The Glenn Beck Program - The Reason Biden Suddenly 'Cares' About the Border | 6/4/24

Episode Date: June 4, 2024

Filling in for Glenn, Stu gives his opinion on Trump’s 34-count conviction and points out the hypocrisy of the Left’s sudden love and respect for the judicial system. Pat and Stu discuss the House... hearing with Dr. Fauci and the unique way he can lie when faced with his own words and testimony. More evidence is coming out about COVID-19, further proving the theory that COVID-19 was manipulated using gain-of-function research. The amount of proof Democrats need to believe the wrongdoing of their own is impossibly high. Don’t be fooled; President Biden doesn’t suddenly care about the border. Stu and Pat discuss the increase in grocery store prices, including essential items like orange juice, making the most important meal of the day more challenging to afford. The Democrats have a big problem regarding re-election: the economy. New polls have been released after Trump's conviction, and his conviction doesn’t seem to have negatively affected his candidacy so far.  Learn more about your ad choices. Starting point is 00:01:38 Yeah, this is amazing. You're going to be surprised. I am because I mean, I watched the case. There's like nothing. They had no evidence. It was a joke, so obviously he was fine. Well, we'll get you caught up on that. And, of course, Anthony Fauci appeared before Congress yesterday.
Starting point is 00:01:55 That was some fun. Get into that and lots more. Coming up in one minute. Well, you have to declare a lot of things when you're traveling on a plane. Guns, ammunition, knives, swords. I know typically, Pat, you usually travel with swords. A lot of times, yeah. A lot of times you do.
Starting point is 00:02:12 But you have to usually. Samurai swords, usually. Yeah, yeah. But you have to declare those, right, when you're on a plane? Yeah, you do. You do. They don't usually like, at least they don't let you have to carry on. No.
Starting point is 00:02:20 That stuff, no. But you don't have to declare something that could save your life or someone you love. A burn a launcher. Did you know that? I didn't know that. There's a non-lethal alternative to safeguarding your home that will send potential threats running in the opposite direction. It's legal in all 50 states, no permits or background checks required.
Starting point is 00:02:38 I just got one for my wife. She loves it. It's really, really cool. And you can pack it in your checked luggage without the need to declare it as a firearm, making your airport experience smoother. There are times when non-lethal really is the way to go. The burner launcher has powerful deterrence like tear gas and kinetic rounds with a 60-foot range, and one shot can incompathing

You know, I think with, by the way, Pat and Stu for Glenn this week, with the verdict last week that you weren't here for,
Starting point is 00:03:27 were you? I mean, we saw it coming because The judge seemed hell bent on a conviction here. And the people of New York were probably hell bent, the jurors that they picked from this thing. But, I mean, there was so little evidence to convict Donald Trump. I mean, even though we could kind of see the handwriting on the wall that they were going to do this anyway. I was still stunned. I was still stunned that it actually did, in fact, happen.
Starting point is 00:03:58 It's weird. 34 counts? Yeah, I know. It's strange. It's like, you know, it's like, you know, it's they, they constantly tell you they can't, it's hard for them to predict the weather, but they say they can predict the weather over long periods of time, you know, like they're like, oh, well, we know climate change. We're 100% sure that.
Starting point is 00:04:16 We can't tell you what's coming next week. It was sort of that type of situation where like in a, in a pragmatic moment to moment analysis of this case, I was absolutely. stunned, right? Like, I mean, if you actually follow the case and think about our country the way it used to be, this is insane. And you can come to some conclusion based on the way the rules were set up. You could come up with a conclusion that might lead to him having a guilty verdict because
Starting point is 00:04:51 of what they did, right? Like they said, you don't even have to know what the other crime is, what they're tying this to. And that's why, of course, they went past the statute of. limitation and why it wasn't a misdemeanor. And then they said you have to tie it to a secondary crime. You don't have to agree on what that crime is. We're not going to tell you what it is.
Starting point is 00:05:09 And we're not going to allow any witness testimony as to let you understand further how those crimes work. Wow. That with those sorts of rules, I'm not surprised at all there's a conviction. Right. I am surprised in the long term, though, of like, what our country has turned into. So I think that's the thing. It's stunning.
Starting point is 00:05:28 It is. It is stunning that we have turned. into, you know, I don't know, El Salvador or something from the 1980s. Like, it's not, it doesn't. Not even El Salvador today. Not today. I mean, today it seems. Seems a little better.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Yeah, it seems better than it used to be, certainly. But like, just pick your random South American country that you, I mean, I don't want to bring up Grenada. I know Jeffie was on the show yesterday and served there. But like, just pick your, like, random country that you every once in a while hear about on the news that has one political party coming after the other one and trying to get them basically removed from the ballot or society and put them in prison. That's like what we are now.
Starting point is 00:06:10 And I don't know how long term this doesn't cause massive problems for us, not just the country, but like Democrats too. Yeah. Like we have Letitia James and Alvin Bragg who both run on a platform. of I'm prejudging this person. That is my platform. I'm going to put Donald Trump in prison. I'm going to bankrupt Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:06:38 I'm going to go after him with the full force of my position because we know leading into this election how much you don't like him. And both of them did this and they followed through with it. Yeah. They promised their voters. They both got the job done. Now, I mean, I know there are Democrats. who live in red areas.
Starting point is 00:06:59 I wouldn't want to do it anymore if I were them. If I was a prominent Democrat, you want to live in an area that is an 80% support district for a Republican? Because you're going to get every single one of these Republicans running on that platform. Hey, Bob down the street, that prominent Democrat, we all know.
Starting point is 00:07:16 We don't like him that much. He's a Democrat. Well, I'm running on, I'm going to make sure I'm looking at all of every form that guy has filed over the last 10 years. Yeah, good luck with that. Yeah, if there's any way to put him in prison, I'm going to do it.
Starting point is 00:07:30 No, I don't think that's a good thing at all. It's not a good thing. But it's going to happen. Oh, for sure. There's just no question. And there's to happen. No justification to argue against it if you're a Democrat and cheer this on. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:42 No justification. Right. The other thing that this does for me is make it really hard to believe that he doesn't do jail time. I can't envision this judge giving him any sentence but jail. if he were to say, yeah, you know what, community service, I would be stunned at this point, shocked, because he's shown how much he hates Trump. And I, you know, and they've scheduled it for four days
Starting point is 00:08:11 before the opening of the Republican National Convention. And I think he'd like nothing better than to sentence him that day for immediate incarceration. Right. And then he can't, but he can't, he's making the speech from prison. Yeah. And of course, that would do nothing.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Nothing, but, you know, you know how much money he would raise? I heard he raised $70 million in the aftermath. I think altogether it was over $200 million. Oh, since then. Yeah. Wow. It was $70 million in the first 36 hours or something. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:38 Incredible amounts. And just that, you know, I don't know, honestly, if we get to the election and this is the thing that turns it or this is the thing we're talking about. We have six months here, or five months, I guess, now, before this happens. And so much happens in that time. And I don't know. Honestly, the more and more I look at this, the less. unless I think the legal aspects are going to be a big part of this campaign.
Starting point is 00:08:59 I mean, just yesterday, they came out with a ruling on the Fannie Willis situation, gave a date at least on whether she would be able to continue on this case. And it's October, which means the Georgia one's not happening before the election. And that was the second most likely one to happen before the election. And you have the other two, the documents and the January 6th thing from the federal side, also very unlikely to see the light of day before the election, which means that this is kind of it. You'll have the sentencing, which you're right will be big.
Starting point is 00:09:32 And I was asked about this in an interview this morning, and I didn't have a prepared question, so I kind of thought it out through as I was, you know, I was sort of talking it out as I was going. But like, I think the most likely situation is that he does get sentences to jail time. However, he doesn't actually have to serve it until after the appeal. and that, again, would push it past the election.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Now, that might mean he serves jail time, but it might be served only in a situation where he loses and is out after the election. So again, I don't know. I mean, this may very well be it as far as actual legal discussions as it applies to Trump. Because he's got 54 more charges pending. 54 more.
Starting point is 00:10:14 And as I said, a million times. They're not going to go over for 91. They're going to get them on something. They got them already on 34 things. Out of everything. It was ridiculous. accused him of so far they've got him on. 34 of 34.
Starting point is 00:10:25 I was actually, I mean, how much do you have to hate someone to convict him on all 34? Let's even think you did you think you did something wrong here. Yeah. Okay. Let's say you think the payment was wrong and hiding it. You're thinking he's hiding it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:39 You think he hit it with the filing it as legal. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And he used campaign funds. All we've heard, Pat, for the last four years. is you have to respect election results. They are putting him in prison under the premise
Starting point is 00:10:56 that he stole the 2016 election. Yeah. That is what this is premised on. They're saying he did this in effort to steal the 2016 election. And I don't know. I can't remember who won New York in 2016. I know it was close.
Starting point is 00:11:11 But like that is legitimately an underlying, which is amazing after they say you must respect election results, just like Pat. They said you, must respect, Pat. The justice system. You do believe these Republicans?
Starting point is 00:11:28 They are saying this has been rigged. And here we are Democrats that have respected every aspect of our legal system for 50 years. All we do is we never say anyone is unfairly convicted of a crime.
Starting point is 00:11:44 We wouldn't even know how to let those words spill out of our mouths. Sure. Every single person of color that goes to prison, we say that about sure every single time a police officer is acquitted of defending themselves with a firearm when someone's charging at them and shoot
Starting point is 00:12:03 and we go out and protest in the streets say hands up don't shoot for three years and then they go to the justice system and that police officer with all the video evidence they have gets acquitted and then we riot in the streets but we must respect the justice system Like when Roe versus Wade was overturned, guess what? Part of the justice system, boys and girls.
Starting point is 00:12:26 But we must respect it. It's so laughable. They have been telling us every single aspect of this system has been, I mean, criminal justice reform is based on what? Systemic racism inside the justice system. The whole thing is based on not believing the justice system. And then here they are on television. A jury of their peers.
Starting point is 00:12:54 Sad Donald Trump was guilty, and now Republicans are questioning it? How dare they? It's so laughable. It's as if we haven't been alive for the past 30, 40, 50 years. It's insanity. We all have seen them. Every single time they get a verdict they don't like complain about the justice system. And now it's the most pure thing in the world.
Starting point is 00:13:20 It's incredible. It is. Incredible. All right. Triple 8, 727B-E-C-K. More coming up in one minute. All right, next time you pull through the drive-thru and get a burger or whatever, take it home and throw it in the microwave and set that probably for about, I don't know, an hour or so.
Starting point is 00:13:38 Long enough that it comes out smoldering heap of charcoal. Don't actually do that because you'll burn your house down probably. But spray a little beef flavoring on it and then try eating it. See how that works for you. Does that sound good? It doesn't sound like the healthiest or happiest way to eat. But kind of your dog feels the same way about kibble food and would really like some rough greens instead.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Rough greens is not a dog food. It's a supplement developed by a naturopathic doctor Dennis Black that you sprinkle on top of the dog food. Brown food is dead food. Think of that burger in the microwave. You don't want that. You don't want the greens. You name it if it's healthy for your dog, it's probably in rough greens.
Starting point is 00:14:13 The folks at rough greens are so confident that your dog is going to love it. They have a special deal for you. go to roughgreens.com slash Beck or call 833, Glenn 33. They're going to give you a first trial bag for free. It's free right now. All I have to do is pay shipping. It's 833 Glenn 33, 833, G-L-E-N-N-33. Give them a call today.
