Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, folks, this is a really important story that I want to talk to you about today. Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth are complete and total failures. Everything they've done with the Iran War and foreign policy broadly has backfired on them spectacularly. And now they don't want you to find out that information because they are going after leakers within the Pentagon and even giving high-ranking members a polygraph test to find out who might have spoken to the media about their many different failures. This is a very aggressive tactic, not one that is normally done in a successful administration. But look, Donald Trump is spiraling. The midterms are just three months away. Nobody wants to vote for Republicans.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Nobody wants Donald Trump to have more power. And so he thinks by doing stuff like this, he might be able to turn things around, which is certainly not the case. And Donald Trump has made it a priority to go after leakers before. Back in early August, this is what he said about it when the story came out that munitions had been depleted and we didn't have enough, which is also central to the story about Pete Hegseth, which we're going to talk about in just a moment. Trump said, the U.S. has massive amounts of munitions, which is not true, especially of certain types.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Additionally, large amounts are being manufactured and shipped to the U.S. as needed, which is going to take years. Defense companies are building the largest numbers of plants and factories in our country's history. The leakers of these treasonous statements are being hunted down. Long-term jail sentences will be sought. So Donald Trump even kind of revealing this story, a month in advance, but he says they're being hunted down. They're going to try to get jail sentences for these people, which is pretty crazy.
Starting point is 00:01:33 And look, these leaks have plagued the Trump administration because the American people should know about their failures. This is one that came out recently that apparently has really bothered Pete Hagseth. This was an exclusive from the Washington Post. Several U.S. military leaders have advised Pete Hagseth that prolonging large-scale operations against Iran is unsustainable and risks weakening their ability to front threats elsewhere. This has been a huge concern throughout the war in Iran that, let's just say hypothetically, Russia expands their war in Ukraine. Let's say they go after a NATO country. Let's say
Starting point is 00:02:07 China goes after Taiwan. The United States would be very unprepared for that. We would not be able to support our allies in the way that we should be able to. And Pete Hegg-Seth has taken this reporting and kind of said, don't care. I want to do what Donald Trump wants me to do. I want to continue fighting a war that nobody wants. The hell with our enemies, the hell with being prepared around the world. It is really just incompetence personified. The warnings detailed for Hegeseth by the heads of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, so the big guys, and the four-star commanders overseeing U.S. operations throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America appear in the August 14th edition of the Secretary of Defense Order's book, the SDOB. These people said, they described the assessment
Starting point is 00:02:47 to the Washington Post on the condition of anonymity because Donald Trump wants to throw them in jail. The SDOB typically produced twice monthly outlines the worldwide availability. of U.S. warships, aircraft, personnel, and weapon systems. It reflects the president's priorities for the force, which are carried out by the defense secretary and includes insights from the military's top generals and admirals that inform the directives the Pentagon issues. But according to this, according to the top dogs in our military, we are weak. We are vulnerable. We will not be able to support our allies if needed. We wouldn't even really be able to support ourselves if needed in the way that we would want to.
Starting point is 00:03:23 And Pete Hague says that says, to hell with that. Don't care. Don't care whatsoever. And we know that because Pete Hagseth is still bragging about the Iran war on social media. You'd think knowing this information, maybe he'd say, okay, it's time to wind it down. We got to get out of there. This is absurd. We want to be prepared. But no, Pete Hagsetth is still going online saying it's simple.
Starting point is 00:03:42 If Iran shoots at U.S. ships, we will destroy their oil tankers. All they have to do is not shoot at U.S. Navy. Iran's oil tankers fleet is defenseless. Iran has no Navy or Air Force. Our planes, ships, and subs can strike them all, which is like a contradiction, Because in the first sentence, he says, if Iran shoots at us, we'll shoot back at them. But then he says that they have no Navy or Air Force, that they have no military. Donald Trump has also claimed that, so which one is it?
Starting point is 00:04:05 Can they shoot at us or do they not have a military? They can never make their minds up. But the other concern for Pete Heggseth is that nobody respects him in the Pentagon. That's probably why there are so many leaks because he is so incompetent. And these people are concerned about the stability and strength in our military. He has no support in the military. People do not respect him. He's even been given a.
