farmers who actually really honest to goodness do know a thing or two about chickens.
And the chicken farmers are saying, no more eggs for you.
Because we can't afford to do what you're doing.
None of these nobody saying you should mistreat animals.
Of course not.
We're all decent people.
But at some point, do we not?
Look at the way this whole thing set up.
Now, if memory serves, wasn't it God?
You remember him, right?
Ah, it was all the rage for a while.
And then the leftist said, nah, no God for you.
But you remember God said we as human beings had responsibility for the animals,
but we were in charge of the, we made the decisions, not the animals?
Because the animals, no matter how cuddly, how lovable they might be,
they're not particularly smart.
So we take care of them.
But a bill of rights for chickens only in Massachusetts,
only in California,
only in New York,
only in, well, anywhere at this point,
because the leftists among us
are determined to devalue human life,
defund law enforcement,
tear down anything that is patriotic
or religiously based, faith-based,
and build up the rights of chickens.
And you and I have got to stand up and say,
thanks, but no, thanks.

The Glenn Beck program.
Jeff Katz sitting in for Glenn today,
normally heard on news radio, WRVA in central Virginia.
Always, always happy to get the call from Glenn asking me to pinch hit for a day.
We, the parents in Virginia, said,
you're not going to use our kids as some sort of social experiment.
And we, the parents in Virginia, said,
okay, we're voting the whole lot of you clowns out.
Now my question
Is it happening elsewhere?
Are other people looking at this and saying, yeah, we can do it as well.
Nancy is checking in from Delaware.
Nancy, welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
Thank you.
Thank you for having me.
Yeah, I was just listening to you this morning, and it's sort of like deja vu.
We had school board meetings last week to enact in the Red Clay Consolidated School District Policy 508, which is a transgender policy
that allows access to any bathrooms by any kid at any time and also allows our kids of any gender
to swim or play on any sports team that they want to.
And it's even though three-fourths of the parents who were at the meeting were opposed to the
policy, the school board doesn't listen to us all and just happily passes the policy,
which now means that my 16-year-old granddaughter has to change in the locker room after school
in a locker room that anybody can go in.
And as she's working so, so hard to take three seconds off of her time so she can swim collegiate,
she can have boys join the team and beat her by 38 seconds.
You know, so I just, my question is, where's common sense gone?
Oh, it's gone.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Nancy, listen, I heard a wonderful explanation about common sense.
In fact, it was Glenn Beck a number of years ago said the origin of common sense.
You and I probably thought, well, common sense meant that everybody understood it.
Common sense came from a time like in the Middle Ages where only political leaders, the royalty, religious leaders, knew how to read.
And so they would explain to people what things meant.
and things had to be so abundantly clear that even commoners like me, maybe like you, would understand it.
And that's where we are again, right?
It's all of these elitists up here going, oh, Nancy, come on.
Don't, don't worry about what could possibly go wrong.
Everything.
That's exactly it.
And when we brought up what happened in Loudoun County, they just poo-pooed it and pushed aside.
And, you know, oh, that will never happen here.
And I'm like, why not?
I'm not actually worried about the transgender kids.
I'm worried about the predators.
Absolutely.
Oh, and that is allegedly the story out of Loudoun County.
This kid's mother, the boy's mother, who all of us here in Virginia were told, oh, he identifies as a girl.
His mother stood up and said, he's not transgender.
So then you think, well, wait a minute.
So is he like a predator who put on the skirt for the whole reason of going after these girls?
There's, I don't know, red clay district, is that near Wilmington?
Yes, it's in Wilmington.
All right, well, I would send you north to Pennsylvania, but God, it's the only place that's more screwed up than Delaware these days.
Right?
Oh, I think the whole country is screwed up.
I hear you. Nancy, I appreciate the call to the Glenn Beck program. Great call there.
Rick is in South Carolina. Rick, you're on the Glenn Beck program.
Appreciate you taking my call.
Yes, sir.
Appreciate you making it.
I've got a pretty simple solution for the issue with the locker room and the bathroom thing.
Let the kids handle it like they're picking a new puppy.
If a boy knows how to pick a boy puppy and a girl knows how to pick a girl puppy, what do they do?
Wait a minute.
Oh, yeah, I didn't know there was going to be like questions and this is like a test.
Rick, I don't test well.
Wow.
Yeah.
They could check and let them in the bathroom or not.
I guess so. Rick, thank you for calling the Glenn Beck program.
You know, it's interesting, Rick says that right in my little area.
Again, this rural area, farms, the rest of it, we got this whole big debate.
Well, we don't.
The school board has been told you have to do all sorts of special things for transgender kids.
And I just thought to myself, listen, if I describe myself, here's how this goes.
Number one on the list, child of God.
Number two on the list.
Husband.
Number three on the list.
Father.
Number four on the list.
I don't know.
Tampa Bay Bucks fan.
But really far down the list is political stuff.
I mean, I believe what I believe.
But I thought, I don't want this to be a political issue.
I want every kid in the schools to be safe and secure.
I want every kid to get a great education.
But I can also do a little bit of math.
And I can tell you that if you have a thousand kids in a high school and there are four kids
who say, I quote, identify as the other gender, do you turn it all upside down for the
996 or do you say, listen, we've got facilities for you four students.
