The 45-page indictment lists four counts, warning head could explode. Conspiracy to defraud the United States. conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and an attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Oh, I can hear the cracking of heads all over America. I'm going to boil it down, easy style for you in 60 seconds. Stand by. Starting point is 00:04:44 All right. So let's go through this. Biden's Department of Justice basically just handed down a charge of criminal misinformation. And that seemingly made up crime somehow led to a coordinated assault on the Capitol on January 6th. Now this is a game-changing precedent. If Trump is convicted on this, is misinformation now a crime under case law? Are untrue political statements made by politicians or others? In other words, 99% of every 99% of everything politicians ever say, is it now a potential crime?
Starting point is 00:05:31 If misinformation is a crime, will they ever go after, let's say, the Washington Post for the crime? of misinformation that they have done on Hunter Biden. Under that precedent are the actions of others considered the fault of the person that committed the said crime. We have to be very careful. What exactly is on trial here? Is it political speech? Is it lies? Is it anything the regime doesn't like said? And does it matter who said it? A judge assigned to this case is an Obama appointee. Okay, fine. In Washington, D.C., her name is Tanya Chuckin. She is the only judge in D.C. who has handed out sentences to January 6th defendants that were longer than the government requested. To say Trump is
Starting point is 00:06:32 attending a trial behind enemy lines is an understanding. statement. This is a witch hunt. They want to throw him in jail and all of the people are in place to make this happen. This indictment focuses on events that happen in 2020, but don't be fooled. This has nothing to do with 2020 and everything to do with 2024. I want to show you an interesting timeline. Tell me if this doesn't look curious. June 7th, the FBI releases documents to Congress alleging that the Bidens took $10 million bribe from Burisma. The very next day, June 8th, Jack Smith indicts Trump in Marlago document case. July 26, Hunter Biden goes to court and rejects the sweetheart plea deal after it was
Starting point is 00:07:28 revealed the DOJ tried to give him blanket immunity from all future prosecutions. The very next day, July 27th, Jack Smith adds more charges for Trump in the Mar-a-Lago case. July 31st, Hunter Biden's former business partner testifies to Congress that Joe Biden was on over 20 calls with his son's business partners and that Burisma executives pressured them to fire the prosecutor. The very next day, Jack Smith indicts Trump again for January 6th. Wow, that is a series of really remarkable coincidence, isn't it? This government being run by Joe Biden and his allies are using every deep state trick they can. They seem to be working hand in hand with the left now for several years. Their next big target is 2024. And it is something Democrats have been getting away,
Starting point is 00:08:37 been getting ready for for years. They have been building systems, plans, and helping impose new election laws that will turn the 2020 debacle into the new normal. Tonight, I'm going to lay out all of this on my Wednesday night special. You don't want to miss it at 9 p.m. and 9.30 on my YouTube channel, YouTube.com slash Glenn Beck. It's exposed the deep plans, the deep state plans for the 24 election. Now, I have to tell you, there's a lot of stuff that we can't tell you about because we can't get information on it. The president had a government-wide operation. It was one of his first executive orders on how to register new voters. That every, the driver's license, the farm, you know, the, the FDA, the, the, uh, the agricultural.
Starting point is 00:09:35 Commission, the Department of the Interior, all of them told government-wide, your priority is to register voters. Hmm. Congress has been trying to get the details on that, and the White House will not turn them over. What are they doing? Now, Jonathan Turley says this is the first criminal indictment. of alleged disinformation. If you take a red pen to all of the material that is protected by the First Amendment, you can reduce much of the indictment to high coup.
Starting point is 00:10:20 He said, I felt the Mar-a-Lago indictment was strong, but this is the inverse. We also have Alan Dershowitz on in about an hour, and he's going to talk about it as well. he says this is this is not going to survive and it's very very dangerous. The Trump campaign set out yesterday and they said the lawlessness of these persecutions of President Trump and his supporters is reminiscent of Nazi Germany in the 1930s. Also the former Soviet Union and all other authoritarian dictatorial regimes. President Trump has always followed the law and the Constitution with advice from many highly accomplished attorneys. Trump was charged with four counts. Now, some of this goes to
Starting point is 00:11:12 what the people up in, where was it, Wisconsin a couple of weeks ago, who were electoral college people. They were, they decided that they were going to switch their votes and send in another set of electoral college votes. And Trump was encouraging. this. They say that that was highly illegal and those people have to go to jail for it. Well, may I just say in the truth's defense, could you please listen to this television ad that was run in the few months before the 2020 election from Hollywood and the Democrats? Listen to what they're saying. Republican members of the Electoral College, this message is for you. As you know, our founding fathers built the Electoral College to safeguard the American people from the dangers of
Starting point is 00:12:15 a demagogue and to ensure that the presidency only goes to someone who is to an eminent degree endowed with the requisite qualifications. An eminent degree. Someone who is highly qualified for the job. The Electoral College was created specifically to prevent an unbeknown, fit candidate from becoming president. There are 538 members of the Electoral College. You. And just 36 other conscientious Republican electors can make a difference.
Starting point is 00:12:44 By voting your conscience on December 19th. And thereby shaping the future of our nation. I'm not asking you to vote for Hillary Clinton. I'm not asking you to vote for Hillary Clinton. I'm not asking you to vote for Hillary Clinton. As you know, the Constitution gives electors the right to vote for any eligible person. Any eligible person, no matter we. no matter which party they belong to.
Starting point is 00:13:05 But it should certainly be someone you consider especially competent. Especially competent to serve as president of the United States of America. By voting your conscience, you and other brave Republican electors can give the House of Representatives the option to select a qualified candidate
Starting point is 00:13:24 for the presidency. I stand with you. I stand with you. I stand with you. I stand with you in support and solidarity. with conservatives, independence, and liberals. And all citizens of the United States. The American people trust that your voice speaks for us all.
Starting point is 00:13:42 And that you will make yourself heard through the constitutional responsibility granted. Stop, I don't think we need any more, Your Honor. I think the case has been made. Now, I don't like the fact that you're going to try to influence electoral college voters and tell them, hey, switch your vote. You're not tied to that. I don't like that. But that is part of the deal.
Starting point is 00:14:06 I am against that. I was against that and this was in 2016. I was against that in 2016, against that in 2020 and against that now. But it's not a crime. It may be unseemly. It might be dirty. But when you have a party that has done everything that the Democrats have done to rig an election through Zucker bucks and everything else.
Starting point is 00:14:41 And you truly don't feel that this was an honest election. Now, I don't. Now, it may have all been legal. I'm not saying the voting machines, you know, through it. I think there was enough irregularity that a real look at the last election was needed and necessary. I don't know if there were enough votes to throw it to Donald Trump, but I have a hard time believing the numbers. But just because I believe it doesn't make it true, my feelings don't matter. The facts matter.
Starting point is 00:15:19 And the facts of what they're charging Donald Trump with matter. He believed that election was stolen. And I think you, any reasonable person can see how he might have thought that. They had tried everything, everything. I even went over with the White House, and they wouldn't listen to me. I went over with the White House over and over and over again. You have no idea what the Democrats are really planning. They had a whole plan to take the streets and demand exactly like January 6th to take the streets and demand the streets,
Starting point is 00:16:00 to take the streets and demand that Donald Trump not accept the presidency, or they would split the country in half. That's their words, their plan. And now all of a sudden, they're the good guys. No, I'm sorry, facts actually matter. Now, when you look at Biden, there is a real problem, and this is why that timeline was so important. The timeline is important because things are changing and they need to stop the hemorrhaging as quickly as they can.
Starting point is 00:16:42 We are now 49 years ago this month, we are now marking the 49th anniversary this month of Richard Nixon's resignation. So why does this matter? I'll tell you in 60 seconds. Let me tell you about My Pillow, our sponsor, My Pillow has been around for 20 years, 20 years. And because you've helped make it to the company that it is today, the My Pillow, which is the best pillow I've slept on, and a great, great series of products. Because this is not the only product they put out. They also have the mattress topper, the slippers, which are fantastic, the bath towels, a whole lot more. At this point, they have over 200 products to choose from.
Starting point is 00:17:31 So now for a limited time to celebrate their 20th anniversary, MyPillow is offering you a free gift valued at $20. No purchase is necessary. When you go over to MyPillow.com, you'll see the offer right on the main page. And while you're there, don't forget to check out all of the deep, deep discounts that they're having on some of their most loved products. MyPillow, turning 20. And quite honestly, this is not something that is in the copy or ever will be in the copy. They are going after Mike Lindell and his company like nobody's business. They're doing everything they can to shut him down.
Starting point is 00:18:07 And they are going after his advertisements. They're going after anyone. So put your money where your mouth is. If you need a new pillow, will you at least consider my pillow? Click on the radio listener square, then use the promo code back or call 800-966-31-17. Check out the free gift as well, valued at $20. No purchase necessary. Again, go to Mypillow.com or call 80096633117.
