Starting point is 00:00:00 Look, folks, I got to say, I'm pretty shocked. I mean, we know that Marjorie Taylor Green has been going at Donald Trump for the past couple of months now ever since she left Congress because of the many betrayals to the MAGA base, the many promises he made and have subsequently broke. But last night, she did an interview on CNN with Caitlin Collins, and she went full nuclear mode on Donald Trump, calling him out very specifically on this war in Iran and the fact that he campaigned on being the peace president, no more war, and now he's breaking. that promise. I mean, she's really going at Donald Trump here. It wouldn't surprise me if we get
Starting point is 00:00:34 another truth social post about her from him, but we'll wait to see on that. I want to show you some clips from this interview that I think you should see. Before I do any of that, though, please make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about this interview, these clips. If you're on Apple or Spotify, please make sure to rate the show five stars and follow along. It goes an incredibly long way. I really appreciate you all at home. And let's get right into it. So this is the first question. that was asked of Marjorie Taylor Green, and it was about the 13 service members who have now died in Donald Trump's war in Iran, and this was her response.
Starting point is 00:01:09 And thank you so much for being here. There's so much to talk about tonight with all the developments in Iran. I think first, though, on the 13 service members that have now been killed during Operation Epic Fury, I wonder what goes through your mind when you think of those lives that have been lost already? Oh, it's absolutely heartbreaking, Caitlin. I'm a strong supporter of our military and the great men and women who serve. I think there's some of the greatest among us and their families who are who are so concerned about them right now. These are 13 lives that I believe should not have been lost. This war is not something that Americans voted for in 2024. As a matter of fact,
Starting point is 00:01:56 We voted for the opposite. We voted for no more foreign wars, no more regime change. And we were told by many members in the administration throughout the campaign, J.D. Vance, Tulsi Gabbard, and others, that they believed that going to war with Iran would be a terrible idea. It was something that Charlie Kirk himself had said over and over again. And Donald Trump, President Trump, I voted for him three times, fought for him to become president, and I still want him to be successful. but he told Americans for over 10 years and even longer that he thought foreign wars and regime change was really a bad direction for America to go in.
Starting point is 00:02:37 And we trusted and believed him that we wouldn't be doing this. But, you know, this was an unprovoked war in Israel, pulled us into it, pulled America into it. And so those are 13 lives that should not have been lost. Wow. So two main points there. She is calling him both weak and a liar. Specifically on the back end there when she said that Israel dragged us into the war, she's referencing this reporting that according to some different journalists and some different articles, before the war started, Donald Trump was told that Israel was going to go after Iran,
Starting point is 00:03:09 and then if that happened, Iran would bomb the United States, which meant Israel essentially dragged the United States into the war. And this is something that President Obama went through and he resisted. And what do you know? We didn't get into a war with Iran under President Obama. He actually negotiated a deal that reduced their enriched uranium, essentially making it impossible for them to get a nuclear weapon. Donald Trump was not able to do that. He tore up that very deal and now we are at war with Iran.
Starting point is 00:03:35 And she also called him a liar because, as she said, the campaign promises he made. No more foreign wars. Peace. Peace everywhere. And now that has completely gone out the window, there is no peace. There are more foreign wars. We are now at war again. Under President Biden, he ended wars.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Donald Trump is starting them. And I'm glad that Marjorie Taylor Green. of all people is calling it out. You know it's crazy when Marjorie Taylor Green says something that is actually kind of logical and makes a lot of sense. Let's go on to the next clip here where Marjorie Taylor Green was asked about Donald Trump's new statement on the war, which is, I will end the war when I feel it in my bones. Whatever the hell that means. Listen to her response. The president said today he would feel it in his bones when this war should end. Is that a clear exit to you? I have no idea what that means. The same way I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:04:24 I have no understanding of what he means when he doesn't think he says he doesn't think he's going to heaven. So I, you know, those are statements that I find concerning. So I honestly have no idea what that means. On the same page, actually, with Marjorie Taylor Green. Again, on this one, I have no idea what that means. When I feel it in my bones, I will stop putting America at war. That's a great explanation from the president of the United States. It's just wonderful.
Starting point is 00:04:52 He's being so transparent with the American people. about his goals. You know, it keeps shifting over time. He keeps going, oh, it's nuclear weapons. Oh, they were threatening the United States or it's this or it's that. And now he's just straight up sending, saying, you know, maybe I'll end the war when I want to. You know, that kind of feels right to me. When I feel it in my bones, I'll end the war, which, again, whatever the hell that means. Let's go on to the next clip where Marjorie Taylor Green was asked about, you know, does she still believe Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize? Something that she has advocated for previously Donald Trump has practically begged for a Nobel Peace Prize, and this was a response.