Starting point is 00:14:35 It's Rough Greens. 10 seconds, station ID. It's Pat and Stufer Glenn today, AAA 727 B-E-C-K. Also, yesterday Anthony Fauci finally sat in front of Congress to answer some questions. and, you know, he was brilliant as always, and so truthful. And so powerful. Yeah. And I think you're going to notice just how likable a man he is as well.
Starting point is 00:15:13 I mean, I don't know if this, I don't know how it's going to work with Donald Trump and the Fauci thing. I think that's going to be maybe an issue for him in this upcoming. In what way? Well, in the way that Fauci was his guy for about a year. And Fauci is not a good guy. And Fauci manipulated us, lied to us, kept things from us, and then wants to have it both ways on every single issue. From the gain of function stuff that we weren't funding, then we were funding, to the lab didn't release. it to the lab did release it to I
Starting point is 00:15:59 never said the lab didn't release this thing. I never said it didn't come from the lab. We've got the audio. We've got the video of him saying these things over and over and over again. The opposite of everything he says now is what he said then. And
Starting point is 00:16:17 he got called on it yesterday multiple times. Here's Jim Jordan talking to Fauci. Prior to that call would have been on the call. Well, the call was arranged by Jeremy Farah, you should ask him. Okay. Did U.S. tax dollars flow through a grant recipient to the lab in China?
Starting point is 00:16:34 I'm sorry. Did U.S. tax dollars flow through a grant recipient to the lab in China? Yes, of course. It was a sub-award to the Wuhan Institute. And who approved that award? Excuse me? And who approved that award? What agency approved that award?
Starting point is 00:16:47 National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Your agency approved that, right? Yes, it did after. Does that have anything to do with this downplaying of the lab leak theory? No. Nothing to do with it. Nothing. Of course not.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Do you agree that there was a push to downplay the lab leak theory? Not on my part. Really? Really? Wow. I think most of the country would find that amazing. I still got 11 seconds. But look at the facts.
Starting point is 00:17:13 I've kept an open mind throughout the entire process. Oh, that's cool. Oh, yeah. An open mind throughout the entire process. It's only one thing came out of it. Yeah. Yeah. It was open.
Starting point is 00:17:27 And I mean, do you remember how people were treated that said, I think this was a lab leak? And you didn't even have to say it was on purpose. You know, just the lab leaked it. That's what I thought the whole time. Yeah, I didn't think it was on purpose. I didn't necessarily think it was on purpose. Right. I mean, again, you're talking about, I mean, look, China has a record of killing a lot of millions of their own people, but it would be an odd.
Starting point is 00:17:49 It's not necessarily what most countries would do. In this day and age, it would be strange. Yes. I don't put it completely past them. I don't. And it could be obviously that they were manipulating these diseases for negative purposes and it leaked out. I mean, there's a lot of different nuance within a lab leak claim. Very easily could have just been a mistake.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Right. Right. Good intentions that went to a mistake. You're dealing with something. You're changing something in nature that shouldn't be changed. That if it's going to evolve, it'll evolve on its own. Otherwise, why don't you leave it alone? And then if it does evolve to the point where we need to deal with it.
Starting point is 00:18:26 it and come up with a vaccine. We'll deal with it at that point. But we're, you know, we're taking nature into our own hands and we're messing with these things that we've got no business messing with. And we're doing it again, by the way, with bird flu. They're trying right now through gain of function to make bird flu communicable from human to human. Why would you do that? Yeah. Well, so we can develop a vaccine if we ever need it. Well, it's not passing from human to human right now. How about we keep it that way? And then we don't have to worry about it. I mean, if you're just getting it from animals, we all have a pretty good chance.
Starting point is 00:19:03 We're not going to get it. But when you start being able to pass this from human to human, then you got a problem. And like, you can even come up with a justification for it, right? Like, you can even come up with an idea of why you would want to do this type of research. If it, let's say we knew it was somehow impenetrably safe, right? Right. It would be something that would be potentially worthwhile. If you know, you keep a lid on it.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Yeah, like if you knew that, of course we don't know that. And a lot of the back and forth in these emails was talking about, hey, they're doing this in like facilities that are not at all secure. So, you know, again, this is why you just don't do it. We don't have, there's no reason this should continue. By the way, it still is happening right now. As you mentioned, we mentioned with the bird flu. But like, people were like, oh, they ban gain of function research, which by the way was there was never a ban on gain of function research. There was a ban on the funding.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Yeah. from the federal government during the Obama administration, which was lifted during the Trump administration, by the way. You know, again, that's not necessarily Trump's fault. There's a lot of nuance in that, but like that was, it came back on later on. The whole point, though, is this is a situation where all of this, the entire time, is still gone on. We don't know what, what China is doing.
Starting point is 00:20:17 And, you know, look, we don't know that the funding led to COVID-19, even if it wasn't. a lab leak. We don't know that the funding led directly to that. It could have easily been that they were doing this on their own. There was other grants that were supposedly going to go through that were really specific to this. The grants didn't go through, but likely
Starting point is 00:20:38 China did the research anyway and very well could be the cause of this. The bottom line though is that people need to be held responsible for what happened here. And they keep denying it. We know for a fact they were hiding this stuff. We now have
Starting point is 00:20:54 the emails of them hiding from people like Rand Paul. The idea that they were going to, I mean, there's a hundred different things we talked about not only on this show, but the past show. I don't want to go through all of them. We only got a few seconds here. But like they were evading FOIA requests on this stuff. Yeah. We know that now.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Right. Like I suspected it the entire time. It certainly looked like it was happening. And now we have emails with them discussing how to do it. We have emails when you're discussing that the FOIA people at their offices were instructing them where to pass this information so it wouldn't be caught up in a FOIA request. Incredible. And all denied it at the time. All denied at the time.
Starting point is 00:21:40 And Fauci yesterday was still denying it. Yep. Now, we don't have necessarily Fout an out email from Fauci describing that just his close associate saying he was doing it with Fauci. And Fauci is still denying it. It's incredible. Incredible. Incredible. All right, AAA 727 BECK.
Starting point is 00:21:58 More Pat and Stu for Glenn coming up. Sometimes the cost of doing one's duty comes very, very high. There are heroes in this country. And look, here and abroad, service members at first responders are like who will give everything of themselves up to, and including paying the ultimate price in service to their nation. So who was there to help them? Who was there to help their families?
Starting point is 00:22:24 Who exactly is on the front line for those who are on the front line? for those who are on the front lines. Well, it's the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Their gold star, fallen first responders, smart home, and homeless veteran programs comprise there in the line of duty programs. And these are dedicated to honoring our nation's heroes and their families, engaging people in 9-11 remembrance across America.
Starting point is 00:22:46 They host over 80 walks and climbs a year, dozens of golf outings. They run to the tunnel to Towers 9-11 Institute, educating kids that are never going to forget and how to make sure that that doesn't happen. More than 95 cents of every dollar that you donate to Tunnel to Towers goes to these programs. Never forget the sacrifices of our greatest heroes.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Go to T2T.org. T the number two t.org. It's T2T.org. Speaking of Fauci, don't miss Blaze TV's new docu-series with Matt Kibby, the cover-up. Exposing Fauci for what he is. A liar. Pat Gray, Stubergear for Glenn today,
Starting point is 00:23:51 AAA 727BECK. Talked about this Fauci hearing. It's out of control. I mean, it's... You talk about your head exploding, needing duct tape to keep the pieces together. Your eyes bleeding. I can't listen to...
Starting point is 00:24:08 Listening to Anthony Fauci is almost as bad as listening to Joe Biden for me. It's so unbelievable. What bothers me is just the denial of... of what he was saying before. Like, again, everything, really. Right. It's really frustrating.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Everything. And we have evidence of it. We have the proof of what he was saying back then. Stylistically, like, I don't know, Marjorie Taylor Green, not my favorite. Right. Like, again, I don't know. No, I know. Like, just her approach is not my approach.
Starting point is 00:24:38 I like the Rand Paul approach better. I do too. But still, it's like. But she said a lot yesterday that needed to be said. Well, yeah. And they also, they'll get to that coming up. by the way. They also continually go back to this and act as if nothing happens. It is, I don't know how else to describe it other than gaslighting. And I know that term gets so
Starting point is 00:24:59 overused, but it really does fit here. They act as if we've just forgot everything that occurred. Right. I know. It's really hard to get over. Yeah. You know, I, I, it's really important that we come to some sort of conclusion. I mean, it really is the most important thing we, the government should be doing. Yeah. Maybe not the most. I mean, national defense.
Starting point is 00:25:20 But like, I think this fits into it. It's up there. Yeah. Getting to the end of what happened during this period where we took away the liberty of all Americans for anywhere from three months to two years. And that can't happen again. Can't happen again. We can't stand for that.
Starting point is 00:25:38 No. We have to. And honestly, like, we already have a system that should be able to handle this. And it's called personal liberty. You know, it's like we haven't, it's like an operating system that if you kind of process these calculations, it should bring you to a point where, you know, you want to try to come up with, you know, solutions to these things. You can. You can suggest them, but the people make their own decisions.
Starting point is 00:26:02 And I think the reason why there's been such a revolt is you did, you try to take that decision making process away from people. What if we had something, I don't know, like a charter of liberties of some sort, like a, I don't know what you would call something like that, like a. constitution sort of thing. Kind of boring, but yeah. Compact, if you will. Sounds dull. You know, it does, doesn't it? It sounds boring and old and something old-timey that countries used to do that don't really do anymore. Because you don't want to have to be bound by a set of rules that limit the government.
Starting point is 00:26:37 You know what I mean? Yeah, it seems weird. A charter maybe of negative liberties that tells you what the government can't do to the people. Like shut down your business, for instance. for no apparent reason. Really? Uh-huh. Like make you stay home.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Like make you take a vaccine that you don't want to take, those kinds of things. The more you say it, the more it seems like a good idea. Really? Maybe we should consider it. Do you think that there's any precedent for a country doing something like this? I don't. Not that I can think of right now, because, you know, my whole memory has been clouded by the last four years. So I was looking for some old clip of Studeau's America.
Starting point is 00:27:16 the show that I do here on police TV. And it was something to do with COVID. And I was looking back at some of the early shows. And one of the shows I did, it was in, I want to say it was like mid-March, 2020. And I'm on there going like, hey, like, I understand what they keep saying here as far as we need to shut down these businesses and spend all this money. But like, when do we stop spending this money? You're like, what is the line here? We had spent like $8 million.
Starting point is 00:27:49 I was just, I was on the air like ranting about, I mean, I think the first. Little did you know there were trillions to come. Trillions to come. I mean, of course, at that point, I have no idea and couldn't imagine it. I don't even know if we were shut down yet at this point. Like, people were talking about it. I don't think in mid-barge we were. Yeah, it was March 15th, 13th, 2020.
Starting point is 00:28:08 I think is when we first had the first 15 days to slow the spread. Yeah. And by the way, on stage for that moment, Anthony Fauci. Right. And look, as you mentioned, Donald Trump was on that stage too. I mean, like, you can give some grace, I think, at the very beginning for people not understanding what was coming and how to handle it. Absolutely. But this is, of course, why you process these things through the lens of personal liberty.
Starting point is 00:28:30 If you do that. That's why you follow the Constitution no matter why. I mean, it might look bleak. It might look dire. It might look scary. Doesn't matter. That's when you need it most. Right.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Exactly. You don't need your principles when decisions are easy. Right. You need them when it's difficult. Right. Friendly speech, nice speech, doesn't need to be protected. Right. You don't have to worry about it.