Starting point is 00:18:37 800, 9663117. Use the promo code back. 10 seconds, station ID. So the president is hemorrhaging voters. Hemorrhaging. Black voters, Latinos, independents, disaffected Republicans. It is now 15 months until Election Day, 2024. and the coalition that carried Biden to a victory that was unheard of
Starting point is 00:19:12 is, may not happen this time because he's hemorrhaging. According to New York Times, Sienna College poll, Biden and Trump are tied at 43% among registered voters. That's crazy. A combined 14% say they would support a different candidate or they wouldn't vote or refuse to answer.
Starting point is 00:19:35 But look at the cross. tabs here. In the poll, Biden leads Trump by 10 points among voters 18 to 29. In the 2020 exit poll, he had a 24 point advantage. So he's down 14 points. He's up 12 points among women when it was 15 points in 2020. He's ahead by 59 points among black voters, but it was 75 points his last election, up three points among Latinos, down from 33 points. So his border policies, oh, it's very friendly to Latino. Really? Because he's only up three.
Starting point is 00:20:16 He's lost 30 points of Latinos. And with independence, he's ahead by five points when it was 13 points. Now, he still has a 43% favorable rating. Trump has a 41%. but people are on it. 49 years ago this month, Richard Nixon had to resign. In the wake of the whistleblower testimony on bribery and corruption allegations,
Starting point is 00:20:44 now the majority believe that these scandals are serious and they agree. The majority of people agree it's likely that the president is involved in part of an illegal cover-up. Listen to these numbers. 61% believe the financial and bribery scandals linking first son Hunter Biden to his father are serious, with only 29% of the population going, it's no big deal. Worse for the president, 44% believe the scandal is very serious and that he took part in money phone calls with Hunter Biden's clients. 42% of Democrats agree with that. Now, this is a Rasmussen poll.
Starting point is 00:21:25 They generally lean to the right. It's a pool made up of 36% Democrats, 33% Republicans, 31% independence. On the question of an illegal cover-up, 60% believe the president is part of an illegal cover-up to hide his involvement in his son, Hunter Biden's foreign business deals. Of those, 45% said it's very likely, and 36% of Democrats agreed. In Watergate, most believe it was Nixon's effort to cover up the illegal breakers. in to the Democratic Party headquarters. It wasn't the crime. It was the cover-up. And in that cover-up, Nixon was often accused of using his Justice Department and other agencies to attack his
Starting point is 00:22:13 enemies' list. Rasmussen found similar concern among current likely voters, asked if, like Nixon, Joe Biden had used the weaponization of government to benefit his family and deny Congress the ability to have oversight, 58% agreed, 43 strongly agreed, and 35% disagreed. And this is just getting started. Now, if we could get the Senate maybe to do some work on this, or at least, you know, tweet or what are you call it, this is so stupid. If you could get the Senate involved and, you know, you know, know, Turtle Mitch to poke his head out from his shell and go, oh, looks like maybe there's something to investigate. It would be helpful. GOP. The Glennback program. All right. Patriot Mobile, you know the purpose of a parallel economy. It's not meant to be something that has to last forever, but maybe
Starting point is 00:23:17 it is. But it is first and foremost about stopping doing business, stopping being a slave, because there's no other choice. There is another choice. Here's the biggest and the first really big choice you can make right now and vote with your feet. Starting point is 00:24:23 Dark Future Uncovering the Great Resets Terrifying. Next Phase is available in bookstore. everywhere yeah welcome to it now I just want to share something that my my entire life from probably 2009 on I've been telling you about an economic crisis I told you about the 2008 crisis you know from really 2004 Stu for about four years I rang that bell and it was conspiracy it's never gonna happen you know what is his education blah blah blah and I started in 2009 telling you that we are going to be downrated and the dollar is eventually going to
Starting point is 00:25:11 collapse. It is it's it's clear. You know, you can be overeducated and go, oh, no, there's systems to make sure that won't happen. But no, there's no system that will stop insanity, except for sanity. And as long as people remain insane in Washington or in Wall Street, it's going to happen. Now, I was a little bit wrong. They're not necessarily insane. They just have a different agenda than you do. So in 2011, we were downgraded,
Starting point is 00:25:51 which means if somebody is going to invest in us by our bonds, our debt, they're looking for something that is a sure deal, especially now. So in 2011, we were downgraded by fit. It's the ratings agency. And we went from the top credit rating of AAA to AA plus, which is number two. Well, now yesterday, in something that will never happen, it's a conspiracy theory. There's no way. I mean, America is the best.
Starting point is 00:26:26 I mean, there's no competition for our dollar. Uh-huh, uh-huh. Well, yesterday, in, quote, a surprise move, uh-huh, the ratings agency. Fitch downgraded us yet again from AA plus, which is number two, to AA, which is now number three. Once you start getting into the B category, there's not a chance anyone's going to buy your bonds. But don't worry. Nobody is buying our bonds even before yesterday. When you talk about bonds, people don't, their eyes glaze over, they don't know what it means.
Starting point is 00:27:03 What it means is every dollar that we are spending and printing, every bailout, every new project, every new green new deal, every dollar that we are borrowing, no one is giving us real money. Nobody is buying that anymore. It used to be that China and Japan and countries all over the world would buy our bonds because, we were good for it. Now not a single buyer will buy our debt except for the Federal Reserve. Now, this doesn't just include, you know, the new stuff. We're so good that we sell 30-year bonds, but not as much as we do the one and three- and five-year bonds. And those one-three- and five-year bonds have to be renewed. So somebody bought that for a year. Yeah, I'll roll the dice. I'll put my money in US savings bonds or treasury bonds because they're the safest thing out there. I don't trust anything else.
Starting point is 00:28:15 Well, when those come up, who's going to buy them? Nobody's buying them, which means you have to raise the interest paid on the bonds, which you pay through taxes. When you you pay, through taxes, when you have a bond that is paying 4% over the year, you, the taxpayer, have to come up with that 4%. We are going to soon, very soon, be paying half, half of all of the taxes paid will go to just the interest on, what is it, $33 trillion now. That's a lot of money. That's a lot of money. I don't know if you know that.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Just an interest. That's a lot of money. So the dollar went down again, which means you have less buying power. And that's something else people don't understand. The target now of the Fed, the target, their hope is that they can get us into a place to where our inflation is only 3% per year. And you'd say, well, inflation of 3%, that's not bad. Really? every year, 3%. By the end of 10 years, that means you've lost about 38 cents on every dollar.
Starting point is 00:29:40 It doesn't take very much if they hit 4% inflation. We're not even close to that. This is why everything is getting smaller except the bill at the grocery store. It is getting larger. and that is because of out of control spending in Washington. Here's what happens. When nobody buys our bonds, our left pocket says to our right pocket, we need some more money. And our right pocket says,
Starting point is 00:30:16 well, you should sell bonds. And our left pocket says, well, nobody's buying our bonds. And so the right pocket says to the left pocket, well, you know what? I tell you what. I'll buy the bonds. And then I'll just print some more money and you give me the bonds in the left pocket or the right pocket. And I'll give you new cash in your pocket.
Starting point is 00:30:41 It's the same pair of pants. This is a game. This is the largest, what is it, five or six largest banks in the country. They are the Federal Reserve. Okay. This is a private corporation. And the ones who make up the Federal Reserve are the ones that keep getting the bailouts. They are going to be the only banks left at the end of this.
Starting point is 00:31:11 And then they'll fail and it will turn over to the Federal Reserve and we'll write a whole new thing with all new money. And it will be digital money. And that digital money will be. programmable what does that mean programmable means they can make it expire at any time they need you to spend your money so you have a thousand dollars in the bank 800 of that is going to expire at the end of the month so you better spend it now or hey you really can't spend it on gas because gas is getting too expensive and you live close enough to walk to the grocery store and work or write a
Starting point is 00:31:56 bike. So your money in your account, not everybody's, but your money because you're not an essential worker or you live close enough in that 15 minute city that you will never be able to buy gas with your digital dollar from the U.S. Federal Reserve. Well, for full faith and credit, amen, this is what they're going to do. If you don't believe me, please, please, please. do your own homework read the book dark future it is footnoted it shows you exactly how all of this is coming down how all of this is playing out it shows you what their plan is in their own words please there is not a lot of time left for you to protect yourself and what you have and you might say well i don't have anything so it doesn't matter yet yes it does
Starting point is 00:32:57 matter it does matter do you have a garden do you have a backyard you can turn into a garden because by the way food is also another controlling uh lever and they are pulling that they are making our farmers into the bad guy for the earth and don't worry massanto is here and cargill is here so they are going to be the great stewards of the earth and they along with Bill Gates will control the farming and they'll get you that food course we're not going to make a lot of food you know with the land we're going to make it in a petri dish and we're going to grow your food through you know pharmaceuticals and better living through chemicals so we found a way to play God we can now make
Starting point is 00:33:49 meat uh-huh so we can protect the land uh-huh your freedom comes from having access to land and food to be able to grow your own food have farmers your freedom comes with you being able to earn a dollar and spend it the way you want to spend it all of this is coming to an end quickly you know if people say well you know you know i don't know where my red line is. Let me give you a red line because we're running out of red lines. My red line came a few years ago. And my red line, one of my red lines is don't screw with my family. Don't tell me what I have to parrot back that I know is scientifically incorrect. So I'm past my red line. What is yours? If you don't have one, may I suggest
Starting point is 00:34:59 a couple now they're very very late but the red line should be that i have access to all information that i can do my own research and that i can question even the most powerful in the government and i can do it without repercussions because it is my right to use my brain to figure things out now I may be wrong in the end but that is also my right that I can pursue truth the next line should also include there's no one between me and another citizen so I don't have when I'm when I am expressing my point of view I can read others points of view and they can read mine without somebody in between saying, no, we're going to de-emphasize this.
