Starting point is 00:00:00 Let me tell you about American giant. American made used to mean something. It really meant something. It meant that it was solid and good, and it was a product with true merit made by people here in the country. Now, when you buy something American made, it's really not. But when you buy American giant clothing, every stitch of thread, every metal rivet, every drop of ink, everything is made and assembled here. So you're not just buying clothing. You're buying something, you're buying a movement to bring Americans back to American made.
Starting point is 00:00:38 You can buy stuff that is cheaper and you get cheaper quality made by people overseas who aren't paid a living wage. Or you can buy the quality that will last generations and restore America. American Giant. There's one in all of us. Find yours at American-giant.com slash glen. American-dash-giant. Is the fusion of entertainment? Today is sick freak.
Starting point is 00:01:55 It is Friday. We begin in 60 seconds. Stand by. First, let me tell you about Car Shield. You might get away with rolling the dice for a while after your car warranty goes out. Yeah. Good luck with that. Hey, by the way, it's easy to get a new car.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Stu, you're getting your new car today. Today, today's the day. And I ordered it pretty much just yesterday 14 months ago. And so it's a 2021? No, it's 2022. 2022. It is, yes. Yeah, you know when very famous car company went out of business, Bentley in 1929, everything that was sold in 1935 was still a 1929. It was built in 1929.
Starting point is 00:02:37 They just had them left over and they're like, slap the label. So is this a 2021 with a new label on it? No, it's a 2022. Although I will say some 2023s have already been delivered. So other people are getting 20. 23s before I'm getting 2022s. Well, it's wonderful. Some people are just looking for like a 2007.
Starting point is 00:02:56 Right. And they are more expensive than some of the new cars. It's, I don't understand how that works. Anyway, CarShield, when your warranty goes out, do you want to have to deal with getting a new car? Do you want to deal with trying to pay for the chips or whatever that goes into the car? Get CarShield.com slash Beck. CarShield.com slash Beck.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Or call 800, 391, 88, 88, 88, 800, 391.8888. It's carsheel.com slash back. 14 months. I've waited for this car. And it has been essentially a drought the entire time. And yet today, the day I'm picking it up, it's pouring rain.
Starting point is 00:03:37 It is a monsoon outside. It's incredible. It's been like, we have like no rain. No rain for months and months and months. It feels like. And the day you get your car after waiting a year and a half. I mean, there is a god. To me, it says there is a god.
Starting point is 00:03:53 It's either I've done something to the dimensional forces. No, he's just not a good sense of humor. Could be that. Yeah. I also think it could be that the car is going to burn so much gas. It's actually preeminent. It's already like preemptively ruining the climate, which I'm fine with too. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Yeah, that's probably it. Okay. Let me just give you a love this. This comes from the federalists today. Everything that Democrats claim is a threat to demolish. If you notice that, everything seems to be. Well, here's the list. Donald Trump, of course, right?
Starting point is 00:04:28 Threat to democracy. Then Republicans, just generally. Just generally. Threat to democracy. Well, first it was MAGA Republicans. And now it's just Republicans. Okay. Ted Cruz, threat to democracy.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Josh Hawley. Hmm. Threat to democracy. Ron DeSantis, of course he is. He's an extreme threat to democracy, quoting. Dr. Oz, an impaired fetterman, who doesn't pose a threat to our democracy, is better than a polished Oz. Who does? That's what's at stake here.
Starting point is 00:05:07 Yeah. Oz is a threat to our democracy. They're doing their best to find a path through that. Is this crazy? Who buys this stuff? I don't know. Who buys that? I will say we have Selena Zito on today.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Oh, he was like the reporter in Pennsylvania on this stuff. I've not read it yet. I'm interested to talk to her about it. I read this. She has a new op-ed piece. She is one of my favorite reporters because she actually, she doesn't live in the big cities. She lives in Pennsylvania and she just, she never takes the freeway. She never takes an airplane.
Starting point is 00:05:41 She will drive to wherever she is to report on something because she wants to get a feel for the real people. And so when she's doing a story, she just kind of hangs out where all of the real people are. That way, she's not an outsider. You know, she kind of has a bead on the pulse. You're describing this like she's an alien. That's journalism.
Starting point is 00:06:06 What you're describing is just the definition. I know. That is what made me laugh. It's like the typical reporter now literally just looks at Twitter, searches for their keywords, puts a bunch of tweets in the story, and sends. it to the editor. Right. Where Selina actually says, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, you can't say that. You got to put in there a threat to democracy. Right. They insert it. Selina actually goes and talks to people and it's why her reporting has been so good,
Starting point is 00:06:31 especially the past couple cycles. And accurate. Yeah. Accurate, really accurate. So she's joining us. Talk about the fallout from the Federman debate. And she's like the only, I've been waiting to talk to her all week. She's the only voice I will trust on what's really happening on the ground. also threat to democracy now is Tudor Dixon. She's, quote, a huge threat to our democracy. Ron Johnson is a threat to our democracy. I like this. Legitimately conducted elections.
Starting point is 00:07:01 The American Time Magazine, American Democracy, cannot survive unless the far right is marginalized. Here's how to do it. Oh, good. That's an article in Time magazine. Thank you, Time. Right. Appreciate it. Should Republicans win, they will certainly attempt to end our democracy as we know it in their states. Obviously. That's definitely the main thing we're looking for. We, you know, if anything, the American right has been against the Constitution all this time. The whole time. The entire time. We hate it and we just don't like it. Even though we talk about it all the time to fool you guys. Yeah. Generally speaking, we just dislike our system so much. It's not you guys on the left that are constantly criticizing it and lighting cities on fire. That's not, that's not. That's not. That's. not a...
Starting point is 00:07:45 Do you remember, Stu, when we talked about... Let me see if I can pull this up real quick. Do you remember when we talked about the Fabian Society? What do you recall from that? Oh, gosh. Start with a window. Do you remember the window? Stained glass window?
Starting point is 00:08:00 Oh, wow, you didn't learn a damn thing. Well, I wasn't listening to the show. I should point that out. No, I do. It's been a long time. I did. I watched the show a lot. I learned a lot back then.
Starting point is 00:08:08 And then other meaningless information has entered my brain and has, has, has, won the battle against that that particular series of shows. Apparently, you'll start talking about it and I'll remember. Okay, so listen to this. So you remember the Fabian Socialist, let me just recap. Fabian Socialist was started by George Bernard Shaw and a couple of others. They started the London School of Economics. Yep.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Okay. Everybody loves the London School. Oh, the London School of Economic. Yeah. You know who's involved in it now? George Soros. So it was started. This school was started.
Starting point is 00:08:44 by the Fabian Socialists and and their the shield or their logo, if you will, is an actual wolf in sheep's clothing. Not real subtle. I think we got it here. But listen to this. The window, they're talking about this stained glass window, which I didn't know. I was doing some research on this the other day. It was stolen in 1978.
Starting point is 00:09:12 and it was gone until like 2002. They didn't know where it was. And then it shows up at Sotheby's and they sell it. And I'm wondering, wait, how do you? It was stolen. Usually stolen stuff doesn't get auction. Doesn't get auction houses. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Anyway, the window explicitly reflects the goal of the Fabian Society to portray an outward role contrary to its real character, to use deception in. pursuing its ultimate aim. Specifically, a wolf's in sheep clothing is the image that appears in the shield above the world being wrought in the Fabian mold. The biblical reference comes from the New Testament and warning where Jesus was warning about false prophets that come in sheep's clothing, but apparently ravaging wolves. Authors G. Edward Griffin in his book, the creature from Jekyll Island, had given voice to this reality that this shield image highlights the distinguishing figure
Starting point is 00:10:10 of the feature of the Fabians as compared to the communist. Fabian's desire to create a socialist state using subversive tactics opposed to the communist method of revolution and violence. We talked about this in 2008, but that's what you're seeing now. They're just so desperate and they no longer have the media to give it credibility. Before, they used to be able to say, that's a threat to democracy. and the media would parrot that and everybody would go,
Starting point is 00:10:42 that's a threat to democracy. Now we're on to the game. All of the wolves and sheep, we're like, guys, we see the teeth. We know you're not a sheep. We know now. And it is, it's phenomenal to see once you wake up how clear everything becomes.
Starting point is 00:11:07 It's really, I mean, this is biblical. This is, I don't know. We're living in an incredible period of history right now. It's also helpful when they put the actual wolf in sheep's clothing in their logo. That really is helpful to help us see it clearly. But still people in England don't. People still don't. I mean, it was the monster from Jekyll Island, that book that was the first to really reveal,
Starting point is 00:11:35 Hey, by the way, look at the window. has crazy. Let's see. And you know what? Selina Zito talks about that. Let me just give you this. She talks about that in the Federman thing. Where is she?
Starting point is 00:11:53 Here it is. The painful story of how John Federman arrived at Tuesday night's humiliation. Listen to this. This is amazing. Most of the voters watching it surely seem and speak at small rallies where he struggled on the best. But he seemed over. but now they were fully realizing that he was just repeating memorized lines and could not actually comprehend when others tried to converse with him. Many of those watching had no idea how bad
Starting point is 00:12:21 Federman's health was, causing disbelief that no one had reported this sooner. Many were angry that Democrats and reporters knew about this the whole time. One reporter who did mention Federman's inability to converse, NBC news reporter Dasha Burns was viciously attacked for her dispassionate reporting, not just from Federman's campaign and supporters, but also Blue Check journalist on Twitter and her own NBC News colleague Savannah Guthrie. Unfortunately, the accurate story about Federman instead became a false story about Burns and even an attempt to destroy her career. This included a veiled threat from Federman's wife,
Starting point is 00:13:08 who used her large platform to demand an apology from Burns while threatening consequences for her reporting. One has to wonder what those consequences would have been. And so the truth about John Federman's cognitive abilities remained buried, a secret, but a secret well-known to journalists with personal access to him since late July and those who have observed him, failing to comprehend anything his supporters say to him on the rope line.
Starting point is 00:13:38 They said and wrote nothing. The question is, why? Were they afraid they would receive the vicious cancel treatment and threats that Burns got? Were they afraid they would hurt the political team that they were not so secretly rooting for? Either reason is a stain on the journalistic profession. Those culpable should really never again mock anyone who question the honesty of the press. Then she goes into how the Democrats were doing the same thing. This is the way it used to work.
Starting point is 00:14:14 This is why they try everything to silence you. They do everything they can to control social media. Because social media really is. Talk radio was the only defense. Before social media, it was programs like this in Rush Limbaugh that allowed you to talk, allowed the voice of Middle America to be heard. No other format allowed that. We also, because of Rush Limbaugh, had millions and millions and millions of listeners, and that hadn't happened before. So that was the beginning of the end.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Once, I mean, I worked, you know, 30 years to gain an audience, learn enough to be able to have people want to hear what I have to say and trust that I'm not a complete idiot. I am an idiot, but not a complete idiot. But the audience now has an audience. You can have an audience. You most likely do, even if it's a couple hundred on Facebook. You have an audience every day. That's what they've got to stop because that's the regular person. Whether they're the crazy guy that nobody talks to down, you know, on the corner that everybody's like,
Starting point is 00:15:43 hey, kids, don't talk to him. And definitely don't take any candy from him. He's a teacher. You know, you got that guy. Nobody ever heard him. But that guy who's like, you know, pedophilia's not that bad. He's now got, you know, 5,000 people because there's 5,000 people that believe that. That's what they try to use as a threat to democracy.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Are those people who have lived amongst us forever, but they were quiet. I'd rather know who they are. But the media needs to build those voices up to scare you. To scare you, so you go, somebody's got to stop this. and you go running into the arms of the people who are trying to silence everybody, not just the pedophiles, everybody. But now, because the genies out of the bottle and with Elon Musk yesterday taking over Twitter, last night 11 o'clock he tweeted, the bird is free.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Things are going to change. You don't trust the media anymore. What's sad is a lot of people. people now are getting their news from TikTok. TikTok. I've never seen anybody with a clue on TikTok. By the way, that's another thing. Did you know that TikTok, the algorithm here shows us stupid people?
