We have two things that we need to discuss this hour. The first one is the dock workers. Let me put this into context for you. Nothing to panic about today.

But I want you to really understand what this whole thing is about. The second thing is the devastation from this hurricane. I guess. Maybe you will. Okay. Let me take you first to another issue. You know, you get up this morning, scrolling through your phone, checking your news feed, having a cup of coffee. and then there's this headline, U.S. port workers begin nationwide strike. Okay, good, good, good.

Now, we could, you could just blow this off because the ports and, you know, dock workers sounds distant, you know. It was the worst season of the wire. Okay. You know, so it's the kind of the one you skip, I feel like. Okay, this one is about to reach out right into your home, your wallet, your daily life. So I need to explain what's coming our way. First, in week one, in the first week, you might not notice much. So there's no reason to panic.

You can go and, you know, go to go to the store and stock up on some things, but there's no reason to run out and do that this week. Your online orders are still arriving. Maybe you hear a blip on the news about some ships stuck offshore for a few industries hinting at some delays, but for most people, life is going to go on as normal in week one. It started last night. Now, behind the scenes, things are starting to shake and crack a little bit. Retailers, manufacturers, and businesses that depend on regular shipments are beginning

to feel the pinch in week one. The just-in-time supply system, you know, that we all learned about in COVID, that's beginning to have a little bit of a strain. and it's starting to wobble a little bit. And while the shelves are still full for now, the stock rooms in the back are running thin. By week two, by the second week, you're going to start feeling things.

So next week, maybe midweek, if it's still going on, maybe you head for the store in something as simple as bananas or a pair of new shoes, suddenly the shelves aren't as full. Some items just aren't there, fresh avocados or berries, that you've gotten used to, they're sitting on ships waiting to dock, and it's not just food,

it's electronics, it's clothing, even toys for your kids, they start becoming harder to find. Prices? By week two, they may start on some items to inch upward. Businesses are now scrambling to get their hands on what's left, and the competition drives up cost. That cheap TV that you were thinking of buying, you may have to add anywhere from 10 to 30% to the price tag by the end of week two. If you were planning on doing some home repairs or upgrades, good luck. All of the tools and materials are sitting in crates gathering dust at the ports. This is also a problem because of the hurricane.

Anything that you get at Home Depot is going to be in short supply because of the hurricane. and by week two, the dock workers strike. Now, by the third week, if it goes on that long, now we're getting into some problems. It's no longer just a shortage of bananas or phone chargers. Entire industries begin to slow down. Factories that rely on parts from overseas just in time can't keep running. So the workers in those factories, people you might know,

maybe it is you, are getting furloughed, sent home without pay, because there's nothing for you to build. Grocery stores begin to ration some items and limiting on some items how much you can buy. Now, at this point, the strike is not a nuisance. This is week three. This point in week three, it becomes a crisis. The online orders you placed, delayed, weeks out.

Businesses are pleading with the government for help by now, but even if the strike ended in week three, it would take weeks to untangle the mess at the ports. By now, inflation is beginning to rear its ugly head. Everything from groceries to gas to close is more expensive than it was just two weeks ago. Week four, this is when it becomes the full weight of the strike is unavoidable, and I believe it becomes a national security problem. and possibly by this time in week four,

it is just one part of what I am looking for, and we'll explain later on the show, a poly crisis. A polycrisis is what will take us out in a knockout blow. And you already have a little bit of a poly crisis with the dock workers and the hurricane. Small businesses are now closing their doors because they can't get their inventory.

Grocery store shelves are sparse with some items. missing altogether. Your favorite brands might be out of stock. Maybe you head to the hardware store only to find that the building materials you need are either unavailable or so expensive they're out of reach. Now let's talk long term. Timing couldn't be worse because we're heading into fall. And you know what that means. The holiday season.

Retailers are counting on the next few months for a huge chunk of their sales and the Christmas gifts you've been eyeing. there's a good chance they won't make it in time for Christmas. Toys, electronics, clothing, they're sitting in ships or back-ordered at factories. They can't get the parts. Even if the strike ends after four weeks, the backlog will last for months. Shipping will be slow and prices? You'll be paying a premium for anything you can find. So here's what you need to know.

Week one, just be aware. If you want to get some fruit and you have some extra fruit and a house, House for week two, if it goes on that line? Great. I can't imagine that this strike goes on very long because it will create a national emergency. However, I'm not sure if our president is too busy of lathering on sunscreen at the beach or if his goals are just not the same as our goals to keep America safe and healthy. So I don't know why. Remember the train negotiation?

You know, he kept the trains running. We kept the trains running. He got involved immediately. And he made sure that strike didn't happen. Well, where is he now? And the media is saying, well, he can't really do anything, you know, can't really, you know, maybe in a couple of weeks. Really?

Maybe in a couple of weeks. He stopped the train thing from going into, strike. Why isn't he involved this time? He's Mr. Labor Union. So I don't know what's happening. In a normal America, the president would make sure this strike was settled, but wait until you hear what they're asking for and what they've already turned down. So for, if it goes four weeks. Truckers, rail workers, warehouses will be overwhelmed trying to just move everything. Prices will stay high through the holiday season. Supply chains will struggle to recover. Holiday shopping season is going to be leaner, fewer options on the shelves, less to spend because inflation is going

to chip away at your budget again. The economic hit won't be limited just to higher prices. jobs will be lost as industry scramble to adapt disruptions. Companies may start shifting operations to avoid reliance on our U.S. ports in the future. That's great, huh? Potentially relocating manufacturing or looking to automate more of their processes to reduce reliance on labor. That will mean fewer jobs for the very workers that are striking today in the long run. So when you hear about the port thing, no, this is a very serious issue. issue, not today, but if you want to be prepared, you might don't go crazy at a Costco.

Okay, so, you know, when you hear what the dock workers are striking for, maybe you think it's reasonable, but let's get into the details. They're striking for two big reasons. One, they want higher pay. Everybody does. They want assurances that their jobs won't be taken over by machines by automation. Everybody wants that. Got it.

So on the surface, it sounds reasonable. Everyone wants better pay. No one wants to lose their job to a robot. But when you start unpacking what they're asking for and comparing it to the average American worker, and when you consider the long-term effects on our country's economy, especially in competition with China, picture gets a little more complex. Okay, first let's talk about the pay raise. The average longshoremen, the dock workers, already make about $100,000 to $200,000 a year.