Starting point is 00:28:53 And then you have to fall. What you do is in those moments where, gosh, this feels really bad. I mean, he's saying some really nasty words. I don't like them at all. They're making me very angry, as a lot of people do. Right? They say things I don't really like. And then you say, wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:29:07 Wait, fall back on our principles here. What are our principles? Oh, free speech. Okay, well, that's something that's central to everything that we talk about on a daily basis. And the reason why we're able to come do this show every day and why shows like ours, I mean, this has happened to Jordan Peterson,
Starting point is 00:29:22 Mark Stein, many others in Canada, which is a relatively free space compared to North Korea and other examples we could come up with. And these people have been targeted by their own countries. Yeah. Right? Like, this is what this operating system is supposed to protect against.
Starting point is 00:29:38 And if you go back and you think about, think about like the food pyramid, right? The food pyramid, something, I think they've changed that, right? Didn't know Michelle Obama changed the food pyramid to something else that I don't even know what it is. You think they did, yeah. You're supposed to have 95, you know, who donates the most money? The milk industry, 95 servings of milk every day.
Starting point is 00:29:57 And we had that pyramid. And it was these daily recommendations about what you're supposed to eat to make yourself healthy. And like, very rarely, maybe in some libertarian circles occasionally, you want to go on maybe reason.com. You'll see a couple pieces against the FDA pyramid. but like generally speaking, you know what the FDA pyramid is? It's something that no one cares about. It's a recommendation from the government that people look at and they say, actually, how many of those things can I combine on a burger?
Starting point is 00:30:24 And I'll tell you how many I'm eating this week. No one cares about the food pyramid because it's a recommendation. You don't have to follow it. It is their best guess at what you should be eating. Now, of course, it changes every three months. We know that. But just like the, the guidance from the government during COVID.
Starting point is 00:30:45 It was no masks and then it was must mask and it was, you know, we never come up with a vaccine for 12 years and then all of a sudden we have the vaccine and you have to take it and you can't bring your kids to school. But I mean, actually, you know, we all agree that kids opening schools. That was totally fine. Well, all these things changed a million times, but they tried to mandate all of them. And that's what pissed people off. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:08 If you tell, if you make people do things, especially when you're not in. entirely sure. You can have some grace from people. I think honestly, if they were like, look, I don't know. Here's what we think is happening. We think masks might help. So, I mean, if you can get some, use them
Starting point is 00:31:27 because it's probably not going to hurt. So give it a shot. If that was their approach, some people would use the mask. Some people would say, like, I don't want these things on my face. I don't like them. I'm going to take the risk. If that was the way this played out,
Starting point is 00:31:40 these hearings don't exist. Especially when, Fauci himself in the beginning said masks were virtually useless. Yes. They're not going to help. That's not going to stop it. It's like sand going through a chain link fence. It didn't stop anything.
Starting point is 00:31:56 And he knew that. And he said it at the beginning and then completely changed it. I represent science. Thanks. Thanks, Tony. You know, if you, there are two ways to go here. You can either say, like they do, in North Korea.
Starting point is 00:32:13 Here is the truth. You will follow it. This is what I say. You do it. You better be freaking right if you're doing that stuff, unless you happen to be Kim Jong-un, because that doesn't matter. You can be right or wrong to nobody cares. But if you have a government system like that, you can go that way.
Starting point is 00:32:29 You can say, I am capital S science, and I will tell you what is right and what was wrong and you will listen. And you're an idiot if you don't listen because I am science and I am right. you can go that direction if you like, but you can't go that direction and then also go the new direction they want, which is it was really hard. It was COVID. No one knew what was going on.
Starting point is 00:32:51 We tried our best. We tried to give recommendations. We didn't know for sure. That is actually real, though. That is what it was. That would have been real. And we would have appreciated that. That would have been okay.
Starting point is 00:33:03 I would have been okay with that. And I think there's some, even if you want to reverse it, you can say that there's too much criticism that we all knew that X, Y, and Z was the way this was going to play out. There is some of that, I think, that floats around from the right that says, oh, well, we knew everything about it in March 2020 and all these people are idiots. I will say, though, we did say a lot of these things. We did say a lot of these things.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Here's one that was never controversial. Don't import COVID positive patients into nursing homes. That was never, that was obvious from day one. Everyone knew it. There was never a scientist being like, actually, it would be really good for these people who don't have COVID to be rooming with people who do, especially when they're elderly. Never a time where that was a thing. We said that at the beginning.
Starting point is 00:33:48 And look, just because you say something in the beginning and it turns out to be right, doesn't mean you were right to say it at the beginning, right? Like, because of the fact that people were unsure, people said everything. Yeah. People were saying, oh, well, saunas will cure COVID. And people were said everything about COVID. Light. People said everything about COVID.
Starting point is 00:34:07 The bottom line is, if you don't know. know for sure, having some level of grace for a person who says, look, here's our best thought on this. We understand this is a tough time. Follow it if you want. We think you should. But if you don't, you're taking a risk. And if that's on you.
Starting point is 00:34:32 My gosh, I would have appreciated that so much. Yeah. That's a healthy way to handle that situation. That's not how they approached it, though. No. But they're trying to say now that they did. Right. They're trying to say, like, actually, we said we thought schools should be open.
Starting point is 00:34:45 Sorry, we were there. We remember your daily briefings. We remember what we were told every single day by the likes of Fauci and Burks. And Cuomo. And, yes, all these buffoons who were trying to tell us that they knew the science on this. And we needed to follow the science. That's what we were told the whole time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:07 We're following the science. And you need to follow the science. Well, you weren't following science. You didn't know. And now you admit that, but you didn't at the time. And science is an unsure developing process. And you have to admit that if you want any credibility with people. They didn't do that.
Starting point is 00:35:26 They've lost credibility. People don't believe anything anymore. Right. I mean, if the bird flu epidemic, epidemic turned into some terrible, terrible pandemic like COVID, half the country wouldn't believe a word of it. it. And it's because of what they did. Instead of just trusting people to make their own decisions and realizing that there was risk associated with life that people needed to make those decisions on their own, with their tolerance of risk. I mean, it would have been a much healthier
Starting point is 00:35:56 society today, even if you argue that it may have made some people sick. It may have. I don't know. I mean, it's hard to believe it could have gone worse than what it did. But like, maybe it would have been worse. I don't know. But at least people would have been in response. for their own outcomes. 8-7-27-B-E-C-K. It's Pat and Stu for Glenn today. Starting point is 00:36:42 This is something that Glenn started years and years and years ago because he had a bad experience with his own real estate agent. He was looking to buy and sell a home. And if you're in radio, you move every like nine months for your first 25 years in your career. It's wonderful. Let me highly recommend it as a way to make your living. Real estate agents I trust.com, it's a place to go. They have the best agents.
Starting point is 00:37:05 They've screened them already for you. Don't just pick a fly. or in the name under the house you're looking at on the internet, you've got to do a little bit more than that. And real estateagentsitrust.com has done that for you already. Do it now. Real estateagentsitrust.com. It's real estate agents, I trust.com.
Starting point is 00:37:21 Get even more, Glenn. Subscribe to the Glenn Beck podcast anywhere podcasts are found. This is the Glenn Beck program. So where's your money going when you start to invest it? What kind of things are you funding that you might not even know about? You know, you've done the research. maybe you know when you're thinking about stuff at the store, Bud Light or Disney movie, you want to skip maybe because of the woke stuff. But what about your investments? This is why you want Constitution wealth. They can help you build a solid investment plan because, you know, you got to retire someday. You need to be building up that portfolio.
Starting point is 00:38:04 You don't want to do it in a way that fights against your principles, your values. Constitution wealth understands that. They're here to give you the best options. They can reduce your investments in ESG and DEI and all the nonsense you want to avoid. and they can do it in a way that still helps you make money. I mean, if you got a couple hundred thousand dollars or more in a retirement account, you're thinking, how do I get myself in the right position? Well, you need to be able to do this in a way that aligns with who you are. And this is an opportunity to help build the parallel economy by working with an investment firm that's built on professionals who are patriots just like you.
Starting point is 00:38:40 You can work with an advisor that shares your conservative patriotic values. Why would you work with anyone else? I mean, do you really want to take investment strategies from an advisor who's not on the same page with you in terms of the values you hold? Go to constitutionwealth.com slash blaze. Constitutionwealth.com slash blaze. Go there. I mean, you can skip a six pack of the convenience store and that'll do some damage. But, you know, seriously, it's a much bigger deal of what you're doing with your retirement.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Constitutionwealth.com slash blaze. It's Pat and Stuferglint today. Vouchy. Fouchy. Anthony Fauci appeared before Congress yesterday and faced some questions. And he's sticking to his story on the vaccine, that it's safe and effective. Here's what he said. You said in an interview that you gave as part of an audiobook written by Michael Specter
Starting point is 00:39:41 that you believed an institutional should make it hard for people to live their lives so they'd feel pressured to get vaccinated. Can we run the audio clip on that, please? You think can be done about it. I have to say that I don't see a big solution other than some sort of mandatory vaccination. I know federal officials don't like to use that term. Once people feel empowered and protected legally, you were going to have schools, universities, and colleges are going to say, you want to come to this college, buddy? You're going to get vaccinated.
Starting point is 00:40:16 Lady, you're going to get vaccinated. Big corporations like Amazon and Facebook and all of those others are going to say, you want to work. for us you get vaccinated. And it's been proven that when you make it difficult for people in their lives, they lose their ideological bull-h-h-h-h-h. And they get vaccinated. Thank you. Are all objections to COVID-vaccinations, ideological bull-h-h-d-doch, Dr. Pouchy?
Starting point is 00:40:47 No, they're not. And that's not what I was referring to. Well, in reference to making it hard for people to get education. I mean, traveling. We got that. That wasn't the safe and effective one, but that was one where he just flat out lied again. I mean, we just heard him say it. What do you mean that's not what you were refrained? Those were the words that came out of your mouth and you're denying them. And they tried all those things. And he actually outlines exactly what occurred here when he says, as soon as they feel protected legally, this will happen. Well, they did try it and they were not protected legally. They got overturned by the courts. So that's why they didn't.
Starting point is 00:41:25 wind up doing it, right? I mean, that's the only reason they didn't wind up doing it. Yeah. Just agonizing. Yeah. Why? You just said it. Mm-hmm. You just said it. And yet you sit there and deny that you just said it. I mean, I guess he didn't technically say all opposition to it was. Like, you know, like maybe there's some. I can't. But they're always, he's always trying to do this. Like, we all heard you. We all saw this. This happened. He did a million interviews. I mean, look, the guy, the one, probably honestly, Fauci's best defense is if he just came out and said, look, I'll be honest with you, I didn't do much of anything. All I was doing was doing interviews. All I was doing was media. I wasn't actually doing
Starting point is 00:42:04 anything with this virus at all. That would be accurate. That would probably be his, honestly, his best defense against this. I didn't know anything about, like, you're just like one of the, I was a figurehead. All I did was go and do media interviews. Or, look, I said everything on this, just so that I would hit something that was correct along the way. Exactly. I was just playing the odds. That's true. He did. The Glenn Beck Programme. 60% of the vans on Amazon from a vendor-independent like SAC Magic.
Starting point is 00:42:38 Hello, here Camille, of SAC MAGIC. Our compresses of colds are fabricated, here-mere, with the tissue that we buy from New York and the avi our vassan that's our business on the whole entire. SACMagic, is the compress that all the most people prefer.
Starting point is 00:42:53 At from here, we're grandi. Trovee of little enterprises like our own. on Poissia. Pat and Stu for Glenn today, AAA 727, B-E-C-K. Fauci was before Congress yesterday, had some amazing things that he once again lied about. The New York Times wrote an interesting article
Starting point is 00:44:02 on five things that, I guess it's evidence of a lab leak. I can't believe they actually printed this article, honestly. The New York Times was adamant too. Yeah. That there was no lab leak. Head of the headline of the story, why the pandemic probably started in a lab in five key points. That's amazing.