Starting point is 00:17:18 The algorithm for America shows us stupid people, shows us doing stupid things. We all laugh. Do you know what the algorithm is for TikTok in China? The algorithm there highlights young. people doing amazing things. Now, is that a coincidence that they know by showing people doing amazing things in China, it will shape their culture into people going, that's how you become famous, a star, or that's how you succeed.
Starting point is 00:17:50 And ours is, I just ate 12 boogers from my friend's nose. And that's what makes you a star in America. I mean, that video in particular was pretty good, but I know what you're saying. I mean, I've never seen anybody to do that before. I mean, I was like, he's not going to eat another one. Oh, he just did it. Is there possibly a warning sign when I think it's 24% of all young people get their news directly from the Chinese government? Do you think that that could have any negative consequences in our future?
Starting point is 00:18:21 Donald Trump was right. One of the last things he did was ban it. He has no power to ban it. But he had the right. instinct. Yeah, he kicked his legs out and they were wobbly. And the first thing that Biden did was shore him up. I will say. And he's, you know, look, Trump was right on that as well as a lot of other people who recognize we should not get our freaking news directly from the Chinese government. Why on earth would anyone think that's okay? We all know the Chinese communist government is not a good
Starting point is 00:18:55 influence on the United States. Because nobody, let me explain why that's working in just a minute. 60 seconds. Let me tell you about relief factor. It's that that walk that you have gone on with your dog every day, the one that bothers your knees in the end, one that bothers you because you're back or whatever it is. It's that couple of hours you'd like to spend sitting in one place leaning over a table, putting all that World War II fighter plane model together and feeling like you just got attacked by that plane when you stand up. It's just, just about being able to feel good in the morning when otherwise you might not. That's what Relief Factor is all about.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Relief Factor wants to give you those times back. Get your life back. If you're in pain, please try this. It reduces inflammation, hits it four different ways. Ibuprofen is only hitting it one. That's why it doesn't, ibuprofen doesn't do jack for me. This works. For me, it's a miracle.
Starting point is 00:19:55 And for so many people, it's the same. 1995 to try it out for three weeks. Take it as directed. See if it doesn't work for you. Relieffactor.com. Call 800 the number four relief. It's not a drug so it's not going to space you out. This is great.
Starting point is 00:20:10 All natural. 800, the number four relief. Relief factor. Feel the difference. Ten seconds. Station ID. So double whammy on the podcast today. We have Kerry Lake is our
Starting point is 00:20:37 as our podcast that we released, I think, on Tuesday or Wednesday. And then who is it? It's Vody, right? Vody Bachman from Africa. He was in town. He's an amazing guy, an amazing guy. He's a preacher from America, grew up in the streets of L.A. Now in Africa, he's running a university there.
Starting point is 00:20:59 But, boy, he tells it like it is. Doesn't really put up with the woke stuff, I noticed. Not a fan. Not a fan. Not a fan. Really early smart guy. So yeah, really great guy.
Starting point is 00:21:10 He was actually, they wanted him to be the head of the Southern Baptist Convention. And because there's a political split in that. It didn't work out. Didn't work out. However, he is playing a big role in that to try to save that faith, that group of people and make sure they're not getting into wokeism.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Anyway, we were talking about the media and Stu before we went into a break, you said, Oh, you don't even remember. This is trouble because I'm using you to remember what I was going to take. We were talking about the media. We were talking about TikTok. Here's why it doesn't. Here's why people are getting their news.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Because people trust other people. Even if they don't know them, they trust someone else more than they trust the media. It's why when you look like the media, when you are all polished and produced, it's not as effective as when you're just holding your phone and telling the story. People feel they want to get it from somebody like them closest to the situation. program. I want you to hear from Olivia, whose visit to a pre-born clinic made all the difference in the world. Listen. So I felt like the only ones that were really there for me were the women at the clinic and it actually did empower me and help me. I was late enough to get my ultrasound. Still remember, you know, healing everything. It was changing. I said I would not get an abortion.
Starting point is 00:22:58 So I was going to raise this baby with or without him. So he said without. I think it, it's a little. I think it, If I didn't find the clinic, and I probably would have considered abortion, the women there are just so kind. They're just so genuine. I would not be this strong without the clinic. My dreams now revolve around my son. Here's the amazing thing. I've talked to many of these women and been to the clinics of preborn, and they don't just save
Starting point is 00:23:20 the baby. They work hard to save the family and the mom, and they're there after birth for many years. Please join the preborn family. All gifts are tax deductible. 100% of your gift goes towards saving babies. Just dial pound 250, say the keyword baby. Pound 250, say the keyword baby, or go to preborn.com slash Beck. Starting point is 00:23:47 BlazTV.com slash Glenn. The promo code is Glenn. You'll save 10 bucks off your subscription to Blaze TV. Hello, you sick, twisted freak. And welcome to Pat Gray from Pat Gray Unleashed. Hello, Pat. Hello, Glenn. So it's Friday.
Starting point is 00:24:15 What is the biggest story of the week or the thing that is, that everybody should, everybody should go, wait a minute, wait a minute, and it doesn't have to be any story. Hmm. Any story. Any story from the week. May I jump in here first? Yes. John Federman's debate. That was going to be my answer as well.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Oh, crap. Yeah. Sorry, I was just giving you the time to think of something else. No. The Federman debate, which I just took from past. as his idea, but I'd like to comment on your idea if I could. Sure, go ahead. Just to give you an update, there's been a couple
Starting point is 00:24:46 polls that have come out since the debate. One has Oz Up 3. Another one just released has Oz Up 2. That should be 6 to 8. I wanted 6 or 7. That's what I wanted. I was hoping for 6 or 7. Now, these are the first couple. So sometimes after these big cultural events happen, people don't necessarily watch them live. They see all the clips afterward and everything else,
Starting point is 00:25:07 all the conversation afterwards. So sometimes it takes a little bit to build. The good news, Oz ahead, bad news I would like to see more. That's what I would like to see. Uh-huh. But I mean, you had to be just perplexed that this even occurred, weren't you, Pat? I mean, I can't even believe they let the guy on stage. I know, and I think they really regret it, even though they're trying to paint it as, he did just a marvelous job.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Oh, he did so much better than anybody even anticipated. Do you remember, do you remember how they treated Ross Perrault's running mate? General Stockdale. Stockdale. Oh, yeah. Oh, my gosh. Gosh. But not a politician. Right.
Starting point is 00:25:43 And they were talking all this politic mumbo-jumbo between the two of them. And he went, I don't even know why I'm here. And what he was making a comment on is, I don't do this. This is ridiculous and everybody knows it. But the media spun it like, we wonder what he was doing. He didn't know what he was talking about. He was an admiral, by the way, not a general. Yeah, Admiral Stockdale.
Starting point is 00:26:06 But he was a really well, like, accomplished guy with an incredible history. and they just ravaged him. I used to call him Lieutenant Colonel on Stockton. Oh, really? Yeah. Okay. I'm sorry. They get a lot of titles.
Starting point is 00:26:18 Yeah. Anyway, it was amazing what used to happen. Yes. And now. And they act like. And now they're acting like this is normal. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:26:31 And you're supposed to welcome him with open arms. Oh, what do you hate disabled people all of a sudden? It's so true. It's so ridiculous. Yes, I just hate all disabled people. It's like, honestly, it would be like taking your driver's test from a blind man. Right. I don't know it.
Starting point is 00:26:53 You don't like blind people? Now? Turn here. Not to drive. Right here. Now, turn. It's a house if I turn now. Turn now.
Starting point is 00:27:02 Okay, not a good idea. That's a good example, too, because you love blind people. They're fine. Nobody has a problem with a blind person. You just don't want them driving. Correct. Correct. I don't want my Uber driver to have a giant white stick with a rent stripe at the bottom off of the bumper.
Starting point is 00:27:20 He just has trouble processing road signs. That's all. That's all. It's no big deal. I mean, he's still thinking about how to drive. He can still move his arms back and forth. His feet work fine. It's just he can't see what the road signs or the dots on the road mean.
Starting point is 00:27:36 He can't process them. He can't see them. He just can't process them. Can we go lower? Can we have a lower bar for standards? Think of that. Can we have a lower? I think we can and probably will very soon. Look what they've gotten us used to already. You got a president who's compromised. You've got a Speaker of the House who I think is compromised. We talked about Diane Feinstein. You got John Federman. I mean, come on. Yeah. By the way, speaking of Nancy Pelosi, our prayers. should be on Nancy Pelosi's husband. Apparently there was something that happened.
Starting point is 00:28:14 There was a break-in at the house. Yeah, and he was beaten. And was beaten badly. And he's in the hospital. They expect him to fully recover. But yeah. But, yeah, he's, I mean, he's, what, 82 or something? Yeah, that's bad.
Starting point is 00:28:26 Yeah, that's bad. I mean, no idea about any, what the motive was, whether it was a normal break-in or something else, who knows. I mean, we know what the left is saying. In fact, I'm looking at Twitter. They're saying it already that, of course, it was some conservative who broke in to do this. Now, we don't know anything about it. And if it was, we won't be like them.
Starting point is 00:28:43 He's no conservative. Right. We won't be like them. We won't predict the news here. We will just wait for the facts to come out. But either way, I mean, it's obviously a terrible, terrible incident. I mean, you know, Nancy doesn't live exactly in a bad neighborhood. This is not, you know.
Starting point is 00:29:00 Everything there now is a bad neighborhood. Yeah, that's the problem. I mean, everything is bad now. And these people that think that. their friends are on the left, you're seeing it. We saw it with The View this week when, you know, they weren't protesting Ted Cruz. They were protesting the show, the view, for not covering climate change enough. And Whoopie screams, you know, hey, let us do our job.
Starting point is 00:29:30 And they just disrupted the whole show. She should just said, hey, we're a bunch of idiots and we don't understand anything. So don't ask us to talk about something complicated. Because that would have made sense. You really want them talking about climate? No. You don't. Trust me, no matter what side you're on, you don't want these idiots talking about it.
Starting point is 00:29:48 They don't have a single fact in their heads. Ever. I mean, combined, they don't have a fact in their heads. It's like, how can we combine the absolute dumbest people in our society on a show? How do we do it? Hey, let me try Jersey Shore. Let's try this. We've talked about this multiple times.
Starting point is 00:30:02 You remember how tied up or buttoned up you used to have to be. on CNN and Fox. Oh, my God. If you would have screwed up the facts every night. One time. I mean, just one time would have been enough probably to get you off the air. Oh, that was made very clear to us. Do you remember?
