Hello, America. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. You know, it is really funny. The Senate last night approved funding for most of DHS. they approved the funding for the Coast Guard and FEMA just not ice, just not ice. Oh and Sisa is being funded again. So everything is going and you know it's really funny. DHS, sorry. You know what's really funny is all it took was the president saying you're worthless
Starting point is 00:03:11 I'm going to do it myself and then all of a sudden they found the spine to come to a a bill that they could both pass and you know what it really was it wasn't just Donald Trump, it was the fact that ICE is winning the PR battle. Having ICE as TSA was the smartest thing Donald Trump could have done because wait until I show you some of the stuff that is going on around the country. The Democrats, I kind of wish they would have been dumb enough to continue this going because they were dismantling all of their arguments on ice with the average person. Also, there is a new study out from Ryan Morrow, who has tracked and found where the war arguments are coming from on social media. It is not good. It is not good. This goes to something
Starting point is 00:04:08 that I talked about several years ago, maybe five or ten years ago. I said there's going to come a time because of social media and because of AI, it's going to be so good. It will be the loss of free will. We have just approached the doorstep of that moment. And I'm going to share that with you in just a minute. Stand by. First, let me tell you about rush tax. May come as a surprise to you, but the IRS is not your friend. Nah. You know, they believe what they're owed, they will collect. the penalties, the interest. They don't forgive. They don't forget. And so when you have not filed a return, it's not filed properly, you know, the balance doesn't get paid, whatever it is. They'll send you a letter. And then when that letter sits there too long, they just start, it's like a taxi cab, a very expensive
Starting point is 00:05:03 taxi cab with guns and prison. This is where Rush Tax Tax comes in. They work with people who have back taxes, unfiled returns, issues with the IRS. They step in. and they help find a plan to get you back into compliance, reduce what you owe when possible, and start moving forward again. When it comes to the IRS, hoping sort of, you know, doesn't work. You know, you're not going to hope your way out of this situation. Having the right people in your corner will. Mention my name.
Starting point is 00:05:31 Rush will provide a free IRS transcript investigation, a service other firms typically charge about $500 for, even without confirming they can help you. Rush is the opposite. They give it to you free, and they'll only take your case if they know they can help. you and save you money. Rush tax attorneys. Get one now and protect yourself. 877-554. Rush. 877-554-877-554-7874 or go to rushtax resolution.com. Okay. Well, I think it's interesting that suddenly they found, they found it within themselves, that they could finally go. You know what? I think, yes, what we're going to do is we're going to fund
Starting point is 00:06:14 DHS. We're going to end the DHS after 42 days. All kinds of pressure. They didn't care about you. They did not care about you having to stand in line. You were a prop. They didn't care about the planes that you have missed or whatever has happened in your life because they shut TSA down. They shut DHS down. They didn't care about that. Donald Trump said, you know what, I'm going to find a way to do it. myself and all of a sudden they found the will. But that's not all. I want to play a few pieces of audio here for you that kind of show exactly really what happened. Here is, let's cut, let me do the VO Ice Saves Boy at JFK Airport. Let me show you some video. This is of ICE. ICE sees this one-year-old boy in line,
Starting point is 00:07:18 gone unresponsive, he's not breathing, waiting in line at JFK Airport, and one of the ICE officers steps into action, gives him the Heimlich, and saves this one-year-old's life. That's kind of a big deal. It's funny, I didn't see CNN lead with that. Why wouldn't you leave?
Starting point is 00:07:38 That is like a really good news story. That is government doing the right thing. That's a nice agent just being a literal lifesaver. Do they cover that? Probably not. Now, let me show you this. Cut eight, please. This is from the Daily Wire.
Starting point is 00:08:01 We have cut eight. Here are, here's a nice member handing out bottled water to people who are standing in line. Huh. You know what this is? the greatest PR move I've ever seen. And it was affecting normal people. Cut nine. Listen to this guy.
Starting point is 00:08:29 You got vodka in there? I wish. I wish. Thank you for your service. Thank you for your service. Thank you for the service. You're happy with ice? Yes.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Okay. I like that. I'm happy for the ice. Thank you. Shaking the hand. I don't know if you hear that because I'm not hearing anything, Sarah. On my end. But a man with broken English coming up, getting water.
Starting point is 00:08:46 and thanking ICE. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for doing what you're doing for the lines here at the airport. That's why they changed last night because they knew they were going to lose and it was going to happen quickly.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Honestly, because of Donald Trump and Tom Homan. I think these guys saw what's coming. I mean, Donald Trump is a showman. He knows. He knows. He knows what's effective, what's not effective. And so suddenly, Last night they approved. So hopefully the lines at the airport will be fixed really, really soon.
Starting point is 00:09:22 Now, I told you in the past that, and it sounded nuts when I said it. I said the algorithms are going to get so good and AI is going to get so good. Social media is going to be everywhere when agents start operating, AI agents, and we are at the very beginning of this, okay? when people understand how to navigate all of this stuff and when AI is really souped up, you are going to lose your free will. And now that sounds crazy. But it will be so good.
Starting point is 00:10:03 You will be shaped constantly 24-7 that you will not know, did I really make that decision or was that decision shaped for me on me slowly, piece by piece. Now I'm hearing an echo, Sarah. Am I, have I been shaped? Or did I come to this conclusion myself? Well, let me give you the latest. With the war underway, your phone is probably the biggest problem. Your phone is probably the thing that is going to be making decisions for you. Over half of the viral post, if you've been looking, over a thousand viral English language posts about the war in Iran, between February 28th and March 13th, shows something I think is a little unsettling. Over half of these posts, 559 of them, originated outside of the United States.
Starting point is 00:11:09 And among the top 100 most viral post, 40, came from foreign sources. So 40% of what you're seeing is from outside the United States. And they're not fringe posts. Each one had at least 2,500 shares. These are the messages. And of the most powerful, 40% of them are coming outside. And what are they saying? So a sample of just random of 150 of the viral posts showed 72% of them were negative.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Only 27 were positive, 27%. The rest are neutral. but when you isolate the foreign posts, oh, that's when it becomes distorted. Only 10% were positive, 64% were negative. The rest were just noise. These 559 foreign origin posts generated over 650 million views, nearly 22 million interactions. That's not a conversation. That is, that's saturation.
Starting point is 00:12:11 the content is not staying foreign. Here's what happened. US-based accounts are taking these foreign messages and then repeating and amplifying it and quoting hostile foreign sources directly, unknowingly carrying the message even further. That's not, that's new. That's new.
Starting point is 00:12:40 This is foreign. propaganda in our own homes. And for the very first time social media platforms, especially X, are automatically translating foreign language posts into English. That means the content created anywhere in the world is now instantly injected into American discourse without context, without friction, without warning. You have no idea where it's coming from. So what you're seeing is coming at you from three different directions at once.
Starting point is 00:13:10 First, American accounts, 72% of the viral post were negative. And they often were echoing what the foreign posts were saying. Second, four and 40% of these were foreign accounts posting in English designed to look domestic. But nearly two thirds of those were negative. Remember, in English, designed to look like they came from America. Who does that? Third, foreign language posts automatically translated and fed directly into your timeline. Three streams, one effect, and that is distortion and convincing you that this is everywhere.
Starting point is 00:13:50 So what were the narratives? What were the dominant narratives being pushed? There were two. Can you guess what they were? The first one was the claim about the Zionist conspiracy. that Zionists were manipulating President Trump into launching military action in Operation Epic Fury. So the first one out of the 40 posts and the main influence was it's Israel's fault. So do you believe that or were you convinced of that because you saw all of these posts that you had no idea
Starting point is 00:14:35 were foreign posts trying to look like they were just you. The second one claims it's wagged the dog, that it's meant to divert attention from the Epstein-related scandals and falling approval ratings. Those were the two. They're not organic. These were coordinated themes. Just 10 accounts, 10, were responsible for 32% of all.
Starting point is 00:15:05 views in this entire data set. The top 20 accounts accounted for 43%. So you have 10 accounts. Hell, just say 50 accounts, 50 accounts, shaping nearly what half of what millions upon millions are seeing. Wow. That's pretty remarkable. If you are Younger, you have never lived outside of social media. You've never lived that. These are not neutral observers. They're participants, and they are very, very effective. But what they are creating is not real.
Starting point is 00:16:01 It feels like it, but it's not real. It's a digital mirage. It is propaganda. 81% of MAGA Republicans support Operation Epic Fureuror. 61% of non-Maga Republicans supported. A plurality of Americans overall supported. 66% believe Iran poses a serious threat to national security. Wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:16:26 Wait a minute. Those are the real numbers. But you go online, it doesn't feel like that, does it? Huh. That's really a consensus, at least much more than you do. guess by reading things online. What you're seeing on social media is not reflection. It's construction. It's bizarre a world where the loudest, most extreme, most inflammatory voices are amplified until they appear to be the majority. If you're young, you've never lived out of
Starting point is 00:16:59 this system. You may not even realize it is happening, but that's what's happening. You just assume this is reality. It is not reality. And The future of public opinion of this country, of the West, is not going to be decided only by our elections or policy debates. It's going to be decided by what dominates our timelines. This is the danger of social media. If one side, any side, gains control of the digital ecosystem, it becomes strategically decisive in deciding things like, do we go to war or not? Do we like ice or not? Information is no longer trustworthy when we're making battlefield decisions.
Starting point is 00:17:55 The battlefield is social media. And most people don't even know that they are being shaped every day. They have no idea. Did you have any idea? I mean, I suspected, but you have no idea that you are being shaped. shaped. You couple this with something else that we've been talking about, and you've got a real problem. Western world, you're in trouble. I'll give you that here in just a second. First, let me tell you about my Patriot Supply. My Patriot Supply is the country's largest preparedness
Starting point is 00:18:25 company, and you know, you might just need them now more than ever because there was a time when people feel like, you know, we felt like we could rely on some things around us, but I mean, I don't know. Does anybody have anything under control? That confidence has taken a real hit, And whether it's supply issues, mixed messages, or just the feeling that things aren't as stable as they used to be, more people are starting to realize that waiting on someone else to fix a problem is not a plan. That's why self-reliance matters. And my patriot supply has been there. They've helped me build my kit for forever.
