Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, look, there is a lot of news to get through regarding Donald Trump, his invasion of Greenland and how European countries are responding. But let's be clear about something. We are watching Donald Trump destroy our international relationships in real time. When Joe Biden was in office, we were better than ever. We were more united than ever. Europe, the United States, all these different countries we were allied with were standing strong together. Now it's fractured. The United States is alone and it's because of one man and one man only.
Starting point is 00:00:28 And that is Donald Trump, who keeps pushing our allies away, threatening to invade neighboring countries and more. It is absolutely insane. So I want to show you some footage from on the ground in Greenland right now and Norway and Denmark and places where different protests are happening, along with relevant news stories that all came out today. Before I do any of that, make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment, let me know what you think about the story. If you're watching on Spotify, make sure to rate the show five stars and of course follow along. But without further ado, let's get into it. On January 15th, which was two days ago from the time I'm filming this, we learned that European nations are sending additional troops to Greenland as U.S. annexation threats escalates.
Starting point is 00:01:09 So, you know, places like Germany, for example, United Kingdom, France, they're all uniting sending troops to Greenland in the event that Donald Trump were to invade. And think about what we're talking about here. American troops invading a sovereign country of which we're allied with fighting against European forces. That is something that you'd see in a movie, a World War III movie, not in modern-day America, but that is the reality as it stands. Several European NATO countries are deploying a small number of military personnel to Greenland to participate in joint exercises with Denmark as Donald Trump ramps up his threats to take over the island. Trump's declarations
Starting point is 00:01:45 have thrown Europe's decades-old U.S.-led security alliance into crisis, raising the prospect of NATO's largest and most powerful member annexing the territory of another. Denmark, which is responsible for Greenland's defense, has warned an attack on Greenland would all but end NATO and announced on Wednesday that it was expanding its military presence in close cooperation with NATO allies. Germany, Sweden, France, Norway, the Netherlands and Finland have all since confirmed they are sending military personnel to Greenland these weeks. And just like, you know, these are countries that went, again, Joe Biden was in office. We would have frequent meetings with the heads of these countries.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Joe Biden would be on the phone with them frequently talking about Russia invading Ukraine, how we can better cooperate. the prospect of growing NATO to make sure we get more countries involved, more countries defended against possible threats. And now these countries are having to send troops to defend against us. It is insane. We've built these relationships for decades. We have treaties with them, deals with them, security agreements with them. And Donald Trump is throwing it out the window like that. It's just insane. And that brings us to what Donald Trump said today regarding these European countries and their defense of Denmark and Greenland, saying, quote,
Starting point is 00:02:55 we have subsidized Denmark and all the countries of the European Union and others for many years by not charging them tariffs or any form of remuneration. Now after centuries, it is time for Denmark to give back world peace is at stake. China and Russia want Greenland, and there's not a thing that Denmark can do about it. It's called NATO. What does he not understand about this? If Russia or China were to take Greenland or attempt to take Greenland, that would bring into action every single member.
Starting point is 00:03:21 of NATO. That would be Article 5 being invoked like that. And we'd be against Russia and China in that event. So there actually is quite a bit stopping Russia and China from taking Greenland or Denmark or whatever. It's us. It's, you know, France, Great Britain, Germany, all these different countries that are part of NATO. This guy has no idea what he's talking about. They currently have two dog sleds as protection. Of course, not true. Only the United States of America under Trump can play in this game and very successfully at that. Nobody will touch this sacred piece of land, especially since the national security of the United States and world at large is at stake.
Starting point is 00:03:53 On top of everything, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Finland have journeyed to Greenland for purposes unknown. Really? Unknown? This is a very dangerous situation for the safety, security, and survival of our planet. These countries who are playing this very dangerous game have put a level of risk in play
Starting point is 00:04:09 that is not tenable or sustainable. Therefore, it is imperative that in order to protect global peace and security, strong measures must be taken so that this potentially perilous situation ends quickly. And without question, starting on February 1st, 2026, all of the above-mentioned countries, that is Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, yada, yada, yada, will be charged a 10% tariff on any and all goods sent to the United States of America. On June 1, 2026, the tariff will be increased to 25%.
Starting point is 00:04:34 This tariff will be due and payable until such a time a deal is reached for the complete and total purchase of Greenland. So let's be clear about what Donald Trump is talking about here. He's saying, unless Denmark gives Greenland to the United States, a sale or letting us invade. He's going to tax Americans. Like, just think about that for it. He's putting taxes on us, as in importing goods from other countries, it'll be more expensive.