Starting point is 00:30:22 Oh, yeah. I'm the only person to ever lose money working at Fox News because I paid a million dollars a year for my own research team because I knew. To check everything. It had to be checked, double check, triple check before you went with it on the year. He's like, you cannot do it. And we were lucky. We worked at CNN, which hated me. And they would not let the show air live.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Yeah. And so we had to tape it. And sometimes it would take three hours to tape a one hour show. Because they'd stop it and say, give me the facts on that. We're like, we already, everything's footnoted. That can't be true. Okay, here it is. And so we'd argue back and forth.
Starting point is 00:31:05 We never changed a word of the script. but they would check everything. Whereas the witches in the coven on the view, just spew out nonsense every single day and nobody even calls them on it. And that's a branch of ABC News. I know that? I do. Yes, I do.
Starting point is 00:31:22 ABC News. That's Barbara Walter's show. Unbelievable. Yeah. So anyway, nobody's listening. Nobody's watching. What is the way? I'd love to see the ratings of the view over the last 10 years.
Starting point is 00:31:36 I don't, I mean, I don't know why, I guess because it's on television, I don't know anybody. Do you know anybody who watches television? I don't, especially not the view. Yeah. I don't know anybody who watches it. But I don't, I don't even know anybody who watches prime time television. No, no. I don't.
Starting point is 00:31:57 I mean, the only time I turn on, you know, the cable or the satellite is to watch Tucker and football. Yeah, that's the only time I watch. is for football. It's crazy. It is. So how do these people, I mean, is no one telling them, guys, you're losing everybody. Everybody. Apparently not.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Apparently not. I mean, it's a little difficult to, it's sort of the story of television right now where their ratings against their opponents, daytime talk show are pretty strong. Yeah, but their ratings. Yes. Their ratings versus their old ratings are very, very much down. I mean, there are audiences much smaller than it used to be. But as it compares to the other shows, it does pretty well.
Starting point is 00:32:42 Yeah, you want to look at, I don't want to get all technically here, but you want to look at QM. You want to look at how many eyeballs are watching. Well, it definitely seems like it's fallen off in dramatic fashion as far as cultural impact. I mean, there were times where we did this show where it was like the big topic for multiple weeks at a time, the view, where someone would say something stupid usually. And it was like a big deal. And everyone was talking about what they said on the show. the view. I mean, once the last time Joy Behar said anything of, well, I'd have to go back to the 1400s for Joy Behar of saying something of consequence. But I mean, but she was like,
Starting point is 00:33:14 I'm getting pretty old. But like, you know, like Elizabeth Hasselback. Remember when she was on that show? And like people like, there were like big blowups all the time. They were, it was a big news story. seemingly every other week there was a big blow up on that show. I mean, I guess occasionally when Megan McCain was on there, there was some stories that, that was always every once in a while. But really, I can't remember the last time we heard any... The only time we have any clips are when Whoopie said something clearly, demonstrably false. And that's been the one consistent thing since the beginning of the show. She's done that multiple times.
Starting point is 00:33:48 She's a horrible human being. But I'm not judging her. No, no, no. I just said she'll burn in the fires of hell. Yeah. For all time. Right. But who are we to judge?
Starting point is 00:33:59 You're not a judge. No one's judge. You're no one's judge. I was very disappointed in her when she justified blackface from her, then boyfriend. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We don't bring that up anymore. Okay. All right, stay with us, Pat, because I want to talk to you about Elon Musk and Twitter.
Starting point is 00:34:15 That may be the biggest story of the week as well, but we just don't know it yet. We'll talk about that coming up in just a few minutes. Stand by. First, let me ask you something about your mobile phone service company. The money you send them every single month. Now, that would be a weird question to ask, hey, you know that money you're? send? What are they doing with it? You'd usually be like, I don't care. However, when you find out that some of the big cell service providers are funding planned parenthood, I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:50 I have a problem with that. So can you switch to a company that is not spending their money, your hard-earned money that you pay them? They take their money. Can you find a company that is not going to do that. Every time you make a phone call, you're fueling the end of the Republic. Yeah, there is one company. It's the only Christian conservative phone, mobile phone service out there. It is Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile. You're going to get great service. They're on the same cell towers. So you're going to get the same coverage. And everybody's in America. So you're going to get, you know, people when you call and need help, you know, they, like, Blake American. And you also will save a buttload of money every month.
Starting point is 00:35:39 They have something for everybody. You just call them up and switch today. And by the way, you can get free activation with the offer code Beck free. All you have to do is just go to PatriotMobil.com slash Beck or call them at 972 Patriot. Mike sure you'd spike your mic. 972 Patriot or PatriotMobil.com slash Beck. The Glenn Back program. Miss a day.
Starting point is 00:36:02 Miss a lot. at blaisTV.com today and never miss a moment of truth. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. So Elon Musk, he's got a big task. He's got to figure out how this company that has had more free advertising than any other company in the history
Starting point is 00:36:33 of the world, Twitter, how come they're not making money? Let me give you a little tip. This is from TikTok, made by one of the Twitter employees. Listen to this. Welcome to a day in my life as a Twitter. employee so this past week went to SF for the first time at a Twitter office
Starting point is 00:36:54 badged in honestly took a moment to just soak everything and what a blessing also started my morning off with an iced macha from the perch then I had a meeting so quickly scheduled one of these little pod rooms which were so cool they're literally noise cancelling took my meeting got ready for a bunch look how delicious this food looks oh my goodness I was so overwhelmed Then made my way down to this log cabin area. I don't know what this is, but it was really cool. I played some foosball with my friends to kind of unwinded from the meal.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Of course. Also found this really cool meditation room that I thought was super neat. I didn't do any yoga, but they had this yoga room. So I also thought that was really cool. Had a couple more meetings in the afternoon, had a ton of projects that we needed to knock out. Say hi to my teammates. went to the library to kind of get some more work done. Obviously, had to have our afternoon coffee, so made some espresso.
Starting point is 00:37:59 And then before leaving for the day, had some red wine on tap. Went up to the rooftop and just honestly enjoyed the beautiful. She's unwinding from the stress of it. Unwinding. Yeah. Yeah, what a grueling day. Yeah. Grueling.
Starting point is 00:38:18 grueling. And the lunch. I can't admit. Well, they have chefs that really cut top chefs. It looked really good. And I can't, uh, I can't imagine what he's going to cut. What could you possibly cut out of that? It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:38:35 And, you know, companies are struggling with this now. You can't get, remember when we used to say, yeah, wait until they get in the real world? Yeah. Yeah. That's not a thing. That's not a thing anymore. They got into the real world. And they changed it.
Starting point is 00:38:47 We folded. Yeah. We folded. Yep. You know, I've got to have my, I've got to have my latte and I need a yoga room. There are companies that I know, big companies that I know that are, you would be privileged to work at. They're now having to have happy hours and bring in lunch or breakfast just to get people to show up to work. Unreal.
Starting point is 00:39:10 It's crazy. It's unreal. It really is incredible. I remember we had an executive in one point from one of the oil companies. a former like CEO of an oil company, one of the big ones. And he was like, look, you know, we look at this climate thing. It's like, we understand all this activism is going to happen. But in the end, you know, people need oil and they're going to wind up.
Starting point is 00:39:31 Reality is going to hit him in the face. And it's interesting because I had that view for a long time with like, you know, younger generations who would eventually... It's just not the case. Like, I know I had views when I was 18 that were completely ridiculous that I would look at today and say, oh, God, that was wrong. but when reality sort of hit me and I grew up and I became an adult and I saw these things happen, I was able to look at reality and adjust my viewpoints. I don't know that that happens with these generations that have been like drill. It's been drilled into their head, all these crazy things from birth.
Starting point is 00:40:02 So here's what's happening. It's just on steroids. The generation, the World War II generation, they were steeped in hard work and everything else. Then the hippie generation showed up and they changed everything. They changed free love. They changed the way the office worked. Nobody was wearing ties anymore. All of that stuff.
Starting point is 00:40:23 Then we were the one. I was the one after the hippie generation. And I feel like I've spent my whole life trying to clean up the mess after the hippies. The same thing is happening. The generation that is in their 30s now, they're the new hippie generation. And the, what is it, the Z generation, whatever, the new generation, Gen Z, they're more conservative and they're going to be the ones doing one they clean up the mess they clean up the mess yeah oh so sick of it so sick of it by the way gen z they are hardworking and much much
Starting point is 00:41:02 more conservative they're not buying into the crap their elders are preaching let me tell you about sweat block. If you have gone through deodorant and antiperspirants and they don't really hold up for you, there's nothing worse. There's nothing worse. And I know, and I say to my wife all the time, it used to, when I would hug her or somebody, I was like, do I smell? And she's like, no, you don't.
Starting point is 00:41:32 But I always felt I did because I sweat a lot. Sweatblock is an amazing product. want you to try. In fact, just go to try sweatblock.com. Try sweatblock.com. You're going to get a no strings attached starter package of sweatblock, the wipes for free. It's a different way to apply. They have the deodorant sticks and antiperspiram, and those are great. But I really want you to try the wipes because they're incredible. You wipe under each arm before you go to bed one night, get up in the morning, take a shower, and for a week, you don't apply anything. You don't apply anything. and there's, I mean, no sweating, no smelling.
Starting point is 00:42:14 It's amazing. Try sweatblock.com. Thank goodness. Thank goodness, Arizona. You've got crime. You've got crime taken care of. You've finally gotten rid of that 78-year-old grandmother who was arrested by police officers
Starting point is 00:43:30 because she was serving food to the homeless. She had just served 20,000. 28 people. Whoop, whoop. And the police come up. Hands on the car, grandma. Hands on the car. They've got her off the street.
Starting point is 00:43:47 You just don't want to mess with that. Of course, you can get fentanyl crack. No matter, you know, whatever. Hey, you want to buy a little kid to have sex with? Don't worry. You can do it. You got the border wide open. Why not?
Starting point is 00:44:02 We've got grandma in jail, however. Just when you think the world can't get more insane, there's a debate between Dr. Oz and a guy who's just had a stroke that can't process anything. And we're still looking going, is that going to change anything in this world of ours? The only person I trust to give us some insight or answers is, I think, the,
Starting point is 00:44:33 the journalist, the one that is still walking the beat and knows how to do journalism. Selena Zito, she's in Pennsylvania. That's her beat. She knows it. We go to her in 60 seconds. So what have I told you it's not only possible to get rid of the pain that you've been carrying around for so long, but you could potentially go back to feeling the way you used to. Remember those days? Back when you didn't have to check in with your body before everything you do, you're like, ah, better not do that. Better not to. Lift that. I had terrible pain all the time. And I went to the Mayo Clinic, Columbia University. I went everywhere. NYU trying to find something that would relieve the pain. I gave up finally. My wife said, have you tried the thing that the blaze is advertising? And I'm like, ah, it's, what? Are you kidding me? Really? I'm going to buy something that's advertised on the radio. That won't work. I just didn't think it would work because it reduces inflammation, and that's like ibuprofen to me,
Starting point is 00:45:38 and that has never done a thing for me. This is completely different. It attacks inflammation four different ways. So it covers a lot more people than ibuprofen does. 70% of the people who try this find amazing relief. They go on to order more month after month. So try it. Three weeks, 1995, just try it and see if it works for you.
Starting point is 00:46:03 you. Be part of that 70% that got their life back like me. 800, the number four relief. 8004 relief or Relieffactor.com. Feel the difference. Let's go to Selena Zito. Hello, Selena. How are you? Hello, Sunshine. How are you? Very good. You sound tired. Been working hard? I have a Tulula bankhead thing going. That's called spending a lot of time on the road and talking a lot of people. Yeah. Thank you for that, by the way. You're the Washington Examiner National Political Reporter. You're also a columnist for the New York Post and the co-author of The Great Revolt, which explained what happened in 2016. You get it because you actually talk to people.
