Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, so check this out. This is easily going to be one of the best things we see all week. Republican Representative Mike Flood from Nebraska's first congressional district. He's a huge MAGA guy. He just held a town hall in his own district and got booed throughout the entire thing. Every single person in the audience was booing him. It was relentless. They confronted him on the big, ugly bill, covering up the Epstein files, and more.
Starting point is 00:00:30 have a bunch of clips to show you. They're all very funny. Before I do so, make sure to subscribe to the channel, drop a like on the video, comment some hearts, some American flags. Let me know what you think about these folks who are booing Mike Flood. And let's dive into the story. I want to start here briefly before we get into some of these clips to show you that Mike Flood's district is no liberal district in 2024, the same year that Donald Trump was elected. He won 60% of the vote in Nebraska's first congressional district. He had an 187,000 votes. The Democratic Challenger got 124,000 votes. This is a MAGA district, a ruby red district. And he's still getting booed by his own voters. So let's start here where I think this is probably the worst booing of all the clips.
Starting point is 00:01:18 I mean, it is deafening. He was asked about cuts to food assistance in Donald Trump's big, ugly bill. And he said, quote, we do not have unlimited money in the United States. And that really riled up the crowd. So just take a look at this clip. It is fantastic. Why, why did you cut SNAP and healthcare research? Good question. We do not have unlimited money in the United States. In 2019, our country spent $60 billion on SNAP. when Trump was president. During COVID, that number went to $100 billion. And for good reason.
Starting point is 00:02:21 I mean, during COVID, we had a situation where we had a worldwide pandemic. We had people that couldn't work. There was a need for extra food supplemental nutrition programs. What we did, this Congress, two things. We returned our spending on SNAP to our pre-pandemic level of 2019. at 60 billion. And we also said to states that have low error rates and Nebraska has low error rates that there's going to be incentive for states that do it right and there's going to be a disincentive for states that have a high error rate. Yeah, I mean, he was really struggling
Starting point is 00:03:00 to get through that. You can see that every time somebody was shouting at him, he was kind of startled at these people who are really pushing back on him. You know, when you're stuck in your little DC bubble of all your mag of friends, it's hard to realize for these folks that his actions, his cutting of snap, what he's talking about right now, actually hurt a lot of people. A lot of kids are going hungry because of him and the Republican Party. These people in the crowd, maybe their children are going hungry and they're pissed off at this guy who's up here claiming, oh, this is a good thing. You know, we don't have unlimited money in the United States, but apparently we have unlimited money to give billionaire's tax cuts and give them a bunch of incentives. And we have unlimited
Starting point is 00:03:40 money to give Elon Musk another government contract for one of his companies so he can make some more money and remain the wealthiest man in the world. It's just such hypocrisy. And Mike Flood and all these other Republicans who have been booed at their own town halls are getting exactly what they deserve for siding with Donald Trump and voting for his terrible policy. Now, I want to get into that Epstein clip because, man, it's brutal, not only for him, but also for Donald Trump. He was asked, why are you covering up the files? And people applauded very loudly for that question, rightfully so, because we all want to see the files.
