Well, folks, it looks like Donald Trump is closer than ever to doing it,
putting troops on the ground in the Middle East.
It has been fascinating to watch Republicans tie themselves in knots
as they've tried to justify going from, okay, we don't want any war, absolutely no war,
to, okay, well, maybe some war, we like a little bit of war, to, okay, now we like troops on the ground.
I mean, they have no logical consistency, no morals, no values, no belief whatsoever,
and that brings us to this moment where Trump is making heavy preparations
for potential use of ground troops in Iran.
And this publication, this reporting that we just got from CBS and other outlets is quite contradictory
to what Donald Trump is saying in public.
He's essentially declaring victory while simultaneously preparing to put troops on the ground in
Iran.
I think it's yet the second time that Trump has prematurely declared victory in Iran.
But aside from all that, we're going to get into the story, talk about it a little bit.
Before I do that, though, please make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video,
comment. Let me know what you think about this story. If you're on Apple or Spotify, please make
sure to rate the show five stars and follow along. And without further ado, let's get into it.
One of the main issues the Trump administration has run into is justifying this war to the American
people because there really is no justification. I mean, it's changed pretty consistently over the
past three weeks since Trump launched this. It was about the nukes, then it was about an imminent
threat. And now nobody really knows what it's about. I don't even think Donald Trump knows.
And that was on full display last night during a six.
CNN Town Hall with Donald Trump's national security advisor, Mike Waltz.
You had this young man get up and say, I'm a waiter at a local restaurant in Queens, a full-time
college student who sleeps an average of four hours in night, and I'm still thousands of
dollars in debt.
How is a war in a country half the world away, funded by taxes pulled from my check, helping
me in any way?
And as you can probably guess, Mike Waltz didn't have an answer whatsoever.
I mean, he just refused to engage with the question and talked about everything but the
question. And it's a really valid one from this college student. I'm thinking the same thing.
You know, I'm 23. I'm looking at this. I'm thinking, you know, how is going to war with Iran,
spending billions of dollars of our taxpayer dollars helping me whatsoever? The answer is,
it's not. It's not at all. Politics. Santiago.
Hi, good evening. I'm a waiter at a local restaurant in Queens, a full-time college student who
sleeps an average of four hours at night and is still thousands in debt. How is a war in a country,
half the world away, funded by the taxes, pulled from my check, helping me in any way.
Yeah, it's, look, it's a valid and it's a tough question.
I know for certain, and if we just look at the things the president has put in place
in terms of housing and big corporations that are buying up whole neighborhoods,
the tax cuts that he extended with the big, beautiful bill,
the energy policies that we're putting in place to not only make us,
self-sufficient, but to, you know, lessen these dependencies and lower prices, even lowering
prescription drug prices, the president's absolutely focused on what you're seeing day in and day
out that's affecting your pocketbook. At the same time, as Commander-in-Chief, he has to weigh the risks
and make the tough decisions facing some hard truths,
we cannot have a world with a genocidal terroristic regime
that holds not only your generation,
but the next generation hostage with nuclear weapons.
And those are the tough calls that the American people elected him to make.
And I can tell you, having worked very closely with him,
he doesn't back off his red lines and he doesn't enter us into bad deals.
But those are tough decisions, no doubt.
And I know they're top of mind for the entire administration.
So just remember the question was, how is this war helping me?
And he just didn't answer that whatsoever.
He just kind of said, well, suck it up.
I mean, you know, you got to suck it up because of our justification that Iran is getting
close to a nuclear weapon.
They can't possibly have that.
Even though we had a nuclear deal in place that would prevent that, we can't possibly
have that, you know, because Trump ripped up that deal.
and yet they've provided no intelligence that the United States has gathered that indicated that Iran was anywhere near a nuclear weapon.
So just not answering the question whatsoever.
It's an ongoing struggle for this administration.
And that's why I think you're going to see even more backlash to this article right here, this report, that Trump is looking to send our sons, our daughters, to war.
Young people in my age range to war in Iran, boots on the ground.
This is according to CBS and, of course, other outlets.
Pentagon officials have made detailed preparations for deploying U.S. ground forces into Iran,
multiple sources briefed on the discussions told CBS News.
You're not drafting up detailed preparations if you're not going to use it for something.
It's like what Tim Walves said about Project 2025 during the campaign.