Starting point is 00:36:03 No, we're going to keep this person quiet. No, we're going to make sure this person doesn't read what that person is doing. No one in between me and the person I want to have a relationship with. Even as the relationship is, I disagree with you. As long as it's not, I'm coming to kill you, then maybe, you know, there should be somebody that steps in. But that's the way it's always been. nobody has a right to throttle my relationships or get in between me and someone else or me and the truth and the last one is no i own my land i own my land and i can be a good steward in fact i'll be
Starting point is 00:36:50 a better steward than you are federal government i own my land and i own my water and if i want to farm my land, I can. Once they take the ability of the farmer away to independently grow vegetables, food, cows, whatever they want to do, once that is taken away from them or made so onerous that no one except Cargill, you know, Monsanto or or the World Economic Forum or the United States government or Bill Gates. When they take that ability away from you, the average person, you're no longer free. If you haven't set a red line yet, you might want to consider it. What is it going to take for you to stand up and say, wrong direction?
Starting point is 00:37:48 No, I'm not going there. And let me just say one more thing and then we have to break. Be very, very careful on who you align your own. yourself with. Even your own faith can be hijacked and we can look for a new Christian defender who, you know, we all love the Constitution, but things, you know, sometimes we have to do things. And so we're going to give this person extra power and unleash him to do what must be done. do not follow that path. Please pay attention.
Starting point is 00:38:40 It's hard to see right now, but it is going to become very apparent soon. That's because, you know, most of them are really stupid. However, that's not true when you're dealing with cybercrime. And every once in a while, they can really pull a fast one in a way that you might not expect. For instance, they can steal your home's title, forge their signature on it, and then basically own your home.
Starting point is 00:41:12 It should be really hard to do. It's not that hard to do, and that's what's scary. And the kicker is when this happens, you might not even know about it until it's way too late. Some people literally find out when they start getting past due notices on loans that they never took out. That's really scary, of course, to try to go through, but you don't have to go through it.

Okay, we're going to talk about the indictment on Trump plus Devin Archer's testimony and Joe Biden. What is really going on? Cut all the circus out of it. Alan Dershowitz joins us for a few minutes at the beginning of our number two, which is just a couple of minutes away. Stand by.
Starting point is 00:42:44 She knows. How? Did you blouse? No. The Devil Wears Prada 2. He's the movie event 20 years in the making. Honestly, can't with the secrets anymore, so I think we just, we should tell her. Will you two please spit it out already?

That's a nice story. The Devil Wears Prada 2 in Theat's Friday. What you're about to hear. is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck program.
Starting point is 00:44:02 So there is an interesting timeline that is popping up. I don't know if you've noticed, but the last three indictments on Donald Trump have all been filed the day after a massive revelation on Hunter Biden. this latest indictment that came out yesterday of Donald Trump, I'm not sure exactly what it even is. Do you no longer have the right to your opinion? This seems to be a war on disinformation. Who's the arbiter of that? Certainly should not be the government. Let's talk to Alan Dershowitz, what this is really all about, and does this this?
Starting point is 00:44:51 have any legs to it. We'll do that in 60 seconds. Stand by. We have a massive morale problem in America right now, and it is a generational problem. When you have a society that begins to reject notions like personal responsibility, which we've been doing for decades now, you eventually end up with the people who will routinely fall for anything because they don't stand for anything anymore. We have to change this in our own lives and for the next generation. I want you to pick up a free book. It's free only this week. It is called the Tuttle Twins and the 12 Rules Boot Camp. You just pay for shipping and that's it. Your kids and grandkids can begin absorbing the same values, the values that we used to preach here in America, the values
Starting point is 00:45:43 that have an emphasis on personal responsibility. This is all really kind of. coming from Jordan Peterson's work over the last few years. We can't be a nation of victims. We've got to change our point of view and rediscover the founding principles of this country. And Tuttle Twins are determined to help your kids do it. Tuttle Twinsbeck.com. Get the free book now.
Starting point is 00:46:07 It's free for the next couple of days. You just pay for shipping. So go there now. The Tuttle Twins and the 12 Rules boot camp. It is free while supplies last at Tuttle Twinsbeck.com. That's Tuttle Twinsbeck.com. The author of the price of principle and get Trump is going to be joining us here in just a second,
Starting point is 00:46:35 Alan Dershowitz. You know, I'm looking at what the media is saying now, as opposed to what they were saying about, Joe Biden. And it just keeps ever changing. Can we play that clip? We played it in the, uh, the news report at the top of the first hour. Um, I think it was from MSNBC, where they were, I mean, incredibly just, just missing everything that has been brought up about Joe Biden. And now saying it's because his son died and he was very upset and he wasn't paying attention. Listen to this. Let's put this in context.
Starting point is 00:47:17 Bo Biden got very sick in early 2015. He died in the spring of 2015, which was right in the middle when Devin Archer had his business dealings with Hunter Biden. At that point, Joe Biden and Hunter Biden began to speak every day because they were both devastated by Bo's death. They spoke every day. The witness testified that over his 10-year relationship with Hunter Biden, there may be approximately 20 times. when in one of those conversations, Hunter Biden would put his father at a dinner, not at a business meeting, at a dinner that he was having if he happened to get a hold of his father, and would ask his father to say hello to whoever was at the table.
Starting point is 00:48:02 And that was essentially the extent of it. They didn't, he, it was unclear and the witness testified, it's not me saying, that the witness testified that a lot of times, most of the time, Joe didn't even know who the people were at the dinner table. Most of the time. Oh, that's great. Because there's never been a meeting at a dinner before. I mean, that's literally never occurred.
Starting point is 00:48:23 No one has ever been able to do business while eating at a table. Like, this has never been something attempted by anyone in business. No, of course not. Of course not. And it's only, look, I'm very broken up about my brother. You can understand that. I'm very broken up about my brother, but I'm in an emergency meeting with Burisma. and they're telling me they need assurances that my dad will stop Victor Shokin from investigating Burisma or we're done.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Isn't this what we're paying for, this, quote, illusion of power from your father? And then he says, let me get him on the phone. He calls him. and then a week later, shockingly, for no apparent reason, he gets Shokin fired by withholding money in foreign aid from the United States government.
Starting point is 00:49:25 But that was, he just left the room for just a second, just for a second to grieve with his dad. This is unbelievable what they're expecting you to buy into. Alan Dershowitz is with us. He is, of course, the author of get, Trump and the price of principle and host of the Dershow. Alan Dershowitz joins us now. We would love to understand, Alan, what exactly is Donald Trump being charged with in this
Starting point is 00:49:57 latest indictment? The basic charge is that he personally knew he had lost the election. He believed that he had actually lost the election of Ferenst, and he engaged in all these actions with a corrupt motive. I don't think the government's going to be able to prove that. There is no... First of all, let me tell you something. I talked to Donald Trump probably about two weeks before January 6th.
Starting point is 00:50:29 There is no way he believed he lost that election. There's still, today, he does not believe he lost that election. I can guarantee it. You know him well enough to know that. He believes he won the election, and he believes it was stolen from him. I think he's wrong. Many people told him he was wrong. Many people are quoted in the indictment telling him he was wrong, but that doesn't make the crime.
Starting point is 00:50:57 Crime requires beyond a reasonable doubt that he himself actually knew and believed it and acted with a corrupt motive. I don't think the government's going to be able to prove that. to state a broader point. When the Attorney General of the United States authorizes an indictment, as was done here, against the man running against the incumbent president, who is now tied 44-44 in the New York Times poll, that indictment better be the strongest indictment in American history. There should be a smoking gun, fingerprints, a videotape and a confession. This document is so flawed, is so filled with speculation.
Starting point is 00:51:36 Jack Smith's famous for bringing. speculative cases and then being smacked down by appellate courts. This just doesn't satisfy the Banana Republic test. In Banana Republic's presidents prosecute their political opponents, and the stronger their political opponents are in the polls, the more likely they are to be prosecuted. And we don't want that to happen in the United States. And I think this indictment doesn't meet what I call the Nixon standard. The Nixon standard is Nixon's crimes was so obvious that even his political supporters favor is being impeached or being prosecuted. That's not the case here. Right now, the only people who seem to support this indictment are partisans who are anti-Trump, and that's just not enough to heal the divisions in this country. So this indictment will further the divisions, and especially if it's ultimately reversed on appeal. Look, the indictment has brought in the district of The District of Columbia jury will convict anybody named Trump for anything. And that's why the case should be moved to Virginia.
