Starting point is 00:00:00 Folks, what's happened in just the past week or so with this story has truly been one of the most absurd things to watch, but this is what the Trump administration is focused on. You might have seen this story by now. If you haven't, buckle up. If you have, there are some major updates you're going to want to see. So, country music star, Zach Bryan, an award-winning musician, somebody who I actually listened to. I like quite a bit of Zach Bryan's music. He posted an unreleased snippet of a song. of one of his songs on Instagram, where he appears to criticize ICE. And for MAGA, that's like a red flag. If you hear even a little criticism of the Trump administration and what they're doing, they freak out. So not only did the MAGA influencers lose their minds, but also members of the Trump administration publicly criticized Zach Bryan. So I'm going to show you some snippets from the song.
Starting point is 00:00:54 We're going to look at the reaction from MAGA and more. Before I do so, make sure to subscribe to the channel down below. drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about the story. If you've seen it, what do you think about it? Without further ado, let's dive in. I can't play the whole snippet because of copyright stuff, but I'll play just a little bit and then we'll read the lyrics.
Starting point is 00:01:11 So this is where he appears to criticize ICE. Take a look. And ice is going to come bus down here indoor. I'm trying to build a house. No one bills no more, but I got a telephone. That's all he said. That's the criticism of ICE that Republicans are freaking out about. But here's another one where he criticized it.
Starting point is 00:01:30 He kind of continues in the song, the same theme. The bar, stop bumping the rock, stop rolling, the middle fingers rising, and I won't stop showing got some bad news. The fading of the red, white, and blue. The fading of the red, white, and blue. That's another part that Maga is losing their minds over. And so, since I can't play the whole snippet, we'll kind of read some of the lyrics. He said, didn't wake up dead or in jail.
Starting point is 00:01:54 Some out-of-town boys been giving us hell. I got some bad news. I woke up missing you. my friends are all degenerates, but they've all I've got. This generational story of dropping the plot. I heard the cops come, cocky M-Fers, ain't they? And ICE is going to come bust down your door, try to build a house, no one builds no more. I got a telephone. Kids are all scared and all alone. The bar stopped bumping. The rock stopped rolling. The middle fingers rising. And it won't stop showing. Got some bad news. The fading of the red, white and blue. Now, as I mentioned, these lyrics, I think
Starting point is 00:02:24 it's a good song. It sounds pretty good to me. The criticism is pretty mild. It kind of seems like, Zach Ryan is talking about the state of America and the awful things we see on our phones every single day of ice going in these streets, kidnapping people and unmarked vehicles with their faces covered with masks. Any American with a heart, any American who actually loves this country would look at that with disgust. And that, to me, is what Zach Bryan is saying here. But the members of the Trump administration, the Republicans, don't see it the same way. They see it as an attack on the homeland. I mean, it's just so absurd. Christine Nome, who is, of course, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary, was asked by MAGA influencer Benny Johnson to react to Zach Bryant's song.
Starting point is 00:03:06 And you just have to listen to what she had to say. Take a look. But AM Secretary, you have convicted pedophile here, a couple of criminals here. These are bad hombres, as the president would say. Yet you have major cultural icons, big-time country music superstar. his name's Zach Bryan. He probably has tens of millions of Trump supporters in his audience, and he just released an anti-ice song, and then he gets your response to that,
Starting point is 00:03:35 especially given what we've seen today. I know I heard that and listened to a little bit of it and extremely disappointed and disheartened, and actually, I hope he understands how completely disrespectful. That song is not just a law enforcement, but to this guy. I almost told her to go after herself. I won't do that.
Starting point is 00:03:55 stood up and fought for our freedoms. He just compromised it all by putting out a product such as that, that attacks individuals, just trying to make our streets safe. So, Zach, I didn't listen to your music. I'm happy about that today. Today, that makes me very happy, that I never once gave you a single penny to enrich your lifestyle,
Starting point is 00:04:15 if you truly believe what that song stands for. They are such snowflakes. They are such snowflakes. You know, for years, they said that Democrats were the sensitive ones. she is melting down because Zach Bryan put out a song that is mildly critical of ice. Does she not know that Zach Bryan served in the military? She's sitting here saying, oh, it's disrespectful to anybody that served this country. Zach Bryan has served this country.
