Starting point is 00:00:00 America needs more companies like American financing now maybe more than ever. And if you're smart, you're concerned about, well, what is the future hold? I mean, have you thought about that lately, Stee? No. I've not considered the future being a dark, dark place at all lately. Let me tell you about American financing. Please, please call them today and see what you can do or what they can do. to help you with your,
Starting point is 00:00:31 your mortgage, your high interest credit cards, any of your debt, just you might be surprised how much they can do to, uh, to help you. Call them, please, today. Hurry, 800, 906, 2440, or go to Americanfinancing. Dot net, 800904, 2440, or Americanfinancing.
Starting point is 00:00:56 dot net. All right, you sick, twisted freak. We begin with Mike Lee next. He's a lawyer. He knows the Constitution. I'd like to hear what he has to say about what happened yesterday. Hello, you sick, twisted freak. Welcome to the program. Today, I can't think of anything that's going on that we might want to talk about, that you might want to talk about. Uh, I'm, I might, spill some opinions here in the next couple of hours and talk to some really knowledgeable people about what was going on. But I'm saving the, what I believe, the only thing that I should be sharing with you really that doesn't really come from me, comes from a place where I like, oh, no, I don't want to say that. I'm going to share that opinion.
Starting point is 00:02:54 at the top of our three. So stand by. Mike Lee joins us in 60 seconds. Oh, man, every day you spend far more time than maybe even you realize doing things online. Were you online last night doing anything, looking at anything? There's nothing to read. Nothing to follow up on.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Yeah, nothing. I like something that gets my heart pumping a little bit. I made it to the end of the internet, and there's nothing left. There was nothing that did that last night. Anyway, right now, you might underestimate how cybercrime and identity theft will affect your life. Are you secure in your transactions? Probably not. Probably not.
Starting point is 00:03:49 May I suggest a little life lock from time to time? Nobody can stop all cyber threats, but boy, oh boy, they might be better than the FBI. I'll tell you that right now. Because they're working for you. Lifelock actually is working for you. They have restoration teams in case you do have a problem. They also have top of the line cybersecurity. So preventive measures as well as case something happens, they got you covered there.
Starting point is 00:04:17 25% off your first year of promo code Beck. promo code Beck at 1800 LifeLock, 1800 LifeLock or LifeLock.com. promo code Beck. Mr. Senator. Mike Lee. Senator, how are you? I'm doing great, Glenn, and even better now that I'm on the Glenn Beck program. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Oh, golly. Mike, I wrote to you last night I texted you and just said, what the hell is happening? So I like to start this interview with what the hell is happening, Mike? More questions than we have answers right now, but I do have questions. And some of those questions relate to why exactly is it that this happened? This is unprecedented. We've never seen this in our country, having the home of former president of the United States rated. Now, we have some reason to believe that they were going after indications that the former president had perhaps mishandled classified documents.
Starting point is 00:05:26 That doesn't make any sense. you know, if you think about it, he would have had such documents if he has classified documents. He would have them and obtained them as of the moment he was president of the United States. The president of the United States is in charge of declassifying,
Starting point is 00:05:44 declassifying, classified documents, which means he had discretion to decide what he could and couldn't have. It baffles me to consider how this means that he could have violated the law. Oh, so you mean, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. So that now makes sense. So that's why Hillary Clinton could have all the sensitive stuff on her email server and have
Starting point is 00:06:09 people just cut top secret off of the emails there at the skiff because she had discretion on what could be secret and not top secret. Right. And she was not present with the United States. Oh, she wasn't president. At the time this happened, she was only Secretary of State. And yet there was no raid of Hillary Clinton's home. No. No was Hillary ever charged. Okay, all right. Wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:06:36 I think, but I think I have the concept now. Okay. So it's like when Sandy Berger went into the National Archives and stuffed stuff about Clinton into his pants where it usually belongs, stuff sit into his underpants and then leaves and destroys documents. It's just like that. But he had the right to do that, right? that's why he didn't go to jail. Naturally, because of the pants exception.
Starting point is 00:07:02 If it's in your phone. Yeah. Okay. All right. You can't get rated. Here's the thing, Mike, you has said to me, I don't even know. When we were going through the Clinton thing, I said, Mike, why are we not going after this woman? Because the average person would go, they'd be in prison.
Starting point is 00:07:19 And you calmly, like you always do, said Glenn, we don't want to start that. Because once you go. go after an opponent that you may have lost to or you're going to run against, then you become a banana republic. Yes. That is what happens. Look at countries that do that. Look at countries that prosecute and prison their political opponents.
Starting point is 00:07:48 And it's especially egregious here where you've got a former president who is contemplating, preparing for a run against the incumbent. present presidents of the United States. It's made far more serious by virtue of that. Now, look, we don't know all the facts here. Maybe there's more than we don't see. I don't know. All I'm saying is, look at this objectively.
Starting point is 00:08:11 There is a chill wind that blows with this. I don't know how we close this door now that it's been opened. So that's why I'm saying there darn well better be some really compelling stuff, stuff that we're not seeing at this point. Because this is playing with fire. So just to lighten the mood, I said yesterday, I tweeted, if Donald Trump has, let's say, Kathy, Kathy Griffith's head in his safe at Marlago, it would not only be ironic, a little bit funny, but it would also be murder. So I would be, okay, okay, it went in because he had Kathy Griffith's head in his safe. I get it.
Starting point is 00:08:53 but it better be something big to violate this rule. This changes everything. Does it not? Yes. Yes. Yes, it does. And it's terribly threatened. Now, look, maybe we could give them more of the benefit of the debt.
Starting point is 00:09:13 I'd love to be able to do that. But the one they've got to throw us a bone. They've got to give us something to give them that benefit of the doubt. but why why how how yeah how could we possibly give them the benefit of the doubt when their own FBI they went to the FISA court and lied about Carter Page to be able to get a warrant from the fisa court and the FISA court did nothing to the FBI and the FBI did nothing to the FBI why should we how can they deserve the benefit of the doubt and not only that we engaged in fact door searches of information collected under Section 702 of FISA.
Starting point is 00:10:04 And then they act like it's no big deal. I asked Christopher Ray about it in the hearing before the Judiciary Committee last week. It's hard to even get him to engage on that. There's the same FBI, moreover, that recently published as symbols of militia violent extremism, symbols as innocuous and embedded in our nation's history as the Gadsden flag, you know, the don't get on me symbol, as the Betsy Ross flag, and things like that. This is how they're tweeting symbols long associated with American history, and they're calling those symbols of violent domestic extremism. So you add all these things together, and it becomes very, very discouraging.
Starting point is 00:10:54 I tell you, Glenn, when you merge all of this with, the fact that the Democrats just passed through the stat only 36 hours ago or so, this plan to hire an additional 87,000 IRS agents, bringing the total number of IRS agents to, I don't know, it's 150, 160,000 so far. Making this a bigger, and more people working there than work at the Pentagon than working at the FBI, then work at so many of our, very large government agencies. Combined. This is really, really frightening. This is, I'm telling you, it's a private army. It is a private army.
Starting point is 00:11:38 And if the, first of all, I think there's a couple of results from this. One, I think they really want another January 6th. They are begging for it. Nobody paid attention to the January 6 hearings because everybody knows it's bull crap. There were problems. But it wasn't the worst since the Civil War, not even close. The bad guys should have gone to jail, but look at how they treated those guys. American citizens treated like no American citizens have been treated probably since the Civil War.
Starting point is 00:12:12 And they treat them like this. They couldn't. They trump everything up, no pun intended. And they can't get America to care about it. They have nothing to run on. And what do they do? So we go out and it's completely something new. It's, oh, no, he has these documents. That's insanity to go and do this. I think they are just poking America with a stick saying, come on, come get us. And that would be the worst thing that could happen
Starting point is 00:12:47 because then I think we're all over. I think we're done. If you look around, it has been saying on the left, they're celebrating this. They're spiking the football. by saying things like, oh, you know, the orange man's going to be wearing an orange jumpsuit pretty soon. This is giving into their... Once they found out it wasn't about Jenny.
Starting point is 00:13:18 For whether you hate the incumbent president of the United States, the current president of the United States, can prosecute, can raid a would-be political opponent, somebody considering running against them. There better be a darn good reason for that, because if not, you violate it all. sorts of norms, norms that go back nearly two and a half centuries. We don't want to open that door because I don't know if it can be closed. So, Mike, I have to tell you, I believe you, I trust you. You know, when you said that about Hillary Clinton, I didn't like it, but I'm like, you're right, you're right, we shouldn't do that. And I really wrestled.
