I mean, if you watched anything from UFC this weekend, You saw some, I don't know if anybody noticed this, but also if you're watching football, the president, President Trump and Maga is suddenly cool. I mean, you know, less than $100. Oh, wow. But you were so far, the nosebleeds, like, what am I doing? I might as well just watch it on TV. Although, I guess that was a little challenging as well as we saw with Netflix. I found that really disappointing. First of all, any guy who walks out with pearls and diamonds sewed to his, you know, to his boxing

short is somebody that just needs to get. clipped by Mike Tyson. Million dollar shorts. You don't think that was, you don't think that was. No, I don't think that was. Legitimately million dollar shorts. Yeah, I know. I know.

Yeah, I, I find it, can I say one quick thing about that? Because I grew up like, loving Tyson. Like, that was my era. Like, you know, I loved Rocky movies. Until the rape, I'm assuming. Well, yeah.

And I feel like people forgot. Again, I understand that he denies that. He says, he says, I think his quote is basically like, something like, I didn't do that, but I did so many other things were probably even with all the jail time. So, okay, whatever, we'll take him. We take him as, at his word, maybe that he's reformed or whatever, but like, this is a convicted rapist. And everyone's like, this damn influencer!

I don't care. We're talking about what he does for a living. You might not care. I'm just no, like, I, I sense the hatred toward this guy from everybody, and it's like, I just didn't like, I just didn't like, I just didn't like, I didn't like, I didn't like, it's like, you know, it's like, it's like, it's like, you know, oh God, don't get me started on that. Yeah.

Because it's, it's just, it's, it's, it's, it's, Tyson wanted 20 million dollars. I don't feel that bad for him. He did it in, he did it. No, he did it. He wanted it, but. And I, anyway. And I will say, like, Jake. Paul's beaten some fighters that are younger and, you know, MMA, like, MMA stars.

He's beaten. It's funny. I didn't know what to think. And I said this the other night. And then we got closer to the fight and I was watching some of the highlights of Jake Paul actually hitting people. And then I thought how I feel when I try to get out of my car after a workout. And I was like, I'm sorry. Add 10 years to me, there's no way he's beating a 27-year-old that can actually throw punches.

No. I went from having no idea what was going to happen to being fully convinced unless it was fixed. But Jay Paul, he has fought people that are not, you know, that are his age. They cream him. No, that's not true at all. This is what got won me over because I watched some of the highlights of him. He's, first of all, beaten like a bunch of people like legit MMA fighters in boxing, right? So it's a different sport.

But still, if you're putting, I mean, some of his knockout. he is dropping them. The guy can hit. I'm sorry. And the only fight he lost was against a boxer, which he lost in a close decision. And he was very competitive and drilled the guy a bunch of times. So I don't know.

I'm not saying he's a great boxer. But like, I think you would say, hey, this guy is a competitive boxer in his prime going up against a guy who's 60 almost. I'm sorry, there's just no way. And of course that is wound up happening. Though I will say what you're what you're what you're what you're what you alluded to earlier was the word I don't I'm I know this is sexist like sometimes you just can admit your sexism am I a sexist? Yes, here's how. I don't want to see women get punched in the face.

No, you know what? It's not sexism. You're being chivalrous. It is because I liked watching the mailboxers go at it. I don't like it. I don't care if it's sexist. You can call it chivalrous. But I don't have a problem if two women

are in the ring. I do. Yeah, I know you do. But when it's a guy who claims to be a woman, then I'm really. I'm smoked. I'm really smoked. I'm really smoked. I don't know if you saw when Trump entered Madison Square Garden, he brought the whole posse with him. Oh, yeah? Cut 31. Gentlemen, look, who is now making his way to the world famous Octagon by UFC CEO, Dana White, 45, soon to be 47. But look who's behind him.

That Musk. It's hard to see. That's Musk. That's Johnson. The vague is in that. Tulsi Gabbard is in that. He apparently was in Washington. It's like, hey, everybody gets on the plane.

We're going to go. Or wherever we went. Washington or Florida. Florida. That's funny because when I was watching Tyson highlights leading up to the fight on Friday, this is the same thing that used to happen in the 1980s. Tyson would be walking in with his same response. It was exactly the same as 1986.

Yeah. but now it's shocking, I guess. But I mean, other than a campaign event, it would be stunning to see Donald Trump get this, this reception to, I think, most of people in the media at Madison's Garden. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, this was another, this was just,

this was a disguised Nazi rally. Oh, okay. That's why they welcomed him like that. There he is hugging Joe Rogan. I mean, it is. Oh, okay. And then let me show you after, you had, where is it?

Here, John Jones gives, it's 26. It was nuts. It was absolutely nuts. Everybody was a Trump supporter. Everybody seemed to be a Trump supporter. Yeah. I mean, it was really bizarre. And then did you see the people,

do I have anything from any of the touchdowns from this weekend? Like people were making touch. touchdowns this weekend. They're doing the Trump dance. Yeah, I saw that from a few people. Yeah. Yeah.

I mean, play, uh, here, play right after the fight, cut 25. Like a light heavy weight. And I think that's the 235 pound weight. Doing the, doing the Trump dance. It was everywhere. Gang, I don't know what happened, but like Donald Trump is cool. I mean, he's, Donald Trump has always been cool. It was, there was.

Up until 2015-16, and then it was denied for many years. And now it seems to be back. Right. Right. This is the norm of American society. This is who he used to be. I can't believe this guy has turned this corner so hard that he's back to the guy who is in home alone. You know what I mean?

Yeah. No, that makes sense. It's not. It's so crazy that Joe and Mika. Oh, yeah. Are flying down to meet with him to try to restore their... No. Yes.

No, they are not. Yes, they are. They were just calling him fascist every day for two years. I know. I know. Now they're going to try to repair the relationship. They're going to try to repair the relationship. This is the type of stuff that Trump loves.

Like, he loves people groveling like that. That is going to be adorable. I can't wait for that one. There will be some interesting tweets. I will say afterward. That's a, it's interesting. Let me ask you this. I was tossing this around with a friend of mine this weekend.

And we were talking about how, like, this sort of phenomenon, right? Where people in sports are doing this and it's become kind of cool, as you know. And I was trying to understand it's like, is it a Donald Trump thing where people are just like, maybe they've always thought he was cool and kind of were hiding it. And now they're kind of coming out of hiding, which I think is a plausible explanation. The other one, too, I think now the Trump movement generally, Maga, let's call it. generally is just associated with like we don't want to ruin your fun life right like the left is now associated with you can't say this can you imagine being in college in this environment

like where you're joking you're bust on on everyone you're calling them all these you know you're calling them terrible names you're saying terrible things about him you're laughing about it right like you you're you're saying bad things about people that you don't like and you think it's funny and like you're making offensive jokes. You're a rebel. All those things. You're a rebel. Right.

The left now says if you do any of that stuff, you're cancelled. Right. Like when we see a clip of a guy playing volleyball and spiking a ball into a woman's face and she's injured, you are now canceled for criticizing that. Like, just generally associated with all of this has to be this idea that like you're taking away common sense. It's not even like, hey, I agree with his tax policy or his border policy. I mean, I think that's involved in it.

Vivek Ramoswamy, not a conservative. Yeah. I mean, close. He was a libertarian. Yeah, but I mean, he's not a, yeah, he's more of a recent conjure, if you would. So that's the pack. That's the rat pack. Okay.

