Harry Sisson breaks down the latest updates on Mitch McConnell's health.

All right, folks, it's nearly been two full months since Mitch McConnell went missing. Two months, and we haven't seen him. We haven't heard from him. All we've gotten are these weird photos of him at the hospital and a statement that was written by his staff, talking about his medical journey and how he ended up in the hospital. It's been very weird, and Republicans seem perfectly okay with it. There's obviously an active cover up going on here with Mitch McConnell's health. His staffers are protecting him, and Republicans couldn't care less.

But some new footage from Mitch McConnell's home offers some possible, answers to the health mysteries that have been going on with Mitch McConnell. So I want to get into this report with you right now and break it all down and talk about everything we've seen in just the past couple of days since Mitch McConnell has been discharged from the hospital. And let's start here. You know, a huge frustration for me in all of this has been the hypocrisy, right? You know, Republicans are going after Dr. Fauci, for example.

They are holding him in contempt in Congress. They are so focused on him. But they're not focused on a Republican senator who's missing, a Republican senator who's still getting a paycheck while being missing. They're not focused on the many questions surrounding his health. And the governor of Kentucky, Andy Beshear, made that exact point. So check this out. But the thing that gets me about this is he's trying to hold Anthony Fauci in contempt after he said he wanted to put him in jail. So I guess he's trying to follow through for calling him to D.C.

and Fauci refusing to answer questions. Well, Fauci actually showed up in person, made a verbal statement, and then wouldn't answer questions. But Rand Paul won't call on Mitch McConnell, who has also been fully absent to even do a video for people to show that he's okay. So 85-year-old Anthony Fauci should be held in contempt in jail for not answering questions to Americans.

But 84-year-old Mitch McConnell gets a complete and total pass after not showing up to work for seven weeks. It's a huge double standard. It's entirely partisan. And he is absolutely right. It is a ginormous double standard. And Republicans, again, they don't have any consistency. They want to target Dr. Fauci.

They're like, yeah, let's drag him in to talk about COVID and whatever and have that huge fiasco. But they won't talk about Mitch McConnell whatsoever. And again, look, this cover up from his team, his staffers covering up his health, this health mystery is alive and well. I mean, they were just caught faking his signature on a letter. Check this out. It's insane. The mystery surrounding Mitch McConnell deepened on Friday after his office refused to say whether a letter sent to Donald Trump this week when he was still in the hospital was personally

signed by Mitch McConnell or by an onopen. Interesting. Republicans like to say, oh, Joe Biden used an onopen for everything, which is not actually factually correct. But when Mitch McConnell allegedly does it, they don't have anything to say about it. The July 28th letter signed by McConnell. every member of Kentucky's congressional delegation urged Trump to approve a request form from Kentucky Governor Andy Bashir for a major disaster declaration following devastating flooding in the state.

And here's a letter. It says, Dear Trump, we write to call your attention to the July 23rd, 2026 letter from Andy Bashir requesting a major disaster declaration for the Commonwealth of Kentucky due to severe statewide weather event that began June 17, 2026. And you can see some signatures down here and then look right there. While Mitch McConnell is still in the hospital, his signature is appearing on a letter to Donald Trump. He hasn't spoken to the American people. There haven't been any videos,

but apparently he's sending letters. And his staff will not answer any questions on whether that was him or the auto pen. I think it's probably the latter, and they don't want to admit it. Now, of course, Mitch McConnell was discharged from the hospital the other day. He said in a statement earlier,

I was discharged from the Rehabilitation Center to continue my recovery at home. Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends. colleagues and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I've received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff on the advice of my doctors. I'll maintain an intensive regimen of physical therapy from home during the state work period, and I'll continue to engage with my staff and colleagues on important Senate business,

none of which has really played out. It doesn't seem like he's engaging whatsoever, but again, not exactly surprising. But with this in mind, the fact that he is home, you'd think that maybe we'd get a video or just something from Mitch McConnell. Nobody actually saw him leave the hospital. there was no photos, no videos, no nothing. You'd think that now he's home, maybe we'd get something, but his staff is still refusing to answer any questions about it.

So, for example, Mitch McConnell's chief of staff, Terry Kamark, whose salary is this much, still won't say why McConnell hasn't released a short video as his absence passes seven weeks. Take a look at this. It's pretty crazy. I read that McConnell's been discharged. Are you guys going to release a video of him, though, just to kind of quell any of the speculation or any of the,

or any of the rumors online, you probably read everything that's going on, so just wondering what you're going to do next. And I do think it's actually a good point to make an argument around their salary because, you know, Mitch McConnell has voted against paid leave, paid sick leave at every opportunity he's gotten. And yet Mitch McConnell is still taking a salary right now after being out of Congress for seven, nearly eight weeks. It's just,

you know, a lot of hypocrisy. Here's another one. Senator Mitch McConnell, Senior Advisor for Communications, whose annual salary is $224,000, declined to respond when asked why Mitch McConnell hasn't released a video. David, can you tell us why Senator McConnell hasn't put out a video yet? What's going on with the situation? None of them are answering any questions. Or what about this one? Mitch McConnell's operations director, Melissa Bennett, won't say why he hasn't released a video

since his absence. They just will not talk about it. Ma'am, can you tell us anything about the senator's condition? Do you think you should release a video to the public? Why hasn't you done that yet? Just a short video to talk to the public and address them? When do you think he'll be able to return? Do you think he'll return by September?

