Florida is about to have a black governor, Byron.
What the heck does that have to do with anything?
She calls her a protection of black.
Are you serious?
That's not manufactured racism.
That's straight up racism.
It's not manufactured racism.
It's so ignorant to say that.
It is pretending that Republicans.
Man, oh man, the Republicans got owned last night on CNN during this
very, very intense debate.
And honestly, there's nothing I love more than watching the MAGA Republicans
humiliate themselves in front of the entire country.
And don't they understand?
that it's always a losing argument. Have they not figured that out yet that if you're still defending
Donald Trump or if you've ever defended Donald Trump? That's always a losing argument. I guess they
haven't caught on yet. So I want to show you some clips from last night's very heated debate. I think
you're going to enjoy them. We'll talk about them a little bit. But let's start here with a heated back and
forth on the Middle East. A Trump supporter tries to claim that Israel is our number one ally. And my friend
Isaiah Martin pointed out that they are the ones who dragged us into this war with Iran. And
there was a back and forth on that, and I just want you to see it. Take a look.
I think they said 95%. Iran has been a bully in the region forever.
He has, that's been in control to have a constant threat, not only against our number one ally,
Israel, not only against our ability to get oil.
Our number one ally?
Really?
I'm sorry, number one ally that goes and suckers us into war?
Yeah, that was kind of a similar to there.
That's his point out of one area.
You think that there's another ally.
You think that there's another ally in the region.
If you want to talk about Western values.
about succoring the United States into war as we speak.
There's one of his campaign platforms
that he's pushing right now.
Yeah, it's on his social media.
Yeah, it was on Israeli TV.
You have an answer?
Sorry, so we should be signing us.
I'm not with the implication.
Yeah, I'm very well used.
What are you implying?
Are you implying that the United States
was dragged into war by Israel against our interests?
That's what he said.
He said, he said,
Bibi said,
Noah, Beebby said on television,
it took a long time to get the US to come to its senses,
But it finally got it to, but I finally got it to attack it under my influence over its leaders
through a thousand hours on American television.
That came right out of the leader of Israel's mouth.
I got them to attack it.
I got another country.
He had lobbied, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and he finally found a president that would do it.
And a lot of the military leaders are saying, we don't want any part of this.
Yeah, you're right.
I mean, absolutely, 100% right.
I mean, it's so crazy to me that Republicans are still trying to run with this argument
that Israel's our number one ally in the world.
There are our number one ally.
I don't think your number one ally drags you into a war and then brags about dragging
you into a war.
That just seems counterintuitive to me, no.
And the Democrats on the panel are right that Netanyahu is in Israel right now
bragging about dragging the United States, running this influence campaign, lobbying Donald
Trump and members of his administration to get involved in this war.
I mean, we have clips of it.
They're going viral.
Netanyahu appealing to Israeli voters by boasting that he manipulated Trump, quote,
it took a long time to get the U.S. to come to its senses, but I finally got it to attack Iran due to my
influence over its leaders through a thousand hours on American television. That is what Netanyahu
has said. And so these Republicans trying to, you know, justify Donald Trump's war,
defend it as an act of strength, really they should defend, they should call it what it is.
It's an act of weakness that Donald Trump was so easily manipulated. He was so easily convinced
to go to a war that is not in America's interest that nobody wants. That's what actually happened.
the conversation got even worse for the Republicans when they started talking about Laura Lumer.
Donald Trump's right-hand woman, one of his biggest fans, biggest supporters.
She's gotten a lot of pushback recently, rightly so, because she has said some very racist
things online about some women of color, saying, for example, the media will clip my language
about Angie Nixon, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Presley, Corey Bush, and Justice Katanji Brown Jackson
and call me racist. I don't care. These women are all ghetto, entitled, race-obsessed. I'm not
even going to finish it. It's just disgusting. You can read it for yourself. These are the kind of
things that she has said about these people. It is racist. It is gross. And that got called out.
You know, Republicans are really focused on Hassan Piker and his association with the Democratic Party.
But in the CNN clip, they pointed out, what about Laura Lumer? What about Trump hanging out
with her? About disloyal appointees, disloyal staffers and Biden holdovers. And I guess I guess you could
say that my tip line has come to serve as a form of therapy for Trump administration officials
who want to expose their colleagues and who should not be in the positions of their end.
Laura's talking about herself,
and I'm talking about what Democrats say about Hassan Piker,
like that he is my friend.
Okay, but let's just take it one at a time.
Let's play what Donald Trump has said about Laura Lumer.
Hi, Laura.
Boy, you are something.
What spirit you have.
Laura?
You know, she could be a little nasty, but to me, she's always nice.
So that's all that matters.
I want her to stay that way, too.
Laura Lumer is a very good patron.
She makes recommendations of things and people.
And sometimes I listen to those recommendations like I do with everybody.
She recommended certain people for jobs.
Who did she recommend?
Well, she'll recommend that too.
And I know she's known as a radical right.
But I think Laura Lumer is a very nice person.