Starting point is 00:52:44 It will be subject to a motion to change the venue to Virginia where you have a level playing field. It's a purple state. This case should be tried in a purple state, not in a bright, bright, bright, bright, a democratic state. And that's where it's being tried in the most Democratic district in the United States of America. the most anti-Trump district in the entire United States. That's where the trial is scheduled to be held by a judge who has a very questionable background. She worked for years for a firm that's highly questionable, the David Boy's firm, very, very democratic-oriented. She was working.
Starting point is 00:53:30 Right, and Burisma, and she was working there at the time of all of that stuff. Not saying that she was involved in it, but... Right. ...have been charged with more cases of corruption and disbarable conduct than any law firm in modern American history. And it's well known for being subject to so many charges. And she was part of that firm. And that's not something I would brag about. I got that firm disqualified in a case because of the conflict of interest.
Starting point is 00:54:06 and they've been charged over and over again with conflict and other kinds of things. And she spent most of her career in that firm. So if I'm Donald Trump, I don't want to be tried in front of her. I want to be tried in front of a judge who has a fair and better background. And I want to be tried in front of a jury that isn't 90-something percent anti-Trump voters. Can he get that done? He can try. And if he loses, it will be subject to appeal.
Starting point is 00:54:36 and that might be the kind of thing that could be appealed immediately as well. There's some dispute about that. But change of venue motions can sometimes be subject to what a call interlocutory appeal. So there's a lot that will happen before he stands trial in the District of Columbia in front of this judge. This judge also is the January 6th hanging judge. There hasn't been a single case that has come before her that she hasn't given tougher sentences than even the government was asking for? Well, I mean, you need to have, in this case, when you're trying the man is running against
Starting point is 00:55:16 the incumbent president, it has to be Caesar's wife. It has to be clearer and cleaner than anything. And having the trial in the Columbia in front of this judge on the basis of an indictment of this kind is going to just so great a divisions in this country. People are not going to be satisfied that this is a fair objective justice. You know, the Bible, the Torah, says, Lothakir Ponim to judges, don't recognize faces. Don't do justice based on who the person is. Do justice based on the law and the facts, and the law and the facts don't support this indictment. I don't know how you feel about Jonathan Turley. I generally like him, because he's kind of like the Constitution. He doesn't always fall my way.
Starting point is 00:56:05 And so he said yesterday that this is the first criminal indictment of alleged disinformation. If you take a red pin to all the material presumptively protected by the First Amendment, you can reduce much of the indictment to high coup. I felt the Marlago indictment was strong. This is the inverse. In fact, it's unfair at points. It quotes Trump in his speech about encouraging people to go to the Capitol. but like the January 6th committee, it omits where he says, you should go peacefully. I'd like to get your comments on that in 60 seconds with Alan Dershowitz, the author of Get Trump.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Our sponsor, this half hour is Tunnel to Towers. I want to tell you about another hero and his family. It's Joseph Seals. He's a detective who's served with the New Jersey Police Department, New Jersey, department for 13 years and he worked with the city's ceasefire unit. He was helping get illegal guns out of the hands of criminals and tragically he was shot and killed during a confrontation with an armed gunman in 2019 just days before Christmas. He left behind his wife, Laura, and their five children. Nothing makes this better. But Tunnel to Towers is a great organization
Starting point is 00:57:29 that is a foundation that comes forward when some police officer, firefighter, or a military member is killed in the line of duty. And they pay off the family's mortgage if there is one. So they can take that concern off their plate and they do it right away. They have helped over a thousand military and first responder families during the most difficult parts of their life. And it's because of people like you. Can you help remove this burden of the mortgage? for the people who are standing up and giving their life for us. Donate $11 a month.
Starting point is 00:58:05 Donate to Tunnel to T-Towers at T2T.org. Don't take my word for it. I want you to do your own homework and investigation. T2TTTTorrs.org. T-the-number-2T.org. 10 seconds, station ID. The author of Get Trump and the host of the Dershow podcast, Alan Dershowitz. So what do you think about the first case?
Starting point is 00:58:39 as Jonathan Turley says, making disinformation a crime? No, I think he's right. I think this really changes the nature of American politics. And if it would take into its logical conclusion, half of Congress would be in prison. You can't make it a crime to lie to the American public. You know, lying has been part of American politics since, you know, Thomas Jefferson ran against John Adams.
Starting point is 00:59:09 And the cure for lying is the other side tell the truth and you're in the election. But the First Amendment protects lies. The First Amendment protects so much speech that we despise. Look, I defend communists, Nazis, pornographers, not because I like any of them, but because I like free speech and because the alternative is a system of censorship. and this indictment takes us down the road. Real. And what is true and what is not true is often in the eye of the beholder, particularly in the political context. Remember, Chief Justice Rehnquist, a conservative Chief Justice said the First Amendment doesn't recognize a false opinion.
Starting point is 00:59:57 False opinions and true opinions have the same status under the First Amendment. And this is a case criminalizing a false opinions. people believe a false opinion. What I believe is a false opinion. I think that President Biden won the election fair and square. I wish there hadn't been some of the Russia dossier stuff and some of the stuff involving social media. But the election count itself was, I think, fair. Was there some constitutional problems? Yeah, Pennsylvania violated Article 2 of the Constitution, in my opinion. But it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the election. But Donald Trump has the right to
Starting point is 01:00:40 protest and to be wrong in his protests. And that's what the deepest problem is here. Can you go into this a bit, Alan, because I know the founders, they fought over freedom of speech. And especially when, you know, the Sedition Act was imposed. Right. They went back and forth and they, they said the government cannot ever be the arbiter of truth. It can't. It can't be because sometimes they're lying. And if they're the only ones that can say, nope, this is true, this is not, which they did in COVID and everything else, it is an unworkable society. It eventually kills all free speech. Can you kind of explain that in layman's terms to people? Yeah. Well, the 1800 election, one of the great elections in history, was really about
Starting point is 01:01:36 this. John Adams, and believe it or not, even George Washington, had supported the alien and Alexander Hamilton supported the alien and sedition acts which punished opinions that were contrary to the opinions of the government. People actually went to prison. Thomas Jefferson ran against that and he overwhelmingly
Starting point is 01:01:54 beat John Adams who was a great man and a great president but Americans wanted free speech and Jefferson then pardon the people who were convicted under the Alien and Sedition Act and from then on I think the First Amendment has been
Starting point is 01:02:10 interpreted very, very broadly, which doesn't always serve the interests of the American public immediately. It means that you do allow adult pornography, you do allow communist speech and Nazi speech and hate speech, an anti-Semitic speech, and anti-Catholic speech, and anti-Christian and anti-Muslim speech. All of that is permitted. Look what happened in Sweden the other day. They burnt a Torah. They actually set it on fire. They burnt a Torah. And that would be permitted in the United States if it's your Torah or your Koran. Now, in Sweden, they're trying to pass a law now, prohibiting the burning of religious books, and maybe that will pass. But under our First Amendment, we have extraordinarily broad rights to do the wrong thing. And now President
Starting point is 01:02:59 Trump is being indicted for doing what this administration thinks was the wrong thing. I agree. I think he did the wrong thing. But he did say, when he made his January 6th speech, which I thoroughly disapprove He did say he wants people to protest peacefully and patriotically. And when you leave that out, that's as much of a lie as anything that Donald Trump was accused of. It's called a lie of a mission. Alan, I appreciate it. Thank you so much. I don't know where all of this ends, but I appreciate your guidance on this.
Starting point is 01:03:33 Thank you so much. Alan Dershowitz. So I want to just quickly go over this timeline one more time. June 7th, FBI releases the documents to Congress, alleging Biden's took a $10 million bribe. The very next day, June 8th, Jack Smith indicts Trump in the Mar-Lago Docs case. The 26th of July, Hunter Biden goes to court and rejects the sweetheart plea deal after it was revealed, DOJ tried to give him blanket immunity from all prosecutions in the future. The very next day, Jack Smith adds more charges for Trump in the Mar-Lago case.
Starting point is 01:04:08 July 31st, this week, Hunter Biden, former business partner, testifies that Joe Biden was in on 20 phone calls with his son's business partners, and the Burisma executives pressured them to fire the prosecutor. The very next day, Jack Smith indicts Trump again for January 6th. This is a curious at-best pattern. Is our president involved in the weaponization of our government as a cover-up exactly what Nixon left office for. The Glenn Beck Program.
Starting point is 01:04:48 American Financing NMLS-182334. www. nmLS Consumer Access.org. So let me tell you the interest rates are going up. Your dollar is going to get weaker. The government was shocked. Janet Yellen said, oh, no, this is wrong. Fitch has just the ratings agency has just downgraded us again as the government. That means everything is changing.