Starting point is 00:14:06 I've wrestled with that thought of why don't we arrest these people for a very long time. I have to tell you, after this, if the Republicans, win and they don't go after and put in jail every damn one of these people that are trying to destroy our nation through lies and deceit, you won't have a country left. You won't have a country left. I hope this makes the Republicans focus on the Constitution. You violate the Constitution. I don't care which party you belong to. You go to jail. period. Is that too extreme? No, it's not too extreme. I still don't think it's a good idea for people to chant, lock her up, and things like that.
Starting point is 00:14:57 I don't want any chanting. I want justice. I want a reasoned justice. That's what I want. I don't want chanting. I don't want a mob. Well, where to go. And I think that's what we need now more than ever. And as much as anything, Glenn, honestly, our country needs prayers. We need to pray for our country. I really do worry about the period of unrest that's coming as a result of this. Mike, what are you guys going to do today? What can you do today that is meaningful in Washington? All right. So we're going to ask a lot of questions,
Starting point is 00:15:45 and those questions right now aren't going to carry the same level of weight as they will carry as of noon on January 3rd. Because as up noon on January 3rd, gavels are going to change hands. Because Americans are going to show up in record numbers in November, and they're going to elect Republicans. They're not going to come within a country mile of a Democrat and unless they themselves are bought into this idea
Starting point is 00:16:16 that you can just politicize, and weaponize law enforcement in this country. And that's one of those questions will have to be answered, because we'll have subpoena power, will have the ability to bring in people and get them to answer questions. And then when we find out who's broken the law and what they did and why they did it, those people in time will also meet justice. Mike, thank you so much.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Mike Lee, the center from, by the way, I know this guy, Egg McMuffin, is running, against you and you should sue him. You should sue him for what he is saying about you. He immediately yesterday tweeted out saying, oh, you know, I'd be concerned if I were Mike Lee, if a guy I had been helping out was going to prison.
Starting point is 00:17:11 How you feeling, Mike? Sue the man, Mike. Enough is enough. Time to sort out what remedies. exist. But the first remedy I'm focused on right now, he's beating him, beating him soundly, exposing him for the shadow Democrat that he is, having been endorsed by the Democratic Party, having praised Joe Biden and everything he does, having been a shill for Democratic causes, I'm going to beat him soundly in the polls. And anyone within the sound of my voice, I'd invite them to join me in the cause of defeating the shadow Democrat Evan McMullen. And you can help me in that cause by going to lead for Senate. That's LeeforSenet.com. This guy's getting Democratic money, he's raising money through Act Blue. Democrats all over the country are funding his campaign.
Starting point is 00:18:12 And he's running as if he's kind of a Republican, but he's not. He's a shadow Democrat. So go to Leeforsenate.com and help me defeat him. Thank you, Mike. I will tell you that if we lose Mike Lee in the Senate, we have lost a lion. and I know he sounds like a lamb at times, and that's why he's so good. He never rants and raves, and he's logical,
Starting point is 00:18:39 but I will tell you, just like a surgical knife, he will cut the infection out. Thank you so much, Mike. I appreciate it. All right, our sponsor, this half hour is relief factor. I love to paint. sometimes thinking, you know, about things, things that are in your mind, take shape slowly on a canvas. But I can tell you it wouldn't have ever happened if I hadn't had relief factor. I just wouldn't be able to do it anymore.
Starting point is 00:19:12 I had pain in my hands for years and years and years, pain in my body, and my hands were the worst because they would just stop working. They'd start shaking really bad and they'd stop working. When I stopped taking my relief factor, if I miss a couple of things, of days or whatever. I try to take it three times a day, but, you know, up at the ranch, especially all by myself without my wife going, are you taking your life? A few days without taking it.
Starting point is 00:19:37 My hands start to shake again. It's just bad. And all it is, it's not a drug. It was developed by doctors. And it takes care of inflammation. It hits it four different directions. I never thought it would work for me. Maybe you don't think it'll work for you.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Just try it for three weeks, will you? Ninety-five, try it for three weeks. 70% of the people who try it go on to order more. I'm one of them. Relieffactor.com. 800, the number four relief. 800, the number four relief. Relieffactor.com.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Feel the difference. 10 seconds, station ID. I beg that anyone, anyone that you hear say anything like, it's time to take and sign our own declaration of amendments. Whatever it is. No. Now is the time to vote. We are so close to the election. Send them a very clear message. Very clear. They are doing this. I am convinced that look what they're doing. They're making him a martyr. Now, do they understand that? They're making Donald Trump. I mean, I almost wore my MAGA hat in today again. Okay?
Starting point is 00:21:10 They're making him into a martyr. That's a symbol is much, much worse than a presidential candidate. So what is their end game here? Their end game is they need you to swing. Do not do it. Any influence you have with anybody, if anyone says anything, stifle it immediately and say, this will make things a thousand times worse.
Starting point is 00:21:43 I really think their end goal here. I mean, they got 87,000 IRS agents ready to be hired. What do you think that's for? That is a private presidential army. That's what that is. To take care of people like you or like me or anybody else they don't like. The army of the IRS, IRS is what about, don't we have a standing army of 350? I think our standing army. If that's right,
Starting point is 00:22:14 that's about half of our standing army. That's kind of a problem. It's kind of a problem. Why do you think they have that? Pray pray. Pray to love your enemy. Pray for peace. Pray for peace inside of yourself and everyone else. This is a crit. This, these are the times that try men's souls. Vote. Vote. Vote. The Glenn Back program. Well, it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Well, it certainly won't if you don't vote. We'll deal with it then. My Patriots apply. Hey, Stu. Do you think anything? going on where it might lead to, I don't know, chaos, disruption? No. Shortages.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Everything is totally fine and will be fine for the foreseeable future. Okay. All right. So if you were going to go to my Patriot Supply and, you know, get a four-week emergency food kit from my Patriot supply, $50 off the regular price. That would be smarter. I mean, I don't know. Paranoid.
Starting point is 00:23:29 It just seems like you're, yeah, you don't really need to do that right now. Why now? Right. What have you seen in the news that would make you think you might possibly have a breakdown of all society tomorrow? Yep, that's true. I haven't seen anything that would say, we're headed to really dark places. Preparewicklend.com. Preparewithglen.com.
Starting point is 00:23:53 Make sure your family is safe and fed. Preparewithglen.com. Go there now. We need Blaze TV now more than ever. Go to blazTV.com slash Glenn. The promo code is Glenn and save $10. Get involved. My personal message to America on what happened yesterday at Marlago at the top of our three of today's podcast, you don't want to miss it.
Starting point is 00:24:37 Does anybody have any credibility anymore? If you actually, if you are actually celebrating what is happening with Donald Trump, you have no idea how much this changes things. You may be for the destruction of America and then you celebrate. If you're not for the destruction of America, you better pay attention quickly. This is a massive move. and who has credibility on it. Nobody's going to believe Donald Trump. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:21 The right will believe Donald Trump, but nobody on the left, so you're not going to change any minds there. Do you think the right's going to believe the New York Times, MSNBC, NBC, CBS? You think we're going to believe the New York Times? The people who have been carrying water for the Biden crimes, the Clinton crimes,
Starting point is 00:25:39 and I'm not talking about the stupid death list. I'm talking about a server. and having her own State Department people go into a skiff, which is the top secret room. It's completely sealed off, going in, getting documents, cutting off top secret, and then emailing them to her on her private server. And nothing? And now you're going to try to convince me, this has nothing to do with January 6. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:12 What does it have to do with? Well, it's a National Archives. thing. He's got papers that should be in the history department of the house. Excuse me, what? He has top secret papers. We have pictures. Coincidentally, they came out yesterday right around the time of the raid, you know, of him flushing stuff down the toilet. We don't know what it was, but somebody who's nameless took pictures of his toilets when he was traveling and, you know, he was smart enough to rip him up so we don't know what they said, but he wasn't smart enough to flush him.
Starting point is 00:26:45 You know, he's one of those guys that just leaves the toilet without flushing it. I mean, there wasn't anything in it except the papers that he tore up because he wanted to make sure that nobody ever saw those papers and they were destroyed. And then he went in and he ripped them up over the toilet, let them in the toilet, and then he forgets to flush. I don't even know if he washed his hands. but lucky for you we had somebody with him
Starting point is 00:27:16 with a camera on their phone and they went in right after hey light a match Mr. President click good thing for us huh? That's ridiculous the bank servers he's got he's pinging a bank
Starting point is 00:27:39 untrue Carter Page is a Russian spy Untrue. Donald Trump is a Russian spy. Does he look like a Russian spy? Untrue. Collusion with Russia. Untrue. Ukraine, the perfect phone call. Uh, not true. Not true. Wasn't a perfect phone call. Was not impeachable. The P-tape dossier. None of that was true. Here's why they can't have him as president in the United States. Okay? They can't have him as president of the United States because we are headed towards a completely new, all redesigned, non-capitalist, non-constitutional, great reset. And all of the West is involved in it.
