Harry Sisson breaks down MAGA's meltdown over Donald Trump not winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Well, folks, the MAGA fans have found their new thing to be angry about. It really feels like these people wake up every single day and then they put their hand into a hat full of random social issues. They pull one out and that's the one they're frustrated over for the next 24 hours. But this topic that they've picked is actually a very relevant one. It's the Nobel Peace Prize. For some reason, and don't ask me why because I don't know the answer, Trump supporters really thought that Donald Trump was going to win the Nobel Peace Prize. This is a guy who has done anything but achieve peace across the world, but they really believed in their hearts and their brain that Donald Trump was going to win.

And when he didn't, and when it was announced that it was somebody else far more deserving, the MAGA fans took to social media to express their frustration. And these are not some random people. They're some of the biggest names in MAGA politics. So with that said, I want to show you just a couple of examples of these MAGA Republicans really being furious over this announcement. But let's just start here. The Nobel Prize Committee announced at 5 a.m. East Coast time that they've decided to award the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize to Maria Carina Machado for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition

from dictatorship to democracy. and she truly has done a lot of fantastic work. I would highly recommend reading up on her and what she's done in Venezuela. And let me just obviously state the obvious here. She has done far more for peace and prosperity than Donald Trump has. But of course, this angered the mag of fans

and one person in particular, it really pissed off, was Donald Trump himself, who took to social media to praise Vladimir Putin. Vladimir Putin. Because in a press conference, Putin was asked, you know, are you upset that Donald Trump didn't get the Nobel Peace Prize? Why didn't he get it? And he praised Donald Trump saying he solves complex problems, crisis ease that lasts for decades. And instead of, you know, denouncing Putin or just not responding at all, Donald Trump couldn't help himself.

His ego couldn't help himself. And so he took to Truth Social to say, thank you to President Putin. I mean, praising Putin for his commentary on the Nobel Peace Prize is like me praising Jeffrey Dahmer for following the law, right? I mean, Putin is a war criminal who for the past two, three years, four years in Ukraine, has been bombing innocent people, sending cruise missiles through schools, hospitals, apartment buildings, and more. And Donald Trump gets a little ounce of praise from Putin, who obviously is just trying to flatter Trump. he can continue his war in Ukraine. He gets a little bit of praise from Putin, and he puts out a statement to the entire world, the entire country on his social media platform, saying, thank you to President

Putin. And unfortunately, it wasn't just Donald Trump who followed this line of talking. It was also Benny Johnson, a huge MAGA Republican, decided to amplify Vladimir Putin's speech, where he said this award, lost credibility, the committee discussed the prize for people who have done nothing for the world. He solves complex problems, crisis that lasts for decades. This is Benny Johnson amplifying it. Of course, the MAGA fans in the comments, you can pause to read if you'd like, are all praising Benny Johnson, Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and whatnot. They just cannot handle the loss. But, I mean, it is so crazy that we live in a country now where the Republican side, the opposition party, is actively praising dictatorial

leaders, people who are the antithesis of peace just to try to get a gotcha moment on the Nobel Peace Prize Committee or the Democrats. It is so crazy. And of course, other elected Republicans amplified this very same post from Donald Trump praising Putin, but also attacking the committee themselves. Representative Annapolina Luna, a Florida Republican, said the Nobel Prize Commission has lost all credibility. Really? All credibility. Donald Trump has ended eight wars in nine months, he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize. Thank you, Kremlin Russia for backing POTUS. I feel like I'm going nuts.

I feel like I'm going nuts when I'm watching this. We have elected members of our government thanking the Kremlin. We have MAGA influencers thanking the Kremlin, the president of the United States, thanking the Kremlin, all because they praised Donald Trump and said he should have gotten the Nobel Peace Prize. I mean, the irony, of course, I have to state again, it's just so obvious, is that Russia is the antithesis of peace.

So what they say about peace and who should get an award surrounding peace is totally meaningless. But the more concerning thing is that members of our government are more interested in praising Putin just so they can help Trump than they are standing up to a dictator like Putin. It's so sickening that this is where our country is. And these are elected members of our government, the president, influencers, a member of Congress. It's so gross. And it gets worse, actually, with Laura Lumer, somebody who, of course, is very close with Donald Trump, has flown on Air Force One, been to the White House many times, said early this morning, imagine thinking a woman who cries nonstop about Maduro has done more for the world than Donald Trump. What an absolute joke. Everyone knows Trump deserves the Nobel Prize. More affirmative action nonsense. Affirmative action? I mean, look, this is how you know that these Republicans, especially people like Laura Lumer, have.

absolutely no idea who Maria Karina Machado is. They have no idea what her work is or what she's done. And by the way, if you didn't know who she is, that's perfectly fine. There's a lot going on the world. People have to focus on themselves, their jobs, their day-to-day lives. You can't really study peace leaders all around the world. But if you didn't know who she was, reading up on her is super easy. Google's right there before you go talk about her. But Laura Lumer, of course, would never do that. And she's just going to put out a post like this, calling it affirmative action. And again, she's like praising Maduro here, saying she's crying about a dictator who stays in power when he loses elections. I just, you know, we're not dealing with sane people on the Republican side.

We are not. And the sooner people realize that, the better will be. Because, you know, there are some Republicans out there who are decent people. I think of Adam Kinzinger, a former Republican rep who has turned on Donald Trump. That's a guy who has disagreements, but sounds sane. Sounds sane. You can have a respectful conversation with him. I appreciate him a lot.

But someone like Laura Lumer, you're not getting that from. And the final video I want to show you is Representative Steve Scalise, who went on Fox News today to express how angry he is that Donald Trump didn't get the Nobel Prize. President Trump has achieved it. He vowed from day one he would get the hostage's return. And he's worked relentlessly to get to this day. And it's why you have people, even on the left, saying that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. I mean, if Nobel wants to restore.

Who? Who? Who? Who? Who? They can restore their credibility by awarding President Trump, the Nobel Peace Prize. He's earned it. He's done more than any leader in the world in years to bring peace throughout the world,

especially in the Middle East. They gave it to- I cannot believe what I've just heard. Donald Trump, again, the guy who has launched relentless drone strikes on Middle Eastern countries and has been bombing boats near Venezuela. that guy has done more for peace than any other leader in the world? I mean, like just saying it sounds absurd. And the truth of the matter is, if Donald Trump somehow in some alternate universe

managed to get the Nobel Peace Prize this morning and was awarded it, we all know that these Republicans would be flocking to Fox News and online to say, well, the Nobel Peace Prize is the most prestigious award out there. It is the best of the best and Donald Trump has earned it. But since Donald Trump didn't win it, their loyalty. to Trump comes first, and they have to get on TV and say it's bad. And can you imagine being in a political party where this is what you have to do to not lose a seat or to stay in the favor of the president?

You have to get on TV, and if something bad happens to him, you slam whatever it is that cause it. If something good happens, you praise him like you've never praised anybody before. What a sad, pathetic shell of its former self the Republican Party is today. But look, I will leave the video there.
