Look, folks, I really think the country is at a breaking point.
And it's because of Donald Trump.
It's because of the MAGA Republicans.
It's because of the way they govern.
Not only are they incompetent, but many of these Republican politicians in office right now,
I would describe as just straight up evil.
They actually don't care about the people they represent.
They care about enriching themselves.
They care about sucking up to Donald Trump.
It is a gross position that we find ourselves in here in the United States.
And I think a lot of voters, people even who voted for Donald Trump,
Donald Trump in 2024 are fed up.
The way we're moving, the way that Donald Trump is running this country is unsustainable and it won't
last.
It feels like it's disaster after disaster in this country.
And in just the past week or so, I really think that point has been hammered home.
I mean, yesterday, of course, we have that tragic shooting in Minneapolis where an ice agent
murdered an American citizen in broad daylight and how did Donald Trump and MAGA respond?
by defending ICE.
I mean, this was the statement that Trump put out,
and I'm sure you've seen photos and videos from the scene already.
But Trump said, I've just viewed the clip of the event
which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
It was a horrible thing to watch.
The woman screaming was obviously a professional agitator,
and the woman driving the car, the woman who was murdered, might I add,
was very disorderly obstructing and resisting,
who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE officer
who seems to have shot her in self,
defense. Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he's alive, but he is now recovering in
the hospital. And if you've seen the clip, if you actually seen the photos from the scene,
there was no possibility of this man being run over. He just killed her, right? It seems like he
just wanted to kill her. And the idea that he had to go to the hospital and it's hard to believe
that he's alive, like, what is he being treated for in the hospital? And it's total nonsense.
And what's especially baffling about this for me is that this is actually, or yesterday, was
actually an opportunity for the Trump regime to take a good position, right? And it's not that
hard to do. They don't have to spit in the face of their base or anything like that. They don't
have to turn their back on any promises. They just have to do the right thing, which shouldn't
be that big of an ask, right? It can just be, you know what? We saw the video. It obviously was
not self-defense. This obviously was murder and broad daylight. That's a really easy position
to take because it's what we all saw with our own eyes. And yet the Trump regime decided
to not do that. They decided to call the woman a domestic terrorist, insult her, her family,
the community say that she was attempting to kill the ICE agents. It is insane. It is baffling
the political calculation they're doing in their mind where they think the American people
are watching this and they agree with them that there was a domestic terrorist in the car
trying to kill this officer, which is nonsense. And that's why I say this stuff is unsustainable
because I really believe average Americans are looking at this and they're baffled. And I think
the numbers are showing that as well. The approval numbers.
numbers, certainly, Donald Trump's numbers have never been lower. And then after that insane
statement later in the day, at 11.05 p.m. last night, Donald Trump then attached a Fox News
clip to one of his truth social posts saying, when a vehicle is coming at you and is being used as a
weapon, deadly force is justified. So Donald Trump has now gone a step further. At first, he was like,
you know, it appears to be self-defense. I'm baffled that the ICE agent is alive. But now he's just
fully justifying it. He's including clips
from Fox News where they're like, yeah, actually, this is
great. Good. Wonderful.
Yeah, no, no, it's good. It's insane.
It's insane.
That's why, like, average Americans aren't
imagine average Americans aren't looking
at this like this makes sense.
You know, I'm not talking about the MAGA base.
I'm talking about your independent out there. Your independent
voter who's thinking, you know, 2026
is somewhat around the corner, not that far away,
the midterms, who am I going to vote for?
And they see Donald Trump defending
a murder? Like, really? I really don't think
people are going to fall for that. And then in addition to that, yesterday, Donald Trump also
made an announcement about the military. He wants to raise the military budget to $1.5 trillion.
It's already at $1 trillion. We already have a military budget of around $1 trillion.
Donald Trump now thinks it should be $1.5 trillion. So not only is he defending murder, but in the
same day, he's also saying, yeah, let's spend more on the military and not spend that on the
American people, you know, education, health care, social services, things like that.
Donald Trump's the same guy who says we don't have money for any of these programs, but
apparently we have half a trillion dollars to put into our military to raise it by that amount.
Seems kind of weird.
And what's interesting about this post in particular is, you know, he's saying, you know,
this is what we're going to do.
This is what we're going to do.
We're going to raise the military budget.
But before that, he was going in on Raytheon.
He was saying he was going to put certain restrictions on Raytheon saying either they step up and starts investing more up front or they will no longer be doing business with the Department of War.
It's sent their stock collapsing.
Their stock cratered.
And then after Donald Trump put out the later post saying that he's going to increase the military budget to $1.5 trillion, the stock went back up.
So it's almost like Donald Trump is once again manipulating the market so him and his buddies can make some money.
It kind of seems like that.
The stock ended the day positive after cratering when Donald Trump targeted in particular.
particular. And we also have, of course, what Donald Trump is doing in South America. He now says,
they're now at least working on a plan to control Venezuelan oil, not just for a month, but for years.
Donald Trump wants this almost permanently. In addition to him threatening Colombia, Cuba,
you know, Panama, Greenland, all these other countries around the world, he now wants to control
Venezuelan oil permanently, or at least for many, many, many, years to come. That's the plan. So no focus on
the United States, and when we do focus on the United States, it's justifying murder,
but this is Donald Trump's plan, working on a goal to control the Venezuelan oil for many, many
months. And please don't forget about the Epstein story, in addition to all of this. So we have him
invading countries, threatening countries, defending murder, raising the military budget to
$1.5 trillion. He's also actively breaking the law, right? The Epstein files have not been released.
The deadline to explain the redactions in the Epstein files has come and went. Came and went, just like
They didn't do anything.
And that's why I say, genuinely, when we're looking at all of these things, all of them as a
combination, it's unsustainable.
I think we're at a breaking point in this country.
I think if the midterms were held today, tomorrow, whatever it is, Donald Trump would
lose in historic fashion.
And this is really important to say as well, these midterms are looking bad for Republicans,
but it's not just going to happen.
We actually have to get out there and vote.
We have to make our voices heard.
So we can't just hope that other people do.
it for us and, you know, get burned. It happens. But I think if the midterms were held today,
given everything we just looked at, which is a very small portion of the many different disasters
that are going on in the Trump regime, I think Donald Trump would get wiped out. And I think
the way that he is governing is unsustainable. And I think it only can get worse from here.
I really do. I think this murder we saw yesterday, I hope is the last. But as tensions continue
to grow as people are unhappy with Donald Trump.
I don't know.
I'm just nervous.
I'm really nervous for the future, but I really can't wait for the midterms.
The sooner the midterms come, I really think the sooner will be.
So a bad couple of days, a bad week for Donald Trump, but also a bad week for the United
States because this is the guy leading us.
And so, man, hope things get better, but we shall see.
I will leave the video there.