Starting point is 00:28:33 And New York Times, don't call me a conspiracy theory because you just wrote a story about me and people like me trying to stop ESG, which you said didn't exist. So you have no credibility. This is not just about their hatred for Donald Trump. This is about the elites. Now, I've got to tell you, I don't like the Secret Service. I've said this since Bush was in office. I think there's a problem in the Secret Service.
Starting point is 00:29:08 I think it's poorly run. I am a guy who has paid about a million dollars for my family's security every freaking year for the last 15 years. Okay, think about that. Oh, Glenn Beck must be rolling in the dough. No, not after the security costs. Thank you. But I want my family to be safe. And I would rather have my security than any security from the Secret Service because they rely on money.
Starting point is 00:29:38 That's it. They'll solve it with money. We'll just get more guys. Donald Trump should hire his own security. Donald Trump should hire his own security because I'm sorry, whether it is through just stupidity or it's part of the government. I don't know. If you're on the Secret Service detail of Donald Trump, God bless you. I watched you guys at CPAC. I watched you more than I watched. anything else. I saw your eyes. I watched you. And there are those on his team that whether you like him or not are doing your job. And I thank you for that. But if they can't get this guy by hooker by crook to go in and be a part of the new jail system for political opponents, they will kill him.
Starting point is 00:30:42 they cannot have him be president because he is America first. Not only that, you do this to this guy? Ah, gee, you've gone after my family, you've gone after me, you lied about me. I have the evidence. All I have to do is bring it out because it's all on videotape on some dumb son's phone. do you really think a new Justice Department that's not even political
Starting point is 00:31:20 but just clear that hold nothing back Hillary Clinton and her Clinton initiative do you think the Clinton initiative that there's no impropriety going on there do you really think
Starting point is 00:31:43 that Adam Schiff who's lied? There's nothing there. Nothing for Hunter. Nothing for Joe Biden in, you know, in China. Nothing. No, there's nothing there. Black Rock, the collusion with the banks.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Everything that they're doing now, right now, you don't think that a justice department that is hell bent on cleaning and settling scores could settle scores pretty damn quickly? I hope we don't get there because this has to be about reasoned justice. But look at what they've just caused. What is their end game? What is the end game?
Starting point is 00:32:35 You make him into a martyr by throw me in jail or killing him? You make him a martyr. So you make him stronger. That doesn't make sense. Why would you want that? well we just want him out of the you think ronda santis isn't going to be the immediate frontrunner and that ron de santis would be easier to beat in your book are you that stupid you wait you take out donald trump and then the heir apparent rondesantis runs and for some reason
Starting point is 00:33:17 you think that all the Trump supporters wouldn't go, yep, what is your end game? The only one that makes sense to me is stop him at any cost and lunatics will take to the streets and then we'll have our evidence that they are more dangerous than anyone could possibly imagine. Please pray for your country.
Starting point is 00:33:54 I'd love, I don't expect to hear from any, but I would love to hear from a Democrat today. Alan Dershowitz has the balls to come on. Wait till you hear what he has to say. Is there a single Democrat within the sign of my voice? Single one that sees this? Where are the FBI agents? Where are the freaking FBI agents who don't see what's coming?
Starting point is 00:34:28 Still looked up the things, 87,000 IRS agents coupled with what they already have. that's about 170, that's almost the size of our national guard. You feel comfortable with that, Democrats? You don't think that there's a possibility that, not this guy, because this guy is so perfect. He's made your life so good. I mean, everything he's done is sunshine and lollipops.
Starting point is 00:34:55 Do you really think that there's no possibility that someone, even Donald Trump, might come in at some point and weaponize? The IRS? Is there anybody? Is there a single Democrat? Call me. I'd love to hear from you. 888-7-27-B-E-C-K.
Starting point is 00:35:20 Is there one? Because look, I voted for the guy. But this is too far. This is too much. Anybody that says, oh, you would have done that to Hillary Clinton, I would have gone ape, fascist. I see what you guys have been worried about.
Starting point is 00:35:42 8887 surprisingly no 888 727 BECK more in a minute car repairs have always been expensive even before there was a computer chips shortage car manufacturers had to put a hold on
Starting point is 00:36:02 production which we're still feeling now you could easily expect to drop a few paychecks worth of money to fix that car if something goes wrong it's out of warranty yeah a lot worse don't don't deal with it. Take this hassle off your plate. Please, I know money is hard to come by. And that's why
Starting point is 00:36:21 we have health insurance, because you know if you get sick and you're going to, if it's something serious, you're screwed, right? That's why you have health insurance. This is health insurance for your car. Car Shield offers a production plan for around $100 a month. You choose the mechanic to do the work. Starting point is 00:37:07 up. Your coverage won't. CarShield.com slash Beck. Call 800, 391, 88888. carshield.com slash back 800391 8888. Do it now. Is there anyone in American history that has been more investigated and persecuted than Donald Trump? Because it's not just the United States that has investigated him. He's been investigated by every Western source. And I believe also Russia and everybody else. He has been investigated.
Starting point is 00:38:04 if they had anything, it would have come out. Anything. I told him recently. I said, you have got to be the cleanest man ever to be in politics. Because, I mean, you know, you're a developer in New York. You don't get anything done without a little bit to the mob. You know what I mean? Make this problem go away.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Trying to get this building built. What do you say? If that would have happened, they would have had it by now. every agency on the planet has looked for dirt on this guy and you're going in to raid his house. Why? If this was Donald Trump, I would be on the air today saying exactly the same thing. You mean if Trump was president? If Trump was president and he was doing this to, let's say, Hillary Clinton, I'd be pretty sure that there was something there because nobody has ever investigated.
Starting point is 00:39:02 any of the crimes that we know of. And so, but I would be saying the same thing. You damn well better have something huge, man. You better come out of that house with Vince Foster's body. Okay. You better come out with that because you don't do it. What do they have on this guy? It just keeps getting smaller and he didn't vacuum.
Starting point is 00:39:31 You know, he's never vacuumed his cover. carpet. He has servants to it. He's never vacuumed himself. Doesn't even know how to use a vacuum. You're joking, but they came out yesterday with the biggest, the biggest story in months was that he didn't flush the toilet well enough. Right. That's basically what they gave out of the yesterday. Think about how stupid you have to be to believe that, that he would go into his own bathroom, tear it up, put it in the toilet, and then not flush. Why you insane? If you see the pictures, the, the, the, the, the, he would. He rips it up to these little rectangles, supposedly.
Starting point is 00:40:05 And yet, it does look like his handwriting on there, but it's all stacked so neatly at the bottom of the toilet. It wasn't like he flushed it and it didn't go down. It looks like he just dropped it in there. No, and it's like... When you would do something like that, I would think that you would just, you know, you tear it and you throw it in. Tear it and throw it in. Tear it and throw it in. This looks like he tore it and then threw it in as one.
Starting point is 00:40:26 As one big stack. It somehow floated right to the bottom in one big stack and then he didn't flush, which is... An odd step to take. You're so clear of, I'm going to get rid of this. And then you don't flush. And somebody is like, hey, I got to go in. Hey, I got to go party now, eh? Come on.
Starting point is 00:40:47 It's implausible, doesn't it? It's totally implausible. I don't know. But even if it is, this is what you're grading a president's house for? America. This is not. us. Vote. Dedicate yourself today to just live for November and vote.
Starting point is 00:41:17 Wouldn't be nice to buy things from someone who didn't despise you? I would like that. Isn't that kind of an interesting concept? You walk into the store and they're like, I hate them. Right. You don't, and I'd like somebody go, hi, I don't, I'm neutral on you. Yeah, just neutral. That's all.
Starting point is 00:41:34 You don't have to love me. Just be neutral. Yeah. Yeah, that's all I need. And Grip 6 does more than that because they love this country. And not a lot of companies can say that anymore. That used to be something that everybody led with, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:47 We love this country. This is a, you know, we're a great American company. Now they run from that, like the plague. Please look past that we're made in the USA. Yeah. We really would rather be made in China. We're trying to get our factories move right now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Don't hold that again. Grip6.com slash stew is the place to go. It's a small company in Utah. They sell all over the world, but they source. everything right here in America. They love this country. They've got great belts. They've got awesome wallets. Great socks as well. Starting point is 00:42:26 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Back program. Hello, America. Welcome to the Lenbeck program, she. It's almost as if nothing is going on of importance. The FBI searched Trump's Marlago home yesterday. This is unheard of. We don't do this. You might know. I talked to Mike Lee about six years ago when we were going through the Hillary, you know, emails on her server. And I'm like, why is she not going to jail? Why are we not prosecuting? He said, in America, we have made the choice that we don't want to be a banana republic and we just don't want to start down that road because that's the way Russia does it that's the way banana republics do it we have now a weaponized
Starting point is 00:44:09 government a weaponized IRS soon to be weaponized it's already been somewhat but I don't think you've seen anything like what's coming and now the FBI weaponized against the I guess enemies of the state as dictated by a political party. They better come out of Marlago with something huge, huge. As I said before, I would have said this with Hillary Clinton. You better come out with Vince Foster's body and the pictures of you killing him in the park. If that's what you're going to do, send the FBI in for a raid like this. This is un-American.
