Starting point is 00:00:00 You know, Glenn, it was quite a long time ago that one Lisa Page. My wife came to me and said, you got to try these bill bars. You got to try these bill bars. You got to try these bill bars. You didn't listen to her. No, I didn't. And then she eventually went to Tanya and said, you got to try these bill parts. You got to try these bill bars.
Starting point is 00:00:18 You're so weird because it wasn't too long ago after your wife said that, my wife looked at me and said, you have tried these bill bars. You have tried these bill bars. They kind of glossed over the part in the PowerPoint presentation about you're going to pay an arm and a leg in maintenance fees every year and you're probably not going to be able to book it when you want to. Oh, it's been a delight. If you'd like to get out, guaranteed 100% money back guarantee. Get out of your timeshare with timeshare termination team.

Starting point is 00:02:55 Or you can visit them online at timeshareterminationteam.com. That's timeshareterminationteam.com. Hello, America. I'm Glenn Beck, otherwise known as the Atomic Blonde. Well, it must be a lot of dust in my hair because it's a little whiter than blonde. I have noticed that. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Oh, you've been looking in my hair. Mm-hmm. I'm just going to flip it back. Yeah. Welcome to Friday. We have a lot of audio that I think that you really need to hear. First of all, here's Donald Trump, conceding, if you will. Listen. The demonstrators who infiltrated the Capitol have defiled the seat of American democracy.
Starting point is 00:03:56 To those who engaged in the acts of violence and destruction, you do not represent our country. And to those who broke the law, you will pay. We have just been through an intense election, and emotions are high. But now tempers must be cooled and calm restored. We must get on with the business of America. A new administration will be inaugurated on January 20th. My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly, and seamless transition of power. This moment calls for healing and reconciliation. 2020 has been a challenging time for our people. A menacing pandemic has upended the lives of our citizens,
Starting point is 00:04:39 isolated millions in their homes, damaged our economy, and claimed countless lives. Defeating this pandemic and re-ending this pandemic and rebuilding the greatest economy on earth will require all of us working together. Good. I'm glad to hear him say this. I wish we would not have gone through the violence before he said this. I think he's damaged himself now because of what happened. Well, I can't say he damaged himself. The people that marched onto the Capitol and and did the things that happened that were violent and out of control in the Capitol,
Starting point is 00:05:27 they damaged everybody. They damaged everybody. And they should go to jail. If they did something illegal, if they were the ones that were, you know, defiling the capital, breaking the windows, they should all go to jail. And you won't find a celebrity on this side, especially a candidate, raising money to make sure that they are getting out of jail, raising money for bail, like you did with Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris.
Starting point is 00:06:00 It is shameful what has gone on in this country in the last six months. I never expected the president to not leave the Oval Office. I just wish he would have given that speech immediately. when things were happening in the Capitol. Yeah, I think that's fair. I would also, and this maybe isn't the most important part of this, but it is jarring. If you look at this from a perspective of the reaction from as to these events over the past year,
Starting point is 00:06:36 when BLM is torching cities and doing all these things, almost every mainstream media personality is on the air saying it's either a version of it's justified or we can completely understand their anger, or you can't blame them. Let me, may I just play the montage of what happened over the summer with the media? I want to be clear in how I characterize this. This is mostly a protest.
Starting point is 00:07:02 It is not generally speaking unruly. Batting a riot, what we're seeing right now in Minneapolis. They are strictly principled anti-fascists, and they've taken a principal stand to stand against white supremacists and white nationalists wherever they may show up. I argue to you tonight, all punches are not equal morally. It says it right in the name, Antifa, anti-fascism, which is what they were there fighting.
Starting point is 00:07:29 Listen, no organization is perfect. There was some violence. Any reasonable person would say we shouldn't be destroying other people's property, but these are not reasonable times. Thank goodness for the looters, man. And please, show me where it says that protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful. I don't care that much about statues. Shouldn't that be done by a commission or the city council, not a mob in the middle of the night, throwing it into the harbor?
Starting point is 00:07:53 People will do what they do. You're seeing behind me is one of multiple locations that have been burning in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Do not get it twisted and think that, oh, this is something that has not never happened before, and then this is so terrible, and where are we and these savages and all of that? This is how this country was started. People get mad, and people get sick of it. People are risking COVID to explain to this country that we're fed up. Most of the major movements in American history have started at the grassroots level and at some point have turned into direct conflict with American government. So remember your history before you judge, you're present.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Stuggishness is stuggishness wherever it comes from politically and we should be the first to call it out. I disagree. That is absolutely breathtaking. Breatthaking. Breathaking. Now, here's your new vice president on the Capitol riots. We witnessed two systems of justice when we saw one that let extremists stormed the United States Capitol. This is the dumbest point.
Starting point is 00:09:00 And another that released tear gas on peaceful protesters last summer. We know this is unacceptable. We know. Stop. Can we stop for president? Just pause. They were burning the nation's presidential church, if you will. The church that has been attended by presidents from the very beginning. They were burning it down and trying to tear a statue down. These were not nonviolent, non-destructive protesters. second of all, the police released tear gas on the Capitol crowd. Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:45 To the point where it was there was as Elijah Schaefer, a reporter of ours said, there was a zero visibility situation in the area because there was so much tear gas. We showed all the footage last night. I just went off on Don Lemon on this point because it's so, it's so, it's not only so irritating, it's so dumb. No, the whole story. It's dangerous. It is dangerous.
Starting point is 00:10:08 whole story of the summer, Glenn. Yes, we know about the rallies, and that turned into riots in many cases. Everybody I know said the same thing. Where the hell are the police? They're burning down these cities. There's no police anywhere. For days, we had an
Starting point is 00:10:25 autonomous zone set up in Seattle where police weren't allowed to enter for weeks and weeks. We have people in Kenosha in Minneapolis. burning down buildings. They, you know how big a target is?
Starting point is 00:10:43 They cleared out an entire target and no police officers came. None. When they went to the police precinct in Minneapolis, what did the police do? Leave. They left so they could burn it to the ground. What are they talking about? That was not, they let this stuff go. on way beyond when they should have this entire summer.
Starting point is 00:11:11 And now they're like, whoa, when, when BLM was protesting, the cops were tear gassing them. They barely showed up to these events. There has already been a secession. People have already seceded. They already have. They've seceded from reason. They've seceded from truth. They have seceded from our, our basic American prince.
Starting point is 00:11:38 principles. They've succeeded already. That's why we can't reconcile because you can't, you can't reconcile with somebody who has, uh, who has said, you're a monster and, uh, we've never done anything wrong. And, and you are the cause of every ill in society. You and your people need to be shut down, shut up. You need to sit down. And if you don't, even if we're wrecking your business, if you don't do what we say, maybe we should retrain you. Maybe we should put you in a camp because you're dangerous. And then they say, hey, let's reconcile.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Okay. Okay. But do you still believe all the things you said about us? Oh, yeah. But let's reconcile. I can't. I can't. Especially when you continue to lie like this.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Right. You know, Don Lemon was saying, oh, well, they're letting them run rampant all over the capital. Did you, 50 police officers were hurt. One is dead. Dead. They, another, they also shot and killed. I want these people to go to jail. I want these people to pay the price just like I want every single person that was involved in shootings and everything else.
Starting point is 00:13:03 I mean, look at what Antifa did this summer. They killed people. They killed a Trump supporter. How many police officers were injured? How many police officers were almost beaten to death? I want them to go to jail. The same way I want the people who were bringing guns into the Capitol, destroying property, destroying windows,
Starting point is 00:13:29 scaring the hell out of all of America, and quite honestly, destroying. Donald Trump destroying any chance he had of an actual count. I don't think it was going to happen anyway, but you absolutely destroyed it, destroyed it. And you have destroyed and discredited everyone on our side. Because you thought the press was going to behave differently? What did you think was going to happen?
Starting point is 00:14:03 Do you think they were all in Congress? they were all going to say, oh, man. Oh, guys, hey, all you Marxists. I didn't see how angry they were. We better give them a day. Are you kidding me? All of you should go to jail. Now, not the peaceful people.
Starting point is 00:14:24 No, no. The people that were there who were actually instigating violence, who were actually executing violence. They should go to jail. I feel exactly the same way I did with Antifa when people were shot because they weren't listening to the police officers. How many times did Trump supporters and all of us say, here's a way not to get killed? Don't go in with clubs and break windows and then threaten the police. Don't do it.
Starting point is 00:14:57 If they tell you to stop, stop. Now, anyone who is saying, well, that was. woman, she wasn't doing, she was unarmed. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. What were you saying during the summer? We can't become them. Someone has to have some credibility, some honor, some integrity.
Starting point is 00:15:21 You have to be consistent. The reason why this is all happening is because we don't believe anyone anymore. I don't believe anyone. I don't believe the press. I don't believe the FBI. I don't believe the Justice Department. I don't believe the administration now, outgoing and ingoing. I don't believe Congress.
Starting point is 00:15:47 I don't believe most of the Republicans. I definitely don't believe the Democrats. I believe in my church. And even that, I look at and go, wait a minute, what are people saying? I don't believe in the people in the church. I believe the gospel. All I've got left is the gospel. And you know what's happening?
