I am convinced, and I'll explain later on in the program, after you see a few of the things that are stacking up on my desk today, this is an effort to get you to react in a negative way.
Starting point is 00:02:54 No, you be strong. You stand up with love and peace in your heart. You understand that these people want you to react negatively. They want you to strike out. Go ahead. Take it, boy. Let the dark force flow through you. I can't remember what he was saying.
Starting point is 00:03:19 That's what's happening. That's what's happening. And I want to tell you, it spreads. Poison spread so quickly through the body. John Ziegler is here to expose the truth on an attack that has happened this week, and everybody just accepted it as fact. John Ziegler joins me next. Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Good to talk to you. Now, you are a guy who has debunked a lot of stuff, and you're usually a contrarian.
Starting point is 00:05:05 And I think that's why I know that's why I like you so much, because you are, you never take the popular side. You take the hard road every single time because you believe, you know, you do your homework and you believe something is right or wrong. John, there is this Duke BYU volleyball game story that just stinks to high heaven, and yet everybody believes it, and BYU just announced that they are eliminating this fan section because of this. And I think it's a lie. Tell a story and then what you found. Well, it is a lie. It's because of how this story developed, how it birthed, how it evolved.
Starting point is 00:05:53 and the unique factors that allowed the news media to get easily duped, including the nature, as you already alluded to, of the religion and perception related to BYU, of course, being Mormonism. Here's the story, as we were told it, that supposedly last Friday night at a volleyball, a woman's volleyball game, a Duke volleyball player who happens to be black, was subjected to continual n-word, chance against her by at least one person and then racial intimidation that was apparently so obvious that a police officer had to be stationed at the Duke bench. Now, this, if true, is obviously horrendous. Also, if true, at a sold out event, this was sold out at BYU, over 5,000 people. If in 2022, where everyone has a cell phone and where this game was being strong,
Starting point is 00:06:54 dreamed live. And we're told that saying the N-word to a black person is the worst thing a human person or human being can possibly do, except maybe not wear a mask at an inner city school. That might be worse. But this is the worst thing that can happen. This is effectively like Bigfoot sitting down in the BYU student section and there being no video evidence of it. None. I mean, this is impossible. It is absolutely impossible that in this day and age, there would be no witnesses, no video, indication of this whatsoever. But that doesn't necessarily prove it didn't happen. How did the story evolve? Did something happen during the game that made it a public issue? Was there a postgame press conference that made this a public issue? No. This became a public issue because of a tweet.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Was it a tweet by the girl who was subjected to the N-word? No. Was it by somebody who was at the game? No. This was by the, quote, godmother, whatever that means. The god's of the girl who was supposedly subjected to this, much later after the game, where she tweets the story I just told you. Okay, but yeah, but she was there, right? No, she was not there. And in fact, it now appears as if the person she spoke to, the player's dad was also not there.
Starting point is 00:08:16 So now we have a whisper down the lane situation, Glenn, and I think that's the key to what happened here. A lot of people on my side of this issue are calling this, like it's another Jesse. small at hoax and they're wondering why she didn't say they were wearing red hats and this is MAGA country. I don't think this was a deliberate hoax. I think this was a situation where everybody fell into a story that fit their self-interest. And those are always the most dangerous.
Starting point is 00:08:42 And that gets us eventually to BYU's reaction to this. But just to finish how this story gives birth, because this is really important, is that this tweet comes out from the godmother. who is running for political office. It's at the top of her Twitter page. In Texas. In Texas, she's running for, I think, a judgeship, is she not? Yeah, that'll be great.
Starting point is 00:09:05 So first, I'm looking at this and going, wait a minute here. She's in Texas, the games in Utah, and the photograph that she tweeted was not from the game. It was a photograph of her with her, quote-unquote, goddaughter, which if you were at the game, that's not what you would have tweeted out. you would have tweeted a picture from the game, along with this horrific story of racial abuse. So immediately, I'm thinking she wasn't there. She doesn't know what she's talking about. And then we later find out that she has a history of dozens and dozens of overtly racist tweets. That causes her to shut down her Twitter feed, which in a rational world would have stopped any media outlet from considering this to be credible.
Starting point is 00:09:49 But already, by the time that happened, here's what occurred. LeBron James retweeted the tweet. Now, LeBron James, as you and your listeners should know, is not a credible source of this for many reasons, including the fact that he perpetrated his own racial hoax that I believe actually was a hoax several years ago that never got fully debunked because the police just said, you know what this is one of those crimes better left unsolved really, because it didn't happen. And so he, because he makes it a cause-seleb in the left-wing Twitter sphere, it goes viral. Once it goes viral, the news media, it's like kryptonite. They have no ability to not accept this story because it's a narrative they love, right? This is where the BYU angle becomes so important because immediately, no one ever bothers to research these things. The blink reaction is, oh, BYU, Utah, of course this is what happened.
Starting point is 00:10:47 This is the way the world works. And the media will believe anything about Mormonism. My God, we saw there in a 2012 election. and they will believe that Mormons will torture your family dog on the family vacation for no apparent reason. Hang on just a second. You know what? What is amazing to me is if you've ever been to Provo, Utah, you are expecting me to believe that no one in the stands heard it or spoke up against it or witnessed it and didn't speak. you have to believe that that entire section was in on it, that everyone was in a, because there are no witnesses.
Starting point is 00:11:30 They have asked the people that were there. They've looked at the video tape. Nothing, nothing. And she said it happened on every time she served. Well, the cameras are on the audience. Not happening. Well, exactly. And let's be clear who said that.
Starting point is 00:11:45 The godmother said that, not the player specifically, which I think is. important. I think a lot of this story comes down to language. The player doesn't put out a statement until Sunday, until Sunday. And in her statement, she never uses the N-word. She says racially heckled. What the hell is racially haggled? Now, to me, in my interpretation of this, Glenn, and this is where I think we get to how society has changed, where we are now so incredibly close to racism being the criticism of a black person by a white person. That's what racism is now. And as not any racial angle to it whatsoever.
Starting point is 00:12:29 This was a very intense atmosphere at this game. It was a sold-out game, and this player Richardson played poorly, and Duke lost. It is, in my research of these cases, it's amazing how often when they happen in sports, the team that got, they had the racism against them always loses. and that plays a key role because if you read her statement, she's clearly looking for an excuse for why she played poorly and why her team lost. And so what I think happened here,
Starting point is 00:12:59 this is my theory about what happened, is that the crowd was intense, she played like crap, she was upset about it, she tells her dad about how this is incredibly intense crowd. She might even make it sound racist, these white Mormons were all over me during the whole game. her dad then in a whisper down the lane situation tells the godmom the god mom was an overt racist and running for office tweets about it
Starting point is 00:13:24 LeBron James retweets it the left gluing media goes crazy USA today calls her a hero in the headline the new york times reports about it everybody's going crazy oh my god this we love this narrative we hate mormons Mormons will do anything they're all racist and and by that time she that by that time she herself becomes invested in the story duke is not going to you know, back away from their black player, and BYU caves completely. BYU, frighten to their own shadow. They self-flagellate, they capitulate, because this is what you do in academia, especially when you're run by a lot of straight white males, which apparently BYU is, and then heck you even have the governor of Utah jump in on this immediately with no facts
Starting point is 00:14:09 and tweet about how horrible the racism is. It is in the DNA of everyone in academia when these crises happen to immediately, plead guilty. And once they plead guilty, everyone thinks, well, my gosh, the story must be true. Why would BYU guilty? Because they don't understand the dynamic, especially in academia, especially among
Starting point is 00:14:28 straight white men, where you must immediately self-flagellate and virtue signal to save your job. And then they throw this mentally challenged handicapped person under the bus. I know. This is the worst. This is the worst. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Wait, explain this because I think this is the worst part of it. So, again, this is partially my theory, but what appears to have happened is BYU and Duke, I think, is equally culpable in this. Everyone is looking for a scapegoat to make the girl feel better about herself. There needs to be a scalp, and it appears as if that the person that was chosen to be the scalp was someone who had nothing to do with any racial slurs was not even in the student section when supposedly this happened, a mentally handicapped person who is well known to come to these games, who we don't even know what the heck actually happened, was somehow near the bench after the game,
Starting point is 00:15:27 and the Duke's side identifies this person, supposedly is potentially the voice of somebody who had spewed some racial slur, and BYU bans this person apparently for life, as I call him, a human sacrifice to, it'll being thrown into the PC volcano. It's really bad.
