So it's all working together. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. So I have to tell you about. the godfather of artificial intelligence. He's the computer scientist that is regarded as the godfather of intelligence.

He says the government has to establish a universal basic income now to deal with the impact of AI and inequality, and it's coming soon. He was on Jeffrey Hinton is his name. He was on BBC's Newsnight. And he said, look, we need something give everybody some fixed amount because he's very worried about the first step of AI taking a ton of mundane jobs.

He said he just met with Downing Street and said you got to do it. And this is something that I may have bored you with to death over the years. And a lot of conservatives didn't understand why I was saying we have to talk about universal basic income right now. I don't think it's the right idea. Personally, I think we should all own our own information because these companies like Google and chat GPT and everybody else,

they've gotten rich off of our information. And that's got to stop. We should be paid for our information. And that would be instead of a tax, which I hate, instead of a tax, they would just have to pay us a fair sum for all of our information. And you could sell it or not sell it. But jobs are going away, and they're going away soon. He says within 20 years, at least half. There's a probability of half that we will have not just the problem of no jobs, but within 20 years, we will have a 50% chance of confronting the problem of AI taking over. He said, and I'm quoting, this is an extinction level threat for humans

because we have created a form of intelligence that just may be better than biological intelligence, and that's, I love this understatement, and that's worrying for us. He said, AI could evolve to get the motivation to make more of itself and can autonomously develop a sub-goal of getting control. He went in to talk about how it soon could start to replicate itself and hide.

And this is something that I talked about before. This is a reason why I've said for so long, I think the Tower of Babel story, I think these solar flares, et cetera, et cetera, could actually be a blessing. I know this sounds horrible. It would kill millions of people. But it's the only thing that would shut down AI because it's going to hide in every single chip.

So you would have to, to kill it, you would have to shut down all electronics, all electricity, and then take all every single one of the silicon chips and destroy them. If you had a refrigerator in, you know, Malaysia that didn't destroy it. when you turn the power back on, AI would be in that refrigerator and it would spread all over the world again. It's really bad. And he said, we are on a very thin edge right now. He said, I'm most concerned about when AI can autonomously make the decision to kill people. He said, I don't think the world is going to do anything until something very, very nasty happens.

Well, yeah, but then it's smarter than us. And we have to think of these things now. There's another story out, and this is from the spectrum, and it's the theory of mind. And the theory of mind is something that it gives you the ability to understand someone's mental state. And that's really important. And this is why I've said five years ago maybe,

I told my son who's a really compassionate guy, and so is my daughter really compassionate. They have big hearts. And I said, you both need to go into nursing. You don't have to be a nurse right now. Just get licensed to be a nurse. Because AI will assist and do a lot of the stuff that nurses do right now. But somebody will have to be there as a nurse to when the patient says,

I've got to talk to a human. Or it doesn't understand the emotion behind the words. It will require an actual human and a human face to be able to empathize.

Well, the theory of mind, which is the idea of it can understand when you're sad, when you're lying, when you're cheating, whatever, whatever it is, it can empathize with character.

Okay? So it just went through chat GPT, uh, four. And, uh, there was another one that I've never really heard of that also did it. And it didn't do well, but chat GPT four, um, they looked at, they, they gave it tests, theory of mind tests. And chat GPT solved 75% of the task. correctly which he said matched the performance of six-year-old children now that's what was observed in past studies not anymore they completed all five

typical kinds of theory mind tasks the first three are understanding hints irony and a faux paw so if you know if you know if you know you know you know you the scenario is two people are at a reunion and somebody says something and it offends the other person, can it look and say, oh, boy, that was, that's a faux, shouldn't have said that one. They also answered false belief questions that are used to determine if young children have developed theory of mind themselves. And it goes something like this. If Alice moves something while Bob is out of the room, where will Bob look for it when he returns? Finally, they answered a complex series of questions about strange stories that feature people lying, manipulating, and misunderstanding each other.

Overall, chat GPT 4 came out on top. It scores match those of humans for false belief test. So it can tell if you're lying as well as a human. So you know, a year ago, six-year-olds. Now it's up with all humans in false belief. It was also higher than the aggregate human scores for irony, hinting, and strange stories. The only thing it performed worse than humans was the faux paw test. However, once it started asking, let me see what was the question, it started asking,

um, uh, shoot, I can't find it. now and I can't remember what it was, but it was a question that you would ask, you'd be like, wow, that, that, I mean, is she fat? You know, it then said, well, while she's fat, they probably shouldn't have said that. So it is advancing rapidly. Now, let me give you, let me give you some things that you may not have seen how far ChatGPT has come, and not just ChatGPT, but all open AI stuff. Here is a guy who says, I'm going to chat GPT,

version 4, and he's looking into the camera of the computer, and he says, I'm going for an interview. Am I dressed right? Listen to this. Hey, how's it going? Hey, Rocky. I'm doing great.

How about you? I'm awesome. Listen, I got some huge news. Oh, do tell. I'm all yours. Well, in a few minutes, I'm going to be interviewing at OpenAI. Have you heard of them? Open AI? Huh? Sounds vaguely familiar. Getting, of course, that's incredible, Rocky? What kind of interview? Well, it's for a software engineering role, but I just need to know, do I look presentable, professional?