Starting point is 00:16:15 I had a plumber at my house yesterday. And he said, boy, I've been praying for you. And the first thing I thought of was, thank God I live in Texas. That would have never been said to me living up in Connecticut or any place else. Thank God I live in the south of this country and in Texas. He said, boy, I've been praying for you. He said, I've been watching you. listening to you and he said, I can see it. I can see it in you. And he said, I want you to know,
Starting point is 00:16:44 we all feel the same way. I said, what's happening to us? He said, nothing's going to change until we turn back to God. He's right. He's right. And until we do, we're going to see this get worse and worse and worse. I looked at him and I said, you know what? The problem is, so many Christians, even in my own faith. They don't believe in God. They say they do. But they're not relying on him for miracles. They're not trying to fall in line with him.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me the God that you worship that said, go in, cause fear, break windows, destroy property. Tell me. Tell me the God that you are following that says, you. you have to do something violent. I got news for you. The reason why I apologize to Donald Trump is because, and I apologize first to God,
Starting point is 00:17:54 I didn't trust him enough. Donald Trump wins. This guy is the guy who made peace with Israel, strengthened Israel, made peace in the Middle East, transferred the embassy to Jerusalem. Donald Trump, was Donald Trump, the first president to ever actually stand up and truly fight for life and against
Starting point is 00:18:24 abortion. A lot of them talked to good game. He's the first one that actually fought for it. That's not Donald Trump. That's a miracle. That's a miracle. Miracles are coming if we live to be worthy of them. And if we would just recognize the miracles that we have.
Starting point is 00:18:47 in our life today. More in a second. All right. Our sponsor this half hour is relief factor. Rod lives in Texas. He's 64 years old. He's a former engineering tech who worked on municipal utility projects. He's a hard worker. His side gig was building houses. I have to tell you, our whole house is gutted. I have two rooms in my house right now that we're living in. And we don't have a kitchen. We have nothing. And I'm watching these guys work. And I thought to my, I can't live that way. This plumber that was in yesterday, he's in, what, 60, 61 years old, just had a birthday. This guy is crawling underneath the house and climbing up on scaffolding. And I'm thinking to myself, God, God, people work hard. People work hard. And when you've done that your whole life,
Starting point is 00:19:47 man there's pain well rod had that kind of pain well he got out of it he got his life back with relief factor he says within four days of taking it his pain began to melt away within four weeks it was gone i've had the same experience please try it and get out of pain relief factor dot com relieffactor dot com or call 800 500883884 800884 it's relief factor dot com 10 seconds station id here's why we need to hang together first of all we'll all hang separately uh Donald Trump is going to be Donald Trump is going to be banned by an already banned until at least two weeks after the or the next two weeks he's banned on Facebook he's they're not going to put him back they're going to do everything they can to silence him they're going to do everything they can
Starting point is 00:21:01 to silence people like us. They're going to do everything they can to silence you. And then on top of it, to reshape you and re-educate you through algorithms. We know that's true. We know that's happening. We've got to pay attention to our local communities because that's where the last stands are going to come. We have to pay attention to our states, to our schools.
Starting point is 00:21:34 I just got something in from a senator in Minnesota. Listen to this. The social studies education requirements, every 10 years, they update. Here's what is happening in Minnesota. The areas they're saying they need to remove from the state history requirement mandates. Ready? They don't want to teach the Pledge of Allegiance anymore. They will not teach the.
Starting point is 00:22:04 Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, or the Holocaust. What's left? Well, they want to now, instead, teach systematic racism, how freedom and democracy exclude certain groups of people, gender equality, the Minnesota's Juvenile Justice Program, and Reconstruction and the analysis of the ideology of manifest destiny favoring whiteness and capitalism. That is happening in the state of Minnesota. You must organize in Minnesota and stand up. It's happening right now.
Starting point is 00:22:47 Let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour. It's real estate agents. I trust.com. I started this a few years ago out of real frustration. This has been what, gosh, eight years ago, six years ago. Now, I don't even know. Time is completely lost on me. And we started,
Starting point is 00:23:10 brother and I, we started it and we started with a great guy in Phoenix, John Wells, and he really helped us find and continue to monitor real estate agents to be able to keep people and hold them accountable for how they treat customers, what kind of services they're providing, what's the customer satisfaction, how fast can they move, are they getting top of dollar for houses. And we've put together this incredible list of real estate agents all around the country. And you can find them for free now. It's real estate agents.I trust.com. Just tell us where you're selling, where you're moving to. We'll help you find the right person, usually a fan of the program as well. Real estate agents.itrust.com. And go to blaztv.com slash glen. The promo
Starting point is 00:24:05 code is Glenn. You save 10 bucks off your subscription to Blaze TV. It's my 21st anniversary today with my wife. 20, 21 years. It's unbelievable. It's unbelievable. She's stuck around that long. Don't wait. I thought that was going to be.
Starting point is 00:24:26 Three weeks, maybe. And I'm begging my wife. Please, please. 21 years together. Please. Buy more Bitcoin today. Please. That's what you want for your, for your anniversary.
Starting point is 00:24:39 I mean, it's it now 41,000. It was 19. at Christmas. And this time it's real. This time, this is digital gold. That's well people are perceiving this. And this is happening because of the unrest, because institutional investors are in on it. This is big, big money that is happening. And it might correct itself, you know, but it might correct at 43 or 243. It might go up to 50 or 60 and then correct at 43. This is real this time. What is Tika Tawari saying now? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:19 He was three or four years ago. Wrong timing. Just wrong timing. But he said exactly 40,000. Yeah. And here it is. And he said it would happen quickly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:27 And it has. It's been pretty quick. It was 3,800 in March. In March. Like, you know, because you go back with- 3,800? Yeah. Don't say that to me.
Starting point is 00:25:37 If you go back to, if you listen to the show for a long time, you know, we were pretty early on the Bitcoin thing, at least as far as popular culture. I remember talking about it at 300. Yeah. Three. Yeah. I remember. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:48 And it was definitely less than a thousand. We were talking about it on the air. Yep. But like I think a lot of people were like, ah, we missed out on that. And then there was the bubble and it burst and, ah, that's over. I mean, in March. If you have $100 still put it in Bitcoin. If you have $100 still put it in Bitcoin, I'm telling you, I'm telling you, this is
Starting point is 00:26:06 digital currency is coming. If those people who saved their money and are keeping their money in the bank in dollars, is you're going to lose out. You're going to lose. And we should point out that Glenn does not give investment advice. Yeah. It's usually bad. This is usually the, well, there's two things that you should know about investments.
Starting point is 00:26:27 When Glenn says to do them, don't do them. And if Pat Gray ever actually invest in Bitcoin, I will dump everyone I have. Get out now. All right. So Pat, we haven't heard your take unless we listen to the show. We haven't heard your take on this show. about the week about the week
Starting point is 00:26:48 the week that was the week that was by the way I curse all of you who said I can't wait for the new year you jakest it we've jakest it we've already blown the nice hope for 2021
Starting point is 00:27:05 the first week is a nightmare I mean it's already worse than all of 2020 wasn't it combined yes Yes, week one, I am telling you, vampire space bunnies are coming and we'll accept it. I'm kind of excited about it at this point. Suck the blood. Bunny, suck the blood.
Starting point is 00:27:28 Can I just pet your soft fur as you suck all the blood out of my neck? I was a tad irritated to tell you the truth. At the media? At any Trump supporters who were doing what they were doing at the Capitol building? I wasn't upset at anybody who was at that rally on the ellipse. I thought the rally was fine. Everybody. The breaking the windows and the destruction at the Capitol building.
Starting point is 00:27:54 That is just, that's not what we do. And I know that it was incited by others. I believe there were left-wing people there, but there were also right-wing Q-in-on people there. Yeah, yeah. Doing crappy things. I think the conservatives were doing conservative things. They were standing there.
Starting point is 00:28:10 They were protesting. They were holding signs, maybe. I think there were some regular conservatives that were in there that were just swept up. Did you hear about the guy from Idaho? Guy from Idaho was inside and I think he went in and sat in the speaker's chair. And he's apologized to the country, to the president, to the movement. I'm not sure. There's one guy who's a CEO of some sort of company and was there and somehow got swept up and he's like, I cannot believe I did that.
Starting point is 00:28:39 I feel terrible. Yeah. And, look, I don't know if it's not enough, by the way. I mean, look, you're going to wind up paying a price, I think, legally. That's not enough. But still, it's, you know, it's good to at least hear the contrition. And, you know, quite honestly, I was a little perturbed at the president. It bothered me that he was, as he was telling people to go home and go home peacefully,
Starting point is 00:29:04 he was telling them we want a landslide and they stole it from us. I just, it's irresponsible. It's just, it's. I don't get it. You know, I was looking at it from his perspective when he did it. And I thought, because I heard somebody say this. And I thought, that's possible. You want to speak the language of the people and say, I understand you.
Starting point is 00:29:27 I understand you, which he did. And I thought that was important. He did a better job of it yesterday. Yesterday was perfect on Wednesday. I think Ivanka got some heat for her tweet about this where she said, you know, you know, American patriots, we don't do this sort of thing.