Starting point is 00:05:28 You're someone who once said you thought that there was no one more deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize than President Trump. Obviously, he's long sought one. Do you think that there's any way he could still get one given this war? You know, at one time when he wanted to be the President of Peace and he wanted to end wars and constantly talked about no more foreign wars, no ending wars, course I thought he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize. But do I think he deserves it now? No, absolutely not. And I don't think this is what the American people want. Look, I... Wow. Wow. You know, that see, of all the things that Marjorie Taylor Green says, that might hit Donald Trump the hardest, you know, right in the heartstrings, pulling out of them. Because, you know,
Starting point is 00:06:15 Trump has wanted this award his entire political career for anything, for any reason. He comes up, you know, he says, I ended eight or nine wars, which is completely fabricated, but he's doing that because he wants a Nobel Peace Prize. He stole the Nobel Peace Prize from Machado, the Venezuelan opposition leader, and it's now hanging in the Oval Office. She gave it to him, so he does the right thing on Venezuela. He wants that award so badly. He's now launching a war against Iran, which he claims is for peace somehow, and he's not getting one. And even Marjorie Taylor Green's on the same page. So maybe this will be the, that right there is a statement that maybe sends Donald Trump off the deep end.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Here's another clip I want to show you where Marjorie Taylor Green is. pointing out what we all know to be true, that Donald Trump has never made a clear case to the American people for bombing Iran. Again, this is coming from one of Donald Trump's former biggest supporters. Even she is saying the war objectives are just not clear here. I don't know if they have a plan or not because they've never made a clear case to the American people why they are bombing Iran. They've never made a clear case why they're supporting Israel while Israel is bombing Lebanon. And while Israel totally grazed God. killing thousands and thousands of people and children.
Starting point is 00:07:30 No, I don't think they've made a clear case for this at all. And the reality is, you know, this is something that Americans are so fed up with, and we voted to end it. That's what we voted for, to end all of this. Here we are over a year into President Trump's administration, and we're in a full-scale war with Iran that doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. So no, none of it makes sense.
Starting point is 00:08:00 None of it makes sense indeed. Again, I just, I cannot believe, this is Marjorie Taylor Green. I cannot believe that I'm sitting here like, wow, that actually is right. None of it makes sense. They have never given a clear objective of why we're doing this,
Starting point is 00:08:14 why we're backing these bombings all over the world. It just does, it makes no sense. You know, Marker Rubio is saying something different than J.D. Vance and J.D. Vance is saying something different than Donald Trump, and Donald Trump is saying something different than Pete Hegg. It's just a catastrophe and there is no explanation. And the reason they have all of these different justifications for each individual is because
Starting point is 00:08:34 it doesn't make sense. They have to try. They're throwing things at the wall, seeing what sticks. Now the final clip I want to show you is Marjorie Taylor Green just calling out the incompetence of Republicans, you know, willing to fund the war with Iran but not focusing on anything else at the moment. Watch. That's how I voted.
Starting point is 00:08:53 That's what I fight for. That's what I want to see happen. I want to see Americans put first, and we've got the Republicans in Congress right now. They can't even fund Homeland Security. Our own Border Patrol, ICE, TSA agents, and others are not even getting paid. But yet here they are told that they're going to be voting, and they'll vote for it. Believe me, they love the war. The neocons love the war.
Starting point is 00:09:17 They're going to pass a supplemental to fund the war in Iran. What is that going to be, $50 billion or more, while the war is. costing us approximately one to two billion dollars a day, but yet we're not even funding Homeland Security and Americans are still struggling. And Caitlin, I got to tell you, I'm still waiting on Mike Johnson to roll out that Republican health care plan that he boasted and bragged that he was going to have because Americans can't even afford health insurance right now. So just to be clear, and I wanted to end on this clip for a reason, what Marjorie Taylor Green just said right there is the point that Democrats have been making for a long time.
Starting point is 00:09:55 which is Donald Trump and the Republicans are perfectly happy to spend $50 billion on a war in Iran. They think that's a matter of national security. We have to do it. We have to send $50 billion more into this war while we're already spending $1 to $2 billion a day. The first week cost over $11 billion. They're perfectly happy to do that. But when it comes to food, security for low-income people, when it comes to housing, when it comes to investing in American jobs, in our climate, protecting it, when it comes in, when it comes to investing here in the United
Starting point is 00:10:31 States, investing in social programs, investing in programs for daycare, child care, things of that nature. Republicans are so hesitant. They're like, oh, you know, we, well, you know, this is too much. They look at their balance sheet. This is too much. It's too expensive. But then they go down one row and there's $50 billion for a war in the Middle East. They're like, yep, we're good to sign off on that one. It is crazy. Their priorities are all over the place. Their priorities. They're are with war and funding anything Donald Trump wants, not with the American people. And it's maddening that this is the state of the country right now where health care is too expensive, but war is just right.
Starting point is 00:11:09 It's nuts. So anyway, I will leave the video there. I just wanted to show you these clips from Marjorie Taylor Green. Again, shocked. I know she's been going at Donald Trump, but this is really some scorched earth stuff here. So anyway, please make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about these clips. each one if you'd like, that'd be great.
Starting point is 00:11:27 But if you just want to take a broad point, I'd also love to hear it. If you're on Apple or Spotify, please make sure to rate the show five stars and follow along.