We are determined to make sure that you are safe.
that you can go to the bathroom, you can get changed.
And you will be treated, because we're going to tell the other 996,
you will treat all of your friends with respect and dignity and friendly behavior.
But we don't just turn everything inside out and upside down.
We just don't.
Now, in a couple of moments, I got to share with you this snippet from one of these CNN guys,
who, honest to goodness, out loud where everybody could hear him, said,
I don't understand why Joe Biden is unpopular.
Oh, and I've got exactly the perfect Christmas gift for anybody and everybody.
We're going to tell the story of Emily's bracelets in a moment as well.

It is the Glenn Beck program.
Jeff Katz happened to be sitting in for Glenn today.
All sorts of stuff we have to address,
including this guy over at CNN,
and I know they hire only the best.
Look, I could never make it over there.
I get it.
But he actually asked the question or made the statement.
He says, I don't understand why Joe Biden is unpopular.
And then I think he asked the question.
I wonder why Joe Biden's unpopular.
Well, we're going to help them out in a couple of moments and give them one or two little clues.
We're talking about the rights of people, are we not?
We're talking about we, the parents, are we not?
I have three kids, and I just want to remind everybody, usually heard on News Radio WRVA in Central Virginia.
And so everybody in this part of the world knows the story, but I wanted to share it with everybody.
I've got three kids.
One of my kiddos, my daughter, my princess, has a variety of.
of special needs, special challenges.
And so I've done whatever I can to help kids who have special needs over the years.
And I am always blown away when I encounter families who see these challenges,
these disabilities, these special needs and say, okay, let's get to work.
and this particular story is one that I just, I have to share because I just, I love the family
involved and I love what they've done. Emily Morrissey is a beautiful young lady,
23 years old, lives here in central Virginia, has a variety of special needs and challenges.
But she discovered during therapy that she has this real talent for beads.
And so she's got this great sight now, Emily's bracelets,
com.
And her brother, PJ,
years ago when he was in high school,
sent me an email.
And he said,
Dear Mr. Katz,
I listen to your show every day.
You should have me on to talk about my sister.
Here's why.
He was right.
And so I'm having them on again.
PJ, welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
Good morning, Jeff.
Thank you for having me.
The pleasure is mine,
as always.
I've tried to paint the picture of
Emily and Emily's bracelets.com, but you're far better at it than I am. So just give everybody sort of a
primer. What is Emily's story and why are we now talking about emily's bracelets.com?
Sure. So like you mentioned, my older sister, Emily, just turned 23 years old back in June.
And like you mentioned, she has an array of special needs due to the result of
of oxygen deprivation at birth.
And because of that, she was shortly after diagnosed with cerebral palsy
and, of course, the many challenges that come.
And CP is different for everyone that has it.
And for Emily, it's global delays in her cognitive skills, despite her deficit.
Now, the bracelet thing, if you will, Emily had therapy, right, occupational therapy,
physical therapy. Tell me about how the whole bead thing came along.
Sure. So like you said, you know, she's been through expensive OT and PT appointments.
And through those occupational therapy appointments, her OTs had her stringing these large beads onto wired pipe cleaners to help sharpen and, you know, regain some of those fine motor skills.
and she'd been doing that, I mean, ever since she was a little little girl, and it worked out really well for her.
And so that's why she kept doing it for so long, and she was able to progress and move on to larger beads on a string rather than a pipe cleaner.
And now a smaller beads onto elastic string without any support in the string.
in reality of the situational therapy.
And that's how Emily's bracelets was born.
You know, P.J. Morrissey is joining us, and P.J. is a big part of this operation.
It's called emily's bracelets.com.
His sister Emily makes these beautiful, beautiful bracelets.
She learned to do this as a result of occupational therapy and physical therapy.
And her parents, who are just incredible people as well.
Dan and Kristen share a concern that every one of us who is a parent in general, a parent,
particularly of a special needs kiddo, you wonder what your kid's going to do when they leave
school.
Now, typically developing kids, you might go to college, you might go to trade school, you
might go right into the workforce, whatever you do.
And we worry a little bit, but we don't worry a lot.
If you've got a special needs child, let me tell you something.
You're up to all hours thinking, oh, my God, what's going to happen to them?
And Dan and Kristen and PJ set up this beautiful business.
And I wear, now, in all fairness, I only wear Emily's bracelets on days that end in Y.
So, you know, I mean, that's just the, that's the deal I made with myself.
And today, my gosh, PJ.
Yeah, I've got my thin blue line bracelet.
I got Santa bracelet.
I got the Julia Cats bracelet.
I've got the Rudolph, the Red Nose Reindeer bracelet.
I've got a Christmas.
I got everything.
My arm, my right arm is like six pounds heavier than it normally would be because of all.
of these beads, but folks need to know more about this.
I love the story.
I love the journey.
I also love the fact.
I really have to mention this, PJ, is that Emily, who was a member of the Special
Olympics, and you guys just did a great special Olympics event, I think, in Virginia
Beach a couple of months ago, a portion of each bracelet goes to the Special Olympics, right?
Yes, sir.