Starting point is 00:29:43 Like, how can you call them patriots? Well, you're trying to relate to them. Like, if you call them, hey, fascists and they're not going to,
Starting point is 00:29:49 you know, you're trying to say like, you're trying to, you know, to relate to them and to move them in a, in a particular way. And people who are standing up for transparency, standing up and asking their government
Starting point is 00:30:00 to please listen to us. Please listen. Wrong with that. That's patriotic. Right. It's just when you cross over into violence. that it doesn't become patriotic. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:12 And sadly, you kind of discredit everything along the way. Oh, everything. So everything looks bad. And then when the media starts saying, yeah, five people died, and it looks like it was Trump supporters who killed them, and that's not what happened. Then you've got the whole country turning against you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:28 And I think Donald Trump really hurt himself. And his knee-jerk reaction should have been immediately. Wait, wait, wait. I mean, look at Gandhi did. Gandhi starved himself against his own people. It wasn't until we're all free. It was stop the violence. I disavow you.
Starting point is 00:30:52 You say I'm your leader. I disavow you. Forget Gandhi. I was thinking of Glenn Beck as president in that moment. And I've been in so many of these situations with Glenn and so of you, Pat, where, you know, there are things you should do and things you shouldn't do. And I 100% in this situation, Glenn Beck is not making a statement on Twitter about what get out of that building.
Starting point is 00:31:14 You are going down to the Capitol yourself and you're saying screw you secret service and you're going to walk down there and physically remove people from that building. Tell me, tell me that is not what you would do in that moment. You would be so pissed off. Yeah, I think it would have been. I think I would have gotten in, oh, Secret Service. You're not going to drive me? Get me the keys. And I'd drive the beast up or I'd find an old truck if I had to.
Starting point is 00:31:41 And I would get up on the stairs of the Capitol and they'd back off. Get the hell out of that building. Get out of this building right now. That's not you. And you know what? If the president would have been like that, I mean, not driving to the Capitol, that's a little too Glenn Beckian. But if he would have been like that, he would have preserved a leadership role for for after you know right now they have everything that they need just to shut him down to silence him
Starting point is 00:32:14 to discredit anybody who follows him and it's sad because he had the opportunity and hopefully he can regain it you regain it but it's going to be tough he had the opportunity to have righteous indignation but stand for the right things and say the battle doesn't end today. This is an ongoing battle and we are going to fight the right way. I mean, honestly, to say we needed 10 days, 10 days, that's all we're asking for. And if he would have come out and said, we need 10 days. And look, I'm not looking for 11,000.
Starting point is 00:32:59 I do believe I won. But I'm not looking for just the number. I that you cannot have people not believe in the vote. It is important for America going forward that we believe in the vote. So I'm not motivated to prove what I do believe is true. I'm motivated to find out exactly what happened. And if we can't prove it in 10 days, that's fine. But there needs to be a special counsel to find out because Americans need to believe
Starting point is 00:33:34 in something. I think he could have really had an impact. Now, he is a guy who keeps coming back and coming back, coming back after he's been punched down, but he's not going to have the bully pulpit to do it now. Yeah, it's going to be very difficult for him now. He had a sweet Republican kingmaker role carved out that would have been an amazing life with lots and lots of power. And I think also, you know, I still pretty much believe he's going to wind up run.
Starting point is 00:34:04 I do too. I do too. But, you know, look, I don't know. You're right. He's overcome odds before. I just, I think anything past Safe Harbor Day was, was harmful. And what he's, you know, the way he's pushed this to the very, very end, I think has been wrong.
Starting point is 00:34:17 And it's been hurtful to the country. And I think we saw consequences from it. I think he could have handled it differently. But I do understand, you know, it's frustrating. My wife keeps saying, like, can you imagine going through what he's gone through? No. I mean, he's been going through these four years of everyone beating you up every single day. lying about you.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Yeah, I mean, this has got to change you as a person. It's got to put so much stress on you. But, you know, again, this is the job. I mean, you sign up for these things. And, like, you know, it's really hard to hit a free throw with three seconds left, too. And you got to do it. That's your gig. I have to tell you, I really feel for him because I really feel he's alone, absolutely
Starting point is 00:34:50 alone and has been for four years and has taken more beatings to the head than anybody I've seen. I mean, more beatings to the head than Muhammad Ali had. And he has stood the entire time. I understand his righteous anger, his belief that really, really, it gets down to this, you're going to do this too and nobody's going to stand up? I get it. But he needed to say early on, I will never, until it's proven, I will never believe I didn't win. But if that's what Congress and the people say, I will leave.
Starting point is 00:35:33 January 20th. There will be a peaceful transition of power. And we're not going to do that. However, with that being said, I urge all Americans to go to their state houses and demand that there is an investigation in this and laws are strengthened to make sure it doesn't happen again. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:58 That would have been a great way to handle it. It would have been. And he kind of did that yesterday. Yeah, he did. It's a little late in the game. But yeah, he did some of that yesterday. It is, it's worth playing again what he said. We'll do that after the break.
Starting point is 00:36:13 But it's worth playing again what he said yesterday because he did basically say all of those things. And he really took on the people who went into the Capitol and caused harm. He was stronger than we already. Yeah, he called them out, called them out. They should go to jail. they should be prosecuted if they committed crimes. So thank you, Pat. Appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:36:39 Back in just a second. Okay, here's what you should do before you head into the weekend. First, you should probably look at buying, you know, $500 worth of Bitcoin. The other thing you should do is call American financing. Make sure your financial house is in order. I know you feel what's coming. I know you can feel we're in a very bad place. Well, I got news for you.
Starting point is 00:37:16 If you're a conservative, you're even in a worse place. And you need to make sure that you have your financial house in order. I can't recommend highly enough that you give American financing a call. Their mortgage consultants are there. They work for you, not the bank. and they're going to make it their mission to help you build a better financial house for yourself. This year is going to be crazy. Maybe crazier than 2020.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Yes. The first week is worse. Call American financing right now. They will help you. 800, 906, 2440, 800, 906, 2440, or Americanfinancing. Dot net. American financing, NMLS, 182334, www. www. nmLS consumer access.org.
Starting point is 00:38:06 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. Here is a portion of Donald Trump's speech yesterday that you need to hear. I would like to begin by addressing the heinous attack on the United States Capitol. Like all Americans, I am outraged by the violence, lawlessness, and mayhem. I immediately deployed the National Guard and federal law enforcement to secure the building and expel the intrans. America is and must always be a nation of law and order. The demonstrators who infiltrated the Capitol have defiled the seat of American democracy.
Starting point is 00:38:50 To those who engaged in the acts of violence and destruction, you do not represent our country. And to those who broke the law, you will pay. We have just been through an intense election and emotions are high. But now tempers must be cooled. cooled and calm restored. We must get on with the business of America. My campaign vigorously pursued every legal avenue to contest the election results. My only goal was to ensure the integrity of the vote. In so doing, I was fighting to defend American democracy. I continue to strongly believe that we must reform our election laws to verify the identity and eligibility of all voters and to ensure
Starting point is 00:39:40 faith and confidence in all future elections. Now Congress has certified the results. A new administration will be inaugurated on January 20th. My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly, and seamless transition of power. This moment calls for healing and reconciliation. 2020 has been a chance of challenging time for our people, a menacing pandemic, has upended the lives of our citizens, isolated millions in their homes, damaged our economy, and claimed countless lives. Defeating this pandemic and rebuilding the greatest economy on earth will require all of us working together. It will require a renewed emphasis on the civic values of patriotism, faith, charity, community, and family. We must revitalize the state.
Starting point is 00:40:32 sacred bonds of love and loyalty that bind us together as one national family. To the citizens of our country serving as your president has been the honor of my lifetime. And to all of my wonderful supporters, I know you are disappointed, but I also want you to know that our incredible journey is only just beginning. Thank you. God bless you. And God bless America. Thank you, Mr. President. you for saying that. Let me tell you about our sponsor, and that's real estate agents I trust. If you're looking to sell or buy a home, you need somebody who really knows the market, can tell you what needs to happen, can tell you what your house is worth, and can help you sell it
Starting point is 00:41:24 or get it ready to sell. Real estate agents I trust are the people that can really, truly help you do that. Real estate agents I trust is a company that I start. started about five, six years ago. It's a free service to you. We just went and we looked for the real estate agents that have your kind of psyche. They're usually listeners of the program. They're good people.
Starting point is 00:41:51 And they know the market really well. So if you're looking for somebody, just go to real estate agents. I trust.com. Have you thought about starting politicians? I trust.com? Yeah. Couldn't find any. Couldn't find any.
Starting point is 00:42:06 It's just an empty website. Yeah, so empty website, you can contact us and we'll tell you, nope, none in your area. For the time being, I guess it's real estate agents. Attrust.com. Exactly. Back in a second with Mr. Bill O'Reilly. Hello, America. It's Friday, which means Bill O'Reilly.
Starting point is 00:43:04 I don't need to promote anything here. I want to get right to getting his opinion. on this nightmare week. We go there in 60 seconds. All right. The buzzword in investment has always been diversify. Diversify. And the reason why you diversify is because you just never know what's coming.
Starting point is 00:43:36 Right now, the Dow is what, 31,000. It's breaking all records. To me, that doesn't make sense with unrest, instability. the Democratic Party now in control of everything. That doesn't make sense to me, but there you go. Gold is also up. Bitcoin is also up. People are looking for something to put their money into.