Six figures. Some even earn more when you factor in overtime. Now, if you compare that to the average American worker who pulls in around $56,000 a year, that's quite a gap. Now, they're not just asking for more. They are pushing for significant raises, sometimes 10 to 15 percent a year or even higher depending on the location in the union negotiations. For someone already making $100,000, that could mean a $10 to $15 or $20,000 raise every year. Meanwhile, the average American worker, we're lucky to see a 2 or 3% raise.

Lucky. In fact, with inflation running hot, many workers are losing purchasing power and wages are not keeping pace with inflation and the cost of living. But it isn't a small pay raise. over the term of the next six years, they are asking for a 77% pay raise over the six-year life of the contract. Now, they've been offered a 50% increase and have turned that down. Now, the dock workers in California in the West Coast, they got a 34% pay raise over the course.

of their contract. These guys are asking for 77% increase over the next six years, been offered 50% and have turned it down, walked away. Okay. I mean, I mean, that's going to be hard for people to swallow. And understand, I get it. Dock work is tough. It's physically demanding.

It is risky. It's not a young, it's not an old, game. But the pay is already far above the national average and their demands for even more seem a little out of sync with what most people are experiencing in their lives. And I am for people making as much money as they can. But we're all connected and everyone has to remember this is a business. All of this stuff has to work for business. Everyone has to win because if it's just the dock workers, nobody wins. Even at a 50% pay increase, that is going to be passed on to you in higher costs. And that's not the real problem. The real problem comes in what

their second demand is. The dock workers want ironclad guarantees that the ports will not replace any of them with a machine. Now think about that for a moment. They're asking for a commitment that even as technology advances, ports won't introduce things like automated cranes or self-driving trucks or robotics to do the work faster, cheaper, more safely and efficiently. This is a conversation America and the world should have had 20 years ago, and I talked about it 20 years ago, and I talked about it every year since. We're going to come to a time where if you don't know what the meaning of life is, you're going to be kind of upside down because people are going to start losing their jobs. Maybe we should start looking at the jobs of the future and start

training people for those because the average job is going away. Well, now you're in it. This is like AI. Should have had that discussion 20 years ago. But now we're all scrambling. Why? Because there is no leadership in this country. That's why. There's no real leader. And without vision, without a leader with vision, the people will perish. And that's what's happening. So I can sympathize with the dock workers. No one wants to be told that we got a machine that can do your job faster and without breaks. Good luck. But here's a thing. Automation is happening. Just like AI now, it's too late to stop it. It's happening.

So now we have to figure out how do we retool instead of just saying, you know what, you're out. How do we retool? Because if we don't retool, if we are acting like people who said the horse and buggy have to be kept, we lose China. They're ports. Have you seen the video that's circling the world? now, the ports in China are highly automated. It's like one office and the whole port runs in one office. They move goods faster more efficiently than we do. They have automated cranes, AI-driven systems, the robots work around the clock, minimal human interference. It is safer, faster,

cheaper. This allows China to process millions of more containers than we do at a fraction of the cost and time. Why do you think people buy their products from China? Because they've, through slave labor and now through automation, they can make it cheaper. If we don't automate our ports, we are putting ourselves in a disadvantage for a long-term knockout pile. punch. Global trade is cutthroat. Companies will ship through countries and ports that can move their goods faster and cheaper. And if the U.S. sticks with old labor-intensive methods, shipping companies will look elsewhere to countries like China that can get the job done more efficiently. This will mean lost business for U.S. ports, fewer goods flowing through our economy,

and ultimately fewer jobs for dock workers in the long run. We, I'm sorry again. I'm sorry, have to automate to be able to compete in today's world. If you're willing to go back and live like the old-timey days where, you know, back in the, you know, back around the turn of the century, 80% live below the poverty line, okay? 80% of Americans. So you want to go back to that, that's fine. But we have a brave new world that we are facing now.

and these dock workers are in trouble. Okay, the two-front war in Israel has been that we have now seen, they're now saying it might be even a three-front war in Israel. The rockets continue and hopefully it will end soon, but there's over 60,000 people that are out of their homes now, basically refugees inside of their own country having to live in shelters with no access to food, water, or many essentials. Israel is a very small country.

Very small country. Close to 100 people are dead now, six different states. Majority of it is happening in North Carolina. FEMA is, you know, I don't know, they'll show up, maybe some point. We have a lot to tell you on FEMA coming up in just a second. They kind of changed, you know, they're like, yeah, we're more into equity.

weren't you, Zach? Yeah, we're up here in a little town right outside of Asheville, Black Mountain, Swansea, It's kind of all the same area. And it's, yeah, it's, Glenn, it's absolutely devastating. I mean, I've been in a lot of floods, but what we're seeing here is, I mean, the infrastructure's been destroyed. I mean, it looks like a war zone.

You know, so it's, yeah, it's bad. It's a lot worse than probably people understand. I have to get out there. I have to see this myself because I don't think I, you know, I know it's really bad. and I've seen the pictures, but I don't, I mean, you'd be better. Do you really fully understand it unless you're standing there, Zach? I don't think so. You know, Swansea Noah has been completely devastated.

When I say devastation, I'm talking about not only are the buildings gone, but the ground that was underneath the buildings are gone. I mean, this little creek that runs through here turned into like the Mississippi River, and it just took everything out in its path. children's home here in Black Mountain where my wife serves on the board. They're stranded out there. That whole thing has been wiped out. They had a mudslide that took out their lodge. And I'm hearing reports that there were 35 missionary students that were there serving the home. They were in a cabin together on the site. And one of the girls saw the ground starting to move. She starts

screaming, everybody get out. And from what I've been told, they were seconds. I mean, but they got out. one of the cool stories that you were talking about FEMA, one of the cool stories about how community mobilized. I just heard this from one of the pastors here in town, that there was a man who all he had was a cow. He brought the cow up to the church here in Swananoa. He said, it's all I got. And they slaughtered the cow and got a thousand people.

Just stories that were popping up. The community is really stepping up. I mean, the churches are stepping up. The restaurants here in town, we brought generators in. Everyone's like sharing food, starving people. So that side of it is extremely encouraging just to see people coming together. So it's been super emotional time for all of us, you know, fearful of the future.

