Harry Sisson breaks down major updates in the Iran war that could have catastrophic consequences for the United States.

Look, folks, I got to be honest, I am terrified by what I just read, not only because it puts American troops in harm's way, but also because it would be Donald Trump dealing with this issue. And quite frankly, I have no faith whatsoever in Donald Trump's decision making. He has proven himself time and time again to be completely incompetent. And so when we get stories like this, the worst case scenario is always an option. And I think that should really scare every single American. So we're going to walk through this story, talk about the. major new developments in the Iran war, plus more in addition to what you see on your screen right now. So, via CNN, we learn that Iran is building up defenses of the Karg Island to protect against a potential U.S. ground attack, which kind of indicates that they have some reason to believe that this attack is happening. And the kind of defenses they're using are traps, moving military personnel, air support personnel and equipment and things like that, but specifically these traps, they are lining the island with explosives. And Donald Trump thinks it's a good idea to invade it. And we know that Donald Trump is moving toward an invasion because earlier today, CNN reported

that all of the necessary pieces are in place for the United States to do just that. Take a listen to what they had to say. Well, Audi, whatever the president ultimately decides about a ground operation in Iran, all the pieces are now in the region to carry one out. And it's not just the thousand paratroopers. You have Marines deployed to the region. And then all the forces, the air transport, et cetera, that one would require to put troops on the ground, whether that be, you've heard the discussion of Karg Island, which is so central to Iran's energy industry, or perhaps along the shores of the Strait of Hormuz to secure the Strait of Hormuz, we don't know. And ultimately, it's up to

the president. Ultimately, it's up to the president. Terrifying with Donald Trump in there. And that gets back to this story of what this possible invasion will look like, what this ground operation will look like. And CNN is reporting that Iran is getting ready. And it's also concerning because Donald Trump has underestimated Iran every step of the way, which has led to fatal consequences.

And now we're here where he might, his ego might force a ground invasion, which causes thousands, hundreds, however many American troops to die. According to CNN, Iran has been laying traps and moving additional military personnel and air defenses to Karg Island in recent weeks in preparation for this possible operation. The Trump admin has been weighing using U.S. troops, excuse me, to seize the tiny island in the northeastern Persian Gulf and economic lifeline for Iran that handles roughly 90% of the country's crude exports as leverage over the Iranians to force them to re-operable. in the Strait of Hormuz.

But U.S. military officials and experts are saying there would be significant risks in such an operation, including a large number of U.S. casualties. Yes, the island has layered defenses and the Iranians have moved additional shoulder-fired surface-to-air guided missile systems known as manpads there in recent weeks. Iran has also been laying traps, including anti-personnel and anti-armor mines around the island, sources said, including on the shoreline where U.S. troops could possibly stage an amphibious landing if Donald Trump move forward with a ground operation. So they are ready.

Donald Trump has not exactly kept his goals secret here. It's not like he's launching a D-Day invasion of the beaches of Karg Island. He has kind of said this publicly, made it known that this is what he wants, and Iran is very much ready. They are preparing, and it could have, as I mentioned, fatal consequences for U.S. troops. CNN also provided a more in-depth report on their show today about this. front tonight the breaking news. Iran laying traps ahead of a potential American ground invasion. So here's what sources are telling CNN tonight. They say Iran is actively preparing for an invasion of Karg Island. That is that eight square mile island at the top of the Persian Gulf, 20 miles off the coast of Iran,

that exports nearly 20 percent of the country's oil. So obviously it's central for Iran and artery. It's an island, in fact, that Trump has long talked about invading. Now, the traps that we understand that are being put. quit there, okay, from CNN's reporting. Anti-personnel and anti-armor mines, we understand, placed around the island. And Tehran also apparently quickly moving a large number of actual troops and air defenses to this island. It's crown jewel and its oil industry. So far, we understand that includes shoulder-fired, surface-to-air, guided missile systems as well. Now, all of these things could result, clearly could result in a large number of U.S. casualties if U.S. ground forces invade,

according to U.S. officials and military experts. And some in Trump's inner circle are sounding the alarm, warning him that seizing that island would not resolve the issues related to the strait of Hormuz. Yeah. It certainly would not resolve the issues. But that's the problem with Donald Trump. And this is the main problem that I see it.

I think that like no matter what Trump's advisors tell him in the Oval Office, he's just going to do what he wants to do. He's not a guy from everything we've seen in his time in politics that actually takes advice from people who knows better than him and who are educated on these things, are informed on these things, are experts in these things, he will just trust his judgment. He thinks he knows best. That's what Donald Trump has always done throughout his entire life. And so my concern here, and that's why I'm so terrified reading this, my concern here is that that's exactly what's going to happen. Iran is going to taunt Donald Trump. They're going to mess with him publicly,

say something publicly. Donald Trump is going to get offended and say, you know what, I'm going to flex American muscle and we're going to launch this invasion. and he's going to ignore all the warning signs, the red flags that are very clearly there and get people killed. And Americans are going to come back in body bags and coffins draped with American flags. I fear that this will happen. I hope it doesn't. I hope there's not a ground invasion given everything we know. But this is a very real possibility that people have to consider right now as we move forward,

especially because of other pieces of news we're getting out of the Middle East, which is the Pentagon is preparing to send an additional 3,000 troops. to the Middle East. We already have tens of thousands of troops there in different bases and troops that have already been moved over as part of Operation Epic Fury, otherwise known as Operation Epstein Fury, I digress. Now they're preparing an additional 3,000 with a bunch of equipment along with them. And also on this, you know, this card story, these traps that we're learning about is especially concerning because the Iranian government flat out rejected Donald Trump's proposal to end the war. they sent their own back and Trump rejected that one as well. To be clear, they're very far apart. So it's not like the Iranian government is making a reasonable request here. They are certainly not. The two sides are very far apart. So there's no deal. There's no middle ground that they're near right now. We're not even getting reports that they're even close to a deal. And so they're not, they're rejecting deals or sending more troops over. Iran is moving troops into the region and they're preparing for this ground invasion. It kind of feels like it's only a matter of time.

It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when Donald Trump decides to do that. And we got to sound the alarm right now. And to give you just some final context on how bad things are in the Middle East, I think this is a really good indicator. This is the Strait of Hormuz of vessel traffic. It's daily transit. And you can see before the war, they had like over 130 vessels going daily at 128. And then things started to set in.

And now we're looking at one to maybe six vessels every single day. and we wonder why the global economy is cratering. We wonder why everything is so expensive. Things continue to get more expensive by the day. It's because of Donald Trump. I mean, that's where the blame lies. If he never started this war, we would not be in this position. And this story that we're talking about here with these traps that Iran is building up

is not to fearmonger. It's not to scare people. It's the reality. This is happening right now. And the guy that's dealing with it, the guy that will make the final decision, is Donald Trump. That is really scary to me. So anyway, you can let me know