And that's cool and everything. And I want those kids at the table. Sure. With the cool kid. Sure. But I want to make sure that the cool kid doesn't forget his friends at the other table. You know, the average American working person that's like, yeah. I'm, I'm, I'm not for you banning meat if RFK wants you to do that.

You know what I mean? I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm not, I'm not for, you know, universal basic income. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm not for some of the robots taking over the world. Are we, are we still, are we, we're still good, right? We're still good. I have concerns as well on some of this because, I mean, first of all, I, like, it's a much better approach if you're a Democrat, right, to befriend Donald Trump and, you know, support him and then try to get these things through. I will say, can we, can we, can we, how about no more

lifelong Democrats appointed to big positions? I'm not saying these people are bad. They might be great, but let's just cap it. Can we cap it? Can we cap it? Can we cap it? What are we at now? Well, I want to cap it with, I mean, just because you're a lifelong Republican doesn't make me happy. It does. You're right. You're totally right. I, I, I, I, I totally agree with you on that. I'm not saying every lifelong Republicans, okay. What I'm saying is like, you're looking a little bit for a needle in a haystack

to find a person who for 50 years supported far-left ideology and changed last week, and now they have a major position. I'm not saying you can't find the needle in a haystack, but like I'm getting concerned we're looking for too many needles. Okay, so now wait a minute, hang on just a second. Now let me flip this on you. We're looking for disruptors. Okay. Tulsi Gabbard was a disruptor in the Democratic Party.

She was the one, she didn't believe this. She was the one who went, you know what? You guys are crazy. And you're coming after me and you're using all the things against me that the Republicans say you use against them and I never believed them. But I'm seeing you do it to me right now. Same thing with RFK. They wanted to disrupt the party. They're disruptors first.

that's what we voted for. We voted for a disruptor of this system. But you and I know thousands of conservative disruptors. We know thousands of them. Yeah, but not necessarily those that would, you could get a group of them walk into Madison Square Garden and everybody go. I agree. Wow.

No, you're right. I mean, Mike Johnson is certainly no cold kid. No, he's not. No, he was the odd man out. Is that guy security? Does he makes me feel good? Is a security's accountant? What's that guy doing?

McConnell. And McConnell is is maybe now going to ride as a dark horse. And so you would have five votes against the Republicans if Thune and McConnell joined the other three. Because I got the impression. Can you correct me if you think I'm analyzing this wrong? But like I got the impression, Donald Trump, when they were going through that Senate leadership fight, was like, look, I won't come out and say Rick Scott's name if you give me my recess appointments. That's just, I might be oversimplifying that.

but like obviously Scott was the pick. He never came, but Trump never came out and endorsed. He's like, look, I'll stay out of this. I guarantee you that deal was done. I can't guarantee it,

but I don't know. Yeah, that deal happened. And the way the picks came out was interesting because you got Marco Rubio. And then he's like, hey, John, what do you think about these recess appointments?

And then the second he said yes to that and got this gig, it's like, Matt Gates, RFK Jr. Like he started rattling off all the people you knew Thune wouldn't vote for. Right.

So. And Thune is, come out this weekend and said there has to be, we have to have the usual Senate procedures. That's interesting. So maybe that wasn't, maybe that was wrong because I really don't understand not endorsing Rick Scott then, right? Like, it doesn't make any sense to me. It could be that Thune is just, you know, just got the job, but now he's lying. I don't know. It's fascinating, but I think you're right. Like, I think there's some of these appointments are going to have real trouble if it goes through normal process. And you know what's weird is CNN who, who,

used to love RFK, now hates RFK, is trying to call us a hypocrite. Me in particular, on RFK. This is what CNN, they went into the old archive and they... At their own network where you were on the air? No, it's Fox. But I was. They should have gone in their own archive. The first show you ever did had an interview about this topic. Yes. About... About basically you are eating fast food on the air while talking to an author of a book who hated it. They cut it because they're like, we can't have one of our house do that. And I'm like, they cut it down. We got some of it.

Wait a little bit. We fought. Okay. So here's what CNN played as a flashback about my hypocrisy. Ready? When I heard this, I thought, get your damn hands off my fries, lady. If I want to be a fat, fat, fat, and shoveled French fries all day long, that is my choice. Okay.

I still stand by that. We know there's no change. We can see. There's no change. Wait a minute. There's no change whatsoever. If I want to be a fat, fat, fat, fatty, it is my right to be able to choose what I want. Don't try to, don't try to trick me into, you know, wait, I didn't know you had fries.

Oh, they're in the back. Don't, don't, don't. Don't manipulate me. So you're not Michelle Obama, let's move. You're not Michael Bloomberg banned 32-ounce sodas. You're not, you know, Mike Huckabee. He was another one who was doing that on the report. Republican side. You know what I am? I surprisingly use is the calorie counter on the menus.

Yeah. It is a useful tool. Again, should the government be implementing it? No. No, but it tells you what food tastes better than the other food. Right. Exactly. It's literally right. As a thousand calories as opposed to 400. I'm going with the thousand calories. Because you know it tastes better. It's like a tastometer. Right. Right. Right. Yeah. So, I mean, you know, they're talking now about fluoride in the water. Raise your hand if you care about fluoride in the water. Okay. I'm not raising my hand. I care about having the choice whether I should have fluoride in the water. That's not the question.

Okay. Okay. The question is, are you worried about the fluoride in your water? Not really. Not really. Not really. Okay. So do I know that fluoride is safe for the water? No.

No, I don't have any idea. Based on everything else's government is. done probably it's probably cyanide i have no idea okay uh so here's what i'm for putting in the water water and if you want to add fluoride you can add fluoride you could get it you know this was this was you know this was turn of the century kind of stuff when everybody's head was you know full of rotted teeth because nobody brushed their teeth. You can get all the fluoride you want now in crest or whatever you'd use. Right.

Toothpaste. You can use that. The problem was it wasn't that there was no fluoride. People weren't using toothpaste because they weren't using toothbrushes because they weren't brushing their teeth. That's the problem. Right. And you can understand that policy at that point, whether it was right or wrong even then.

Who knows? But like you can understand why they did it back then. I feel like people have toothpaste now. It's just not a huge concern for me, honestly, either way. But I feel like people have toothpaste and access to it. And if you need more fluoride, just use toothpaste as a topping for your ice cream. Just put it in another. If you don't have a problem with it, you want more of it, go ahead.

Yeah, you put as much as you want. You can eat toothpaste by the tube. Keeping in mind, it is somewhat toxic. There are levels. If you squeeze the whole tube and you're eating the tube, it might not be good for it. It's not good for you. At certain doses, so is water. Right, right.

Exactly. So, like, again, it's all about the dose. And, and, like, I guess what? It's just, it's just one of those things that, like, becomes this big issue. And, uh, I don't know. Like, I, for me, I don't really care about it either way all that much. I know a lot of people are and do really care. Um, but again, I think having choice is great.

Like, you should be able to choose whether you have it or not. And toothpaste is an easy delivery system for that choice. It feels like to me. Um, when it comes to this other stuff, I am concerned. I am concerned. I am concerned. I don't want to turn into. that Michelle Obama let's move party.

That was what I think you were criticizing in that clip. It is. It was about Michelle Obama. Get your hands off my French fries lady. You know, but that's fine. I just don't want things mandated to me. I would like to know, you know, wait a minute, hang on just a second. And it's because it's just like everything else with the government.

