Harry Sisson breaks down Trump's latest hire for his White House team and their deleted social media posts that have resurfaced.

So Donald Trump posted on social media, it is my great honor to have just appointed as Press Secretary Katie Zachariah. Katie currently serves as Senior Communications Advisor to Truth Social, in brackets, Trump Media and Technology Group, where she has been outstanding. A native of California, Katie previously served as spokesperson and deputy assistant secretary for public affairs at the Department of Homeland Security. And he continues with this long rant about how much he loves this new press secretary he just hired to replace Caroline Levitt. But all that excitement among the MAGA base and within the White House quickly dissipated when we discovered her deleted social media posts, which were really, really bad. I mean, kind of advocating for Donald Trump

to take over states that he doesn't like or suspending habeas corpus, backing his claims of election fraud, and more. She is just as extreme as everybody else in the Trump administration. And this is not the headline you want when the midterms are less than a moment. month away. So I want to break down these deleted posts, these rants that she went on that she deleted, hoping that nobody would see them, but we have them now. And first and foremost, let me just point out that her social media posts that she deleted are not the only crazy things that she said online. These posts are still up. So for example,

when Renee Nicole Good was murdered by ICE, she said this about it. Quote, a car can be considered a lethal weapon, especially as seen with this driver who drove into and hit the ICE agent. This is clear self-defense and arguably defense of others with retaliatory lethal force. Plain and simple. Of course, that's not actually what happened. We saw the video. We saw that Renee Nicole Good was not trying to drive into any ICE agents.

And shooting three times, including into the driver's side window, is not self-defense. Not even a little bit. But that's the position that she took, obviously just being a mouthpiece for Donald Trump in the administration, before she even worked for the administration. She was just doing it for love of the game. Here's another one that's pretty concerning. New White House Press Secretary, Katie Zachariah, currently sits on the board of a Canadian mining company, NRED,

that is actively undercutting America's domestic critical minerals industry. Christy Noem also joined the board after being fired from her role as DHS Secretary. I think we have some big questions here, such as, is she going to get off this board after she becomes press secretary officially? I guess she already is technically now. So has she left the board? That remains to be seen. You know, is she still making money from this position and working for a foreign country's company?

That's something to keep in mind, a question to be asked. She has also been on newsmax and different right-wing media outlets. She was big on Fox News saying, we need to ramp up deportations, which I don't think any American actually agrees with night right now. You know, Donald Trump, before the 2024 election was really popular on immigration and everything he was saying. Now he's underwater. One of the biggest issues that got him elected, he now is. losing on. And so this position of, hey, we need to ramp them up, probably not going to resonate a lot with Americans who are seeing mass agents in unmarked vehicles picking people off the streets and then

sending them to torture prisons in El Salvador with no oversight. She has also claimed that the abortion pill, Mifipristone, comes from Nazi Germany. So she claims that the same chemicals are used in this as they used in some of the facilities, the gas chambers and Nazi Germany, which is completely false and deeply offensive, but this is what she claimed. Being on Seth Gruber's White Rose board is just an extension of my passion to see him be able to kind of cut through the culture war and get right to the heart of, you know, depopulation efforts of abortion, that the racist background of abortion, you know, the abortion pill has the same chemicals that they used in the exterminate, you know,

exterminate camps in Nazi Germany. So this is just categorically false. There's actually a fact check on this on Elon Musk's Twitter website, which is interesting. When Elon Musk's Twitter is fact-checking you, you know it's bad. And the fact check says Nazi gas chambers use hydrogen cyanide and carbon monoxide. Abortion pills contain neither, not even one of them. Miphystone is a synthetic steroid that blocks progesterone,

and misopristol is a synthetic prostaglogen analog. So not the same thing, but she was on podcasts lying about this. She also has deep ties to China, working in Beijing for years at a Chinese law firm. You know, Tim Wals, when he was running for VP, he taught in China as a teacher for like a year and Republicans made a big deal out of it. But she has deep associations with China and Republicans are silent and Donald Trump doesn't really care about it. It's just interesting. And I thought this point by Brian Stelter of CNN was really good about how close she is to just being a Fox News contributor without actually being one.

Tough act to follow. Caroline Levitt is beloved by conservative activists for her. defense of President Trump. Leavitt was a happy warrior, and it makes sense that the president was reaching out to Leavitt and others getting counsel as he decided who to replace Levit with. Now, Katie Zachariah is the closest you can get to a Fox News contributor without actually being on the payroll at Fox. She's been a regular guest on the network for many months, often appearing from California. She's also appeared on other right-wing TV platforms. So the president certainly knows her and her television power from that platform. She also briefly worked for the

the parent company of true social for the past couple of months. So she's had a number of roles in the Trump orbit. Now she's joining the White House. Yeah, I think that's pretty accurate. And look, these are, again, are not the headlines that you want when the midterms are right around the corner and your approval rating is sitting at 37%. You have a lunatic, essentially, coming into the Oval Office whose rants, whose social media posts have been exposed in a deeply, deeply embarrassing way.

So let me get into the story with you. Donald Trump's new press secretary. Katie Zachariah is already generating some very bad press. The 41-year-old reportedly tried to scrub her social media of a controversial posts, promoting false vaccine conspiracies, urging Trump to run for an unconstitutional third term, and calling for the federal government to take over California, the state that she lived in, which is such a weird thing to advocate for. The deleted posts were uncovered in a deep dive by the bulwark,

which used the internet archives way back machine to find an old Twitter account that Zachariah deleted four years ago, along with some more recently deleted posts. In one post last year, Zachariah responded to a message from Trump advisor, Stephen Miller, about sanctuary cities by calling on the nation to, quote, suspend habeas corpus, a fundamental legal protection against arbitrary or unlawful arrest and imprisonment by the government. Suspending this would also mean suspending somebody's ability to challenge their arrest in front of a judge. That's something that she was advocating for not that long ago, and now she's the new press secretary, and you can see this is the tweet that was deleted from this old Twitter account that she had.