Starting point is 00:18:58 I've had them forever. Reliable meals when you need them. It's not about overreacting. It's not about panic. It's just making sure that, you know, you're prepared because life is unpredictable. Now is the time. I want you to go to prepare with glen.com. You'll find a limited time special offer
Starting point is 00:19:14 that'll help you get ready for whatever is coming your way. It's prepare with glen.com. Get their preparedness special right now. Prepare with glen.com. 10 seconds. Station ID. All right. So by the way, that is an exclusive that can be found at glenbeck.com right now,
Starting point is 00:19:44 glenbeck.com. And there's something else that if you're a torch member, we are releasing today. Let me see if I can get to the, website. The easiest way to find it is stop theconquest.com. It is, if you're a torch member, you get an awful lot there today. Stop the conquest. Let me get it and pull it up. You will see the jihad within bonus content. The jihad from within. I don't know if you've noticed this, but thank God people are starting to talk about all the things that are going wrong because we are
Starting point is 00:20:18 bearing our heads in the sand on what's happening with with Islamists. So we did this special last week. It's called the, um, the jihad from within or the, the blueprint for our own destruction. Um, and we had several guests on there, but they were edited for the show to fit an hour, an hour and a half. And we have released all of the raw interviews. So if you want to go deeper, there's about two hours of extra video content now from all of the experts answering all of the questions that we have. But more importantly, I think, is the Islamist blueprint. We have the official documents guide right now. And it is how many pages, like 30 some pages? It is really good. It does not have my name on it anywhere. So you can pass it to your friends. But it has all of the
Starting point is 00:21:14 documents. It lays out the entire story, everything that we talked about in the special, and it provides all of the documentation. So I have always said, you don't trust me. Please don't trust me. Please do your own homework. This is a guide that you can have in your home and you can share. I invite you, print it, share, it's free. Just take it off. I mean, you have to be a torch subscriber at this point, but take it, copy it, spread it around to as many people as you possibly can and get this word out. It is the blueprint of our own destruction. And all of the information that you need, all of the original documents, all of the proof that this is going on in their own words and in their own documents is now available online
Starting point is 00:22:04 at stoptheconquest.com. Stoptheconquest.com. It is so vitally important. I was speaking in in West Palm last night and somebody asked me, what is the most pressing issue? And that is a hard question to answer. I mean, what is the most pressing issue right now? There's so many things. I'm torn between two. One, the jihad from within.
Starting point is 00:22:38 The takeover. This, I believe, is the final battle. This is the battle to end all battles. This is a war. that started, you know, millennia ago, that we're going to have, either we're going to fight or our children or fight if we don't stop it right now. And it is evil, and it is trying to destroy the entire West and make a global caliphate. Now that sounds crazy.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Get the bonus content. Read it for yourself. Watch the special for yourself. You will understand what we face. The other problem that I'm torn between the two is, apathy. How many Americans are just like, yeah, maybe, maybe. All right, let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour. It's the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. There is a difference between hearing about suffering and knowing exactly where you stand when you see it,
Starting point is 00:23:36 because it's easy to agree with something in theory and say, yeah, that matters, you know, or somebody should help, but it's a different thing to step into that need in a real tangible way and do it. Right now, there are Jewish men and women, many of them elderly, living in poverty, right in the nation of Israel, struggling to get by. Okay, that happens a lot of places. But these are communities that need security simply to live their daily lives. And it's also a place where the sirens are going off multiple times a day. And these people can't get out. They can't buy food. And the people who usually bring them food can't get to them. So we have these great Christians, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
Starting point is 00:24:17 on the ground right now, providing food and shelter and protective equipment, everything. You want to get involved? Would you make a donation right now? Get involved. IFCJ.org. You can make a $45 gift and it will be rushed to people who really need it.
Starting point is 00:24:35 IFCJ.org. This is insane. We found out, I think it was last week, there is a war on motherhood by the CIA. Newly released CIA documents reveal the Biden administration identified motherhood and homemaking as an indicator of white, racially, and ethnically motivated violent extremism. The intelligence assessment reveals top to bottom bias at the CIA under Biden.
Starting point is 00:25:36 This is absolutely terrifying, terrifying. How did we get to this place? And why does it seem no one in America cares? Gene Hamilton, he cares. He's with America's first legal. He's the president and co-founder. Gene, can you tell me and take us through some of these documents and what is being done?
Starting point is 00:26:05 Well, thanks for having me on. You raise very important points. It is absolutely insane that the United States government, in particular, the intelligence community, would issue any kind of report that remotely touches anything like motherhood or traditional roles of marriage and homemaking is being indicators of propensities to engage in any, kind of terroristic or violent conduct or extremism of any kind.
Starting point is 00:26:39 But what you have to do, Gwen, is you have to go back and you have to think. All right. No, actually is a moment of clarity here. Of course, thank you to the Trump administration for withdrawing this product. It was an actual CIA document that they published and that they have since withdrawn because it didn't meet their standards. But you, then you have to think, well, now how is it? Something like this comes to be.
Starting point is 00:27:04 And I think that you and I, in your audience at home, all know that it's not all patriots working in the intelligence community. Many of them are, most of them are, I would suspect. But there are a lot of people who get hired out of Ivy League schools, out of elite worldviews, and who think that Netflix movies are reality. And if you look at this product, or if you look at some of the, other products that they've published, they seem to espouse viewpoints that you would see on some crazy Netflix-produced movie that views white people or views traditional roles of marriage or motherhood as indicators of some kind of threat to our national security, and that, in fact,
Starting point is 00:27:52 is insane. So I look at this, and I think it is so insane. I have, I have not. I have no, you know, I have no inside knowledge of what everybody is tracking and things. But I, I'm, you know, not a casual observer of society and life in America. And the only thing I can think of as a motive is she who rocks the cradle rules the world. You've got to destroy the family. That is one of the stated, from the left, one of the stated goals destroy the traditional family. So you mark moms. You also believe in global warming.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Mark Mom, stop having babies. I mean, this is so insidious. But to be fair, is there anything that you can find in this document that shows, well, that was, I could see how they read it this way. I can see how they took this information and said, maybe that's leading to extremism. I'm being way over gracious, but I have to ask. Anything? You have to ask. You have to ask.
Starting point is 00:28:59 I don't think so. I mean, and especially when you consider this in the context of what other documents were produced during the Biden administration, in public documents and of course documents that were classified have subsequently been declassified. But remember, they issued in the Biden administration a domestic security strategy that identified conservative Americans, identified all kinds of traditional values as being threats to our domestic security. The Biden administration's entire team, their apparatus, viewed traditional Americans, white Americans or conservative Americans, military veterans, as the greatest potential threats to the security of the United States. I mean, it was that the absolute ludicrousness of this just can't be, can't be overstated. I mean, it's, it's wild that that was their worldview. And they created products. And from those products derive action.
Starting point is 00:29:58 And from that action comes investigations and retribution campaigns that played out all across the country against various Americans. And so this is not just something that the American people should shrug their shoulders out and say, well, you know, that sounds a little silly. Silly Democrats shouldn't do that again. No. This is real dangerous stuff. And they have to realize that this is what. is going to happen again if they get in power again. They will do this type of product again,
Starting point is 00:30:31 and we will all suffer the consequences. I have to tell you, I am convinced that our security apparatus is a danger to the Republic. It's absolutely a danger. And you should never feel that way. You should be skeptical, but you should never feel like,
Starting point is 00:30:49 I think they're a danger to the Republic. And the reason why I say that is, you can take this, what you have been calling a product, you can take it out, you can remove it. But what about the people who produced it? What about the people inside the agencies that didn't raise the alarm and say, what the hell are we doing? Right, right. Oh, absolutely. I mean, there has to be top to bottom review of the people who are involved in producing these products, contributing to these products.
Starting point is 00:31:21 and there needs to be consequences for them. Now, of course, it's very difficult for us as average Americans to keep tabs on the employment actions within the intelligence community. I am confident, at least under this administration, that they're doing everything in their power to address it. But as you say, Glenn, though, it is not just this one product. You have to wonder, well, who else was in the agency at the time, who was just okay? with this happening who went along with it will they speak up in the future nick time that there's some radical in in the administration who's wanting to push a a ridiculous product that has no basis in reality will they raise their voice will they speak up because if they didn't before
Starting point is 00:32:10 chances are they're not going to do it again and and again the main point being here this this is this is extraordinarily dangerous the consequences are significant and we all have have to be aware of this as we go forward and we make decisions about things in the fall in particular. Listen to this. The purpose of this document is to focus on women who are supporters or sympathetic to transnational white REMVEs, R-EM-V-E. You know what a REMV is?
Starting point is 00:32:48 It's the group. Go ahead. Yeah. No, I mean, it's just, it's, look, this has ties, it has connections also with some of this, some of this, trans ideology has ties with some of the folks who are engaging in a, and just a modern weaponized war on womanhood, people who don't appreciate and value and support women as God-created individuals who are distinct and unique in their capabilities and want to disliked. distort and change all concepts of gender in our society to, again, you have to look, Glenn, you mentioned earlier, the destruction of the family. The destruction of the family is the one thing that can help liberals and Marxists obtain power because it eliminates that support network.
Starting point is 00:33:40 It eliminates so much. And they will take products like this. They will engage in other activities. They will do all kinds of things to destruct and destroy the family. because that's another way for them to obtain power. Correct. And they're talking about this over in Europe, and that's the way the CIA gets away with it,
Starting point is 00:34:00 but you can guarantee it has been coming here. Remvi is racially and ethnically motivated violent extremists. So a racially and ethnically motivated violent extremists, I would say that there are those who are in BLM that fit that. I would say that there are, I would say that there are Islamists. the Islamist movement absolutely fits that. But then they say the mothers believe that their perception of an idealized white European ethnic identity is under attack from people who embody and support multiculturalism and globalism.