We didn't pay attention. There are things that are maybe not the healthiest in our food. if it is poison at any level, we should probably not have that added to our food. Okay? And I have no problem with that. And I don't have a problem if you want to put that in the food as long as there's a label on it.

You know, as long as you know what's in the food. And we're starting to educate ourselves. Can I ask you a question, though? Because I hear this part of the argument a lot, which is like, you know, they banned this in Canada and Europe and we're putting it in our food. Isn't that the right approach? Shouldn't Canada in Europe have more restrictive measures on the free market than we do?

Isn't that kind of like how, like normal? Isn't that what we should want as conservatives? In fruit loops they use for orange, they just use. Oh my God, the fruit loops. I know, I know, I know, I know. There are not three ingredients in fruit loops in Canada. That is not. even remotely close to true.

As we're talking about the dye, okay? Yes. You're using yellow or orange. They get it from carrots. Why aren't we doing that instead of some chemical byproduct? Okay. So that's a good art. The reason why, right, is because it probably costs fruit loops less money.

That's why they're doing it. And the reason they're not doing it in Canada, which there are a couple of these colorings that are slightly different, right? They come from different sources, natural sources. The reason they're doing in Canada is because Canadian government has told them they have to. That is the difference. So fruit loops. So the government is making the decision and not fruit loops. Now, of course, there's another layer of this decision, which is us, whether we decide to eat fruit loops or not. Okay? And I don't think any of us are coming to the table

being like, I think the most healthy food. It's fruit. It's got fruit. Even though they spelled it, F-R-O-O-T, it's got fruit in the title, must be healthy. You make that. And I think the conservative approach to this is to say, we make the choice whether we eat fruit loops or not. We all can look at the label we can choose. And you know what? In many circumstances, a lot of these companies have come up with alternate different, you know, alternate things. Like the Simply Cheetos, for example.

Now, do I believe there's any difference in the health quotient of simply Cheetos with white cheese dust and orange regular Cheetos? I don't think there's any difference at all, but you get to choose whether you think those are better. That to me is a much more consistent conservative approach rather than begging for Canadian and European-style regulations. I think that's a terrible approach. And I'm concerned that we could go down the wrong roads. Here's my approach.

Abolished the FDA. I mean, I am much closer to that position. But like, if you abolish the FDA, what you get is the free market. Exactly right. Right. That's not, I don't think RFK Jr. would say that's exactly. right? Probably not because he wants he as well wants all kinds of

guardrails. Yeah. I want the free market to work and you know if fruit loops you know if you started getting cancer because and the doctor's all like you know I think it's the orange fruit loop you know it's not the red one or the red one it's just the orange fruit loop. You know I think that would stop in the free market that would stop. It would stop. And we see that, of course, especially if you had the press going the way they used to

and the government going the way it used to. You used to, if you had a problem, if a company was screwing you, you would go to the press. And the press wasn't in bed with the giant corporation and the government. So the press would say, hey, there's this consumer here and here and here

that have been royally screwed. They're riddled with cancer, and they're saying it's the orange fruit loop. when we've looked at studies and see that maybe General Mills knew that that orange one was bad, but they're making, they're making money because they also produce the chemotherapy drugs. That's when the government would come in and pound them into sand. And that's a really egregious example that you created intentionally egregious, right?

And that's where I feel like our guardrails should be as Americans. Right. Right. Like if we're Europeans don't put their guardrails there. They ban everything. The second they think anything at any time anyone complains about it. I don't want that. Except for drugs. It's so weird. Except for pharmaceuticals. They are so far ahead of us in their drugs that you cannot get here that you can. When it, you know, your trial, you know, people go over for experimental stuff over in in Europe all the time. And Trump did did help fix a lot of that. Yeah, he did. Which again, I think it's where you fall back to on a lot of this stuff, right? Like Trump, if it's something he cares about, which I think a lot of the stuff would be, he's not going to let RFK Jr. go crazy. He does. He cares about global warming. He says that's the biggest scam ever.

Right. He cares about that. I'll be shocked if RFK Jr. starts like, hey, global warming is a health crisis. I'm HHS. Health. Like the Democrats would do stuff like that. RFK Jr. Given free reign would do stuff like that.

Trump won't allow stuff like that. No. I don't worry about that. But I do worry about he's going to hire thousands of people. Are those people going to be ideological conservatives worried about the free market? Are they going to people that think a lot more like RFK Jr.? But Trump can't monitor every one of those hires. I know, but hopefully Trump has people to monitor all those hires.

I am really good. How are you feeling about, what's going on now in Washington. What's it feel like there? Well, I mean, thankfully, we haven't spent a whole lot of time here. America's better off until we get everybody in in January. Right. But we were up here for a couple days last week.

I mean, look, I'm feeling good. I'm feeling good about the direction of where the president is going with what I have described as disruptors as nominees, people who will challenge the status quo, take on the swamp, train the swamp, whatever language you want to use. People who get it. They want to change things from B. DeGF to Bobby Kennedy and everybody in between. But to be clear, I'm not saying I agree with all these people on every issue. Exactly right. Yep.

What we need is people who are going to rock the boat up here. You know, tell the corporatists and tell the big government bureaucrats, nope, it's a new day. We're going to start over and we're going to figure out how to get this right. So that's good. I think we've got a few little hiccups along the way, right? We need to make sure Congress, you know, I used the line last week. I'm all about unity.

I love being on a team. Love it. It feels great. There's nothing better than when you're on a team together and you get everything done together. But I'm on a team to win. I'm not on a team for the sake of it. So Republicans keep talking about unity in the house and all that. But then I see yesterday a few of my colleagues go on the airwaves and start walking back mass deportations,

start talking about how we're not going to do certain things. We're only going to focus on this over here. I've got another colleague over here chattering about lifting the stuff. salt cap saying nothing's going to move unless we get that salt tech, you know, cap lifted so that Yankee, Northeastern states that have high tax rates can get big federal subsidies for them. There are a lot of little things here. We're going to have to figure out how to square and get everybody on the same page to advance the Trump agenda. But things are moving in the right direction, but Congress is going to have to figure out how to get itself arranged to deliver.

So how do you feel about Mike Johnson now? I mean, the president seems to have endorsed him and embraced him. He was at the UFC fight with the president and Elon Musk and RFC and Tulsi on Friday night. So he looks like he's sitting at the cool kids table. How do you feel about him? Well, look, this is one of those things where, you know, over time, we're going to see what he does. And there's time between now on January 3rd. There's time between, you know, after that on how we're going to perform. But Mike's a friend. I like Mike a lot. We're talking, his team and I are talking. You know, we came to some resolution last week to get some of the moderates who were targeting conservatives with retribution amendments.

They were going to kick us off committees if we opposed rules and things like that. We got all those taken down. Unfortunately, it was kind of in a quick, hasty deal. And some of us agreed. Some of us didn't, but the motion to vacate was agreed to live from one to nine. The bottom line to all that is inside baseball. we've made some progress in unity, but I will say I was, I was a little concerned about what I heard yesterday out of the speaker, kind of walking back a little bit, the focus on deportations.

I think we need to just keep our foot on the gas. We need to identify the 10 things that we're going to deliver for the American people, and we've got to go do it. And we can't be doing any back, you know, stepping backward. We've got to unite for a purpose. I think we're getting closer to unity. I think Mike's doing a good job trying to pull us all together. genuinely believe that, getting us in a room to try to figure it out, but we still have work to do.

