Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, folks, in the midst of all the chaos we've witnessed in the past 24 to 48 hours with Venezuela and capturing Maduro and all of that nonsense, Donald Trump would want nothing more than for you to forget about the Epstein files. And I'm sure that he's very happy that the Epstein files and his ties to Epstein are not the number one thing in the news right now, as it has been for many months now, many weeks especially. But we're not going to let the story die. We're not going to let him get away with it, especially when we get headlines like this, that Melania Trump. is trying this desperate new tactic in a bombshell Epstein lawsuit against her. That's right. There's an Epstein lawsuit against her that involves her name that has some pretty fascinating ramifications for Trump and Melania Trump if it moves forward.
Starting point is 00:00:44 But we'll get to all of that in just a moment. Before I do any of that, make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about this story. And let's get into it. So two pieces of information I quickly want to show you and give to your way. before we get into the story, which is number one, Donald Trump was seen last night at Marlago with none other than you might have seen him already, Elon Musk.
Starting point is 00:01:07 This was last night. This was from an Instagram story of somebody that was there. There's Elon talking to people. Donald Trump is with Melania Trump at Marlago. And I show you this video of Elon Musk with Trump at Marlago because not only does it kind of, I guess, show that their relationship is repaired just in time for the midterms, right? just in time for Donald Trump to buy, or at least Elon Musk to attempt to buy another election. But remember, just a few months ago, Elon Musk came out publicly and said that Donald Trump is in the Epstein files.
Starting point is 00:01:37 That's why they'll never release it. And he was pretty adamant on that. He was critical of the Trump regime and their handling of the Epstein files. And now, oh, it's all okay. Now, you know, he forgave him. Oh, yeah, he's in the Epstein files. But it's no biggie. And in addition to that on the topic of the files, yesterday was a pretty important deadline.
Starting point is 00:01:54 It just happened to coincidentally coincide with everything that's going on in Venezuela and the oversight Democrats who have been investigating this. And Donald Trump's ties to Epstein put this out yesterday saying, we are sure it's just a coincidence. But today is the statutory date for the DOJ to explain its redactions in the Epstein file productions. Meaning, remember those big pages full of black squares? You couldn't read a single word on the page. Donald Trump's name removed from certain files. Yesterday was the deadline by the law for the DOJ to examine. explain their redactions. And I'm sure you're so surprised to hear that they did not provide that.
Starting point is 00:02:30 They did not turn anything over to the committee as to why they redacted certain documents. And I think they're using the headlines, using the conversation of Venezuela, which is, of course, important, should be talked about, but they're using that to not hand over what they're meant to be legally required to hand over. Quote, we have not forgotten and we won't let up, regardless of Donald Trump's new unconstitutional actions. So safe to say that these oversight Democrats, who have really been fantastic with this whole Epstein story, are not going to give up. They're not going to get distracted. And I'm very confident in them, actually. You have Congressman Robert Garcia who has led the charge on this and he has been just wonderful during this whole thing and has really been a fighter
Starting point is 00:03:06 for transparency. But that brings us to this, Melania Trump's new desperate tactic in this bombshell Epstein lawsuit against her. Let's dive into it. And we've talked about the story somewhat a little bit before, but there are some new developments. First Lady Melania Trump has made a desperate move to protect herself in the lawsuit brought against her by Michael Wolfe. Now, Michael Wolf is Donald Trump's biographer, somebody who spoke to Epstein before he died. He had a lot of conversations with Epstein. Those emails leaked of them going back and forth. So he heard from Epstein firsthand on a lot of these things. Wolf revealed on the inside Trump's head podcast that the presidential spouse has hired a new high-powered legal team to defend her from his groundbreaking lawsuit, which
Starting point is 00:03:47 could allow the author to question Melania about her and her husband's relationship with Epstein. That's one of the main reasons she's running away. That's why she's hiring this new glitzy law firm to defend her because they want to prevent this from ever getting to that point of discovery, deposition, them being under oath in this lawsuit and having to answer these questions. They don't want to do that. Melania doesn't want to do that. Wolf is suing the first lady under special New York state laws to protect reporters and free speech after she threatened to sue him for billion dollars. He made the claim that Melania Trump was introduced to Donald Trump through Epstein.