Starting point is 00:04:14 And Donald Trump is covering it up, and he's part of that party. So let's take a look. Okay. Next question. Why are you covering up the Epstein files? Let's be very clear. At the next pro forma session of the Congress, you'll find my name as a sponsor on a resolution
Starting point is 00:04:42 from the House Rules Committee to release the Epstein files, to protect the victims and not re-victimized them again. I support Jamie Comer, who is the House's oversight committee chairman, subpoenaing Ms. Maxwell later this month to come testify in Washington. I am for the release of those records. Oh, God, this poor guy. You know, I, I, I, I, poor guy in the sense that Donald Trump is about to come after him. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:05:14 The PACs are about to strip their funding because he is one of these Republicans. I guess, who is now saying, yeah, let's release the files. Donald Trump is doing everything he can to get people to stop talking about the files, stop talking about Epstein, stop talking about his relationship with Epstein. And number one, it's not working. I mean, you know, the American people are laser focused on this and we are still, as you can see in this town hall, riled up and demanding that Donald Trump released the Epstein files. But also number two, this is going to drive Trump nuts, a member of his own party who he expects would be running cover. for him, engaging in the cover-up that Donald Trump himself is engaging in, and it's just not
Starting point is 00:05:52 working. And the public pressure works. The booze work. I guarantee that if he was in a room full of his MAGA buddies, he probably would have had a different answer. Well, you know, Donald Trump, he didn't do anything wrong or something along those lines. Guarantee it. But we'll circle back to this in a later video. If he actually goes to D.C. and he votes in favor of the release of Epstein on the Epstein files, and that's great. But, you know, I just not holding my breath for some of these MAGA Republicans who so consistently choose Donald Trump over the American people. Let me show you this last clip where he was asked about Trump firing the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics for the bad jobs report, blaming this expert who calculates the numbers
Starting point is 00:06:32 and releases them every month firing that person simply because Donald Trump has a terrible economy. And let's hear what he had to say. He also kind of throws Donald Trump under the bus again, which I'm sure will add to Donald Trump's anger. So let's take a look. though, if all that person did was get the data out there, if all that, and I don't know that's the case, but if that's all they did, I would not have fired her. I mean, to be honest, but I don't know
Starting point is 00:07:00 because things are complicated. It's easy to listen to a 30-second story on TV and think that you know all the details. I don't know all the details. But I'm sure we will be talking about that when I get back to Washington in September. Man, it is so funny to watch these Republicans. It's funny maybe not be, might not be the right word for it. But it's interesting to watch these Republicans try to walk that tightrope. This guy knows that Donald Trump firing the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics is stupid. It only hurts the American people.
Starting point is 00:07:33 It only hurts this country. He knows that deep down. And yet he still has to be loyal to Donald Trump. So he's walking that fine line of like, well, you know, if she just released the numbers, then I wouldn't have fired her, but I also don't know the full story. It's like these people are so, these MAGA reps are so spineless. They cannot take a position to save their lives. It's either walking that tightrope of being right versus wrong and really walking in between
Starting point is 00:07:58 them or taking Trump's side. They really only have two options these days. And Mike Flood throughout this entire town hall really try to walk that tightrope, right down the middle between right and wrong. You know, he knows deep down that what Trump is doing sucks. He knows deep down that what Trump is doing with his Epstein cover-up is wrong, and yet he still has to, well, you know, because that's what the MAGA base is or the MAGA party is now. If you go against Donald Trump, even just a little bit, you're now in the crosshair. So, man, I just loved this clip, especially the first one I showed you, of Mike Flood getting booed.
Starting point is 00:08:31 And as I've said before, I encourage, if you have a, unfortunately, you have a Republican rep in your district right now, go let them know what you think about them in these town halls and a piece of. way, of course. All right, folks, check this out. The New York Times just dropped the most comprehensive article yet on Epstein's mansion in New York City, where, of course, Donald Trump is reported to have visited a number of different times. They have photos from inside the mansion that have never been seen before, some pretty explosive details.
Starting point is 00:09:04 And before we even get into the story, I will note that Epstein kept photos in this mansion of him and Donald Trump hanging out. So a lot of things to go over in the story. I don't want to waste any more time. Let's dive right in. So the article, which I would encourage you to read, of course, is titled A Look Inside Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan Layer. In his seven-story townhouse, the sex offender hosted the elite,
Starting point is 00:09:29 displayed photos with presidents, and of course Donald Trump is one of them, and showcased a first edition of Lolita, according to previously unreported photos and letters. And this is a sculpture of a broad. wide clinging to a rope dangled in the central atrium of Jeffrey Epstein's mansion. And to me, that's just incredibly creepy. I mean, seeing this as soon as you walk in the house, super, super weird. But of course, we know that about Epstein.
