Not only have MAGA fans and MAGA elected officials been fighting in public and not only has Donald Trump targeted Republicans on social media, but we're now learning that behind the scenes, Donald Trump's political team is being confronted to their faces in this secret meeting about the midterm strategy, about how Donald Trump is essentially sabotaging his own political party. and these Republicans are not happy about it. So we're going to get into the story. We're going to talk about this secret meeting, which has now been exposed,

and these awkward questions that were asked of Donald Trump's political team. But I think the main takeaway here is that Republicans are in total shambles, just three months away from the midterms, which is not good for them and great for us. and let's dive right in with the report first. So a high-stakes strategy session for Republicans descended into uncomfortable territory when a senator questioned whether Donald Trump would ever stop picking fights with his own party and start focusing on the midterms. Well, I feel like I could answer that question for this senator. The answer is no.

I mean, Donald Trump has been in politics for 10 years. You don't think these Republicans have caught on yet. They haven't gotten there. They haven't learned who Donald Trump is yet. The answer is no. He only cares about himself and no. nobody else. And so the idea that he's going to like stop beefing with Republicans who he thinks are disloyal to him and focus on the Democrats and be a a laser focused man on the on the messaging

is just not going to come to fruition. I hope they know that. The confrontation unfolded during a closed door briefing on midterm messaging and affordability hosted by political operatives, James Blair, Alex Lachman and pollster Tony Fabrizio, according to reporting from Politico's playbook. Senator Steve Dane's corner Trump's team demanding to know when the president would finally pivot from bashing fellow Republicans to targeting political opponents. The Montana lawmakers' question captured a growing panic inside the Republican Party, where lawmakers are privately exacerbated by Trump's relentless feuds with other members of his party, even as vulnerable Democrats escape his wrath.

Once again, what did they think they were signing up for? Did they think they were signing up for like a normal politician, a rational person who actually cares about making the country better and would care about improving their party? No, that's never been Donald Trump. Like, where have these people been? This report when I read it for this video was just like so baffling to me. I mean, they're so out of it. Senate Majority Leader John Thune stressed the urgent need to capture swing voters in Maine,

Michigan, and North Carolina, while others sought to reassure the room about tight coordination between the White House, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and MAGA Inc., which I don't think will save them even a little bit. I mean, how do you explain to the American people that you covered up the Epstein files and the economy got worse? That's not, you know, a great mission and a great campaign message. messaging. Trump's foreign policy obsessions have also hijacked his party's political agenda back in January. His intense fixation on the United States capture of Venezuelan leader Nicholas Maduro triggered widespread frustration among AIDS and lawmakers who wanted him to focus on health care, which is never going to happen as well. By the way, if Donald Trump does focus on inflation,

that too will backfire on him. What's he going to say? You know, when he came into office, inflation was lower than it is now. So is his messaging to the American people? Yeah, I raised inflation. Vote for me. Good one, Donald. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, her then deputy, James Blair, who took a leave of absence to work on Trump's operation, and Vice President J.D. Vance repeatedly had to steer internal meetings back to domestic concerns. And this is James Blair, who, by the way, I've beefed with on Twitter multiple times. He's a bad guy. He's just a bad guy. Months later, Trump has swapped Venezuela for the Iran War and voters are punishing Republicans for the fallout. A fresh Reuters poll shows 37% of registered voters now trust Democrats to handle the economy,

compared to 36% for Republicans, marking the first time Democrats have led on economic stewardship since May of 2017. That's how you know it's bad for Donald Trump. And remember, the 2018 midterms did not go well for the Republicans whatsoever. And look, I have to be honest with you, folks. I understand why these Republicans are frustrated and confronting Donald Trump's team behind the scenes on like what they're planning to do for the midterms. Because with any of them, anybody that tries to get the operation back on track, Donald Trump

just attacks them and humiliates them in public. Like, for example, let me, let me give you a prime example of why we should never trust a Republican and why they're all cowards and spineless. What you're looking at on your screen, this is Senator Tom Tillis, a Republican from North Carolina, he's retiring. So he has nothing to lose. He could stand up to Donald Trump at every opportunity, which he should be doing, and he's not. So recently, he said he will not vote with Todd Blanche to give him the nomination or to give