Starting point is 00:46:52 You wrote an amazing article that has just come out, the painful story on how John Federman arrived at Tuesday Night's Humiliation. I read it on the air. just last hour. I want to get to that, but I first want to get your reaction on what are people saying, what are the voters saying? What's really happening on the ground there? You know, it's a funny story. I drove all the way out to the debate from Pittsburgh to Harrisburg. I got there, realized that the only people I would be watching the debate was other reporters. And I'm like, yeah, I'm not going to learn anything here. So all the way back, way across the state and stopped in a bar and just sat back and observed people watching the debate.
Starting point is 00:47:43 And they think the most powerful thing about watching those reactions was watching the realization on their faces. Because they had no idea that John Sutterman was in this bad of the condition. But they understood because he would do a rally here and there, spoke a couple times. They understood there was somewhat of a problem, but they didn't, they thought it was speech-related as opposed to cognitively related. And when he was put in a position where he had to answer questions and provided all the tools available to him and he still struggled, they now realized nobody has been taken. telling them this. I mean, I have, Joshua Burns has, but that's about it. All the other reporters
Starting point is 00:48:38 have just omitted that this is an issue. And so as they were talking among each other, they were really frustrated and angry at my profession for not being, demonstrating exactly what the problem is and being honest about what they've seen over the past couple months. but also really mad at other Democrats like Senator Bob Casey, who has stood on the deus with him in about a half a dozen events, maybe more, and talked about how terrific shape he did. And he even had the audacity to go on national news after the debate and said he did a terrific job.
Starting point is 00:49:26 Then you add that with the Philadelphia Inquirer saying that he won the debate, and CNN saying he won the debate. And you add all that together, and there's this sort of invisible and quiet thing going on with voters saying, y'all are gaslighting us and we're tired of it. So is it going to change the way people, we are so set in our camps now that I wonder if anything would change anybody's mind. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:49:59 Will this change their mind? I saw it. I saw it happening in real time. Look, one of the things that was so important about the book, The Great Revolt, it was that it was understood this coalition and this conservative populist coalition that formed long before Donald Trump ever stepped on the stage and remained intact. You look at Pennsylvania in 2020. So what happened?
Starting point is 00:50:26 Joe Biden won. Joe Biden won. Barely. What people did not talk about was that there was a significant red wave down ballot in the congressional races, in the statewide row office races, in the state house, in the state senate. That coalition remained together, once again proving that this was not about Trump, but it was about their lives, their communities, and how they are impacted. And I think that remains to be the underlying or the story that is consistently missed in reporting. And I'll give you an example of that. The other day, did you see the Kentucky coal miner who went to the basketball to watch the ones?
Starting point is 00:51:13 Yes. Yes. Okay. By the way, that's something I see all the time. To me, that was like, yeah, I mean, that's what people do. But, you know, everyone was like, oh, my God. But that image started to be shared across social media at the exact same time that the Washington Post wrote a story and said, why rural Americans are so angry and resentful and why they're voting Republican. And I thought, this is the perfect example, these two moments together of how my profession does not understand the very people that they're covering.
Starting point is 00:51:55 That coal miner was not angry and resentful that he had to go to the game like that. He was appreciative that he had a job to go to and the ability to leave that job and go sit in a basketball game. Yeah. So you bring up in your – so wait a minute. Before I go on to this, the polls show that Oz is now up two to three points. I would – in normal times, I would have expected that to be six, seven, eight. But who knows? What are you thinking about?
Starting point is 00:52:28 Is Federman going to win? Is there going to be enough space between them? Look, here's a challenge for Federman. And by the way, I would say it's been a challenge. I've been reporting this since mid-September. Dr. Oz, who I was incredibly skeptical of in the beginning when he first announced he was running, has actually proved and matured as a very, good candidate. Someone who goes into those places, as I call the middle of somewheres, and talks to the voters that
Starting point is 00:53:05 nobody thinks about. And he listened to them. I have logged on thousands of miles on the back roads with odds. Watched him in rural areas. Watched him in majority, minority areas, just listening to voters. Where, by the way, no other reporter would be. So he's not there to get a photo off. No one's there. I'm there. And he's actually doing it because he wants to understand. It was a long way of telling you that I have always thought that John Fetterman was losing them. Remember, he was up 12 percentage points. Yeah. But he also has no ability to gain voters. And it's not just based on his illness. You know, I've been doing, I don't know if anybody's reading it, but I've been reporting that as mayor, the whole sort of elevated story that you
Starting point is 00:54:07 saw in the Rolling Stone and the Atlantic and New York Times, these glossy, beautiful pieces about how he saved this borough in southwestern Pennsylvania. I've been covering him since 2005. He didn't save that town, fairly ever there. He didn't attend the events. He'd really have very little power to begin with. Crime went up. Population declined. And the heart and soul of that town, the hospital, where there was
Starting point is 00:54:38 the only sit-down restaurant for people to go to in the cafeteria was torn down. I hope people go to salinasdeo.com and read the reporting that I've been doing. I know I'm not on social media, but that reporting has been there for months.
Starting point is 00:54:58 I saw the story on that when it came out. And how do the people of the town feel when they're hearing, hey, he saved our town? Well, that was the beauty of that story. That wasn't me telling everyone that. That was them saying that. They talked about how their town didn't get better. They talked about no jobs coming in. They talked about the people that have fled to get out of there because there's no hope.
Starting point is 00:55:27 and there's no opportunity. And they talked about it always being just about him and never about them. And they talked about him going after one of their neighbors, a young black man who was jogging and he put a shotgun to his chest and kept him there because he thought he was some sort of criminal. Yeah. And by the way, that young man's life has been destroyed. The young man's life has been destroyed.
Starting point is 00:55:56 and he has never been apologized to. Or the kind that he went up to a local bar, a nightclub, owned by way, by a black entrepreneur, and changed the wording on the signs at 2 o'clock in the morning and a camera caught it saying that it was closed and not open because he deemed it unworthy to be opened in the town. These are the stories that people are radical tell you, not the stories, not me saying this.
Starting point is 00:56:26 This is them saying this. That's why I think that reporting is so important, let alone that he didn't pay his taxes in his poorest school district. In one of the poorest school districts in the state, he didn't pay the school tax. And, you know, it frustrated me every time all these glossy stories were put out there, you know, with him standing in front of a steel mill. at the same time his parents were paying for his education. I mean, paying for his family's lifestyle. You know, it's amazing to me. He reminds me of, in many ways, Carl Marx.
Starting point is 00:57:05 Carl Marks was a horrible human being that never paid a dime of his own way. He practically bankrupt his parents. He lived off his parents and then his family for his whole life. never really accomplished anything. Oh my gosh. That's astounding. I can't even imagine not wanting to have purpose in your life in that way, other than the purpose of power, which is what I believe that it is, this has always been about. Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:38 So, Selena, hang on just a second. If you could hold for one minute, I want to do a commercial, then come back. And I want to talk to you about the press and the Democrats that have stood by. you brought up in your latest article on the Washington Examiner. And I'd love some answers on what do you think is really happening there? We'll go to Selena Zion, return with her here in 60 seconds. Stand by. How often you find yourself just going through the motions when it comes to feeding your dog?
Starting point is 00:58:09 Bowl empty, grab the bowl of kibble, fill her up. But today, tonight, I want you to take just a minute as you're feeding your dog and really think about what's in that kibble food. All kibble food, no matter how good it is, no matter how expensive it is, it's dead food because it has to be sterilized to be able to last on the shelf for a couple of years. That would be like if you just lived on, you know, McDonald's McRibbs. Not good. Not good. So what do you do? Well, kibble food is fine if you put the nutrients and the vitamins and the probiotics and the antioxidants back into it.
Starting point is 00:58:49 And that is exactly what happens with Rough Greens. This is something you've just put on your dog's food as you're feeding them. They love it. And you watch the change in your dog over that next year. It's remarkable. Roughgreens.com slash Beck. Roughgreens.com slash Beck. Call 833 GLEENN-33.
Starting point is 00:59:09 Roughgreens.com slash Beck or 833 Glenn 33. Call them today. 10 seconds station ID. Okay. So we're talking to Selena Zito. because selina zito.com is her web address but she writes for the new york post and also the washington examiner when in 2016 when you nailed what was happening you were the only one that the media went how did she get this so right um and you wrote a book about it you went to work um for
Starting point is 00:59:49 cnn as a contributor there and i know you selina i know you you probably walked in at first hoping that people will actually listen and get it. And then they didn't. And thus, they're down the toilet even more. Why are they not looking, why are they not exposing things like Federman? Are they afraid or are they afraid of being ostracized by their own group? Or is it that they just won't do it because they're on the bandwagon? I have an entire chapter about this in my book, and I think that it's probably the one that people should really, really read.
Starting point is 01:00:37 It's called a culture craving respect. And the problem with my profession is the same problem that you see in corporate America in major news organizations, but also in institutions and government, but also even in sports organizations. in that the people in the boardrooms are all come from the same they all live in the same super zip codes what do I mean by super zip codes the wealthiest counties in the country they all went to the same
Starting point is 01:01:11 great schools now they may have come from Iowa but they left that far behind once they got to D.C. or New York and so what happens is when they go to whether it is write a story or do a commercial or make a boneheaded decision like the NFL did and let Colin Kaepernick do whatever he wanted,
Starting point is 01:01:35 despite having a contract that said, you cannot do this, is because they are so disconnected from the people who read their stories, who buy their tickets, who sit in their seats. That is the larger problem, right? That's where the problem begins. It began at the same time where more companies kept buying up small. power companies. So there's less local connection to the people who buy your products, but also local news organizations started to shutter. And so people had to gravitate to buying their items and or reading their news from places that don't know them. They don't know anyone
Starting point is 01:02:21 that sits in a pew every Sunday. They don't know anyone that says a prayer before dinner. They don't know anyone that owns a gun. They don't know anybody else who use a gun. And so because of that, when they plop into a place, freak show. They look at the people and say, you're, y'all are a freak show. I have one minute. I have one minute. The reporter that her job was threatened, I mean, she was just beat up by everybody from NBC. Yeah. Yeah. And she folded. Was that a message? did everybody who was covering this know clearly how bad Federman was? Yes, they did. I was still, watch them watch the same things I'd think.
Starting point is 01:03:09 They knew. They always knew. Sasha Burns is a very good reporter, and I will sing her praises forever, because she has kept on that story, and she continues to keep on the story. I would keep an eye on her. And I think it's interesting that it's a young woman in a 16, three-year-old grandma that only have the nerves
Starting point is 01:03:28 are right. Okay. One last question, ten seconds. Fetterman going to win or Oz? What? I think it ends up I think it ends up being Oz. I hope you're right this time. Thank you so much, Selena. God bless, and we'll follow your reporting. SelinaZito.com.
Starting point is 01:03:49 The Glenn Back Program. You know, Tunnel to Tower has partnered with this program and with me because I really truly believe in them. And they have the same mission in many ways that the American Journey experience has in M1. They want to preserve history. Right now, our kids, if you're grades K through 12, you're not getting anything on September
Starting point is 01:04:16 11th. They're not learning about it. How is that possible? They have a new institute, 9-11 Institute, that teaches kids and gives scripts and gives literature, everything for the teachers to be able to discover the heroes. They have discovering heroes a book series that accompanies the curriculum. They have an 1100 square foot mobile museum touring with 9-111-11 artifacts. They're doing all kinds of stuff.