Starting point is 00:15:48 I mean, it's unbelievable. It's really bad. Both sides deserve enormous blame for this. But this is one of those stories, Glenn, it's never going to get fixed. It's never, because it's impossible to disprove, you know,
Starting point is 00:16:01 to prove a negative. How do you prove a 1,000% this? You're not supposed to. In America, the person who makes the charge is the one that has to prove it. You don't have to prove you're innocent. Somebody has to prove that you're guilty. They had no description of the person. They couldn't tell you what the person looked like,
Starting point is 00:16:24 what they were even saying. When they identified this kid, if I'm not mistaken, they were saying it because they said, that voice sounds like the voice we heard. Right. Is that right? Right. But see, I think this is where we come down to race and religion. because we now live in a world we're right and wrong and quote unquote truth is determined by how many PC points you have in your demographics so we have a black female
Starting point is 00:16:53 who uh... who is alleging having been uh... you know the victim of racism you can't beat that unless she's gay then and then she gets a few more points but you from a point standpoint you can't beat that and you're going up against it as white Mormons
Starting point is 00:17:08 um so you got no chance white straight Mormons have no chance against a black female accusing the other side of racism. And, I mean, that sounds funny. It's partially funny. It's also reality. That's the way the media looks at this now. And once they get a narrative, they like Len, there's no going back.
Starting point is 00:17:27 I mean, this woman is a hero. We have the script we like. Let's cut it, print it, and move on. And it doesn't matter that this poor mentally challenged guy has been destroyed. It doesn't matter to BYU's reputation has been destroyed. It doesn't matter what the truth is. And that's the world we're now living in. And it is really dangerous.
Starting point is 00:17:48 It's really frustrating and it's really sad. So I want to give you some of the tweets from this woman quickly. I knew she was married to a white boy just reading this tweet. This is the godmother's responses to things. Before this incident, being married to a white woman, he thinks he can talk his stupid-ass nonsense. You're damn straight about that. white people being white. Why does CNN constantly interview these dumbass white women?
Starting point is 00:18:19 Would expect nothing less from a pale white chick. You poor white MFers can't take it. White women and men always disappoint. Last night, Chef's Table and these white people getting onto our last damn nerves. I mean, this woman is all about hatred of white people. And she's running in Tarrant County, Texas. That's Fort Worth. She's running for a judgeship.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Her name is Liza Pamplin, right? Is it? Right, right. Yeah, Liza Pamplin for judge. This woman would be dangerous as a judge. I want to take a quick break, John, one minute. I'm going to come back and I want to talk to you about ESPN and how. how fast they ran to this story.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Get your thoughts on ESPN. Tuttle Twins, this is a book series that I think every parent should have. Doing things right now teaching your kids is almost impossible. And if you don't teach your kids the truth, no one will. Guarantee it, no one will. If you're not worried right now about the Federal Reserve, what they're doing to our economy, it's possible that maybe you don't know enough about what the Federal Reserve is, what it is, where it came from, how it works. The fact that we can have an
Starting point is 00:19:50 institution that is running our economy intentionally into the ground by printing money and upholding things like ESG should concern all of us, but we don't know enough about the Fed. Know your enemy and teach it to your children what they really are. The Tuttle Twins have a book about money, inflation, and the Fed. It's the Tuttle Twins and the Creature from Jekyll Island. It's a kid's book, but it explains all of it in a way that kids and adults can enjoy and understand. It's Tuttle Twinsbeck.com. This is free while supplies last.
Starting point is 00:20:30 You can get a copy of Tuttle Twins and the creature of Jekyll Island. It's free. Go to Tuttle Twinsbeck.com. Tuttle twinsbeck.com. 10 seconds, station ID. All right, welcome to the Glenn Beck program. So the press, I think the Cougar Chronicle, which is the BYU paper, they were the first one to say, wait a minute, I don't think this is right, weren't
Starting point is 00:21:05 they? To my knowledge, yeah, I mean, I think myself and Jason Whitlock's also done a great job on this story. But I think we were trying very early to get at least to be safe. You have to be safe for the other side to say, wait a minute. And I think we were successful in doing that over the weekend. Thank you. So tell me about ESPN.
Starting point is 00:21:30 And talk radio, I mean, sorry, sports radio has completely gone off the rails. Oh, yeah. And it's all woke nonsense. But ESPN deserves special mention here. And this is a great example of the sausage being made. We have about 45 seconds. Go ahead. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Long story short. Holly Rowe, who I thought was a good report. or someone I know. I've been in touch with her on the whole Penn State paterno-sodowski fiasco that I've talked to you about many times before. I tried to warn her about this story. I said, this is not right, that you got this wrong. And she goes and interviews this woman, the volleyball player. The interview itself proves nothing happened because there's no details, no emotion, no anger, nothing.
Starting point is 00:22:13 And she completely buys in. And then instead of saying, John, you know, tell me more, she blocks me on Twitter. Twitter. Wow. Because she doesn't want to hear the truth of the mouth. And this is one of ESPN's best reporters. This is the making of the sausage in 2022, and my journalism is dead. John Ziegler. You can follow him at Zygman Freud, Ziegman Freud, John Ziegler.
Starting point is 00:22:37 Thank you so much for being a part of the program. Back in just a second. All right. The Glenn Back Program. Karen just wrote in about her dog's experience with Rough Green. She said, uh, I had to see it to believe. leave it. My dog Holly is the poster child for finicky eaters. But not only did she readily eat her foods with rough greens on it, she actively licked the residue out of the bowl. Thank you,
Starting point is 00:23:10 rough greens. I tell you, saw Uno two nights ago, three nights ago doing the same thing. Just licking the bowl, licking, licking, licking, licking, licking. He's always hated his dry food. He would never eat. Now he's licking the bowl clean. It's really, it's amazing stuff. You put it on top of your dog's food. It has vitamins, minerals, probiotics, antioxidants. If it's healthy for your dog, it's most likely in rough greens. And most
Starting point is 00:23:39 dogs love it and will go crazy. But they want to make sure that you're not out a single dime here on rough greens if your dog won't like it. So they're going to send you a free bag. It's just a little trial bag so your dog can, you'll know if your dog likes it or not. If your dog
Starting point is 00:23:54 likes it, likes it, then just order a real full bag of rough Greens and watch the difference in your dog over six months. It's, at least in my world, it has been amazing. All you do is pay for the shipping for the first bag, roughgreens.com slash Beck, roughgreens.com slash Beck. And head over to blazedtiv.com slash Glenn.
Starting point is 00:24:14 The promo code is Glenn for 10 bucks off, Blaze TV. Hello and welcome especially to those listeners in San Diego. It is nice to be back on in San Diego, the Patriot 1360 AM. Thank you so much for listening. Brand new radio station first day. Welcome to the Patriot 1360 a.m. All right.
Starting point is 00:24:47 I want to tell you a little bit about just, I want to tie some stories together. First, Big Tech and Biden administration, now we do know for sure they colluded to silence anybody who was descending on COVID. And California just passed a law. ready for the governor to sign, a law that says,
Starting point is 00:25:11 we can disbar you or take away your medical license if you say anything that disagrees with the state's view on COVID. This is extraordinarily dangerous. Now, also the trap closing for people. Jean-Pierre brands Trump supporters as an extremist threat to our democracy. okay, an extreme, not Trump, not the January 6 people. All Trump supporters are extremists and an extremist threat.
Starting point is 00:25:46 Why are they doing all of this with Trump? One of the reasons is because they have nothing to run on. They can't run on anything. So just remind people, you hate Trump, you hate Trump, but they're also picking at you. They want you to strike out. They need you. If you can't find extremist terrorists, then you have to create them.
Starting point is 00:26:09 And remember, a lot of people in the Middle East say we're very, very good at creating terrorists. This one from the National Review, the DOJ filings yesterday suggest a Trump indictment is coming. What happens when that happens? And at the same time, all these whistleblowers are really bothering Merrick Garland. he warns the DOJ employees that communicating with Congress without his authorization violates their employee standards. Now, I thought everybody loved whistleblowers. Now, you're in trouble if you go to Congress and report something that is happening that might be illegal, really?
Starting point is 00:26:54 The UN, the Racism Committee, has condemned now our pro-life laws in the U.S. suggesting that minorities face a higher risk of unwanted pregnancies. So follow me on the logic here. America is racist because many people in America don't want to kill black babies. You're not racist if you want to kill black babies. There's logic for you. Nancy Pelosi has declared that it is sinful to restrict abortion, the injustice of it all. It's sinful. She should talk to the Pope because I don't think he
Starting point is 00:27:37 agrees with it. It's sinful. Who's injecting religion and mixing it with politics? The left, their religion, their religion. I want to, today's last day before I go on vacation with my wife. And I feel it's really important to say something to you that I've never said before. This is something that I am trying to do every single day, and if you've never done it before, it is really difficult, but we have to do it. Please read the Bible. Please read the Bible every day.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Christians need to read the Bible. They need to know what our story is, why we believe these things to be true. liberals they love Shakespeare and all the words he invented. They love all mythology and the words that came from them. But they hate the Bible. It's just a horror. The left will ban the Bible if they ever got in charge because it happens. You know, the spread of atheism.
