All right, folks, I have a major update for you on the Epstein story and the Republican cover-up of Epstein's activities and his connections to Donald Trump.
And everything we're about to talk about in this video runs incredibly deep.
There's a lot of information to go over because a new report has just been released by Democratic Senator Ron Wyden.
His investigation into Epstein has focused on the financial aspect of it.
How was Epstein able to keep his operation running for so long without any of these big banks noticing or,
flagging these transactions to the federal government.
And now we have some answers on that.
And on top of this report being released, we're now learning also that Republicans have
been trying to suppress this information from coming out.
It's included in the report.
So we're going to talk about all of that and more.
We're going to break it down in a quick, succinct way.
And let's just dive right in.
This is a report from Bloomberg who got early access to the report by Senator Ron Wyden.
Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, enabled Epstein, the Wyden report.
says. Let's break this down real quickly. Deutsche Bank failed to promptly report to U.S.
authorities more than $250 million in suspicious transactions tied to Epstein, including funds used
to pay women in Russia and other Eastern European countries, according to a new report prepared
by Democratic Senator Ron Wyden. This was a big part of the Epstein files that Epstein not only
targeted young girls and women in the United States, but his operation was international. He
focused on Russia or as the article says, Eastern European countries. There were photos of
passports, what appeared to be fake passports in the Epstein files and other documents surrounding
these young women that he targeted all around the world. It's a scary thing. The breadth of this
is terrifying. Bank of America reported $170 million in Epstein-related transactions connected to
billionaire Leon Black, who very much so appears in the Epstein files, including some that the
bank said had no apparent economic business or lawful purpose.
five to seven years after they took place, according to the 67-page report.
Five to seven years after these transactions took place, Bank of America finally decided to report them.
Think about how much trauma and evil could have been stopped if Bank of America did that immediately,
how an investigation could have been well on its way if they did that immediately.
It's sickening. It really is.
So Senator Ron Wyden serves as the ranking minority member of the Senate Finance Committee,
and he has the ability as part of this committee to investigate the financial aspect of Epstein's operation.
And Leon Black has said that he paid Epstein for advice on a state and tax planning that he was completely unaware of Epstein's criminal behavior.
You be the judge on if that's true or not.
These allegations based on reviews of non-public records held by the U.S. Treasury Department are detailed in Wyden's report.
quote, looking the other way how Wall Street banks enabled Epstein.
The document describes the lawmakers' multi-year investigation into Epstein's financial network
because Democrats do not control the Senate, widen's ability to obtain documents or take witness statements,
has been limited.
And his report criticizes Republicans for not assisting his efforts.
The report is scheduled to be released on Tuesday.
And this is not all.
Not only have Republicans been refusing to assist in his efforts,
not only have they not been cooperating with sending out subpoenas or getting witness witness testimony,
it actually goes much deeper than that, which we're going to talk about in just a moment.
The document details what it describes as gaps in the banks reporting to authorities, along with similar,
previously published information about, of course, J.P. Morgan Chase and Co.
It alleges that top officials at each bank facilitated Epstein's operation by disregarding his suspicious financial dealings,
and it calls for federal investigations.
Quote, the Department of Justice, Treasury Department, Federal Reserve, and Comptroller of the currency
must conduct a thorough investigation of the activities laid out in this report and levy fines or criminal penalties as appropriate.
I think that's common sense, but Republicans are not on board.
These investigations should include an examination of the conduct of individual bankers involved in the handling of transactions through Epstein's account.
In response to questions about the report, Deutsche Bank declined to comment.
Abby Collins, a spokesperson for Bank of America, said,
we take our legal and regulatory responsibilities seriously.
And as we have previously said, the bank did not facilitate wrongdoing.
Once again, you can be the judge on if that's true or not.
And I want to give you some information on the warning signs that were ignored by these big banks
before we get into even more information here.
So Wyden's staff reviewed SARs, which are suspicious activity reports,
showing that Deutsche Bank retroactively flagged $250 million in suspicious wire transfers,
flowing in and out of Epstein's accounts after he was arrested on sex trafficking charges in 2019.
One of the bank's SIRs identified 1,140 wire transfers between 2013 and 2019, totaling $147 million.
Wow.
The Deutsche Bank transactions displayed multiple warning signs, according to the report,
including extensive financial activity involving questionable modeling agencies,
payments to women in Russia and elsewhere in Eastern Europe and settlements paid to potential trafficking
victims. All of this was ignored by a bunch of different banks. Bank of America flagged Black's
transactions involving two Epstein-controlled entities after his death in 2019. In February 2020,
the bank filed an S-A-R that said his wire transfers to Epstein did not have a verifiable business
purpose and had, quote, no apparent economic business or lawful purpose. In October 2020, the bank filed a second
Suspicious Activity Report flagging two potentially unusual wires.
It had previously failed the spot from Black to Epstein totaling $13.5 million.
A lot of questions there for Leon Black, even more than we already had.
Here's, though, the part about the Republican cover-up that I want to detail for you.
The report also says that Wyden was interviewed about his investigation in March by then,
60 Minutes correspondent Sharon Alfonzi for a segment the news program was reporting about Wall Street
Banks and the U.S. Virgin Island government's relationship with Epstein. Two months later, though,
Alfonzi was fired after criticizing CBS and criticizing Barry Weiss, a spokesperson for CBS news
confirmed that Alfonzi had interviewed Wyden for a potential segment, but said the full
story did not come together for airing during the 60-minute season. That concluded in May.