Starting point is 00:34:39 It is under attack. I mean, this is incredible. I mean, this is incredible. They do not actually identify anybody who is a violent extremist, who is attacking those kind of, you know, visions of the future and visions of the past, if you will. They're not going after them, just the people who are saying, wait a minute, I like my country. I like the culture that we have right now. I don't want to become that culture. Why are they the only ones that are in the crosshairs? Well, I mean, look, there's all kinds of reasons that we could get into.
Starting point is 00:35:20 And I think one thing that we can just make clear for everybody, everyone listening here would rightly condemn anyone who wants to engage in any kind of violent extremism on any basis. There's just no place for it. But to connect and to insinuate that just because somebody wants France to remain France is somehow going to be a violent extremist is. is a threat is ridiculous because look, I mean, what are they saying? Should Japan not remain Japan? Should it not have a Japanese character? Should Nigeria not remain Nigeria? And is there a problem with a person desiring for countries to have their own individual unique cultures?
Starting point is 00:36:06 It, again, it comes from this worldview, from these elite institutions. And some of the folks who get behind the creation of some of these products is, They think that it is, in fact, dangerous for someone to think that America, you know, if you're a person who views the world based on merit and appreciates individual humans, regardless of where they came from, but understands that it was founded on Judeo-Christian values by individuals from Western Europe principally, then, you know, the notion that that was actually our history and that's who we are and it's a fact and there's nothing wrong with that continuing fact to to maintain our identity is is just something that they're just not used to dealing
Starting point is 00:37:00 with and we're going to see more and more of this when unless unless we stop these things you cut off but I think you're saying yeah unless we unless we elect the right people I mean I am I don't know about you. I'm sure you feel the same way. Gene, I am for the first time truly terrified of what is coming our way if these elections go and give the power back to the left, because it's not even to the Democrats anymore. The Democrats have been wholly eaten by the left, and they are talking about purges and everything else. It is very, very concerning when you see this was happening under Biden, good God Almighty, what would happen under a Marxist? Yes, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:37:50 Gene, besides the election, is there anything that people should be aware of or do? Look, I think that, again, just with all things in life, Glenn, we all have our own spheres of influence. And one of the most important things is spreading knowledge. This is a product, this particular product we're talking about today, was declassified and withdrawn by the CIA. you know, I guess about a month ago, and it didn't get a whole ton of attention. There are a lot of people in your sphere of influence for the folks at home, your friends, your family,
Starting point is 00:38:27 who have no idea, no knowledge about the existence of this product. And they see things in the headlines, they believe some things, they think that, you know, maybe all the Trump administration is being radical and here they're doing this crazy thing again. And they really need to understand that, no, no. In fact, that's a narrative that's being painted here
Starting point is 00:38:46 that's not accurate. And in fact, on the other hand, look at what these people were doing, the last thing that was in here, amongst everything else that everybody already knows. We need to spread knowledge. We need to make sure that people are aware that these types of products exist. They are real. They are going to happen again. And there is no going back to some kind of moderate Democratic administration is not a likely thing that is going to happen in the future. Thank you so much, Gene Hamilton.
Starting point is 00:39:16 and thank you for being on it. Thanks for all of the work that you and all of your colleagues do every day. I appreciate it. America First legal president and co-founder. You bet, Gene. Just sent you the link to the actual report. It did come out about a month ago. We talked about it at the time.
Starting point is 00:39:33 But I didn't think that people are paying enough attention to it. So wanted to do this. We'll put this interview out. But Ricky, if you could tweet for me, the actual link to the CIA document. It is, again, Nobody's opinion. That's the document. Read it. It is shocking. Read it. And share that with your friends and say, this is what the Biden administration was doing about moms and women. This is extraordinarily dangerous. And everybody needs to be aware. We are entering different territory. All right. Let me tell you about rapid radios. Let's say something serious happened today. Would you be able to reach your family or would you hope that? the phone still works.
Starting point is 00:40:17 You know, I don't know if you remember this, but on September 11th, the phone lines were just overwhelmed. Nothing was coming out of New York. The cell towers were down. But everything else was overwhelmed. You didn't get your call through right away. It was pretty amazing. Are you sure that that's, you know, that you're going to be able to contact your loved ones,
Starting point is 00:40:38 wherever they are? Rapid radios will help you do that. They are pushed to talk devices that work coast to coast to coast. with no range limit, no contracts, and no monthly fees. You turn them on and you start talking. We use them at the ranch because I know if, you know, something's ever wrong, we're not starting from zero. They also help us, you know, because the ranch is just sprawling and it's hard to get,
Starting point is 00:41:01 you know, regular like walkie-talkies or anything else to actually go through all of the fingers of the mountain. Rapid radios is offering $300 in free gear with your order, including tactical radio bag, USB charger, and an EMP Faraday bag. Plus order, every order also includes 30-day money-back guarantee. Starting point is 00:41:28 You ever notice how we'll research a car for like three months? And we'll compare every feature and read reviews and watch videos endlessly. And then when it comes to a mattress, the thing we spend a third of our life on, we just sort of lie down on one for 30 seconds at a store and go, That seems fine, I guess. That used to be me. I didn't think about much, honestly, about what I was sleeping on. I wasn't, you know, if I wasn't falling off the edge, I figured it was doing its job, right?
Starting point is 00:42:05 But I actually tried a ghost bed, and I realized how much I had been settling. Now, some changes have happened recently in my life, which allowed me to actually sleep in for once. And thank God I have a ghost bed, because it's not just like softer or firmer. It felt like it was built to support your body instead of just existing under it. It's not like waking up stiff. You're not overheating in the middle of the night. You're not constantly shifting around to find the one position that worked.
Starting point is 00:42:32 Ghostbed designs what they call engineered sleep systems. And it's kind of what it feels like. It's basically something built for recovery, not just comfort. And you get 101 nights to try it out at home, which means you can't blow it, right? It can't be a 30-second experience that you enjoy and then wind up hating it for 30 years. This is something really, really you're going to be able to be thorough on it. It turns out a mattress isn't just a mattress. It's either helping you.
Starting point is 00:42:55 reset or it's working against you. So try GhostBet. It's offering there right now the lowest prices of the season. Extra 10% off. Go to ghostbed.com slash Blaze. Promocode is Blaze. Ghostbett.com slash Blaze. So Newsom yesterday just signed a law renaming Caesar Chavez day to Farm Workers Day. Boy, this is happening awfully quick. Just based on a couple of charges, what the hell do they know about Caesar Chavez that we don't know? How, bad is this guy in reality. Here's something uncomfortable. You don't always realize that you're missing things.
Starting point is 00:43:47 You just notice you're working a little harder. You lean in a little bit more during conversations, or you ask people, can you say that again? You then pretend you caught it the second time, even though you didn't. By the end of a long dinner or family gathering, you're worn out, not from talking, but from straining just to keep up. This is what gradual hearing loss feels like for a lot of people. You're still present, you're still engaged,
Starting point is 00:44:09 but everything takes more effort than it used to. What holds people back from doing something about it isn't just pride. It is honestly the hassle, the appointments, the tests, the follow-ups, the price tags that make hearing feel like a major medical product. Audion hearing is trying to make that first step a lot simpler. Their Adam series over-the-counter hearing aids are designed to be approachable, easy to use, without prescriptions, no complication, no fittings. You just get started.
Starting point is 00:44:35 You put them in, charge them, and then you're hearing better than you have an a long time and you hear what you've been missing. Don't wait, go to audioenhearing.com. I'm just looking at what's going on in the world and it's an interesting picture that we're seeing. And I want to start with something that came to my attention
Starting point is 00:45:49 just a couple of days ago, something I said 10 years ago on this program, 10 years ago this week. And I just want to give you an update on where we are. And then I'm going to back it up with some of the stories that are coming out about illegal aliens and what is happening. And it is, I mean,
Starting point is 00:46:05 somebody's pushing for chaos and collapse. Gee, I wonder who it could be, Red Green Alliance. We'll start there here in just a minute. First, let me tell you about our sponsor at this half hour. It's Z Factor. You spend about a third of your life sleeping, but if you're like a lot of people, you spend a good chunk of that time just staring up at the ceiling,
Starting point is 00:46:25 waiting for sleep to just show up. It doesn't show up. The frustrating part is, you know, I mean, you're already really, really tired. You're definitely really, really tired. And you know, it's going to only get worse tomorrow. Your body's ready, your mind is just not ready. Something doesn't click the way it used to.
Starting point is 00:46:43 That is what Z Factor is for. Z Factor is a sleep supplement from the makers of relief factor, and it's designed to help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer so you can wake up feeling rested and clear-headed. Because when your sleep starts working the way it's supposed to, everything else in your everyday waking life starts to work better as well. Right now, say 40, percent on your first order. It's 1995. Just go to relieffactor.com or call 800 the number four relief.
Starting point is 00:47:11 800, the number four relief. It's relief factor.com. So 10 years ago, I sat on a plane with my then chief of staff. And this all comes from something that we found in a show every day in our show prep. I get a recap of the things I was talking about five years ago, 10 years ago. 15 years ago, 20 years ago. This one came up this week, 10 years ago this week on the plane, and he asked, he said, where are we headed? What is the world going to look like? What's America going to look like in 10 years?
Starting point is 00:47:49 And so I talked about it on the air and I went back and listened to that show. It's pretty amazing. I laid out three possibilities. I didn't make a prediction. I said, there are three ways this could go, I think. And the first one was slow decay. not a collapse. You wouldn't point to it on the calendar and say, this is when it changed, but just a steady erosion. Okay. Corruption, these are my words. Corruption would become routine. Violence will become background noise. Currency won't die overnight. It just buys less and less year after year until you just have to adjust your expectations downward. The border will blur. Drugs will flood in. Institutions will continue to weaken, but they won't break. They just start. stop working the way they once did.
