Starting point is 00:00:00 We are now learning more about this potential ground operation that Donald Trump wants to launch in Iran, boots on the ground. And of course, the plan is incredibly dangerous. And it puts tens of thousands of American troops in harm's way. And Donald Trump is doing this because he wants to extract Iran's uranium to make sure they never get a nuclear weapon. Now, any time this comes up, I like to remind people that we had a deal that prevented Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. It was the JCPOA, Obama's nuclear deal. It did just that. And what happened to that deal?
Starting point is 00:00:30 Donald Trump ripped it up. And now we find ourselves in this predicament that Trump has put us in. But I want to talk about this operation with you. And also on the show yesterday, we discussed the fact that the Pentagon is preparing plans for weeks of ground operations. Other sources are saying months. And so it looks like every day it's getting closer and closer to whatever operation Donald Trump decides to go with.
Starting point is 00:00:54 But I want to get into the story with you right now. Please make sure to subscribe down below. Drop a like on the video. comment. Let me know what you think about it. If you're on Apple or Spotify, please make sure to rate the show five stars and follow along. And without further ado, let's get into it. I want to start with Donald Trump's latest statement on Iran. He put it out last night. He said, big day in Iran. Many long sought after targets have been taken out and destroyed by our great military, the finest and most lethal in the world. God bless you all, President DJT. Of course, he didn't identify any of these targets in this post. He just said that it happened. And this does not sound like a guy who wants to make a deal. You know, he keeps talking about this,
Starting point is 00:01:29 deal with Iran that is on the verge of completion, and yet he's celebrating taking out many targets in Iran saying it's a big day. God bless everybody. It's fantastic. So this to me just doesn't spell peace or dealmaking. I mean, that's not exactly surprising with Donald Trump. And yesterday on Air Force One, he was asked about sort of this report, asked about, you know, are you going to put troops on the ground? Are you still considering it? And his answer was very interesting. Take a look. Be soon. Are you considering still putting boots on the ground? And would you do that without going to come? I just have lots of alternators.
Starting point is 00:02:00 We have tremendous numbers of ships over there. We don't need them all because of, you know, the power. Look, I would say we're just like we're ahead of schedule on the ballroom, in a much bigger way, we're ahead of schedule with Iran. We're weeks ahead of schedule. If you would have said that in three days we were going to knock out 158 ships their entire Navy, which we did, we knocked out their entire Air Force. We knocked out most of their missiles.
Starting point is 00:02:28 That's why you see missile attacks, but they're down to, they're sputtering. And we have a group. It's really a new regime. It's a new group of people, people that we've never dealt with before that are acting very reasonable. It is truly regime change. So Donald Trump just doesn't understand what regime change means, apparently. He said that we had regime change in Venezuela when, in reality, the Venezuelan vice president
Starting point is 00:02:54 just took over for Maduro. It's like, you know, they worked in the same administration. that's not regime change. The same thing in Iran. Kameenie dies and then his son takes over. That is not regime change. I don't know what Donald Trump thinks he's saying here. I guess he just doesn't understand the definition. But once again, he's talking about many alternatives. He's talking about taking out Iran. It sounds like he's getting closer and closer to boots on the ground. And specifically on this report as well, I want to show you one more video of Brian Stelterer, a journalist on CNN who made an interesting connection about this very possible operation that Donald Trump
Starting point is 00:03:25 is talking about specifically with the focus on getting their uranium. Take a look at what he said on CNN last night. Two important questions as we enter another week of this war. One, where is the president getting his information? What are his sources? A recent NBC report indicated that he watches a highlight reel of strikes inside Iran showcasing U.S. military successes. That raises concerns about whether he's being told the full story about the war day by day.