So, like you mentioned, Emily is a Special Olympics athlete and has been ever since we moved
to Virginia.
And, you know, the work that the Special Olympics does with their athletes is just amazing.
You know, allowing them to participate in these sporting events together is just great.
And as a thank you to the Special Olympics for all that they've done for Emily and all of their other athletes, we donate 50 cents from Special Olympics.
Wow.
I love it.
I love it.
All right.
So, look, it's Christmas time.
I don't know what shipping is.
I don't care.
I've got a stash of Emily's braces.
which we will be sending up.
Folks are listening, PJ, all around the world right now.
Can they go and get a bracelet or two?
Yes, so go shop online at emily's bracelets.com.
Like you said, we can't guarantee shipping in time for Christmas,
but our Christmas bracelets are still on the website if you want to keep celebrating after Christmas
or prepare for next year.
Also on the website, she has so many different lines of designs.
and even if you just want to look at every single bracelet we have,
there's an all bracelet section.
Emily's bracelets.com, Emily's bracelets on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Wow, it's amazing.
Great social media operations for Emily.
And I want to remind everybody as well before we wrap this up, PJ,
is that in addition to all these great bracelets like that,
you've got thin blue line bracelets for those of us that are former police officers,
current police officers, have a police officer in the family.
You've even made them for the firefighter.
EMTs, every branch of the military.
Yeah, no, no knock on EMTs or firefighters,
but you guys figure out how to sleep and get paid, you know, that's...
Yes, we did, yep.
Yeah.
The guys were in the thin blue line bracelets are going,
boy, it's really hot, but look, they're napping so nicely in that firehouse.
But folks could get any sort of kind,
and, of course, every branch of the military, there's just so much there.
Do me a favor.
You give the website one more time, would you?
It is emilysheliesbraclets.com.
I love it. PJ Morrissey, thank you for being here, my friend. That is PJ Morrissey. You bet. He is Emily's little brother and they do an amazing job. And again, Emily's bracelets.com. And I just think again as the parent of a special needs kid, I'm so, I'm just so grateful that other mothers and fathers have said, we're going to take care of our kids, even when,
the rest of society says, well, we're done. Because if you are the father to a special
needs child, you're the mother to a special needs child, you're always worrying what,
what happens next? What happens when I'm gone? And I just, again, I say, I'm so, I'm just such a
big admirer of the entire Morrissey family for doing that for Emily. And they're beautiful
bracelets and they're very inexpensive and a portion goes to the special Olympics and what can I
tell you I just I think the world of that whole gang emily's bracelets.com okay I told you there's a guy at
CNN big time guy I mean you got a big deal I'm sure he's making way more than I am maybe more than you
are and his his big question was why is Joe Biden unpopular well you and I are going to help
answer that question for him you know and set him on the right path it is Jeff Kemp
And sitting in today for Glenn.

It is the Glenn Beck program. Jeff Katz sitting in for Glenn today. Always happy to be able to do that.
There's a guy over at CNN who's got his own show. So you know he's a big time deal for Reid Zekiria.
And he's got a question. Just take a listen to his question.
But first, here's my take. I have to confess, I find Joe Biden's unpopular.
Puzzling.
What?
No.
It wasn't really a question.
It was more of a statement.
All right.
Let's listen to it one more time.
But first, here's my take.
I have to confess, I find Joe Biden's unpopularity puzzling.
You do.
You know what I find puzzling?
Why you said that?
Actually, you know what I actually.
I don't find it puzzling because I'm going to go out on a limb here.
I don't mean to make a son.
assumptions, but you're on CNN.
And CNN has a certain mindset, right, amongst everybody who works there.
We, we hate conservatives, we hate Republicans, we hate Trump, we're all on board with
everything that the left does, the Democrats do.
Go, Joe, go.
Okay, got it.
Let me give you a little message from the rest of America.
the rest of America that's not going to the wine and cheese parties.
We don't do wine and cheese.
We do chucky cheese.
We're trying to raise our children.
And yes, we are those people who say to our children, you're an American.
But even before you're an American, you're a child of God.
Oh, oh, itchy.
We don't do that.
Yep.
Get Brian Steltler right now.
Okay, but that's what we do.
And we here in real America, we get up, we get up in the morning.
We get up in the afternoon.
We get up at night.
And we go to work.
See, real America works on a variety of different shifts.
Real America works on holidays and weekends.
Real Americans are looking at store shelves and saying, I can't afford that anymore.
I want to get my kid a present for for Hanukkah.
I know some of some folks are going to wait a much,
Jeff, it's eight presents for Hanukkah.
No, not if you grow up with my dad.
My dad figured out how he could buy one present and disassemble it and give me one piece
each day, each night for Hanukkah.
But anyway, that's, that's my dad's school with thought.
But you're trying to get a present for your kids for Christmas.
You can't, you literally cannot afford it.
And if you can afford it, you can't find it.
Meat is becoming more of a,
luxury. Fresh produce is not available in the way it was before. Christmas trees have increased
in price so much that there are some families who are looking at Charlie Brown and going, could
we borrow that? Because that'll work for us. That's why Joe Biden is unpopular. So I know you're
puzzled, sir, but the rest of us are not the least bit puzzled. We get it.
We get it like nobody's business.
