I've got some inside
Starting point is 00:00:59 reports that you haven't heard yet about what's happening in our colleges, something brand new. We give fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the
Starting point is 00:01:34 Glenn Beck program. Wow, do we have a lot to go over with you today. I mean, just when you think okay, well, I've heard it all. No. No, you haven't. No, you haven't. It's, it's 20-20. And so it just doesn't stop.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Charlemagne the God. Probably the most influential radio broadcaster for Black America has doubled down and is now saying that Jews are running the world, I guess. So we have that. Candice Owens responds to it in quite a forceful one. and I've got a couple of questions based on what we found out from the Smithsonian Institution yesterday. The Smithsonian, they decided to, believe it or not, send out a cute little pamphlet, I guess, on what the white culture means. Oh, wait until you see this. All coming up in one minute.
Starting point is 00:02:45 This is the Glenn Beck program. Yeah. Oh, it's going to be a lot. It's going to be a lot of fun today. Just a ton of fun. First, let me tell you about blinds.com. We just put blinds in our old cabin. We have this old log cabin here at the ranch, and it was really hard to, I mean, we worked really hard.
Starting point is 00:03:14 It took us about 10 years to really get it right, or eight years as we've been working on it. and I didn't want to put anything in the windows that wouldn't be, you know, kind of accurate. Now, you know, in 1880, they didn't have blinds. They barely had windows. But I got on the phone with blinds.com and I said, what would be appropriate? Over the phone, over Skype, she looked at the room and she was like, okay, hang on just a second. I'm going to pull some fabric and I'm going to show you this, blah, blah, blah. and Tanya and I were like, really?
Starting point is 00:03:49 I mean, let's see, can you send those to us? We thought they were good, but we didn't know that they would be exactly right. I mean, she matched every, it was exactly on target, and she did it that fast. That was all free from blinds.com. You can do it yourself. It's really simple. They will help you with design if you need it and installation if you need it. Blinds.com, they keep it really simple.
Starting point is 00:04:16 They have easy online ordering and free shipping right to your door. And now they're blackout blinds there. So I can sleep during the day if I want to just kind of disappear. Did I say that out loud? 30,000 five-star customer reviews. They guarantee the perfect fit for your windows. Go to blinds.com. Take advantage of this week's special savings on interior blind, shade shutters,
Starting point is 00:04:39 and even outdoor shades. Rules and restrictions may apply. It's blinds.com. use the promo code back and save. So Charlemagne the God, the host of the breakfast club on New York's Power 105 FM. He is also a co-worker of mine. He works for the Premier Radio Networks,
Starting point is 00:05:07 although I don't think he treated Rush Limbaugh very kindly. I thought what Rush did was Charlemagne about a month ago, I thought was really remarkable on an outreach. And Charlemagne is just full of himself, but we'll see what happens. Charlemagne has come out and he made a comment on Nick Cannon for his anti-Semitic and anti-white statements. Now, Cannon was, he's lost his job with Viacom because he was supporting conspiracy theories of, Jewish control. He was talking about the Jews controlling things and how whites and Jews are closer to animals. I mean, it was, it was remarkable what he said. So he lost his job. Now, Charlemagne has
Starting point is 00:06:05 decided that Cannon should have known better. He said, we have all freedom of speech, but we're not free of the consequences of that speech. Okay, all right, good. and then he supported the criticism of white people saying that white people have a history of mass racial violence in this country. However, he said, Canon should have been careful discuss his views about Jews. He said, because Jews do in fact have the power, end quote. and that's what you can do when you have the power. Listen, Nick is my guy. I'm quoting Nick is my guy.
Starting point is 00:06:53 I hate that it had to be him, but that's what you do when you have the power. And if there's one thing Jewish people have showed us, it's that they have the power. Jeez. Wow. Okay. So now is Charlemagne going to be able to get away with that?
Starting point is 00:07:13 I don't know. I mean, look, I'm... Because Jews do have the power. There you go. Well, Well, we'll find out, I suppose, because they're going to come down. All the Zionist masters will tell us what to say here in a little bit and we'll know whether he should be canceled or not.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Oh, you didn't get your call yet? No, not yet. Why, you've already, are you higher in the list than me? Oh, geez. Yeah, I'm higher on the list. You're on the fax list. I still have an analog fax machine. You're still there at the analog fax machine waiting for that fax to come in.
Starting point is 00:07:42 I get the call. I get the call. That's impressive. I would say, again, I don't like any of these can. cancellations for any of these reasons. You know, you know, neither do I.
Starting point is 00:07:50 What you said of like, you need to have the consequences of your speech. There's a very tiny subset where I think that applies. Almost all speech, especially when you're talking about ideas, it should be stuff that we talk about. This is obviously what Nick Cannon said is so far over the line. It's difficult for, for anybody to justify employing the guy.
Starting point is 00:08:11 And, you know, I mean, people are totally ignoring what he said about white people, which, again, I don't have any, I don't feel the need to jump to the defense of white people. Like, that's not, I don't see people in groups. That's a collectivist idea. I don't know. I'm starting to.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Oh, God. I'm kind of starting to. Turning into a collectivist. Did you see what, no, I'm not turning to a collectivist. I just think that if we don't start standing up for ourselves, I think there's a group of people that would like to see us all erased. I mean, it's. It's getting crazy what's happening. That's definitely true.
Starting point is 00:08:49 I just don't, I don't, I just don't, I have much more of the, you know, the view of, I'm an individualist. And I don't, I don't see, I honestly do not see myself as part of some group. I never can, I take zero percent of who I am out of the color of my skin. And I judge people by the color of their skin at a rate of zero percent. That is the correct amount you should be judging people. And, and. and I agree with you. I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:09:18 I think a lot of Jews that went to the gas chamber probably agreed with that as well. You know, there comes a point to where it really doesn't matter what you think. It kind of matters what the Marxist, socialists, what they think. Right. Because once they get power, then they start building, you know, little camps and ovens. That has happened in our history. It has. It has happened.
Starting point is 00:09:46 And of course, I'm not saying like, oh, you know what we should do. Seed all the power to the Marxists. That's not the argument I'm making here. I'm just saying that like, you know, I don't feel that like taking some random host of a talent show's job away does anything to, you know, some radio host. I think like some wide receiver, like taking these jobs away is not, does not solve the problem. all it does is make people who believe that stuff more and more angry and give them more
Starting point is 00:10:19 quote unquote evidence as if they're being cracked down against. And this is how they use it. You know, and I don't think, so I don't think that stuff actually helps. I don't think the canceling, you know, if you have people, there are people who have been on the conservative side who have said things that are incredibly offensive and totally wrong. And those people, you know, get canceled. And does that help? Does that make that view go away?
Starting point is 00:10:42 If anything. and you said this a thousand times, Glenn, and I think you're right on it. It pushes it deeper. It grains it more into their character, and they stop talking about it so you don't even know it's out there. And then they start making decisions without announcing it. And that's not a good outcome. So I don't like this road. But it is amazing that no one's even mentioning the fact that Nick Cannon was talking about how white people are inherently evil.
Starting point is 00:11:09 That's a pretty good thing. I thought he had a good point on that. I mean, he made a good case when he said white people are evil. Yeah, I mean, that's a good case. I hate white people, too. It's hard to punch holes in that one. Yeah. So here's what Candace Owen said.
Starting point is 00:11:27 By the way, I agree with you. Remember, I'm the guy who stood up for Bill Marr after 9-11, where he's like, at least they had courage. I mean, so I believe in absolute free speech. I'm in free speech absolutist. Now, Candace said, I respect Charlemagne the God, but his comment that Nick Cannon's firing proves Jews has the power is off base. Boy, is she being kind here. Did hundreds of white people who have been fired over the past few months for disagreeing with radical goals of Black Lives Matter
Starting point is 00:11:59 prove that we have the power? Thousands of blacks promoted to comply with BLM. Thousands of whites fired for disagreeing and every one pretend it was cool. One black man gets fired and now it's the Jews have the power? Now I don't think so. It's a good series of points right there. I think who has the power right now are the Marxists, are the revolutionaries. They have, they have moved into every position of power that is required for them to take our country without a single shot. The only one that they don't have is the presidency. That's the last bastion here.