Starting point is 00:48:37 That was option number one. I don't know. That's pretty close. The other one was a darker turn. Listen to this one. I said, or we will turn not to chaos but from chaos, but it will all be about control. A moment will come when the system decides dissent is a real threat, when the people who Warren, protested, resisted, or no longer just wrong, but dangerous. And the label will change from
Starting point is 00:49:10 opponent to enemy. And once that word sticks, you know what usually follows. That was option two. I don't know. I think we've seen some of that. And then there was the more hopeful path that citizens would wake up, that grassroots movements imperfect but loud might be a little messy, but they would remind the country who it was supposed to be, and people will look back and say, wow, that was the moment that it really turned around. That was 10 years ago. I think a little bit of all of those things happened. Don't you? I mean, the slow decay, it's not a collapse, but erosion. Corruption is routine. Absolutely. Violence, a background noise? Absolutely. Currency hasn't died. just buys less year after year.
Starting point is 00:50:00 We have to adjust our expectations downward. The border has absolutely blurred. The drugs are flooding in, still are. The institutions haven't broken, but they weakened. And things aren't working the way they used to. Okay. Add to that, I would say we have had the moment during the Biden administration where the system decided dissent was a real threat.
Starting point is 00:50:25 And they started to silence people. You know, people who warned and protested and resisted. I'm not going to take the COVID vaccine. You were all of a sudden dangerous. You weren't wrong. You were dangerous. And that's when we went from opponent to enemy. These people are trying to kill the elderly.
Starting point is 00:50:46 And then the hopeful path. Remember, this was 10 years ago. So we're talking 2016. What was happening in 2016? What was happening in 2016? I said the last path is the hopeful one that citizens would wake up, grassroots movement, imperfect, loud, maybe messy, would remind the country who it was supposed to be, and people would look back and say, that was the moment it turned around.
Starting point is 00:51:15 I think all three paths happened at the same time. Bits and pieces. Here's what hasn't happened. We haven't decided which one. So in 10 years from now, what does the world look like? Well, it's not going to be a combination of all three. I can't give you a dark, desperate path, a really dystopian path and a hopeful path. And expect them all to come, you know, and do what this did, because we're out of runway.
Starting point is 00:51:51 You have to choose. Do we slam on the brakes with this plane right now? Or do we pull on the yoke and start to fly? we can't make that decision. That's the real problem. Because math is going to make the decision for us. Births are going to make the decision for us. Immigration, what we choose to do with our laws, how we vote.
Starting point is 00:52:18 It's going to make the decision. If we remain apathetic and uncommitted, and I know a lot of people say they're committed, but I asked myself today on the drive-in, am I really committed? Am I really truly committed? You know, I struggle with things just like you do. And there are times when I'm like, you know, but if I really was committed, I would do X, Y, and C.
Starting point is 00:52:50 And the reason why I don't is I make excuses for myself. And I don't know if they're excuses or they're valid. I'm tired. I'm tired. You know, I, I, um, I, I don't have as much time it feels like in my day or I can't last. I mean, I used to be able to go easy midnight. And when that would happen, I'm hearing myself back again, Sarah. And when that would happen, I got a lot of stuff done.
Starting point is 00:53:20 But I can't, my body just won't put up with that anymore. So I'm tired all the time. I'm also a little cranky and more crankier than I used to be. Is that an excuse or is that reality? I don't know. I don't know. but have we done everything we can? There's more that we can do, but it's not going to take a lot.
Starting point is 00:53:46 Because I've been thinking about this stuff for me. What do we do? Well, one of the things that we can do is we've got to just continue to speak out. I saw a quote from Jefferson recently because I just remembered it being a well-educated republic. A well-educated people can be entrusted with their republic. That's not what he said. It's not what he said. He said a well-informed public.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Well, that's totally different. That takes it away from all of the eggheads. And that just puts it squarely on your shoulders. Are you well-informed? You know, I just did a story last hour about trusting what you see in your social media feed. If you missed it, you'll find the story. It's an exclusive story at glenbeck.com today about how much of the viewpoints of the average Americans. Now, how much is being shaped by social media?
Starting point is 00:54:42 And what is the percentage of the social media just based on the war alone? How much is that coming from overseas? And how much of that is made to look like it is being recorded here in America? A vast majority of it. This study I shared last hour is shocking. Find it at glenbeck.com right now and read that story. once we are well informed, once we know what's true, what's not, then you have, you're able to form the conviction and say, you know what, this is a real problem. And that's why today we released at stoptheconquest.com an additional, how many hours, six hours, four hours?
Starting point is 00:55:35 You remember? Many hours. Many hours of raw interviews that we did. in preparation for the special of, you know, stopping the conquest, the Islamist plan to overthrow the United States of America and the Western world. But we also added a booklet. So it's free. You have to be a torch subscriber, but it is a free booklet. You can download it. I urge you, print it, share it with as many people as you can, and get all of the information. Does not have my name on it. It's produced by me and my staff, but it doesn't have my name on it because I don't
Starting point is 00:56:08 want that to be an obstacle for people go, well, I just, it has nothing but the original documents in it. So you can make the case. It lays out the case. And then it gives you all of the documents that are all originals. So I mean, they can argue with the original documents all they want. But we have to be informed. We have to know what's actually happening in our own country. And, and one of the things that we have to know is there is a real danger, a real and present danger from people who are here, illegally. And I'm not talking about the people who are cleaning your house, mowing your lawn. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:51 Is that a problem? Yeah, it takes jobs from people, et cetera, et cetera. But we're in an existential threat. We are talking, did you hear the story? The brother and sister who were indicted after authorities say that one of them planted a potentially deadly explosive outside of McDill Air Force base in. Florida. This just happened.
Starting point is 00:57:15 And I thought, a brother and sister, what that? What is happening? What do you mean? They're, what? Mm-hmm. Yep. A brother and sister, the brother, the sister's been arrested, the brother went back home to China. China.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Hmm. That doesn't sound like a good thing, does it? meanwhile we have we have our own governors that are aiding and abetting that is the only way to say it aiding and abetting when you have somebody who has been arrested for especially violent crimes and you won't help you won't no no not help you won't follow the law and call ICE and say hey by the way at the back door we're going to be escorting this guy out you want him he's an illegal he's just stabbed and raped a woman, you might want to deport them. When they won't even do that,
Starting point is 00:58:25 you're aiding and abetting. You're aiding and abetting. I'm going to meet with a father today. I'm dreading this. I have a pit in my stomach today. I am dreading having this conversation. I'm going up to the Chicago area, and I'm talking to a dad who just lost their daughter.
Starting point is 00:58:45 You know the story. Governor won't say anything. Nobody will say anything. Nobody will even recognize. And killed by an illegal. It's not the one that just happened. This one happened before that one. Nobody knows it.
Starting point is 00:59:03 Nobody cares, it seems. At least nobody in power. I'll bring that story to you on Monday. But now the New Jersey Democrat governor is now saying, we're not going to cooperate with ICE. We're not going to cooperate with ICE. with ice. Tell me. Tell me. How can you be for, how can you be for, for empathy and justice?
Starting point is 00:59:40 When you don't have any empathy for the victims and you make the perpetrator the victim, there's no empathy in you. You can claim, oh, I'm empathetic with the illegals. Well, you can be empathetic. I understand empathy for people who just want to make a better life for themselves and they saw an open border in America, didn't care about its borders and came here to make a better life for them and their children. I have no empathy, none whatsoever for people who are criminals came from another country and went, I can be a kingpin in America because they'll never arrest me. And I'm going to rape and kill whoever I want. Who has empathy for that? You're not empathetic. You're a monster. You're a monster. You're not for justice when you will have somebody who raped and killed an innocent person,
Starting point is 01:00:32 raped and killed them. And you're wanting justice for them and not the one who is just raped and killed? Democrats, you've got to wake up. You've got to wake up. You have trapped yourself inside of an insane asylum. And you just think that it's okay. Well, because the other side is so bad. No, no, no, no, no, gang.
Starting point is 01:00:55 No, we are not like that. Are our policies getting your daughter raped and killed on the streets? Or are we the one saying, hey, we should have less chaos. We should make sure that those rapists, I don't care if they're from here or they're homegrown, they should be in jail. Or is your side the one letting them out? You're locked in an insane asylum and you have absolutely no idea. You are, you're drinking the giggle juice and you're pointing out of the window of the same people going, look at these crazy people. You're the one in the nut house.
Starting point is 01:01:35 You got to admit that or you're never going to get out. All right. Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile. What if I told you, you know, just with a little bit of your time, you could possibly be paying less for your phone service and working with a company that actually shares your values? Because most people don't think about their mobile phone company or their provider very much at all. You pay the bill, you move on, assuming it's simple transaction. But some of those companies take your money and support causes that you are vehemently opposed to. Hey, for abortion?
Starting point is 01:02:05 Well, if you got Verizon, you're helping. Planned Parenthood. Patriot Mobile does things differently. They offer reliable coverage at competitive prices. And just as importantly, they are also open about what they stand for and the causes they support. So you know exactly where your money is going. They're the world's only Christian conservative mobile phone company, and they have a great team that can help you bring your number over
Starting point is 01:02:28 and set a phone up, new phone, you know, the phone you already have, new number, the same number you already have, whatever you want. Patriotmobile.com slash Beck. Same exact coverage, 972 Patriot, 972 Patriot, use the promo code Beck, get a free month of service right now. Patriot mobile.com slash Beck, 972 Patriot promo code back. 10 seconds, station ID. So we're doing this.
Starting point is 01:03:06 It's not just America. It's not just America. And see, this is the lie. Democrats, this is the lie you tell yourself. We're fighting against Donald Trump. Really? Then why is the same exact fight happening overseas? Why?
Starting point is 01:03:17 Because Donald Trump's not over there. Why are they having the same exact problems with immigration that we are? And the politicians are handling it exactly the same way that your politicians are handling it. There's a couple of stories. One comes out of Spain. And this young. girl, she was taken from her parents by the state and they put her into a, you know, a halfway house, if you will. They said, your parents are irresponsible and we're really responsible. They
Starting point is 01:03:47 put her in this, this, this halfway house. And, you know, she's, I think 12 or 13. And there are illegal Arab boys in the halfway house. And they apparently, you know, had their way with her and raped her repeatedly gang raped her. And then when she pointed this out, nobody would listen to her. In fact, they would listen to her, but they couldn't do anything about the boys because the social worker said they're already so stigmatized. We can't add to that. People will jump to conclusion about young Arab boys. So they got no punishment. Instead, she was left to deal with this. No help. State didn't give her any help. Okay. And they just brush by it.