Okay, November, what is today, the 17th or 18th or 19th? Yeah, 18th. You know, the, is it the 19th? No, it's the 18th. You know, the thing that everybody in Congress needs to remember is the president that deported more people than anybody else, over 10 million people was Bill Clinton. You want to take 10 to 15 million people. that was already done. And most people don't even know that Bill Clinton did that. So please don't talk to me about, oh, well, we can't do that many. Yes, you can.

Bill Clinton did it back in the 90s. Well, go ahead, Congressman. Yeah, no. No, that's exactly right. I mean, look, I want to be very clear. Our starting place should be for any individuals who came here illegally or were released into the United States, illegally, illegitimately, by the Harris, Biden, Majorchish regime,

they need to be removed. They need to be deported. That is the starting place. I have no problem prioritizing criminals. Neither do you. I have no problem prioritizing people who came in here and got no papers at all. They just came in and were gotaways. No problem.

No problem going through and figuring out how to establish fees to pay for all this stuff, forced this all to a decision point. and figure out how we're going to proceed at the end of that rainbow. But we're going to move through this methodically and do the job that the American people sent us here to do. And that means deportations. And that means there's going to be some uncomfortable conversations. There's going to be some uncomfortable actions.

But we must deport. We've got a serious problem in this country with people that have been dumped into our country, undermining who we are as a country, undermining the rule of law, not just because they're criminals, not just because they might be terrorists, but because they've been dumped into a massive welfare state. Roll back the welfare state. Roll back all of the big government programs. Roll back all of the benefits that are provided to people.

They will go away. Support massive numbers of these. Then tell me who's left who want to achieve the American dream through hard work, not through handouts. Then I will, then I'll be saying, oh, like Milton Friedman, sure, I'm for open borders if you don't have a welfare state. That's not entirely true, but it's roughly correct. Yeah. What does this look like in real life? Because when I hear the media talk about mass deportations, they're describing a process where concentration camps.

Concentration camps where just trucks are just, you know, riding up into Hispanic communities and going house to house and searching. Like this happens without all that nonsense, right? I mean, this is, this is. Yeah. How does this work exactly, Chip? In front of the great guys like Tom Homan and others, former ICE directors, now the borders are, etc. I'm going to let them lay out their plans. What I would tell you is what you're going to do is you're going to make it to where there's going to be a lot of self-deportation, a lot of understanding of what's coming and people are going to get it and they're going to want to go.

But you're going to, yes, seek out the criminals using ICE enforcement internally, right? We've got a million people, by the way, one million who already have deportation orders and have not been deported. So find them. Can we start with them, right? Get them and release, you know, and deport them. Right. Let's go around and figure out when we do enforcement, interior enforcement, where you've got people, and they're in jails. Let's put pressure on sanctuary cities.

Start there. Anybody who doesn't have paperwork doesn't have a notice to appear, boom, release. Like, you're gone. So, or remove. So that's what I think we need to do. But I'm not going to get in front of the president in terms of the specific program. But let's be very clear. What the president's doing and putting Tom home in there as borders are, Brendan Carr at the FCC.

Amen. Kennedy. These are all great. folks, Brendan Carr is going to come in and do what the Biden regime wouldn't do, actually increase broadband, and all of the woke nonsense. He will immediately start challenging things like the audacity purchased by Soros. He will do all of the great work we need to do and create economic activity and I think be a true transformation at the FTC. And I assume you agree with that. I agree. I agree. A huge fan of him. And I've never been a fan of anyone at the

the FCC and tell him. There was a 28-year-old that was taken into federal custody last week in Houston. His name is Anas Sayyid. He was charged with providing material support to ISIS, investigating how to execute an attack on local military recruiting centers, and boasting that he would commit a 9-11-style attack once he had the necessary resources. I'm reading the story this weekend, and, you know, they left out one thing. Is he here illegally?

Do you know or can you find out? I mean, it happened here in Texas. Yeah, we've got my staff looking into that, and I don't have the sort of final answer. Od seemed pretty dang good that that individual is here illegally. And we're looking into that. And that's just one more example of what we're dealing with nationally. And you know all of the examples.

We've gone through them. So now it's turned into moving from a campaign statement, right, talking about Jocelyn Nungary, talking about Lake and Riley, talking about go down the list. We're now moving into, guys, this is why we need to act. And it's not just the crime. It's not just those situations. It's the fact, one that we have 51.5 million foreign-born people in this country. I listen to everybody go on the screen, including, I think unfortunately the speaker said this and some others,

where you've got, oh, we need to increase and improve legal immigration. Okay, sure, I think we ought to improve it. But right now, I think we ought to freeze it. I think we ought to have a freeze. Right now, we've been allowing 600,000 to a million people into our country every year for decades. We have, as I said, 51.5 million foreign-born, 30 million of those are not citizens or green card holders. I'm sorry, they're green card, but they're not citizens. We have 30 million people here, and some of them are illegal.

We're transforming our country. This is all a higher percentage than the early part of the 20th century after we'd had mass migration. We've got a reformer education system, teach people who come. here about our principles, why our system of government matters, why we believe in freedom, make sure that we have people who want to achieve the American dream and don't want handouts. We've got to cut the bureaucratic state. We've got to cut the massive, mandatory entitlement program and all these benefits and things that are going at, people who are coming here both legally and illegally.

You want to come here and achieve the American dream. God bless you. But I'm not going to be up here and allow the Chamber of Commerce and all the corporate whores who are selling out our country because they want, cheap labor or the same corporate whores who are now saying, oh, we like right. But you've got big oil and gas companies saying we like regulation. Why? Because they're rent seekers. They want the government to set them up for more profit, just like the insurance companies that Bobby Kennedy is going to take on, just like all the other big corporations trying to get rich on the back of the taxpayer.

We need to take this all on, including securing the border. Are you concerned that, I mean, the left is not going to roll over. I think we are, we're in a, we're in the, we're in the eye of the hurricane right now. It seems peaceful, seems nice. But they are not going to take this sitting down. They've made plans on, you know, exercising. I love this, how they love the 10th Amendment all of sudden, but exercising their state power to make sure that they don't have to comply by these federal regulations, et cetera, et cetera, and they're going to be suing the Trump administration. They say a lot. You concerned? Of course I'm concerned. The very first thing they'll do when we start deporting people is go to court and try to get an injunction

saying that these individuals have legitimacy and status based on what the Biden and Harris Majority regime did. There's zero question that's what they're going to do. And we're going to need an aggressive president to push back on it. We're going to need an aggressive Congress, not to blink, not to do the bidding of the big corporate interests or frankly those NGOs that were all a part of the problem with getting those people here in the first place. Like, we're going to have to be resolved. Let me be very clear. I mean, somebody pointed out, like, after Brexit and the Tories, you know, they were supposed to deliver on ending the mass influx of immigrants.

Yep. And the Britain, they didn't, and they got sent out on their butt. Here's the thing. We are going to deliver in the next two years or the Republican Party will go the way of the wigs. It will be no more. And that's the truth. The president, Republicans, to a degree. were given a mandate. The mandate was get the government out of our daily lives, get regulations

down so we can drive up economic prosperity and get inflation down. That was one of the mandates is affordability. And the other mandate was securing the border of the United States and ending all this nonsense and deporting the president campaigned on it. Mass deportations of all the people that have been illegally dumped into our country. That's what the mandate was. We've got to deliver. Chip, as always, thank you for what you do. Would you say? I would hope not. This is one of my biggest focuses. I made a big pitch for this last term. I should do the same thing again here. We should go through who's coming up in 2026 in the Senate and look for bright red states where a more conservative candidate will win. You don't want to necessarily sacrifice someone in a blue state that is kind of conservative or kind of Republican. But my main example was Mitt Romney last time.