Starting point is 01:05:16 You need to get out of debt. And I know it is hard enough just to pay, you know, the grocery store every week. You get there and everything is going up. People are putting money on their credit card. And that's going to be a very high interest rate that you're paying to pay off those credit cards. you're going to get behind the eight ball. Now this isn't right for everybody, but American financing is asking you just to look in to see if it's right for you.
Starting point is 01:05:44 Deal with some of that debt before your eyeballs are all the way up into this debt. They're saving people $700 a month on average. You can end up delaying two mortgage payments in closing as little as 10 days. Find out all the information, 800, 906, 2440, Americanfinancing. net. Hey, thanks so much for making our book, Dark Future, the number one selling book in America. It is just to become the, I think it's number 10. I'm surprised to crack the top 10.
Starting point is 01:06:33 It's number 13 on the New York Times seller bestselling list. AP just reported the audio book is number 10. Huh. They're doing everything they can to hide this book, to make sure. that nobody reads it. It's not available at Target. You know, whatever. You won't find it at the airports because they follow the New York Times.
Starting point is 01:06:56 And even though we outsold the number one book on the New York Times list, we were number 13. So they're doing everything they can. And there's a reason. It tells the truth about what is happening and where we are headed. And it tells it in clear, informed, and well-sourced ways. So thank you for making it a success and reading it. Please pass it on to your friends. The other thing is our audiobook, I think it's the best audio book I've ever done.
Starting point is 01:07:29 Have you listened to the audiobook yet, Stu? No, I haven't. I know you did a lot of improvving on it, which... Yeah, a little bit. Yeah, a little bit. It's very, very, very, very funny. And the last chapter, I think, is extraordinarily stirring and hopeful. Make sure you grab the audio book if you don't have time to read it in paper because it explains an awful lot and you will see the world in a different way.
Starting point is 01:07:55 It's called Dark Future. It is available everywhere. If you want to buy it in the hardback form, go to bookshop.org. I mean, you go everywhere, but bookshop.org is the one that is supporting all of these local bookstores, not the big chains. All right. There is a there is a cruisible. sade against popular household items that is happening. As of yesterday, traditional incandescent light bulbs became a thing of the past. Again, Donald Trump, you know, said, you can buy incandescent light bulbs or not. George Bush did it in the middle of the night in the middle of Christmas when nobody was paying attention right before he left office. And we were left at the time with fluorescent light bulbs.
Starting point is 01:08:44 and they were horrible. Remember those little spiral thingies? They were horrible. Everybody hated them. And Donald Trump thought that that shouldn't happen. You shouldn't be forced by the government to buy a fluorescent light bulb. But what happened in between was the free market gave us the lights we now have, which are LED and first their color sucked. But now you can change the color. You can go from 5,000 degrees, which is super, super bright white, to, you know, 2,500 or 3,000 degrees, which is very, very warm and yellow. So you choose what, you know, light you have. And they don't burn out as fast.
Starting point is 01:09:30 They, you're not constantly changing light bulbs. It's a great light bulb. But the light bulb band that Biden just put in is now on the list of a growing number of home items. that they seem to be fixated on. Specifically, the DOJ proposed energy consumption standards that if enacted would make half of America's gas-powered stoves non-compliant overnight. This is not good. By the way, if you stop using natural gas, you put even more load onto the electrical grid, because all you can use is electricity.
Starting point is 01:10:15 To heat your home, to cook your food, all of that has to be now electrical. Well, I don't know about you, but I don't know where we're going to get all of this electricity, quite honestly. And I say this as a guy who has spent way too much money on electrical in my life. I am broadcasting from my ranch, which is 100,000. percent green energy, wind power, which is completely useless. I will tell you that we had a big windmill. We had a huge storm last week or the week before, and it blew down. It's been up for almost 10 years. It blew down. We didn't even see a blip in our energy, not a blip. Okay. We have three gigantic solar panels, and we get all of our energy from that and back up from a
Starting point is 01:11:11 natural gas generator in case we have several cloudy days. This thing is so not ready for the public. It has cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to get it to where it is stable. I asked the guy he was working on it and we were expanding it yet again to get it more stable. And I was asking the guy, I said, how many of these do you put into houses? And he said like this? And I said, yeah. And he said none he said you're this is like an industrial he said people can't afford um solar panel except in emergency situations it you cannot get enough electricity out of a solar panel right now to run the whole house unless you do what you're doing i got i got news for you gang in 10 years this system will be outdated it'll be better and more
Starting point is 01:12:07 efficient we started 10 or 11 years ago on this and I've had to upgrade it three or four times it's not ready for prime time so as much as we love the idea of wind which I don't solar which I'm okay with it's not anywhere close to being ready for anybody to run all of their appliances in their whole house it's just not happening so where are we going to be get all of this electricity because you can make electricity through natural gas but now that's no good this is going to destroy America now the House the Republicans have passed two bills aimed at blocking the federal attempts to regulate the gas powered stoves but remember the gas powered stoves Richard Trumpka well he said a
Starting point is 01:13:02 couple of things Richard Trumpka said any options on the table products that can't be made safe can be banned. And then the White House responded saying, the president doesn't support banning gas stoves. And the Consumer Product Safety Commission, which is independent, is not banning gas stoves. But guess what the White House is doing? Banning gas stoves. And recently, the White House held a methane gas summit. They didn't invite anyone from the oil or gas industry. because they don't trust the oil and gas industry. Okay. Well, Stu, can you help me out?
Starting point is 01:13:41 In the last 20 years, we have reduced our carbon emissions to an incredible extent while still using natural gas and oil. We are reducing it not because of wind and solar, but because we are inventing different ways to use the fossil fuels in a way that is clean. Yeah, the overwhelming percentage of the reductions in carbon emissions have come from switching from stuff like coal to natural gas and making that more and more efficient. Yes, there has been some solar panels.
Starting point is 01:14:21 Obviously, there's been tons of money from the government that has gone toward wind power and solar power. Unfortunately, not really toward nuclear, which would be an even more dramatic improvement. if you care about such things. We did open our first nuclear power plant. Where was it in Georgia, I think, this earlier this week or last week? And that was in process for what? 20 years, was it? Was it 20 years?
Starting point is 01:14:44 Yeah, but it only took us 20 or 30 years. That's it. Yeah, that's all. And by the way, Glenn, to add on to your solar power point for a second, and this just came out last week while I was on vacation and I had missed it. So forgive me if you talked about it while you were on vacation or I was on vacation. but a new study from Italy has just shown that solar panels, which 80% of them are made in China, yep, are showing three to five times the amount of carbon dioxide emissions than previously thought.
Starting point is 01:15:16 They've been selling you, all of the models that the IPCC has built to tell you what's going to happen with the climate, have all been factoring any solar panels that show the completely wrong amount of, carbon emissions associated with their production. And they're now saying three to five times the amount, maybe even more than that on the high end, that these things are actually doing much more damage than even previously believed. This is a huge development that, of course, is getting no press here in America. No one in mainstream media is covering it at all. And it's massively important.
Starting point is 01:15:56 And, you know, this is just one small piece of this giant puzzle. They keep telling us these things. They fail over the long term. All of their promises, all their projections wind up being wrong. And then we're asked to believe them and donate trillions of dollars globally to try to fight these problems that they can't even appropriately describe. And they also are telling us that now we'll have computing power that is so strong. They'll be able to monitor everything and make sure they could they, they, um, you know, show your carbon footprint and help you make all the decisions because they can monitor
Starting point is 01:16:35 everything in your house. The processing power that is coming online in the next five years and just the processing power for the police state, if you will, to make sure that you are living your life the way, you know, they want you to live your life. The processing power alone will take and create more carbon emissions than the entire airline industry in the globe. Oh my gosh. So maybe we should probably, maybe, I'm just saying,
Starting point is 01:17:10 slow down on that. Especially when you're going to be adding all these electric cars too. I mean, which we obviously can't handle as far as our electric grid as it is. Correct. Today. Correct. This is so much.
Starting point is 01:17:25 it's such a long-term approach. And at some point, you almost admire it from the left, and that they create these things that generate that constant state of war. We used to talk about that back, you know, years ago, this endless state of war where obviously when you're in a war, you'll do whatever you have to, and you'll break all sorts of rules to win the war, and you'll implement all sorts of new policies.
Starting point is 01:17:50 And the American people and any population will kind of go along with it because they're so scared of what might be around the corner with a war, well, the left has always been trying to create this equivalent to that, this endless state of war. You don't have to worry about when the war is over. You can continue to do these things if the war is against the climate. I mean, think about all the complaints we've heard over the past few months, Glenn, about how, oh, well, you know, Hillary Clinton coming out and saying, well, if it's hot outside, thank a MAGA person, as if MAGA people control the weather. And yet, this is happening in a context where we just passed, as they called it, the most
Starting point is 01:18:29 expansive and effective global warming policy in the history of the globe, the Inflation Reduction Act, right? That's how they sold that policy. They said it was the most impactful thing that has ever been passed in the history of the globe. Well, how is it our fault if the weather is bad? You guys just got billions and billions and billions of dollars to throw at your pet. projects that you told us at the time we're going to heal the climate. And now you're still with this same, it's just like a war. They never ends. No.