Starting point is 00:12:46 You lose the presidency. You lose the country. Did you see what happened with the Smithsonian yesterday? The Smithsonian, the Smithsonian with your money. Now, remember, when I said that the president had a problem with the white culture, everyone went crazy and said, how could you possibly say that? Well, I should have responded, I don't know. Check back with me in 10 years. But this is what I'm talking about. This is what I was feeling at the time. It was a misunderstanding or a disconnect with American culture. I don't think
Starting point is 00:13:32 this is white culture, but I think he thought it was white culture. But I think he thought it was white I think, well, proof is in the pudding. The people today that are from the same cut of the cloth of Barack Obama, they believe this is white culture. This is what the Smithsonian, with your tax dollars, put out yesterday, aspects and assumptions of whiteness and white culture in the United States. While dominant culture is, white or whiteness refers to the ways white people and their traditions and attitudes and way of
Starting point is 00:14:12 life have been normalized over time and are now considered standard practices in the United States. And since white people still hold most of the institutional power in America, we have all internalized some aspects of white culture, including people of color. So this is the white culture. And tell me when this became a white thing. Tell me if even if it is a white, thing. Tell me that when did this become a bad thing that it shouldn't become a human thing. Rugged individualism, white culture. The individual is the primary unit. Self-reliance. Independence is highly valued and rewarded. Individuals assume to be in control of their environment. You get what you deserve. Now that's not exactly true. The family structure
Starting point is 00:15:05 is white culture, the nuclear family, father, mother, 2.3 children, the ideal social unit. Husband is the breadwinner and head of the household. Wife is the homemaker and subordinate to the husband. Can you tell me people that besides the ones that are living with 14 wives and their hair is, you know, all pinned up and the guys have a giant beard or they're living in some compound? Can you tell me anyone who believes that the, wife is subordinate to the husband children should have their own rooms and be independent children should have their own rooms that's part of the white culture emphasis on the scientific method objective rational linear thinking cause and
Starting point is 00:16:00 effect relationships quantitative emphasis yeah that's a good thing isn't it History, based on Northern European immigrants' experience in the United States, heavy focus on the British Empire, the primacy of Western Greek, Roman, and Judeo-Christian tradition. The Protestant work ethic is part of the white culture. Hard work is the key to success. Work before play. If you didn't meet your goals, you didn't work hard enough. I don't believe that to be true.
Starting point is 00:16:31 I think that plays a role, but not true. Religion. Christianity is the norm. Anything other than Judeo-Christian tradition is foreign and no tolerance for deviation from a single God concept. Status of power and authority. Wealth equals worth. Your job is who you are. Respect authority.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Heavy value on ownership of goods, space, and property. I mean, can you tell me, Stu, where any of this gets bad? It seems like there, a lot of those things are really good. the things you should strive for. Yeah. Yeah. Time. Follow rigid time schedules. Time viewed as a commodity.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Plan for the future. Delayed gratification. Progress is always best. Tomorrow will be better. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, this is the white culture? This is the American culture.
Starting point is 00:17:31 This is what we are. And so when I said, you know, Barack Obama has a problem with the white culture. Yes. He defines this as now the Smithsonian defines the American culture as the white culture. It's not the white culture. It's why people of all colors cross deserts
Starting point is 00:17:59 and come over in rafts to be a part of this country. Because they want this culture. because they can't find this culture anyplace else. And you can't even find it in America anymore because of the Marxists more in a minute. All right, real estate agents, time to sell the house. You're ready for that? You're going to need to do all sorts of things, get them all done. Do you know the best carpenter to call the best carpet guy, the best plumber?
Starting point is 00:18:35 How about somebody who specializes in moving dirt since you got some erosion in the backyard that's going to need to be addressed? Do you know anybody who does all of that in your town or does those things? Do you know anyone who even does that anywhere, for that matter? How about the things that you don't even know about yet that need to be fixed in your house? Well, that's what you get when you're working with real estate agents I trust, because the answer is that person. The real estate agent that I trust as a free service to you, the agents that work with us, they're the best of the best,
Starting point is 00:19:08 they know the best practices, they're going to work hard for you, and they know those people. So when they say, look, here's what you have to do. I tell you what, we got a guy you can call this guy, he's pretty good, or maybe this guy. Real estate agents, I trust. The name says it all, a free service to you. You want to buy or sell a house. Get the real estate agent that you can trust at real estate agents.
Starting point is 00:19:31 I trust.com. 10 seconds, station ID. So I did something yesterday. I have not done before. I have never told. told my children that they have to watch my show every Wednesday. And I did yesterday. And I told them I wanted them to go back about five weeks.
Starting point is 00:20:04 I'm hoping they will do more than that, but I doubt it. But, and we're going to watch it together as a family every week and discuss it. I feel very underprepared for what I fear is coming our way. And I am, I'm having, you know, I had a couple of really important meetings last week, and I'm meeting with some people today about what the future holds. And I just don't think that we are prepared. And I don't think our children are prepared. And I've kind of, I've scared the dickens out of my kids, you know, their whole life.
Starting point is 00:20:51 But I have also tried to spare them a lot of what I know. And just recently I've said, we're not going to talk about things at dinner and I'm not going to bring up everything. Because I'm doing five or six hours of research every day. And so I see all of it. And about half of it gets onto the air. and by the end of the show, I'm just suicidal. And I don't want to pass that on to my kids. I don't want to pass that on to you.
Starting point is 00:21:27 But yesterday, after the show, and we started preparing for last night's show, I told the kids, you have to watch now. I'm talking about my, you know, older kids. And you have to be, you know, you have to be wise on what you're telling kids, because we don't want to be the global warming people that are freaking. And in 12 years, we're all going to be dead kids. But they need to be prepared. And we need to be spiritually prepared for what is coming.
Starting point is 00:21:57 Now, there are some real signs of hope, some things that are happening. I got a note from somebody in Los Angeles that said, she's kind of a lefty. And she said her lefty friends in California. that she said would never have said anything like this before or saying this is getting out of hand. This is this is not what we thought it was going to be. I just so wanted to say, oh, you think that? But there are some good things that are happening. But we need to be prepared for anything because it's 2020 and anything could happen.
Starting point is 00:22:40 This is the Glenn Beck Pro. If you miss last night's show, you should watch it on Blaze TV. It's ready for download. I want to introduce you to Herman. Now, Herman suffers from occasional bouts of narcolepsy, which is just horrible. He loves to talk about the weather more than anybody you've ever met and fishing, and he smells kind of a fish a little bit. He's going to be your Uber driver for the next couple of weeks.
Starting point is 00:23:12 you know, because some $4,000 chip went out in your car, and you've been, you know, putting off getting Car Shield, so it wasn't covered. By the way, did I mention that Herman really likes to listen to Polka music? He loves it, and you will too after the next couple of weeks. Now, Car Shield will take care of the expensive repairs so you don't have to, and you don't ever have to meet Herman with Narcolepsy, and he smells like fish.
Starting point is 00:23:39 Get your repair done and have it covered with Car Shield. Car Shield, do it now. You can find out their rates. They start as low as $99 a month. Carsheel.com, 800, Car6,000, 800 Car6,000, CarShield.com promo code Beck. The attempt to break up the nuclear family and the cancel culture Olympics on Glenn Beck and Suduz America last night, check them out.
Starting point is 00:24:02 BlazTV.com slash Glenn. This is the Glenn Beck program. We're just talking. Pat didn't see the show last night. It is a must watch. It's on demand, and it talks about the family and how BLM and others, this is a very well-coordinated effort to take down the traditional family. And we showed you not just BLM, we showed you other things that are happening you've never heard of. You've never heard of. And they've been working on these for the last five years, and they're all starting to hit right now.
Starting point is 00:24:49 That was on the show last night, but also something that the Smithsonian released yesterday on white culture. This is madness. This is madness what is going on. Did you hear Pat about the guy in San Francisco for the MoMA out in San Francisco? The curator. What a terrible person this is. At a staff meeting, he had the nerve, the unmitigated goods. all to say that white male artists shouldn't be discriminated against.
Starting point is 00:25:24 That's like reverse discrimination. You can't do that. Uh, well, the staff got together and rightly demanded he be fired. That was non-negotiable. And he was. He was fired. And then, of course, he apologized profusely. Uh, I want to offer my personal and sincere apology to every one of you.
Starting point is 00:25:44 I realized almost as soon as I used the term reverse discrimination that this is an offensive term and was an extremely poor choice of words. Shut up. I can't. Agonizing. So for saying that they shouldn't exclude white artists, that white artists should be included as well, you're fired from your museum job? Yeah. And you're never going to get another job again.
Starting point is 00:26:07 You'll never get another museum job again. And this was said in a meeting about how they were introducing tons of new artists to expand the diversity of the museum. Yeah. It was actually, he just threw it as an aside at the end of the meeting. And I'm not saying we're not going to still continue to put white people in the museum too. I mean, obviously. And then he loses his job.
Starting point is 00:26:30 That is his job. Everybody. Yeah. There's another great one where a white woman in Seattle was being boycotted because she has dreadlocks, a white woman with dreadlocks. Oh, no, that's cultural appropriation right there. Like, listen to some of these quotes. Not dreadlocks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:47 That's, oh, no one has confronted her about her choice to willfully appropriate black hair styling is highly problematic. Oh my God. I love this. This, because this is an easy thing to hit. Until racial equity is achieved in wealth, politics, education, and work. White people should not be wearing dreads out of love, solidarity, and respect for black people. At least, this is my current understanding.
Starting point is 00:27:12 And we should all note that as soon as his current understanding changes, uh, is, uh, is, will be applied to everyone retroactively, even though we don't know what the standard is yet. But when his understanding does change, we'll all be held accountable to that new standard. This is insane. And she did. As well, profusely apologize. I have come to understand far too belatedly that my hairstyle is harmful. Ah!
Starting point is 00:27:42 No, it isn't! By the way, isn't it a stereo? You've never been harmed by a hair style. That only black people can have. You've never been harmed by a hairstyle. No, I actually haven't. No. And I didn't realize that it was okay to say only blacks have dreadlocks.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Yeah. I thought that was a stereotype. There was another one of a vegan, this thing on vegan white supremacy. And now vegans are in this pattern of calling themselves white supremacist because there's apparently too many white vegans. It's very difficult to understand. I went through it last night on Studez America. Are they forcing blacks not to be vegan?