him the seat as attorney general. This is what he said in public. made a final decision. But Mr. Blanche said very quickly yesterday that he would meet with the victims, the Epstein victims, today, if it could be arranged. Well, right now, the markup, if you all don't know, procedure here, after this hearing is done today, next week we'll hold it over,

the earliest possible markup would be two weeks from now. And because it seemed to me that Mr. Blanche was willing to, to say that he would meet with them and counsel. I understand the restriction that counsel has to be present. I expect that meeting to occur before I'm willing to vote out of this committee. And I'm trying to get to yes. But this is a very important part of getting to yes. So that's what Tom Tillis is saying, saying that, hey, Todd Blanche, he's got to meet with the Epstein victims before I give him a yes, which is, by the way, an okay position for the Republicans to take. I don't think any of them should be voting for at Todd Blanche. But if he's going to take this position, that's better than just voting for him

outright. You know what I mean? It's better than nothing, I guess, is the better turn of phrase to use in this scenario. But what happened to Tom Tillis? Well, it seems like he got a call from the White House because now what is Tom Tillis saying? What is he saying on TV? He's actually now praising Todd Blanche's handling of the Epstein files. If you can even believe it, which you can, because all of these Republicans are incredibly spineless. We know that, but this is what he's saying. Senator Tillis, you have been critical of Secretary of Defense. Pete Hegesith and his conduct with the war in Iran and the United States is facing a critical weapon shortfall. You've said that you regret your vote for Hegesith. And now you're faced

with a similar choice when it comes to Todd Blanche, despite your misgivings. Epstein victims were not satisfied by the meeting that they held with Todd Blanche. And they said that it was just to check the box. Do you, are you satisfied with how Blanche has handled the Epstein investigation? And do you think that it was right for Galane Maxwell to be moved to a better security facility prison? You know, since the Epstein revelation started in 2000, 2007, 2008, I haven't been satisfied with the Obama administration, Trump's first administration, the Biden administration, or this administration. I've been calling for releasing all the files since the revelations came forth. I feel like it is questionable. I don't know why she got transferred. It makes no sense to

me. But what I will tell you is that Todd Blanche is the first head of the DOJ that's ever met with the victims. It was not a satisfactory meeting. It was a start. And he agreed to meet with them on the day that he was doing the hearing before the Judiciary Committee. So again, There's no attorney general since this issue has come up under three different administrations since ever met with the victims. I'm sorry, is that the bar now? Like, is the bar just Todd Blanche physically sitting in a room with Epstein victims? Because that doesn't change anything.

And the Epstein victims are actually saying just that. The meeting did not go well. It left Epstein survivors stunned and angry. Sources telling MS now the acting attorney general made false representations, refused to make commitments and seem to have no interest in the meeting with survivors. So is the bar just him physically sitting in a room? Because that seems like a pretty low bar on a sensitive issue, such as Epstein and the Epstein files and the handling of the case thus far.

I mean, the Republicans have just been torn down, emasquerated by Donald Trump at every opportunity, and they just take it. I mean, Todd, and now, and you have Tom Tillis saying, yeah, I'm going to vote for him. Yeah, I'm good with him. He had the meeting and that's okay, and now I'm going to vote for him. So, of course, these Republicans are frustrated behind the scenes. What about Senator John Cornyn in a similar boat? he lost his primary, and now he's saying, just openly admitting, there's nothing we can do to reign in the president.

Yes, this is a real quote. I was saying as recently as yesterday. He likes the idea of this fund that he wants to find some way to pay these people. Does that concern you as someone who's tried to fight against getting this anti-weaponization fund in place? Well, there's nothing we could do to reign in the president when he said he likes the fund and he wishes still exists, but the fact of the matter it's dead. And that's all we could do under these circumstances. See you all. Wow.

No reigning in the president of the United States. Congress has given up. Congress has given up. These people have given up are elected members of government. Even though Donald Trump has targeted them, made their party worse, is torpedoing their chances in the midterms. They've given up. But the good news is not everybody.