Can we share a little piece of Dr. Fauci?
Remember, Dr. Fauci's got all the answers for everything.
He's smarter than anybody who's ever lived.
He was on with, I don't know, one of the talking heads.
I think it was Jake Tapper.
Let's take a listen.
Well, I mean, in some respects, Chuck, it really is semantics.
As far as I'm concerned, I make it very clear that if you want to be optimally protected,
get boosted.
whether the definition for legal and other purposes dealing with the OSHA situation that you have,
that's a different story.
But if you want to look at it and say, when am I optimally protected?
There's no doubt that that's when you get boosted.
I know you're doing around Robin this morning of all the Sunday shows, but just a reminder, I'm Jake, not Chuck.
And I'm Jeff, not Glenn, but it is the Glenn Beck program.
So let me see if I've got this right.

It's the Glenn Beck program. Jeff Katz, happy to be sitting in for Glenn this morning,
usually spending my time at News Radio W-R-V-A in central Virginia, and always happy when
folks at the Blaze say, hey, could you cover for Glenn?
a little bit, thrilled to do that.
Now, I mentioned at the very top of this,
if I, you know, because I'm keeping a list here.
And I'm like checking it twice and stuff.
But I've got erasing history.
I, communist party events.
Oh, and COVID forever.
Oh, I did forget to mention something.
About 20 minutes from now, Mike Lindell is going to be dropping by.
I've been looking forward to chatting with Mike.
I mean, I'm a longtime customer.
passionate brand ambassador for my pillow.
But I got to tell you something, he's putting it all on the line for, for us, for America.
So we'll chat with Mike Lindell about that in a couple of moments.
So here's what I mean by erasing history.
Last couple of years, we've seen the rise of the left and the, and not just the
complicity, but the active involvement, the active help from the the legacy news media types,
the legacy social media types.
Telling you, telling me,
hey, you can't believe what you're watching.
No, I know you see buildings on fire and buses on fire and cars on fire and windows broken out and all sorts of terrible violence.
But seriously, these are mostly peaceful protests.
So just don't worry your pretty little head about that.
Oh, and we need to tear down statues.
You see, because they're people who are offended by the statues.
Now, I, honest to goodness, I'm like ground zero for that particular discussion.
Richmond, Virginia is really an interesting community.
It's not a big city.
A couple of hundred thousand people, tops.
But it is or was rich in history.
And I had when I first got here the experience that, frankly, everybody has when they used to visit the city of Richmond.
people would drive you down a street.
It's called Monument Avenue.
You know why it's called Monument Avenue?
Because there used to be a whole bunch of monuments there.
And the monuments were of Confederate figures.
Oh.
But here's what happens.
Because when I had people visit, I also took them down Monument Avenue.
Grand, Grand Avenue in the middle of the city.
and I would drive by these monuments and these statues.
And invariably, first thing that somebody would say was,
look at that, nice collection of second place trophies.
The comedian Robert Klein was the first guy to say that to me.
And then everybody had visit said exactly the same thing.
And we would chuckling, you know, whatever.
But then there would be a discussion.
And I mean like a real serious discussion.
Not one of those, hey, how about them bucks?
Wrong day for that.
But you know what I mean?
How about blah, blah, blah.
Geez, the weather's nice.
What are you getting for lunch?
I mean, these real, serious, in-depth conversations,
examinations of what happened on the North American continent
between 1861 and 1865.
And then further discussions,
discussions that without question,
involved the issue of owning a human being.
And everybody, of course, comes to the same conclusion.
It is incredibly wrong for any human being to be treated as chattel.
But there's a weird thing now.
If you go down Monument Avenue in Richmond, Virginia, there are no monuments left,
except for Arthur Ash.
That's still there.
but every statue related to these Confederate figures has now been torn down.
They're being housed for the most part at a sewage treatment plant.
There was one big monument, like a really super big one of Robert E. Lee.
And that was actually owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
And here at the moment, the governor of Virginia is really most famous for this question.
Sir, were you wearing blackface or a clanhood?
in that photo.
And he's been on an apology tour for the last three years.
So he went along with tearing down the Robert Lee statue.
And then when they took it down, they also made sure to cut it up.
So nobody's ever going to put it up again.
And then there's a city, oh, I don't know, about 60, 70 miles away, home of University of Virginia.
They've just decided that their Robert Lee statue is going to be turned over to a group
which has already promised to destroy it and melt it down.
why? It's rather Taliban-esque, don't you think? Why? Why destroy these things? Well, we don't want people liking what these folks did. Well, that's fine. Although, if you're really going to debate Robert E. Lee, you may want to know a thing or two about Robert E. Lee, because the stuff I've heard is just so crazy. But you and I are decent people. You and I are good people. And so the very thought that,
that one human being would own another human being is,
is just repugnant, disgusting, awful.
And we would say things like,
I can't even imagine that.
We'll take a look at these statues.
They served as reminders
that human beings did own other human beings.
Well, the statues are gone now.
And what happens, I'm probably not in my lifetime,
but maybe in the lifetime of my boys.
What happens when somebody comes up with some ridiculous idea?
Like, treat people like property.