Starting point is 01:04:48 They know. Remember. That's, I think, what the most used command in the scriptures. Remember. Remember. Never forget, help them out on their mission. Tunnel to Towers, it's T, the number two t.org. That's T2T.org. BlazeTV.com slash Glenn. The promo code is Glenn. You'll get 10 bucks off your subscription to Blaze TV. I love Michael Malice. He is the host of the podcast. You're welcome. And he, this is what it says on my sheet here from my producers.
Starting point is 01:05:34 a comedian attempts to convince Glenn to endorse John Federman. Go at it, Michael. And I know you're doing this just because you think Federman in office would be fun. No, that's not correct. That's not correct. And I also want to point out something else. I had a correction issued from Vice Magazine, which had said correction in a previous article, Michael Malice was identified as a comedian.
Starting point is 01:06:03 Right. So I am not a comedian. Well, that's why I'm on this show, where humor goes to die and common sense. All right, all right, all right. So why are you going to try to convince me to vote for John Federman? I don't think, I'm not convinced you to vote for him because you're not in Pennsylvania, but I will convince you that it's a good thing that he defeats Dr. Oz and for a couple of reasons. Would you agree with me that it is a superior situation for America that we went,
Starting point is 01:06:33 Obama, Obama Trump, than if we had gone Obama Romney Romney in the elections? Yes. So if you went back in time to 2012 and you told yourself, Glenn, quit now, you're going to be a mess in 10 years. But other than that, you should prefer and get rid of Stu because he's out of control. But you should prefer that Obama take this election because it's going to work out in the long term. You would have thought you were crazy, but that would have been the correct result, right? Okay. So wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 01:07:02 Wait, am I right? No, no, no, no. I'm leading the, you're on the road, sir. No, I, could I, may I speak? Yeah, it's, go ahead. All right. I stopped, I stopped trying to figure out long-term strategies after Trump, because I realized, you know what, it's got, it'll, it'll all work out for the best, just do the next right thing. and you'll never convince me that the next right thing is to have John Federman in. I can convince you very easily, and this is why, because the only power of the Republican base has over the Republican Party is to refuse to put rhinos into Congress. That is their only power. We saw it in 2016 where establishment candidate after establishment candidate was the stop Trump candidate. We're seeing it now in 2022, where Mitch McConnell is pulling money from New Hampshire when Boldich has a chance against Maggie.
Starting point is 01:08:00 Hassan if it's a wave election and he's putting into whatever north or south carolina right which is definitely going to go to republican because Mitch McConnell wants that vote that's going to be more loyal to him than towards the magowing and to the american people so if you are going hold on let me just finish if you're going to take loss this somewhere or other it's better to have that loss be a democrat who can't even talk than let's suppose a Barack Obama who's charismatic or nancy Pelosi who is a good parliamentarian. Okay, except I don't think he would serve out his full term.
Starting point is 01:08:33 And that would put his wife in the privacy. That's fine, but the point is, Oz Woods, let's, right, right, right, right. Okay, okay. No, let me say one more sentence. If you're on the debate stage saying that your goal is to work with the Democrats and your goal is to tighten up background checks, you know perfectly well how this person is going to govern. But this is, wait, but your point being that the anti-Trump candidates, right,
Starting point is 01:08:56 were the establishment people. but this is this is this is this is this guy Trump endorsed Romney twice Trump only cares if someone returns his calls oh silence exactly you have nothing to say okay well I don't know I have a lot to say John Federman in office would be very very bad would be very bad would be how why do you want a competent Democrat because you want someone who's good at being a Democrat no no no if he's going to if we have to have an incumbent
Starting point is 01:09:26 Democrat one that is terrible. Like, in some ways would be preferable because maybe they'd be easier to beat. This is also a strategy that's been attempted by the Democrats multiple times, and it has not worked out particularly well. We got John, we have, we have Joe Biden on the same strategy. I don't want another incompetent person in there. Would you rather have Obama in the White House right now than Joe Biden? Uh, no. Oh, interesting. I'd have to think about that. Yeah. I mean, isn't it a good thing that Diane Feinstein, according to the New York Post? was told three times by Chuck Schumer that she has to retire and she agreed three times
Starting point is 01:10:02 and three times she forgot about their conversation. Isn't that a good thing? Yes, it is. It is. But I- Isn't it a good thing when the Democratic parties regard as a laughing stock as John Stewart made the Bush administration for eight years instead of some organization that people can look up to and admire? Look, Michael, Michael, listen to me, listen to me. These are all good things if it's not a good night on election night or a bad election day on the next morning having you on saying these things will go, you know what? You're right. It is a good thing that betterman is in there. You're right. It's save that. Save that. Because I'll need that. Is there any situation where you would prefer that the
Starting point is 01:10:47 Democratic candidate win over the Republican candidate? I think this, and this speaking for myself here, I usually am incredibly, I hate partisanship. This particular election, I'm more partisan than normal because I want there to be an ability to stop what they are doing. The fact is like Dr. Oz, as I've stated a thousand times, is not the candidate that I want as a Republican senator. However, these votes matter and the fact that we may have Supreme Court justices that they're going to be able to push through and things of that nature, I think. are really important. So control of the Senate matters to me. If we can get up to 54, 55 senators, then you're looking at a potential filibuster proof majority in 2024. Yeah. So I do think there are reasons for this, yes. So despite you just saying you're not a partisan, you're saying the only,
Starting point is 01:11:40 just to be clear, the only times you're comfortable with a Democrat taking a seat is if there's 60 Republicans. No, no, no. I'm comfortable with a Democrat. Like if, if Joe Lieberman decided to run, I'd be like, you know, okay, he's pretty good. Uh, Is he? Joe Lieberman. He voted for Obamacare just because he, like, criticized the Democrat. You're happy with Joe Lieberman? Now, that's the, that's the older Joe Lieberman.
Starting point is 01:12:04 He was good on some things, right? I mean, I was good on some things. I at least agreed with him at times, and he did have his own mind. I'm going to say why Federman is good on some things. Okay. And you're not going to disagree with me. All right. The only time there's an effective anti-war coalition in Congress is when you have a Republican
Starting point is 01:12:24 president and that's when the Democrats become anti-war. In every other circumstance, both parties are tripping over themselves to support imperialism and the war state. And that's one thing Federman would be good for. I don't think I think I think we have the Democrats in office now. They're throwing how many billions of dollars a day? Like I said, if you had a Republican president, that's the only time there's an anti-war coalition in Congress with the, yes, I know. Republican presidents have led many, many wars. Right. And the only time they have opposition is with the left wing of the Democrats. But having opposition, but the war still happens isn't a positive.
Starting point is 01:12:59 No, I know. But what he's saying, no, no, no, but what he's saying is if we had, and I don't think the same would be true with Donald Trump. And I think this is changing. I think there, a lot of conservatives are actually changing. I agree with you. Where they're like, what, what is, can we learn our lesson here? This doesn't work.
Starting point is 01:13:18 Get out of these. You're not learning your lesson because you keep voting in rhinos. and Oz is the king of that. He had his show for 10 years. He had never stood up for conservative principals on his show once. He's Oprah Winfrey's puppet, and Oprah Winfrey single-handedly got Barack Obama the nomination. It would be nice. I'm surprised Oprah Winfrey has not come out and helped Dr. Oz at all. It wouldn't help. Well, she support. It would help in Pennsylvania. Otherwise, she wouldn't be black. What's that? She has to support Biden or else she wouldn't be black. That's true. Ah, you're right. You're right. I always forget that you're not really black.
Starting point is 01:13:52 Black Clause. It's in the Constitution if I'm... So Michael, let me ask you this. What were your thoughts when you watched him? Because it wasn't funny at all. It was really sad, but it made me also angry to watch the debate. It was extremely funny because he opened up the debate by saying, hello, good night. and this shaved Chewbacca that they put his wife blocked me because she's like oh john fetterman said i don't
Starting point is 01:14:28 remember the statute of liberty i said he doesn't remember remember anything you sadistic which it is despicable it is despicable that his family and his team put a broomstick up his bum and put him in front of that mic when any other candidate could have served that purpose because they're not really voting for fetterman you're voting for a democratic vote right like it yeah you're really the staff will run the Senate office. So even if he can't even talk, it doesn't really matter. We saw that with Storm Thurman Thor at the end when he was literally 100 years old. Yeah, you're seeing that with what's your name you're just talking about in California.
Starting point is 01:15:01 Yeah, you're seeing the same thing. That is the biggest, you know, threat to democracy. They keep saying, there's a threat to democracy. They don't actually care about deliberation. They only want people in there. They'll take them brain damaged, you know, all. on a stretcher almost dead. They, Stu just said he will support the Republican in any circumstance until they're 60s.
Starting point is 01:15:25 That is not what I said at all. What I said was I'm not a partisan, which, by the way, true, I'm not a registered Republican or Democrat. I voted third party all the time. My point is only in this election what I'm rooting for, not necessarily what I'm voting for. What I'm rooting for is freaking the end of democratic control of the Senate. This should not be a controversial view. point on this particular program. It's not, hang on just a second.
Starting point is 01:15:51 I am with him on this because we are at the end of the Republic. And I know that makes some people happy. It doesn't make me happy. I'd like to, before we burn it down, I'd like to see, can we get it on the track enough and find, you know, find an Elon Musk that will come in and go, yeah, we're firing all you people. I am just shocked that we got Stu to admit on air that he's a member of Andrew Yang's forward party. This is where you're an anarchist, but here we are. This is where you're an anarchist. You come up and you stir it all up and then you leave. This is why John Fetterman's
Starting point is 01:16:35 wise wife blocked you. By the way, real quick, what do you think the changes are going to mean? anything substantial with Twitter? Yes, I think that for a long time corporate journalists and academic professors who I, you know, refer to as members of the enemy class, they were taking loss after loss after loss on Twitter because for the first time they had accountability, they're not in their offices where they kind of protected against criticism. And now without having that shield in front of them, they're really going to have a come to Jesus moment with their depravity and malfeasance. And it's going to be absolutely glorious to watch them throw tantrum. of the next couple years. So does, on Monday, he said the change, some changes are going into effect,
Starting point is 01:17:19 the first changes. Babylon B, Donald Trump, who's back? I hope Trump, I hope Trump waits until after the midterms, because this is just going to give the Democrats an issue and distraction from inflation and abortion and all this unspending. So we can worry about Trump on November 9th. I really hope he has that presence of mind to keep his mouth shut just for another two weeks. Michael Malice, thank you so much. Appreciate it. Michael. It's a pleasure, guys. host of he's such a jerk he is such a jerk
Starting point is 01:17:49 he just loves to stir it up he's going to be on the coverage and I'm like oh it's going to be fun yeah I'm like we're not going to get any real work done because he's just going to play contrarian just to get us all going but anyway we're going to have a
Starting point is 01:18:05 lot of fun all of the blaze hosts the biggest blaze hosts are going to be there with our coverage you don't want to miss it on election night. We have Megan Kelly, we, Dave Rubin,
Starting point is 01:18:19 Jason Whitlock, Stu, Pat. Sarah Gonzalez is going to be there? Sarah Gonzalez. Also, Primetime 99, Alex Stein, who is,
Starting point is 01:18:28 between him and malice, if I lose control of the night, it will be these two to blame because they, you never know what they're going to say. Also, just a quick reminder, the follow. Wednesday, a week later, I'm doing a special show on

All the wrapping paper, all the tinfoil, don't throw that away. It's tinfoil. It has cheese on it. We can get that cheese off, right? Okay. Grew up in the Great Depression.