Starting point is 00:04:44 There are plenty of military officials, police officers, law enforcement officials out there who are disgusted at what the Trump administration is doing. That's patriotism. That's patriotism. up for people whose voices aren't as loud as yours or communities that are being targeted, that's patriotism, that's loving this country. What Christy Gnome is doing here and what they've been doing in blue cities across the country, that's a hate for America. Let's just be honest about what it is. Let's not, I'm going to call balls and strikes. That's hate. That's not loving
Starting point is 00:05:14 your country. And so this little meltdown she went on of, oh, she's so, you know, this is such a mean song. It's so critical. I have so many mean things to say that I don't think I can actually say online about Christy Nomen what she just said, so I'll bite my tongue. Other people in the Trump administration responded to Zach Bryan as well. Trisha McLaughlin, who is an assistant secretary to the Department of Homeland Security. She said stick to Pink Skies dude. Pink Skies is one of Zach Bryan's biggest songs. That's the name. And maybe Trisha and all these other Maga Republican should stick to sucking up to Donald Trump as opposed to getting involved in media, culture, art, because they have no idea what any of that means. Art has never been
Starting point is 00:05:59 conservative. No good art, at least, has ever been conservative. But Zach Bryan eventually did respond to the backlash from a lot of these Republicans. And he pretty much said exactly what I interpreted it to be, what a lot of people interpret it to be. I want to read you some of his response. Country music star, Zach Brian responded Tuesday to criticism over his upcoming song, Bad News, amid claims that it is critical of ICE, saying, that it is about his love for the country and that anyone who uses it as a weapon is only proving how devastatingly divided we are.
Starting point is 00:06:31 A snippet of the song Brian posted Friday on Instagram sparked outrage with some people alleging he was taking shots at Donald Trump. The article continues. In post to his Instagram account stories on Tuesday, Brian said that he wrote bad news months ago and that it's about how much I love this country and everyone in it more than everything.
Starting point is 00:06:49 When you hear the rest of the song, you will understand the full context that hits on both sides of the aisle. Everyone using this now as a weapon is only proving again how devastatingly divided we are. Brian, of course, served in the Navy and said the recent criticism over the song, which has not been released,
Starting point is 00:07:05 makes him kind of scared. Left wing or right wing, we're all on one bird and American. To be clear, I'm on neither of these radical sides. To all those disappointed in me on either side of whatever you believe, just know I'm trying my best too. And we all say things that are misconstrued sometimes.
Starting point is 00:07:20 Everyone have a great day, each and every one of you. So again, mildly criticizing ICE, mildly criticizing the state of the country right now, and MAGA continues to have a full-blown meltdown. And I'm just, like, I'm baffled that Republicans are so stunned by people being upset with the state of America.
Starting point is 00:07:40 How can you watch a video like this and think that this is okay? Just take a look. What's your name? Debbie Brownman, I worked for WGN. Let them know. I got you. Yep.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Debbie Brownie? Brockman. Brockman, WGN. Do you guys want to share your names too or I'm just going to cover your face? Those are Border Patrol agents arresting a woman face down on the ground with their faces covered
Starting point is 00:08:09 and the Trump administration that same Trisha McLaughlin tried to put out a statement saying she was arrested for throwing objects at law enforcement but an amazing journalist Anna Bauer said the woman's employer reports that she was released without being charged with a crime. If she threw objects at federal officers, as you claim she did, why wasn't she charged?
Starting point is 00:08:31 And that's exactly right. And that speaks to what Zach Bryan is saying in this song. It's a mild criticism of ICE. I would have gone further. But it's that ICE and what Trump is doing is dictatorial. It is antithetical to what we do here in the United States. We have due process. We have a democracy.
Starting point is 00:08:49 We don't target people because, we just don't like them. And immigration, having people in this country from different walks of life who look different than you, love different than you, pray different than you, that is again, more foundational to the United States than Donald Trump or any of these Republicans. My God, it's written on the statute of liberty. Bring us your poor, bring us your huddled. That's what America's all about. And the fact that these Republicans, whether it be this Tricia McLaughlin lady or Christy know him or anybody in the MAGA regime are having this reaction shows that they're not patriotic, they're not loyal to America, they're loyal to Donald Trump. So look, I will leave the video there,
Starting point is 00:09:29 just had to cover the story. It's gone incredibly viral. Make sure to subscribe down below. It goes an incredibly long way. Drop a like on the video, comment.
