The Republican Party is falling apart and they are doing it to themselves.
It seems like every decision that Trump and MAGA makes nowadays is just actively backfiring on them.
They keep shooting themselves in the foot and voters are noticing.
And I want to lay out in a clear and coherent manner just how bad things have gotten for the Republican Party
and how bad it's going to be come the midterms in November, which really aren't that far away.
And let's start here with one of the worst headlines that Donald Trump would see today.
new polling gives Trump a brutal midterm reality check, and maybe Trump hasn't received this reality check up until this moment.
But new polling shows Donald Trump is facing greater chances of having to face a House controlled by Democrats eager to take him on after the 2026 midterms.
Republican Congressman in New York and Pennsylvania are trailing behind their Democratic challengers in a pair of key races, according to polls out this week from House Majority Pack.
The fresh data comes as voters have soured.
on Trump and Democrats barely need to flip a handful of seats to retake the majority and the
Speaker's gavel for Mike Johnson.
It is so vital that not only do we win the House, but the Senate as well.
The Senate because of courts and judges and the Supreme Court, but the House because we want
to investigate Trump.
We want to investigate him, his corrupt dealings, his corrupt dealings for his family and
more.
It has to be a top-down analysis of this administration and everybody who have used taxpayer dollars
to get rich, the corruption, the crimes.
need to be looked into. And if Democrats take back Congress, either the House or the Senate or
hopefully both, we can get that done. And that's why it's so, so, so important. And you can see
some of the graphics here. I mean, these question marks here are the flip seats. These are the
seats that could go either way, whereas the light blue is kind of lean Democrat, light red is the
lean Republican. In New York 17th congressional district, Representative Mike Lawler, one of the worst,
is trailing behind Democratic candidate Kate Conley by six points in a district he won by six points
less than two years ago. The GOP congressman was polling at 45% to Conley's 51%. Lawler's favorability
is also underwater at 39%. His standing in the district is similar to Trump's favorability
with just 38% viewing the president favorably, while 60% view him unfavorably. In Pennsylvania's
battleground's 7th congressional district in the eastern part of the state, Republican rep Ryan McKenzie
is trailing Democratic challengers, excuse me, Bob Brooks. Brooks is polling at 47% ahead of McKenzie's
43. These are swing districts and you're having like four to five percent leads in these districts.
That's huge. You normally don't see it in areas like this. Normally it's kind of up in the air.
Democrats win by a few thousand. Republicans win by a few thousand. Having these candidates winning by six
points, five, four, six points, huge, very, very significant. A majority of voters in that district as well
have an unfavorable view of Trump. And this extends to a variety of other districts as well where
Republicans are just completely underwater. That's just an example of two swing districts,
but others, they are doing even worse. And look, I got to be honest, this is not exactly surprising.
I mean, Donald Trump has said things like this over the past couple of months, specifically on the
topic of affordability.
I don't think about not even a little bit. The only thing that matters that I'm talking about Iran,
they can't have a nuclear weapon. I don't think about American financial situation.
I don't think about anybody. I think about one thing. You could not let.
It's like one of the worst political clips I've ever seen.
And on the topic of Iran, he's also backtracking on promises like no war.
I was the first president in decades who started no new wars.
No new wars.
We don't need the wars.
You insisted no new wars.
Before, I didn't guarantee no war.
When you say I promised, I didn't promise anything.
They said he will start a war.
I'm not going to start a war.
I'm going to stop wars.
Lay down your arms and receive full immunity or face certain.
death. She would get us into a World War III guaranteed, and then all of your sons and daughters will
end up getting drafted to go fight for a war in a country that you've never heard of. The lives of
courageous American heroes may be lost, and we may have casualties. We're doing this for the
future, and it is a noble mission. Just complete contradiction after contradiction, and I mean,
it's just disgusting, and Americans are really making their voices heard, and we can do that even more so.
come November. I mean, Donald Trump's approval rating is underwater, but it won't mean anything if we don't
win elections. So we got to get out there and vote. But to be clear, it's not just Donald Trump. It's not
Trump who is screwing over the Republican Party alone. You also have Republican candidates like Michigan
GOP Senate candidate Mike Rogers arguing that concern over affordability is just Trump derangement.