Starting point is 00:28:54 Oh, it's on the rise. Well, maybe. But they say it's like a victory that we're getting rid of religion. I'm here to tell you the same exact warning that was given to the German people in the late 1800s. God is dead. That's not a celebratory thing, gang, because we will and we are currently replacing God. The rest of that paragraph is, and that's not going to be a good thing because people will have a God who are. are they going to worship? We are now
Starting point is 00:29:33 worshiping the planet. We are worshipping our government. We are worshipping wokeness. It is extraordinarily dangerous. By the way, atheism, the only countries that have been atheistic
Starting point is 00:29:48 are those that existed by force. Communist countries. But I go back to, I don't care how you read the Bible. I don't care if you just think it's a, I happen to believe it to be true. I happen to believe that it's all based in fact.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Most people nowadays, I don't know what they believe. But here's what I know for sure. And I'm not asking you to believe it. I'm asking you to know this. All of Western society was based on that book. If you don't know that book, you don't have to believe it. If you don't know that book, you can't understand or defend the Western way of life. Let me just show you how influential this book was.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Ever heard an eye for an eye? That's from the Bible. The land of milk and honey, from the Bible. Forbidden fruit, Bible. Bottomless pit. Two-edged sword. God forbid. Scapegoat, scandal.
Starting point is 00:30:54 Land of nod. By the sweat of your brow. Apple of my. I all from the Bible. Fire and brimstone. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. A man after my own heart. Did you know that was from the Bible?
Starting point is 00:31:08 I have a broken heart. I'm at Wits' end. He bit the dust. Don't put words in my mouth. Put your house in order. He's nothing but skin and bones. By the skin of your teeth. By Ameth.
Starting point is 00:31:22 Nothing new under the sun. A little birdie told me. rise and shine can a leopard change his spots eat drink and be merry the writings on the wall it's just a drop in the bucket there's a little fly in the ointment this is all from the bible to the four corners of the earth we don't see eye to eye well this person he's salt of the earth go the extra mile pearls before swine fall by the wayside hey walk the straight and narrow that's a wolf in sheep's clothing. Blind leading the blind. The 11th hour, kiss of death. Give up the ghost. Wash your hands of the matter. The truth shall set you free. The twinkling of an eye. It's a labor of love. Live by the sword, die by the sword. A fall from grace. You fought the good fight.
Starting point is 00:32:16 The powers that be. All from the Bible. If you don't think that that book helped build our society, then can you explain why everybody knows these phrases and they have no idea where they came from? You know the famous line from the song Money by Pink Floyd? Rip off Timothy 610. Teddy Roosevelt said, No other book of any kind ever written in English has so affected the whole world of a people.
Starting point is 00:32:54 How did it do it? literary masterpiece written by uneducated men the best the bible is the best selling book of all time between five and seven billion copies have been sold for reference an estimated 800 million copies are in in print of the koran 200 million copies of a tale of two cities this is between five and seven billion copies by the way ironically it is also the most shoplifted book Christianity, Judeo, Christian principles. That's the Bible, the foundation of modern politics and law. Leviticus 2510 proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all of the inhabitants thereof.
Starting point is 00:33:45 You know where that comes from? Yeah, I know. The Bible, but also the Liberty Bell. When Martin Luther King Jr. gave his I have a dream speech on the National Mall, he was not tearing this country down. He was challenging America to live up to its greatest ideals. The greatest ideal of any country ever stated in the history of the world. The things we used to find self-evident.
Starting point is 00:34:14 And in front of 250,000 people that witnessed his sermon live there on the mall, he referenced four scriptures in the speech. Amos 524, Isaiah 45. Psalms 35 and Galatians 3 verse 28 without that book freedom as we know it would not exist no plato talked about it 300 years before jesus came to earth yes but democracy is nothing without the political freedom that that book and Christianity gave to us. The right to a fair trial. Sorry, that comes from the Jewish part of the Bible.
Starting point is 00:35:05 In fact, what's really weird, all of it is the Jewish part of the Bible. Anyway, Deuteronomy, 1915, that's a fair trial. Exodus, 21, verse 23 through 25. Are laws insistence on witnesses? Two or more witnesses comes from the Bible. You can't have fair trials without this book. Can't. You know what happens when you try to destroy the Bible and you stand against things like that?
Starting point is 00:35:40 You start to have trials like we're having now in the public, like we just talked about at the volleyball tournament with Duke University. What? What happened there? You don't have any witnesses. None. None. No video, no evidence, no witnesses, guilty. That's what happens when you get away from Judeo-Christian principles. The left's obsession with destroying Judeo-Christian principles and our religions, it is one and the same with their obsession of destroying Western society because you destroy one and you destroy the second. Just for anybody who hasn't read the Bible, please, I am not a Bible thumpin guy. I'm a guy who has struggled my whole life to read it. And I'm asking you, please read it. And think to change times and laws. What? How do you change times and laws? And they shall be given into his hand until a time
Starting point is 00:37:26 and the times and the dividing of time. He's changing times. Are you able to keep track of time? Because I'm not. You able to do that? I used to be able to go, oh yeah, that was just a year ago. I can't tell you what was a year ago or two years ago.
Starting point is 00:37:44 I've completely lost the ability to recall time. It's almost as something's happening and there's a changing of time. times they speak like children they understand like children they think like children but ultimately they're just hypocrites that want you to give up your faith your God to worship by force their God they may be able to evaluate the appearance of the sky but they are certainly not able to recognize the signs of the times hopefully you will back in a minute.

Starting point is 00:43:35 it looks like the housing market is now in a full-fledged depression not recession depression in China. What does this mean and why should you give a crap? We'll tell you in 60 seconds. You know, the old timers tell you, you give a man a phone and he'll pay a few hundred bucks. But you give a man a phone plan and he'll be paying out the nose for a lifetime. You know, some wisdom in those old timers, no matter what the people at the nursing home think. So how about you? Are you paying through the nose for your phone? service? How'd you like to pay significantly less? I'll even do you one better. How would you like to pay less and be with a company that actually likes you and supports the values that you hold? I know.
Starting point is 00:44:27 It's impossible. Well, Patriot Mobile is there and making it possible. It's the phone service for you. They have affordable plans for your budget, excellent coverage, top-notch U.S.-based customer service. Best of all, they're not donating any of your money to woke causes. We have Carol Roth joining us now, the author of the War on Small Business, a former how she likes to say recovering investment banker.
Starting point is 00:45:16 And I wanted to get her on today and ask her what this means. This according to the Wall Street Journal, the real estate giant in China has said China's property market has slid into severe depression. Hi, Carol. That sounds scary. Hi, Glenn. Happy September. What a great way to kick off the last four months of the year with a big depression in China. Right. What does it mean? So China is basically a giant mess. Obviously, outside of their demographic issues, outside of the fact that they're not really an emerging market anymore, and that's putting pressure on their manufacturing, they have this sort of confluence of things going on. The COVID disruptions, they have heat and water power issues that are
Starting point is 00:46:08 basically rationing energy. They have youth unemployment at 20 percent. And then they have this property bubble that has bursted. So basically, China did something similar to what we did. It was a communist version of what we did here leading up to the Great Recession Financial Crisis, where they just plowed a bunch of cheap money into creating lots and lots of real estate. No, like ghost cities, not lots of real estate, whole cities that had no one in them. Yeah, that literally in the middle of nowhere that, nobody wanted to live in.
Starting point is 00:46:44 And then the prices of everything just started to get out of control. One of the things that is a little bit different about, well, there are a lot of things that are a little bit different about China, but one of those things is that housing is about 70% of household wealth. People who have money that the middle class, they don't trust the stock market there, which they should not. And over 90% of households in China actually own their residence. So that compares to about 65% in the United States.
Starting point is 00:47:14 So a huge, huge amount of the wealth of the middle class is tied up within real estate. And the property has gotten crazy. Like in the major cities, it's about 50 times the average income. In a crazy place like New York, it's about 10 times the average income. So you can see that that has really gotten completely out of control. And we all knew that it was unsustainable. was just sort of a question of when Chinese policy and then all these other events kind of came together at the same time. And now like we suffered through, you know, 20 years ago, they are going
Starting point is 00:47:53 to have to endure the same thing. But, you know, with a different tenor because, you know, it's a communist country. China owns the bank. They have a, the whole middle class is sort of, you know, involved and their wealth is tied up in this. So this is a major issue for the Chinese I will tell you that this should strike everyone as more than a little odd. You know, it's not odd for us to see protests in front of banks. In China, that is akin to protesting the Communist Party. They've rolled in with tanks and soldiers and people are still protesting. That shows how unhappy people are with what's going on.