Starting point is 00:09:53 As a gift for Jeffrey Epstein's birthday, they write, 63rd, friends sent letters in tribute to the wealthy financier and convicted sex offenders. Several shared a common theme recounting the dinner gatherings that Mr. Epstein regularly hosted at this palatial townhouse on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Eid Barak, former Prime Minister of Israel and his wife, noted the great diversity of guests. Quote, there is no limit to your curiosity, which is very strange. They wrote in their message, which was compiled with others in January of 2016. Quote, you are like a closed book to many of them, but you know everything about everyone.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Another pretty creepy sentence in hindsight. Let's get deeper into this townhouse. The townhouse was one of five properties around the world owned by Mr. Epstein. after his release in 2009 from a Florida jail where he served 13 months for soliciting prostitution from a teenager, the mansion served as both a personal hideaway and a salon where he could hold court with accomplished intellectuals, scientists, and financiers, according to legal records, and interviews with people who frequented the home. The visitors considered Mr. Epstein fun, smart, and curious.
Starting point is 00:11:02 Another perk getting to mingle with young, attractive women who roamed the property and worked as his assistance. And of course, it's also important to note that Epstein committed crimes at this location as well. He did it all over the world, whether it was in France, whether it was in New York City, whether it was in Florida, everywhere. And this is a place that Donald Trump visited. The townhouse, a stone's throw from Central Park, was sold to Mr. Epstein in 1998 by Leslie H. Wexner, the billionaire owner of L Brands. Mr. Epstein renovated and redecorated the mansion in an eccentric style. Dozens of framed prosthetic eyeballs lined the entry.
Starting point is 00:11:36 A sculpture of a woman wearing a bridal gown, which we just saw. In the ground floor dining room, Epstein entertain a rotating guest of celebrities, academics, politicians, and businessmen. The food could be mundane, sometimes nothing more than a buffet of Chinese takeout, but the events were anything but. Photos show that guests sat in leopard print chairs around a large rectangular table. Occasionally, attendees said in interviews, a magician performed. Sometimes a chalkboard was wheeled out so a guest could sketch a diagram
Starting point is 00:12:06 or write a mathematical formula, Epstein preserved a map of Israel drawn on a chalkboard with Mr. Barack's signature, according to photos reviewed by the New York Times. Now, let's get into the photos that Epstein kept in this mansion. You can see here, photos show a credenza crowded with frame snapshots, flaunting Epstein's connections to some of the world's most recognizable people. And these photos have never been seen before, or at least the photos that are being held inside of Epstein's house.
Starting point is 00:12:34 The photos have been, but not them being stored in his house. There was Epstein smiling alongside Pope John the second, Mick Jagger, Elon Musk, and Fidel Castro. Elon Musk has historically denied any connection to Epstein. So this is pretty explosive that he kept a photo of him in his house. Here's some more, and you can see some other familiar faces. Also pictured were Larry Summers, Bill Clinton, and Richard Branson. Now, here's a photo of Donald Trump that Epstein kept in his house. You can probably recognize this photo.
Starting point is 00:13:03 You've seen it before. It's Trump, Melania, Epstein. And what's interesting about this photo is that he actually cut out Glein. Epstein cut out Gleine of that photo, which I thought was interesting. But he kept this right here, along with all the other powerful, wealthy people that he knew around the world. So when Donald Trump tries to say, oh, the connection wasn't that deep, we weren't great friends, I beg to differ. Nearby was the photo from 2000 showing Epstein with Trump and, of course, the future first lady. Next to that was a framed dollar bill signed by Bill Gates, possibly as payment of a bet.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Quote, I was wrong. the Microsoft co-founder wrote over George Washington's face. Up a grand staircase was Epstein's wood-paneled office featuring a massive desk. Photos show a taxidermy tiger lounging on a lush rug. Here are more photos of him in his personal life. In the office, according to photos reviewed by the Times, Epstein showcased a green first edition of Lolita, the 1955 novel in which an intellectual develops a sexual obsession with a 12-year-old girl and repeatedly assaults her,
Starting point is 00:14:03 atop a wooden sideboard were more framed photos, including one of Mr. Epstein's with Saudi's crown prince. And this is inside his house. Another flight up on the third floor was Epstein's sanctum, a suite that included his bedroom, the mansion's infamous massage room, and a cluster of bathrooms. And here's a more expansive look at the bedroom. You can see it here. Mounted in a corner, and this is a really important detail in all this, mounted in a corner above his bed was a surveillance camera, a surveillance camera.