Starting point is 00:04:25 nickname, a humiliating nickname at that that has now been leaked. Check this out. Army heroes humiliating nickname for Pete Hegseth is leaked in his effort to transform himself from a misogynistic loser-boozer, which might have to be the new name for Pete Hackseth. I love that. Into the man running the world's most powerful military, Pete Hegseth wrote the 2024 book, The War on Warriors, the 46-year-old Secretary of War, of course the Defense Department, which is what normal people call it, is now waging his own war on America's most distinguished warriors as he seeks to create a cult within a cult at the Pentagon. Generals who want to remain in Hegeseth's military must be blindly loyal not only to Donald Trump, but also to a preening fake tough guy who was sidelined in the National Guard. That
Starting point is 00:05:11 being Pete Hegsteth's nickname in the Pentagon is no tab Pete because while in uniform, he had none of the patches such as Ranger and Sapper that signify special combat skills. And can you really say that you're surprised? Two and five Canadians will hear the words you have cancer. That's why every step and dollar raised matters. Starting point is 00:05:52 Register today at PMCF. This guy? Yeah, I don't think he has special combat skills. I just think he's a complete and total idiot. And this is also backed up by the fact that the Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, who recently resigned, made sure to inform Donald Trump of Pete Higgsett's incompetence on the way out. Talk about a lack of respect. He's openly telling the President of the United States that Hegset has absolutely no idea what he's doing. Check this out. During a White House meeting last week, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll brought his concerns about the future of the army under Pete Hegsseth directly to Donald Trump, a sign of how far tensions between the two Pentagon leaders had escalated.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Trump was surprised when Driscoll told him how many generals and other top officers had been fired, pushed out, or passed over for promotion under Hegsef. One of the people said, Driscoll argued that the army could not transform itself in the way that it needs to because of the departure of so many leaders. This person said, adding that Trump expressed concern about the deep cuts to the Army's senior leadership. Driscoll informed the president of his intention to resign, and by that day, Driscoll was on his way out. Hegset's purge of the military has been so dramatic that with Driscoll gone, the military's largest service is left without a top civilian leader,
Starting point is 00:07:07 a Senate-confirmed top general, a confirmed army general in charge of operations, or a confirmed commander of army troops in Europe. That's a lot of vulnerabilities under Pete Hegsteth, a lot of weaknesses under Pete Hegseth that he doesn't really care about. He's more concerned about going after leakers. And of course, in the story we're about to get to, it's not the first time. There was allegations around a year ago in May of 2025 that Pete Hegseth was illegally wiretapping the phones of people he believed to be leakers
Starting point is 00:07:38 within the Pentagon. This has been a main priority for him, a priority that nobody really cares about, a priority that once again goes to speak to how disrespected Pete Hegseth is in the military, how chaotic it's been behind the scenes. If things were going well, people wouldn't feel the need to inform the American people about the failures because there wouldn't be many. There wouldn't be many. But Pete Hegseth is anti-transparency. He's anti-winning, I guess, because everything he does just seems to backfire. And now let's get into the story because it is
Starting point is 00:08:06 insane. In Major Leek Hunt, Pentagon gives polygraph tests to joint staff members. This is wild. U.S. government investigators have taken the extraordinary step of subjecting roughly 50 members of the U.S. joint staff to polygraph tests over leaks to journalists, including about how the Iran war has created a shortage of crucial munitions, according to officials briefed on the move. The investigators asked military officers and civilian employees on the joint staff if they disclosed classified information to members of the press and about whether they provided information about diminished U.S. munitions stocks. The polygraph tests were conducted in August after a flurry of news reports detailed diminished stocks of crucial munitions, including of long-range missiles and Patriot Interceptors.
Starting point is 00:08:49 The show of force appeared aimed at not just ferreting out anyone who may have shared information, but intimidating others who might do so in the future. And of course, check this out. Remember, Donald Trump in early August saying any leakers are treasonous and they will be hunt down and they will be prosecuted. We're going to seek jail sentences for them. Between 1,500 and 2,000 officers and officials work for the joint staff, which is a lot of people. In a statement, the Pentagon would not comment on this, basically saying, we don't comment on internal operations. We will not talk about it any further.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Securing classified information is critical to the United States. But of course, Donald Trump didn't do that when he was indicted for hoarding classified information. But MAGA doesn't like to talk about that. The scope of the investigation is without parallel. Mass polygraph tests have never been administered to the top ranks of the U.S. military in modern history. Quote, I've never seen polygraphs employed this broadly or at this seniority level. said Rear Admiral Donald J. Gutter, a retired top judge advocate general for the U.S. Navy from 2000 to 2002. In my experience, it's unprecedented.
Starting point is 00:09:53 The move comes as multiple news organizations have revealed details about the drain munition stockpiles and reported on concerns inside the administration about the direction of the conflict. Trump has, of course, pressured administration officials to go after leakers before, but this really is, as the retired admiral said, unprecedented. We really haven't seen something like this before, and Trump is making it very clear that if anybody talks to the media about his failures, the administration's failures, the failures of the Iran war, he's going to go after them. He believes them to be treasonous, and he wants to throw them in jail. This is a very, very serious escalation in this fight. Most of the time, Donald Trump has been talking on social media, and we haven't gotten many details on what that actually entailed, like what the war would be, what the investigation was to find out who the leakers were. But this story, perfectly aligns with Donald Trump's statement in early August. These polygraphs were given in August around the time that the munition story was in the news, which was early August.
Starting point is 00:10:53 And now what do you know? We find out that they have been polygraphed. Senior members of the military have been polygraphed by Donald Trump and Pete Hagseth. It's concerning. And, you know, who knows what happens after this? Who knows if they actually found anybody and will be prosecuting them? We shall see. But this is a very, very serious story.
Starting point is 00:11:10 It is Donald Trump attacking transparency in the military. which is never a good sign. You don't really do that if you're successful in a war. You know what I mean?