And good people who have never seen any of the statues or monuments,
have never read history, have never seen paintings because those are being torn down.
as well. What if all these other people, you know, folks like you and folks like me, good people
say, oh, that's crazy. I can't even imagine that. And you can't imagine it. And in a generation or two,
good people continue to say, I can't imagine that. And you don't have the ability to say, well,
take a look at this. Here's the story. Here, this did happen. I look at those who were
talking about getting rid of the concentration camps in Europe.
There was actually a move, not a couple of years back.
They were talking about Auschwitz.
Oh, we should repurpose it.
Repurpose it.
Really?
You must never touch it.
It must be preserved because there are parts of my family on both sides who are not here today
because of that place.
We can never, ever, ever allow ourselves to forget what happened.
We can never, ever, ever allow ourselves to forget that some human beings are depraved and evil.
You don't have to like history.
You don't have to like what happened during an historic event.
But by gosh, you need to know.
You need to know.
What about the communists?
Oh, they were all the rage for a while, weren't they?
I mean, Venezuela and Cuba, God, they're just humming along in all cylinders.
I mean, they don't have cylinders, but if they had cylinders, it would be humming along.
Communism.
We're fighting that.
You and I are fighting that every day.
I want to share this little snippet.
Now, this is, it's a big event, and it's in Connecticut, and the senior senator, I think he's senior.
I don't know.
One of the senators, Dick Blumenthal.
He shows up to speak at an event.
Take a listen to the welcome to the event.
If you are not already part of the Communist Party, we invite you to participate and contribute and join.
There's more and more people talking now about socialism in this country as it becomes more and more clear that capitalism is not going to work for our future.
So if you heard that, you're sitting in the audience and you hear that and you're thinking,
I think I came to the wrong room.
You know, it says B-26.
It was supposed to be N-42.
Bingo, boom, I'm gone, I'm out of here.
No, I'm not here for the Communist Party event.
Not Dick Blumenthal.
Now, Dick Blumenthal, of course, as we know,
has a long history of having problems with the truth.
Dick Blumenthal said for years, told people for years,
stood in front of American Legion post and VFW posts
and other people telling them about his service in Vietnam.
Now, there was one tiny little detail.
He didn't have any service in Vietnam, but he's a Democrat.
He's an unrepentant leftist.
He hates the right people so all is forgiven.
How do you sit and listen to that and say, oh, yeah, I'm going to stick around?
Like, if I go into an event and the woman on stage says,
well, I'd like to welcome all of the women in the audience.
Everybody who's here for, I don't know, the gene deta unveiling of the new perfume,
I get up, I walk out because it's not my thing.
If I go into an event and it says, we'd like to welcome you to the Communist Party meeting.
I think to myself, I misread the sign, got to go.
It's only now after Dick Blumenthal attended the Communist Party event,
Communist Party affiliated event, that he's saying, oh, probably shouldn't have stuck around.
Bizarre, don't you think?
I mean, it's really bizarre.
Oh, and we've got COVID forever.
We're going to talk about that.
And about 20 minutes or so, Mike Lindell is going to be here.
Yes, I'm going to tell him how much I love his products, but that's not the reason for this.
He's standing up and fighting for freedom.
Freedom in the world of social media, free speech, frank, honest speech.
So he's going to be with us in just a moment.
A remind you, it is Jeff Katz sitting in for Glenn today.

888-7-27-B-E-C-K, triple-8-7-27-B-E-C-K.
We're about to learn that COVID sticks around forever.
That's where we are with this.
I guess I've come to terms with it.
I don't know if you've come to terms with it.
8-88-7-27-beck, AAA-7-2-7-2-E-C-K.
Are you seeing more in your neck of the woods that tells you we're going to deal with this forever in a day?
I think back to the beginning of this.
And it's not that long ago.
But I do.
I think back to the beginning of this.
And it was all about two weeks to flatten the curve.
Anybody remember that?
Oh, God, it was all the rage.
It was great.
Two weeks, two weeks.
Okay.
I'll give you two weeks.
I don't have any problem with two weeks.
what I have a problem with is just turning every part of my life upside down and inside out
and then telling me that I shouldn't be concerned when you're turning my life upside down and
inside out.
So Dr. Fauci, who as you know is smarter than all of us, Dr. Fauci says,
we don't want to have any more lockdowns.
And to me, it sounds like one of these like a criminal character.
You know, I'm thinking back to the Sopranos or other organized crime movies where a guy comes along and says,
wow, nice story you have here, sure would be a shame of something happened to it.
Doesn't he sound a little bit like that?
Don't they all sound a little bit like that, whether it's Joe Biden,
Joe Biden's latest piece of advice, which is be afraid, be very, very afraid.
Oh, no, actually, I think he was whispering.
And he was doing the Biden whisper, be afraid.
Be very, very afraid.
Here's the statement from the White House.
You ready?
We are intent on not letting Omicron disrupt work and school for the vaccinated.
You've done the right thing.
And we will get through this.
For the unvaccinated, blank you.
We don't care.
Go out to the woods and die.
I mean, I'm paraphrasing, but that is fundamentally what it says.