Do you have anything to say about his condition, how he seems? No comment at all for the public. A lot of people are wondering what's going on and when he'll be back. Ma'am, anything you can tell us about the senator's condition, how he's doing? Melissa, anything you can tell us? I mean, it's just insane. None of these people will answer any questions about Mitch McConnell's health.

They're making the cover-up look even worse. I mean, they really, really are. And now this video that we've gotten from Mitch McConnell's home offers a little bit of maybe some answers here. So Mitch McConnell has returned home after a prolonged hospitalization, but a brief glimpse inside his house has offered a telling-touching, clue about the 84-year-old's health in a video posted to Twitter by independent journalist Desiree Townsend and filmed by Alyssa McGillen. Boxes for a pair of Mick Combo lift recliners were visible through McConnell's briefly open front door. The motorized chairs are designed to help people

with limited mobility, sit down, and stand up, gently tilting forward to make getting to their feet easier. Interesting. McConnell's health has been under intense scrutiny. since emergency responders were called to his home on June 14th, audio recordings later obtained revealed that first responders were told CPR was in progress for a patient in cardiac arrest. Now, remember, in Mitch McConnell's statements, he said that he had a fall in his home and he went unconscious and then was brought to the hospital, but, you know, the first responder audio tells a different story. The senator's team has never confirmed that he suffered a heart attack. Instead, after weeks of silence about his hospitalization, his office said that he'd been

hospitalized after falling unconscious and developed pneumonia. After increasing calls for so-called proof of life to quell rumors surrounding his condition, Mitch McConnell's team also released these two photos, which really didn't help anything. Another photo was released on July 27th, accompanied by a statement saying McConnell's working hard, neither photographed did much to reassure the public that Mitch McConnell is in good health. On Thursday, he was, of course, discharged from rehabilitation and returned home. As reporters gathered outside McConnell's home following his release, hoping to get answers

about his health that might have a clearer picture on his health, neither his chief of staff, Terry Comark, nor a health care worker seen at the Washington, D.C. residents responded to any questions. McConnell's staffers have largely remained tight-lipped under questioning with senior advisor David Popp even ducking into an elevator rather than answering reporters' questions about his condition. Townsend's brief glimpse inside McConnell's home offered the only apparent indication that McConnell may now require assistance with his mobility, whether and when he will return to Congress remains unclear, leaving, leaving Republicans with another headache as they navigate the absence of his vote on the Senate floor.

You know, Andy Bashir also making a good point on his absence from the Senate floor, you know, that of course we want answers on his health. I think the American people deserve it, but the fact that he's not there to vote on Donald Trump's many different policies to give the Republican Party another reliable vote to rely on is a good thing for the American people. But this is concerning, this video that we're talking about in this article, these motorized chairs that are designed to help him with limited mobility could mean a lot of things. I'm no doctor, so I'm not going to go diagnosing Mitch McConnell and talking about what this could mean.

But if his health is this bad that he needs these specialized chairs, if his mobility is limited to the point where he does need these specialized chairs and maybe even more home care than we know, we know physicians have been to his house, we know that the attending physician of Congress has been to his house, that was also caught on video. But if all of this is taking place and he needs the special treatment, then why would won't his office just be honest with the American people about it? I mean, look, it would be one thing if they said, you know what? Mitch McConnell had an unfortunate health episode. There was something that happened and they're honest about it. And now he needs more assistance than he did previously.

That's understandable. That happens to anybody as they get older. No problem whatsoever. But the fact that they're covering this up and not being honest with the American people just makes a look even more weird. It makes me think, and I think a lot of people think, that the mobility chairs are just a small part of a larger problem that Mitch McConnell is facing behind closed doors. And look, really all that they have to do is put Mitch McConnell down in a chair, have him speak to the camera on video, and release it to the public. They keep putting out these photos, these proof of life photos with the newspaper showing the date to make sure people know it's real and that it took place that day. That doesn't really do anything for anybody. Just give us a video, talk about these chairs,

answer questions about Mitch McConnell's health, which they absolutely will not do. It's concerning and no Republicans are calling it out, which not exactly surprising.