Starting point is 01:19:37 That's the way it was. But they used to clip coupons all the time. You don't have to do that. It's much, much easier now. You want to really save money. upside. It's an app and it's absolutely free. Then you just find an offer whatever you're buying on Upside. Check in at the business when you go in. And when you pay, you get paid. It's easy and it counts. It adds up in the wallet. So do it now.

Get the free Upside app. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. You know, just talking to Michael Malice, stop with the clever voting.
Starting point is 01:21:07 Stop. It doesn't ever work out for us. It doesn't ever work out for us. But 19 elections from now, maybe things will turn out better. No, no, no, great. John Roberts, I'm waiting for John Roberts. He wrote something and he changed that vote. I remember that right after the Obamcare vote.
Starting point is 01:21:22 Because he's going to, what he's going to do. Shut up. Right. You don't. I don't care who you want to vote for. I don't care who you vote for. You do what you want to do. You do the next right thing.
Starting point is 01:21:33 Yeah, just do, just, that's it. What you believe is right. People get so like, what if we elect this person who will then lose to that person, who will then be thrown out of office, and then my cousin, Jimmy, will get the seat. It's like, all right, I'm sure in your world that is going to happen perfectly just like you think it is. But in reality, like, you shouldn't try to predict what is going to occur with every single thing in the future. No. Just do the thing you believe.
Starting point is 01:22:01 is actually right. You know, that's it. Voting your conscience has had a bad name over the day, over the years, for whatever reason. But like, it's still the right thing to do. Just do the next right thing. Let the consequences fall where they may. Do the next right thing. Vote for the best person to be in office that can execute the job.
Starting point is 01:22:29 The Glenn Back program. Let me tell you about American financing, and then we'll get into the program, the last hour of the week. American financing wants to talk to you about your finances. The people that call American financing generally on average save $695 every single month. I mean, some people are saving a little less, some people are saving a little more. What can they do for you? That's an awful lot of money that would help your family stay solid on their feet. every month. American financing. Give them 10 minutes. Just tell them what your situation is,
Starting point is 01:23:07 your credit card situation, your housing situation, et cetera, et cetera. They'll look and see if there's a way to be able to combine these things, consolidate, or, you know, just work on a different mortgage plan, or even just help you get your credit score up. It's American financing. They're there to help you. 800, 906, 2440, 800, 906, 2440, Go to Americanfinancing.net. All right. Now you guys can talk. Well, not now.
Starting point is 01:23:37 In a minute, you guys can talk. So like right now? No. Hey, welcome to the Glebeck program. It is Friday. I just want to give you some serious news here before we get into Alex Stein, who's in studio with us.
Starting point is 01:24:45 But Nancy Pelosi's husband was attacked in their home last night. Blood force trauma. He's in the hospital. They say he's going to survive. but somebody came in and almost beat him to death with a hammer. God bless them. Where was the security? Shouldn't they have security?
Starting point is 01:25:07 The answer to that is clearly yes. We don't have any details, but this is bad. And all of our politicians, our judges, I don't care what side you're on. If you're serving, you deserve some protection because the world has gone insane. We pray for the Pelosi family today. All right.
Starting point is 01:25:31 Alex Stein joins us in 60 seconds. A few things that I love better than a good night's sleep. Let me think of a one. That's it. I love a good night's sleep, and it is hard to get a good night's sleep. Okay, two. Two.
Starting point is 01:25:52 Here's the thing. You can get a great night's, night sleep with MyPillow products. MyPillow, the Giza Dream Sheets are the best, and they're back at their lowest price ever. The sheets are 60% off, and that means they're as low as $39.99 with a promo code Beck. I just thought of a really good banana split, so that's three. Anyway, guarantee, guarantee that you're not going to need. They have a 60-day money-back guarantee. Just try these. They're fantastic. Mypillow.com. Click on the radio listener
Starting point is 01:26:25 special square. Check out the flash sale on the Giza Dream Sheets along with other limited time offers. The promo code is Beck. Call 800-966-3117. 800-966-3117. Mypillow.com. All right. Alex Stein is here. I never know
Starting point is 01:26:45 what's going to happen with Alex Stein. It's already been a rough day. Would you say? It's been an adventure. The roller coaster ride of a show so far. Already. Well, today's Unorthodox, too. It's an honor and a privilege, but then you got a gala going on here. So the place is, you know, wild.
Starting point is 01:27:00 You got 10 different people running in and out with chairs, Superman outfits. I mean, it's nuts at Blaze right now. We told them that they had to wear the Superman outfit to be able to bring the chairs in. That makes sense. Yeah. It makes the chairs look really heavy. So Alex is the host of Conspiracy Castle. He is a Blaze TV control.
Starting point is 01:27:21 Tributor, Prime Time, 99, Alex Stein. I just did something with you on television last week, and I played some of the clips of you where you go in and you'll go into city council meetings. And you, I don't know how you pull this off with a straight face for as long as you do. Because they're absurd. What you're saying is absurd. And everybody just acts like it's not. Well, I mean, we live in an absurd world.
Starting point is 01:27:48 So people are having trouble deciphering what is real and what is fake. And, you know, my comedic hero is Andy Kaufman. So really, I'm just kind of a hack. I'm just, you know, basically mixing absurdity and reality. And in the culture we live in today, you can't tell what is what. You can't. You can't. So you were just up at a campus.
Starting point is 01:28:06 You were going to give a talk with what's his name? Gavin McKinness. Yeah, Gavin McKinness. And they actually spat on you. Literally, Glenn. and it was a pretty this this girl she'd been practicing that was uh that was not a first time spitter can we play the video here i just want to say you guys are poor representation of the user nation who you can't let's get this boy i'm just i'm gonna i am insane yes
Starting point is 01:28:43 my name is big booty last in the ass here why is there any big booty like that's on you This is so dangerous. This is the future of our country. I know. These are the brightest bulbs. Let me go. Oh, my gosh. That was, she had a lot of spit.
Starting point is 01:29:16 Yeah. So she's, she has to get you an audio person. Yeah, that's that stepped over. Yeah, the audio. Well, no, no, it was crazy like that. It was just the mic was a little too close to my mouth. Yeah. Yes, we did realize it.
Starting point is 01:29:26 Yes. We know what caused it. The question is, this is, why don't you? All right, you guys can troll me. I'm the troll. No trolling me.
Starting point is 01:29:33 But then Mike was not perfect. I was in a war zone. If I'm in Kabul, Afghanistan, I'm sorry if the audio is not perfect, Stu. I apologize. Okay. So you were at Penn State,
Starting point is 01:29:44 and they wanted you not to be at Penn State. They don't understand freedom of speech at all. Are you, Are you going to do anything about it? I mean, not the spitter. I mean, the spitter is just... No, she's a young kid. I mean, I'm not going to go after her.
Starting point is 01:30:01 That would be punching down. But no, I am going to file a civil rights lawsuit against Penn State University because they said they had a lot of kickback Glenn before the event saying, oh, it should be shut down. It should be shut down. And the university administrator said, oh, well, we're going to go on with it. We believe in free speech. We're state universities.
Starting point is 01:30:17 They're publicly funded. They have federal money. So they're held to a different standard than these private colleges. Once they shut it down, you know, that made them liable to a law. But this is the problem. When you're in that group, Glenn, you're a fascist. I said, we'll define a fascist for me. And I think Benito Mussolini defined fascism as the merger of corporation and state. I'm anti-establishing. I don't want corporation and state together at all. But these kids do. So it's all projection. It's Sol Olinsky's rules for radicals where you
Starting point is 01:30:45 accuse the enemy of doing what you're actually doing. And this is a clear-cut example of these kids being confused and not even knowing. It's like the dog that chases the car. Once it catches up to the bumper or doesn't know what to do with it? So, so this is the future. And we used to say, yeah, well, wait until they get into the real world. That's over. They are in the real world now. And we're the ones having to change. I saw a poll recently about freedom of speech. And everybody says they're for freedom of speech. But there's a good now, I believe, majority of people under 40 that are saying, yeah, but I mean, some free speech should put you in jail. Yeah, which is ridiculous.
Starting point is 01:31:26 And if you look at on Twitter right now, now with Elon Musk taking it over and giving us the impression that we're going to have free speech, people are going nuts. They're so excited. But then the people on the left glen are melting down. And that's where I'm like, why are these people, these blue check marks, afraid of letting human beings say however they feel? And that's the problem is they don't want you to be able to say how you actually feel. Well, so today is going to be interested in the next few weeks really on Twitter,
Starting point is 01:31:50 because I just have this great urge just to go, Ivermectad is the best. Oh, yeah. And, you know, people will push the boundaries of free speech, which, you know, there has to be responsibility. With every right, there's responsibility. Let's not do that. That's not necessarily good for society. Well, my favorite is a guy, or excuse me, woman, Rachel Levine.
Starting point is 01:32:13 And Rachel Levine, who was born Dick Levine. And if you say Rachel Levine is a man on Twitter, you can get kicked off Twitter. As a matter of fact, the Babylon B, that's why their account got suspended. For just saying basically a fact, I mean, Rachel Levine, although she's one of the most beautiful administrators we've ever had, she's a man. That's a dude, baby, as Austin Power said. I don't know if that's how he said it. It's a man, man, man.
Starting point is 01:32:34 That's it. You're sharper than me, Glenn, but I'm just saying it's just you can't even point out the elephant in the room. So when you say the Ivermectin, you say the sudden adult death syndrome, you say any of that type of stuff on Twitter, you're subject to removal. Although that ends today in theory. Yeah, well, Elon Musk. said, Elon Musk said, the bird is free.
Starting point is 01:32:52 11 o'clock he tweeted last night, the bird has been freed. Well, you know, and I take it back to the midterms too. It's like, you know, now that they give us the impression that we have free speech, oftentimes I think they can even censor us more. It's like we see potentially we're going to have a red wave in the coming up election. But because of all the legislation that the Biden administration, and Biden administration has put in for the past two years, we can't even get in office and change everything.
Starting point is 01:33:15 So that will all lay on the lapse of conservative. So when the economy crashes and everything goes to, crap, they're going to say, well, you guys had all the control. You guys did it all. You know, then this is all the Republican conservative problem. I said this a couple of weeks ago. You watch, they've been denying that we're in a recession. They've been denying that there's any kind of problems. Jobs are fine. We've all been saying, no, they're not. This is going to get worse from here. Now Biden is already setting up. I'm telling you, if you give the Congress and the Senate to the Republicans, it's going to get worse. Yeah. And you look at her.
Starting point is 01:33:49 economy, I mean, the idea that anybody can buy a single family home, people can't. I mean, people can't afford their groceries, people can't afford, you know, to fill up the gas tank. So, you know, people are struggling right now and they're asking for help. But all they can do is give an 80, 80 more billion dollars to Ukraine. I mean, it's just absurd that these people, they don't want to help us. I think everything they're doing is a controlled demolition of the American system, especially the idea that why are they taking us off energy independence? The oil and gas industry can lift up this entire world. We could, we could basically supply it. Just here in Texas. Why are we not doing that? Why are we not taking that? Why are we not
Starting point is 01:34:19 taking advantage of the things that would make our country, which was the most powerful country in the world, I don't know if that's the case any longer. How old are you? 35. 35 years old. I was just sobering up when I was 35. Well, you know, do you say that, Glenn, that changed my life. I quit drinking when I was 31, and that was the biggest change in my life.