Starting point is 00:48:38 because in China, as I understand it, please correct me if I'm wrong, here we go out and find a house, then we go to a bank. In China, you go to a bank, you get a loan, you start paying on that loan, and then you go to a builder, and it might take five years, but you're paying on that. And what's happened is these builders went bankrupt and all these people have been paying on this loan and they, what, lose their money? Yeah, I mean, there's actually reports of people living. in unfinished homes. So as you mentioned, you know, the middle class in China, they've started to band together, and they're basically saying, we're not paying our mortgages anymore. And you have to
Starting point is 00:49:20 remember that China has implemented their social credit system. And one of the dings for social credit is not paying your debts, which your mortgage would obviously fall into. So the fact that they are willing to stand up against the Communist Party, against the social credit pushback, just goes to show, as you said, just what a complete disaster this is for the Chinese people and the government. So President Z, he is elected one more time. I think it's in November, isn't it? Mid-October. Mid-October 16th. So he's running for re-election and he did change the constitution that he could be dictator for life, but only after this election.
Starting point is 00:50:02 when Pelosi went out, the word is from people that I know in China that are high up in the banking world, that do business and banking over there, that they've been watching their press very closely because there's half of China and the leadership. They don't want Z. And so some of the reports that came out when Pelosi was going over where they said, He's going to shoot that plane out of the sky. They made all of these, you know, these demands or expectations of Z, knowing he couldn't do it because humiliation is one of the worst things.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Weakness is horrible in China. And so they set him up to be weak. How does this play in his election? Well, you know, we would assume that there would be fair elections. obviously that's in question even in the United States. It certainly is not the case in communist China. And so I think that being entrenched in the party, even though there is pushback, I think it would be a giant surprise if he wasn't elected again.
Starting point is 00:51:19 And I do think that censorship has played a big issue in this. Part of the reason I've been told that they've had these COVID lockdowns is because they're trying to control information. not let people talk to each other, not let people in the country to let the real tenor of what's going on out into the broader population. So there are a lot of people in China who, you know, even though they may be upset about this one particular thing, don't really have a scope on the real story and who knows what they're being told. That's unbelievable. This story leads me to something here in America. Bank of America has just started a policy that sounds very familiar,
Starting point is 00:51:59 except race is involved now. Zero down payment for mortgages for first-time buyers. And I believe this is for minorities to help minorities, black and Hispanics, grow ownership of homes. Zero down payment, zero closing costs. So just come on in. It's like renting a house. isn't this what caused
Starting point is 00:52:29 2008? You know, I know that history always repeats itself and human beings have a hard time learning from the past, but really this wasn't that long ago. You would think there would be some grace period where we go, okay, this probably isn't a good thing to do.
Starting point is 00:52:45 And it's really frustrating because it's one of those things that sounds very nice on the surface. Oh, you know, we're going to help these underserved communities build wealth. You know, that's a good thing. we want everybody in this country to be able to participate in wealth creation opportunities. The last way that you do that is at a point where we're having a top in the housing market.
Starting point is 00:53:07 The Fed is raising rates. We're heading into a recession. Prices are going to come down. And then you take somebody who can't afford the down payment and you get them paying on a house that you know they're not going to be able to afford over the long term. That's basically stealing equity from them in the long term and making the, them very afraid to continue to do that in the future. This is what they called predatory lending.
Starting point is 00:53:34 And it's being pushed, I'm sure, by the government. It's being pushed by these big banks that are all in collusion with the Great Reset. It is going to impoverish people even more. Yeah. I mean, if you want to tie this to the ESG, right, this is part of the social initiative. We have to make housing more affordable. but that doesn't do this. I mean, you know, this creates more fees for a bank at a time when they may be losing
Starting point is 00:54:02 fees and origination because the Fed is raising interest rates and that's, you know, flowing through the market. You know, it's not like they're creating a fund and saying we're going to buy up properties and we're going to allow you to rent to own. I mean, there are ways that you can do this for underserved communities that I think would be fantastic, but a zero down mortgage. And by the way, it's not like. a veteran zero-down mortgage where there's a strict underwriting process. This is a non-underwritten
Starting point is 00:54:31 process, and we know there's a reason why you do underwriting. We've seen how this has gone awry in college lending. Now they're bringing it back to the mortgage industry once again because there wasn't enough damage the first time around. Or they want to make sure that there is nothing left for people to own. Or maybe they, they, want the poor to be able to have this at the expense of the middle class, and they'll just forgive those loans. Like, you know, they're on the kick of forgiving every other loan. There's a whole, there's a buffet of possible fantastic. And none of them are good. None of them are honest. None of them are free market based. None of them are ethical.
Starting point is 00:55:16 None of them. No. It's picking winners and losers. It's letting the government and these big entities play venture capitalists in a way that they shouldn't. And it's not teaching sort of the disciplines so that we allow for these broad wealth creation opportunities, which is the future of prosperity, because we know at the end of the day, big business, big government, big special interest doesn't want that. They want to gut the middle and work in class. They want to consolidate power. And so every one of these policies you're saying ultimately ties back to that in some way. Energy prices, Goldman Sachs is now saying, just the energy prices will push the UK inflation to 22%. That is a near post-war record of 22% inflation.
Starting point is 00:56:09 That's, I mean, let me get another story here because I read here. Cost of living. Shoppers despair at cost of staple food. foods soar up to 20% in a year. That's remarkable. I mean, we're all going to see this and a lot of it is coming from this craziness of ESG with the energy. Absolutely. This is entirely self-inflicted and that's the most frustrating part of this is it could have been avoided, but it was deliberate by policy. And who is going to bear the brunt of it? It is the small businesses. It is the middle and working class. It is the poor to people who really can't afford to
Starting point is 00:56:54 have this happen. I've seen things all over Twitter and been sharing some of the stories coming out of Europe and the UK in particular with small businesses that are getting their energy bills and they're, you know, something like 10,000 euros or, you know, like multiple tens of thousands of euros. And it's just completely non-sustainable. I mean, obviously nobody's going to be able to operate under those types of conditions. It's going to be a really ugly winter. And as we're talking about not learning lessons, this should be a giant neon sign for us to go,
Starting point is 00:57:29 okay, yeah, they made a mistake. Let's just own it and reverse course. But they're continuing. They just passed the biggest climate bill and are telling about what a great thing there is as if there's not more pain and suffering on the other side. I will tell you, you know, Marx said that for a communist revolution to happen, you needed to have the working class
Starting point is 00:57:48 rise up and then they could close it down. And if you can't get them naturally, you have to create the conditions for that. And everything, including the IRS, all of these things are designed to bankrupt the middle and lower class, to wipe them out entirely. And when that happens,
Starting point is 00:58:13 you will have revolution on the street. It is, yeah, go ahead. You will own nothing. and you will not be happy because as we have seen throughout history, those that don't own anything are not the people who are happy. Yes. Thank you so much, Carol. Appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Another uplifting segment. One of these days, it'll turn around. One day we'll have good news. One of these days. Yeah, all right. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. You bet.
Starting point is 00:58:42 Relief factor, trying to lead a normal life when you're dealing with pain day in and day out, sort of like trying to get to the moon on a Pogo stick, which we might be trying, you know, we might, let's try a pogo stick. America never went to the moon. That was a pogo stick. All right. What if I told you there is a way to get out of that pain, and it doesn't involve a bogo stick. Relief factor.

Starting point is 01:00:09 10 seconds. Station ID. So a story from the Daily Wire today, actor and comedian Rob Schneider doubled down on his recent comments. saying again that he would stand up for what he believed in, no matter what the cost and no matter what might happen to his career as a result. Snyder shared a tweet on Wednesday showing a selfie he had taken from a stage with the audience behind him, his smile wide. I prioritize supporting a country that provides the same freedoms for my children that made my career possible. This legacy to me is more important to me than the next chapter of my career, Love Rob,
Starting point is 01:00:57 Schneider's tweet came on the heels of his interview with longtime conservative punant and radio host Glenn Beck whom he told on the Glenn Beck podcast that he was absolutely prepared to give up everything he had to stand for what he believed was right it's it's an amazing thing we've been trading texts back and forth and trying to call each other we keep missing each other this is not something he really expected to happen I'm not sure he likes it all that much. So you lured him in. Oh, I did. A predatory.
Starting point is 01:01:31 A predatory interview. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But he is, he's dead set on what he believes. Dead set. It's interesting. Because I had the impression that he was, I don't know, maybe not super politically active, like, tweeting about politics every day type. There's a few out there that do that. I never saw that. But I had an impression that he was maybe right-leaning, at least. And- This apparently is the first time he has done an interview where he's really explained it. And on a high profile political podcast.