Starting point is 00:44:24 Amazing. This is where we are. All right. We'll get to that in one minute. In some ways, it's kind of good, I guess, to see the left being honest, just admitting it. And Bill Maher admitted that killing a baby is murder. But he's okay with it. And I look, I don't think that's a good opinion to have, but it is at least honest.
Starting point is 00:44:44 And I'm glad they're finally saying it. But here we are again doing this all over. It's amazing. And we really need to stop this horrible process. How do we stop the madness? Well, you can help by donating to pre-born, but the largest pro-life organization in the country, and they're leading the charge to put an end to the atrocity of abortion.
Starting point is 00:45:03 Every day, they sponsor free ultrasounds for women, as well as providing help for up to two years after the baby is born. And that's so key. When a mother sees her unborn child on the monitor, she hears the heartbeat. She's twice as likely to consider choosing life for her baby. If you want to help heal our land and save precious
Starting point is 00:45:22 souls, please give generously to Preborn. I love Preborn. They're a great organization. $28.28 can be the difference between life and death. Starting point is 00:45:40 250. Use the keyword baby or visit preborn.com slash beck preborn.com slash beck. This is sponsored by preborn. If you live in Texas, is it time to start building that arc yet? Sheesh.
Starting point is 00:45:59 The rain is unbelievable here. My son's Little League season has been like four games long because everything's been rained out. Yeah. It's incredible. I mean, every day. And they don't, I mean,
Starting point is 00:46:10 this week was supposed to be pretty dry according to the forecast I saw the other day. Like on Saturday and Sunday, they were saying, yeah, looks pretty clear this week. It's rained like crazy. Yeah. Every day.
Starting point is 00:46:23 Every day. And it rained again today. I flew back into town yesterday. It was severe thunderstorm warnings. It just doesn't stop. Yeah. You know what it is? Global warming.
Starting point is 00:46:32 Global warming. Yeah. Global warming causes both the wetness and the dryness. Paradoxically. Remember who used to say that? Paradoxically. Yes. Yes, I do remember that.
Starting point is 00:46:44 And that's because of our Our FU. Voiv. Our FU. Voiv are causing that paradox. Really? Yeah. We just bought the biggest SUV basically on the market just to help.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Good. As you said, it's because of SUVs. Right. Trying to help the process along, both the heating and the cooling. Let's just get it over with. The rain and the dryness. Yeah. That's what I'm trying to get.
Starting point is 00:47:10 Heating, cooling, rain, dry. All of it. Global warming. All of its global warming. What are the convenient thing? I mean, an inconvenient truth. It's actually incredibly convenient. No matter what happens, global warming explains it.
Starting point is 00:47:25 Yeah. So it's like the most convenient thing in the world. All they've done is rename storms that happen in the winter. Like a Canadian coal front is now a polar vortex. Right. So that polar vortex is brought on. Yeah. And it sounds scary.
Starting point is 00:47:44 And that's from global warming. Climate change has caused the polar vortex. You got to trust the science, Pat. I get a sense that you're not trusting. What is the other thing, the rain rivers, rain bombs and rain rivers? Oh my gosh. I've never heard of a rain bomb until the last couple of years. It just feels like the weather channel is like, how do we spice this up?
Starting point is 00:48:05 Polar vortex. Rain bombs? Polar vortexes. Yes, vortices, I'm sorry. All right. So tell me about this New York Times article. Apparently, they've done it about face too now? Well, I wouldn't necessarily say that.
Starting point is 00:48:22 It is an opinion. It's a guest essay. But they did run it in the New York Times. And it's by Alina Chan. Now, if you don't know if she is, she was the co-author of a great book called Viral, The Search for the Origin of COVID-19. This is a book she co-wrote with Matt Ridley,
Starting point is 00:48:38 who you might know, he's been on the show before. But again, the fact that I just said he's been on the show before, and then his co-author is writing in the New York Times. She's a scientist. She is a molecular biologist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Okay, so this is not just some crazy person. Yeah. She's a co-author of viral, The Search for the Origin of COVID-19.
Starting point is 00:49:01 Again, if you care about this in molecular detail, you should totally read this book. I mean, it really goes through everything that we know. I mean, this is now, the book's a year and a half old or so, but it is very, really, really good. And Matt Ridley is one of the best science writers that, you know, that has ever been. I love Matt's stuff. Some of his books are just, I mean, all of his books are great. But this one was really, really at the step-by-step design of everything that we know about the origin of COVID-19. Now, we know more now than we did when this book came out. And the fact that this story has been run by the New York Times is shocking to me. Legitimately shocking. They gave her a
Starting point is 00:49:43 platform for this because this is not what you're supposed to believe if you are in the mainstream media. The story is called why the pandemic probably started in a lab in five key points. And we can break these down as much as you want. The first one is the SARS-like virus that caused the pandemic emerged in Wuhan, a city where the most of the world's foremost research lab for SARS-like viruses is located. Now, that is really basic information. you don't know that information at this point, that this lab was there, it would be stunning.
Starting point is 00:50:19 However, I will say, if you just read the New York Times, if you just read the Washington Post or watch CNN, are you even aware that this lab existed in the city? Yeah, you might not be. You might not be. Because you've been told it was brought on by bat soup or whatever. Right. The pangolin or the bat soup thing. because people were eating bats and pengolins in China. That was the big pitch.
Starting point is 00:50:47 That's what started it. A couple of things that are interesting in this breakdown. Of course, a team of scientists had been hunting for SARS-like viruses for over a decade, led by Dr. Shee. She is known as the Bat Lady. The research showed that viruses most similar to SARS, COVID-2, a virus that caused the pandemic, circulated bats that live roughly a thousand miles away from Wuhan. They even got like an animated map to show where these bats are from. and it would be shocking that they could somehow spill over that far away, a thousand miles away. But we know they were going to these caves and bringing them to Wuhan from these caves.
Starting point is 00:51:24 So like either they got really, really ambitious and decided to take a thousand mile flight or somebody brought them to Wuhan. Of course, this type of spillover is rare. They go through those details. But this is interesting, you know, some bit of piece of information that, people might not remember. When the COVID-19 outbreak was detected, Dr. She, the bat lady from China,
Starting point is 00:51:48 initially wondered if the novel coronavirus had come from her laboratory, saying that she had never expected such an outbreak to occur in Wuhan. So again, the actual doctor running this lab was worried about this happening and wondered if she caused it. That's kind of big information, right?
Starting point is 00:52:09 Yeah. That a lot of people don't know. Yep. And of course, the SARS-COVID-2 virus is exceptionally contagious, can jump from species to species like wildfire, yet it left no trace of infection at its source or anywhere along what would have been a thousand-mile journey before emerging in Wuhan. I mean, just that is so much evidence. That's only point number one. Point number two, the year before the outbreak, the Wuhan Institute, working with U.S. partners, had proposed creating viruses with some. Saar, COVID-2s, COVID-2s, you know, COVID-19, for lack of a, for keeping it a little bit more simple.
Starting point is 00:52:51 Their defining feature. So they took samples from BACTS and other animals, as well from sick people, living near animals, carrying these viruses, or associated with wildlife trade. Much of this work was conducted with the partnership with EcoHealth Alliance. Now, these are terms that you, listening to conservative radio, maybe taking in conservative media, have heard these names. So it has anyone who reads the New York Times heard anything about EcoHealth Alliance? Surely it's been mentioned in articles here and there. But like, basically they've been told this is a conspiracy theory. But this is much more detailed. The laboratory pursued risky research that resulted in viruses becoming more infectious.
Starting point is 00:53:32 Again, Anthony Fauci on the stand, denying over and over again that he did gain of function research, right? this is the type of research Rand Paul was talking about. And this is true. This did happen. By 2019, Dr. She's group had published a database describing more than 22,000 collective wildlife samples. But external access was shut off in the fall of 2019. Now, this is just as COVID-19 is happening in China. They just mysteriously turn off access to the database of 22,000.
Starting point is 00:54:08 related viruses. Why would they do that if this was just natural spillover? And the database was not shared with American collaborators even after the pandemic started. Why would they do that? Again, this is
Starting point is 00:54:27 circumstantial evidence, but there's no other explanation for what they're doing here. In 2021, the Intercept published a leaked 2018 grant proposal for a research project named Diffuse, which had been written as a collaboration between EcoHealth, the Wuhan Institute, and Ralph Barrack at the University of North Carolina, who had been the cutting edge of coronavirus research for years. The proposal described plans to create viruses strikingly similar to SARS COVID-2. This is 2018 grant called Diffuse what they asked for in this project.
Starting point is 00:55:08 was to search and create SARS-like viruses carrying spikes with a very unique feature, a furin cleavage site. Again, a term maybe you remember from previous discussions, but the people in the New York Times that read it have never heard this before. This fearing cleavage site was specific to this virus, and it was never funded by the United States government. This is just a proposal. So this is not saying that we funded that specific research.
Starting point is 00:55:40 It didn't go through. But they didn't need our money to do it. It wasn't like they were short on cash to do this. They obviously just wanted the extra money. While it's possible, the article says, the Fier and Cleavage site could have evolved naturally, as has seen in some distantly related coronaviruses, out of the hundreds of SARS-like viruses cataloged by science,
Starting point is 00:56:01 SARS-CoB2 is the only known one to possess a fearing cleavage. site in its spike. The only one. Kind of surprising that this would just happen. Goes through a bunch of details on this in the back and forth. You should totally read it. Point three, the Wuhan Lab pursued
Starting point is 00:56:20 this type of work under low biosafety conditions that could not have contained an airborne virus like COVID. They go through the differences between each level of biosafety and kind of walk. Again,
Starting point is 00:56:36 she's walking people through this that have never heard any of this information before. Yeah. Four, the hypothesis that COVID-19 came from an animal at the Hunan seafood market in Wuhan is not supported by strong evidence. And we know that. Yeah. We've talked about it many, many times.
Starting point is 00:56:56 And five, key evidence that would be expected if the virus had emerged from the wildlife trade is still missing. So, and they go through this like... Oh, you're treated like a felon. If you said this to the New York. Times or the New York Times heard that you said this. And they cheered on when, you know, efforts to silence people who were saying it back of the day.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Yep. So these are the types of evidence that you would normally have. And SARS and MERS are two good examples. The 2002 SARS and 2012 MERS viruses. Do you have infected animals that are found? Well, yes. With SARS, yes with MERS. Do you have the earliest known cases that were exposed to live animals.
Starting point is 00:57:38 So the first people that you found with it were they exposed to these particular animals. Yes, in the case of SARS, yes in the case of MERS. Hmm. Antibody evidence of animals and animal traitors having being infected. Okay. Yes in the case of SARS. Yes in the case of MERS. Ancestral variants of the virus found in animals.
Starting point is 00:57:58 Yes in the case of SARS. Yes in the case of MERS. Documented trade of host animals between the area where bats carry closely related viruses and the outbreak site. Yes, in the case of SARS, yes in the case of MERS. No, in the case of COVID-19 for every single one of those pieces of evidence. Every single one of them. They have not found any of this evidence in any of these categories for COVID-19.