Starting point is 01:34:38 That was, and everybody out there, I'm not trying to be, you know, negative Nancy. I know everybody wants to have their fun, but alcohol and drugs is a lifestyle that will only make you more depressed. it will only ruin your life. Destroy it. Just destroy it. And once you can take a step back, because you can't see it. You know, you can't see the force for the big tree in front of your face. If you're out there and you're struggling, take a break.
Starting point is 01:34:59 Take a month off. Take a couple weeks off. But, you know, in society with the fentanyl and the drug crisis, everybody has a problem. They want to medicate. So I think, sadly, the drug problem is only going to get worse. I was reading Ryan Holiday's new book, which is about discipline. And one of the things he talks because he doesn't drink at all. And he talks about how the best way to make a decision as to whether you should continue
Starting point is 01:35:18 a habit that's questionable to you, is to think about it is if it came out today and you knew everything about it, would you still make the decision? Like, if alcohol was released in stores tomorrow for the first time, with all the information that we already know about it, would you start drinking tomorrow? Yes. Yeah. Margaritas are fun, too. Everybody wants to have a margarita, peanut, yeah, but I think that's a really wise way of looking at that because, you know, most of these things, they become, like, drinking is cultural, right? Like, I, you know, I drink, certainly a little bit more than you guys at this point, but not a lot, you know, I'm not, but a social drinker. I'll have a drink or two if we go out to dinner or whatever. And often you go out and it just feels like, all right,
Starting point is 01:35:57 everyone else is ordering a drink, I should order a drink. And it, that's just dumb cultural pressure. Penn Gillette said the same thing. You know, he just came to that point where he was like, you know what, I don't care anymore. I'm not, I'm not going to be embarrassed about not ordering a drink. Oh, I, I think you, you guys are on the other side of this where maybe, you know, you know, you've had a, Glenn certainly, I don't know, Alex as well, but like, you had a real problem with this. It was ruining your life. It was destroying your life. In fact, I mean, look at what it made you today. So you had that and you came on the other side and you said, hey, all right, like, now I can look at this and see how absurd these things were. Because you went through that
Starting point is 01:36:32 pain, most people don't go through that pain. And I never had any, never had any negative consequences from drinking other than a couple of bad headaches and a vomit or two. So, like, you get, But you realize it's just a dumb decision overall. It doesn't improve your life. It doesn't give you any long-term prospects of growth, per se. It's just something we do because it's culturally there. If I would have bought stock in Jack Daniels or Maker's Mark, I would have made a lot of money. Buy stocking it all you want.
Starting point is 01:37:02 I'm convinced. I'm convinced. Just me alone drove that company. To your point, Stu, and I always say this, you know, and I stole this from Charles Barkley in the 80s, I'm not a role model, so I don't want to give anybody necessarily advice. But the first piece of advice I will give everybody, as I say that, do not worry about the opinions of others. That's what we try to do.
Starting point is 01:37:22 Nobody cares. Even your person that's probably, you know, they say, you know, what is your biggest fan is a stranger and your biggest, you know, enemy is probably somebody real close to you. So worrying about the opinions of strangers, just be yourself. You know, I saw an interview with Larry King right before he passed away and they said, what is some advice for future broadcasters? And he said, kid, just be yourself. And I think that, you know, you could extrapolate that for everybody.
Starting point is 01:37:42 Just be yourself. That doesn't mean be a jerk or, you know, be an a-hole. But just be yourself and be unapologetically yourself. And I will tell you that, especially with drinking, I don't know if you were like this, but you didn't really have a problem with it. Not necessarily drinking. When I stopped drinking, misery loves company. Nobody likes your good friends. I lost most of them, and I ended up with stew.
Starting point is 01:38:08 This is not a commercial. Most of your friends, they like you the way you are. And when you say, hey, I'm cleaning up, but you do whatever you want, it doesn't bother me. I'm just making this choice for me. A lot of my friends, they weren't for it. It's a scarlet letter for whatever reason, because you're not on the same level. You're not the one getting intoxicated. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:32 It's weird. Yeah, it's really, really strange. So where are you going from here? What's the next? Well, I'm headed to Florida, but I got another speaking engagement in the spring at University of Tennessee under the same group Uncensoreded America. So we'll see, I'm sure the college kids will be out in full force with their pitchforks. But at the same time, Glenn, you know, people say, oh, it's so scary. It's really not that scary.
Starting point is 01:38:55 Getting, you know, people yelling at you, I love it. You know, I love confrontation. So for me, it's like, if I can do this every weekend, Glenn, I'm ready to get on the plane. Let's go. Oh, front time 99. Let's yell and scream in my face. Only because, you know, you look at all those kids. You see every single one of them.
Starting point is 01:39:11 You're like, oh, those kids are insane. Well, the only person more insane than those kids was me, Primetime 99, Alexine. So I'm even crazy than they are going on. Okay. Hang on just a second. I want to talk to you about the election coming up in just a second. One minute. Let me tell you about life lock. We are who we are individually, rapidly absorbed into the folds of the collective.
Starting point is 01:39:33 It is important that you hold on to your identity. everything that that means. Cybercrime is out there and they not only want what you have, but also who you are. The safest best bet when it comes to protecting your identity is having life lock there to help. They have both preventative measures to keep you safe and access to a restoration team if you end up having your information hacked into, which you have a good chance of it will happen to you if you don't have any protection. Chances are it's still going to happen to you less frequently if you do have protection, but that's why they have the restoration team, because it's everywhere and constantly changing.
Starting point is 01:40:15 Please take this seriously. Save up to 25% off your first year with the promo code Beck, call 1-800 LifeLock. 1-800 LifeLock or LifeLock.com. Use the promo code Beck. 10 seconds. Station ID. So did you watch the Federman debate? Oh, yeah. I mean, it was embarrassing.
Starting point is 01:40:41 The only person liked the debate more than any conservative is Dr. Oz. I mean, he was, he's a real champion. He was, I think that, I think that took great restraint from Oz because Federman was a jerk from the get-go. He's not only, he's not only having hard time processing things. He, the one thing, he's a lot like my grandfather, my, my dad's father, who was a jerk in real life. And then when he had a stroke, he was just mean. And I kind of got that from Federman, too. I think he's kind of a mean guy.
Starting point is 01:41:14 Oh, for sure. And his wife, Jersey, Giselle, she's not very likable either. But, you know, what I've noticed on Twitter now with all the blue check marks, they're saying, if you tease Federman, they're saying, oh, you cannot make fun of you're an ablest. You're an ablest. You're an ablest for making fun of them. And now we need more stroke victims, you know, in politics. It's just, you know, there's a big elephant in the room. And if we point to the elephant, you're racist or you're bigoted.
Starting point is 01:41:34 What does he tell you about the Democrats that they already have Feinstein? they have Nancy Pelosi who is you know arguably not there you have you have Joe Biden and now Federman I mean they say they believe in the individual in democracy I don't think so
Starting point is 01:41:56 I think they would line up a whole bunch of zombies if they would just vote the way everybody told them to vote well that's obvious did you see the runway footage of Chuck Schumer talking to Joe Biden and he said you could you know hear him wording that the debate didn't hurt us that much these people do not care about these actually candidates. I mean, if they would, they would put the best candidate forward, but the fact that John Federman is, you know, one of the most important Senate seats in Pennsylvania, and he is their
Starting point is 01:42:20 best choice. That's just kind of a shocking, sad realization that Lurch is going to be running the country. I mean, come on. I really think he looks, he looks like Frankenstein from young Frankenstein. I really, if Gene Wilder was around, maybe somebody can do this just, you know, with Photoshop, but I'd like to see Federman. dressed in the tuxedo on stage doing putting on the ritz from the movie Young Frankenstein, don't you remember?
Starting point is 01:42:49 Putting on the Ritz! You don't remember? Somebody look it up. It is John Fetterman. And, Glenn, one of the movies that were shot here was Adam's Family Values, which is a great movie, and he looks like a character
Starting point is 01:43:01 out of Adam's Family Values. I mean, he literally looks like something. He's definitely got an alert situation going out. Yeah, I mean, the guy, his tie wasn't... I mean, how do you... you even consider a guy who lived until what? He was 40 or 50 in his parents' basement. Well, and I brought up to this was too. How did he even become the lieutenant governor? How did that even... I don't know. How did he become mayor? In the town that he was mayor, they lost
Starting point is 01:43:25 40% of their population. Their population went down to 1,700 people. So, I mean, the guy is, and it's similar to beta or work. I mean, these people, they can lose elections and somehow they fail upwards. It's insane. I love him. He's always talking about gun violence and all the things he did. Dr. Oz never did anything to stop gun violence. You were a mayor of a city of 1700 people. How much guy, I've lived in a small town growing up. It was like 10 times that size. Like, well, how, there's no gun violence there? What, what, how much gun violence was there in this town? Well, I know that there was a black man running through his neighborhood. He didn't have a gun, but Fetterman did. Held him at gunpoint. He stopped doing that. That's true. He did stop that one time.
Starting point is 01:44:08 Well, and speaking of gun violence, I think if Paul Pelosi might have had a gun, his situation would have been a little better in San Francisco. Either him or somebody around him. I mean, like, that is a terrifying situation. We don't know anything about who did it. We all know what's happening on Twitter where every Republican that has ever been born is already being blamed for it. So congratulations everyone. I apologize. Yeah, but like in reality, like, how is there not more protection on Nancy Pelosi's home?
Starting point is 01:44:31 That's absolutely inexcusable. Of course there should be. It only takes one idiot. Right? It only takes one person. Even if she was not famous, she's very, very wealthy. You should have some security there to protect yourself. These are the same people that said January 6 is worse than 9-11.
Starting point is 01:44:46 So, I mean, come on, if you're going to protect yourself from... If they believe that, she would be sure. If they believe that, then she would be protected as if her house is Fort Knox. Alex Stein, thank you. Always a pleasure. It's an honor and a pleasure. It's good to have you here. And you'll be joining us on election night.
Starting point is 01:45:03 Yes, sir. I'll be there, and we got some bits, some wild stuff coming. So make sure to tune in, guys, because we're going to be going insane for the Ukraine. It'll be great. The Glenn Back. Juan wrote in about his dog's experience with Rough Greens. He said, Jojo is getting older. And he's been starting to slow down quite a bit lately.
Starting point is 01:45:24 But ever since we started using Rough Greens, things are different. I see him bark. I see him run. He's now chasing cat jumping up on the bed. Whereas before, he would just lay there. I will tell you that Uno started when he was nine, nine maybe started taking. rough greens and I thought he was normal. I thought that's just the way he was. He started using, we started giving him rough greens on his food every night and he completely, he was like a puppy
Starting point is 01:45:52 again. He really was. He was running and doing all the things that you think of with a healthy, happy dog. I think Rough Greens has given him an extra couple, maybe three years to his life. I don't have anything to prove that, but it's just the way we feel because he's a different dog. Get your first trial bag for free right now. Just go to roughgreens.com slash Beck. Put it on your dog's food and just watch the changes. Roughgreens.com slash Beck or call 833 GLENN-N-33. That's 833, G-33-Grens.