Starting point is 00:04:22 That's something similar that Hunter Biden said as well, by the way. Melania Trump has threatened to sue both of them, has not followed through on that promise. He raised an extraordinary total of more than $775,000 from just average Americans to fund his suit, which he filed in court in New York City in October. The suit known as a slap action standing for a strategic lawsuit against public participation, hands Wolf's subpoena power once Melania has been served. But Wolf has disclosed how she is, or he has struggled to serve a lawsuit to her. He said that one firm that serves lawsuits declined to work with his attorney, and a second had been unable to serve it.
Starting point is 00:05:00 So not only is Melania Trump pulling these tactics of hiring new law firms in an attempt to get delays, but she's also just completely avoiding being served. It's kind of funny how she went from, I'm going to sue you for a billion dollars for making this claim about Epstein and me to, well, you know, I actually, I actually don't want to go through with this whole thing. You know, it's almost like her threat was an attempt to silence Michael Wolf and other people, and his lawsuit back at her, his countersuit, is actually quite valid. Now Trump has launched a new legal tactic, hiring a massive law firm and asking a federal judge to move the case to a federal court system, a move Wolf said was intended to cause fresh delays. If it gets moved from
Starting point is 00:05:41 New York to the federal system, there would be so many more delays. It's a long process. It would just draw it out even further, and Melania Trump knows that. To bring the federal case, she has retained DLA Piper, the third largest law firm in the world, and in particular, a partner at the firm who is a former Supreme Court clerk to Justice Neil Gorsuch. Interesting. A new filing in the Supreme Court of the state of New York still lists her initial counsel, Alejandro Brito of Coral Gables, Florida, as part of her legal team, but says that DLA's partner, Josh Holprin, is now of counsel for the case. Holprin clerked for Gorsuch before joining the firm. Wolf said the move suggested concern in Trump's camp about the case. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:06:24 absolutely they're concerned about this. The last thing Donald Trump and Melania Trump wants is to be sitting for a deposition talking about their relationship with Epstein. We've just learned And in the past couple of months, however many it's been since it's really caught steam, of these shocking new details about just Donald Trump's relationship with Epstein. But don't forget, there are photos of Melania with Epstein, Melania with Galane. She was there at some of these parties. Does she know something? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Maybe we'd find that out in the lawsuit, right? But she doesn't want to do it. She doesn't want to do it. Quote, this is what Trump always does. Wolf told his co-host, Joanna Coles, quote, hire some new firm, ask questions later. And writing on his substack, Wolf said that the move, showed that he had forced the fort the first lady out in the open.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Quote, the immediate cause of this shift of law firms in the attempt to move to federal court may be that after seeming to duck service of our suit, your served, at her logical points of contact through her lawyer in Coral Gables and at her residences in the Trump Tower, we filed a motion for alternative service early this week in court asking the court to either deem her served or to propose an acceptable and achievable method for serving her. Additional legal counsel could signal that the 55-year-old first lady is particularly concerned about the subpoena power, it will hand Wolf.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Quote, she cannot let this happen. So she will either, I mean, her options are to run out the clock on this, which they will certainly try to do. They will use every delay tactic. And that's exactly right. That's what Donald Trump has done. That's what he did with his criminal cases, just trying to run out the clock. And that's what Melania Trump is trying to do here. And Cole's out, eventually the clock runs out. Wolf alleges in his suit that the first lady is trying to stifle legitimate inquiry into Epstein by threatening to sue him, which of course, I think is right. Actually, let me add one more thing to this story here. He said, I guess at some point they could come and offer to settle this. And what settlement would I take? I don't know. I might,
Starting point is 00:08:16 what if they were to say, and they're not going to say this, but what if they were to say they would never enter into a suit against any media organization for liable, for, excuse me, for liable, again, would I accept that? And he said, possibly yes, but it would have to be something as definitive as that. That would be a pretty good deal. No further lawsuits for libel or defamation, which Trump just does all the time. That's what got so many of these different agencies to bend the knee. Sounds like a good deal to me. But Melania is running away. She is scared of this lawsuit. She refuses to be served. She's just trying to run out the clock here. So it's interesting. I'll keep you updated if there are any major developments. I imagine the next thing is her just continuing to
Starting point is 00:08:54 run and we'll see what happens with this attempt to move into federal courts. But I digress. I'll leave the video there. Thank you so much for watching.