Starting point is 00:58:25 Again, this is in the New York Times. This is not the Blaze. This is not Daily Wire. This is not even Fox News. This is the New York Times discussing what we have talked to. about for years and years, but they are finding out about today. And thank God they are. I'm glad they ran it. I don't want to be too critical here because I'm excited they actually did put this evidence out here. Alina Chan, again, has been on the top. It's looking at this since the very
Starting point is 00:58:53 beginning. And it's important that it's out there. It's fascinating because little by little, the truth has trickled out on this. Right. You were vilified for it four years ago. But ever since, then, and especially in the last six months or so, all this information is starting to come out now. They're starting to admit things like, okay, some people were harmed by the vaccine. Okay, it probably was a lab leak. Yeah, it wasn't spread by animals. I mean, oh yeah, the masks really were worthless. All right, yeah, the six-foot barrier thing, the six-foot distancing thing. That was just, we just picked that out of our butts. So, I mean, little by little, the truth is coming out.
Starting point is 00:59:46 More coming up in one minute. So you might have some awesome guns, maybe a whole arsenal of them, maybe you just love the Second Amendment, you know, maybe you got enough ammunition to hold off a small army. Should that ever be necessary? But unfortunately, that doesn't do, you know, a whole lot of good if you can't hit the broad side of a barn when you actually shoot. You need practice, but going to the range, using up ammunition is time-consumption.
Starting point is 01:00:10 and gets really, really expensive. So check out Mantis X. It's a high-tech, easy-to-use system. It's widely used by the military and helps you improve your shooting quickly. You attach it to your firearm and connect it with an app on your smartphone or your tablet via Bluetooth.

Get yours at mantisX.com. It's MantisX.com. 10 seconds, station ID. It's Pat and Stu for Glenn today. There was a big hearing yesterday, and at least somebody got fired up yesterday. It was MTV.
Starting point is 01:01:15 Marjorie Taylor Green, all fired up. over the Anthony Fauci BS. She's having a hard time taking it all. And then she shows up in the hallway and, well, we'll get to that in a second. But first, here she is wrapping up her 10-minute rant against Anthony Fauci yesterday. Children, children, all over America were forced to wear masks. Healthy children, forced to wear masks, muzzled in their schools. And then they were forced to learn from home.
Starting point is 01:01:48 because of your so-called science and your medical suggestions while you and all your cronies get paid from Big Pharma. You know what this committee should be doing? We should be recommending you to be prosecuted. We should be writing a criminal referral because you should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity. You belong in prison, Dr. Fauci. Say what you will about her, and she can go over the top.
Starting point is 01:02:18 from time to time. But I love that because, you know, I feel that indignation against Anthony Fauci. I mean, yes, he is responsible for much of what we went through in 2020, 2021, 22. And it lasted way too long because of their recommendations and their science that we were told we had to follow. And so, will anything come of that, though? No, I don't think so. what's your vibe on just the format of these hearings? Like I, like I, what I would like to get with Anthony Fauci sitting in front of you
Starting point is 01:02:55 or questions to Anthony Fauci that he's responding to and getting on record on something, right? Like I just not, and this is not specific to Marjorie Taylor Green, but there's just this idea that you just go up there and just rant at the person. What do I get out of that? I mean, I guess you get that, that's a nice clip.
Starting point is 01:03:09 Yeah. Like, that's a great clip from a talk show. Yes. Like, what is that, like, I don't,
Starting point is 01:03:15 you know, you know, showing it, She's showing a picture of kids and masks to Anthony Fauci. I heard, I didn't see it, but I heard she held up pictures of Beagles. Oh. Beagles, because I guess he did experiments on Beagles at one point. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:03:29 At the end of the day, I just don't know how effective it is. Yeah, I just feel like it winds up being effective for the politician and not necessarily. That is one of the things. And we've talked about that, I think, at the past, is that, you know, a lot of these people are really good at the hearings. And then that's it. That's definitely... That's definitely... Yeah, you know, there's a...
Starting point is 01:03:50 That's definitely a breed of a politician at this point. Yep. Who's very good at these... I mean, like Jim Jordan... Trey Gowdy was that way. You know, again, a lot of these people... And that's why he's better probably on Fox News on Sundays or whatever it is he's on.
Starting point is 01:04:02 Then he was in Congress, because he didn't really do anything about it, but he was great at these hearings. And sometimes you do need that, but I... What I want is, like, finally crafted questions that put the witness in a position where they have to answer something or give you some new piece of information. Of course, they never will, though. Sometimes you do.
Starting point is 01:04:21 It happens. It's not common, but it does happen. You have to be really, really good at it. You think Foucho would answer anything? I mean, I think you'd do everything to avoid it. He's a lying sack. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:32 All right. More coming up. Back. NMLS 1-82334 NMLS Consumer Access.org. APR for Rates in the 5 starts at 6.799% for well-qualified borrowers. Call 800906 2440 for details about credit costs and terms. Things could always be worse. and there's a pretty good chance that they will get there, as evidence has shown over time.
Starting point is 01:04:53 But sometimes they could also get better, of course, if you plan as well as possible. Imagine for a moment if you're not already there what it would be like to get yourself completely out of debt, for example. If you're a homeowner, chances are good that American financing knows how to get you to that place. You need to look at your spending, your finances, and your debt. And better yet, let American financing do that for you. They're helping people just like you all the time, get out from under the debt burden and start to realize significant savings. They never charge any upfront or hidden fees, and it's just one of the many reasons why they have over 7,200 Google reviews and a 4.7 star rating. So call American

Don't take my word for it. Do your own homework and give them a call 800-9062440 or Americanfinancing.com.com. Check out, show Packer and Leashed to every weekday right before this show live 7 to 9 Eastern or anytime, anywhere you get your podcast. Pat and Stu up for Glenn today, AAA 727 B-E-C-K. After the hearing, Marjorie Taylor Green was talking to a reporter in the hallway of Congress yesterday, and she got a little animated once again. Here's what happened in the hallway. No, absolutely not. I mean, everything I said is correct. how the American people feel. It's what we know to be a fact. It's all the evidence has been
Starting point is 01:06:48 proven true. We have Jamie Raskin in there accusing us of worshipping Trump. Worshipping as a convicted felon. Well, yeah, so is George Floyd. And everybody, and you all, too, the media worship George Floyd. Democrats worship George Floyd. There were riots burning down the country over George Floyd, and Raskin is in there saying, we worship him. Excuse me, Let me correct you, and this is really important. I don't worship. I worship God. God and Jesus is my Savior.
Starting point is 01:07:20 I don't worship President Trump. And I'm really sick and tired of the bull-hack-a-nix I have to deal with constantly from the Democrats. So that's what we just went through in there. And then they're sitting there. They can attack my character all day long. What's his face in there? Whoever was talking last was calling me insane.
Starting point is 01:07:37 But yet we can't say, oh, they're attacking my character. Oh, no, it's nonstop BS and annex. You want to know why the Democrats don't have anything. They're responsible for the lockdowns, forced vaccinations, kids being forced to stay home, people committing suicide, and all the horrors that this country lived through during COVID. Fauci belongs in prison. We should be tried for mass murder, and he should be tried for crimes against humidity. That's how I feel after that hearing. That's how the American people feel.
Starting point is 01:08:10 and I think stupid Gary you're you're behind everything she said there right everything every word of it lots of what she says I agree lots of what she said yes for sure I mean and I think this is a much more appropriate use of that right yeah I want her rant I like her ranting at a reporter who's asking her dumb questions I'm fine I like that I just not as big a fan of it in the actual hearing with Fauci sitting there yeah to me it's just because that's just so many limited times to get him in a position and Rand Paul's done a really good job with those moments. He's been able to pull stuff out of Fauci
Starting point is 01:08:45 and make him react to stuff that we didn't know. I mean, he got him on record. We were later able to look back at his statements that he made publicly and compare them to other things we uncovered and emails and everything else. I mean, that's part of the reason that we have a basis to go after Fauci for this stuff. So, and look, even Rand Paul, I'm sure,
Starting point is 01:09:05 has done plenty of ranting in these things. I'm not just, I'm not trying to single her out, any means for doing this. But that is totally fine use of ranting to me. Someone comes up to you and starts asking you dumb question. Well, you're a convicted felon. I've been seeing this constantly from the media since
Starting point is 01:09:21 this all happened on Thursday. It's just this beloved there's absolutely no evidence that Joe Biden has anything to do with this. Donald Trump once again without evidence claims that there is this conspiracy against him.
Starting point is 01:09:37 What do you mean without evidence? What do you mean without evidence. Half the cases being brought against him are coming through Merrick Garland. The guy, he works for Joe Biden. What do you mean? There's no evidence. Yes, this was a local case.
Starting point is 01:09:52 We also know that there were people who have gone from inside the Biden administration to suddenly work with Alvin Bragg. I mean, we now are seeing things in a somewhat unrelated matter with the Hunter Biden thing starting, where Joe Biden is going to
Starting point is 01:10:09 visit Hallie Biden a week before she's the main witness. That was just to talk about the anniversary of Bo's death. To be clear, that's not what they said. That's not what they said. And you're exaggerating what they said. And I'm going to call you out on it because what they actually said was it was an early remembrance of the ninth anniversary of Bo Biden died. It wasn't even the anniversary.
Starting point is 01:10:32 It was an early remembrance of an anniversary, not the 10th, but the 9th. Yeah. Because that's what you do with everyone who's having a ninth anniversary, just show up a month early and just want to celebrate it. I mean, it's so obvious what they're doing. But they would say there's no evidence Joe Biden is trying to manipulate the result for Hunter Biden. Well, we don't have Joe Biden recorded saying, I'm trying to manipulate the evidence.
Starting point is 01:11:04 We do have Hunter Biden in messages saying, his dad was involved in these deals, and they still say, there's no evidence he was involved. There's no level of evidence that would hit the standard they're looking for in this case. But with Trump,
Starting point is 01:11:23 they will jump to any conclusion from any inference. Look what they did with the Russia stuff. They went to any level. Russia collusion. For years and years and years and years. We heard that. Years and years and years.
Starting point is 01:11:37 And then, oh, no, no. Okay. Well, let's move on to something else. Right. And it's like 30, like the idea that he's a convicted felon, I think for anyone who followed the process that led to that conviction, anyone would say that this is completely ridiculous. Now, if you, I, my suspicion is most of the jurors who convicted Donald Trump were people who hated Donald Trump. I mean, that's my, you know, my belief, obviously it was 90, something close to 90, or it was well over 80% of the vote in this area went against Donald Trump. that doesn't necessarily mean you can never get a verdict out of an area like that. I mean, it's just hard to.
Starting point is 01:12:14 But in this particular case, when you're told either stop Adolf Hitler or, you know, a fascist dictatorship's about to start, well, a lot of people would take that seriously. And I think just say, hey, you know, we're going to convict him no matter what. But also just the rules of the game. You know, it's like, it's completely ridiculous. You think about the situation that they put these jurors in, and we're, you know, I'm going a little bit off topic here. I know we're talking Fauci, but it's like, this is the case with the media all the time. They act as if there's no evidence.
Starting point is 01:12:50 And then when they're given the evidence, they just dismiss it until later on a piece comes out in the New York Times entitled, why the pandemic probably started in a lab in five key points. Yep. That's after years of supporting. efforts to remove people from social media for saying it. Yeah. And we're just all supposed to kind of be like, oh, well, I don't, I guess I'm not supposed to remember that that happened.
Starting point is 01:13:21 It's a, it's a fascinating thing that they even attempted. Sure is. The balls. You got to have to try this stuff in public. It's amazing. They no longer care. And Pat, let me take you back to an old, an old-timey moment. I was thinking about this the other day.
Starting point is 01:13:37 In 2004 election. And John Kerry, he has a big problem in his campaign. He's been caught. And he comes out and he says, I actually did vote for the $86 billion. Before I voted against it. Remember that? I do. It was a massive controversy.