There's no reason to have Mitt Romney. You want Mitt Romney in Maine? I get it. All right, I guess. Massachusetts, I get it. Massachusetts, I get it. There's no reason to have Mitt Romney in Utah. Get somebody good in Utah.

Utah's changing, man. But I mean, South Carolina. There's so many examples that's Texas. John Cornyn, there's no reason to have a John Cornyn. You should have two Ted Cruz's in Texas. You don't need a John Cornyn in Texas. And that's what's really frustrating. So number one, I really, I do hope, I think he would be a great pick.

I think Chip Roy would be awesome in that job. He would do a really good job. He'd be fantastic. He'd be a lot of fun. Yeah, he would be. And he actually believes in conservative principles. So that would be great. I hope he does go forward with something like that.

The other one I will say is you mentioned FCC commissioners. You've forgotten about Ajit Pai. Oh my gosh. Yeah. He was great. Yeah. Fought against net neutrality. Yeah.

Very strong. And he would have, I would love to see him get a role potentially in the, in the Trump administration somewhere. He was great. Yeah. So there have been a couple of people over the years that have been okay in government. But very rare. So, yeah, you know, I've got to bring this up again because I'm just very, very concerned about the president, air quotes again, making a decision to send longer range ballistic missiles over to Ukraine. It's huge.

It's really, really disturbing, really disturbing. How do you handle this if you're Trump? I come out today in the media. And say what? And say, Ukraine, don't do it. Don't do it. It's a new world when I get into office. Don't use them.

I will hold you responsible for the use of those. I know this president has allowed it. But me, I am pushing for peace. Don't do it. And you send that message at the same time to Vladimir Putin. To Vladimir Putin. If they do, we do it. I'm going to be in soon.

We are not going to be, we are not going into World War III. Don't do it. So it's that time of year. You're about to gather with your family around the table under one roof and give thanks to God for the amazing blessings he's bestowed on all of us throughout the year. If Trump attempts to weaponize the justice system against his political opponents with Matt Gates at the helm, we could see incoming Senator Adam Schiff is our shadow attorney general, arguing against replacing our independent prosecutors with Trump loyalists. If Trump seeks to eliminate the Department of Education,

Congresswoman Johanna Hayes, a former teacher of the year, could step up as shadow education secretary to loudly defend public education in the United States. What? If Trump orders Marco Rubio to hand Ukraine in much of Eastern Europe to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Congressman Greg Meeks, as Shadow Secretary of State, could be a strong voice in support of maintaining international relationships and protecting democracy. He started this with, you know, what we need to do is follow what the English have in their government. They have a shadow government inside the government.

that way, you know, the other side gets their way too. That doesn't seem okay. Like, I mean, to kind of use it. I mean, because one of the examples is, you know, this person will be a representative who can come out and speak out for the benefits of education. Well, that's not a shadow cabinet. It's just somebody saying what they believe. That's totally within our system.

Right. A shadow cabinet's not. In fact, if what you're doing is creating a shadow cabinet to undermine elected officials in the United States, you're. If you were to actually go through with that plan, wouldn't that be treasonous? I'm pretty sure. I'm not up on my treason as much as I should be, I guess. You know, it's kind of an old dusty thing.

You're like, I don't know, what's treasonous? I'm pretty sure acting against the official elected officials is, yeah, treason. It's not wrong to argue against them. That's actually part of your responsibility, especially if you're in the opposition party. to create some sort of shadow government would be against our... Unconstitutional, at least. He's got a big, you know, visual aid next to him

with all of the symbols of all of the cabinet and it just says shadow cabinet. I mean, it's like... Huh? That's not our system of government. Think maybe you are maybe misunderstanding how this works. And certainly if you're going to do that, you don't make graphics on a poster board of it.

If you are going to do that, you don't use the word shadow. Right. It's not very shadowy if you're just admitting it. Right. It's not good. I mean, it could just be this guy. I don't know him. Yeah, I don't.

I've never heard of it. We should maybe, like, maybe he's just trying to make some point where he's been watching a TV show recently that's been talking about the shadow government. Yeah. He believes. He wants to. I don't know.

It doesn't seem like a serious effort. You know, I know, I know people are very upset about, you know, the possibility of somebody replacing the geniuses in the Pentagon right now. I mean, anybody. I'd have a problem with anybody replacing the guys who are already, because they did such a bang-up job. And they were very focused on woke. Let me just show you a parade of. And I'd like you to do the play-by-play here, Stu. I know you've not seen this video yet,

but I think you'll be able to do a good job. This is the Canadian military, the woke Canadian military, on parade. I just see if anything shows up at you. The first thing that I see is that they're not swinging their arms in unison at all. They're not marching in unison in unison. They're not,

they can't get their arms. And one just went by and tried to reselling. set a step so it would match and it was still right. It was still wrong. I've never seen anything like that. If that is the military that North America is counting on, we're dead. We're all dead.

We should not replicate what Canada is doing. Really? Yeah, I'm going to go ahead with no on that. On all fronts. There's no need to replicate. We don't need to be like, let's chase Canada and let's try to be Canada. Like, no. Let's not. May I just say one of the

other appointments that the president made, was Carolyn Levitt. She's going to be the press secretary. And, you know, everybody's saying she's so young. I mean, how is she going to, she's 27 years old. How is she going to be able to do? I mean, really, we're just going to let Carolyn Levitt just do it. Have you seen who's been doing it for the last four years?

Although she's not 27. What's it, Carin Jean-Pierre? Carin-Jean-Pierre? Yeah. I have no idea. She was way older than I thought she was. Give me just an estimate. She, I know this is going to sound awful, but it's true.

Crack, don't, black don't crack. I mean, you're seeing. You look at, look at Morgan Freeman. He looks like he's 55. Yeah. How old is he? Like, 105? Because I, you look at the performance level of current John Peter.

I think she's 12. Based on performance level, I think she's 12. Yeah, like a 12 year old girl. Yeah. She looks young. Yeah, she looks in 30. How old is she? How did you say 30?

35 maybe. 35? Yeah. That's a reasonable guess. Sarah, do you have a guess on this? You've seen her a million times. I would say later like maybe late 50s. Late 50s?

Why have they been hiding that? She's older than me. That seems impossible. Impossible. She was born in 1974. She's 50 years old. Unbelievable. I would never have guessed it.

I mean, legitimately. No, I would have either. If you would have told me she was 25, I probably would have bought it. I would have probably guessed mid-30s. Yeah, 35. 30-35 sounds reasonable for her. 50? 50.

No. You're that stupid. at 50. You're that incompetent. That's legitimately incredible. Yeah. Where was she? What was she doing?

Was she just like? I don't know. I mean, I never saw her anywhere before this. I know. I don't know anything. Look her up. Let me take a quick break. You look her up.

role. She was the deputy campaign manager for Martin O'Malley's 2016 presidential campaign. Martin O'Malley. Now, you might remember that he did not win. You would have had, if you said to me, who is Martin O'Malley? I would have said a guy who has a food chain named after him. Okay. I would know what I would have described Martin Mull. That's what I would have done. I would have given you Martin Moll. I would have been like, he was on Fernwood tonight. I think. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. No. not Martin Mole. Okay, so then you've got, she then goes to move on.org.

