Harry Sisson breaks down the latest of Pete Hegseth's many failures as Trump begins to lose confidence in him.

All right, folks, we're going to have some fun with this video because Pete Hegseth is having one of the worst days of his career so far. And it is entirely self-inflicted. He's being mocked in the United States. He's being mocked by international leaders. And Donald Trump is even losing confidence in Hegseth after a member of his administration approached him privately with concerns about Pete and his ability to do the job. So we're going to talk about all of that and more in this video. But we have to start here with what got Hegseth in. to some hot water earlier today.

So he thought it was a good idea to post this. A Canadian flag saying, this is real in brackets. And he included an Instagram post from the Cadets Vernon training camp in Canada. And it's an officer giving a medal to a young person who participated in the camp. And if you're a normal person,

you're looking at this photo and saying, that's great. Good for them. No problem. They're enjoying their lives. I have no objection there. Pete Hexseth, on the other hand, wants to make fun of them.

He sees random people living their lives, doing their thing and he wants to make them the butt of the joke. What's actually happening in this photo, as explained here, is that this is a picture of two women from the Vernon Cadet Training Center, which holds summer programming for 12 to 18 year olds to develop skills on the way to adulthood. Unlike Secretary Hegeseth, they do not deserve contempt or ridicule, which I completely agree with. So Pete Hegeseth is making fun of a children's camp here, 12 to 18 for the most part, a children's

camp just to get a laugh on social media. I mean, he's a total piece of trash. How insecure as a man do you have to be to do something like this? Well, the internet did not let him get away with it because he is facing mass ridicule right now. For example, Adam Kinzinger, former member of Congress saying literally they're kids. This is a cadet program and our ass hat of a sec deaf is making fun of children. Maga males are betas who have to punch down to feel big, which I completely agree with well said by Adam Kinsinger and others are including clips of Pete Hegseth doing things that are pretty embarrassing and yes this is real. Nice one Pete.

Pretty sure with the axe you're meant to hit the target. You see that big red bullseye right there? I'm pretty sure the axe is meant to hit that, not go over the stand and possibly kill somebody in the background. That's just my guess. But you know, idiot Pete Hegsteth. does he know, right? That is real. This is also real. What about this? Check this one out. Oh, go. You have to be kidding. You have to be kidding me. Look. Oh, yeah. Super manly there,

Pete. Good job. He's doing a warm-up exercise and he can't even do it right. Notice how everybody in the video looks far better doing it than Pete Ex that does. Because, you know, he's a grifter. He doesn't know what the hell he's doing out there. He wants to pretend to be a macho man. And look at him. I can't get over. But yeah, that's real, Pete. this is a real video of you doing whatever hell the hell that is. Or what about this one? This is real too. Nice one, Pete.

Oh man, you're just so good at everything. What a total loser. And of course, all of these responses to Pete Hegseth and his stupid tweet are going viral, rightly so. Because, again, what are you doing? You're the Secretary of Defense and you feel the need to pick on children. Like you're a total piece of trash. Mark Carney, the prime minister of Canada, was asked about Pete Hagseth's post,

and he had a pretty good response. So take a look at what he had to say. American officials have been mocking Canada's military, it's cadets, you know, Trump rename Lake Ontario, and also some officials saying that the U.S. is not actually at war with Canada. The U.S. is not actually at war with Canada. What do you make of all this? And what is your message to the U.S. right now?

What needs to happen next? Our message, first off, has always been, our plan has always been standing up for Canada, first and foremost, here at home, building Canada at home, diversifying and broad. Everyone in the world wants to do more with Canada. Canada, and we're doing that in a way that's in the best interests of Canadian workers, Canadian families, Canadian businesses.

That's first. We have a positive, there's a positive opportunity that has always existed with the United States for a mutually beneficial trade deal that respects Canadian sovereignty, which he respected the law French and the culture Quebec-Ques, the country Canadian. But it must have those characteristics. and when the Americans stop doing memes stop throwing shade

stop trying to be tough and start being serious about having those discussions we can have those discussions but it's not constructive but that's their democracy great response by Mark Carney you know like and it is true

I want what's best for this country, but he's right. Like, you know, the United States right now is not serious. Donald Trump is not serious. So why would Canada and other countries feel obligated to do business with us or talk to us or negotiate with us. Why would they? Because Pete Hegseth is posting crap like that. Donald Trump is posting AI slop on social media every day about Canada. We're not serious. We're not taking this seriously. It's embarrassing. And Mark Carney is right. It got even worse, though, for Pete Hegseth. First and foremost, I want to point out that he is praying. He's posting photos of him praying while simultaneously making fun of children. It doesn't seem very Christian-like. You know, I'm not religious.