Starting point is 00:44:04 If you have money in the bank, they are destroying the dollar. They're destroying the dollar. If you've always played by the rules, you need to diversify and make sure that you have something that is not in dollar denominations. May I suggest Goldline with what is coming, that's why you're seeing all of these things go through the roof, because things are going to unravel sooner rather than later. It's better to be early than a day late on this.
Starting point is 00:44:36 I want you to call Goldline right now. Take advantage of Goldline's 6% free medal promotion for qualified self-directed IRA acquisitions. call 866 goldline, 1-866 Goldline or Goldline.com. It's Friday and Mr. Bill O'Reilly, the author of Killing Crazy Horse and the namesake behind Bill O'Reilly.com, where he has his no-spin news every day.
Starting point is 00:45:06 Welcome to the program, Bill O'Reilly. How are you, sir? I am a little tired. Yeah. After analyzing all this stuff, I just want to say thank you for the nice mention. I'm going to go out.com is free for everybody this weekend because I think we have had incites of fair coverage unlike the corporate media, which is, again, you know,
Starting point is 00:45:30 reached the nadia word of the day. You're not going to learn anything from those people. No, you're really not. And those people are going to start clamping down on all of us. And I urge you to please as a listener, if you appreciate the frankness of Bill O'Reilly or the Blaze or whoever, if you hear somebody who is telling the truth, please support them and join them because sponsors are going to be attacked soon. We are coming under attack. we have we have one guy who uh Elijah Schaefer who has risked his life to go in and be right on the front lines of the Antifa protests. Uh, he went in and he was right on the front lines at the Capitol recording and and reporting live.
Starting point is 00:46:27 Uh, and now they're saying that he's a revolutionary, not a journalist. He was there saying this is wrong. this is what's happening. These people are doing this. This is just as bad as what Antifa was doing. And now they want him shut down, which means they'll be coming after us. It's a bad mess, Bill, bad mess.
Starting point is 00:46:52 You know, I saw the kid on the blaze. And my first thought was, if this young guy can get in there and give you firsthand look, you know, an immediate look at what. what's happening. Why can't the big networks with all their resources have somebody in there? I mean, that was my first question. So you got this guy, this young guy in there, and he's providing the best coverage you could get because you're seeing what's happening. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:47:22 No matter what it is. So where are the others? With all their hundreds of millions of dollars, they can't get anybody in there. So it's so bad. I mean, you know, and that's one of the of the reasons the country is in such a chaotic state is the collapse of the media, which was given special privileges, as everybody knows, by the founding fathers, to keep the powerful in check, all right, to tell the folks, look, here's what John Adams is really doing. All right, here's what Abe Lincoln is doing. But they don't do that anymore. They hate one guy Trump. They love one guy, Biden and you're never going to get what's really happening. But if this continues, I think you're absolutely right, there's going to be a ferocious backlash. But I don't want people on the
Starting point is 00:48:16 conservative traditional side to think. And some of them do, because I've got to stack a mail that says that violent revolution is ever going to happen in this country. It is not. It is not going to happen. There will be tense moments. There will be irrational behavior. There will be criminality. The attack on the capital was criminal. There will be that. But there's 330 million American citizens. And I'll submit to you that 70, 75 percent want nothing to do with violence. Oh, I think that, I think that number is higher. I bet you there's 10 to 13 percent that would be okay with violence. That's it, on both sides. The reason I peg it at 75, maybe 80, is that there is a criminal element that exploits situations like these.
Starting point is 00:49:13 So in the capital intrusion, in the riot, there were professional agitators there. There were people who came to Washington for the sole purpose of fostering violence, just as in the George Floyd situation. There were criminals among the protesters that were just waiting to loot and to burn and to hurt a cop. Now, that crew has sympathy, unfortunately. It had sympathy in the media. We saw it on the left and it has some sympathy in the right. I got the letters in my hands. I had one letter yesterday from a guy. He says, well, O'Reilly, you don't understand how many people were applauding the anarchist action. And I said to him, I read it on the air.
Starting point is 00:50:07 I read it on Bill O'Reilly.com. I said, yeah, I understand it because the same crew was applauding the looters. They weren't the same people, but it's the same mindset that criminality and violence is fine if I want to do it for whatever reason. You can have an election, you can have the killing of a black man, whatever it may be. there are, I'd say, all right, 20% of Americans who have that mindset. And, but the vast majority of us will reject it. So people who are thinking, well, there's going to be a violent revolution in America.
Starting point is 00:50:47 That's not going to happen. It's not. And to think it is, is insane. For Donald Trump to come out and say what he said yesterday, I, applaud. I thought it was the right thing to say. Compare that to what he said during the actual riot there inside the Capitol. All right. If you're going to analyze Trump in a fair way that benefits the American people, you have to understand his mindset. So you just can't pick it up this week, as of course all the media did, pro and con Trump.
Starting point is 00:51:30 So Donald Trump, in his mind, believes that he's been persecuted for five years. Agree. Right? So he sees himself as a victim, as millions of Americans do, for one reason or another. So when he lost the election, and I can just hear the course. Now, oh, he didn't lose, he didn't lose. Okay. when he lost because the system said he lost,
Starting point is 00:52:03 he became unhinged. And I know that because I know people very close to him. Now, I have not talked to the president since two days before the first debate when he... I talked to him a week ago, week and a half ago. I talked to him over the vacation. I thought he was lucid. I didn't feel that he was unhinged. I felt that he was determined.
Starting point is 00:52:28 I agree he absolutely I mean he told me I will never you will never hear me say I lost this I lost this election fairly he said you'll never hear me say it because I don't believe it and quite honestly I don't either but he was very he was lucid at least for 20 25 minutes with me but it's not about lucid when I use the word on the hinge he wasn't analyzing reality okay so when we was talking to you, he was saying, look, this is the way I feel, and this is what I'm going to do. But from the very beginning, there was no chance that Donald Trump was going to overturn this election, and we've talked about that. Yeah. You and I have talked about that. There was no chance that losing by 7 million popular votes and having all of these controversies, In the beginning, everybody paid attention, and we were waiting for, I certainly was, Rudy Giuliani and the others, to give us hard data.
Starting point is 00:53:40 Yeah. It didn't come. Once that was established that it was theoretical, it was over. And everyone knew it was over. Everyone in power knew. Supreme Court knew. both houses of Congress knew, Vice President Pence knew, everybody knew, except one guy, Donald Trump. And he continued to believe, and he did believe it. He did believe it.
Starting point is 00:54:10 So let me ask you this. I was made fun of and mocked because I tried to explain the way he thinks, and this is just me. This is not from conversations with him or anything else. But you know and I know,
Starting point is 00:54:24 I know, he is a Norman Vincent Peel devotee. He is a guy who believes what you think becomes and don't ever speak things into existence that you don't want. And I believe he truly believed in the power of positive thinking, not necessarily to, that it was going to change everything, but he was not going to speak anything into existence that he didn't believe was true. and that's why he was he is disciplined in that one principle what he speaks he creates he's made so many mistakes i i'm not disagreeing i am trying to say that this is where his thinking is coming from okay but if you want to win anything you have to outthink your opposition So from the very beginning, instead of running around saying it's a fraud, it's rigged, it was stolen, it was this, it was that, the president should have methodically said to Congress and to the Justice Department, there are millions of Americans who do not trust this election.
Starting point is 00:55:39 Yes, yes. The analytics don't match up. We need a very comprehensive investigation. Attorney General Barr, please appoint a special counsel and houses of Congress, please launch an investigation into the following and list the states. That would have been much, much better than going to Georgia and the night before the vote, the most crucial vote we've had in the Congress, attacking the state of Georgia for being corrupt. Do you think that helped him?
Starting point is 00:56:13 No. Okay. So let me let me take a one minute break and then come back and then and talk to you about where he goes next and and how he is perceived and the the strength or weaknesses that he will now face because of the way this is all transpired this week. Bill O'Reilly back in just a second. All right. Let me tell you about our sponsor. It's MyPillow. Man, after everything has let you down, could I introduce you to a group of people led by Mike Lindell that say, we believe this to be true? I believe this to be true. It isn't for me. Starting point is 00:57:07 If you don't like this MyPillow or any of the My Pillar products, you can return them now until March 1st. you can see for yourself. And if you think, look, I saved $40 on this pillow. It's supposed to be $70. And I got it for $30. And if you think that it is not what you hoped it would be, you think I want my money back. 30 bucks is a lot of money to a lot of people today.
Starting point is 00:57:35 My pillow is going to refund that money. They believe in their product and they will stand behind their product. That's nice to see some integrity. in today's world. Call 800-966-3117. They're great specials, including the MyPillows. The Queen is at $30. It usually is $70.
Starting point is 00:57:55 And I think it's $35 for the king-sized pillow. Just try it. Please, I think you're really going to like it. MyPillow, the Giza Sheets and everything else. Now at MyPillow.com, 800-966, 3117. Enter the promo code back for the savings at MyPillow.com. 10 seconds.
Starting point is 00:58:13 Station ID. All right, Bill O'Reilly. Now, the president, I think, could have run and may still be able to, could have run and might have won in 2024. It's still, because I think he's a comeback kid, he can know he turns things around all the time. Where is his influence? How is he going to be treated out of office? What's going to happen? to him now. Okay. We have to start that discussion with a truism that life is not fair. And everybody has to accept that because that's reality. So in my opinion, and I believe I am correct, Donald Trump did not want thugs going into the Capitol building in a display of anarchy. That's not what he wanted. I don't even believe That thought was even in his mind.