Starting point is 01:02:08 Right. He had maybe made comments. I mean, he had tweeted some stuff that made you think he might be conservative, but he had never really come out of the closet, as they say. Yeah. That's interesting. And, you know, there's so many of these little controversies going on right now. Brittany Aldean, Jason Aldean's wife, said something that,
Starting point is 01:02:26 I tweeted something like, you shouldn't mutilate your children. And obviously, that's a terrible thing to say. And in country music, some of the country stars, they're lighting her up for it. Or lighting her up for it. Boy, I've got to tell you, that used to be the fastest way off the charts was to go against the country audience. And I don't think the country audience has changed. I mean, it's maybe, maybe broadened at some level. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:50 But, you know, like, I don't know that you'd say necessarily country is just conservatives anymore by any means. I mean, it's a very popular genre, but still, I think it leans that way. I think most of the country stars are still right leaning. Isn't it amazing, though, how the left is not afraid to say what they believe, but they do everything they can to make us afraid to say what we believe. They'll say it in a room full of conservatives, and they'll just look at the, they'll be alone, and they'll look at it and go, You're just a bunch of racists.
Starting point is 01:03:28 And we're afraid of a Twitter mob that doesn't exist. By the way, do you know the market penetration of Twitter? 17%. 17%. By the way, what's the tipping point? About 17%. A very small group. The Glenn Back Program.

Starting point is 01:05:19 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. We're glad you're here. I'm going to give you a couple of updates on some things and then a point to the future, something that I'm working on. Let's start here. according to the Dallas news, investigating parents of transgender youth has agency on the brink of collapse.
Starting point is 01:05:40 Here's what's happening. This is how upside down our world is. I believe, and we used to all believe this, that we would never mutilate our children. I remember when we would talk about breast augmentation for teenagers, and the only thing that any parent would ever say, was okay, I should say most parents outside of Hollywood, would say, was if it's breast reduction because of the back and everything else, okay. But you didn't augment your 16-year-old's face or their
Starting point is 01:06:16 body for vanity. Now we're fine with chopping limbs off and putting chemicals in their body that forever change them. This is how upside down the world is. In Texas, you can't do that. In Texas, we're saying that is child abuse. But the Department of Family and Child Services, they disagree. They disagree. And so they are quitting en masse. I'm not. These are just good parents, you say, mutilating their children's bodies.
Starting point is 01:06:53 They're just loving them. And so they'll stop you for anything. They will infect your. life and your family forever at the drop of a hat. But this, we draw the line there. We draw the line there. And they're saying it could collapse the entire system here in Texas. You're not seeing this anywhere else. Do you see any other DPS people? You see anybody that's protecting children for the state in any state quitting? Because they're like, no, this is, this is wrong. Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Standing up and saying, I draw the line at those people who say
Starting point is 01:07:41 cutting off the limbs or pieces or appendages of children and giving them a chemical that forever stops their growth? I can't believe you say that's child abuse. I can't believe that we should even be bothered to check in on those parents. Did you want me to go back and read the quotes about fascism primarily or the week? No, I think I got it. Now, on the good side, Kennewick School Board
Starting point is 01:08:06 in Kennewick, Washington, by the way, Kennewick is, if I remember right, is on the eastern side of Washington, eastern Washington, completely different,
Starting point is 01:08:15 at least used to be, from the Western side. Western side, too much rain. It just kind of, you got moss on the brain, I think. On the other side,
Starting point is 01:08:26 it's more conservative. The Kennewick School Board, just voted 5 to 0 on a policy which bans educators from teaching CRT or that their race determines their value or worth. Also, it requires students to learn factual U.S. history in all disciplines at the school. So that's some good news. Now, California schools. The California School District has ordered health textbooks touting 10, orientations such as andro-sexual, polysexual, gyna-sexual, and eight other gender IDs.
Starting point is 01:09:13 Scoliosexual, sexual, demisexual? What are those? Well, our kids will know. They'll teach it to us old people who just, we don't know as much as our children do. I'm doing some research on something that I want to share when I get back from vacation. And it is all on why are the pronouns and why this transsexual thing? Why is that so important to the left? We have gone from, hey, you know, gay marriage.
Starting point is 01:09:54 People should be able to marry for love to teaching our children. almost, and maybe we are, teaching our children how to use a stripper pole with a guy who says he's a woman. What the hell is going on? Why is this so important? Beside, it's the last line. You get down to minor attracted adults. You've crossed the last line. I believe you're thinking of maps, which would be minor attracted persons.
Starting point is 01:10:24 We don't want to. Yeah, that's right. Okay. Okay. This and the pronouns. Notice one thing. The left isn't interested in a second person pronoun. Okay. They are not interested in first person pronouns, I and me.
Starting point is 01:10:44 Those are the pronouns that would require personal responsibility. Instead, what they're focused on is third person pronouns. the words we used to describe people. He, him, she, her, they, them. They want to pretend to be something or someone else. Why? Glad did an interview on this on NPR. And they said, pronouns are basic, I'm quoting,
Starting point is 01:11:15 basically how we identify ourselves from apart from our name. It's how someone refers to you in conversation. So this means not only do they want to control what you say to them, they also want to control what you say about them. Manipulative? Yeah, you bet. Narcissism? Absolutely. These gender imperialists want royal titles.
Starting point is 01:11:45 They want to be honored. You know, maybe they're announcing their rank in the gender army. know, but they also, and this is worse, want you to destroy objective truth and change reality. They want to destroy common sense and replace it with an entirely new way of not thinking, a new way of life. They don't like reality. Too many rules, too many limitations, too much responsibility. They tell us now the word pedophile is discriminatory. So they've rebranded it, minor attracted persons. When do we start calling murderers harm attracted persons?
Starting point is 01:12:34 Language is what allows us to be free. Language is what separates us from animals. Language is what allows us to communicate with one another. Language is what we have in common. Language is something that we share in exchange. It is our community and it is subjective. Language contains all truth. It is also the tool needed in order to uncover truth.
Starting point is 01:13:09 It is the embodiment of understanding. If I might quote the Bible, Proverbs 18, verse 21, look it up in your scriptures, please, when you have it, Raise your hand. The tongue has the power of life and death. James 369 says, The tongue is also a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body.
Starting point is 01:13:38 It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and itself set on fire by hell. Language. What we say about. about each other, what we say about ourselves, what we say. God spoke it and it became. We speak something and it becomes.
Starting point is 01:14:08 That's why it is critical not to take another step. In fact, if you've already crossed the line, turn around and go back. Do not say things that are not true. by saying them, even if you're thinking to yourself, I don't believe that at all, just by saying it, you help make it true. This is why Christ is described as the word and light. The opposite of light is darkness. What's the opposite of language? What's the opposite of the word?
Starting point is 01:14:54 It doesn't have a name, but it is alive all around us right now, speaking through leftist policing of our language. The authoritarian's that claim they're fighting for freedom. Yeah, you have that? The authoritarians who say they're fighting for freedom. How is that possible? It's not. But if they confuse the language, war becomes peace.
Starting point is 01:15:26 By enforcing pronouns, they promise that we will be free. But what they really want is to imprison them, imprison us. Because if you won't comply to their faith, the Grand Inquisitor says you are an extremist, a terrorist, or their enemy. Their mission is total destruction. Society for them is the battleground. They've always fantasized about conquering by force. They have declared war on the truth. They have declared war on the light.
Starting point is 01:16:14 Know that this is a battle of words. I am blank. The name of God that he says to Moses, who shall I say sent me? He said, I am that I am. When you say, I am, fill in that blank, you create that reality. You are using the sacred power of God. You're using the name of God.
Starting point is 01:16:49 I am a man. Martin Luther King carried those signs. Who knew that those signs would be so important once again for an entirely different reason. I am a man. Back in a minute. Way I see you have two basic options when it comes to dealing with what we're all dealing with inflation and financing. You can do nothing and trust that the government is just going to pull us out of this economic tailspin that we're in the middle of. Or you can recognize that everything they're doing is either a horrible mistake and that everything happens to be against prosperity, the free market, America.
Starting point is 01:17:42 Or you can realize, no, I don't think that's a mistake. So I'm going to take the bull by the horns and be proactive here. First option is tempting and a lot of people are going to do it. Don't do it. Stick with the second option. Best way to do that is to call American financing right now. It's a company that's been helping people just like you and me with home loans. for two decades.
Starting point is 01:18:09 They've been a sponsor of mine for about 15 years. As a company that's been helping people just like you and me with home loan options, they care about helping you, save money. It could be refinancing your mortgage for a lower fixed rate, providing other types of loans, or even just helping you find ways to raise your credit score, which is incredibly important right now. American financing, they will help see you through.