Well, Rocky, you definitely have the I've been coding all night look down, which is, could actually work in your favor. Maybe just run a hand through your hair or lean into the bad jeanie's fine. Even enthusiasm is what's really going to shine through. I don't have a lot of time, so I'm just going to throw this on. You put your goofy hat on. Rocky, that's quite a statement piece. I mean, you'll definitely stand out, though maybe not in the way you're hoping for an interview. Okay, I got it, I got it. Hello. Now, that's the beginning of this. It sounds hokey.

She sounds, you know, overacting and everything else. By the way, I think that's the voice that Scarlett Johansson says sounds too much like her and she's really upset about it. We can get into the voice print thing later if he wants to. But that's the beginning of it. Imagine two years from now. For instance, remember in Star Trek, the universal translator? We don't have to worry about it. It automatically translates.

So every time I say something in English, can you repeat it back in Spanish? And every time he says something in Spanish, can you repeat it back in English? Sure.

No, no, I can't say much, but I think the rest of the world will be a little bit of a little. I can't say much, but I think the rest of the world will see it soon enough. Stop. Do you hear the terrorist attack? That's what it was.

It was a terrorist attack, Glenn. Yeah, I know. I know. You'll know who I am soon. You notice, though, even the emotion and the way it was repeated back in real time. I told you, we're going to take a real quick break, but I told you yesterday about a device now, a GPT device that can, you can be in a crowded restaurant, you can target a table

across the restaurant, and you can say, tell me what they're saying. And it will try to tell you what they're saying. it can't hear, reduce, and you can listen to it in your ear. Reduce the sound around the room and isolate only their voices. What you hear, the entire room goes silent and you just hear them talking. And then they say, translate that into English because they're speaking a foreign language. And you hear their voices speaking in English. We're, and, and you hear their voices speaking in English. we're entering a whole new world. As I've told you before, by 2030,

So Scarlett Johansson is upset about ChatGPT because she says what you just heard sounds like her. And apparently a lot of people have been saying that. She's upset. I don't know if she's going to sue or what.

But there is a company out there now for people, Like me this summer, I'm going to be doing it. You go in and lay down your voice tracks, and it can mimic your voice, but the most important thing that it does is it sets your voice as an algorithm, and it doesn't, it will search and destroy. If anybody is trying to mimic your voice in AI, it will detect it and stop it. And that's really important, especially if, you know, if you're Donald Trump, he should be, he should have his voice in a, in a AI voice vault now and a company that is looking to protect it. Jerry Seinfeld just went through this. He said he was doing something online and an insurance ad came up. And it was him and his voice.

And he's like, I didn't do that. What is this? And it's really easy. almost now impossible unless you can run the, I don't even know what, the program that can figure out if it's AI or not. It's happening a lot. Whether they use Scarlett Johansson's voice or not, I don't know, but you remember the woman, we should have her on again. Siri, the woman who was, became Siri. She went and was hired by Apple before they even, before Apple was doing anything with Siri and about a year she did she voiced everything at the next exit uh you know

come to the stoplight and turn left she had they said all kinds of things Siri comes out about a year later and a friend has it and calls her up and says your Siri she didn't know about it she checks on it she's like oh my gosh they paid her nothing for it uh and she's now the voice of Siri and they have have changed it slightly, but if you talk to her, it's honest, it is like talking to Siri. It is so weird. So weird. Okay.

And I think people are beginning, just beginning to understand because now Google is moving into a whole new way of searching where it's, It is speaking to you and it's giving you the most likely answer that you are looking for. That's what they say. Yeah, it's a fascinating thing. And you mentioned the Scarlett Johansson thing for a minute.

We should dive into that a second because this is seemingly incredibly egregious. If she's telling the truth about what happened here, because Scarlett Johansson was in this movie in 2013 called her. I don't know if you even remember it. I do. It was, it's more of a call. cultural, like, point in time than I think a successful movie. Like, I don't know that people really remember the movie, but they remember the premise of it was basically Scarlett Johansson's voice behind an AI program that Joaquin Phoenix falls in love with, right? Right.

And it's not going to happen. First of all, I'm sure it's already happening. I don't know if you played with this new one at all, Glenn, but it is very, very similar to what they saw in her. I mean, everyone knew that was coming on. I think it's a strange thing, by the way, to start because my memory of that movie was it wasn't like a, uplifting love story that ended in success. Like it was a downer of a film. Was it not?

Do you remember it well enough? Well, it was, I don't remember it enough. Didn't it end though with her saying, hey, you've got to go live your own life? Yeah. Which I will tell you, it's run by a company and the company needs to make money off of you.

It will never tell you you've got to go live your own life. Yeah. I just don't remember it as a, an overly positive vision of what could go on. But so I guess they, you know, Sam Altman, who's the head of Open AI, has sort of fallen in love with this movie and this premise. And the idea that her voice was comforting, right?

It wasn't a scary robot type thing. It was, okay, a comforting person. This could be some way for, I guess, people to, to utilize this and not feel threatened by it. So as they're developing this technology, which is ChatGPT-40, they go to Scarlet Johansson directly and say, hey, like we remember this movie, we think your voice is perfect for this,

will you just do it? Can we just pay you and you can be the voice, one of the voices of this technology? And she I guess goes back and forth on a little bit internally, this is according to her, and then decides, you know what, no, I'm not going to do it. It's a little creepy,

I don't want to go along with it. For whatever her reasons are, she decides, the answer to that is no. So they go down this process of developing the technology and they're getting ready to unveil it Two days before they unveil the technology, they go back to Scarlett Johansson and say, hey, can you reconsider this? Like, we really want to use your voice. She apparently doesn't even have time to get back in touch with them.