For the unvaccinated, you're looking at a.
winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may
soon overwhelm. Here's the problem I have. I'm not an anti-vaccine guy. I'm not. I do not
look to Jenny McCarthy for any advice on anything. I know enough from minimal biology
classes. Here's how vaccines work. But here's how viruses work. I do remember this sort of stuff. Not to any great
detail. I'm not a doctor. My mom. My mom has been gone for three years, passed away three years ago.
She still haunts me. Jeffrey, you didn't become a doctor. What's the matter with you? But I'm not a doctor. And I'm
not an epidemiologist or an epidemiologist or any sort of ologist. I just know.
that I did what I was told I was supposed to do based on my conversations with my doctor.
And my doctor said, yeah, you should get the vaccine.
And here's why it will work.
Here's what it should do.
Here's what happens.
Blah, blah, blah, yada, yada.
So I got my two shots and I got my booster shots.
And I'm not about to go out and start like drinking COVID-infused coffee.
But I'm thinking this is how the real world's supposed to work.
And then I hear from Fauci and the rest of the White House crew, there's death, there's
destruction coming.
It's like Game of Thrones.
Winter is coming.
And it's going to be ugly for the unvaccinated.
Why don't you just have the unvaccinated, I don't know, wear like a special piece of clothing maybe?
Or maybe like a letter.
like here no here's what I'm thinking get like a red sea and then you can sew that
force them to sew that on their clothing so we will know who is unvaccinated for
COVID and they keep changing the definitions and they keep changing the rules which would be
interesting and maybe even legitimate if in fact I was not continually seeing
Democrat Party bigwigs gallivanting hundreds
thousands of them, not a mask in sight.
So you're telling me in the city of Philadelphia, the city of my birth, where crime is out of
control, where the police are demoralized, where criminals will not be prosecuted by the
faux district attorney, where they've set an all-time high murder rate, homicide rate,
is through the roof. You're telling me that the city of Philadelphia, the city of my birth,
Is now going to mandate masks and vaccine passports for kids that are toddlers and four and five years old?
You're insane.
Absolutely bloody insane.
Can't do anything about the murders.
But we're going to force your kid to wear a mask.
And who knows, maybe Glenn's got some duct tape left.
We'll make sure it doesn't move.
Hey, straight ahead, Mike Lindell in his fight to preserve free speech for all of us.
Jeff Katz, in today for Gluck.
Glenn, it's the Glenn Beck program.

The truth that mainstream media can't handle.
You're listening to the Glenn Beck program.
It's the Glenn Beck program.
Jeff Katz, happy to be sitting in for Glenn.
Can I tell you a little bit about my morning?
So I got up, got up early, got out of bed.
Now, when I got out of bed, I'm looking at my bed.
I slept on amazing sheets under an amazing blanket.
with an amazing pillow. Then I went, took a shower. I'm not going to give you all the details,
but came out of the shower after washing with an amazing washcloth, it dried my hands with a
hand towel, you know, did the whole bath towel thing. I'm out here in the broadcast hut,
spending a little time filling in for my friend Glenn, and I'm wearing my, my pillow slippers.
So I am like head to toe 24-7 devoted to Mike Lindell's products. But I also want to tell you something
else because I'm not just talking about that.
I'm part of an organization here in Virginia called the Relationship Foundation of Virginia,
and we're a faith-inspired organization that works with men, works with fathers, and says,
we're going to help you be better dads.
And we're going to meet you wherever you are.
You believe this, you believe that.
We don't care what you believe.
You're dealing with an addiction problem.
Doesn't matter.
We're there for you.
You're a first-time dad and you don't have any other issues, but you just can't figure out.
Is this kid who's the boy going to whiz or?
my, when I'm changing? The answer, by the way, is yes, always they will do that. We work with
men who are inside of jail, inside a prison that are going to come out and they want to be
fathers to their kids. Well, we had this big fundraiser over the summer. And there were two
men that I reached out to who immediately said yes. Glenn Beck signed and donated like a
bookcase full of his books. And the great people,
my pillow said, we're on board, and they sent us all sorts of wonderful auction items.
So I just want that all to be out there.
And I want to talk with Mike Lindell and talk about his effort to preserve freedom in this country.
Mike, thank you for being here.
Well, thanks for having me on.
The pleasure is mine.
I'm, as I've said, I'm a devoted user of your products.
But more importantly, I suppose, I'm just a tremendous admirer of your
personal journey and now what you're doing to stand up to preserve freedom in this country?
Well, God's given me a very big platform.
Here's a guy, if you read my book, a guy who actually had fear of speaking in public for
sure.
And I'm out there now with the biggest voice, it seems like.
Yeah.
You know, that was a God's sense of humor, maybe.
I don't know.
But yeah, it's been, you know, what started out.
You know, when I quit crack cocaine and everything, and I, you know, I set up my Lindelrecoverynetwork.org, that's free to anybody online that's in addiction.
And I thought my calling was, you know, evangelical calling to get people off of addiction and to a joyful life.
And then along came the 2020 election.
Yeah.
And I was very, very, very, very busy since then.
But there's so much hope going into 2020.
I think people right now, everybody's looking for hope and it's out there.
The biggest enemy we have to getting things rectified, I believe, is the conservative media.
Yeah.
I believe it's all of your media, your foxes, your newsmashes of the world.