Starting point is 00:59:31 So all of these craven politicians on both parties that are saying he incited it, that this was his plan, he wanted these people to do it. They're all wrong. I mean, I can't say they're lying because nobody can read Trump's mind, but they're wrong. I know the guy, you know that. I wrote a book on the guy. I've never seen him in any way foster violence. I talked to him last week and he said, we've got to fight this in the courts. We have to fight this through the system.
Starting point is 01:00:04 It's got to go to the states. They've got to, in the legislatures, they've got to stand up. He never talked about the people. No. Nothing. What he did wrong, and this was a big mistake, was that when you have 100,000 angry people gathered in an area and you're going to address. those people, you've got to camp the anger down.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Yeah. And he did. He stoked it because he believed falsely that this popular movement, this 100,000 in Washington, was somehow going to help him. Well, it was the exact opposite. And the irony is the people who are most fervent and supporting Donald Trump have heard him the most. Yeah. And you can't.
Starting point is 01:00:57 I don't think there was anything wrong with the rally. I don't think there was wrong with the majority of people that were there. It just turned into a small group of people, turned it into something very ugly that ended up destroying everything. And destroying Donald Trump's image, at least in the short term. So what he does now is nothing. I have suggested to the president that in his remaining 11 days, 12 days, he doesn't do anything. He basically wraps it up in the Oval Office, issues his pardons, whatever he wants to do. But no more public statements.
Starting point is 01:01:42 The social media has strangled him anyway. So you don't need to do any other policy matters or any other. election matters, right? Get everything and bring it down. In the meantime, on inauguration day, he and Melania should host a breakfast for the Bidens, just as the Obama's did for him. He should discuss in private whatever he wants to say to President-elect Biden. And then at noon, he should get on a plane and go down to Florida. Should he attend, should he attend, the inauguration? No, because then he becomes the story.
Starting point is 01:02:26 Doesn't he become the story with this press that, oh, this president didn't even attend the inauguration? No, but he issues a statement. He already has. The statement that says, I'm not going to attend because I don't want to distract from Mr. Biden's day. He takes the high road. And one more thing.
Starting point is 01:02:47 A week from Monday night, Donald Trump should give an address. Now, the networks won't take it. CNN, MSNBC won't take it. But Fox will take it. The others will, you know, conservative networks will take it. And talk radio will take it. And in that address, Donald Trump should thank the American people for the privilege of being president, number one, that he's humbled, that he tried to do his best, that he believes he did help the country. And he said he's terribly sorry that the election.
Starting point is 01:03:21 was the way it was. I wouldn't get into the rigged drain like that to say, I'm terribly sorry. The election was that way. I hope that people look into it, but I'm very proud to have been your prison. He should give that against. All right. Now let's switch subjects. When we come back, we're going to talk a little bit about Georgia. What happened in Georgia, more importantly, what does it mean? What does it mean? What is coming our way? and how does the GOP handle this? More with Bill O'Reilly in a second.
Starting point is 01:04:01 All right, we don't have a lot of good news these days, but let me give you a little bit of some. These days, you could use it, I think. Hey, don't forget, $10 save if you go to blazedtv.com slash Glenn and use the promo code Glenn. special program just for subscribers tonight with us. I just got a very disturbing phone call during the break. Very disturbing. And I will talk to you about it in about 25 minutes.
Starting point is 01:05:35 We have Bill O'Reilly with us now, and we want to continue our conversation here with Bill on switching now to what happened in Georgia. What do we face now? What is the, what is coming towards us, Bill? All right. The tip O'Neill, people may remember him if you're really into politics, former Speaker of the House. One said all politics is local.
Starting point is 01:06:06 And it's true. And that means that people vote based upon their own self-interest and what's best for them and their families and friends. Okay. So Georgia should never, ever, in a million years, have done. gone to too radical. And I mean that word literally. These are radical leftists, Assoff and Warnock. And in a million years, they should never have won in a traditional state like Georgia. But what happened was that it became a race vote. And Stacey Abrams, who lost
Starting point is 01:06:41 the governor's race last time around, convinced 93% of African Americans in Georgia. that the Republican Party hated them. So 93% voted for these radical leftists. Now, I'll submit to you, you would have sit down with most of those voters and say, do you understand what socialism is and what these people really want? No, it was all emotion. And I will say that I don't think it,
Starting point is 01:07:14 and I'd like to hear your comment on this, I don't think it was as much race as it was that, $600 versus $2,000 stimulus package. I was going to get to that in a minute. You have to understand, though, and you're wrong on this. Stacey Abrams for the last, I don't know, year and a half, two years, has been telling black Georgians they're disenfranchised. Every day, she says that to them.
Starting point is 01:07:42 Because the vote was stolen from her. From her, right? And other things. Yeah. And other things. all right with every single blank in day this woman is on television in georgia saying that and that's race and she says the people who disenfranchise you are republicans they did it trump did it okay so you could have overcome that if you were the two republican senators
Starting point is 01:08:14 even though the electorate in george is 32 percent black you could have overreesome if you had a message. But the two senators did not. There were mediocre candidates. Then you get the point that you just made that Mitch McConnell, a Republican, Senate majority leader, blocked $1,400 to every Georgian voter. Stopped it. Then the final was Trump going there the day before.
Starting point is 01:08:49 the vote and attacking the state. Now, the Trump supporters buy into that, but the independent voters, about 28% in Georgia, they were insulted that Trump was running down the entire state apparatus. And you needed those 28, the majority of that 28% independent vote,
Starting point is 01:09:16 to overcome the African-American vote. and you didn't get it. The independence broke Democrat. So now the country faces both houses being controlled by Democrats. But there's one guy who could save us. Joe Manchin. Joe Manchin. Who's not really a liberal Democrat.
Starting point is 01:09:40 And he says he's not going to vote for radical stuff. He's not going to do it. And in West Virginia, he's not going to pay a price for that. In West Virginia, he's not going to go along with the Green New Deal. Right. He's going to block. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:57 But on the other side, you got Murkowski in Alaska. Correct. Who is not a Republican. She's not. And she can be bought. I mean, not physically bought, you know, with money. But she can be persuaded. And then a couple of other Republicans,
Starting point is 01:10:15 Collins, Romney, you know, you don't know what they're going to do. But there is hope because of Joe Manchin, who I believe may switch parties. I do too. Okay. And become a Republican if things get terrible and they may. So what do you think they can get through now? And what do you think they will just take executive order on?
Starting point is 01:10:45 For instance, the Second Amendment, they have been. and Kamala Harris has been very clear. She'd do it through executive order. But then she gets slapped down by the Supreme Court. So I'm not worried about gun rights. Wow. I'm worried about the economy. Because the economy is the first thing that they're going to try to do, the Democrats.
Starting point is 01:11:08 I have to. So why, why, why on God's Green Earth is the Dow having the greatest day yesterday? that it's ever had. I mean, this is, it broke all records. It's still higher than it was yesterday. It's gone up since yesterday.
Starting point is 01:11:26 Why is that happening? Because businesses should know a party that has control of all three branches and, and has said higher taxes on the rich, control of corporations, more regulation, all of these things. That's not good for business. Back,
Starting point is 01:11:47 you know the answer to your question. I'm afraid I do, but tell me. Deep inside that. I know. You have to take a walk and clear your head. But you know the answer to that question. The stock market wants Trump gone. Not because of his policies.
Starting point is 01:12:07 They were pro-business, but they don't want turmoil. The markets hate uncertainty and turmoil. Can I make it? May I hate... One more, one more second. This stock market spike is basically a relief that maybe the country won't be in so much turmoil now. May I ask, because I agree with that. However, the stock market was going through the roof while we were having people march in the capital, which was disturbing to see.
Starting point is 01:12:48 but they look out I know I know I know yeah they look out and most of these marketeers they've had enough it's not ideological it's not even party it's like oh let's stop this
Starting point is 01:13:05 can we stop it do you think there's anything to be said walk with me a little farther down this road because I have quietly thought about all of these things and the other thing that comes to mind is the financial sector has done very well in the last few days.
Starting point is 01:13:25 Right. And they know they're all safe. They're all going to get bailouts. They're going to get the money. Well, I'm going to tell your audience now, and some of your audience is my audience. I mean, they co-mingle, that you've got to be very, very careful in all investments. Now, if you have stocks, you were to call your broker today and put stops, 15% down on where your stock price is now. For example, if you hold stock in IBM, it's 15% down that you sell. So you don't get clobbered when the correction comes, and it is going to come.
Starting point is 01:14:10 So the first thing that Biden and his crew want to do is raise taxes. Now, that's not going to help the economy. Everyone knows that. But they're going to try to get away with it by saying, listen, we're going to raise taxes, but really not that much. And it's just the rich and Amazon and those people are going to pay it. And most people don't have stocks. And they're going to say, ah, go ahead, raise taxes on capital games. Ah, go ahead. Raise taxes on Beck and O'Reilly. We don't care.