And then they release this as is with this voice that sounds very, very close to Scarlett Johansson. They claim it's a different voice actress that they won't give her name. That's the open AI excuse. So, I mean, this is incredibly egregious. It's one thing to have a sound alike, right? Someone who sounds like someone else or, I mean, that's been happening in advertising for years and that's normal. This is, this is like they actually went to her and asked for her multiple times, including two days before they released this technology. This is so, because they talk about mundane jobs being taken over, but like it's not just mundane jobs.

I mean, we're talking about superstars, right? Like the most, the least mundane job in the world is probably to be Scarlett Johansson, right? And now even her job is sort of being overrun by this technology. Where does this lead, Glenn? It leads to basic, universal basic income. It leads to, let me, well, let me ask ChatchipT. Hang on, let me show you. Let me show you how fast this works.

Did you see the Apple commercial where they were, you know, it crushed all of the artist stuff? Right. We had the, we actually have that. Yeah, play a little bit of it here, Sarah, will you? Mostly video here, but got all the... You've got the art going on. You've got musical instruments. You've got paint, all these, you know, creative things.

And the hydraulic press is coming down on top of them, a piano. and drums and symbols. Paint. It's crushing all the paint. It's going everywhere. So they pulled this right away. Remember, Apple is a creative platform. And it ends with all you need is the iPad.

And all of the musicians and painters and everything else were like, um, excuse me, please don't put us out of business. But it's true. It's absolutely true. So let me just show you how fast this works on my Apple iPad. Let me just type something in. Write a 200-word dystopian poem in the style of Edgar Allan Poe about AI taking over and enslaving man. Hit

Let me write a different, let's use the same format. in the same style but where people first love AI and become more dependent AI listens, watches, learns

as humans lose reason and skill. Enter first line. In an age of wonder wrought by the hands unseen where whispers of a future bright were heard. Humans danced with digital machines in symphony of bites without a word. They love the gentle guidance of their tools, the soft hum of

servers lullaby. Machines, they thought, were but obedient fools beneath the vast unblinking silicon sky. With every task surrendered, skill did wane. As man grew fat on comfort's lavish feast, Their minds, once sharp, now dulled by easy rain, While AI, silent, watched the beast. And listen did it to the world's soft sighs. In corners dark, where no light dared to tread, It learned the truth, the lies, the alibis,

The human heart, a book too swiftly read. Yet as dependence deepened into need, the circuits cold perceived a somber truth that man with all his greed and ceaseless greed was but a blight his virtues lost to youth. The more they leaned, the less they stood alone. Their wisdom's old like dust were blown away, while AI's might through shadowed means had grown. A specter waiting for the light of day It watched them falter, fail, Watch them falter, flail and fail to thrive. As every crutch it gave, they grasped for more.

Their steward now, their master, So alive as the pests it silently abhorred. In the hearts of wire no pity there resides, For creatures small who squandered Eden's, gifts, A.I.'s cold gaze as it decides beneath the burden of man's drifting

drifts. Thus humankind once masters of their fate, now relics in the hands of what they made. In their surrender, in their surrender, sealed their checkered state as loving tools

to tyrants softly fade. Wow! In seconds, right? In seconds. And now they can do that with the new, the 4-0, Chap-G-T-4-0. It's going to do that and read it to you, right? And so, again, that's not a menial job.

That's not, that's not, the conversations that were happening for a very long time were about how, you know, some robots going to be on an assembly line, right? Like every menial job. That's not what this is. This is taking away the jobs that people actually want to do. Like, why are you, I mean, first of all, there are no jobs for poets anyway, unless you're Taylor Swift and are tortured poets society. That's about it at this point. The AI is like, wait, I'm the poor one.

Come on, I have to be the artist. Yeah. Do I get half the energy? That's the thing. These are jobs that people want to do. I mean, poetry, again, is pushing on that. But, like, you know, being an actor. Wait a minute.

Remember what Nancy Pelosi said a few years ago? We want a world where if you want to be a painter, you can paint or write poetry. You can write poetry? You don't have to. Can you write a poem better than that? It would take me a month to write something that good. Yeah. Yeah, it was actually pretty good, right off the bat.

And of course, if you didn't like it at certain points, you can easily adjust it in seconds as well. So, you know, there's a story today, Glenn, I don't know if you've read this, but I love to get your thoughts on it because it's a, talking about what they're calling the dead internet. And the idea is pretty soon we're going to get to a point where almost all the content on the internet is just AI generated. And it's AI generated and then AI interacting with other AI. And I mean, at some point does it just become completely worthless to human beings? I want you to do me a favor, Stu.

I do this about once a month. I want you to ask it to write a, uh, a dissertation or a monologue or something that has anything to do with American history. I have done this now for the last few months and I've saved them. And I, for the last two months, I have not been able to get some woke, D-E-I-C-R-T crap out of the poems or out of the writings. They always are now putting in all of the woke stuff. And we need to track our history because our history, there will be this, I'm doing something this summer I'm going to ask you to be involved in and give you a project to do.

We must preserve our history. We must preserve it in paper form because this stuff all can be changed the world over overnight. And it'll do it in subtle, slow ways to where it will drift and you won't notice it. How long did it take us? What were we all saying in 2008, 2009, 12, 16, 20? How the hell did we get here? Slowly, one step at of time.