Starting point is 01:46:26 Rough Greens.com slash Beck. The best election coverage available, blazedtiv. Glenn. Alex Stein will be there. It's going to be a lot of fun. Use the promo code Glenn. Let me give you a couple of things. First, an update on the missing ABC News employee who disappeared.
Starting point is 01:46:57 Rolling Stone magazine wrote an article about this guy's disappearance. They don't know where he is. He was picked up by the FBI in April. And nobody saw him after that. here's the latest. According to Rolling Stone or first report of the FBI's raid and Meek's mysterious disappearance immediately thereafter, Meek was allegedly suspected of possessing classified documents in his personal computer, which by the way,
Starting point is 01:47:30 you cannot arrest a journalist and you can't take their computer on that, at least without letting the Attorney General or assistant Attorney General know about it. But now, according to a more recent report published by the Daily Beast, which has even far less credibility than Rolling Stone. It's the battle of the absolute bottom of the barrel of journalism here between Rolling Stone and Daily Beast. Meek's disappearance, his abrupt resignation from ABC News and the FBI's raid on his apartment are not connected. Sources who spoke to the Daily Beast, we don't know who they are, revealed that Meek is not only safe and living with his mother, but he also resigned as the network's investigative producer to avoid embarrassment.
Starting point is 01:48:12 Meek reportedly told friends at ABC that he left for personal reasons and in an effort to save colleagues in the company any embarrassment. How come any of the colleagues, why are the colleagues saying that they have no comment on this? They don't know. Why are his friends saying what happened to him? We haven't seen him. And like, because the only other theory we came up with at the time was like, okay, maybe he's going through some real, you know, personal heart. Like, you know, he's, I don't know, has a drug problem or has, just throwing out. whatever, one of those types of things, that wouldn't embarrass ABC News.
Starting point is 01:48:46 No. There would be no reason for that to hide embarrassment of ABC News. That has nothing to do with it. The only thing, I mean, what would embarrass ABC News? A scandal with their reporting. Yeah, he's making stuff up. Right, something like that. And if that's true, this makes the story even worse because that ABC News is hiding the scandal.
Starting point is 01:49:04 Correct. They're hiding the scandal. And the FBI picked this guy up as he's writing a book about how disaster. things were in Afghanistan. Right. The FBI still has not responded. We can't get any family members to respond. We're getting a dog that just never lets go of a bone next week.
Starting point is 01:49:28 I'm asking him now. Hopefully he'll be on next week. But I know somebody who will not rest until this is figured out. By the way, Twitter taken over by Elon Musk. the sink thing I don't even know what that was Elon it was very strange The really bad
Starting point is 01:49:50 Dad joke joke Yeah like a bad dad pun Him coming to work and let that sink in And then he walks in the door with a sink Whoa that is Because I thought this guy was like this rock star rebel And then I saw that and I was like maybe he just He's got a doubles pickleball match
Starting point is 01:50:07 Around the corner and It was very strange It was very strange because it's not him. No. This is a guy who gets flamethrowers and puts rockets in space and goes zero to 60
Starting point is 01:50:19 1.49 seconds. He's the real life Tony Stark. Yeah. It was just so bad. Yeah. Who would advise? Again.
Starting point is 01:50:27 Yeah, he's a quirky character so maybe he just loves his puns? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Weird. Here's Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden on the tarmac
Starting point is 01:50:37 outside Air Force 1. Is Schumer telling him that the Pennsylvania debate didn't hurt them too much. They're picking up steam in Nevada, and that should, that it would be hard to believe that Georgians would go for Herschel Walker. Listen. It looks like the debate didn't hurt up in Pennsylvania.
Starting point is 01:50:56 So that's good. And debate didn't hurt us that much. Well, that's good news. Is it? You know, I can't, you can barely understand him here. But it's hard to believe. that Georgians would go for Herschel Walker. Why?
Starting point is 01:51:15 Why is that hard to believe if you just put a guy who cannot speak or think on the stage and it didn't affect things? Why do you think it's hard to believe that Georgians would go for Herschel Walker? Yeah, a state that's been read mostly all of this time. And also they're running a statewide hero. Herschel Walker is one of the most beloved figures until this race, everybody in Georgia loved him. Now, only half of the people love him. But, you know, look, he is, there's a reason why he got that seat and why the Republicans were so excited to run him. He has a
Starting point is 01:51:51 great reputation, you know, in the state and also is much more closely aligned with traditionally what the state likes to do. Family values, you know, lower taxes. There's a red state profile that has only recently changed. So it's not at all surprising that they would vote for Hershal Walker. Here's another ecoterrorist that have targeted a girl with a pearl. It's a famous painting in The Hague in a museum. Roll this, please. Don't worry. I think there's only about eight.
Starting point is 01:52:26 Hey. What are you doing? What is stupid going to do? Oh. How do you feel? No. You're stupid. how do you feel like you see something beautiful
Starting point is 01:52:44 and price was being apparently destroyed before I feel you're stupid should be arrested This is this got to stop This is just these people This has been some really good think pieces on this People saying like how can we destroy art Am I the only one who just says
Starting point is 01:53:05 You know I just don't care about art that much I gotta be honest with you I don't care when you're making these statements like they shouldn't do it but like honestly like you know what I'd be much more if you if you burn down my local target I'd be more upset if they if they weren't targeting the ones with glass on them no it's not even real it's not even real how do you feel when it's supposedly being destroyed the same way I feel that the environment and the earth is supposedly being destroyed okay it's a knot here's a Biden he went up to Syracuse yesterday and he's
Starting point is 01:53:40 He wanted to make sure everybody knew the economy was roaring. By the way, I know what you're thinking. He was in Syracuse. The answer is, Dream Sickle. His favorite ice cream, that's what he was having. Oh, good. Okay, so here he is on food prices. And by the way, the food prices, the main driver of fruit prices is not the price of beef and eggs, et cetera, or they're up.
Starting point is 01:54:04 It's packaged goods. Packaged goods. You're going to see people not buying Kellogg's. of raisin brand which you're going to see them buy another raisin brand which is be a dollar cheaper I mean so what's happening is there is real movement if you eat too much brand there is real movement there is yeah uh that doesn't make any sense at all I mean no it does that but Fetterman had a comment on this I don't know if you heard the Fetterman uh comment I did not hear it no yeah here is have you ever had a dreams
Starting point is 01:54:36 that you have you would you could you do you what you want you you can do so you you do you can you you want you want him to do you so much you could do anything. So I mean I think once
Starting point is 01:54:54 once Fetterman weighs in on things it becomes very very clear. It does become clear. That's a very strict. So he his point is I want to make sure I understand fully. Yeah. Okay. So beef, eggs, they're up, but they're not up as much as packaged goods. And the solution to that is to buy packaged goods from other brands that are a dollar cheaper?
Starting point is 01:55:16 Yes, yes. The packaged goods, because those are up, but not the name brand. So, you know, buy something else that's not made by, you know, one of these corporations. Federman's point made more sense. It did. It did. The podcast this weekend, there are two of them. Uh, yeah, yeah. That's, I mean, I am working my fingers to the bone. And then I come home and do you care? No, you don't care. You didn't, you didn't watch the podcast. Anyway, uh, did two podcasts. One with Carrie Lake is a must watch. Uh, that came out. Uh, why are you looking at me like that? I'm not. I'm just listening to you. You talk about your interviews. I'm excited to hear them because actually both of them are really interesting figures. And the other one is, uh,
Starting point is 01:56:05 Voddy Bacom, he is a guy that I discovered, you know, not that I discovered. It's not like he was in cave someplace. And I'm like, I just discovered Vody Baccham here. He is a, he's a fascinating, fascinating guy who is a preacher kind of run out on the rails here in America because he was speaking the truth about social justice and everything else. He got an offer to run a university in Africa. So he's over there in Africa. He is truly a deep thinking guy.
Starting point is 01:56:48 In fact, he was nominated to be president of the Southern Baptist Convention. He talks about that a little bit and how interesting that was because there's a battle in all of our faiths, all of our faiths. and they're going woke or they're going to stand. Which is it? He will help you navigate those waters. Here he is in from the podcast talking a little bit about dealing with a hostile government. Listen. And they become abusive, really abusive to things that I hold sacred.
Starting point is 01:57:24 Not that I like, not that, but sacred. How do you, how do you square that circle? with, you know, obeying your governments. Yeah. Here's what's interesting. We're not necessarily called to obey our government in everything. Nobody can command what God forbids, and nobody can forbid what God commands, okay? COVID regulations, notwithstanding, that was inappropriate.
Starting point is 01:57:58 The government does not have the right to tell the church that she can't meet, for example. And I think we have, for example, in Acts chapter four, we have an example of this when, you know, Peter and John are told not to, you know, preach or teach anymore in the name of Jesus. And their response is, right, whether it is right to obey you rather than God, you be the judge, but we cannot stop speaking about what we heard
Starting point is 01:58:26 when the Apostle Paul is in jail in Philippi. He's been jailed there and eventually they found out that he's a Roman citizen and, you know, okay, you go. No, I'm not going. You bring the magistrate here. Right? He jailed me illegitimately. Right. So as Christians, our position is not that the state just, you know, has the right to do whatever the state wants to do. As Christians, on the one hand, no one has the right to command what God forbids or forbid what God commands, right? And out of deference to the state, we're willing to accept whatever punishment we have to accept when we say no, right? But on the other hand, as citizens, we have rights. And here's the other thing, as Americans. We're in a very unique position. And again, all of Christ for all of life, right?
Starting point is 01:59:29 most Americans look at like Romans 13 you know I think that you're alluding to and they say well you know according to Romans 13 you know we have to submit to them guess what as an American do you know what my governing authority is it's not an individual it's God God is ultimately my governing authority but as an American citizen my governing authority is the Constitution yes correct That's my governing authority. And everybody is held to that governing authority. So one of the problems that we have is we don't know what it says. So when this person says something that's completely out of line with that, well, we go, oh, I guess I'm supposed to do it. No.
Starting point is 02:00:24 What you might ought to do is confront that based on the fact that they, that they are not obeying what we're all, you know, agreed to obey, which is our Constitution. We have more on this. This is a fascinating conversation with Vodibokham, and you can get it now at the blaze, or you can listen to it on my podcast. I think it's episode 191. Vodibokman, it will be out everywhere tomorrow. First, the ground shakes.
Starting point is 02:00:57 It's only a little bit, so you don't feel too concerned. Then it shakes a little bit more. This time the water in your glass ripples a little bit. You think to yourself, I've seen this movie moments before the giant T-Rex comes stomping through the house, right? You wish you thought, maybe I should have prepared. Maybe I shouldn't have come here in the first place. Ground is shaking right now. We're past the little tremor.
Starting point is 02:01:27 We know it's coming. The most dangerous moment. in our nation's history lies beyond where we can all see it. And it's not a question of whether it's headed this way. The question is, are you ready for it? If the U.S. dollar begins to fall, do you have a hedge against the insanity that will follow right behind it? Please call Gold Line.

Starting point is 02:02:52 out prayers for Nancy Pelosi and her husband. It's horrifying. No matter who did this, meth head, left, right, crazy, not, I don't care. They need to be found and they need to be jailed. There is no room in our society for this kind of behavior.
Starting point is 02:03:10 None. None. And I don't care if it's an unknown old man in a subway or Nancy Pelosi's husband. Enough is enough. Enough is enough. All right, we'll be back. Pray on this one because the press is going to use this one or another.
