Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, folks, we have some pretty surprising news here. One of Donald Trump's goons, a lackey for him in the media, Tucker Carlson, might be going to jail because of possible secret sharing or information sharing with Iran before Donald Trump attacked, which is a stunning development. And that's something that's coming from Tucker Carlson himself. He admitted this in a video last night he posted that has already gone viral. And he says, when you discover the CIA has been reading your text in order to frame you for a crime. Now, I will say before we hear from Tucker Carlson for what he has to say
Starting point is 00:00:35 and just get into the story generally, Tucker Carlson is a prolific liar. He is a liar. So take everything he says here with a grain of salt. But when he himself is admitting that he might be getting a criminal referral pretty soon, that I think is pretty significant. There's also some backstory to understand about this whole thing that's going on, this possible criminal referral. Tucker Carlson, according to a number of reports, went to the White House to try to convince Donald Trump not to go to war with Iran. And then, of course, Trump did go to war with Iran. Tucker Carlson criticized him and Trump said that he's no longer MAGA.
Starting point is 00:01:12 He's lost touch with the MAGA base. He doesn't know what he's talking about. But what's really interesting and something to consider as we watch what Tucker Carlson says is that if he was talking to people from Iran, he went to the White House, told Donald Trump not to go to war. he's saying, I got to do it, and Tucker Carlson delivered that information to the Iranians, that's a huge crime. Now, that's all alleged.
Starting point is 00:01:34 We don't know exactly what this criminal referral is for, but nonetheless, let's get into it and see what he has to say and what he might be going to jail for. Make sure to subscribe down below. I'll continue to cover stories like this. Drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about everything. If you're on Apple or Spotify, please make sure to follow along and rate the show five stars. And without further ado, let's get into it.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Let's hear what he has to say. So the other day I found out that the CIA is preparing some kind of criminal referral against me, a crime report, the Department of Justice, on the basis of a supposed crime I committed. What's that crime? Well, talking to people in Iran before the war. They read my texts. So the crime under consideration apparently would be the foreign agent act or something like that, acting as an agent of a foreign power. And I don't expect this to go anywhere. I'm not too worried about an actual criminal case against me for a bunch of reasons.
Starting point is 00:02:31 One, I'm not an agent of a foreign power. Unlike a lot of people commenting on U.S. politics and global affairs, I have only one loyalty, and that's the United States, and have never acted against it. Really? Is that why Tucker Carlson went to Russia and interviewed Vladimir Putin, complimented him during that interview, didn't ask any hard questions, and then went to a Russian grocery store and said that that trip has radicalized him against U.S. leaders, making him, quote, legitimately angry? Let me just, just at a curiosity, does that sound like loyalty to the United States?
Starting point is 00:03:04 Or maybe Tucker Carlson loves his buddy Putin? I don't know. But what's interesting about the first minute or so of what we just watched here, the first 45 seconds, is that he's actually admitting to talking to people in Iran before the war. That almost sounds like he's saying, yeah, I did talk about the war. about the possibility of doing this while he was simultaneously talking to the president of the United States. And apparently, the CIA has read his texts, and those texts indicate something concerning enough for him to get a criminal referral. And remember, this is happening under Donald Trump, a Republican administration, which historically does not target Republicans, even if they break the law. Even if the law is so blatantly violated, they don't go after
Starting point is 00:03:49 their own. There's no equal application of justice. So it must be really bad for someone like Tucker Carlson, a maga goon to get a referral. But anyway, let's continue. It's interest or the only interest I care about because I'm from here and I have a lot of kids. So that's not a concern. I've also never taken money from anybody. Don't need it, don't want it. And that's provable. And moreover, it's my job to talk to everybody all the time and try and figure out what's happening around the world. That's literally what I do for a living. And I'm not going to stop doing that. Nor should I, I don't think.
Starting point is 00:04:23 I'm also an American. I can talk to anybody. I have no secrets to divulge. So legally, I think the case is ludicrous, and I doubt it will even become a case. I'm bringing this up for a couple of reasons, though, and they're pretty obvious. One is that countries tend to become more authoritarian in wartime. It's just the nature of war. People are dying.