I think it's going to be a long-term recovery. I mean, the infrastructure, I'm telling you, that bridge is just gone, washed out, key roads washed out. The interstate coming up the mountain on Interstate 40, mudslide hit that. It's still not open coming in Asheville from the west. I believe that interstate was washed out. I was able to get in and out yesterday on I-26, brought in fuel, brought in supplies for our church, family to share with the community. So, yeah, we're boots on the ground, and we're just kind of in the ground right now. Isn't this where Billy Graham's home is in that area?

Yes. In fact, the Cove, Will Graham runs the Cove here. Will's a great friend of ours. It's off at Exit 55 in Nashville, and Billy Graham's home is in Black Mountain up in a little town called Monge. treat. So yeah, the Grams have a strong influence here. You know, and they're, you know, Samaritan's purse is, this is what they do, does that actually leave? But they're headquartered out of Boone. And so they've been, I mean, Boone was hit hard. It's not just Black Mountain Swarno, Ashfield, it's, I mean, it's the whole area now. Chimney Rock is gone. That little town is

completely gone as well. So, yeah, I just don't know. I mean, this is going to be a long-term recovery. So, yeah, any donations, our church, swan, dot church, is. a great place to give. The Black Mountain home for children is a great place to give. Obviously, what you guys are doing. Oh, by the way, Glenn, one of the police officers came out of my house last night. And the first question out of his mouth was, hey, is Mercury one on the ground? I saw that they've already dropped off, you know, two helicopters full of supplies and more's coming. So you've got a lot of a lot of people that respect you up in this part of the country. Oh, well, I wish we could do more and we will do more. We are always, we try to be the one or

two in and the last one out. So you just need to tell us what we need to do, Zach. How can we help you? What do you need? I think right now, yes, supplies are starting to trickle in. I think finding local churches and communities that are going to be here for the long haul to get financially to, I mean, what we're doing as a church is we're going out and we're getting what we have, which is waters, formula, diapers, all those kind of supplies. But we're also. We're also, asking what are your needs? And so we're going to go back into the community. I think we're really trying to mobilize for once we're out of the recovery, out of the relief phase, then it's going to be recovery. And that's going to take a lot. So, yeah, I think donations are great.

And if you want to donate to your organization is great, anything. What is your church? What is the one you just recommended? Our church is Swananoa Christian church. It's right in the heart of Swan. It's Swan with one end. Dot church. That's actually the website. There's no... Swan. Dot church is one end. So, and then, yeah.

For anybody that, I mean, that's easy to remember. We're good. But, you know, we, the only thing we had was water in our basement. We're kind of in a high area of town. So we're kind of like, our house has become like ground zero for feeding people. And so we got all our friends and neighbors and everybody's coming in. And, you know, our neighborhood's all stepped up and everybody's sharing food. I mean, that side of it, Lynn, is so beautiful to me. I mean, it just, it just screams that, you know, the image of God.

Yeah. We long to communicate. We long to have community. And you see it in times like this. And so it's been, I've actually. you've seen the Spirit of Christ more in the last three days than having a long time. And that's encouraging. I tell you, things are so dark, but the light is getting lighter as well.

And this is who we really are. You know, I doubt anybody's talking politics right now. They don't care who you voted for. They're just helping one another. Yeah. Yeah. The device of this goes out the window when you need food, water, shelter, and everybody's just loving on one another, hugging each other. So that part's encouraging.

So, yeah, and I'm just thankful for what you guys are doing. I really am. A lot of people here know about you guys bringing in supplies. And I just want to thank you for Mercury 1, what you're doing from the bottom of my heart. Thank you. Tell me about FEMA. Now, I haven't seen FEMA, but that doesn't mean that I don't know what's going. They're not there.

I don't know if they are not. I mean, I'm pretty sure they're not. Yeah, I don't know. what I'm seeing on the ground is a lot of local law enforcement, a lot of fire trucks coming in and EMS coming in from all over the place. Chattanooga, Atlanta, High Point. And these guys, it is insane. What the transformation just in the last 48 hours of getting roads to mudslides.

I mean, like, it's incredible what they're doing. So I'm seeing a lot of volunteers come in. I mean, that's what I'm seeing. But I don't really know what's going on because we don't have access to Internet. Communications are very difficult. I actually had to drive up to the one spot in about a 50-mile radius where I can get actually cell phone coverage to take this call. So, I mean, there's just not a lot of – there's not cell phone coverage around here right now. Zach, thank you.

He's potentially about to be the first man. What do they call it? First lady. He's the first lady. He's about to be the first male first lady. I literally have no idea who he is. How is this possible? And he's out there now.

They're trying to say, well, I mean, Jen Saki said he was redefining masculinity. Oh, yeah. Which is true. Because I feel like the old school version of masculinity, you're not knocking up your nanny. No. Typically, that was not on the checklist. Right. However, he is very much out there now talking about Roe versus Wade.

Ben Shapiro, I'm going to give credit for this. He says, because he's talking about how much he loves abortions. He loves abortions. And Ben correctly points out, very few Americans have more personal stake in the abortion issue than a man who knocked up his nanny. Oh, my gosh. Which is. Oh, my. A very legitimate point.

Yeah. You'd think that that would make it frowned upon. Right? The fact that this guy's gone through this and done this, he should be the spokesperson for aborting kids. No. Right? No.

I knocked up my nanny during an affair and then she had an abortion so I didn't have to deal with it. And I don't know. Did she? I don't know. That's a good question. Again, know nothing about this person. No, I know nothing about it. Is that incredible, though?

We talk about this every day. We talk about Kamala Harris all the time. We've been talking about her for years and years and years and years and years. And here's this guy. Well, he's white, isn't he? So that's why we don't pay any attention to him because he's white, you know. He is white. Yeah.