Starting point is 00:44:52 We don't do this. Now, I reserve judgment. Maybe he's got heads in his refrigerator. I highly doubt it. I wanted to get a legal expert from a man who I can trust to speak his mind. He is the author of The Price of Principle, which is one of the best titles I've ever heard. The Price of Principal, Alan Dershowitz in 60. When you're looking to buy or sell a house, it's easy just to kind of pick the real estate agent out of a hat or even worse, go with somebody you might know personally just because they're, you know, moonlighting as a real estate agent.
Starting point is 00:45:34 Here's the thing. You don't want somebody that is halfway. You want somebody who's going to who's going to do the best, been in the business, has the experience. This is the largest investment you may ever make. What you need is to contact real estate agents. I trust.com. my company. It pairs you with a top-selling real estate agent in your area and the area you're moving to. Whether you're moving across town or across the country, the agents we work for will not only
Starting point is 00:46:04 get you started on the right foot, they will see the whole process through to the end. Don't take my word for it. Do your own homework. Oh, by the way, it's just kind of an added benefit. If you say, is this the master bedroom, they're not going to freak out and call the PC cops on you. If you say, is this the
Starting point is 00:46:20 principal bedroom, they're not going to freak out. either. Yeah, they're just going to sell your house and help you buy anyone. Crazy, isn't it? Real estate agents, I trust.com. Professor Alan Dershowitz, back on the program. Alan, you were one of the first people I thought of when I heard what was going on because I knew you would have an opinion and it would force me to either rethink mine or to shore mine. my opinion up. Tell me about the raid on Donald Trump. Well, first of all, you know, I have more experience under the Fourth Amendment than probably
Starting point is 00:47:04 any academic in America. I understand the Fourth Amendment. I've written books about it. I've litigated dozens of cases on the Fourth Amendment. And I'm a liberal Democrat who voted for Biden and against Trump. But this raid is absolutely outrageous and unconstitutional. You don't engage in a raid on a house unless you've exhausted all other possibilities. And the most obvious recourse here was a subpoena, a subpoena to the president,
Starting point is 00:47:36 saying there are 25 boxes in your house. There's a safe. We would like you to bring them all to the court tomorrow morning before you have a chance to leave where you are in the Northeast and come there and destroy anything. and we will then submit it to a judge, and lawyers can argue some of it was unclassified. Some of it was unclassified by the president. Some was never classified. Some may be so classified that even the FBI shouldn't have access to it.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Some may be privileged, lawyer-client, executive privilege. This is exactly the kind of thing that needs a document-by-document analysis by a judge, not the FBI coming in and sweeper. everything together, breaking into a safe. It reminds me of the Geraldo Rivera fiasco when he went into the safe, one of the big gangsters, Capone or somebody, and nothing was in there. Nothing was in there. You know, you must have a single standard of justice. I'm a friend of both Sandy Burger, who was a former national security advisor,
Starting point is 00:48:41 the late Sandy Burger, and a friend of Hillary Clinton. What they were accused of was exactly comparable. and there were no searches of their houses. People who have been found guilty of taking classified material improperly have been given fines. I don't think there's ever been a search like this based on the allegations made in this case. Now, don't rush to judgment. Maybe there is something there. Right now, the burden of proof is heavily on the Justice Department and the FBI to justify
Starting point is 00:49:18 what they have done. Absent a justification, most Americans will not believe this was necessary. And they're going to come back and say, oh, we can't discuss it. Ongoing investigation, classified material, nonsense.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Appoint a special master who has security clearance, who can objectively look through this thing, or else appoint the congressional committee, a real committee, not like January 6th, which includes, you know, 40% Republican, 60% Democrats, have them look at this in a classified manner. But we cannot accept either silence or claim that privilege somehow or confidentiality requires silence.
Starting point is 00:50:06 But do we even know the chain of command now? I mean, how safe is it? First of all, Alan, we had Hillary Clinton having some of her staff, cut top secret off the top of documents in a skiff, send them to her server at her house. And we didn't go through this. What could possibly be in these documents that are so vital that it warrants this compared to what Hillary Clinton did? Or compared to what a subpoena would have produced. We don't know what's in there.
Starting point is 00:50:47 maybe there is some smoking gun again he wasn't even on the premises he couldn't have destroyed the information all they had to do is issue a subpoena returnable this morning at nine o'clock there would have been no possibility of destroying evidence and by the way if anyone president trump or anyone else ordered the destruction of evidence that's nixon time that's impeachment that's criminal prosecution. That's a serious crime destroying subpoenaed material. That's what the law is there for to prevent that. Does anybody believe that Donald Trump would have taken a chance to destroy material? He didn't know whether they were copies of the material or other evidence that it might be destroyed. This is a pretext. A pretext. There's no way that the Justice Department
Starting point is 00:51:42 actually believe that President Trump would destroy the documents. Now, people say, oh, but a judge approved of this search warrant, let me tell you, with almost 60 years of experiences of criminal law, I've never heard of a judge ever turning down a search warrant, ever. They give out search warrants more easily than Halloween candy. And so that's not a safe guard at all. Who was the judge? Do we know? Who did this? Do we know anything about them?
Starting point is 00:52:11 We don't know anything. no we we haven't seen the document look there is a search warrant in existence we should see it there is an affidavit in support of the search warrant we know what happened when there was the search warrant for the fisa court it turned out to be fake it turned out to be filled with lies by the FBI yeah well you know I love the FBI I have work with the FBI I have worked with the FBI I have worked with former directors of the FBI. It's a great organization. I don't know what the chain of command is.
Starting point is 00:52:46 The White House has denied knowing about the raid, which is quite surprising. Obviously, the Attorney General, who I also know, a former student at Harvard Law School, I think very highly of him. I supported him for the Supreme Court. He obviously had to approve this raid. What was he thinking? Let him tell us. Maybe he's right.
Starting point is 00:53:07 maybe he did the right thing. I want to know that. Americans have a right to know that because we all now know if you can do this to a former president, you can do it to Glenn Beck, you can do it to Alan Dershowitz. You can do it to all of your listeners. And this has to be justified or else it has to be undone. Can you, could you speak directly as if I were a person that voted for Biden and I despise Donald Trump? and I think he's guilty of everything that and he just can't be president anymore.
Starting point is 00:53:43 Why is this so important that we correct? Yeah. Yeah, look, I'm talking to you from Martha's Vineyard where nobody in Showmark speaks to me anymore. Recently, I was invited to a big event of a celebration of somebody's engagement. I got a letter this morning saying, we have been told not to invite you because if we invite you, nobody else will come. Oh my gosh. Our social reputations will be destroyed.
Starting point is 00:54:17 I had another event, a concert, where a good friend of mine said, if I invited you, I'd be committing social suicide. I tell all these stories naming names in my book, The Price of Principle, because the Price of Principle is all about what happens to Americans today. when they try to be neutral, try to be principal, try to be objective, and don't pick sides. And so I would hope that people who hate Trump, who voted for Biden, I voted for Biden, are just as upset at what happened here as people who are Trump supporters. Now, look, there are three groups of people.
Starting point is 00:54:55 There are the Lawrence tribes for whom, if you're after Trump, everything's okay. Constitution be damned. Constitution was written for the Democratic Party. There's no objective status. Okay, that's one group of people. The other group of people are so supportive of Trump that nothing done against him can never be justified. The vast majority of Americans want to see justice,
Starting point is 00:55:20 whether they voted for or against the candidate. And that's what we're not seeing here today. And so I urge all of my fellow Democrats to object to this. We're the ones who can really have an influence on this administration because we're not Trump supporters. We're justice supporters. We believe in the Constitution. And that's where the pressure has to come. Would you agree that the FBI's been weaponized? I think that there are elements within the FBI that have been weaponized. I do think that. Look, it happened during the McCarthy period as well. And it was wrong.