I mean, this is like every path of every Democratic operative. She worked there as a spokesperson. She then became, then she got a job as a political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC. Of course. Then she worked at a couple of random, like sort of think tank type places and then got a senior advisor to Joe Biden's 2020. 20 presidential campaign.

And she was, I will say this. Not everyone can say this. In fact, only five other people can say this. She was a Haitian newsmaker of the year. Wow. By the Haitian Times. So she nailed that one. You know, I must have missed that copy of my Haitian times.

Sometimes the kids steal it. They do. Everyone loves it. So that's her history. Not an impressive, not like you'd say like, oh, this person should be the person messaging an entire administration. Well, let me give you this. So Levitt, who is now the press secretary for Trump,

she went to college and interned at Fox News, the summer before her senior year of college. She interned at the White House presidential correspondence. She returned briefly after her 2019 graduation to join the White House press office as an assistant press secretary under Kaylee McDaniel. Following the conclusion of the Trump administration, she was hired as a communication director for Elise Stefanik, and now she's going to be the White House press secretary.

I mean, neither. But which one is going to be good? Right. But which one's going to be good? That's the thing here. Remember, your job as a press secretary, in reality is you're paid by taxpayers to understand what's going on inside the White House, right? The president can't be out there talking to you every day.

He's a little busy. That being said, the actual job of the press secretary. right now, or at least for a long time, for both sides, is basically come out and give coherent defenses of the policies of the president. That is like, it's not a policy job. She's not making decisions for you. She's just messaging. And that really just comes down to performance, right?

Whether you're 50 years old and worked at MoveOn.org or you're 27 years old and worked at Fox News, the bottom line is you just, can you communicate the message and, I think, defend against attacks? and that is what the gig is. If she's good at it, she'll be good at it. So Caroline Levitt, one thing I don't think she has is a big, thick binder that she'll come out with every time. You don't think she's going to be reading every single answer? I don't think she's going to read every single answer.

Really? Yeah. It's, I know. Can a press secretaries? I thought they legally were required to read all their answers. I think so, you know. Wow. Now, do you know her?

I don't know her. No. I would assume she's very good at this. She's been good. I think she might have been on the show once. Okay. But she has, but she's, she's done a good job because she's the spokesperson for the campaign. I've seen some highlights and she seems like she's good.

Yeah, she's very confident. In fact, do we have a, we have a clip of her, don't we? Yeah, play that first clip. His speech last week was arguably the most divisive and disgusting speech that any president, certainly in my lifetime, has ever given. He essentially waged war on half of the country by saying that we are all a threat to democracy because we believe in putting America first. It's not radical to want to put your country and your own people first. It's not radical to want to have a strong border, a strong military, and to unleash the might of your own economy, not economies around the world.

You know, we have seen cultural Marxism trickling its way through every institution in this country. The public school system, the higher education university system, Hollywood, big, tech, the corrupt mainstream media that I fought against in President Trump's White House, are indoctrinating my generation of Americans into hating our country, hating one another based on race and gender and sex and all of this other BS, quite frankly. We need a congresswoman who is going to fight for our conservative American values, love of God, love of country, love of freedom. I don't know if you noticed she wasn't reading any of that.

Get the Disney Plus. And a lot of these streaming services came around and did some damage to the DVD industry. Oh, DVD industry not as profitable as it was. This is a shocking development. Really? Yeah. Now you say that. I notice there's not as many blockbusters around. Yeah, there's a few less. A few of them have gone out of business even. But I, I stumbled into this story over the weekend and I find it completely fascinating. You know when you pull up to like a CVS or McDonald's or something and they have those red kiosks outside that you can rent DVDs at called Red Box? You know what I'm talking about. Yeah, I do. Yeah. So, like, I don't know.

I see them all over the place. Yeah. Right. Apparently, they've gone out of business. Huh. Now, that's a shocking development in and of itself. Because they were really kind of everywhere. And now you've really not any DVD rentals going on.

Well, apparently. There's not a lot of DVD players that are still working, I think. No, I mean, I, do you have a DVD? I have a DVD player. I do. I have a DVD player, but I never use it. I never use it. Never used it.

I don't know why I have a DVD player, but I have a DVD player. Because you had a DVD player when DVDs were the, you know, it's kind of like I have a radio, you know. I don't have one with tubes anymore because I don't need that, you know what I mean? Right, right. You know, I still have it. I never use it. We all upgrade. Yeah.

There's a lot. They're like movie snobs like it, right? Because the quality can be higher. Yeah. If you get like a Blu-ray, it can be higher quality. I'm kind of surprised you're not more in that world because of your fears of digital media stuff going away. Oh, no, I still buy DVDs. You buy them.

You just don't play them. Yeah, I just don't play them. You have them in case. Yeah, okay. I mean, look, here's the thing. I don't know how many times I've bought the same movie from either Apple or Amazon. And it's because one of them will lose the license for it. And so it just disappears from that platform.

And I'm like, I bought this already. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. And it's not in my library anymore. And I'm like, well, where did it go?

And now I have to go search it and stream it from some other platform. That's because that platform loses the license. You don't actually own those movies, which really pisses me on. Yeah, you're sort of just renting the license, a usage of the license. It says rent or buy. I'm not really buying it, am I? No, you're not. So how does this go back to Redbox, the DVD kiosk company?

Yeah. So it goes out of business. And the way these kiosks operate, apparently, is when you go to rent a movie, you can go, you put your credit card in, you select the movie, and it spits it out like a vending machine. Yeah. If you've never been to one of those things. So they had issues, though, sometimes. because the internet would go down. Okay.

So the internet goes down at any given place. Like they're just connected to like the whatever the CPS is internet. And if the internet goes down, people can't rent movies and there's nothing going on with their business. So they built into these kiosks apparently a backup system. Okay. The backup system basically will take the credit card information and store it inside the kiosk. Okay. To hold on to it.

And then when the internet comes back on, it uploads all the transactions, charges all the cards. Okay. Now, this is not going to end up well. It's fascinating the way it's ending up. I don't think we know exactly how it ends up. So then this company goes out of business,

and it doesn't go out of business in like an orderly fashion. Right. Okay. Like, it's, they tried to hold on for a long time. It was just purchased a few years ago by another company. They, which is, again, a weird purchase. They spent hundreds of millions of dollars on this. and in three years it was totally bankrupt.

So they've gone out of business. They file for whatever, is it? Chapter 7 is the really like you're screwed one, right? Chapter 11 is the reorganization. Yes. Chapter 7 is you're gone. You're screwed. So they file for that.

And basically now, there are thousands of these kiosks all over the country, sitting at various places and no company to do anything with them. Right. Okay. So people, they're just sitting out there. A lot of these places, like, we don't know what to do with them. They're just sitting out there. A lot of them are still plugged in.

So there's this whole thing now, which is fascinating because people are just admitting it. Whole form, like threads of all these people, what they're doing is they go up and they go to the card and they're using the technology if the internet was out because there's no company to connect it with anymore. Right. So they're going up and they're just putting their credit cards in and just renting every single DVD in all of these machines. Why didn't you tell me this off air? Now there's not going to be anything that I can write. It's not going to be done on the plan. People were taking home dozens.