I'm looking at him right now. That's why. That's why nobody in the conservative movement knows anything about him or would dare say anything about him because he's white. Yeah. Yeah. We're just against, you know, different colors, skin colors. I guess that's it I don't know

I don't know I do you know we haven't paid attention to I don't unless it's Hillary Clinton somebody who is very vocal Michelle Obama you don't pay attention to

Alex Newman, how are you, sir? I'm doing fantastic. Thank you for having you, sir. How many times in your life have you just heard, hello Newman? It happens more and more, actually. And I never watched Seinfeld growing up outside of the country, so it's ironic. Oh, my gosh. You have to watch it. It's some of the meanest people you've ever seen. So anyway, Alex, I know you've been covering Pact for the Future, and you were there at the UN,

and you've talked to some of the leaders on this. First explain what it is to people that don't know. know and why it's so important? Well, the Pact for the Future, essentially, Glenn, is an effort to radically transform the United Nations. That's how they're portraying it. I think better than the word transform would be to use the word empower. Because when the UN was started, at least the marketing job was, this is just about peace. We're not trying to build a world government. We're not trying to steal your sovereignty. This is just so countries don't fight each other. As you read the Pact

for the future, you'll see the UN now believes that it should be in involved in education, the environment, law, business, economics, culture, sports, religion, you name it. And they actually marketed this internally, and they had the posters everywhere. This is about turning the UN into UN 2.0. And as Antonio Gutierrez said, the socialist secretary general, and they actually put it in, you know, these big speech bubbles and put stickers and posters all over the place. They said, we can't build a future for our grandchildren with a system built for our grandparents. So it's a big deal. Depending on who you talk to, I reached out to a lot of different experts to get their thoughts on what this meant from a legal perspective.

And they range from, you know, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Mike McCall telling me it's a really bad idea, but it's non-binding to Professor of International Law, Francis Boyle, at the University of Illinois, one of the top experts in international law in the world, saying, no, this is actually a treaty, even though Biden is pretending like it's not. and it's going to have very serious legal implications for all the nations of the world. So it's a big deal no matter how you slice it, Glenn. They want to assume all these emergency powers. They want power to silence speech that they disagree with. They want power to educate your children in their worldview. It's a really big deal. So I saw the video of you trying to interview the head of the, what is she, communications?

Yeah. The Secretary General for Communications. Big, big job. Yeah. UN Comzar. She is, you were trying to talk to her because she made a deal with Google, right? A partnership. And she bragged about this.

That's the incredible thing. It's not like I had some secret information. She went to the World Economic Forum side event back in 2022 on sustainable development and bragged to her globalist buddies that, hey, we now have a partnership with Google. And it was a really interesting explanation. She said when we Googled climate change. we realized there was distorted information. And it's funny she said that because for many years,

my articles covering the UN's climate summits interviewing a lot of the leading climate experts in the world were at the top of Google. Same thing with sustainable development, et cetera. And she said, well, we can't have that. So she was very proud that they had formed a partnership now with Google to put the UN's information and allied information at the top. And I just wanted to ask her about the formula. How do you guys decide what's good and what's bad?

How do you decide what should be at the top when people search and how, how do you decide what should be buried? And as you saw in the video, she was not interested in talking at all. But she loves communications, you know. Weren't you at a Freedom of the Press kind of event trying to talk to her to? Wasn't that a press? One of those of those ironic things. She had just finished a panel discussion on the importance of freedom of the press.

And she had a couple of people there. One of them was the deputy editor of the BBC. and they were moaning about how all these citizen journalists now are undermining the credibility of the establishment media. We need more government subsidies for the press to be free. And I thought, well, this is a free press event. Certainly she's going to want to talk to the press, but no, not at all. She was interested to talk with other members of the press.

I went up to her and asked her, hey, could you tell us about how you guys determine what should be and should not be on the front page of Google? That she didn't want to answer. She said, well, I don't recognize you. And so I can't talk. And then her staff, I guess they were, swooped in and called me away. And then other members of the press just went right up to her. And she put on a big smile and talked to them, told them anything they wanted to know.

So I think there were several deceptions there. First of all, pretending like she didn't recognize who we were. Her office had to be involved in accrediting all of us to be surrounded by world leaders. Second of all, the idea that you can only talk to journalists who you recognize is ludicrous. So she just didn't want to talk about that issue with people who weren't drinking the Kool-Aid. You know, I googled climate change. And let me tell you, these are the sources in order. The United Nations, NASA, NASA, the effects, the United Nations.

You go down, then it's the IPCC, then it's Wikipedia, then it's the United Nations, then it's the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, then the World Bank, then the World Health Organization, and you're on to page two. Very difficult. And it's across everything, right? It's not just the climate.

You know, we saw this during COVID. We see this on sustainable issues. We see this on education. They are bearing those of us who ask critical questions, who aren't necessarily buying into the, narrative and they're promoting their propaganda, even in the political round, right? Donald Trump was just complaining about this other day. Google seems to have messed with its algorithm in a way

where now pro-Kamala Harris stories come up and pro-Trump stories or even neutral stories get buried. It's very, very nefarious. So tell me how is the disparity so great between the, this means nothing to, no, it's going to mean an awful lot. How well, where do you? What? land and why is why is it that we don't really know we shouldn't we shouldn't we know somebody you think that they would want this to be clear but i think the reality is they don't want it to be clear because as long as there's this haze of confusion around it nobody can kind of pin down exactly what's wrong with it and i think one of their big problems that they have is our constitution our constitution has a specific method for ratifying treaties right they have to be subject to the

advice and the consent of the Senate, and they have to get two-thirds of the senators. So even all the Democrats combined and the rhinos, it's very difficult to get stuff like that ratified in the U.S. Senate. So I saw this during the Obama administration. I was in Paris for the U.N. climate negotiations, and Barack Obama's running around being treated like some sort of superstar, some celebrity, because he promised to slash American CO2 emissions by about a third over the next years. And they were very strategic about how they referred to this document. It was the Paris agreement. And so you had people like Senator James Inhoff come in and say, hey, you guys can all go home. The Senate's never going to ratify this stuff. You're not getting any money. This is dumb.