Starting point is 00:04:46 The stakes are high. People's emotions have risen to a very. very high point to a crescendo. And so there's much less tolerance for any kind of dissent in the homeland. The irony, of course, is the United States fights wars on behalf of freedom, but there's always less of it here in our country during war. So that's a widely recognized phenomenon, and it's likely to happen now, too. Can I just briefly pause it? Like, I'm blind reacting to this right now. So I wanted to go into this video watching it at the same time that you're watching it. My first impression here is he's guilty. I mean, he sounds like a guilty man. Of course,
Starting point is 00:05:27 this has not been adjudicated, so always innocent until proven guilty. He just sounds guilty. He's doing a lot of talking, a lot of air filling, and trying to already, it sounds like he's mentally preparing for arguments that the government might make against him, which is I'm a journalist, I'm just doing my job. You know, it's my job to talk to people. Iran and talk to them about a possible impending war. But is it, I mean, you know, now you're getting, if that's what actually happened, which again, we don't know, if that's what actually happened, then we're getting into some pretty scary territory if Tucker Carlson was giving the Iranians or whoever he was speaking to in Iran by his own admission, by the way, possible information that
Starting point is 00:06:08 the president gave him about this war. Then we're getting into some pretty scary territory that is some serious crime stuff. But anyway, let's continue. Another point to make that is worth knowing is that the USIC, the intelligence agency, spy on Americans. Now, you probably knew that, and it's been revealed a lot, including by Julian Assange and Ed Snowden, both of whom are threatened with death for revealing it, but everyone knows. But it's probably a little more widespread than most people understand. And it's outrageous. There's no justification for your government, which you own, your assurance.
Starting point is 00:06:46 in it, you pay for it, to be violating your privacy like this. But it happens all the time. And in fact, one of the reasons that CIA, or people within CIA, just to be clear, it's a huge, sprawling, disconnected agency, what it does in a specific case doesn't represent what everybody in the building thinks, but there are some people who are mad at me for my views about Israel. And they have some latitude. And one of the reasons they pass on criminal complaints, in effect, to law enforcement is to justify warrants for spying on Americans. So that is an absolutely real thing. But the main reason they do it is to leak the existence of the investigation, such as it is,
Starting point is 00:07:31 to the media and then humiliate and terrify the subjects of this op. And that's, of course, happened to me repeatedly, many times, including in famously 2021 when I was still at Fox News and trying to set up an interview with Vladimir Putin. And the NSA, I heard from someone there, had grabbed my text messages with an American citizen and had leaked them to news outlets. Those texts were basically my attempts to set up an interview with the foreign head of state. You know, he's doing the Trump tactic right now, right? You know, when Trump was indicted and accused of the many crimes that he was accused of,
Starting point is 00:08:10 where, by the way, there was overwhelming evidence that he did what he did. You know, Donald Trump would just say, oh, you know, I'm being treated unfairly. You know, they're trying to humiliate me. They're coming after me, which is in turn coming after you. That's what Carlson is saying here, that they spy on Americans, they spy on me, which means they can spy on you too. That's what he's doing. I mean, he's doing the Trump method of trying to ignore the possible allegations against
Starting point is 00:08:35 him in a criminal setting. So you don't need to hear much more of this. It's just Tucker Carlson essentially justifying. talking to Iranians before the war. He's being very vague about it. This is the first we're hearing about it. So there's not many details out there about what we could possibly be seeing here.
Starting point is 00:08:53 But by Tucker Carlson's own admission, he might be getting arrested. There's a criminal referral, at least, that might be going out for him pretty soon to the Department of Justice. Now, will they take it up? I don't know. As we said earlier, you know,
Starting point is 00:09:06 this is Trump's America, where if you pledge allegiance to him, you commit a crime, no matter how heinous, but you're not getting in any trouble, you're fine. But in any other America, you know, a normal America where you don't have somebody like Donald Trump, somebody would be held accountable in this instance. But will Trump's DOJ take this up?
Starting point is 00:09:23 That remains to be seen. I'll keep you updated. But maybe Tucker Carlson's getting arrested. I don't know. Please make sure to subscribe down below. Drop a like on the video as well. Comment. Let me know what you think about all this stuff.