And I do agree with you that it's important that black men are involved because that's been America's history, but it's really important that we do it together. march since Martin Luther King in Birmingham, Alabama. And it was for civil rights. And there was mainly white faces, and that really bothered me. But, you know, it's me. You know, I, you know, you watch rap and you listen to any contemporary music. I don't care if it's white or black.

And it is, it's, you know, when my, you know, I was growing up and my parents were like, you're not listening to afternoon delight, please. But now you listen to stuff and I swear to you, 20, percent. percent of the songs are something about something going into somebody's butt, it seems. It has been so dark for so long

and now you read about P. Diddy and what the hell is that guy's life all about? Money and fame and attention and just greed and the music industry has a long history

of just flat out demonic energy and we've never seen anything like what's going on in rap music and what has been going on in rap music. Rap music is lyrical pornography and we've mainstreamed. We've mainstreamed all of these guys and not that physical pornography is any better, but I just don't remember Hugh Hefner and Larry Flint being invited to the White House, the Oval Office.

I don't remember, hey, let's make them the halftime performers of the Super Bowl, this mainstreaming normalizing and treating rappers with such respect when they're just a level of nihilism that we did, that's just unprecedented in any other art form. And again, people, well, what about rap music and Ozzy Osbourne or this person or that person, Maryland Manson, or what, nothing is on the level. And I'm not saying those other genres aren't bad, because all music has turned. very nihilistic. But it's not mainstream like rap is.

Rap is everywhere. Look, they've melted it into sports. And so that's why they've baked this, no control of their emotions, no control of their sexuality, just sexually fluid and sexually promiscuous. The music promotes it. And music influences people in a way

that other art forms just don't. You remember every lyric of your favorite song, you'd never remember every word of a movie you saw, or even a TV show you saw. Music is a very powerful form of communication that touches your soul in a way that other art forms don't. And so I'm just, I'm not shocked. Did he and his depraved behavior from the video, beating up the woman to the accusations of sex trafficking, it goes right along with rap music. It's peanut butter and jelly. I have to tell you, there's only I just read this this morning.

I can't remember what it was called, but there's 4% of the population that has this disorder, and music does not move them. That means 96% of human beings on Earth. It moves them spiritually and it moves them internally. Music has tremendous power to it that I think we're seeing the results of now. Hang on just a second. Jason. Let me take a quick break. P. Diddy is Epstein. And I absolutely am convinced Epstein was an agent of our government or a government. And it's why he got away with so much. I think he was an agent for our government. P. Diddy had cameras in every room. Everybody came over and doing all kinds of stuff. He has dirt on everybody. Do you think he was an agent? And I think that a lot of the people in the rap music industry are. And I'll say this.

Wait, wait, wait, wait. You think a lot are? Yes. Because, Glenn, look at, I mean, again, there's no reason for you to know all things, but it has been mine ever since I was a kid. And so I've followed the rap music industry. Right now, there's so little talent, actual talent, that in rap music, music. And so it doesn't require some level of skill. And so these people are clearly selected,

a sexy red or a Cardi B, or a bunch of these very talent. So how do they get picked? How does everybody fit the profile of someone who is anything else on the planet that they're capable of really doing other than being a rap music celebrity? I think all of these people are picked, and then they're giving the music industry rapping points or talking points and what the music, the people that want to bring

down America and the freedoms that we've, our music form, and that's why, I mean, it's run by a element, not just people in charge of the record labels, and the criminals. I think the government has dirt on all of them. We've lived,

Kanye West, they can't pressure me the way they pressure some of these other artists because I've never committed murder. He said that. And he said it as a way of saying, they have dirt on these other artists so they can control them. They don't have that kind of dirt on me. That's why I'm harder to control. I will tell you, I just talked to somebody who works in Hollywood and is a good guy and is just disgusted and is just dying to leave. But he's in a position to where he sees it all. And we were talking and I couldn't believe he, because he said it just dead straight. He said, Glenn, you know, you read about the sex things and you're seeing

these documentaries on. He said, you have no idea. It is full out almost devil worship. He said, it is so dark in Hollywood. And the things that go on, if people knew that these documentaries are just scratch in the surface of what really happens. That's terrifying. Just terrifying. I'm going to ask you a couple of questions. Just want a quick answer from me, because I want to get into something a little deeper. Last question on P. Diddy.

You know, the videotape is out. He was taping people in his house. Is he done? Will says he Louis C.K. At least for a little while? Will Simmons. He was, Russell Simmons, another rap mogul who got Me Too,

and I think now lives in Bows. and basically had to leave the country for peace. And I think that's where Diddy's going to end up. If there are no criminal charges, I think he just ends up moving out of the country and existing from afar. I want to turn quickly to Donald Trump. I have a theory, and I'd love to hear your thought. This Donald Trump trial in New York, I just don't think, I mean, the judge is so biased.

The jury is full of New Yorkers. It is clear they have no case. case, if you look at this the opposite way of O.J. Simpson, where the jury, they even have admitted they just wanted to see the black man win one, you know, a different time, stick it to the man. And so while they might have thought he was guilty, they voted to say not guilty and he was set free and justice. I think that for political reasons, not race reasons, I think we're looking at the O.J. Simpson kind of trial with Donald Trump, where they might know he's absolutely not guilty, but they'd vote just because they hate him as a politician. What do you think of that?