Go away. You're not going to extort our taxpayers. But Obama said, no, no, this is an executive agreement. So I looked in my constitution. Turns out there's no thing as an executive agreement. And yet Barack Obama came back to Washington, D.C. And right away, the EPA starts putting out new mandates, shutting down power plants, Department of Transportation. They're putting in new admission standards for the vehicles. So they're treating them as if they were binding documents, but they're not submitting them to the Senate for ratification. And I guarantee you that is a deliberate fraud on the American tax code, just like they did with the International Pandemic Accord. Originally, they called it International Pandemic Treaty, but they knew it wasn't going to get

through the U.S. Senate, so it magically morphed into an accord. How many more parts need to be assembled before you think we could truly lose our sovereignty? Well, we're losing our sovereignty bit by bit. One of the organizations that's been instrumental in bringing this about, and they've got a front row seat to the whole process, and they've been helping it at the Council on Foreign Relations. And they have a magazine. It's called Foreign Affairs. And back in the 1970s, they published a piece by Richard Gardner, who at the time, I believe, was the Assistant Secretary.

of state for something. And he explained in there how they're going to build what he described as the House of World Order. And he said, we're not going to do the old-fashioned frontal assault. That's not going to work anymore in today's day and age. I mean, you tell Americans, hey, you're living in a world government. They're going to be mad, and they've got 400 million guns. That's not going to work. So he said, we've got to erode sovereignty piece by piece. And that's what we're watching here. They'll take a little bit of our sovereignty on the climate issue. Then UNESCO will come up with some new ideas on education, then the international covenant on civil and political rights will be used as a bludgeon to get us to change our laws on this, and they'll pass a UN convention

on the rights of the child that says we have to change our child welfare laws. And little bit by little bit, more and more policy areas get usurped at the international level. Well, that's, you read it's everywhere. That's why I asked you how many more pieces need, because they're not, every time I think of the progressives, I think of that old Johnny Cash, song. I don't know if you remember it, but one piece at a time. And it's about a guy who built a Cadillac working at GM and stealing

parts one piece at a time. And over 20 years, he had a Cadillac. And that's, and I think that's what they've done. For the last hundred years, they've done little piece, little piece, little piece. You know, it's like it's like the recovery.

What was it? The first big bill, the, you know, $7 trillion bill or whatever it was. that happened right under Biden at the very beginning, had all of the stuff on the border in it. That's where all this money's coming from to put people up. You know, it's all shams. You look at it, you read it, and you're like,

I don't even know what that means. Well, they do. They do. Yeah, and one of the things that is most troubling about this pact for the future, Glenn, is it has the seeds in it for exactly the type of power grab that we're discussing here. So let me give me a little back. before I get into what's actually in the pact. So in early

2023, and I wrote a major article about this, the Secretary General was putting out a series of what they called policy brief. The series was called Our Common Future. And it was about all these ideas that the Secretary General had for strengthening and improving the United Nations. And all of them were troubling, right? One was about censorship, one was about brainwashing children. But the one that really caught my attention, I said, this is huge, I've got to write about it right this moment involved emergencies. They call it emergency protocols. And I want to quote from this document because it says that in the event that the Secretary General declares a global

emergency, it says right here, all the stakeholders, all institutions, governments, international institutions, the private sector, development banks, religious organizations, all will have to recognize, and I'm quoting here, the primary role of intergovernmental organs that would be UN agencies in decision-making. And so they're saying if the Secretary General declares an emergency under this policy brief, then everybody in the world, all institutions are going to have to recognize the UN as the main decision-maker. And they give some examples of emergencies. It could be climate. It could be environment. It could be economic. It could be war. It could be a black swan event. It could be something in outer space. Doesn't even have to be

global. And so here's what they got in the pact for the future, which is directly related to that. action item number 54, there's 56 actions, so I think they buried it at the end very strategically. It says in very clear language, we recognize the need for a more coherent, cooperative, coordinated, and multidimensional international response to complex global shocks and the central role of the United Nations in this regard. And it calls on the Secretary General to come up with ways to strengthen the UN system response to complex global shocks. And so imagine for a moment, Glenn, that we maybe see another pandemic, maybe a war breaks out, maybe there's an economic crisis, a dollar crisis, whatever.

And the Secretary General says, well, this is a complex global shock. We're all going to have to do X, Y, Z. And people say, wait a minute, we have national sovereignty. And he says, no, no, go look in the pact for the future. All 193 member states of the United Nations agreed by consensus that the U.S. UN needs to play the central role in this regard. So I'm just doing what the member states told me. And, you know, if you don't like it, take it up with the member states. So this sets up what the UN calls a mandate. So now Secretary General Gutierrez can just say, hey, I have a mandate

to do this. I'm just obeying my boss is the member states of the UN. So let me do what I'm doing. Respect my authority. Okay. Talking to Alex Newman. So Alex, you know, there's one thing that I read, I don't know, about a year ago or so from the World Economic Forum. And they were talking about disinformation and misinformation and misinformation, malinformation. And they said, if there is an emergency, for example, in economic crisis, the central banks will start to move. But if there are voices that disagree with the moves of the central banks, they will need to be silenced as they will cause even more damage to happen to the economy. And I immediately thought, I'm not going to agree with anything the central bank is saying they're going to be silenced. do. Because I know what they're going to do. They're going to, you know, advocate for a, you know, a new digital Fed bank currency. No, thank you. That's the kind of thing that happens in emergencies

with things like this agreement with the United Nations, right? That's exactly the kind of thing that happens. And this pact for the future formalizes all that, Glenn. And I encourage me to think back just a few years, right? We had the World Health Organization spreading vicious disinformation all over the world. They were telling people that COVID was not transmissible between people. They were saying it had absolutely nothing to do with a laboratory in Wuhan. It was some wet market with a bat. And of course, that was all wrong. And yet, we had a massive censorship apparatus kick into gear. We had the CEO of YouTube, Susan Wojiki, who passed away recently, rest in peace, go on CNN and say anything that goes against World Health Organization recommendations,

we're going to remove. And this is exactly what they had, prepared for. If you look at a event 201, funded by Bill Gates, the World Economic Forum, hosted at Johns Hopkins, they did a whole exercise where they plotted, how are we going to silence everyone who disagrees with us during this crisis? We got to shut down journalism. We got to shut down the spread of misinformation on social media. And as you said, they're doing it now in preparation for a cyber pandemic. They're doing it now to prepare for a run on the banks. They're doing very similar exercise. That's right. When you read the fact for the future, they actually tacked on two additional agreements, including the Global Digital Compact.