This is what they're saying with the midterm elections, you know, not that far away. What are we like,
four or five months away from the midterms at this point in July? We're not that far away.
and Republicans are arguing that affordability is a scam.
It's a fraud, as Trump has said before.
State government.
$10,000.
I mean, it just drives me insane, governor, that they even think that they're going to get away with it.
But what they're betting on is that people are not going to stop from it.
They say, Trump cause high prices.
And people go nuts.
They lose their mind.
I do believe there is this Trump derangement.
Right.
Absolutely.
Well, that's why getting the message out is key.
No doubt.
All these are probably, they believe it's trumped arrangement because people are pissed off over
war that we don't want and prices going up because of a war we don't want.
Got it.
Great messaging, MAGA.
Here's Scott Jennings as well, talking head at CNN, one of the worst in media, saying gas prices are lower today than when he took office.
Immediately fact checked on the spot.
And what was the highest price of gas under?
No, no.
I don't.
Did you ever conduct a meeting about gas?
The question is, the question is, how are.
out. What is the gas is lower today than it was before he?
No, it's not. No, it's not.
No, it's not. No, it's not.
Gas is not lower today than when Trump took office. And it's not lower today than it was
before Trump started the war. So look, you can dismiss the gas thing, but it's a real thing.
That people are going to the gas pump filling up their tank, and it's costing them 70 bucks.
I appreciate it. I appreciate it.
On January 20, 20, 20, 25. Just saying. It's less.
Yeah, we're at a lower Brent crew price.
today than we were on January 20 compared to when Trump came to office.
I mean, it varies.
It's only going to average gas prices higher today than it was when Trump.
I can't even believe that they're doing this when it's so easy to fact-checked.
I mean, you know, what is it?
Scott Jennings said that coming into office, gas prices are lower now than when Trump came
into office.
So this is when Joe Biden left office.
January of 2025, dollar, it's $3.11 at the pump per gallon.
Okay.
Now, right now, Donald Trump, 391.
It's not even close to the same price.
It's not even close to being below it.
They're just making stuff up.
It is absolutely insane.
And how about Republicans last year in 2025 killing the Affordable Care Act subsidies?
They just, they have not done anything about it.
And their pitch to the American people is, oh, don't worry, Donald Trump's health care plan is coming in two weeks.
He said that like four years ago, five years ago, however long Donald Trump said that ago.
And they've done nothing on health care.
A lot of people are pissed off over health care, rightfully so, because Republicans are defunding Medicare, they're defunding Medicaid.
They just couldn't care less about people's health care.
And now we know that people are unenrolling, or at least enrollment in the Affordable Care Act in health care broadly is going down, mainly fueled by young people like me and my age range, not prioritizing health care.
And I advocate that everybody should have health care.
You never know what could happen to you.
But young people are saying it's too expensive.
the Affordable Care Act without these subsidies is too expensive.
We're not doing it.
And that makes us worse as a country.
And Republicans have absolutely no answer for it.
So just across the board, you can look at any issue, affordability, gas prices, health care,
some of the things that are polling at the top of minds for Americans.
That's what they're thinking about this election and for the midterms.
And that's what they're thinking about right now in 2026.
Republicans are failing on all of it.
And what's Donald Trump's response?
What's he doing about it?
Don't worry, everybody. Fear not. He's building a ballroom. He's building a reflecting pool. He's, you know, redoing statues and ponds and fountains in Washington, D.C. It is absurd. And look, we know I want the country to be successful, whether it's a Republican or Democrat in office, but we all know for a fact that that will not happen under Donald Trump. It just won't. And so we can hope come the midterms that we win and the Republicans lose. And I think we're on a good track because,
Trump, as I mentioned, really seems to be tearing the party apart at any opportunity he gets.