Starting point is 01:14:39 But the result of all that is going to be less business. It's going to be a contraction. and I don't hope for that, but if that happens in 2022, there's going to be an enormous backlash against the Democrats, and that there are 34 Senate seats up in 22. And a Republicans could well take both houses if there is an economic contraction, but I don't think we should be rooting for that. We shouldn't. One last, one last thing, we've only got about a minute. One last thing, Bill.
Starting point is 01:15:14 I believe the radicals learned that they've got two years. They learned this in 2010. They've got two years. And I just don't agree with you that they are going to hold back or be able to be held back. I think they are going to go for every radical move that they possibly can. And you sound... Well, that's what we have meant. that that's why we're relying on mansion and maybe a few other moderate democrats how sad is that how sad is that
Starting point is 01:15:50 okay next and maybe i'll have you on again uh for a couple of times next week because i would like to hear a path forward uh from you what what do what does the gop the gop the gop i think is going to make a real run back to the the the romneys and the and the mcconnells you don't think so i hope not i hope not They've got a, they have to completely redo. They need a charismatic leader, but the base of the Republican Party is conservative. Has been for a long time, but that doesn't stop them. Bill O'Reilly, thank you. Have a safe and great weekend from Bill O'Reilly.com and the no-spin news.
Starting point is 01:16:35 And don't forget his book that is out, Killing Crazy Horse, one of his series, The Just Tremendous. Bill O'Reilly, we'll talk to you again next week. All right. American financing. Time to get serious about some things in 2021. We're fighting a war on a cultural level, on a political level, even on a spiritual level. And things are going to get more and more intense as we go along, believe it or not. Being fiscally responsible is a huge part of the battle that is coming.
Starting point is 01:17:06 please do everything you can to get out of debt, pay the least amount in credit card interest, pay off and down those credit cards. If you have a mortgage now and you're paying over 3 or 4%, please, please call American financing. And consider taking all that high interest credit card debt and rolling it into your mortgage, getting a mortgage, getting a much lower interest rate, not just from... What are you paying for your credit card? 15, 20%, not only getting that down into the threes, but also getting your mortgage down into the threes. You could save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars every single month.
Starting point is 01:17:54 Please get your house in order now. American financing 800906 2440, 8009062440, Americanfinancing.comnet. American financing, NMLS, 18233,000. for www. nmls consumer access.org. I said a few minutes ago that I received during the break a very, very disturbing phone call, and I am going to, I just need some time during the next break to really prepare my thoughts and to make sure I get the story exactly right before I share it with you.
Starting point is 01:18:37 I'll be sharing it at about 15 minutes, but it is, it's just not good. It's just not good. And I urge you to continue to listen for the next few minutes because it is something that will affect you. And you need to be aware of it. So coming up in just a second. Also, if you go to glenbeck.com, there is a poll, and I ask you that you would take the poll, what will America look like a year from now? I really just want to gauge where your head is at.
Starting point is 01:19:18 And there's about 20 questions. We did some of them on radio the other day. And I asked Stu and some of the listeners what they thought was coming our way. And I would like to hear from you. and then I will comment on these today, along with something else. I'm trying to schedule now at the last minute because of what I'm about to tell you at the top of the hour. But I have a show that just airs just for Blaze subscribers every Friday, and I'm going to go over what you're telling me you think America is headed for.
Starting point is 01:19:58 And also I'll go in greater depth on what I'm going to tell you. you here in a few minutes. One note, as something you talked about with Bill O'Reilly, Donald Trump does have his Twitter account back. If you did not know that, he does, it's back in his control for the moment. He has tweeted that to all those that have asked, I will not be going to the inauguration on January 20th. So he is publicly announcing that for the first time.
Starting point is 01:20:23 Was that the first time? I thought it was the first time, but I don't know where I, first official time. It must have been a dream of some sort. But I thought I heard him say, I will be a distraction. I'm not going. I don't want to. Bill O'Reilly said that. I know.
Starting point is 01:20:41 Are you substituting Bill O'Reilly? No. That's why I said that to Bill. Didn't he already say that? I don't. Maybe he did. Might have been a dream. I mean, it was kind of expected, but it was the first time.
Starting point is 01:20:52 He also tweeted the 75 million great American patriots who voted for me, America First and Make America Great Again, will have a giant voice long into the future, they will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape, or form. Who will not be treated unfairly? I assume he's talking about the people who voted for him. Okay. So he's just sort of a message of hope for the future, I guess, beyond January 20th. But he is...
Starting point is 01:21:17 Who steps into that leadership role for the GOP now? Who is it? What happens in these moments is a power struggle. You're going to see that over the next couple of years. And it is going to be... I mean, Bill was like, oh, no, they won't go back the, you know, Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney sort of way. I think there's going to be a big push to go that way from the insiders in Washington. Everyone's going to try to grab their power.
Starting point is 01:21:42 Yeah. And that includes people on the Trump side. Obviously, I think part of that, the Holly and Cruz moment the other day was an attempt to take that mantle. We'll see if it will see what happens with it. All right. Stick with us. Some important news coming up next. Oh, for 15, 16, 17 years, I've been warning that this day would come.
Starting point is 01:22:06 And about 35 minutes ago, I got a very disturbing phone call, and this day has come. I'll explain in 60 seconds. I want to thank our sponsor, Mike Lindell, and my pillow, for, A, being such a patriot and all the things that he he has done, all the risks that he did and took with his company to stand and speak his mind. They have been after him the whole time and they're going to continue to go after him. And that's not the reason to buy a my pillow. If you need to buy a pillow, my pillow, I sleep with it every night and I love it. I really do.
Starting point is 01:22:56 I didn't think if it was in the store and if I just held it in the store, I'd be like, I wouldn't like this pillow. I don't know what it is, but when you fluff it, it stays that way. It positions your head. Sometimes I can wake up with really bad headaches because I sleep on my side and it stays cool. I'm not fluffing my pillow all night. It's my pillow. Check them out.
Starting point is 01:23:18 60 day money back guarantee. It's my pillow.com. Make sure you enter the promo code back. They're usually $70 for the queen. They're now, I think, $30 or $295, something like that. That's a $40 savings and it's $5 more if you want. king-sized pillow. Mypillow.com 800-966-31-17,
Starting point is 01:23:37 800-966-31-17. promo code back at mypillow.com. I know you are under a tremendous amount of pressure in your own life. Maybe perhaps you have lost your job. You have, you've lost your business. I know last night at midnight, my wife and I were talking about the kids in school
Starting point is 01:24:19 and how difficult this is. I know the pressure you're under. And I don't want to add more to it. I want to let you know what's going on, and I want to make a promise to you. You are not alone in feeling that. And I have been saying for a very long time, they are going to come after anyone with an opinion that they disagree with.
Starting point is 01:24:48 Ted Cople himself told me, you know, there should be a panel of people like me that grant you a license. Really? I've told you the minute that Donald Trump was gone, they were going to turn those cannons that have been so effective on smearing and doing everything they can to destroy Donald Trump all on us. And I mean people in the media. Well, it has begun. it is here. Let me give you, before I tell you about the phone call that came in, no, let me tell you about the phone call that came in first. A couple of days ago, I started seeing tweets from the left about our Blaze TV correspondent Elijah Schaefer.
Starting point is 01:25:45 I guess they didn't like the fact that he was reporting on the Capitol riots. even though he was against the capital riots, he was saying things that pissed his followers and his audience off like nobody's business because he knows his job is to tell the truth on what's going on. The truth doesn't matter to the left. The daily beast, which is, I mean, the beast really is the appropriate name for these people. They wrote a smear piece. One might even say deflamatory.
Starting point is 01:26:24 One might say that. I might say that. Attorneys might say that. But they wrote a piece about Elijah Schaefer. Here's the headline. Daily Beast. Glenn Beck employee boasts of breaching Nancy Pelosi's office alongside revolutionaries, end quote.
Starting point is 01:26:47 Okay. He was there as. a journalist and he was reporting there's many ways to take revolutionary a good way and a bad way historically in america we look at revolutionaries as a good thing that's not what elijah was referring to he was not referring to the good kind of revolutionary we have talked about it multiple times revolutions don't end well he was reporting on what was going on just as he has reported when he's been in the belly of the beast and risking his life with Antifa. And he has provided you in the media with much of your video because you don't have anybody there.
Starting point is 01:27:43 Now, at first, my reaction was this is what they do to independence and conservative voices. Smear, rinse, repeat. Smear, rinse, repeat. Little gnats go away. I have dealt with this for years. But then Mr. Fangbang himself, Eric Swalwell, goes a step further. He suggested that the FBI arrest Elijah, a reporter for doing his job, something protected by the First Amendment.
Starting point is 01:28:29 Eric Swalwell tweets, Dear FBI, Meet Elijah Schaefer. Elijah Schaefer took a picture inside of Nancy Pelosi's office. And he said, I'm inside Nancy Pelosi's office with the thousands of revolutionaries who have stormed the building. To put into perspective how quickly staff has evacuated.
Starting point is 01:29:00 Here, emails are still on the screen alongside a federal alert warning members of the current revolution. This is something the New York Times should have done. Elijah deleted that because we said you should not put what was on the screen open in the public. There was nothing wrong with it, but we felt uncomfortable. And Elijah outside of the heat of the moment felt uncomfortable too. Not that he was in Nancy Pelosi's office.