Starting point is 00:28:17 Is that what's going on here? And in fact, it starts with explaining that more blacks are vegan than whites. So I don't understand. Oh, my gosh. They go through this whole thing and they mention this one group. Thug Kitchen is the name of it. Now Thug Kitchen was developed, I guess, I've never heard of it. But it was, you know, from about six or seven years ago.
Starting point is 00:28:37 And they kind of, it was a combination basically of vegan recipes, cookbooks and such with like an attitude. Right. So there's lots of swearing basically in the middle of your recipes for whatever reason. Like a pinch of effing salt. Yeah, like exactly. It's that type of stuff. I don't know. It's a brand.
Starting point is 00:28:51 I don't even understand. So apparently it becomes very popular in this community. And then people start saying, wait a minute. Which community, Stu, are you talking about? The white supremacists is vegan community, obviously. The white supremacists. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:29:07 Good. So they become very popular and they're selling all these cookbooks. And then people start, these think pieces start coming out in all these publications about how they are, I believe Vice said they were benefiting from a form of digital blackface because... Oh my gosh. Oh my. Digital blackface.
Starting point is 00:29:26 Oh. Was in their title. Now, to me, it's racist to associate... Why are you associating thug with black people? I never have. That's not you. That's not on me. I didn't say that.
Starting point is 00:29:37 You're saying that. Can I tell you something? I can say this because I'm white and I'm married to Italians. But when I thought of a thug kid, and I thought of a get out of here. You know, I thought of a thug, you know, a mafia kind of guy. Right, yeah, yeah. And that's the thing.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Like, it's completely racist to when you hear the word thug to associate it with black people. However, these guys, these two, it's two people, they had to change it to, I think it's called bad manners food. They wouldn't they settle down? Oh, my gosh. Which, I mean, at some point, someone's going to say bad men. is also associated with some group and you're going to get pissed about that. But so they had to change their name and they, this big, again, profuse, embarrassing apology about how we fought this for too long and we are so sorry to the community.
Starting point is 00:30:31 Blah, blah, blah. It is insane. It is like a strain of like, I don't know if COVID causes insanity, but it is affecting all of us. Is it not crazy how, uh, when Paulina, the. righteous among the nation, the woman that was 16 years old and started saving Jews in Poland. Isn't it crazy how her words ring in your head, at least they do mine, all the time now, the righteous didn't suddenly become righteous. They just refused to go over the cliff with the rest of humanity. I'm looking at these things and you don't have to be a hero. You just have to say,
Starting point is 00:31:12 that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. No, I'm not going to agree with that. I mean, look at Terry. All, all, only black people can have dreadlocks because it's racist of a white. Okay, no, I'm not going to agree with that. Thug Kitchen, that's racist. No, I'm not going to agree with that. Yeah, right. I'm not with you on that.
Starting point is 00:31:30 It's ridiculous. I mean, look at Terry Cruz over the past week, who's getting destroyed because he came out and said, you know, I'm just going to judge people on, I don't care what their skin color is. I'm just going to, you know, deal with people who I think are good people regardless of skin color. And he's getting bashed for that. That used to be like,
Starting point is 00:31:45 the basis of being a human being in a good standing, right? That's just like a very basic belief that we all understand. It was the foundation of what MLK was saying to people. He would be in left his jail right. Horrified. How long until they're tearing down statues of Martin Luther King because he keeps because he said that, right? They've already defaced it.
Starting point is 00:32:04 They've already defaced one of them. They already have. Martin Luther King is not part of this. He is not part of this. There was another one that I want to show. with you today. Another couple of words that you can't say. The Rolling Stone senior writer, Jamail Smith, said yesterday that he believes the word pro-life, two words, has so often been used in service to racism and misogyny that it should be retired like the name Redskins.
Starting point is 00:32:39 So now he wants pro-life. Are you kidding me? That's racist? You know what's racist? Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood. And you are exactly the kind of person that Margaret Sanger knew she would find. If we can just not let the African American know that we're targeting their community, they'll work with us to destroy and liquidate the African American community. That's racist. That's Margaret Sanger. You want to say that the people who are saying, do you know how many black geniuses, how many black inventors, how many black heroes have been killed because of abortion? I'm proudly pro-life.
Starting point is 00:33:30 And you're going to call me racist for that. Have at it. I'm not going over the cliff with you, dude. 16 million blacks have been killed since 19. 73 in abortion. 16 million more people that we would have with us today and their children
Starting point is 00:33:51 and maybe even grandchildren by now. You think of it grows exponentially and they don't care about any of that. That's not an issue for them. You have to, I mean, the same thing that I think was going on in 1965 and 64 with Johnson.
Starting point is 00:34:10 The same thing that was going on back then, I think is happening right now. I think these guys, these white guys, are corraling all these black guys and using them, using them to destroy them. What do you think is going to happen when you destroy the nuclear family? What do you think is going to happen? We've already seen it. The, the leftists, the progressives, destroyed the black family. Destroyed it. Yep. When you see it, the when you see the poverty numbers I'm going to go over them and I went over it last night when you see the poverty numbers and and how when you actually have a mother and father
Starting point is 00:34:56 in the house black poverty beats beats or black wealth beats white wealth the number of people in poverty that are married and white is 10 percent the poverty rate for blacks who are married is 7%. If you're not married, it's like 30%. Why is that happening? Well, it wasn't like that in 1963. Sure wasn't. But by 1965, it all started to happen because they did this by design.
Starting point is 00:35:33 The people who you are in bed with right now are the ones that did it in the 1960s. They're the ones that set up Planned Parenthood. In the 1920s, what is wrong with people? Open your eyes and do some reading for the love of Pete. But that's why they don't want us to talk. That's why they want to make sure that you are too afraid to ask any question. I give you this as my testimony that you are an individual, graced with intelligence by God.
Starting point is 00:36:11 you're here for a reason, you're smart enough to figure it out, and by God Thomas Jefferson's words are right. Question with boldness, even the very existence of God. Now remember, in his day, that was the thing you couldn't question. You couldn't question God. And he said, question even the very existence of God, for if there be a God, he must surely rather honest questioning over blindfolded fear. You have a responsibility to yourself, to your life, to your children, and dare I say it, to your country and all those who died for the freedom that we are so quick to toss in the trash. You have a responsibility. Question with boldness.
Starting point is 00:37:07 And anyone who says, you can't ask that. You can't say that. You say to them, I'm not going over the cliff with the rest of humanity. Glad to hear your white privilege showing there. Thank you very much. I want to talk to a little bit. I want to talk to you about Shelley Heller and April Pollock. Now, these are people that I met, and I just love these two.
Starting point is 00:37:34 These ladies are American entrepreneurs of the highest order, and they founded a company, when they saw a need for a low-cost disposable and sustainable forehead thermometer for the consumer market. My son-in-law, who is a hypochondriac, thought for sure he had a fever yesterday. And so he left work to go get a thermometer. And he was, you know, I can't find one there. No thermometer. Everybody's out of them. Oh, she's for the love of Pete.
Starting point is 00:38:02 So these two women started their own company. It's called Temp and Toss. It's the first paper thermometer. Strip available for retail. There's no mylar. There's no battery. Everything is assembled by adults with disabilities and people in recovery. And so it helps everybody.
Starting point is 00:38:23 Now, this is something that I brought home and showed my wife and my daughter. And they were like, oh, my gosh, this is fantastic because you just put it on the forehead of your child and it gives you a consistent reading. Well, now this is even better because I've got my child, my son. son-in-law going, I think I've got a fever. Put the strip on your forehead. And they're making them now for the business world. So if you're running a business or if you're talking to the people who are running your business and they're using a thermometer, even a forehead scan, those things are not consistent. Get Temp and Toss. Go to tempentoss.com slash back to work.
Starting point is 00:39:07 They're selling them by the huge rolls now. And I think Ford is using them in their factories. They're everywhere. I love this. Started by two ladies in Ohio. Tempentoss.com slash back to work. Go there now. Tempentoss.com slash back to work.
Starting point is 00:39:30 So I don't know if you saw what Papa John's founder has just said in response to the CEO of Goya getting just nailed. He says that he believes that CEOs in America are scared of the intolerant left. Well, you should be because the intolerant left, because you're a capitalist and head of a big multinational corporation, they're going to come for you. If they get power, they're going to come for you. And they're going to take you out of your house in the middle of the night, and they will beat you to death in the streets. And they will make an example to make sure that no one else is.
Starting point is 00:40:20 is a capitalist when they're talking about overthrowing the capitalist system what do you think that means for you did you did you watch what happened in russia have you seen what happened in venezuela have you seen what happened in germany it doesn't end well but they're afraid now they're afraid so they just they hop on the bandwagon you've got to think for yourself. You have to believe and have independent critical judgment. That's what the founder of Papa Johns is saying to his fellow CEOs. So what's the number one sign of a bad home security system? Let me tell you about Rough Greens. Stu and I both use Rough Greens for our dogs, and they love it. We love it because our dogs are happy. They eat. We're not as gassy. They play more. I mean, what else have you noticed, Stu?
Starting point is 00:42:31 Well, you know, I have a very old dog who's approximately 150 years old in human years. So dog years are off the charts. Miles off the charts. And he's like one of those dogs that just kind of like looks at his food and plays with it. He dives right in on the rough greens. He eats it every single time. And he gives him more energy. He seems to be up around a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Still not a lot compared to other dogs because he's a thousand. But he gets up and he gets about. He is the Moses of dogs. But now with the probiotics and the omega oils and the everything else that go, it's not a dog food, it goes on to the dog food. They love it. They eat it. They gobble it. And they are better.