Starting point is 00:56:02 then and it's wrong now. The FBI should be, look, the head of the FBI is not a liberal Democrat. He's, you know, nonpartisan. And I don't know whether he has deliberately done these things. But remember, the FBI works for the Justice Department. They are part of the Justice Department. And so, you know, there's an old story where the Attorney General of the United States during the Second World War, try to get into the building late, and the building was restricted. And he said to the guard, I am the Attorney General of the United States. And the guard said, I don't care if you're Jade Gouver himself, you can't get in here. But that was wrong.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Jade Gould work for the Attorney General of the United States. And so, so does the director of the FBI work for the Justice Department. Is your book out yet? I haven't read it yet. Sorry to say that. It is. It's doing very well on Amazon. And please buy it and review it because it's all about what's going on now. It's all about it starts out with the phrase that partisanship has Trump principle. Yes. And that we no longer live in a nation governed by principles. We live in a nation governed by partisanship divisions. And, you know, as Abraham Lincoln said, a nation divided itself against itself. Can't stand. That's the nation we're living in today. I will read it. The price of principle. You are paying a very high price for that as are others. But thank you for having them and sticking to them. I have a thick skin. I have a thick skin. I can bear the cost. But when the people
Starting point is 00:57:46 of my island, Martha's Vineyard, are not allowed to hear me speak at the Chilmark Library. When I've been banned by a public library because I defended President Trump, then it goes beyond any parties or social convenience or social inconvenience, people have the right to disinvite me if they don't like my politics. They're wrong to do it, but they have the right to do it, but they have no right to prevent a library from allowing me to speak, which is what's happened. I hate to say this, but welcome to the club. Thanks so much, Alan Dershowitz. Thank you. You bet. The author of The Price of Principle. So you got amazing. You didn't get invites to one event.
Starting point is 00:58:28 but he got invited to a new club. Yes, he did. There's an upside. It's not a clubby. No, I don't think it really is. So yesterday we got Damon in the new German Shepherd. He is really sweet. A little spicy.
Starting point is 00:58:43 A little spicy. But just, we got to keep them apart, I guess, for like at least four weeks. They have to get to kind of know each other before they're off the chains. And,
Starting point is 00:58:55 who knows is just like, what is he doing here? I don't recognize him. He was a visitor yesterday. Why is he sleeping over? We don't have sleepovers with dogs. So we have to feed them separately now and everything else. We'll see how things work out.
Starting point is 00:59:10 But they seem to like each other a lot. He's just a little spicy. And who knows, a little old. But yesterday they both got an extra, you know, healthy scoop of rough greens in their food. Rough greens is something that you put on your food. It is really, really good. Chalk full of vitamins, minerals, probiotics, antioxidants, you name it. If it's healthy for your dog, it's probably in Rough Greens.
Starting point is 00:59:36 Get it now. Roughgreens.com slash Beck. You'll get a free trial bag right now. Oh, you pay for shipping. It's Roughgreens.com slash Beck or call 833 Glenn 33. That's 833, G-L-E-N-33. Call today. 10 seconds, station, I do.
Starting point is 01:00:03 Remember, the idea is top-down. Bottom up, inside out. These are the times. Is it amazing that I just told you yesterday, I feel like the seasons have changed again, and we're about to head into even a faster decline. Thanks for doing that. I think it's your fault.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Yeah, right. You're the one calling for it. Yeah. This is, you worry about this because it seems like there's no principle governing this stuff anymore. We're no longer in a. society where these rules and norms apply, you know, for all the stuff they said about Donald Trump, and for all the times he was on stage saying, lock her up and all these things that
Starting point is 01:00:49 the left constantly complained about, I might remind you. He never did any of that stuff. Right. He didn't do it. Right. Now they're doing it. And the same people who are so opposed to the chance on stage are cheering. Cheering it on with every fiber of their being. Yeah, it's crazy. Um, listen, I want to say something that you may not like, but I'm not here really for you to like me. I mean, my, my company would say, yes, Glenn, that is the point, but I have to tell you the truth. Um, please, let me ask you, if you have a, you know, piss on all liberals bumper stickers or, uh, an F Joe Biden. anything like that that is really divisive. I ask you to take that off,
Starting point is 01:01:47 symbolically take that off your car, to symbolically remind you in your mind that you want to be a peacemaker and not somebody who is stirring things up. Because if we want the other side to eventually come over, which we're hoping that Democrats will see what's going on.
Starting point is 01:02:12 And look, you're not going to feel this. You're going to feel this in your own community. You're not going to feel this on Twitter or social media because that's a distortion of us. That is a fun house mirror. So you're not going to feel it. And every time you go on social media, you're going to get more and more pissed off.
Starting point is 01:02:32 So stop it. Stop it. Do everything you can to foster peace in your, every time you want to pick up, pick up social media and you want to read, you want to read comments, pick something else up. I don't care of it's Charlotte's Web.
Starting point is 01:02:51 I would recommend, you know, the scriptures, but I don't care if it's Charlotte's Web, something that will turn the heat down in you. We have to be logical, reasonable, loving, and active voters. This does not mean that you sit down and shut up. It just means now is the time to behave differently. If anyone does anything stupid,
Starting point is 01:03:19 and remember we're in a country of 350 million, the odds of that are pretty good. If anybody does anything stupid, it will change our nation and could collapse our nation. and we lose this freedom and American experience forever. Do everything you can to turn down the heat. That does not mean you don't speak out about what's going on. It's wrong?
Starting point is 01:03:46 There are many reasons why it's wrong. I'll wait to see the evidence. If not, I'm waiting for them to explain themselves, and they will explain themselves come November. The Glenn Back Program. American financing NMLS-182334, www.mLS Consumer Access.org. So we're living in a time where people in charge
Starting point is 01:04:12 are just shuffling gasoline-soaked dollar bills into a forest fire to put it out. You can see the effects. People all over the country are feeling hurt, all over the world. And they're starting to lose whatever financial progress they made while just trying to survive. How about you?
Starting point is 01:04:32 We can all be part of the problem or we can be part of the solution. And the best thing you can do is prepare yourself. Take a close look at all of the options that you have to try to get out of those high interest credit cards. These are, we have to be as financially free as we can. It's a phone call that you're going to make to American financing today. We'll take 10 minutes. That's it. They're honest.
Starting point is 01:04:55 They work for you, not the banks. And they'll give you options on a business. what you can do to secure your financial future and pay some of this stuff off and get a lower monthly payment. I want you to call American Financing now 800906 2440, 800906 2440 Americanfinancing. Subscribe to Blaze TV. Go to blazTV.com slash Glenn. The promo code is Glenn to save 10 bucks off your subscription. Thomas Massey next. We have an out-of-control federal government. This is what happens when you don't follow the Constitution and respect state rights. My comments that I felt very powerfully compelled to share with you coming up in just a few minutes.
Starting point is 01:05:49 I did want to bring on Thomas Massey. We were going to talk about the IRS and the weaponization of the IRS. Or perhaps he's big on what the ATF is doing now with guns. and how that's been weaponized, or how the Department of Ed is also now been weaponized against our families. But I thought we would today instead just talk about the weaponization of the DOJ with what happened yesterday. Thomas Massey, welcome. Thanks, Glenn. It's a new day.
Starting point is 01:06:23 It's a different era. I feel like we're in a third world dictatorship or a banana republic. I have to tell you, it is. I said to my family last night, I think this is the beginning of the end or a new beginning. It's one of the two. But we're now here. Depending on what we do from here, we'll decide whether the Republic survives. Would you agree with that?
Starting point is 01:06:53 I would agree. And Joe Biden can't hide in a basement on this. Look, the left sort of fantasizes, and the right was guilty of this, I think, for a while until they woke up that the DOJ is some independent fourth branch of government. The attorney general is the head of the DOJ. He works for the president. There's not a fourth branch of government. If it did exist, it would be unconstitutional. You have to be able to get some recourse or redress at the ballot box if this executive branch agency, you know, goes rogue, which to me, either they've gone rogue or, you know, Biden's not.
Starting point is 01:07:33 owning up to everything he knows about this, or maybe he's just got dementia and the people run in the place aren't owning up. I mean, it's a remarkable statement that he wouldn't have been informed. You don't, this is, this is the first time in American history. This has happened.
Starting point is 01:07:52 And you don't do this lightly. Even I, I mean, Thomas, I'm a recovering alcoholic, you know, radio, rodeo guy.
Starting point is 01:08:01 I mean, I know nothing. and I know you don't do this unless you're going to come out with a big bag of bodies, really. You don't do this. That's right. You've got to, I've racked my brain trying to think of what they could produce that would justify what they have done. If there's some minor document infraction here, the equivalent of an overdue library book, this is off the charts, crazy. and why can't you just send people, why can't you just work through the lawyers on this?
Starting point is 01:08:40 Right. You know, whenever they do a raid, whoever it is, when it's unannounced or surprise visit, it's usually for the drama of it. It's to start the prosecution in the public sphere. But they've been doing that only for five years now, six years. That's all they've been doing is trying him in public. There is no trial because there are no facts on anything. This isn't about, you know, the first, when I first heard about it, people were, you know, tweeting, oh, this is about January 6th. Then you find out, no, not about January 6th. It's about the Library of Congress, or I'm sorry, the National Archives, wanting some documents back.
