Harry Sisson reacts to Trump's war threat he published at 3 am this morning.

All right, folks, we have a pretty major problem here. It's three in the morning right now. Yes, I'm awake. Yes, I'm very tired. But I was scrolling on social media, and I just got a notification that Donald Trump had posted at three in the morning. He's awake talking on social media. And he just threatened to attack Iran, essentially go to war with Iran in the middle of the night. And there are some spelling errors in this statement.

It's just very weird. He doesn't specify what kind of action they might be taking. But it's not good, to put it mildly. So I'm going to show you Donald Trump's post in a moment. There are some protests going on in Iran right now. They've been going on for around five days, and they're pretty significant. That's what Donald Trump's post kind of focuses on. This is from the New York Times. Iran protests turned deadly as violence and anger spread. At least one person has been killed in Iran in clashes between protesters and the security forces. Ron State-run media and activist groups said on Thursday as the government looks to quell demonstrations fueled by financial woes. The government identified a man killed in the protest late on Wednesday as a 21-year-old member of a militia that works alongside the security forces. A rights group countered that saying that he had been among the protesters. Semiofficial news outlets and a rights

group described violence and other deaths during a protest in the western city of Lordigan. hopefully I'm pronouncing that correctly on Thursday, but it was not possible to immediately verify those claims. On Wednesday, protesters threw objects at a government building complex in Fossa in south central Iran and then shook its gates until they opened. So this is some pretty significant violence taking place. We know that Iran has a history of clamping down on protests and doing so in a violent, very violent way.

But it's important to keep in mind when we read Donald Trump's posts that this is what's taking place. There's active violence taking place in part of these protests. and you'll see why that's important in just a moment. The president of Iran said on Thursday that the government urgently needs to address people's concerns. Quote, according to God's Quran, if we do not solve people's problems, we will have a place in hell. Protests have broken out across the Iranian capital, Tehran and other cities this week, as high inflation and currency collapse have roiled the economy and impoverished many Iranians.

On Thursday, the semi-official Tasman News Agency reported on telegram that Iranian authorities had arrested 30 individuals. for disrupting public order. The protesters, or excuse me, the protests are now into their fifth day, while the early protesters were mostly among merchants and university students in major Iranian cities. More recent demonstrations have been held in smaller cities in the countries west. So let's just a little bit of back story of the Iranian protests that are taking place right now, and it'll provide some very helpful context for this truth social post that Donald Trump put out. And I wish I could say it was kidding. I wish I could say this wasn't real, but it is. At 258 in the morning, just moments ago at the time of filming this, Donald Trump said, if Iran shots, so there's a spelling

error, it's meant to be shoots, but I digress, and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue. We are locked and loaded and ready to go. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump. Now, pretty concerning. As I said, you know, keep in mind the violence that we just read that people are being beaten, people are being arrested, there are people's lives, being taken. There are unofficial reports of more people's lives being taken. So there's already violence. And Donald Trump is saying that if there's violence, the United States is,

quote, locked and loaded and ready to go. So he's, I mean, are his, are his terms not already met? He's saying, if there is this, then there will be this. And there already is this. So does that mean that we, the United States are going to war? I would love some context from Donald Trump as to what locked and loaded and ready to go means. Remember, Donald Trump framed himself as the pro-peace ticket. This is an official graphic that the Trump Vance campaign put out during the 2024 campaign. They called themselves the pro-peace ticket. That's what they ran on.

Remember, they said, if we elect Kamala Harris, your sons and daughters, they're going to war. If you elect us, that's not happening. That's their entire thing. And now we have Donald Trump awake at three in the morning saying something quite different. I mean, the whole purpose of being anti-war and bringing the pro-peace team. ticket is that you don't get involved in other countries' conflicts. I mean, the whole purpose is that if another country does something bad within their borders that does not involve the United States, we don't get involved. That's something that Donald Trump promised, which doesn't really

mean anything, but nonetheless, he did say that. And now he's saying, well, we're locked and loaded and ready to go. It is completely contradictory, and it seems like Donald Trump is getting ready to put Americans in harm's way. Can we get a definition on locked and loaded? I mean, he's already bombed Iran trying to take out their nuclear program, he's flirted with it again recently saying he would do it. He's thinking about it. And now he's saying they're locked and loaded. I wonder if Donald Trump is setting up for more nuclear strikes. He's going to use these protests and a crackdown from the government to say, well, you're doing this. So we're going to go bomb more nuclear sites because some intel reports suggest we didn't get the job done the first time. And so I wonder if he's

kind of setting it up to be justified, saying the protests justify this. But I don't know. Concerning nonetheless. I mean, you know, you're going to have parents wake up tomorrow morning. Maybe you're one of the parents watching this video who have kids in the military or people who could still be called up to service, whatever it might be. You're going to have concerned parents waking up wondering what Donald Trump means by this statement. And why is he doing this at three in the morning? And it's so incompetent that there are spelling mistakes. I mean, he's threatening to go to war essentially with another country and his statement has spelling mistakes, certainly not the official conduct of business that we had when we had Joe Biden who would, you know, not do stuff like this.

He was actually a competent guy. He would do the job well. Donald Trump, on the other hand, is awake at three in the morning, putting out spelling error-ridden statements. But you're going to have parents who wake up and be nervous. I'm going to wonder about their kid. Is Donald Trump about to send them into Iran? Send us on a mission?

I don't know. I don't know. And that's the scary part. We just don't know. So, I don't know. As soon as I saw this, I got up from bed. And I knew I had to talk about it. it because it is that concerning. I think they're, you know, who knows with this guy? Who knows with him?

Who knows what he's going to do? I mean, he's erratic. He's irrational. He's insane. And so I think everything is on the table in terms of him being just a complete and total idiot. I really do. But anyway, I don't want to take up too much of your time this morning. You know, I'm thinking of you. I really am. I know it's stressful. 2025 was hard. And the annoyance doesn't just magically disappear with a new year. But I'm thinking about you folks. And I hope your new year is going well so far. from this, aside from this.
