The Harry Sisson Show - MAGA Fans ABANDON Trump Over AWFUL Reiner Post

Harry Sisson breaks down the MAGA response to Trump's awful post regarding the passing of Rob and Michele Reiner.

After the tragic passing of Rob and Michelle Reiner, there were some MAGA fans celebrating online, making fun of it, but everybody was kind of waiting to see what Donald Trump would say. Would he take the high road and say, you know, my thoughts go out to their family? It's a tragic thing. Or would Donald Trump be, well, Donald Trump? And the latter is always the correct bet when it comes to this narcissistic, egotistical lunatic. Because earlier today, Donald Trump put out a disgusting post about Rob Reiner's passing. and unfortunately for him and unexpectedly for him, his own base is turning on him.

And I'm shocked. I saw MAGA fans celebrating it. Now, a lot of the people responding to Donald Trump, including elected officials, MAGA influencers, are condemning him. Without further ado, let's just start with the post that Donald Trump put out.

I'm sure you've seen it by now. He woke up angry. He said a very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling but once very talented movie director and comedy star has passed away together with his wife, Michelle, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive unyielding and incurable affliction with a mind-cripling disease known as Trump derangement syndrome. Sometimes referred to his TDS.

He was known to have driven people crazy by his raging obsession with Trump and his obvious paranoia reaching new heights. This is what the president said about a man being murdered. A man being murdered in his home alongside his wife by allegedly, according to reports, their son. This is how he responded. A disgusting lack of empathy, but I don't expect anything less from Donald Trump. He's essentially saying that his dislike of him caused his death, which is outrageous.

And I think for normal people, that is outrageous. And I don't think Donald Trump got the response he was hoping. I think he was expecting the base to laugh and joke along with him, but he got the exact opposite. And if we just look at the comments on his post, it tells us everything we need to know. For example, this first post, it is first response to Donald Trump from Bell's Rider. It has 5,600 likes. It says, sir, Mr. President, I love you. I support you 100%.

I do not support this post. Highly inappropriate, and it puts us in their box tacky and tasteless. Interesting. This guy says, the left celebrated Charlie Kirk's death. We mourn Rob Reiner's and his wife's death. We are not the same RIP responding to Donald Trump. Now, of course, the left did not celebrate the passing of Charlie Kirk. There were a few people out there who did.

But the Democratic Party, as a whole, our elected officials certainly did not. Whereas the president of the United States, the leader of the Republican Party, is very much celebrating the passing of Rob Reiner, making jokes about it. And again, hasn't even been 24 hours. yet. He's still saying that. How about this one, Rebecca for USA? I love you, but this is seriously distasteful. And of course, let's just be clear. These are all MAGA fans. These are on Donald Trump's social media platform. This is not a place where liberals and Democrats hang out. This is where the lunatics hang out, the MAGA fan base, the diehard fans who are willing to download his app, create accounts on his platform and support him. How about another one?

45 Liberty Lady. Terrible response to this tragedy, unbecoming of the office of the president. I voted for you three times, but this is beyond the pale. It keeps going. Not classy. Expect better of you, Mr. President. Oh, sir, please take this down. While all of this post was true, it could have been better to leave out the TDS part. Don't love that comment either. And then, you know, you get into the usual people supporting Donald Trump or this one saying disgusting posts do better. A man and his wife are dead. It was a horrific act of violence. I appreciated his work and not his politics to align their deaths with T. only insights. Please show some humility. Say you are sorry for your thoughtless words that undoubtedly

hurt his fans and loved ones. I know you are doing a great job. Forget that part and you didn't actually write this post, Fire Susie Wiles. As a maga, I've tried my best to support you every step of the way, but not this time. Every human, I repeat every human deserves respect during something like this. I'm ashamed that you posted that. And it goes on. There are plenty of more posts in his own comment section saying that. But I want to get to some of the influencers. And here's more, just another example of people farther down the list saying, I respect you. This was uncalled for. You could have just said RIP. Come on, Mr. President. Not an appropriate thing. Again, his own social media platform. But I want to get into the influencers and people in MAGA circles who responded to

this. This is Jenna Ellis, one of Donald Trump's former lawyers. She said, a man and his wife were murdered last night. This is not the appropriate response. The right uniformly condemned political and celebratory responses to Charlie Kirk's death. This is a horrible example from Trump and surprising considering the two attempts on his own life and should be condemned by everyone with any decency. One of Donald Trump's own former attorneys. This is somebody that Donald Trump pardoned, that long list of January 6th pardons that he issued in the dead of night back early in the fall.

Jenna Ellis was part of it. And I bet Donald Trump is regretting that now because of her post. Here's Russell Moore, who is, as you can see, the editor at large. at Christian Times Today magazine. The Christian Time magazine. This is somebody, again, a religious person, a fan of Donald Trump, he said how this vile, disgusting, and immoral behavior has become normalized in the United States is something our descendants will study in school to the shame of our generation.

Or what about this? A Turning Point USA contributor, a content creator for that organization responding to Trump saying, Trump really said, how can I make this horrific murder of a father and mother about me. Shake my head. That's what SMH stands for. Shameful. This is coming from Charlie Kirk's organization, Turning Point USA. She works for them, makes videos for them, is in line with them, and even she is turning on Donald Trump. Megan McCain, who I'm sure you folks know about, she can be not great sometimes, but this time she is on the nose. This is awful, cruel, and beneath Donald Trump. Well, I don't know about that part. I don't think this is beneath Trump,

but regardless, many things in life are more important than politics. The Reiner family is in unfathomable pain. The son killed his parents in a double murder. Why add to the pain? Let the entire family have peace and privacy. Here's an elected official, Mike Lawler from New York, saying the statement is wrong. Regardless of one's political views, no one should be subjected to violence, let alone at the hands of their own son. It's a horrible tragedy that should engender sympathy and compassion from everyone in our community. So you have elected officials, MAGA influencers, MAGA fans in his comments section. commentators online. I mean, it seems like the entire Republican Party today came out and said,

don't do this. Don't say this. This is wrong. And I talked about this on my show earlier this morning, how there are MAGA fans out there celebrating it who are making fun of it. And if you want to check out that, you can see that as well. There are absolutely people out there making fun of it and celebrating it. Donald Trump, you can now add to the list. But many Republicans coming out and saying the exact opposite, even Pierce Morgan, who I have sparred with many times, his show said this is a dreadful thing to say about a man who just got murdered by his troubled son, delete it at Donald Trump. Now, what I will say is that in addition to the episode I made earlier today talking about MAGA fans celebrating it, there are now MAGA fans trying to

defend Donald Trump's post. Jack Posobieck, for example, one of the worst people out there, said you won't see people on the right celebrating the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife. Compare that to the left's reaction to Charlie Kirk's death. Now, again, I want to stress that elected officials in the Democratic Party, we're not making fun of Charlie Kirk's death. But this idea that you won't see people on the right celebrating it, number one, we know that's not true, again, because of the episode I made on my show earlier today, but also because of Donald Trump's own post coming from the leader of their party, the president of the United States, the top dog in the Republican Party celebrating it.

So I think Jack Posobie's post kind of aged pretty poorly, and he realized that. He later said Rob Reiner called for Trump to be jailed over lies, not surprised Trump. said what he said. So now he's defending it. So he's like, oh, you won't see MAGA people doing this. Okay, but MAGA people are doing this and it's okay. He's now defending it. The flip is remarkable. It shows you the cult that many of these MAGA people live in and he is certainly part of it. But regardless, as a whole, I will say, the response to Donald Trump from his own fans has been overwhelmingly negative. And I think that's surprising him and the people around him.