Starting point is 01:09:24 Hold it. Do you remember a server with emails? We didn't do this to Hillary Clinton, and we didn't do it for a reason. And quite frankly, I don't necessarily agree with the reason, but there is a reason for not kicking down the door of your political opponent. Very dangerous. Yeah, I was on the oversight committee when James Comey, who was the FBI director, testified there that this was okay that Hillary Clinton had done this. It made every excuse in the world for not recommending prosecution, as if it were up to him to. decide but any case I remember all that very very vividly and now I'm on the
Starting point is 01:10:07 Judiciary Committee and that's that's where this oversight I believe is going to be unless they set up some special committee and the DOJ has got some explaining to do on this one so what are you what's your day like today I assume most stuff has gone out of the window can the GOP do anything about this We have a conference call in about an hour that was previously scheduled. I'm sure the topic has changed now to this. I hope it has if they've got a clue. If they're listening to the news, if they've got anything rattling around in their brain,
Starting point is 01:10:48 they've changed the topic of that phone call to this. Because it's a new day. It's a new day for our country. That's terrifying. I'm trying to find of an end game for the Democrats on this because my guess is, like everything else, they have nothing. But they're just going to use this as yet another log on the fire to insinuate and to make him look guilty.
Starting point is 01:11:17 They're making him into a martyr, a symbol, which is much worse for them than just a Republican, you know, who says crazy things. They're making him into a symbol. And I'm trying to think the only end game that seems reasonable to me is that they are trying to provoke a response from the American people, some sort of a violent response, which would be horrendous. I cannot tell you, if you're listening, how, horrible you know how horrible that would be i i i agree this this could be some part of a of a plan to change the outcome of the election that's coming up i say this is part of an insurrection that
Starting point is 01:12:11 started in 2016 when donald trump won the election and it's an insurrection internal of the government to reject the the body is rejecting the body being the government rejected the for five years and it's gone on two more years since then because they're terrified that he would come back well how how do you I mean the end game let's just say that they are just trying still just to try to get him and and they they make it we make it without any kind of incident to November and this will only incentivize and charge people on the right to go out through the fires of hell to go out and vote for the Republicans. How do you see this working out positively for the Democrats?
Starting point is 01:13:05 How do they see that? I can't see it. And you're right. The base will crawl through broken glass to vote in November because of this. But also, I think, I mean, I hope, you know, you've got some independents who. Oh, yeah. Who, you know, in a lot of elections, everybody's got their base and it's a turn. out came for that, but in the middle, there are people, believe it or not, who don't know which way
Starting point is 01:13:27 they're going to vote in November. And I believe this could influence them to say, wait, this government is out of control. We don't do this in America. In 250 years, we've not done this. The IRS hiring 87,000 new agents, by the time you combine the old agents with the new agents, you're almost at the numbers of the American National Guard. That's frightening. You're also about the number of people they've kicked out of the military. In my opinion, they're sort of transitioning from an outwardly focused military to an inwardly focused military in the executive branch. We just, in the Judiciary Committee, the Democrats passed a so-called assault weapons ban, but they call them weapons of war now.
Starting point is 01:14:17 and they exempted from the ban 80 plus executive agencies. So I offered an amendment to take Department of Education and the USDA, the Department of Agriculture, off the list of agencies that can have these weapons of war. The Democrats, that's their word, weapons of war, not mine. And all the Democrats voted to make sure that the Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Agriculture can have these so-called weapons of war. Now, I'll add to that, by the way, IRS is one of those 80 plus agencies front and center, and they've bought almost a million dollars worth of ammunition this year,
Starting point is 01:14:57 but they are one of those agencies who can own these, quote, weapons of war. Now, the reality is they're not weapons of war, but the Democrats think they are, and they want their agencies to have them, and they want to increase their ranks by 87,000 in the IRS alone, and their budget is $80 billion, they're going to shake down billionaires. You'd have to get a billion dollars out of 80 billionaires to make their budget make sense.
Starting point is 01:15:24 They're going to go after people who are mowing grass and selling Tupperware to try and make ends meet is what they're going to do. This is all just part, and I think the destruction of Donald Trump is part of this. This seems, at least it plays out in my mind, as all Great Reset,
Starting point is 01:15:43 ESG, you'll own. own nothing in seven years and you'll like it. I mean, when, when you actually say that goal out loud that by 2030, you'll own nothing and you'll like it, that people won't give their stuff up in seven years. You have to impoverish them. That's right. And, you know, I did the math for Secretary Buttigigigig in our transportation committee and explained to him that the in mathematical engineering terms that the grid can't handle their electric car goals that Biden signed an executive order to meet. And what I came to realize, Glenn, they don't want you to drive an electric car. They don't want you to drive.
Starting point is 01:16:25 I know. That's why they're unconcerned about the lack of capability of the grid to power all these electric cars. There's actually no plan for that. They would, I mean, the laptop class has no problem with this because they can stay at home. as long as they can go on vacation on a jet plane. But for rural America, we have to get in a car and drive to work. This is going to be crippling. And the way they're trying to achieve it, some of them occasionally commit candor.
Starting point is 01:16:52 Cander is an offense in Washington, D.C., but they occasionally commit candor, and they say they want $10 gallon gasoline. I live in a small town of about 400 people in the summer in Idaho. at our ranch. It takes me 45 minutes to get to the grocery store. How will these electric cars work for people who cannot afford them or we don't have the electricity? The entire center of the country breaks down. It does break down and you just can't afford them. I mean, look, I've got an electric car. I've had it for eight years, actually almost 10 years. It wasn't cheap. I should have bought stock in the company instead of buying the car because now the car's worth the third of what I've paid and I'd be multimillionaire if I'd bought stock instead of the car. But anyways, that notwithstanding, you can't force people into these decisions and subsidizing $50,000 cars is not taking care of the middle class. That's the joke about the, I call it the Inflation Enhancement Act. They are doubling down on a Green New Deal.
Starting point is 01:18:11 No. Which is what has contributed to inflation in the transportation sector, the energy sector. Yeah. The ESG, like you said. All of it. All of it. One last question. We're talking to Thomas Massey from Kentucky.
Starting point is 01:18:29 Do you think that the action last night will finally be something that we could get the Republicans together and they can all go, we're dealing with a different kind of party here? This is not the Democratic Party. This is a Marxist, reckless party. And we are going to hold them accountable for their actions. I would hope so. And here's how we do it. If the listeners want a roadmap, we're going to be, we're not going to be in the White House, but we're going to be in the majority.
Starting point is 01:18:59 And we write the spending bills. And we have to defund this activity. Yep. It's the only lever we have. People say, well, if you do this, Joe Biden won't sign the bill. I guarantee you Joe Biden is going to sign the spending bill. Every president since the beginning of this country has signed the spending bill Congress sent them. It may shut down a week or two or even a month, but they eventually signed the bill.
Starting point is 01:19:23 So there's one bill, and it should actually be separate bills. Yeah. There's supposed to be 12 separate bills, and that's what we should do. There's 12 bills the president will sign, whether it's part of an omnibus or separately. And that's where we do our work in November. Congress needs to take the purse strings back and cut the funding for, I would start with the IRS. Thank you so much. I appreciate it, Thomas Massey.
Starting point is 01:19:50 But in a close second would be the, well, I just defund all of them. Anyway, Patriot Mobile, if the World's Economic Forum has anything to say about it, there is going to come a glorious day in the not too distant future when you don't have to pay a cell phone bill anymore. Great. Well, I mean, you won't have a cell phone. but, you know, or anything else for that matter. But you'll like it. You'll like it.
Starting point is 01:20:12 In the meantime, when you do have to pay that phone bill and you have a phone, uh, stop getting kicked in the teeth. Getting kicked in the teeth with all of the additional fees and how expensive it is, but also getting kicked in the teeth because some part of your bill goes to leftist causes. If you're with one of the big mobile companies, not so with Patriot Mobile. I want you to check them out. I can't recommend them highly enough. I am on Patriot Mobile.
Starting point is 01:20:37 Patriotmobile.com slash back or call 972 Patriot. I actually bought a phone just so I could be on Patriot mobile because I believe in these people and what they're doing. 972 Patriot, 972 Patriot or Patriotmobile.com slash back. That's Patriotmobile.com slash back. Glenn Beck. Join the conversation 888-727 B-E-C. Do you remember when we first, I think, went into Afghanistan and who, We named it. It was a really great name for an operation, but it was like, you know, Operation Crusade or something like that.
