Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, folks, this is a fascinating development in the whole conversation we've been having surrounding the Epstein files on this show. Who's in them? What's in them? Things like that. President Bill Clinton just put out a new statement demanding that all of the Epstein files, including any photos, videos, or documents that reference him be released immediately. Now, that kind of puts Donald Trump and MAGA into a corner because for the past week
Starting point is 00:00:25 or so, they've been trying to make Bill Clinton the face of the Epstein files. not Trump, Bill Clinton. They're trying to put the onus on him. And that strategy was always going to fail because Donald Trump was actually best friends with Jeffrey Epstein, and now it's backfiring on them very publicly. So I'm going to read you this statement. We'll talk about it a little bit and more.
Starting point is 00:00:45 But make sure to subscribe to the channel. Drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about the story. And first and foremost, I do want to really just hammer home this point that MAGA has been trying to make Bill Clinton the fall guy. And I want to also preface that if you're a Democratic, Republican, independent, whatever. I don't care. If you're in the Epstein files, those files should
Starting point is 00:01:03 be released to the public. I couldn't care less what your political ideology was. If you were friends with Epstein or even worse, did something wrong in connection to Epstein, you deserve to be exposed. That's the standard on the left, but on the right, they, of course, want to protect Donald Trump under any circumstances. But in the Epstein files, we saw some of these photos of Bill Clinton hanging out with Epstein. You have that one. You have this one. You have this one. There were a couple of different photos. You get the idea. You've seen a bunch of them now already. And I think a lot of people were suspicious, like, why are we seeing so many of these old, grainy photos of Bill Clinton from like the late 1990s, early 2000s when, you know, before everything kicked off? Why are we seeing so many
Starting point is 00:01:42 of these photos and quite literally zero photos of Donald Trump? Well, in my view, I think it's been a concerted effort from the White House to, again, put the onus on Bill Clinton and completely removed Donald Trump from the conversation. And I think this was proven by Abbecki Gail Jackson, a spokesperson at the White House saying, per the Epstein Files Transparency Act, the Department of Justice was specifically instructed only to redact the faces of victims and or minors. Here's a picture of Bill Clinton with his arm around Michael Jackson and redacted individuals. She's trying to make it seem like both Bill Clinton and Michael Jackson are doing something wrong.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Problem is, this is a publicly available photo is taken in 2003, and the faces are Michael Jackson's children, and you can see that here. So the White House is trying to make this photo seem like there's a, like there's a crime taking place, but it's not. And so that brings us to this, the statement from Bill Clinton, which I think is really well written. Let's go through it. The Epstein Files Transparency Act imposes a clear legal duty on the U.S. Department of Justice to produce the full and complete record the public demands and deserves. However, what the Department of Justice has released so far and the manner in which it did so makes one thing clear. Someone or something is being protected. We do not
Starting point is 00:02:53 know whom, what, or why, but we do know this. We need no such protection. And I think that's really powerful. I mean, there has been so much public debate across the political spectrum of Bill Clinton's role, right? I mean, if we're being honest, there's been a lot of debate about this. Was he involved in something? Did he know something? Whatever it might be. And the Bill Clinton team, he himself, his spokesman, is saying, we don't need protection. We didn't do anything wrong. So he says, accordingly, we call on Donald Trump to direct Attorney General Pam Bondi to immediately release any remaining materials referring to mentioning or containing a photograph of Bill Clinton. That's what we call transparency. I mean, look, I know a lot of people have opinions
Starting point is 00:03:35 on Bill Clinton. And again, I don't care who Bill Clinton is, what his political party is. If he's in the Epstein files, the photo should be public. I just want to preface that because, again, MAGA, we'll take it out of context, but whatever. But that's what we call transparency, saying, hey, if I'm in the files, if there's photos of me, release them. I don't care. Put them out. Donald Trump, on the other hand, is not making that same demand. Will Donald Trump follow suit? Will Donald Trump go to Pambon? He'd say, oh, you know, release the files? Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:04:00 I think, look, you'd have to be kind of delusional to believe that Donald Trump really wants these files to go out in the public. He really wants them to be out there. I just don't buy it. This includes without limitation, any records that may exist, and are subject to disclosure under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, including grand jury transcripts, interview notes, photographs, and findings by the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York, as reference under oath to Congress by Donald