Starting point is 00:43:10 Go to roughgreens.com slash back or call the number on the bottom of the screen and get yours now. Roughgreens.com. Our dogs love it. Is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck program. Hello, America, and welcome to Thursday. Our nation is under attack. It is under attack.
Starting point is 00:43:58 All that we cherish, all that we hold dear, all that we value is under attack. And if you haven't woken up to that yet, I don't know what will wake you up. If you are awake, you need to understand who is doing this, how well coordinated it is, and you have to understand there is a work against our faith, our church, our standards, but also against the family. Last night, I showed you how Black Lives Matter is working to dismantle the nuclear family structure. It has to be destroyed.
Starting point is 00:44:36 They know this because that's what Mark's taught. They know that if the family is intact, you can't control people and you also can't keep them in poverty. Well, I'm going to go a step further today, and I want to show you that and provide some answers for you. This is a really important hour. Make sure you're with us. Give us 20 minutes, and we'll give you an hour and a half of information compared to, everybody else. We begin in one minute. This is the Glenn Beck program.

A lot of the time, money saving apps, you know, like this, are making their own money by harvesting and selling your information to,
Starting point is 00:45:51 uh, to other sources. Honey does not do that. They make their money entirely by working with the companies who support them so your data is safe. And those, those companies that support them are all the companies that you want. Um, nearly every online store, Walmart, DoorDash, Home Depot, Lulu Lemon, Macy's, a whole lot more. They have found, for people like you, over $2 billion now in savings, they have 100,000 five-star reviews at Google. Not getting honey is literally just passing up money, free money. Honey is free to use.

So the traditional nuclear family is under attack like never before. And we've been talking about how Black Lives Matter the organization. It's Black Lives Inc. now with $1.6 billion. Billion dollars. Their mission is to dismantle cisgender privilege. And the nuclear family structure. That's just one of their Marxist ideas. But it is one that is on their website and you can read about it. And they're not the only ones targeting the family. I want you to,
Starting point is 00:47:26 I want you to understand this is well coordinated and well financed. And spooky dude is hanging around all of these. Well financed and well coordinated and well placed soldiers. Good old fashion American elite progressives have decided that the family needs to be put down. So where's it coming from? And what do they want? Well, we know it's coming from the college professors. I'm going to share some stuff with you next hour that you need to know about our college system. It's been established that Marxists are out in force now beating the drum of the end of capitalism, the end of the American standard of the American way of life and the family. Now, they're doing this by taking advantage of the evil system to stay in business.
Starting point is 00:48:23 And they insist that America clearly needs to get rid of capitalism. And according to the feminist professor Sophia Lewis, the only way to do it is to abolish the family. She said, that's something I want to challenge. The idea is that babies belong to anyone, the idea that the product of a gestational labor gets transferred as property to a set of people. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:48:52 She says nuclear families are for training us up to be workers, training us to be inhabitants of a binary gendered and racially stratified system, training us not to be queer. Wow, I didn't think you could be trained not to be queer. I would support policies that expand the number of people who are socially and legally recognized as central fundamental players in the constitution of a person. In her view, families help perpetuate capitalism, passing wealth and property through the family trees, concentrating wealth, causing all of the impression in the world. And if you just get rid of the
Starting point is 00:49:28 traditional family, you'll get rid of capitalism. Then the collective state can raise all of the kids, and we just get one giant, happy communist family. Isn't that great? Now, her idea it's not just her. She's not alone, and she's not original. She and others are just repackaging marks and angles. It's no surprise that she would be doing this, and she was the one who translated into English, the German book, Communism for Kids. Hey, kids, look what we're going to read tonight. Yay! Capitalism is not the only problem, however, with families, of course. Then it's your insane family privilege. You have to get rid of that, too. George Mason University professor, Bethany
Starting point is 00:50:15 Latique says, our society values and privileges, heterosexual marriages over other relationships, but not by recognizing and valuing diverse family configurations under the law. Some family forms are delegitimized and marginalized. Their disadvantaged, married couples are the beneficiaries of privilege, and it's unduly and unfairly enriched. The marriage institution was designed by white heterosexual men to maintain their power and social economic dominance in control over the other. You know, I think it was ordained by God, but, you know, what do I know? So if you're keeping track so far, the major evils caused by the family, capitalism, and white heterosexual supremacy. But those are just a couple of kooky professors, right? Well, let me tell you,
Starting point is 00:51:09 First of all, I got those quotes from a new organization called Family Story. It's a five-year-old think tank in Washington, D.C., founded by a woman named Nicole Rogers. She says we could get rid of those annoying nuclear families if it weren't for those darn evangelical groups like Focus on the Family and Family Research Council. She blames them for stifling the feminist movement, pushing biblical traditional family values, and attacking abortion. Okay. So more abortion, less Christians, no Bible, no families. Wow, this looks great. She says this is just antiquated to describe old-fashioned marriage between a man and a woman in love. She says if we just stop promoting traditional marriage, we could get rid of all of the inequality in America. Now, the top priority of her little think tank called Family Story is exposing the traditional family machine and its harms. And she's got all kinds of videos that kids can watch. It's wonderful.
Starting point is 00:52:16 Another family story priority is research. Coming up with their own studies that help their narratives, like this study, I think, is good. The case against marriage fundamentalism. Embracing family justice for all documents, for all documents how conservatives with the help from centrist and liberals have promoted the supremacy of the married family to the detriment of historically marginalized people and progressive policy goals. According to Family Story, the nuclear family is a dubious institution promoted by Christians and conservatives.
Starting point is 00:52:51 Now, she also works with journalists in that great. To get rid of offensive jargon of family formation, like out of wedlock birth, can't have any of that. Family Story promotes every type of family, imaginable, except for the traditional family. They have major ties with far-left players and causes. The advisory board is made up of three women. Brianna Cotter, who is the head of social impact at Viacom, CBS, and entertainment brands.
Starting point is 00:53:27 So she's pumping all of this kind of stuff into MTV and other channels that she has access to. Also, Family Story has another advisor. Her name is Julie Kohler. She's the senior advisor at Democracy Alliance, the largest network of donors dedicated to building the progressive movement in the United States. We talked about them on a couple of shows like two Wednesdays, I think, passed. It is a group that was started by, say it with me, George Soros in 2005. He got a group of 70 millionaires and billionaires.
Starting point is 00:54:06 to get progressives elected and further a socialist agenda. The third family story member is Simone Ward, a political consultant who was actually the Florida State Director for Hillary for America. She'll never shake that. She also served as the vice president of Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood of New York. So family story is a social impact agency called Purpose, which was founded by an Australian. who also co-founded Avaz.org.
Starting point is 00:54:40 That's another organization receiving funding from George Soros to become the global counterpart to move on.org, and it pushes far-left policies around the world, including anti-Israeli propaganda. All of this, all of this is happening right now. There's also another organization. Well, purpose, first of all, let me tell you the organizations that they support,
Starting point is 00:55:06 and include under their umbrella, every town for gun safety, that's the Michael Bloomberg thing, all access, a coalition lobbying for increased abortions, athlete ally, which works to ensure transgender athletes get to participate in sports. And all of that, all of that is working right now with millions and millions and millions of along with the $1.6 billion from BLM to destroy the traditional marriage, to enhance the number of abortions, and to normalize and to teach our children that they don't have to be born this way. They can just think differently and try all these different things out.
Starting point is 00:56:00 The family is under attack, and it's under. under attack, in a way it's never been under attack before. But I'm going to have set the record straight on what the family actually means and what actually happened to us and what happened to the family. Woo, buckle up. That's coming in one minute. Americanfinancing.com.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Call them now. 10 seconds. Station ID. Now, let me tell you the truth about families and the black family in particular, and then tell you exactly where this problem is coming from. Let's start with the stats. 90% of homeless and runaway children were raised in fatherless homes. 71% of pregnant teenagers were raised in fatherless homes.
Starting point is 00:58:31 63% of youth suicides were raised in fatherless homes. 71% of high school dropouts came from, from a house without a dad. 70% of juveniles in in-state operated facilities have no father. Fatherless children are twice as likely to go to jail, twice as likely to have some sort of psychiatric disease, twice as likely to abuse alcohol, and four times more likely to abuse drugs.
Starting point is 00:59:00 If you are raised in two-parent household, the odds of you succeeding are at a dramatically higher. rate. While groups like Black Lives Matter continue to dismantle the nuclear family, this is not going to help the black community, the white community, or any kind of society. In the late 1800s, 70 to 80 percent of black families were two parents. Now, this is something that you've not heard most likely before because, you know, the slaves, they broke up families. In the late 1880s or in the late 1800s, 70 to 80% of black families were two parents. As soon as slavery stopped, they wanted to find their family, their wife, their children, the father. And they did.
Starting point is 00:59:52 By 1950, only 18% were single parent. Now, if you look at just the stats from 2016, which are the latest. If you're watching Blaze TV, you'll see this. Over half of all black children, now live with a single parent. This has devastating results on black kids. 80% of black children living in poverty live in a single parent home. Compare that to 12% living in two-parent households. This is the national census data. Shows you the poverty breakdown, white, black, Asian, Hispanic.