Starting point is 01:21:31 It was something that Muslims would have found offensive. And everybody went crazy. Don't say that. Don't say that. That'll just inflame the situation. So we didn't. We have a president who is telling us that the most dangerous terrorists are Trump supporters. and you just went in and busted down the door of the house.
Starting point is 01:21:57 You went in on a raid, which was unnecessary for apparently very little. What president would think that was a good idea? No, no, no. Let me go to this. What attorney general wouldn't at least call the president and say, we're going to do this, but I want to give you a heads up because it's controversial. No one's ever done it before. I don't buy this story from them one bit, one iota.
Starting point is 01:22:25 What's their end game other than to inflame the right? They want you to react. Do not. More in a minute. This is the Glenn Back program. Our sponsor is Bilt Bar. In the next 47, 48 minutes, I am going to share something with you that, You know, you always know when it's something you're supposed to do because you're like, I don't want to do that. No. No, I don't want to do that.
Starting point is 01:25:04 I'm going to do that. I'm going to give you a message that I think I need to hear, at least, on a day like today, when America has deeply changed. I don't care who you voted for. I don't care who you think is right or wrong. We deeply and dramatically changed yesterday. So what is it that we're fighting for? What is it that we're trying to do?
Starting point is 01:25:34 What? Who are we even? That answer in 60 seconds. I don't doubt that we are in a war of ideas with the left and the winners of that war. We'll determine whether this nation stands or falls. I think it is fair to say, as I said earlier today, that I believe now this is the official beginning of the end. We are in the last chapter and how we behave from here on out is going to decide whether America the experiment is over or if it renews itself. It is that
Starting point is 01:26:18 clear. This is where we are. One of the things that we have to do if we want to survive is make sure our children have history. Gosh, I, history is so important. Maybe we'll talk about it tomorrow. There is a new book out from the Tuttle Twins. It's America's History, 1215, 1776. Please get this book.
Starting point is 01:26:50 They've a fantastic offer for you and your kids. It includes an audiobook version and workbooks. But hurry, because it's not going to last much longer. It's America's history. is a great history book that is not like a, it's just not a bad, you know, progressive education, memorize these dates and names. It's not that. It's America's story. You can preview a free sample chapter. Just go to tuttle twinsbeck.com. Tuttle twinsbeck.com. As I drive in every day, I try to think, what is it you want me to?
Starting point is 01:27:40 to say. What is it I should say today? And as I was driving in, the song came to mine. And I thought I was just supposed to share this song with you. But as it played, as I was getting ready for the show, I realized it's more than just that. It is a question we have to answer. Why is a question we have to answer? did we come here in the first place? Why did we come here? What are we doing here? Why would people explore the West? Why would people risk their lives to go in the middle of the wilderness, a middle of the prairies, and they would get in their wagons, and they would just go? Why? It certainly wasn't safe. And the average person,
Starting point is 01:28:59 you'll never convince me that a good majority, even, even 20% just did it because they wanted to go rape the land and the indigenous people. That's not who we are. The Indian wars were just that, the Indian wars,
Starting point is 01:29:20 and who caused those problems, usually. Who gets us into war? We're looking at a global war right now. Possibility of a global war with Russia and China. Did you do that? Because I didn't do that. I didn't want a war with China. I don't want a war in Ukraine.
Starting point is 01:29:33 I don't want one with Russia. I think that's insanity. Yet we are somehow or another paying for it right now. Did you do that? No. The people in Washington did that. They're not a reflection of us. And they aren't in the worst times of America.
Starting point is 01:29:56 When a government forgets that it was instituted among men to protect the rights given to her citizens by an almighty God, they always go wrong. And we have, I fear, gotten much worse. Not since the Civil War has half our country gone mad with the idea of power over another group of human beings. And that's really, truly what we're looking at. The other group, you can do it when you believe the other group is somehow less intelligent or because of the color of their skin or they deserve it or in the most outrageous case, they're better off, you know, being shackled by us because we know what's better than they do. We know what's best for them. They just don't get it. That's what we're doing. That's what we're fighting over right now. Do you have
Starting point is 01:31:06 the right to run my life. It brings me back to the question, why did we come here in the first place? And why did people explore and risk their lives and their family to come here? This is the stanza I want you to hear in liberating strife, who more than self, their country loved and mercy more than life. Do those people exist? Is anyone striving to be that person? We lose everything in this song and everything that you might feel stirring inside of yourself.
Starting point is 01:32:07 Hopefully it's not dead. We lose all of it if we don't strive to be those people. The United States, in order to form a more perfect, Union. To establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity. Do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. Your forgiveness and your advice. Dear Lord, forgive us for what.
Starting point is 01:34:18 what we have done, grant us a new beginning, grant us peace, grant us vision beyond the years. Without you, Lord, we've tried and we just keep coming up short. Please bring peace to our hearts and to our country. We ask for these blessings, Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. More in a minute. If someone showed you a list of all the places on the internet,
Starting point is 01:35:48 your personal information goes every single day. You probably would freak out. I suspect I would. Truly off the grid is almost impossible in our tech-dependent world. And the internet is filled with cyber thieves. It's important to understand how cybercrime and identity theft are affecting all of our lives. We do everything online right now. There is coming a time where there will be no privacy.
Starting point is 01:36:16 There will be nothing unknown. Right now, we need ways to protect ourselves. And I would recommend LifeLock. Nobody can prevent all identity theft, monitor all transactions at all businesses. But the one that I think is the best out there is LifeLock by Norton. Join now, save up to 25% off your first year with promo code back, call 1-800 LifeLock. Or head to LifeLock.com. Use the promo code back for 25% off.
Starting point is 01:36:49 Do it now. LifeLock.com. 10 seconds, station ID. So what is the most important thing I could share with you today? That was my question. What do you need to hear? Why we came here in the first place? Nobody risks their life in their family's life.
Starting point is 01:37:32 For what? Just a piece of land? See, that's what people will say, we came here for the land. No, we didn't. We didn't come here for the gold. Some did. And that always leads to perversion and death. people came here not just to be free to worship,
Starting point is 01:37:54 but they also came for a chance. This was the only place in the world that you, the average person, could own your own stuff. All these people were coming from all over the world with all kinds of rules from the elites that knew better. You can't swim. You can't swim in the world.
Starting point is 01:38:18 river. Why? Because I say you can't. Okay, well, I have an invention and maybe I can get rich off it. No, it's mine. You invented it on my land. You work for me. It's mine. Well, can I buy someone? No. This was the only place you could own yourself, your ideas, your own land and chart of future. That is what got people in. Have you ever? Have you ever? driven across this country? Just think about the Missouri River or the Mississippi River. Driving over that on a bridge, just driving across this country going 70 miles an hour the whole time. It's enormous. It's insane to even drive it now. That's why everybody flies. Imagine doing that at about three miles an hour with your kids in the back of your covered wagon, if that, and you're bringing
Starting point is 01:39:26 your milk cow along, and you don't have a bridge to cross those rivers. And by the way, if you're not robbed and raped by some bad cowboy, you could get, you could get hatcheted and scalped or brought into slavery by the Native Americans. Wow, that doesn't sound like something I'm signing up for. But honey, we'll be able to be ourselves. We'll have control of our own life. We will have a space we can call ours. That's why we came here.
Starting point is 01:40:13 and this experiment that what we do in the next few months will decide whether this grand experiment of whether or not men can rule themselves or they must be ruled over. That grand, that's the experiment. depending on what we do right now will mean that experiment has a new life or it is over. We are not by any means guiltless.
Starting point is 01:40:59 We are not by any means a nation that only does good. We're not. But that's what is unique. It was the first in the world. And the world is headed back to serfdom. with elites controlling every aspect of everything, and they are telling you you will own nothing and be happy.
Starting point is 01:41:32 I'm sorry. Maybe some will. But I won't be. You might be. That's good for you to choose that then. That's good. But you're taking away the right for everyone else to choose something differently. Why? Because you think shackling me to your truth is best for me because you know better than me.
Starting point is 01:42:06 Maybe you do, but we're not going to be friends. We'll be, I'll be a slave to you. In one form or another, I'm a slave to your ideals and your ideas. See, this is why we put the Constitution together. It's really, It's not complex. Seven articles. And it, it delineates the national frame of government. It carves it out, a thin air. This is what we're going to do. The first three articles are about separation of powers.
Starting point is 01:42:51 Why did they have the separation of powers? They put the separation of powers in because they knew people. This document does not empower rich people. it empowers the nobody's. It says we're going to create a government, but we're going to put so many checks and balances in here. And we know that people with power get greedy. We know when you put people in power,
Starting point is 01:43:23 they can go corrupt easily. And with a lot of power, they'll go very corrupt. So we want to have all three of these brand. that are separated. We're going to have a legislative. We're going to have in the legislative. We're going to have two houses. We're going to have one that are the closest to the people, the House of Representatives. And they're going to have to be voted in every two years. Because in two years, they can do a lot of damage. So we're going to give them a really short leash so you can pull that person out at any time. No, you're not listening to us.
