Harry Sisson breaks down Gavin Newsom's fantastic rally in MAGA country as Trump's term continues to crumble.

All right, folks, look, we know that Donald Trump is terrified of his falling poll numbers, Americans voting for Democrats in huge numbers just the other day. But imagine how terrified Trump is going to be when he sees Governor Gavin Newsom going into MAGA territory and drawing a huge crowd. That's exactly what he did today. He had a rally in Houston, Texas, and the crowd was so big, there had to be an overflow area outside of the venue. And while there, he completely demolished Donald Trump. So I'm going to tell you all about this speech he just gave. You're going to want to see some clips from it before I do any of that.

My friend Olivia was actually at the rally today. And she posted a video of the line of people waiting to get in. This is in Houston, Texas. And you just have to see it. I mean, it is remarkable how many people in this red state that's currently controlled by Republicans showed up to see Newsom. Take a look. I mean, and that's not right.

That line we just saw is not the entire line. It kept going. It kept rapping. You saw it wrap there. That is Republican-led Texas. They control everything. Now, Houston is a blue city, but they control the entire state. And I don't see Greg Abbott or any of those.

MAGA freaks in the state of Texas drawing a crowd like that. But also here's a picture of the actual inside of the rally. And remember, not only is it packed and it's completely full, but there are people outside waiting to get in who unfortunately were not able to because of building rules, but they were there nonetheless. And Gavin Newsom actually took time before the rally to go out and address those people. And this was caught on video, a video provided by Midas Touch. Just take a look. He got a rock star welcome. Look, I just want to thank all of you guys for showing up for each other, having each other's back. Tuesday was a big night.

We would not have been successful. We would even have come up with the idea. Had you not inspired all of us to make the point this is about all of us, not just about Texas, not just about California. It's about the United States of America. I want to say, because I've got to get back in there because I'm supposed to, I'm about to speak. Thank you. There's a guy with four kids.

bottom of my heart, thank you for showing up for yourselves and for each other. Thank you for giving a damn. Thank you for not giving it into the cynicism. I know it feels like it's shocking off. And it's all about exhausting us. But the fact is, but the fact that you're here today and you continue to share your voice and not give into that cynicism, that fear and that anxiety, that's the antidote to the fear. So keep it up. We love you. that right, you know, let me just say something. You guys know how I feel about Gavin Newsom. I'm a big fan of his. And he's sounding very presidential there. He's sounding very presidential. Not only when he's addressing this crowd outside on the ground doing the work, he's quite literally

boots on the ground in a Republican state. This is not the first time he's done something like this. But also, in this rally, he's sounding extra presidential and sounding really, really good. And, you know, I'm so thankful for him in the fight that he has really put up against Donald Trump and MAGA. He's taking it right to them in their home territory. And you just have to hear what he said in this clip in particular. We'll start here. And I just thought what he said was so prophetic almost. Just take a look. You guys have awakened up our immune system. We're dealing with an invasive species by the name of Donald Trump. I'm about right. He is an historic president, however. Historically unpopular president.

Under what every key category. You can't even This is hard to do. On every issue, on the economy, on tariffs, on immigration, on health care, historically unpopular president. And he knows it. And he knows it. Why else? Why else did he make that call to your governor? Why else did he feel the need to rig the election before even one vote was cast?

That's just weakness. Weakness masquerading as strength. Yep. That's Donald Trump. And he had a very bad night on Tuesday. You know, and something to point out about Governor Newsom when he gives a speech like this is there's no teleprompters. He doesn't have a teleprompter. This is off the cuff.

He's speaking from the heart to the great people of the great state of Texas about how Donald Trump is making their lives worse and how he's trying to rig the game, whether it be rigging the game in favor of the billionaires who he constantly wants to help out, whether it be tax breaks or just favors. It's not just that. It's rigging the game in the election. You know, Donald Trump is underwater, as the governor just pointed out, in every single category. Every single category. That is hard to do. He said it. That is hard to do. You don't see that that often in politics. And so instead of trying to run on the merits of his progress, quote unquote, his record in office, Donald Trump is trying to rig the game. And Gavin Newsom is absolutely right. Here's another one where he

points people to his Patriot store where he's been selling knee pads for Republicans who have bent down, bent the knee to Donald Trump. Take a look. By the way, anyone checked out my Patriot store? You've been seeing anything on Twitter that we're sending out lately? I'm just saying, if you haven't, you may want to check it out. And, uh, we've been. We're going to. We're just saying, word to the wise, we do have, well, and forgive me, but we do have some knee pads. It's a signature series. They're sold out at the moment. The universities and all these law firms and members, certain media organizations. I figured they can use these. Well, you know, if you're going to bend the knee to Donald Trump, you're going to

I bend down in front of him. You might as well have some Gavin Newsom knee pads while you do it, right? So you remember what you're doing. And, you know, I can't stress enough. And he talks about this all the time. And I know we talk about this on this channel and the show how pathetic it is, that these law firms, these institutions, these universities that are meant to be the pillars of our great country, the defense against an autocrat, a wannabe dictator.

They're meant to be that, are completely falling down on the job. And let me just be honest. people like myself, people like you at home, people watching at home, we won't forget. I'm not going to forget the businesses, the colleges, the law firms, the media figures, the media organizations, the members of Congress who bent the need of this guy. We won't forget. And we'll take that memory, that knowledge into 2026, into 2028, and beyond. You don't get to do that and get away with it and not have the American people remember that.

Now, Gavin Newsom closed his speech with a very hopeful message. I think it's something we could all hear in a moment like this. just take a look. And so as we enter all close on 2026 the 250th anniversary of our founding fathers, let's restore not just hope and optimism, but let's also stand up as we take back the house. Let's stand up. Let's stand up to those that have been humiliated, those that feel bullied, those that are afraid and scared. Let's stand up for those that have happened. given up and let's give them hope. Let's stand up for the rule of law. Let's stand up for a system of checks and balances. And let's stand up for our democracy for all of us. Thank you, Texas.

Thank you, Harris County, Dems. Thank you, guys. Come on, man. Come on. That's right. You know, I'm sitting here. I'm fired up. I'm fired up listening to Governor Newsome talk about this. Man, you know, there's so much hope, I think, that has been injected into the Democratic Party in just the past couple of weeks, whether it be election results, whether it be wins in court, you name it. The Democrats have secured some major victories against Donald Trump. And I don't know about you. I'm fired up. I'm ready to get to work to hold Donald Trump accountable, make sure that they lose in 2026. 2026 started on Tuesday.

You know what I mean? When we won, that's great. We take that momentum forward. We don't just say, oh, that's good enough. We won New Jersey. We won Virginia. We won California. No, let's sweep these guys in 2026.

Let's sweep them across the board in every state, every county, every city. I mean, seriously. So look, anyway, I just had to show you this governor Newsom speech. Thought it was fantastic.