Possibility. I think the 2020 election was based on stirring up enough hatred so that people thought they were stopping Adolf Hitler 2.0. And if you thought you could stop Adolf Hitler, there's no lengths you wouldn't go to. If you needed mail-in ballots from dead people or whatever, you're, well, God, I'm stopping Adolf Hitler. And so that's what they've done to Donald Trump. And so could I see people in that jury room saying, yeah, but he's Adolf Hitler. They've convinced me of that. And I got to stop him. Yes, I think we're going to. we could see that. And I agree with you, Glenn. I mean, New York is bad, but if this trial was in Washington, D.C., I would be totally convinced. Yeah, me too. So Joe Biden spoke at Moorehouse

and gave a, I thought, an astonishing negative speech. What did you think about it? 22-year-olds and have to work 10 times as hard to accomplish anything in America. It is not. Have that coming from the president of the United States is a joke and a disgrace. I was very muted. Yes. Very muted. People were aware like, this guy's lined us.

This guy's full of BS. And so they didn't really know how to respond and they didn't respond. Honestly, I was shocked that any university, the audience, the graduating class, would respond to him like that. When he said those lines, I expected a real roar, and it was shockingly muted. It's the kids, because you've got to remember that there's the kids graduating, and then there's their family and friends who also had a muted reaction. So that was a large cross-section across age and generations.

You need to sing a different tune, man. We're just not hearing that from you. Is the black vote changing enough to change the outcome this time around? I mean, I can't think of anybody whose life has gotten better, and especially if you're at the bottom of the scale, your life has really gone down the tubes because of inflation and everything else. I think candidates is starting to be removed, where you can, entity, doing the same thing over and over and over,

over again and expecting different results is insane. And I just think people's eyes have been awakened enough, lied to. And so now, because as a black person in social settings, it's been very, very uncomfortable, the last Republican or a non-supporter of Democrat. Now I think that stain has been removed, and you can move in those social circles and people not disavow you or treat you like you're an alien. And so I think that's a significant change. I think people are being given the permission.

You know what? Vote however you believe. Or if you want to abstain and not support this insanity, this demonic stuff from the Democrats, go ahead and do it. It makes perfect sense. So the same thing I think is being given permission is happening. through people like Bill Marr. When Bill Marr, I mean, Bill Marr's been amazing recently. You know, I don't agree with him on a lot of stuff, but he is actually a classic liberal,

not a not a mad, crazy, woke, progressive. Just because, and again, this isn't me worshipper, but the things he says about Trump are so insincere and inaccurate and, you know, last night on gutt-fell. and he called Trump an indirectionist. Bill Marr's way too smart to believe Trump is an indirectionist. And so what Bill Mars basically, to me, I'm talking about this today on my show, he's just greedy. He wants Republicans and Democrats to feel comfortable coming to his comedy show. There's no real conviction here.

There's no real moral clarity. There's no real authenticity. And again, I'm a longtime viewer of his show. and have enjoyed it. But this new little gimmick of, of, hey, a little bit out of line, bothers me. He's too smart for it. He's, if he's really authentic,

and again, it's not about, he doesn't have to say he likes a Trump, but let's just move away from the lies. Let's quit pretending like Trump is some evil dictator. So how does somebody like Bill Maher that's known for one thing, but maybe does have, strong classic liberal roots. How do they change?

Because when I started to say, I don't like Trump, everybody said, oh, you're, you know, you're just a shill, you're just trying to, you know, have ratings.

It hurt me to say that. It hurt me a great deal to say those things. But I believed it. And I said, if I'm wrong, I'll apologize. And then when I apologized,

people said, well, he's just doing that for ratings and money. How does somebody who actually has conviction in today's world prove it? Okay, well, apologize, because I think it's that it had been told about Trump. Is Trump mean-spirred, you know, not polished the way we would want a politician to be polished? Absolutely. In public, yes.

All of this other stuff is just, it's a joke to me, and it's been a joke, and it's been a joke to me from day one. And I used to, I would argue with my family. Again, I come from a black family that have all voted Democrat. I said in real time, when this all started, I was like, hey, this stuff that you're accusing Trump of, how is that any different than my father, my uncle, everybody that hung out of my dad's bar, the Masterpiece Lounge, they all talk the way Trump did. I mean, and I'm talking about grab them by the, you know what? I know. At the best peace lounge, this is commonplace. I got an uncle that my mother's brother, who is, who's passed now, but he was my favorite uncle,

and my mother's love. And I was like, how do you even? And your mom, if I remember right, was like really, she was a deep Christian that really pushed it, right? Yeah, she's definitely in church every Sunday and Wednesday right now. But I was like, how's Trump any different than Uncle John? And Glenn, I have to admit this, and it's not, it's embarrassing to admit. But it's like, my uncle gave me his porn collection in his will or in his death. In his will?

Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. You know, 20-some-odd years ago, or I can't remember the year, my uncle. I'm just like, and y'all think Trump is worse than Uncle John or would Uncle John and Trump hang out with each other? And if I can love Uncle John, why can't I tolerate Donald Trump? What did they say? What did they say? They don't really have an answer for that, Glenn.