Starting point is 01:29:35 he was documenting it as a journalist. He was not cheering it on. He was saying the opposite. I encourage everyone to watch my Wednesday night show where Elijah was on. And I asked him journalistic questions. Was it Antifa? No. Neo-Nazis.
Starting point is 01:30:02 No. Glenn, I've been to the neo-Nazi, you know, protests and violent protest. I've been beat up by Antifa. I've been inside. I know their faces. This was our side. Do you think he wanted to say that?
Starting point is 01:30:28 The answer is yes, he did. You know why? Because his side is the truth. That is our side. The truth. I am proud. of Elijah Schaefer. You are not going to find a hint
Starting point is 01:30:48 that he is sympathetic to violent rioters. What you'll see is him telling the truth. In fact, he led in the reporting to squash the rumors that Antifa was behind the siege. I said,
Starting point is 01:31:05 isn't this guy the guy with Antifa? He corrected me and said, no, he's Q and on. So I didn't delete the tweet. I corrected the tweet. He was on the front line debunking his quote,
Starting point is 01:31:27 own side snitching censors and fascists. They alerted Facebook that one of the deplorables must be depersoned. And as of this morning, Elijah Schaefer's personal, personal Facebook and Instagram account have been deleted. The pictures of him with his dog and his family. Dangerous. Gone. He has been depersoned.
Starting point is 01:32:06 The left is now going after him because they know he'll tell the truth. They know his work is dangerous because he will actually go in when the rest of the media is saying, oh no, these people are mostly peaceful. And he'll show the people who are shooting and gunning people down in the streets. He will also show the faces and identify the faces of those who were breaking glass and trying to harass and God knows what in the Capitol. He will tell the truth. You can't have an honest broker. It is predictable.
Starting point is 01:32:51 but here's where I say it has begun. 30 minutes ago, 45 minutes ago now, I learned that CNN thinks it's worth using their precious resources now to investigate Elijah, a credentialed reporter. They have started digging around trying to call his family and all of his past colleagues to find out who he really is. I can guarantee you they will go all the way until, he was what six?
Starting point is 01:33:27 The day, I mean, he's a young guy. So what was the first day he was online? They are going to go into everything about him. And I have confidence that he is fine. If he said something when he was 12, I don't really give a fly an F. I don't care. I don't care.
Starting point is 01:33:53 I care who a man is today. I want you to know. I will never fire Elijah Schaefer because Elijah Schaefer doesn't work for me. He works for the Blaze. I'm the founder of the Blaze. I'm not controlling the Blaze. I have nothing to do with the Blaze. But I will tell you this.
Starting point is 01:34:19 The phone call I got was from Blaze Media. They're not going to fire him. They are not going to, we believe an attack on one is an attack on all. And we stand behind Elijah Schaefer. And I don't care what you try to do to him. They've already tried to ruin his reputation. They are going to come after his press credentials. They're going to come after his sponsors.
Starting point is 01:34:51 They're going to come after us. They're going to come after me. They're going to come after all of us. They're coming after Mark Levine, who's also part of Blaze Media. They're coming after him. They're coming after Fox. They're coming after O-A-N. Let me just give you this.
Starting point is 01:35:14 CNN is leading to charge to find out why Newsmax, One America News, and yes, Fox News, are still being carried by AT&T and Comcast and all of the cable and satellite networks. They will fold. they will fold the next thing they're coming after Rush Limbaugh today they're coming after Rush Limbaugh and trying to pressure Clear Channel in Premiere they've been this isn't their first rodeo
Starting point is 01:35:50 quite honestly it is Rush Limbaugh that saved AM radio your local radio station exists today because of Rush Limbaugh there is freedom of speech that could be heard on a mass media because of of Clear Channel, because of Premiere Radio. But money doesn't talk, it screams.
Starting point is 01:36:22 And I can guarantee you they will come after our sponsors. I know it to be true because I've lived it before. But this time, it is to the death for them. They will take it to the death. They will not stop until all of us are done. this is the day I built the blaze for we will not comply but I warn you to do what we do takes enormous sums of money forget me my salary though I'm fine I'll work for free to do this network does takes enormous amounts of money and we built this thing with
Starting point is 01:37:24 a shock absorber and that's you your subscription there's going to come a time you won't have to worry about if this is commercial free or not because i believe there are going to be very few people that will advertise because they are going to come under such beating that their business will be destroyed i think there are a few advertisers that will say fine bring it on but i don't know and we don't rely on them. We do rely on you. I'm asking you today, not just the Blaze. And if it's not the Blaze, you don't think I have and the Blaze doesn't have anything to offer.
Starting point is 01:38:12 I'd suggest that you look at it again. But if you don't find the Blaze and Stephen Crowder and Mark Levine and Elijah Schaefer, all of these voices, Ali Stuckey, you don't find us to, offer anything that's fine find somebody who does offer the truth to you and is going to stand because today is the day i have feared for at least 10 years it is here life lock how important is your identity to you by the way can i tell you something please if you find anything valuable from our sponsors or the sponsors on your local station, they are going to come on under attack.
Starting point is 01:39:07 And I mean those car dealers and everything else that's in your neighborhood that you're listening to on your local station, please, please, if you find what they have to offer of value, please frequent them and support them because they are supporting us. All right, life luck. Cybercrime is everywhere. I want you to understand. Nobody can prevent everything because it's reinventing itself.
Starting point is 01:39:32 every day and it's getting faster and faster and faster. But if you join now, you're going to see the threats that you might miss on your own. Nobody can prevent all identity theft. But every time there has been somebody trying to open something in my name or, you know, charge something or any of them, when it's a credit card, I'll get a call from a credit card company. Hey, are you doing this? But I've gotten so many calls from LifeLock that have nothing to do with that.
Starting point is 01:40:00 Somebody's opening up insurance. and somebody's, you know, looking at my credit record for some reason. They always call me, and they've stopped a lot of stuff. It's lifelock.com, lifelock.com. Get 25% for the promo code back. Lifelock.com promo code back 1-800 Lifelock, 10 seconds, station ID. If you're a listener of Rush Limbaugh, you know that he counts every day that he is alive as a blessing. And I want to publicly thank Rush Limbaugh for creating the atmosphere and the
Starting point is 01:40:51 vehicle for millions of voices to be heard. He was a true revolutionary in the best of senses, and he has been fearless. Thank you, Rush. With that being said, If you listen to Rush, you're probably praying for Rush for an extra day. Just keep him going, Lord. The left is coming after him, and I am telling you the attacks that we have all experienced in the past, and those are relentless. All of those guns, all of that money, is going to come on to the big voices. They're going to come after the cable networks first.
Starting point is 01:41:47 They're coming after talk radio at the same time. Then high tech, what it can't clean up, their people will destroy our reputations, they will try to break us apart from you in any way that they can. You are going to have to have courage and you're going to have to know. what you believe. Your credibility is paramount. The day that I said, you may be the only person around you that someone trusts, make sure you don't take it from me, make sure you do your own homework, look for original sources. Those days are here. Courage is contagious. Back in a minute. So, relief factor. I want to talk to you about Jeffrey.
Starting point is 01:43:03 He's from Texas, and you can tell because he's the sort of guy that still runs his own auto detailing business and rides a motorcycle, and he's 71. And he's had a rough life, man, doing hard, hard work. Well, for a while he couldn't do anything because he went through this period that he had severe knee and back pain. Everybody starts to get aches and pains as you know, you get a little older. Here's this guy. man, he's going strong at 71, and he just, the pain in his knees and his back from just years of back, back breaking work, just put him out. He listens to the program. He did what I did.
Starting point is 01:43:47 First, he was like, ah, this is going to work. And he decided to call. He started taking it, and now he's out of pain. He's back to work. He's back to doing the things that he loves. I've experienced the same thing. Please try it. it's relief factor relief factor.com, 800,500,83, 84, relief factor.com.
Starting point is 01:44:11 And go to blazeTV.com slash glen. The promo code is Glenn. We need this now more than, more than ever. You can get 10 bucks off with the, using that promo code. Glenn, blazTV.com slash glen. Let me go to Ben in Pennsylvania as Pat Gray from Pat Gray on Leash joins us. Ben, welcome to the Glenn Beck program. Good morning, happy new year. Thank you. And this is the first time I'm calling a radio show. And first of all, I want to say my real name is not Ben. I happen to be a Muslim living in Pennsylvania.
Starting point is 01:44:49 I'm not going to say where. I have been listening for you and Mark and Rush for a very long time. I am a proud American citizen. that I am with obviously a white woman right now. Unfortunately, that's why I'm not saying my name. I'm afraid for her than me because they can kiss my brown behind, if I may. You'll be polite. I mean, I'm just worried about her than me.
Starting point is 01:45:19 God bless you. I can really come and, yeah. So I'm just, I'm very emotional because we are really. in a rough batch right now. And I am very optimistic person, but it's going to be very hard. It's going to be very hard. And I don't know where if it's going to be good before everybody is going to be on each other's throat. So I, that's all I had to say. It's very frightening. like I said, I'm not afraid for myself. They can really, they cannot get me.