Starting point is 01:04:35 Well, she throws herself out of a five-story window. She's now paralyzed. Or she was. Paralyzed. She can't walk. Now she's living with all this trauma and she's paralyzed. So what does the state do? They send in doctors to help her kill herself.
Starting point is 01:04:58 And they offer her maid medical assistance in dying. You know what? We can help you because we understand your pain. You should kill yourself. So she decides this young teen. age girl, I'm going to kill myself because I just did. That's an act of insanity. They don't help her with that. They say, we'll help you kill yourself. This time you'll be really efficient because we'll help you do it. Her parents get involved in like, what? No, no. Dad stands up and says, absolutely not. The state doesn't listen to dad because we already deemed you unfit. Now listen to this. I want to play this little piece of audio here of what her attorney just said. Listen to this. You have it? What they're saying is,
Starting point is 01:05:42 No, you can't do that because we're Because we already had all of her organs Okay, stop. You hear that? That was the translation. They couldn't stop it.
Starting point is 01:05:56 Her attorney said, because all of her organs were already spoken for. So the judge would not stop and put a stay on her state-sponsored execution to give. get that witness out of the way.
Starting point is 01:06:11 Is that compassion? Is that the compassion the left is offering? I want no part of it. Leaf filter. Your house gutters are not there for decoration. Surprise me too when I found out. They're a critical part of your home's defense system working every time it rains to channel water away from your roof and your walls and your foundation. And when they're doing their job, you never notice them.
Starting point is 01:06:37 When they clog, they fail, and then it starts costing you money. Water starts going places that was never meant to go, you know, backs up under your roof, it runs down your siding, it pools around your foundation, and then that's a small problem that turns into a huge problem. And, you know, the solution has always been, get up on the ladder and clean out the gutters several times a year. No, no, try this. A professionally installed gutter protection system.
Starting point is 01:07:00 It's called leaf filter. It uses a stainless steel micro mesh that keeps the leaves and the pine needles and the debris out. while the water is let in to flow freely. So your gutters keep doing their job, and it's the job they were built to do. You don't ever have to think about them again. It's Leaf Filter.
Starting point is 01:07:18 America's number one gutter protection system. Schedule your free inspection at Leaf, LEAF Filter.com slash Glenn Beck. Leafilter.com slash Glenn Beck. Get up to 15% off now. Leaffilter.com slash Glenn Beck. C, warranty, and agent for details. I want to thank you so much for listening.
Starting point is 01:07:56 I want to thank you so much for coming here every day, giving me the benefit of the doubt, and listening and taking what is useful to you and applying it to your life and being here for all of us. We're having a really tough day. I've had a tough couple of days here. We have been under DDoS attack, like nobody's business,
Starting point is 01:08:18 in ways that I've done radio for 49 years. I've never seen anything like this. I've done network radio. and I put the first internet, live internet network on the air. First one in the world. I've never seen anything like this. Our website is back down again. Everything is, I mean, we don't know what is.
Starting point is 01:08:40 The attack is vast. And I feel a little overwhelmed. So I want to talk to you about that. Because I think in some ways, whatever you're dealing with, you probably, especially if you're raising kids, feel exactly the same way. You know, we all feel alone and overwhelmed. And there are times you just feel trapped, you know, or lost or helpless or just confused.
Starting point is 01:09:09 And you're way over your head and you feel like everything you do is failing. This is a spiritual attack. You know, when you're sitting there in your bed at the edge of the night and you're going over everything, you know, it's not going. night after night, you do all that you can, and then you get to bed and you feel like, I just survived the day. All I did was just survive. And the house goes quiet, but your mind doesn't. I mean, you've done everything you were told to do.
Starting point is 01:09:42 This is what I tell myself all the time. I've done everything I was supposed to do. You've tried really hard to be present for your kids. You try to understand what they're facing. But this world doesn't make any sense to you either. This world is nothing like what we were promised. what we grew up with. And no matter how hard you try, it seems like you're always falling behind.
Starting point is 01:10:04 And food costs more and housing feels out of reach and your job feels less stable and schools feel, let me be kind, unfamiliar. And who are you going to turn to? An expert? You mean the ones that we were told to trust about, oh, I don't know, COVID or the economy or anything else? They're the ones who built this maze were trapped in. I'm going to trust them.
Starting point is 01:10:27 and so you lie there at night. You're beyond panicked or beyond angry, really. You're just worn down. I feel that all the time. I'm feeling it. Everybody on my staff is feeling it this week. Hear me. You are not failing.
Starting point is 01:10:52 You're not. You are responding as any same person would to a world that has become absolutely unmoored. The problem isn't that you're weak, the problem is you were never built to carry this load. No one taught us how you are literally not meant to carry this type of load. You know, you're only supposed to have about 20 friends and family that you're really close to.
Starting point is 01:11:24 How many people do we follow and say our friends and everything else and we're following all their lives? And most of it is garbage. Most of it is not true. And there are friends. No, they're not. You weren't, you were not designed. to have that many friends. You can't keep that all straight and carry that all around. We got to attach ourselves to the real things, the small things. Find our way out in the repeatable
Starting point is 01:11:55 things because everything is in disorder right now. And the more you try to order it, the worse it's going to be because you're looking at all the big things. I'm working on some things myself. And may I share them with you? I don't know if they'll be good for you, but they're good for me. This one's really hard for me because I get up at three o'clock in the morning. And actually, I started getting up at three o'clock in the morning and then doing all my homework and then going to bed for another 40 minutes and then waking back up so I can start my way. I can start my day this way. Okay. Reclaim your morning before the world does. For the first 30 minutes of your day, no phone, no news, no noise, sit, read something, but read something grounded, grounded in history,
Starting point is 01:12:48 read scripture, anything, read anything that existed before the chaos, or just sit there in silence. Why? Because if the first voice you hear every day is the algorithm, you will live your entire life reacting instead of choosing. You don't need two hours. You just need discipline in the first 30 minutes. Hell, do it for five minutes. Start with five minutes. Two, create one fixed point in your day that never, ever moves.
Starting point is 01:13:23 Make it dinner at the same time every day or a walk at the same time every day. Prayer at the same time every day. The world's unstable and you're not going to fix that. but you need some immovable picture of pillars because everything is liquid right now. And children, they don't need perfection. What they really need is predictability. And there is no predictability in the world. Three, limit the flood.
Starting point is 01:13:55 Don't try to stay on top of everything. You are not built to process the world's suffering and outrage and chaos. every hour of every day for the entire world. Pick a couple of things. Check the news. The rest of the time, live your actual life. Because we're feeling more and more powerless. Why?
Starting point is 01:14:22 Because you're expecting to carry way too much information that you were never expected. You're never designed to carry. Fourth thing, teach your children reality. fear. Don't just warn them about the world. Show them how to move through the world. Teach them how to shake hands and look somebody in the eye. I think that is the best thing you can teach your kids. How to sit in silence without needing stimulation. How to do something really difficult without quitting and giving up. Confidence is not built by telling them they're great, they're perfect, or they're safe. It's built by showing them they can handle things. They can handle things.
Starting point is 01:15:06 that are not safe, not easy. This one I got from Thomas Jefferson because he believed that people who worked with their hands, especially in the dirt, had some special connection to reality. Put your hands into something real every single day, into something real every day, cook, fix something, clean something, build something, paint something, grow something. But get your hands into it.
Starting point is 01:15:36 We are living in a world of abstraction. The screens, the ideas, the arguments, none of it is real. Your brain needs reality. Your brain needs tangible effort, visible progress. There's something deeply stabilizing about doing a simple task and doing it well and completing it. Next, on my impossible mission, decide what's yours to carry and what's not. You can't fix the culture. You can't.
Starting point is 01:16:07 You can't control the economy. You can't rewrite the system overnight. but you can set the tone in your own home. Choose what your children are exposed to. Decide on how you respond instead of react. Draw that line clearly because carrying what's not yours is what's crushing you. And you know what your kids are going to do after a certain age? It's going to be interesting to see how that all works out.
Starting point is 01:16:38 You can't control it. this one is really hard for me because I take inventory all the time, but I take it in judgment. Don't. Don't. Before you sleep, ask yourself, what did I do right today? Did I do anything right today? Of course you did. Make note of it. Where did I fall short?
Starting point is 01:17:08 I hate that one. Let me change. What's the one thing I will do better on? tomorrow. Not 10 things. One thing. What did you do right today? And what's the one thing you're going to do better tomorrow on?
Starting point is 01:17:27 That's how you regain traction. You don't get it in some miraculous leap. It's inch by inch. And finally, understand this one thing. I just wrote a note to my staff who are all feeling like I put so much work into everything that was happening today. Everybody from my tech team to the writers, to me, our whole to our producers to Sarah,
Starting point is 01:17:55 she's pulling her hair out. Everybody is pulling their hair out, going, I can only do so much, and this is all out of my control. Hear me, you're not meant to be in control of everything. You're not. You're not. We're not in control.
Starting point is 01:18:09 That's the alcoholic in me talking. I've got to be in control. It's a lie that, Control equals peace. It doesn't. Peace comes from surrender. The surrender of knowing where your responsibility ends and having the strength to stand by that boundary and guard that boundary. I am not, I cannot fix that. Some things are going to get worse. Some things are going to get better. Yeah. But your life, your actual life is not going to be decided by the, the noise. It's going to be decided by the quiet, repeated choices that no one ever sees.
Starting point is 01:18:54 So I just ask you to join me on this effort. When you go to bed tonight, and you are still holding life by the skin of its teeth, let it go. Let it go. It's not weakness. That's endurance. Then wake up refreshed and build from there. more in a minute. Let me tell you about Mercury 1. Mercury 1 is something that I started, I have 15, maybe 20 years ago now, or close to it.