Starting point is 00:14:31 We're going to get into the significance of this, in just a second photo show. That's just one camera that was located in the house. Another, a second camera can be seen in an adjoining room. You can see up there the white circle around it. That's another camera in another room. Several of Epstein's victims have said that the mansion was outfitted with a network of hidden cameras, which is true.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Maria Fiverr, or excuse me, Maria Farmer, for example, said that Epstein had a bunch of cameras in his houses monitoring private moments. And what's significant about this revelation, these photos of the cameras in Epstein, House is that the Trump administration has said that there is no footage of Epstein doing anything to anybody or there's no footage of any other people in Epstein's world doing anything to anybody. And people like Maria are saying, well, that's just crap. I mean, he told me that there were cameras in his house. He told me he had videos of me doing inappropriate things with him or in these private moments that she would describe it. And the Trump administration is
Starting point is 00:15:27 trying to say that actually those photos don't exist at all. In the massage room, we're paintings of naked women, a large silver ball and chain and shelves stocked with lubricant, according to photos reviewed by the times. Mr. Epstein regularly directed teenage girls. Some recruited from middle schools in Queens to massage him while he was unclothed. Sometimes he did certain things in front of them. I'll keep a PG. No surveillance cameras were visible in the photos of the massage room. And there's more in the story talking about his office. That's the tachydermied tiger in his own home. and there were a bunch of different birthday messages that they found. But one important detail of this article that I thought was really fascinating
Starting point is 00:16:07 was actually not in the article at all. It was in the comments section that the New York Times has on a lot of their articles. And Amy from Massachusetts asked, how is all this information obtained? Why is it available now? Can you please report on your reporting process? And the answer from the editor is fascinating to me, saying, hi, Amy, these are good questions,
Starting point is 00:16:26 but I'm afraid there's not a whole lot I can say because of the need to protect sources who provide us with information. The one thing I feel comfortable sharing is that we publish this information as soon as we were able. This is not something we've been sitting on. I fully recognize that this is frustrating as a reader
Starting point is 00:16:41 to not have transparency about where slash how journalists get information like this, but I hope you can also understand that protecting sources is paramount. People need to be able to trust that we will protect their confidentiality when they come to us with important information. Speaking of which, if you or anyone else
Starting point is 00:16:57 would like to share stuff with us, here's a secure way to do so, including their tip link. This quote is almost as fascinating to me as the entire article. Like we're seeing these different photos from inside Epstein's house that we've never seen before, all these different wealthy people, powerful people that we've seen those photos publicly but not the fact that Epstein kept them in his house on a like mantle. Those photos are fascinating. The cameras in the corners completely contradict the Trump administration's argument.
Starting point is 00:17:22 But what I find interesting is that this means what he's saying right here is that people are still coming forward with information about Epstein. photos have never been seen before. There are still people out there who know things about this story, who have revelations that they could release to the New York Times or any other publication, and they haven't yet. So hopefully, this inspires more people to come forward talking about Epstein and Trump and maybe perhaps their connections and were connections to more people whatsoever. But it's just interesting that now people are starting to come forward with this entire conversation. And the New York Times has some sources who at least appear to be on the
Starting point is 00:17:57 inside. Sources who would have access to these photos inside Epstein's mansion. And I wonder if there are more people out there who know more and are just waiting for the right moment to come forward. You can only hope.