I believe that they've, I don't know if you call it lied to us, but they don't talk about things that matter.
And that's fact.
And if you're not hearing both sides of an issue or if you're not hearing, if you're only hearing propaganda from one side, it is very, it's very hard to do anything.
And I've been fighting it for just over a year now.
And I never signed up for this.
I was an entrepreneur.
I was ready to launch my store.com for entrepreneurs.
We have, you know, USA-made products and these entrepreneurs to get on this platform was going to,
We like a mini Amazon and hopefully get a lot bigger.
And then I had to put that on hold for what I'm doing now.
But we have great things going on.
I met with the Attorney General's to get to the Supreme Court.
We're working, and I have cause of America.
We're working in 46 states.
And that's to get rid of the machines and put in a replacement system that's going to paper ballots.
It's going to give back, keep your confidence in a fair election again.
Because people on both sides, it doesn't matter if you're,
Republican or Democrat. We need to fix the system now.
Mike Lindell is joining us. Mike, you're right. We have so many people right about now who
simply don't have confidence in the system. And if you've been involved, you've been in a voter
more than once or twice, you say, geez, my guy won, my guy lost, you deal with it,
you regroup, you get to the other side. But when you have half of America saying, geez, I don't
know how the election really went, that's a big, big problem.
Well, it's more than that now.
It's 35% of Democrats believe the election was stole.
And the reason that is is what really happened, I don't care what anyone says,
I've spent over $25 million now investigating everything and the stuff out of my own pocket.
And people, even on both sides, they see now what's going on in our country.
If something political, a decision doesn't help anybody, you've got to wonder what
you know, what's behind it, what agenda is really behind it.
And this is, I've said God's sat his hand in all of this from the beginning.
So what you're seeing, all the stuff you see it when you see bad things bubbling up,
corruption, social media, things that we all know.
We're not on in Facebook and Twitter and YouTube and all these platforms.
This is just a big reveal.
This is all getting revealed.
And when we come together as people,
not we're not a divided country we're not a racist country that's the biggest lie in history um
they want to divide us and but we are united and when we get through this it is going to you know
it's going to be amazing because it's people it's not this isn't a you know this party's this
this party's this i think the people have seen through that now i have people in my you know i have
2,700 employees at my pillow we have democrats republicans liberals conservatives uh every race you
could imagine. And we're like a big family because we see through all the garbage going on
and we have a united mission where we're, where we're, you know, we're looking for things out there
that are for the people. You know, why are they making these decisions? When I used to be an addict,
I didn't think politics affected anything I did. I just, I had never voted. I was a crack addict.
I didn't, I didn't care what was going on out there. But, but now you see, I think everybody
sees, we've really learned that that vote, your vote, is.
one of your most important things and it's sacred because everything that's done then in politics
affects everything you do I mean everything I come from Minnesota look with bad decisions
over a year and a half ago manifested to riots all over our country that uh for and absolutely for
nothing I mean that that the decisions that were made in Minneapolis were some of the worst
decisions ever made and it was when they were political decisions they were political they were
They made them aesthetic solving the problem.
They made them because of politics.
Very sad.
Mike Lindell joining us for a couple of moments.
Mike, let me ask you about the social media stuff because this is something many of us
are very, very concerned with.
I look at Twitter.
I look at Facebook, the legacy social media types.
And, you know, they've always said to us, hey, we're not publishers.
You do what you want.
We're sort of the public square.
But then they decide we don't like what Mike Lindell has to say.
And it doesn't matter.
I'm sure there were people who read the things you posted or tweeted that said,
geez, I like that or I dislike it, but it's interesting and it's important to me to have all the information.
But the legacy social media said, nope, we know better to heck with you.
Right.
Right.
And that's going on around the world.
That Mark Zuckerbach and Jack Dorsey and others, they're going to end up in prison.
I really believe that.
What they've done to cancel our voices are, you know, our First Amendment right of free speech.
This is the, you know, it's absolutely, well, it's, and conservative media is doing it too by not talking.
So you got things going on in all areas of the media.
But social media, that's why I made frankspeech.com.
When I made that, that was last summer or last spring, I put millions into that because I knew it was basically my voice and other voices in this country were drying up.
You could, you could have anything.
You could have evidence.
You could have whatever you wanted.
It didn't matter if nobody hears it.
If nobody hears it, that is the, that is what's, what hurts our country.
You know, you hear it.
There's all kinds of things going on right now that I would love to have time to tell people and tell the world.
And everyone would go, what?
I talk to people all the time that are glued to Fox and they go, and they don't get there.
You know, everything on social media is, is canceled out.
And then they're not hearing the other half of the news on Fox.
Well, on social media, had you know, they just came.
out a week ago, the fact checkers on social media, on Facebook and Twitter, it's Alan Duke,
it's called Lead Stories.
Facebook came out in court.
Mark Zuckerbach said, you know what?
They're just opinion, guys.
They fact-checked it based on their own opinions, and he said that in a court of law.
That's sad when we come down to that where someone, five people can just decide what's,
what to show people and what not to show people.
Remember what that is?
That's called Nazi Germany.
Yeah.
It's just an awful situation.
Mike, listen, I don't have a huge amount of time, but I do want to say this.