They have a big section in their Objective 3 that deals with what they call information integrity. And this commits the UN, all of the UN's agencies and all of the UN's member governments to waging total war on what they call misinformation, disinformation, and also hate speech, which for those who don't know, that was a term introduced into the UN lexicon by the mass-murdering dictatorship in the Soviet Union. so you get a sense of what it's coming from. What do you do in October? You stay pretty buttoned up typically, right? Like you do all the right things. There's no time for messing around. These are big moments. You're in a close election. You do everything you can to get every last vote, right? Correct.

Okay. I ask again, and you asked this question, you mentioned this question yesterday as to why you were not worried about the Longshoreman strike as much as you think you should be. With a caveat. With a caveat. Yeah. The caveat is, I don't think we're dealing with the way politicians and, you know, governments have always worked. Everything's changed. Maybe that's true. But like, we have five weeks to the election. Yeah. You have number one, a situation with Longshoremen going on strike. As you mentioned today, you went through the timeline of this in hour one. If you didn't hear that, go back and listen to it.

that you're listening. So you should not panic today. You know, you might want to go to the store and get some extra stuff if you just want to be really prepared. But starting next week and by week three and definitely by week four, at week four, we're at a national crisis. Week four. That would be the week before the election. Yes. Okay. And yet somehow this strike is going forward despite the fact that the president of the United States, Dan, even in background reporting, does want Kamala Harris to win. It's not like he's, like, trying to sink her presidency, even though he's seemingly angry because she's blowing him off all the time. Why isn't this coming to a halt? Why isn't he using all of his power to make sure this doesn't happen? Because, not because he cares about the longshoremen,

or not just because he cares about the U.S. economy. He seemingly wants to sink that, but because he cares about the future of the power, that he's worked so hard and she's worked so hard to gather. Okay. So let me start with the official reason. He's not getting involved because the president should not get involved in union fights until it becomes a real problem. I ask, was that worth saying?

It is such a ridiculous. I just want to make sure. I know you're just doing your job. Yes. But that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. in my life. They get involved in everything. All of a sudden, they're libertarians. Yeah. And they, he stopped the train strike before the train strike happened. He got involved in that one. He heavily involved. Right. All he's done is talk about his accomplishments with labor.

Okay. So why wouldn't he get involved this time? Yeah. Say, hey, guys, do this after the election. Why wouldn't he stop this? I mean, I have my answer. And, and, and, My answer is probably the answer that everybody else is coming to the conclusion on. It is, that's not the goal here. The goal is not to win the election. The goal is to cripple the United States and to create a polycrisis. So let's just say it's a close election. okay and there's arguments back and forth after the election which it would be shocking if

there wasn't that situation how do you make that worse i mean they keep inventing new ways uh-huh well here's one you make it worse by taking the economy and making the economy even more unstable okay when because look if those who believe with good reason that this government is not for an America the way we know it, they have to give it the final blow to put it out to be able to restart in a new system. Okay? And you can't do that without, with just one crisis. You need a poly crisis.

You need a financial crisis. You need a war crisis. You need an election crisis. You need a financial crisis, a pandemic crisis, and an election crisis. You have to have more than one. Okay. But and I think, because this adds to another question that I have, it's on the same front. You have this hurricane that's going through all of these swing states.

You have Georgia, North Carolina. And I mean, Florida, there's even been close polling in some. some circles. You have all the stuff going on in these really important states. And they seem to be completely unconcerned to even giving the appearance that they're doing a good job. I mean, they're not even doing the press conferences in front of the rows and rows of trucks. Today they're out there, I guess, a little bit. But, I mean, it's been a pretty bad response.

Even just we, I'm not at all surprised they would be bad at doing this because they're completely incompetent. If that's what it was, I would be, would not be surprised. But it's not even an effort to tell the story that they're doing a good job. Again, if you want the, because the polycrisis thing, and I know you're down this road and I'm not surprised you are, but like, wouldn't that be best done after you had power?

You are about to blow the power that you have. Just flush it down the toilet if you'd lose this election and give power to the man you call, you know, Orange Hitler? Well, yes, if it's clear, if it's clear victory. And this would add to a clearer victory. But, you know, you also, you know, all you need it to be is close. And it'll be, you know, Biden wins the popular vote and Trump wins 270. You think that's going to stop them?

You know, they're going to say, no. see, that's why we have to get rid of the electoral college. It'll be a crap storm, okay, no matter what happens. That's not the way I've usually heard that term utilized. CERR FCC. So let me give you a couple of scenarios. Why do they not respond on the hurricane? Scenario, number one, take them at their word.

They are. People in those states just aren't seeing it. Donald Trump is lying. You know, whatever. Okay. So there's scenario number one. They are. And you just don't see it.

Don't believe that one. Scenario number two is they actually believe this stuff. What do you mean this stuff? If you go to the FEMA website, FEMA is no longer what we thought it was. We told you at the time when they were changing all this. Warning, they're changing everything. It's no longer really a federal emergency management.

They're going to manage prior to and then manage our problems. Okay. So here, according to their own website, there are now three goals for FEMA. Okay. Okay. What do you think FEMA's number? one goal has always been.

To respond quickly to a national emergency. Okay. Goal number one, not that. Not that. Goal number one is to instill equity as a foundation of emergency management. Now, so in other words, if this were a traditionally oppressed group, which I think Appalachia could easily qualify that, but too white. No, no, no. too white. Okay. So what does equity have to do with this? White people wiped out. Okay, well,

they get what they deserve. You know, we're going to focus on those oppressed. Okay. That's, that's the, that's what equity is about. Goal number two, lead a whole community in climate resilience. Well, they're doing that job. They're on television saying this is all climate control. This is all the problem with the climate. these things are going to happen. And they pass their multi-trillion dollar climate bill that they called the Inflation Reduction Act. So out of the three goals, they're accomplishing number one and number two by not acting. Number three, their goal is to promote and sustain a ready FEMA and prepared nation.

So what does that mean? to promote and sustain a ready FEMA and prepared action. Well, ready for what? Goal number one, instill equity. Goal number two, lead the community in climate resistance. Resilience. So when does FEMA come in? FEMA will come in as everything is being rebuilt and say,

no, no, no, you can't build it that way. No, no, no, we have to have climate resilience. This isn't climate resilient. That's their mission. So now, perhaps they actually believe in that mission. This isn't helping a community that has been historically oppressed. So that's where equity is number one. we're going to do our job, but it's climate resilience.