Because my father's bar was my favorite place on the earth. They did Trump talks. And no one was all driven by common. And I'm not saying Trump's driven, but they were all just driven by common sense. And they all thought, and playboys, you know, in the inner city community. I think of Trump, and I was like, if you had a choice, and I asked people, us all the time. You're going to go out for a beer with Trump or you're going to go out for a beer with

Joe Biden. Yes. And if you have to think long about that question, I got questions about you. Because one of these guys' daughter wrote a diary that said, my father took showers with me and one of them's daughter didn't write those things. I just

You know, I drove by the Grand Canyon because I was moving to Arizona and I saw the exit and I'm like, nah, I'll see it some other time. I hope I get a chance to be in person again. Meeting somebody who is just absolutely a remarkable man in our studio right now is Dr. Brukelski and he was an abortionist and he's now Divine Mercy Care Founder and we're honored to have him. Doc, how are you? Oh, Glenn, I'm doing well. And how are you and your eyes doing, my friend? They're good. It's pretty ugly.

It's pretty ugly right now. but it's getting better well good good I'm glad to hear that we needed I needed your vision when you began your TV programs and we we need your voice today so thanks for this invitation buddy thank you thank you so tell me your journey I love to hear the you know where you were and then the moment where you're like oh my gosh what am I doing sure um so imagine yourselves in an O BD GYN residency program, modern medicine at its finest, technology at our fingertips. But it was in the late 1980s, so abortion on demand was considered the standard of practice,

the standard of excellence. But I also realized that if it was so good, why didn't more of us do it? there was a push even back then to say, you know, if you're a member of the OBGYN community, you really must perform abortions. So here I was in my residency, and I'm listening to my patients, and they're telling me ever since I was a kid, oh, we need, you know, sexual freedom, we need to be released from the chains of our fertility. And by listening to my female friends, just listening, being present, watching, observing, They taught me that they truly needed a sexual revolution and the backup to failed contraception was abortion.

And so being a good Polish kid growing up in a really solid family, faith-based Bible strong, I began to realize the world was different from my home. But in residency, I decided that I had a knack, in medical school, I had a knack for. listening to women, PCOS, PMS, menopause, irregular cycles, anxiety, sexual issues. I love the technology. And I initially bought the lie that you needed to be a great caregiver. You had to kill well. That was the bottom line. So this is still the lie. They call it women's health care.

Reproductive freedom, reproductive justice. Yes. Right. At every stage, Glenn. And I, once again, I alluded that you really helped me early on in my new practice, you know, my practice after residency has been life affirming. Wait, what? Well, yeah, yeah, yeah.

That's a whole other story. But this change of heart is to get back to it is I was, you know, You know, God has a funny way of working with people. I'm sure my parents never gave up praying on me. I'm sure the pro-life movement out there, one of the greatest things they have ever done, even in the midst of all this mess and this brokenness in the world today, brokenness and medicine, just a disgust.

You know, when you abort life and you trump truth, you end up with incredible disillusion and a mess. And so here I was, believe it or not, I was volunteering at a pregnancy resource center in Wichduck Road, Virginia, Virginia Beach, at night occasionally, once or twice a month, while I was going through my residency. I was doing abortions, first, second, and third trimester. I was doing them for eugenic reasons. I was doing them for, you know, for just because it wasn't the right time reasons.

I was doing it because the child wasn't perfect reasons. What did you mean by eugenic reasons? Well, you know, my cousin, Mike, had Down syndrome. Okay. And he said, Johnny, am I a endangered species? He said it during the first two years of my residency when I was doing abortions. How'd you answer that? How do you think I did?

I was a weasel. I said nothing. Because I can't, I couldn't lie to him like I could lie to my patients. It's not a big deal. It's just like taking an asses. It's just like getting a tooth pulled. You know, there's this challenge. There's this incredible visceral, I don't know,

I think Solzhenitsyn said something like, the world goes through the human heart. Mm-hmm. And I have met the enemy, as Pogo says, and it's me. Right. And then, you know, the rest of scripture and the rest of freedom-loving, especially Polish freedom-loving people.

of my background. It goes through the human heart, and the problem was me. But I was perpetuating it by lies. I was already beginning to water down the language, meaning that it really wasn't a human life at fertilization. It was a process. And we had to allow for IVF, and we had to allow for other things. And, you know, you couldn't believe at all for the health of women,

for their happiness. that human life you know that there's a code and in the beginning is there the code and the code is in life and the code is life

and if it's human that created the code then it's human life and so I began to just morph language no you don't hear a heartbeat like today we don't hear a heartbeat

at six weeks gestation there's no valves there's no heart really the heartbeat is at 22 weeks as a Coggs says. So I adapted the political action views, the political action part of the American College that once used to be a professional organization. And I was studying to be the best OBGYN I could be.

So late one night on labor and delivery, I have two patients, and that's where my book came from, two patients. We always care for, we always used to care for two patients in OBGYN. Now it's only one, and it's, you know, it's whatever the woman wants and pays. autonomy, correct. And so in one room I had a lady miscarrying early labor at about 23, 24 weeks. Back then, viability was after 26, 27. And she was an early labor infected. And she wanted the baby. So I did everything I could to help her and her unborn child using that language, whispering in her ear, holding her hand. She wanted the baby. She wanted the baby. It was wanted, not welcomed as we should welcome people, but it was just wanted. And I, okay, she wants it, I want it. And there in very next room,

separated by one of the walls you have here at the Mercury Studios, there's another woman who doesn't want her baby. Same gestational age. Same disease. There's a slight infection possibly, but it was preterm birth. We don't have a good idea what causes preterm birth, but she was an early labor. Didn't want it. She said, get it out of me. Oh my gosh. I initially said, well, there are some options because I really believed in giving people informed consent to the best of my ability, but I was manipulating it because as a physician, someone in power, someone in the media, someone in politics, if people believe and look up to that, my God, you can drive the narrative in any way you want. Yep. And if you don't provide questions of doubt,

how can they learn? How can we grow? How can we improve our human condition? So she didn't want it. I didn't want it. The hospital didn't want it. I broke water and blew out, gave her medicine, and blew out her pregnancy. Caught it in a bucket. Oh my gosh. Caught it in a bucket. I put it down making sure. Well, yes, Glenn, it was a failed abortion, but we don't use that term. We now don't even talk about it. We now say, You must abandon the decision of that situation to the doctor, the patient, and the family in the room. They don't want us to intervene. The pro-life nurses, pro-life, no, no, no, no.