Starting point is 01:00:31 The national average as a whole is 11.8%. White poverty was 10.1%. Black double that at 20.8%. So it's systematic racism. Well, let's look at the numbers a little closer. If you add in the variable of black two-parent households, how are black married couples doing? The poverty rate drops to 7.1%.
Starting point is 01:01:02 From 20 to 7.1. That means they're doing better than the next. national average, they're doing better than white people as a whole. Over 54% of black children now are growing up in single parent homes, and it's rising. 80% of those will live in poverty. All of these horrifying statistics regarding single parent children, that's their reality. Meanwhile, traditional black families are thriving. We don't have a systematic racism problem.
Starting point is 01:01:37 we have a catastrophic systematic assault on the traditional family, and the progressive left couldn't be happier about it. Take a look at another chart. The amount of children born to married couples has stayed fairly consistent over the past few decades, but in 1965, the amount of single-parent-born children skyrocketed from 3.3 in 1965 to 13.2 by 2012. Now what happened the year before this began? The war on poverty. It should be called the war on the African American. The progressive utopia was just another way to liquidate the black man.
Starting point is 01:02:25 It was the birth of the modern welfare state. This is where it all began. This is what multiple black leaders today are now trying to show the black community. and I've got one on in just a few minutes. The left created a system that literally began to systematically destroy black families. They subsidized unwed pregnancy. They made a system that it actually punishes single parents if they get married. It's financially more beneficial for a single mom to stay on welfare to marry and add his level income to the family.
Starting point is 01:03:01 Heritage Foundation, a conservative group, ran the numbers on this. They found that a single mom with two children who earns $15,000 a year would receive $5,200 a year in food stamps. But if she marries a father who also has a $15,000 income, the $5,200 from the government goes to zero. It's the same across all government means-tested welfare benefits. That's why people many times choose to remain unwed. and it is devastating to the African American. We see them on TV every day. Pelosi, Biden, Schumer, all of them.
Starting point is 01:03:44 It's not our policies, it's racism. They just want you to vote for them in November so they can double down on the failures from the past 56 years. And it's not a failure to them. This, I truly believe, is no, different from what they did in 1865 to what the Democrats did in 1965. When will you wake?
Starting point is 01:04:13 How long will we all be duped? As long as the welfare state is allowed to exist and the current Democratic Party continues to push this country farther down that road, we are not a free nation. This is the truth of the matter. A self-sufficient family in control of their own finances and property and destiny stands directly in the path of their power. Grab your power as an individual and a family
Starting point is 01:04:43 and stand to protect the family. It is under a well-financed and coordinated attack. This is the Glenn Beck program. All right. Let me tell you about relief factor. Gary is the guy you'd expect to see in a health food store, you know, checking to make sure everything in his car was exactly and actually really good for him.
Starting point is 01:05:04 He asks, you know, question, well, what about the, they're cold health nuts for a reason, you know. You might see him at the gym doing his daily workout, and, you know, he's got the enthusiasm that you both love and hate when you see it. But Gary hit a real rough patch. He first began developing pain in his shoulder and then eventually his knees in his lower back, and it got so bad he wasn't sure that he was even going to be working out anymore or could work out, which would be a dream come true. He found out about relief factor, drawn to the fact that its ingredients were all botanical. Sure enough, within weeks of starting to take it, he got his life back. Guess what? You could too.
Starting point is 01:05:40 I did. Relief factor, it's not a drug, developed by doctors, and 70% of the people who try Relief Factor go on to order more because it works. Try the three-week quick start trial. It is a trial pack that's 1995. Remember, 70% of the people who try it go on to order more because it works. Relieffactor.com or call 800, 583,84. Do it now.
Starting point is 01:06:06 You can see everything Glenn just talked about with the receipts on the show. BlazTV.com slash Glenn. Use the promo code save the family and save 20 bucks. I want to introduce you to a real civil rights leader. I mean, these civil rights leaders, they are, they're an abomination. They really are. This is a real civil rights leader. He's the national chairman of the Congress of Racial Equality.
Starting point is 01:06:34 he's the national chairman of Corps, one of the oldest civil rights organizations in the country. Corps was founded, I think, in the 1940s, one of the big four civil rights groups that was there, the protests for the Jim Crow laws and the freedom rides in the 1960s and community development in the 1990s. These guys are the real deal. and Roger Inus, or sorry, Nigerianus is with us now. Niger, how are you, sir? I'm doing great, Glenn. Great to be on with you again.
Starting point is 01:07:12 So I wanted to talk to you a little bit about the destruction of the family and the, what is now being called the white culture, which I thought was just the American culture. And engaged with the audience here on how we can help. What do we do about this besides just stand up and not accept it? Actually, that's a very important step one, because you have so many people in this cancel culture, a vicious cancel culture, that are intimidated and will not stand up. You know, they will lose friendships. They will, actually, as opposed to losing friendships or losing relations with family, they'll just shut up and be intimidated. and we can't do that. We cannot allow that. If you cannot have a reasonable, truthful dialogue with a friend that you happen to disagree with,
Starting point is 01:08:11 then that person was never really your friend. And you're doing them a disservice by not telling them how you really feel on these types of questions. Look, Glenn, the biggest crisis facing the black community programs of the 1960s, the Great Society, is the breakdown. In some years, 80% raised in a two-parent household. their parents. You know, that was in the black community consistently until the 1960s and until the Great Society programs. And then Great Society programs that I think the manifestation of those Great Society programs was to destroy the black family, they chased the black man
Starting point is 01:09:27 out of the household and to create a dependent community that is very, very day. I'm sorry, Nigra, but I am convinced that this program is so clearly so clearly bad for the family that I just don't believe that the heart was in the right place. Now, maybe with LBJ, but I just don't think so. How did these guys who were hardcore racist, these progressives who had spent decades
Starting point is 01:10:03 trying to destroy the family, come up with something and think that this was really going to be good? They had a change of heart that quickly, and the results are so devastating. I mean, when you put in the policies to keep a father out of the home and punish people who are married, that's exactly what the slave owners did. The slave owners destroyed the family. They broke the family up.
Starting point is 01:10:31 What is the difference between what the slave owners were doing, what they were doing in 1965 with the welfare, and what Black Lives Matter is doing right now? Well, as you know, Glenn, if you go to the book, Black Lives Matter website. This isn't Glenn Beck saying this. This isn't Niger Innocentis. You go to the Black Lives Matter website, and part of their manifesto is the deconstruction of the, what they call the Western ascribed nuclear family. That is one of their goals. And it is a Marxist goal. I think in the case of the LBJs and these progressives that you speak of, you know, a lot of folk within a black community, my father among them and many other leaders of Reverend Bill Owens were deeply suspicious of
Starting point is 01:11:21 these great society dependency program. The motivations, meaning that their heart might have been in the right place, but it was misguided, or their heart was in a very racist place. Is he there? Practical effect was the destruction of the black family. And that has had such negative social manifestations that have been born out of that, that were, seeing to this very day. High crime rates, low achievement in schools among certain populations. I mean, science, you know, liberals always talk about follow the science, follow the science. Well, the science dictates that any child, not just black, but white, Hispanic, Asian American
Starting point is 01:12:09 child, that that child stands a better chance of having a productive life staying out of crime, having children out of what black themselves if they are raised in a two-parent household. So let me let me let me talk about another thing that has come out of this progressive movement. And you know what? We're clear on the progressive movement in the 1920s, I believe. You're with me on that, that it was racist and their intent was to destroy the way. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:12:46 And we know this now because it's the Marxist philosophy, and they are saying they're trying to do these things. things. But one of the things that has happened is, you know, I know my kids, if I don't expect something from them, they'll never achieve it. They'll never, I mean, they won't excel if I don't accept it, if I, if I don't expect it from them. And that doesn't mean that I, you know, punish them if they don't, you know, meet my standards or whatever, but you hold a higher standard. There is something that was released yesterday with taxpayer dollars from the Smithsonian that talks about the white culture in America. And you and I have talked about this.
Starting point is 01:13:26 Most people don't know. And I'm going to post it at glenbeck.com here in a few minutes so you can see it. I talked about it last night on the TV show. And that's a much watch. It's on demand now at Blaze TV. But the Smithsonian is saying that this is the white culture in the United States. Rugged individualism, family structure, emphasis on the scientific method, emphasis on knowing our history,
Starting point is 01:13:53 Protestant work ethic, where Judeo-Christian values. I mean, this is what built America. White culture, black culture. It doesn't matter. It's the culture that builds stronger people and a stable society. Isn't this just another attack?
Starting point is 01:14:13 By naming this white culture, isn't this another attack saying, don't strive, don't do any of those? things. We'll just give it to you. It is in many ways, Glenn, and I mean, and I'm ashamed to the fact that this is coming out of the African-American Museum of History, which is a beautiful museum. I had the opportunity, along with the number of senators and congressmen and their staff members, to be at the grand opening. And it's a beautiful museum. And the fact that this nonsense, that this poison is coming out of that. That museum is frightening. Glenn, in many ways, it's world. Black community was being punished. We knew we were being discriminated against, and we knew that we had to fight it.