It's not the emergency. And the third reason is we're here to promote those two things and prepare the nation for those two things. I mean, that logically, without any ill will towards anyone, I don't have to assume I can assume the best of them. and make this case. That's why they're not responding in the traditional way, because that's not what they do anymore.

But understand where are my tax dollars? Understand your tax dollars will go to build the resilience after. This is like you've been paying your mortgage on your house, and the bank says, by the way, we're no longer doing that anymore. you know, you still have to keep paying the mortgage, but you're out of that house. We're doing apartments now. So you pay for that house and here's your apartment and you have to pay for that too.

That's what's happening. They have told you through your taxes are going for emergencies. Well, here's a huge emergency. They're not responding to it because they've changed the game. I mean, in some ways too. this appears to be their backhanded way of implementing many of the policies they've wanted for a long time. For example, it's really hard to sell people on, let's say, reparations. Yes.

You know, people don't support that. They don't like it. Kamala Harris is running away from her past positions on it. One other thing, Stu, if you have a community without water and you have no food and there's no infrastructure, how do you think those elections are going to run in those states? Poorly. Yeah. How do you think those people even show up to cast a vote?

That's a good point. Yeah. These are not exactly hardcore Democrat areas. No. You've just taken a huge swath of Donald Trump's voters and made it pretty difficult for them to go vote. You think FEMA is going to go out there and set up voting booths back in just a second? What would it take for you to be able to sit back and heave a sigh of relief, knowing your financial house is in order and you're prepared for the best of your future? We all have to prepare.

I think we should all learn FEMA and the United States government is not going to save you. They are not going to save you. We have to save each other. To me, 25 times past Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris is awful and she does a lot of irritating things and she'll be a terrible president. God forbid she wins. He's like just so much more irritating and annoying to me. Like I can't understand how anyone can like him.

I think I have found Stu's waterboarding. It's just him trapped in her room with Tim Walz and Andrew Cuomo. His head would explode. It does too. But I don't under, I don't know why, like, people are like, oh, well, he's going to be very relatable. He's a relatable guy. And people just love that Midwestern charm. Do they?

Do they? Because if they do, they should all be shot off the planet into the sun. Because anyone would fall for this. It's so, oh, I know. I can't stand it. I can't stand. That's, that's what bothers me. This would be so fun if the rest of America was like, oh, yeah, no, I see it.

I see it. Yeah, it just seems so obvious to me. I know. I know. And I do think that there is a very low hurdle that has been set for J.D. Vance tonight. Everyone seems to think he's the worst person in the world and he only says strange things. And he's weird. He's so buttoned up.

He's just like, like, I think he does a pretty good job. He's done a good job in these interviews. interviews. And I think he can do, like, him. He doesn't take any crap without getting angry. You know, he doesn't get angry at all. You're, you lost your voice because of this. This stupid impression is killing my voice. I think our politics can sometimes bring out the worst. I see it as a dog park that.

How is this happening? How is this ticket happening? How is it happening? They're so... They're both so embarrassing. Like, is it possible that this is what we have in this country? That we're just throwing up this guy who says he's a football coach and a stepping in poo-poo. Those are like his main qualifications to be vice president of the United States.

Well, he also carried a gun in war and he went to Tianmen Square. Yeah, I killed Osama bin Laden. I mean, the guy's got some qualifications. Yeah, I mean, this guy's great. Oh, my gosh. I just, I don't even know what to do other than just a mock it. It's just a laugh at it. It's so disturbing.

We're about, I mean, this debate tonight is a joke. You have one guy who's, who's done what with his life? Like this, this, none of them have done anything. None of these things are true. I have no idea who he is. Everything he's told us about his life has been a lie. Even the, the, the process that created his daughter, they lied about. even that foundational thing in their family they lied about.

He's lied about everything. And he's accomplished what? They're like, oh, J.D. Vance is weird. He's a, what has he done? Um, he came up from impossible poverty. He served in the military, didn't lie about it constantly, became a venture capitalist, wrote a bestselling book, had a movie created, became a U.S. Senator is now a vice presidential candidate.

That's an American story that you'd make a movie out of. It's an incredible story. They did make. I'd like to remind you they did make a movie. His life, if you haven't seen Hillbilly Elegie, it's unbelievable. It's unbelievable. Everybody should watch that. I mean, you watch that and you think, I wish I had a kid like that.

I wish I had a grandparent like his grandmother and his friend. and his family is really screwed up. Have you seen it, Sarah? Oh, you got to watch it. You got to watch it. It's unbelievable. Have you seen it? I actually haven't seen the movie.

You got to see it. Have you read the book? No, I haven't actually read the book. I mean, I've obviously read a lot about it. You should watch that before tonight's debate. It tells you everything you need to know about him. It is, honestly, you watch it. And the childhood this kid had was terrible.

No, no, no. You don't even begin to understand. And just horrific, horrific. And then finally his grandmother takes him away from his mother, who's just out of control. And his grandmother isn't that great. She's rough around the edges a little bit. Yeah, a little rough around the edges.

but she turns out to be great. And she finally looks at him and just balls him out as a 10 or 12 year old and says, you have a chance to get out of this. You're smart enough. But I'm beginning to question if you are. You apply yourself and get out of here. And he does. And he ends up going to Yale.

And as he's in Yale, or as he's getting his interview to intern for, for some law firm. His mom is in the hospital. I think she tried to kill herself. I can't remember exactly. But she's in the hospital and he's having to juggle this whole thing. His girlfriend, who's now his wife, he didn't tell her about his family.

She had no idea. He was so deeply embarrassed by it. And his wife steps up is now his girlfriend in the movie. They're going to college at the same time. and she like, why are you just going? What is happening with your family? And he doesn't say anything. She just shows up.

And it's amazing. It's amazing. This guy is a true American success story. It is somebody who had every disadvantage, every disadvantage except his color. But he grew up without a dad, he grew up an abusive household with alcoholism everywhere. No one around him was successful.

The only mentor he had was his grandmother. And his grandmother, as you said, a little rough around the edges. He did it himself. It's incredible. And he's married to the daughter of immigrants as well, right? That's why he knows they're eating those dogs. Can you imagine?