Starting point is 01:44:04 and because they're so close to the people and can be voted out in a heartbeat, we're going to give them the purse strings because the purse, that's full of our money. And if we want people to stop doing something, the first thing you do is shut the money off. Oh, really? You're going to go to college and you're just going to drink and party and you're not going to learn anything? Yeah, guess what Daddy's doing? He's closing his wallet. That's our Congress.
Starting point is 01:44:41 Then we have a Senate that is supposed to represent each state, not the country, but each state. What is it that you are supposed to know today from me? What is it you're supposed to hear? I think it's our founding documents. I'll continue in a minute. Ls Consumer Access.org. Sometimes late at night. If you're like me, it was last night.
Starting point is 01:45:33 Everybody else in the house is going to sleep, and I cannot sleep. I toss and turn. I worry about the future. I worry. Have I done this? Have I done this? How's the family going to handle this?
Starting point is 01:45:50 I don't think I'm alone in that. The good news is American financing is here to help you if you're worried about your finances. And I'm worried about mine. The average person has got to be freaking out about theirs. I worry so much about you. American financing has been helping people out like you to get where they need to be. They could help your family, so please call them.
Starting point is 01:46:16 American financing at 800, 906 2440. American financing 800 906 2440 or go to Americanfinancing. That's Americanfinancing.net. subscribe to Blaze TV at BlazTV.com slash Glenn. The promo code is Glenn for $10 off your subscription to Blaze TV. I want to urge you to read the Declaration of Independence today. And read it all, not just the highlights, read it all. Read what are called the usurpations, all the things the king did before they said,
Starting point is 01:47:05 okay, we got to break away. If you are feeling like, oh, we've taken so much, read the usurpations. our founders went through a lot more than what we have gone through. And we have not, we have an election in November. I say, you get everybody that has ever said anything like, I kind of like freedom. Get them to the polls because this is it. And without an election, you only have civil war. And that is not going to be anyone's friend.
Starting point is 01:47:47 You know, the Bill of Rights is broken up into three sections. First one is a safeguard for your liberty, for the individual's liberty. It's the first three amendments. And it's a shackle on the government. It says, you can't do these things. Can't violate. Then it's the safeguards of justice, the guardians, that stand by to make sure if they try to accuse you of something, that it's done fairly and correctly. Now, people can go bad and they have.
Starting point is 01:48:26 They have gone bad. And governments have been corrupt and police forces have been corrupt. But it's a more perfect. We strive to build a more perfect union. So that means we can never stop trying to get better. We're going to ebb and flow. We're going to get good and bad. The last time we had these kinds of times was the McCarthy era.
Starting point is 01:48:53 Don't take that from me. Take that from liberal professor, a guy who voted for Joe Biden. He said it to me about an hour ago, Alan Dershowitz. But look at what Alan Dershowitz, the price he is paying now for standing on principle. He is paying an enormous price. price. His friends have abandoned him. He's no longer, he's no longer respected in half the country. And half the country that used to hate him now loves him. That's insanity. The safeguards of justice, amendments four, five, six, seven, and eight, those are the things that we're violating now with
Starting point is 01:49:39 Donald Trump. Because all of that, the Fourth Amendment, is all about search and seizure. You can't be frisked by a police officer just because. You can't have a search or seizure of stuff from your property by government officials without a few things happening. Can't search your car. Can't just take things. See, these are the things that are being violated. And they're being violated because someone in the government is so desperate to make this man into a criminal. And you know because you listen to me.
Starting point is 01:50:22 When they first started going after Donald Trump for the Russia collusion, I said to you, there's a chance. I don't know. But there's a chance. And it should be looked into. Well, it turned out not to be true. And my staff will even tell you, I told them when we started our investigation, I want you to turn. over every single stone. And we did. And we did find corruption. But it was corruption coming from Clinton and Biden. I had no idea we would find that. I thought we would find stuff on Donald Trump.
Starting point is 01:51:07 We didn't. And neither did the rest of the media. And because they can't give him a fair trial, they'll try him in the public. That's what yesterday was about. They're not going to find anything. They're not going to apologize. They won't even clear his name. You watch. You watch. It's just to stigmatize.
Starting point is 01:51:31 How many times are they going to do this? They haven't been able to find all the stuff they said before, so they try him in the court of public opinion. Then, when that turns out, they try him for something else. Now we're back to, I guess, Russia and secret documents. Does double jeopardy even apply? No, because it's. the court of public opinion.
Starting point is 01:51:55 And this is the way the government starts wars. This is how you start saying, we got to get them Indians. And because we are so angry and we fear the same thing. Have you noticed? They scream about fascism. Now, I think there is 10 to 20% of the left, not of the left, 100% of the left, and about 10 or 20% of Democrats that actually know what they're doing. The rest are just like, this is crazy.
Starting point is 01:52:31 This is crazy. And I mean, crazy because they look at us and say they're crazy. And they say that because they're not hearing us. We're not talking to each other. We're not actually. Look, you cannot hate somebody when you get to know their story. And I'm going to put a caveat on that. I think Hitler.
Starting point is 01:52:50 I think I could hear the Hitler story and still hate him. But the average person, once you get to know them and you hear, how did you arrive at that conclusion? Why are you feeling that way? And you get a chance to talk, not to accuse, not trying to win, but actually talk. Things change. But is anyone willing to do that now? most likely not because we both think the other is a fascist. I think there's pretty good evidence that a group of people that are building an army of IRS agents
Starting point is 01:53:32 might be headed towards the fascist direction, the one that violates like they did yesterday in Mar-a-Lago, a principle that we have had forever. This is, have we not had dirty presidents before? Have we never had a corrupt official in government before? Of course we have. Of course we have. Some of the most corrupt presidents, you wouldn't believe how corrupt they were. Did we ever go in and search and seize things in their homes after they were out while they were still being active and might run?
Starting point is 01:54:14 for president again? Never. Never. And if you did, you better have a damn good reason for doing it. If they find a dead body or they find some secret spy ring that, you know, Trump is calling into Russia with, okay. But if it's some documents, uh, no, I, I think to be a law, to be a, to be a, country, we have to have laws that are not of men, a country of laws, not of men. They should have been applied equally.
Starting point is 01:55:02 And I'm not saying, oh, yeah, but look what they did. I'm saying, no, look what's being passed up. You've been a witch hunt of this man. and this is why it's so important. They've done a witch hunt on this man. While left evidence, video evidence of crack and hooker and backroom deals, they deny any of that. The system does.
Starting point is 01:55:38 And yet they are trying to destroy this guy. And so they will do whatever they have to do. You're already seeing the beginning of this in your life. When they can't use the system, to put you in jail. That's why it's coming through the IRS, I guarantee you. When they can't get you to tow the line and you haven't committed any crimes, because they'll put you in jail.
Starting point is 01:56:09 But they can't do that. Overwhelm the system if they're trying to put everybody in jail. So they take the first step, and that is, scare the hell out of you. Make sure you know you're going to lose all your friends. You're going to lose your prestige. You might lose your job. You'll lose your kids. Might be pariahs in schools.
Starting point is 01:56:30 I don't want to cause any problems for my kids. Good. Then just behave. Shut your mouth. They're doing this. That is what dictators do. And then they get most of the people to shut up because they're afraid. And then they take the final people out, the people who are like, you know what?
Starting point is 01:56:54 I ain't sitting down. Those people are either disappeared, shut up, put in jail. Something happens to those people. Nelson Mandela. Dietrich Bonhofer. We have to know our rights. We have to know what we're fighting for. And we have to fight at the ballot box, November.
Starting point is 01:57:34 We are so close. We are so close. And they are going to do everything they can. to get you so mad you're blind with rage. I'm telling you the most effective weapon, and this is why they're doing it is the ballot box. They're trying to get you to strike back before the November election. Vote their asses out.
Starting point is 01:58:06 Put people of character in, that when they say they'll protect and defend the Constitution, they'll actually do it. This could be a landslide election. I've tried to figure it out in the last 24 hours. What is the end game here? What do you think you're going to get by doing this? Only thing I can think of is they're trying to poke a bear.
Starting point is 01:58:41 Meditate on the teachings of Jesus. Meditate on the teachings of Martin Luther King. Meditate on Gandhi. Reed Bonhofer, I will see you in November at the polls. Back in a minute. So we've talked about a lot of things. But the fundamentals of America are either going to change and they're going to change wildly. Or they're going to change by going back to principles.
Starting point is 01:59:18 Either way, gold and silver. would be steady. Gold will go up if we go back to principles that actually mean something.