Most people, most people in the Republican Party have not everybody. Here's a former Trump official who's on Pierce Morgan. show recently saying, I feel like I'm leaving this cult. As soon as you go against the cult leader, then you were ostracized from the party kind of breaking it down. Yeah, you know, for far too long, I think we've been told us of MAGA conservatives that we've been in a cult. And I sort of feel like I am leaving this cult because as soon as you think for yourself and have common sense and question the narrative, you're ostracized. Look at Tucker Carlson. Look at Thomas Massey. Look at Marjorie Taylor Green. Look at Candace Owens. Look at myself.

You know, as soon as you go against the cult leader, which I think Trump is the cult leader, then you all of a sudden are ostracized from the party. And so I think we as MAGA conservatives, we still are conservatives. We still hold firm to our principles, but we are no longer a part of this cult where, you know, it just feels that way. And so we are skeptical, I think, you know, it feels like we are coming out of an abusive relationship. That's just how I feel. And so we are skeptical on jumping into a new relationship with someone new.

but I think someone like Tucker Carlson, Thomas Massey, Joe Kent, Marjorie Taylor Green, those are the people that were... Pretty, some pretty strong criticisms there. Even Tucker Carlson saying Trump is openly threatening weapons of mass destruction. He's proven himself to be incapable of leadership. That's beyond reckless. That's literally suicidal and homicidal. And here's another example.

A Trump voter, somebody who supported Donald Trump, whose fiancee was arrested by ICE, now also saying that he's, he will never support Donald Trump or the Republicans again, which is a pretty strong statement. And, you know, really fascinating that these elected members of government are weaker on this stuff than, like some of these conservative commentators like Tucker Carlson or that woman on Pierce Morgan, or this Trump voter who was directly affected by his policies. Isn't it fascinating that the people in our government who are meant to stand up for the people are the same people, though, who are spyingless and weak and will not do that very job.

And other people are having to pick up the slack. Just insane. voted for Trump. I am saying that they are picking up law-inbiting citizens. They're destroying families, jobs. John Gannon is a 75-year-old businessman and lifelong Republican who supported President Trump in 2024. I wouldn't do that again, not after this fiasco. His fiance, 45-year-old Venezuelan immigrant Yasmin Suarez Regis, was detained by ICE at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston in late July. Eight ice agents swarmed Jasmine and detained her didn't tell us why and rustled her off into a car. When you saw that unfold, what wonder your mind? Well, I was just in total disbelief.

According to her immigration lawyer, Suarez Reyes came to the U.S. legally in 2023 and later applied for asylum, a case that is still ongoing. But her underlying permission to be in the U.S. has laps. Some people, I mean, it's kind of sad that it took this. It took like a personal tragedy for this man to realize that Donald Trump sucks. His immigration policy sucks. And his immigration policy has sucked for quite some time. But I suppose better late than never. Better late than never. So all these Republicans in government can pretend, you know, publicly that things are great and they're going to support Donald Trump. Behind the scenes, they can be as angry as they wanted him. But the voters are going to show up. That's what it really comes down to.

And, you know, on the topic of ICE, by the way, historically unpopular. And we're learning that Trump deportations have cost each taxpayer. So meet you, everybody around you, $2,358, which is not good for Donald Trump, not good for the American people, more importantly, but not good for Donald Trump politically because the economy sucks. And so $2,300 for every American is a lot of money, a lot of money when people are already struggling and the economy's approval rate. is incredibly low under Donald Trump. I mean, the question is, is the economy working for you under Trump? And 50% of Americans are saying no, only 34% are saying yes. And the 16% that's left is saying they are unsure about that.

And despite the numbers, despite everything we're seeing, Donald Trump is denying the reality, saying I shouldn't be at 42% of approval rating. That shouldn't happen, which is just like really a very daft thing to say. But, you know, Elizabeth Warren and other Democrats are making the right point, saying, quote, I think it's clear what the election in November is going to be all about. I see why Donald Trump is starting to sweat. It's going to be about costs and corruption. So Trump can say, oh, I want this approval rating all I want.

It's not going to change. And what's also not going to change is the fact that he is sabotaging his own chances and doesn't even realize it. I think the famous saying out there is don't interrupt your enemy when they're making a mistake. And so I make this video to inform you folks of this meeting that's taking place and what Republicans are saying publicly, what they're saying privately, what voters are saying, and things of that nature. But I hope Donald Trump continues.