I like her.
So right now, isn't that something?
Isn't that something?
All these Republicans want to talk about Hassan,
Piker, that's all they want to talk about. They want to talk about his association with the Democrats.
They don't, however, want to talk about these insane Republicans, these lunatic people on the right
who say awful things every single day. They are racist. They are bigots. They are gross. And they
want Democrats only to be condemning Hassan Piker. They don't want Donald Trump to be condemning
Laura Lumer. And then it got even worse. I mean, it just keeps getting worse for the Republicans
because this moment happened where one of the Trump supporters tried to call what Laura Lumer has said.
manufactured racism, which it most certainly is not.
It is just racism.
It's bigotry.
Take a look.
Yes, go condemn Laura Lumer.
So, but this is all a distraction.
This is all a distraction because, because.
From you guys' failed economy, I would agree with that.
It is manufacturing racism because Florida is about to have a black governor.
Byron.
What the heck does that have to do with anything?
What?
Are you serious?
It's not manufactured racism.
That's straight up racism.
It's not manufactured racism.
not manufactured racism.
It's so ignorant to say that.
It is pretending that Republicans.
Truly, truly, it is so ignorant.
She called her a ghetto black bitch.
That is racist.
Do not say it's manufactured racism.
It is heinous to say that.
And I'm so tired of it.
Honestly God, the only reason we're talking about Hassan Piker,
I'm sorry, is because he's on the left.
We have had right-wing shock jocks for years.
We had freaking Rush Limbaughan ringing a bell every time a gay person died of AIDS.
We have Nick Fuentes dining at Mar-a-Lago after he says,
women are your body my choice.
We've got these right-wing Christian zealots who said women shouldn't vote and were nothing but
vessels.
They are all on the right wing.
And we're not asking every single Republican candidate and sitting person if they approve of
them, if they should disown them, if they should do this.
The only reason we're doing this is because it's one person from the left that said something
extraordinary.
And we can't even have this one woman who is literally the president.
I'm old enough to remember that every Republican in Congress is asked to respond to things.
He got a presidential.
The Medal of freedom from the president we have right now.
So please stop.
Noah, really.
I mean, respond to what you.
Cook.
She cooked.
Leah McGowan.
I love Liam McGowan.
I'm a fan of her.
I've met her a bunch of times.
She is a fantastic individual.
And she just cooked.
She just cooked every Republican on that panel.
And exactly.
What was the point she was trying to make?
I loved my friend Isaiah's reaction.
What the hell does that even mean?
What the hell does that have to do with anything?
Byron Donald's becoming the governor of Florida means that
Laura Lumer and the Republican Party's not racist? What? It is so stupid. I mean, I just can't even
believe that these things come out of their mouths when they're on live television. You know, it's just
crazy. I think, look, they said it all. They said it all perfectly. You know, they just said it all
perfectly. The final clip I want to bring up is a Republican getting cooked when Donald Trump's
racist rhetoric is brought up.
I said it needs to be conditional. I mean, I want to see one about Laura Lumer. We keep talking
about influencers. The president
of the United States
describe people from Somalia
as garbage. That's right. Randy
Fine, Republican Congressman,
compared Muslims unfavorably
to dogs. That's right.
The Republican nominee for Senate in Georgia
tweeted a video
at the time of pro-Palestine
protests of a white counter-protester
racially abusing a black
woman. Those are not
influencers. Those are the president of the
United States and office-holds.
in this time. One final point, Abby, just before we stop this, that we're all talking here
about political influence. What Laura Lumer said was flagrantly racist. And if there's someone
watching this show tonight, maybe, because it was racist, classist and sexist. And if there's some
working class, young black woman, maybe in student government or in her community, today watching
this, she knows that if she goes further, she'll have to put up with that kind of crap from a woman
who is defended by the president of the United.
100%.
Well said again.
I mean, really, the Democrats have cooked here tonight with that CNN panel.
Yeah, I mean, you know, this racism, this bigotry is still alive and well in the Republican Party.
Republicans claim that it's been eradicated.
You know, Donald Trump is the least racist president ever.
I think, well, Trump has claimed that he's done more for black Americans than Lincoln.
That's how far they've gone with this whole crap.
But if you just look into what these Republicans are actually saying, what they're doing
social media, what they're posting on social media, what they're reposting on social media,
it becomes abundantly clear that this is alive and well. It really is. So look, I will leave
the video there. Thank you so much for watching. I just had to talk about this panel that took
place last night. It was so well done by the left-leaning people on the show. Please make sure to

Have an amazing rest of your day.
Don't you wish you could just hit skip on the worst parts of your life? You know the same way you
can skip an ad? I get it. I'm Siaia and I live in Ice Cove. I've made some questionable decisions
that didn't end up the way I planned. And today I'm still figuring it out. Somehow things
usually get worse before they get better. Apparently, that's how I roll. So bundle up and come
along for the bumpy ride. Stream a new episode of North of North Tuesdays on CBC Gem.
And we will talk soon.