Starting point is 01:19:03 Because you said you wanted already and yet you still get to get all the money and the resources. And the reason why they have to have this war quickly and then we'll break is because they couldn't convince you to do it yourself. They couldn't. The science was bull crap and the solutions are even worse. Boston mayor Michelle Wu just announced she has banned fossil fuels in new city-owned buildings after teaming up with this Boston City Director of the Green New Deal. Climate action requiring all new buildings and major renovations operate without fossil fuels.
Starting point is 01:19:41 So that's cooking, stoves, onions, ovens, HVAC, and hot water heaters. Did anyone in Boston vote for that? Did anyone? No, they didn't. They just know better than you do. They couldn't get it past you, so now they're forcing it on you. Back in just a minute, our sponsor, this half hour is Rough Greens. Starting point is 01:21:45 your dollar coming up in just a few minutes. Onions and daughters, I don't know what's on my mind. All right. So let me just, let me just ask you, is it just me that questions this story and is really,
Starting point is 01:22:02 I out of hand it, reject it on the surface. Centers for disease control and prevention, the CDC, has just published a research letter sounding the alarm about leprosy in Florida. They say that the CDC is concerned that leprosy is becoming endemic or native. the two large swaths of Florida. Now, this is a pretty serious thing. I mean, you know, I don't want my skin, you know, falling off.
Starting point is 01:22:44 I don't want to go to a leper colony. But the CDC has damaged their credibility so much that if they would have said leprosy is happening in New York City, I wouldn't necessarily, you know, dismiss it. But seeing that it's in Florida and it's the government, saying leprosy in Florida. I, honestly, I look at it and roll my eyes. And leprosy may be happening in Florida. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:23:15 But I'm not listening to the CDC. Is it just me? Am I the only one that feels this way? Because I read it in the first thing, I went, oh yeah, leprosy in Florida. And it's probably if you vote for DeSantis. Look, Air Canada, did a sold world.
Starting point is 01:23:34 Super, an offer for the assort. Station Thermal, Volcan. You've seen the price for the Japan? Mmm, eparg and sushi. Wow, the solds are good for Mayork also. We could go to the plage and do you find a round-doney?

Starting point is 01:23:59 The conditions can't apply to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck Program. Well, hello, America. Fitch, the rating service, has just downgraded the United States and our bonds,
Starting point is 01:24:55 which is going to mean a lot of real trouble down the road for all of us, including the government that's just not going to get any more money from anybody except the Fed. I'll explain that coming up in just a second. Also, there is another big warning. sign to the economy that you need to pay attention to. It came out a couple of days ago, but I haven't seen a lot of people talking about it other than, huh. I'm going to start with yellow in 60 seconds.
Starting point is 01:25:35 How important is your identity to you? Well, it's not only the doorway to everything you have financially, but it's also your credibility. So you would see it on a family road trip. I mean, the family wouldn't see it, but if you're a dad, you saw it. You saw it at every truck stop you hit because gas prices were cheaper. Half the men in there were waiting for shower time, making our wives and daughters shy about using the bathroom and touching faucet handles.
Starting point is 01:26:57 You bought some crappy beef jerky and some Mr. Pib to keep you awake and 14 gallons of gas. Because the kids were restless in the backseat of the minivan. You looked over, almost longingly, the truck driver. Man, independent. No attachments, no obligations, but the open road. Seeking the black dog high of the 19-hour long haul from Denver to the ports of Louisiana or Corpus Christi. Ah, that would be the life. No, not so much. Brands start to stand out to us on the sides of trucks.
Starting point is 01:27:38 American, Mayflower, Atlas, International, Old Dominion, some sort of, bulldog the nuance between the manufacturer of the truck and the brand of the shipping company always a mystery but those guys seem to get it you imagine ah yeah you probably haven't taken a shower in a while you chew tobacco you drink Coors light in part because of the boycott man that's a life and in a way you imagine you have a lot in common with these men hard ready to fight if needs be moving America's good from point A to point B, making the alimony payments along the way. And they were called yellow.
Starting point is 01:28:26 One of the largest contract shippers in the U.S. is now gone, and you might have read about it or heard it spoken about in passing by the media. This is huge. If the nostalgia of the U.S. road trip appeals to you at all, you will recognize that yellow, has been among the largest over-the-road shipping companies in the U.S. forever. Been in business for 100 years. The CEO, as recently as 2022, touting the recovery from COVID as a reason to invest in the stock of the company, as a reason to have hope that we're not seeing an economic collapse. That same CEO in that company, Yellow, filed for bankruptcy protection this week.
Starting point is 01:29:15 citing a quote lower than expected volume and frequency shipping that was more than 25% lower than post-COVID volumes. Let that sink in here for a second. This is the real story. 25% lower volumes than expected from one of America's largest shipping volume giants. and yet we all seem to be comfortable. We all don't see this as anything that, oh yeah, that yellow truck's not going to be on the road anymore. You've got enough toilet paper at Walmart.
Starting point is 01:29:58 Farmers market seems to be full. You know, when I want barbecue brisket or ribs, I can get them. Sam Walton will always be there. One of the top four logistics providers, the truckers you see on the road just went out of business yellow van lines the third largest conglomeration in the u.s just declared bankruptcy offlaying they say 30,000 however there are 70,000 contract employees so 30,000 employees and 70,000 contract employees this is the third largest by volume mover in the world moving as much protein per day as the entire french government moves
Starting point is 01:30:52 per year let me say that again moving just protein alone moving as much protein per day as the entire french government moves every year yellow is gone the question isn't about the how or the why. The question is, what does this mean for you? What does this mean for a recovery for America? What does this mean? Are we even capable of recovering? Of course we are. But U.S. shipping is a signpost and one that just people just choose not to see. Oh, fewer trucks on the road. That's not a good thing. When you drive by in some parts of the country, mainly the, the middle part of the country out in the middle of nowhere, when you see miles of trains just parked, that's not a good thing.
Starting point is 01:32:06 When you see a signpost like this, the third largest shipper going out of business in America because there's 25% less shipping than excessive. expected, you need to take a look at your bank account. Is there a way to get ahead of all of this? Is a downturn in markets inevitable? Is what the government telling you true? Now, Yellow just went out of business. And because the government is erratic and doesn't seem to be interested really in a budget,
Starting point is 01:32:47 Fitch, the largest ratings agency. has just downgraded the United States of America our bonds for the second time. So you know that is something that when I said that would happen in 2008, they said that will never happen. They'll never downgrade the United States. Now we are on the verge of our third downgrading, the downgrading of our ratings, our bonds. Nobody's buying them, by the way.
Starting point is 01:33:23 It doesn't matter what we rate them, really, because we're just buying them ourselves and just printing money. It's the Fed that is buying it. And nobody seems to be worried about that. That is something that I was told in 2008, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, that that would never happen. The Fed will never buy our bonds and be the only buyer. Because I said, nobody's going to buy our stuff. Why would you, why would you take on debt when it looks like the country isn't serious at all about its debt? That it just believes it can spend whatever it wants.
Starting point is 01:34:04 We have now embraced something that I wrote about in my last two books, Modern Monetary Theory. I go into it a bit in this one, Dark Future. But it is incredibly important for you to understand. We have just completely changed everything we have. ever believed known or learned about monetary policy that you cannot print money endlessly and have your your dollar or your currency remain whole just doesn't happen inflation will grow and grow out of control well Fitch knows this Jenna Yellen was shocked what what are you talking about what do you mean we're not
Starting point is 01:34:53 serious. Of course we're serious. And they try to make this into, well, you know, the government keeps having a battle with itself. You know, are we going to, are we going to cover the debt or not cover the debt? Whose fault is that? It's not the Republicans. It's the Democrats. Because we don't default on the debt. We're not going to default on the debt. Someday we will because of all of our spending. But it's not today or not tomorrow. The federal government just prioritizes bills the way you prioritize bills. But instead of doing all of this, they have this big fight back and forth. We're going to default on the debt. That is not going to happen. That spooks investors. Fitch says you're not serious about budgeting and you keep threatening that you're going to default on
Starting point is 01:35:44 the debt. So we have to downgrade you because people are losing their trust. And so are we. We don't know if you're going to pay that debt or not. Well, we're clearly not. because there's no way to ever pay for the biggest pile of cash and IOUs the world has ever seen by far. And what did we get for it? Seriously. Can I ask you, do you own gold? Do you own silver? Do you own ammunition? How you doing with God? You know, there are three commodities that are very important, food, water, and ammo. The government is trying to control ammo. the government is trying to control food, what you eat, how you eat, how it's grown, where you buy it, and water. They're now claiming they have complete control over mud puddles on your property.
Starting point is 01:36:40 If you own property, that is if the, what was it, Bank of America or City Group, the CEO came out and said, we need to just start using eminent domain and take people's property because of global warming. you may not own the mud puddle. You may not own any of the water that you can pump out of the ground on your own land. But you may not be able to even keep your own land. Those are the three commodities that you need, food, water, and ammo. Because when things break down and the cop can't get there in time, who's going to protect your family?