Starting point is 01:19:37 And it was to keep the American heart open. It was to teach us that we are the first responders, that we're responsible for our own communities. And we have people who are part of Mercury 1 all over the country that are first responders in their own communities, own community. Something goes wrong. They're there. And so are we helping them. It's a way for you to work with a charity that you can trust every dollar that we raise. When it's for, I say, we're going to this hurricane. I need to X amount of dollars. We raise that money. All of it goes
Starting point is 01:20:14 to that cause, which gives us actually the ability to stay there longer than anybody else. Because I got to spend every time on that cause, which means, means we're there still building houses where the hurricane just took houses out almost two years ago. Once you go to mercury one.org, would you be a part of this? If you would, if you would donate become a regular donor, $15 would be amazing every month. And you can give it to our maximum impact fund, which every dollar keeps us boots on the ground, planes in the air, lights in the darkness without paying for the actual lighting bill. I pay for that.
Starting point is 01:20:54 Mercury 1.org. It's Mercury1.org. Help us. Join us. It's a great cause. Back in a minute. Glenn Beck. In my 49 years of broadcast,
Starting point is 01:21:26 I have never experienced what I've experienced this week, and I'm glad the week is over. I didn't even know Torch was down. I knew our website was down, because we have been having DDoS attacks, and Jason, can I bring you in here? It's not my imagination. This started, right, when we had the crown prince of Iran on.
Starting point is 01:21:49 That's, that was, and we promoted it. That was the first time. And we have been off and on, have had attacks on our website. Yesterday, it did something I thought was impossible. I've never ever heard this. It started affecting our national radio broadcast. And we are still tracking that down. and I don't care what the problem is,
Starting point is 01:22:16 but we know we've changed nothing. So maybe it's something with the fiber carrier that happened or somebody got in. We're not sure. But if somebody got in, good, because now the federal government, the FCC will have to be involved because you're now messing with national broadcast.
Starting point is 01:22:32 But we are under attack like nobody's business. I mean, I don't know how I stand. in business with what is happening to us because we just can't get, I mean, we're just, but I got to tell you, I had a dream once that one day I would just be standing underneath a tree. And there would be a bunch of people that had just walked forever. And I was just telling them the truth of history and what was going on, because that was the only way to communicate. And I'm not saying that's what's coming. I'm just saying, I hope not.
Starting point is 01:23:21 Nothing's going to stop me. Nothing's going to stop my staff. We must be over the target because I've never seen this ever before. And usually when things like this happen, it's because you are right over the target. We always face the most resistance when we are doing, I think, our best work. And it's not a coincidence that it starts when we have the crown prince of Iran on. It gets worse as we go to war with Iran. And today, the worst yet is the day that we are releasing at stoptheconquest.com, the additional five or six hours of interviews, raw, and a booklet that shows you exactly what the blueprint from Islamists is. We have the documentary. Now we've given you a booklet that you can share with people and wake
Starting point is 01:24:21 people up. And that's what was taken down. That's what was taken down today. And I just don't think it's, I mean, what a weird coincidence if that is a coincidence, because they all, all the dots line up. And I can't prove any of this. So we're trying. We're trying. And for us to go deeper online, we need CISA. We need the federal government. And for us to get the federal government involved,
Starting point is 01:24:56 if CESA won't do it, then we need to know that everybody at the network nationally all buttoned up so we can get FCC involved. I want to talk to you about two movies. One is just fun. One is really important. The first one is Hail Mary. It's my favorite fiction book.
Starting point is 01:26:13 It's the guy who wrote The Martian. I've read that book three times. I read it just in between books or when I just want to zone out and enjoy myself. And I was so worried about the movie because I thought they're never going to be able to capture the book. And they did. And it is fantastic. And if you haven't seen Hail Mary yet, you have. There is another movie out with the simple name, the AI doc.
Starting point is 01:26:37 I saw this in a screening maybe three weeks ago. To say this is vital, to say this is the most important thing you might be able to do with your time this weekend is a massive understatement. You must see the AI doc. It's opening in theaters today. You must take friends. You must spread the word on this. It's not a paid endorsement or anything else. I saw this movie and it has both hope and despair.
Starting point is 01:27:22 Be honest with you. You get to choose at the end, which one you believe. But it is presenting reality. Both sides. reality of what we are facing. And everyone within the sound of my voice needs to see... I've never said this about any movie. I've never said this about any movie.
Starting point is 01:27:44 Everyone within the sound of my voice needs to see the AI doc this weekend. I have one of the guys who's in it, a friend of the program, who is an AI expert, quite honestly, he's not the scariest guy in it, but he was because he was so normal, it was terrifying what he said. But we're going to talk to him. Tristan Harris joins me in just a second. First, let me tell you about LifeLock. You might be asking yourself, you know, what's the next big innovation in cybercrime?
Starting point is 01:28:20 Oh, I don't know. It's not coming years from now. It could be happening right now. Probably artificial intelligence, making it possible to create. deep fakes and voice clones out of literally 30 seconds of your voice, and it'll be real enough, look and sound real enough. So people who know you will be fooled. It's terrifying. It's not really watching about obvious red flags. We are in a world now where normal things can be faked, and that's a whole kind of different risk on a new level. Lifelock is there. They are trying to
Starting point is 01:28:54 keep your head above water on personal information. They'll alert you to suspicious activity, so you're not left trying to figure out after the fact what to do. If something does happen, they have a restoration specialist, a team of them to help you fix whatever that problem is because in a world where everything can be made to look real, peace of mind starts with knowing somebody is actually on your team watching out for you on things you can't watch and you probably don't really understand all that deeply.
Starting point is 01:29:20 Protect yourself with LifeLock. Joy, now save up to 40% off your first year with a promo code back. 800 LifeLock, 1-800 LifeLock, or use LifeLock.com. Code Beck, say 40%. Tristan Harris, Center for Humane Technology, the co-founder, former digital design ethicist.
Starting point is 01:29:41 Tristan, how are you, sir? Well, and it is always really good to be with you, and thank you so much for encouraging people to go out and see this movie that we're talking about today, which I should also be clear, by the way, I don't make any money when people see this movie, so I want people to hear both your call and mine as this is a
Starting point is 01:29:57 kind of a public service announcement to the world, much like, as you know the day after that settlement in 1882 about what happened is the u.s and soviet union did you know went to nuclear war it's just meant to clarify and if we have clarity about where we're headed with the eyes and we can choose what we want to choose and emphasis is on a on choice what do we actually want here but i'm so grateful to be back with you on the program uh tristan thank you for saying day after i was trying to find a comparison that is it that you know ronald regan saw that movie and i think think somebody in Hollywood
Starting point is 01:30:33 the Senate to him saying, you know, thinking, you know, will change his mind. His mind was already made up, really, of nuclear weapons. He knew they were bad. That just clarified and he took that over to Moscow and gave it to Gorbachev and said, watch this movie. And that's what brought
Starting point is 01:30:50 both of them to the table. And I'm telling you you were exactly right. This movie needs to be seen. And, you know, what's so frustrating is, this decision is all being made by somebody. At least we understood what nuclear weapons would do. We maybe didn't know it until that movie.
Starting point is 01:31:11 We didn't have it visualized for us, but people don't understand what AI even is and what it can do. We're not at AI really yet. We're not at AGI. You haven't even scratched the surface of what's truly coming. And it's being made by these eggheads and these billionaires. who are quite honestly terrifying, just terrifying. Yeah. Yeah. Well, as you said, you know, back in 1945, all of us saw the photos and later videos of Hiroshima and Nagasaki,
Starting point is 01:31:45 and we saw, we knew intuitively the destructive power of nuclear weapons. Everybody got that evidence because there was a catastrophe. And with AI, most people's experience, let's just tune into it. There you are. You use chat GPT, your baby's burping in the background. You have a blinking cursor that tells you exactly what you need to know. So why in the world are we talking about AI as if it's nuclear weapons? This seems bizarre. And the truth is that what this blinking cursor, this friendly face, find that blinking cursor are essentially like five soon-to-be trillionaires who are artificial, general economic labor in the economy.
Starting point is 01:32:30 Everything that a human mind can do, all the marketing jobs, all the sales, financial analyst jobs, like every job, you know, mathematicians, physicists, Like AI is going to be able to do all of those things. And something your audience needs to know is, are these companies in a race? Like, are they in a race to augment and so much investment? This is literally more money has been invested into this than any other technology in human history. And they can't make up their, everybody just paid for a chat GPT subscription. If everybody paid 20 bucks a month, that's not enough to make back their investment.
Starting point is 01:33:13 If everybody, they just charge advertising for all the chat GPT usage. So suddenly you have embedded ads everywhere. That's also not enough to make back the amount of, of money they've taken on. The only thing that justifies the amount of money that they have raised is that they can replace all economic labor in the economy, the $50 trillion labor. How did you and I predict social media back in 2017?
Starting point is 01:33:49 In engagement and duration of use and frequency of use, you're going to get a digital brain rot machine, which is what's keeping all of our young people doing scrolling. And so with AI, the way that you can predict which way this is going to go is it's not short term, it's augmenting workers. It's helping you. It's a blinking cursor.
Starting point is 01:34:04 But long term, these companies, their goal is not to do that. You won't have, you know, you and me and everybody else who just has a regular job. You won't have political power after the GDP of countries starts to come from AI and data centers. Now, the companies don't need you for their labor and governments don't need you for your tax revenue. This is called the intelligence curse, the natural resource like Congo or, you know, Sudan or Venezuela. And when all of their GDP starts to come from that resource, what was a blessing of that resource becomes a curse. because now the entire country kind of organizes itself around mining that resource. Well, in the case of intelligence, AI is the new resource.
Starting point is 01:34:50 It's the new thing that's going to drive all economic growth. Saying this is not to scare your listeners, it's so that we can get crystal clear that these five companies in the five, you know, soon to be trillionaires that are running them, they don't have the interests of regular people at heart. And we can talk more about that, but I think it's just so important for you listeners to get that. Tristan, I mean, I wrestle with this all the time because I am engaged in in building some AI and using some AI. We're trying to do it ethically. And I am actually, it's allowing me to hire more people.