Starting point is 01:13:57 Maybe cost him the election. Yeah. They do stuff like that every day. And it doesn't matter. Every day. Joe Biden is currently trying to convince us. he's tough on the border. How could anyone think that would work?
Starting point is 01:14:15 Well, he's signing an executive order today to shut down the border. He's been the exact opposite person for decades of public life and then we're supposed to believe five months before the election. He's a border hawk. Well, yeah, because he just couldn't get the Republican Congress to act on this. That's what they've wanted. The Democrats have been waiting. this entire time to get Republicans to care about the border.
Starting point is 01:14:43 Begging Republicans to lift a pen or something to quell the overflow at the border. Please give us some help here in Texas and Arizona, New Mexico and California, please. So finally, finally, he's taking action this very afternoon, 2 o'clock Eastern. He's going to sign an executive order that will ban my guess. who crossed the southern border illegally from claiming asylum, if the daily count is, I think they've lowered it to 2,500? Which is lower than the bill, wasn't it? I think it's a little bit lower than the bill was.
Starting point is 01:15:25 A little bit lower than the bill. I think it's like 2,500 people per day. So when it averages 2,500 people per day, you can shut off the asylum claims. Wow. Still a lot of people, we should point out. Yeah, it is. What should you say?
Starting point is 01:15:42 $2,500 per day. So that's... So 365 times $2,500 gives you about a million. It's $912,500. So about a million people... I mean, that's an incredibly high number of boys and girls. Of illegals. You know, I think the legal number of immigrants a year is around a million, right?
Starting point is 01:16:04 Don't we allow... I think we allow a million legal immigrants to come into the country every year. I mean, that's a lot. Name the other nation that does that. No, you can't because there aren't any. But we do. We allow one million legal entries into this country.
Starting point is 01:16:23 And then we know about 912,000 more. And it's been a lot more than that in the last few years. This is why. And people are, you know, tired of it now. And even Democrats are tired of it now because of the genius that is the, plan to send illegals to cities in the northwest and the Midwest, the Northeast and the Midwest. And it's had such a huge impact in those cities. Outsized impact, really.
Starting point is 01:16:53 Oh, my gosh. Now, of course, we should point out that only about 10 to 20 percent of the people that they're complaining about actually came from the programs like Greg Abbott shipping these people up in buses. But it made a huge impression on them. Yeah, yeah. A lot of this, though, came from the Biden administration who was shipping people up there on their own. Very true.
Starting point is 01:17:13 That's very. And that goes without notice sometimes. Yeah. They've been shipping people all over the country for years. That 2,500, by the way, is about half of what's going on right now. So they were already way over that. Yeah, because it was over $5,000 a day for a while. Yeah, it still is over about $5,000 a day.
Starting point is 01:17:34 But that's down from the peaks. That's about half of the peaks. So as we're talking, Jesus my gosh. We were talking about... It's incredible. 10,000 a day. Almost 300,000 a month for a while.
Starting point is 01:17:45 Now we're down to, I think, 130,000 a month, which is still not good, but it is down a little bit. But still well above this limit. So this will give Biden the opportunity to say he's tough on the border. Republicans didn't do anything
Starting point is 01:17:58 and we want them doing it. Even though Republicans did do stuff, they passed bills that were much tougher and would do much better job than what Biden is going to do. But they're going to ignore that. and say, well, they didn't pass the one thing we wanted them to pass, which of course was built and stacked with all sorts of stuff
Starting point is 01:18:14 that would have hurt the border effort. But like a larger point here is that they act as if no one has paid attention to this. It's like, here's a good example of this. I've watched a couple of WNBA games this year. Now, if I were to come out and try to convince you, I was an WNBA expert, you would, correctly note that I have not watched one WNBA game in 15 years, but because I kind of like the Caitlin Clark thing,
Starting point is 01:18:47 I've been watching a couple of her games here and there, bits and pieces of them. Am I a WMBA expert? No. Should you believe? I'm a WNBA expert? No. I don't know anything about the ins and outs of these players. I don't know any of the other players in the league. All I know is everyone on Caitlin Clark's team looks like they suck. That's the only thing I can tell you about watching a couple of her games. She's good. Everyone else on her team seems like they suck.
Starting point is 01:19:13 I don't know if that's accurate. I don't know. I'm not an expert. But I was trying to convince you I was an expert. You should correctly not believe anything else I say. Because I'd obviously be lying to you. And that's the situation we're in now with Joe Biden. He's trying to convince you he's a border hawk.
Starting point is 01:19:29 That is absurd. Completely crazy. It's like it's so beyond the realm of reality. How could anybody believe it in deeper than that? How could anyone expect it would work? And yet they do. That's how dumb they think their voters are. And in some cases they're right. They're right so often. Triple 8-727. Beck. More coming up. Call in and let it out. 727 B-E-C-K. This is the Glenn Beck program. Weather's warming up and I can't wait to get to the ranch this summer, to paint, to roam,
Starting point is 01:20:25 cool summer nights with my family, being out by the campfire. I remember when I couldn't do a lot of these things because the altitude created a constant unbearable pain for me. My wife, Tanya, insisted that I tried Relief Factor. I didn't think it would work for me. It's a 100% drug-free daily supplement. It's supposed to help your body fight pain naturally. I mean, I went to the best doctors in the world and they couldn't help me.
Starting point is 01:20:49 I didn't think this would work. Relief Factory uses a unique formula of natural ingredients. It doesn't just mask the pain. It reduces or even eliminates it by reducing the inflammation in your body. Wherever you're hurting, back, neck, joint, muscles. In three weeks or less, you will start to feel the difference all day, every day. I've been taking Relief Factor for years now, and it has truly changed my life. Relief.
Starting point is 01:21:12 The number 4 relief. 800, the number 4 relief. Save on your first order. 800 the number four relief relief factor.com. It's Pat and Stu for Glenn today. Inflation since Biden took office is the highest since Jimmy Carter. Consumer price index change from inauguration month all the way to the 40th month, which is where we are now with Biden, of each president's first term in the last like 60 years,
Starting point is 01:21:50 ish, 50 years, I guess it's bad. Jimmy Carter, of course, highest, because keep in mind, we counted everything back in the Carter days. And that's why he got credit for 37.8% inflation in his first 40 months. 37.8% inflation. That's pretty high. Yeah, that's somewhat high. Some would say, not necessarily a really good job. Joe Biden is number two.
Starting point is 01:22:22 at 19.3. And that's not counting everything. That's when they throw out, yeah, we're not going to count groceries. We're not going to count clothing. You know, they do those kinds of things. If it was counted the way Jimmy Carter's inflation was counted, it'd be much higher. I would, I don't know if it'd be double, but it'd be a lot higher than it is now. So 19.3%. Reagan, who was suffering through a lot of Jimmy Carter's mess, his was 18.5%. at first. H.W. Bush, 15%. And goes all the way down to
Starting point is 01:22:59 who do you think had the lowest 40-month total of inflation on the consumer price index? Calvin Coolidge. Well, we'd have to go back. Every answer is Calvin Coolidge. But not in this particular case.
Starting point is 01:23:15 Because he was dead at the time. So being dead kind of eliminates him from this discussion. Donald J. Trump. Hmm, 5.1%. Interesting. 5.1. That's a 40-month aggregate.
Starting point is 01:23:29 Not bad. The Glenn Beck Program. When you were little, you have braced some of course of recreat, always in trying to negotiate, exchanging these cards of hockey, these bonhom, these bracelets,
Starting point is 01:23:45 even some of the collation. You know that each thing has a value, well, to have been to have been the things have not really changed.
Starting point is 01:23:53 Nogate-tit-tit-tid you can't renew with your instinct of negotiation. with without operation gratisite, no amount on minimum and no free mensual.
Starting point is 01:24:02 You're made for negotiate. And the app Negotiate T-D is made for you aid. Telecharge it
Starting point is 01:24:07 right now. We're just telling you about the inflation, the consumer price index and the inflation inauguration month to the
Starting point is 01:25:17 40th month of the presidency, which is where we are today and how incredible that is that Joe Biden has increased
Starting point is 01:25:27 inflation by 19, 0.3% since he took office. Only Jimmy Carter, a 37.8% did worse in his first 40 months. Yeah, I will say that that's pretty good for Biden. Normally he's the worst.
Starting point is 01:25:42 And the fact that he's only second worst in this one thing is really good for him. They should be putting this in his campaign ads. Only second worst in this one category. I wouldn't be surprised, frankly. I mean, they make hay out of the worst possible statistics that they can.
Starting point is 01:26:03 But Stu's got, Stu found some other economic indicators that are a little bit, well, I think you're going to be really excited to hear them, frankly. We'll get to that in one minute. Since the terror attacks on October 7th, anti-Semitism has been on the rise, not just in Israel, but here at home in the U.S. and around the world, that's why we partner with the International Fellowship of,
Starting point is 01:26:26 Christians and Jews. And today, you know, we're asking you to stand with both, you know, ours and the stances that, you know, myself and Glenn and Pat have all taken on this issue, but also IFCJ to raise your voice, just as Oscar Schindler and Corey Tenboom did. The pledge is asking Christians to stand with their Jewish brothers and sisters to never be silent, to show the Jewish people that they are not alone. They have God and Christians on their side. For the month of June, we're asking Christians to Sign the pledge, and this will be delivered to the president of Israel to show that Christians in America are not only standing in solidarity, but they are speaking up as well. Take a stand with the international fellowship of Christians and Jews to let Jewish people know that they are not alone.
Starting point is 01:27:13 Sign the pledge. Go to supportIFcj.org. Support IFC.org. Take a stand today. Support IFCJ.org. Interesting story I just read from CMBC that bad echo. news has been good for stocks, but that could change this week, they say. I mean, that doesn't make any sense. Either why it has been or why is that about to change then. We'll get into that in a sec, but you also found some interesting statistics that are maybe not the greatest news for the Biden administration. I mean, some prices are a little bit higher than they were when he took over. I would argue these are two jaw-dropping measures of our economy that maybe you haven't heard before.
Starting point is 01:28:09 Okay. Okay. Let me start first with orange juice. Orange juice. Yes. All right. Do you like a little OJ? I do in the morning.
Starting point is 01:28:17 I love me some orange juice. It's a delicious way to start your day. I eat at least one orange a day. You do? Yeah. Every day. You are weirdly healthy now, though. That's annoying.
Starting point is 01:28:27 Yeah. It's kind of weird. You eat like you're supposed to eat. Yeah. Fruits and vegetables and such. Things that... Less vegetables and fruit, but a lot of fruit and less, much less processed sugar. You, before you had an issue with the diabetes.
Starting point is 01:28:46 Yes. As Wilford Brimley might put it. Yes. And before that issue, you ate mainly all sugar and butter. Yes. That's pretty much all you did. Yeah. And sometimes on the sugar, I would butter it and then I'd eat it.
Starting point is 01:29:01 You butter the sugar. Butter the sugar and then eat them both together. Or just take a big scoop full of butter and then dip it in a sugar. Like just this whole spoon goes into sugar container. Yeah. It all kind of crystallizes, gets on top, and then you just eat it by the spoonful. Exactly. Sometimes I'd caramelize it, you know, with the little...
Starting point is 01:29:17 Right. I remember that, yeah. A little flame thing to... And doctors recommended to stop. They did recommend that I stop that. Immediately. And so I just... did. You did. It was either that
Starting point is 01:29:29 or die. And I thought hmm, I think I'll stop then. Do you still, now that you have to eat like healthy, do you feel like you're dead? Does it feel basically like death? Now you've actually come up with a way of eating healthy and that you actually
Starting point is 01:29:45 like. Yeah. Which is impressive. Yeah. Does that include OJ? Do you have a glass? It does. Well, not as much orange juice as actual oranges because the orange juice is higher in carbs. Okay. So I I'm kind of on a low-carb diet. Okay.