You know, they wrote this whole playbook, a thousand pages.
You're not writing that just for fun.
You're writing it because you want to use it.
Senior military commanders have submitted specific requests aimed at preparing for such an option
as Donald Trump weighs moves in the U.S. Israel.
led conflict with Iran. Trump has been deliberating whether to position ground forces in the region.
Sources said anonymously because they were not authorized to speak publicly, it was unclear
under what circumstances he would authorize the use of troops on the ground.
Quote, Donald Trump said, no, I'm not putting troops anywhere. He told reporters in the Oval
Office on Thursday when he was asked about troops, but quickly added, if I were, I certainly
wouldn't tell you. So this is the kind of footsy game that Donald Trump has been playing with throughout
this conflict.
this war, which is I think he's trying to cover all of his bases. You know, if he doesn't put ground
troops in, he can say, well, I told you. And if he does, he can say, well, I also said, I wouldn't tell
you. He's really trying to protect himself. But the reality is, is Donald Trump ran on no more war.
He ran on no more Middle Eastern conflicts, and he's completely breaking that promise. And if he puts
boots on the ground, that is a slap in the face of every single American, but especially
military families who are worried sick right now and Trump is doing nothing about it.
Officials at the U.S. Central Command referred questions from CBS News to the White House and the Pentagon.
And of course, Caroline Levitt put out a statement that is useless as always, saying it's the job of the Pentagon to make preparations in order to give the commander-in-chief maximum optionality.
It does not mean the president has made a decision.
And as the president said in the Oval Office yesterday, he is not planning to send ground troops anywhere at this time.
The military has also held meetings to prepare for how to handle the possible detention of Iranian soldiers and paramilitary operations.
if the president decides to put American boots on the ground.
The U.S. is preparing to deploy elements of the 82nd airborne division into the Middle East
region.
And we've also seen headlines in the past couple of days that thousands of Marines are being
deployed among other troops as well.
So we're already moving troops into the region.
It just sounds like Donald Trump is looking at different plans on what to do with those
troops.
The planning involves the Army's Global Response Force and the Marine Corps Marine Expeditiary Unit.
Thousands of Marines, as we just said actually, are being moved to the Middle East, three warships and about 2,200 Marines from this unit departed California earlier this week, according to two U.S. officials.
It was the second such Marine unit sent since the war began, and it could be a few weeks before it's in place.
The first was sent from the Pacific and is still making its way into the region, which, you know, so we're actively moving thousands of Marines toward the Middle East to be deployed there, just in case, as Caroline Levitt said,
And yet Donald Trump on social media yesterday said we are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider winding down the war in Iran with respect to the terrorist regime.
So which one is it?
Because now we're on round two of Donald Trump declaring victory.
We're very close to meeting our objectives, Trump says.
And yet he's moving thousands of troops to the Middle East.
So which one is it?
I mean, I think the answer is actually quite simple.
I think they don't even know.
I mean, I really just think that's what it comes down to.
we are witnessing the most incompetent administration in American history.
I mean, it is remarkable how these people were able to get into these jobs.
It's like me applying to be the quarterback for the New York Giants.
I mean, that's the same level of qualification we're talking about here.
So they have, in my view, absolutely no idea what they're doing.
And they're just kind of testing out strategies and playing it day by day as opposed to having a plan going into this.
And speaking of playing it day by day, you want to talk about disaster.
What about this?
in addition to what we're talking about, the Trump administration has granted a temporary sanctions waiver, allowing Iran to sell oil.
So what this means is Donald Trump is now allowing Iran to finance the war against the United States by lifting these sanctions because they had no preparation for oil prices going up.
They have been forced to do this when they really don't have to, but they feel like they've been forced to do this.
And now Iran is going to profit massively. Tommy Vitor from Pod Save America,
said these morons are allowing Iran to get $14 billion in the middle of a war against them.
What is this strategy?
What are they doing?
This is the biggest, dumbest concession ever given to Iran by the United States, and all you need
to know about what a disaster Trump's policy is.
Couldn't have said it better myself, Mr. Vitor.
They are morons.
That's what it comes down to.
So we're deploying troops.
Trump is, you know, flirting with different strategies day by day.
They still can't justify the war and they're handing Iran a bunch of money.
things are going great really so look i will leave the video there i just i don't even know anymore