Starting point is 00:04:25 Trump's first term attorney general. Refusing to do so will confirm the widespread suspicion the Department of Justice's actions to date are not about transparency, but are about insinuation, using selective releases to imply wrongdoing about individuals who have already been repeatedly cleared by the very same Department of Justice over many years under Presidents and attorneys general of both parties. And I think that last paragraph is especially true that if Donald Trump doesn't release all these photos, videos, whatever, that they have of Bill Clinton, anything else they have a Bill Clinton, that might be all of it. They might have dumped all of it. But if they don't release everything else, that does further confirm the suspicion
Starting point is 00:05:02 that, yeah, of course the DOJ and Trump's team is making this a political thing. So far, every step of the way with their handling of the Epstein files, it's not only been completely disastrous and a slap in the face for victims, a slap in the face for victims, but it's been a political move. It's been trying to do. to score political points. People on the left, our perspective is, let's just put the victims first. Right? They want transparency. They want these documents out. Let's abide their wishes. This is what they want. This is what they want. They put out a number of statements saying this. Donald Trump, on the other hand, is thinking, what do I want? What can I do to protect myself? And I'm glad that
Starting point is 00:05:39 Bill Clinton is doing this. And of course, there's been no allegation of wrongdoing against Bill Clinton. There's been no evidence of wrongdoing. But MAGA has really tried to make him the boogeyman. And we just want transparency across the board, whatever political party you're in. And I want to highlight this finally before we wrap up here that Epstein survivors just today have put the Department of Justice on blast for its mishandling of the files. They note that the DOJ has failed to communicate with them and call for immediate congressional oversight. They write the Epstein Files Transparency Act deadline for the U.S. Department of Justice to release its full records of the investigation of Epstein and his accomplices and enablers with specific narrow exceptions,
Starting point is 00:06:17 such as survivor identities. This law enacted by a nearly unanimous vote in the House and unanimously in the Senate and signed by Donald Trump was clear. It afforded no permission for delayed disclosures. Instead, the public received a fraction of the files and what we received was riddled with abnormal and extreme redactions with no explanation. At the same time, numerous victim identities were left unredacted, causing real and immediate harm. No financial documents were released. Grand jury minutes, though approved by a federal judge for release, were completely blacked out, not the scattered redactions that might be expected to protect victims' names, but 119 full pages blacked out. We are told that there are hundreds of thousands
Starting point is 00:06:57 of documents still unreleased. These are clear-cut violations of an unambiguous law. Moreover, the partial release was done in a manner that made it difficult or impossible for survivors to find material that would be most relevant to our search for accountability. There's been no guidance for survivors on how to locate materials pertaining to our own cases, nor have we been provided with copies of our own files despite repeated requests. This is what I mean when I say the DOJ's entire thing has been slapping the face of victims. They can't even find their own documents. What? They've asked the DOJ, provide me my file, and they've gone silent. Nothing. It's so, it is so gross. It is so gross. It's so gross. It is alarming that the U.S. Department of Justice, the very agency
Starting point is 00:07:46 task with upholding the law, has violated the law both by withholding massive quantities of documents and by failing to redact Epstein survivor identities. As women who survived the crimes perpetrated by Epstein and Ghilane Maxwell, we call upon the DOJ to explain why they have missed a legal deadline and to explain to us or our representatives how we can privately obtained copies of all documents in DOJ possession that identify us by name. And you can read the rest if you'd like, but here are some of the names. And you probably recognize these names who have been so brave and so strong in coming forward. I want to highlight them. I'll leave them there for you to read if you'd like. But just gross. Just gross. This Epstein story continues to get worse by
Starting point is 00:08:27 the day for Donald Trump. And their handling of it has been a total disaster. So look, I'll leave the video there. This is important stuff. This is important stuff. So make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment, let me know what you think about this story. It really just does get worse by the day. I'll keep you updated on anything like that. But have an amazing rest of your day. We will talk soon.
