Look, folks, there is so much negativity in the United States right now.
It really feels like everything sucks all the time.
I mean, you have ICE agents murdering innocent people in the streets.
You have Donald Trump forcing his stupidity upon all of us every single day.
It's a lot.
It's overwhelming.
So this Sunday morning, we're going to laugh at them.
It's all we can do, right?
I mean, SNL last night mocked Donald Trump.
They mocked Stephen Miller, Christy Noem, and a variety of members of the Trump regime.
We're going to look at some clips from SNL, but of course, if you want to watch the whole thing,
You should go to their page and view it for yourself.
But we're going to laugh at them a little bit.
I like doing this every once in a while on a Sunday to take a break from the insanity of it all and enjoy ourselves a little bit.

Let me know what you think about all of this.
And I do want to start with someone that's not Donald Trump, but somebody that is getting a lot of mocking publicly.
And that is Stephen Miller.
So not to focus on the negativity of yesterday too much, but he responded to the shooting initially in Minneapolis saying,
a would-be assassin tried to murder federal law enforcement and the official Democrat account sides with terrorists,
because, of course, the Democrats were talking about it yesterday.
And what's funny about this post before we even get into some responses is that he got fact-checked on Elon Musk's Twitter.
I mean, do you know how badly you have to lie as a Republican to get fact-checked by Elon Musk?
I mean, that's, you know, that's really outlandish stuff you've got to be saying.
And of course he is.
I mean, this person, Alex, Alex, was not a assassin or anything.
Stephen Miller is describing him, but the Democrats actually responded with, you're an effing liar with blood on your hands. And that response went incredibly viral. 2.5 million views. And I thought it was quite good. Here's John Favro saying, F you lying piece of fascist shit. I like that one as well. George Conway, you are a depraved sociopathic liar. And finally, this response did not go viral. I saw it myself, but I thought it was really funny. When we finally climb out of this fascist hellscape, the eventual Nuremberg-s trials for these traders will be absolutely
delightful and I thought this was a really good comment. But, you know, Donald Trump, back to the
SNL of it all, because I just have to talk about Stephen Miller getting dunked on. Any time that
happens, I'm going to talk about it. But Donald Trump has never been a fan of SNL, or at least not
in recent years, he hasn't. Back in 2022, I dug around for this post. Back in 2022, he insulted
SNL saying the ratings are lower than ever before, and the show will probably be put to rest.
Four years later, we're in 2026 and SNL is still going strong. And then he said,
it's over for the SNL, a great thing for America. So his prediction did not come true,
and they're using that to make fun of Donald Trump. So let's get into SNL doing it.
That's just so good. The latest cold open of SNL alluded briefly to a border agent's
controversial shooting, I would call it a murder of a VA nurse on Saturday morning in Minneapolis,
but ultimately chose to stay in familiar territory. They did, however, touch on it, which we
will see in just a moment, but quote, this is from Donald Trump or Trump played by cast member
James Austin Johnson.
After that lady whose name I already forgot gave me her Nobel Prize, I thought, I need more
awards, said Trump.
After what all my little freaks and psychos and I have been doing, I need more distractions.
Trump's idea for a distraction was an award show modeled on the Oscars where almost all of the
awards went to him.
So that was the skit that Donald Trump was hosting what he called the Trump Awards and
essentially was giving himself all of the awards.
Look, everything gold.
Sorry.
Sorry.
Look, everything's golden shiny.
And what a crowd we have tonight.
So many awful, terrible people in the house.
He also added, I'd like to get a round of applause going for the nominees.
But my doctors say if I clap, both my dead purple hands will explode with blood.
Just.
Oh, man.
You really got to go watch the whole thing for yourself.
Their delivery is so good.
There's probably nothing to worry about, Trump said.
Doctors say I could live to be 120 or curfew.
Current age.
Current age. Wow.
The nurse who fatally was shot in Minneapolis on Saturday was identified as Alex Jeffrey
Prettie.
Preti's death comes less than three weeks after the murder of Renee Nicole Good.
S&L only touched on Minnesota briefly in its first episode back from winter last Saturday,
in winter break.
The episode's dress rehearsal included a weekend update segment about the ICE protest,
but it was cut from the live show.
And I do want to show you a clip where they briefly alluded to it.
It's Michael Chey during the weekend update.
Take a look.
I get that ICE agents are people, allegedly, and they have a job to do.
But at some point, while you're pepper-spraying old ladies or shooting at a nurse,
do you ever stop and ask yourself, are we dicks?
Do you think the ICE agents are asking themselves that?
I don't think they are.
Like, you watch the conduct on the video in Minneapolis or wherever it is in the United States.
You see these videos coming out, and it seems like they genuinely have no shame.
genuinely. It's like they're stormtroopers for anybody that watch Star Wars out there.
They genuinely have no shame for what they're doing. They don't feel bad.
And just yesterday in Minneapolis, again, not to dim the mood a little bit, but you saw agents
clapping after Alex Pready was shot. It's like, are you a human being? Do you have any
empathy for what you're looking at in front of you? So a genuinely good point by Michael Che.
This week's cold open alluded again to the unrest in Minnesota with the appearance of Secretary
Homeland Security, Christy Noam, played by cast member Ashley Padilla.
Nome won the award for Best Kiss with the kiss being between her and Trump's rear end.
I also have a clip of that. It's very, very funny. Take a look.
The nominees for Best Kiss are J.D. Vance, Trump's ass.
Christy Noon, Trump's ass.
Cash Patel, Trump's ass.
And Donald J. Trump, Putin's ass.
And the winner is,
Christy Norm.
Oh, look.
And Trump is so upset.
He didn't get the award.
Come on.
He's like, come on.
Give me something.
Give me something.
But Christy Noem won the award.
I love how S&L is really not backing down.
You know what I mean?
Like, they're going full in on Donald Trump.
And Christy Noam during the speech said,
well, I am honored and in no way, dead inside to win a Trump award, said Noam,
who in real life has come under heavy,
criticism for ISIS aggression in blue cities across the country.
Nome added, I feel like I should dedicate this award to Donald Trump.
And I accept, Trump said, happily taking the award off of her hands, which is not a joke.
That's a real-life thing with Donald Trump taking the Nobel Peace Prize from Machado,
the Venezuelan opposition leader.
We talked about it on the show.
And they even made their own Trump awards for the segment.
Oh, man.
You know, you got to laugh, right?
If we don't laugh just a little bit in all of the madness, we'll drive ourselves crazy.
And so anytime Donald Trump gets made fun of, or as I mentioned, genuinely, anytime Stephen
Miller is getting dunked on in such a public way, in such a humiliating way for him, I'm tuning in, I'm tuning in.
I'm getting my popcorn ready.
I'm going to watch.
I'm going to watch as it happens.
I will enjoy every minute of it.
I love watching these losers get dunked on publicly.
And I love when their responses go viral.
You know what I mean?
So, of course, there's so much, again, as I said, so many terrible things happening in the United States.
It's really, really a lot.
It can be really depressing.
And so I hope these short little clips and this little discussion we had about SNL made it maybe a little bit better.
Maybe we can find some humor in poking fun at Donald Trump and this clown show of a country we currently live in with Donald Trump at the helm.
So I hope you're doing well, genuinely, aside from everything, I hope you're doing well.
and I hope you're hanging in there
because it really takes all of us
and the thing about Donald Trump
is he wants you to be tired
he wants you to be overwhelmed
so we got to stick together
and let's do it.
But anyway, I won't take any of you more
any more of your time.