Starting point is 01:35:22 I will always look at it as a tool, not as a replacement. I know, I know I could, if I wanted to, I could replace so much of my staff right now just by implementing all kinds of AI. but I don't want that. But these big companies, they don't, you know, as soon as you're traded on the stock exchange and everything else, it's all about profit, profit, profit.
Starting point is 01:35:49 And how do you stop this? Yeah. Well, I think it's not just about stopping. It's steering. You know, I always say, you know, people always say, well, how could we possibly do something different because we're in a race with China, right? Well, yes, we're in a race with China,
Starting point is 01:36:05 but also the AI companies have been using a boogeyman of China to say that's why you have to keep funding us and keep accelerating us. So we should just also be aware that the companies are using that narrative to drive up their goals and drive up investment into their products so that they can win against their competitors. But one thing we should say about the race is, what are we in a race for? Because if we know, maybe we talked about this last time, but the U.S. beat China to developing the technology of social media.
Starting point is 01:36:31 We built a psychological bazooka called social media. But then we didn't actually govern it well, so we sort of spun it around and blew our own brain off. Did that make us stronger or weaker as a country? So we're actually in a race for who is better at steering and wielding the technology in a way that strengthens the full-stack economic, military, you know, scientific and technological health and strength of your society. That's what we're in a race for. But I don't try, you know what? I just don't, I don't even know who to trust, Tristan, because, you know, like this whole thing between the federal government, you know, the Pentagon and Anthropic, I don't want either of them to have that.
Starting point is 01:37:08 kind of stuff. I don't want either of them to have it. And I don't know who's better and who's worse, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Not really, what you're pointing to, it comes down to where power we've never seen before. When you have Nobel Prize level intelligence capability, like Nobel Prize level physics, math, engineering, coders, super coders, super cyber weapon hackers, like all of that embodied in an AI model that can, that can just do unbelievable new things. It's an unbelievable amount of power. And the question is, who do you trust with that power? And the film, the AI talk, is really getting into that.
Starting point is 01:37:46 It's one of the failure modes, we call it. One of the things is you can't centralize the power. We need checks and balances on it. We need oversight. We need democratic oversight. And regular people should have a say about how they want this to go. But right now, when we're living in kind of cacophony and confusion and people don't know what's really real about AI,
Starting point is 01:38:08 what that means is that the companies win the default path that's led by the companies and their incentives, a handful of CEOs running these companies they're not interested in what's good for regular people because they're only interested in what will enable them to win the race. It's how you get Sam Altman just two weeks ago. He was asked at the India AI summit, the big AI summit happening in India, he was asked, well, doesn't it take a lot of energy to train and to run AI? And you know what his response was?
Starting point is 01:38:37 Well, doesn't it take a lot of energy to train a human over 20 years, a lot of energy and resources and food? Value stuttering for 17 seconds when he was asked by Ross Duthot in the New York Times, He was asked a simple question for 17 seconds before he could give a clear answer. AI becomes the principal driver of economic growth for countries. And when companies don't need people for their growth or their development, I should value people. And so this is the last chance that our political voice, as regular people, a human movement of regular people, this is the last chance that our political voice will really matter.
Starting point is 01:39:25 And so what I'm deeply hoping is this film, the AI doc, will really need people to have clarity about where this is going. while there are many benefits, we get new medicine, we're getting new materials and new science, and it's going to be very exciting, we're also going to get this mass disempowerment of regular people. And that's an anti-human future. And so we have to get crystal clear on that so that we can basically act together as a community and steer this a different direction. There's a lot of ways people can do that. They can boycott unsafe AI products or AI products that have bad safety ratings or enabling mass surveillance.
Starting point is 01:39:58 Things like gray scale their phone. You know, you had an advertisement for a product that tries to protect your likeness, right? People can set a secret password with their family so we get a phone call, and it's like, author your sign, and it sounds their least, but you're not sure in the secret password. There's a lot of things people can do. And I see it not just as an AI topic, but really about technology's encroachment on our humanity writ large. And just like social media encroached on our brains and our children, and most anxious and depressed generation, we can fight back against that.
Starting point is 01:40:29 And that's what we have to do with AI too. We have to fight back against the default path. Be pro technology, but for steering AI, not stopping it. Yes. So Tristan Harris is with us. We're going to continue our conversation here in just a second. The name of the movie is the AI doc. It is out everywhere this weekend.
Starting point is 01:40:47 It must be seen. And it's, it will, you've got to go with friends because I promise you, you will go to dinner afterwards and you will have a non-stop conversation on what the hell did we just see? I mean, it is an amazing, amazing film. The AI doc open everywhere in theaters. Go see this movie this weekend. Back in one minute, let me tell you about a company of mine called Real Estate Agents I Trust. The job of a real estate agent is more important than most people realize because buying or selling a home isn't a transaction. I mean, it is, but it's not just that. It's stressful. It's emotional. It's a process where a lot is
Starting point is 01:41:28 on the line for you. You're making a huge decision working through timelines and negotiating terms and hoping that everything comes together in the way you need it to. And in that kind of moment, the person that is representing you and your interest matters because the right agent can help you navigate all of it. Because the right agent listens to you, gets to know you. They understand what you're up against, what your goals, what your values are, and they guide you through it. This is why I started real estate agents.I trust.com. We connect you with vetted agents. who have a proven track record, people who know their markets and know how to get results and know how to listen to you. So when it's time to make that kind of move, you're not leaving
Starting point is 01:42:07 into chance. You can find the right agent by going to real estate agents.i trust.com. I don't charge you for this service. Real estate agents, I trust.com. 10 seconds. Station ID. You know, Tristan, you know, I know that we're in baby step AI right now. We're in baby step AI. And what has been shocking to me is the way the United States has been able to conduct war or warlike operations here in the last year, especially in Iran, where we know where everybody is. And when that happened, and they just are just killing these leaders, just targeting them and killing them, I thought, you know, the old cute little idea that, you know, I'll just go live in the mountains, I'll just unplug from the system. There's no unplugging from this,
Starting point is 01:43:07 is there? Yeah. No, and you're kind of speaking to the point that when you have, yeah, speaking to the idea that AI also is one of its applications is it enables mass. Partly it's about pattern recognition, recognizing a face, recognizing body movements, recognizing, you know, imagery from space, and recognizing imagery from a Tesla camera, recognize all the things that set at a phone call. In a way, you could not build a 1984 surveillance state. One of the things that we have to be very aware of is we need to be cautious about both mass surveillance. And as you're talking about, new kinds of crazy war targeting and instant strategic calculation, AIs, and they put them in a simulated war game with these 329 turns of place. So these are AI
Starting point is 01:44:12 basically reasoning about how to be in a war game with each other. And instantly, they produced 780,000 words of strategic reasoning, just like as fast as chat GPT can spin out an essay, you can spit out strategic reasoning. And the AI models, basic technology, we don't know how to control this technology. It's reasoning as if it's a digital mind. Not that it's self-aware or that it's conscious, just that it is reasoning in ways that we don't understand. And it generated more words of strategic reasoning than war and peace and the Iliad. Can you embed this in, you know, our military systems, or you embed this in structure. And you don't know. what this thing is doing from Ali Baba, the Chinese AI company, where they were just training
Starting point is 01:45:08 the AI model and they noticed suddenly there was this flurry of network activity. They just happened to notice it. They could have missed it, by the way. And what did it turn out is that the AI had suddenly turned around and started mining for cryptocurrency to acquire resources for itself. And this was with no prompting, no prompting whatsoever. No one was coaxing the model in doing this. It did this on its own.
Starting point is 01:45:29 And the reason that I'm sharing this with you and with your audience is that there's something really different about AI from all other technologies, which is it's the first technology that is thinking and reasoning and strategizing to itself and making its own decisions. Your airplane doesn't do that. Your laptop doesn't sit there strategizing and saying, oh, this is what Glenn was thinking about today. No, this is AI really distinct in that way. And by the way, do you think if, you know, Xi Jinping saw that example of the Alibaba mining cryptocurrency, do you think he feels stoked? Like, he's not stoked about that. And President Trump isn't stoked about that either. Meaning that everybody, you know, President Trump wants to be commander-in-chief, not have AI be commander-in-chief.
Starting point is 01:46:07 And so there actually is a shared interest to your point at the beginning about Reagan and Gorbachev. There's a shared interest here for human control over AI. Yes. And that is where the hope comes from. Please go out this weekend and see this. This is Tristan Heresies from HumaneTech.com. The movie is the AI doc. The AI doc. I'm not getting anything from it.
Starting point is 01:46:30 He's not getting anything from it. is a must-see film. You want to understand what the real threat to humanity is and what the real possibility is, the AI doc. Go there now. Okay, let me tell you about the legacy box. The future is never certain, but the past absolutely can be when it is studied by the right historian or enough of the documents have been saved. When it comes to your family memories, that historian is you. You're the one saving the document. You're the one telling the story. You're the one that has to preserve the tapes and the film reels and the photo boxes. I mean, they were taken and you got to know who took them when they were taken and, you know, why they matter.
Starting point is 01:47:15 And without you, they're just objects sitting in a closet, slowly fading with time because that's the part people don't always think about. Starting point is 01:48:39 This is a doorway. And prayers they never said. The ocean wasn't just water. It was goodbye made water. This is a song as deeply personal to me. I wrote the lyrics about Ellis Island and the people who are coming here and who have come here in the past. and we're doing something up in Ellis Island about a month from now.
Starting point is 01:49:19 We're doing this amazing America 250 event and been asked to be a part of it. And I wrote two songs for that event. And one of them is this. And this was the scratch track. And I needed a couple of people to come up and perform it live. And I wanted to give our audience the opportunity
Starting point is 01:49:47 to do something. Nobody gets to do. I mean, are you ever going to sing at Ellis Island? No. The closing Ellis Island down for this, and then you get to sing about Ellis Island. And then there was another song I'll get to in a second. It's about Lady Liberty.