I'm not. But if I just had to take a guess as to what most religious people would say about this, it doesn't sound very Christ-like to be making fun of children on social media and poking fun of anybody, really, who are just living their lives, doing completely innocent things. But it got worse for Pete Heggseth because Dan Driscoll, the Army Secretary, has resigned, but he didn't do it without giving Donald Trump a message on the way out. Army and his friction with Hegsseth and then resigned. That's his parting shot, as the Atlantic put it, which I think is a great way to describe it. Quote, during a White House meeting last week, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll brought his concerns about the future of the Army under Pete Hegsef directly to Donald Trump, a sign of how far tensions between the two Pentagon leaders had escalated and of the dysfunction inside the building. Four people familiar with the conversation told us Trump was surprised when Driscoll told him how many generals and other top officials had been fired, pushed out, or passed over for promotion under Hegseth. One of the people said, Driscoll argued that the army could not transform itself the way it needs to because of the departure of so many leaders, this person said, adding that Trump expressed concern about the deep cuts to the army's senior leadership. Driscoll informed the president of his intention to resign, and by today, Driscoll was out.

Just like that. Hague Seth's purge of the military has been so dramatic that with Driscoll gone, the military's largest service is left without a top civilian leader, a Senate-confirmed top general, a confirmed army general in charge of operations, or a confirmed commander of army troops in Europe because of all the firings across the service over the past year, the army with more than 450,000 active-duty soldiers positioned across the globe, has fewer generals than at any point in recent history. Driscoll's personal appeal to Trump just days before his exit was the most direct articulation of high-level concerns among the Pentagon leaders about the strains facing the force.

So Pete Hegseth is having his job directly questioned by people around him, and those concerns are being brought to Donald Trump. And of course, there have been rumblings for many, many months now that Donald Trump is unhappy with Pete Hegseth, that there's some consideration of firing him. That has not happened yet. Donald Trump continues to say that he has confidence in Pete Hegseth, and he has so far. made no move to fire him or undermine him publicly, but that has happened. There has been a lot of reporting that Trump is questioning whether Pete Hegseth is the right man for the job. And I wonder how this is influencing the thinking behind the White House. And, you know, I mean, they've been confronted directly with the many failures of the army. And of course, Trump would hate a negative

PR cycle. You know, he kind of fires people when that happens. And now, members of Congress now more than ever are calling for Pete Hegseth to resign or be impeached. and removed from the position or fired, just anything to get him out of the position. For example, Representative Robert Garcia, ranking member of the House Oversight, says he would support the impeachment of Pete Hagseth. Take a look. Is it time for Pete Hegseth to be impeached? Oh, I think he commits, he's committed multiple, imputable offenses. I would support that.

But there's no question, first of all, like, the level of corruption right now at the DoD. But there's, we have, I mean, there's reports of pay to play. There's reports of just the way our soldiers are being treated. Obviously, the war that's going on right now is illegal. I would definitely support that. Do you say anything about the second Epstein transparency of discharge petition? I mean, very supportive. We've been working actually with the Commissioner Kana and their team on it, and so we're,

of course, very supportive of that. Are you concerned that Johnson's going to pull the plug and send everybody home to keep it from? Well, yeah, I mean, they're not interested in doing any sort of governing, so it's pretty, it's very clear that they don't actually want to govern at all. So we're very concerned about that. that they're working on, the new discharge petition that is out there and being signed by members of Congress, of course, mainly Democrats, to release more files, hold people accountable. But also, I'm glad that he's in favor of impeaching Pete Hegsef. I think that absolutely should happen. What about Adelita Grohalva, a representative from Arizona being asked the same question. Take a look. So, Congressman, do you think it's time to impeach Pete Hegseth? Oh, I think it's pastime.

He continues to malign people, have complete disregard for people who've dedicated their life to public service and in honor of our country and continues to lie publicly. And how comfortable are you with some of these people who have been fired or people who have resigned? It seems like we're losing a lot of talent in the armed forces under Hexon. Oh, we actually, part of the problem is Hexeth

doesn't want anyone that's more qualified than him to be working. He wants to be able to, he wants a lot of people who are going to kiss the ring and who we need are critical thinkers. And that's who he's getting, that's who's leaving. Well said. Well said. Another representative, Representative Belin, to ask the same question, saying it's long past time. It's long past time to impeach Pete Heggseth. There seems to be a universal feeling among Democrats that he has to go. Absolutely. All the different things that he's done with Donald Trump, absolutely. It's past time. And even in the administration behind the scenes, not only are concerns being brought up about Pete Hegseth directly to Trump, but it seems like Trump is favoring others over Pete Heggseth. We're now learning from New York. reports that he has kind of been sidelined in the negotiation surrounding Iran, the war with Iran, and the man that's taking his place, Treasury Secretary Scott Besant. So, I mean,

this is meant to be the Department of Defense's Secretary's thing. War dealing with foreign nations, that's meant to be like your thing. You're meant to be able to negotiate with other countries and kind of lead the charge there. He's not. He's been sidelined, so much so that it's actually leaking now.