Starting point is 01:18:36 Don't take my word for it. Call and find out yourself. 10-minute phone call today to Americanfinancing.net at 800-9062440, or Americanfinancing. American financing. NMLS-182334. www. nmLS consumer access.org. The Glennback Program. Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
Starting point is 01:19:19 So, I think my favorite. story of the day is this. The UN racism committee, oh, I'm listening already. The UN racism committee condemns pro-life laws in the U.S. suggesting that minorities face higher risk of unwanted pregnancies. So let's get this right. So the U.N. is saying America is racist because we don't want
Starting point is 01:19:53 to kill black children. And if you want to kill black children, then you're not a racist. Not a racist. You're not a... Did you want me to bring those quotes out from the fascism book? Because I have the textbook right here. Did you want me to just quickly...
Starting point is 01:20:09 Yeah, go ahead. Just... Quick reminder. This is the actual textbook definition of fascism. You'll lead you a couple of pieces from it. All right. Truth... Mm-hmm. is a subjective quality available only to a few gifted people whose will or spirit or personality is greater than that of the masses. Those with superior will perceive a higher truth than others.
Starting point is 01:20:34 You see, me and you, we think, oh, gosh, maybe killing black children, that seems more like racism than the alternative. Right. But no, those with a higher will have a higher truth and they can understand these things. Okay. All right. How about Mussolini, begged his audiences to have faith in the Italian myths. We have created our myth. The myth is a faith. It is a passion. It is not necessary that it would be a reality. It is reality by the fact that it is a goal, a hope, and a faith. Huh. Fascism rejects objective science and reason. Objective truth is either a hoax or unimportant because the really important truths defy rationales. Defy, understanding. Yeah, but you're not getting this from a textbook. I am. Political ideologies,
Starting point is 01:21:26 their origins and impact, second edition. Yeah, this is the, but it's not an actual textbook. Oh, it's an actual textbook. In fact, it's so well worn that it's now in the 13th edition. Yeah, okay. The copy I have is from the second edition. I'm sure it says the exact opposite. I bet if you look in fascism now, I'll bet you. It talks about a right-wing ideology. See, Republican Party. You know, here's a picture of the biggest fascist to ever live Donald Trump. You're probably right, honestly. It probably has changed quite a bit. Or they're not using that book anymore.
Starting point is 01:21:58 One of the two. One of the two. Amazing. You got to, you know what? Order it, will you? Yeah. Let's look at it. All right.
Starting point is 01:22:07 A happy little story about what Justin Castro Trudeau is doing up in Canada. This is pretty unique. for a free country. The Glenn Back program. Let me tell you about Rough Greens. I have dogs. Actually, I have a dog. We sent the other dog back.
Starting point is 01:22:32 He just was too much of a dog to handle for us. But anyway, I love Uno. And Uno is really starting to get old. He doesn't get up in the morning with me now, which is unusual. He is, I think Rough Greens actually extended his,
Starting point is 01:22:53 the good part of his life because I saw him just, he was like this about three years ago. We started feeding Rough Greens and he had just this burst of back to the way he used to be when he was a puppy or a younger dog.
Starting point is 01:23:09 And now he's, it elongated and made the end of his life, I think, so much better. And I am so grateful. for that. Please, if you love your dog like I do, and I'm sure you do, try Rough Greens. Get a free trial bag of Rough Greens for your dog to try out. All you pay for is a shipping. Just make sure that they like it. And if they do, call back, order another bag, a real bag of Rough Green, start feeding
Starting point is 01:23:35 them every day, and you're going to see changes in your dog. You really will. Rough Greens, RUFF Greens.com slash Beck or 833, Glenn 33. Well, hello, America. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. I want to talk to you about what is coming and has now just come to Canada and we will be next on this. Things are changing rapidly in America. You need to stay informed because knowledge is power. Understand that what they're trying to do to you is to convince you you're too little that you can't make a difference, that you'll never get out, that you should be angry, that you should strike out as a lone wolf, because then they'll be able to get everybody, funnel them in to their little pockets of control.
Starting point is 01:25:30 Knowledge is power. I'm going to tell you what's coming and why we need to square our shoulders and in peaceful resistance stand up and say, no, we're not doing any of that. the cause and the effect in 60 seconds. Sometimes in life, the best thing you can do is learn the hard way. That's not the case when it comes to real estate transaction. That's what I did. If you're trying to buy or sell a home or both,
Starting point is 01:26:02 the truth is that the School of Hard Knocks is a thing to be avoided at all cost. That's why years ago I started a business called Real Estate agents I trust because I didn't know how to find the right real estate agent. I would just talk to somebody, you know, in church and they'd say, do you know of a good real estate? Yeah, a person who sold my house, they were pretty good. You know, I don't know if that's, I mean, that's not how you find a good real estate agent. And when you'd interview them, you didn't interview them. You're like, okay, you sell my house.
Starting point is 01:26:29 Yeah, okay, I'll sign with you. We pair you up with the best real estate agents, in our opinion, meeting our criteria, in your area. So your chances of having the best outcome possible go through the roof. It's a free service to you. You need someone who knows the best practices. And those are the standards we look for, especially in the housing market being the mess that it is right now. Most of the agents we work with are fans of the program. So you're probably going to have a lot in common as well.
Starting point is 01:27:04 Don't take my word for it. Interview these people yourself. Real estate agents, I trust.com. Real estate agents I trust.com. So architectural plans have been leaked from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Canada. They are building now, under the Trudeau administration, a new facility in Winnipeg. Now, I understand Winnipeg is Heartland, Canada. It's Red State Central.
Starting point is 01:27:39 Okay. they're building this facility that will be the home to a firearms armory, interrogation rooms, this according to the architectural plans, biological labs, media relations offices, I don't even know what this is, controlled quiet rooms, and intelligence facilities. The plans were drawn up by a firm in Winnipeg, and they kind of open a window into what climate enforcement looks like in Canada. Down the hall from the proposed firearm storage rooms are several evidence rooms, interrogation suites with adjacent recording rooms.
Starting point is 01:28:22 According to a recently posted Indeed.com ad up in Canada, the ministry is searching to recruit a battalion of climate pollution officers with the name of the group, the Environmental Enforcement Directors. doesn't that sound a little communist just that the entire facility is 50,000 square feet. It will house hundreds of ECCC staff. And the Impact Assessment Act is what gave it power. This passed in the final days of Trudeau's majority government, and it gave sweeping power to ministerial enforcement officers. But nobody knew what that was. It was just in that bill. Kind of like, you know, the bill
Starting point is 01:29:15 we just passed. Nobody really read it. Nobody knew what it was. The IAA empowers agents of the Ministry of Climate Change to enter premises without a warrant to verify compliance or prevent non-compliance with the Climate Change Act. Trudeau's climate police can enter any location that affects the environment to take photographs, access computer systems and communication devices, and direct any person to put any machinery, vehicle, or equipment in the place, into operation, or shut it down. They may also prohibit entry or access to the location entirely. Got it? Knock knock, who's there? We ask the questions here.
Starting point is 01:30:13 That is the new climate police. Now, the armory is in Winnipeg. Heartland of what? The agricultural region of Canada. Hmm. Now, this came out just a couple of days after this climate agency dispatched a bunch of the climate enforcers, and they were accused of trespassing on private land in Saskatchewan trying to collect nitrogen samples. Nitrogen. Oh, that's fertilizer. According to the landowners who
Starting point is 01:30:59 confronted the federal agents trespassing on their land, they were told that the purpose of them being there was to test the water in the farmer's dugouts and measure nitrate levels. And they didn't need a warrant to do that because they were the climate police. Trudeau's government recently announced a policy to reduce the use of fertilizer on Canadian farms by 30%. This policy is widely being criticized by those greedy farmers across the country and by provincial governments in the western provinces with opponents saying it will cripple Canada's food supply, which is exactly why the farmers are protesting in Europe. This coming at the worst possible time for food supply.
Starting point is 01:31:53 You know, if you wanted to reduce the surplus population, if you believe that humanity was a blight on the earth, that the earth just couldn't handle all of these people, is a there a better way? Is there anything that is out of line with that kind of thinking? Are they doing anything that would stop the death of thousands, millions of people? Or are they adding to the chances that we kill millions of people? You know, your friends and you have to start understanding that that's not a radical question. What have they done to help the average person? Then make a list.
Starting point is 01:32:50 What have they done that actually hurts the average person? The IRS in our country is going to be used to hassle and shut down and impoverish small business owners, the middle class and the lower class. This is not going to affect, you know, millionaires and billionaires unless they have a conservative bent. There's a great, well, before I get to this, let me just show you some effects, okay? What has been done in the last 10 or 15 years?