The spokesperson would not comment on any plans for the program's next season. Interesting. So it sounds
like Barry Weiss and the MAGA leadership that now runs CBS and makes serious editorial decisions
for 60 minutes and CBS might have been covering up what we're talking about right now.
Senator Ron Wyden spoke to them about his report about Epstein and his activities with
these banks, the banks not flagging these things to the federal government only doing so after
Epstein was arrested or even after he died.
Then they decided to flag it, but CBS didn't want to cover the story.
that requires some questions of CBS and Barry Weiss.
Are we going to get this segment?
And if we are, why did they delay it?
Why did they not publish it?
And why did they not decide to publish it around the time that Barry Weiss was very new to CBS and CBS leadership?
I think there are some questions that need to be answered by Barry Weiss.
But that's not all the Epstein news we have to go over because we're now also learning that New Mexico has sued Donald Trump's Department of Justice for stonewalling their Epstein.
investigation. They are, of course, looking into Epstein's Zorro Ranch in New Mexico, which really
hasn't gotten the investigation that it has deserved up until this moment. The problem here, though,
is that Donald Trump's administration, his Department of Justice, has stood in their way at
every opportunity in this investigation. And there have been very serious accusations about this
property about this ranch because there have been emails in the Epstein files that allege that
bodies were buried there. Victims have said that they were trafficked there and more. And
Trump has decided to stand in the way of this investigation, and here's some more information
about it. Back in March, we learned that New Mexico prosecutors and investigators were launching
this review of Epstein's Zorro Ranch, but there's some context here. New Mexico leaders say
there have never been a thorough investigation of the criminal activity that may have occurred at the
ranch during the 26 years Epstein owned it. A state-led inquiry into Epstein's actions were taken over
by federal prosecutors in 2019 and then apparently fizzled. Why? Why? Why? Why?
did it fizzle? Who was president, by the way, in 2019? That, of course, would have been
Donald Trump. Of course. It would have been Donald Trump. Here's more on this, though. It won't be
easy to review the property and conduct their investigation. It has changed hands, potentially
complicating the state's investigation. The new owner is actually a Republican who ran for office
in Texas as a Republican. He said he would cooperate, but so far, no word on if that's actually
happened. The unverified claims in the documents have proved impossible to ignore an anonymous
tip from someone who claimed to have worked at the ranch said Epstein concealed the deaths of two
girls by ordering them to be buried in the hills outside the ranch. The files also included
correspondence between Epstein's lawyers and federal prosecutors indicating that investigators
had not searched the ranch as of December 2019. Right now, there is no evidence that the FBI
or anybody had searched Epstein's ranch. Why? They searched other properties. They searched other
things that Epstein owned, but not the Zorro ranch in New Mexico, which victims have claimed
that they were trafficked there as well. Why? Why? The FBI declined to comment. The year of
Epstein's death was also the year that the trail went cold in the high desert. As the criminal
case against Epstein gained momentum, the New Mexico Attorney General's office was interviewing
witnesses about his possible wrongdoing locally. But federal prosecutors in the Southern
District of New York asked the state authorities to stop their work and share all that they had found with
federal officials, according to Hector Baldaris, a former New Mexico Attorney General,
and recently released emails.
The prosecutors believed their case would be stronger if they led the investigation.
But a year later, he decided federal authorities were not being aggressive enough, and his office
sent a letter urging them to seize his assets.
But he did not receive a reply.
The Southern District of New York directed a request for comment to the Justice Department,
which did not respond.
Quote, there should have been more convictions that were tied to conduct in New Mexico.
interesting and that's coming from new mexico's former attorney general all of that has taken place we know
that about donald trump and we know that about his doj right now and of course the uh current new mexico
department of justice their current attorney general has sent a letter recently to donald trump's
department of justice demanding that they released some more documents so far they've only released 31 pages
many of which are news clippings or heavily redacted documents as part of, again, the only active criminal investigation into Epstein and the Trump administration hasn't worked with them whatsoever.
And so now they are suing the Department of Justice, which could provide more documents to them and even perhaps more documents to the people.
New Mexico filed a lawsuit against the Department of Justice and Todd Blanche on Wednesday for stonewalling its investigation into Epstein.
Raul Torres, the New Mexico Attorney General, had said he was mulling the possibility.
of legal action if the DOJ did not share with him by July 31st information about the abuse of girls
at Epstein-Zoro Ranch. Wednesday's filing seen by the Guardian delivers on that threat after the
DOJ ignored last Friday's deadline to provide more documents. So look, a lot is taking place in connection
with Epstein. This report by Senator Ron Wyden is a bombshell. I mean, it really, really is.
It details the years and years and years that big banks and wealthy individuals,
completely turned a blind eye to Epstein, or at least did not report, at a bare minimum,
did not report what they should have to the federal government.
It just runs so deep.
And of course, the Trump administration is still covering up the investigation.
CBS not airing their interview with Ron Wyden about this.
It is a top-down cover-up, of course, from the Republicans.
We've been knowing that.
We've seen it.
We've seen Donald Trump do it.
And it continues.
So look, I'll leave the video there.
Thank you so much for watching.
I just wanted to go over this report with you and all of this recent news.