Starting point is 00:03:50 So where is he getting his information? And who is he talking to in the press or in the media to get his memory? message out. For example, earlier today, Trump had a phone interview with a reporter from an Israeli TV network who relayed his messaging about the Iranians begging to negotiate. But check this out from yesterday. I thought this was a really interesting, revealing true social posts. Trump's saying, hey, everybody tune in to Mark Levins show on Fox. He's going to have an interview of the, quote, brilliant Mark Teeson tonight at 8 p.m. So here you have Trump yesterday acting like a Fox news programmer urging everybody to tune in to Fox, specifically, because they'll discuss the
Starting point is 00:04:25 importance of hitting Iran hard. Now that strongly suggests to me that the president had talked to live in or the guest ahead of time and knew it was coming up. So take a look. Here was Mark Levin, who was an Iran war hawk, urging the president to send in some forces. Troops on the ground. He said, no, troops on the ground. I don't remember that in any campaign speech either. But why would we need troops on the ground? Well, there's a lot of reasons, and we wouldn't need 300,000 of them. It's this uranium, too. We've got to get the uranium. And now we have reporting that Donald Trump wants to go get Iran's uranium, specifically focusing on that in an operation. So as Brian Stelter was pointing out, it seems like Donald Trump is being influenced on this war
Starting point is 00:05:17 and getting his ideas on this war from Fox News hosts who are Iran war hawks. They want nothing more than to go to war with Iran. By the way, from Mark Levin, if he wants to go get this uranium so bad, I will personally pay for his flight to go fight in Iran. I don't care how old he is. No excuses, Mark, go fight. I will personally pay for his flight. Let me know if you want to take me up on the offer, Mark. I don't expect it. But anyway, Wall Street Journal talking about this very operation seems like Donald Trump has been influenced by Fox News, which is terrifying. Trump is weighing extracting their uranium. Trump is weighing a military operation to extract nearly a thousand pounds of uranium from Iran, according to U.S. officials.
Starting point is 00:05:56 complex and risky mission that would likely put American forces inside the country for days or longer. Trump hasn't made a decision on whether to give the order, the officials said, adding that he's considering the danger to U.S. troops, but the president remains generally open to the idea because it could help accomplish his central goal of preventing Iran from ever making a nuclear weapon. The president has also encouraged his advisors to press Iran to agree to surrender the material as a condition for ending the war. Trump has been clear in conversations with political allies that the Iranians can't keep the material, and he has discussed seizing it by force if Iran won't give it up at the negotiating table. Now, let's be clear about something. Any operation
Starting point is 00:06:35 that puts troops on the ground in Iran, especially one that goes to seize their uranium, would be incredibly dangerous, almost certainly leading to American troops dying. Iran is a complex country, a large country, and what if U.S. Intel fails? What if we don't exactly know where this uranium is, and we get caught, and they're trapped? Something along those lines could very easily happen, and I truly do not believe that Donald Trump is considering the possibilities of what might occur here, the possible consequences of what might happen here. Pakistan, Turkey, and Egypt have acted as intermediaries between the United States and Iran, but Washington, Tehran haven't yet engaged in direct negotiations to end the war.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Quote, it's the job of the Pentagon to make preparations in order to give the commander-in-chief maximum optionality. It does not mean the president has made a decision, Caroline Levitt said. On Sunday night, Trump told reporters that Iran must do what the United States demands or they're not going to have a country. Referring to Iran's uranium, Trump said they're going to give us the nuclear dust. Now, there is no deal on the table. Donald Trump is just saying things, hoping that it comes true. But when he says they're not going to have a country, that sounds like a broader operation than just going to get their uranium.
Starting point is 00:07:45 That sounds like Donald Trump really just wants to obliterate anyone and anything inside the country. And it looks like he's willing to use U.S. troops to do that. put them boots on the ground. Before Israel and the U.S. conducted a series of air strikes on Iran in June last year, the country was believed to have more than 400 kilograms of 60% highly enriched uranium and nearly 200 kilograms of 20% fissile material, which is easily converted into 90% weapons-grade uranium. International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Grosse has said he thinks the uranium is mainly at two of three sites that the U.S. and Israel attacked in June, an underground tunnel at the nuclear complex in Isfahan.
Starting point is 00:08:24 and a cash at Natanz. The Iranians have centrifuges to enrich uranium and that capability to set up a new underground enrichment site, experts said. The president and at least some of his allies have said privately it would be possible to seize the material in a targeted operation that wouldn't significantly extend the timeline of the war and still enable the United States to be done with a conflict by mid-April. Trump has told associates he doesn't want a protracted war, even though Donald Trump seems to be doing everything in his power to get a protracted war.
Starting point is 00:08:53 and boots on the ground would almost certainly extend that, regardless of how it goes, whether they get all the uranium or they don't get the uranium, it would almost certainly extend that war even further. So we're learning more about this operation. It seems like Donald Trump is leaning toward this in particular, but keep in mind, there are many things that are being discussed behind the scenes, whether it be going for the uranium, going for Karg Island, doing something with the Strait of Hormuz, or all three of those things.
Starting point is 00:09:19 I mean, he could do some, not all, or all of them are none. it remains to be seen. I will keep you updated on all of it, but it's incredibly concerning, and I'm going to keep an eye out for any major updates here. But, you know, Donald Trump's saying, a big day in Iran referencing what happened yesterday. Does he mean anything in the future? I don't know. It remains to be seen. Thank you so much for watching.