Starting point is 01:29:59 I'm on a low-carb diet. Okay. And so it's easier to just have the orange than the orange juice, but it's probably less expensive, too, from what you're about to tell me? So frozen concentrated orange juice futures. Okay. You want to talk about a, and I feel bad. Sometimes you just feel like you're just doing sexy topics just to get views and listens.
Starting point is 01:30:22 You know what I mean? Clicks. Yeah. I was like, hey, today on the show, we're going to discuss frozen concentration. traded orange juice futures. People are just like, oh, come on. You're just playing to the audience now. You just, you know, that's just populism. That's all that is. Guilty is charged here. I have to say, you know, but on January 1st, 2020, and I want to make sure I'm saying this date is clear here. I am not saying March 18th, 2020, because you look at some economic measures, you can
Starting point is 01:30:51 this is what Biden does with employment numbers. Oh, man. He measures from the bottom of COVID to make it look like he's done a good job, which he is not. Yeah. But that's what they do. I've added 11 million jobs. Well, okay, you were, first of all, cheered on and then we're completely responsible for shutting down businesses across the country. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:31:13 Maybe you can't take credit when you let them open up again and people got back to work. But that's a whole other story. I bring that up just to point out this measures from January 1st, 2020. So before COVID-19 started, certainly here in America, at that time, January 1st, 2020, it was 95 cents a pound for again frozen concentrated orange juice futures. Okay. The price today. From 95 cents a pound. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:48 To $4.87 a pound. Oh my gosh. We are at five times the price. Wow. for frozen concentrated orange juice futures. Now, wow. You, of course, have probably noticed when you're shopping that orange juice looks more expensive. That's how much more expensive the orange juice is.
Starting point is 01:32:11 And that's a staple of an American breakfast, right? Like, it is, again, another piece of American culture, a foundation, right? of the quote-unquote most important meal of the day, that is now five times what it was in January of 2020. But that's not all. That's not all, Pat. In fact, this one, I think, because, you know, I guess you could make the art,
Starting point is 01:32:38 and you can have some, I don't know, sunny delight. You can go to Sunny D, water. You can go to water. You can do what I do and just drink concentrated aspartame. Whatever you want. You can change up your drink. This one's a little more difficult to avoid. We know the mortgage prices have gone up for people because the rates have gone up.
Starting point is 01:33:00 The mortgage rates have gone up. It's increasing house cost for every individual that wants to buy a home. But I don't think I've ever seen it like this. This again is from the New York Times. I'm trying to do my best to not pull from some conservative person who's going to say, oh, well, you know, of course Biden's bad. I want people who think Biden is wonderful to tell me this stuff, to make sure you know it's completely checked.
Starting point is 01:33:27 Here we go. Economists put it to me like this, is the author. If you were to sell your house today and buy an identical one across the street, your-so, same neighborhood. Same house. Basically, think of the house across the street that's very similar to yours. If you were to sell your house today and buy an identical one across the street, your payment would double.
Starting point is 01:33:54 Wow. Now, this is in, you know, if you have an interest rate that you maybe had a few years ago. Now, this does not factor in how much the house across the street has increased in value. So that's just assuming. Much more than double. Yeah, of course. This is just assuming that the price is the exact same as your house, right? Like the same price you guys pay for it the same few years apart.
Starting point is 01:34:15 That would not happen, of course. The prices have gone up largely because of it. They've gone up a lot. But other reasons as well. But you're talking about a situation where getting the same thing costs you double. And none of that is reflected in your inflation numbers. Inflation numbers do not measure and never have, but don't measure, they don't really go into the mortgage rate costs. So when your interest rates go up, that's not the type of thing.
Starting point is 01:34:47 It will measure the change of housing. cost, right? So if you're buying something for 200,000 and it's 300,000, it will notice that difference. But what it doesn't notice is the fact that you paid 3% when you bought the house last time and you're paying 7 or 8 now. And this is why, and I know we were talking about this off the air a little bit, people who are reconsidering homeownership looking to maybe sell their house, maybe move into either a rental or go buy another house. It's a tough decision for them because what you buy for the same amount of money. money kind of sucks.
Starting point is 01:35:23 Like you go and you look at, okay, I'm trading out this house for a new one. Well, let's just say I want to make the same payment or ideally less. What are you getting for that? You're getting a third of the house or a quarter of the house or at the very best, maybe a half of the amount of house. And a lot of people don't want to do that. I have a friend who had a 3% mortgage on their house, which a lot of people did, obviously from back in the day.
Starting point is 01:35:48 and we're trying to consider whether they should buy, they should sell their home. And when they decided to do it, they were making a big profit on the sale because the price, the house of the, uh, price of the house had gone up.
Starting point is 01:36:00 But they couldn't really do anything with that money because they needed to move somewhere else and then wound up taking this, uh, profit that they got and dumping it into, uh, new mortgage payments where they're, most it was going to interest. Like,
Starting point is 01:36:15 how does that benefit you? You're getting a worse house and more of, your money's going to interest. However, if you don't reinvest it in a house, then the federal government's going to come and take like half of it from you. Yeah. Yeah. It's a no-win proposition right now. And that's one of the reasons why housing costs are going up so much because people are facing that decision and deciding, you know what, I'm just going to stay. And the article is actually about starter homes. And it's a pretty interesting read. Again, in the New York Times, talking about how These young people growing up, they get their first house, a starter home.
Starting point is 01:36:54 And the way that's supposed to work is what, Pat? Like you buy your starter home, your family grows, your income grows, you buy a home that's a little bit bigger. Now you've got three kids instead of one. And you buy a home that's a little bit bigger. You need extra bedrooms, blah, blah, blah. This is life. This has been American life forever. Well, right now, people aren't leaving those starter homes because they can't move up because of what has happened under Joe Biden.
Starting point is 01:37:17 Yeah. And so there's no big supply of homes for them to go to. So they wind up staying in the small house, jamming extra kids into bedrooms and sharing bedrooms and doing all these things. And they're not moving up the ladder anymore. This is real. I was also reading that older Americans are staying in their home because they bought their home at a much lower interest rate. It's worth a lot more now and they could sell it for more. but they'd have to turn around and buy something that's much more expensive at a higher interest rate.
Starting point is 01:37:50 And so they're keeping their homes too. Yeah. So it's, you know, that's another reason. Both ends of the spectrum are making it difficult because of the inventory. So, yeah, the housing price has nowhere to go but up. Yeah. I mean, like, there's a bunch of different, you know, sites you can go to. But, like, you know, Titan is one that I know of that does, they search for your best,
Starting point is 01:38:14 interest rates that you can just make on cash. So if you get cash sitting in your bank account, they've maximized the amount you can make on it. Right now it looks like their smart cash is 5.29%. So cash you're keeping in your bank account, 5.29%. If you got 3% mortgage, what's the incentive to pay that off?
Starting point is 01:38:36 You want to stay with that forever, depending on your situation. There's obviously some exceptions to that. But like, it's an asset to protect. Because you can have money just sitting in there and you're earning more money from it just sitting in a bank account than you are by paying off your mortgage early. I mean, that's very rare in history that that's a thing. Now, that's not been common. For sure.
Starting point is 01:38:58 And, you know, this is, we could say this over and over. It's just like $5 orange juice concentrated futures. You don't see that very often. It's not supposed to be this way. And that really should be the thing, the prison that we're looking at this entire election through. not supposed to be like this. Yeah, because what do they tell us all through the 90s? It's the economy, stupid.
Starting point is 01:39:20 It's the economy. Why aren't they saying that now? Because they got nothing on the... Democrats can't say that. And so they don't want it mentioned. They can't argue the economy right now because the economy is not good. As much as they try to tell us it is, I mean, you look at the statistics and you see otherwise. More coming up in one minute.

A Trump appointed federal judge, Patrick Bumatai, just dissented in a in a court case and issued a warning to Americans because it's
Starting point is 01:41:18 so outrageous what's going on in Oregon right now. He wrote in his dissenting opinion, I do not say this lightly. The injunction the majority affirms here is both reckless and extreme. It orders the state of Oregon to release from jail all criminal defendants who've left their phone on.
Starting point is 01:41:40 Yes, Pat has left his phone on. All criminal defendants left their phone on. In Oregon. In Oregon. And Texas. Wow, wow. You're in serious trouble. I'm in real trouble right now. It orders the state of Oregon to release from jail all criminal defendants not appointed state-funded council within seven days of their initial appearance.
Starting point is 01:42:01 Given the complexities of the situation and the shortage of public defense counsel, the result of this order is that more than a hundred criminal defendants will be immediately released from jail. Those being released are not sitting there for some petty offense. Just look at the charges of the named petitioners here. They're accused of rape, kidnapping, strangulation, assaulting a police officer, public indecency and burglary. All will now be released into Oregon's communities. And of course, all stay right there. So nobody else has to worry about this.
Starting point is 01:42:33 Oh, that's good. This is Oregon's problem. That's good. Don't worry about it. But this is not the end of it. Countless others will be released on an ongoing basis because the injunction applies prospectively. To avoid the inevitable chaos, our court wisely paused the district court's extraordinary
Starting point is 01:42:51 order pending appeal. But that wisdom has run out. The majority now endorses the release scheme, lifts the stay of the injunction, and lets it take immediate effect. By doing so, the Ninth Circuit is now complicit in a judicial jailbreak. I fear the coming disorder. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:13 Really? I worry about it. I worry about that. I'm sure they're all wonderful people. So they've committed. Rape, strangulation. Yeah. Assaults.
Starting point is 01:43:23 But let them out. Just let them go. I'm sure they'll be fine now. I'm sure they're all rehabilitated and they're just going to be good, decent, all-American citizens in Oregon. That'll be great. It's so funny. They let everyone out of prison, but then at the same time cheer on when a guy gets convicted of 34 felonies because he made one payment. Right.
Starting point is 01:43:48 Right. And entered it wrong on a piece of paper? Questionably. I would even say questionably. I mean, we don't even know that for sure. I mean, what did he, he, again, he didn't write anything down. This is another point, right? He didn't write anything down.
Starting point is 01:44:04 He doesn't keep his own books? No, he does not. Someone else had a drop-down, there's a drop-down menu in this program, right? Like, if you're doing a tax program, there's a drop-down menu in the program, one of the options was accounting services or, excuse me, attorney fees or attorney services. And that's the one they used. And they said, well, that's not really. what it was. It was actually hush money to
Starting point is 01:44:25 Porn Star and that's not in the drop-down menu. There's no hush money to Porn Star in the drop-down menu. Now, maybe if there were, you could be a little more upset about such things. But no, this just said you know, attorney fees or attorney retainer.
Starting point is 01:44:41 And that it was a payment to his attorney. I mean, again, like, I don't even know. It doesn't seem to me like they made the case that it even went to her because didn't she, she signed a thing that it never happened years ago, right? Didn't she said it did not happen?
Starting point is 01:45:00 Right. She didn't say the payment didn't happen. If the affair didn't happen, why would the payment happen? Well, of course, you know, there's argument to say that maybe the affair didn't happen, right? Like I guess like the argument is that she wasn't telling the truth in 2018. Right. And it is now. But again, you still have to believe that she did say that publicly multiple times that it didn't happen.