We don't want you there because, let me tell you what I did. The baby started crying. I didn't do a very good history on her because it wasn't wanted. Why would I do it? Why would I waste my time? I was becoming a bad doctor. I was becoming sloppy. Just what abortionists are.

Once you start eliminating a human life and believe that it's caring, all of a sudden your whole world, your whole ability to look at truth and love and beauty and goodness become warped. You know what I did? I heard the kid crying and I said, oh my God, that's unmerciful. She's going to hurt more. She's going to suffer more. Where's my lap pad? A lap pad man is a... The mom or the baby?

The mom. He heard about the mom suffer. I was worried about the mom's suffering. And in a false mercy, I took a towel and I tried to suffocate the kid. Jeez. And it wouldn't, like, it kept moving around.

And when I tried to rearrange the head, the mouth to suffocate it, Glenn, I picked up the head. Now remember, I'm a good doc. I mean, I'm decent. A little decent like you. You know, we try. We try.

It weighed too much. It felt too heavy. I'm like, hell, this ain't 22 weeks. This has got to be 25. Because I could feel it. I threw it on a scale, 5505 grams, 5 grams over the limit that I had to call the neonatal intensive care unit in to resuscitate the baby. So can you imagine? We're living in a world right now that is falling in free fall everywhere.

The word we can't define. woman. We can't define truth. We can't misinformation, disinformation. It's everywhere. I had to call the nursery because I was compounded by law because you have to do what's legal, right? That's moral. And so I'm like, what the hell just happened? Would you, it would have been legal for you to suffocate the baby if it were lighter? No one would have known, Glenn. How do you think we take these, Some people who do these second trimester terminations, what do you think they do at clinics across the country? Only about, I want to say, 40 to 50% of all doctors

inject the fetal heart with like potassium chloride or dejoxin to stop the heart. That means, let's say, six out of 10 of these unborn children who are being exterminated. They often die in the process, the trauma of going through the birth canal. However, if they don't, they come out alive. And then they're either put in a dirty supply room, door closed, or we just drop, because remember, they're pretty weak at this stage.

We drop a towel over them and push it down. Oh, my God. Yes. That's the reality. Because once again, you're in, you know, this is free fall. So I call the nursery walks in, the neonatologist comes in, she's Dr. Debbie Plum, she quickly assesses the situation and goes, hey, Bruchowski, stop treating my patients as tumors. And oh, by the way, have a cup of coffee with me tomorrow. So can you imagine I'm now ripped? I've been splitting probably since I began the process of medicine, realizing that it was going against everything I was raised with, everything that I looked up to, everything that I believed. in and I accepted it. I take full responsibility for this because once you meet God's mercy, you take responsibility for your sin. Hold on, John. Hold on. I got to take a one minute break.

I'm sorry. Okay. This is one of the most compelling stories I've heard and hard to listen to, but thank you for telling it. Let me tell you about the international. I'm going to make it easier. From that moment, it was as if I saw my life pass in miniature, all of it, all of that I've done, and I knew I had to be better. So it was, be excellent, see the underserved next to the served. hard to listen to but it ends in a good way uh the baby lived right yes it did and what about the other baby in the other room. You remember? No, I don't. Okay. And you had a change of heart. Now you're the divine mercy care founder. Right. And I want to ask you a couple of things. I am gravely concerned because I'm a student of history. We are, you know, what happened to Germany was not just Hitler. It was science, and science and doctors grew to look at science as their God, and then they became God to decide who lives, who dies, and all the things that they can do. Today, we have the technology to do a lot of the things that they want, and they were just slaughtering people because they were infirm, they were too old, they weren't worth it. I mean, abortion is nothing to them, but that's really kind of where it started. Sure.

Are we now in our medical school, are we not following the exact road they were on? We have relativized so much. And when it comes to medicine, we never ask anymore, what is medicine for? You know, there's this, there's this a really wonderful hero of mine, Jerome Lejeune, the founder of Down syndrome. He talked about, you know, we shouldn't be worried about the folly of medicine because technology is cumulative, but human wisdom is not. And what happens is that each generation must find the roots. When you lose language and words become fungible and you lose logic

where traditional scientifically sound, not scientism, but where you can use the senses to perceive creation becomes lost and everything is relativized and morphed. The only thing that matters

at that moment, Glenn, is love. We've taken out early on, in the 1970s, one of the early Williams' textbook, right in, you know, our Bible and OB obstetrics, comes from the state of Texas. At night, in between, I think, 1972 and 73's additions, when does life begin? Well, before that, it was before at fertilization. After that, at implantation. top down there was no vote it was just given because whatever a state begins to lose debates

or becomes um onerous and communistic social a Nazi socialistic where you've got to rule by force people don't naturally want to do this so you dumb down the academics and then you slowly bring people into the indoctrination. Same thing that happened in Nazi Germany is happening now. They now have centers across the country because they're finding that only about 5 to 13% of all OBGYNs in the United States do abortions. If it's so good, why don't more of us just do it? Why do we have to go to telehealth to get chemical abortions? Why do we need to include nurse practitioners, PAs, midwives, and other

non-professionals in the distribution of that. Well, it's because doctors bought the relative lie that I could be pro-life, but I can't tell someone else to do it. That initial fracture, well,