Starting point is 01:33:35 How is it affecting us? Well, we have the greatest health care in the world. Well, we used to have the greatest health care in the world. now we have Obamacare. Now we've had the government screw with it. So are we getting better or worse as human beings? Federal report released Wednesday revealed that there has been a precipitous drop in the average life expectancy in America for the second consecutive year. In 2019, the average American was expected at birth to live 78 years in 10 months. That figure dropped to 77 years in 10 months. 2020. Now the life expectancy for the U.S. population stands at 76 years and one month, the lowest it's been since 1996. When I was a kid, my grandfather died at about 65 or 67 years old, and that was old. It's going to be old again. Is it getting better or worse? Well, let's ask the food banks. The food banks all across the country say the demand for food at the food banks
Starting point is 01:34:43 is inflation that is destroying households and it is worse than the worst part of the pandemic. When people weren't working, didn't have money. Californians, is it getting better or worse? Californians urged to avoid charging electric vehicles. Well, didn't your state just say that they're banning the sale of gas powered vehicles by 2035? What magic fairy dust are they going to fart out of Gavin Newson's ass that is going to produce all the magic energy that we're going to need? Oh, by the way, California is also wanting to take over the fast food industry. They just passed a bill that Newsom will sign that will create a council to dictate wages and working conditions for fast food restaurants.
Starting point is 01:35:52 They will, one of their goals is to make sure that the minimum wage for fast food workers is $22 an hour. $22 an hour. Wasn't Bernie pitching for 15? So now we're 50% above burning. We're 22. We're 22. Why? Because California has the highest poverty rate of any state in the union.
Starting point is 01:36:22 Californians, ask yourself, why? I'm going to give you a line in the sand drawn by Jordan Peterson. That is absolutely worth your time in 60 seconds. In case you haven't had a problem. personal message from him yet. Let me inform you that there's a pretty good chance Joe Biden thinks you're a semi-fascist. He also doesn't think you should have guns because if the government wants to crush you, they will after all. You don't own a fighter jet, do you? And they can nuke you. Uh, that is pretty much his words. All of this and so much more that is coming out of the drooling pie hole
Starting point is 01:37:13 of those in Washington, it should worry you, and if so, you're not alone. Now, what do you do about it? Will you protect yourself against insanity by being someone that is prepared to take care of themselves? Goldline right now is offering a pre-Labor Day holiday special

So thank you so much for listening. And by the way, I just want to let you know if you're listening to a station called The Patriot, oh, you're on a list. Even if it's a mistake.
Starting point is 01:39:22 You can just tune over by the state today. Too late now. Too late. You're going to jail. All right. This is from Jordan Peterson and I want you to listen to this. Corporations and Utopians are offering authoritarian solutions to the crisis. Only democracy and free markets can solve.
Starting point is 01:39:38 Deloitte. You know what Deloitte is? It is the largest professional services network in the world. They're headquartered in London. It's also one of the big four global accounting companies offering audit, consulting, risk advisory tax and legal services to corporate clients. With a third of a million professionals operating on those fronts worldwide and as the third largest privately owned company in the U.S., Deloitte is a behemoth, a word that came from
Starting point is 01:40:06 the Bible, by the way, with numerous and far-reaching tentacles. In short, it is an entity that you should know about, not least because such enterprises no longer limit themselves to their proper bellywick. But consciously or not, they have assumed the role of counselors and believers in unchecked globalization whose policies have sparked considerable unrest around the world. Jordan Peterson continues. If you're seeking the cause of the Dutch agriculture and fishery protests, the Canadian trucker convoy, the yellow jackets in France, the farmer rebellion in
Starting point is 01:40:48 India, the recent catastrophic collapse of Sri Lanka or the energy crisis in Europe and Australia, you can instruct yourself by the recent pronouncements from Deloitte. While not directly responsible, they offer an insight into the elite group think that has triggered these events, into the cabal of utopians operating in the media, corporate and government fronts, wielding a nightmarish vision of environmental apocalypse. In May this year, Deloitte released a clarion call to precipitous action trumpeting the climate emergency confronting us. They called it the turning point, a global summary. It's a stellar example of a mentality more common among officials in the EU, one of fundamental bureaucratic overreach and one which generated Brexit, a very good decision on the part of the Brits,
Starting point is 01:41:47 that threatens the very survival of that self-same EU. Deloitte models posit that climate impacts could affect global economic output. And they say that unchecked climate change will cost us $178 trillion over the next 50 years. That, by the way, is $25,000 per person. You know, that includes your children. Computer model, by the way, does not mean data. And even data does not mean fact. Computer model means at best hypotheses posing as mathematical facts.
Starting point is 01:42:33 Valid authority, Jordan Peterson says, needs to rest in the people. Truly valued valid structures of authority are local, not centralized, for reasons of efficiency and emergency. This must not become the generation of yet another top-down tower of Babel that will not solve our problems, just as similar attempts have failed to solve our problems in the past. Ask yourself, are these Deloitte models which are supposed to guide all the important decisions we make about economic security and opportunity of families and the structure of our civil societies? Are they accurate enough even to give those who employ them any edge whatsoever? say in predicting the performance of stocks? The answer is no. And how do we know?
Starting point is 01:43:23 Because if such accurate models existed and were implemented by the company with Deloitte's resources and reach, Deloitte would have all of the money. So why is this a problem? Why should you care? Well, Jordan Peterson writes, The Saviors at Deloitte admit that there will be short-term cost to implementing their cure, which is zero emissions. This, by the way, is a goal identical to that adopted last week by the delusional leaders of Australia.
Starting point is 01:43:56 Here's the confession couched in bureaucratic double speech from the Deloitte consultants. During the initial stages, the combined cost of the upfront investments of decarbonization coupled with the already locked in damages of climate change would temporarily lower economic activity compared to the current emissions intensive path. So these godlike figures attempt to justify this by saying those most exposed to the economic damages of unchecked climate change would also have the most to gain from embracing low admission future. Really? Tell that to African and Indian populations in the developing world that have been lifted from poverty by coal and natural gas. Think of this. Existing industries need to be reconstituted as a series of complex, interconnected, emission-free energy systems, energy, mobility, industry, manufacturing, food and land use, and negative emissions will be executed. Well, gee, wow, you said they were a series of complex interconnected systems. That sounds not difficult.
Starting point is 01:45:12 that sounds impossible to do quickly. What are we thinking as a globe? All right, how would you like to look 10 or 15 years younger without having to go under the knife? That would be a nice little change, huh? Because that's what people report when they use GenuCel products. GenuCel is the best in skin care. I've been talking about GenuCel for years. Hey, I've been encouraging you to be a person of merit, somebody who tries to walk the walk of Jesus Christ. the Merit Batch nominee and award next. I want to tell you a quick story about William Wiley.
Starting point is 01:46:53 He was an avid collector of historic items. And he would just go out to, you know, the countryside, and he would just go into Barnes and he'd look for things, you know, with permission of the farmer, you know, farmers. But he would go to obscure places, and he would look for pieces of history. On one of these trips, it was back in the 1920, 20s, he visited a barn in Deerfield, New Hampshire.
Starting point is 01:47:20 And inside the barn, Willie found this tattered piece of fabric hanging near a horse stall. It was covered in cobwebs. It had looked like it had been hanging there forever. Well, apparently it had. It appeared to him, and he was an expert on these things, to be a piece of a military uniform. and he thought he knew what it was, but he needed to really examine it. He asked the farmer,
Starting point is 01:47:51 do you want this anymore? And the guy said, no, no, you can tell you. This has been up there forever. Been there since I was a kid. Well, it was a little beyond that. Willie later discovered that that was a uniform from somebody in the Revolutionary War.
Starting point is 01:48:08 And on that piece of fabric was a little heart. He didn't know what that was. So he began to investigate. It was the original Purple Heart. It was the badge of merit. Given only by George Washington, if you did something that would bring the blessings of God upon us, something that God would look down and go,
Starting point is 01:48:38 these people are worth saving. Look at that. This was not a, it was a military award, but it was not for military action. It was not for being wounded. That came out in the 1930s for the bicentennial of George Washington's birth. This was to bring favor upon our country in the eyes of God. I think this is one of my favorite things from George Washington.
Starting point is 01:49:04 He knew what it would take to win the battle that they were facing. The battle we are facing is going to take exactly the same. We do not win this. without God. We do not win it without God. And the only way, God's never going to be on our side, he's on everybody's side. We have to align ourselves and prove to him that we're on his side. And when we do, doors of Providence will just open up because you're in line with God.
Starting point is 01:49:34 You're in line with the universe. So we started the badge of merit for civilians now, and we do it every couple of weeks. Tim Hanna is on the phone with us. He is, I believe, from Missouri. Is that right? Tim, are you there? That's correct. Hi.
Starting point is 01:49:54 And you have nominated somebody, if I may read your letter. Dana and her husband run a nonprofit called Dogwood Ranch in Southwest Missouri. The organization focuses on kids in foster care at risk youths and veterans from equine therapy and housing girls transitioning from the foster system to personally fostering young girls, they have touched the lives of so many people here in our community. You can talk to Dana for two minutes and be convinced about her heart for her work. Her and her husband have had over 20 foster girls they now call family. They take the toughest cases that come up.