And there's no charge that can happen because the company doesn't exist to process the charge. But they're all still plugged in and all the DVDs are still in the machines. So people are clearing out hundreds of them. In addition, the employees of the company would go around and fill the DVD machines and redistribute them all over the place. That was their jobs. They were just left with boxes of hundreds of DVD. DVDs that they were supposed to distribute. And like, they weren't even getting their last paychecks.

Feel some sympathy for the people that were like storing DVDs at their house to deliver these machines. So now people are doing that. They're also going to like individual stores and talking to the management like, hey, I will take this kiosk for you if you want to get rid of it. Yeah. And they're taking it and they're reprogramming it to vend other things to them in their homes. I love that. That's what I was going to ask. What happens to the red box?

Could you just go and ask the store? Can I take this out of the way for you? Apparently people are doing that. And some people are saying, yeah, please get this thing out of the front of our store. Here's actually what I was thinking was could you do that? Now, this is nefarious. But could you do that? And then all the people that put their credit cards into the machine and it's still sitting there with credit card numbers.

This is a big concern. It's a really bad thing. The privacy concern. Now, privacy, I've got your number. Yeah. Yeah, well, I mean... I want my number to be in private. I don't, yeah, I know that, but I don't want, you know, it's not like, I've got your number.

It's what are you going to do with it? Right, right. Exactly. Yeah, you could steal stuff. And now, so a lot of people who are doing it now are apparently using expired cards because it can't detect whether it's expired or not. Oh, that's right. But there's also this like slight chance that someone comes in and buys this out of bankruptcy

and then just turns it on and processes all the transactions. like they don't know if that could in theory happen and then you're on the hook for 68 copies of some B movie that no one wanted to see, you know? Wow. So I don't know. I find this to be completely, it's like an amazing bizarre story.

And what's crazy about it is these people are just flat out admitting they're doing it because their argument is basically, well, it's not illegal. There's no company. The company doesn't even exist anymore. So if we want to come in here and we want to put our credit card in and take as many movies as we want, I guess we can do it.

That doesn't seem like the legal answer, though, to me. If you're doing this, I would not post about it. That would be my legal advice to you. Do not post about it because it feels like you're going to come back. It's going to come back. Something's going to go wrong here. You know the old saying, if it seems too good to be true, it is. Yeah, it feels like that.

Yeah. So what happens to the CVS's that allow somebody just to haul it off? there's some of the reports were like eventually the stores because you can only take out three at a time so to clear out an entire machine it's like you know you're you're sitting standing there for two hours and some of the stores have like chased people away go no i mean has any of them because i i thought i saw these you know if you want this come grab it the actual machine oh really you saw that i've seen that someplace um and uh what happens if the company does come back yeah i i know what would you do if you were owning If you owned a store that had one of these things out in front of it, would you give it to some random guy who came by and asked for it? I feel like I wouldn't, but I wouldn't know what else to do with it. I mean, I guess maybe he's sitting in the back of the store. I might if I'm, yeah, I might if I'm not just up on litigation all the time.

You know what I mean? Right. Like, look, the company is out of business. Yeah, I gave it to somebody. There's no one to call to come pick it up. Because where are you going to put it? You have to move it. Right.

You know? It's just going to sit there forever if you don't do something about it. Not to mention it's wasting your electricity, I would assume. No one's paying you back for that. Well, you don't unplug it. You can unplug it. Some of them are unplugged, but a lot of them aren't, apparently. And people are just going around, like, raiding these Red Box machines for free DVDs.

That's, I mean, there's some American ingenuity there that I really do appreciate. Kind of the bad kind of. It's kind of theft. Yeah. But not exactly. I mean, it's not exactly theft. Oh, it's not exactly theft. You're on the wrong side.

Yeah, probably true. You know, the thing that is. is so shocking here is the first time I saw these red boxes I went that's stupid that's not going to last I mean is it just me I mean that was seemed like it was very obvious this technology is over we should be grateful all year round for all the blessings that got a scene fit to bestow on us and that's not a red box machine stew but it seems particularly appropriate this time of year. So MSNBC, Morning Joe co-hosts, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brazinski, revealed this morning that they had a personal sit-down with the president-elect in Florida to restart communications. Scarborough and his wife, who repeatedly have bashed the president-elect on the air over the years. I hadn't noticed that.

Said they had a face. Almost didn't because they don't watch. Yeah, had a face-to-face with Trump at his Marlago estate on Friday, the first meeting in seven years after reaching out in the wake of his election win. Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country. We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump's actions and words in the coarsening of the public debate, said Brzezinski, as she opened Monday show with a stunning revelation. But nearly 80 million Americans' election denialism, public trials, January 6th were not as important as the issues that move them to send Donald Trump back to Washington with their vote. Joe and I realize it's time to do something different. I was thinking more of like, I don't know. morning show waiter and waitress

in the morning time, you know, like there's a couple of diners. They could go back to the radio show that they put on hiatus many years ago because they wanted to add a third hour. They couldn't figure out how to do that. Yeah, we just have to figure out how to do that. Wait, because this is interesting

because it's fascinating because he, of course, they loved Trump back in the day. They were best buds. I think they were with him on 2016, weren't they, on election night or something like that? or maybe for one of the primaries. I don't remember what it was. I mean, they had them out all the time.

You know, they were good friends with him. And then he became president. He got the nomination. They started to oppose him. He became president. They got into a fight. I remember Trump tweeting something about her plastic surgery or something. Like he was saying she had botched plastic surgery.

Yes. The good old days. But like I can understand, like there is a rational human thing to do, which would, allow for something like this, like a rational human being who just went through this election and was telling everyone, you know, Donald Trump was a fascist. And when they saw, hey, wait a minute, they voted for him. Maybe I should try to understand them. Maybe I should try to, maybe I'm the, you know, are we the baddies? Right? Like, it's one of those moments. Yeah. But I- That's not what they're saying. That's not what they're saying. Because I think it kind of

seemed like what they were saying there, but I just don't believe it at all from them. Like, and also they have no incentive to do it. their audience is going to hate this. Well, their audience is dropped by half in the last 10 days. Of course it has. Yeah. But that's also not shocking. Yeah.

I mean, you know, from six to three people is not that big of a, I mean, it sounds dramatic. It was actually two to one. Two to one. Yeah, there were two people. And Mika has just said, I'm not watching the monitors anymore. I'm not going to do it. Because we know the camera people weren't watching. No, they haven't watched that for years.

But anyway, let's say this. So Joe and I realize it's time to do something different. That starts with not. only talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him. Yeah, you've been talking about him for a while now. The trio talked about abortion, mass deportation, and threats of political retribution. Terrifying. We talked about that a good bit. It will come as no surprise to anybody who watches the show, has watched it over the past year or the past decade that we don't see eye to eye with a lot of the issues. And we told him so. What we did agree on was to restart communications.

Reast, what does that mean? Because if there's a famous clip of, of Joe and Mika basically asking Donald Trump what he wanted to be asked during an interview. Yeah, I remember that. Yeah. And this was back in, I don't know, 2015, 2016. When they, when they were. When they were buddies. Yeah, right?

Like, it was like, oh, basically like, so what does that mean? The communication. Like, I have a feeling it means that MSNBC or, you know, Morning Joe hasn't reached out. or if they have, they've not gotten a response from Trump. And so now they're like, okay, let's talk. Let's at least talk. What would their need? What would the need be for Donald Trump to talk to them?