I want everybody to hear it.
There are many of us who are so concerned with this so-called cancel culture.
We're concerned about having not just a voice, but a set of ears and eyes that are able to get that information that's being squashed down.
So what you're doing with frankspeech.com and the rest of it is greatly appreciated.
I don't know if you hear that often, but I just wanted to say that.
Well, thank you. And we've got over 400 podcaster and radio hosts that have lost their jobs or lost their audience because of the cancel culture. So we've got over five million people over there now watching. We just want to keep getting the word out. Keep getting the word out. We have, you know, so many amazing hosts over there and a lot more coming that, as these other outlets, you know, they can't talk. You know, you get newsbacks and Fox. And if they say something wrong, they get fired or let go. So we're just, we're
taken man where this is going to be a place where you can still hear the news. I mean, it's
sad when you can't hear what's going on over in Australia because that's coming here soon if we
don't, if things don't change. And that people knew the horrific things that were going on overseas.
They're just ahead of us somewhat with what could happen here. But we're, I'm trying that it won't
happen because we've got so many great things going on. And by the way, at frankspeech.com, too.
you can check out the cause of America.
You can see what were the great things that are,
I created a network, the cause of America,
that goes out to all the other states and what's going on out there
and what's happening and what's happening in your state.
You just go on there and click on it.
So it's an information center and a library too,
and that people need to have that.
Fantastic.
Mike, thank you so much.
It's great.
It's great.
Thank you so much for being here.
And Merry Christmas.
God bless you for that sort of work.
It is greatly appreciated.
Well, thank you.
you and God bless. Thanks for having me on. And everybody, keep the faith, keep, and have the best
Christmas ever. Absolutely. That is Mike Lindell, and I know most people know Mike from My Pillow.
And a lot of folks have looked and said, well, I don't, I don't agree with this. I don't agree with
everything. But if you paid attention to what Mike was talking about, you don't have to agree
with anything he says. You can disagree with everything he says. But this idea that in America,
we can't really have the free exchange of ideas. We can't get all the information we're supposed to be
able to access. That's the problem. And I'm glad to see anybody and everybody who's taking steps
to deal with that. Glenn has done it for years, obviously, with the blaze.com, making sure that
everybody is able to access everything. Jeff Katz's honor to be sitting in for Glenn this morning.
It is the Glenn Beck program.
Instead of just giving your kids and your grandkids more stuff this Christmas, give them the gift
that will counteract leftist brainwashing.
It will help mold them into responsible adults and citizens
who understand how our country, how our freedoms,
how the economy works.
I'm talking about the growing library of resources from the Tuttle Twins.
They have toddlers in children's books
that explore the principles of freedom using stories and pictures
and stories about American heroes and entrepreneurship.
They even have a free market curriculum
with lessons that can explore how the free market works.
So your kids at a very young age will understand
understand supply and demand, inflation, and how government intervention affects the economy.
Giving these books and curriculum doesn't just help the kids you know.
It helps America because our children will lead the fight against leftism in the coming
generation.
Go to tutel twinsbeck.com.
There's a holiday discount of 40% off and you can get the workbooks for free.
Give your kids and your country the gift of liberty.

You're listening to the Glenn Beck program, Jeff Katz, sitting in for Glenn today.
There was an interesting exchange in the...
Senator John Kennedy on a Louisiana
was asking...
Anne Traum, she's a law professor,
asking her whether, in the interest of, quote,
social justice, criminal convictions should be overturned
or prosecutions shouldn't be brought,
nine times he had to ask her the question.
And she wouldn't answer.
It's one of those things.
You know, there are a couple of groups in this, in this country who can never answer a yes or no question with a yes or a no.
Lawyers never will answer a question yes or no.
Politicians will never answer yes or no.
Talk show hosts.
I'm sorry, it's like one of the burdens of being a talk show host.
Takes you about 10 minutes to order a cup of coffee.
But this exchange, and we don't even have time to play all of it.
I just realized that.
We don't have time to play all of it.
It goes on and on and on and on.
And he's got one question, right?
In the interest of, quote, social justice,
should prosecutions and arrests and stuff not happen?
Should convictions be overturned?
And she won't answer.
She just will not answer the question,
no matter what you do, no matter what you say,
no matter how you ask it.
And finally, at the end of all of it,
he like throws up his hands and goes,
all right, well, what's your favorite color?
Her answer, by the way, was blue, probably not a shock.
And I just thought, well, that's the problem.
problem right there.
Mike Lindell was just talking about the riots in Minnesota, right?
Remember the riots in Minnesota?
Derek Chauvin, remember him?
Murdered someone?
He's convicted of murder, and he's never getting out, and I got news for you.
I'm okay with that.
I don't think that anybody has the right to go out and murder somebody.
But then riots across the country, and you would say, well, we have to address this
or just that, but the worst part of all of those riots, each of those riots, you know what it was, right?
Watching the legacy news media, the legacy social media tell you, ah, everything is fine here.
Hey, stay in touch. Look for the Jeff Katz show on Facebook.
Be sure to check out glenbeck.com, Theblaze.com.
Have a marvelous, marvelous day.
Jeff Katz, sitting in for Glenn.