Starting point is 01:15:16 We are given just the reverse. When a little boy and a little girl wakes up every day thinking that they are destined to fail because there's a racist, white person coming out to get them under every car. Every young American needs to know that they are in the greatest. country in the history of the world with the greatest opportunity in the history. That's why you've got people from the West Indies that are desperately trying to get into the United States. And to put that poison into the brain of young black children is a disgrace. And I will make a controversial statement that it is worse than segregation because it gives the illusion that you're
Starting point is 01:16:18 doing something in the interest of black folk. and let me just say this, Niger, don't worry if your kids aren't so paranoid that they can't make it in this culture. They don't have to worry about making it because they'll all be dead in 12 years because of global warming. My gosh, what a world they're creating for these kids. Well, is that Joe Biden or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? I forget which one. Niger, help me out on this. Who are the black leaders that are standing and are?
Starting point is 01:16:50 are doing something in the communities to wake their communities up. How can we support them? I appreciate you having myself and Coral. You've had Bob Woodson a great, great leader. He is great. Actually, a colleague, my father, he has this 1776 broader black leaders, including Glenn Lowry and a number of others that are a part of. And what he's doing is not only writing about the real founding of our country,
Starting point is 01:17:24 and positive and affirmative one, but they're trying to get that curriculum into the schools to combat the progressive nonsense and the critical race theory nonsense that is being promoted in public schools and in universities all across this country. And, Glenn, I said this to you before. I think we need to write a formal letter. In fact, I'll lead the effort with your support and help, I hope, to write. write a letter to Betsy DeVos and to the president of the United States saying that we must combat this paranoia that's being promoted, this 1619 project nonsense, this critical race theory
Starting point is 01:18:12 that is like a virus infecting our children all across the country. I am with you, and I know this audience will be with you, and I just did an interview with Betsy DeVos about a month ago, she doesn't do any interviews. And we spent about an hour together. And I will make sure that she gets that letter. And I be more than happy, and the audience I know would support it as well. I'm going to write you a letter probably here in the break because there are some other things that I want to talk to you about. I, I, I, I, we need to start mobilizing, um, people, uh, because people don't know what to do.
Starting point is 01:18:55 And we are under such attack. Uh, and there needs to be a coalition of good people, uh, like Martin Luther King, like your dad had in the 60s that, that, that were not violence, were for love. They were for peace and harmony, but they were also for, you know, Martin Luther King. it wasn't controversial. It was then, but it wasn't, it's not controversial to say America, live up to your promise. Nowhere is anyone talking about a more perfect nation. And that's what Martin Luther King was talking about. And there needs to be a coalition that stands because there are too many cowards in this country right now who are just too afraid.
Starting point is 01:19:44 And by the way, I guess who's going to be a part of this coalition? And it's my sneaking suspicion and hopefully not naive optimism. But I get the feeling that a number of old-fashioned liberals, not the so-called new progressives today, but old-fashioned Hubert Humphrey liberals will join this coalition because they know what's going on in the country is just wrong. You know, I will stand with any man who stands with the Bill of Rights. If you stand with the Bill of Rights, give me, give me, nine out of the 10. You know what I mean? Eight out of the ten. Absolutely. If you stand for the Bill of Rights,
Starting point is 01:20:24 I will stand with any man. And that's where we need to come together. Niger Innes, civil rights leader, national chairman of the Congress of racial equality, otherwise known as Corps. Thank you so much for being
Starting point is 01:20:38 on the program. Glenn, it's a pleasure and I look forward to working with you. Thank you. So it's not all bad out there. A lot of places, are reopening and at least some aspects of life are starting to return to normal. One of those things is we have to pay attention to the way we look again.
Starting point is 01:20:59 The virus catcher on your face, not the mask, the beard needs to be dealt with. And the answer is shave secret. Shave secret is an oil. It's not a foam. And it helps to reduce or eliminate all types of shaving irritations for men and women. Things like ingrown hairs, shave bumps, redneck, bikini bumps, nicks and cuts. Stephen wrote in, he said, The oils and shave secret leave my face nice and smooth.
Starting point is 01:21:23 It smells nice. There's no need for after shave. Shave secret. 100% natural, easy to use and compact. It's great for travel. 100% made in the USA, nothing from China in there, and it's backed with 100% money back guarantee. Shave secret.
Starting point is 01:21:41 It's the preparation, not the blade. That's the secret. Shave secret, available regionally at H. Wegmans, Walmart, and Amazon, or you can go to shavesecret.com and use the promo code back. Let them know that I sent you shavesecret.com promo code back. So I don't know if you've heard the latest Marxist that wants Joe Biden in the White House. We'll try to get to that next hour. I mean, she's great.
Starting point is 01:22:18 You know, terrorist, Marxist, absolute radical. Is she now on the campaign trail for Joe Biden? Kind of an interesting story on that one. Also, I want to share something from somebody who attended our leadership training program in 2017 from Mercury 1. He's a high school history teacher in Arkansas, teaches AP U.S. history, along with other courses. He just saw something that he felt everyone needs to know about and how this is going to change. even more so what history is being taught and you need to stand guard in your own community we'll tell you about that in one minute you've heard me talk about my Tocovus boots and how much
Starting point is 01:23:09 I love them and what a great company they come from it's a small business that's doing things the right way down here in Texas well given the challenges that we're going through as a country Tocovus has asked me to speak about something else that comes to mind every time I put on my Ticovis boots the cowboy now you know I'm not a a working cowboy, but I know some of those guys, and not being one of them, I wouldn't pretend to be. But what I see in them, I see in other people too, because in many ways, cowboy is just a mindset, an uncompromising can-do attitude, a willingness to help even when it's really hard. And most of all, the cowboy knows that the good guys always win in the end.
Starting point is 01:23:48 So as you begin the hard work of bootstrap in this country and economy back into shape, Tocovis has the boots you need. Find your pair at Tocovis.com. T-E-C-O-V-A-S dot com slash Beck. Tocovus.com slash Beck. And what do you say? Let's all be cowboys. This is the Glymbach program.
Starting point is 01:24:11 Thank you so much, Hillary. Have you noticed your hair isn't looking? Not you, Hillary, but I'm asking, your hair's beautiful. But if you happen to think that your hair isn't as full as it used to be, you know, you realize that your hair is going away and it's not fun to do. So talk about options here. You can go to your doctor for a hair loss treatment prescription and then visit the pharmacy.

But Keeps offers the generic versions for about half of cost. And one more thing you're going to love about Keeves. It's all online. It's nice and easy. Starting point is 01:25:32 You'd be showing some enthusiasm right about right now. Right now. The show is going to begin last hour. Stand by. The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck program. Well, it's a good thing that we have pink news. out there to give you
Starting point is 01:26:18 stories like this the UK's biggest cervical cancer charity has just shut down a disgustingly transphobic lie that only females can get cervical cancer
Starting point is 01:26:34 but wouldn't you need a certain body part no trans men trans masculine people intersex people non-binary people. Today, even some trans women who have gotten gender confirmation surgery, they can all get cervical cancer. So people who were born women can get cervical cancer?
Starting point is 01:27:01 Do you imagine what a doctor would say to you? If you walked in there and you were like, hey, I think I got cervical cancer. Could you check my cervix for me? No. No. And would that doctor say no? Well, I don't think they would say no to check, but I think they would note that, you know. You're a guy and you don't have a cervix? See, I'm confused.
Starting point is 01:27:26 I'm thinking you're saying it's a woman who is now transition to a man who is saying I might have cerebral cancel. You're saying it's a man. No, I could be a transmasculine person or an intersex person. Explain to me, Glenn, a transmasculine. Just real quick before the commercial. I don't, I mean, I'm not going to sit here and. Toy with you, you racist, sexist. Got it.
Starting point is 01:27:50 I think I might be transmasculate. Somebody that maybe should be masculine that's really not. I don't really know, but it sounds like a category I might fall into. I will take your word for it. But even if I, even if I do fall into that category, I will admit I'm not going over the cliff with the rest of humanity. I can't get, I can't get cervical cancer. Because I don't have a cervix! This is the Glenn Beck program.
Starting point is 01:28:24 Gosh. Now, how often do you point out something you've bought with real justifiable pride? How often you use that product that actually generates that? Hmm. I'm trying to think of it. Look, you can get something right now, a product that will actually give you a bit of pride that you're doing something. You're going to have your phone service.
Starting point is 01:28:57 When you make the switch to Patriot Mobile, you will know you're actually doing something. It's not about feeling good. It is about the pride of doing something that actually matters. Patriot Mobile shares your values, and unlike a lot of the big carriers, they don't donate money to leftist causes like Planned Parenthood. In fact, they donate a portion of their profits to conservative, causes. With Patriot Mobile, you're going to get the same reliable nationwide service because everybody's on the same towers now. And you're also going to be supporting a company that actually loves this country and doesn't want to fundamentally transform it. They are standing with you
Starting point is 01:29:37 and they're putting their money where their mouth is. This is a double whammy. Not only are you standing with somebody who believes in the same thing you do and they're out on the front line charging in that direction. But also, you are not giving money to companies that are taking their profits and fighting against you while you're sleeping. Patriotmobile.com. Switch right now. Patriotmobile.com slash Beck. Their customized plans start at just 25 bucks. Do it now. I want to share something with you. If you really want to do something that makes a difference, you have to start looking to support groups that are working in the same direction. Do you know that Black Lives Matter now has, coffer of $1.6 billion.