Starting point is 01:46:03 I'm going to play like their card. I'm going to play the brown Muslim card. They want to play that game? I can't play that game, too. Even if I don't play, I have been in the U.S. for over the last 20 years. I never played that game, and I never thought of it were playing it. But if they can, if they're going to think they're going to touch a hair of the people I care about, they have to go through my body first.
Starting point is 01:46:27 It's crazy, isn't it, that we're having this conversation? Oh, yeah. I'm just going to say what I'm not from. I'm from North Africa, so, but future conversation can happen privately. I mean, I'm very, the people can take my phone number or whatever, but what I disagree with you a little bit. I know you're peaceful. Peaceful is good. Martha Luther King, Gandhi and everything. I love history. But at what point you say enough is enough when you have pretty much everything against you. Literally have nobody that's going to protect you. So I am.
Starting point is 01:47:08 Let me let me ask some, let me say something. I am neither a Democrat. I'm a another Republican. I'm a person who thinks in my own mind. All, both of them, I despise politician.
Starting point is 01:47:21 That's why I become a trans supporter. I despise them because they don't represent anybody. Can you explain? And I would like everybody that are listening. to your radio show. How come every politician they kind of get to politics they have pretty much
Starting point is 01:47:37 what, $100,000, $50,000 in their bank account afterwards they all become millionaire. Explain to me that and then that's the only thing that bother me and I love people that are from outside
Starting point is 01:47:51 but I don't for me I can understand anything anymore I can't and if the United States is going down, I don't see any hope for the rest of the world. And one last one before I talk is the Biden administration
Starting point is 01:48:08 and you don't go further. Him and his previous cooks that destroyed North Africa that's going to happen again. And if Iran is back in the market, I guarantee you we are done. Because Saudi Arabia, UAE and all those countries,
Starting point is 01:48:28 we're going to look for the bomb and what do you think they're going to go from there ben thank you appreciate it i wish i had some answers for you um but um thank you for your support thank you for listening all these years and thank you for your courage and your strength to stand um i i will tell you um being nonviolent does not mean you don't stand it doesn't mean that you kowtow you give up. It does not mean that. And I urge you to read Gandhi and I urge you to read Martin Luther King's words. There is a very aggressive plan with nonviolence. But violence, unless you are protecting, unless they're coming into your house, now is not the time for violence. But let's just leave that there for now.
Starting point is 01:49:33 Pat, you heard the news I shared a few minutes ago about the day that I, the day that I suggested the blaze was the day I said, this whole thing is going to be burned down to the ground, meaning the mainstream media. Do you remember this over and over, almost every day for about a year? This is going to burn itself down to the ground. This is like 2010.
Starting point is 01:50:01 2011, we launched the blaze, and the idea was we have to come together. We have to stand together. And thank God the last few years, many people, and there are more coming to the blaze that are standing together because they know we're in trouble now. We are in trouble. Yeah. Well, as you mentioned, and we knew they'd be coming for us. that it's happening this soon after the election. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:50:32 It's kind of amazing. But it's not a surprise because, yeah, you did, you predicted it 10 years ago or 11 years ago. And so hopefully we'll have enough to subscribers to keep us in the game. Because you said you'd be saying this out, buy it an oak tree if you had to. And we just might. Just might have to. I said 15 years ago, 10 years ago, when it was nuts, I said, they're going to try to silence us. They're going to take away everything that we have.
Starting point is 01:51:07 And if I have to go town to town and walk to each town and stand underneath the tree and speak the truth, I will. And I know you said you would and Stu said that's a long way to walk. Sounds like me. Yeah. But I want to make a promise to you as our listener. to our dying day. We will speak the truth. As we understand it, we will speak the truth.
Starting point is 01:51:38 And if we get it wrong, we will apologize. And we will search for the original sources on things and tell the hard things. When it's our side that did something wrong, it's our side. But when it's not our side, it is not our side. And we will fight for the truth. gosh, this is a weird whole break to have, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:52:05 It's true. And I will say, you know, this is not reason number one not to start a overrunning the Capitol building. It's down the list quite a bit. But the left has been very clear. They will not let a crisis go to waste. Yes. They are going to use this, the imagery from the other day. to do everything they can to shut down any possibility of a conservative voice being heard
Starting point is 01:52:31 anywhere in America. They are blaming it on us, on Mark Levin, on Rush Limbaugh, on Elijah Schaefer, on the Blaze. They're blaming that on us. That's ridiculous. Every single person you mentioned that I know of at least has denounced this from the start. And we've been preaching it. I mean, the Blaze is stand in the fire of God. because it will purify.
Starting point is 01:52:58 It will purify the truth. As long as you're standing in the truth, that blaze will purify and burn out any infections on you. And it will protect you if you are in line with the truth. That's the meaning of the blaze. Pretty amazing, too, after we just watched eight months, eight months of looting, rioting, burning down buildings, setting vehicles on fire.
Starting point is 01:53:25 It's not just that. Can we please play the montage of the media over the last eight months? Listen to this. I want to be clear in how I characterize this. This is mostly a protest. It is not generally speaking unruly. Batting a riot what we're seeing right now in Minneapolis. They are strictly principled anti-fascists, and they've taken a principal stand to stand against white supremacists and white nationalists wherever they may show up. I argue to you tonight, all punches are not equal morally. It says it right in the name, Antifa, anti-fascism, which is what they were there fighting. Listen, there's no organization is perfect. There was some violence.
Starting point is 01:54:08 Any reasonable person would say we shouldn't be destroying other people's property, but these are not reasonable times. Thank goodness for the looters, man. And please, show me where it says that protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful. I don't care that much about statues. shouldn't that be done by a commission or the city council, not a mob in the middle of the night, throwing it into the harbor? People will do what they do. You're seeing behind me is one of multiple locations that have been burning in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Starting point is 01:54:34 Do not get it twisted and think that, oh, this is something that has not never happened before, and then this is so terrible, and where are we and these savages and all of that? This is how this country was started. People get mad, and people get sick of it. People are risking COVID to explain to this country. that we're fed up. Most of the major movements in American history have started at the grassroots level and at some point have turned into direct conflict with American government.
Starting point is 01:55:05 So remember your history before you judge, you're present. Thuggishness is thuggishness wherever it comes from politically, and we should be the first to call it out. This is amazing. I disagree. Believeable. Really is. Unbelievable.
Starting point is 01:55:19 For 90 days in a row all year. There was violence. every single day for 90 days in a row. And they excused it. They said the exact opposite they're saying today. I mean, listen, they call them revolutionaries. Revolutionaries. That's what Cuomo was saying.
Starting point is 01:55:41 Revolution starts like this. Yeah, it does. And that's not a good thing. It's not a good thing. Does anybody, anybody on the left that thinks they're doing the right thing and saving the principles of America. Do you even know what a revolution looks like? We are in the midst of a color revolution. And a color revolution is following exactly the pattern I outlined on the board two weeks before the election. It's following it exactly. It's just
Starting point is 01:56:15 the other side now is the one that started it at the Capitol. But that's what I outlined. I outlined they have a compliant media that will back up whatever story needs to be backed up for a revolution. That's what's happening. And you can't play into their hands. Why am I even talking about this with you?
Starting point is 01:56:38 You know this. You know this. Pat, bring me something happy. Something funny. Wow. Oh, I have something. Good. Good.
Starting point is 01:56:51 All right. All right. There's a new show. Oh, a little parental warning here. for this particular segment. There's a new show coming out. It is called...

Starting point is 01:57:23 And it's a new children's show. for kids 8 to 12 Excuse me 4 to 8, sorry 4 to 8 48 years old Dillerman has an extraordinary penis So extraordinary in fact That it can perform
Starting point is 01:57:37 Rescue Operations Hetch murals Hoist a flag and even steal ice cream from children The Danish equivalent of the BBC Has a new animated series aimed at 4 to 8 year olds About John Dillerman
Starting point is 01:57:49 The man's with a world's Longest penis 4 to 8 year olds Who overcomes hardships and challenges with his record breaking genitals. Now, there's shocking those pushback on this, even in the, in Denmark. However, it's not that kids shouldn't have a show about a very long penis on the air. It should be that women should have penises too?
Starting point is 01:58:12 That's a good guess. All right. Okay. No, no. Let me give you some of the quotes. He's not the only one that has a penis that can rescue people. That's a great. I'm surprised it's not that.
Starting point is 01:58:22 All right. Okay. Is this really the. message we want to send to children? Now, there you could stop and have a good conversation. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Is this really the message we want to send to children while we are in the middle of a huge me too wave?
Starting point is 01:58:37 Is perpetuating the standard idea of a patriarchal society and normalizing locker room culture that has been used to excuse a lot of bad behavior for men? I have a cartoon character who uses their vagina as a vault. It's where we keep all the defense. the tanks, everything. She's got such an enormous vagina that, hello, I'm inside Gloria's vagina.
Starting point is 01:59:05 I just, this is risky. What turns it on? I don't know. I'll try to get you. You're looking for a promotion here. I will say this. To put you at ease, he always takes responsibility for his actions.
Starting point is 01:59:19 When a woman in the show tells him that he should keep his penis in his pants, for instance, he listens. which is nice. Yeah, that is great. That's the quote. It's great. It's great.
Starting point is 01:59:28 Thank you very much, Stu, for that. Now here in, uh, inside of Gloria, I want to, I want to bring you over here.