Starting point is 01:45:20 She also said the opposite multiple times that it did. happened. So I don't know, you know, again. But that's not even important. It was a bookkeeping case. And it had nothing to do with whether they had sex or not. Yet, of course, that was all allowed into the trial. All the details about how she, the room started spinning. As you may have noted by today's program, we have a lot of work to do in this country. It seems like the uphill battle is always uphill. And especially when it comes to fighting against the left's constant efforts to destroy, America from within. But hope persists, for the time being, at least. Yeah, and it's been, people are, you know, looking at how this will be affected. And to give you kind of a prelude to this, Pat, leading into this, there was a poll by Sienna College, I think it was, that said, asked an interesting question.
Starting point is 01:47:54 First, they asked who you supported for president, okay? Yeah. And obviously there was a split between Trump and Biden. The people who said Trump, though, they took those people out and isolated them and said, okay, you voted for, you already said you're a Trump supporter. now would you change your mind and vote for Joe Biden if Donald Trump were convicted of a felony? Okay. And this is an interesting question because I think if you just ask that generally, you might get some Democrats who say they're Republicans who are going to change their votes. You might get some, you know, independents who are like, well, really on the fence or not really committed.
Starting point is 01:48:36 you might even get some Trump voters who are like, ah, I'm going to vote for, I don't know, RFK Jr. or another third party candidate, right? This is very specific. These are people who, before they knew where they were being asked this, they were asked who they were supporting, and they said Donald Trump,
Starting point is 01:48:53 they volunteered Donald Trump. And then we're asked, would you switch from Donald Trump to Joe Biden? So think about who that person is. I mean, I can't think of anybody. that I know off the top of my head, that would be like, you know what, I'm about to vote for Donald Trump, but, you know, I'm going to vote for Joe Biden instead. Like, there's very little crossover there. Now, there is crossover with RFK or other third party candidates.
Starting point is 01:49:19 Like, I do know people who are like, well, I really am struggling with Donald Trump for this reason or another. Or I really like RFK, but I'm considering Trump. Like, I know those people. I don't know anyone who's like, you know, right now I'll tell you Donald Trump, but I may change my mind to Joe Biden. I don't know anyone. Do you know one single person who's considering that? Nope. Or the other way around.
Starting point is 01:49:43 Like if you're like, I'm going to vote for Joe Biden. But you know, I might just consider Trump. I don't even know those people anymore. Most of those people, I think, have already moved. Yeah. Right? Like, I think there was a lot of those people that exist, but like most of those people have already made that decision after watching the last four years.
Starting point is 01:49:57 So thinking about this, the percentage of Trump supporters who said before the conviction, they would switch to Joe Biden if he was convicted of a felony was 7% 7% of Trump voters said they would do that. Now that's high to me. I was surprised it was that high. Yeah. But if you think about what does that mean overall, you're talking about
Starting point is 01:50:19 probably like 3% of overall voters would fall in that category. So the question is if those people are to be believed, which I'm a big skeptic on, like I don't believe people who make that determination. I mean, a large
Starting point is 01:50:35 chunk of this you have to think of is people projecting how they may feel five months from now five months away from this verdict you know a lot's going to happen a lot is going to happen in the next 20 plus weeks of watching this election
Starting point is 01:50:55 on a day to day basis but if you take them out their word apparently going to have at least two debates right which could make a difference in some people's minds one of which by the way is three weeks away Yeah. Yeah. And now, will Joe Biden drop out of that because he won't debate a felon? I wouldn't be surprised at all. Because he just uses that as an excuse. Yep. I won't. How I can't.
Starting point is 01:51:19 I will not debate a felon, a convicted felon. I will not get on the same stage with him. I could see that happening. Absolutely, just to get out of this thing. Now, will he set at the same Thanksgiving dinner table as his son, who will probably also be a convicted felon by that? that's not a problem. No, that's fine. That's fine. But we will do know that the justice system will let us down again then. It's impossible to question this now, but by the time that happens,
Starting point is 01:51:48 it will be totally questionable once more, so get ready for that. And the next Supreme Court ruling, they don't like. That will be a judicial system that just sucks. Yes, yes. And you should question, and it's illegitimate. Uh-huh. So
Starting point is 01:52:03 it's incredible. So there's been, I think, five polls that have come out that have had some measure as to what happened since this conviction happened. And I'm doing this by memory, but it was five polls. It was two polls showed a move to Joe Biden by two percent, two percentage points. Two polls showed no change at all. And one poll showed a one point movement to Donald Trump. Wow. So basically, I mean, if you summarize these five polls, which, you would find is basically nothing. Basically no movement at all.
Starting point is 01:52:41 Pretty much everyone stayed in their lanes. Now, you would, if you average all that out, you'd wind up with a, you know, a quarter of a point or three quarters of a point toward Biden and movement, which is somewhat similar. You know, it's a fraction of that 7% of Trump voters switching. Maybe there have been a few, you know, I mean, I'm not saying that there hasn't been any. I just, I'm surprised. and I don't know the profile of that person, but it wouldn't be surprising if a few people changed on that,
Starting point is 01:53:11 especially in the direct aftermath. I'm much more skeptical of it holding up over months. I mean, if you think about all the things we're going to be dealing with over the next five months of election coverage, the idea that something that happened in late May is going to be the determinative factor for the 2024 election, is really surprising.
Starting point is 01:53:30 If that's what happens, I'll be shocked. Yeah, me too. And it'll be tough to detect, but I'll be shocked. Gas prices will be a more compelling issue than the trial by that. Yeah. And the Saudis just raised the prices again. So our gas prices are probably going to go up again. And man, just last week, the time before last, it's weird because I paid $9250 to fill up my gas tank.
Starting point is 01:54:01 90, on a four-door sedan. 92-50. I mean, that's... Wow. And that's here. Here. In Texas, which is where the prices are relatively low. Right. Yeah, it's not California where there, what, $5, $6 a gallon.
Starting point is 01:54:15 I was in California a month ago. And, you know, in a new... What were they then? Back to the airport. And I saw one over $7 a gallon. Oh, my gosh. $7 a gallon. And I was too slow with my fat fingers to take a picture out of my phone.
Starting point is 01:54:30 But I did see it. And there were some that were in the sixes as well. Some of them were a little bit lower. But it was Los Angeles. So not the cheapest area, I would assume, of California. But still, I mean, how do you live there? Between the housing prices and the gas prices? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:54:47 How do you live there? The gas prices in New York City are really high. But also, you don't usually buy gas in Manhattan. Like, most people don't have cars. The cabs that are fueling up are not fueling up in midtown Manhattan. and like Los Angeles, the entire color, everywhere you go is a car. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:55:08 You know, we were just going from, I think we were staying in West Hollywood, going downtown to go to a show. We were out there for the comedy show. And it was 45 minutes. We're in, it was like Los Angeles to Los Angeles. 45 minutes to an hour. With traffic, it was over an hour, actually.
Starting point is 01:55:28 It was 45 minutes, like just a normal drive, like barely, basically. without traffic. It's not far. It just takes you forever. You're on surface streets. You're driving everywhere and you're not necessarily on highways most of the time. It was really bad.
Starting point is 01:55:44 But I can't even really bad. How Gavin Newsom could get one single vote? I would think when he ran for re-election he would be shut out. He would get zero percent. They'd be like Gavin, didn't you even vote for yourself? He's like, I couldn't bring myself to do it.
Starting point is 01:56:00 Like that's what that how that election should have gone. a piss poor job that I couldn't even vote for me. I couldn't. And you guys don't even know that half of it. I've been there for all the stuff. Like, I know how bad it is. I'm the least likely guy to vote for me. I'm most aware of the crap I've done. I remember what a hypocrite I am. Yeah. I told everybody else they couldn't go out and then I went out. And you guys just saw me that one time at the French laundry. I was out like every night that week. On like April 18th, 2020, I was out at a three-course meal.
Starting point is 01:56:30 You know he was. care at all. He doesn't care at all. He's absolutely terrible. But, I mean, are you surprised by, I mean, I'm not surprised. I just feel like people are entrenched. I don't think you're going to see much movement from this type of stuff. Now, look, if it winds up turning out that it's a three quarters of a point in the national vote actually moves because of this and we'll never know for sure. But if that does occur, it could be the difference in the election. I mean, I don't know if you've gone through the process yet, Pat, of like building maps and like looking at electoral vote. I have not. Like, you know, nerds do. But if you kind of look at like the states, the way we expect this to go out and leave the most obvious six swing states, right? You have a, before we fill in any of the swing states,
Starting point is 01:57:17 you've got Trump at 235, Biden 226. Okay? If you want to give Georgia to Trump, that brings you to 251, all right. You want to go Nevada to Trump. He's pulled very, well there. That gets you to 257.
Starting point is 01:57:34 Okay. We're getting close. You're going to give Arizona. You need 270, right? Yeah. We're going to give Arizona to Trump that gets you to 268. Ooh. We're too away? Right. The problem here is, if you still need to win either Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania's looking pretty good, isn't it?
Starting point is 01:57:51 The polling is very, very close in all three of those states. Yeah. Basically toss up territory. So you put all three of those in Biden's category. He wins 270 to 268. Now that there's a couple districts that you're assuming there in Nebraska. Oh my gosh. Now if it's 270 to 68 the other way, I assure you they will tell you it's stolen. Yeah, they will.
Starting point is 01:58:14 They will tell you it's stolen and you will say, wait a minute, weren't you saying for the past four years about elections? Denial. Yeah, what about that? And they will act like they never said it. They will. That is how that will occur. You can write it down right now. That is what they will do.
Starting point is 01:58:32 Just like they will do, if Hunter Biden gets convicted to multiple years in prison, they will tell you it was unfair. It was a Republican operated effort to target the president's son. Of course, I don't think he's going to be convicted, but if he is, that is what they will tell you. Yep. So right now, if you look at these polls, Pat, and you kind of, to just glance around, the three states we just gave to, you know, Trump look pretty good for him. He's up four points in Arizona. And again, four point lead in Arizona does not, in five months out,
Starting point is 01:59:12 does not mean he's winning it. But no, but he's looking pretty good. It's a good indication. His polling in Nevada has been very good, up five point four. He was up 12 in one of the polls. Average is five point four points. This is according to real clear politics. All right. And I'll give you the third state there, which was Georgia. And that one, Trump leads by four point eight. So he's got a margin there that's, you know, pretty good. Right on the outskirts of margin of error or maybe a little bit beyond it in those states. If you go to the other three states, he'd have to win one of them. Things get a lot more tight.
Starting point is 01:59:43 He is up by 0.1% in Wisconsin. Wow. In the polls. Geez. Now, he's outperformed in Wisconsin the last couple of elections, what polling said. But he's up by 0.1% there. In Michigan, he's up by half a point on average. and in Pennsylvania he is up by 2.3 points.

We'll get into that stuff. Is there any other reaction from the left than dumb? I don't think there's one available to them. That's about the only kind of reaction that you hear from them or see from them.
Starting point is 02:04:12 It really is incredible. They're so stupid. It's so disingenuous. Like just give in a little bit. Just say, look, we know how bad this looks. I get it. And like, look, I think. Trump has been the worst blah blah blah blah to say all those things
Starting point is 02:04:26 but this is ridiculous. This particular outcome is absurd. You know who's the closest maybe to saying that is Bill Maher. And he's the only one. Yeah. The only one. And he's, you know, does he count anymore? No.
Starting point is 02:04:40 Because he is still a liberal, but he just is so now like. I mean, the left has gone so far out of bounds that I don't think he can go there with them. He's kind of in his own category now. Yeah, he is. He's no longer a typical leftist. He's now just, you know, like what used to be a typical leftist or a typical Democrat. Now I don't think he even belongs in the party anymore. No, not at all.
Starting point is 02:05:05 The Glenn Beck Program.