Like, they've tried to pin him I know. As an anti-immigrant guy. I know, I know. After all this. Yeah. You've got to watch it. Hillbilly elegy, if you haven't seen it,

it is really worth your time. I thought it would be good, but it's great. It's really great. Glenn! I like movies, too. I eat a popcorn. And I crunch, I crunch, I crunch.

And I don't want to assign evil a party or a person. person. I can't say anybody is evil. I can say actions are evil. And evil is happening everywhere. It's not just on the left or the right. It's growing. I don't know. I've never, I've always

intellectually understood evil as an entity. And that when you start giving it power, it just takes more and more, but I understand it viscerally now. And I think you can see it if you have eyes to see and ears to hear. You can see it, that it is just, it all seems to connect, it all seems to be moving in the same direction, and it uses the same tactics, and it's all about this bloodlust. I heard somebody a couple of weeks ago say that this is my body, which has given up for you, which as Christians, we mark that every Sunday, that night in the upper room, the night he was betrayed. He took the bread, broke it, this is my body, which has given up for you. And we renew

our covenants with him and invite him into our life should be every day, but on Sundays, that's what that is really for. We commemorate that on Sunday. If you're a Christian, and it marks the ultimate act of love and sacrifice. Here's one individual choosing to give his body, his life, give it up so we can have eternal life, right? Ultimate act of sacrifice and love. But we are living now in a world where evil exists and has perverted. everything. Evil doesn't just destroy. It perverts. It turns everything into the opposite. Good is evil. Evil is good. So that's the mantra that we would say on Sundays, this is my body, which has given up for you.

But there's the polar opposite of that now. And it has such deceptive power to it. My body, my choice. And it sounds liberating. But I think we should look at what's behind those words because it's no longer, this is my body, which is given up for you. Instead, it's become, this is your body, the kids, the child inside. This is your body, which has given up for me. An innocent life, a child's life, sacrificed at the altar of convenience, at the altar of fear, or the altar.

of self or the altar of illusion, deception. It's a blood cult that we're seeing. And I hate to say this to sound like I'm condemning these moms because I'm not. I can't imagine being in their place. And I have more compassion because of the work we've been doing with preborn. We've been to these clinics. I've talked to these moms. And they're good. people, they're just trapped. They don't know what to do. Some of them are not, but they don't know what to do. And so they have bought into this lie. You know, Christ offers eternal life through the sacrifice of his body. But Satan demands the sacrifice of other lives for mortal gain. Those who really know what they're doing, those who are going in and look at this as a form of

birth control, that's satanic. It's the whisper of Satan. Take this life so you can live more comfortably, more conveniently. You, you, you, you. Many of the mothers that fall into this trap are not thinking, me, me, me. They're thinking, I have no way out. The question I think, we, We, you know, the Satan, he's asked the same question forever. What are you willing to give up so I can continue to deceive you? His methods haven't changed. The Old Testament, the pagan God, Moloch, demanded the blood of children as sacrifice. The people of Israel, warned repeatedly by the Lord, still fell into the trap of abortion.

In Leviticus, God commands, you shall not give any of your children to, offer them to Moloch and profane the name of your God. Yet even the most faithful fell into the temptation offering their children's lives for the promise of prosperity and security. Moloch just has a different name today. But the sacrifice is the same. We have new altars disguised under the banner of choice, of progress, of personal freedom, of convenience.

But the promise is the same. Offer a life and you'll live better. freer, unburdened. But it's something I didn't understand until I actually needed it, until I really needed a faith that would help me with parameters. I thought they were always constraining, but it's freedom, actually. The bondage is buying into the lies. In the next five weeks. I just, I pray that we will hear the call of the Lord to choose between life and death. He says, I have set before you life and death. Blessings and curses. Now choose life so that you and your children may live. Christ chooses death for himself so we can have life. Satan asks us to choose death

so that we may cling to the fleeting moments of this world. My body, my choice. When you're hearing stuff tonight in the debate, assuming they're going to talk about this, it's really a question of who we worship. Whether we know it or not, do we bow to the one who gave up his body for our eternal salvation, or do we bow to the one who demands the sacrifice of the most vulnerable

so we can live in fleeting comfort? And that's what it is. And again, I'm not condemning these women. They've been misguided. They've been lied to. And they feel trapped. We're told to open our eyes and ears to deception. We're called to remember that true love sacrifices oneself for the good of others.

There always be a choice set before us. Always. Opposition in all things. And that's important. It's the only way we grow. It's the only way you can sharpen a knife. opposition, but there's always a choice. Which path do you follow? The seductive whisper that in the end demands sacrifice but gives nothing in return, or choose life, choose to honor our bodies,

not by sacrificing others, but by offering your own in love. That's what so many people are doing right now in small ways all across the path of Helene. They're offering their bodies. It's not just money, it's their bodies. They are going out and they are cutting trees, trying to find loved ones. And what motivates that? It's not ease or convenience. We see the sacrifice that people are making right now.

We see it and we know it that it's good. We don't see those things very often. Those are the things we should seek out. Back in a minute. If you have friends or family that are headed into the mountains or who live there, the looting has picked up major steam. was advised yesterday by a county sheriff to make sure that anybody out and about is carrying. And in his words, carrying with the safety off. There are very aggressive people out there.

And I'm just going to go ahead and say this. It's not because they're necessarily awful. They're desperate. Desperate people do desperate things, y'all. And why are they desperate? Because there's no water in some of these communities. We have neighbors in North Carolina with no water. And all I can say is this, the government ain't coming to save you. Not now, not ever, because they don't care about you the people anymore. It is the citizens who are going to have to step it up. I was asking people like, why are you bringing it to me? Some of y'all don't even know me. And they said, well, we don't trust the relief organizations anymore. Y'all, we have lost our organizations to grifters. We have lost our organizations to liars. And so we have to rely

on each other because that's how this country was built. This country was built patriot by patriot but can I just remind y'all of something you cannot eat money you cannot drink money so for those of y'all that thought money was your god and by the way that includes our freaking elected officials it's not your god told my girlfriend this morning while we were talking about this during our run I said tell your children she's got grown children this is why you keep a stash of water on hand this is why you keep a stash of food on hand y'all the biggest thing you can do pray pray right now pray fervently that people will turn their hearts back to God and pray for a head to protection around all those who have seen things they should never have to see mercury one