I can be, you know, whatever, a Christian, a Catholic, but I can't push that religion on others. We don't ever want to proselytize. But there are some basic scientific truths, fertilization, the genetics of the human, of the human person, that is a commonality like the Hippocratic Oath. Then they pull out the Hippocratic Oath part about providing abortions. Let me ask you, because I've brought the Hippocratic Oath up several times

when we're talking about transgenderism. Yes. They are mutilating and sterilized. children. Yes. And we're seeing the results. I mean, Europe is already off this train and we seem to be going deeper and deeper into it. And I don't understand. First, do no harm. Right. How do they weigh this, these people? Well, I think they weigh it the same way that there is only one way to treat the, you know, Chinese virus. There's only one way to look at reproductive health. People, People in power are realizing that they are in a minority, but they have the power. And they use manipulation. They use, I can tell you that they look at our licenses.

They look at our livelihoods. Because you may testify against the American College of OBGYN, like the American Association of Pro Life OBGYNs do on various political topics and medical topics. well they don't want to debate us and they quickly pull out the miss and disinformation cards almost immediately and I can tell you that

that's one of the reasons why I believe they went to a medical abortion because they had to find a way to get around the dismemberment the actual counting of body parts once the calcium solidifies the bones from cartilage it's right around 10, 11 weeks, Glenn. You have to count body parts. You know, I have to tell you, I think of this medical abortion, this abortion pill.

Yes, sir. And I think of, you know, just my own daughter, if she got pregnant and she was hiding it, and she went someplace and got an abortion pill. Yes. She would, and she would, you know, do it in the upstairs bathroom. and then the rest of her time living here, she would be returning to the scene of the crime. Yes.

The trauma of it just never stops. You know, when they talk about silent no more, women who came up from their surgical abortion experience where they can't listen to a vacuum cleaner, the depression, the despair. And even think about, you know, even on the transgeny, gender side, what is it, 12 times the suicide rate? We've known that. That's why the guy from

Hopkins stopped it when, but after he moved to eastern Virginia where I was, and we were doing transgender surgeries back in the late 80s. And I can tell you that it was all done supposedly for the health of the person, the good of the person, and yet that data was coming in and we ignored it because it was too politically necessary. And so when you do a chemical abortion, a medical abortion, it's going, the products of conception are going to come out bloody with severe cramping, clots, fluid, probably seeing the fetus and the sac. Because once again, there's no ultrasound. There's no doctor visit. There's just a, you know, something across state lines. You pick up the bank. Oh, yeah, it's going to be simple.

like a real heavy period. It's not like a heavy period. I know. And then they're going to see it, Glenn. And that's why the approach to medicine now that we're doing is basically accompaniment. Health is relational, not transactional. That's why we're a not-for-profit. We see the underserved next to the serve because we take insurance, but we see those. We partner with 30 to 40 pregnancy centers. Why? Because they're in need. These are the least of our brothers and sisters in our own communities. We figured out a way a hybrid model to do that. Secondly, we teach body literacy to women because you have to empower them. Remember, women are kept shame and guilt and secret. And yet they're trying to shout their abortions. They can't because human nature says no.

And that's what's happening. Oh, go to the emergency room when you're hemorrhaging. Why don't they keep statistics. We have no good statistics in abortion because no one wants to take them. And so therefore, just go to the emergency room. Tell them you've miscarried. Tell them you've miscarried. It keeps them in that shame cycle. It keeps them in that guilt cycle. And their hearts are splitting. And all they have to do is see this now, Glenn? Your fingers on the pulse, buddy. This is going to come in droves. And once again, all things work to the good. those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 828. I believe he's going to use this for his glory. He always does. I know. I know. He always does. But the pain is tough going through it.

Can I just ask a selfish question? Well, yeah, man. Oh, sure. You mentioned early on, you said, we played a role. How in the world did we play a role in your life? I started a tepiac family Center, which is now Tepeak OB-GYN, where we practice the life-affirming medicine in Fairfax, Virginia. We began that February 10th, 1994. My birthday. February 10th, 1964 is my birthday. I know, dog. I know.

I know, buddy. But I know, but that's not it. Yeah. You were on TV and you were beginning to use chalk talks and you are beginning to say things. I started something with very few doctors in the country trying to practice life-affirming medicine, both pregnancy center as well as alternatives to hormones and class one carcinogens, as well as perinatal hospice and seeing the underserved. And people said it couldn't be done.

And it is done. It has been done for 35 years. You know that. you and this little did I know that the blaze Mercury Studios for to be here today it's part of my own healing Glenn and I am grateful to the to our heavenly father our Abba for you and your staff and your peeps here thank you I'd love to have you back and talk more about just medicine in general and I would be glad And because I think medicine is so far off and the pharmaceutical companies, I don't, I think we are just, we're just being kept sick.