In a separate post, in a dismissive response to a comment by Governor Gavin Newsom, she wrote that the federal government under Donald Trump should take over all California because you clearly can't be trusted to do a single thing. You created the spectacle over and over again. They are solving the problem. That's what she said to Governor Gavin Newsom. I thought the Republicans were the party of small government. I thought you guys didn't want the big, big bad scale.

government taking over states and being more involved with states than needed. I thought that was you guys. But oh, maybe that only applies when you want to ban things like abortion or make it harder for black people to vote. That's when they don't want the government involved. Got it. My bad. She also shared an article that falsely claimed that eight in ten women had a miscarriage after getting the COVID vaccine, the bulwark reported, which is utterly insane. And obviously there's no data to back that up. I mean, think about it. She's claiming that millions upon millions of women suddenly had miscarriages and just nobody really knows about it. There's only these niche studies that back it up, which there aren't any to be clear. Nice. Zachariah has also accused leftist transgender assailants,

just throwing in all the buzzwords of being responsible for at least a dozen school shootings. Now, statistically speaking, white men are, and this is not, you know, trying to be political or funny here, this is the data. White men make up the overwhelming majority of school shootings and mass shootings generally. So maybe you should look up the data, Katie. While the tweets will, quote, likely endear her to the elements of the MAGA base, they could create uncomfortable questions for her when she faces the media in the White House Press briefing room.

Man, oh man, I'm excited for the very first press briefing that she does. We'll cover it on the show. The Daily Beast has reached out to the White House for comment and gotten nothing in response. Trump, of course, has praised her saying that she has an unblemished record of support and has been loyal and a brilliant supporter right from the beginning. She is likewise a devoted fan and a member of MAGA. which, you know, really is the only qualification you need to be successful in Donald Trump's White House. Have you been loyal? Are you part of MAGA? Then you'll get hired. She has the respect of,

and will work fantastically with the media, the American people and my administration. And this is them hanging out previously. She's been part of Donald Trump's world for a while now. Zachariah, an attorney, briefly served as a spokeswoman for former Homeland Security Secretary, Christy Knotem. She also worked as a communications advisor for truth social and whatnot, as Donald Trump mentioned. But some very concerning posts. You know, you don't really want senior members of the government demanding that habeas corpus be suspended just because you don't like, you know, Democrats in the country or immigration policy in the country. It really is absurd. But, you know, Donald Trump has insane people around him, which also isn't a good look going into

the midterms. And for some reason, they're all insistent on making headlines right now, which I imagine is not to the applause and appreciation of some of the people in Donald Trump's world who are like, you know, political strategists. So for example, Pete Hegset is absolutely advertising that we're bringing back public executions in the United States for the first time since the early 1900s. Not exactly the precedent you want to be setting for future generations and for the moment we're in right now because most people, rightly so, find this to be appalling. Public executions are weird and they want to live stream it actually, which adds another layer of disgustingness to it. What about, you know, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who recently had a pretty brutal article come out about him,

where he has lost an unusually high number of treasury employees in his first 20 months, including many he brought in that were Senate confirmed. He's already churned through three chiefs of staff. His staff is so afraid of his volatile behavior that they try to gauge his mood before showing up to meetings and celebrate when he is out of the office. And there's a lot of reporting of bullying inside of the treasury by Scott Bessent. And of course, Natalie Harp. Natalie Harp, she recently was seen with a very strange Wikipedia printout.

She has been referred to as Donald Trump's human printer, and she was walking with a member of Trump's administration holding a very strange Wikipedia cutout. And of course, it was about the Nobel Peace Prize. Donald Trump is deeply upset that he didn't win it. Navi Pillai, the human rights attorney actually won the award. He went on this rant on True Social. We talked about it on the show where he was saying nobody knows who this was. I've solved eight wars. This woman hasn't done anything.

In reality, she's worked with the ICC, the UN. She worked on the Rwanda genocide investigating that. She's worked on what Israel has done in Gaza, labeling it a genocide in the report that she published last year. She was instrumental to that report. So she's done a lot of things involving human rights. Like she's dedicated her work to this. Donald Trump doesn't think so because he is a total idiot. And Natalie Harp was seen with a Wikipedia printout with her face on it.

So Donald Trump's energy secretary was photographed clutching a printout of a Wikipedia page about the president's latest target while returning to the White House in late Friday. alongside Chris Wright, as he showed off the wad of papers, was Natalie Harp. Donald Trump's adoring aid. On close inspection, the papers in Wright's hand were clearly a printout about Nobel Peace Prize winner Navi Pillai, the veteran South African Human Rights campaigner led the UN Commission that concluded that Israel committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. So this is the photo that was caught.

And once again, Mike Tyson was just like hanging out with the Trump administration all day. But when you zoom in, you can see that this is the cutout. They are this obsessed with this Nobel Prize. winner. Donald Trump is so deeply offended that he didn't win this award when he absolutely did not deserve it under any circumstance that now he's having members of his administration target her as well. And I just say congratulations to Navi Pillai on a well-deserved award and for also getting under Donald Trump's skin. She committed the horrible sin of standing up for human rights. And now that she, and now because of that, she's caught the attention of Donald Trump because

he's just so angry that he didn't get it. I mean, what a disgusting human being. And this is just the Trump administration. It's a clown show. And now you can add this Katie Zachariah figure in it as well in these deleted posts that we now have. Just appalling all the way around. So look, I will leave the video there.