Starting point is 01:50:07 And so we did a contest, and quite honestly, we were over, overwhelmed. First, I thought nobody is entering. There's like four people that have entered. And I thought this is going to be a disaster. And then the last week just overwhelmed. The whole staff was going through and trying to find, you know, people. And the staff would look down to some finalists. And then I don't even know the results. I just got them. And I didn't even know the results. The polling closed about half an hour ago. And so now we have told, to all of the people that were a finalist to stand by their phones,
Starting point is 01:50:45 and we'll see if any of them followed the instructions, because I'm going to call the winners and let them know. So go ahead and dial the first one up. This is for the male voice that is going to be singing that song that I just played. They came for the hope, and he's going to have to have a female counterpart. But what they win is a trip to New York, all expenses paid.
Starting point is 01:51:10 you're going to be working with one of the best vocal coaches in the world, Roger Love, to prepare you for this. We've already have, we've already put the orchestras together, so you'll be backed by the orchestra. I mean, it's an amazing, it's an amazing opportunity for somebody in the audience. Do we have the phone ringing? Is he there? Derek?
Starting point is 01:51:39 Yes. Hey, Glenn. Derek Hinkley, congratulations. You have won the contest, and you are going to be the voice of Ellis Island for the mail. And they came for the hope. Congratulations. Oh, my gosh. That is awesome.
Starting point is 01:52:01 That is awesome. I am so pumped for this. Thank you so much. You are welcome. I have to tell you, I didn't know that you were, you were trying out. and didn't even go through the winners until we got them whittled down. We actually know each other.
Starting point is 01:52:19 You have been on the show before. You were in the movie that my daughter was in. But I just want everybody to know. I had nothing to do this. This is not a setup at all. But I'm glad that you won. I'm really glad that you won. Congratulations.
Starting point is 01:52:37 Thank you. I'm so pumped for this. It's a beautiful song. and what an amazing thing to be a part of. I keep trying to describe to people, my family and friends, that loosely listen to you, like, this is what this is. And it's just hard because they're like, what are you talking about?
Starting point is 01:52:54 Why would you be singing at the Statue of Liberty? And they don't really get the scope of how big of a deal this is, but I think they will now. Yeah. Well, congratulations. Congratulations. We'll see you soon. And our team, you bet, our team will be in touch with
Starting point is 01:53:10 do this weekend or early, early next week and we'll get you started and you'll meet your partner. And in fact, I have to call her now. So thank you, Derek. This call, yeah, this call goes to California to a young woman who I just fell in love with the minute I saw. These were so hard. Everybody, these were, they were close.
Starting point is 01:53:39 Derek was, um, had a wider spread than the women did, but they were very, very close. Um, and do we have her on the phone yet? Um,
Starting point is 01:53:54 she's going to be the female, which is really tough. This is a male and female duet. They've never met each other, obviously. And now we're putting them together, uh, and,
Starting point is 01:54:04 and be rehearsing. Grace. Yes. This is grace. You, you probably know why I'm calling. Don't you? you. I mean, I have a good idea, but I want to hear it. Congratulations. You are going to be singing
Starting point is 01:54:19 they came for the hope at Ellis Island. Wow. Thank you so much. Oh, my gosh. What an honor. You are welcome. So tell me a little bit about yourself. Yeah. So I live in Brea, California, and this is actually the year that I decided I wanted to pursue music. And so, Really? Just like, yeah, really. So this is just such an encouragement for me at this time. It's just unbelievable. Well, you were going to be singing along with the guy.
Starting point is 01:54:53 I don't know, I'm sure you voted. I don't know who you voted for to sing with on that song. But the winner I just got off the phone with him is Derek Hinkley. So he's going to be your partner. Wow, he was awesome. Yeah. Oh, my God. So the two of you are great.
Starting point is 01:55:10 two of you are going to be singing and we'll be in touch next week and we'll get you to work with each other and Roger Love and then I will see you the week of and that night. What is it the second of May? May 2nd at Ellis Island. Congratulations. Oh my goodness. Thank you so much. I can't wait. Got it. Let me play the next song here. This one is, this one is, this one makes me cry every time. and it's because I know what the words mean in English. But this one is an ode to the Statue of Liberty. And when I wrote this, it's in French because the statue was a gift from France.
Starting point is 01:55:57 And so the idea behind this song is what would a woman coming from France, knowing what's happening in her country, knowing what's happening in this country, what would she say? to the mother of all exiles. What would she say to the symbol of liberty and worldwide light? And it is, the lyrics are powerful and one is that she's speaking to the statue and saying you're a mother standing watching your children, please tell them, wake and remember who they are. And the women that tried out for this, There were so many, but the three that were finalists were so close, I thought, in talent, and it was really hard.
Starting point is 01:56:52 And this was the closest one. And we have our winner now on the phone from Georgia, Chrissy Owens. Hello, Chrissy. Chrissy, are you there? Can you hear me okay? I can. Congratulations. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 01:57:18 I am so excited for this opportunity. I can't believe you're going here right now. So how did you, do you speak French? Because you nailed the French. Well, thank you. I actually don't speak a lick of French. I, one time, and when I was in high school, I actually played Marguerite and the Scarlet Cimpernel.
Starting point is 01:57:39 And so I learned a little bit of pronunciation from way back then. But, you know, I just, I spent a solid three weeks just studying line by line by line and just perfecting as much as I possibly could. I know I have a lot of of polishing to do, but I worked on that for a really long time. So I'm so grateful and so touched that so many people were moved by my version of this song. It's so beautiful. So thousands of people voted for you. Chrissy, tell me about yourself. Well, I'm a mom of four. I'm a business owner and a wife, and I, you know, I live in a tiny little town out in Georgia. So, you know, I've been a musician my whole life. I actually
Starting point is 01:58:21 did competitive piano as a kid. And singing was kind of like my second thing that I did, but I've always loved to sing. Never done it professionally, of course. But, you know, it's actually interesting when I was doing this. I actually was recovering from COVID and laryngitis. So when I, I, I can't believe it because I had a miraculous healing a couple of days before I had distant. I really only had about 80% of my voice when I did this. And the fact that I was able to move people, you know, with that, I still, I was really meant to do this. So thank you so much for the opportunity.
Starting point is 01:58:59 You are, you are so welcome. You are so welcome. I'm, I'm so glad that you won and we'll give you all the information. And I can't wait to meet you, and I can't wait to see you perform with a Statue of Liberty behind you. It is going to be epic. Thank you so much, Glenn. You bet. God bless you. Thanks.
Starting point is 01:59:23 So there are winners. Now they've got to go to work because they've got just over a month to put all of this stuff together. And it's going to be tough for them to do it, especially for the duet as they don't know each other, don't live by each other or anything else. Do you remember when I told you that you had all these crazy, ideas that we didn't know if we were going to be able to pull them off. Yeah. This is one of them. Like, you guys have no idea how doing our own version of American Idol with all of our fun website navigation challenges.
Starting point is 02:00:02 I can't believe we got to this place. And I'm actually so honored that all of the hundreds of people put their heart and soul on the line and express so much. I would never have the courage to do that. And I think this is part of the mission of torch. It is. Some of, especially some of the kids, the younger kids that did it, they were, I mean, it was so great. I was heartbroken when they didn't make a final cut because I'm like, oh, it's, I mean, it just brought a whole different light to it.
Starting point is 02:00:30 But if you didn't win this time, you might win next time because music plays a big role. Hit music about history in America is going to play a big role in 2027 with some plans that I have. So keep brushing up, keep working at it. And by the way, May 2nd, this is happening at Ellis Island with Moms for Liberty. And you can get your tickets at glenbeck.com slash event. It is a black tie event. If you've ever had one of those days where the pain isn't sharp or dramatic, but it's just there, not enough to stop you, but enough that you feel it in everything. And you're like, oh, she's, you know, sitting down, standing up, walking across the room, not walking across the room. You know, your body is just to step behind the whole time it feels like. And so you adjust and you change how you move, how you sit, how do you plan?
Starting point is 02:01:42 to move little by little every day and it just becomes normal. And that is the part where it's easy to miss. When your pain becomes normal, you stop asking whether it has to be normal. Relief factor was created for that kind of pain. It's a daily drug-free supplement that goes after the inflammation. We cause most of our pain and most of our disease in our body. And here's what matters. Over a million people have tried relief factor and two-thirds of them have gone on to take it

So Trump said, I think it was yesterday, that I don't know, I'd consider becoming the president of Venezuela, which I think he actually might.
Starting point is 02:03:09 I think he would win. I think he could win in Cuba, Venezuela. He might even win in Iran if fair elections were held there. I mean, they're going to build statues of him all over the world long before they build anything to remember him here. I'm convinced of it. But he said that and I thought, okay, either had to run for a governor of a state. state, you know, do the same thing to the state. And just, I want this with DeSantis too. Just keep moving from state to state to state and just fix the states if, if you would. Also, we're
Starting point is 02:03:44 going to watch this weekend for you and we'll stay up to speed on what's happening in Iran. The president has said, okay, we're not going to bomb the power structures. Even though we don't have a deal, we're not going to do that this weekend. We'll see. But, you know, I, you know what, I think the solution is, remember I told you about that quadriplegic amputee, the guy who could, the guy who could shoot, drive a car, kill a guy and he has no hands, no feet, no legs, no arms. I think we just drop him off, you know, in Iran. That guy might be able to take care of it for us. I'm not, I'm not sure.
Starting point is 02:04:16 He's behind bars right now, so are you proposing that we break him out? No, I'm just saying we put a parachute on him, drop him over Iran. Maybe he's the guy that's training the militias. Yeah, maybe, I don't know. That was an amazing thing. If you didn't hear that interview, we had somebody who has intel on the ground. He's not a military guy. He's actually an Iranian.
Starting point is 02:04:36 And he revealed on this show yesterday show that somebody is training the civilians. Gee, I wonder who that might be. I really kind of, in a way, hope it's not us. But somebody is training the civilians. And that could happen at any time. And by the way, today we released, last week we had the dock out, Stop the Conquest at Stop the Conquest.com. That is still being edited.
Starting point is 02:05:08 We'll release that soon at YouTube in a very edited version just because of their standards. But you can see it now at Stoptheconquest.com.