I mean, for him, just for pure entertainment purposes, take the meeting. It would be funny. But why? What would be the purpose of them talking? I mean, maybe Trump is just like, I, you know, I can win over some MSNBC viewers. I can, you know, bend the media coverage a little bit toward. my favor, but I can understand why he would want to do it, but why would he actually, like, go ahead with it. It's not going to, it's not going to change. I don't, I don't know, other than, you know,

he, he, he, he doesn't, nobody does. Nobody likes being a pariah. You know what I mean? Yeah. You seem to enjoy it. I really don't. No, I don't. Okay. Many things, this is what Trump said. Um, it was extremely cordial. And a couple of people, praised his flawless campaign. That's what Fox News reported. Many things were discussed. I'm quoting the president now and I very much appreciated the fact they wanted to have open communication. In many ways, it's too bad that it wasn't done long ago. They congratulated me on running a great and flawless campaign, one for the history books, which I believe it was. But it was also a campaign where I worked long and hard, perhaps longer and harder than any other presidential candidate in

history. I believe that too. And we should point out a big part of that work was fighting off fake accusations of being a from these guys from those people yeah i know so i mean i don't know i i wouldn't have time for them i i he's a better man than i suppose for well he said entertaining the nonsense i feel an obligation to the american public and to our country itself to be open and available with the press if not treated fairly however that will end i i think as the president it is nbc it's not msnbc so that you know that's like you know it's you know it's clean No, it's actually the people that perforate the box at the top that you pull that out and then you can get the Kleenex. I'm not talking to the perforation people.

If I want to deal with Kleenex, I'm going to the people that are making the Kleenex. So it's MSNBC. But the backlash against the pair was swift on social media this morning with many blasting the duo for their shamelessness and for bending the knee by arranging the face to face. Hitler getting a lot more meeting request than I would have thought. I mean, this is so, this shows improves how fake all that was. I know. You don't meet with Hitler. Yeah, Joe Biden welcoming into the White House, all this, you know, back and forth.

We're going to work together. We'll make sure your transition is as good as possible. Why would you do that for Adolf? I mean, that's just not, it doesn't make any sense. None of this stuff was actually real. That whole time. It just lies to try to. win an election. Byron Roak, York said, annals of shamelessness, they call Trump a fascist and much,

much more than 22 days after his Nazi-like rally. They fly to Florida for an audience. That's so bad. I mean, a lot of times I feel like sometimes audiences can be very, can be tough if you step out at all, right? Like, if you take a position, this has happened to me, it's happened to you, where you take a position the audience doesn't like, they can rip you. And that's good to keep you in line. But sometimes I think it's overdone. Like, you know, you're going to disagree with people. And you should disagree with people that you listen to.

I would feel completely lied to if I were one of their fans. Now, I know they don't have a lot of them. So it's hard to know for sure. But like... Ever since Joe's mom stopped listening? She just listened to this show, actually, back in the day. Yeah, she's a Joe's Carborough's mom. Sorry, if you're listening today, we love your son.

I'm sure he's great. We love him in the way Jesus requires us to love him. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Loyal Morning Joe viewers are furious about the Trump meeting. Jeff Jarvis. Oh, not Jeff Jarvis. This is, yes, the Jeff Jarvis. Wow.

Now, I don't. Is he upset? I might have to click on the name Jeff Jarvis to learn who Jeff Jarvis is. So you know who he is. Of course. And he's a known cool-headed guy. Oh, really? Yeah, sure.

So enlighten me. so I don't have to click. Who is Jeff Jarvis? Jeff Jarvis? Yes, Jeff Jarvis. Did you ever see the movie, you know, from Marvel? I mean, I'm sure. I've seen many movies from Marvel.

The Jarvis character was based on him. Very, very smart, very, you know, just, you know, almost AI-like. Almost AI-like. He's that calm, collected, and informed. He says it's a betrayal of their colleagues, democracy, and us all. which again, if you're an MSNBC viewer, like, wouldn't you feel that way? What do you mean you're meeting with Adolf Hitler? What are you talking about?

You just spent multiple years telling us he didn't care about democracy. He wanted to destroy the nation. Can I play devil's advocate this? On behalf of Joe and Mika or in behalf of Jeff Jarvis, who by the way is a computer AI. I don't know what he's a he's a maybe a professor a professor wow okay there you go so I was more impressed when he was a non-existent computer from a movie the the play devil's advocate okay you I would meet with if I was a journalist I would meet with Hitler I'd meet with Klaus Schwab I wouldn't kiss the ring but I would want an interview. Right, but that's not what they got.

They got a private meeting. They got a dinner. I guess because it would require me to also continue to do that. And I wouldn't get that unless I kissed the ring because I had said what I really believed. But the secret here is they don't believe that. They don't actually believe that. He's Hitler. No.

Right. Because, I mean, I think there's an argument to be made. And you kind of hit on this. earlier a little bit, but there's an argument to be made that if you believe you can go in there and sweet talk him and get him to be a little bit less adversarial toward you, that it's worth doing it. That's why people always like, well, why do you talk to reporters when they're writing these bad stories about you?

And it's like, well, it's a good point because you never get a good story written about you if you're a conservative. But one of the reasons you do it is to try to, at least. least eliminate the worst parts of it and to try to actually point them in the right direction of the truth. Most of the time they don't take that. But you do it because they might have something completely false that someone else said about you and you can prove that it's inaccurate and they leave it out of the piece. That happens all the time. So maybe what they're thinking is if we go in there and we kind of rejuvenate this friendship a little bit, remember the good old

days. But who would watch MSNBC? That's a great question. Is that the end of it? Because it's the great question as is. I know it is. But let me narrow it down even further. Okay. For those who are currently still watching it, yeah. Why would you continue to watch?

I know. Because you'd be like, wait, I don't want to like Hitler. I don't want to be with Hitler lovers. You went to meet with him? There's only two options here. Right. One is the host you love is meeting with Hitler. The other option is they've been lying to you the entire time.

Yes. Why would you ever watch that show again in either circumstance? This is why you don't take the meeting. This is why I'm shocked by the incentives. The incentive for Joe Scarborough here to keep his little train going. It's up for sale. I think MSNBC is up for sale. Yeah, they're talking about that.

Right, Ricky, is it up for sale? I think it is up for sale. Why would you continue? What incentive do you have, really, to do this? Because you're failing your audience. Everyone's going to hate you in your audience. You'd think you're just desperate to hold on. that's and that that that that that's the only reason you're desperate to not lose your gig but why

would that help you you'd think it would hurt your gig you're kissing up to eight off but you are trying to inject logic into this right well let me ask you this it's maybe another crazy possibility is it possible they actually really do believe their rhetoric this whole time and they think trump is actually going to like pull them off the air. And so they're trying to get on his good side to prevent that. Because Trump has basically said I will come after these news networks. We honestly thought if we lost, our time would be marked because it wasn't just going to be us. It was going to be anybody who disagrees with the regime that misinformation, disinformation that will take us out. I wouldn't have

made lovey-dovey with. No, I wouldn't have. I wouldn't have ever done that. I wouldn't have gone, you know, I need to see Kamala. You know, I think that what you're not a horrible human being. So you're not understanding their situation exactly. Their situation is a little different. A little different incentives and thought processes. Sarah, clip that because that's the only time.
