Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, folks, I want to know what you think about this because I think we're all missing something major about the story surrounding Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, specifically how their relationship ended. They were best friends for 20 years. They partied together according to people who knew them both at the time. They were inseparable. And then one day they weren't friends anymore. Why? Donald Trump has offered one explanation, but it's kind of crumbled over the years as new information has come out. He's provided different explanations.
Starting point is 00:00:26 And now just the other day, the Wall Street Journal provides. more insight into how their relationship ended, but I remembered something that we all saw over the summer, something we talked about on this show. And it's journalist Michael Wolfe, who is Trump's biographer and someone who spoke frequently to Epstein before he died. Jeffrey Epstein gave Michael Wolf a different explanation for why Trump's relationship with him ended, and it actually has some connection to this Wall Street Journal article. And I haven't seen anybody talk about this or the media talk about this. So we're going to do it here because this article, I think, really just blew everything open.
Starting point is 00:01:04 So we're going to talk about this and more. I'll explain all of it. Try to break it down. But I do want to hear from you. So of course, let me know. Subscribe down below. Drop a like. You know the whole thing by now.
Starting point is 00:01:13 But without further ado, I want to talk about this. So the Wall Street Journal publish this article, it's titled the incident that prompted Trump to ban Epstein from Mar-a-Lago Spa. And this was previously unreported details. We hadn't known any of this. So Epstein wasn't just a frequent visitor to Donald Trump's Mar-Lago Club in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the club was also sending spa employees, usually young women, to Epstein's nearby mansion for massages, manicures, and other spa services. Now, these girls would inevitably be assaulted at Epstein's mansion by Epstein by Galane Maxwell.
Starting point is 00:01:47 So Donald Trump was essentially sending these young girls to their demise. So Epstein was using Mar-a-Lago as essentially a ground to get these girls into his orbit. which is so incredibly incriminating for Donald Trump. The house calls went on for years, even as spa employees warned each other about Epstein, who was known among staff for being sexually suggestive and exposing himself during the appointments, according to former Mar-a-Lago employees. The spa occasionally provided house calls for members, but Epstein wasn't a member. He wasn't a due-paying member.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Donald Trump just made an exception for him. But that all came to a halt in 2003 after an 18-year-old beautician returned to the club, from a house call to Epstein and reported to managers that he had pressured her for intercourse. Trump learned of this and then later banned Epstein and now that's where Donald Trump says things were cut off. Now Trump for years was sending girls to Epstein's house even though everybody knew he was creepy and then finally in 2003 he decided to ban him and that's where Trump says things ended. That's it.
Starting point is 00:02:51 He banned him because he was creepy. But then over the summer he said he banned him because he quote stole Virginia Joufrey, which again is such a disgusting way to talk about her. But that's not all because Donald Trump claims that's where it ended. But this article says that actually they continued to cross paths. They were in fierce competition for a Palm Beach property up for grabs in bankruptcy in late 2004. And Epstein's message book showed two calls from Trump in the month of the auction, which Trump won. So Trump says they cut off in 2003, but in 2004, in late 2000,
Starting point is 00:03:26 Euststein was being called by Donald Trump. And that brings us to what Michael Wolf said, because Epstein says that their relationship ended over this real estate deal, not because he was banned from the spa. They continued to cross paths. They continued to talk on the phone. But Epstein, according to Michael Wolf, provided more context on why their relationship ended, and it's so much deeper than him being banned from the spa. And when I remember this last night, it was like, man, I have to talk about this with the folks on YouTube
Starting point is 00:03:56 on the show and wherever you're watching this because it is that significant. So I'm going to play what Michael Wolf said about what Epstein said about their relationship ending. I know this is probably a lot. Maybe it doesn't make sense, but it makes sense in my head. But anyway, we're going to listen to what Michael Wolf had to say. And it really does connect to what we heard from the Wall Street Journal. So take a listen.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Now, Epstein's explanation for why this friendship ended is as follows. In 2004, Epstein believed himself to be the high bidder on a piece of real estate in Palm Beach, a house. $36 million was his bid. He took his friend Trump around to see the house to advise him on how to move the swimming pool. Trump, thereupon, went around Epstein's back and bid $40 million. for the house and got the property. Epstein, who was well-acquainted, in fact, deeply involved with Trump's scattered finances, understood that he didn't have $40 million to pay for this house. Now, if that was the case, it was someone else's $40 million.
Starting point is 00:05:22 At the time, Epstein believed this to be the $40 million dollars. of a Russian oligarch by the name of Rhybelov. Less than two years later, this same house that Trump had bought for $40 million was sold for $95 million. And it was, in fact, sold to Mr. Rivalov. This is all a red flag of money laundering. And what Epstein did, and he was furious
Starting point is 00:06:00 about losing this house. I mean, there's something about these, these guys that nothing rouses them so much as a real estate betrayal. Epstein, after the sale of this house, after Trump went around his back, got this house, Epstein began to threaten him. He began to threaten him with lawsuits. He began to threaten him with going to the press
Starting point is 00:06:30 and saying that, that Trump was a front man for a money laundering deal. Trump panicked at this point. And Epstein believed, and he believed to his dying day, that it was Trump who went to the police, Trump who was fully acquainted with what was going on at Epstein's house, fully acquainted for many years. Trump went to the police and, as Epstein said, dropped the dime on him.
Starting point is 00:07:10 That is to say, informed the police of what was going on. And an investigation began and all of Epstein's legal problems for the next 15 years began to unfold. This story about this piece of real estate and their form, out was first published in June 2019. It was published actually in my book, Siege, the second book I had written about the Trump White House. Epstein had recounted this story to me. I put it in this book.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Epstein at that moment was in Paris. He read the book, he called me with some alarm, and he said, said, said he was, He was afraid that he might have said too much. Three weeks later, he returned to the United States from Paris and was promptly arrested on the tarmac of Teterboro Airport in New Jersey when his plane landed. Wow. I mean, you can let me know what you think about if it's too far-fetched or if you agree
Starting point is 00:08:34 or if you think it's viable. But it's interesting because all we've heard from Donald Trump over the years is that I cut him off after I banned it from the spa. We never spoke again. That's not true. They spoke on the phone in 2004. Michael Wolfe is saying that Donald Trump and Epstein toured this property and then Trump went behind his back, backstabbed him, bought the property instead, and, you know, these two egotistical narcissists battling over property, it's like a major hit on their ego. So Epstein says I'm going to the press about this money laundering that he believes,
Starting point is 00:09:04 was taking place. And there were actually quite a few allegations against Donald Trump cooking the books back then as he has his entire life. And then Epstein believes that Donald Trump tipped off the police to what Epstein was doing as like a backstab. So all of that is to say that Donald Trump was not only providing whether he knew it or not, girls to Epstein, but the idea that their relationship broke off in 2003 after he was banned from the spa is total nonsense, not only because we have records of phone calls, but Epstein's explanation actually lines up with what we're reading in this article, that they were talking about this Palm Beach property that was up for grabs. And that's why their relationship ended. Not because Donald Trump saw
Starting point is 00:09:48 Epstein do anything creepy or he knew he did something bad or he was upset with something along those lines. It's because of this real estate deal. And they were friends after this banning. So anyway, that's what I thought about last night. You can let me know what he's think about this. I'm genuinely open to hearing your thoughts, and I want to know what you think. But I think it's interesting. So I'll leave the video there. Thank you so much for watching.