Starting point is 01:31:07 $1.6 billion. We had nothing like that on our side. Who on the right has that? Who's fighting for the Constitution that has that? Right now, we are at Mercury 1. We are in the middle of our teacher training sessions, where we are taking and training teachers. We have a very exciting announcement on that coming hopefully next month. But it is a jam-packed session. We have teachers from all over the country that are learning about our true history.
Starting point is 01:31:47 And I just got one in from a guy who was part of this training a couple of years ago. I don't want to give his name. He says, I'm a high school teacher. in a state, I don't want to say, where I teach AP U.S. history along with several other history courses. Gosh, can I just thinking, what a world we live in where this guy is going to tell me something here and tell you something that is happening in the schools that is undermining our Constitution and our country. And I don't feel comfortable saying his name or even the state.
Starting point is 01:32:22 That's how bad things are right now. I discovered something yesterday, which I found to be very disturbing. and hoping that Glenn's team would become aware of this. And I was made aware of this because of this email, and I want to make you aware of it. Each year, my AP U.S. history students take an exam, which is given by the college board, in order to determine whether they receive college credit for taking my class.
Starting point is 01:32:53 Yesterday, I was checking my student scores on their annual AP U.S. history exam. when I arrived at the college board homepage. I was met with the attached message. This is really troubling to me because this organization has a lot of influence on what is taught in APUS history classes across the country. Not only are they pushing a false narrative onto teachers and students around the nation,
Starting point is 01:33:18 but they are openly supporting radical organizations such as BLM and the color of change with funds that are largely given to them by public schools and parents. I want to make you aware of this because the college board wheels a lot of power in our schools by heading up the AP programs and schools across the nation. I am hoping to raise as much awareness of this as I can because I'm very concerned about what is being taught to America's students in their history classrooms. Okay, so here's what,
Starting point is 01:33:52 here's what when he went on to the college board website, he found this. We are the black employees. This is the first thing that comes up if you go to the website. We are the black employees of the college board. We are hurting both individually and collectively. We have spent this week meeting every day as a community. We have shared our stories with one another, our pain, our rage and sometime our hopes.
Starting point is 01:34:24 We are the leaders of the college board, and all the other leaders of the college board have listened while we spoke. We are not okay. We are in terrible fear for the safety of our own children and the students we serve. We know how quickly black children go from being cute to being targets. This is such garbage. The recent killings of black Americans, in the street and in their homes by police and others have haunted all of us with the worst memories from our own lives.
Starting point is 01:35:02 Our country needs to do so much better. COVID-19 has already taken a disproportionate number of our elders and some of our younger brothers and sisters. Black students everywhere will navigate a harsher future strained by violence and loss. How many more promising futures will be lost in the days, months, and years to come? We have assembled to grieve, and we will now assemble to act. Our organization's purpose is for all students to own their future. And if black students' futures do not matter, our purpose is broken. This is your college board.
Starting point is 01:35:42 We and the leaders of the college board who are not black join today in our commitment. We condemn the killings of black people that have made the news and witness the daily cruelties that often go unseen. We have seen that the year to come offers perils for all students navigating to college, but most of all for students of color. How? How? How? I'd really like to know. Did you see what happened at the University of Pennsylvania? Yesterday we talked about it. Conservatives. Students who are concerned. conservative are targets. They couldn't even say your views are welcome at the University of Pennsylvania. Rights are being targeted.
Starting point is 01:36:29 Penn State. Thank you. We condone the, we condemn the killings of black people. As a first step, the college board will make donations of $25,000 to the Jackie Robinson Foundation to propel black students to college and a $25,000 grant to Color of Change. So you know, Color of Change led the boycott of me when I was at Fox. This is a, this is not, Color of Change now is just accepted as by everybody is so great. It's like the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Starting point is 01:37:09 No, it's a radical group to lift the voices of people of color. Additionally, we will match all employee donations to these causes. We will do more, but today we share our tears, our rage, and our resolve. That's at college board.org. Our students, all of our children, black, white, Asian, all of them, are in danger. They are in danger in elementary school. They are in danger in your... History classes already history is not taught.
Starting point is 01:37:50 Now they're going to start teaching the 1619 project. Now they are already teaching our children about the glories of Black Lives Matter. We are in trouble. Our America is under attack. America is at war with itself. and whether or not we come out of that we're going to come out of this we are going to come out of this but I warn you if we become a nation that is built on the principles that we are seeing now from these leftist Marxist revolutionaries these racists that are in our streets right now
Starting point is 01:38:44 we will become the most evil nation ever on the face of the earth. We will make the Germans look like rookies. We will bring more death and destruction. I wouldn't be surprised if the Antichrist came from the United States, quite honestly. This is evil on what is happening. And we have a choice right now, and there are no bleachers on this game. there's nobody that's you're going to be on one side or the other you're going to be you will have to be and you know you know they they um in germany there are so many people that don't
Starting point is 01:39:33 talk about their family history because their family history was either they were on the wrong side or they were cowards and they just went along with it and the shame that they have lived with, they will pay an eternal price for their cowardice. But this is different. This will not only include the destruction of Israel, the gulags and camps and re-education and death that every totalitarian socialist government, whether it is international socialism, or national socialism, they all do the same thing. No, this is happy Sweden.
Starting point is 01:40:23 Do you see them shutting people up like this in Sweden? This is a terrorist group that is trying to make you afraid. And we will become so dark and so sinister. We will be a plague on the people of Earth. And we will be responsible not only for the loss of human rights, that have taken us thousands of years to get to. We will be responsible for the loss of those rights, but we will also be responsible for all of the deaths
Starting point is 01:41:06 that will come from this nation. And it starts with our children. I feel, there are times that I feel like I'm a good dad, and then there are times that I just like, I suck. I talked to my kids yesterday, and I said, you've got to watch the show kids. And they said, okay, well, dad, can we talk about it too? And I said, I can't do it today.
Starting point is 01:41:38 I just can't. I just, I am, I know more than you guys do. I'm talking about my kids. I said, I research this stuff. I've been doing it for 20 years and it's all here. Now, everything I saw is here. And I'm spending six hours a day reading and thinking and trying to come up with solutions and seeing the evil that is out there.
Starting point is 01:42:02 I can't do it. I can't do it. You've got to watch the show, and then maybe once a week we can talk about it or something. And that's a horrible dad. Because what we do within the walls of our own home, that's much more important than anything I'm doing, anything that you're doing. What we do with our children, my parents let us down. All of our parents, if you're my age, they let us down. they let us down
Starting point is 01:42:39 those who were parents that grew up in the 60s that were part of the hippie generation they let us down they let the country down some of them I think of Clintons and Sol Olinsky and all of those people they knew what they were doing
Starting point is 01:42:57 Barack Obama he knows what he was doing when he said fundamentally transform America my parents didn't they thought this was just going to be you know, like when they grew up. It wasn't. It wasn't. And we can't make that same mistake
Starting point is 01:43:12 and think that our schools are like when we grew up, that our colleges are like when we went to college, because it's not. And I'll prove it to you. In one minute. Stand by. So unless you're Chuck Norris, you know, and you live in your house so the house feels safer, it's probably
Starting point is 01:43:34 a good idea to have a home security system. The world has always been a crazy place, but lately the world's not taking its meds, and it is really nuts. So don't settle for just a competent system for home security. Don't commit yourself to some expensive contract with a system that's hard to set up. You can have a state-of-the-art affordable, easy to understand, easy to set up, no contract, 50 cents a day, home security. This is the future, and the future is now. And we all need to protect our house, our stuff, and our family.

You can just go to Mercury1.org. As I said, we are teaching a whole bunch of teachers right now. We would like to do this year round. We can't afford it at this point.
Starting point is 01:45:16 and then we also are doing all of the 18 to 24-year-olds in the month of August, and it is a full slate. We could use your help at mercury1.org. Now, what our kids are facing when they get to college, a senior at Fordham University has provided campus reform, another organization you can help out, with letters he received from the school's dean of students, notifying him that two posts that he shared on his personal social media violated the university
Starting point is 01:45:53 student conduct code and he has been placed on probation. Austin Tong provided campus reform with two letters he received from Fordham University Dean of Students, Keith Eldridge. The first letter dated June 8th allegedly informed Tong that the university had launched in an investigation to determine whether his two Instagram posts violated university policy. I hope to use my punishment, he said, as a milestone and a reflection of the constitutional crisis we're now facing as a society. His first post shared on his Instagram account, showed a picture of David Doran. Now, he is the retired African-American police captain that was shot while defending a friend's pawn shop. Remember when that violence was
Starting point is 01:46:44 happening in St. Louis, and it just had his picture, and then a caption that said, y'all a bunch of hypocrites. His second just had, don't tread on me. He was standing with a legally owned automatic or semi-automatic weapon. It was pointed down everything. He said, Just don't tread on me, and he used the hashtag 1989-64 for T. Enaman Square. More in a minute. You won't believe what happened to this kid. Takova, somewhere in America right now, within the sound of my voice, there is a man sitting at the foot of his bed enjoying the quiet ticking of the clock down the hallway as the morning begins its slow job of painting light across the windows.