Starting point is 01:50:32 On several occasions, I would reach out to see if we could go out and she would say she couldn't because she was on suicide watch that night. young girls have tried to stab her. They have stolen her car. And they have come to call her mom. She's an incredibly hard worker, no nonsense, full of life and joy. Her heart is enormous and precious. She is constantly making our community and our world a better place.
Starting point is 01:50:58 Holy cow. What a great letter. Well, thanks. That was pretty much everything I was going to say. Sorry. Sorry about that. So, does Dana, know we're going to call her?
Starting point is 01:51:13 She shouldn't? No. Okay. So this is a surprise. She didn't know you nominated her. No. I love that. Okay. So where are we calling her? Is she at the ranch? I don't believe so. She also works with the foster system in Missouri. So she's all over the place all the time. I'm not sure where she is. Right. Okay. Is it ringing now? You have her? No. So go ahead and go ahead and call her up now. and get her on the line. And is she going to know who I am, Tim?
Starting point is 01:51:47 Yeah, yeah. She'll be pretty excited. Okay. Okay. You know, my daughter's name is Hannah, and she married a guy named Tim. I mean, you're my family, Tim Hannah, just wrapped up in one guy. Yeah, yeah, that's crazy. So does she, did she start the Dogwood Ranch?
Starting point is 01:52:10 Or is she running it? They started it and they run it. She's the CEO. It started off as kind of just a family organization, but it's grown. You can go to their website. There's quite a few people partnered in it now. Hang on just a second. She is on the phone.
Starting point is 01:52:27 Dana Lopez. Yes, hello. Hi, this is Glenn Beck. You're on the air. Is that all right? What? I take that as a yes. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 01:52:40 No. How are you, Dana? I'm wonderful, Glenn Beck. Well, you have a, you have somebody who is a big admirer of yours. Tim Hanna is on the other phone, and he's going to tell you something he's done. You're in so much trouble. Oops. Wait, which one did we lose? Did we lose? Which one do we lose?
Starting point is 01:53:09 Dana? I'm still here. That would have been the best prank ever. Get her all to that moment that just hang up on her? Yeah. You've just won a brand new. 2,023. Click.
Starting point is 01:53:24 I feel like we leave it right here. We can't do more than this. Jim, it's not the ending we expected, but a pretty damn good one. Do we have her back on? That happened after she said I was in so much trouble. I know. Hi. Hi.
Starting point is 01:53:44 Tim is here to tell you something. Don't hang up. I know you listen to the show, and they have the medal of merit that they do on the show, and I nominated you for it. It just has to do with your work at Dogwood and how much you care for the foster system and the girls and just your focus on changing lives and changing the trajectory. and the generational impact that has happened
Starting point is 01:54:15 and I just think it's awesome and I thought you were a great person to nominate for this. I am in awe and fury. I thank you, friend. How wonderful. What an honor.
Starting point is 01:54:30 So Dana, we're going to be sending you a badge of merit and I assume you know the history of it from listening to the program. Do you remember the history? Yes, but don't ask you to be to. All right. So this was originally given out by George Washington.
Starting point is 01:54:46 It was the first badge that could be won by an enlisted man in the entire world. It's what the Purple Heart is based on, but FDR changed the meaning of it to, you know, if you were wounded in service, it was the Purple Heart. It is a Purple Heart, but this was for people who did something that would bring things. favor from God because of what they did was of real merit. And it would be a blessing to our country if we could get on God's side. So you would be put into George Washington's book of honor. Nobody knows where that is, but I've started a new one. And your name is now in our badge of merit, book of honor. which you don't know me, Glenn, but to know me is to know I'm rarely speechless.
Starting point is 01:55:50 Dana, thank you so much for everything you do. And tell me, how is, I know a lot of people who have gone through foster homes, and they don't usually have a good tale to tell. That's right. And that's one of the reasons, Glenn, that our family has committed itself to doing what we've done for the last 15, 16 years in the foster care system, because we believe that every child is a child of God, and is deserving of family and of a new start, right?
Starting point is 01:56:20 And our heart, as Tim mentioned, really is the shift that next generation. If we can teach our kids how to have healthy relationships and know the relationships that they should hold on to, man, it just changes the trajectory of all to come. So we believe that. Well, thank you for everything that you do. God bless you. And someone from our staff will be reaching out soon. God bless.
Starting point is 01:56:43 That's fantastic. Have a wonderful day. You too. Tim, God bless you. Thank you for letting us know about Dana. Absolutely. Thank you. You bet.

No, not a joke. Her deadbeat dad, you know, had to come back for Bambi. Lucky. It usually doesn't happen. Anyway, deer don't have emergency food because they're animals and they're dumb animals. This is from one speech. Count them one. Listen.
Starting point is 01:59:28 Not a joke. Not a joke. And that wasn't hyperbole. I meant that. I'm not joking. No, I'm serious. This is not hyperbole. I'm not being facetious. And I mean it. Not a joke. For real. Not a joke.
Starting point is 01:59:40 I mean it. I'm being serious. I'm being serious. But all kidding aside. For real. No, I'm not joking. Not a joke. I mean it.
Starting point is 01:59:48 I really mean it. I mean this. I'm not being solicitous. Not a joke. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Are those repeated at any time? No. Those are all different examples.
Starting point is 01:59:58 All different examples from one speech. One speech. No repeats. No repeats. All different. Pinky swear? Pinky swear. And you could see, he's got like 10 different variations of Not a Joke.
Starting point is 02:00:13 It's so weird. What else could he have said besides, you know, Mega sucks. They're going to kill us all. We got to get them. I'm not joking. Not a joke. I'm serious. Play it again, will you?
Starting point is 02:00:26 Not a joke. Not a joke. And that wasn't hyperbole. I meant that. I'm not joking. No, I'm serious. This is not hyperbole. I'm not being facetious.
Starting point is 02:00:35 And I mean it. Not a joke. For real. Not a joke. I mean it. I'm being serious. Like Los Gail. I'm being serious.
Starting point is 02:00:42 But all kidding aside, for real. No, I'm not joking. Not a joke. I mean it. I really mean it. I mean this. I'm not being solicitous. Not a joke.
Starting point is 02:00:51 What is going on in his head to make him say that over and over again? Is he, he's constantly believing the audience thinks the things that he's saying are jokes? Like, is that really that process goes on that many times in one speech? that's weird and I will say none of the stuff leading up to it sounds like a joke it does
Starting point is 02:01:12 it's so I don't know what he's doing it's a very strange he says that what's weird is he says that after jokes too yeah yeah usually when he says like deer in a Kevlar vest not a joke not a joke right I mean do they wear it
Starting point is 02:01:27 what that is a joke was it a serious policy statement on deer and Kevlar vests like what well they are on an extremist lists. They are. Yeah. If you see a deer in a Kevlar vest, those are prepper deers. Those are prepper deers. No, the preper deers are bad. You know, you should see, you should meet their leader, the orange-haired prepper deer. I can't tell you how many deer I have seen in Kevlar vest around Gretchen Whitmer's house in Michigan. You don't think they're plotting. I just, I have to say, I think it's possible. I'm worried. Oh my gosh. I am worried. Her husband or significant other,
Starting point is 02:02:01 I think they have said, Dear! Oh my gosh. Around her. Oh, my God. I wonder if those prepper deer, like all preppers are, are so stupid that they misunderstood the language and they thought it was D-E-E-R, not D-E-A-R. Or maybe he's in the inside working with the deer. You ever think of that?
Starting point is 02:02:29 By the way, I want to make sure everyone knows, not a joke. We're not joking about these deer. Not a joke. What were you saying, Sarah, to me? Oh, Biden. Do we have that? Oh, here's, this is another one. Oh, no.
Starting point is 02:02:43 Biden can't read. Here he is on his ABCs. Have you heard this yet? Listen. A, A, A, A, N-H, and P-I community. We have to do more than just build back better. We have to build back better. Cumulose.
Starting point is 02:02:57 A deficit. The diverse ride. It increases exponentially. I was going to foot him. to find gun owners harassing the full potential. You're increasingly concerned. This makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle, Putin's kleptocrat,
Starting point is 02:03:13 LGBTQL immediately available. Not under pressure, man, I ran the gun manufacturers. All the work in order to prevail. Economic recover. My supply saying, True in the international suffered the pressure. What?
Starting point is 02:03:29 Um. Um, Um, my president. What am I doing here? Javier Bakaria. You can decide who I'm pointing to. Oh my gosh, is that great.
Starting point is 02:03:42 The ABC's with Joe Biden. He can't speak. He's the president. But here's the good news. I think Democrats have learned their lesson. Oh, they would never do that again. They would never, you know, just elect somebody was hiding out in their basement, except in Pennsylvania.