Starting point is 00:05:01 He's putting taxes on us because Denmark won't hand over Greenland. I mean, that is probably illegal in a gazillion different ways, stupid in a gazillion different ways. And it hurts the American people. You know, we don't want Greenland. We want health care. We want our fellow Americans taking care of. We want roads and bridges and schools and hospitals built.
Starting point is 00:05:23 We don't want Greenland. This guy, he's completely off his rocker, just completely off his rocker. And this has led to European leaders condemning Donald Trump, Ulf Christensen, Christerson, hopefully I'm pronouncing his name correctly. He's the Swedish prime minister said we will not let ourselves be blackmailed in reference to the tariffs. Only Denmark and Greenland decide on issues concerning Denmark and Greenland. I will always stand up for my country and our allied neighbors.
Starting point is 00:05:45 This is an EU issue that affects. many more countries than those now being singled out. Sweden is now having intensive discussions with other EU countries, Norway and the UK, for a coordinated response. Kier-Starmer, the prime minister of the United Kingdom, said our position on Greenland is very clear. It's a part of the Kingdom of Denmark and its future is a matter for the Greenlanders and the Danes. We've also made clear that Arctic security matters for the whole of NATO and allies should all do more together to address the threat from Russia across different parts of the Arctic.
Starting point is 00:06:13 And we're doing that, right? We have an agreement with the Kingdom of the Kingdom of the Arctic. Denmark so that we can access Greenland. We have like an open trade negotiation, open trade deal that allows us to access Greenland. We have a mineral deal with Greenland that allows us to do this. And Donald Trump says, not good enough. Not good enough. His reason, by the way, was, you know, the psychology of owning something. What a stupid idiot. I hate this guy. Emmanuel Macron of France said France is committed to the sovereignty and independence of nations. That includes, of course, supporting Ukraine. But it's also on the basis that we decided to take part in the exercise
Starting point is 00:06:44 organized by Denmark in Greenland. We fully assume this decision because security in the Arctic and at the outer edges of our Europe is at stake. No intimidation or threat will influence us neither in Ukraine nor Greenland nor anywhere else in the world where we are confronted with such situations. I mean, think about what Macron is saying here, that in the comparison, the United States is Russia, Greenland is Ukraine. He's standing up for countries that are being invaded or at least threatened to be
Starting point is 00:07:10 invaded. And that includes us as the invaders. I mean, I just, oh, it drives me nuts seeing our country be embarrassed on the world stage like this. And as I mentioned, there are demonstrations taking place all across Europe. This one is in Copenhagen and Denmark. Just look at this. It's amazing. I mean, look at how big this, this is against the United States.
Starting point is 00:07:39 This is not against Russia, not against North Korea, not against China. This is a protest in an allied nation against the United States. Tens of thousands, I imagine, out in Denmark, different parts of the country. protesting against the United States. A sentence I really never thought I'd say. Here's a demonstration in Greenland. And think about the population of Greenland. They have like, I think, around 60,000 people, 40 to 60,000 people in the entire island,
Starting point is 00:08:04 because of course most of it is ice. And you have thousands out right here. That's like, you know, 160th of the population. Here's a video from that protest in front of. Let's go back here for a second. I want to read what it's in front of. The American Consulate in Greenland. Look at this.
Starting point is 00:08:26 Wow. Wow. Look at all these people out. Again, Greenland, which has a tiny population. Greenland, all these people are out making their voices heard. Here's from Caitlin Dornboss, a journalist who's on the ground in Greenland. Yankee, go home. You can see these folks holding a sign. Here's a video from the ground. Just amazing. And look, F Trump, F Vance, F, the U.S., and then F, I don't know what Routi means, unfortunately. But yeah, look at these people. Yankee, go home. That's how they feel about the United States, just destroying our reputation. on the world stage. Here's another protest from Copenhagen, you should see. This is going to take
Starting point is 00:09:18 years to repair. Even if we get a Democratic president in there, it's going to take years to repair. And it's just embarrassing. It's just embarrassing that this is where we're at, that our own friends are turning on us, that the world is turning on us. And now we are being compared by these world leaders to the likes of Russia, China, North Korea, these countries that want to invade. They don't want peace. They want to invade. And now Russia are now France and these European nations are having to defend against us. I just, oh, so anyway, the world's is turning on us. European leaders are turning on us. Donald Trump is being an idiot, but what's new? Somebody needs to take his goddamn phone away from him. And I don't know, ma'am. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:09:53 We'll see what happens. I will keep you updated on all of this. Make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment, let me know what you think about the story and everything going on today. As I always say, I greatly appreciate you, and I hope you have an amazing rest of your day.