Starting point is 01:37:17 That is your right and your responsibility to do that. You have to do that yourself. because nobody else will. By the way, did you hear that Chicago, is it Chicago? I believe it's Chicago. The experts are now saying, hey, that's not a good idea. You shouldn't just take all of your bail and just dump it. I think it's Illinois that now says, no more bail.
Starting point is 01:37:49 Well, what's going to happen when you release all of these people? What's going to happen? You know what's going to happen. So do you have one of the commodities? Do you have food, water, or what's the other one that you might need? Ammo. But they want to take your right away from being able to protect yourself at the same time. They're not saying, hey, you don't need that gun because we're going to protect you because
Starting point is 01:38:10 everything is safe. They're saying that you can't have that gun. Why? Because you shouldn't have that right. You might hurt somebody at a time when crime and control of the streets is really. running wildly out of control. Hmm. Next time you're at a road stop, ask the guy.
Starting point is 01:38:39 He doesn't know how to tell you. He probably has several rounds under his seat. He's got a gun loaded in there someplace because he knows. Funny thing at the truck stop, you don't doubt any of this. In fact, you're kind of jealous. He's ready to do battle. You're not.
Starting point is 01:38:58 wife, kids, job that pays the bill, and yet you envy his freedom. Well, he doesn't have freedom any more than you do. In fact, you probably have more freedom. He is a slave to the road. Ask a trucker. That's a hard-ass job. You don't want it. But the boat show goes on.
Starting point is 01:39:22 It defines the U.S. economy. You can literally see the yellow van lines bankruptcy and see that as a U.S. shipping or, you know, just the U.S. itself, we can just ignore it. Second largest shipping company in the U.S. goes belly up. Third one, uh, notice, notice, notice these things. Our world is changing. What do you own? Food? Gold, silver, a garden of tomatoes and carrots, that's great.
Starting point is 01:39:59 Great. Do you own your own backyard? Grow it with more than grass. Herbs, fine. Vegetables? Great. Are you resilient? If the grocery store visit can't provide, can you? If the trucks can't pull in, what is it that you are taking for granted? Oh, it will always be this way. It has never been this way. And it's a blip in history. We're an aberration.
Starting point is 01:40:31 We're just something that people, a fluke, really, in the, in the history of man, this kind of freedom and this abundance is an absolute fluke. We didn't have it 70 years ago. Notice these things because they're coming faster and faster. Goldline is our sponsor. I mean, is there a better time to talk about Goldline? Diversify, diversify, diversify. I talked to somebody who is involved with some of the biggest investing of private individuals, probably in the world. We were having a conversation the other day.
Starting point is 01:41:13 And I said, you know, what are people doing? And he said, they don't really know what to do. He said, people just are buying things. They're buying objects. They're buying land. They don't trust the dollar. They're buying gold. Gold is so discredited by everybody, but those are the same people that said we could never lose our credit rating status from AAA.
Starting point is 01:41:39 You need to do your own homework, but I will tell you that when a government gets serious about raising interest rates and making, you know, bringing inflation under control, they raise interest rates and gold goes down. This time, no, they're raising interest rates and gold is still holding its own or going up. Why? Because the shrewd people know this is a game. This is a game. Please do yourself and your family favor and at least call Goldline and find out how you can become economically defensive. This week, Goldline has a special offer on their historic $5 gold liberty and Indian head coins with every tube or box of 20 of the $5 gold Liberty and Indian head coins. you acquire, you'll receive five of the one-ounce silver gold line bars absolutely free. Don't get caught with your pants down. That's something Hunter Biden does, not you. Make sure you are protected with gold or silver at Goldline. 866 Goldline.
Starting point is 01:42:47 They're waiting for your call now. 866 Goldline or Goldline.com. 10 seconds. Station ID. Wow, Stu. Just got this in. Science. Science.
Starting point is 01:43:06 Both men and women who are vegetarian. 50% greater risk of suffering a hip fracture compared to people who regularly eat meat. I just want to throw that in. I did fracture a hip this weekend too. Did you? You're going to, I mean, I'm telling you. And it will probably happen when you least expect it. Like when you're old and you fall in the shower,
Starting point is 01:43:28 you'll be like, damn those vegetables. And then Joe Biden will say, why are you making fun of me again? And you're like, you're not that kind of vegetable. I was talking about my hip. Help, I can't get up. That's what's going to happen because you eat apples. How old will he be then? Hmm?
Starting point is 01:43:48 How old will Joe Biden be? He won't be old at all. He won't be old at all. He'll still be in office, you know, just with Vim and Vigor. Yeah. And I don't know who Vim or Vigor is, but he'll be there with him. This is why the left is now photoshopping photos of Biden to make him look more, uh, more virile.
Starting point is 01:44:07 Veral. Yeah, I suppose. is seriously what they're trying to do, which is really disturbing. He's been taking his shirt off a lot, too. You notice of that? I don't know if he's... Yeah, he needs to be on a horse like Vladimir Putin,
Starting point is 01:44:20 and we can all understand what a strong leader he is. Does he know that his shirt is off? Or are they like, oh, no, Mr. President, you're wearing a suit right now. I am. Yeah, oh, yeah. You look sharp in it. You don't have the emperor's new clothes
Starting point is 01:44:37 when they were naked, and everybody was afraid to tell him he was naked. This one, everybody's telling him he's not naked, and he thinks he is, but he's like, okay, well, they're saying I'm not naked, so I guess I'm okay. Look, I mean, he's just, it can be a hard job to be president. And as we've heard, not only president, but also weatherman, and where he has to call up his son all the time and tell him what the weather is.
Starting point is 01:45:03 So there's a lot going on in the Biden world. and to have to grieve at emergency meetings of, you know, corporations that are about to go out of business without his help, having to call his son and he's grieving, just wants to grieve with his son. And then he's like, hey, you know, they need something from you, dad. Can you provide that illusion for us now? Well, Glenn, it's long been known that he's been doing these things
Starting point is 01:45:30 with Hunter Biden's business associates. So don't worry about it. long known, long known. Thank you, New York Times. I didn't think you knew that. Relief Factor. John wrote in recently about his experience with Relief Factory. He says, I used Relief Factor for about six months now, and I was highly skeptical at first. I put off trying it until my brother loaned me a few days' worth since he had found it effective. I was pleasantly surprised. I benefited every day as Relief Factor reduced my constant back pain, which came from years of injuries. and aging.
Starting point is 01:46:06 I don't know if it helps everybody, but it helps me. John, thank you for writing in. I was skeptical as well. 70% of the people who try it go on to order more month after month. Now, that shows you it doesn't work for everybody, but that's why they come out and say, just try it for three weeks. Take it as directed. Try it for three weeks and see if it doesn't start to make a difference in your pain level.
Starting point is 01:46:30 It did mine. So just try it. You got only, you know, it's 20 bucks that you lose. But if it does work, if you're part of that 70%, your life, you get it back. Relieffactor.com, 800 for relief. 800, the number four relief, relief, relief factor.com. Don't miss Dark Future by Glenn Beck. Uncovering the Great Resets, terrifying next phase, available wherever you get your books.
Starting point is 01:46:56 This is amazing. There's a Super Cup now of the media that I want to play here in a second, but I want you to remember, this is exactly what I told you happened during the Lewinsky scandal. First, they said he didn't do it. He didn't do it. We argued back and forth. Yes, he did. No, he didn't. No, he didn't. And then when we got to, oh, here's the evidence. People said, it didn't matter. And that's pretty much what we're hearing now. Listen to the media dismissing Devin Archer's testimony this week. Joe Biden did nothing, nothing, not even approximating improper, much less wrong or illegal. It's wishful thinking. They're trying to create a scandal.
Starting point is 01:47:44 They get pretty clear, at least so far, there is nothing there. House Republicans continue their search for any proof at all tying President Joe Biden to his son, Hunter's business dealings. Joe Biden had nothing to do with Hunter Biden's business dealings. Because they want to, they want to dirty up Biden's name. Do you know, Republicans have been trying to use Hunter Biden's behavior against the president. Did not know about anything that Hunter Biden was doing. Seine of Biden was simply involved in his son's life in a personal capacity. Republicans from consistently trying to make this argument and create the illusion of some malfeasance being there. Spoke to business associates of Hunter Biden to say hello to have small talk, casual conversation.
Starting point is 01:48:31 Hunter Biden talked to his dad on the phone all the time. They talked basically every day. Sometimes Joe Biden would say hello to the people in the room if he popped in. or on the phone or whatever. It was all casual conversation, niceties, the weather. They never discussed the business. These were more of just cordial, hello types of conversations. Business was never discussed on those calls,
Starting point is 01:48:52 and that was more casual sort of check-ins, casual conversations. President Biden might have said, hey, quit putting me on speakerphone. You know, are you having a business meeting? What is that about? But do you hang up on your phone on your side? Yeah, if you're the president of the United States, and you have been warned by the State Department that this is highly irregular, and this is what was happening during the Obama administration,
Starting point is 01:49:22 and the Obama administration completely dismissed it. They were getting warnings from all of their legal departments at the State Department and elsewhere saying, he's involved in this bad stuff, and the president can't... So the president was briefed. Now the president was speaking. speaking to his son every day, but he had no idea what his son was doing. As a parent, do you believe that could happen to you? Do you believe that your son could be peddling and dealing in your name and selling influence that is imagined?