Starting point is 01:47:36 Outside, the world is raging, despite its politics and sickness and weakness and. rage. It has no power within the walls of his house. He built the walls with his own two hands, and as of this moment, every person he holds most dear sleeps beneath its roof. He built the house the same way he's tried to do everything in his life with integrity, honesty, the intimate familiarity with hard work. It served him well to be this way, and it created for his family a fine, solid home filled with love and good memories. Well, he's up now, still listening just to the ticking of the clock and he's slowly dressing saving the best part for last. His pair
Starting point is 01:48:15 of Tocovus boots which are filled with integrity. Fine leather and 200 handmade steps. What a fine way to start the day. Find your pair of Tocovus boots at Toccovus.com. T-E-C-O-V-A-S dot com slash Beck. Can't miss Glenn show from last night.
Starting point is 01:48:32 Go to blaz-tvay.com slash Glenn. Use the promo code. Save the family. Save 20 bucks. So here is this this immigrant, this Asian immigrant to America, who is in his final year at Fordham, he is now in trouble at Fordham University because he posted two pictures on Instagram. The first one was the picture of David Dorn, retired African American police captain that was shot protecting that pawn shop in St. Louis. The caption, all he wrote was, y'all are a bunch of hypocrites.
Starting point is 01:49:18 Black Lives Matter. He didn't put Black Lives Matter, but that's, I'm sure, what he meant. You were saying Black Lives Matter, but you'll go in and shoot this black retired police captain. Then the next thing he did is he posted a picture of him in his backyard with a semi-automatic rifle. He's got his finger. he's clearly well trained. He has his finger exactly where it should be. He's pointing it down.
Starting point is 01:49:46 It's not intimidating. It's just him standing with a legally owned, constitutionally mandated right to be able to own the gun. It's just a picture. And he wrote, don't tread on me. Hashtag, 1989, 64. Okay, what's 198964? Well, it was June 8th. No, sorry, it was in 1984.
Starting point is 01:50:19 I don't have the date now. It was in 1984, or 1989, that he had the Tiananmen Square incident in China. And so his hashtag was to support those dissidents in China and to remember what was happening in Hong Kong. and he said, I want to honor the memory of an important Chinese democracy movement and the appreciation of the right to bear arms in America. As an immigrant, a big beauty of America to me is the right it gives its citizens to bear arms, not just to protect themselves, but also to keep the government in check.
Starting point is 01:50:56 Well, he just got another letter in from Fordham University. He has violated regulations regarding bias and hate crimes. through his threats and intimidation and disorderly conduct. Now here's what his discipline is. Because of those two posts, his probation lasts until he graduates. He is forbidden from representing the university in any official capacity. This includes a ban on him running for or holding leadership roles in student organizations and participation in varsity or sports clubs.
Starting point is 01:51:35 his access to the university campus without permission from the dean has been restricted. He's required to complete the rest of his courses online. He can't go back to school. He also has to undergo implicit bias training with the Office of Multicultural Affairs and write an apology letter. Man, would I like to use the F word and yourself in a message to Fordham University. This is a school that my daughter attended, a Catholic university that taught her that the
Starting point is 01:52:13 Bible is nonsense, who had a rally against me and then had the balls to ask me to help them build a library. I would have liked to use the F word and yourself in that meeting as well. But I just said, I don't think so. I think you can easily use the F word. Go fordum yourself. Maybe it's a substitute any time you want to use the F word. Just go fordome yourself.
Starting point is 01:52:47 That's an unbelievable. Unbelievable story. How many times can you say that? It should be believable. I know. I know. I don't think that this is, I don't think this is the most, I don't think this is the worst story of the day.
Starting point is 01:53:03 The worst story of the day, I think, has to come from the Smithsonian. You can find it right now at glenbeck.com. Look for it. Let's see. It's how is this white culture only? Smithsonian pamphlet is downright insane. Look for that story.
Starting point is 01:53:20 We've included the pamphlet. This came with your tax dollars from the Smithsonian. Can you imagine they're doing this with Trump in office? Can you imagine what it will be like if Biden wins? Incredible. So this is coming, and this is the biggest insult to anybody of any color. And I'm pink. I'm not white.
Starting point is 01:53:44 I'm pink. So I'm a person of color, too, and I demand recognition. This is from the Smithsonian, the aspects and assumption of whiteness and white culture in the United States. and this is how they are defining the white culture, having rugged individualism. The individual is the primary unit and self-reliance and independence. Family structure, the nuclear family, father, mother, 2.3 children. The husband is the breadwinner and head of the household. Wife is the homemaker and subordinate to the husband.
Starting point is 01:54:26 Children should have their own rooms and be independent. objective. This one is under emphasis on the science, scientific method. This is the white culture. Emphasis on the scientific method. Objective, rational, linear thinking. Cause and effect relationships. And quantitative emphasis.
Starting point is 01:54:50 Stu, I didn't know that white people were the only ones that thought the scientific method of rational, linear. thinking and being objective was a good thing. You could take any of these phrases and just reverse them and you are an overt racist, right? Like if you were to say black people, quote, were not rational. We're not rational thinkers. Rational thinking. What is the opposite of rational thinking? Irrational thinking.
Starting point is 01:55:28 If you were to say black people were irrational, you would be a racist, right? You can't say that. That's insanity. And that is what this thing is saying. It's just hitting on the opposite side of it. If this was written by the KKK, if this was written by a white nationalist group or an identitarian group, it would not surprise me at all. You would barely have to change any of it.
Starting point is 01:55:54 No. No. You wouldn't. You wouldn't. Because what it's saying is, for instance, let's do this, time. They follow rigid time schedules. Whites do in the white culture. That's white culture.
Starting point is 01:56:09 Time is viewed as a commodity. Incredible. Stu. I remember you going back then years ago and telling a story about a theater in Memphis, I want to say. Memphis or, I think it was Burm. I don't remember. It was Memphis or Birmingham. him. And so I remember, you know, when you've used this example over the years on the air,
Starting point is 01:56:32 when talking about someone, you know, making a, essentially a racist joke. And because the person, someone wasn't there and you used the person, you didn't use this. Here's what happened. Yeah. Yeah. I was standing there, the general manager of the theater and I think like the head of police and then maybe the head usher or something, they were all there and I just introduced myself and I said, hi. And they said, we're very excited to have the show and he was. everything else. And I said, listen, we have really tight schedules and we start right on time. We start at 8 o'clock. And they laughed and one of them said, well, you're on colored standard time here. And I said, colored standard. And then I realized they were talk at first colored. They were talking
Starting point is 01:57:16 about African Americans and everybody, all African Americans are late. And I was like, okay. And I walked away. and I remember thinking, oh my gosh, I'm in the heat of the night or I don't know what I'm in some racist movie here. What is that? This is what they're saying. This is what the Smithsonian is saying. They're saying that white culture follows rigid time schedules. So they're saying the same thing that those people I've thought had been racist the whole time. Yeah. They're saying the same thing they were saying. This Glenn. There's colored standard time. This Glenn is institutional racism right here. It is. That's what this is. It's coming from an institution and it's blatantly racist.
Starting point is 01:58:06 Saying that only white people care about rational thinking and time schedules, that is like the most offensive I've ever heard of my entire life. It's promoted as part of like black empowerment. First of all, you're saying the white culture. So you're saying that, listen to this, aesthetics. based on European culture, steak and potatoes, bland is best. Really? Women's beauty based on blonde, thin, and Barbie.
Starting point is 01:58:37 Yes, because that's what a country that has plenty looks to as beautiful, because we can all be fat, thank the Lord. We can all be fat, and we can all be really pasty white. And so in the old days, when everybody had to work for a living and there was very little food, only the rich could have it, what did they do? We painted big, white, fat ladies, okay? Really white. So it's just the culture. But that doesn't mean that everybody thinks that man's attractiveness based on economic status, power, and intellect. well okay
Starting point is 01:59:21 I think that's probably human nature you know human nature you look again are you saying about black people if you're saying white people care about intellect
Starting point is 01:59:31 what are you saying what are you saying Smithsonian that is incredible I mean it's just I don't know where you found this but this is amazing crazy
Starting point is 01:59:42 but this was released I think it was yesterday from the the the Smithsonian's of African American history. This is, this is their pamphlet. Is David Duke the curator?
Starting point is 01:59:57 I think, I think, if David Duke would have released this, it would have been pilloried as the biggest racist smear. And they just did it. First of all, these are not American ideals or, oh, I'm sorry, they're not white, that's not white culture. That's the American culture. And that is the culture that will provide success anywhere in the world, no matter what color you are. You actually work hard.
Starting point is 02:00:30 You look to the scientific method. You look at time as a commodity because it takes time to build things and it takes time to do things and it takes time away from your family, which is also very important. The Judeo-Christian rules of be kind, help your neighbor, all of. of those things will build a successful society, and they're now condemning it by saying it's the white culture. Oh, my. Glenn, they're saying the white culture. Imagine what the world would be like.
Starting point is 02:01:02 Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Imagine. Imagine. Plan for future is listed under white culture. What are you saying about other races when you're saying it's a white culture element to plan for your future or to say, to delayed gratification? So other races just one instant gratification no matter what the cost,
Starting point is 02:01:24 but white people will delay their gratification so that they don't have that cost. I mean, there's things like cost benefit analysis is in here. It's an unbelievable document. I want to know who wrote this. Can we look into this? Put one of the researchers on this today. I want to know, I want some answers. Who paid for this?
Starting point is 02:01:42 I mean, we did. But who authorized this? Who wrote this? Who thought this was a good idea? I mean, it's nuts what's happening in our country today. Absolutely nuts. No one is encouraging you to think on your own, to do your own homework, to remember what you've always known was true.