Starting point is 01:50:03 Okay. And you had no idea when you are the second most powerful man in the country where you have Secret Service with your son and with you, that you would have no idea that your son is doing dirty business with oligarchs and that he calls you during those dinners to introduce you. But that's who you're on the phone with, sir. We were there. Secret Service was there. These people are oligarchs very, very bad.
Starting point is 01:50:34 They're dirty businessmen. You know, nothing's going on, I'm sure, with you. but you have to know that's who you spoke to. We know because the State Department wrote to the vice presidential office and said, this is really bad. Don't do this. So they dismiss all of that. But what they're doing now is they're saying, well, he was just, he was mourning his son.
Starting point is 01:51:02 Listen to this from MSNBC. Listen, cut six. As far as Hunter Biden goes, there's no doubt. I mean, it's pretty clear even those close to the Biden family suggest that some of his behavior is pretty unseemly. It doesn't make it illegal. And it also means we don't know the role that then Vice President Biden may have played. And it seems like, no, they haven't proven that he had any to do with it. They haven't proved that he profited from this at all.
Starting point is 01:51:28 Yet maybe he is guilty of turning a blind eye to some of his son's behavior. And we should put this in context. this is a time when Bo Biden, the president's other son, was ill and then dying and then passed away. So perhaps he was not as attentive to what he should have been here. But again, there has simply been no evidence, Gene Robbins. There's no evidence at all that he was profiting from this. Okay. You're a jurist, and let me just ask, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, we now have evidence from the business partner and others that Joe Hunter Biden was
Starting point is 01:52:04 called to an emergency meeting in Dubai because Burisma was being investigated by Victor Shokin. Victor Shokin was the state prosecutor and he was looking into corruption. As testimony points out, if the Biden, what did they call it, uh, brand was not a part of this, that, uh, Boresema would have gone out of business and all of these guys would have lost their money. But it was the Hunter brand that saved it. Now, he was called to this emergency meeting, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, with all of the oligarchs from Burisma. They were telling him this and telling him that he had to call his father for the brand to take care of it. He then does.
Starting point is 01:52:57 now the defense would have you believe that he calls them during that very important emergency meeting where tensions were high and he just said hello to his father introduced everyone to them to him on the phone but nothing was said except i miss my brother i know i lost my son the weather here is fine in dc we'll talk later son and the business partners that were paying a guy who didn't speak Russian, didn't speak Ukrainian, did not know anything about the oil and gas business. He was specifically called because the brand was supposed to take care of things like Victor Shokin. But nothing happened until five days later, Joe Biden goes and withholds one billion dollars worth of aid from the United States government unless they fire Victor Shokin. And then he comes out and he brags about it. Listen. I'm desperately concerned about the backsliding on the part of Kiev in terms of corruption. They made, I mean, I'll give you one concrete example. I was not I, I, but it just happened to be
Starting point is 01:54:20 that was the assignment I got. I got all the good ones. And so I got Ukraine. And And I remember going over convincing our team, or others to convincing that we should be providing for loan guarantees. And I went over, I guess, the 12th, 13th time to Keeve, and I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yotsenuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor, and they didn't. So they said they were walking out to press conference. I said, no, I said, I'm not going to, we're not going to give you the billion dollars. They said, you have no authority. You're not the president.
Starting point is 01:55:04 The president said, I said, call him. I said, I'm telling you, you're not getting the billion dollars. I said, you're not getting the billion. I'm going to be leaving here. And I think it was, what, six hours? I look at, I said, I'm leaving it six hours. If the prosecutor's not fired, you're not getting the money. Oh, son of a bit, you got fired.
Starting point is 01:55:22 And they put in place someone who was, solid at the time. Okay, stop. This was someone solid at the time, somebody who would not investigate Burisma. That ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you are asked to believe was a complete coincidence. Complete. By the way, you know what I will believe that Joe Biden has actually accepted his granddaughter, Hunter's illegitimate child when I believe that he's accepted her as part of the family is when they set up a shell corporation for her in her name.
Starting point is 01:56:04 That's when I believe she's part of the family. They do keep saying this where they're like, oh, well, there's no evidence that he profited at all from any of this. It's like, well, what are all these bank records with millions of dollars being transferred to shell companies in names of random Biden family members that didn't have anything to do with these businesses. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:56:26 Okay, like, I, how do you explain that? How do you explain it? Like, come up with something. Can you at least try to explain it? Can you try to explain the WhatsApp message where he's saying he's in their same room with his father and we're holding a grudge against you
Starting point is 01:56:39 and you and we are going to make your life a living hell if you don't get this payment to come through right now? Can you at least come up? with some way of trying to explain that? I mean, there are sort of, the media is sort of taking this road of, well, it was Hunter and he was bad, and he was selling the illusion of,
Starting point is 01:57:01 of some sort of influence from his dad, and it wasn't real. But like, why don't we have the actual administration saying that's what happened? Why is it the media carrying that water? Why isn't the, why isn't Joe Biden required to come out and say, yes, this was my son doing this terrible, terrible thing, and he's really,
Starting point is 01:57:23 really bad. And, you know, we're not going to invite him to the next state dinner. So maybe he shouldn't be in the room with those people next time. Uh-huh. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I would just like to ask you this question. The media is now saying, yes, what Hunter Biden did was bad and possibly even illegal. It was illegal. He was not a registered for an agent, and yet he was acting as one, meaning represent. representing people in foreign countries and doing business for them in the United States on their behalf.
Starting point is 01:57:56 He was never registered. That's against the law. Okay. Can't do it. He also was doing something very nefarious. Let's say he was doing on his own. His father had no idea. He was trading on the Biden family name and selling the brand. This is now accepted by people in the media. It was the brand. He was selling the brand, but the president didn't have anything to do with it. Okay, let's take that at face value as it's absolutely true. Why hasn't the president come out and said that? Why hasn't the president come out and said, look, it's important that you know if your president is a crook or not. Well, I'm not a crook. My son, I found out, while I was grieving my son, my other son is trading on me. my name, making it look like I would provide deals. You know, my son is very troubled. He has had a very difficult time with drugs. He was out of control, but I am not going to stand in the way of his prosecution if that's what people believe. But I want you to know. I'm shocked and horrified by what my son did. But I had nothing to do with it. He's not doing that. Why? Why? Why is the media doing that? but they're not insisting that the president should do that.
Starting point is 01:59:18 His whole thing for the last five years has been to lie over and over again to the media. My son did nothing wrong. Well, we now know, and it's pretty well accepted, that he was trading on the Biden name. That is wrong. He was acting as a foreign agent without being registered. That's illegal. Why won't the president come out and say? that. Yeah, and like, I can
Starting point is 01:59:48 certainly understand why the president doesn't want to come out and say that. I totally get it because it makes him look illegal like he broke the law and his family is in turmoil and his son should obviously go to prison. I get why he
Starting point is 02:00:04 wouldn't want to say that, but I don't get why the media isn't requiring him to come out and say it. They certainly would do this if it was anyone else. Any Republican would be required. They would be He pestered every time he walked in front of a camera. He would be asked to say that exact thing.
Starting point is 02:00:21 And they're not doing that at all. They're not, they're not, he needs to say those things. He needs to come out and say those things. And he's not, of course we understand why Joe Biden is trying to avoid that. But like if we had a media with any, any, any reasonable integrity and, and attachment to journalistic principles, this is all they'd be focused on right now. And yet they keep falling for the same trick, Glenn, that you've outlined multiple times today. The day after this stuff comes out, they do something like indict Donald Trump.
Starting point is 02:00:54 And now the entire media is on that bandwagon instead of the one they should be looking at. Our sponsor this half hour is Legacy Box. Starting point is 02:03:15 Telecharge it right right now. We're just talking about what a bad dad Joe Biden has to be for this story to be true. His son is working at an oil and gas company, has no experience. He is put on the phone with the head guy of Burisma who literally beheads his competition. Literally, he is one of the worst oligarchs in Ukraine. His father is on his 13th trip.
Starting point is 02:03:48 his job is to root out corruption he knows who this guy is and his son calls him up and says hey dad i'm here with uh you know the guy who beheads people that i know you know his name uh i just wanted to say hi for joe biden not to say son you should not be working with these people son do you know what you're doing son don't ever ever put me in the situation where you're calling you're calling you're and that guy is on the other end of the phone. I'm opposed to that guy. He's a criminal. This shows that there's no love in that family.
Starting point is 02:04:29 This family is a crime family. At best, at best, their loyalty is to each other because they're all involved. It's bad. No father would ever act like that. The Glenn Back Program.
